Anthony McFarland

PositiveBreakout17:21

Hampton is identified as one of the two most likely running backs to be ranked alongside Bijan Robinson and Gibbs next year, with clear potential to challenge for a top-1 or top-2 spot.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

PositiveBreakout0:21

Already at superstar level and waiting to break out; improved offensive line with Mendoza should help him enter the conversation with B.J. Gibbs and Jahmyr Gibbs.

Insight page
PositiveProjection33:47

J-Mac has Ashton Jeanty at #3, viewing him as already at superstar level and waiting to break out, with improved offensive line help from Mendoza.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection0:42

Ranked at number two on both analysts' lists; considered elite prospect in dynasty RB rankings.

Insight page
PositiveProjection31:59

Both analysts have Bijan Robinson at #2, though they prefer Gibbs due to the Falcons' weaker offense and less favorable schedule compared to the Lions.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeRole17:05

Despite having a high ceiling, Breece Hall hasn't reached elite status yet and faces uncertainty with the Jets, with a potential trade being the only way to elevate his ranking.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveRole7:04

Jose expresses concern about target cannibalization in Jacksonville's receiver room with Parker Washington and Jacoby Myers, making it unclear who will emerge as the primary option.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection23:46

Jose questions whether Caleb Williams can support elite fantasy numbers for multiple receivers, noting the Bears offense needs him to take a step forward as a passer.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeInjury9:09

Chris Rodriguez is dealing with a foot injury and missing OTAs, which is giving Basial Tootin extra reps and time with the coaching staff—a bad situation for Rodriguez's role competition.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveBreakout20:09

Ben Johnson has been hyping Colston Loveland, saying he could do everything and is elite, and the coaching staff plans to expand his route tree.

Insight page
NegativeRole21:41

J-Mac sees Colston Loveland as a potential threat to Roma Dunze's red zone role, believing Loveland could be the one to take away targets from Dunze.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeProjection0:28

Ranked at number six but carries concerns about Miami's extended tanking, scheme change, and durability as a smaller-framed player; analyst worried about his upside despite his talent.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:30

Despite concerns, he's so talented that he may still produce at a high level; analyst acknowledges he may have egg on his face for doubting him given his consistent excellence.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:31

Ranked at number six; will likely produce well despite Miami's poor offense, potentially catching more passes in garbage time; analyst expects him to continue his yearly production.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveProjection0:42

Ranked at number one on both analysts' lists; considered the top RB prospect for dynasty rankings.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveValue0:24

Ranked at number five; fantasy community continues to undervalue him despite two consecutive top-six finishes, 1600+ rushing yards, and double-digit touchdowns with stable offensive scheme and Josh Allen.

Insight page
PositiveProjection30:03

James Cook's ranking on the list is mentioned as potentially controversial, with the host inviting criticism on his placement.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveProjection0:23

Ranked at number four; described as shakiest for one-year projection but could follow Ashton Jeanty's path with improvement once team drafts a top QB like Archie Manning.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection0:37

Ranked at number seven; at age 27 with two top-two seasons in five years, he still has another 1-2 years to compete at high level; has pass-catching upside and explosive profile.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:38

Last year was exceptional with Daniel Jones at QB, setting pace to smash fantasy records; expected to get off to slow start if Daniel Jones doesn't start but has massive upside.

Insight page
NegativeProjection0:39

Ranked at number 11; analyst worried about age and Daniel Jones' injury situation; concerned about potential cliff if Jones doesn't return healthy, though Taylor could easily be biggest flop on list.

Insight page
PositiveProjection30:03

Jonathan Taylor's ranking on the list is mentioned as potentially controversial, with the host inviting criticism on his placement.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection0:33

Ranked at number eight; explosive runner entering his prime in Kansas City's elite offense with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, though durability concerns limit his ceiling.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:34

Durability issues are a significant concern; talented enough to finish as top-five RB but carries higher risk than most guys ranked above him due to injury history.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:35

Relatively cheap entry price at first and second round picks in dynasty; could have hot start if Patrick Mahomes isn't 100% healthy, making him a potential flip candidate mid-season.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout17:27

Kenneth Walker is mentioned as a dark horse candidate who could challenge for a top-1 or top-2 ranking if he has a top-five season with the Chiefs.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveBreakout18:50

Ben Johnson has been hyping Luther Burden in hyperbolic terms, comparing him to a stock worth buying, signaling strong confidence in his potential.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeBreakout6:53

Jose is skeptical of the camp hype surrounding Parker Washington, worried about cannibalization with Jacoby Myers and Brian Thomas Jr., and concerned he won't withstand underperformance if the Jaguars start slow.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeRole18:26

Ramondre Stevenson, despite being 28 years old and having fumbling issues, continues to be favored by the Patriots coaching staff and is expected to remain the lead back through next year, blocking Trayvon Henderson's path.

Insight page

Trayvon Henderson

NegativeRole17:22

Trayvon Henderson remains blocked by Ramondre Stevenson in the Patriots backfield, with limited pathway to increased usage unless Stevenson suffers a season-ending injury.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeProjection7:04

J-Mac is skeptical that Trevor Lawrence can sustain his strong 2024 performance, noting he's been inconsistent over five years and hit a 'perfect storm' last season.

1:10Everybody's back to home base. How was your trip, J-Mac?
1:13How did that little getaway go for you? That was good, man.
1:17Yeah, it was. We were at the beach. The weather was great, man.
1:21I was vibing. I was chilling. I dug a big hole in the beach.
1:25It was a good time, man. Beat up some kids, not physically, but emotionally in sandcastle building, I saw.
1:31You know, man, like you can't contend with an engineer out in the sand building, sandcastle building competition.
1:37That was wild. Like me and my brother were out there were like, because it was a competition.
1:43It wasn't against any kids. You know, it was against my brother-in-law and his son.
1:47And I was like, Dan, my brother, I was like, how are we going to do this?
1:53And we were like, we got to get some form work for the sand.
1:57Like, you know, like, like, I go back to the house.
2:01And of course, there's two boards, which is like perfect for it.
2:04So anyways, you guys didn't come to hear about my awesome sandcastle.

3:02Our latest one that went out was with Willie Three Sticks.
3:06And he's on there talking about his boldly tight end build, which was really great.
3:10And then coming up next, actually, sorry, by the time this one airs, our latest one will be Jacef, who went hardcore
3:17competing, sold out just like I did. He made a crazy trade selling Jenti late in the draft for some late round draft picks.
3:25So check that out because his team ended up OK.
3:28And I think he's going to I think he's going to survive that trade, despite what many of us in the chat thought when that trade went down.
3:37But shout out to Jacef. If you're listening, man, thanks for coming on.
3:41We really appreciate you breaking down your team. All right.
3:44Shout out to Fox, who's been helping us with our graphics, who's been killing it with our graphics.
3:50You can follow her on X at BFoxworth07. Let's get into it, Jose.
3:54Today we got a running back rankings. What all you wanted.
3:57We're going to go over our top 15 running backs each.
4:01But first, as always, a quick hit. You ready, dude?
4:04Let's do it. All right. Today on our quick hit, we're going to go over just some camp hype.
4:10Talk about all the news that we've been hearing going around.
4:13There's been a lot of hype out there. Parker Washington has been one of them, man.
4:18The hype has been building for him. We had Shev on here call him out as a breakout.
4:24The fantasy footballers went and called Andy, of all people, who is a Brian Thomas Jr.
4:29Stan, went out and called Parker Washington a breakout.
4:32Man, he's getting love in the OTAs. He's looking like the best receiver out there.
4:36Where are you at with Parker Washington now, man?
4:39Yeah, I'm kind of squarely on the camp of I'm trying to sell off this hype.
4:44I'm not buying it. I don't think he's a bad player by any means.
4:49I was pretty in on BTJ last season. I was especially on teams where I was looking to rebuild.
4:55I was trying to kind of get him on the cheap.
4:58I'm a little bit more scared about how that season plays out this year.
5:03I'm kind of worried that they're going to cannibalize themselves between Jacoby Myers, BTJ, and Parker Washington.
5:08There's been a lot of hype for Brenton Strange as well, as well as the second tight end that they had running 12 personnel.
5:15So, I mean, we're going to see. I mean, if we get Trevor Lawrence that ended the season as hot as he
5:22did throwing as many touchdowns as he did as playing as well as he did, there's definitely going to be fantasy value.
5:29I'm wondering if it's going to be a little bit charger situation where you don't know who you want to start week
5:36to week or if somebody really does kind of pull ahead.
5:40It's hard for me to think that that's Parker Washington.
5:43But seeing where Parker Washington came from, where most people probably drafted him.
5:47I have a couple leagues where, you know, it was shallower dynasty leagues where I got him on waivers.
5:53Like, he wasn't somebody that a lot of people have put a lot of stock in.
5:58So coming from there, I could see the hype.
6:01I think maybe it's getting a little bit out of control.
6:04We were talking a little bit off air about his possibility, like what happens if he starts slow or just the Jags in general start slow.
6:12He doesn't seem like a guy that can, you know, withstand all the hype and then underperforming the first couple of the weeks.
6:20So if you're, you know, not in on Parker Washington, you're looking to potentially sell high on the value that you're getting right now.
6:27I think it's smart. There's the other side of the coin, like you mentioned, which is like, hey, if it works and
6:34he is the hype, can the ship go even higher?
6:37And I think it definitely can. So, you know, you're always playing with fire trying to sell high on a guy that has a lot of hype.
6:46But I'm personally not buying it. I'm not like desperate to sell.
6:49I do think he's a good player and he could be a good asset.
6:54I'm just not buying the, you know, the over enthusiasm that a lot of people are showing about him.
7:00Yeah, I think there's just a lot of enthusiasm for the Jaguars in general, right?
7:04From how we saw them end last season, which I've been on record, you know, calling them the frauds of 2025.
7:11I mean, they made it to the playoffs, right?
7:14I mean, they proved me wrong, right? I'll stick my foot in my mouth on that one.
7:19But I kind of still want to like bet against them at this point.
7:24Like, I just I don't think Trevor Lawrence is as good as he was last year, right?
7:29I think I think he kind of hit the perfect storm for all that to happen.
7:34And I honestly think that that's that's the part of this that makes it all crumble, right?
7:39Is it's not Parker Washington being bad, not Brian Thomas Jr.
7:43being bad. It's really going to come down to Trevor Lawrence.
7:46And if he can sustain that kind of production that we saw for him in last year, like I'm still dubious.
7:53Like we've seen five years of Trevor Lawrence now.
7:56And really, like outside of last year, it's been up and down.
7:59There hasn't been like a singular good season where it was like you were happy to have Trevor Lawrence on your team.
8:06So maybe he's figuring out maybe Cohen is really the the engine that's going to let T-Law take off and be a QB one.
8:14But that's that's kind of the part that's like keeping me back here and really putting a curb of enthusiasm on all of this.
8:21Is it curb on enthusiasm? I feel like I said that wrong.
8:25I mean, I don't know. I think the show was curb your enthusiasm.
8:29But yeah, I mean, you're you're curbing. Sure. I don't know.
8:33My enthusiasm is curbed. Yeah, I mean, T-Law has definitely been up and down.
8:37He was a high, like, you know, top five.
8:40You're looking at, you know, hopefully. And then it didn't work out.
8:44And it's lots of coaches. He feels like the kind of another one of those long haired, you know, pretty boys that
8:51get the what if treatment about their NFL career.
8:53So but I mean, he performed last year heading in.
8:57You hope that nothing has really changed. If anything, they've gotten slightly better.
9:01Hopefully with BTJ being healthy, at least that's that's his speak.
9:04So I don't know. We can move on and talk another about another Jaguar.
9:09Chris Rodriguez toton here who, you know, Chris Rodriguez seemed like he got hurt.
9:13Something going on with his foot, some operation. So he's missing.
9:16And then to has just been kind of gotten steamed up by the coaching staff, the B-riders saying he's looked really good.
9:23So that's one where that's I'm on the other side of the fence where I was hoping Chris Rodriguez could carve out a decent role.
9:31But it's looking like to might be taking the job, at least just because he's injured.
9:36How have you kind of seen that running back room?
9:39Yeah. I mean, it's also important to note here that Chris Rodriguez is still expected to be back in time for training camp from what I've heard.
9:48But he's just he won't be there for these OTAs right now.
9:52And I think that's just giving Tootin the edge because he's getting extra reps and extra time with with the coaching, the
9:59players and already has a year under his belt that Chris Rodriguez doesn't have.
10:03So that's precious time for Chris Rodriguez to be losing to Basial Tootin.
10:07And the fact that Tootin is looking good is just kind of doubling down on the bad situation for him.
10:13So I don't know. I'm kind of a Tootin detractor, to be honest.
10:17Like, I don't I don't I don't necessarily I don't think he's going to earn the role that everyone thinks he's going
10:24to earn and it's not going to be given to him.
10:28I think that this is going to be more of a committee here.
10:32I don't see Tootin kind of running away with it and being that bell cow.
10:37I think if Tootin does become anything, he's going to have to be that pass catching specialist to really kind of break
10:43into those top 24 running backs here that people are hoping for him to get into.
10:48So I don't know, man, like this is not good for that take, but I'm still kind of sitting on the fence
10:55and kind of waiting to see it play out here.
10:59Yeah, I think that's kind of where I've been.
11:01And I've been a little bit heavier on hoping Chris Rodriguez would carve out a role.
11:06I have him on quite a few rosters. He's a guy I'm trying to target getting thrown into deals, which might be
11:13even better now because he might be cheaper because, you know, these this sort of news.
11:18But, you know, apart from that, I mean, most of the other hype news that's been coming out.
11:24I mean, Ben Johnson is definitely a guy that loves to talk about his players, loves to hype them up.
11:30I mean, I mean, at this point, though, it's kind of like he talked about Burden and he talked about Loveland.
11:37And then, I mean, hopefully Rome is next because then, I mean, I don't know what you do with the news if every week he's just hyping up.
11:46But I mean, he definitely loves to talk about his players in very hyperbolic ways.
11:50I mean, what was it last week? He was like, if Luther Burden was a stock, I'm buying all I can or
11:57or his stock is just skyrocketing something. He sounded like a guy on a fantasy football podcast.
12:03But, you know, I mean, and then you had Loveland this week or like just a couple of days ago.
12:09He was hyping him up saying he could do everything.
12:12He's an elite, you know, everything. So, I mean, you know, those are the two guys that everybody's very, very high on.
12:19So, yeah, nothing like the head coach who's the mastermind of the offense talking good about them.
12:24How do you still feel? Because I know for a long time we've been pro Rome and I'm still on that train.
12:31But does this news like do anything for you, change your mind, sway you in any way or?
12:37I've slowly been like backing off in general on all.
12:40Honestly, like I'm starting to buy in on the Loveland.
12:43Like I think that he's going to be the one that you're going to want here.
12:48I mean, the quote was something like we really loved what he did for us last year talking about Loveland.
12:54And they're going to expand his route tree and they're really excited to see what he's going to do this year.
13:01But that's not a why. I mean, the fact that Roma Dunze has come out and talked about his foot injury, which
13:08was the other camp hype, you know, that we have on the agenda here to talk about.
13:13Saying how this is his new normal is dealing with the I don't know what he said, the scar tissue or something, you know, the the broken bone.
13:22Then his foot that was bothering him last year is still bothering him.
13:26And it's just the new normal now. Right. And I think honestly, like that's probably like bringing Roma Dunze's stock down in
13:33Dynasty, which kind of makes me just want to buy back into it.
13:37Because everything I've been reading from like fantasy doctors and stuff saying that it's not something to really worry about.
13:43And they think that this is just Roma Dunze being candid and honest with like the situation in the media.
13:50And, you know, you know what the media likes to do with that kind of stuff is they take it and they run with it.
13:58So I don't know. I still see Roma Dunze as the red zone target.
14:02And it's hard for me to see Luther Burden getting getting the role everyone's talking about.
14:07But I do see Colston Loveland being more of a factor here.
14:11And I think that he could be the thorn in the side for Roma Dunze here.
14:16If if anyone's taken down, you know, our our champion in this fight, I think it's going to be Loveland.
14:22I mean, I think there's another guy who's just as likely.
14:26I mean, about to get hit with the Madden curse.
14:29And, you know, he's never hasn't at least the last years demonstrated he has the ability to support those sorts of wide receiver numbers.
14:36Like we were talking about in in Jacksonville. All right.
14:39With Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams in Chicago. Can he really put up those elite numbers and throw enough touchdowns, throw enough yards
14:46to make two of these guys fantasy relevant? I think if they don't if nobody stands out about above the litter, then
14:53it's kind of going to be like everybody just is mediocre.
14:57But Caleb Williams would really need to take a step forward, I think, as a passer, as a player for for there
15:04to be like elite assets coming out of here that everybody's hoping for.
15:08So, you know, I definitely think that's another kind of hurdle that they have to overcome.
15:13Yeah, no, that's a really good point. Right. I mean, there is a fourth option here where none of them.
15:19Where everybody's just sad. One for anyone. So let's get out of this quick hit here and the camp hype.
15:25We're going to take a pause to hear from the pod father about the Dynasty Deluxe.
15:30And we'll talk about our running back rankings on the other side.
15:34If you play in Dynasty, you need Dynasty Deluxe, our premium package for Dynasty leaguers.
15:39We rank over 300 players updated every week all year long.
15:42And there's a win now mode and a rebuild mode with super flex and tight end premium controls.
15:48And a Dynasty League sync where you can say, sync down all of my sleeper teams, all my FFPC teams.
15:54And then you can browse around your leagues for who has needs.
15:58And then you can use our trade finder to see what kinds of trades are happening in leagues that are similar to the one I want to do.
16:07Then you can analyze trades using our trade analyzer, which balances the lifetime value, which includes pick values out to like 2028.
16:14All of that plus the rookie guide $25 value is included.
16:17So if you're just in one Dynasty League, Dynasty Deluxe is well worth it.
16:22And use your host's promo code and you can bump up to All In and get $25 off.
16:27Sierra has all the best active and outdoor brands for the super athletic stuff.
16:32Like running gear for cruising up the trail. Woo!
16:34And the super athletic-ish stuff. Like fishing gear for chilling by the creek.
16:38Nice cast. Fitness apparel to push for higher reps.
16:41You got this. And golf balls priced so you can afford to lose one.
16:46Or a few. Head to Sierra or Sierra.com for the brands you want at the prices that let you do it all.
16:53From athletic to athletic-ish, Sierra's got it. You don't wash your jersey during a win streak.
16:58You don't switch seats when your team's up big.
17:00And you definitely don't shave during the playoffs. When things are working, you don't change them.
17:06That's why when you drink Jägermeister, you drink it ice cold.
17:09Anything else? Well, that'd just be bad luck. Drink it cold or don't drink it at all.
17:14Jägermeister. Damn, that's cold. Drink responsibly. Jägermeister liqueur, 35% alcohol by volume.
17:18Imported by Mass Jägermeister. U.S. White Plains, New York.
17:21All right, welcome back. Let's get into our running back rankings here.
17:25We're going to go over our top 15. And why don't we do it like we did last time?
17:31But let's go five at a time. I think that's probably a little bit better.
17:35Gives us a little bit larger of a chunk to work with here.
17:39And we'll just kind of compare as we go down.
17:43So who do you have for your top five running backs here?
17:46Yeah, so I mean, I think the first couple are going to be pretty chalked for most everybody.
17:52I think you either have Gibbs or Bijan. I think a lot of people have Bijan.
17:57But I mean, I was high on Gibbs beforehand and everything that, you know, we were just talking about camp.
18:03I have everything that's been talked about. Gibbs is, you know, he's our bell cow.
18:08Those are literal words coming out of, you know, the head coach who took over play calling.
18:13And when he took over play calling, he used Bijan, Jameer Gibbs, sorry, as a bell cow.
18:19You know, with the limited touches we've seen Gibbs through pretty much his entire career, he's been an elite fantasy asset.
18:25So what kind of cheat code are we going to unlock?
18:29You know, once he gets made a full-time bell cow, you know, to me it's, you know, what's his name?
18:35My goodness, I'm completely blanking. Guns Mahoney. Yeah, what's his real name?
18:39I was trying to say his real name. Dan Campbell.
18:42Dan Campbell. As soon as, you know, Dan Campbell is at the PlayStation controller right now.
18:47Up, up, down, XL2, putting in the cheat code that's unlocking the full power that Jameer Gibbs has.
18:53So I could easily see him, you know, outperforming Bijan.
18:56He's just a little bit more explosive. So that's my number one.
19:00My number two is Bijan. You want to go through all five and then we kind of talk about them?
19:06Or you want one by one, talk about them?
19:09How did you want to? Yeah, you know what?
19:12Maybe let's kind of go one by one and we'll just go.
19:15So I also have Jameer Gibbs and Bijan Robinson, one and two.
19:19So I think we are in agreeance there. And for the same reasons.
19:23I just think Jameer Gibbs has the higher ceiling for this season.
19:27And so I think by the time we get to this point next year, it's easily, it's an easier path for me
19:34to see Gibbs be the number one than it is for Bijan Robinson, where, you know, the Atlanta Falcons offense just doesn't
19:41have a ton of hope right now. They also don't have a really favorable schedule like the Lions do.
19:47So I think Gibbs and just having that void of, you know, rushing share with David Montgomery leaving to go to the
19:54Texans, I think it's wheels up for Gibbs too.
19:56So I agree with you there. And then, yeah, Bijan Robinson, he's still a stud.
20:01This is not a knock on Bijan Robinson by any means.
20:05I would still like him in just about any format, but I think I would like prefer Gibbs over Bijan Robinson and all of those.
20:12So number three, I think is where we differ quite a bit.
20:16So who do you have at number three? So I, so when I was making my list, kind of like my wide receiver rankings list.
20:24So this is definitely a dynasty rankings list, but I'm taking a dynasty view of like two to three years, because I
20:31think as contenders and as players, that's kind of the window I'm looking at it, the lens I'm looking at it through,
20:38which will explain some of my picks. I'm not using that as a cop-out, but just so you can guys can kind
20:45of understand the mind that I was in when I was making the list.
20:49So for that, some of these guys are going to be higher because, you know, obviously most of these guys, Gentie love
20:56guys we've talked about Gibbs Robinson and a bunch of all these guys.
21:00Yeah. You can project five years out. Most of them will be on their fifth year option on the same team, but
21:07you know, injuries, there's so many things that can change that I kind of just like to look at it at a bit of a smaller window.
21:16So yeah, my next. So when I was doing the list, there's some players that I was being pulled more by how
21:23young they are and then more so than the next couple of years.
21:27But for me, it's Ashton Gentie. I had him at three.
21:30I think he's already kind of at that superstar level.
21:33He's just waiting to break out. Everybody was a little bit disappointed by the rookie year, but they've done a lot to fix the line.
21:41You got Mendoza there who should, by all means, if not Kirk cousins piloting the ship for a little bit, but I mean, he's the true workhorse.
21:50They don't really have anybody behind him. And if the offense just improves a little bit and no offensive line, just gives them a little bit more room.
21:58I think you're going to see him break out and kind of enter the conversation with the B Johns and the Gibbs.
22:05Yeah. I don't have a lot of pushback on what you're saying there.
22:09I have Ashton Gentie at four. And for my number three, I hinted at this on our breakout episode, you know, a
22:16couple of weeks back now with Omari and Hampton as my number three.
22:20And I just don't see a better situation, you know, yeah, sure.
22:24Ashton Gentie has an improved situation. Jeremiah Love is young and a stud.
22:28Devon A. Chan, you know, like when you start looking at the guys below them, like none of them have as good
22:35of a situation as Omari and Hampton. And I just, I really believe in this breakout this year.
22:41So I'm, I'm just going to put him there.
22:44And I think that having him at three, but being able to get him behind Ashton Gentie, Jeremiah Love, and sometimes even Devon A.
22:51Chan is just a huge boon for that. Like you could tear off of any of those guys and get Omari and
22:58Hampton plus and give me the Omari and Hampton plus just about every single time on those ones.
23:04So I have Omari and Hampton at three, Ashton Gentie at four.
23:07Who do you have at number four, Jose? So yeah, it's Jeremiah Love who you spoke with, which I think it's, it's
23:14kind of maybe the shakiest, at least for this one year projection.
23:18I think Jen, you kind of would see him on the exact like Gentie path where maybe this year, it's not the
23:25greatest, but as soon as they are drafting one, you know, one overall or in the top two, three, and they're drafting
23:32an Archie Manning or who have you, I think the hype and everything will kind of real realign with what Jeremiah Love can do and what he is.
23:41I just like his profile a little bit better than like Hampton, who I have a little bit lower on my list
23:48in terms of, I mean, I guess I'll speak on Hampton when we get there, but yeah, that's who I had at four.
23:55I think he's just the next like elite dual threat dynasty back that we're going to be talking about.
24:01Yeah. And that's fair. I have, you know, him at five.
24:04So right after Ashton Gentie at four, then I go Jeremiah Love at five.
24:09And then at your five, I think is a little bit of a surprise for, for a lot of rankings here.
24:15So go ahead and explain here who you have there and why you have them there.
24:20Yeah. I mean, it's James cook. I think that's going to be a pretty big surprise for a lot of people, but
24:27I think the fantasy community just continues to under Valley what he does.
24:31You know, he's his offensive scheme has not changed.
24:34They promoted the OC. He's still with Josh Allen.
24:37He's still on one of the best offenses in the league.
24:40You know, last year it was, well, he scored 16 touchdowns.
24:44He's not going to get the work. And then he goes out and has the rushing title or close to it.
24:51I can't remember if he ended up getting it or if somebody just snaked them right at the end, but he has 1600 yards.
24:58He still had double digit touchdowns. Yes. Josh Allen's always, you know, the Lamar sort of situation with the running quarterback that
25:05can, you know, take away those touchdowns, but he still had double digit touchdowns, which I know are not the stickiest that,
25:12but just in terms of watching him run, watching what the offense does, they didn't do anything to adjust the running back room.
25:19It's still Ray Davis and, and you know, the other guys who don't take him off the field very much at all.
25:26So I just think that it's a situation where people continue to undervalue him.
25:30And I just, you know, two top six finishes back to back.
25:34This would be, you know, in terms of if he finished here, this is not where I'm calling him to be the top end.
25:42Like this is his finish, but just in dynasty rankings for the next two seasons, James Cook's that guy.
25:48He's kind of within all the youngsters, right? He's probably the oldest guy.
25:52I think he's 26, I think going on 27, but that means for the next two years, he's still away from the H you know, the H cliff.
26:01So I just see him producing at a higher level.
26:04And some of these guys based on their situation, like Hampton, who is my number six, since you've talked about, I want
26:11to talk about it a little bit. I do love the situation.
26:14Like you said, I am worried a little bit is, is some of these other guys, we, we what's his name?
26:21Daniels. McDaniels has used other backs. He's, you know, we saw what he did with Monca.
26:26Sorry, not Montgomery. What's his name? Mostard, right. When he got like 15 touchdowns that one season.
26:31So Devon, a Chan, except the very last season that he was there, because it didn't really seem like anybody else was worth using.
26:39He got all the work. Is Hampton going to get 20 plus touches a game?
26:44Maybe he should. Right. But, you know, you know, you know, Kimani Vidal and Keaton Mitchell are all there.
26:50I'm a little bit worried that they might have a bigger role than people are, are hoping or wishing last year when
26:57Hampton was healthy, but that was still playing in before his injury.
27:00It was, what's his name? Najee. Najee before he got hurt.
27:04So I don't know. I like the, the concerns about him being a workhorse and getting as many.
27:09Touches is what I'm kind of mostly worried about in terms of handing and why he's a little bit lower.
27:16But, but you know, his youth and everything kind of still props him up to be here in the top six for me.
27:23Yeah. In terms of Keaton Mitchell and Kimani Vidal, I'm a little worried that they're going to eat into the receiving upside for Omari and Hampton.
27:31I just, I don't see a world where Kimani Vidal stays on the field over Omari and Hampton.
27:37Like I get that. We saw him be good in relief last year, but like we see that all the time.
27:43Where backup running backs look good. And then they just go back to be nothing.
27:48And then on top of that too, like there's been an offensive scheme change to Kamani Vidal was three coaches ago.
27:55Right. So it's like, he's not only once removed, he's twice removed from, from the original, you know, believer in him.
28:01And yeah, he looked good. Like I, I'm not going to lie, but I honestly, like in the scheme that they were
28:08running last year, I think just about anyone could have been okay.
28:12Like they also were playing. Who's who's that other guy, Jared Patterson, I think.
28:16Right. And, and he, he, he looked fine too.
28:19In fact, I think people were debating between Vidal and Patterson coming out of that, that Omari and Hampton injury.
28:25So I'm not super worried about them. Keaton Mitchell is a little bit more worrisome for me, especially when it comes to
28:32like pass catching upside, but Omari and Hampton is going to be the guy on the field.
28:38And he's just so efficient with that offensive line that they have in the scheme that they're going to be running.
28:44Like, I really think Omari and Hampton is just going to smash this year.
28:49And I'm not, I'm not super worried about those, those other guys stealing touches, but that could be a bad take here.
28:56But I do want to harp on a little bit more of why James cook ahead of H and because that seems a little bit bonkers to me.
29:04Yeah. I mean, I don't know if I'm falling back into the patterns of just not liking H and there's always seems to be a reason.
29:13And then he just comes out and proves that he's just a really good player, but the dolphin situation feels like one.
29:19That's not kind of like what we talked about.
29:22Jeremiah love where, you know, next year when the court get the quarterback, things could change.
29:27I mean, maybe Malik Willis ends up being the guy, but just the, the kind of extended tanking that they're doing over
29:34there in, in Miami has me pretty worried about his ability, his upside, his ability to stay healthy as a smaller framed guy.
29:41And then you talk about a change of scheme.
29:44He's having a complete change of scheme too, right?
29:47Which we don't know how they're going to view him.
29:50They haven't done anything in the backfield to, you know, make it seem like, somebody is coming in, but they did have
29:57whatever, Ollie Gordon and one other guy, right. That they drafted the previous years.
30:02Yeah. So it's not like they needed to kind of fill that hole when they have a lot of holes to fill in on that team.
30:10So I just, I don't know, to me, I'm just worried about that as well.
30:14Like for the next two years, if you tell me Devon, he chance all his touches decreased and because of the team
30:21is so bad, it's kind of like in a Judkin sort of situation where his offense is just so bad that it's
30:28hard for them to get him the ball. He is just so good that maybe it doesn't matter.
30:34Maybe he's just such a good player that, you know, at the end of the next, at the end of the season
30:41coming up, I have egg on my face when it comes to Devon, he can again, that maybe I'm just, you know,
30:48like I said, falling back into the old habits.
30:51I'm just very worried about what that Miami offense is going to be going into the future of the next couple of years.
30:58No, that's super fair. I have Devon HN at six, you know, ahead of Jonathan Taylor and then James Cook right behind him.
31:05So Devon HN just two spots ahead of him.
31:08And yeah, he's just good at football. I'm done trying to doubt him because I've, I've been with you on that chain, that train.
31:15And who else is this offense going to run through?
31:19Like the only thing that really worries me is, if he gets the ball too much, you know what I mean?
31:25Like if they, if they just give it to him so much that he's just going to get killed over and over
31:32again, then he is so tiny that he might just break, you know, by like week eight.
31:37That's the one thing that kind of has me a little bit worried here, but between that and then a mobile Malik
31:44Willis having to account for Malik Willis, his legs, I think Devon HN will have some lanes that open up for him.
31:51And if you give him any kind of space, he gone.
31:55And so I really think he's going to do what he does every year.
31:59And it's just going to, that's going to produce.
32:02And I don't think the offense is going to be holding them back too much.
32:07If anything, like that feels like an upside for him because he's probably going to catch more passes and garbage time.
32:13It could be an ugly, like you're not going to want to watch Devon HN this year, but I think that he'll still probably be good for fantasy.
32:22So, so, okay, I get it. So it's more, it's less about James Cook being better than HN.
32:28It's just more about HN in a situation where you think that these guys will end up next year.
32:34Yeah. But I do think James Cook's ability as a football player is, is underrated.
32:38Like I feel people just kind of poo poo him and they say, no, he's, and it's like you watch him and he looks very good.
32:47He reminded me a little bit of like an Alvin Kamara, like when he's getting the ball, catching the ball in terms
32:53of HN and can he handle it? You know, I did mention that.
32:58I mean, he took like over 300 touches last year.
33:01So, you know, he, he did stay healthy during most of that.
33:04I think last year he played, I want to say, was it 16 games.
33:09So he did miss a little bit. I think he tweaked an ankle there, but yeah.
33:14And I mean, I can understand people questioning him and Jonathan Taylor, who you talked to like having James Cook as high as he is.
33:22He's definitely the, probably the most controversial player besides where I have Jonathan Taylor, which is quite low.
33:27We'll get him to him in a while, but I mean, I do have to live on HN one spot behind where you have them.
33:35So, you know, you had him six, I have him seven.
33:39My next guy, again, kind of looking at this in a two to three year window is Kenneth Walker, who also, you
33:46know, we have lots of questions about in terms of his health.
33:49Can he stay healthy? But if he can, right.
33:52Is he's one of like, I think he's very polarizing, but I think people understand what he will be in this Kansas city offense.
34:00You know, he's an explosive runner who's entering his prime, right.
34:03This is a prime of his career. And he's on probably the best situation possible, at least in terms of playing with
34:10the best quarterback and best head coach. That seemed a little crazy coming.
34:14You know, he was with the Superbowl winning Seahawks, but I mean, I think everybody would say that my homes and read
34:21will be able to do a lot more for his ability.
34:25Um, but it's, uh, you know, the injuries, right.
34:27And the long-term workload, uh, security, um, he's talented enough to finish as a top five running back, but carries a risk,
34:34um, a lot higher risk than I think most of the guys above him do.
34:39Right. In terms of, will he be able to stay healthy?
34:42Um, I think if he was somebody at shown being able to stay 16, 17 games, healthy multiple seasons, he'd probably be
34:49higher on lit on this list and most people's list.
34:53But, uh, I think that was durability issues. Definitely pull him down.
34:56Yeah, I think so too. Right. I have him at nine behind James cook.
35:01So just one spot behind where you have him.
35:03And that's because I have Jonathan Taylor up above both of them.
35:07And I like Kenneth Walker. I'm buying into the hype for better or worse.
35:12So I I'm really hoping for the better here.
35:14And he could start really strong this, this season too, just given that Patrick Mahomes is still coming off of that ACL PCL injury.
35:22He may not be a hundred percent, even if he does start.
35:26So I think they might lean on that run game a little bit more.
35:30And Kenneth Walker could be the huge beneficiary of that.
35:33So given that he might have a hot start, even if you don't believe in him or you think the injury is
35:40coming, I think that you could probably flip him in season after the first couple of weeks.
35:46If, if that's where you wanted to go with it, because I think right now, like the price of entry is still relatively cheap.
35:53Like, I think you could probably get them for like a first and a second, like a 27 first and a second, depending on who's selling.
36:01Um, I had bought him at that price in our token league when the news came of, of him getting traded and
36:08it was my first and second as a contender.
36:11So that just felt like a smash to me.
36:14And then, you know, in startups, you're getting him in the fifth or sixth round, you know, right around these other guys,
36:21like James cook is going, like James cook is going probably a full round, maybe even around and a half earlier than
36:28Kenneth Walker and getting around and a half discount.
36:31What seemingly could be similar production of next year seems like a really good bet.
36:35And I think Kenneth Walker is younger than James cook to buy a year, maybe two even.
36:41So I agree with Kenneth Walker there. I'm going to move on to my number 10 here, or should we, should we pause and talk about Jonathan Taylor?
36:49It feels weird to talk about him at where you have him.
36:53Yeah. Well, I was going to say what, you know, your case for where you, um, you know, talk a little bit
37:00about Jonathan Taylor and then I'll bounce in with what my thoughts are there.
37:04But, um, yeah. What like Jonathan Taylor at what you have him seven, right?
37:09Seven. Right. Yeah. I mean, he's, he's young enough, right?
37:1227 to where that's like, honestly, I feel like we need to look at like, do a deep dive here on like
37:19what the new age apex is for a lot of these positions.
37:23Cause it feels like it's getting pushed older and older.
37:26And maybe it's just these last couple of years that have skewed things because Derek Henry is immortal and Christian McCaffrey just defies all odds of everything.
37:34Right. And then on top of that, you have, you know, other older guys that have been producing as well.
37:41Like, like Jonathan Taylor being one of them or, or Saquon Barkley having the year that he had two years ago, but
37:48Jonathan Taylor being 27, having in on his, his, um, where am I going with this resume to, to top, I want to say top three seasons.
37:56And when he was a second year, I'm pretty sure he was a running back one.
38:01And then last year, running back to running back two.
38:04So two top two seasons out of his five years in the league.
38:08Why would I, why would I doubt that? Right.
38:11He's, he's 27. If he were 26, 25, he'd easily be number three or number four in this list.
38:17So it's really only the age that's bringing him down, but I still think he's probably got another year, two years left
38:24where he could compete at a really high level.
38:27So it feels weird to drop him any lower than that.
38:30Not only that, but he has like pass catching upside on top of like an explosive profile where he can just take
38:37any run to the house at any moment. I think it's going to get off to a slow start here, especially if
38:44Daniel Jones doesn't start with, with the offense here, but we saw what Jonathan Taylor's role was in a Daniel Jones led offense.
38:51And I don't know if you guys forgot about how good Jonathan Taylor was last year, but just go back and look at that stat box.
38:59Like he was setting the pace to just smash every single fantasy record.
39:04There probably was outside of that. So it was, it was really, really fun.
39:08The having him early last season. So give me your case on why you have him down at 11.
39:14Yeah. I mean the, some of the guys in between him and, and, and where you have him are kind of just
39:21guys that I'm still projecting just in the next couple of years, but I mean, Jonathan Taylor could definitely be the, the
39:28biggest like flop on my list in terms of where I have him ranked.
39:32I definitely, he's, he definitely has the easiest potential to make it look bad.
39:37I'm just very worried about one, his age. And then also to his situation with Daniel Jones, like that, that thing, like
39:43you said, when Daniel Jones was there, it was magnificent.
39:47He was, you know, 30 point games. It was wild.
39:50But as soon as Daniel Jones went down, that thing fell off a cliff and they didn't really do anything to adjust to that.
39:57Right. Like they, I think what the young quarterback they had wants to get traded.
40:02And then they still have Riley Leonard, right? Like they didn't really do anything, but we've seen what happens to some of
40:09these quarterbacks when they're a bit older, obviously Daniel Jones isn't as old as Kirk cousins when he tore his Achilles, but
40:16that's not an easy injury to come back from.
40:19And it was pretty late in the season. So, I mean, if he's there at the beginning of the season, I think that would be somewhat surprising.
40:27Um, but then let's see how he plays. Right.
40:30I, it definitely is not in really anything about Jonathan Taylor ability, but we are, um, I'm just more so trying to
40:37predict and jump out before the bottom falls out.
40:40Now, like you said, maybe Jonathan Taylor is in the level of a sake one in the level of Christian McCaffrey, Derek
40:47Henry, those guys that like, Hey, we're approaching 28, 29.
40:50I don't really care. I'm still going to continue to perform.
40:53I'm still going to be, continue to be a top upset.
40:57Damn. Or 23, 25 year olds be damn. Like I'm, I'm still a top running back.
41:02So I definitely think that he is, could easily be the guy that, um, makes me, you know, my list look really
41:09bad at the end of the year. We revisited halfway through the season or whatever, um, because of his ability.
41:15I'm just, uh, I'm pretty freaked out by everything else going on there.
41:19Yeah, no, I get it. That's fair. Honestly, like the fact that they haven't added another quarterback of, you know, veteran presence,
41:26makes me think that they believe Daniel Jones will be back for the start of this season.
41:31And it probably won't be a hundred percent, but even if he's not a hundred percent, like, doesn't that just mean better things for Jonathan Taylor?
41:39I guess they could just stack the box, right.
41:42And, you know, like dare Daniel Jones to kind of throw the ball, but because they know he's not going to be running it.
41:50I don't know. We'll see. I think, I think it's an interesting, uh, storyline to kind of play here into it.
41:56Okay. Let's talk about, go re-review our top eight and we'll take a quick break and then come back and talk about
42:03our last seven on the other side of the break.
42:06So go ahead and lead off with your top eight here.
42:10Yeah. So I got Gibbs at one, Bijan Robinson, number two, Ashton Gentry, number three, Jeremiah Love, number four, James Cook, number
42:17five, Omari Hampton, number six, Devon HN at number seven, and, uh, Kenneth Walker at number eight.
42:22And for me, I have Gibbs, Bijan, and Hampton at one, two, three.
42:26Then I go Gentry, Love, HN for four, five, six.
42:29Then I go Jonathan Taylor and James Cook for my seven and eight.
42:33And with that, we'll catch you guys on the other side to wrap up the last of our top 15.

43:29Know your sleep score with Apple Watch. iPhone 11 or later required.
43:33All right. Welcome back. Jose, who do you got at number nine here?
43:37Because we haven't brought up his name yet. No, we have not.
43:41And it's kind of a shame because really the talent says top three in the NFL, if not one.
43:47But that's your birth certificate is what makes you say tread carefully.
43:51Absolutely. We're talking about a good old Christian McCaffrey.
43:54We all know what he is, right? We all know if he's healthy, if he's playing 17 games, you know, no matter
44:00what Kyle Shanahan says, we need to get this guy off.
44:04It doesn't matter. CMC is just too good. The offense depends on him way too much.
44:09That if he's healthy, he's going to get the touches.
44:12Obviously, we saw what happened with Saquon after he had as many touches as he had two years ago, the decline.
44:19And that's why Christian McCaffrey is down here at nine for me.
44:22But I think if you're trying to win now, is there a, maybe I'm the most volatile, but the player that could
44:29win you the championship in the next two years, other than Christian McCaffrey on any of this list.
44:35I don't, I really don't think there is anybody that has, I guess, besides the two top three guys, maybe two top
44:42two guys, but I don't, you know, you're not getting them for the price that you're getting Christian McCaffrey.
44:48It's either going to continue to go well for the next two seasons, or he's probably not even on a top 15 list next year.
44:56Right? Like if some, something happens, if it is one of the injury years and he only plays like eight, 10 games,
45:03he's probably not even on a top 15 list next year.
45:06But if he does play, he's probably performing at a top five level.
45:10Right? I mean, that's just, it's unmatched production in history.
45:13And it's, you know, can he be father time?
45:16That's, that's all your, that's the equation that you're playing here.
45:20Like, can he do what others have not been able to do and continue to perform at a pace and that skill
45:27set and level when he's entering what, 30 years old now, 31.
45:30Right. I don't know exactly when his birthday is 30.
45:33So. Yeah. It's age 29 season for him last season.
45:37I'm going to go ahead and lay down the bear argument here because I have him at number 15.
45:43And that was, that was tough to put him there, to be honest, but we saw a dip in efficiency from him in rushing in this past year.
45:51He really made his living on receptions. He led the team in receptions with 102 receptions, 924 receiving yards, 311 rushing attempts
45:58for 1200 rushing yards, 3.9 per carry. Not, not bad, right?
46:023.9 is a very respectable number, but not what we're used to seeing from Christian McCaffrey.
46:072024 was the injury season, but 2023, we saw him have 5.4 yards per carry, 4.7, 4.5, 4.8.
46:12Like 3.9 was definitely one of the lower ones that we've seen from him.
46:17And I'll let you know that showed up. I'm an, I'm an iron fan.
46:21I watched the games. It was the explosiveness was not there.
46:25You guys, he was getting the yardage he needed and he was getting caught and going down.
46:30So, even if he does stay healthy and play, he's going to need to have crazy efficient targeting again to be that kind of guy.
46:38And I think that's not realistic. The way that the 49ers season bounced last year with all of the injuries to Kittle,
46:45to Pearsall, Ayuk, yes, Ayuk was still a 49er last year.
46:48They needed somebody to play and be the playmaker.
46:51And it was Christian McCaffrey. And I think that was kind of the joke last year, right?
46:56Is he was, you know, just sucking the life force out of all these other guys so that he could be that dominant guy.
47:04I just, I don't know. He's going to need to return to the efficiency that he, we've seen him be in his
47:11younger years, or he's going to need to have that crazy high target share again.
47:16I think a realistic finish for Christian McCaffrey is probably like a low end RB one.
47:21I don't think he's going to be the reason you win your league, even if he does stay healthy.
47:27And on top of that, he's 30 years old.
47:29Like in many, in many cases, all the guys that I have above him, I'm going to want on my team.
47:36The only reason I want Christian McCaffrey on my team is if I have just, sold out and I have no other reason to win.
47:44Like, I mean, I, sorry, I have no other option, but to win this year, Christian McCaffrey is at best filling a flex spot for me.
47:52I don't want to count on him as my RB one or my RB two.
47:57I want him in my flex because I just, I think the, the realistic production that we're going to get from him
48:04in this year is going to be a lot lower than what we've seen from Christian McCaffrey in years past.
48:10That pains me to say, man, yeah. I mean, and all I say is that sounds like a, a, a record on
48:17repeat from either last year or from when Derek Henry, like it just feels like he's, you know, he's still the guy.
48:24I don't, the 49ers haven't done a ton to change their offense.
48:28Right. Kill is going to enter injured. They drafted a running back and a wide receiver, you know, pretty, um, um, later on.
48:35They're not, you know, top prospects. So it just feels like if the 49ers are going to be successful, they're going to need him again.
48:43And, you know, then I feel like history is not going to repeat.
48:47So it's hard for him to see that many targets, but, um, you know, I believe in Kyle Shanahan and I believe in Christian McCaffrey.
48:55So, uh, but yeah, I mean, this is this, him and Jonathan Taylor, kind of the two sides of the coin where.
49:01Yeah. Two sides, two sides. Sorry. You froze there for a second.
49:05I was just taking over. Yeah. Like two sides of the same coin where it's like Christian McCaffrey could be the guy
49:12whose wheels fall off and, you know, is, um, useless or like not nearly as good as you thought.
49:18And Jonathan Taylor continues or Jonathan Taylor, you know, uh, I'm kind of just predicting the opposites for, for them.
49:24Um, but moving on at number 10, um, I have Saquon Barkley who, you know, we've been talking a lot about kind
49:31of, uh, returning to, um, form after a, you know, kind of down the year last year.
49:37I think he's going to still carry teams fan, uh, fantasy teams week to week.
49:41Um, the Valley is naturally declining because of his age.
49:44Um, but you know, he's still a top end running back.
49:48He still has the talent. Um, yeah. And you know, he's still the, my go-to for as a contender to, to be acquiring for the next two years.
49:57So I hate where I have Saquon Barkley. I haven't met 14 guys.
50:01And honestly, I don't know what I'm doing here.
50:04Um, I think, I think what it was is like the guys, I wanted to push the other guys above them just
50:11because in, in most scenarios, I want chase Brown, Kim Scatterboot.
50:14And honestly, even Brees Hall above him, we haven't even talked about my 10, 11, 12, 13, or 14 here because these
50:21guys that, that Jose has, I just have a lot lower.
50:24I love Saquon Barkley. I drafted the crap out of Saquon Barkley in startups this year.
50:29I think I took him in like three different startups.
50:33I already have them in two other teams. So I have quite a bit of Saquon Barkley, I believe in the bounce
50:39back this season, but the real, the realism of it all is that he's still 29.
50:44You know, he's what Christian McCaffrey was last year.
50:47And I don't know, I believe in the bounce back season, but the age just hasn't pushing down.
50:53I want Quinchan Judkins far above Saquon Barkley, who I have at number 10.
50:57Where do you, you don't even have Judkins on this list.
51:01Is that right? You know what? I might've done a J.
51:04J. I left him out. You left him out.
51:07I think he, I think he was when I was looking at it, I think he was supposed to be 15th and
51:14I was fighting with myself back and forth between him and Henderson.
51:18And I think I ended up putting Henderson, but yeah, he'd probably be towards the end of the list.
51:24For me as I, as I saw it. I see for me, I'm putting them up there.
51:29Like I really believe, I love what we saw from Quinchan Judkins last year.
51:34And that was with an already terrible team. So it can only get better for him.
51:39They, they upgraded the line. One of their offensive linemen actually retired.
51:42So that's kind of not great for him, but I guess he was a free agent anyway.
51:48I don't know. Regardless, I want Quinchan Judkins. He's young.
51:51He's violent. He's good. He can catch the ball.
51:54We've seen it. Put him on my team. He's at number 10 behind Kenneth Walker at number nine.
51:59Let's talk about Brees Hall here for a second.
52:02I have him at number 11. I just think Brees Hall is really good.
52:06And I think that he's flying under the radar right now because of his situation that we've seen just not be great for him in general.
52:15He did get a contract. So he is stuck on the jets here for the next three years.
52:20I think it was three years, 45 million. Not great, but I think, I think there's hope for the offense to kind of trend up here.
52:28I don't necessarily think Geno Smith is the answer for their future, but I think it's going to be good enough where
52:35Brees Hall will have a productive season this year.
52:38And, you know, maybe the jets have a high enough pick next year where they can get one of these top end
52:45quarterbacks and really be the glue piece for this offense that they've been putting together here.
52:50Where do you have Brees Hall? Yeah, I have him at 13.
52:54So not too far down. As we've been talking about, I mean, for all off season, we were saying, Hey, like he's a perfect by low.
53:02I still think that because the talent is not like it's gone.
53:06I mean, the, the years of Brees Hall being up there with the Gibbs and the Bichons and a top five dynasty
53:13running back, you know, it seems like they were so long ago, but it was only a couple of years ago, but
53:20you know, those times are long gone. It's, and it's not because of necessarily because of him, but just what we saw
53:27last year, Braylon Allen is still there. You know, the offense is going to change again.
53:32So we'll see what that brings for him, but just the ineptitude of the jets offense and how bad that's been.
53:38Just, you know, it's a weight that he unfortunately has to run with every single play and it doesn't help his, you
53:45know, his market value in that sense. Yeah. Honestly, like the one thing that I'm worried about with Brees Hall is, I
53:52don't know if many people remember, but to start the season last year, Braylon Allen was really involved until he, I think
53:59he tore his ACL and was out for the season.
54:02That's the one thing that I'm worried about because it's the same head coach.
54:07It's a different offensive coordinator, but if Braylon Allen comes in and has a similar snapshot here where it was like 30, 40%, something crazy like that.
54:15And I think he even had like the goal line role too, which was like the real dagger to the heart here for Brees Hall managers.
54:23That's the one thing I'm really worried about here.
54:26But the fact that they gave him a big contract here, I'm just going to lean into that and that he's going to be the guy going forward.
54:35He's still really good. I'm just going to bet on talent here.
54:39Yeah. I think that makes a lot of sense.
54:41I mean, we're not too far apart from there.
54:44So, you know, I had like, we already talked about Jonathan Taylor.
54:48I have him at 11 moving on. I have Chase Brown at number 12.
54:52I think he was like a waiver wire darling, right?
54:56We all remember the days of like picking him up and now he's a building block.
55:01I think he's a guy that every fantasy season, people get worried about what's going to happen in the NFL draft.
55:07And he kind of just continues to, you know, survive the NFL draft.
55:11The Bengals go other, you know, look other ways, other places.
55:15And they should, because he's a very talented, very good running back.
55:18He showed it last year. And when Joe Burrow's there playing with him, it kind of just, as it should boost everybody
55:25on the offense, but it looked like towards the end of the season there, they kind of found the really good rhythm between each other.
55:33They were, you know, it seemed more so than it had in any other point where Joe Burrow was finding Chase Brown
55:40and Chase Brown was, you know, really capitalizing on those extra passes and the extra attempts that he was getting.
55:46So I think he's just, you know, attached to Joe Burrow.
55:50He doesn't have the high end ceiling. I think like some of these other guys does, but he's very solid for the next several years.
55:58I mean, it just, every time he just, when NFL drafts comes along, you're holding your breath, hoping that they don't pick
56:05a running back early, but that's about all that there is with Chase Brown in terms of, like his downside.
56:11Yeah. I mean, their offense is kind of set up, right?
56:14I mean, they don't, I think they're fine with Chase Brown.
56:18I think the only reason they'd want to move on with him is if he had a down season, but he's yet
56:25to have that and their defense is still trash.
56:28So they need to be investing in that into the future because their offense is, is, I mean, they gave T Higgins the contract.
56:35Jamar Chase has a contract. Joe Burrow. Like they are set at some point, Chase Brown is going to need a contract
56:42and, and that bag's going to come ringing. So that'll be an interesting day when we get there.
56:48Maybe that's the out that no one is talking about here for, for Chase Brown, right?
56:53He'd never got a contract, right? He's still, he's still chilling on his rookie one.
56:57Is that right? Let me double check. Yeah. Double check that because I think that's an important piece of information here that
57:04we should be looking forward at for him. But I mean, yeah, he's been really good.
57:09Joe Burrow has been finding him as his, his check down target.
57:13And he's been kind of winning not only in the receiving game, but also just kind of making explosive plays happen here.
57:20Yeah. He's still on his rookie contract. So he's technically a free agent next year, next 20 years of free agency.
57:27So yeah, no, that, that, that bag is coming ringing very quickly.
57:30If they can afford it, we'll have to look at that cast face.
57:35We'll, we'll check back with you guys on, on that one because I mean, paying T Higgins, Jamar Chase and Joe Burrow
57:41that they can't have a ton of money left.
57:44Maybe that's why they got rid of Trey Hendricks in here.
57:48So. Okay. Let's move on. So let's talk about the, the two guys that I've included that you, that you haven't included and then vice versa here.
57:56Right. So I have. Cam Scadaboo. Number 12. And then I also had quinch on Judkins at number 10.
58:02I've laid out my argument for cam Scadaboo. I think he's really good.
58:06I think he's, he's all, that's another camp pipe that we haven't.
58:10Didn't talk about there is, you know, he's looking really good running, catching passes.
58:14The dude is a maniac. He's going to be good at football.
58:18You just need to make sure he's on your team.
58:21He's a value at where you're getting him. I like cam Scadaboo on my teams here.
58:26You didn't include him on your list. You, instead you have Javante Williams and Travion Henderson.
58:31So go ahead. And you have them at 14 and 15.
58:35So the last two on the list, but go ahead and lay out your argument here.
58:40Why you have those two. Are you just being a homer?
58:43Which of onto. I mean, I just, I just, I just think he has more opportunity.
58:48He's more set up to succeed than a cam Scadaboo is.
58:52I, but to be fair, I do have Judkins in right there with Henderson at 15.
58:57I think if I were to just revise, it probably be Judkins at 15.
59:01I just like these guys outlook for the next couple of years better.
59:05But I think right after chase Brown for the list, for me, it became a very, very like tight group of players
59:12where you have Javante, you have Judkins, you have Trayvon Henderson guys.
59:16We haven't mentioned who are not on either of us lists.
59:19And cam Scadaboo is kind of all in there.
59:22Like there's a very big group of borderline running back ones, borderline, you know, top end running back twos who all could
59:29pop in, into that, you know, more prominent running back one role.
59:33And I just had a couple of these guys who I just believe in more like Javante Williams.
59:39And Judkins. So yeah, Javante, I had a 14.
59:41Brees Hall for me was at 13. And then yeah, Judkins at 15.
59:46It's kind of just one of those things that like preferences.
59:49I feel like I think it's splitting here. It's kind of like at the top of the, of our rankings between, you know, if somebody had B.
59:57John Robinson over Gibbs, I could really understand that that that's not something crazy to me.
60:02It's just, who do you prefer? And how do you see the touches and the offense is going?
60:08I think the Cowboys still project to be one of the top offenses, especially for fantasy and Javante, you know, until he
60:15started getting hurt, Malik Davis was not even a question.
60:18I will say though, if, if you're out there and I see, I mean, I think for the last week, Malik Davis
60:25has been like the top add on sleeper. So I don't know if, you know, but if he's out there on your
60:32waivers, he's definitely pretty much secured himself. The second role be behind Javante.
60:36I mean, things could change in camp, but right now that's what it's looking like.
60:41And if, you know, if you could get him thrown into, you know, any trades, I would definitely be looking to do that.
60:48I think he's, he's a pretty good handcuff. I think the Cowboys would lean on him.
60:53Like they did when Javante got hurt towards the end of the season.
60:57But that's kind of a side. Yeah. I mean, maybe it is Homerism.
61:01I just, I think we've seen what Javante is supposed to be.
61:05Right. We, we kind of talked about it with Shev on the previous episode.
61:09The recovery period is not behind them. And I think people haven't necessarily caught up to what he's, you know, back to
61:16the explosive running that he was showing in his early in his career.
61:20And at his cost, I think you're buying upside rather than certainty, but it's a lot cheaper, right?
61:26Like Javante could easily finish as a very solid running back one.
61:30Like he was doing last year. And he doesn't cost pretty much nearly as much as anybody on this list.
61:36Right. He's probably maybe with Scadaboo, the cheapest option.
61:39Cheaper than Scadaboo. So I've been buying him for late 26 firsts, wherever I can, like the 109 to the 112.
61:46I've done that a few times. I've teared off a couple, you know, higher end guys that we have on the list
61:52down to Javante to gain extra either picks or players.
61:56So he's 25, right? Yeah. Yeah. He seems like he should be older, but he came in really, really young and he
62:0326 actually, but you know, he's still very young for like compared to some of the guys that have way above him, right?
62:10Like McCaffrey, Saquon, et cetera, et cetera. Yeah. No, it's fair.
62:13I get what you're saying, right? Our list at 15 ends inside of a bigger tier or cluster of players for you.
62:20And so you having to pick which three of those guys goes at the top of that tier for you, you're just picking your favorite ones.
62:28So leaving out Judkins or sorry, did you say you had Judkins at 15?
62:33Is that what you're saying? Yeah. Him and Hendo were just kind of like right there, like 15, a 15 B, but
62:40they probably, if I had to pick right now and you made me trade for one, it would be Judkins.
62:46So I'd prefer, you know, I'd mentioned him as my 15.
62:49Yeah, that's fair. Yeah. Yeah. And like, like you said, you also had, um, kind of scatter boo there, like all of
62:56them just kind of chilling there and tear together.
62:59So it's just a victim of that number 15, um, of them being discluded there.
63:04And yeah, I don't hate the Javante call out.
63:07Like, I think I have him at number 17 in my rankings here.
63:11Cause I did go to 20. Just to kind of see what it looked like beyond it.
63:16I felt weird leaving out some of these guys like Henderson, Javante Williams, Kyron Williams, Travis H and Derek Henry.
63:22So those are my, uh, 16 through 20 there as a little sneak peek, but yeah, I really liked that call out
63:29of what, what you were saying about Malik Davis.
63:32Is that who it is? Yeah. Yeah. That's the backup.
63:35Yeah. And those are exactly the same names that I was kind of shuffling through in terms of like, who should be that 15th player.
63:43I mean, not naming some of those guys on a running back list, feels a little bit weird, like you're saying, but
63:50I think they're, they're the most honorable mentions. Um, but I mean, if you had to like closing out the show, I
63:57don't, unless there was any specific more person, you know, you want to talk in depth about, um, I think, I think Jenti is probably the easiest.
64:05So maybe another name besides that is Hampton. The guy that you think most clearly when we're doing this list next year
64:12is going to be able to be ranked right there with Bijan and Gibbs.
64:17Or do you think there's anybody on this list that can come close and, and even challenge for the one or two spot after a season?
64:25Ooh, that's a good question. It's, it's weird to think that H on H and with as high as the ceiling that
64:32he has, it doesn't, it doesn't feel like he could, like he could, like, because it's like, he's been doing it and he just hasn't gotten there already.
64:41I would say like Jenti or Hampton would be the two that I would, I would put in there.
64:47And like, as like a dark horse, like lightweight Kenneth Walker, like I could see a path for that happening.
64:53Like if he has like a top five season with, with, uh, the chiefs, like I could definitely see him getting thrust up there into, into those.
65:01Yeah. I think those are exactly the guys I would call out.
65:05It feels bad for H and I mean, I guess the only thing that could happen is, is a trade, which we've heard rumored before.
65:13So like, you know, right after the contract that they gave him.
65:17Yeah. It's possible. I guess. Yeah. It's just, it's so weird to me, some of these teams, like, like the jets and
65:24like the, um, the dolphins who are trying to tank it, but I guess they're thinking that they're locking the running back down now.
65:31And that's who they're building around into the future with the quarterback.
65:35It just seems a little bit, um, as backwards, but I, you know, obviously I'm not a GM, but one more.
65:42Travion Henderson, dude. Uh, man, he's got an HOA problem.
65:45We don't need to revisit this, but the hand, the hand, the hand, the hand, the hand was running.
65:51And then we got to the playoffs. I don't know.
65:54I don't know. I don't know what it says.
65:57Maybe they look at how badly they played in the playoffs, how bad the offense was.
66:02And are like, we got to get Ramondre, but it just, it just feels like Dan Campbell is, you know, I don't
66:09know if Ramondre Stevenson's middle name is Rossini. I don't know what, but like people, they love, like they love Stevenson.
66:15I, they do. He's 28, but his contract, everything, you know, like he just never went away.
66:20Right. Like it's, it's crazy. And I don't, even when Ramondre was fumbling, I mean, we talked about it all last year.
66:27We don't need to rehash it, but it just sucks that he's still there.
66:32And I think he's still going to be there through next year.
66:36And nothing happens. I don't, I don't disagree. But if, if he has a season ending season ending injury, that could be
