1:14But we're talking early rankings today. Just before training camp starts, just to kind of see where we're at.

1:39We got rankings today, everybody. We got rankings. We're just gonna go ahead and jump right into it.
1:45No chit-chat this week. Jumping into these rankings. Let's go.
1:49So starting off drafts this year, there's a couple clear tear breaks in the first round for me.
1:55After that first, like, four pack of players, I think it kind of separates.
1:59All right, without wasting any time, we're gonna jump right into these rankings.
2:04When we started these out, we went with full PPR scoring leagues.
2:08That's kind of the standard now. Half PPR leagues, you know, just slightly devalue your wide receivers a little bit.
2:15But for me, I know how running backs work in our league especially.
2:19And once they're gone, they're gone. So I usually tend to rank running backs a little bit higher.
2:25Even in full PPR leagues, especially receiving running backs.
2:28With that being said, at the 101 position this year, I got Jameer Gibbs.
2:33Now, Jameer Gibbs, it was Jameer Bijan at 101-102.
2:36But for me, Jameer Gibbs, you know, tilted the scales with the strength of schedule.
2:41Going into a contract year. Coming off of last season where he was just dominant with almost 1,800 scrimmage yards.
2:47He had over 600 receiving yards. 1,200 rushing yards on the ground.
2:51Double-digit touchdowns again. I mean, this guy's just hitting his stride in Detroit.
2:56And they love feeding him the ball now. No David Montgomery in the way.
3:01We don't have to worry about that headache anymore.
3:04You get Thanksgiving games with Jameer Gibbs. I mean, there's just lots to love about this guy.
3:09But yeah, Jameer Gibbs at the 101. I know I'm a CMC guy, but Jameer Gibbs is the guy this year.
3:16I'm taking him 101 in every draft I have the opportunity to.
3:20All right. At number two, we're talking Bijan Robinson, who had a monster 2025 season.
3:25Coming off of over 2,000 scrimmage yards. Absolutely tore it up.
3:29The only thing that slowed Bijan Robinson down last season was the Falcons offense.
3:34This guy has everything going for him. He's still young as well.
3:38Him and Jameer Gibbs are leading this rookie class.
3:41Not rookie class. You know, the younger class of these running backs who are kind of taking over the league at this point.
3:48But Bijan Robinson is another guy. Just three down, workhorse back.
3:52And that's why he's in the top half of the first round of these drafts.
3:57There's maybe three other guys in the league that you can say are true workhorse running backs.
4:03And for me, that elevates them over wide receivers.
4:06And I know, like, the wide receivers, they give you the points.
4:10But I'm telling you right now, when you get into the middle of the season and you're scouring the waivers for any
4:17running back you can find because yours suck and no one wants to come off of the running backs, trust me, you're
4:25going to wish you had drafted running backs early and often.
4:28But yeah, Bijan Robinson, I expect about the same for him this year.
4:33A top three running back in fantasy formats. He should have double digit touchdowns again.
4:38Over 1,200 rushing yards. You know, he should have over 600 receiving yards.
4:42He's a clear candidate to be the RB1 and a clear candidate to be a potential fantasy overall number one player as well this year.
4:51So, you know, in the top tier of first round players this year, it would be him, Bijan Robinson.
4:57And then our first wide receiver coming out at number three, we got Jamar Chase.
5:02And I don't really need to say much about Jamar Chase.
5:06I mean, he's, when Joe Burrows on the field, he's the best wide receiver in the NFL.
5:11I mean, even when Joe Burrow isn't there, he is consistently a top 10 fantasy wide receiver.
5:17So, I mean, Jamar Chase gets you, you know, consistency, upside, PPR work.
5:21I mean, he's fun to watch. I love having Jamar Chase on my roster, man.
5:26Just watching that game last year where he took over that Ravens game on Monday night.
5:32It was fun to watch. It was literally just the Jamar Chase show.
5:36And it would be 15 yards Jamar Chase. And I think he put up, like, 12 points in just one drive.
5:43It was amazing. But, yeah, Jamar Chase at number three this year.
5:47I mean, with Joe Burrow fully healthy, we expect him to stay healthy.
5:52You know, I don't project anyone with injuries, even though it kind of factors in sometimes.
5:57But not really. I expect Jamar Chase to have, you know, another top three wide receiver fantasy production this year.
6:04Number four, we got Puka Nakua. And we put Puka in our top ten last year, and we felt that might have been a little low.
6:12That had to do more with the Matthew Stafford back injury during training camp last season.
6:18Going into this year, Matthew Stafford just got paid.
6:21He's healthy. Puka's dealing with his off-the-field stuff. You know, but I think he should be fully ready to go by the
6:28time, you know, regular season rolls around. If there's any issues, we'll deal with that time.
6:34But I don't foresee there being any issues. But Puka Nakua, man, he's just dominant when he is on the field.
6:41Now, the injury bug does tend to creep up.
6:44But when he's healthy, you saw what he can do.
6:47I mean, he was, yeah, this was a guy who finished wide receiver number one in fantasy last year.
6:53He's a top five wide receiver the year before that.
6:57In McVay, we trust. That's the motto. I'm sticking to it with wide receiver ones.
7:02Trust Sean McVay. He knows what he's doing with wide receivers and running backs.
7:06You're not getting the Denver running back situation this year.
7:10You're getting clear-cut winners there. So, you know, load him up.
7:13I love Puka Nakua. I hope he slips in drafts so I can scoop him up.
7:19If I'm in the back half, I think there is potential because people read headlines and not news.
7:25But, yeah, keep an eye on Puka. See where he's going.
7:29I think he should be in the top half of drafts.
7:32But as far as consistent, dominant week-to-week finishes, I mean, this is a guy who averaged 20 points last year.
7:39Over 20 points. And I would expect the same this year as well.
7:43At number five, we got Jackson Smith and Jigba.
7:46My Ohio State brethren. Wide receiver number two. And, you know, my fantasy champion, hero Jackson Smith and Jigba.
7:53Thank you, Metro Dum Dums, for letting him slip into the third round last year.
7:58I appreciate it. I appreciate it. Appreciate the second championship.
8:01But, yeah, Jackson Smith and Jigba, man. PPR monster.
8:04Just lit it up last year. We saw this coming.
8:08And we know how it is for year two wide receivers.
8:11This is their explosive window, that second and third year.
8:15Now, Jackson Smith and Jigba. Jigba with almost 120 receptions last year.
8:19Double-digit touchdowns again. And I would expect the touchdowns to probably drop a little bit.
8:24Probably about eight. I know Seattle loves a run game.
8:27They probably have to run it a little bit more balanced this year with Jadeveon Price back there.
8:33Charbonnet still dealing with the injury. But, I mean, as far as consistent wide receiver production in PPR formats, I don't think
8:40you're going to get a much better option than Jackson Smith and Jigba.
8:45I mean, the floor is relatively high with the ceiling as well.
8:49I don't foresee, like, a number one fantasy finish outcome.
8:52Unless I'm crazy and he just balls out this year and puts up, like, 12 touchdowns or something ridiculous.
8:59But safely say he should finish within the top five wide receivers.
9:03So your, you know, return on investment with your draft capital in drafts coming into August or September is safe when you draft him.
9:11I have no problem with JSN, you know, locking up my wide receiver one spot.
9:16And it would just depend on how I want to construct my roster in the middle of those rounds.
9:22But with those five guys, Jameer, Bijan, Jamar Chase, Puka, and JSN, I think that kind of caps that first tier of
9:29players this year in the first round. So if you're in the top third of drafts this year, I think any of those five are okay to draft.
9:39I have no problem where you take them in that order.
9:42I would take Jamar Chase above the other two wide receivers.
9:46But after that, I think they're kind of interchangeable.
9:49So it would just depend on bi-week situations and how you want to build your roster later on.
9:55Coming in at number six, we got Christian McCaffrey.
9:58And if you guys watch the show, you know I love me some Christian McCaffrey.
10:03It hurts me to put him low. And honestly, I want to put him lower because I feel like the injury bugs are going to hit this year.
10:13This guy who had heavy workload last year. I mean, I loved it.
10:17It helped me win a championship. But you usually pay the next year when CMC gets a workload like that.
10:24He had over 350 touches. We know my 350 touch rule.
10:27The statistics show, you know, it's not good for the next season.
10:31Production decreases significantly for these receiver running backs. For these running backs who have over 350 touches in this season.
10:38I warned y'all about Saquon last year. And I'm warning y'all about CMC this year.
10:43As much as I love the guy. And as much as his receptions help his PPR floor, a guy still foresee a drop-off.
10:51I mean, he's hitting 30 years old this year.
10:54He had 311 rushing attempts and over 100 receptions.
10:57Over 100 receptions automatically puts him in the first round.
11:00I don't care how injury-prone he is. I mean, he has to be in the top 10 of rankings because of that alone.
11:08No other running back in the NFL is going to get you near that volume in PPR work.
11:14I mean, just saying it out loud now, I want to put him higher.
11:19But everything else is telling me to put him lower.
11:22The stats put him lower for me this year.
11:25I know they're going to try and break him up.
11:28I know they're going to try and give him a little bit of a breather this year.
11:34So we'll see how that goes. Yeah, man. CMC, fun to watch.
11:38I love having him. I'm going to cheer for him all year long.
11:43I think I'm staying away from him this year.
11:46But if he drops to the lower end in the first round, I'm okay taking him there.
11:51We know he had some lingering issues last year.
11:54But I mean, when he's healthy and he's on the field, he's getting the ball.
11:59I also think San Francisco's wide receiving core is going to be healthier this year, which should mean they don't need to rely on CMC as much.

14:25Brown. Just doing Amin Ra St. Brown things, man.
14:28Just goes out there, dominates. Another top five fantasy finish last year for wide receivers.
14:33Finished at number three with 117 receptions last year.
14:361,400 receiving yards. Double-digit touchdowns again. I mean, there's not much else to say about Amin Ra St.
14:42Brown, man. Brother just clocks in, does the job, and goes home.
14:46I love having Amin Ra St. Brown on my team.
14:49I usually try to get a lion, either Amin Ra or Jameer Gibbs on my roster because I like watching him play.
14:57Unfortunately, it doesn't work out ever. But we're going to try and change that this year.
15:02But no, man. Amin Ra St. Brown. With Sam Laporta not emerging how we thought he would or progressing to the elite
15:09level we thought he would, it's kind of made space for Amin Ra St.
15:14Brown and Jameer Williams to take over that offense in combination with Jameer Gibbs.
15:19And, I mean, it's an explosive offense. We saw with the departure of Ben Johnson last year to Chicago that there was
15:26a little bit of a dip with the offense.
15:29However, it wasn't significant enough to really warrant any drop in rankings this year for our Lions players.
15:35So, I mean, Amin Ra St. Brown, I think seven is probably his floor, to be honest with you.
15:41I mean, if he goes off, he could have a year as well.
15:46I don't mind taking Amin Ra anywhere in the first round.
15:50If you want to put him in the lower end of that first tier, I'm okay with that, too.
15:56I had a hard time not doing it. But, yeah, man, this is another who's probably going to get, you know, 1,250
16:03yards and 11 touchdowns this year as well. All righty.
16:07At number eight, we got James Cook. Now, we told y'all last year James Cook was going to be a top ten fantasy running back.
16:15I think I had him ranked at number six.
16:18I think Willie had him ranked at number eight.
16:21What did he finish? Give me one second. He finished his running back six.
16:26Come on. We told y'all to stop hating on this man.
16:29Give him some respect. Let him cook. Oh, man.
16:32It's fun watching James Cook, man. He is just a pinball out of the backfield.
16:38He doesn't fall down. You know, weebles wobble, but they don't fall down.
16:42But, yeah, he's fun to watch. And you get to watch Josh Allen with him.
16:47I mean, anytime you're associated with Josh Allen, good things are usually going to happen.
16:52Coming off of what we thought was a monster season in 2024 with, what, 16 touchdowns?
16:57It was 18 touchdowns. But it was 18 touchdowns.
17:00And everyone was, you know, playing it down, saying, you know, post-hype, it's going to hit.
17:06Touchdown regression is going to happen. And we agreed completely.
17:09However, you know, all the experts were saying, you know, oh, it's, you know, six touchdowns is, you know, kind of within the range.
17:17And we fully disagreed with, you know, how that offense is built in Buffalo, with how Josh Allen functions, with the limited receiving options they had.
17:26They had to rely on someone. I think me and Willie both had them statted with double-digit touchdowns last year and in our top 10 running backs.
17:35And this is where we have them again this year.
17:38I think third touchdown regression is still potentially there.
17:41But I think 12 is kind of the floor.
17:44So I'm okay with 12 receptions out of James Cook.
17:48Another thing I like is with it, you have the potential to scoop around in the back and, you know, maybe get
17:55yourself a little Buffalo stack with James Cook and Josh Allen.
17:59If you don't got buttholes in your league, you take Josh Allen in the first round every single year.
18:05Pilar. But, yeah, know your leagues. Know your league mates.
18:08But, no. James Cook, man, we love watching him.
18:11He's electric. He's going to get you PPR stats as well.
18:15Not huge reception value to boost his floor. But he gets you enough to cover up any issues or volatility he might have week to week.
18:24We only have, like, 33 receptions last year. Yeah, 33 last year.
18:2832 the year before that in 2025. So 30 receptions is about the floor for James Cook.
18:34I mean, about 1,200 resting yards. So, yeah, I got him ranked as running back four this year.
18:40I got him over a couple other players just due to some changes in scenery with their locations.
18:46And some, you know, decrease in a touchdown volume for some players.
18:50But we'll cover that here in a second. Coming in at number nine, we got C.D.
18:55Lamb. You know, I think Willie's got George Pickens at number nine.
18:59But that's, you know, that's Willie's love for George Pickens.
19:02But it's okay. I'm just kidding. C.D. Lamb at number nine.
19:06I love the value for C.D. Lamb this year.
19:09You know, this is a potential, you know, wide receiver number one week to week when Dak Prescott is healthy.
19:16And Dak was healthy all year last year. We all slept on Dak last year.
19:21He was one of our value quarterbacks to keep an eye on in, you know, double-digit rounds.
19:27And we said when he's healthy, he's a top five, top six quarterback.
19:31And that's what he came out and did again last year.
19:35But C.D. Lamb is the go-to option. He's the red zone threat.
19:39Pickens might get you the big play value. But C.D.
19:42is the PPR guy to have. I would much rather have C.D.
19:46Lamb over George Pickens. Don't let people get cute in trying to convince you that Pickens is better than C.D.
19:53Lamb. It's not true. Because they're going to pay C.D.
19:56Now, he dealt with a little bit of the injury bug last year.
20:01He missed three games. But he missed three games.
20:04Still had 75 receptions and over 1,000 receiving yards.
20:07He's the go-to guy in the red zone. He's a big play threat.
20:11He's everything you look for in a wide receiver.
20:14When Dak Prescott is on the field, C.D. Lamb's a top three wide receiver in the NFL, in my opinion.
20:21I'm not worried about George Pickens stealing targets or anything like that.
20:25It was, you know, we see it all the time where, you know, you're able to have multiple top 15 wide receivers.
20:32We saw it last year in L.A. with Puka Nakua and Devontae Adams.
20:36Devontae Adams, man. Talk about coming out of nowhere.
20:39But, yeah. C.D. Lamb, it's kind of the same thing.
20:43I think him and Pickens can both be top 15 wide receivers.
20:47We know Pickens is the best wide receiver in the NFL when it comes to beating people one-on-one.
20:53You can't really do it. So, I mean, he's just got to throw it up.
20:58But you're hoping for big plays from Pickens, which is why I like C.D.
21:03Lamb much better. He's a top 10 pick, in my opinion.
21:06That's why he's got the volatility at quarterback is kind of why I've ranked him a little bit lower than, say, Jamar Chase or JSN.
21:15Man, the target competition is there. Not enough to take him out of the first round.
21:20But it's enough to, like, take him out of elite, elite conversation.
21:24I don't see a fantasy wide receiver one finish for him this year.
21:28You know, barring any kind of George Pickens injury or anything like that.
21:33I think C.D., you know, he should have a solid season.
21:36I have him and Amin Ra kind of in that same range, which is why they're in the same tier for me.
21:44But, yeah, man. C.D. Lamb should have another solid year.
21:47As long as he stays healthy, I don't have any issues with C.D.
21:52Lamb this year. Coming up next at number 10, we got Jonathan Taylor.
21:56And I feel like we need to put, like, the big warning sign up here again as well this year.
22:03This is a big fade alert for me. Jonathan Taylor, man.
22:06Everyone has him as a running back, like, two or three this year, which I am highly opposed to.
22:13This is a guy that I have a problem putting him in the top 10, and he's probably going to get moved out of there.
22:21The only reason he is not out of my top 10, the reason he's in there is strictly volume-based.
22:27He's going to get all of the work in Indianapolis, man.
22:31There's no one there fighting for competition with him.
22:34The receptions aren't there. He's not going to get receiving work.
22:38That's not the kind of running back or player that Jonathan Taylor is.
22:42He wasn't like that in college. He's not like that now.
22:46But this was the running back four last year, and this was with 18 rushing touchdowns on the ground.
22:52And then Jonathan Taylor is a touchdown-dependent running back with 18 touchdowns and still only could finish four.
22:58I don't have him finishing any higher than running back five this year.
23:03I don't see him repeating 18 touchdowns two years in a row.
23:07Not that he's not capable. It's just highly unlikely.
23:10It was often Jonathan Taylor after his rookie season when everyone had him as a top three pick the following year going into a sophomore campaign.
23:18Like I said, I'm not huge on guys who get a crazy workload.
23:23So Jonathan Taylor is a guy who had 323 carries and over 40 receptions last year.
23:28So he's right near that 350 mark. But with the lack of receptions helping balance that touchdown regression that we probably were
23:36going to see come, it was hard to put him in the top ten.
23:40But the dominant control he has at that position on that team boosts his value.
23:45I mean, he's an elite player. I mean, given his skill set, he's explosive.
23:50He's strong. I love the kind of running back that Jonathan Taylor is.
23:54If I was building a team, that would be my running back.
23:58But for fantasy reasons, I have to put him outside the top or within that top five.
24:04And he's probably going to get moved as the season continues.
24:08I'm actually kind of higher on Ashton Gentry than Jonathan Taylor this year.
24:12And Ashton Gentry, you know, my man right there, was a guy who's right on that fringe for me.
24:19He's outside the first round right now, but I have him at like 13.
24:23So we'll get back to that. We'll touch on Jonathan or Ashton Gentry in a later episode.
24:29But after Jonathan Taylor, man, same situation, different station.
24:32Devon Achan in Miami. New head coach, new quarterback, new system.
24:36Huge workload last year. I just see regression signs all over the place.
24:40This is a player we had durability concerns about coming into the league.
24:44And I mean, he has, I mean, when you're a Devon Achan owner, the damn weekly reports suck every week.
24:51Because it's questionable. Questionable. Ankle. Shoulder. Ankle. He's getting the cleanup surgery on the shoulder in the offseason.
24:57He should be good for everything. Should just be, you know, back by training camp.
25:02No issues there. I mean, there's still a lot to like about Devon Achan.
25:07If things work out in Miami, you're going to get a value with him.
25:12Because he's going to finish as a top five running back in fantasy formats.
25:16I'm sorry. In PPR fantasy formats. Let me clarify.
25:19But in standard scoring leagues, I would drop his value probably into the later second round.
25:25But PPR leagues, he's definitely mid first round. But yeah, no waddle there.
25:29When we see wide receivers leave, we know target consolidation ends up, you know, heavily in running back favors.
25:35But I mean, this is a guy that is going to have to rely on a committee approach in Miami.
25:42Because I don't think he's capable of taking, you know, 300 plus carries and getting over, you know, 60 receptions.
25:49And he only had eight touchdowns last year. Eight rushing touchdowns.
25:52He had four on the ground as well. And the reception work, you would expect that to be a little bit higher.
26:00And I mean, it's being greedy with 67. But when you see Christian McCaffrey with over, you know, 100 receptions, it's bananas, man.
26:08But yeah, 60 is, I see 60 receptions as the floor for Devon Achan this year.
26:13I just see, I don't know, man. I just, I think this might be my like fantasy wild card in the first round this year is Devon Achan.
26:22I'm just not sure which way it's going to go in Miami.
26:26But this is why it's an early ranking show.
26:29You know, once we get into preseason, once we get into, you know, mini camps and offseason workouts, things like that, the
26:37picture will be a little bit clearer. We'll start getting headlines.
26:40We'll know how the offense functions a little bit better, how it meshes.
26:45But I mean, as long as he's towards the middle to back end of the first round in drafts this year, I'm okay with where he's at.
26:54But I think his reception work raises his floor high enough to make him a safe pick in the first round.
27:01He provides enough touchdown upside to help you win week to week.
27:05He also has those weeks where he's going to put up 40 to 50 points.
27:10And there's not that many running backs who can do that.
27:14There's probably three, and there are probably the three or four other running backs that are ranked above him on this list.
27:21So it's also an X factor to think about when taking, you know, Devon Achan is whoever you're playing against has to think about that.
27:29It's kind of like when you play Josh Allen week to week, you're just like, shit, now I got to play Josh
27:37Allen in the 40 points he's going to put up this week.
27:41It's just kind of like the mental game as the season progresses.
27:45But yeah, man, Devon Achan, super explosive, great receiver, super squirmy.
27:49It just like slips off of everything, man, like just bouncing ball.
27:53Fun to watch, especially down there in Miami in the new regime.
27:57It should be an exciting thing to see this year, but we'll see how it turns out.
28:02That being said, let's move on to number 12.
28:05And last but not least, Drake London. As our brother, Mr.
28:09Savvy says, oh, A-town Drizzy. But no, man, stop disrespecting Drake London.
28:13We keep saying it. No, he's not going to be wide receiver number one.
28:18He's probably not going to be two or three.
28:21Now, Drake London is not going to win you weeks per se, but he is solid.
28:26I mean, you want 18 points every week with a potential for 24?
28:30This is Drake London. I love what Drake London provides for your roster.
28:35In roster management and construction, we'll talk about that in another week.
28:39But having that, you know, we talk about balancing volatility in rosters.
28:43Drake London is not volatile. Drake London is going to get you 18 to 20.
28:48And that's what you can expect. Anything less is, you know, it happens, but not very often.
28:54But yeah, Drake London coming off of another year.
28:57That was a little bit of the injury bug last year.
29:00Missed four games. Still, you know, top 20 wide receiver in fantasy, which is crazy to think about.
29:06Still missing four games. Still had 68 receptions on the year.
29:10Almost 1,000 receiving yards. I think he was on pace for like 1,200 yards or something like that.
29:16So, I mean, he would have finished as a top 10 wide receiver last year.
29:21And we expect Atlanta to come out and pick up where they left off and progress from last year.
29:28I liked what we saw in Atlanta towards the end of the season last year.
29:33Once they kind of started to gel and find their rhythm.
29:36When you have Bijan in the backfield, you don't really have to worry about much.
29:41And I mean, they finally started feeding Kyle Pitts last year.
29:45It took some of the pressure off of Drake London.
29:48The quarterback situation, we got to kind of see how that's going to turn out.
29:53I'm not a big Michael Penix fan. But we'll see how things progress in Atlanta this year.
29:59But, I mean, even if Penix doesn't work out, we know two is there to sling it 40 yards down the field.
30:06And that's okay with me. So, I mean, I'm okay with Drake London either way.
30:11I like the security you get with the pick.
30:15I think your investment with the draft capital you have.
30:18The back end of first rounds especially. And then you can pair him up with another elite receiving option.
30:24Or you can go, you know, maybe Jonathan Taylor slips.
30:28Which, you know, I don't love that one. But no, Drake London at the back end of your first rounds this year.
30:35You can turn around. If you can get him on the 12 and you go on the 1-2 turn.
30:41You go Drake London, James Cook. I really like that setup to start drafts with.
30:46You know, really solid setup. Good upside for both players.
30:50Nothing crazy. It gives you options later on in your drafts to kind of play around with things.
30:56But like I said, we'll kind of talk about, you know, roster construction and stuff like that in another episode.
