Player insights

27

Alvin Kamara

NegativeRole0:39

Kamara's presence in the Saints backfield creates uncertainty and could limit Travis Etienne's touches and receiving opportunities, though trading or buying him out seems unlikely given his continued quality as a player.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

PositiveProjection0:01

Ashton Jeanty is ranked RB3 in consensus rankings and is viewed as a prototypical workhorse who could push into the top tier with Gibbs and Bijan, though Arizona's dysfunction may limit ceiling outcomes.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection0:01

Bijan Robinson is ranked RB1 in the consensus 2026 dynasty running back rankings.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeRole0:17

Blake Corum is not expected to significantly cut into Kyron Williams' role despite being more explosive. The Rams have consistently prioritized Williams as their lead back, and there's no evidence this will change.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveProjection0:05

Breece Hall is ranked RB9 in consensus rankings and is viewed as a top-tier receiving back who could finish as RB1 if given 50-70 targets and a functional offense. Everything around him has improved with Gino Smith, upgraded tight end position, and additions like Omar Cooper and Garrett Wilson.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveBreakout0:23

Irving is ranked RB 15 and the analyst is the highest on him among the consensus group, believing in his talent and expecting him to be a key part of Tampa's offense if healthy.

Insight page
PositiveInjury0:29

Irving has a shoulder injury that could impact his availability in the offseason, though the analyst still believes in his talent and would buy him if he misses time due to the injury.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:31

Irving is expected to be a highly proficient pass-catching running back with 30-35 targets and 30 receptions, offsetting any lack of red zone carries with strong receiving utility.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveProjection0:06

Chase Brown is ranked RB11 in consensus rankings and has earned his spot through consistent production. He plays in the Eastern time zone, catches passes, and doesn't have Blake Corum competition to worry about.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection0:23

McCaffrey is ranked RB 17 and despite being a 'buyers beware' depending on situation, he will likely still score a high volume of fantasy points and should be in the same tier as Saquon Barkley.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveProjection0:02

Devon Achane is viewed as having unbelievable talent and is included in the same tier as Jeanty, Love, and Hampton from a dynasty perspective, though ranked slightly lower on overall value.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection0:05

James Cook is ranked RB7 in consensus rankings and is part of a tier with Jonathan Taylor and Breece Hall.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection0:33

Williams is ranked RB 19 but the analyst believes he is mispriced and should be ranked higher, closer to Scadabo's tier, as he has proven he is back to pre-injury form and is tied to one of the NFL's best offenses.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:35

Williams faces no significant competition for touches with only Malik Davis and Jaden Blue as backup options, and the Cowboys have committed to him with multi-year security after proving his health.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:36

Williams should maintain 51 targets, keep red zone touches up, and score double-digit touchdowns again, with no reason he shouldn't rush for 1,000 yards given his 252 carries last year.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:37

Williams is a nice buy at his current price point, and at 26.1 years old, he should be viewed as a strong competitor option with continued upside.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveProjection0:01

Jeremiah Love is ranked RB4 in consensus rankings as a blue chip prospect with elite talent, though his year one may be ugly similar to Jeanty's rookie season.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection0:05

Jonathan Taylor is ranked RB8 in consensus rankings and is part of a tier with James Cook and Breece Hall. He was on pace for 26 points per game for the first 10 weeks of the season.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection0:06

Kenneth Walker is ranked RB10 in consensus rankings and is viewed as a strong landing spot for Kansas City, with the team needing to change how they use the running back position.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveProjection0:15

Kyron Williams is ranked RB14 in consensus rankings with significant confidence from one analyst who has him at RB47 overall (vs. RB78 for the other analyst). He's a trusted lead back for the Rams with three straight years of double-digit rushing touchdowns and over 1,100 yards, with no reason to believe Blake Corum's role will grow.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:22

Williams has never had less than 1,100 yards or double-digit touchdowns and is consistently involved in high-value red zone opportunities due to the Rams' strong offense, making him a reliable fantasy asset at 25-26 years old.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveProjection0:11

Quinshawn Judkins is ranked RB13 in consensus rankings and is viewed as a major buy at the running back position. He's proving doubters wrong about his missed tackles and force per attempt, and the New York environment is superior to Cleveland's with better quarterback prospects and offensive line development.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveProjection0:33

Barkley is ranked RB 18 and should be in the same tier as Christian McCaffrey, though the consensus has them split for unclear reasons.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveRole0:38

Etienne is tied to a strong offensive environment with Tyler Shuck and Kellen Moore, and despite not being known as an elite receiving back, he has consistent pass-catching utility with 35-73 targets across his career.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:40

Etienne is ranked RB 21 and is a seventh-eighth round pick, but his upside is contingent on Alvin Kamara's role in the offense; if Kamara remains, Etienne's ceiling is limited.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup0:40

If Alvin Kamara remains in the backfield, Etienne could finish as RB 16-22 in 2026, which would be disappointing, but he could return to RB 8-12 finishes in subsequent years once Kamara is out of the way.

Insight page

Trayvon Henderson

PositiveProjection0:11

Travon Henderson is ranked RB12 in consensus rankings, marking the start of a new tier alongside Quinshawn Judkins.

0:53We're back and we've got top 20 consensus rankings for the running backs for your pleasure.
0:58Jeremiah is on vacation, so he's not going to make it, but it's me, Jeremiah and Chev's consensus rankings on theffdynasty.com.
1:05And we're going to go through the top 20 running backs here.
1:09A little different than your standard ranking shows because we're doing a consensus.
1:13So it's not just, hey, these are my rankings, these are your rankings.
1:17We've got them all grouped together and it's spitting out kind of the average of where we're at.
1:23Obviously, that's what consensus is. So without further ado, Shev, you ready to get into it?
1:28How are you feeling today? Hey, sometimes the math be math and on this side of the dirt, I'm ready to get into some running back rankings.
1:37Let's do it. All right. So obviously the two at the top are Bijan and Gibbs.
1:42Take your pick. Pick your poison. I'm a, you know, we got Bijan at RB1 and Gibbs at RB2.
1:48Any statements? Good? Yeah, I'm good. Good to go on that, big dog.
1:52All right. Next, next two guys. It's Gentie and Love.
1:55And, you know, I guess you could make the argument that maybe Hampton or A-chan belongs in there.
2:01But, you know, Gentie and Love would be the next two guys at RB3 for Gentie and RB4 for Love.
2:07Yes. So, yeah, I don't, I mean, I have Devon A-chan in, I mean, I have Devon A-chan at the top in my rankings.
2:15I, I understand why, I understand why we have everybody.
2:18And I like all these guys. We've, we've gotten, we've proven that Ashton Gentie in a dysfunctional environment can still produce.
2:25And that's why, and I think he's prototypical workhorse could threaten and push his way into the, the, the tier with Gibbs
2:32and Bijan, which that's my first tier. So I think he can push his way up there.
2:37I think we, we might be putting the, in terms of value, there's no question, but production wise in year one, we
2:44might be putting the cart before the horse, just like we saw with Bijan, his rookie year with Jeremiah Love.
2:51So that might create a slight buying window. I just don't trust anything that Arizona is potentially doing right now.
2:57But I mean, the Capitol says that it's going to be good, but actually it might, it just might not get, we might not get a ceiling outcome.
3:06And that's why I'm a little bit, that's why I'm a little hesitant to put him in here and be firm, be firm about it.
3:14But from a dynasty perspective, the talent is unbelievable.
3:17Yeah. So you would have Gentie Love and A-Chan in the same tier?
3:21Yes. And would you include Hampton in that tier?
3:24Yes. Okay. I'm comfortable with it. I just want, I just, I, we got to put some respect on Devon A-Chan's name at some point.
3:32Yeah, no, I'm with it. I have, I've got Gentie and Love ranked above A-Chan, but just, it's just a, of overall value standpoint for me there.
3:41And I think those guys have the, obviously the talent and that is viable for, to be up that high.
3:47And, you know, to, for Gentie to have, like you said, a terrible situation year one, I think it's vastly improved in
3:54year two, just from who's in charge, offensive line should be better.
3:58Whether it's Kirk or Mendoza starting, I'm fine with it.
4:01But just the Kubiak run scheme is, is just going to be, you know, tailor made for somebody like it, like a Gentie.
4:09And then Love comes in and it might be ugly, like, like you said, for, just like for Love for year one
4:16for Gentie, but the blue chip prospect there and kind of how he moves and what he does.
4:21Don't, you know, Gentie, it was ugly on the field, but like when you look back on it, Gentie was actually solid.
4:28And I think that's kind of what you're going to see from Love.
4:33Unfortunately, you know, Gentie's division is also has turned into quite the juggernaut.
4:37So you can't even really slight it there, but you know, obviously the, the NFC.
4:42Right, right. That's what I was about to say, obviously loves in the juggernaut division, but Gentie's, you know, Broncos defense is good.
4:49Chargers defenses as turned into something good. You know, so is, you know, solid, solid division over there as well.
4:55So HN and it comes in at RB five and consensus.
4:59And then Hampton comes in at RB six. Right.
5:02And we've made a lot to do about Hampton and how much fun this could be with obviously the scheme change and the offensive coordinator there.
5:10But still, I think he's got to be the sixth man here generally.
5:14Okay. All right. Moving on. This is, this kind of starts a new tier and it's James Cook.
5:20It's Jonathan Taylor. And then I don't know who else you would want to include in the tier.
5:26The, the, you know, average of tiers that it spits out for us has cook Taylor and hall in a tier here.
5:33Would you expand that tier? Or do you think that's a good tier?
5:37I mean, I think it's a good tier, but I mean, we can make it better.
5:42Who, who, what else would you put in there?
5:45I could put Kenneth Walker and chase Brown in there.
5:48Ooh. Okay. Okay. Chase Brown's earned it for you to be in that tier.
5:53Yeah. Why? What, what, what else do we, what do, what do we want?
5:57Right. What else do you want from chase Brown?
6:00Chase Brown is East coast, Eastern time zone. Kyron Williams, Kyron Williams.
6:04But I mean, he catches passes. Right. And he doesn't have a Blake Corham to be worried about.
6:10Right. Why do we, why do we hate, why do we hate chase Brown so much?
6:15Uh, we don't, uh, everybody else does. Cause they just, they've, they were wrong at first and they would just want to
6:22get them replaced and he just keeps being undeniable.
6:25Uh, so there he is. But to repeat, run back through that again, James cook, RB seven, uh, Taylor RB eight and breeze hall RB nine.
6:33And then comes in, uh, Kenneth Walker at 10 and chase Brown at 11 in the consensus rankings here.
6:39In this view, uh, it's not necessarily reflective of Chev and eyes, actual tiering of these players, uh, which is kind of
6:46why we're talking through it a little bit here, but I know maybe some people have a problem with breeze hall being there.
6:53So what would be your defense of that? And I, you know, we went to bat for him last year saying bye.
7:00And I, I view this as kind of the same thing as like I was doing with a lava.
7:06Like I was buying the year before and it missed and I'm just going right back in and buying it again.
7:13And it worked out for a lava and I think it's going to work out for breeze.
7:19I think everything's gotten better around him. I think Gino's an upgrade.
7:22I think they've upgraded the tight end position and they have another decent tight end and Taylor.
7:28They, they obviously added Omar Cooper, Garrett Wilson's a stud 80.
7:31Mitchell's good. Right. So I think this offense is, is ready to go.
7:36And I like breeze is still 25 years old.
7:38Like I think he's one of the best bell cows and the best or top tier receiving back going.
7:45And it's just a discriminately disservice that he doesn't see isn't in the top third of running back targets year over year.
7:52So I just, you know, I, I have no problem having breeze in here and I'm, I'm a buyer and believer of what breeze all can do.
8:00Yeah. I mean with, with breeze hall, I mean, just looking at what Frank Reich traditionally has done in terms of running back target share.
8:08We're looking at 21 to 24% running back target share.
8:11If that ends up being breeze with, you know, five, if they're, he's going to get a 22% or the running backs get a 22% target share.
8:20I personally think that we're getting another top five season for breeze.
8:24If they just, if they just commit to throwing him the football, right.
8:28It doesn't even have to, I mean, sure. You could sprinkle in some Braylon Allen carries, but there's clearly a difference between
8:35breeze hall who they've now paid and the other two running backs.
8:39We like Isaiah Davis. I like Braylon. I love Isaiah Davis.
8:42And I like Braylon Allen. I genuinely think that this is kind of the cutoff.
8:47If we're looking at our rankings for the guys that can finish as the overall RB one.
8:53And I mean, you're looking at, I mean, Jonathan Taylor obviously has done it and was on pace to do it again.
9:00He's 26 points a game for the first 10 weeks of the season.
9:04And breeze hall was the running back too. I think that could go to running back one.
9:09If we have a functional offense surrounding him and they throw him the ball and he catches 50 to 60 balls and good God.
9:17If he, if he catches 70 balls, then again, we're talking elite elite because he's one of the most explosive running backs in the league as well.
9:26So that's what I would say to anybody who thinks that I'm crazy for having it.
9:31We're, we're crazy for having breeze where we have.
9:34Yeah. Yeah. You saw him 24, the 76 targets.
9:37And then in 23, obviously the 95 targets was amazing.
9:40And that's, that's where I want to live with breeze.
9:43I know that's not the reality, but just get me to 76.
9:47And like you said, if you're at 76 targets and that goes into 57 receptions back to that 24 season, and we
9:54can get the volume of 220 attempts or so.
9:57He's been running the routes. He runs the most routes of the position.
10:01They just don't throw it to him all the time.
10:04Right. Right. This episode is brought to you by Google Chrome.
10:08You think, you know, a browser, but Gemini and Chrome, that's new.
10:11It can help you with practically anything on the web, like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50 page restoration block, or
10:18finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks.
10:22Gemini and Chrome is here for it. Ready to make anything online.
10:26Makes sense. There's no place like Chrome check responses, set up, required compatibility and availability varies 18 plus.
10:32They say you can tell a lot about a person by the contents of their freezer.
10:37So what does a bottle of Jagermeister say? It says you have standards.
10:41You don't cut corners and you like your Jagermeister shots the way they're meant to be enjoyed.
10:46Ice cold. As for the frozen taquitos and mystery leftovers, we'll keep that between us.
10:51Drink it cold or don't drink it at all.
10:54Jägermeister. Damn, that's cold. Drink responsibly. Jagermeister liqueur, 35% alcohol by volume.
10:58Imported by Masked Jagermeister, U.S. White Plains, New York.
11:01We got Brees in there. Obviously, Kenny goes into a good spot.
11:05I think Kansas City needed this. I think they needed to change their outlook of how they use the running back.
11:11Kenny's that guy. We love Kenny. Big opponents love the landing spot.
11:15So Kenny's up here. And then Chase Brown, we just talked about.
11:19East Coast Kyron Williams. It is kind of the people have been denying.
11:23A couple of y'all owe me a pie to the face from him not getting replaced last year, which I never saw.
11:30Out there in the Twitterverse, because battled that for a while.
11:34But Chase Brown has earned it. So coming in at RB12 then, we've got Travion Henderson and Quinshawn Judkins coming in at 13.
11:41So I did want to come in and talk about, and that would be a new tier, right?
11:47The Henderson and the Judkins of the world, right?
11:50The site generates it as a new tier, and we would also say that as a new tier as well.
11:56And they've got them in a tier by themselves as far as what the website's putting together as the average.
12:02Quinshawn Judkins. I found this interesting a little bit when we're looking at it.
12:07I'm 10 players higher, maybe some draft picks, like I said on the last show.
12:12When we talk about the overall, the number where we have them, I've got them at 52.
12:17Shev's got them at 62. That means his overall player ranking in the top 225 or whatever.
12:23There's picks in there that skew that around to give value to the picks.
12:27So I do, I think, you know, we really haven't talked about too much Quinshawn Judkins.
12:32So I thought, you know, was putting together an okay season.
12:36Then he got hurt. He was kind of heating up a little bit.
12:40But I feel like you may be like cool to touch on the Judkins a little bit where I think right now
12:47he's one of my bigger buys at the running back position.
12:50So I feel like you went scat pack hot and heavy, which we'll get there in a second.
12:56And I feel like I'm, you know, I want to buy Judkins.
13:00So what's your, you know, was it? It's just why does the, why has the cement aisle, you know, kind of dried up a little bit?
13:08First of all, it's never, it's never dry in the cement aisle.
13:12All right. You just make sure you've got foot coverings when you walk through.
13:17Anyway, before I was so rudely interrupted in the cement aisle, as I, I just, the brown stench has affected me.
13:23And I really, really liked, I really, I really liked what I was seeing from Quinshawn Judkins.
13:29He's proving everything that people said that he couldn't be because of his missed tackles force per attempt or whatever.
13:35And, you know, I, I just really, really, really liked the environment in New York better.
13:40And we can make a year over year bet about who this quarterback's going to be.
13:45They spent the top 10 pick. I know, I know that, you know, Cleveland did what they did and they selected Caleb Lomu or no, they get final.
13:54Anyway, they selected an offensive line, selected an offensive lineman.
13:58And they're trying to rebuild that. I think New York is further along the curve and we've already seen them commit to
14:05throwing the ball to CTE scat pack. So that's the reasoning for my buy.
14:09And plus people think that, I mean, Judkins is already back from his injury and he was participating in OTAs.
14:16They're both kind of in that same area. It's just that I think the ceiling for the environment in New York is higher.
14:23And I think that they're going to be able to consistently score more points.
14:27And so if I'm looking at the next two years, I could be stuck in that Todd Gurley, Jeff Fisher lane, where we know that Judkins is awesome.
14:36But the environment just is so bad that we can't.
14:40And that and at that point, once we hit rock bottom with that, that's when I'll buy because we can get like
14:47another round or two off of his price. But everybody knows how I feel about Judkins.
14:52Every single time I send a trade for Judkins, if somebody knows that I knows who I am and that's, you know,
14:59we're a league or they just ask me about Quinshawn Judkins before then auto reject.
15:04And I can't you just can't you can't get him from the people that have him.
15:09But you can get scat pack. You can get scat pack.
15:12I think you got to, you know, I'm like I said, I'm I'm interested in trying to procure the Quinchon.
15:19So I'll get back to you on what, you know, unfortunately, in the two leagues that we were just drafting in or have been drafting.
15:27I think you own them in one of them.
15:29So I knew that wasn't happening. No, because I think he's got him in that one.
15:35So I knew that also wasn't that. And he will not hear you out.
15:39No, no. So, yeah, I like I like the idea of Judkins, but I was definitely interested of kind of why why
15:46we were 10 spots apart in the overall there.
15:49So Judkins comes in at 13. Then, you know, Kyron Williams comes in at 14.
15:54And you you have really boosted his stock here.
15:57And again, it's sound like a broken record, but we've been a big Kyron pod for forever.
16:02And I'm not anti Kyron by any means, but you've you've got him at 47.
16:07And I've got him at 78. Jeremiah is in the middle at 68 overall.
16:11So this is, you know, definitely you've got your prop and Kyron up in this ranking somewhat here through the three three of us in consensus.
16:20So what's the why why the confidence and I'm confident in Kyron to you just you seem like this to me almost seems like a an over adjust.
16:29And just stick a middle finger up at the people.
16:32That's part of it without having to actually stick my middle finger up and tell people to shut up about this.
16:39But explain to me why Kyron Williams doesn't belong in the same tier with Kenneth Walker and Chase Brown.
16:45Explain it to me like I'm five. Anyone, anyone, anywhere.
16:48Explain it to me like I'm five. Why does he not belong in the tier with Chase Brown and Kenneth Walker?
16:55I think five years old. Right. I think it's a second contract.
16:58Go ahead. I'm sorry. No, I think it just I think for the public, it's the same thing as Chase Brown.
17:05It's we want to be right. We were wrong for so long.
17:09Then they gave him the second contract and just ripped people's heart out.
17:13Well, and then we saw Blake come in last year and well, he's more explosive and he does this and he does that.
17:20And it's like, look, they trust Kyron. That's what they do.
17:24And Kyron is going to be their lead dog.
17:27And maybe Blake eats into a little bit more of it.
17:30But I'm with you. And I think I don't I just don't think the consumer confidence is there long term for all
17:37the reasons I just said, you know, there. To start that conversation off with.
17:42So I think that's why I would probably let's let's kind of let's I can tell you where where I have Kyron here in some in some right.
17:5178. Yeah, 78. So I've got him, you know, a bit a good bit lower than than you do.
17:57I've kind of got him in that Barkley tier, which is, you know, no, no, no shade at all.
18:03I think that's I think that's, you know, a little bit more properly rated, obviously, in my opinion there.
18:09The ADP has him at RB 17. So about three spots off and that 68.6.
18:14So if we're just using the ADP there. So, yeah.
18:17If I'm good. No, I think I think I like the I like the attitude and approach here of just saying like, look, he's their guy.
18:25He's going to probably be the 70 percent player out there for them on the field.
18:31And quorum's probably going to be more like a 30 percent player for them out on the field.
18:36You know, I think they want to get Blake a little more involved.
18:40Obviously, the defense just got better. We kind of we kind of mentioned that on on the live show of like, hey,
18:48adding Miles Garrett and shout out to Big D.
18:50And on the Patreon episode that we did after that of just like we've seen this where the defense increases.
18:57And obviously, you know, the Super Bowl odds go up.
19:00But the offense then gets up and then they kind of sit and kind of try to cruise on a lead.
19:07And, you know, obviously, I don't think that'll happen all the time with with McVay and them.
19:12But like there's going to be some preservation mode there.
19:15And I think it just happens naturally when you're in the it's hard for a coach to be because if it goes
19:22the other way and you and the coach F set up by getting too aggressive, then people are like, oh, what are you doing?
19:30Why don't you just, you know, give it to quorum and Kyron.
19:34So there's a world where the attempt numbers in the running game maybe go up because of the defense getting better and in, you know, in a regard.
19:43And we see it a lot when defenses are good, that it does can have an effect on the offensive like a
19:50maybe doesn't reach its highest output because it doesn't need to as far as Stafford chucking it all around.
19:56Yeah, no, I mean, that's that's kind of OK.
19:59So first things first is three to three years straight of double digit Russian touchdowns.
20:04I mean, you could argue all volume. That's not, you know, that's not sustainable.
20:08Hey, we're talking about a team, you know, we're talking about a team that's always in the top half of the league in inside the five attempts.
20:17So that's a year over year over year. If you're going to run the ball and hand the ball to Kyron Williams,
20:24I'll make a bet that he's going to score eight to 10 touchdowns.
20:28And he's been over 10 touchdowns for the last three years.
20:31So I understand that people are that people are saying, oh, like, but again, you've been trying to do this with Blake
20:39Corum for I mean, they were fourth last year in inside the five attempts, 12th and 2024 fourth last year.
20:45So there's no reason whatsoever to believe that Blake Corum's role.
20:48I mean, excuse me, Blake Corum's role is going to grow and Kyron Williams role is going to diminish.
20:55He's 26 years old. He's in, I believe, what, the first year or he's in the first year of his new extension.
21:02So we're tied through 2028, if I'm not mistaken.
21:04And there's no reason to believe Matthew Stafford just re-upped.
21:08So we've got at least one more year, if not two.
21:11He did for two, but they win the Super Bowl this year.
21:15Nobody's expecting him to come back and continue playing.
21:18So you have all of this and he nobody's saying that he's some sort of world beater.
21:23He's not Saquon, prime Saquon Barkley. He's not CMC.
21:26But what he is, is a running back the organization trust.
21:30And they continue to give him the ball. And we're ignoring what's actually happening with football because of some narrative that you
21:37want to follow that has nothing to do with what's happening on the football field and what you want to happen, happen on the football field.
21:45So that's why I have Kyron where I do, because I think that his ceiling, like 21 points a game in his
21:52breakout year in 2023 is as high as anybody else's.
21:55So there's no reason for me to think that there's no reason for me to jump off the train now at 25,
22:02almost 26 years old when I could be getting I could just be profiting for the next few years.
22:08And when he gets to 27, 28, if my team sucks, I sell him to a contender at the trade deadline.
22:15Yeah, I mean, he's never had less than eleven hundred yards.
22:19He's never had less than double digit touchdowns and people, you know, well, he's not efficient.
22:24He's not explosive. He doesn't do this. Blake Corum could do, you know, that's.
22:28And so you got to you got to wade through all that.
22:32But the team tells us something different for the most part.
22:36And they're, like you said, always, always in the higher end of, you know, plays inside the five and the ten because they've got a very good offense.
22:45And, you know, other people could argue, well, if Stafford goes, then what?
22:49Well, they just drafted Simpson and hopefully they have Stafford for another year or two and Simpson can develop and they don't miss a beat.
22:57So, all right. Kyron Williams, RB 14 coming in here at RB 15 in the next tier.
23:02We've got Bucky Irving. We've got Cam Scadabo and we've got Christian McCaffrey inside the automated consensus tiers here.
23:08So, Bucky Irving is I'm the highest on him.
23:11Then Scadabo is one where I'm then the lowest.
23:14You're at 61. I'm at 87. And Christian McCaffrey, we're all kind of right there.
23:19I think we're in it. We obviously, Christian McCaffrey is a buyer beware depending on what situation you're in.
23:25But damn it, he's probably still going to score a whole bunch of fantasy points.
23:30So, you know, you got to put some respect on his name.
23:34I don't know how Barkley and McCaffrey aren't in the same tier in this situation, but I would certainly have them in the same tier.
23:42So, Scadabo, though, is your guy right now. You mentioned him on the when we were talking about Quinchon and you've been all in on him.
23:50And I'm not anti-Scadabo by any means. I think I'm just a little bit more of like, I just want to see it one more time.
23:58I want to see it post-injury. I want to see the new regime.
24:02I want to like, I think they're going to come in and they like Scadabo does fit the personality that I think they want to assume.
24:11Right. Sometimes it feels sometimes for me when things feel so obvious, I have a tendency to be like, well, what am I talking about?
24:19Like, I'm going to talk myself out of this and I'm not going to do that here.
24:24Everything that they've done, we've we've literally gotten dodge bullet after dodge bullet in terms of cam cam CTE, Scadpack, Anglo-Saxon Assassin, Scadabo, the first of his name.
24:33We have gotten every single positive signal that we could get.
24:37And yeah, he was a day three pick, but I don't care about that at this point.
24:42It's we got to see it. It was good.
24:45It was in a less than ideal environment. And they've only upgraded the environment.
24:49Sure. So that's my take when it comes to this.
24:53Mine would, I think I would like, I just, I don't know if I'm going to see, am I going to see
25:0012 to 16 attempts or are we going to be closer to the 20 attempts?
25:04And really for me, it's like, does the passing volume stay kind of like, you know, we're in games where he was
25:11good out, you know, the one, the one game where he put up 31, he scored three touchdowns.
25:17Right. And rushed for almost 100 yards on 19 carries.
25:20Right. But, you know, seven, eight targets, seven targets, six targets.
25:24And those were his, those were the other, you know, where he was an RB one.
25:29And I think that's going to need to continue for him to be at that level.
25:34I don't know if it will. That's another thing where I don't know if it will.
25:39Right. I don't know what Tracy's role in this offense is going to be because I think, you know, I was in
25:46camp Tracy last year and I'm going to go right back to being in like, I think Tracy should have a bigger
25:53role in this offense than just being pushed aside.
25:56I think he's a better receiving back. You know, so I, I, I just wonder how this is going to be schemed
26:03up and how much is, is Scadabo truly going to come in here and be the workhorse?
26:09And I'll, I'm going to take the same approach of it and of like, I'll, I'll be wrong and overpay for Scadabo in the next season.
26:17If you're going to give him to me in, in kind of where I have him ranked, I'll take him all day long.
26:24It's not any, I'm not, I guess I'm not in, I'm not interested in overdrafting Scadabo, which you seem very fine with.

27:25See homekeeper.com slash price match for details. I'm buying the environment.
27:28I'm buying, I'm buying what I, what I saw from him, from a performance perspective.
27:33And, you know, sometimes, sometimes like to me, yeah, I could be, you can get Damian pierced when you, when you buy
27:40into a situation like this, but I've seen him.
27:43I mean, he had the pass game, the pass catching utility.
27:47He's clearly got chemistry of Jackson Dart. This is going to be a fun one that it's going to be hard because
27:54he's already a fan favorite to keep off of the field.
27:57And when you have him on the field, he performs really well.
28:01So he's making it really hard for you to take him off the field.
28:06So. So I look at what weeks two through eight were, I mean, he was third and missed tackles for 14.
28:12I'd said all this stuff on the Patreon when we talked about it, me and big D kind of went back and forth about it.
28:20But I think that this is where they're going to, this is where they're going to plant their flag.
28:26And I could be wrong. And if I am wrong and we get to the training camp and it's more of a
28:33split and all that, it's going to suck because I planted my flag here.
28:38But I just think that once we're out, you know, once we're out, once we're playing football, he just plays football with
28:45a different type of ability and willingness to be violent.
28:48That kind of changes the math on some things.
28:51Yeah, I agree with that part for sure. And I didn't want to just bypass over Bucky real quick that he's at RB 15.
28:59I'm sure people probably think that's too high for him and he's got the injury too.
29:04I do have him a little bit higher. I believe in, in, in Bucky Irving.
29:09Now, if he comes out here and doesn't practice all, all off season, then I'm going to probably have to drop him down.
29:16But I would still be bent by like if I'm dry, if I'm, if I haven't quite dropped them down as low
29:23as everybody else, but if he's doesn't play for the entire off season or whatever, because of this shoulder, then I'd just
29:30be buying again on Bucky because I just, I believe in the talent.
29:34I, what I saw out there was great. You know, even, even through stretches of last year, he was good playing through something.
29:41So I'm, I've, I'm the one propping Bucky up there.
29:45So I'll take the bullets on Bucky there. I, you know, I, I, I've, I've truly, and really do believe in, in what Bucky is.
29:53We just got to get them right and back on the field.
29:57I think he's going to be a big part of what, what Tampa does.
30:01So then I feel like gain well is kind of their, their fail safe there that, Hey, if, if, if we got
30:08a Bucky problem, we can, we can slide game well in here.
30:12Now they gave game well, some okay money. So I do think we'll have a role, but I think this is the Bucky show.
30:20If he's the guy, if Bucky's healthy or if he's healthy.
30:23Yeah. If Bucky's healthy, then there's no question about this.
30:26There's just the question about, Hey, what's the, what's the truth.
30:30And I think we forget that towards the beginning of the last, the beginning of last season, the Bucks were injured on the offensive line.
30:38Tristan worse. Missed some time. Their center, his name is Graham Barton.
30:42I really like him. He missed some time. The right tackle get a key.
30:46I believe it. So they were kind of patchwork to begin the season.
30:50Baker was banged up down the drain. Yes. And then Bucky gets hurt as they're getting healthy.
30:56And then Baker gets hurt as the offensive line kind of gels and everything fell off a cliff.
31:01So I think he's going to be one of the most, I think he's going to be one of the most proficient
31:09passing down or excuse me, pass catching running backs, not passing down.
31:12It sounds so stupid to say, but he, he's going to be one of the most proficient pass catching running backs.
31:19We've seen that be really good with a shot.
31:22Why? We saw it be really good with Bucky.
31:25Basically, you know, you had 30, 35 targets, 30 receptions at five targets in the end zone.
31:30Even though he didn't have any carries inside of the five last year.
31:34So he kind of offsets the lack of running game, but we've seen him be efficient on the ground too.
31:41So I like that, but also what he's priced where he's priced for me because unlike Kyron Williams, we don't have any long-term security.
31:49We do have an offensive coordinator. We do have the questions about injury and what his role could be in terms of
31:56touching the ball in the red zone and green zone.
31:59If they're, if we're not throwing it to him.
32:02So that's why I have Bucky where I have him and I'd be willing to be wrong.
32:07I think if you are team Bucky, there are buying opportunities that you need to be taking advantage of.
32:13This is one of probably the biggest buys. If you're a team Bucky, this is one of the best periods of time
32:20to buy Bucky Irving because you're going to flirt with an early second.
32:24For some people to get rid of Bucky because there's so much nervous.
32:29I'm hell. I'm the one spreading like anti-Bucky propaganda.
32:31Right. And I'm saying like, yeah, still you could, if you believe you think I'm wrong, just go buy Bucky Irving.
32:38I fully acknowledge, like, there's no part of me that says like, I'm 100% right.
32:43And this, but if you think I'm wrong, go buy Bucky Irving.
32:47That's cool. Do that. Yeah. I'm not saying that I'm not saying he's not good.
32:52I'm just saying that these are the questions that I have and that's what led to my rank.
32:57Absolutely. No, I'm with it. I'm with it. All right.
33:01So just to recap, Bucky was at RB 15, Scadabo at RB 16.
33:05Then we had McCaffrey at RB 17. And then coming in would be Saquon Barkley at RB 18.
33:10I put Christian McCaffrey and Barkley kind of in the same tier.
33:14Again, the consensus averages have them split, but I don't, I don't really know why.
33:19Um, then comes Javante Williams at 19 and then Jadarian Price rounding out 20.
33:24And then I did want to touch on, uh, Travis ETN coming in at 21 real quick.
33:29Uh, but I do want to double back to Javante Williams because we're about 10 spots apart on that one.
33:35Um, I'm at 83 or at 71. Um, and I was going to, I started looking into a pre-show and I was
33:42going to change the ranking, but I wanted to leave it on, on, you know, for the show so we could talk about it.
33:50And I think, I think I've got him mispriced.
33:53I think Javante Williams should probably be up with, with like the Scadabos of the world, uh, where, where we just talked about him.
34:01There's no reason not to. And I would rather have Javante than Scadabo.
34:05So I wouldn't go that far, but what I would do is say that I think Javante has proven that he's back
34:12to being pre-injury Javante, that I was completely, look, I'm holding a bag.
34:16I was holding a bag on so many Javante shares that I thought were absolutely dead in the water going into last
34:23year to the point where I was telling people, Hey man, I don't think Javante is the guy.
34:29And he went out and he proved us completely wrong.
34:32So now we've got to completely change the outlook back to, Hey, Javante is tied to one of the best offenses in
34:39the NFL with just most stable environments. The team thought enough of them to give him multi-year security after signing the one year deal.
34:47He's got a three year, 24 million, 22, 24, whatever, but he's tied to the team.
34:52He's tied to Dak Prescott. He's tied to this offensive line.
34:55He's tied in this environment with Clayton Adams. I really like Clayton Adams, who I've talked about before.
35:01He's kind of the guy that brought this running game back to life after Rico Dattle sort of did his thing at the end of 2024.
35:09But point being Javante Williams is 26 years old.
35:12And I don't think that there's anything that tells us outside of him, you know, injury, which we can't predict that makes
35:19us think that he's going to fall off a cliff in 2026.
35:23He's, I mean, he's, who's he competing for touches with Alfred?
35:27I mean, Jaden blue. Yeah. Phil Moffitt. Hey, shout out to J.
35:31Wayne and Clemson, but that's not, that's not happening.
35:33Malik Davis. I mean, it's a fun stash based on the way that they use their, they like their running backs with
35:40James Connor and Javante and Phil Moffitt kind of fits that mold a lot more than Jaden, Jaden blue does, but there's nothing threatening him.
35:48They didn't have anybody of note in the draft.
35:51So that's why, why wouldn't you? When I went and reexamined it just because, you know, I wanted to make sure that,
35:58but then I was just like, and, and he, you know, the thing is, is like back half of the season 13
36:05through, you know, you really didn't have very many RB one.
36:09And you had one in week 13, but then it was RB 18, RB 15, RB 45 in one game where he only touched it nine times.
36:18And then RB 19 to finish the season. So, but much stronger start.
36:22And obviously, you know, there was, he scored 11 touchdowns, but like, again, like he, he should be doing that again.
36:28That offense kind of started breaking down and falling apart a little bit.
36:33Um, so I think kind of moving forward, like if we're going to keep the targets at 51 ish, which I don't
36:40know why they wouldn't, if we're going to teach, keep the red zone touches up and keep the TDs in double digits.
36:47Like there's no reason this guy's not going to rush for a thousand yards.
36:51He had 252 attempts. Like, why should he have that many less attempts going into next year?
36:57Who's the company? It's it's Malik Davis. It's Jaden blue.
37:00Like you just mentioned, like they didn't do anything like that.
37:03The Cowboys have been operating after the Zeke thing in a, we're, we're, we're going to, we're taking the cheaper route on
37:10running backs here for a little while. Um, they were kind of the last one off the cliff of the RBs don't matter thing.
37:18And now the RBs are coming back. So they went and they did that.
37:23This was a very good move by Dallas. So signing him for a year and then re-upping him for another two or three years for relatively inexpensive.
37:31It's not, you know, it's not crazy money, but it's, it's competitive.
37:35$2 million a year more than Tyler Auger does.
37:38Right. So good move by them. And I just, I just feel like I'm, I'm too low.
37:43So I think I should, I should be moving him up.
37:47I think we should, you should feel really good about your Javante stocks.
37:51A nice buy. I think if you're a competitor, a young 26 to like, he's not like 26.9, he's 26.1.
37:57Right. So we're, we're at a good, and I think, you know, we're seeing the, the better running backs in the league.
38:04I'm not saying Javante is there on the elite level of running backs yet, but we're seeing that, like we mentioned with
38:12the wide receivers and the elite play, like we're seeing that bell curve kind of shift a little bit to being, you
38:19know, good seasons in 28, 29, 30 elite seasons.
38:21So I think we could see that Janarian price then coming in at 20, which kind of shocked me, but we're all
38:28at 84 across the board on them on overall.
38:31Exactly. And then ETN is the one last guy I wanted to hit on here.
38:36Pause. So you're at, you're at 85. I'm at 88.
38:39Jeremiah's at 79 with him. He's interesting, right? Cause you know, there's a little bit of Kamara flashbacks happening now.
38:46It seemed like they brought him in. They paid him.
38:49Kellen Moore wanted to have a running back. He could count on the scheme that they run as far as for the
38:56running back fits what Travis ETN wants to do.
38:59I think this often, like just said, we just talked about with Tyson and Olave on the receiver side.
39:05Like, this is what I want. I want an OC who's calls the head is the head coach who calls the plays, who designs everything that they're doing.
39:14Um, and I think you might've solved your quarterback.
39:17I don't know. And you're, you're, you're coming out of the muck in the mire from so long of the saints, from
39:24the drew breeze era of just kicking everything down the road.
39:27Uh, and they had to pay the piper here and I think they're going to come out of it.
39:33Um, and I think they've got a nice nucleus to do so.
39:37And, you know, I guess the question is, is like, how does Alvin Kamara play into this backfield?
39:43And, and it was something that I was very confident in, you know, as far as ETN being a guy that I absolutely wanted.
39:51I know I was very confident in him last year.
39:54Um, but I've started to, uh, have a little bit of doubt if Alvin Kamara is going to be in here in
40:01the mix in this, in this year. And should I be, what are you, where, where, where, how are we finishing up these rankings with ETN?
40:09And, and just a general thought process exercise here.
40:12You've got to, you've got to kind of resign yourself to a floor outcome for 2026.
40:17If Alvin Kamara is going to be involved, if they don't, if they're not working on something to get him traded or,
40:24you know, a buyout to make this, you know, make this travesty team's backfield.
40:29And that's just kind of wish casting because Alvin Kamara is still a really good football player.
40:34So it's going to be really hard. It's going to be really hard for them to, unless they just say, Hey, we
40:41need to be done because this is creating some sort of distraction, which I mean, that's never been Alvin, Alvin Kamara's MO.
40:48So you could be stripping, stripping Travis ETN of valuable touches, but not limiting, you know, if he's going to handle 65
40:55to 70% of the carries, you're just not getting the receptions that Alvin Kamara is going to be.
41:01You know, taking it. So that lowers, that lowers his floor a little bit, but he's still going to be explosive.
41:08This is going to be one of the fastest paced offenses in the league.
41:12So maybe you're looking at more RB 16, RB 22 as a finish, which would feel really disappointing, but then you move
41:19on to the next year and he's, you know, he's out of the way.
41:24So you could get back to the RB 12, you know, RB 12 to RB eight finishes where his ceiling is.
41:31So, and you know, he's tied to this offense.
41:33We like Tyler Shuck a lot. We like Kellen Moore.
41:37This environment is what you're, what you're buying into, because if, you know, you're telling me that at 27, he's not going
41:44to be able to catch passes of Alvin Kamara's there.
41:47Then we're limiting ourselves to a very, very, you know, limited ceiling from a fantasy perspective, because he's not involved in the pass game at all.
41:55Right. And you don't, you don't necessarily think of Travis ETN as a pass catching running back, but I mean, throughout his
42:02career, it's been 45 targets, 73, 52, 52 targets, 36, 39, 58, 35 receptions.
42:07Right. And last year he caught six touchdown passes.
42:10You know, so that's just, that's a part of the game that he's, he's not, he's not somebody you think of as
42:17an elite receiving back, but it's certainly not a deficiency.
42:20Like he's had some drops throughout his career for sure.
42:23But like, I thought he was good in the passing game for the most part last year.
42:28He kind of knows where to be. And like, so I think the outcome, like you said, is, is if Kamara sticks
42:35around and does take some stuff from him, it's, it's probably limiting the upside.
42:40But I mean, right now we're pricing him at RB 21 in the rankings.
42:44Right. So, you know, that, that, that's okay. But, you know, he's like a seventh, eighth round pick right now.
42:51And I'm, I'm still okay with clicking the box there.
42:54You might not get all of the upside if Kamara is there.
42:58Right. Yes. That's the, that's the one thing that we can, we can bank on is that if Kamara is there, then
43:05we're not, we're not getting a, a 2025 redo from Travis Etienne.
43:09Yeah. Yeah. All right. Let's wrap this one up again.
43:12Shock that your Darian price was RB 20 for us in the consensus, but we were all in lockstep.
43:18So, Hey, can't fight it. So anyway, appreciate you guys tuning in.
43:22We'll hit the rankings, you know, once a month ish for your pleasure.
43:26We'll do the consensus stuff. I think it's a good way to go, go about this so that we're all not saying,
43:33well, this is my tier and this is my tier.
43:36And these are my rankings and it gets rather confusing for the listener.
43:40So coming through with the consensus here, like I said, everything on the FF dynasty.com is over there with overall rankings and
43:47all these guys broken into tears with the top 225 players.
43:51So you can come over there and check that out if you want.
43:55If you're screaming in the comments about why aren't these guys tiered?
43:59It's like, well, they are kind of tiered, but I think tiers are very important.
44:04But when we talk about it consensus wise, it's, it's a little more difficult to tear them up exactly like we would all have them.
44:12So anyway, we appreciate you guys tuning in. I'm Casey.
44:15He she have FF dynasty. Catch you next week.
