A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury14:06

AJ Brown is dealing with an ankle injury that may sideline him for up to six games.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection29:33

Drew Locke observed that CJ Stroud looked significantly more confident in week one compared to the end of last season. Locke believes that if Stroud maintains this level of play, it elevates the fantasy outlook for the entire Texans offense, including David Montgomery and Nico Collins.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection19:47

Drew Locke believes Caleb Williams is on a crash course to become the QB1 in dynasty, citing his elite ability to evade pressure, keep eyes downfield, and his rushing production. While Locke previously viewed Williams' dynasty value as overinflated due to accuracy concerns, his week one performance (over 70% completion) and physical tools have shifted his stance. Locke prefers Williams over Drake Maye due to superior evasiveness and the high-scoring potential of the Bears' offense under Ben Johnson.

Insight page
PositiveProjection32:22

Despite previous concerns about his dynasty value and completion percentage, Drew Locke believes Caleb Williams will finish as the QB1 after this season.

Insight page

Cam Ward

PositiveProjection64:54

Drew Locke maintains belief in Cam Ward as the Titans' long-term quarterback, projecting him to be a serviceable fantasy QB2. Locke notes that while the team's start has been poor, Ward possesses the talent and 'magiciany' playstyle to succeed under Brian Daboll, provided the team utilizes quick, easy targets like Wan'Dale Robinson to settle him down.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeBreakout42:42

Christian Watson showed explosive potential and efficiency in Week 1, including an 81-yard touchdown. While he remains a volatile asset with a history of injuries, he is currently the most exciting wide receiver in the Packers' offense. He is a hold for fantasy managers, though he carries some risk of inconsistent weekly production.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeUsage21:53

Despite a zero-point performance in week one, Drew Locke advises against panicking on Colson Loveland. Loveland led the Bears with an 84% route participation rate, indicating the usage is there even if the production wasn't. Locke views the week one output as an outlier and expects targets to shift back toward Loveland as the offense stabilizes.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveUsage35:34

Drew Locke views Dalton Kincaid's week one performance (73% snap share, 5 catches, 130 yards) as a sign of a positive trend. Locke believes Kincaid is the most talented positional player on the Bills offense outside of Josh Allen and James Cook. While injuries have historically hindered him, Locke suggests that if Kincaid stays healthy, he is climbing back into the elite tier of tight ends.

Insight page
NegativeValue38:48

Dalton Kincaid is a hold in most formats, especially in tight end premium leagues where his usage is highly valuable. While he is a potential sell-high candidate to tier up to preferred players like Tucker Kraft, he is not a player to move for low-value assets like a 2027 second-round pick; he is only worth moving if a mid-first-round pick is offered.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveValue26:59

Drew Locke argues that David Montgomery is worth a 2028 first-round pick for contending teams. Despite efficiency concerns, Montgomery dominated the backfield with 20 carries and three total touchdowns. Locke emphasizes that Montgomery has less 'tread on the tires' than other veteran backs because he spent years as a secondary option, making him a viable long-term contributor.

Insight page

David Njoku

PositiveUsage9:58

David Njoku saw an 18% target share and is considered a startable fantasy asset for the time being.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveUsage18:25

Deebo Samuel is an interesting fantasy asset for the foreseeable future with increased usage expected due to injuries in the receiving corps; he is viewed as a flex or WR3 option.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveUsage5:47

Derrick Henry is seeing heavy usage and remains a focal point of the Ravens' offense, with Drew Locke noting that age is not currently a factor for him.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

NegativeDepth Chart42:18

Dontayvion Wicks is part of the core Packers receiving group alongside Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Tucker Kraft, though he is currently behind others in the pecking order.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection47:59

Drake London is a non-starter for fantasy lineups while Cooper Rush is the quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. If better options are available, he should be benched, though he remains a 'start your studs' candidate if no viable alternatives exist.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

PositiveUsage15:30

Hunter Henry is expected to see an uptick in targets and serve as a safety blanket for Drake Maye with AJ Brown sidelined.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveBreakout52:01

Isaiah Likely is a top-10 tight end finisher after an encouraging Week 1 performance. While cracking the top six is difficult, his trajectory is positive, and he is a recommended Week 2 starter. He can be held, but is a viable trade piece if it allows a manager to tier up to an elite player like George Kittle.

Insight page

Jakobi Meyers

PositiveUsage12:07

Jakobi Meyers is a recommended flex start for the upcoming week after showing involvement and catching a touchdown pass in Week 1.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

NegativeRole46:25

Jayden Reed is a hold for now because his trade value is likely depressed after a poor Week 1 performance, but he is difficult to trust consistently. With the emergence of Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks, plus the return of Tucker Kraft, Reed risks becoming the odd man out in the Packers' offense.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeProjection8:56

Drew Locke does not expect Jordan Addison to be a fantasy factor while Carson Wentz is the starting quarterback.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection10:41

Justin Herbert looked confused in the Chargers' Week 1 performance, leading to disappointment regarding the team's offensive outlook.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection7:30

Justin Jefferson remains a must-start asset regardless of the quarterback situation in Minnesota.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveValue21:53

Drew Locke views Khalif Raymond's 31% target share in week one as an unsustainable anomaly. Locke recommends selling Raymond for a fourth-round pick if possible, noting that his role is likely to diminish as the team's primary weapons like Loveland and Odunze see more consistent opportunity.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection47:59

Similar to Drake London, Kyle Pitts is a non-starter for fantasy lineups while Cooper Rush is the quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons.

Insight page
NegativeUsage64:12

Drew Locke acknowledges that he would still start Kyle Pitts over Mike Gesicki in his lineup for the upcoming week, despite the recent surge in production from Gesicki.

Insight page

Kyle Williams

PositiveDepth Chart15:03

Kyle Williams is expected to step into the X-receiver role while AJ Brown is out, making him a potential buy-low target in dynasty leagues.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeInjury7:16

Kyler Murray suffered a concussion and is expected to miss at least a second game.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveProjection5:52

Drew Locke expects Mark Andrews to perform as a TE1 over the next few weeks while Zay Flowers is sidelined, despite a disappointing Week 1.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeUsage47:23

Marshawn Lloyd's Week 1 performance was disappointing, recording 13 carries for only 37 yards with zero catches. The Packers' backfield situation is described as a 'disgusting mess' and is currently a situation to avoid.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

PositiveValue61:58

Drew Locke identifies Mike Gesicki as a high-value streaming option, noting that he is widely available on waiver wires. Following a 5-catch, 78-yard, 1-touchdown performance, Locke suggests Gesicki is a viable start in tight end premium leagues and a potential flex option in two-point tight end formats, especially while the Bengals' offense is moving the ball.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveBreakout11:53

Parker Washington is a strong flex option and potential top-20 fantasy receiver following a productive Week 1 performance where he recorded 5 catches for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveUsage9:58

Quentin Johnston saw an 18% target share and is viewed as a startable asset in the Chargers' rotation.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveBreakout24:11

Drew Locke remains a strong believer in Rome Odunze despite a limited 55% route participation in week one, which was attributed to a late-camp injury scare. Locke highlights a 47-yard contested catch as evidence of Odunze's physical upside and expects his route share to increase as he gets healthier.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveValue15:45

Despite a poor Week 1 performance, Romeo Doubs is a buy-the-dip candidate because he is a paid starter with no other choice but to receive targets in the Patriots' offense.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeInjury13:45

Sam Darnold is expected to miss a couple of weeks due to injury, with multiple second opinions suggesting a concerning situation.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveValue69:15

Drew Locke suggests that Tony Pollard is a strong 'buy-low' candidate in dynasty leagues following a quiet Week 1 performance. Locke attributes the lack of production to the Titans' limited offensive volume (49 plays) and suggests that managers looking for running back depth should attempt to acquire him for a couple of third-round picks.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveUsage9:58

Trey Harris saw a 22% target share and is considered a startable asset for the Chargers while other receivers are dealing with injuries.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection24:16

Trevor Lawrence showed high efficiency in Week 1, completing 18 of 23 passes for 245 yards and 4 touchdowns, seemingly putting past narratives about his starting status to rest.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveUsage65:40

Drew Locke views Wan'Dale Robinson as a key component for the Titans' offense, specifically as a safety valve to help stabilize Cam Ward. Locke expected Robinson to lead the team in targets and receptions, advocating for a scheme that prioritizes getting the ball into his hands quickly.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury5:00

Zay Flowers is potentially going to miss the next week of play due to an injury sustained after a strong Week 1 performance of 5 catches for 150 yards.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout57:25

Zay Flowers is a no-brainer plug-and-play wide receiver after a dominant Week 1 performance where he recorded five catches for 150 yards and a touchdown in the first half. He has the potential to be a consistent WR1 and offers league-winning upside.

Insight page
PositiveUsage59:26

Drew Locke highlights Zay Flowers as a must-start player who should command a high target percentage. Despite concerns about health and touchdown variance, Locke emphasizes that the Ravens' new coordinator, Declan Doyle, is effectively getting the ball into Flowers' hands in motion to maximize his skills. Locke argues that Flowers belongs in the conversation with top-tier wide receivers for lineup decisions, even over established veterans.

0:50What is good. We're back. And we have week one almost totally in the books.
0:54We have one more to go tonight. By the time you're seeing this, it'll probably be off and running.
1:00We've got Chiefs and Broncos tonight of course, but we're back with week one.
1:04We got Stan. How you doing, man? We're excited to have you in for the season.
1:08Hey, I'm happy to be here, man. I'm just so glad we got football back on our TVs.
1:13got my Seattle Seahawks coming out with a W week one, kicking us off, even with Drew Locke stepping in at the backup position.
1:20So, you know, I think it's going to take a lot to take me down right now.
1:25Yeah. Well, it was sure was nice watching Sunday with I'm a Niners guy.
1:29You're a Seahawks guy, both teams with W's just sitting around watching everybody else scramble around, worry about injuries.
1:35But it was nice getting an early dub there, but onto week two for those teams.
1:39And so we're going to go through, we've got a good show for you.
1:43We're going to do a little injury report. Then we're going to talk a little buy, sell fact, fiction, panic, not panic,
1:50kind of however you want to frame it. And then we'll end with a little bit of rookie and second year talk,
1:56as well as kind of some backfield ambiguity or backfield usage, if you will.
2:00So packed show today, we're going to try to keep it moving, keep running through it.
2:05And again, we've got Stan from a dynasty price check joining us all season long.
2:09Right. Hell yeah, man. Stoked to be here. And you know what?
2:12I think we can settle it right now, just on air.
2:16You know, Niners Seahawks, definitely a good rivalry, but I think we can collectively come together against the quote unquote, super team Rams that have already lost.
2:23Miles Garrett are Oh, and one while the Cardinals are wanting to know.
2:27So Casey, you and I are in Alliance for now.
2:30All right. I hope that Seahawks Niners in that NFC championship this year.
2:34All right, my friend, I would, I would, I would very much enjoy that.
2:38You know, it was nice, nice to go in a foreign country week one, play a division rival and win.
2:44And I don't know how the NFL got away with that, but anyway, let's get into the injuries real quick.
2:49We'll try to run through them. I know a lot of you guys already know, but we'll kind of just give our
2:56thoughts on, on what the, you know, how that reverbed through their, their rooms here.
3:00We'll start off with Zay flowers, have half of a game, huge game five for one 50.
3:05We'll talk about Zay a little later. Looks like he is potentially going to miss week next week for the latest report.
3:11I just saw from Schefter. What does that do for this team?
3:15Again, another person on the injury report. We'll just cross him off right now is, is Jacoby lane also injured.
3:20So this is getting thinner and thinner. So how do we see that reverberating around that room there?
3:26Yeah. I mean, it's a serious bummer. I've been a huge Jacoby lane guy and you know, the minute that touchdown got
3:32called back, if anyone was watching, you know, I was sad.
3:35I thought we had the early breakout for Jacoby lane right there.
3:39And now we're going to have to put it on pause for a quick minute.
3:43I think in the immediate case, we got to look at two places.
3:47One, Derek Henry. He ate all over the map this weekend.
3:50Age is not a factor for the King. It seems, but outside of that, I think we got to look at Mark
3:56Andrews, you know, a guy that kind of underperformed in week one by my anticipation.
4:00I was hoping we got some red zone usage from him right out of the gate here.
4:05Back to basics for Lamar, but you know, Zay was going too hard and, and Derek Henry was, was taking all those valuable touches.
4:12Lamar was running everywhere, but hopefully Mark Andrews is a, is a tight end one the next few weeks without Zay flowers in the building.
4:19Yeah. I would skeptically look at, at potentially Tez Walker as being the guy who maybe steps up here, but I wouldn't
4:26be super excited to start any receiver really in that room, unless you absolutely were in shambles already.
4:31But I, Derek Henry and, and the tight end would be the only way I'd want to lean there.
4:36Um, moving on Kyler concussion. Obviously, you know, that, that wasn't great to see.
4:40Uh, looks like he's, I would assume going to miss a second game, but you know, sometimes, you know, we don't wear assumptions land us.
4:48Um, but whence came in there and played fine.
4:50And again, a division rival game and, and at least did what he was supposed to do and fed Justin Jefferson.
4:56Um, as far as that room goes, I mean, you're starting Justin Jefferson next week.
5:01Uh, but would you be comfortable starting anybody else?
5:03If Kyler is not rolling? No, unfortunately not. And for those of you that watch that game, was that just such a weird game?
5:10You had like that one drive that was all penalties, just took the Vikings straight down the field.
5:15And then you had an Aaron Jones touchdown. And then you had a Jordan Mason touchdown in the box score actually looks
5:22pretty stomachable for both those guys, because of that.
5:24But outside of that, their run game was abysmal and I don't really want any part of it.
5:29I didn't want any part of it going into the season.
5:33I don't now. Um, no Casey, I'll keep this one short.
5:36Justin Jefferson. And that's it. I don't think Jordan Edison is going to be a factor with Carson Wentz, uh, on the field.
5:42Yeah. Uh, lad looks like he's going to miss potentially a game or two here, uh, sort of in the flowers, not
5:49going to, maybe not for long, but maybe in the interim, we're going to, we're going to miss a little bit of
5:55time, uh, looking at the kind of the target distribution there.
5:58Um, you know, Trey Harris was at 22% target share, uh, Quinton Johnson, 18, David Njoku, 18.
6:03So it seems like you could kind of just shift downshift, uh, to, to, I'd be fine with playing Trey Harris.
6:09I'm fine with playing Quinton Johnson. Fine. You know, even David Njoku seems like he's going to be a startable asset here for a bit.
6:16Any, anything that you see differently there as far as moving forward with the Chargers rotation?
6:21No, I mean, I'm just really hoping Casey that they get the Raiders next week.
6:25Uh, I I'm hoping the Chargers look like a formidable offense.
6:28I was very disappointed with what I saw from them.
6:31Week one. I know all the hype was behind the new OC hire and, you know, McDaniel comes to town.
6:37Everyone's excited. Wheels up for Hampton. Uh, Justin Herbert looked a little confused.
6:41Uh, Hampton didn't look so great. So, Hey, let's just hope the Chargers can write the ship going into week two.
6:47Yeah. I would say flat would be what, what I would describe the Chargers as.
6:51And sometimes it's, you know, you were way up here.
6:54You got a little humbled. Maybe, maybe this next week, um, they start to figure things out.
6:59But again, I don't, I don't mind starting any of those next, next up guys, much different than the Raven situation.
7:05Uh, I feel there. Um, then we come to BTJ.
7:08Looks like he's going to be okay. They're just going to say non-contact maybe through practice here.
7:13Um, but I think we're firing up Jacoby and Parker Washington if, if, if need be any, which way anyway.
7:19So. Absolutely. I'm with you there. I liked what I saw from Parker Washington for sure.
7:23We'll cover him a little bit in this show, but, Jacoby Myers.
7:27Yeah, absolutely. Expect him to get some involvement here.
7:29You saw him catch the touchdown pass. So, you know, I think, feeling good about flexing Jacoby next week.
7:35Yeah. Some other ones that probably aren't super consequential right now.
7:38We got Omar Cooper with a high ankle. We got Chig with a hamstring.
7:42You know, I don't know that that changes a whole lot of what I was doing with either one of those teams
7:48as far as the commanders or the jets are concerned.
7:51Nope. Nope. Nothing there. Nothing there. I mean, at this point it's, it's all eyes on the Seattle Seahawks going to Arizona
7:57this week, uh, where drew locks can all the, and the Cardinals actually look like, uh, not really too much of a, of a pushover.
8:05So that should be an interesting one. I mean, that being said, I actually don't have too big of a problem, uh, streaming drew lock this week.
8:12If you're super quarterback needy, still gave you 16 points, uh, in a game where the Seahawks didn't even score more than 13 real life points.
8:20So I think, uh, I feel all right about that one, but yeah, it looks like Sam Darnold.
8:25I don't expect him for, for a couple of weeks as well here.
8:29Yeah. It seems like he's, I saw four second opinions on Darnold, which is not, not the best signal, but Hey, let's,
8:35let's get all, let's check all our, uh, down all our eyes and cross all our T's there.
8:40Um, AJ Brown. And when you mentioned Darnold, he's out, um, we had AJ Brown in that same game.
8:46He's got an ankle. He looks like he's going to maybe miss six games.
8:50Uh, we saw Romeo dub really end up with a goose egg there.
8:54How does this affect the Patriots receiving room with AJ Brown out?
8:57Yeah. I mean, the first place we got to look last time I was on this show with you guys, we were
9:03talking about a little bit of Kyle Williams action.
9:06And I think he's going to step in and play a little bit of the X while AJ Brown's out here.
9:12Um, and so maybe you're, you have one final chance here to send some third round picks out and try to bring
9:18Kyle Williams in before you get a real, a good look at him outside of that.
9:23I do think Matt Collins will be worked into the mix a bit here.
9:27Drew, uh, Drake may seems to trust him to some degree.
9:30I think Hunter Henry will get a nice uptick here.
9:33I, we saw him be a safety blanket for may often last year.
9:37And so I think that's, that's one to keep our eyes on from a, from a tight end department.
9:42And then finally, you know, the Romeo Dobbs thing is interesting.
9:45He looked abysmal, right? I mean, he had that drop wide open in space.
9:49He did nothing for you. Put up a goose egg, but what we always got to remember, Casey is this guy, this
9:56man's already been paid and they got no option, but to throw to him now.
10:00So I think if you can buy the dip to some degree, you might get a few flex worthy weeks out of Romeo Dobbs here.
10:07And we, we've seen better days from him in green Bay.
10:10I'm not entirely worried that this is who he is now, but definitely a down game.
10:15Yeah. I think he can come in and give you a wide receiver, two wide receiver, three numbers.
10:20I think we'll see some, some bounce back there for sure.
10:23They played a ton of 11 against Seattle. There's almost, uh, almost 60% of 11 for them.
10:28And pop Douglas was pretty heavily involved. It seemed like, uh, this year who was somebody who I'd consistently been beating the
10:35drum for, and then kind of was like, all right, well, I guess this is done now that we've made all this commotion.
10:41And then they bring in AJ Brown, they bring in Romeo Dobbs.
10:45And all of a sudden pop Douglas, uh, calls some attention.
10:48So a little bit of interesting there if you're really down in the dumps, but probably at this point, we haven't had any crazy significant injuries.
10:55You should be able to get by without playing somebody like a pop Douglas right now.
11:00So, um, and then stripling would probably be the last injury on here to of note.
11:05Uh, he's going to miss at least four games.
11:07It seems, um, as long as Mike Evans is healthy, you're obviously rolling him out, but this, I think this makes Debo very interesting for the foreseeable future.
11:15Before we get back to the show, if you haven't checked out the new crowdsource rankings tool, head over to the FF dynasty.com and get your swipe on.

12:28Gatorade hydrates better than water. Is it in you?
12:31Symptoms noted are signs of mild to moderate dehydration.
12:33Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist. Super interesting.
12:36I mean, he's a guy that I've already, I've already admitted my wrongs here.
12:40I was disrespecting a bit in the off season.
12:43I kind of had written him off as not very productive of a fantasy asset for the future, but he comes in
12:49and gives you over 15 points in week one and looks pretty decent doing it.
12:53Gets some opportunities out of the backfield here. And like you said, with dribbling out, it looks like Debo is going to,
12:59going to get some pretty heavy usage here. So I would say flex opportunity, wide receiver three opportunity for Debo Samuel in the immediate.
13:06Absolutely. Yeah. And he looks, he looks explosive again.
13:09Like he doesn't look like he's stuck in the mud.
13:12He had a good kickoff return. He had a good adjustment on a, on a touchdown catch.
13:17There has some, you know, it's not like he's brand new over there either.
13:21Obviously been with Purdy before. So, um, nice reunion there.
13:24And it looks like it's going to be fun for at least a couple of weeks.
13:28Hopefully those guys can stay healthy. Um, and that can be a, continue to be a fun watch.
13:33Bowers with the meniscus trim potentially back next week, but you know, not, not a whole lot to say there.
13:39Yeah. Yeah. No, just a Michael Myers season in the main, in the meantime.
13:43Yeah. Let's go. All right. Let's jump to the main segment of the show.
13:47Uh, we're calling it factor fiction, but you could be labeling this as a buy sell or, um, panic, not panic, um, overreaction or not overreaction.
13:55So, we got a bunch of questions talking about highlighting all the different things that went on throughout week one.
14:01Obviously we can't touch on every single game, every single thing.
14:04We did a Sunday night recap on the, uh, pleasure chest going through most of the games while watching the game.
14:10So if you haven't go check that out, um, but let's jump into it off the rip here, Stan Parker, Washington will
14:16finish as a wide receiver one this season. I mean, it's hard to say no after what we saw yesterday, right?
14:22I mean, five catches, 83 yards, a tutty looked good doing it.
14:26I mean, that diving catch was definitely something to be a witness to and, and definitely got all the folks that have
14:32been beating the Parker Washington drum up on their feet and chanting on Twitter.
14:36I I've already seen the army go to go to work with their fingers on that app, but I think, uh, I
14:42think, yeah, I, at this point I would be looking at Parker Washington as a top 20 option in fantasy right now.
14:49Uh, I don't know if I'm ready to put them into a top 12 finish conversation, but Hey, Trevor Lawrence was wildly efficient, right?
14:56Absolutely. Wildly efficient. I mean, 18 of 23, 245 yards and four touchdowns.
14:59And for my non math majors out there. Okay.
15:02That's roughly a touchdown. Every six passing attempts that Trevor Lawrence had in that game.
15:06That is incredible. Right? And so when you talk about efficiency, you love what you're seeing out of that.
15:12Now we got to take it with a brain of salt.
15:15Or a grain of salt Casey. Uh, that is, uh, that is the Cleveland Browns we're talking about here and they looked
15:21pretty horrible, but, um, yeah, I think, uh, for now, uh, the Parker Washington believers have some wind behind their sales and
15:28I will lock and load him for a top 20 finish here.
15:31Yeah. I mean, I would, I could, you know, I could, I could be in the, in the ballpark of saying, Hey,
15:37maybe this is even going to be more like a top 12 finish for Parker Washington.
15:42If things remain the same, BTJ already missing a little bit of time.
15:46If we go look at the target share percentages here, obviously week one.
15:49So, you know, a lot of lying going on as far as what we're seeing from these kinds of things in week
15:56one, but 26.1% just almost doubled everybody else on the team, uh, for the Jacksonville Jaguars there.
16:01And, you know, like you said, taking it with a grain of salt of being the Browns just got put back on
16:07their heels and never really recovered from, you know, you think this defense still can be at least an average to above
16:13average defense, but it did not look so week one, or maybe Jacksonville is just picking right up where they left off.
16:20Cause there was a little bit of question of this has been Jacksonville and Jacksonville was synonymous sort of with Cleveland for
16:26a little while, um, as far as organizationally. And now that seems that page has been turned that the, the, uh, narrative
16:32off of Trevor Lawrence has been seemingly put to rest at least for a little while.
16:37Um, cause there was a lot of people saying that, Hey, he might not even be a starter in this league.
16:43Um, and, and here we are, what a performance.
16:46Um, but Parker Washington, somebody who I, I, at this point have to say, like you said, top 20 seems like very, very likely.
16:52Yeah. And top, top 12 seems, um, you know, like a real possibility.
16:56With that being said, and we'll do a whole lot more of market and buy sell week.
17:01One's a tough one. I don't like to move any rankings around or do anything crazy after week one, but if we
17:07were in a buy sell mode for this particular one, cause I think this is a juicy one.
17:13What side of the fence would you just generally land on with Parker Washington?
17:17I think this is a very difficult question because it's a hundred percent league economy dependent and how savvy your league mates are.
17:23Right. Like, I mean, I know we, uh, can laugh at community rankings as much as anybody else.
17:28And I do on a consistent basis, but just for the live look, um, he's currently wide receiver 28 on community rankings,
17:35right now, based off what you and I were just saying, that seems far too low.
17:39So if you can get them at wide receiver 28 prices by, I would say is a pretty confident signal to buy.
17:46Now, if you are a Parker Washington owner, you're either holding or you are using this very encouraging start to launch yourself
17:52upwards, right now, what does Parker Washington and a future first get me?
17:56I think is the question we have to ask.
17:58Right. And if that vaults me into a Drake London range where he had a serious down week.
18:04And we'll talk about that with the, with the fallout in Atlanta right now.
18:08I mean, those are offers that I'm definitely exploring Casey, but that all being said, I think that, uh, I think Parker
18:14Washington is a, is a buy or he's a hold, you know, I wouldn't be selling him for, for anything cheap right now.
18:21Yeah. Right. He's 24 and a half years old right now.
18:24I, on the FFD crowdsource rankings here, we we've got a med wide receiver 27 in super flex tight end premium.
18:30So kind of right there with where you're talking about.
18:33So yeah, I'm kind of with you on that one.
18:36I don't have much to push back on. He looks, he looks the part week one.
18:40We got the outcome we wanted. Um, I can't imagine that he'll stay that far ahead of target share for the rest
18:46of, uh, but I mean, it's, he does seem like he's going to be maybe the guy over there.
18:52I think it'll, it'll balance itself out a little bit more.
18:55Um, but generally he's going to be a, he looks like he's gunning for that number one spot.
19:00Shout out ludicrous. Yeah. I mean, the last thing we have to say on Parker Washington to Casey, I just wanted to
19:07include it was like, you mentioned the game script.
19:09They didn't have to even air the ball out in the second half.
19:13And so it's like, if this is a closer game and the Jags are battling back and forth, I mean, how much
19:19more involvement does Parker Washington get when you need him?
19:22Right. So I think that's an intriguing use case that, right.
19:25Yeah. We'll see how the season rolls. Yeah. And, and to be fair, BTJ did leave, but I mean, if we're this
19:32injury thing has now been sort of constant. So we shall see.
19:35All right. Next one. Uh, we're going to talk bears offense here, but I broke this into a couple of different parts and pieces.
19:42So it wasn't just one long bears conversation. Will Caleb Williams be the QB one after this year?
19:47I think the answer is yes. It pains me to say it too.
19:51Cause I'm not going to, I'm not going to lie.
19:54I'll, I'll own a case. Yeah. I've been a little bit of like Caleb Williams is, uh, a little overinflated dynasty value wise.
20:00Like I didn't love the completion percentage last year.
20:03Um, I still think that, you know, the accuracy department was something to be desired.
20:07Kind of squash that week one, you know, he came out over 70% and he looks good doing it.
20:13And man, his legs are just something right. Like, I mean the, the way he was evading pressure in the pocket and
20:19the way he was keeping his eyes downfield and the way that he kept finding the end zone on the ground was,
20:26uh, something for us fantasy owners to just gawk at.
20:28So I think, um, yeah, he's definitely in the conversation right now to dethrone.
20:32Josh Allen is an entirely different story. So it's just an age thing.
20:36I think in that regard, that's the only reason I like, obviously Josh Allen is still doing what he's doing at a very high level.
20:43Lamar for whatever reason seems to follow the volatility of Lamar.
20:47But if Lamar is Lamar and he is upright, he is, he should be a top two, three Q quarterback in my
20:53opinion, but the age of Caleb Williams and the tidiness of where this offense is heading just seems like we're on a
20:59crash course for Caleb Williams to be QB one, or at least like the case for him.
21:04And what the case that you were making for Drake may to be anywhere near QB one this past year, I don't think is even close to me.
21:12Um, now the legs and then legs, I think are just as good.
21:16If not like, he's a much better evasive quarterback than Drake may is.
21:20I think at this point. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think we don't have to go entirely into the Drake may topic
21:26here, but yes, I think the, the cracks in the armor are showing and Caleb Williams is getting a fresh set of
21:32forged armor putting on him right now with Ben Johnson talking about breaking the offensive scoring records out there and try to
21:39beat out those 2013 Broncos or whatever it is.
21:41So I think, uh, I think, yeah, Caleb Williams, uh, if you, if you own him right now, stocks probably going to keep going up.
21:48Yeah. All right. Um, all right. So let's go to the rest of this bears conversation.
21:53Khalif Raymond seemed to monstars the bears past catching powers here.
21:56Um, and, and mainly pointing back to Colson Loveland owners and Colson Loveland table pounders looking around saying what the hell just happened?
22:03How did, how did the bear score almost 60 points and Colson Loveland zeros me up?
22:07So is this, is there any concern for Colson Loveland moving forward here in your opinion, Stan?
22:12I'm a tough person to ask on Colson Loveland because I've been materially lower than the rest of the community on him,
22:19not from a talent perspective, just from the perspective of what we saw this weekend.
22:23There's a ton of people that can get it done in that bears offense.
22:27Kale Williams can do it himself. The running backs are both very relevant.
22:31I mean, like it's just hard to have a tight end in an offense that has a seemingly unlimited weapons give you tight end one numbers.
22:38That all being said, I do think this is a complete and utter outlier.
22:42I hope he doesn't score another zero the entirety of the season for the sake of my portfolio.
22:47Even, you know, I own a decent amount of Colson Loveland myself.
22:51Um, that all being said, no, I wouldn't panic.
22:54I mean, he still participated on, I think it was over 85% of the routes.
22:58So he was still out there doing his thing.
23:00It was just, it wasn't landing his way. Yeah.
23:03I mean, like you said, there's via fantasy points data, here.
23:06Uh, it looks like the route percentage was the highest of Loveland for, or the highest of any bear was Loveland at 84%.
23:13The next closest is Luther burden at 68. Um, you know, and then Rome at 55 and Khalif Raymond at 57.
23:19And then you look at the target share, uh, percentages here, 6.1 for Loveland on that.
23:23So like, it's just something that it just, it, it almost can't ever be this again.
23:28I mean, you know, but love or commit scores, a touchdown, John Walker scores a touch, you know, all the other guys,
23:34Khalif Raymond soaked up, uh, 31% of the target share, which, you know, almost doubling up everybody else on the entire bears offense.
23:41We, we can't imagine that that's going to happen again.
23:44Um, we've seen some, you know, there are obviously the bears last year were, you know, at around 55%, 53% ish in 11.
23:51And we came back this game and we're at like 55, 56%.
23:54Um, they want to score points. They're pretty comfortable in 11.
23:57So I think Raymond's not necessarily going to go away, but, uh, big D alluded to this on the pleasure chest last
24:04night of a lot of those Raymond targets and things seem like they're going to end up in Loveland's lap, you know, as early as next week.
24:11Right. Yeah. so I wouldn't be too concerned is Raymond in any way, shape or form of flex potential for you next week.
24:18I gotta say no. Right. I mean, it's week one.
24:21If I see it more than one week, we can have the conversation, but for now, I think it's just, I'm a Roman dunes, a believer.
24:28I think burden's got a major role there. Loveland's got a role there.
24:32We like the running backs in that room. I mean, they both ate and gave you plenty of fantasy production this week.
24:38So, uh, in the immediate, I'll take a, I'll take a fourth for Clay framing.
24:43If someone will pay it to me, I'll take my, I'll take my profits and run Casey.
24:48Yeah. Is he, is he returning punts for them?
24:50I would assume. I don't know. I'm not sure.
24:53I don't know. It was more of a kick return punt return yardage league question.
24:57Oh yeah. Um, but, uh, obviously Roma dunes, a had a little bit of a scare coming in, into the season late in camp there.
25:04So, you know, him being at only a 55% route percentage makes sense.
25:08Don't panic. Rome's going to be just fine. As long as the injury stays, uh, where they want to see it, I
25:14think we'll continuously see that to creep up. I am too, a Rome guy.
25:18Uh, this one stinks for me because I love Luther burden and I love Roma dunes.
25:23There's, you know, Caleb is showing that he's good enough to support all these.
25:27But when we, when we shoehorn Calif Raymond's in there, we're just not going to have enough opportunity for everybody to be doing these types of things.
25:35So, you know, some, some weeks you're gonna have to deal with that here and there.
25:39It seems. Yeah. I mean, Hey, I'm just hanging my hat on that 47 yard pass that Rome mossed out of the air over the DB.
25:47And, you know, when I saw it, Casey, I was like, this is what we've been waiting for.
25:52Here it is. It's time. And, uh, and the breakout is going to be a little delayed guys, but it's coming.
25:58It's coming. Yeah. Well, that was one thing that you hadn't necessarily seen him be super strong at in the NFL was
26:04kind of that contested catch area, which he had been good at.
26:08Uh, exactly. Like you're talking about at university of Washington, it was a, it was a weekly occurrence.
26:13And, uh, and now it's nice to see him hopefully find that confidence back and willing to be physical at the catch point.
26:20So let's see what happens. I also wonder if, if, you know, and this would be more diagnosis of like, if that's
26:26the mismatch that, uh, I'm drawing that Ben Johnson saw and Raymond running out of the slot this week and they could
26:32take advantage of it, then that's what he did.
26:35Right. Um, so, you know, it could all be part of those.
26:38Hey, that was the weak point of, of the Carolina defense and we're going to extort it, uh, for as much as we can.
26:45So, and then next week people are going to be looking at Raymond.
26:49He's going to do something else, right? Uh, that's just, I think, you know, that's just the nature of how things go.
26:55Um, all right, moving on. Montgomery comes out, has an excellent week.
26:59One, obviously from an efficiency standpoint, some people could argue not the best, but I think it was just what the Texans needed and wanted from them.
27:07And that, that the outcome fantasy points wise was everything.
27:10Any manager could have wanted at the ADP that you drafted him at.
27:13So is David, what is David? Monk? Is he worth a first right now?
27:17Dude, this is a, such a good question. And I, I'm serious.
27:21I went up in my discord right as the game was going and, and putting the final touches on it and said,
27:27if you're a contender, are you sending a 28 first round pick for David Montgomery?
27:31Cause I think, you know, Casey, I'm sure you, you, you recognize the same sentiment on the market.
27:37He's 27 firsts are almost impossible to get at this point.
27:40Like it's just, people aren't moving them. People aren't trading them.
27:43I get it. You know, those pieces in your closet, you find yourself wearing on repeat.

28:50Symptoms noted are signs of mild to moderate dehydration.
28:53Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist. So if we jump to 28, can you get a 28 first for David Montgomery?
28:59I think the answer has to be yes, unequivocally.
29:02And believe it or not, the Discord poll as of right now, it's not closed, but 86% are saying as a contending
29:08team, they're fine sending a 28 first for David Montgomery.
29:11I mean, man, he looked pretty good. 20 carries, only 60 yards on those, but two rushing touchdowns, add the receiving touchdown in.
29:18Woody Marks only had nine carries. So you're talking less than half of what David Montgomery got.
29:23So it looks like he's going to be the guy.
29:25And I know this isn't a David Montgomery question, but CJ Stroud looked a lot better to my eye than what we have seen in the past.
29:33That was going to be my follow-up. Yeah. Yeah.
29:36And I think that that speaks volumes, right? Like we saw Stroud in his rookie year do some great things.
29:42We saw the confidence be shaken a bit last off season, no contract this off season.
29:46Right. And I think if you can get that version of CJ Stroud wheels are up for David Montgomery, Nico Collins, and the whole lot of them.
29:54So, yeah, I, like I said, from the efficiency standpoint, I think you could, there's a lot to be desired from, but
30:00I mean, the strong suit of the bills is that defensive line, right?
30:04As far as their defense goes. But, you know, and this offensive line for the Texans is, is basically rebuilt.
30:10So it could take a minute for it to kind of figure out and gel and kind of figure out where they're at.
30:16But this is what you wanted the, like last year, Woody marks was a rookie.
30:21He's just not somebody that you necessarily want to be in here pounding it with.
30:25I think the position that Woody marks is in this year really ups his value, ups what, what he can bring to the table for this team.
30:33I think it's a good fit. But like you mentioned here, we got route participation route percentage for Montgomery's at 42% to, to, to Woody's 31.
30:40The snap share was 57% or the snap percentage for Montgomery was 57% to Woody's 28%.
30:45I do think these numbers get a little closer as the season goes on, but the attempt percentage, 62% for Montgomery to 28% for Woody.
30:52And then the target share at 7.9%, which, you know, you get up into 8%.
30:56That's not a terrible target share percentage for a running back.
31:00Um, and Montgomery is a great receiver. He's always been a great receiver, um, underutilized in that.
31:05And obviously Gibbs was otherworldly on his last stop.
31:07Um, but he was somebody in Chicago who I always felt was an under, underused part of the receiving game.
31:13So I think Stroud taking a step back into what we saw and being confident at the end of last year, those
31:19concussions, I think really wore on him. I think he was a little rattled.
31:23You could just see that the confidence just was not what you saw from TJ Stroud early on.
31:28What we saw yesterday. There was some, some bad, but I felt, thought he overcome it.
31:33He, he, he targeted, uh, Nico Collins at a really strong rate, made some great throws, uh, throughout that game.
31:39Obviously the end of the game went in a, in a fashion that you don't want to see basically a, a fumble
31:45from Stroud, um, kind of sealing that one up a bit.
31:48Uh, but again, I'm, I'm with you here. If, if, if the Texans themselves can be scoring 24, 28 points a game, like they're a super bowl contender.
31:56Uh, if, if Stroud can put them in these kinds of games and, and keep mistakes down, not turn it over a
32:03ton, be confident with what he's doing and they can, they can figure out this run game.
32:08Look, the bills came out and had a hell of a performance here.
32:11Week one, there's not many teams that are going to hang 36 on the Texans.
32:16Um, and look the day that the DJ more play that, that, that could have turned the whole game around instead.
32:22It looks like great on the stat sheet for DJ more, but that was, that could have been a pick going the other way.
32:29Right. So that whole game, then that tone of that game could, could shift right there.
32:33Um, so that's, it's, it's, it's inches in that game, but Montgomery, your, your people and it's overreaction Monday on a week one.
32:40Uh, so, you know, ask him in week three, if David Montgomery is worth the first, it's probably a little bit closer poll, different answer.
32:47I would probably say, no, uh, this is, this is to a multiple second standpoint, but if you are a contender, I
32:53mean, the whole point of this thing is to win money.
32:57And, and at some point it's okay to lose the value game to put the points in your lineup game.
33:02Right. I think, well, I think that's one question we got to ask too, right?
33:07Casey is like, you know, I was making this argument during the off season and, and not to toot my own horn
33:13here, but I've been saying for months, what if the bears extend Deandre Swift?
33:17What if they extend Deandre Swift? And it happened.
33:20And now you're seeing him produce really well. His 90 C value is going to probably be on a very solid upwards
33:26rising trajectory for the next few weeks at the bare minimum here coming off all that good news and performance.
33:32But the question with David Montgomery is, you know, I think it's really interesting how nobody brings up this narrative Casey, but
33:38it's like, we all like to talk about, well, Chris McCaffrey had too many touches last year.
33:43He's going to regress, you know, Saquon Barkley the year before he had too many touches and these running backs, there's too
33:49much, you know, tread on the tires, but you mentioned it.
33:52David Montgomery sat second fiddle to Jameer Gibbs for years.
33:55We're not talking about the opposite side of it.
33:58I mean, you can look at David Montgomery and say, well, yeah, he's an older back.
34:02He's in his late twenties, but I could also sit there and say, no, David Montgomery is in his mid twenties.
34:09He basically sat for two and a half seasons and didn't have to do very much from a workloads perspective.
34:14And if you look at his contract, I mean, he's got another year next year in Houston, bare minimum.
34:20That's not saying anything of a potential extension in the future.
34:23I'm not, I'm not speaking that into existence just yet off of one game, right?
34:27This is a overreaction Monday, but I do think when you talk 28 first, it's like, okay, if I get a top
34:3414 performance from David Montgomery this year, and he runs it back with a little regression for a top 18 performance next
34:40year, was that worth it to rent a running back that could potentially win me two championships or be a contributor in my roster?
34:47I think the answer has got to be yes.
34:49Right? So this is all pending injuries and how the Texans remain looking the rest of the season.
34:55So I'm not writing anything in Sharpie yet, but I think we do have to talk about, you know, nobody talks about
35:01the other side of less tread on the tires for these running backs.
35:05Yeah, no, that's a, that's a very good point.
35:07I mean, it should be, it should be done in, in mileage, not years, you know?
35:12That's, uh, so anyhow, I got to start talking about these running backs, like they're Pontiac.
35:16That's right. That's right. You know, I've, I've got a Toyota with, with 70,000 miles on it to 2006 or 2016.
35:23Like that thing's doing just fine. I think it's going to be, you know, it's old, but 70,000 miles.
35:28I mean, this is, you know, that's nothing. It's just getting started.
35:31So, um, all right, uh, let's stay in this game.
35:34Let's go to, let's go to the Dalton Kincaid side.
35:37Cause we mentioned DJ more having a good game and helping this, this situation out.
35:42And I'll be, uh, up front is like, I don't trust the Joe Brady.
35:46I didn't trust the Joe Brady offense to be heavily targeting one person and making them relevant week over week.
35:51But we just saw Dalton Kincaid come out here and have just, I think it was 68% snap share.
35:57Let me see here. 73, I think is what I got, which is, which is the highest he's, he's had in his career so far.
36:04He was normally flirting around that. 60% was his high, but yeah, six targets, five catches, 130 yards.
36:09I mean, I don't expect over a hundred yards out of Dalton Kincaid each and every week, but you're mentioning there from
36:15the snap percentage perspective is very encouraging for his future.
36:18Yeah, no, I I've got, I've got 68.8 from fantasy data points, but this it's all charted slightly different in different places, but still that's extremely good.
36:26If we're going to, if you're going to tell me that through the season of what the bills are going to do
36:32that, we're going to see him be at that clip of usage.
36:36Like I just can't imagine a world where it's not, you know, at least six, seven, eight targets a game.
36:42If you're going to be on the field that much, he's clearly their second or first best player on offense.
36:47I think I've always been a big fan of him.
36:50I don't know where you stood historically on the Dalton Kincaid train.
36:54It's been a tough one to stay on the train.
36:57And injuries have been a big part of that.
36:59And, you know, Knox being signed is always, you know, but a lot of teams are, are doing those kinds of things.
37:06You know, you just saw Michael Mayer get paid.
37:08You've seen Cole commit and, and now Loveland be in there.
37:11So we've seen this kind of juxtaposition of, of we got two guys with okay contracts from the tight end position, but
37:18I think the talent of Dalton Kincaid, Joe Brady's just always given me pause.
37:22He hasn't given me any reason to say, but to be fair, like who's been the guy that they can give it to.
37:28And if, if Kincaid hasn't been available from a health standpoint, they couldn't use them like that, you know?
37:34So you feel like this is, do you think this is, is this the new reality is the question I have here for Dalton Kincaid.
37:41Well, the new reality is more opportunity. Yes. The new reality is not 26 yards per catch is what we need to
37:47make sure that we are understanding of it. Just to like put into perspective to Casey, how absurdly efficient this Buffalo offense was.
37:54I mean, we were talking about Jacksonville, but like 52 plays is what they ran.
37:58Okay. They netted 409 yards. That was that's, that's 7.9 yards per play.
38:02So like this team definitely overperformed, especially against the Texans defense that I know you and I both expect to be near the top.
38:09They remain healthy by the end of the season.
38:12That all being said, yes, I do think this is a trend in the right direction for Dalton Kincaid.
38:17I agree with you that he might be outside of Josh Allen, you know, and James cook, probably the most talented positional player on, on offense here.
38:25I like DJ more, but I think Don Kincaid, his ceiling is potentially higher where he can go in his career.
38:31If he's able to stay healthy and on the field now and build from these performances with Josh Allen.
38:36And we we've seen Josh Allen come out and be vocal and say that he's like, I trust Don Kincaid to the nth degree.
38:43Like I'm going to throw the ball up in his direction as much as I possibly can.
38:48Like you mentioned though, unfortunately he just hasn't been on the field enough for Josh Allen to throw the ball up whenever he possibly can.
38:55So I think give me a six game stretch here of healthy Don Kincaid.
38:59Let's pray. And let's revisit this and see where we're at.
39:03Cause he was always in that premium tight end conversation, but I think it was hard to keep them in there this
39:09off season when you're drafting, just because we haven't seen it turn into a physical product.
39:13But if it's going to be like this, he's climbing right back up into Harold Fannin range.
39:18Right? Right. Yeah. I mean, and you know, we, we knew the all off season, the advanced metrics of, of, you know,
39:25per play stuff was very good from what we saw from Dalton Kincaid.
39:28And that doesn't always turn into anything. It's a lot of that, a lot of that sometimes can just be, you know,
39:35turned into, and that didn't ever really matter. Um, and I know Shev has been a big proponent of Kincaid all off season.
39:41So shout out to him. Great first game here, but you wouldn't be, are you, or would you be selling off your Kincaid stock here?
39:49Is this a sell high moment? Or are you just, I think the tight end game is, is, is, is so tricky
39:55that if you can get somebody who's going to maintain this level of usage, obviously health, you know, take it or take, take it for what it is.
40:03I mean, it's, it's something that's very hard to predict.
40:06You could Keenan Allen's the guy we always go back to of just like forever.
40:10He was injury prone. And then he didn't have an injury forever for Keenan Allen.
40:14Um, Kincaid could be healthy, relatively relatively healthy for the next five years.
40:18And if, if so, it doesn't look like this.
40:21So selling high to me, I think I, you know, I'm much more, if I believe in the guy, I'm much more
40:27of a holder than, than a seller. Uh, so where would you stand on the, on the Kincaid?
40:32Just generally it's week one. It is what it is.
40:35Would you be selling off? I know we're not giving, you know, and we, and we will eventually be giving specific examples.
40:42Of how to buy and sell, but week one, it's, you know, it is what it is.
40:46So we're going to live in the, in the, in the maybe right now.
40:50Yeah, I know for sure. I think this one's just very situation and format dependent for me.
40:55So I don't mean to sit on a fence, but if you're at a heavy Titan premium, then no, I'm probably not
41:02just immediately selling Dalton Kincaid because you might finally have struck water in the well.
41:06And this is what's going to feed you throughout the entirety of the season.
41:10Now that all being said, you said something that I always rely on, at least in my own leagues, which is if
41:16you believe in the guy or if, if he was one of your guys.
41:20Now, if I can now take Kincaid and get to a guy I believe in more like Tucker craft, for example, who
41:27I just view as a complete and utter game wrecker at times.
41:30Yeah, I'll take this and I'll try to move to craft.
41:33And Hey, if I can get a one for one now, because Kincaid looks so good, that's great.
41:39If all I got to do is add a third or something small, you know, I'm, I'm more interested.
41:44Right. So I would say my answer is I will use Kincaid to tear up to the players that I really, really believe in.
41:51But if not, I'm probably just holding because, you know, if you're going to go ahead and print what two 27 seconds
41:57for Don Kincaid, it's just, it's not as exciting to me.
42:00Right. I mean, if I can get a mid first, now we're talking a different story, but I'm trying to remain in the realm of, of reality here.
42:09Correct. Yeah. I mostly would be in the holds, holding pattern for him right now as well.
42:13So, all right, keeping it moving here. We go, we shoot over to the green Bay Packers here.
42:19And when we take a look at kind of what took place this first game without, let's say, you know, Jordan Reed
42:25or a Jane rear, yeah, Jane, Romeo Dobbs rather.
42:28And Wicks is now out there for the Philadelphia, not, not there anymore.
42:31So this core looks a lot like it's Watson, it's golden, it's reading its craft.
42:36And that's kind of what we're going to have, what we're going to work with little Johnny Smith working in there.
42:42But the good part of the Packers game, we saw Christian Watson be about as good as we could hope.
42:47Christian Watson could possibly be from an efficiency and a receiver volume standpoint.
42:51Now you go through and route participation. Participation golden was number one at eight, 87%, but Watson was second on the team
42:57at 80 target share, 26% for golden and 16% for Watson.
43:01So generally I think that the Packers are going to will Matthew golden to be their number one, essentially, because they don't
43:07spend a first round draft pick on receivers often.
43:10I think they're just going to make it be a thing.
43:13And I think he's good. I don't, you know, I thought that people being super down on him last year because he
43:19didn't produce as a rookie at a, you know, it is what it is.
43:23It's sometimes things don't go your way. They had a weird spread out, but I thought love played okay to start the
43:29game and then was just awful in the back half of this game.
43:33And it seemed like Christian Watson got the good love.
43:36And I've always been somebody who's been on the Christian Watson, like sell high when you can sell high, buy low and you can buy low.
43:44Cause he's just been that kind of volatile of a player.
43:47And I find him hard to trust week over week in my lineup for generally throughout his fantasy career, best ball for sure.
43:53I'm fine with it, but is he somebody who you now view as potentially being wide receiver one from a points standpoint for the Packers week over week?
44:01Oh, this one hurts me because I love Christian Watson as a prospect.
44:05Like I loved him coming out of college. I was stashing him left and right towards the end of the first round of my rookie drafts.
44:13You know, however many years ago was now, it feels like a lifetime, right?
44:17Time goes so fast. That all being said though, I think we're finally seeing the potential and the ceiling of what Christian Watson could be.
44:24I mean, you saw it on that 81 yard touchdown run, you know, he's explosive.
44:28Like, yeah, yeah. Yeah. The man can, can really start churning and burning.
44:32If you just give them some open space to do so.
44:35The unfortunate part is just how long is that going to last?
44:39Because the injuries have been such an issue in his career.
44:42And I think what we also have to acknowledge Casey and, you know, I hate to tie everything back to my guy,
44:48Tucker craft over here, but that what we saw this weekend was still a shell of Tucker craft.
44:53Like they were absolutely picking and choosing when to get him involved.
44:57And he did fine for you. You know what I mean?
45:00He's still got, I think nine and a half points, even in the non-premium.
45:04So, you know, Tucker craft still extremely well involved at a very limited rate.
45:08That all being said though, I I'm tentative on crowning Christian Watson right now.
45:12Now, is he the wide receiver I'm most excited about in that offense?
45:16Yes. The answer is yes. I, I still think he's better than Matthew golden.
45:20And I know Matthew golden, like crazy enough. He had 50% more targets than Watson.
45:24He had 12 targets, but he only came down with six of them for 95 yards.
45:29Christian Watson, uh, had 147 and two studies. So I think fantasy wise, all the headlines are going to be Christian Watson there.
45:35Um, all being said, I, I I'm excited about what I'm seeing out of Christian Watson.
45:40I'm taking it with a grain of salt. He still carries a little bit of like JMO in the back of my
45:46mind of like, he's going to have huge games.
45:49He's going to have six point games. And so, uh, I think the other thing you alluded to there is I hate
45:55to poopoo on Jordan love, but I I'm just not the biggest Jordan love guy.
45:59Like I think he's very streaky when he's on, he's on, but that Packers offense does seem to struggle often and just kind of shut down.
46:07And the coaching decisions have been something I've questioned over the years as well.
46:11So yeah, the line struggled yesterday all day as well for the Packers, both in the run game and protecting, um, Jordan love.
46:18Um, so that's certainly part of it. Um, but is there, is there any, um, is there anything going to be left for Jaden Reed consistently?
46:25That's a better question. I think Jaden Reed is like, if you have them, you have to hold them right now because
46:31you're not going to be able to sell them for much after a performance like that in, in my mind.
46:37Um, but I'm not actively going out and sending Jaden Reed offers this week.
46:41If it's me. Which I really, really liked the talent.
46:44I, he's somebody who I just think that like you can use him like a line of scrimmage, a screen guy, get
46:50the ball in his hands, do stuff like you could do interesting things with them.
46:55I just feel like with golden and with, with Watson.
46:58And then like you said, craft slowly working his way back.
47:01I feel like Reed's going to end up being the odd man out here.
47:05Um, and again, like he's also had some injuries.
47:07Watson's had some injuries craft coming back. So, you know, it's, it's a, I feel like it's a, it's a moving, um,
47:14lineup here, but I, I struggle to find a spot for Reed consistently.
47:18Yeah. I don't know if I'm a huge believer here and man, that green Bay backfield was gross.
47:23It was gross to watch. Disgusting mess. Marshawn Lloyd, 13 carries for 37 yards, zero catches.
47:27And I didn't see a whole lot at a, at a Brooks that I liked either.
47:32So I think all, all to wrap up the Packers here, Watson, if you got them, ride them crafts on the, on the incline.
47:39I'm not touching that running game. Yeah. And I'm, I'm, I'm, I've been very much in on draft and golden.
47:45So I'm, I like that. There was a lot of targets here going his way.
47:49I think they're going to try to make it a thing.
47:52That was kind of my off season position and I'm a sticking with it.
47:56Um, all right, Atlanta, just obviously two, it goes out before the game.
48:00Then, uh, Cooper rush has some back spasms. We kind of know that he's just a very mid backup quarterback.
48:06He could, he could, he could not lose games for you, but he's certainly not going to win games for you.
48:12Um, are, do we have a Drake and pits issue here for the Atlanta Falcons and your fantasy team?
48:17I mean, in the immediate, yes, it depends on how long until we get Michael Penix back.
48:22And I, I know you and I were talking a little bit, uh, earlier today, just about Michael Penix.
48:27And I've been a long time believer. I'm, I'm going to hold down the faith that when he returns, there will be
48:34a lot sunnier days for your fantasy football assets.
48:36I trust him to be able to force the ball downfield at least and, and feed some pass catchers.
48:42But yeah, if it's going to be Cooper rush under center, Casey, uh, Drake London and Kyle pits are both, uh, probably a non-starter for me.
48:49How do we not roll with, how do we not give Jack strand a shot here?
48:54Yeah, it's a great question. We should have, we should have already got it.
48:58I mean, if you're in Atlanta's position, you're playing with the house's money right now.
49:02You just got to throw something at the wall and hope it sticks.
49:06And you're benching Drake and pits. Uh, I want to say yes.
49:10I don't think I feel good about gassing them up.
49:12If I'm correct, who are they playing? I think it's, they play the Panthers.
49:16The Panthers. Yeah, no, I, I think, uh, I think I'll, I'll pass on them this week.
49:21Yes. Especially if I have better options. Now, if you don't have better options, yeah, Drake London's a, a top 10 wide
49:28receiver when he's healthy, but, uh, yeah, in the immediate, I'm not very encouraged.
49:32I'm a very much start your studs kind of a guy.
49:35Like I don't, you know, it is what I got a bad matchup.
49:39It is what it is. But when this starts kind of stuff starts trickling in where it's like, you're just unsure if,
49:45if the quarterback there can facilitate this, I do start to struggle.
49:48Like you said, if you have some better, you know, if, if Kalief Raymond is your next option for Drake London, then play Drake London again.
49:56But if you're sitting there with like, let's just say you have Matthew golden on the bench, would you play Matthew golden over Drake London this coming week?
50:04Yeah, I would. I would. And, and that's a crazy statement because I'm not going to lie.
50:09You asked me that three weeks ago. I I'd say, you said no way out of your high.
50:14Yeah, exactly. Like I'd ask you what you were smoking and ask you for, for a hit.
50:19Yeah. So, all right. So, but somebody like, all right, let's, let's, let's go one more.
50:24Like, yeah, like somebody like a Casey conception. Cause we know how poor that that looked this week.
50:29Okay. That one I'm going to go over Drake.
50:31And that one I'm going to go. No, but it's also because that Browns offense just looked anemic for most of the game.
50:38I mean, they scored, I think they scored in the two minute warning.
50:42Was it like real garbage time? Right. So, yeah.
50:44Yeah. So you, you, you saw three points from that Browns offense.
50:48Now I don't trust the Falcons, but I trust Drake London more than a three point Browns team.
50:53Okay. Well, so Jalen Coker did just pop up on the injury report, but he would be, and I don't think we
50:59actually, we had them on the list where we talked about him.
51:03I don't think he actually made it on this week.
51:06I'm sure we'll talk about him, but like if you, if Jalen Coker plays against said Atlanta Falcons, would you play Coker
51:12or would you play Drake London or Kyle Pitts?
51:14I guess Kyle Pitts is different because unless it's like a premium and you want to flex.
51:19So we'll just leave it at Drake. Like, I think you got to go Coker.
51:24I think you got to go Coker too, which is nice.
51:27I hate this. Casey, man, week one has already thrown us.
51:30I mean, it's so funny. We can all sit here, you know, for, for six months plus in our ivory tower and
51:36make as many predictions as we want. And just week one comes around and you're already benching Drake London.
51:42Like this is the, why we play the game.
51:44It's, it's too much fun. It's too much. Yeah.
51:47All right. Let's, let's move on from, from the unfun Falcons right now.
51:51Obviously B. John is still a must play. Yes.
51:53As far as that goes. Right. Um, all right.
51:56Isaiah likely shines in new look giants offense. will he finish as a top five tight end to start this conversation no
52:02i i don't think he will now very much like what i saw out of isaiah likely there okay uh i've been
52:09skeptical of some of the preseason news with him right like oh he's jackson dart's favorite target in in preseason and in
52:15training camp well it's just so easy to say when there's no pads and i mean he's a tight end he's he's
52:21incredibly athletic right he's basically a receiving tight end yeah with no pads on of course a guy that's you know like
52:28over six four and able to run that speed is going to be taking down a lot of passes like no one
52:34wants to touch him he's huge that all being said um that all being said uh he looked great and and dart
52:40looked really confident as a passer i know we're probably gonna talk a little bit about dart here in a second so
52:47i won't jump the gun too much but i think that was the most encouraging sign from a likely perspective was just
52:53what i saw out of jackson dart and his pocket presence and and kind of the way he went through his reads
52:59and it didn't look too frazzled back there you know i think a lot of times we saw jackson dart tuck the
53:06ball and run early last year and this year it seems like he is trying to develop as a quarterback before he
53:12just runs and there was plenty of running still involved like we watched him pull down on you know on reads often
53:18and and he had the option there you know consistently that they drew up for him which i love to see from
53:25also a rushing perspective fantasy wise i took us on a rabbit trail down the dart train but it's important casey because
53:31that directly translates to isaiah likely's overall production and so he's absolutely in the realm of a top 10 finisher for me
53:37i just think the top six is going to be tough to crack this year there's a lot of guys i really
53:44like you know i won't list every single person that we think is an elite tight end here you know in burn
53:50time but like i still think sam laporte is in that conversation he looked encouraging in week one coming back with five
53:56catches and eight targets you know coming off a back injury and like you said the lions offense didn't even look very
54:03good so i think to just slot him in as top six that'd be a week one reaction i will give him
54:09top 10 though it was very encouraging and i like the trajectory so he would be somebody who you would be not
54:15selling from from what you just saw week one or like again you know i think you're you're selling if i can
54:22get a tear up right like if i'm a contender i still think george kittle is going to be a difference maker
54:28down the stretch this year right so now if i'm an isaiah likely owner and i can say go to the george
54:34kittle owner and say give me george kittle in a 27 second i'm fine doing that because i think george kittle when
54:41he's back to being george kittle you know by week four or week six is still gonna be a huge difference maker
54:47for you potentially even come the fantasy playoffs and i just got a 27 second that probably is gonna be worth something
54:53significant in the offseason next year right and so those are deals i would explore but no i'm not just taking uh
55:00likely and running to the to the first better yeah i i you know i've been a likely supporter for a while
55:06so this this feels good so again this is going to be somebody who i like the player i believe in the
55:12player so i'm not necessarily going off to sell him but along the vein of what you said about kate and just
55:19kind of reiterated there if you can go tear up to an elite level player and maybe add a little something to
55:25likely after this week one performance i never think that that's a bad way to go you know you're never gonna go
55:31broke quote unquote taking a profit as they say um but the the dart thing was is something that you know i'll
55:38just i'll hit on him we'll move on and um i thought he looked confident i thought he's making quick decisions last
55:44night i was i wasn't a dart hater i was just apprehensive of the adp from the offseason where i wasn't ready
55:50to throw him in the mix of where everybody was ready to put him um you know like in that brock purdy
55:57or before brock purdy even in a lot of stand and i was just like i'll just rather take brock now it's
56:03still i'm okay taking brock purdy i know what i'm getting there uh but the rushing upside is enticing we just needed
56:09to not take do the dumb things but like you said seemed like and collinsworth made it a point to kind of
56:16like they're not going to take away the rushing they're still very much going to use it because it should as a
56:22weapon but like you have to be smart about how you're going to do it uh but generally from the quarterback perspective
56:28yesterday i thought he was making good decisions and and again i and maybe some of this is just stemming back because
56:35i thought the the cowboys defense was going to be much improved uh and that that did not seem to be the
56:41case but um shout out to you know say whatever you want about john harbaugh but that's that's a good coach um
56:47and you know i know everybody hates the guys who are in charge of the offense over there uh but i thought
56:54they did a great job yesterday that was that was really well done from the giants perspective um and it looks like
57:00you know you could say follow the money that doesn't always that that's not i think that's a that's a silly way
57:06to approach uh things because people do dumb things uh with with monies and contracts so but very encouraging what you saw
57:13from isaiah likely um definitely a a week two starter for sure moving forward um now for to likely's former team now
57:19this guy's a little banged up but we talked about zay flowers as is your opinion now from what you saw in
57:25week one zay flowers has the potential to now be inside of just a consistent week or week to week wide receiver
57:32one i don't see how he can't be you know he looked so electric in that first half and the fact of
57:38the matter is that at halftime this man had five catches for 150 yards and a touchdown and it's like okay say
57:44what you want the indianapolis colts their their defense isn't incredible or it's the first game of the season there's going to
57:51be flukes you can make every excuse in the book i loved what i saw at zay flowers um you know i
57:57think he was trending upwards we we really liked what we were seeing at the end of last year finished his wide
58:03receiver seven overall now points per game wise it's going to look a little bit different right so i think a lot
58:10of people were wondering this offseason was that inflated is this legit but hey i mean you know we talked about even
58:16in the game you saw jacoby lane was that second option and he's a 21 year old rookie so if you're looking
58:22for upside and potential alpha league winning upside in a wide receiver we say opportunity is king i mean how can you
58:29not be all in on zay flowers here i know a lot of people were rumbling saying he's going to take the
58:35jsn jump this year now i don't know if i'm 100 there because i think jsn's a different breed but look i
58:41i think zay flowers looked as good as you can look in a half of football so yeah i think he's a
58:48no-brainer plug and play wide receiver 125 freshly extended i mean how many how many other good things do you need casey
58:54how many other good things well that that was there was always a yeah but with him um but it seems like
59:00to me this just comes down to is the new coordinator and declan doyle able to facilitate and put him in the
59:07position to win because he's clearly a good enough player it's always been well what about the touchdowns and it's like all
59:13right well yeah i get that to some extent but touchdowns can be you know quite fluky and and move up and
59:19down pretty but like if you're going to be able to get the ball in his hands like you just got the
59:26ball like they did a great job of getting the ball in his hands on the move uh so he's already kind
59:32of in motion uh and getting to put his best skills on display i think it's really hard to deal with and
59:38i think lamar looked really sharp yesterday uh which is always a positive but you know he's their guy like he's gonna
59:45he should be the guy who just oozes target percentage and if you're just gonna heap all that on to him now
59:51he has to stay healthy um that's gonna be a part of it but he's been relatively healthy throughout his career but
59:57he has been somebody who i think if you have like a pretty loaded team he's somebody who you're always a little
60:04sweaty to slide in there week over week generally for the public but i think if healthy and out there from now
60:10on i think he's somebody who pretty much has to be in your lineup and i know that's a ridiculous thing to
60:16say but do you understand do you get the the way that i'm framing that like obviously the way you're drafting him
60:23you're playing him but i feel like if you've got an existing lineup where you had zay like i've got some pretty
60:29loaded lineups where it's like hey do you want to play you know zay or uh mike evans is a bad example
60:35right now but just like sometimes you get to that point where it's like hey your first two receivers are jsn and
60:42uh drake london if maybe if he's not you know doing what he's doing right now but then you hey you're now
60:48you're into your flexes and it's like hey i have i got a bunch of good flexes like i could be playing
60:54breeze hall or zay flowers right i mean well a good example in what you're talking about which i completely agree with
61:01is like you know i was i was talking to you pre-show about one of my ultimate contending teams that i'm running
61:07out right now it's a three wide receiver team i got justin jefferson jackson smith and jigba and tedder o mcmillan feel
61:13great about that wide receiving core but if i had zay flowers i'd sure as hell be debating playing zay flowers over
61:20ted and i'd probably do it right and so i think it's like okay well now now we're opening a conversation because
61:26i know startup adp isn't everything in dynasty you draft for the future but you probably took at the end of the
61:32second early third you probably took zay in the fifth if not maybe the early sixth depending on when you did your
61:39startup draft this offseason you know right so i think it's like yeah those conversations exist now and i think zay flowers
61:45has got to be mentioned with the best of them in those wide receiver builds so yeah yeah all right two more
61:51questions and then we'll get into some rookie conversation and some year two player stuff um all right we just watched that
61:58bangles bucks game and gasecki came out there and and put put one down is this is this a real thing here
62:04obviously we're not worried about t higgins and chase you know that's week one overreaction stuff but is the gasecki thing because
62:10the third option there just doesn't exist outside of chase brown no you know what's really funny casey is like i i
62:17found myself mentioning mike gasecki like pretty often this offseason just as far as like you know we talk opportunities king right
62:23yeah opportunities king he's free he's entirely free you know they had no a fan a couple years ago and didn't turn
62:29into anything and then you know they kind of just keep coming back to the mike gasecki well here and uh yeah
62:36he paid off for you right five catches 78 yards touchdown this week and and like you mentioned price point is everything
62:42i mean this guy's probably still sitting on your waivers in a lot of leagues right now like like i guarantee he
62:48is in a lot of people's leagues i don't want to admit it that was almost the question i framed it's like
62:55is he worth a pickup but i you know i wanted to give people you know a little bit more credit than
63:01that he probably shouldn't be sitting on some waiver wires but in redraft he certainly is oh for sure yeah is this
63:07a real thing is this something to be excited about or is this something that next you're not gonna you wouldn't be
63:14let's put it this way are you putting kyle pitts in your lineup are you putting mike gasecki in your lineup next
63:20week i'm putting mike gasecki in my lineup i mean come on man you're putting me on the spire with kyle pitts
63:26again and like if cooper rush is rolling out i think you gotta just do it right i mean the bangles the
63:33bangles can move the ball and joe burrow didn't look fantastic from from my eyes and you know i think he made
63:39some questionable decisions here but yeah and at least if we're talking one by one week sample size here mike gasecki is
63:45probably a streaming option for you now i i'm not telling you that mike gasecki is going to finish anywhere near like
63:52a top 20 tight end finish even this year um when it's all said and done but you match up dependent bi-week
63:58dependent roster dependent yeah i mean he's in the conversation if you play in a tight end premium league i mean 1.5
64:04you're probably starting mike gasecki over a pretty decent handful of wide receivers out there sure and if you get into the
64:11two-point realms you know he's you're flexing them and this is this is why you know being big co we play in
64:17some two points and it's just like i'll have a roster full of tight ends like you know you could have four
64:23for 40 you know and it's it's still a solid day you know six for 60 is a hell of a day
64:30for a two-point tight end you know 100 100 you're watching a lineup of aj brown dalton show it's all i'll put
64:36them all out there yeah yeah your boy aj barner or aj barner sorry yeah um all right um and i to
64:42be i'm gonna play pits next week over gasecki that's fair that's fair but you know i i'm i'm with you um
64:49all right cam ward is the qb1 in tennessee next year for the final question of fact or fiction or buy sell
64:55or overreaction or is cam ward the qb1 in tennessee in 2027 sorry i'm gonna spin it on you okay okay okay
65:01yes i think he is um the better question is robert sala the head coach of the tennessee titans and i think
65:08it's largely gonna fall on him right like i mean if you're the titans organization i think you gotta just ride this
65:14one out right like you you took him number one overall like you've been changing coaches left and right uh and you're
65:20trying to get something to stick right now but no uh i was way lower than community consensus on cam ward during
65:27the off season i believe we actually talked about that last time i was on with chev on here and apologies to
65:33the man uh you know like i want to root for cam ward and i'm a wandale robinson fan out here you
65:40know i i want to see some good fantasy performance for wandale i own a lot of them but yeah uh this
65:46titans team looked awful casey and and i mean could you ask for an easier matchup in week one with the jets
65:52too so it's like how how low can they go and you know when i knew they were in trouble casey is
65:59i i watched the preseason you know i'm a seahawks fan i watch every game when when they couldn't move the ball
66:05with their starters against our second string defense i was worried okay i was very worried for the titans because i'm like
66:11i know that the seahawks defense is elite but our second string is not elite i mean we already got nehemiah pritchett
66:18rolling out at starting corner okay so like like i don't even think half the viewers out there know who that man
66:24is so yeah yeah yeah i'll i'll go i'll go yes i i i like cam ward a lot um i think
66:30he he cares i think he wants to be good that's a big factor for me um and i think he's got
66:37the talent to be good i think he's got that kind of magiciany like uh play from you know in duress which
66:43sometimes gets him into trouble for sure um i think dayball is somebody who can turn this guy around i think dayball's
66:49had a lot of success and played with a lot of different quarterbacks and uh i think for all the negatives anybody
66:56wants to point at dayball i think quarterback is is a positive that he's he's put on wax um so i say
67:02we got to give this thing time the titans are just like organization like and when we talked about this last time
67:08it was i i think cam ward can be fine will he be elite i don't know but i think he can
67:15be a fantasy qb2 without very much um things going you know crazily right for him organizationally though i i obviously have
67:21again 49ers guy i think sala is is a like they'll figure this defense out one way or the other like even
67:27if you go back to the jets and you can say whatever you want like about where that was but like the
67:34jets defense was formidable when sala was there through his tenure for the most part and as soon as he left the
67:40the just that just fell apart um so i think he'll figure out this defense i think dayball will figure out some
67:46semblance of this offense and i'm with you like i think wandel is is a big key to settling cam ward down
67:53of just easy i was under the impression this year that can't that he would lead this team in receptions and targets
67:59and i think that's the way that they should go give him quick easy little things get the ball out of his
68:05hands easy button them with wandel robinson but yes i'm gonna say yes he is gonna be the quarterback i believe in
68:12cam ward still i think organizationally i think they have some of the right parts and pieces but like this just takes
68:18time to flip how it's been bad bad in tennessee um and you know even with jacksonville when cohen first got there
68:24like there was still plenty of people who were thinking that trevor lawrence was not even a top 32 quarterback you know
68:31what i mean so yeah i mean i'm with you i think cam ward gets gets a leash here and i think
68:37he pulls through on the other end at least you know to be serviceable serviceable yeah serviceable and the one thing i
68:43will say for the titans right and maybe there's the last little piece i'll add for the titans that we can we
68:50can keep moving because i don't think uh people are thrilled about their offensive output right now but they only ran 49
68:56plays uh casey and they only had 21 minutes time of possession like we know it's so hard to get going when
69:02you barely have any of the ball and you know you're starting the season you can't get in a groove you can't
69:09get your plays together you can't line things up the way you want to you can't let anything develop and the other
69:15thing is and this is why i'm including that piece of knowledge is i think from a dynasty perspective you probably have
69:21a nice buy low on tony pollard this week i mean he did nothing right because they didn't have the ball they
69:28couldn't establish a run game and so i think like for the panickers out there like if you're looking to stack some
69:34running back depth and you think you're making a playoff push in your league already and you're feeling good about your team
69:40i'd be sending a couple of thirds in the direction of a tony pollard owner and just hoping that i come home
69:47with uh with uh with with a lucky hall right so yeah there's probably still some some wandel wiggle room too i
69:53agree i agree that's you uh out there so anyway all right let's close that chapter hey i want to thank you
