0:12or finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks.
0:15Gemini and Chrome is here for it. Ready to make anything online make sense?
0:19There's no place like Chrome. Check responses set up required, compatibility and availability varies 18+.

0:45We're going to be exploring a lot of different possibilities, team-to-player fit combinations, and then of course, over the course of the
0:52season, we're going to have people who rise, other guys who fall down the board.
0:56So week by week, this may not feel super different, but over the course of a month, I promise you, you will feel a difference.
1:03I've rambled on long enough, almost a minute of me rambling.
1:06Steve, welcome back to the show, man. How are you doing?
1:09Yeah, good, good, good. I'm excited to do... Who doesn't love a mock draft, honestly?
1:13I mean, so excited to do another one. We're going to try to do...
1:17We're not going to purposely do things differently, but we're going to try to kind of make this feel a little bit different from our last one.
1:25So I'm excited to get into it and see all the different possibilities.
1:29And I mean, it's just like teams, right? Like teams, you hear about them running a thousand different scenarios and them gaming through this.
1:35That's really all this exercise is. We're just doing it so far in advance that we have even more leeway to be
1:42like, oh, we're going to talk about this guy.
1:44And then like in nine months, it might be like, that dude's a UDFA.
1:48Like mock drafts this time last year had Isaiah World as a first round pick and like literally UDFA.
1:54So like we get to have some fun with it.
1:56But also, you know, I'm terrible about doing this.
1:59If you guys enjoyed today's video, hit that like button.
2:02If you're new right here, want more draft content, please hit subscribe.
2:05I always say that at the end of the video and I always fail to mention it before then.
2:11But let's go ahead. Let's waste no time. Let's jump into things.
2:14We're using stick to the model again for our mock draft sim.
2:17Awesome. I picked number one overall last time around.
2:20So, Steve, I will give you the honors to lead us off this time around.
2:24Sure. So I literally just said we're going to try to do things a little bit differently.
2:29But with the first of our pick, however, that being said, I'm going to do the exact same thing we did last time.
2:35I think I'm going to go Arch Manning. I mean, the NFL isn't going to let a lot of Manning drop past them like it's happening.
2:43We'll just fill that in. I mean, Dante Smith, Dante Moore still has a chance, you know, this year.
2:48But at this point in time, it's Arch Manning.
2:51I think I saw McShay put out his quarterback rankings and he had like Arch at QB4 or something like that.
2:57I mean, look at this. That's spicy. Sometimes I think he's a little bit of a take machine.
3:02But hey, he played at U of R. I'm from Richmond, Virginia.
3:05I can only slander him so much. But yeah, I thought that was interesting.
3:09But he is Dante ahead of him. So like, who knows, like over the course of the next nine months, maybe we
3:15will feel he's the more polished prospect. The way I look at it, if Arch's last five games of last season or
3:21any indication of what we're going to see this year, he's the number one overall pick.
3:26Like that's that's the foot you want to end last season on.
3:29And I think that that roster has only gotten better.
3:32So I'm expecting good things. That being said, last time we went Jeremiah Smith here to just to change it up a little bit.
3:39And also like it's still well within the realm of possibility that, you know, the Miami Dolphins might finish the season and
3:45be like, hey, Kevin Coleman and Chris Bell. We got a couple guys here and maybe they decide, hey, you know what?
3:51We can get a veteran guy in that room and compliment those two guys way better.
3:56And then we're going to go quarterback here, too.
3:58So, yeah, we did Jeremiah last time. And like, who knows when we showcase our big boards, he's going to be top
4:05three minimum for the both of us. And consensus wise, he's going to be at least top three in almost every big board you see.
4:12He's not a bad pick here. I could just see a world where, hey, you know what?
4:16We got Malik Willis for, you know, half a year basically of guaranteed money left.
4:21But what after that? You know, and maybe there's enough pieces that kind of come together for Miami to say, hey, we feel good about taking Dante Moore.
4:29We don't have to force him onto the field either because we still have Malik Willis.
4:33The receiver room kind of made some progress. We'll have another offseason to make some more moves.
4:38I can totally see a world where they end up going quarterbacks one and two in this 2027 draft.
4:43And ultimately, it's going to be interesting to see how the season plays out for Miami because really their draft position might ultimately make their decision.
4:51For them. But here with Smith on the board, with Dante Moore, want to do something a little different and try to
4:57get the future franchise quarterback in Miami. Sure. And honestly, if the Dolphins are picking two, it probably means Malik Willis didn't have the didn't work out.
5:05So they might be looking for a quarterback anyway.
5:07So, yeah, I think that makes sense. So now this gets very interesting for the Jets because the Jets are scrambling at
5:13this point in time because they need a quarterback.
5:16I mean, they obviously need a quarterback. I think it's too early.
5:19I mean, we could I could force a quarterback here.
5:22Go see Jay Carr or, you know, someone like that.
5:25But I just think that's. Yeah. I almost wonder if you just do that at 13 or.
5:30Yeah. At that point, just kind of. Yeah. Pick one of the three quarterbacks that falls at 13.
5:35So I think I am going to go a different direction and it's do they just go Jeremiah Smith?
5:40I mean, they they got Garrett Wilson and they drafted Omar Cooper last year.
5:44I think one of those guys are an X.
5:47So like. Right. So like they got a room for him, you know.
5:50Yeah. So draft Jeremiah. Yeah. Jeremiah Smith. Yeah. I think that's the only other option I could see is maybe Leonard Moore.
5:56Yeah. Those would be the two. Those would be the two.
6:00Use a quarterback. But and that's going to be most likely my one to when it's all said and done.
6:05So but I'll go. I'll go Jeremiah. I'll go Jeremiah Smith.
6:08I think he's he's the number one. They're just going to take the best player available there.
6:13They're probably going to try and trade out or trade up at that point.
6:17But we're not going to do that right now.
6:20Yeah. It wouldn't be. It's kind of rare that that would happen, but that would be like the Falcons trading up for
6:26Julio that year where it's like they paid almost quarterback asking price because Julio was who he was and get him at six is insane.
6:33I almost wonder if that would be the opportunity here for the Jets where it's like, dude, we're getting like quarterback offers for a receiver.
6:40This is insane. And not that this is like the end all be all.
6:44And this is like what evaluation is all about.
6:46Well, but just think about the Jersey sales of Jeremiah Smith versus Leonard Moore.
6:50And that's not fair. Leonard Moore literally is the Jeremiah Smith on the other side of the wall.
6:56Like they are both equally awesome prospects in my eyes.
6:58Yeah. But like which one's going to have jerseys flying off the shelves?
7:02The receiver over the corner any day of the week.
7:05Yeah. That being said. All right. Let me get to the Cleveland Browns.
7:09It's another team where like quarterback would be nice.
7:11And to be honest, man, I might have to force it because I just don't know what the long term plan is there.
7:18Now, this is another one of these teams kind of like the Jets where we can kind of cheat the system.
7:23They pick again. I thought they had another. They pick again at 32.
7:27So, you know what? I think I'm going to lean into that and just say, hey, we'll get a guy at 32.
7:33So, then this chronic becomes Colin Simmons, Dylan Stewart, or Leonard Moore.
7:37And, I mean, they have a good secondary. I'm pulling up their depth chart now.
7:41Mm-hmm. This episode is brought to you by Google Chrome.
7:44You think you know a browser, but Gemini and Chrome?
7:47That's new. It can help you with practically anything on the web, like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50-page restoration block,
7:53or finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks.
7:56Gemini and Chrome is here for it. Ready to make anything online make sense?
8:00There's no place like Chrome. Check responses set up required.
8:03Compatibility and availability varies 18+. This episode is brought to you by ChatGPT.
8:07Hey, it's Bill Simmons from the Bill Simmons Podcast.
8:09Have you guys heard about ChatGPT work? It's the new way to use ChatGPT for bigger multi-step projects.

8:21work documents like spreadsheets, slides, and structured reports. Get started at ChatGPT.com by selecting work mode available on Plus and Pro Plans.
8:27But that being said, like Leonard Moore, I think it's just like a different level of a dude there.
8:32Also, Denzel Ward can't play forever. Or do you go, I mean, like, because I like Jared Verse a lot, but like
8:38Isaiah McGuire, Derek Barnett, you know, Sam Williams. Do you want to just go get someone with?
8:43Yeah, I think that's the direction I'd go. He hasn't played yet this season, so I'm going to just pass on Dylan Stewart.
8:50And we'll like, same thing we did last month.
8:52We'll penalize him a little bit here. But Colin Simmons plus Jared Verse, I mean, that is an edge tandem to feed families.
8:59Yeah, I mean. This team is going to continue to win games 12-10 just based off that edge tandem.
9:04Yeah, that's probably what I would have done as well.
9:07I mean, that just gives them such a good.
9:09I mean, the other guys you mentioned, like, I like Isaiah McGuire.
9:13I think he's a good player, but he doesn't prevent you from drafting Colin Simmons.
9:17And I will say, perfect role, Dylan Stewart looks like Dylan Stewart.
9:20And, like, he's the pick here because, like, his speed, twitch, bend on the other side of, like, the ultimate power rusher.
9:27Right. I mean, you could have a whole lot of fun and just tee off on whichever tackle struggles with power with
9:33verse and whichever one struggles with bend and those types of edge rushers.
9:37Guess what? You're getting a healthy load of Dylan Stewart this week.
9:40So, yeah, really, that would be the ideal pairing to me.
9:43For sure. All right. So, the Raiders. So, obviously, they got Fernando Mendoza.
9:47So, they got their quarterback of the future. So, I want most – I'm just thinking, you know, right off the bat
9:53that I want to go some sort of offense, whether it's a wide receiver to pair with them.
9:58I'm also thinking offensive linemen. I really like Trevor Goosby to the Raiders.
10:02I mean, they got Colton Miller on the left side.
10:04So, he's, you know, he's going to be there.
10:07But they got Del Mar, DJ Glaze on the right side.
10:10I mean, that's like – they really need an upgrade there.
10:13And, you know, got Tom Brady in there. He knows the importance of good offensive linemen.
10:18You know, Tom Brady, his entire career, at least his Patriots career to start.
10:22Never really had a top wide receiver. But he always had a really good offensive line.
10:26It made it work. Clint Kubiap wants to run the ball.
10:29So, I'm leaving kind of Goosby here for him over Coleman.
10:32Yeah, let's go with that. Let's go Goosby. He's going to be your right tackle.
10:37If Colton Miller, you know, he's getting up there in age a little bit, if he can potentially set over back to
10:43the left side of, you know, down the road.
10:45But go with the franchise tackle. Yeah. And, again, this doesn't normally play into decisions.
10:50But I do wonder if this ever does populate into decision-makers' minds.
10:53But, like, I'm not going to say Ashton Jeans is a bust or anything.
10:57Like, I think he's going to be a great football player.
11:00I'm not really worried about that. But, like, after year one, it kind of did look like, this is a team that probably could have used Armand Membu.
11:08As nice as Jensie was, like, Membu maybe probably should have been the pick there.
11:12So, I wonder if that decision kind of lives in the back of decision-makers' minds where you're like, we probably should have taken a tackle there.
11:20And, like, now we have the chance to take a really good one who plays on both sides of the line.
11:26Yeah, it's going to help out your last two first-round picks.
11:29Yeah. So, it just kind of makes your whole offense better.
11:32Imagine, you know, Ashton Jenty and Mike Washington behind a road grader like Trevor Goosby.
11:36That could do some work. Yeah, 100%. And then, ideally, if he's playing, like, right tackle in this situation, replaces Glaze.
11:42I was a huge Jackson Powers Johnson guy coming out of Oregon.
11:45I'm a big fan of him in and of itself.
11:48Those two on the right side. Yeah, that's fun.
11:51All right. Tennessee Titans. This would have been a good Goosby team.
11:54Because I got questions on, really, both their tackle spots, left and right.
11:58I might go Jordan Seaton here. I mean, they can move on from Dan Moore after the end of this season.
12:04And that feels really tempting. I do think corner is definitely in play here.
12:08But I wonder if the combination of Alante Taylor, Cordell Flott, and then, like, they'll figure out the nickel spot as the year goes on.
12:15Yeah, I think I'm going to go Jordan Seaton.
12:17We also had him fall pretty hard in our last month.
12:20And I don't know if that was necessarily fair for us to do.
12:24So, I'm going to let Jordan Seaton be the pick here at six.
12:28And you also got to think this is a team that drafted a receiver this last year for their number one overall pick at quarterback.
12:35Now they go make that investment at left tackle.
12:37This is, like, how you continue to invest on top of your investment at number one overall with Cam Ward.
12:43So, I kind of like them going all in on their offense.
12:46Yeah, we had seen goals. Robert Sell has always, like, gotten more out of his defenses than, like, their punching weight.
12:52So, I kind of like beefing up the offense here.
12:55Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah, we had Seaton going 15 to the Jaguars last time.
12:59So, yeah. So, okay. So, now the Falcons. Let's see where we got.
13:03Well, London Ward still on the board. Dylan Stewart.
13:06Cam Coleman. All those guys. I think, like, these picks seven, eight, nine.
13:09You're basically, these teams are just waiting to see whichever one of these, like, top talents fall to them.
13:15Right. So, I feel like, you know, I don't want to get too cute.
13:19I'm probably going to draft one of those three guys just because I think there probably is a drop-off after those three guys.
13:25Just looking at this list. So, let's see. Leonard Moore.
13:28Who do they got at corner? They got, well, they got AJ Terrell.
13:32Yeah, both of the Terrells. Mike Hughes. That's right.
13:34He's going to be defensive backfield. Yeah. What about AJ?
13:37Is it Cam Coleman? Because, I mean, how long has it been, like, Drake London and no one else?
13:42Yeah. Oh, God. Yeah. Jahan Dotson and Zaccheaus? Yeah.
13:45Give him Cam Coleman. Kyle Pitts more or less plays.
13:48Oh, Kyle Pitts. But does that get, I mean, not that Cam Coleman is just, like, a possession receiver.
13:53He's not at all. But he's 6'4". Drake London's big.
13:56Kyle Pitts is big. Do they want, would they rather go with maybe someone just, but, or is Cam Coleman just too good to really use?
14:03Am I overthinking it that way? The way I've been looking at it, I think we'll see plenty of vertical field stretching ability from him this year.
14:11Yeah. They have been using London both as their X and their power slot.
14:15I think this would just be, like, clear line of demarcation.
14:18Drake London's our power slot of the future. Coleman's our X.
14:21Yeah. Yeah, let's go with it. We'll figure it out, you know?
14:24Yeah, yeah. Let's go with that. I like it.
14:27Oh, dude, that would be, dude, and to see Cam Coleman playing in a dome for all his own games, like, oh,
14:33my God, man, he'd be a maniac. All right.
14:36New Orleans Saints. I don't think I'm going to overthink this one.
14:39I'm kind of digging where their team building is going, honestly.
14:42I didn't think I'd say this in the year of our Lord, 2026, but hats off to Mickey Loomis.
14:48I did not think he would kind of turn that cap situation around.
14:51Yeah. While also building a pretty interesting young nucleus.
14:54I thought if they turned the cap around, it would be like, yeah, okay, they're tanking.
14:58Like, they are fully committing to Arch Manning, trying to be, like, you know, the next Manning great in New Orleans.
15:04Like, this is a bad roster. But it's really not.
15:07I don't think it's great, but it's got its bright spots.
15:10And I'm looking at corner here. Colleen McKinstry. This is a big year for him.
15:14This is kind of, like, the prove-it year for him.
15:17And then Quincy Riley I always liked more as a nickel anyways.
15:21And then safety. You're probably looking at my comp for Jonas Sanker was Justin Reed, and I believe Reed's in the last year of his contract.
15:28Maybe I'm slightly off. But Reed plus Blackman is your safeties.
15:31Move Riley into the nickel. I'm going to go Leonard Moore here, and I'm going to feel pretty good about it.
15:37They've also figured out that pass rush, specifically with, like, Chase Young turning into a pretty solid player for them.
15:43Not all world, but, like, solid. So I'm going to go Leonard Moore here.
15:47Him, Kool-Aid McKinstry, Quincy Riley. I like that cornerback trio.
15:49Yeah, and that's just best player available. He fell into your lap.
15:53Don't overthink it. Which is, like, Mickey Loomis, the amount of times he's, like, reached on that, like, traitsy edge rusher, the Marcus Davenport of the world.
16:00Let's get back to basics here. Let's just go best player available.
16:04Yeah, absolutely. And I was literally, while you were kind of, like, thinking about that, I was, like, looking at the Panthers depth chart.
16:11I was, like, I will take either Moore or Stewart, whichever one he doesn't go with.
16:15So, yeah. I mean, give me Stewart. They got Jalen Phillips.
16:18They got Patrick Jones across from Travis Gibson. Prince Lee Unmunt Miellon as well was a third-round pick last year.
16:24But I think Stewart's just too good to pass up there.
16:27Also, like, hometown kid at that point, like, South Carolina to North Carolina.
16:31I mean, close enough. You know, like, that would be another one of these, like, jerseys flying off the runners type of deal.
16:37And then, like, Jalen Phillips has really struggled to stay healthy throughout his career.
16:41They've had a lot of money, but, like, I don't know.
16:44That's an investment to me that came with some breakage built in.
16:48Yeah. And then, like, Prince Lee Unmunt Miellon is more of a DPR type.
16:52So, I like that all in all for that room.
16:54Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now, this is a tricky team to draft for.
16:58I think it's a little early to go into your office of line.
17:01The Baker question looms, but I think they'll bring him back.
17:05I think we have to, at this point, have to assume Baker will be a Buccaneer.
17:09Later on, we can maybe change that, but it's hard to, you know, assume that in September.
17:14Totally agree. I'm looking at their corner room. I like Parrish.
17:17Keontae Scott's a nickel. Ben Morrison's. I'm a column.
17:20That's where it's tough. Like, in a lot of ways, I kind of want to go Ashton Hampton here.
17:25He screams like Todd Bowles type. Big, physical, power corner.
17:28But I don't know if they're ready to give up on a column or Ben Morrison.
17:32And then Keontae Scott's a nickel only. So, you kind of, like, have to play Parrish on the outside.
17:38This is kind of rocking a hard place. Could you hear me out on this one?
17:42Because I'm really high on this guy because I watched more of him this week.
17:46Would this be too early for, like, a trade-ass green?
17:49They could maybe get a... I'm not looking at their depth chart right now.
17:53Yeah, they paid odd in that extension. Let me see what kind of guarantees are in there.
17:58Because that's the thing. It's like, as much as you'll see a guy gets a contract, look at the guarantees.
18:04That will tell you everything about this team's intentions of keeping him around.
18:0720 million guaranteed. So, it's kind of like two years.
18:10But that being said, like, I don't see trade-ass green as, like, an awesome in-line blocker or anything like that.
18:16So, it might be good to have someone like that, at least for a year, to kind of get you through.
18:22You know what? Let's have some fun. I think, honestly, I haven't...
18:25I've only watched two games of trade-ass green. I'm catching up on tight ends now, actually.
18:30I think I'm going to have Jamari Johnson as my top tight end.
18:33Okay. But consensus is on trade-ass green. It's kind of interesting to see Stick the Model have Jamari ahead of trade-ass.
18:39Because I feel like trade-ass has kind of lapped Jamari at this point when it comes to a consensus view.
18:45And, like, 6-7 looks like a hoops player when you watch him.
18:48Like, he is... And, honestly, because of that, he kind of rounds out the red zone attack for that team really well.
18:54Nick Buka will create separation. McMillan's big. Ted Hurst will see.
18:58But, like, I think trade-ass green would, like, day one be, like, their best red zone threat.
19:02Yeah. It's kind of like the tight ends in this draft are kind of like shiny new toy syndrome with trade-ass green.
19:09Like, Jamari Johnson's kind of been on the radar for, like, two years now.
19:12Now it's like, ooh, trade-ass green. 6'7", fast, like, athletic.
19:15And we're slowly... I mean, we'll see what happens with the Buccaneers receiver room.
19:19But we're kind of, like, building the Green Bay Packer offense in Florida with, like, this...
19:24A couple tight ends. One that's, like, definitely way better than the other.
19:27And then, like... At this point, we might have receiver one in Mick Igbuka.
19:31Like, I don't want to rule that out this year.
19:34But, like, it might just be a room full of twos.
19:37And it's kind of nice to add a tight end to that mix.
19:41Anyways, tangent aside. What do you want to do here for the Giants?
19:45It's a very good question. Let's see. Could go wide receiver.
19:48I mean, they got neighbors, obviously. Unless you think Odell's really going to make a comeback.
19:52Malachi Fields is the third-round pick this year. I was a little bit lower on him.
19:57I think he's going to be a good, like, possession red zone threat.
20:01But they could probably use some extra juice there.
20:03Sure. Offensive line doesn't look too bad. I love Ellie Manor and Andrew Thomas.
20:07Tackled too early for interior. DJ Reader. I was thinking, like, do they go with a Mari Washington replacement for...
20:13Big Dex. Yeah, Dex for Lawrence. That could be a play.
20:16Did we do Moten? I'm curious, actually. Yes, we went Moten.
20:19I mean, you could do Eccles or Amore Washington to kind of, like, change it up.
20:23Yeah. Yeah, it's not bad. Let me just look at their corners.
20:27What do we got? Corners aren't bad. Let's go.
20:29This could be, like, an Ellis property. Deontay Banks has been having a training camp of his life.
20:34So, I'm kind of... Could we turn that around, man?
20:37Yeah. That would be really good. Best shape of his life training camp stories.
20:41Those have never gone wrong. I'll go... Yeah, I'll go a Mari Washington.
20:45I think he's going to have a big year.
20:47That kind of replaces Dexter Lawrence. I don't think that works.
20:51I think he's a piece that makes the lives of everyone else in that D-line a lot easier.
20:56So, I like that. That's like a team holistic step forward.
20:59Washington Commanders. All right. It'd be kind of fun to go running back here, but I don't want to quit on Ja'Cory Cross-Kermira just yet.
21:06It's going to be another interesting tight end team.
21:08I think Chico Conkwo will have a solid year, though.
21:11I'm kind of looking at receiver. And, yeah, Terry can't play forever.
21:15Diggs is definitely the definition of a rental. And Antonio Williams is slot only.
21:18Anthony. Did we do Becker last time? Am I repeating history here?
21:22With the Commanders, we went... No, we went Jamari Johnson with the Commanders.
21:26Okay. So, we did go tight end last time.
21:28I'm going to go Charlie Becker. I think Becker's the move there.
21:31They need more speed beyond Terry. And they really need a guy who can play X.
21:36Because I think that'll free up Terry and make him a more productive player throughout the rest of his career.
21:42And then Williams is slot only. So, I'm going to go Charlie Becker there.
21:46I like the size and the speed there for that offense.
21:49I like the fit, too. Like, Terry McLaurin is one of the most frustrating wide receivers.
21:53Because he's a good wide receiver. But they ask him to be that vertical threat.
21:57And I kind of wish he would... They had so much of it to be Charlie Becker to be that vertical threat.
22:04So, he can do just so much more. So, I think that kind of almost is an upgrade in two spots.
22:10I totally agree. I think if you made T-Mac more of like an intermediate assassin, I think that could be huge for prolonging his career.
22:17Also, like for what it's worth, Charlie Becker was like 14 of 17 on contested catch targets.
22:21And just about nobody throws a better deep ball in the league than J.
22:25I mean, there are guys who throw just as pretty deep ball as Jaden.
22:29But like, that guy can put it in a basket.
22:32Especially if they use him slot fades. Like, Jaden's slot fade is unworldly.
22:36So... Yeah. Or otherworldly. So, like, yeah. That combo with Becker, I like that.
22:40I like that a lot. Yeah. All right, the Jets.
22:43So, we gave them Jeremiah Smith, right? Already? Yeah.
22:45All right. So, now this is probably when they would just go back and go quarterback.
22:50And they haven't taken another one. So, I'll go CJ Carr to them.
22:53That's my QB3. So, they got to take a quarterback with one of those picks.
22:58Jim Furyk off the board to the New York Jets.
23:00Yep. I love it. I love it. Pittsburgh Steelers.
23:03I mean, this is a team that needs a quarterback like no other.
23:07We did that last time with Darian Mensah, if I memory holds.
23:10And I mean, ultimately, like, we also recorded that right after Drew Allers, three touchdowns.
23:14And preseason debut. And everyone in Steelers, you know, sphere was on that hopium.
23:18But I just, I think the rest of the preseason showed the limitations that comes with his game at this point.
23:24So, I don't know. There's a few different ways we could attack this.
23:28I do wonder if corner is still something they would evaluate and look at.
23:32KJ Bolden, to be honest, is interesting. I'm kind of thinking, like, long-term, what's that safety room looking like?
23:37Make sure I'm not forgetting anybody. Yeah, right now, Jaquan Brisker is a one-year deal.
23:41And also, battles a ton of concussions. Rayshawn Jenkins and then Robert Spears Jennings was a day-three pick.
23:46So, you know what? I'm going to add some playmaking ability to the back end of this defense.
23:52Yes, this team needs a quarterback. I totally understand.
23:54By not going QB here round one, we're basically throwing our hands up and Rodgers again.
23:59Like, I know. I totally understand. Let's just say this team's handled it during free agency, after the season, whatever the case may be.
24:05I'm going to go Tay Johnson here. They've got to get younger.
24:09They've got to get more athletic. And get some playmakers back on the back end of that defense.
24:14Also, back-to-back Notre Dame players off the board. You'd love to see it.
24:18Look at that. I mean, that might be a Baker situation with the Steelers.
24:22Right. Yeah, great shout. Great shout. Something like that.
24:24Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a good one. They could, yeah.
24:27I mean, it's hard. All these, like, the Jets, the Steelers and the Vikings all in a row here.
24:33Like, are you really going to just sit and wait to see if a quarterback drops to you?
24:38Or are you going to be really aggressive, either whether it's Baker or another veteran quarterback?
24:42Tyler Murray. It's a one-year deal with him in Minnesota.
24:45You know, like, there's some guys moving around next offseason for sure.
24:48Yeah. Yeah. So, with that being said, this could easily be a quarterback here.
24:52I mean, like, depending on this year. Well, let's say they finish about fifth middle of the pack.
24:57Like, I don't think Kevin O'Connor is going to get fired.
25:00But I think he's a great coach. But he might start getting on the hot seat and might be like, see, picking
25:07a quarterback here is a way to kind of buy him more time.
25:10So, that's definitely on the – but let me just take a look at what else they might potentially need.
25:16We're getting into the point where they could potentially take an interior office lineman.
25:20They don't really need one. Look at defense. Dallas Turner.
25:23Could use maybe – maybe use a defensive lineman, interior defensive lineman.
25:26Could maybe use a – the corners are okay.
25:29This is a tough one. What's their safety room looking like?
25:32They got Theo Jackson and Josh Metellus. I think we went with a safety with them last time.
25:37Honestly – oh, no. We went Mestermaker. Which very much could be.
25:40But safety, I think they definitely – like, Josh Metellus is a fine player.
25:44You know, Theo Jackson's, I think, kind of just like a guy.
25:48So, we can go – so, my – well, you know, Tay Johnson literally just went off the board.
25:53And then my two was Jelani McDonald. I think that's a play here, to be honest.
25:58But we'll give him Boldom, even though – you know, I think that's just more realistic for how it's going to play out.
26:04I will say his athleticism and then, like, he's a fearless tackler.
26:07Like, there's a lot of him – and specifically his, like, again, range over the top back pedal, super explosive there.
26:13That fits Flores to a T. So, like, he does kind of scream Brian Flores.
26:18Also, backpack safety is off the board. Love to see that.

27:06Honestly, with how many mocks I did last year with them going Grayson Holton, I feel bad for the Jags fans watching
27:12if I were to just drop another OU IDL on them.
27:16That being said, I'm not an Alvaro Regis guy.
27:18I mean, it's fine where they got him. It's worth a stab at it, I guess.
27:23But I think Rooker Roro, honestly, will probably be the more productive of those two.
27:27And also, one's a rookie, one's a third-year guy, so it's not really fair.
27:31Or fourth-year guy, whatever. Eric Armstead, can he keep playing?
27:34Devon Hamilton, to me, is just like, ironically enough, he's a Jag.
27:37He's just a guy. So, you know what? I'm going to go with my DT1.
27:41I'm going to go with Mon Moten. I think David Stone would be fun, but I think Moten comes with a little bit of alignment versatility.
27:49And I'm just going to lean into that and say, hey, whether it's long-term Eric Armstead replacement, immediate Devon Hamilton upgrade, whatever
27:55the case may be, you could ask him on Moten to do it.
27:58So, I like boosting up that D-line there in Jacksonville.
28:01Yeah, absolutely. I think, well, we both had Moten won, obviously, in DTackle.
28:05But he's just going to appeal to more teams than David Stone will.
28:09So, he's probably going to end up going higher.
28:11Fantasy football doesn't have to be boring. With Fantasy Genius, make your league more fun because every matchup matters more.
28:17You know how in Week 12 it can be a meaningless game because you're out of the playoffs?
28:22Now that meaningless game is meaningful. Because with Fantasy Genius, you're settling the score on your rival going back years.
28:28FantasyGenius.io syncs your entire league's history so you can know who's consistently great and who just got lucky one year.
28:33Plus, a human writer delivers two articles to your league's feed every week.
28:37Use code 32BW for 20% off at FantasyGenius.io. Alright, so the Jets are back on the clock.
28:42So, they went Jeremiah Smith at 3 and then CJ Carr at 13.
28:45I believe there was. So, now... Their offense is pretty set.
28:48I feel like this has to be a defensive player at this point after drafting a quarterback and a wide receiver.
28:54So, who do they need on the defensive side of the ball?
28:58Man, the Jets are sneaky, decently good. Brandon Stevens and Israel Thomas.
29:01Yeah, like it's probably a little too early to get linebacker.
29:04As much as like that's probably the area I would point to.
29:08Right, Demary Davis is old. Jamie and Sherwood's fine.
29:10They could go... I mean, they do... I mean, they drafted David Bailey high, obviously, last year.
29:15But they could... I mean, they have Joseph Asai across from him.
29:18That's... I don't think that's preventing you from drafting...
29:21Who's the top, like, edge rusher on the board?
29:23At this point... I don't know. I think that only the top two have gone.
29:28Mateo. I don't understand if, like, even Wilson would be the guy.
29:31But, like, I don't know. That is... That's pretty light against the run with him and the people out there.
29:37So, yeah, Mateo maybe just because high floor... Yeah, I think it's a little early.
29:41It's a little early for him. I think... I like him.
29:44I like the player, but... 17? Yeah, you go Pierre and say he takes a step forward.
29:49Yeah. Yeah, I think if I did go with one, I'd go with Pierre, honestly.
29:53Honestly, you know what? Would you go corner, like, Nashawn Wright, one-year deal?
29:57I think we did corner last year. Would they be a David Stone team?
30:01Nah, I don't think so. Jawan Briggs was pretty good last year.
30:04Yeah, Jawan Briggs was good. I love Jawan. Jawan Briggs is my guy.
30:08He was my sleeper, like, a few years ago when he was drafted.
30:12So, I'm pumped that he's turning... Making a name for himself.
30:15Yeah. And then Daryl Jackson Jr., they just drafted.
30:17So, like, maybe... I wouldn't rule it out, but I don't know if it's a priority, per se.
30:22Yeah. What about Ellis Rob? I mean, they could go corner.
30:25Yeah, that's kind of where I'm like... Brandon Stevens.
30:28This is a make-or-break year for his REA, so we'll find out there.
30:32Nashawn Wright is a backup. Kind of like what I said last week.
30:35He's either going to hit the market and get $15-plus million a year because he gets another six picks this season, or
30:41he's going to be signing, like, a one-year $5 million deal next year for someone else because he doesn't have the ball production this time around.
30:49Yeah, we'll go Ellis Robinson. I think that fits a need and also just kind of where he should go in this draft.
30:55Also, I would say comfortably their fastest corner day one of stepping on the roster.
31:00So, good infusion of speed to the back end of that defense.
31:03All right. Chicago Bears. All right. Well, I got an expert.
31:06Don't mess it up. Don't mess it up. I know.
31:09I feel all of a sudden starting to clam up here.
31:12All right. Automatically, I'm kind of looking D-line here.
31:14We did Will Eccles last week, right? Yep. Okay.
31:17I'm going to try not to repeat myself too much.
31:20Because of that, Mateo is, like, such an easy one.
31:23I even think – didn't we say in the Edge episode we were like, Mateo kind of gives me shades of Montez Sweat?
31:29Yeah. I think that was the guy we said about.
31:32Yeah, not to – Without being, like, 98th percentile 40 and 93rd percentile 3-con, all that sort of stuff.
31:37Yeah. I do wonder if Austin Booker figures it out this year or, like, continues to make it make some good progress.
31:44I was never a fan of the Dayo Odiangbo signing, so – You and me both.
31:48David Stone would be a lot of fun. With Dennis – Dennis Allen's going to love David Stone.
31:53You think so? Mm-hmm. All right. I don't love David Stone, but Dennis Allen's going to love him.
31:58And frankly, a lot of what gave Grady Jarrett success in the league, I think David Stone could implement.
32:04But he also has, like, TNT attached to his hands.
32:06So, it's – yeah. I kind of like David Stone there as you're like, all right, it's time to move on from Grady Jarrett type of player.
32:14So, let's go Stown. Yeah. I mean, Grady Jarrett, he's going to get cut this offseason, like, for sure.
32:19So, they're going to – and also probably Dayo.
32:22So, they're going to need some more just defensive line.
32:25And Neville Gallimore is – Neville Gallimore is just a guy.
32:28Yeah. Yeah. He's like – he's a body, you know.
32:31Yeah. All right. I was so focused on the Bears pick.
32:34I didn't even look at the Bengals depth chart.
32:36I got the approval. You did good. You did good.
32:39Good job. All right. Bengals. So, up to the line.
32:42It's not bad. I mean, well, I don't think there's going to be another left tackle.
32:47Orlando Brown Jr. could probably be upgraded, and he's getting older.
32:50But I don't know if they're going to do that right now.
32:53I was worried if he'd extra Lawrence, John Van Allen.
32:56What do you want to say? He's a curious peak.
32:59But even that, like, I don't need to see it this year first before I'm like, hey, he's going top 20.
33:05Oh, 100%. So, who – yeah, this is just all.
33:07So, I just want to see kind of – didn't you – Tay Johnson go already?
33:12Yes. I would ignore this Brown – it's – they have Brown Tay and Tay Johnson in here.
33:17So, they have – Got it. Two versions of the same guy.
33:20I was going to say. I was like, oh, I'm going to pick him if he's still – When we made this
33:27pick, I was like, why do I see Brown Tay here?
33:30Like, what's going on here? Yeah. All right. Man, this is a tough team to pick for.
33:35I don't think they really need a linebacker, kind of.
33:37But, again, like you said, I think it's too early for that.
33:41I mean, Miles Murphy could be an upgrade. Do we – they might be a Mateo team because Miles Murphy, they need an upgrade from.
33:48Boya Mafe can be good, but – Oh, Shemar Stewart, but he's – yeah, I forgot they have Shemar Stewart, too.
33:54And then Cassius right behind him. And then Cassius.
33:56Yeah, never mind, never mind. Who's their other D-tackle?
33:59Like, I know they just got Sexy Dex. They got Jonathan Allen, who I'm guessing is on a one-year deal.
34:05Yeah. TJ Slayton, back up nose. I mean, does this team just, like, make a hard, fast commitment to never getting beat
34:11on the ground again and go Will Echols plus, like, Justin Lund?
34:14Or do you go the upside shot with Justin Scott?
34:17Like, I could see Justin low-key, the upside pass rush standpoint of, like, Justin Scott.
34:21Hold on. This entire conversation is Landon Robinson erasure, and I won't stand for it.
34:25That, like – No, no, no, no. We support the fans around here.
34:29No, no, no. We're a big Landon Robinson crowd.
34:32I don't know. They're tough. I might be – could they go with – could this be a spot where they go with a gunny tear-off to Lyman?
34:40I mean, Dalton Risner. I know it's a team that is a spot where they can draft luxuries, but I'm looking up the Mike Kosicki contract now.
34:47Ooh. And after this year, they could cut him next year and save $8 million against the Cavs.
34:52Is this Jamari Johnson? Yeah, it's Jamari Johnson for sure.
34:55That's the answer. I was looking at this, like, there's got to be something I'm missing, and that is what I was missing.
35:02That's a great fit. They already don't play Kosicki at tight end.
35:05So, like, drafting another one who's going to have to be a little bit more of a move tight end, I mean,
35:11you've already got the role for him. Yeah. Frankly, he plays more tight end just as, like, an H-back than Kosicki even though.
35:18So, like, he's more of a tight end than Kosicki.
35:21Dallas Cowboys. All right. Real quick thoughts. Congratulations, Dallas Cowboys.
35:23I'm Broderick Jones. I hope that treats you well.
35:26That was a head scratcher. They were going to – Steelers were going to release him, right?
35:31The best thing that could have ever happened to me as a Steelers fan.
35:35The fact that – it's just one round moving up, but I'll take whatever move into the top 100 we can get next year.
35:41Frankly, it's just, like, draft move-up ammunition. Having, like, another top 100 pick, like, waiting in the wings.
35:47I think it might be, like, ammo if we need to move up.
35:50Yeah. All right. Dallas, Dallas, Dallas. So, I'm not going to go offensive line.
35:54I'm going to say that they're content with Steel, Broderick Jones, Tyler Guyton.
35:58They'll figure it out. We did ball last week.
36:00I do think running back would be a ton of fun for this team.
36:04Look at their roster. I almost wonder if they could still draft some more edge rushers and just, like, really load it up.
36:11Because Rashawn Gary to me is – I don't know, man.
36:14Like, last couple years I've tried to get excited about Rashawn Gary and he keeps disappointing me.
36:19I'm excited about Malachi Lawrence. Vaughn Miller is a rental.
36:22Donovan has a Raku. Probably better as a DPR.
36:24But he was okay against the run last year.
36:27I don't want to give up on him yet.
36:29Jayshon Barham, hybrid player. You know what? I think it's going to be Will Echols for me.
36:34They could have cut Kenny Clark and saved $20 million this year.
36:37So, brother, I'm thinking it's – I think it's past time, to be completely honest.
36:42The Dallas Cowboy move actually would be Justin Scott.
36:44So, as much as I think I kind of want to go Will Echols, I'm going to go Will Echols.
36:50But just know, like, Dallas fans, I think they would probably go Justin Scott here.
36:54But we'll see how the season plays out. I can see a world where Echols is just a run stopper and maybe goes later than this.
37:01And maybe Justin Scott turns it on and lives up to five-star recruit status.
37:05And maybe he's the guy here at 20 instead.
37:08Sure. Yeah, no, I like that thought process. I like that pick.
37:11Yeah. All right. The Detroit Lions are on the clock.
37:14And they could use a corner. They could use a receiver, honestly.
37:17I mean, they got – I'm going to say Brown and Jameson Williams, obviously.
37:21I was never a big Isaac Teslava fan. I think they – I've heard some rumblings in training camp that he hasn't been really doing that good.
37:29But I don't know if I'm going to go wide receiver, but that just could be in play.
37:34But I think we did this last time, but I might just do it anyway.
37:38Like, Ashton Hampton is such a Dan Campbell cornerback.
37:41And, like, fit. Like, just – and they need a corner.
37:44Like, I think I'm just going to do that.
37:47Just – I know we did it last time, but it just makes so much sense.
37:51Totally. And also, like, the willingness to tackle. Yeah.
37:54That just screams Detroit Lions. Exactly. Like, I'm right by right now.
37:57Philadelphia Eagles. All right. Do you remember what we did for the Eagles last time?
38:01Was it Edge Rusher? The Eagles picked – where are they on my list?
38:05I don't want to see them. They went David Stone.
38:08David Stone. Okay, yeah. As a Moro Jomo replacement.
38:11Okay. I'm cool with that. I'm going to go Jelana McDonald.
38:14I think this team could definitely go safety. I think in a perfect world, KJ Bolden would be the guy.
38:19Like, to me, he screams Vic Fangio quarters heavy.
38:22Perfect scheme fit. But that being said, a lot of too high coverage.
38:26And I think we're – I have some concerns about – you're a little bit high.
38:30You're one spot higher than McDonald than I am.
38:33Yeah. So it's, like, negligible difference. But part of why he was three for me was just because I was like, I
38:39don't know about the true over-the-top free safety, like, playmaking athleticism.
38:42That being said, you play a whole lot of too high.
38:45I think he's just fine in that. Playing that split safety look.
38:48And then he's awesome playing in the box, coming downhill.
38:51So – and they just lost Sidney Brown this offseason, right?
38:54I'm not making that up. I don't believe. So I think that would be a great, like, box safety type.
39:00I think Vic Fangio would love him as a tackler specifically, yeah.
39:03So, yeah, their safety room right now is Makuba and Epps plus Michael Carter II.
39:08So, yeah, I think Jelani McDonald would be a huge step up in that department.
39:12Yeah. I like that. All right, 49ers. They could use maybe a receiver.
39:16They got Mike Evans and Diabo Samuel. As their start – as two of their starters.
39:20So definitely need an upgrade there. At least – maybe if not next year, the year after that for sure.
39:26Could always use a Trent Williams kind of heir apparent.
39:29I feel like that's every year people have been not mocking offensive tackle to them for four years.
39:34Keon White, Alfred Collins, also Digizua, Nick Bosa. Could maybe go with another edge rusher.
39:38Could never have too much pass rush. I don't think Mateo has gone yet, right?
39:42We haven't picked him. Mateo is still on the board.
39:45Still on the board. That could be in play.
39:47Who are the offensive tackles that are even available?
39:50Yeah, do you go like Sareveld or Keaton Green?
39:53Keaton Green. Keaton Green might make sense because Keaton Green – I know a lot of people protect him inside, but he
39:59could maybe play some tackle and like maybe you start him at left guard and then see what – if Trent Williams
40:05retires and then you see what he can do at tackle, he could maybe try that.
40:09But if not, then you just keep him at guard and you got a really good guard.
40:14And we're at 23, I think that makes sense.
40:17Let's go Keaton Green. I also think J'Kerrius Peek.
40:19Like if this was the offseason – like the offseason where Trent Williams finally is gone, like J'Kerrius Peek athletic-wise, I think he totally is.
40:26Melvin Ciani, the other tackle for Texas. Like if Colton Akibitz, if his time's done in San Francisco, like I'd keep an eye on it.
40:34I could see him rising like late first-round status.
40:36But no, I love Keaton Green. I think Lock – Trevor Lock too.
40:40I don't know if he gets into the first round, but he just seems kind of like a 49ers offensive lineman.
40:46Yeah. Yeah, I could see that. If they were to trade back from like 23 to 32, I think they'd pull the trigger on him.
40:53I think that's the spot in the first round they'd pull that trigger.
40:56Mm-hmm. All right. New England at 24. Is this who we gave Mateo to last time?
41:01I feel like it was. Because he screams New England edge rusher.
41:04Patriots, yep. That's exactly what we did. Yeah. If it makes sense, just – He's played stand-up.
41:09He's played hand in the dirt. He gets spot-dropped into zone.
41:12Like, he's just – he is totally a – he's Kyle Van Noy, but without being Kyle Van Noy.
41:18Yeah. Man, I really feel like their offense is good, man.
41:21Like – Oh, dude. And they side Corey Kiner from Arizona after they cut him.
41:25Dude, I'm telling you, that's a solid RB3. I loved him out of Cincinnati.
41:29I loved him. Josh Farmer, Milton Williams, Christian Barmore.
41:31I wonder if we could beef up that interior defensive line a little bit more.
41:36But yeah, I don't know. The more I look at this edge group, Elijah Ponder, Draymond Jones, Gabe Ackes, and Quintavis Hutchins.
41:42Like, Hutchins, I think, is a solid third or fourth edge rusher.
41:45Ackes, I think, could develop into a starter. Jones is fine.
41:48Ponder's a question mark. But the other side of my head is like that cornerback room is looking a little rough right
41:55now beyond Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis. So, I think I'm going to – and like Davis, if my memory holds, they
42:01can cut him and save a lot of money after this season.
42:04Contract. Let's look it up. They could cut him after this season.
42:08Yeah, they'll save north of $16 million. So, I could see this team honestly draft in a couple different corners.
42:13This would have been a great Ashton Hampton spot.
42:16I'm going to go with Kelly Jones. Yeah. He definitely feels like the most New England corner of what's available.
42:21I'll go Kelly Jones. And dude, two-thirds of the earth is covered by water – or three-quarters of the earth is covered by water.
42:28And then the other quarter is covered by the wingspan.
42:31That is Kelly Jones and Christian Gonzalez in your secondary room.
42:34That is insane. So, I love it from that standpoint.
42:37Yeah, I like that pick. All right, the Chargers.
42:39There's – the Chargers, I'm looking at their depth right now.
42:43They need an upgrade at both guard spots. So, that is definitely in play.
42:47They don't even have much behind their starters. Trevor Penning and Alex Harkey as their backups.
42:51Like – and Cole Strange as their starter and some guy I've never heard of as their other starter.
42:56Yeah, I always wonder if this is the team that like – if Caden Green makes it past like pick 18, they're
43:03like, what do we have to do to get to the spot?
43:06Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, that's just like staring right in the face.
43:10I just want to take a quick look at the rest of the roster just to make sure.
43:15I mean, I'm sure they could use other things, but I think I got to go with interior.
43:20So, who are the interior – maybe Cereveld or who else would be available?
43:24Can you click on the – Yeah, Cereveld's not a bad shout out because I do think he could do some spots.
43:30I think he's listed as a tackle. I don't think he's like firmly a guard, excuse me.
43:35Yeah. Well, yeah, I mean, that's kind of – I mean, they also would just call Carter Smith and play him at
43:41guard, which I think makes a lot of sense.
43:44I mean, because they don't really need – they don't need a tackle.
43:47But also, they – you know, then you draft Carter Smith, you get in a situation where Joel gets hurt again, you
43:53have a little bit of insurance there. I kind of like that.
43:57I think because Carter Smith, in my mind, has a slightly better chance of staying at tackle than Cereveld.
44:02But I think both are probably interior. So, I'll go – Yeah, I like Anthony Knapp too.
44:07Yeah, I've seen some people put him in guards too, which I found interesting.
44:11So, like, maybe that's low-key his long-term home. I can see that.
44:14Yeah. I'll go Carter Smith just to – Yeah, you play the left guard.
44:18Yeah. Yeah, I like that. Him or Cereveld, really, you couldn't go wrong.
44:22Yeah. All right. Houston Texans. You know what? I feel like we can't let a running back get out of the first round.
44:29Oh, shoot. It's too good of a class. Yeah.
44:31And Montgomery – let me double check. I'm pretty sure he's 29 right now.
44:35David Montgomery. Probably. He's 29 years old, turns 30 on June 7th.
44:38Or turned. No. Just turned 29. Okay. Will turn 30 next to offseason.
44:42So, you know, that's kind of the point where you start looking at a running back and you're like, the grass starts looking greener on the other side.
44:50And I also don't know if Woody Marks is ever going to be like, give this guy a full, like, bell cow workload.
44:56Agreed. And part of me is kind of like, dude, wouldn't it be fun if they add a key one leg so
45:03you just for, like, the explosive vibes? Yeah. But – and RB – my RB1 was Ahmad Hardy.
45:08But I'm going to go Gene Ball here because he's so much of what, like, they – what they were wanting to
45:14acquire in the form of David Montgomery. Yeah. Gene Ball brings that and then, like, another level of athleticism and just, like, big playability.
45:21So, like, he's, like, supercharged David Montgomery. So, I don't see how they could look at him and be like, yeah, no, we're good.
45:28Yeah. No, that makes sense. Him and Woody Marks.
45:30That's actually a sick one-two punch. Yeah, I mean, even if they still have David Montgomery next year, you can have Montgomery.
45:36Yeah, that's a three-headed monster. That's correct. Yeah. Yeah.
45:39And then Woody Marks comes in on third downs and then Ball takes over once Montgomery moves on.
45:44So, yeah, I like that pick. All right. With Denver, their linebacker situation staring me right in the face.
45:49And I think at this point in the draft, at 27, you can draft one of these linebackers.
45:54So, I'm thinking probably either Sammy Brown or probably Sammy Brown from Clemson.
45:58Can you look at, click on linebackers? Yeah, sorry.
46:01Just had some big news break about the pod.
46:03Oh, okay. We'll share at the end of this.
46:06We'll share at the end. Okay. Honestly, I might go Chris Cole.
46:09I watched both these guys recently. Chris Cole, I think, has all the makings of first-round linebackers.
46:14So, I'll go Cole there. I like that a lot.
46:17And I like Kingston, Vila Amu Asa. Another one of these guys that's in here twice.
46:21That's kind of interesting. And I like Sammy Brown.
46:24But, like, Brown, I think I'm comfortable with, like, 40 to 50 range.
46:27Yeah. And honestly, same thing with Vila Amu Asa.
46:30In him, it's just, like, I wonder what the athleticism ultimately finally finishes out as.
46:34Cole, to me, especially for, like, a Vance Joseph defense, like, dude, that is, like, a headhunter.
46:39But he also has the athletic prerequisites. And he's got the frame.
46:42Yeah, Chris Cole, to me, he's like, Like, if there's a linebacker going round one, I'm pretty comfortable saying it's going to be Chris Cole.
46:49Yeah, for sure. All right. Kansas City Chiefs. Damn, I can't remember what we did last time around.
46:55I think we did Nick Marsh. We did Nick Marsh, which makes a lot of sense.
46:59Might have to run that one back. Yeah. Because, yeah, they did get Diego Pounds.
47:03And I think they could develop him over at right tackle.
47:06So, Jalen Moore is still there. Josh Simmons. Feeling okay about the inter-off the line.
47:11Sands, Kingsley, Suomata, which that kills me. I loved him coming out of BYU.
47:15Well, loved as strong. But I really liked him.
47:17Was intrigued by his upside. And they boosted up the D line.
47:21They could use another corner. But I'm also like, Noah Williams is such a Spagnuolo guy that I think is going to be fine.
47:27And then Sneeds back. Getting him in the nickel I think is going to be fun.
47:32Yeah, sorry. I hate to have history repeat itself.
47:34But, you know, sometimes it does that. We're going to go Nick Marsh.
47:38That is just, that is the X receiver they have been looking for.
47:42That is just too easy of a fit. If you didn't take him there, I think I was going to take him for the Ravens.
47:49Because the Ravens need one of those, need an X wide receiver too.
47:52Looking at the roster. And they honestly need a wide receiver.
47:56Because Safe Flowers is the only wide receiver that I even like on their roster.
48:00Which is like, I could take Ryan Coleman-Williams. But is Coleman-Williams and Safe Flowers a little bit too similar in play style?
48:06Or do you just, you know, get the best player available at a position in need and go from there?
48:12It could be. They also, I mean, they spent a lot of money on Trey Hendrickson.
48:16But he's on a short-term deal if I remember correctly.
48:19Oh, they did draft Zion Young last year in the second round.
48:22Okay. That gives you at least someone, someone young to kind of develop.
48:26Defensive line looks pretty good. Oh, man. I don't know.
48:29So, Toby Awuzie could be, could get an upgrade there at corner.
48:32Or do you draft a, do you draft a Kiwan Lacy as kind of like a Derek Henry replacement?
48:38I'd be lying to you if that wasn't where my head went.
48:41Yeah. I think, yeah. I think Kiwan Lacy. Yeah, let's go with that.
48:45Dude, that would be so fun. Yeah. And then, like, we could have, like, a little bit of an overlap of Lacy plus Henry.
48:52Right. I mean, that's, like, Justice Hill on the most roids you've ever seen.
48:55Like, that's just awesome. Yeah. All right. Seattle Seahawks.
48:58Drafted for one of the best teams in football.
49:01So, this will be easy. I do think they could probably use one more guard.
49:05I don't know if I'm, like, fiending on doing that right now.
49:08I don't know. Actually, you know what? They drafted my boy Bo Stevens last year.
49:12I was, like, a pound-the-table fourth round kind of Bo Stevens guy.
49:16I think he'll win that job from Anthony Bradford, to be honest with you.
49:20And he won't be all world or anything, but he's going to be a damn good player.
49:25Yeah. Yeah, I wonder if future-proofing edge would make sense here.
49:28And because of that, I feel like Mateo Uyunglele has probably stayed on the board long enough to where he would make sense here.
49:34Play some standing up. Can play hand in the dirt.
49:37They've asked edge rushers to do both of those.
49:40They've even asked, like, Utena Nwosu to move back and forth between on-ball and off-ball.
49:44And I think Mike Mack would value that flexibility.
49:47So, I'm going to go with Mateo Uyunglele. And, frankly, the strengths that Uyunglele brings to the table right now, if Tank Lawrence walks, that is, like, copy-paste.
49:54That's good. Step into that role, and he's a day-one contributor.
49:58Yeah, love that pick. Fits kind of like their just personality and team.
50:01Totally. Makes sense. All right, the Bills. I'm going to – this one, I feel like I'm pretty easy on.
50:07They don't have the wide receivers, a big team need for them.
50:10I know they traded for DJ Moore this offseason, obviously.
50:13But, like, Ryan Coleman-Williams is kind of just a Khalil Shakir, like, huge upgrade.
50:17Like, they will fill a similar role, but he'll just be so much better at it.
50:22But is there a UConn receiver? They just drafted him, and I was kind of thinking – Skyler Bell.
50:27But he was a fourth-round pick. He was a fourth-round pick.
50:30He was kind of a Shakir replacement in the making, too.
50:33Yeah, but he's a fourth-round pick. I don't think that stops you from drafting – getting more weapons for Josh Allen.
50:39And I just think Ryan Coleman-Williams is too good to fall out of the first round, in my opinion.
50:44And he's probably not going to go to the Browns in the next pick.
50:48So, I'm just going to take him here. And if you have too many weapons, it's not necessarily a bad thing.
50:54And whether it's him, Amarian Miller, or Bryant Wesco, I think I would lean towards Miller or Wesco because you can play
51:01him at X and have that field-stretching speed. But either way, you're getting a speed playmaker for the biggest arm in the league, question mark.
51:08You know, like, what can go wrong there? Then we get to the Cleveland Browns.
51:12We haven't taken quarterback yet, so this kind of worked out really well for us because, like, at this point, I feel this is pretty realistic.
51:19Sands, Mestemaker – if Mestemaker is in the draft, he's off the board 20 picks ago.
51:24Because if he was a day-two pick, he'd be going back to college.
51:27Exactly. And, frankly, that's just kind of where I'm at.
51:30So, really, this to me – and Sellers is interesting.
51:33Like, I'm still – like, he was my QB3.
51:36I'm not ready to quit on Lenore Sellers. I think an improved roster can make for an improved Lenore Sellers.
51:41There's also Art Briles coming in to be the OC.
51:44I'm curious to see where this goes. That being said, like, just for the sake of – I don't know, actually, now that I say that.
51:51The problem with all three of these guys is, like, now I'm thinking about Darian Mensah.
51:56He gets to play in Miami and, like, now go throw him in the cold.
52:00I was going to go Jaden Maiava here, but, like, going from USC to Cleveland feels brutal from, like, a condition standpoint.
52:06Because, honestly, Lenore Sellers, his legs, he's probably the guy that can, like, most equip himself to be fine.
52:12I'm going to go Lenore Sellers here. I'm not ready to quit on my boy Lenore.
52:16Hey, I was a little lower on Sellers, but I think that makes a lot of sense.
52:21Like, I think we said in the podcast we did the quarterback episode, he doesn't have to improve that much to become a first-round pick.
52:28Like, if he improves incrementally, but maybe he doesn't have, like, the incredible year, so he's not a top-five pick, and a
52:34team's going to take a chance for him at the end of the first round.
52:39And we are talking about a guy, Richard Jr., I think he would have one more year of eligibility.
52:44So, like, maybe he uses the portal next offseason, but, like, this is kind of a make-or-break year.
52:49So, like, once they get Pete back, you know, they added a couple receivers in the portal on top of the OC change.
52:56I think this should be the year. This should be the year where Lenore Sellers kind of puts it all together.
53:01But here it is one more time. All 32 picks from our updated 2027 NFL Mock Draft.

53:56Comment your thoughts down below. Steve, any thoughts on this Mock Draft?
54:00What was maybe your favorite pick? I'll show the screen one more time.
54:03Yeah, yeah, pull it up. Yeah, I think, I mean, one, we nailed it for sure.
54:08It's 100% accurate. You could have done it better if this was the real draft.
54:12Yeah, I mean, this might be kind of – I really like Ashton Hap to the Lions.
54:17Because we've had that in both drafts. I just think that is just such a team need fit, team culture fit, team
54:23style fit, head coach to player fit. That's – I mean, I really love that one.
54:28I also – I kind of stole – like, I kind of stole this pick from you, but trade as green to the Bucs at 10.
54:35I think that's a player that – I mean, I'm not the first person to say this.
54:40I mean, his potentials are so sky high. Like, that is – he has the looks of a top 10 tight end.
54:46And, you know, if he shows just a little bit more this year, he'll probably go in the top 20.
54:52So I like that pick too. Yeah, I'll give you one offense, one defense.
54:56Charlie Becker to the commanders. Like, that is just, like, chef's kiss.
54:59Don't get better than that. And then Chris Cole to the – like, that is such a Vance Joseph linebacker.
55:05Like, when everything in the world is a nail – or when you're a hammer, everything in the world starts to look like a nail.
55:12And Chris Cole is the epitome of that. So, like, I love that fit for, like, a Vance Joseph defense.
55:17So, good work. Good work, sir. Good job, doctor.
55:20You as well. You as well. Good job. Well, awesome.
55:23We're going to be having another mock draft next week.
55:26Also, next week, we're going to be doing a little bit of a week one preview, if you will.
55:31Kind of talking about five rookies from each of us that we think are going to have the biggest impact.
55:37Somewhat in production, but also, like, if this team's going to make the playoffs, it's because this rookie panned out.
55:42So, be on the lookout for that early next week.
55:45And then, of course, another mock draft next Friday.
55:48So, for my broadcast partner, Steve Letizia, for everyone at 32 Beat Riders, my name's TJ.
55:52This has been the Draft Capital. Until next time, we are signing off.
