Blake Corum

PositiveBreakout12:32

Pete Nova identifies Blake Corum as a breakout candidate for the Rams, highlighting his 11 games with 11+ carries last season, 5.1 yards per carry efficiency, 746 rushing yards on 145 touches, and red zone involvement (at least one red zone carry from week 6-16). Corum is ranked RB 31 and could be the most valuable handcuff in fantasy football.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection0:21

Watson is a dynasty buy at a discount due to injury concerns, with the potential for big things ahead given his 38% air yard share in just 10 games last year despite a crowded Packers offense.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:22

Watson had 18 deep ball targets in just 10 games with an average target distance of 17.8 yards, showing elite deep ball involvement from Jordan Love.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:22

Watson is a touchdown-dependent player who has shown sticky touchdown production when healthy, with 6 TDs in 10 games last year and 7 in his rookie season.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:22

Watson commanded 38% of air yards in just 10 games last year, ranking in the top 20 of the NFL, demonstrating his elite target share despite the Packers spreading the ball to multiple receivers.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout16:48

Jeremiah Retzlaff calls Christian Watson a breakout for 2026 following his four-year, $110 million extension with the Packers. Watson is expected to see 22-25% target share (up from 15% last season) with Dontavian Wicks and Romeo Dobbs out of town. He's an excellent vertical threat (17 yards per catch career average) at a depressed price point around WR 33 in startup ADP.

Insight page
PositiveValue20:20

Pete Nova rates Christian Watson as an absolute steal in startup drafts at WR 33 ADP, noting he is higher on consensus with him in dynasty rankings.

Insight page
PositiveProjection20:20

Pete Nova notes Christian Watson was WR 15 in points per game last season with 13.2 PPG in just 10 games, and he commanded 35.8% of the Packers' air yards. With improved health and target share, he projects as a potential top-15 wide receiver for fantasy.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeProjection4:12

Chuba Hubbard showed poor efficiency metrics last season: 33rd in yards created, 20th in yards created per touch, and 100th in EPA at -5.3, indicating significant bearish sentiment for his continued role in the Panthers offense.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveRole18:00

Jaden Reed is mentioned as present in the Packers offense but is expected to play a secondary role behind Tucker Craft and Christian Watson in the truncated receiver tree.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveBreakout3:25

Jeremiah Retzlaff identifies Jonathan Brooks as a breakout candidate for 2026, citing his youth (23 years old), recovery from lower-body injuries, and lack of competition in the Panthers backfield. Brooks is valued at RB 36 in dynasty markets and has significant upside given Chuba Hubbard's poor efficiency (33rd in yards created, 100th in EPA at -5.3) and the Panthers' decision not to bring in additional competition.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveValue19:30

Jordan Addison is mentioned as a comparable draft target to Christian Watson in terms of ADP and value positioning in dynasty startup builds.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveMatchup21:50

Pete Nova characterizes Jordan Love as a gunslinger quarterback who is willing to take chances and put the ball in harm's way for his receivers, similar to what fantasy players wanted from CJ Stroud. Love's willingness to air it out benefits his wide receivers like Christian Watson.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

PositiveValue8:20

Pete Nova prefers Kenneth Gainwell over Jonathan Brooks, noting Gainwell could get closer to a 40% workload in the Eagles offense. However, Gainwell's 73-reception season was tied to Aaron Rodgers' dump-off system, and Baker Mayfield may not provide the same volume, though 50 receptions is still possible.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeBust12:00

Jeremiah Retzlaff identifies Kyron Williams as a sell, noting his declining red zone usage and opportunity share due to Blake Corum's emergence. Williams has the most fumbles over the last two seasons (10), with critical fumbles at key moments, though Sean McVay has shown loyalty to him historically.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveValue19:30

Michael Wilson is mentioned as a comparable draft target to Christian Watson in terms of ADP and value positioning in dynasty startup builds.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveBreakout0:25

Washington is a strong dynasty breakout candidate at age 24 with sustained success, commanding the slot role in Liam Cohen's offense where he has a clear connection with Trevor Lawrence.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:26

Washington was drafted as WR36 in best ball and WR38 in dynasty, receiving 95 targets last year and 41 targets in the final four games when it mattered most.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:28

Washington was fourth in explosive play rating and eighth in deep targets last year, showing he can produce both in the slot and on deep routes despite his smaller frame.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:29

Washington is still available at a very good value in dynasty and best ball, with potential for a contract extension similar to AJ Brown that could increase his draft price.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:30

Washington is more sustainable than Alec Pierce with a clearer trajectory to 100-110+ targets, making him a better long-term PPR play than Pierce despite similar draft capital.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveDepth Chart17:30

Romeo Dobbs is noted as being out of town for the Packers, creating a narrower receiver tree that will funnel targets to Christian Watson and Tucker Craft.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveRole17:30

Jeremiah Retzlaff highlights Tucker Craft as the primary beneficiary in the Packers offense alongside Christian Watson, with the offense expected to funnel through Craft (especially valuable in tight end premium formats) and Watson. Craft is a 6'4" player with 4.36 speed who was a round-two draft pick in 2022.

1:28Pete Nova here with Player Profiler. Today, we are going to talk about six players in Dynasty Fantasy Football that we view
1:35as breakout candidates for the 2026 Fantasy Football season.
1:38I am joined by my co-host, Jeremiah Retzlaff. Jeremiah, what is going on, my friend?
1:43Another episode right here on Player Profiler. Hey, podcast Pete.
1:46Happy to be with you on this beautiful, fine evening.
1:49And we're all talking about right now, we've been doing the stock market of, hey, who's been most liquid traded?
1:56And that is trendy. But we want to give you something as we're shifting.
2:01We want some actionable things here. These are players who are going to break out.
2:05Three and three, Pete. I'm going to go with starting off, it's going to be Jonathan Brooks.
2:11Jonathan Brooks, a second-round pick just a couple seasons ago with the Carolina Panthers.
2:16He's had so many injuries. It's been a really tough run out for him.
2:20And it's, can he recover? It's all in that same side, same part of the lower body that has impacted and hurt Jonathan Brooks.
2:28And we don't have the cumulative stats. All you have really is the run out against Chuba Hubbard and the lack of
2:36efficiency that Chuba Hubbard had in the last season.
2:39So what I'm looking for is Jonathan Brooks. He goes right now at the 10-11 turn Dynasty market, RB 36, 132.
2:45And he keeps creeping up in the underdog streets.
2:48And to me, there's just so much bullish signal there for him.
2:52You had Chuba Hubbard last year who was, for efficiency, 33 in yards created.
2:5720th in yards created per touch. 100th in EPA at minus 5.3.
3:01So there's a lot of bearish nature for Chuba Hubbard.
3:04And there's a lot of bullish sentiment for Jonathan Brooks because shy of Trevor HM, you don't have any competition that's been
3:12brought into this backfield for the Carolina Panthers. And to me, all the coach speak, the general manager, they're all talking about
3:19how Jonathan Brooks has been hitting the weight room good.
3:22He's been working his tail off. And he is my perfect breakout player, especially in the second half of the season.
3:29We shall test. Can he recover? But guys who are younger, he's going to be 23 years old when the season starts.
3:36This is the exact type of player that you want when they're younger and we have these injuries that are severe.
3:43We have more faith that they can bounce back.
3:46It's when they get a little bit older into the late 20s, early 30s, where we're much more cautious.
3:52But with science and medicine, I'm going to bet on Jonathan Brooks.
3:56And the Panthers showed their tell by not bringing in any other competition for Jonathan Brooks.
4:02So the Chuba Hubbard, the contract, the sentiment, the love for Chuba Hubbard that the Panthers have, which still remains, helps Jonathan
4:09Brooks because we're going to get another player in that backfield and that opportunity share to eat in.
4:15It's going to be Jonathan Brooks. Snap share last year for Chuba Hubbard was 40th at 47 percent, and he had a 42 percent opportunity share.
4:24So there's plenty in that offense, in that run game, especially for Jonathan Brooks.
4:28What do you think, Pete? Yeah, I think Jonathan Brooks feels like the trendy name right now.
4:34And I think for good reason. In fantasy football, there are so many sharp players right now in fantasy football.
4:40And I just think that there's not as many edges or the edges kind of change.
4:46And it's kind of like musical chairs of where can you kind of place your bets and where can you find edges?
4:53And a player like Jonathan Brooks right now still feels like you can get an edge on him.
4:59You know, in dynasty right now, you know, he is ranked as the RB 36.
5:04Right. So he's valued right next to Tony Pollard.
5:07He's valued next to J.K. Dobbins, Kenneth Gainwell. Gainwell, I think you can make the argument that I would personally prefer Kenneth Gainwell over Jonathan Brooks.
5:15But I still do like Brooks overall. But you got like Stevenson, Zach Charbonnet, Rico Dowdle, Blake Corum, Jonah Coleman.
5:22So he's in that range of players where it's like old veteran that is really like almost like on one year deals.
5:29Not in the NFL, but one year deals for dynasty where it's like, you know, the shelf life.
5:35They can drop off a cliff very quickly. And so they're kind of fragile players.
5:40And then he's kind of mixed in with some running backs that are in maybe some competitions that haven't really done a
5:47ton yet or, you know, have an entrenched starter in front of him like a Blake Corum or like a Jonah Coleman.
5:55You know, so I think he's fairly priced right now.
5:58Obviously, it's unprecedented. And we talk about edges like, are you going to bet on a player that's torn his ACL, you
6:05know, multiple times in the same knee? It is a it is a risky bet.
6:10But the truth is, we bet on him coming into the NFL post ACL.
6:15And we weren't that worried. And we were confident enough to take this guy top five in rookie drafts.
6:21Right. And, you know, the Panthers were confident enough to take him when they did in the NFL draft.
6:27Now, a second injury to the knee, of course, like that feels scary.
6:32But overall, guys come back from these injuries better than we've seen in years past.
6:37Now, it's a little bit unprecedented. And I don't think Jonathan Brooks can be viewed as a guy that's going to be,
6:44hey, you're going to get three, four years from him if he gets the starting role and looks really good.
6:50But you could be buying him low and still getting maybe one to two years worth of production.
6:56What is that necessarily worth for you? I still would prefer Kenneth Gainwell.
7:01But I think the ceiling for Jonathan Brooks is higher because I think Chuba Hubbard is a worse running back than a Bucky Irving.
7:09And so I think Jonathan Brooks could truly get closer to getting a 60 to 75 percent workload versus Gainwell, who's probably
7:16closer to like that 40 ish area, even if, you know, if he's playing really, really well.
7:22Yeah. And you have to take into account. It's very appealing to sit there and say, well, Kenneth Gainwell already has a 73 reception season.
7:30But then again, that is tied to Aaron Rodgers.
7:33It's perfect dump off city. Baker Mayfield fully capable, but I'm not sure we're going to get that same run out.
7:40But I still think we could get maybe 50 receptions for Kenneth Gainwell in the two seasons prior for contacts on Gainwell, 16 and 30 respectively.
7:48Now, Pete, similar backfield share, backfield carry, some sentiments and positivity.
7:52You have Blake Corum of the Rams as a breakout.
7:55Tell me why we should expect Blake Corum to break out.
7:59Yeah, I was never really the biggest Blake Corum fan just because I was a really big Kyron Williams fan.
8:05But I think as you play fantasy, you'll find analysts, some of them have their heels dug in and some of them
8:13have the ability to be a little bit more fluid with their takes and with their viewpoints on players.
8:19Because as you know, Jeremiah, in the NFL, just like in fantasy, things change very, very quickly.
8:25And while, yes, Kyron Williams was given an extension coming into last season, we saw something we hadn't seen since Kyron has been the guy.
8:33And that's an actual true kind of split down the stretch with Blake Corum.
8:37When you look at what happened with Blake Corum last year, he had one, two, three, four, five, six, seven games.
8:44Sorry, 11 games where he had 11 or more carries, not just receptions and touches, just carries in general.
8:51Right. And then obviously he's not the best when it comes to being a receiving back.
8:56Right. Kyron's been really, really steady when it comes to that.
9:00But he still got a couple of games where he had two targets.
9:04Right. And so he was involved in that aspect of the game.
9:08You also factor in some of those red zone carries.
9:11Right. He was utilized in the red zone. Right.
9:14We're talking he went on a stretch from week six to week 16, where he got at least one red zone carry,
9:21you know, with the Rams last year. And even let's just, you know, talk about overall efficiency wise.
9:27Right. This is a guy that went for 5.1 yards per carry.
9:31Touched the ball 145 times. He had 746 rushing yards last year.
9:35I mean, I think it's kind of surprising when you when you really think about the raw numbers for what Blake Corum did last year.
9:44And it's pretty impressive. He almost touched 800 rushing yards.
9:47And that's with the fact that Kyron Williams didn't really miss time last year.
9:51Right. He might have been banged up a little bit, but I mean, it wasn't due to him being thrusted into the starting role.
9:59And he was just getting a lot of volume for five, six weeks.
10:04Like he was efficient with the touches he had and he ran 145 times.
10:08So I don't expect that to just completely change.
10:11I think he's not going to just become the guy, but I think he's going to be a guy that can be
10:19utilized and be one, a very sneaky pickup as a handcuff.
10:22Right. I mean, he's he's arguably the the. The most I could say you could argue that he's probably the most valuable
10:29handcuff in fantasy football this year at the running back position.
10:33I don't think that's a stretch to say, Jeremiah.
10:36He's ranked as the RB 31 in startups right now.
10:39And if Kyron was to go down right there, we've seen him be capable last year.
10:45We saw him be capable in this offense to do it.
10:48And it's also the Rams offense. Who doesn't want a piece of the Rams offense?
10:53So I think a breakout, you could say the breakout kind of happened already, but I think it's about sustaining it and showing it.
11:01He can do it for a full season, which we haven't seen.
11:05And I think they give him that opportunity week one to kind of be in close to a 40, 60 split with
11:12Kyron and maybe even get closer to a 50, 50 split if he continues to be as efficient and explosive as we saw.
11:20Well, it's all about outhouse to penthouse. And when you're with the Rams, look, ask Miles Garrett outhouse to penthouse how he feels going to the Rams.
11:29But with Sean McVay, when you're a rookie, you're not necessarily going to get that opportunity right off the bat.
11:35And Kyron Williams, though, has had the perfect run out for himself.
11:39The touchdown equity is there. 15, 16, and 13 in the last three seasons.
11:4421.3 fantasy points per game in 2023. 17 and 24.
11:47And 15.5 fantasy points per game last season. Now it's precipitously dropped.
11:51Part of that is due to the fact that some of this is going over to Blake Corum.
11:57The red zone usage is the key for Kyron Williams.
12:01Once he starts losing red zone share, opportunity share in that green zone, it's going to be a big fault.
12:07And that's why Kyron Williams, for me, is a sell.
12:10He has the most fumbles over the last two seasons.
12:14I believe it's 10 off the top of my head.
12:17And there have been some critical times where he costs up the football.
12:21And for some reason, Sean McVay still goes back to him.
12:25That only lasts for so long. It's kind of like last year when Ramondre Stevenson kept fumbling the ball.
12:31You were like, damn, when are they just going to pull it over to Travion Henderson?
12:37And that loyalty is super valuable. Blake Corum, you can see he is slowly ingratiating himself to that loyalty.
12:43And then in the event, as you say, Pete, if Kyron Williams gets hurt and he's out of the way, just nirvana.
12:50It's like Chiefs backfield, Rams backfield. It's what you wish for, what you hope for.
12:55And that's why you're so close with Blake Corum.
12:58I like that call for Blake Corum to be a breakout.
13:02Yeah, I like it as well. I'm glad you're kind of on board there.
13:06I kind of gave you a little bit of pushback on your first guy when it came to Brooks, but not a ton.
13:14Right. I just prefer Gainwell, who's a little bit behind him.
13:18But either way, I still think Jonathan Brooks. I mean, he looks spry in practice going back to him.
13:24He looks like he's full go. So that's good.
13:27So those are two guys I think you can still target and still get at an affordable cost right now.
13:33So go ahead and do that. And before we continue, we're going to take a quick ad break and we'll be right back on the other side.
13:42What does Player Profiler do best? Dynasty. We have the best Dynasty rankings there are.
13:47Oh, they have Titan Premium. Oh, it's Superflex. Oh, but also Win Now mode versus Rebuild mode.

14:08There's an ADP tracker. All the tools Dynasty League players need.

15:16Clothing. And oh, is this one worth it? You know, more than a few people have asked me about Troll Co.
15:23So let me actually tell you about it. I wear their hats, their sweatshirts.
15:28I have for a while now. The quality on both is legitimately good.
15:32The hats hold their shape. The sweatshirts are the kind of heavy that you actually want, not the thin stuff that pills after three washes.
15:41I just like them. The reason I connected with the brand in the first place is the story behind it.
15:47You know the phrase, dirty hands clean money? It's a blue collar saying that has been around forever.
15:53It's the idea that honest, hard, physical work is how you build a good life.
15:58Troll Co., was started by two guys who came out of the oil patch who could not find any clothing that represented people like them.
16:06So they built it themselves. That is the kind of origin story I respect.
16:11And the product truly backs it up. If you want to check them out, go to trollco.com slash profiler.

16:23The next player that we are going to talk about.
16:26Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what, what, what? I'm just so excited.
16:30Come on, speak up. Look, he's going to break out and I'm so excited.
16:34I'm about to break out. So you prompt me.
16:37Prompt me, Pete. Prompt. Prompting Pete. All right. I'll give you the prompt.
16:42I'll give you the prompt. As we recorded today, you know, Christian Watson did just get an extension.
16:48He's a player that we've kind of talked about on this show and on a lot of the player profiler podcasts over the last few months.
16:56Jeremiah, you picked Christian Watson, the Green Bay Packers, who just inked a four-year extension over $100 million.
17:02Talk to us about Christian Watson and what you see in him and why you think he is a quote unquote breakout for 2026.
17:10Well, I wore this green shirt for the Green Bay Packers.
17:14No, it just kind of happened that way. And the last week, week and a half, I've been talking my shit about Christian Watson.
17:22So this feels amazing. Just a contract falling out of the sky for Christian Watson.
17:27He's 27 years old. He is going to be a breakout this year in the non-traditional way.
17:32It's a depressed price for him. It's not like he's 23 heading into his second season.
17:37There's some wear and tear on him. He's got four seasons in.
17:41But this is the year that Christian Watson gets 22 to 25% target share in the Packers offense.
17:47No more 15% even peanut butter spread between all the receivers.
17:51You got Dontavian Wicks and Romeo Dobbs out of town.
17:54It's going to be a truncated offense between Tucker Craft and Christian Watson.
17:59It's going to be a narrow tree. Yes, Jaden Reed is there.
18:03But I'm going to predict it's going to run through, funnel through Tucker Craft, who you can pay up for, especially in these tight end premium streets.
18:11And then you can get a depressed price around eight, around nine in Christian Watson.
18:16Target share last four seasons. And he's going to play 15 games.
18:20That's the other part. He's going to break out and we're going to get 15 healthy games for him.
18:27Last four seasons, target share 19%, 13%, 17, and 15.
18:30So he's going to get 22 to 25%. What's out there?
18:3465 games played, 26 regular season games missed. What's out there?
18:37The hamstring injuries, the torn ACL where he missed seven games heading into 2025.
18:42But going into just today with that contract, four-year deal, $110 million.
18:46It just tells me that the Packers know within that he is in the right place at age 27.
18:52He's healthy and they're ready to commit to him.
18:5517 yards per catch in his career. Watson has ranged anywhere from 15 to 21 and a half yards.
19:01So he's an excellent vertical threat. He's the perfect firewall wide receiver too for me.
19:06And if you go heavy at running back, you go heavy at quarterback in your builds.
19:12By the time you get to, oh man, how am I going to build and layer my receiver room?
19:18That becomes a problem. Not getting a top tier receiver or a very good number one receiver, but it becomes tougher when you try and build depth.
19:27And for me, the perfect price point is Christian Watson.
19:30So this is both a dynasty startup build, a 2026 call, a breakout call going near Jordan Addison, Michael Wilson.
19:37I love Christian Watson this year. So beauty is you get multiple rounds arbitrage off Tucker Craft.
19:42436 speed, 6'4". Early draft capital investment by the Packers in round two in 2022.
19:47And now we're seeing the further commitment cementing that.
19:50You know, you date somebody along the way, you can change your mind, right?
19:55Well, the Packers have decided to marry. They still want to go to dinner.
19:59They still want to spend time with Christian Watson.
20:02Okay. At least for the next four years. So breakout.
20:06Yeah. I like to call on Christian Watson. I'm a little higher on consensus with him in my rankings for dynasty as well.
20:13Right now he's startup ADP of wide receiver 33.
20:16I think he's an absolute steal in, in startup drafts right now.
20:20So when you look at Christian Watson and what he was able to do last year, you know, 35.8% of teams air yard percentage last year.
20:29So if you talk about just the air yards in general for the Green Bay Packers, 35.8% of the air yards went to Christian Watson.
20:37Right. And you factor in, this is a guy who did not play a lot last season.
20:43I mean, he played 10 games and that is the bugaboo of Christian Watson.
20:47We all know that, right? Hey, Christian Watson is a player that, you know, if he could just stay healthy, you know,
20:55we could, you know, possibly get a top 15 wide receiver for fantasy, get us that kind of finish.
21:01And it's not that unrealistic last year. He was wide receiver 15 in points per game with 13.2.
21:07And so that was in a 10 game sample size, but down the stretch, I mean, this guy was awesome, Jeremiah.
21:14So I like to call out on Christian Watson.
21:17He's heavily insulated when a Packers offense that I don't think LaFleur is going anywhere.
21:22I know there was some talk and some conversation of, is he on the hot seat?
21:27Is he not? The Packers just don't strike me as that kind of team to go ahead and move off of a
21:34coach that has been giving them a lot of success.
21:37And they dealt with some injuries last year, but Christian Watson's insulated with his quarterback and Jordan love who, while he Jordan love does have some flaws.
21:46He's the kind of quarterback that you want for fantasy football.
21:50If they allow him to air it out. But I feel like Jordan love is kind of what people wanted CJ Stroud
21:57to be where it's a gunslinger and Stroud can sling the ball, but they reign him in more because he's a little more wild.
22:05They do have done that from time to time with Jordan love, but they've also uncorked him as well.
22:11And so you get this kind of guy who's willing to take chances, willing to put the ball in harm's way to
22:19give his wide receivers a chance to make a big play.
22:22And Christian Watson benefited a ton last year. You know, you look at just what he was able to do 18 deep ball targets.
22:30That's just in 10 games last year. His average target distance 17.8.
22:34Now the tough thing about the distance on the targets, Jeremiah is how sustainable, how efficient is that?
22:40You know, when you're, you're asking for all these big chunk plays from wide receiver, you know, it gets a little dicey
22:47there, but the last thing I'll say about Christian Watson, two things.
22:51One, when we talk about the, just the percentage of air yards, this offense has always looked like a crowded offensive.
22:58Romeo Dobbs, you have the first round pick and Matthew golden.
23:02You have Jaden Reed, you have Tucker craft. You obviously went down last year.
23:07Like those, all those players, like there's a lot of mouths to feed in that offense.
23:12And yet Christian Watson, who only played 10 games at 38% of the air yards, which was ranked in the top 20
23:19of the NFL last year with all these guys that they spread the ball around to Christian Watson is the kind of player that people forget very quickly.
23:28He broke out onto the scene as a rookie was a massive touchdown getter.
23:33And while touchdowns don't feel like a sticky stat we've seen when he's been able to be healthy, that he's been able to score touchdowns.
23:41And so six touchdowns in 10 games last year, seven touchdowns in his rookie season, obviously 2024 was a down year for
23:49him, only two touchdowns, but they don't have a lot of weapons there at the goal line either.
23:55And so I'm thinking big things for Christian Watson.
23:58So I'm, I'm definitely with you. You also, you're, you're getting him at a discount, Jeremiah, because people are concerned about his ability to stay healthy.
24:06But you're also probably not spending too much to go get him because of people afraid of the cloud around him, which
24:13is the injury bug that surrounds him. And it's funny because some years you're out on him and you feel correct.
24:20Like if you were out on Christian Watson the last two, three seasons, you feel great because you're the smartest person in the room.
24:28He's been hurt. Can't stay healthy. Well, he's absolutely to me a dynasty buy.
24:33And then especially at that dynasty startup price, go out and get him while you can.
24:38Will he get a little bit of bounce? Yes.
24:41But to your point, Pete, what you were saying, there's enough people who have been burned to where they're like, Hey, you know what?
24:49I'm going to keep running that. And they may still continue to be right, but I'm sitting here with some positivity.
24:56If the Green Bay Packers just shove that offer over, gave him that bag.
25:01There has to be something out there that tells them their signal that he's going to be right for the season at
25:08age 27, still in like a perfect prime, but like watch the next three, four seasons, Christian Watson just runs pure on health.
25:15And you almost forget. I mean, Keenan Allen early in his career had some issues before he became the PPR machine that he is.
25:23So it doesn't always start linear for players. And hopefully this is that one last call where it can get right before
25:31his career really ends up being trampled through injury.
25:34Now, speaking of Parker Washington, can you tell us, Pete, Parker Washington, somebody else who should probably get a deal.
25:40James Gladstone, the GM of the Jaguars has talked up getting another deal.
25:44So on this side next week, we could be having a deal and be talking like we are with Christian Watson.
25:51Why is Parker Washington breakout? Yeah. Parker breakouts are always a weird thing because the definition of what is a breakout, so to speak.
25:59And for me, it's really just like sustained success over the course of a full season is a breakout for me.
26:06You know, and when we talk about Parker Washington, he really defines that, right?
26:11He's still 24 years old. So it's not like he is, you know, getting to that age apex where he's 26, 27,
26:18and he's a late bloomer and he's starting to kind of break out now.
26:23And it's how long will it last? Like he's only 24 years old.
26:27Now he was a six round pick out of Penn state, you know, back in 2023.
26:32But when we look at Parker Washington and you just look at his value and where he's currently being drafted, taking a
26:40look at least from a best ball, like current, you know, I know this is dynasty, but just from a redraft best
26:47ball standpoint, he's being drafted as the wide receiver 36 pick 75.
26:51And in dynasty, he's being drafted as the wide receiver 38 pick 105.
26:55So, you know, you kind of see it's similar in terms of wide receiver rank to his dynasty and redraft because people
27:02aren't concerned about the age and they're focusing on the now.
27:06And then from a, you know, just overall set pick 75 versus pick 105.
27:11Obviously that gets a little change because tight ends get pushed up because it's super flex and, you know, quarterbacks as well.
27:18But, you know, those positions start to get pushed up because they're harder to find, which pushes guys down.
27:24But with Parker Washington, look, we've heard it before, but the slot role in the Liam Cohen offense is a highly coveted role, right?
27:32Like this is a role in that offense that is the most important role when it comes to, you know, earning targets
27:39and, and, and the, where the offense runs through in Liam Cohen's offense, it's through the slot.
27:45And I truly believe if you watched last year, Christian, Trevor Lawrence and Parker Washington clearly had a very, very strong connection, right?
27:53I mean, it was very obvious. It wasn't just, Oh, you know, Travis Hunter's hurt or Kobe Myers is slowing down a
28:00little bit, whatever, like, or, and BTJ is not playing well.
28:04Like there was a strong connection. Like it felt like if you watch that bill, that last game of the season between
28:11the bills and the Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence was, was looking for Parker Washington on the last play of the offense and for
28:18the game, for the, for the, for the Jaguars, it was an interception that he tried to force in to get to
28:25Parker Washington, who was great in that final game.
28:28And when we look at this offense, you know, in 2025, the Jaguars ranked third in targets, the wide receiver position.
28:35So while there is mouths quote unquote to feed, I don't think Travis Hunter is going to be a guy that's going to earn a ton of targets.
28:44That's going to eat away at guys like Parker Washington and Brian Thomas jr.
28:49Last year, Parker Washington was fourth in explosive play rating per player profiler.
28:53He was eighth in deep targets, which is crazy when you think about it, because you think smaller guy, slot guy, Jeremiah,
29:01he's not going to, you know, catch the ball deep, but like he did, right?
29:06He was eighth in deep targets. He had 41 targets in the last four games of the season last year, when it
29:13was crunch time, when the games mattered, when it was at the highest level, like he was called upon and depended on.
29:20And I think, like you said, we're going to see an extension for Parker Washington and similar to like the AJ Brown
29:27trade where it's like, we all know what's happening.
29:30We all know what's coming, but it finally happens.
29:33And then if you're drafting in best ball, his, you know, his, his price starts to go up.
29:39And if you're drafting in a startup, AJ Brown's price goes up because people have seen it, but like you can still
29:47get a discount on a guy like Parker Washington, similar to you what you were able to get with AJ Brown, which we preached for a while here.
29:56And Parker Washington still at a very good value right now.
29:59So I'm, I'm all in on Parker Washington. This is the guy I feel the most confident in talking about out of
30:07all the guys that we, we, we have today to discuss on the show.
30:11Well, you have to change your priors. Look, he's a six round pick and he doesn't have some cool name, right?
30:18Like if he had some crazier, cool name, if he was CD lamb, if he was Malik neighbors, there'd be like a
30:26little bit more hype to it, but it's just like Parker Washington.
30:29And there wasn't a lot of hype to him coming in.
30:33You have to adjust your priors to where he's not on their level, but he's becoming not elite, but he's becoming a dependable, very good fancy football player.
30:42And the player that comes up to mind in comparison to Parker Washington is Alec Pierce, because they go about a round
30:50apart, but Parker Washington got 95 targets last year to Alec Pierce's 84.
30:54Alec Pierce, 21.3 yards per reception, and then 14.6 yards per reception for Parker Washington.
30:59To me, it seems more sustainable that Parker Washington is going to continue to climb to 100, to 105, to 110 targets
31:06where he raises his targets every single season and becomes more so even more a high volume PPR player that you want.
31:13Alec Pierce, do I have the confidence that the Colts are all of a sudden going to push him to 100 targets, to 110 and 120?
31:22I just don't see that trajectory, and that can be very fluky sometimes with some of those deep ball passes.
31:29Give me somebody like Parker Washington. I'm excited about Parker Washington pre-contract, whereas Alec Pierce right now has some safety in that
31:36contract that he got, but I'm not sure the repeatability is going to be there for Alec Pierce.
31:42Yeah, I'm kind of with you there. We have about 12 more minutes, but we'll try to get through these last two
31:49players a little bit quicker here, Jeremiah. Next player for you is a guy that we've talked about, and it's Tyler Shuck, right?
31:57And Tyler Shuck becomes an exciting name. This team for the Saints, they add a lot in this offense, right?
32:03Travis Etienne is now there. They add Bryce Lance.
32:06Of course, they add, you know, they add... Why am I escaping?
32:10Why is the... Jordan Tyson. Yeah, Jordan Tyson. I don't know why.
32:14I almost want to say Jordan Love. They have Jordan Love.
32:18So it's exciting times, Jeremiah, for the offense. Talk about Tyler Shuck.
32:22I mean, it seems like he's become a little bit of a hot name as of late.
32:27Is it... Are we buying him at a little bit of a higher price right now because people are buying into him?
32:35Or do you think there's still a decent amount of room for, you know, return on investment?
32:40And is the breakout going to be real this year?
32:44Yes, the breakout is going to happen. Tyler Shuck, more of a mainstream player by now.
32:49It's been cascading. I've been drafting him a ton all offseason.
32:52In my rankings, I have Shuck QB 16. But Baker Mayfield and Prescott are 14 and 15 right in front of him.
33:00I can see Shuck eclipsing them this year, finishing as QB 14.
33:04Maybe even QB 13 ahead of Brock Purdy. Or, crazy enough, a back end because of the investment that you talked about, Pete.
33:11He could be a back end quarterback one this year.
33:15And I have 20% in Superflex best ball. Almost 40%.
33:18He's my highest percent in post-NFL draft. One quarterback settings.
33:21That number will go down as I get more volume.
33:25And, hey, shout out to Wyatt. His best ball exposure show.
33:28He was talking about that. How, hey, I've got a bunch of Drake May out there.
33:33But there aren't completed drafts. So, that number will go down.
33:37But it still speaks to how bullish I am.
33:40Bullish offense. You mentioned. Quarterline wide receiver one in Dynasty.
33:43Or maybe back end. Chris Alave for you. Jordan Tyson drafted.
33:47Got Jawan Johnson. Oscar Delp. I love that you mentioned Bryce Lance.
33:51Etienne out of the backfield. He's usually 30 to 40 receptions.
33:55But there is one season where he offered 58 receptions out of the backfield.
33:59Another thing to offer for Tyler Shuck. Half of his games, Tyler Shuck was a QB1 for fantasy.
34:05And ninth in completion percentage versus zone. Kellen Moore.
34:08Doug Nussmeyer. Nussmeyer. They're going to draw up concepts versus zone for Shuck's strengths.
34:13Design runs. Can we get four to five versus one to two each game?
34:17Can we get four carries per game? Up to six or seven.
34:21186 rushing yards. Three rushing touchdowns. Let's live somewhere between Baker Mayfield and Trevor Lawrence.
34:26Who Baker had one rushing touchdown. Trevor Lawrence had nine.
34:30Give me five in the middle for Tyler Shuck.
34:33Tyler Shuck for the pace. Okay. He was pacing for 316 rushing yards last year for 17 games.
34:38Tyler Shuck. That would put him right up near Baker Mayfield and Trevor Lawrence.
34:43Who Mayfield had 382. Lawrence had 359. So if we can get close to that range rushing wise.
34:49It's all wheels signing up. Pointing up for Tyler Shuck.
34:52Yeah. And I'm going to say something that might come across kind of crazy.
34:57But I would prefer Tyler Shuck over Fernando Mendoza.
35:00I know, you know, Fernando Mendoza. The case for him is insulation.
35:04But the truth is, I have from Mendoza projected as like a mid to at best a high quarterback too.
35:11I don't think he's going to reach that quarterback one level unless he runs way more at the next level than we expect.
35:18With Tyler Shuck, like I could see quarterback one seasons in his outlook for him.
35:23And while, you know, it's a scarier runway because it doesn't look like there's as much track for him because he's a
35:30second round pick who was not really expected to do much.
35:34And he could flame out this year, right? Like there's, of course, you know, of course there's that possibility.
35:40But, you know, you can play it safe with Mendoza or you can go ahead and get yourself, you know, two years
35:48possibly of quarterback one play where maybe, yeah, he's good for fantasy.
35:51With Tyler Shuck, but maybe not good for the NFL and gets replaced.
35:56But he gave you two quarterback one seasons or you could take the safe player in Fernando Mendoza, which there's always going
36:03to be safe quarterback twos in fantasy football, right?
36:06There, obviously, it's always hard to acquire quarterbacks. But the point is, like, if you're looking for that ceiling, like I think
36:13Shuck, while riskier, has a higher ceiling given what's around him.
36:17Mendoza, they still have a lot of work to do on that offense to give him weapons.
36:23I think it's going to be a really run heavy offense as well, where I don't know that I think that with,
36:30you know, Kellen Moore and what he's doing there.
36:33So I like the installation better. I like the tools a little bit better for how it translates for fantasy football.
36:40And so that's my hot take there when it comes to Tyler Shuck.
36:44Let's go ahead and move over to our final player.
36:47And this is really kind of a vibes pick, right?
36:51Like, it's not rooted in, you know, tons of crazy statistics and analysis.
36:55But for me, my last player is going to be Chica Conquo, right?
36:59Chica Conquo of the now Washington Commanders. He joins a tight end room that really doesn't have a lot, right?
37:06It's Bates there. You know, it's the kid that they drafted that was supposed to be good, that kind of halfback or
37:13halfback slash tight end kind of, you know, vibe with Ben Sanat, right?
37:17Who hasn't really seen much of the field. Chica Conquo steps into a room where they paid him like he could very well be the guy early on.
37:27And when we look at the tight end position, Jeremiah, like outside of the elite guys, it's really like elite, then like very good.
37:34And then it's just a cluster of like old veterans or high upside young players.
37:39And Chica Conquo is like not even like the top 25 for consensus rankings right now.
37:45And I get it. He hasn't done a lot.
37:48But I mean, when you just look at the athleticism, the situation that he's stepping into, you know, I think Chica Conquo
37:55could very well, you know, be a breakout candidate.
37:58He feels like an easy guy, easier breakout candidate, just given the path of they don't have a lot of weapons there, right?
38:06It's really not much. It's Antonio Williams. It's Terry McLaurin.
38:09Antonio is obviously unproven, right? And then the running back room is kind of a lot of misfits led by Rashad White,
38:16who I think will lead the backfield. If you think Brandon Ayuk is coming at some point, who knows?
38:22But I just think Chica Conquo, when you look at him, athletic player, ran a 4-5-2.
38:28Speed score was 112, which is 92nd percentile on player profile.
38:31He's still just 26 years old. So he's a player that I want to bet on.
38:37I think you can still get him pretty cheap, like a third round pick in 2027, if you want to take that kind of swing.
38:45And I don't, you know, it's two ways right now.
38:48It's like if you're going to go throw a third round pick on a tight end right now, it's like you're getting
38:55a one-year guy in like a Travis Kelsey or Dallas Goddard.
38:59And you're just taking a chance and saying, I'm paying a third rounder for this, but I don't know if I'm going
39:06to get much after just one year. But I'm fine with it.
39:10I just want points in my lineup and the possibility to be top five or fringe kind of somewhere around it.
39:17Or do I want to go for a speculative athletic tight end who hasn't broke out yet and is not priced very expensive?
39:25And I think Chica Conkle kind of fits that mold and is a guy I'm willing to take a chance on.
39:32Yes. And in 2024, he had ended the season really kind of bullish, small sample size.
39:37It was week 15 through 17, targets 10, 11, and 7.
39:41He had finished tight end 6, tight end 2.
39:44And then, of course, that week 17, tight end 17, but he managed to hit double-digit points.
39:49So there was kind of like this arc where Okonkwo was getting a little bit more target share.
39:55And you were thinking to yourself, okay, now you get Cam Ward, a little more throw mode.
40:01But that never really happened in 2025. You get an opportunity, a rewrite with Jaden Daniels.
40:06Andrew Cooper, who's a tight end whisperer, he had brought up Chica Conkle as a player to look out for.
40:13So when I hear that signal, and when I hear you, Pete, talking about Chica Conkle, it gets me excited.
40:19One for one, do I want Travis Kelsey or Chica Conkle?
40:23I absolutely want Travis Kelsey. But in the event that you're deeper in your best ball drafts, and you're deeper in some
40:30of your startups, and you're layering your tight end room, take a stab at Chica Conkle.
40:35Chica Conkle because there's great opportunity, and we've always believed in he would get carries.
40:40I remember his rookie season, he'd even get carries.
40:43He looks like a player who could get utilization kind of like a Tyler Warren.
40:48We talk about Tyler Warren out of the backfield, Tyler Warren throwing the football sometimes.
40:53Chica Conkle is just like a way layered down version of that.
40:57And it could end up being something where we wish cast and hope.
41:02But the light is on, and for the price point, you might as well take an opportunity at that.
41:08So for what you're paying, I like this call.
41:11This is risky, but not at the same time.
41:14Because the probability of Chica Conkle being a breakout, not so high.
41:18But I like the conviction where you're at, Pete.
