Williams is among the best values at quarterback alongside Drake Maye, Joe Burrow, and Jalen Hurts.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveUsage0:12

The analyst has more exposure to Montgomery than he should and is trying to even out his allocation.

Drake Maye

PositiveValue0:16

Maye is among the best values at quarterback alongside Joe Burrow, Caleb Williams, and Jalen Hurts.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection0:09

Wilson could have a really good season but is unlikely to break fantasy.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveUsage0:12

Chase and Rashi Rice are drafted together on 8 of 600 teams, nearly double the field average of 0.7%, indicating a strong combo preference.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveValue0:16

Hurts is the single best pick at quarterback, with the analyst noting he's falling in ADP and is a better fantasy entity than Patrick Mahomes at a lower price.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveRole0:08

Williams is selected as part of a strong early draft construction alongside Kenneth Walker and Justin Jefferson.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveValue0:16

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveRole0:15

Addison is selected as the analyst's highest ranked player available in the round.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveProjection0:05

Herbert was priced much higher in preseason (QB3) but has since fallen in draft value, though the analyst doesn't have enough exposure to him.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection0:04

Jefferson is described as potentially the number one overall player in fantasy football and is a happy pick at pick 10.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveRole0:21

Mitchell is selected as part of a strong team construction with multiple positional flexibility.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection0:05

Walker's ceiling is described as probably the third highest scoring running back in fantasy football.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveValue0:17

Pitts is falling in drafts for unclear reasons, and the analyst takes very little of him despite believing he's undervalued.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveMatchup0:20

Willis gets a favorable Week 16 matchup against the Chargers.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeBreakout0:09

Evans is not expected to break fantasy this season.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveValue0:17

Mahomes is a great value but is getting close in price to Jalen Hurts, who is the better fantasy option.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveRole0:02

Johnston made the most of his opportunities with 12.2 PPR points per game and 1.59 yards per route run, outperforming McConkie despite not being on a Randy Moss-level arc.

Insight page

Ted Ginn Jr.

PositiveProjection0:13

Ted has a chance to consolidate target share and needs decent touchdown luck to pay off, with Mike Clay projecting 140 targets, 83 receptions, 1200 yards, and 6 touchdowns.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeBreakout0:10

Higgins is not expected to break fantasy, though he could be very good if Chase gets hurt.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveRole0:03

Harris is mentioned as part of the Chargers offense with 6.2% exposure in the analyst's models, though the analyst has reservations about his skill set.

0:00This episode is brought to you by Troll Co.
0:03Clothing. And oh, is this one worth it? You know, more than a few people have asked me about Troll Co.
0:10So let me actually tell you about it. I wear their hats, their sweatshirts.
0:15I have for a while now. The quality on both is legitimately good.
0:19The hats hold their shape. The sweatshirts are the kind of heavy that you actually want, not the thin stuff that pills after three washes.
0:28I just like them. The reason I connected with the brand in the first place is the story behind it.
0:34You know the phrase, dirty hands clean money? It's a blue collar saying that has been around forever.
0:40It's the idea that honest, hard, physical work is how you build a good life.
0:46Troll Co. was started by two guys who came out of the oil patch who could not find any clothing that represented people like them.
0:54So they built it themselves. That is the kind of origin story I respect.
0:59And the product truly backs it up. If you want to check them out, go to TrollCo.com slash Profiler.
1:05That is T-R-O-L-L-C-O dot com slash Profiler and use code Profiler25 for 25% off your first order.
1:11The absolute number one player that no one will stop talking about is Lad McConkie.
1:16I think there are a lot of different ways that Lad McConkie's upcoming season could go.
1:21The one that I am frankly most terrified of is that Lad McConkie ends up being the answer to this year's Jackson
1:29Smith and Jake, but that's the thing that you hear.
1:32And he did get much worse from year one to year two.
1:36Year one, he scores 15 PPR points per game, 2.56 yards per route run for my guy Lad McConkie.
1:42Then 1.4, 1.47 yards per route run. I mean, I hate to put it out there in the universe, but that is
1:50very similar to my guy, Xavier Worthy. His routes per game.
1:54I think this is maybe the biggest misconception that I've heard about the Lad McConkie discussion, which is that his route share went down.
2:02His snap share went down. That is not true.
2:05If we look at his 2025 game logs, he played less than 70% of the snaps in two games.
2:11More often, he played over 80% of the snaps in a given game.
2:16He had fewer than 20 routes run in one game.
2:19One game he had fewer than 20 routes run.
2:22I tend to agree that Lad did indeed get frame mugged by Quentin Johnston last year.
2:27That is the way that I am interpreting it.
2:30Now, QJ, not necessarily a huge argument. We are drafting at 10 here, by the way, in this draft.
2:37QJ himself did have a great season. QJ ended up with not a great yards per route run, but very good raw numbers.
2:451.59 yards per route run, 1.93 the year before, 12.2 points per game.
2:49And looking at his game logs, again, the target shares, it's not really anything to write home about.
2:55It's not that QJ was, you know, Quentin Johnston was not on his Randy Moss arc, but he made the best of what he got, right?
3:04I mean, I think Lad basically did very little with the touches that he got, and my guy Quentin Johnston did the most with what he was offered.
3:13I don't think that Lad McConkie sort of fits the role of a Jackson Smith and Jigba, a Jaguar Smith and Jigba,
3:21if you listen to Chess Liam about Parker Washington.
3:24I do think that I probably am too light on Lad McConkie, probably just too light on the Chargers in general.
3:314.3% of Hampton, 2.8% of Lad, 6.5% of Herbert, very little QJ.
3:35A lot of Keaton Missal, a lot of Gadsden, 6.2% of Trey Harris.
3:39I need to up those numbers, mostly because I'm so afraid of getting punished by Mike McDaniel.
3:45Very, very afraid of getting punished by Mike McDaniel.
3:48It would not be surprising to me if the Chargers were pretty clearly a top-five offense in fantasy football.
3:54Wouldn't really surprise me at all, actually. Now, do I have reservations compared to the market about Lad's skill set, about Hampton's
4:02skill set, about Herbert's skill set, about QJ's skill set, about Trey Harris's?
4:06Honestly, this will just give you a look into my mind.
4:10Do you want to know the Los Angeles Charger, who I am most certain is good, is Gadsden?
4:16Gadsden, I'm like, yeah, that guy is an above-average player for his position.
4:20Gadsden, I think that is certainly true. Everyone else, I'm not nearly as certain.
4:25I mean, Lad, I think is good. I don't know if I think Lad can have a Jackson Smith and Jigba-style ceiling.
4:32Let's tap the button here on Justin Jefferson. Very happy to click Justin Jefferson at pick number 10 in there, and we will be off to the races.
4:42Probably, we could pair him with Amari and Hampton.
4:45Maybe we do a full Chargers stack on this team.
4:48Yes, USA got my USA. I couldn't find my Brendan Aronson U.S.
4:52men's national team jersey, so we are rocking the U.S.
4:56women's team jersey today. But I thought I would be bipartisan, so I also have the Canada hat on, just to know
5:03that we are standing 10 toes down on North American soccer dominance today.
5:07And, oh man, come on, let me do the patented Matic start with Kenneth Walker and Justin Jefferson.
5:14And, yep, bang, there we go. The most perfect start in fantasy football, Justin Jefferson.
5:19You get potentially the number one overall player in fantasy football.
5:22And we've got my guy Kenneth Walker, potentially the...
5:25I would say his ceiling is probably the third highest scoring running back in fantasy football.
5:31But what can you do? Crazy that it wasn't that long ago in the preseason stuff where all the Chargers were priced much higher.
5:39Herbert was like the quarterback three off the board.
5:42That's true. I did not end up getting any of the right combos in the soccer dailies yesterday.
5:48I do have a pick-em for us to... If you're looking to get in the action here for the World Cup, I do have a pick-em for everyone.
5:57I can go ahead and pop that in the chat.
6:01Very, very simple pick-em, which is Tejan Buchanan. Higher than 1.5 shots attempted.
6:05And my guy, Balagan, for a goal or an assist.
6:08We have got 1.23x multiplier there over on Underdog Fantasy.
6:12If you were looking to get yourselves a little spicy pick-em.
6:16I mean, you could take Jonathan David to score, but I've got Buchanan for 1.5 shots.
6:21And I have my guy, Balagan, for 1.23. And, of course, have the U.S.
6:26men's money line there on Underdog Sports as well.
6:29It's going to be a great day, boys. We're going to have ourselves a time.
6:34GM. Yes, Korea was very fun to watch. My guy, Colin.
6:37Throw on some YouTube to watch while I draft.
6:41I'm the same one as you. Hey, bang. Forward hat today.
6:44Probably not for the entire time, but just so people know that I'm bipartisan.
6:49I will be rooting for Canada in the matches when they are not playing the U.S.
6:54men. And I actually, in the Splash Sports Survivor Contest, I took Canada to get out of this group multiple times.
7:01Splash Sports, it was a very fun contest. Look, hey.
7:05I didn't say I was going to take Hampton.
7:08I said I was going to consider it. I will take, I'll put it on the record.
7:14I will take Lad McConkie in this draft if he's there.
7:17I will even, I will take Lad McConkie ahead of average draft position in this draft.
7:23Chargers, Chiefs could be a super Week 17 banger.
7:26I mean, that could be, that could very easily be the game.
7:30All right, here we go. Lad McConkie upping that percentage so we now have Kenneth Walker, Justin Jefferson, and one Mr.
7:37Lad McConkie. I'm not going to, I'm not going to have myself left behind.
7:42If Lad McConkie is, I need to, I need to try and get to 8%.
7:47Of Lad McConkie. I do not want to be left behind on him because I, I do see it in his profile.
7:54You can, you can kind of squint and see him being in the Jalen Waddle role.
7:59Like, you know, a lot of the, a lot of the shallow average up the target, a lot of screens and things like that.
8:08With the key difference being there is no Tyreek Hill on this team for Mike McDaniel.
8:13I think you could see things go in a great direction.
8:17Wow. I really, this guy ahead of me is auto drafting, which is very annoying because I wanted to take Javante Williams.
8:24I am going to take Josh Jacobs instead. Um, yeah.
8:27Why, why didn't I take pickings at the two Oh three?
8:31Wow. All right. Nevermind. Javante Williams. This guy's not auto drafting.
8:35This is a great start. Justin Jefferson, Kenneth Walker, Lad McConkie and Javante Williams.
8:40Wow. Flock anonymous is a great, great username. That is, that is peak stuff right there.
8:45Um, that, that I love to see. So one of the reasons I like this start is it leaves me multiple.
8:52It leaves me multiple outs positionally. I can take a falling wide receiver at 56.
8:57I can take by shell Tootin or Quinn Sean Judkins at 56.
9:01I think it's fine either way. This could be a Tyler Warren team.
9:05This could be a team where I take an elite quarterback at 63.
9:10I feel like these two running back to wide receiver starts.
9:14Like if you, if you are accepting, you're not going to get Bowers from McBride are kind of the most optimal ways to do these drafts.
9:22I, it's basically the strategy that I find myself following most often, particularly from the right side of the board, left side
9:30of the board, not nearly, um, as often I am.
9:33I am capitulating a little bit to big lad, just a little bit, not, not, uh, not like a crazy amount, but
9:41just a, just a smidgen of capitulating to, to big lad.
9:44Come on. Do you, of all the guys in this range, who is like most likely to break fantasy?
9:51Mike Evans is not going to break fantasy. Garrett Wilson could have like a really good season, but I don't know.
9:58I don't know if he is going to break fantasy.
10:01Igbuka. I don't think can Tet. I don't think can T Higgins.
10:05I don't think can lad lad could have 120 catches.
10:09I was Travoli. My guy, I was very upset about this.
10:12My guy, I, I had the, I had the two, I had the three leg pick them last night on underdog.
10:19I had the two green dots from the original games.
10:23And I was like, Oh, this is easy. Like I feel super good about Pavel Sulk.
10:28I mean, he is like kind of like one of like my guys to watch of this tournament.
10:34And I, I was very, I was, I was very bummed out when he got pulled.
10:40You know, this is kind of, this is kind of where I've landed as well.
10:45I don't have enough Herbert, but I don't love ladder QJ.
10:48Wait, that's, that's kind of where I'm at. So I know from looking at the combos tool, like when I have Herbert,
10:56I bet my most common Herbert pairing. Let's see how many do I have?
11:00So of my 600 teams, I have 39 Herbert teams.
11:04I'm going to guess Gadsden is on a ton of them.
11:08Yeah. Gadsden is on a quarter of my Herbert teams.
11:11Um, may actually slightly more than a quarter of, of those teams.
11:15So Gadsden is the one who is just the easiest to, uh, to stack.
11:20If chase gets hurt, Higgins can break fantasy. I don't know.
11:23I think he'll be very good, but I don't know.
11:27I don't know if he will break fantasy for sure.
11:30A lad exposure quilt. I don't think 1% counts as a quilt G temp.
11:35I don't, uh, all I know. So I tend to agree with this, that all the receivers in like the round three,
11:42round four, after a lava, Rashi and neighbors all feel the same.
11:46So I just think about, you know, how often are those guys going to be, you know, how often are those guys
11:54going to have like a 17 points per game season?
11:57And I think I, I think that lad can my opinion.
12:01I think that lad can. All right. Uh, I mean, I'm going to take David Montgomery here.
12:07I have way more to than Montgomery and I should probably think about evening that out.
12:12My guy behind scooped up. That was smart of him to take by shell tune there.
12:17I think. Can I check the Jamar rice combo?
12:20Yes. Yes, I can. I'm going to guess that one is relatively rare.
12:25Uh, but, but, but. And then we're going to take, I'm actually going to take Brian Thomas over Jordan Tyson.
12:31I only have 11% of Brian Thomas. I have 17% of Jordan Tyson.
12:36All right. We are checking how often are Jamar chase and Rashi rice drafted together.
12:41So I have that on eight of 600 teams.
12:44And that is almost double the field because the field is 0.7%.
12:48Um, am I getting Pat on again? Friday streams with you to early.
12:52Uh, well, actually, honestly, I had asked, uh, I'd asked my guy, Peter over is that, but I think he is putting
13:00his child down to nap right now. But, uh, my guy, Sammy stacks is going to be on here in about an
13:07hour and we are going to hang out for a while.
13:11We're going to see, I'd like to at least catch the second half of the Canadian game, but we'll be, we'll be chilling.
13:19I mean, if we're, if we're just drafting shippers here, then maybe not surprise.
13:23You're not more in on Ted. He has a chance to really consolidate target share.
13:28He just needs some decent touchdown luck to really pay off and be around one pick next year.
13:35So I think the issue with guys like that, with guys like Ted, with guys like Garrett Wilson, with guys like Carnell
13:42Tate, um, is, are there going to be enough touchdowns available in that offense?
13:47Are there just going to be enough long possessions?
13:50So let's do everyone's favorite thing. And let's pull up the Mike clay projection guide and we'll go to the Panthers and the Panthers are projected by Mike.
13:59And I'm not, obviously I'm not saying, you know, Mike, Mike may everyone makes mistakes, right?
14:05But 3,788 passing yards, 21 passing touchdowns, which equates to an unreal target share for Ted 140 targets for Ted 83 receptions, uh, almost 1200 yards, six touchdowns.
14:14You know, it's fine, but how much more can we scale it out than that?
14:19You know? And the answer is, I don't know.
14:22Uh, but, but, but, but, but, but, uh, well, Mike, I am, I am brand new to flock.
14:28I just started, I just joined, just joined the flock this year, right before, right before the NFL draft.
14:35So, so brand new 11 at 12. Oh, okay.
14:38All right. I got to go. I got to go look at this new structure in the Frenchie.
14:44That's very, very funny. All right. We got to go look at this new structure.
14:49What do we have here? What, what is new me have for us?
14:5311 of 12, then one out of five, then one out of three, then a 429 person final.
14:59That is, that's very good. That's a, that's a very good bit.
15:03That's a very good bit for my friend new me.
15:07Really, really funny. All right. Let's do, I mean, I've got an A plus grade going right now.
15:13All right. Here we go, boys. Here we go.
15:16Justin Herbert. Call me, call me Madison Beer the way I'm putting Herbert in my lineup.
15:21Hey. Ooh. Listening to this while landscaping and shoving out new mulch.
15:25My guy, Saucen. Hey, Saucen. I did that two weekends ago.
15:29And man, was that a pain in the ass.
15:32Ooh. What do we add in here? I mean, my homes is kind of fun.
15:37Let's do, I'm just going to do Addison though.
15:40I'm just going to take my, my highest ranked guy.
15:43I'm going to take Addison here. That gives us color.
15:47Would have been, would have been kind of fun though, to potentially take, uh, to potentially take my homes there.
15:53Any update on the Matic kick draft tool that only puts players above an 8.75 brass.
15:59Yeah. We're working on that. We're working on that.
16:02It's, it's downstream. It's downstream. Don't you, don't you worry.
16:05But, but, but, but, but, uh, GM GM, Mike, how we doing?
16:09Oh, this is actually a great point. Malik neighbors is an elite, elite pick in the new Frenchie.
16:15Uh, yeah, I don't, I don't think Malik. Tillman is going to start.
16:20It'll be him or Giovanni Reina. Probably stay woke 99.
16:23So be careful there. Any thoughts on the quarterback landscape with elites going later than usual in the lower tier quarterbacks going higher than recent years?
16:32We, we, I mean, I have many thoughts on this that basically the best values on the board at quarterback are Drake
16:39may Joe Burrow, Caleb Williams, Jalen hurts. Actually now that Jalen hurts is falling a little bit.
16:45Jalen hurts is the single best pick. At, uh, at quarterback.
16:49And I, and I, I don't think it's all that close.
16:52Actually. I, I wouldn't even, who else would be, who else would be second?
16:57I, I I'm unclear to me who else would even be, would be after that.
17:02Yes. Yes. The mat kick. That's what I, that's what I should start calling the, um, the flock overlay.
17:09Uh, I am, I am worried 0% about the playoff schedule for the Philadelphia Eagles because the jail and hurt situation is very simple to me.
17:17Jalen hurts either scores three touchdowns rushing to win you or he doesn't.
17:22Yeah. I mean, my homes, my homes is, is a great value, but look how close they are getting in price.
17:29Now my homes went at 96 hurts when at 75, I mean, jail and hurts is a better fantasy entity than my homes.
17:37It's just the way she goes. Um, you know what?
17:40I'm going to take Kyle pits. I take very little cow pits.
17:44It doesn't actually make sense to me. Why is Kyle pits falling in drafts?
17:49Uh, I drafted some of them. I drafted some of them walking my dog this morning, Travoli, the world cup dailies.
17:56And, uh, and I have enjoyed them. Uh, the flock overlay is doing both.
18:01So in the construction tab, these are descriptive. This is based off the 2 million teams that has already been drafted in, in the past.
18:09Oh man, I should have taken Kyler first. All right.
18:12Well, Hey, this one's for Jacob. We're taking Rashad white.
18:16So the way the flock overlay tools is all the information in this construction tab is based off of, uh, past best ball mania data.
18:24The, the, the last 2 million drafts last six years.
18:28Then obviously the rankings tab is exactly what it sounds like.
18:31It's the rankings of all the creators. And then the combos tool is the more is the forward looking feature.
18:38Feature where it's based off the combos you've drafted.
18:41And it's the, it's based off the combos that we have imported into the site and then projecting out for the rest of the contest.
18:49Summer routines live or die by how easy they are.
18:53And honestly, if something takes too much effort, I'm out.
18:56That's why Grooms is my go-to. It's one daily pack of gummies covering my greens, vitamins and minerals.
19:02Plus it has six grams of prebiotic fiber, which is more than two cups of broccoli.
19:08No mixing powders, no giant pills, no hassle. I just rip open the pack and I'm done.
19:13They taste so good and make it easy to stay on top of my health.
19:18Even when life gets busy, save up to 52% off with code podcast at grooms.co.
19:23That's code podcast at G-U-R-N-S dot C-O. Uh, I don't, I don't think Sebastian Berhalter is going to start.
19:30I, I, I think the midfield is going to be Adams and McKinney, but he will sub in 100%.
19:36How about real ones? Remember the pink U of a kits?
19:40How about real ones? Remember the pink Palermo kits, Michael?
19:43How about that? Eagles having to play the Seahawks and the Texans D and playoff is daunting.
19:49You know, that is maybe where I, I tend to just think, I don't know.
19:54I don't think that we can be as confident in our ability to project what these things are going to be like six months in advance.
20:03Are you going to be as scared of the Texans defense if Will Anderson turns his ankle?
20:09You know, I'm not saying it's a defense we'd want to target, but also even in tough defensive matchups, jail hurts can
20:16just get two rushing touchdowns because that's the way the Eagles offense works.
20:20You know, that's just, uh, that's just how she goes.
20:24Do the Spurs bounce back or Nixon five? I mean, generally speaking three, one in the finals, you get the trailing team
20:31that will let, let the rope go Mike. But I have, I have no real opinion.
20:37Not that locked in. Um, do I take the missile?
20:40I'm going to take Malik Willis here who actually gets a week 16 matchup against my chargers.
20:46And then I'm going to take the missile. What do I know about Macaulay?
20:50I don't know. I don't know anything. Had a team yesterday with to check finished top 700.
20:56Had about six seconds of joy before the offside.
20:59Tough, tough. Maybe, maybe at the, well, actually I was going to say at the end of the stream, we'll do a
21:07daily, but that is not true because we'll still be streaming after the Canada game starts.
21:12All right. Um, all right. I have an S tier team cooking right now.
21:17So three quarterbacks is 17%. Five running backs is 21% historical advance rate.
21:21Uh, but, but, but really any number of wide receivers is fine.
21:25And then three tight ends. All right. I'm going to try and, I got to try and hold on to this S tier advancement.
21:33Uh, the missile great pick here. So we are at Justin Herbert, Malik Willis, Ken Walker, Javante Williams, David Montgomery, Rashad white,
21:41Keaton missile, Justin Jefferson, lad McConkie, Brian Thomas, Jr., Jordan Addison and Kyle pits.
21:45This is, I think, I mean, correct me if I'm wrong.
21:49This is feeling like a potential shipper right now.
21:52Uh, am I crazy for putting some coin on the Bosnia money line and do whatever you want?
21:58I will just tell you the things that I have wagered on today with my own money.
22:04I have the Canadian money line. I have the U S men's money line.
22:09I have Baligan to score a goal. I have Tayshawn Buchanan shots.
22:13I've got Kyle Lahren goal. I've got Miguel Almiron higher than one and a half shots.
22:18And I have, I can't, I can't even pronounce his name.
22:22I'm going to try. You guys are going to try and get a Bosnian, a Bosnian pronunciation for me.
22:28Um, I got to go, I got to go to their, actually have to go to their bench.
22:34Bosnia team world cup. This is going to be, this is going to be the worst pronunciation you guys have ever heard,
22:42but they have this, um, Bosnia has this like 18 year old little winger who plays for Hanover.
22:48I believe no, not Hanover. One of the, one of the mid table Bundesliga teams.
22:53Um, his name is Kareem. A large, uh, a large Bezic.
22:57Red Bull Salzburg. Sorry. Kareem Allah Begovic. Kareem. I'm doing my, I'm doing my best, but I have him.
23:03Uh, I have him to score a goal and I have him to record, uh, higher than one and a half shots
23:10as well on various, various locations with various boosts.
23:13So that's all, that's all I've got today. I, I, I think that Bosnia is going to play very, very, very conservatively
23:21in this game and just hope to beat Qatar to get through.
23:25Uh, I mean, we got to take Gadsden here.
23:28We are all in on the chargers. Herbert Willis, Walker, Javante Williams, David Montgomery, Rashad White, Keaton Mitchell, Justin Jefferson, Lad McConkie, Brian Thomas, Jr.
23:36Jordan Addison. Honestly, I'm cooking with gas right now.
23:39I would be, I would, if you're in my lobby today, I would be afraid.
23:44Anything fun on the top of your head for the 11 and 12 advance.
23:49I think solo will eat quarterback. Solo will eat tight end.
23:53You could take all the injury or suspension guys.
23:56You should be taking Jacobs. You should be taking neighbors.
23:59You should be taking, um, who else is injured or suspended?
24:03I mean, Rushy Rice. Uh, but, but you could take Fernando Mendoza in that contest more easy.
24:09I would think in general, it would just buoy whatever risk on strategy you wanted to do because advancing is going to be so easy.
24:17Uh, let's do, let's take Debo Samuel here. I'm going to, I'm going to keep hammering Debo and Diggs until they sign.
24:25That is going to be, uh, an absolute hammer fest from me.
24:29My guy arrow was zero footy knowledge and Lux box fifth in the daily yesterday.
24:34Beautiful. Yeah, I did. I think I did like five teams today.
24:38I will be, uh, I'll be hammering that contest tomorrow as well.
24:42Uh, what time do the games start tomorrow for the Copa Mundial?
24:46Okay. So they start at what? At 9 a.m.
24:49Qatar, Qatar and Switzerland tomorrow. They have to play Bosnia and Herzegovina.
24:53Can they play with 22 dudes? Maybe. I think this is probably going to end up being, do I even need three quarterbacks on this team?
25:02This might end up being a two, five, eight, three.
25:05I don't, I don't know if I need the third quarterback here.
25:09I guess who would it, who would the third quarterback be?
25:13Do I have anyone? I mean, Tua, honestly, I think I'm starting to maybe slightly err on the side of Tua being draftable.
25:21The, the early reports at Falcons training camp have been pretty bullish on Tua.
25:25Everyone seems to suggest he, he clearly has it.
25:28Um, like he's clearly ahead of Michael Penix Jr.
25:31Right now, which is, I mean, I think probably what we should expect.
25:36Uh, do they update player pools for the dailies?
25:39Yes. If you message, uh, if you message new me and say, Hey, add Ismail Salabari or whatever, then he, there's a
25:46strong chance that they, that they can add. Uh, one of my best friends lives in Toronto and is Bosnian and Canadian had tickets to the game.
25:55Wife had their first kid yesterday evening and can't go.
25:59So that's running bad. Well, I mean, Hey, one of the best days of his life birth of his child, but what can you do?
26:07Okay. Uh, I mean, I think do it, do I dare take Trey Harris?
26:12I mean, can we, all right, we're in, in, in for a penny in for a pound on the Los Angeles chargers.
26:19This is my, my chargers giga mega. My new favorite afternoon hobby is watching you and pretending I'm on a work call.
26:27I love that. I love that Joe. Currently in a slow draft.
26:31I'm in, I'm in a hundred, literally 100 fields, field general slows.
26:35Uh, all right. And I'm going to take Dulcich right here just cause I want to get my stacks.
26:41That's gonna, that's gonna hurt my, it's gonna hurt my advanced grade, but what can you do?
26:47Uh, uh, Sammy, Pete is going to hop on in 10 minutes.
26:51And then when Pete is, Pete is done, that's all you Sammy.
26:55Do I think the field is too confident in players one 60 through 12, 15?
27:00Yes. I would say that's basically the number one mistake that people are making in best ball as everyone has gotten so much better at best ball KD.
27:09Here's, here's a great example. Uh, let's check out the con.
27:13This is actually one of the things I love about the flock tool is being able to check this.
27:20So let's go, let's just check, for example, a pretty shitty pick here.
27:24So let's go Antonio Williams, who is just not a very good pick in my estimation.
27:29He is expected to be drafted. So 6.3 extrapolate that out.
27:33That's about, uh, 80. That's about 80% of the time, roughly that he's being drafted.
27:38Now, instead of Antonio Williams, let's go to Jacoby Lane.
27:41So Jacoby Lane, very similar situation, potentially wide receiver three on a good offense with a running quarterback.
27:48Jacoby Lane is being drafted 2.5% of the time.
27:51You know, these are, these are players who project almost the same.
27:55One of them is being drafted, uh, 2.5. I mean, that would be roughly, that would be roughly about 20% of the
28:02time versus Antonio Williams being drafted roughly about 80% of the time.
28:06Very, very different things. Yes, I am doing that thing again.
28:10All the players I don't normally draft all on the same team.
28:14Uh, any insight are big money winners on underdog fast drafting or slow drafting?
28:19Generally speaking, JT, they are fast drafting, but the reason for that is not as obvious as you would think.
28:25The reason for it is that most people who are drafting on underdog are doing fast drafts.
28:31Uh, Leone did this analysis on establish the run and it was basically like the breakdown is the winners and the, the
28:38winners are about as equivalent as drafting. What percentage of drafts that are fast and percentage of drafts that are slow.
28:45You, you're, you're marginally less likely. We got to take another wide receiver.
28:50I don't really want to take Chris Bell. I'm starting to get a bit sick of taking him.
28:56Let's take. Well, it's, I was just talking about Jacoby.
28:59Let's take Jacoby lane. You're, you're effectively getting about the same rate of expectation based if you're drafting faster, slow.
29:06Um, and I'm actually going to take two up the, the big difference you will see with slow drafts is you are
29:13just less likely to get an insane value. That, that kind of stuff just happens a little bit more often in fast drafts because people are, they're multi-tabling.
29:23They're not paying attention. They're not using a tool or whatever.
29:27You know, uh, I think, I think that is how that goes.
29:31Who is scoring tonight for the United States of America.
29:34I've got my guy Baligan. If you, if you want to take, if you want to take a sneaky one, I don't,
29:41I don't hate taking either of the fullbacks, uh, Anthony Robinson or Sergino Dest.
29:46Um, depending on what happens with who starts, here's a, here's a pretty funny one.
29:51And not every sports book will adjust these odds, but whoever does not start out of Giovanni Reina or Malik Tillman, I
29:59would expect the other one to sub in pretty early.
30:02And so if the odds adjust based on the lineup, you could then take the one that doesn't start and they'd be
30:09like, you know, whatever, five to one, six to one or whatever, which is still like not very great odds, but it's a little bit better.
30:18Nothing feels worse than being completely locked out of a position in a slow draft.
30:23Yes, completely, completely agree with that. Who will run more routes?
30:27Antonio Williams or Luke McCaffrey? Probably Antonio Williams, but not by as much as you would think.
30:33All right. We have got Justin Herbert, Malik Willis, Tua Tagovailoa, Kenneth Walker, Javante Williams, David Montgomery, Rashad White, Keaton Missal, Justin
30:40Jefferson, Ladd McConkie, Brian Thomas Jr., Jordan Addison, Debo Samuel, Trey Harris, Jacoby Lane, Kyle Pitts, Arande Gadsden, and Greg.
30:47Dolcich. Honestly, pretty good team. A team I actually like a good bit.
30:51But I can't quit LMC in the sense that I prefer him to Lane, at least.
30:57I honestly, I don't even think I really know.
31:00Let's go back to the projections. Ravens projections have Jacoby Lane for third on the team in targets.
31:06No, fourth on the team in targets. Well, fifth on the team in targets if you count just as hell.
31:12But I think that's close enough between him and Bateman that you could make an argument either way.
31:19I have Lane over Surratt. Coraine really prefers Elijah Surratt.
31:22So I could see that one going either way.
31:25And then I wonder, what is Luke McCaffrey projected for?
31:28Luke McCaffrey, not projected to play, projected to make the team as a punt returner.
31:33No Washington Lane. Oh, Jalen Lane. Jalen Lane, 23 receptions, 281 yards, and two touchdowns.
31:38If you could start with Bijon and Gibbs in a managed league.
31:42One quarterback, two running back, two over seven, one flex, but not of your third round pick.
31:48Yeah, I'd probably take it. I completely agree with this.
31:52I'm all down for just having fun with the structures.
31:55Like, it's a 7,000 person entrant contest. What do you want them to do?
32:00You know what? Well, I actually need to sink all my drafts on the Flock tool.
32:05Because I realized, let's check my grade. I think I crushed this one.
32:09I have a, like, am I the only one who got an A grade?
32:14No. Gunner TV got an A. I got an S tier for advancement.
32:19I didn't beat very much ADP. And I was not particularly unique, which is fine.
32:24Well, they did. They did do a Frenchie Eliminator, Benny.
32:27And that was actually one of the lone contests that I've missed on Underdog Fantasy yet this year.
32:33If you look at my completed drafts, no Frenchie 2, Frenchie 4, Frenchie 1, Frenchie 3.
32:38But guess what? Frenchie 5 I did. No Frenchie Eliminator for your boy.
32:43That is the only contest on Underdog yet that I've missed.
32:47Oh, the uniqueness argument with Liam yesterday. Famous, famous argument with Chess Liam yesterday.
32:51Small sample of winners. But is any first or second round highly unique team won Best Ball Mania?
32:57In my memory, the most obvious unique thing that has happened to a single roster in Best Ball Mania was the year that Farid won.
33:06And when Farid won, the thing that was unique about his team was that he had gotten sniped on his quarterback.
33:13So his winning stack, if memory serves, Farid's winning stack did not have the quarterback.
33:18I believe that was either... Now, he did end up using Jordan Love's points, I think.
33:23But I don't remember it. Yes, we are going to hop into another draft very shortly.
33:29Am I the only one taking Jayla Null instead of Dell this year?
33:33See, that's actually another example of what I was just talking about at the unique combo.
33:38So let's go... We got Tank Dell, who is being drafted.
33:42I'm going to guess 7.9% of the time. So that is close to 100%.
33:47Yes, that's what it was. He had Love and Reed and didn't have Goff.
33:52That is what it was. I believe that is correct.
33:55There's enough randomness in individual drafts and pod luck that I don't get...
33:59Well, yes. Like, is Liam directionally accurate in the sense that if everything else was equal in projection and all of these
34:07things, if everything else was equal, would you prefer to have the more unique combination?
34:12Yes. Yes. Is... Are we living in a situation where everything is equal?
34:16No. No, we are. We're not. Yes. I mean, and my guy, David Russell here, points out, like, the clearest truism about
34:24fantasy football and about basketball in general, which is that, you know the easiest way to get a unique team?
34:30Get a sick ADP value. Just get a big ADP follower.
34:34Like, oh, and I wanted to compare Dell to Jaylen Knoll.
34:38So, Dell is getting drafted roughly 85-90% of the time.
34:41Jaylen Knoll is being drafted, I mean, 2.3%. That's, like, a really low percentage of the time.
34:47Yeah, and also, Liam doesn't care that much about advancing.
34:50Easy to care about not advancing when you've already won a million.
34:54Did Liam win 2 million or a million? I just snipe an ADP value and stack based on that player.
35:01Yeah, very, very unique. I was about to look up something else that I already forget.
35:06My mind is also a treasure trove of useless information.
35:10I mean, I think we all know that that's true based on my knowledge of where all these guys went to college.
35:17You know, you got to hand it to Soccer Dave from developing the Swoolcast site.
35:22He got ahead of the meaningless games. There is a new meaningless game, by the way.
35:28A zero-stakes game. They have the 1,000, yes, sorry, 1,000,000 and 1 for my guy Chess Lane.
35:33Don't want to short him that buck. But there is a 15-0 version of the game now.
35:39So they have a college football version of 82-0, 38-0, whatever, that I've been playing a little bit.
35:45But I actually, using Claude Code and creating my...
35:48I made a football manager for dads. So I downloaded the FIFA database and gave it to Claude Code.
35:55And I was like, I want to be able to play through 10 years of football manager in half an hour.
36:02So you just click buttons and you say, I want to transfer for this guy.
36:07I want to transfer for that guy. That's my new favorite.
36:11Yeah. It's easy to get unique with site credits.
36:14So I'm not... I'm in generally... People kind of always like...
36:17People kind of always like the World Cup. It's very fun.
36:21The Chase Cup year, pulling up wide receivers you like was good.
36:25Could see fourth, fifth being similar. So, I mean, I don't disagree.
36:29There are spots on the board. Like, I even admitted this to Liam yesterday.
36:34There are clearly spots on the board where you can pull comfortably.
36:38Why is it bad? You could take Zay Flowers over Devonta Smith, and I would think that's fine.
36:44You could take Devonta Adams instead of Jalen Wall.
36:47Or how about Rome and Dunze instead of Loveland and then Rome or something.
36:52Like, that all feels totally fine. Like, what is the...
36:55I bet that's really low. I bet Loveland and a Dunze is a really low-owned combo.
37:00So I've got that only four teams. That happens on less than, like, 10-ish percent of teams compared to Loveland and Burden.
37:08And Loveland and Burden I have together on six teams, and that happens slightly.
37:13Actually, they're right about the same. Wow, look who it is, folks.
37:17Look who is gracing us with their presence on a Friday afternoon.
37:21Wow. Wow. Normally, it would only be for a Swolees only, but what's Dave up to today?
37:26Dave texts me at, like, whatever, 2 in the morning because he was probably up vibe-coding some fucking slop, and he was
37:34like, I can't do Swolees only tomorrow. I got it at my kid's basketball camp.
37:39Pete, the people want to know, are you outraged about the new Frenchie structure?
37:44So I saw, like, one post about it. It filled me in.
37:48What is it? I doubt I'm outraged, though. So it's 11 out of 12 advance in round one.
37:54Wow. And then what does it go to? Then one out of five, then one out of three for a 429-person final.
38:01That's pretty sweet. Week 17 is all that matters?
38:04Yes. I'm not going to make you draft that one because I know your time is worth more than that, so we will draft a baseball mania.
38:13I know. I'm just here for the vibes and the hang.
38:17I don't care what we draft. Well, I'm probably going to draft a Frenchie with my guy, Sammy Stacks.
38:23When you're done. Who's Sammy Stacks? I've honestly never heard that name.
38:27Oh, that's my guy. He was the fan from the Flock League last year.
38:32Oh, okay. Who parlayed that into a full-time job.
38:35There you go. He is now, he's the customer service guy.
38:39So if you ever have an issue at Flock Fantasy, your account's not working, bugging out or whatever, Sammy is the one who answers your questions.
38:48I'm glad you mentioned that because I actually have an announcement.
38:51The winner of So You Think You Can Tout is actually only going to be doing customer support for me.
38:58Dude, I mean, talk about testimonials. Joined Swoleys last month to be in a Dynasty League.
39:03Gotten like two out of five Swoleys show and zero Dynasty Leagues.
39:08That is the literally perfect Swolecast testimonial. You are quite literally getting.
39:12Look, here's the deal. When Dave and I came up with the idea for the Friday afternoon Swoleys only show, Dave didn't have a job.
39:20And I didn't really have any idea of what.
39:23I didn't know I was going to be a dad when we conceived of the idea.
39:28So we try and make the Swoleys only shows and the Swoleys only perks you do get worth whatever four bucks a month it is.
39:37And it also, you know, keeps, keeps, supports the show's existence.
39:41Apparently Diggs, Diggs has been exonerated fully. Pete, apparently.
39:44But still doesn't have a team. Yes. I would call that like the classic.
39:48Isn't that kind of how we were drafting him as if there was going to be no issues?
39:54You know, after, after my experience with the AJ Brown thing, I actually refuse to believe that any amount of news has
40:02ever been priced in ever in the history. Yeah.
40:05I mean, I think we agree on that. I guess I'm saying the price he was at, I was drafting him under
40:12the assumption that he was going to be good to go on the legal front.
40:17Huge news in my full exoneration league. It's true.
40:20It's true. All right, Pete. Do we have any updates on what Rashi Rice had for breakfast in jail today?
40:27No, but he's out of jail in four days.
40:30Four days he will be, he will be out of jail.
40:34And, uh, you know, Andy Reid said, I heard he's doing good.
40:38So it's fine. All right, Pete. What are we drafting?
40:41We're drafting a best ball mania. Potential, potential 2 million, well, potential $1 million after tax bank wire in your future if this is the shipper.
40:50Wow. Wow. I can't. Will this be your, will this be your first time drafting as a guest on anyone's stream this year?
40:58Hmm. It might be, man. It might be. I think I've put out the vibe of just check in with me beginning
41:05of August when so you think you can tout.
41:08It's over. But, uh, for my friend Davis, who gives us so much of his time on ship chasing, it's the least I could do.
41:17Who do you want to take with lamb? Um, I, I'm a cook or Walker guy here.
41:22Well, you know what? Given that I, this is, I don't know if I love this new feature showing me the raw
41:30dollar amount I have invested in these guys on, on the tab.
41:34According to, according to the overlay, I have $1,100 invested in Walker and much less than that on James Cook.
41:41So we're going to toggle that off. Those numbers are going to get absurd in August.
41:46And in August, I think, I think for tax purposes, I probably need to turn that off once it gets to August.
41:53It's funny that like these kinds of tools, you know, they're for the grinders.
41:58They're for people who do a lot of drafts.
42:01But then if you do too many drafts, some of the features become things you don't actually want.
42:07Some of the features become a little bit, uh, a little bit on our CES.
42:12Andy is getting news from his wide receiver one via collect call.
42:16I don't know. Hey, Peter, speaking of, speaking of news, I don't know.
42:21I don't know if you heard Xavier worthy was named training camp MVP.
42:25Dude. I was just going to ask you, uh, if you would discuss the Xavier worthy blurb.
42:31Yeah, I saw that. I mean, it's all lining up until, until, uh, he gets injured in a friendly fire incident.
42:38It's all lining up for, uh, for my guy, Xavier worthy.
42:42I can't believe he's not just a top 100 pick every draft right now.
42:46I can't, I can't believe it either. It's, you know what it is?
42:51It's, I, I think it is a different version of the Quentin Johnston thing where we all didn't believe what QJ did two years ago.
42:59And then we're, we were waiting for any reason to get rid of Quentin Johnston to the point that he wasn't even
43:07getting drafted 100% of the time last year after he suffered that injury, like we were all just done with QJ.
43:14And it's like, man, to a certain degree, like he's going, he's going after Jacoby Myers, man.
43:19He's going after Ricky Pearsall. It's kind of crazy.
43:22Yeah. Especially because we got, we got everybody out in Corrine's neck of the woods, grabbing my homes.
43:28Like you, you would think that all of these forces, the uncertainty around rice, like Kelsey's not an exciting click.
43:35You would think everyone would be zeroing in on worthy as like, this is the one thing that feels good in the
43:43chiefs offense, along with Kenneth Walker and my homes.
43:46Same with, um, I mean the ETR drafters to ETR ETR is way ahead of market on him as well.
43:52Yeah. I do think it's just, we were talking about it with Kenneth Walker.
43:57There's these certain players who the injury stuff, it's impossible for people to get out of their head.
44:03They just can't shake the fact that they feel like they're drafting a guy who's going to play four and a half.
44:11Matt Stafford missed one game 15 years ago with a back injury.
44:15And it took him about 11 years after that to dispel the fact that he was injury prone.
44:21Like that was like the very constant drum beat about Matt Stafford for, for a long time.
44:26And exactly. There are many of these people there.
44:29There are many people who are just like, Hey man, I'm not drafting Xavier.
44:34Where the guy weighs 127 pounds. Can't, can't be, can't be doing it.
44:39Well, he went even back to his prospect profile.
44:42Everyone wanted to say he was a speed merchant and then ignore that he broke out at what age 18 at the
44:49university of Texas with what do you have? Like a 26% market share receiving yard season.
44:54And everyone just said, no, he's just fast. You are, you are preaching to the choir.
45:00I should, I should throw something more spicy in here than just agreeing with your, uh, one of your takes.
45:07Yeah. All right. We got, we got lamb. We got cook.
45:10Uh, are you a, are you a neighbor's drafter right now?
45:14Or are you waiting for the sweet, sweet dipperino?
45:17I haven't been drafting. I'm, I'm like, okay with neighbors in the fourth.
45:21Um, I guess, but I've been passing in, in the third.
45:25I've been getting pretty, uh, lad pilled, uh, in this range.
45:29Yeah. Same. That's it's well, well, there he goes.
45:32All right. Neighbors is there. Higgins is there. Javante is there.
45:36Jacobs is there. I'd probably go Higgins here, but I don't feel super strongly.
45:40And then do you want to take Javante or Jacobs?
45:44I like, I like doing the Javante lamb pairings.
45:47I do too. Yeah. That's, that's actually probably one.
45:50I have quite a bit together. Lamb, lamb and Javante together.
45:53I have, I'm going to guess I have a lot of this, uh, 11 teams on 617 teams.
46:00So slightly above the field on that one. Yeah.
46:03Yeah. That feels about right. I mean, where outside of the, are you clicking?
46:07What, what, what, what Javante do you have percentage?
46:10Would you say without lamb? Like just your one-offing Javante in this range?
46:15Uh, I mean, I'm going to guess right about 8% cause I'm yeah.
46:19Nine, 9.6%. So that means if I have 11 teams, that means I have like almost exactly 8% without lamb.
46:26So that feels right about right. I mean, I think that's the smart move, uh, drafting as much as you, I think
46:33I'm going to end up underweight on smaller volume.
46:36Probably like, I actually, I actually wanted to, I actually wanted to ask you that.
46:41Do you think this is going to be your all time low year in, in volume?
46:47Yeah, I think, I think so. Unless there's a chance that come August and stuff comes off my plate.
46:53I think I'm going to do like an extra best ball breakfast in August and I probably will enter slow draft hell.
47:01I'll probably do it for the eliminator. I'll probably be like, all right, let's rip it in on the eliminator.
47:07So maybe I won't be too far behind, but yeah, I mean, even last year I was at like 400.
47:14I don't see any way I get to that this year.
47:18You know, you're, you're sort of suffering like the, you know, the, the, the champagne problems where it's like, you're, you're, uh, you're just too, you're too busy.
47:27You're too successful. You have too many, uh, plates that you're juggling.
47:31What about, uh, what about BRs? I mean, are you going to be, are you, I'm excited for BRs.
47:38Yeah. I don't think I can do them, the max, the big one every single week this year.
47:44Like that did require some effort to do unless I become more comfortable auto drafting, which maybe, maybe I will.
47:50I don't know. Famously. I mean, famously, I just have so much leisure time, so it's just so easy for me to draft feet.
47:59I'm just, I'm just, maybe I'll multi-table eight BRs before bed every night.
48:03Well, I mean, so, so Pete, you, you would not know this from my amount of volume, but I actually am still
48:10like, uh, I'm still like able to like read a lot and stuff.
48:15And the, the answer has been regimentation of the slow drafts.
48:18Like I'm in whatever, you know, 300 slow drafts or whatever right now.
48:23And the thing is, I just have to carve out 10, 15 minutes at a time, sit down and just whip picks out.
48:31Just be like, I'm clicking, I'm clicking, I'm clicking like, and, and just, you know, obviously the trade-off is like, I am
48:38to some extent losing some advance rate. Or, or, or whatever as a result of that.
48:43But what am I going to do? Not max enter the field general.
48:48I like that. The reason we get FOMO on eliminators, cause I do really enjoy that sweat in season.
48:54And I, I'll be mad at myself if I don't have a full one 50 to look at, you know, week one,
49:02whereas like some of the side contests, I don't have quite as much FOMO because I'm just like, I'll check in week 13.
49:09Do you not, do you not just like, absolutely.
49:12You, you probably don't in like week 17, you don't just have like the, the squidward looking outside.
49:18Like you're just like miserable feeling in week 17.
49:21Um, I mean, to an extent, sure, sure. But like last year we had an awesome high stakes year with our ship chasing team.
49:30Yeah, we did. And that was kind of like, all right, I will put my attention over there.
49:36We're still playing DFS. There's lots of ways to distract yourself, even if you're not having a good basketball year.
49:42Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I had like whatever, like eight finals teams, but it wasn't, it wasn't enough.
49:48I mean, if we get Bucky here, this, I was just going to say, dude, like, I mean, come on, we are, do people not read the news?
49:58I think we got to take, I think even with, I think you, I was going to say you take Lamar and then you take Andrews later.
50:07Yeah. Yeah. I'm good with that fall there. That that's a sweet start, man.
50:12I thought, I thought Bucky was going to snap back pretty quickly after that.
50:16Then he falls further than his ADP. Yeah. Hey, uh, the biggest tournament I've ever won.
50:22I won the Millie maker. Ever heard of it?
50:25Ever heard of it? I won the Millie maker about six years ago.
50:29Well, it weighs 2020. Yeah. It's six years ago now.
50:33How did you hear, uh, uh, Ned's tell the story on often on the clock, the salary cap, uh, DFS draft game
50:40they've been doing it, uh, on underdog. And then the, the, the single game.
50:45Yeah. That there was like a 250 way chop for the top prize.
50:49And I was like, it's early showdowns, you know, era on underdog.
50:53Now I thought the, I thought the whole point of the salary cap, even in the single game stuff with it, do
51:01they just have bad salaries for the first run?
51:04I don't know. I mean, I think I saw crutches say something like there was a team that had a solo shipper going until like the last minute.
51:13Um, it in Wimby wasn't on it on the team either, despite going nuke.
51:18So it just must be the, I mean, it's such a small pool.
51:22I don't know. Yeah. I mean, generally speaking that, I mean, that's how basketball showdown works in general is either you have
51:30some super unique one or the way the salaries and the points shake out is it was like the most obvious combination
51:37that I mean, that was when I did. When the Millie maker, that's what happened was someone else was solo shipping until
51:44like, I believe it was Paul George got a meaningless steal and a three at the end of a game and brought
51:52in like, I think my chop was like 400 ways or something.
51:56I don't, I don't remember the exact number. It's, it's to the point that winning the Millie maker on like my, you
52:03know, the RG like DFS page or whatever, where they assign you points.
52:08Like winning, winning the Millie makers on even in my top 10 of points or whatever, because it was chopped so many ways.
52:15Uh, what do you, what do you think about these, these sidekick ass starts where you were heading into round seven and
52:23we don't even have, um, a full like wide receiver group?
52:27I mean, I like this. So, I mean, we did the exercise on ship chasing the other day where we each laid
52:34out our dream starts and we were pretty in line where we all like to be slightly running back heavy, still have some high end wide receiver firepower.
52:43You guys did the elite tight end thing, but all of us wanted to take a quarterback in round six or seven.
52:51Um, I don't even know if I'd call these like sidekick ass starts.
52:55I know what you mean. I just feel like this feels.
52:59I just mean the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the sacrilegious shady haters who like are in a draft with sack or whatever.
53:07And they take a screenshot of his team and they're like, yeah, good luck with like, I don't know.
53:13It's all, it's all, it's so, it's so, it's so stupid that I can never quite get the tenor of it.
53:20Right. Cause I have seen the criticisms of like, oh, now everybody's kind of drafting how, you know, the boomers were whatever,
53:28but like the sidekick pushes it to the extreme, right?
53:31It's like, oh, you take three or four running backs early.
53:35And the sidekick's like, hold my beer. I'll take six.
53:38Like, like it will push that shit to the extreme.
53:42Yeah. All right. We are up in two picks.
53:45Uh, I mean, Dak is still there if we want to just be done at quarterback Addison's there.
53:51I mean, we could double tap wide receiver too.
53:54Uh, what are you, what are you thinking? Um, yeah, no bye weeks with, with Dak there.
54:00Yeah. I'm fine with that. Yeah. Let's do that.
54:03And then take your, take your pick of wide receivers.
54:06I like a lot of these guys. I've been doing like Godwin or downs.
54:11Yeah. Let's do, let's do downs. No, no, let's do downs.
54:14I, the, the, so there's two things happening at that turn.
54:18That's kind of changed. So I feel the early training camp reports about Godwin not really been that great.
54:25Like it's not, it's not been like, oh, this guy's career is over, but it's more been like, uh, you know, it's,
54:32it's, it's, it's, it doesn't seem like a guy who's like trending to be a huge part of their offense early on
54:39in the season, which then means Shane Steichen would have to be really committed to the bit.
54:45To not only play Nick Westbrook keen over Josh downs, but also play like Ashton Doolin over Josh downs, which would be a crazy move.
54:54Yeah. No, the Alec Pierce one too. It's we get some of these training camp reports that are, they just serve as like a Rorschach test.
55:02It's like the blue dress gold dress all over again.
55:06And if you're an Alec Pierce bowl, you're like, it says he's still going to probably be fine for week one.
55:13Who cares? And if not, you're like, they don't even know if he's going to be ready for training camp.
55:20What if that lingers? That does not seem good.
55:23So I was already skeptical about the Alec Pierce stuff.
55:26It feels like everyone immediately got anchored to the contract in that one beat reporter being like, he's going to get 13
55:33targets a game is my projection for him. And it's like, everyone just ran with that.
55:39Beat writers have never known the amount of plays.
55:42Beat writers and coaches do not know the amount of plays in an NFL game.
55:47Like you ask, you ask a beat writer about touches per game and they will give you a team running a hundred plays a game easily.
55:56They'll just be like, yeah, 10, 10 carries for this guy, 12 targets for that guy, six targets for the fullback.
56:03Like they have never have any idea. Somebody should host, you know, like that book, super forecasting, the Phil Tetlock book.
56:10Someone should host that for beat reporters and see how many of them are willing to sign up and do play the
56:17forecasting game for the team they cover. Well, this, I mean, you, you actually should be very familiar with this.
56:24This used to be kind of, I mean, related to this.
56:28Because Rotovis used to do their fantasy football previews when they'd start, but they would bring on a beat writer from every team back in the day.
56:37That was like the first Gretchen Pat collab, I remember.
56:40And they were like killing themselves to interview every single beat reporter.
56:44It was a great series though. It was a great series.
56:48You learned a lot. But, I mean, it'd be harder to pull off today.
56:53Or maybe not. Actually, maybe it would be easier to pull off today because a lot of guys are starting to do their own things.
57:01Like a lot of guys are starting to be like, I've seen maybe my Twitter for you page is just more hip to this.
57:09But I've seen like five different guys over the last week be like, I quit the Detroit Free Press.
57:15I started my own sub stack or whatever. Yeah.
57:19Yeah. It must be so hard for those guys.
57:22I mean, because where they get themselves into trouble is when they want to be more of a columnist than a beat reporter.
57:29They want to give their opinion on it, how they think it's actually going to play out.
57:35And it's like, man, we just want the news.
57:38Tell us who's hurt. Tell us who's running with this.
57:41Tell us who made this catch. Tell us this quote.
57:45We do not care about your projection. Some of them, if I think a guy's any good, I don't want to know Ben Albright's takes on the situation.
57:54God help us. I saw Sam tweeting about a Harold Fanning groin injury.
57:59I had missed that one. I missed that too.
58:02I've definitely been on the Brooks train here. I'm fine with it.
58:06And I'm a Casey. I am too. Yeah. I think, I think I would say right now, if I was setting the
58:13betting odds for the clip this year, I would say Concepcion probably is elite.
58:18He's probably like plus 210 leading the way right now.
58:21I mean, Ted Hurst, I think, is good. Can we, I mean, we could easily break the rule and do a second
58:29year player and just bring back the tootin clip that Lennars has already made.
58:33Yeah. Yeah. So the, the reason Casey Concepcion is such a good, the clip doesn't work for like a top 60 player
58:41because we're just not going to get him enough.
58:44Even if we love him, we'd have to be like two rounds ahead of ADP love to do it.
58:50But I did, I saw some of the comments I was reading through them on the ADP chasing.
58:56And I do also, I could see Travis Hunter because we're going to select.
59:01So I didn't, I think someone said his ADP is like two rounds later, even on FFPC than underdog.
59:07So we could end up with a shit ton, but it's these guys that are going to fall because the FFPC crowd
59:15is not going to want to deal with the Browns.
59:18They're not going to want to deal with a rookie.
59:22They're not going to want to deal with a defensive back.
59:25And we're going to end up with a bag of them across our drafts.
59:30I mean, I project that Travis Hunter ends up being our most cut player of all time and in the entire history
59:37of ship chasing, because the same reasons why I'm very comfortable picking him in like round 13 on underdog are the same
59:45reasons why I'm like, that guy's going to be miserable for us to deal with.
59:50But we will take him a bunch for sure.
59:53And I'm more, I'm, I agree with you. Like I, I will pound the table for Hunter on underdog a ton, but
60:00I'll probably be more, you know, team need specific in our FFPC drafts.
60:05Like if we have seven wide receivers, I'm just going to be like, can we just take the second tight end or the fourth running back?
60:14Like I love Travis Hunter, but to your point, the whole thing we love is that at some point in the season, someone's going to get hurt.
60:23They're going to change their mind. They're going to have an offensive philosophy change.
60:27And all of a sudden he's going to start playing, but we might not be able to hold on for six, seven,
60:35eight weeks in, in redraft as we really, in, we're going to, what, what spot do you often churn?
60:41Your seventh or eighth wide receiver? Yeah. So I don't know how many, how many times in my life have I added,
60:49cut, added again, McCall Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, Jalen Royals, you know, Tyquan Thornton, Hollywood Brown last year.
60:54You know, we, we, we, you know, we're, we're very, very familiar with this.
60:59It's just, just the nature of the beast. I believe our first FFPC draft is coming soon, right?
61:05Our first episode will be coming pretty soon. We're going to, once Jacob's back from his trip, I do think we're going
61:13to reg very soon, which means many sodes will be coming.
61:16And then we also have talked about having maybe a live stream in July for one and, and basically try to spread
61:24them out a little bit more and not have them just all be, you know, a blitz at the end of August.
61:31Yeah. I, I mean, I love that. I like getting, I like drafting early and often.
61:36So very hip with that. Uh, all right. Well, definitely.
61:40Well, there's the Andrews. Do you want to take Ferguson too?
61:44Double it. Perfect. Yeah. All right. Lamar, Dak. Dak, cook, Javante, Bucky Irving, Jonathan Brooks, CD Lam, T against Josh Downs, Concepcion.
61:51What if, what if one Friday afternoon changes our lives, Pete?
61:55And this is it. And at the end of the year, it's me and you.
62:00And, and crane is the one crane and Sam come on and they're like, are you guys going to join the exclusive
62:07club of, of, of, of best ball made up $2 million winners?
62:11Could be, could be. Yes. I will always remember this draft is the one that I'm watching my toddler on the monitor
62:19as she does quiet time and starting to get a little antsy knowing I have about 10 minutes left.
62:25And, uh, can we land the plane in that same amount of time?
62:29You, you can, you can leave whenever you want.
62:32Uh, and no, this, this is a, this is a shipper here, dude.
62:37I like this one. I was going to say, because you, you will actually be before going the equity.
62:43If you have to leave, you'll, well, not for going all of it, but just for the proportional amount of it'll be proportional.
62:51Yeah. So that's why based on these turn picks, I just want to, I need to hold on until what?
62:5815, 16 to get maximize my proportional share. Yeah.
63:01Cause, uh, I've had this, I've had this conversation with Liam before when Liam and I used to stream every Wednesday together
63:08where he was like, all right, man, like I'm going to, I'm going to leave, but I'm here for the first eight picks.
63:16And equity had a, had, had an all timer with Liam yesterday, like a true, like 90 minute long argument, uh, with, with one Mr.
63:24Chess Liam yesterday. You show me some of the comments.
63:28And then I was trying to reverse engineer what the conversation must've been, but it was an argument where you were disagreeing
63:35with him and everyone said, except his olive branch of trying to help you become a better player.
63:41There were, there were multiple arguments. There were arguments about Kayshawn booty about Parker Washington, but the, the ultimate argument was we were drafting.
63:49We took Jefferson and then we were up at the two Oh three and I took Hampton and Liam wanted me to
63:57take George Pickens at the two dot three for the uniqueness because of how rare, because of how rare the combination would be.
64:04And I was just like, buddy, it's not how it works.
64:08It's I'm not, I'm not doing that. And, and then that led to along at some point, Liam's camera unplugged itself from his computer.
64:16So he was gone for like two minutes. It was just, it was, uh, it was, it was a great, it was,
64:24I got the full chess lean experience. What do you got?
64:27What are you guys doing? You're alternating doing it on one of your channels each week and collabing.
64:33Yeah. Although Liam said, if you're going to stream for like another hour after this, then don't even send me the collab.
64:41Cause let's, let's, so I said, okay. He, he doesn't want to be associated with any content of you by yourself on his channel.
64:49That's hilarious. Very funny. Uh, format of the FFPC is it's more or less the same thing as underdog, except it's managed.
64:56It's, it's, it's same thing. You, you try and get out of your pod there.
65:01It's a little bit more intricate than that in terms of like the league and everything, but none of that really matters.
65:09It's basically a big fantasy football tournament. Just like this.
65:12Is that there are legitimate prizes, cash prizes for winning your league.
65:16And I would say is equally as top heavy as like a week 17 thing.
65:21Um, you want to do Boston report stuff is really good right now.
65:26We do have conception already. I think that makes me like it even more.
65:30Okay. And then do you want to take one of these dust ball running backs and then I like spears or Samson or yeah, we have a Bucky.
65:40So no Tucker. Do you like spears? Uh, I think those three guys are basically all the same thing.
65:46And spears is the one that doesn't mess with the construct of our, of our team.
65:52I don't know if we want, I don't know if we want three Browns without, I mean, I guess we could take Deshaun Watson or whatever.
66:00Yeah. I'm okay with it. Like our, our quarterback room is good.
66:04And we basically just build out a Brown stack and don't deal with the quarterback situation.
66:10Simple process. Not sure there's anything else, uh, to explain there.
66:14All right. How are we sitting here? Tool likes it.
66:17Getting some ADP value. Lamar, Dak, Cook, Javante, Bucky, Brooks, Spears, all different bi-weeks for the running back room, which I like.
66:24Like Lamb, T, Downs, Concepcion, Boston, Andrews, and Ferguson.
66:27Uh, would you, I mean, I would almost always take a third tight end on this group.
66:33Have you been, uh, you've been following the, the three tight end debates?
66:38Yeah. I mean, I, I just think the tight ends and the wide receivers are the best picks these last four rounds anyways.
66:45So it just kind of funnels you there if it's even remotely on the fence of which way to go.
66:52You know, Pete, I actually have a, like a pretty serious question for you here.
66:57Are you worried that with your distance from the best ball community this off season?
67:02I can't believe what I do is considered distance.
67:05It's such bullshit. Like I realized what curve you're grading on, but I reject the premise so much.
67:11Distance. I do a four hour fucking best ball stream every Monday.
67:15By distance. People are worried. The best ball bros video might not hit.
67:20They're worried. They're worried. I'm actually worried about that.
67:23That's the fair one, but tell me this. And maybe it's just my own, you know, myopia or whatever, but I feel
67:30like we haven't had as many quintessential best ball bro moments this summer yet.
67:35Like I haven't gotten in a fight with anyone yet.
67:38Wouldn't you say last summer, dude, it was every other week.
67:42It's like, no, it's every, there was something. It was something.
67:46I mean, what are the most, what are the tentpole things that have happened so far this summer?
67:52The, the SIM stuff with the, all the early running backs, but like, that wasn't even.
67:57I would say, honestly, I would say right now, probably the biggest thing would be ever like everything relating to a legal case.
68:05Like, honestly, like if I were to, if I were to create a narrative of what's happening, I would be it's Rice
68:12Jacobs, you know, just like everyone involved. Like Diggs has a court case.
68:17Henry Ruggs is not granted parole. Like it feels like, it feels like every day I checked my, uh, uh, the Rams left tackle just got arrested.
68:26These are not, these are not very fun. Uh, but I would say, I would say that's been the, the trend.
68:33And we've, I've kind of played with that over the years where it's like, everybody turns into a medical expert.
68:40Everybody turns into a legal expert. Um, maybe the best ball space has just evolved so much that we're just kind of
68:47circling the same narrative storylines at this point. But I'm all ears.
68:51If people have great moments that I need to be sure to parody, like, please help me.
68:57Yeah, please. Someone, someone, someone help Pete. Oh, you know what?
69:00All the slop tools, all the, all the slop tools is pretty good.
69:05That is good. Everybody's spinning up their own stuff.
69:08Yeah. Um, wide receivers here. Whoever you want. We can do Hearst with Bucky.
69:13Uh, I'm, I'm, I don't mind Jeremy. Um, do you have a favorite of these tight ends?
69:18Do we have any bring back stuff we need to consider here?
69:22Fryermuth has a weak 15, 16 and 17 correlation with all different parts of our team.
69:28I'm good with Dulcich or Fryermuth or Stowers, dude, if we want to just whatever.
69:33No, Dulcich, I'm, I'm trying to, I'm trying to get my bags up on him.
69:38Um, yeah. Um, people, I am saying Rambus is the biggest star of the summer.
69:43Uh, dude, Rambus, uh, you want me to read, uh, an Instagram DM?
69:47This is, I'll read this to you. Rambus versus Maddox slap-a-thon with you overseeing it.
69:52Davis has already been on the verge of doing something with me.
69:56Let's figure it out. I'm not the orchestrator here.
69:59Orchestrator spelled wrong. You know what's the best move that'll do numbers.
70:04I have faith. First off, I just, I gotta say, um, moment of the moment of the off season for me thus
70:11far of best ball season has been watching more people learn about PPR Tyler and, and the toxic tower crew.
70:18That's been very fun from the $500 site credits.
70:21Yes. I'm, I don't, I'm, I don't want your video to be too self-rent, self-referential though, is the issue.
70:27That's, that's my thing. Like for me, the summer has obviously been defined by, so you think you can tell, but I
70:35want best ball bros to be a standalone thing.
70:38Obviously there probably has to be a nod to it, but I will just be completely honest.
70:43I'm going to do a best ball bros, but it might look completely different.
70:48It might have a different approach or angle to better.
70:51Yeah. Hey, you know what? There's plenty of time, plenty of time, lots of time.
70:56Like we're dude, we're in the, we're in the dugout slapping each other's asses.
71:01And think about this, dude. I'm not even really a part of the best ball community right now.
71:07Wait until I am. You're on the outside. You're on the outside looking in, dude.
71:12You know, I'm worried about your distance from the community.
71:16All right. Uh, my daughter is about to burst down, kick down the door here, but this was fun.
71:22Looking forward to having 84% or whatever 16 of 18 is equity.
71:26Hey, you know what? My gift from you being a good friend, a hundred percent equity for my guy.
71:33Wow. And you know what, Davis? I'll even collab this full thing on my YouTube channel.
71:38Wow. Wow. That's how it's done, folks. That's friendship.
71:41All right, man. Big day. Huge day. Big day.
71:44Canada kicks off a chance to, I would assume this is the first time Canada has ever been favored in a World Cup elimination game.
71:52I don't, I don't believe they've, they've never won a group stage game before.
71:57I believe this might be the first time they have a chance to be favored.
72:02Would we have been last in 2022? It was, what was it?
72:06Belgium, Croatia, and. They might've been favored in the third game, but they were also already.
72:12I don't even remember who it was. They were, they were, you, you, Canada was eliminated already.
72:17So I don't remember. We had no shot. Yeah.
72:20And we drew anyways. So, but yeah, no, I think like, like the, the books specifically, like I just saw on FanDuel,
72:28we're like minus a thousand to advance out of the group.
72:32And I'm like, okay, you know, home field's good, but it's not that good.
72:36Like we are. It's not nothing, dude. It's not, no, it's definitely not nothing.
72:41I was just shocked to see that because I don't think that, that this team is like, you know, very much, if
72:48at all better than Bosnia and Herzegovina. And we don't have Davies.
72:52So. Bosnia. I saw them in person last week.
72:55They are, they are not very good. We aren't good either though.
72:59They're, they're quite poor. Yeah. I mean, they've been, what, who they've had some, they've had some dudes, Ed and Dzeko.
73:07Um, who else have they had? Uh, Pjanic. Maryland Pjanic.
73:10Yeah. I, so I, I saw Bosnia play last week.
73:13They played a friendly here in St. Louis because St.
73:17Louis is the biggest Bosnian population outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the world.
73:21Uh, during the, during like the Yugoslav, like during like the Yugoslav reformation, apparently I don't, I don't exactly know why, but they like basically like the whole.
73:31Company or the whole country came here. Um, so we have, I think we have like 60,000, uh, Bosnian expats in St.
73:38Louis. So the game was crazy because it was like full throat.
73:42Like everyone was all in, they were, they were loving it.
73:46Um, I saw them play Panama who also, they were not, neither team was very good, but they were trying.
73:53But the Bosnians for the first half were like all in, they were like, we really want to score.
73:59We were trying super, super hard. Uh, they were not very good though.
74:04They did. They did their best. All right. Let's recap this team here real quick.
74:09Then we'll go draft one. Lamar, Dak, James Cook, Javante Williams, Bucky Irving, Jonathan Brooks, Tajay Spears, CD land, T Higgins, Josh
74:16Downs, Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, Ted Hurst, Elijah Surratt, Zabion Thomas, who I saw someone on.
74:21I saw someone on X, the everything app. And I all, I already wanted, I already wanted to be drafting, uh, Zabion
74:29Thomas because I, there's a path for someone to be a third wide receiver and like a running back, uh, on there anyway.
74:37But I saw someone on Twitter say, Zabion Thomas is the closest movement to Tyreek Hill I've ever seen.
74:43Um, and that was, that was all I needed.
74:46And the, the flock computer gave me an A.
74:49So I love that. This shit is so funny to me.
74:53It's like, you could have, you have an opinion on something, right?
74:57You're excited about something. One, one random dude who you've never seen before posts some shit on X.
75:03It's like, yep, no, no, I, I completely agree.
75:06And yeah, I mean, it's called, it's called confirmation bias.
75:09And that's, that's what I'm, that's what I'm looking for.
75:13That's what the summer is for. All right. We're going to draft.
75:17I want to see what this is like. We're going to draft the Frenchie.
75:21Yeah. I saw this. This, this is, uh, I mean, look, throw the rankings out the window.
75:27Dude, straight up. So like, this is fun. Yeah.
75:30This is the contest to be like, you want to take Malik neighbors.
75:35You want to take Josh Jacobs. You want to take, uh, I don't know who else was hurt.
75:41I mean, Mahomes, if you think there's a chance that Mahomes misses some games.
75:45Surely Alec Pierce is like a fourth round pick now, right?
75:49Not, not, no. And not in my computer. In my computer, Alec Pierce, to me, I never adjusted.
75:55Here's, here's an interesting one. If Alec Pierce had like, how many, how many yards did he have last year?
76:02A thousand and three, I think. So if he had four less receiving yards, what do you think his ADP would be?
76:09He could be like ninth round. There's no, this is, look, I think that, I think that it holds weight with like
76:17people are able to, it's like when you want to call a guy old.
76:21So you say he's about to be 29. Dude.
76:24And then if you think he just turned 28.
76:28I'm the king of that. I'm the king of that.
76:31I'm like, Derek Henry is going to turn 33.
76:34His birthday's in like January. So I'd like, oh, this is his age 34 season.
76:39That's how I've been. That's how I've been referring to Derek Henry.
76:43He's always about to turn 34. He's literally, he's good.
76:46Like, like by the time the season ends, he'll be 34.
76:50Like you gotta, you know? So yeah. I mean, this, this shit, this shit.
76:55I think that with the, the Alec Pierce thing, like people know, I don't think anybody's like, you know, I guess there
77:02are people out there that are like, you know, he's this thousand yard guy now, but it's, I mean, there are, there
77:10are for sure people that are like, this guy's a thousand yard guy now.
77:14Yeah. Which he could be, and could also be a bad pick in the seventh round.
77:20I think. Yeah. I don't think he's, I mean, I guess maybe he's finer.
77:24And this format is really just like, I would say, I would say probably, I guess you just like really correlate super strong.
77:32Like you just try and get your, you just try and get your stack there.
77:37There you go. Derek Henry will turn 35 in 18 months.
77:41That's a great line. Who are we taking? I mean, I don't see why you would deviate from JSN here.
77:48No, I, I agree. Yeah. I think that, where was I going with this?
77:52This is one of the, this is one of the ones where like, I would be very interested to see how a Sim attacks this.
78:01Oh, that's actually, that actually, that actually is a good question.
78:05If, uh, I don't know if, if sack, if sack or shady are here, I would be, I don't know if either
78:12of them are here right now, but if either of you guys are here, I actually am very, very interested in, I
78:19would guess it would, it would just have to work backwards from week 17 because it, yeah.
78:25And also it is just imagine being the guy who comes in 12th in your French pod.
78:31You know what? If you don't, if you don't draft that, like if you draft a hundred teams on underdog this year,
78:38if you're not someone like me who's drafting a thousand, you should do all three of your, I think this is three
78:46max do all your entries in this. That's going to juice your advance rate, brother.
78:51You're going to, you're, you're going to look really good on the screenshot.
78:55Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. So it's one of three, one of five.
78:59Is that correct? I think it's one of five, one of three, one of five, one of three, four hundred.
79:06So, so almost 10% of the total entrance in this make the final.
79:10That's wild. So yeah. So, I mean, week 17 is, is all that matters.
79:15So we got weeks, week 17 is literally all that matters.
79:18I think you, you definitely, I would say this format, you definitely want McBride or Bowers.
79:24I would say, I, I actually think you take, I'm going to take McBride.
79:29You want to pull them up? Sure. I, I think that this is the number one format that you should want McBride
79:36and Bowers and, and probably, and probably Josh Allen.
79:39And I, that's just, that's just my, my first gut instinct is that the, the coolest or the best thing you would
79:46have in week 17 is the tight end who projects the highest.
79:50That was my, that was my first time. I mean, I don't know if it's true, but here's what I'm thinking.
79:58Here's what I'm thinking though. So McBride is going to be in what?
80:0298% of probably not that high, whatever 11, you know, 90, 92 or whatever it is, percent of week 15 teams.
80:09Yeah. So then he's, if he gets us to week 17, he probably gets, like, I feel like there's gonna be a
80:16lot of the same teams in this format specifically that end up making the final.
80:21Yeah. Yeah. So then do you lose that advantage?
80:25It would, it would almost be more, it would almost be more like you're just not coming in without a disadvantage maybe is maybe how that works.
80:34Um, I mean, I think if this guy doesn't take breeze at, yeah, I think we take breeze.
80:40Sure. Cause I think you, you still are, you still are going to want the high end running back outcomes.
80:46Like it's, it's the same thing. Like you don't, you don't want to come in with, uh, you don't want to come
80:54in with like Jalen Warren as your, as your running back one.
80:58I mean, neighbors, neighbors are neighbors is, is obviously a jam here.
81:02Now this is also true. There's just going to be a ton of shitty teams in the pods like that.
81:09Like think of, think of how bad some of your 10th place, like think about how bad some of your 10th place best ball teams were last year.
81:18Well, exactly. And then you, what are the odds that you like get a shitty team through and then you think, uh, you know, uh, 33% outcome.
81:27Right. 15. Like you could also know it's one of five, one of three.
81:32So yeah, there will be a lot of bad teams, but then those bad teams won't.
81:37Make it to the final. And if the final is all that matters.
81:42Yeah. I don't know. This is a weird one.
81:45I think I, my first instinct was just like, yeah, just draft a good team.
81:50And then, you know, you're like, you're gonna with, with the idea that you don't care about the early season worries with,
81:57I mean, I would say in general, that is probably just good advice.
82:02Like just, just draft a good team, just draft a good team, bro.
82:06Just draft a good team, bro. Like, I, I mean, so, so much of a, so much of like all the things
82:13we talk about with best ball are wrong or not wrong, but just like their total, their total window dressing.
82:20And really the only thing that does matter is having good teams.
82:24I mean, at the, at the end of the day, that really is the only thing.
82:30Yeah. Cause I imagine you look at this, like if anybody decides to, you know, do a post-mortem on this Frenchie six
82:37contest, once it's done, I don't think we're going to, I'm going to, I'm going to guess not that many are going
82:44to be doing it, but you never know. I don't think you would.
82:49I don't think there's anything to learn from something like this.
82:53Okay. We are. So Jacobs went, the neighbors team also took Jacobs.
82:57That's funny. I mean, Cam, I like Cam. Yeah, there you go.
83:01That's that. I was going to say, that's, that's a good one where like, I like, I kind of like Cam Scadaboo anyway.
83:08And I guess, I guess that is a good point, which is like the one of five, one of three.
83:15It won't be like super, super chalk anyway. It'll just, I mean, there'll, there'll obviously be some really funny teams to get
83:23through because they're in a one of five pod in the quarterfinals and that team, like they're just in a pod full
83:30of like terrible teams or whatever that like, that's definitely true.
83:34I think the variance is probably really higher on the, the, the quality of the team that gets to the final as
83:41well, because you could have a shitty team that goes off in that came 11th in the pod and then goes nuts in week 15.
83:50Yes. Yeah. I mean, that is, that is, is definitely true.
83:53Stewie. Yeah. Stewie here. Neighbors. Jacobs is, uh, he's, he's, he's watching the show and he says he's, uh, he's shipping it.
84:01I mean, at the end of the day, I I'm going to, I'm going to file this one away very quickly because
84:08I still, I mean, I still have nine, I have 90 teams left to draft in the puppy too.
84:14I'm trying to find, trying to find the shipper there.
84:18You, is this going to be, is this going to be a big enough tournament for you to make the drive to go register for some slows Sammy?
84:27Well, the thing is, is because of the game today, I normally I go on Friday evenings, but I went yesterday.
84:34So I don't, I don't, I would have to, it would have to last and I don't mind missing this one.
84:41Honestly. No, no. I, I, the only one I've missed thus far and I was sad to do it is I missed the Frenchie eliminator.
84:50I'm not, I'm not, I didn't do the Frenchie eliminator.
84:53I'm not well versed enough in the, in the eliminator strategy to want to do those.
84:59I haven't, I haven't started thinking about it really at all.
85:02So I think we should take, I think we actually should give some ADP values to someone else here.
85:09Cause the running backs are about to fall off a cliff.
85:12Which one of Swift, Bucky or Judkins or Price?
85:15I'd be, oh gosh. I mean, the correlation with price, he kind of fits.
85:20Works for me. Yeah. Definitely. Definitely. Definitely a chance.
85:23He's worse in a week 17 based format, but not, not a hundred percent.
85:28I mean, I, I am higher on price than other people are.
85:32It seems. Cause I just, I, Charbonnet was like kind of like a below replacement level talent.
85:38Anyway, the reports this week are confusing to me because for the longest time, like, I mean, look, you've, you've mentioned the, uh, what is it?
85:46The summer of the peptides and like, no, these guys, I'm, I'm like convinced dude.
85:52At this point, at this point, I'm, I, I know someone, my guy, dark side dev looked it up yesterday and said,
85:59it's already banned by the NFL, but that honestly not convincing to me.
86:03Really? It's not. Mike McDonald was asked, like, could he play week one?
86:08And he said, anything is possible. And I'm like, okay.
86:11Well, okay. That's not, I don't think that's possible, but the fact that, you know, the talk has been October.
86:18I saw Jeff Mueller, like basically said that he's very skeptical of that just because of the surgery was so late, but
86:25yeah, he didn't have a surgery until I, I never, I never, um, read why that was like, why his surgery was
86:33not until, I mean, maybe the swelling was really bad or something.
86:37I don't know. This is a, I think, you know what?
86:40It's kind of similar to, um, what, uh, I heard, I think Pat said this with you about Tootin and Rodriguez.
86:48If, if, if Charbonnet off of an ACL tear coming back in October makes Jadarian Price a bad pick, he was probably
86:55a bad pick in the fifth round the entire time.
86:58It was very good logic. I love, I love getting, I love, I love when Corrine gives me like, if I make,
87:06cause I was already taking a ton of Tootin and by making that bet, I was already saying, you know, this doesn't, this doesn't really matter.
87:14Um, so I think I, I, I also think elite quarterback is super important here.
87:20So I think that would be, I mean, now it would be hurts for us.
87:25I think. Yeah. Try and get lemon on the way back too.
87:29I like that. We have a little bit of, was that they play Seattle in week 15?
87:34No, they play Seattle in week 17, which is.
87:37No, they don't. They play the Niners. No, they don't.
87:41You're right. Uh, I just saw on there. Week 15?
87:44It's 15. Okay. I haven't, I haven't, I never have the, uh, it's C.
87:49Wow. It's their, their playoff schedule is. Yeah. Their, their playoff schedule is not correct.
87:54I never have the 15, 16 pulled up on my, when I'm drafting just cause like I, it's almost like that where
88:01I I'm there where it's, it's too much information.
88:04And if I'm making, like, I feel like it's just the screen gets so packed and I'm like, if I'm making decisions
88:12based on that, I need to, uh, see, I, I like it because when I get down to the end, I'll have
88:19like, Oh, do I want to take tank Dell or do I want to take Ted Hearst?
88:25Or do I want to take Zachariah branch? And then tell yourself a story.
88:30Yeah. No, one of them will have correlation with all three.
88:33Like one of them will have the week 15, 16, and 17 badges all up.
88:38And then I'm like, okay, well, I'm going to take the one.
88:42I'm going to take the one who, you know, I do like different ways.
88:47Yeah. If you're playing it where you're, you're trying to get multiple correlating pieces.
88:52So lemon goes at the turn here. Um, tough, that's fine.
88:56Tough scene. That's right. We're going to, this is going to end up being a Goddard Stowers team.
89:02I think both. You see, that's fine. That's perfectly fine in this format.
89:06You just need, you know, one of them to hit each week of the playoffs.
89:11And you're, you're kind of chilling. You know what?
89:14Good format for Alec Pierce. Cause it is a good format for Alec Pierce.
89:19I don't think he's a phenomenal pick anyways, but, uh, no, I mean, one of these, well, yeah, all the running backs are gone.
89:27So one of these wide receivers. Ah, geez. I mean, if you're fine with Pierce, I like Sutton.
89:33I don't like Metcalf. I don't, I don't like any of them.
89:37That's why it's why my exposures in this round must be, I was going to say my exposures in this round must be really wonky.
89:46Well, look at the, I mean, this is so funny of the guys who go here, 5% Metcalf, 5% Dak, 1.3% Sutton, 6% Herbert, 11% Reed.
89:54I have like 5% of everyone in this round.
89:57And then a bunch of the guys who go after I'm above weight.
90:02I'm above weight. Like, well, I mean, 21% of my homes takes care of a lot of the, uh, round seven exposure for me these days.
90:10Uh, Jaden blue, Jaden blue last run of click.
90:14I I've been, I've moved Jaden blue back into the, the clicking architecture for myself.
90:19There's been some buzz a little bit. I don't love getting like healthy scratch as a rookie, but you know, so many things can happen.
90:27You know, famously Devin Hain was scratched in his very first NFL game.
90:31People, people forget Devin Hain was a, was a healthy scratch.
90:35No miles, miles Sanders. Uh, that line when Keaton Mitchell doesn't play week one, eh?
90:40That's going to be your Keaton Mitchell is going to do if Keaton.
90:45Okay. If Keaton is not playing week one, I will have, I will have large problems.
90:50There will be, there will be, there will be big problems.
90:54There will be problems in my portfolio. Uh, if Keaton is not playing week one.
90:59So it's fine. That's hilarious. That's really good though.
91:02Hey man, I mean, look, you know, the role isn't figured out yet.
91:06So. Yeah. All the soccer dailies filling. That is, that is a big W.
91:11That's awesome. A little bit worried. Well, it was, it was bad timing from them.
91:16They kind of got screwed by the world cup, like doing Mexico first.
91:20If the USA had played yesterday, I think they, they would have filled more because more people are excited that the USA, um, is playing today.
91:29Like no one, no one cares that much. I mean, no one, no one in my real life knew that Czechslovakia and, uh, uh, we're playing last night.
91:38It was a good game. I enjoyed that one.
91:42To be honest, that was, uh, look, I love, I love the world cup.
91:46I'm locked in. You were in bed already. I was, I was in bed.
91:51Yeah. I did not watch that. I, I, I, me and my brother were talking yesterday.
91:56We're trying to find the most unwatchable game because they have games at like midnight, right?
92:02Yes. Yeah. So like Eastern, they have games at midnight Eastern that are getting played on the West coast.
92:08And, um, yeah, there was a couple, I think like, uh, Japan, Tunisia on like a Wednesday at 12 AM was pretty bad.
92:16There, there, there's like a, there's a really bad one.
92:19Uh, Jordan. Oh, uh, we need a wire receiver.
92:22Oh, I'm just kidding. I'm taking over. Yeah, that's fine.
92:26Yeah. That's fine. Uh, there, there, it's like, there's like a Jordan one that I don't remember whose group they're in, but it's like awful, awful stuff.
92:35Um, so I'm, I'm really, I'm really out. I actually don't know what does this mean?
92:40Where, where did the name, where did Mason get the name flock?
92:44Do you know? That's going to be like, I mean, I think he was just thinking of, uh, you know, something alliteration,
92:52literally, literally anything that alliteration and something that, you know, represented a group of people.
92:57The flock. It's good. It's good. It's sharp. It's good.
93:00I think from him. It worked clearly. So yeah, it's, it's a, it's a fantasy.
93:05It's a fantasy flock. It's true. It's a fantasy.
93:08Speaking, speaking of that. Yeah. Famously. That's his, it's funny.
93:12His underdog handle is the, is the reverse of, of the channel.
93:16This, the, the, the votes on this, um, take place.
93:19What you guys, the, the creators are all doing this on Monday.
93:23Um, I believe there will be a call that they're doing.
93:27I think, I think Wednesday is when they're meeting.
93:30Okay. So people still have time to submit. And even then, like, even if you don't get in the first round of
93:37submissions, they're going to do multiple ones. Okay. All right.
93:41So there you go. So if you guys want in the most popular fantasy football league in the world, with, uh, with,
93:48with Sammy and potentially myself, we got to see what Jinx is doing.
93:52Potentially me too. My, my involvement is, is not, is TBD as well at the moment.
93:58Okay. All right. So potentially Sammy and I, uh, well, I mean, downs made it all the way around.
94:04Dart is there with the Arizona stuff too. Um, we do have the Arizona stuff.
94:09Oh, actually dart here. I think dart is, I think, I think dart is, you can get Michael Wilson and Josh Jones types later.
94:17I like dart there. Yes. Yes, we can. Hunter.
94:20I mean, a free roll, a free roll into a $100,000 fantasy football league.
94:25Pretty good. It's, it's pretty, it's pretty nuts. It is pretty nuts.
94:29I mean, yeah, like 10 K. I remember like at the, you know, we were doing, we were filming the, the draft
94:36order video last year and Mason, Mason had his, uh, his, his girlfriend at the time fiance now come out, his brother as well with this big briefcase.
94:46We're like, what is going on here? Uh, $10,000 in ones in this briefcase.
94:51And we were all like, oh my gosh, this is insane.
94:54And now yeah, 10 X. So mill next year.
94:57So get in early. Imagine, imagine, imagine like, uh, like Coca-Cola sponsors it next year.
95:02And it's, it's straight up like $250,000 in first place.
95:06Why not? Why? Exactly. Why wouldn't it be? You know, Mason is famous enough.
95:11The thing I've always wanted in my life is a diet Coke sponsorship.
95:15Mason is famous enough that he could probably know someone who knows someone who could set that up for me.
95:22Hey, Dave. And you know, you'll never know if you don't ask.
95:26I'll never know if I don't ask. That's going to be what next January or next February when Mason is on his yearly vacation.
95:34I'm going to be like, Mason, I want you to put out some feelers, you know, talk who you need to talk
95:41to diet Coke sponsorship for the Davis Matic best ball channel.
95:45I'm saying brother, that would be, that'd be pretty wild.
95:48That would be pretty wild. I would be, I'd be the greatest brand ambassador they've ever had.
95:54I would, I would, I would move, I would move units.
95:58There's no doubt about it. Chipotle too. So, uh, all right.
96:01We have got Hertz dart. Michael Matthew golden's there.
96:04Brees, Scadaboo price, JSN, Pierce, and more. I mean, I think we take.
96:09Golden. Casey. Yeah. We got some, we got some, uh, bringbacks.
96:13Perfect week 17 pick as well. I think. Yeah.
96:16I like that. Yes. Yeah. Oh, that's actually that.
96:19I mean, that's, I guess that probably should be the most obvious thing is rookies are very good here.
96:25Great, great. Can, can, you know what? If Gatorade wants to reach out, that also works.
96:30Can Gatorade sponsorship. Yeah. We're doing that. See, I'm more of a, I'm a Coke zero guy.
96:36I'm supposed to diet, but I'm there. Like, yeah, that would, uh, okay.
96:41First down fantasies with me. Yeah. Yeah. They're out there.
96:44I mean, they're just, the thing is they're two very distinct drinks.
96:48Coke zero just tastes like Coca-Cola. Diet Coke. It's supposed to.
96:52Diet Coke is its own thing. It's a different, it's a different drink.
96:56Yeah. Exactly. And I've always liked that. I've always liked the zero more than the diets.
97:01It's unfair. Honestly, I'm, I'm, you know, I don't hold many grudges, but I'm angry about what I was told as a
97:09child about aspartame and I'm not, I know dude.
97:12It's not, it's not right. They miss. Yeah. It's not right.
97:16Like, Oh, you want to drink a full sugar soda instead, bro?
97:20Seems crazy. Yeah. Like it's like, yeah. Okay. You know, you can't have, don't have this like tiny little bit of aspartame
97:27where you would need, you know, 40 a day for it to have any effect on you.
97:33Instead, here's 60 grams of sugar in a 355 milliliter can.
97:37It's true. Milliliter. You could tell he's a good Canadian.
97:40He's a good Canadian lad there with the milliliter.
97:43Do they, what does it say on your cans?
97:46Ounces. Oh my God. And how many ounces is that?
97:49What? Like eight, 10? I'm going to take Goddard.
97:52Cause I'll be too mad if we don't get him.
97:56Yeah, let's do it. Uh, a can of diet Coke, I believe is 12 fluid ounces of, uh, 12.
98:02Okay. I, I, I, I think it might be.
98:05I don't even think about that. Yeah. Yeah. Milliliter.
98:08Uh, yes. Hey, if Ron, if Ron, Ron, Ron's not, Ron's not the level of fame of Mason.
98:14Ron's, Ron's got a big channel though. Ron probably via his like YouTube, like brand connect probably could know someone who knows
98:22someone who could potentially get, uh, an organic Chipotle paid marketing campaign.
98:26It's true. That'd be awesome. They just, I, there's been a Chipotle.
98:30They put one in near me like last summer.
98:33It's been there about a year. Best thing that ever happened to me, honestly, before that, the only one was like downtown
98:40at like the, like the main mall, um, like the big mall downtown.
98:45That was the only one. So like, I, like I would never get it.
98:49There, there is a, there is a, a drive through Chipotle within like a stone's throw of my house.
98:56How does that work? Exactly. So inside the restaurant, there's the normal Chipotle, like the front where you like go in, like,
99:03Oh, I want to take blah, blah, blah. And then they have all the same ingredients set up in the back by drive-through window.
99:11And there's just one guy who works there and he just makes your mobile order.
99:16You drive through and you say, Hey, my name's Davis.
99:20And he hands you. So it doesn't have to be a mobile order or can you like, has I seen the order?
99:27Okay. Yes. No, no, no drive-through. There's a drive-through.
99:30Do you have, you probably don't. Is there a moot?
99:34Is mucho burrito a thing in the States? It's definitely not.
99:37Yeah. If it, if it is, it's not in the Midwest.
99:41No rookies, rookies are fine. Benny rookies are smashes here.
99:44Yeah. Likely goes, which I wouldn't have hated here.
99:47My guy, my guy, JCM is still there though.
99:50Everyone is being such cowards about this. Non, this injury for JCM is not real.
99:55Yeah. Let's do it. He's fine. He's fine. Guys settle down.
99:59Ja'Cory Krosky-Mera is fine. JCM, JCM is so, JCM is so fine that, uh, Ben Standig, who is, I would say probably
100:07the best commanders beat writer just wrote like a whole profile of JCM about how the team is like really working with him on his pass catching.
100:16Like they're really counting on him improving there. And the way some people took that is, well, Oh, JCM is going to fail at that.
100:24And Rashad white is going to be the starter.
100:27I took that is the exact opposite, which is that we don't want to play Rashad white, all these snaps.
100:34We want JCM to get better so that he can play this role.
100:38And, and Rashad white can just be Austin Eckler.
100:41Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm, I'm definitely by the end of the summer, you know, unless some prices get crazy.
100:48I think I'm going to be over on Rashad white.
100:51I like, I really liked clicking Kate, John Allen.
100:54Are you going to have, are you going to have 42% of Rashad white?
100:59I'm not going to have 42% of Rashad white, but I do.
101:03I do think here's what I'll say. There are worse, there are worse players to have 42% of.
101:09I like Rashad. I love clicking. I just don't.
101:12I just don't know. I really, I, it, if I was going to pick a list for Jacob specifically and his brand,
101:19that might be the, it might be the worst or at least the least likely player for him to have 42% of.
101:27I just think, yeah, I, it's up. I don't think that bill is that good.
101:32And no, I don't, I don't think he's that good either.
101:36I really don't, which is why, like, I think that, like, that's why I like taking Katron.
101:41But I click a bunch of bill too. Like that range with the two Minnesota backs and the two Washington backs.
101:48I love, I love grabbing my RV three or four there.
101:52As, as I've been taking more JCM, I've also been taking more Katron because if I'm wrong about JCM Katron to me is the more obvious beneficiary.
102:01A hundred percent. Yeah. Um, you want to do one of the quarterbacks?
102:06So I think this format is definitely worse for three quarterbacks because we're feeling fine about advancing.
102:11Let's take a, let's take a, yeah. Yeah. Debo.
102:14I think three quarterbacks as like an advance rate play is, is probably quite bad in this would be my guess.
102:21I would, it's interesting. Cause also I think that, you know, the, we have enough ceiling with dart and hurts probably that
102:29like, what, what, you know, and how many simulations of week 15, 16 and 17 is Sam outscoring them or does Sam Darnold hit our lineup?
102:38You know, even though we have more often than you would think my, my friend easy has ran these and, and he
102:45found that third quarterbacks add more points than you would expect even on, even on good teams.
102:51Um, but it, it just is an advance rate play and, and quarterback prices.
102:55Like we'll see how dynamic they are in, in this.
102:59It should be, um, uh, more, more dynamic. Uh, Justin, Hey man, I love you.
103:04And I, but you were, you are misinformed. I am not a rich man.
103:09I am, you know, I have no complaints in my life and I'm able to feed my family, but mistaking me for
103:16a rich man is, is not accurate. I big, I think it's because of all the leisure time.
103:22It's because all the leisure time. I big news for you.
103:26Trent book it with Trent. Oh my God. On Bosnia.
103:29The money lines, three 90. I mean, maybe he's, maybe he's got some crazy off market line or something, but.
103:36See, that just shocks me. That's big news. That's big news.
103:40Uh, and I, I, I, I am, um, Oh, there's like a real, there's like a really good word here them.
103:47You know, I'm, I'm, I'm Switzerland here. I I've got my, I've got my U S women's team Jersey on and I
103:54have my, uh, my Quebec hat on. So I am, I am, I'm willing to, I actually probably have a Canadian Jersey around here somewhere.
104:03I couldn't find my U S men's Jersey today.
104:06So they're still falling. Both of them. Um, that, which I think is right.
104:10I think that is the room adjusting to this in real time properly.
104:15I think we probably need another receiver. Uh, which one of these guys is getting us 21 points in the right week.
104:22I don't hate to slaw, but you don't have to, you don't have to talk to me twice about Hillsdale's finest.
104:29Yeah. Yeah. I think that, you know, they don't seem to be one of the teams that are leaning a ton into the heavy personnel.
104:38And I don't even, I don't even think I could name the line.
104:42Second tight end right now. Do they still have like, uh, uh, who was that?
104:47There was a guy and it's not going to come to me.
104:51Uh, well, James Mitchell was, uh, James Mitchell was a quarterback in college converted to tight end for them.
104:57They do. And like the, is Dan Skipper still there?
105:01Do they, are they going to do a lot of the, cause they do the six offensive line.
105:07He retired. He did retire. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I mean, either way.
105:11Brock, Brock, right. Was there back? Right. So you don't, I don't think it is still Brock, right.
105:17My memory is that Brock, right. Actually got a contract from someone else, but it could be, no, I'm wrong.
105:24Uh, it was, it was Tyler Conklin. They signed.
105:27Oh, shout out. Okay. So, so maybe signing Tyler Conklin, maybe they will do more of it.
105:33I don't know. It's possible. Yeah. But yeah, I don't know.
105:36It's Tyler Conklin. Well, Hey, Tyler Conklin, Tyler Conklin, uh, did, did keep Gadsden on the bench for like three weeks last year.
105:44I mean, without a Will Disley injury, we're not talking about it.
105:48This is who I was going for. This is who I was going for.
105:53Of course Danny. Of course. Look, yeah. You need something like that.
105:57There's nobody I'd call before I called a Ladster.
106:00Well, you know, his, his brother was a 10 Rask guy.
106:04Brandon Zylstra was a legit 10. And he was on the Vikings.
106:08Okay. Yeah. There you go. Lord. All right. I mean, this is a, I think this is a good Sean Tucker team.
106:15I actually think, uh, handcuffs actually let's take big speak for the correlation.
106:19This is a opposite of best ball mania where taking handcuffs has fallen out of fashion where zeros are not going to
106:27be nearly as penal in this format as they would be in best ball in a two out of 12.
106:34Yeah. Zeros are, are way more acceptable here. Cause you're getting through.
106:38Yeah. Uh, Tyler Conklin, there was a stretch where both Conklin and Disley, not last year, but two years ago for the chargers were like legit.
106:46Like every week I'd be doing waivers in the main event.
106:50And I'd be like, one of them, whoever was starting that week when the other one was injured was projecting for like 11 points.
106:58It would be like, wait, wait, that will like that same will be and it'd be like, yeah, will this leads like a legit pickup.
107:07He, uh, yeah, man. I mean, and then like he got hurt, which allowed around a Gadsden to, uh, to hit the field.
107:14People forget. People forget. I mean, Gadsden, I am hoping for big things for my guy Gadsden this year.
107:21We'll, we'll very much, we'll very much see. I mean, I have, I have a lot of them, uh, at this point.
107:28Oh, Leron Robinson, dude. Uh, oh man. What college for Leron Robinson?
107:32I'm guessing that one might be out of my wheelhouse.
107:36I'm going to guess Missouri. Leron Robinson went to, come on, Illinois state.
107:40All right. Oh, yeah. That's not great. It happens.
107:43Do you play, do you play any of these, uh, Claude slop geography games?
107:48Like geosports? No, I haven't. I was big on geoguessers back in the day, so I'm sure I would enjoy them.
107:55If you're, I was going to say, if you're good at that, the, the geosports one is great.
108:01It'll be like Canada won their first ever European or Canada won their first ever FIFA match wherever.
108:07And then the answer would be wherever they're playing.
108:10I think they're playing in LA today. Toronto today.
108:13Toronto. Oh, wow. Dude, if they lose today, send, shut it down.
108:17Shut it down. If you can't same, same for the U S men, by the way, if the U S men cannot, they're playing in LA.
108:26Yeah. They're playing in LA. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, okay.
108:29I think we, I think we do take a third tight end.
108:33I think I, I'm curious if the, do you want to do fryer move stowers or T Ferg?
108:39I kind of like stowers here. Yeah, let's do it.
108:42Um, I, I would actually guess that probably the Sims would disagree with that.
108:47They'd probably say it's bad. Cause you're just wasting a spot, but I think that, okay.
108:52Yeah. You're wasting a spot. You're also increasing your chance of like, we need Jalen hurts to have a big week.
109:00Obviously that could be Jalen hurts. Yes. Jalen hurts has to.
109:03Yeah. Well, that could be without the tight ends.
109:06Of course he could run in, you know, three touchdowns, whatever, but stacking the tight ends.
109:12We are increasing our chance of having the guy who has the big week connected to hurts while also not really hurting
109:19our chances of advancing at all because it's 11 of 12 and we have driven pride.
109:25The, the early returns on stowers at training camp have not been great, but I don't care.
109:30I don't care. I don't, I, yeah, it's not something that, that like that I would be worried about.
109:37Danny, I am, I'm about 800 drafts away from the Emerald badge.
109:41So I'm going to have the Emerald badge by the end of this off season.
109:46Oh heck yeah. Uh, Wicks, Ridley, Fields, Mooney. I mean, Wicks probably, right?
109:50Yeah. Load up. Why not? It was, it was always Jalen hurts without Devonta Smith and Barkley, Barkley, Barkley gets hurt.
109:57Devonta gets hurt. Jalen just puts the team on his absolute back.
110:01That's the, that's the story we're telling here. And this is going to be perfect timing.
110:07We are going to wrap up just in time to go watch Taysha and Buchanan calmly slot one past whoever that it's not as mere Begovich anymore.
110:16So whoever the Mitch, let's see, I'll find it.
110:19He was, he was Begovich was still playing in like high level.
110:23He was the lead. He was for, he's playing for leads like two or three years ago.
110:29Yeah. Uh, Nikola Vasili. He plays for St. Pauly.
110:32Yeah. Wouldn't have gotten that one. Uh, I do check my best ball teams every week, Justin, but you really shouldn't.
110:39I would say I check, but for your mental health, what does, uh, what does check entail?
110:44Like I have BBM DB pulled up every day.
110:47I'm sweating. Okay. If, if a Sunday, if a Sunday in DFS is going bad enough, I'll, I'll check my best ball teams on a Sunday.
110:56I don't care. I'll, I'll, I'll look at the, I'll look at scores of individual teams on a Sunday, which is not a healthy way to live.
111:05This one's killing it this week. Week three BBM number 44.
111:09Good week. I mean, and then it'll be cause like, cause I also check all the seasonal teams too.
111:15So it's just like, it's, you know, there's a lot, there's a lot going on on Sundays.
111:21All right. We got one last pick. Honestly, we should take another wide receiver.
111:26Yeah. I'm with you there. Um, I mean, I love Elijah Surratt.
111:30Uh, everyone loves every more, some, some bearish news on some bearish news on Mooney today.
111:35The, the giants beat writer said, it looks like he's going to be a role player, which is who is what he should be.
111:43Yeah. Who isn't a role player? Who isn't a role player?
111:47What does that mean? You know, you know, what does that, uh, I like, I like Carnell Tate just fine.
111:54I, I do have Tyson ranked over him though.
111:57So I don't end up taking a ton of Carnell Tate.
112:01I, I'm not as pretty. I didn't start drafting until later in the, in the year last year.
112:07Where was Ted McMillan going in the beginning of June last year?
112:11Was he a fourth round pick the whole time?
112:14I honestly, I honestly don't. I honestly don't remember.
112:17That's because I want to say like, yeah, that's the one where I don't fully understand.
112:22And like, I wasn't taking a ton of T Mac in the fourth round, but I don't get why the massive gap.
112:30Like, I think that he was probably like on the whole viewed as a better prospect, but it's a similar situation, right?
112:37It's a, it's a, it's an unproven quarterback in terms of what he can provide the passing volume for an offense.
112:44It's a very clear opportunity. I don't think the Panthers had a Wandale Robinson, depending on how you view Jalen Coker, I guess last year.
112:53But I mean, I know, I know Danny loves Tate.
112:56Um, yeah, I don't, I don't fully get why there's a, like a two round gap, you know, because T Mac was
113:03like a three, four turn guy, middle of the third, middle of the fourth, sorry.
113:08And Tate is, you know, just a full turn.
113:11I mean, a lot of it is, I mean, obviously it's a lot about how well does Cam Ward play?
113:18It's like, if Calvin is young though, if that's where I'm getting it.
113:23Because, but Ted is like locked into like 25% target share.
113:26Like Tate, Tate could be like, cause Wandale's going to get his scam.
113:31Helm is, Helm is a good pass catcher. And then it's like, how much is, cause Ridley could eat his lunch if he's healthy.
113:39Potentially. And I, I more mean Ted's ADP last year.
113:42Like, honestly, I don't even, I really, I really don't even, I really don't even remember.
113:47I believe, I believe it was like late fourth though.
113:51I know that he, he ended up in the middle of the fourth creeping up to the three, four turn.
113:58And, and that's where I'm like, it feels like a similar projection to me.
114:02Yeah. You know? Yeah. I do. I hope he's good.
114:06That would, that would be, that would be fun if my, if my favorite team had a good player.
114:12Yeah. That's always nice. All right. Let's go watch, uh, Canada, take it to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
114:18Everyone make sure to like the scream, check out my stuff over on flock fantasy code Davis link to that.
114:25It's in the description and in the comments. And, uh, I've got a banger video coming for you guys out Saturday morning.
114:32Later. Bye. Bye.
