Bo Nix

PositiveValue10:35

Justin Mello defends Bo Nix as a disrespected asset, noting he has finished as the QB7 in each of his first two seasons. While Mello admits his ceiling is capped, he argues Nix is a serviceable QB1 or elite QB2 on a rookie contract.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue16:55

Mitch Anderson argues Brock Bowers is currently too cheap as the TE1. He expects Bowers to separate from the tight end landscape like a prime Gronk or Travis Kelce, especially under new coordinator Clint Kubiak, and would be willing to pay a premium to acquire him.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveValue20:37

Brock Purdy is considered one of the most disrespected quarterbacks in fantasy football. Despite being QB2 in points per game last season, he remains undervalued compared to rookie hype, making him a prime trade target.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeValue20:33

The hosts are aggressively trying to trade away Caleb Williams in dynasty leagues, arguing that his market price is too high compared to other young quarterbacks like Brock Purdy who offer similar production.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

PositiveValue2:23

Justin Mello identifies Chris Godwin as a buy-low candidate, noting he is fully recovered from his 2024 ankle injury. Godwin was the WR1 overall in PPR formats prior to that injury, and Mello believes he is the 'forgotten man' in Tampa who could emerge as the primary target over younger teammates.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeValue19:37

Chris Olave's dynasty value is expected to decline as rookie receivers like Jordan Tyson emerge as potential high-impact assets.

Insight page
NegativeValue27:03

Justin Mello advises selling Chris Olave, citing concerns over his health, the addition of Jordan Tyson, and the fact that his 2025 production was heavily dependent on unsustainable volume. Mello believes Olave's value is at a peak that will likely decline.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue2:23

Mitch Anderson and Justin Mello advise selling DJ Moore, citing declining production over the last two years and concerns that he will not be a 'Stefan Diggs-esque alpha' for Josh Allen. They argue Allen distributes the ball too much for any single receiver to command a condensed target share.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveValue21:43

Justin Mello and Mitch Anderson are heavily invested in Derrick Henry for contenders, calling him a 'dark horse' candidate for Offensive Player of the Year and a significant upgrade over Travis Etienne for win-now teams.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveRole25:46

Devonta Smith is a preferred dynasty asset over Marvin Harrison Jr. due to his proven production, prime age, and increased target share potential with AJ Brown no longer on the field.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveValue12:23

Mitch Anderson highlights Jaylen Waddle's elite efficiency metrics from last season, including top-12 rankings in yards per route run, separation score, and route win rate, suggesting his talent remains high despite recent production dips.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeValue7:06

Justin Mello views the gap between Jalen Warren and Saquon Barkley as 'seismic' in both the short and long term, arguing that a 2027 second-round pick is insufficient to bridge the difference for a contending team.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeValue10:35

Justin Mello suggests tiering down from Joe Burrow in Superflex formats. While acknowledging Burrow's talent, Mello cites his age, injury history, and high market price as reasons to trade him for a package including Bo Nix and Jaylen Waddle.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveBreakout19:37

Jordan Tyson is viewed as a superior receiver prospect compared to Luther Burden, with the hosts suggesting his emergence could negatively impact Chris Olave's dynasty value.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveValue26:58

Justin Mello and Mitch Anderson advocate for buying Ladd McConkey, viewing his situation as 'flawless' for his development. They believe he is a prime candidate to see his value increase significantly by next year as he establishes himself as Justin Herbert's primary receiver.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeBust19:47

Luther Burden is framed as a liability in dynasty formats, with the hosts noting his value is inflated by a single massive game down the stretch.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeValue25:34

The hosts advocate trading away Marvin Harrison Jr. for Devonta Smith, arguing that Harrison will likely be the third option in Arizona behind Trey McBride and Jeremiah Love.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue7:06

Justin Mello and Mitch Anderson view Saquon Barkley as a top-tier buy for contenders. Despite a disappointing 2025, they highlight his healthy offensive line, a new offensive coordinator, and a full offseason of rest as reasons for a major bounce-back, noting he is currently 'way too discounted'.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveValue21:59

Justin Mello identifies Terry McLaurin as a 'buy the dip' candidate. Despite a banged-up 2025 season, Mello expects a bounce-back in 2026 as the primary weapon for a healthy Jayden Daniels, noting that McLaurin is still only 30 years old.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeValue19:01

Justin Mello remains a believer in Trey McBride but acknowledges that his 2025 season may be his statistical peak due to expected regression in Arizona's pass volume. He views a trade for Brock Bowers as fair but difficult due to his personal attachment to McBride's talent.

0:56So let's break down 10 trades to make while you still can before the season kicks off.
1:01Let's go. Welcome into the Lineup Show. I'm Mitch Anderson.
1:04I'm Justin Mello. And Mello, let's break down 10 trades to make to get as much value as you can before it's too late heading into the season.
1:12We'll be using some of our smash accept tools here as we break down these trades.
1:17And if you want access to all of these tools, plus exclusive analysis and rankings all season long, you can hit the
1:23link down below or in the card and use code lineup50 for a special 50% off discount that is going quick.
1:29But Mello, without further ado, let's jump into our first trade that you would make to extract some value here before it's too late heading into the season.
1:37Let's start with a little bit of a tier down at receiver going from one veteran to another.
1:43That being, let's move DJ Moore and a 2027 projected mid round third for Chris Godwin and a 2027 second also projected mid round.
1:50This is a tier down I would do 10 out of 10 times because right now DJ Moore is the recipient of
1:56all of this hype being Josh Allen's potential number one receiver could be a potential breakout.
2:01Like we saw what he went to Chicago, but Josh Allen has really become a major distributor of the football who I think will likely continue to do.
2:09So he'll get multiple guys involved where I don't think DJ Moore is going to be like a Stefan Biggs esque alpha for Josh Allen.
2:16And we've seen DJ Moore's production decline each of the last two years.
2:20Some of that might be situation based, but also he just doesn't look like the same player and he hasn't in a few years.
2:27Meanwhile, you have Chris Godwin who's only one year older.
2:30So the age isn't a super big concern and he's in a much pass happier offense than Buffalo who was bottom five and pass rate last year.
2:38And he's now fully recovered from that leg injury, that ankle injury that we saw in 2024, where by the way, he was the wide receiver one overall.
2:46And PPR formats prior to that injury in 2024 wide receiver two overall and standard and half on PPR.
2:51So I like the idea of selling more and selling the hype around him while you still can and trading up a
2:58whole round in 2027, which is a loaded draft class.
3:01This is your guy. Chris Godwin is your guy.
3:03I mean, we've talked about this like DJ Moore.
3:06I think there's so much excitement with getting attached to Josh Allen, but we look at recent years and you've brought up this stat.
3:13Like Khalil Shakir has been their number one and he hasn't really exactly gotten a competitive target share.
3:18Josh Allen spreads the ball around even Stefan digs time in Buffalo.
3:22Like it wasn't as condensed of a target share as people think.
3:25And so I think this is a perfect sell candidate and DJ Moore and a guy that I think both of us
3:32have agreed hasn't really passed the eye test the past few years.
3:35And there's efficiency concerns. And meanwhile, Chris Godwin just two years ago before the injury, like you said, wide receiver one overall in PPR formats.
3:43They pay him after the fact showing how much they believed in Chris Godwin being a receiver for the future here in Tampa.
3:49And I feel like we're all sitting around being like, OK, is the breakout going to be a Mecca Buka?
3:55Is the breakout going to be Jalen McMillan? And meanwhile, maybe it's just Chris Godwin, the forgotten man in Tampa.
4:01That's the actual value here. So to me, this is an absolute slam dunk, especially if you can level up on that pick there.
4:08I just think this is like such an obvious slam dunk and a great one to start with.
4:13They don't call him God lose, Mitch. That's true.
4:16They certainly don't. That's the best analysis we'll get of this whole episode.
4:20Yeah, that's pretty in-depth. We're going to go from a tier down to a tier up here, and we're going to be
4:26moving Jalen Warren in a 2027 second for Saquon Barkley.
4:29And this one is very fun to me because we actually have a trade away Saquon Barkley trade later on just because
4:35if you're rebuilding and the timeline doesn't add up.
4:38But if you're a contending team, I think this is actually one of the best moves out there because there's a real window here for Saquon Barkley.
4:46This was the RB1 overall just a year ago, and now we're leaving him for dead.
4:51But the Kevin Patool disaster in Philadelphia paired with Saquon coming off of a 400-touch run to the Super Bowl, it all
4:57led to an efficiency disaster in 2025. This is a guy that still has juice, though.
5:02Now he gets back a healthy offensive line. They get in a new coordinator who, like you've said, isn't just giving your
5:08little cousin the controller in Madden and letting him call plays.
5:11So we expect to step back way closer to the 2024 Eagles.
5:15Not saying they'll be that, but it'll certainly be a way closer image to that than what we saw last year.
5:21And so if you're looking to go all in, this is a true contending piece that to me just feels way too discounted right now.
5:28Absolutely. Saquon is one of my favorite buys for contenders right now.
5:32There's a couple of veteran running backs I really like.
5:35Saquon is at the top of the list. And Jalen Warren isn't.
5:38I view the gap between Jalen Warren and Saquon Barkley, both in the long and short terms, as so seismic.
5:44Like that. Yeah. A 2027 second, even in a loaded draft class, does not bridge that gap for me.
5:50So if you really want to go get a title and you need a running back, Saquon is a great candidate for all the reasons you mentioned.
5:58He has the offensive line healthy now. He has a new play caller.
6:01He has a full offseason of rest, which obviously going into last season, they played up until the Super Bowl.
6:07And he had a zillion touches. Right. None of that is the case anymore.
6:11So I'm buying this bounce back. And this is a trade I'm making 10 out of 10 times as a contender.
6:17If they had banned the tush push, I'd be going all in on Saquon Barkley.
6:22All of my chips would be in. But at the very least, I'm willing to give up Warren in a second.
6:28Definitely worth it there. All right, Mitch, let's shift gears to quarterback now.
6:32And I'm actually going to hit you with another tier down.
6:35Going from Joe Burrow, trading him away for Bo Nix and Jalen Waddell, which is a pretty reasonable trade in super flex
6:41formats, at least pretty much wherever you look. And I love Joe Burrow.
6:45Joe Burrow is awesome. I'm totally one of the suckers who's just like mesmerized by his aura.
6:50And he's a great player. And he's so fun to have in fantasy.
6:54But this is a tier down I'd be super excited to do.
6:57We talk about Bo Nix and how he's been a little bit disrespected.
7:01I think largely because his ceiling is admittedly capped.
7:04Like, I don't see a scenario he has a top three finish in his career.
7:08The ceiling is capped, bro. Ceiling's capped, bro. The ceiling's total capped.
7:12But he's been the quarterback seven each of the last two seasons.
7:15And he's ranked outside of the top 10 wherever you look in Dynasty, despite only being a year three quarterback.
7:21And I know he already had his AARP membership when he was coming out of Oregon.
7:26But he's still on his rookie deal. Like, he's not old.
7:29And in super flex formats, he'll be a serviceable quarterback one, honestly, I think, for years to come.
7:34But at the very worst, an elite quarterback two.
7:37And although Burrow is undoubtedly better, without question, he's older, he has some injury history, and he carries a hefty price tag.
7:43So hefty that you can go out and not only get Bo Nix for him, but his new wide receiver one in Denver, Jalen Waddell.
7:51That's a tier down I'm willing to take every time to get that stack in Denver, which could be explosive and super exciting for years to come.
7:58Yeah, Bo Nix was like playing at Auburn when I was in fifth grade.
8:03This, to me, is a really high upside stack.
8:05I think if you look at Denver last season, they ranked fourth in pass rate.
8:10As you mentioned, Bo Nix with two straight seasons to start his career as the quarterback seven, which it is funny.
8:16It's like, oh, yeah, maybe there's a cap on the ceiling here.
8:19But it's like, I don't know, I'm pretty okay with quarterback seven every year.
8:23And then you tack on Jalen Waddell, the situation is just getting better.
8:27And Waddell obviously disappeared from a production lens the past few seasons.
8:31But like the talent hasn't disappeared. Last season, he ranked top 12 in yards per route run, targets per route run, first
8:37downs per route run, separation score, route win rate.
8:40Like, I feel like I could just rattle off every stat and Jalen Waddell was popping up there.
8:45So I love Joe Burrow. There's a clear aura gap relationship here between him and Bo Nix.
8:50But he's the older quarterback. He's had health concerns.
8:52I think there's a weird vibe to me around like, how long does Joe Burrow really want to play?
8:58Like, when's he just going to like say, yeah, I just feel like hanging out at the Allo training facility for the rest of my life.
9:06But I think if you can pull this one off, it's a phenomenal teardown.
9:10Definitely. And you get to do the little penguin waddle in your living room whenever Jalen Waddell scores.
9:15And that adds value. That's like a thousand points in a trade calculator to me.
9:19Yeah. We got to build that in, I think.
9:22Yeah, we got it. We'll talk to our guys.
9:25What's up, guys? Real quick, you know, we're always talking about the guys we love to draft in best ball.
9:30And this year, you can actually draft right alongside us as we have officially partnered with Underdog.
9:35It's incredibly easy. You can either download the Underdog Fantasy app or just go to underdog.com.
9:40When you sign up, use the code LINEUP. That's L-I-N-E-U-P.
9:43And when you deposit and play with $5, Underdog is actually going to give you $50 in bonus entries.
9:49So that's $5 to get $55 to draft with.
9:51Underdog is by far the easiest place to play best ball.
9:54That's why we use it year in and year out.
9:57And you'll have the opportunity to draft in a lobby with us.
10:01Plus, tail our picks all season long once football kicks off.
10:04Go to underdog.com or download the Underdog Fantasy app and use code LINEUP when you sign up.
10:09But now, back to the video. But Mello, here at number four, we're going to talk about a guy who seems extremely
10:15expensive because he's the tight end one. And yet, I think he's too cheap.
10:20And that's Brock Bowers. And I've got a tear up here grabbing Brock Bowers in exchange for Trey McBride in a 2027 second.
10:26The expectation when you make this deal is that we see this guy separate significantly from the entire landscape of tight ends,
10:33similar to a Gronk or a Travis Kelsey of years ago.
10:36And he's only 23 years old. And that's one of the main sticking points here.
10:40You've got a three-year age difference, age gap relationship between the two of them.
10:44But I think the environment in Arizona is not going to be nearly as pass-happy simply from a regression standpoint.
10:50But also, you don't go out and sign Tyler Algier and then you draft Jeremiah Love at the number three pick without
10:57the intention of keeping the ball on the ground a little more.
11:00And last year was injury-riddled from week one for Bowers in New England.
11:04He had a knee injury. Still finishes the tight end three in points per game.
11:08And of course, two years ago was his record-breaking rookie season as the tight end one.
11:13Now you introduce Clint Kubiak, who called him a football robot from heaven.
11:17He saw what Clint Kubiak can do when he's scheming up his number one option.
11:21And they improved the offensive line. Go get Fernando Mendoza.
11:24Go get even Kirk Cousins, who's a big step up from Geno Smith, in my opinion.
11:29So I would honestly give more than what we have here to make this happen.
11:33But I think that this is a fair deal that you can pull off.
11:37This one's tough for me. It really tears at my brain and my heart.
11:41Yeah, they were a little split here. I don't...
11:44I'll get out in front of it, though, and say I would not fault anyone for making this trade.
11:49I think this is a very fair trade. The reason it's a little bit tougher for me is because I am such a believer in Trey McBride.
11:57And people talk about the passing volume going down and how it's inevitable, like you mentioned.
12:02And it's totally right. They're not going to throw the ball as much going for it as they did in 2025.
12:08And people talk about how his best season ever will be 2025.
12:12He'll never top it. And that's also true. Like, I'd be shocked if Trey McBride has another season quite like that.
12:18My thing is, he doesn't really have to. Like, he was so phenomenally elite that he can take a cut and still be elite.
12:25We saw... I mean, I think what's reasonable is what he did in 2024 when he still was a game changer.
12:31He was the tight end, too, behind Brock Powers.
12:34Right. And with that said, he was behind Brock Bowers, who I think has the chance to be the Travis Kelsey of
12:40the next decade in this Clint Kubiak offense. He is a few years younger than McBride, although McBride's only 26.
12:46It's not like he's that old. So with all that said, I would not fault anyone for making this move to go
12:52out and get Brock Bowers because I just feel so bullish about the next, honestly, decade of Brock Bowers.
12:58100%. All right. Let's go to a blockbuster here, Mitch.
13:01Let's do a trade here. This is for contenders.
13:03This is for someone who wants to go and win a championship.
13:07Let's trade away Travis Etienne, A-Chan. I hate that I have to say both pronunciations every time I bring them up or people get confused.
13:14But let's trade that guy and a coveted 2027 first, projected late first if you are a contender.
13:19And let's get Derrick Henry, Terry McLaurin, and a 2027 second, we'll call it projected mid.
13:24This is the F them picks. Let's win a title trade.
13:27Like, let's go win. F them picks. And call me crazy, but I would absolutely do it.
13:32I think a lot of trade calculators and rankings would say maybe you don't do this.
13:37I would do it if I'm truly a contender.
13:40Because in my opinion, Derrick Henry is a significant tear up from Etienne in 2026.
13:44Like, I think that is a giant gap. And then if you can go get Terry McLaurin as well in this deal,
13:50who I think is an incredible buy the dip guy.
13:53I think coming off that 2024 season where he had like as many touchdowns as Deontay Johnson and Jacoby Myers have had their whole careers combined.
14:01He was like too expensive and redraft. He was going high and his dynasty value increased.
14:06But now we're coming off this 2025 season where not much happened because he was banged up and his quarterback and Jaden Daniels was banged up.
14:13And people just kind of let that sit in their minds.
14:16And he falls in these rankings and he's cheaper now.
14:19You buy the dip on it though. He's healthy.
14:22Jaden's healthy. I think we could see a really good 2026, even a good 2027.
14:26He's 30 years old. He's not ancient quite yet.
14:29So he's a player I like for a contender.
14:32And honestly, getting a 2027 second out of this as well, trading down just from the late first to like the mid second.
14:38Sure, you'd rather have the late first, but a mid second is still a great pick as especially in this upcoming draft class.
14:45This one seems like a no brainer to me, although it doesn't seem like it feels like a no brainer to a lot of people.
14:52Yeah. How could you trade a 2027 first? That's where all the outrage is going to come from.
14:58Terry McLaurin only being 30 is crazy to me.
15:00I feel like he should have been in that commercial for Tocitos with like Jerry Rice and Dan Marino when they try to play again.
15:08They're like 60 years old. A lot of arthritis.
15:10A lot of arthritis. Yeah. I mean, obviously the big sticking point here is you're giving up a 2027 first, but like
15:17I would do that if I had a real shot to win a title.
15:21And to me, this is like one of those putting you over the edge trades.
15:25We're so far in on Derrick Henry so much so that you've gotten me on the train that I think he's like
15:31a dark horse offensive player of the year candidate, which I still have to make that bet.
15:36But meanwhile, Terry McLaurin profiles to be the main weapon in a projected Washington commanders bounce back that we've been all over.
15:43And, you know, Jaden Daniels number one weapon. So I think you're giving up a lot, but like we play for rings around here at the lineup.
15:51And I think that's always the advice we're going to give is when you're on the precipice of winning a championship, don't
15:57sit on the sideline and be afraid to be too aggressive because I think sometimes you got to make sacrifices to get your ring.
16:04Absolutely. And go get it. That's where we play.
16:07We play to win. So go get your ring.
16:09Don't expect it to just come to you. Go get it.
16:13Let's jump to a trade here that to me feels really obvious, but there is a stink.
16:18around this guy. And some people are getting upset about how much he's getting called a bounce back candidate.
16:23And that's Lad McConkie. And I want to get him in a trade for Chris Alave because to me, one of these
16:30guys is in a situation that feels almost flawless and Lad McConkie built up to help him succeed and ascend.
16:35And then you've got a guy who's in a situation where they just spent top 10 NFL draft capital on another receiver
16:42still has huge question marks around his health, despite a really successful season that was largely dependent on insane volume.
16:48I think that's just such a sticking point to me is I feel like we've all kind of just forgotten about the Chris Alave health issues.
16:55And just like last year, we were all like, ooh, don't want to touch that.
17:00And then he did have an absolutely phenomenal season.
17:02I had him on my team. And every week it was like, oh, sweet.
17:06Chris Alave got me 20 points. But the reason he did that is because he had an absolutely ludicrous target share.
17:13And that's just not going to be the case.
17:15You've got Travis Achan coming in. You've got Jordan Tyson, which if he's on the field, I don't think he commands like
17:22an insane amount of targets, but it's going to be enough that it's going to affect a guy who is basically just a PPR merchant.
17:29And I say that lovingly to my darling Chris Alave.
17:32So this is a situation where I'm capitalizing on the huge year that Alave had.
17:36I'm capitalizing on the down year that Lad had.
17:39And I'm pulling off a heist for a guy that I think, despite leaving a bad taste in people's mouth, has a
17:45far greater chance of being a star on your team.
17:48And more importantly, being worth more at the end of 2026 than he was now, where I just don't see that being even a remote possibility for Alave.
17:56The rare one-for-one receiver for receiver trade. But I love this because a trade like this demonstrates so much of what I
18:03believe in philosophically when it comes to dynasty trades.
18:05One of those things being buy the dip on really talented young players like Lad McConkie and sell the peaks of Chris Alave.
18:12Like you mentioned, he's coming off his first fully healthy season where things look great.
18:17And he's so much more expensive now than he was a year ago.
18:20Like that's the type of player I want to sell.
18:23And then the other thing I believe in philosophically is buying players who project to have their value increase in a year
18:30and sell players who project to have their value decrease, which again is Lad McConkie and Chris Alave.
18:35Because this time next year, if McConkie has the year that he could and probably should have, we'll be saying Lad McConkie
18:41is the young, talented, number one receiver for Justin Herber.
18:44Hopefully Mike McDaniel is still there. We'll see if he gets a head coaching job.
18:49But everything's going to be looking beautiful. Whereas Chris Alave, it's going to be, all right, even if Jordan Tyson doesn't command
18:55a ton of targets as a rookie, he's super talented and he's going to look the part.
19:00And now all of a sudden it's, man, is Chris Alave fighting for targets with another superb receiver in Jordan Tyson going forward?
19:07What's his target share going to look like long-term?
19:09Can the Saints and Tyler Shuck or whoever else is going to be their quarterback really support two elite fantasy receivers?
19:16That's probably going to be the narrative a year from now, which is why I would absolutely go out and get McConkie,
19:22even though a ton of people prefer Alave right now.
19:25I even think there's wiggle room in this negotiation to give up more to get Lad McConkie.
19:30Because to me, you said something really important there with the Jordan Tyson thing.
19:34All it's going to take is one explosive game down the stretch.
19:37Like for Jordan Tyson, like we always see with rookie receivers and Chris Alave's dynasty value is going to plummet because now
19:44he's going to be the next big thing. Jordan Tyson.
19:47Literally look at Luther Burden. Literally look at that situation and talk about a rookie receiver who had one massive game in fantasy football down the stretch.
19:55And now he is ahead of Roma Dunze. I just think you're looking at a liability versus an asset right now.
20:01We're going to be the lineup accountants for a moment.
20:04I'm not qualified for that, but I'm glad. Not a CPA.
20:07Not a CPA. But I am totally with you there.
20:10And Burden is the perfect example. And I think Jordan Tyson is, and people are going to get mad at this.
20:16I think Jordan Tyson is a better receiver than Luther Burden.
20:19I do too. You know, but we could see that really adversely affect the value of Alave going forward.
20:25You want to jump to one that's going to make you clutch your pearls a little bit?
20:30Let's do it. Let's do another little crazy one right here.
20:33Mello, we're trading away Caleb Williams as well as a 2027 second, a later one.
20:37And we're going to be picking up Brock Purdy, Carnell Tate, and an early 2027 second.
20:42If I had pearls, they'd be clutch right now.
20:45They would be clutch. People did not like when I called Caleb Williams expensive Bo Nix, and they are sure as hell
20:51not going to like it when I call Bo Nix target brand Brock Purdy.
20:55Brock Purdy has officially emerged as one of my favorite values.
20:58You might have honestly been ahead of me, so I would just call it one of the lineup's favorite values this summer.
21:05And I think the cat's going to be out of the bag real quick once the season starts.
21:10And look, I get it. Caleb Williams ascending, and this new Ben Johnson-led offense was so exciting last year.
21:16But to me, Brock Purdy has been and will continue to be the most disrespected QB in fantasy football, and most likely the NFL as well.
21:23He was the quarterback two in points per game last season.
21:26Now he adds in Mike Evans. You've still got Ricky Pearsall, George Kittle, CMC.
21:30And now you get the guy we just talked about in Dijon Stribling, who's making crazy camp hype right now.
21:36He's 26 years old. Mr. Irrelevant's just getting started too.
21:39I think people like to think of Brock Purdy as like so old because he's somehow, he's got like a Benjamin Button
21:46thing going on where he equally looks like kind of old and kind of young at the same time because he kind of looks like John Harbaugh.
21:54But I think there's a gap here between Caleb and Brock.
21:57I don't hear what I'm not saying. I don't think like Brock Purdy is a better asset to have in Dynasty than Caleb.
22:03It is not a Carnell Tate-sized gap. So this is a great opportunity to capitalize on the Brock disrespect, the rookie disrespect
22:10of the entire 2026 class, and also capitalize on the Caleb hype at the same time.
22:15And so obviously if you need to, you can mix and match Lemon or Tyson, or you could look to get a
22:21little more value on the pick depending on who you put in and like who the Caleb manager is actually rostering.
22:27But I think the idea of getting a young ascending receiver along with Brock Purdy for Caleb Williams is a really good idea.

23:23Terms and more at applecard.com. 100%. I love Caleb.
23:26I think Caleb's great. I don't want to disrespect Caleb.
23:29But he's somebody I am so actively trying to tear down in so many leagues.
23:33I mean, I'm in a dynasty league right now where I am aggressively trying to trade Caleb Williams.
23:38I haven't had anyone take the bait yet, unfortunately.
23:41Hopefully none of my dynasty league mates in that league are listening to this.
23:45So I lose my leverage. I'll send him the link.
23:48But the reason being is there are so many young quarterbacks right now that are not as good as Caleb.
23:54I don't like as much as Caleb long term, but are maybe just a tear removed.
23:59And the price differential, you can get so much in return.
24:02Like a Carnell Tate who is going, what, second overall in just about every rookie draft of this year.
24:07If you can do that, that's a no-brainer to me.
24:10Again, Caleb's great. He had the breakout last year.
24:13Could ascend even further. But guess what? Brock Purdy had more points per game last season than Caleb Williams.
24:18Just last season, he had a higher points per game.
24:21Do I think that projects to continue? Probably not.
24:24But my point is that is in his range of outcomes.
24:27So it can get like a Carnell Tate out of it.
24:30Why not? And you're right. That Purdy just continues to be disrespected.
24:34People continue to sleep on him because he was mystery irrelevant.
24:37Because he kind of looks like he was 16 years old.
24:40Because when he does the Dougie, it looks like- Out of a Disney Channel original movie.
24:45Disney Channel original movie. Even though he can do the Dougie very well, it just kind of feels like you're watching like
24:51some kid at a pep rally do it. And it's not as cool.
24:55He's kind of got like mascot vibes. Brock Purdy, better mascot or quarterback?
24:59People are wondering. You'd have to be a pretty damn good mascot.
25:03He would. How different in age do you think Brock Purdy and Caleb Williams are?
25:07Two and a half years. Yeah, it's less. It's a little under two years of age difference between the two of them.
25:13So for anyone who's like, oh, well, I'm rebuilding though.
25:16And I want to have like a franchise cornerstone young quarterback.
25:19Why not just take the guy who's like a year and a half older.
25:24And then also tack on Cardinal Tate who's 21 years old and try to get a better pick in the process.
25:30I think this one's a no-brainer. All right, let's finish off with one final trade.
25:34It would not be a lineup episode if we didn't talk about our good friend Marvin Harrison Jr.
25:39who has put on 15 pounds of muscle since we started.
25:43So Jack. We're going to trade away MHJ if we did have him on our team for Devonta Smith.
25:48And this one to me is an absolute smash play.
25:51You might even say a smash except code lineup 50 for 50% off of all of these tools.
25:56I understand the age gap between these two guys.
25:59You've got one guy who's 23 and one guy who's 27.
26:02This one's one of those more legitimate age gaps where you're looking at a guy who's, you know, clearly very young with
26:09a lot of chance to develop versus a guy that's kind of entering into that prime age in Devonta Smith.
26:14But he is going into that prime age and he's now the number one option in Philadelphia with a brand new offensive
26:21coordinator in Sean Mannion out of San Francisco. So I am command a 35% target share in the last two seasons when AJB wasn't on the field.
26:29And now we get to see Devonta Smith get increasingly more snaps in the slot because we have no more AJ Brown here in Philadelphia.
26:36We're bringing in Makai Lemon who's going to be taking over that slot role.
26:40And so expect to see him lined up outside a lot more where he achieved 2.95 yards per route run last season
26:47tied for third best behind two decent receivers in Jackson Smith and Jigba and Puka Nakua.
26:51Yeah, I think those guys are pretty good, right?
26:54They were all right. Oh yeah, they were okay.
26:56Uh, we can't help ourselves. We, we have to end the show talking shit about Marvin Harrison Jr.
27:02Or it's not a true episode of the show.
27:04It's an illness. With all that muscle though, his WWE career in three years is going to be sick.
27:10That's going to be really awesome. Him versus the Rizzler.
27:13Or that's going to be must see TV on FUBU or whatever to be.
27:17All jokes aside though, we've gone to a point with Marv where even if he starts playing better and even if he
27:23starts looking the part and even if he becomes the number one receiver in this offense, I'm just kind of like, so what?
27:30Because we know Trey McBride is the alpha of this passing game.
27:34We know Jeremiah Love is going to be the focal point of this offense within the next year or two.
27:39So even if Marv does become the wide receiver one, he'll still be the weapon number three in Arizona.
27:45And do you really want the weapon number three on the hopeless Cardinals who don't have the quarterback situation figured out long-term,
27:51who are kind of a disaster right now? Crazy straight for our guy Carson Beck right there, Mello.
27:57Sorry, they do have Sid the Sloth at quarterback.
27:59That gives me a little bit of promise. But would you rather have that or would you rather swing for the fences
28:06for a guy who, I say swing for the fences as if it's only upside.
28:10I mean, the floor is very safe. The floor is unbelievable.
28:13The floor is unbelievable. And then the ceiling, you have this guy who, like you talk about it all the time, the
28:20draft capital he had, how good he was in college, how productive he's been in the NFL so far, and especially how phenomenal he's been when A.J.
28:28Brown isn't playing. I mean, we see the top 10 finishes he has when A.J.
28:32Brown isn't on the field. A.J. Brown will never be on the field with Devonta Smith again.
28:37So to me, it feels like a no-brainer, even though he's a little bit older.
28:41Because of the situation, because of the talent we've already seen, I am absolutely taking him over Marvin Dynasty.
28:47I'm just now realizing how big of a muscle gap relationship this is between Devonta Smith and Marvin Harrison Jr.
28:53Marvin Harrison might have more pounds of muscle than Devonta Smith has pounds of...
28:57Pounds of Devonta Smith? Yeah. Pounds of Devonta Smith.
28:59So those were 10 trades we would make in Dynasty Fantasy Football right now to improve our team before it's too late
29:06as we head into the preseason and finally the kickoff to the 2026 NFL season.
29:10Let us know down below what you thought of these trades and any trades you've made recently, and we'll let you know
29:17down below what we think of them. But Melo, before we jump, did we miss anything here?
29:22Think we got it all. All right. We'll catch you guys next episode.
