A.J. Brown

PositiveRole21:48

Historical same-team WR pair example with DeVonta Smith in Philadelphia last year; used to analyze whether injury insulation applies to first and second target share earners in same-team pairings.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveValue22:18

Trade target comparison for injury insulation strategy; listener considering trading Travis Hunter to acquire a tier of player like BTJ or Marvin Harrison Jr. to create injury insulation on their dynasty roster.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveValue17:38

Preferred over Carnell Tate in direct dynasty ranking comparison; Tedderall Mcvillain decisively chooses Purdy in a head-to-head matchup.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveProjection0:36

Currently ranked WR12, 36 overall in PPR; locked for at least 120-125 targets unless the offense is much worse than anticipated; premium pricing appropriate for the number four overall pick tied to a rookie quarterback and coordinator that Tedderall Mcvillain likes; confidence in Tate has grown higher as time passes with less news coming out, with the bubble continuing to get bigger. Should have a decent amount of volume; Wandel Robinson could be a thorn in the side for limitless targets, but Tate will probably still see a lot of targets.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveRole21:00

Teammate context with Carnell Tate on the Saints; discussed as part of same-team wide receiver pair analysis regarding target share distribution and injury insulation.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveValue17:54

Preferred over Carnell Tate in PPR format without premium scoring; analysts take Loveland by a smidge in a close comparison; in premium scoring, Loveland could score around 14 points per game if he is the promised prospect.

Insight page

Devonta Smith

PositiveRole21:48

Historical same-team WR pair example with A.J. Brown in Philadelphia last year; used to analyze whether injury insulation applies to first and second target share earners in same-team pairings.

Insight page

Fernando Mendoza

PositiveProjection5:24

Tedderall Mcvillain is dumbfounded that people aren't way more excited about Fernando Mendoza being mentored by Tom Brady and with Clint Kubiak; doesn't fault anybody who takes him at one or two overall in rookie drafts, suggesting strong conviction in his upside despite Tate's recent ascent in prospect rankings.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveValue16:58

Preferred over Carnell Tate in direct dynasty ranking comparison; Tedderall Mcvillain chooses Wilson decisively in a head-to-head matchup.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveValue16:41

Close in ADP to Carnell Tate; Tedderall Mcvillain has Pickens still in rankings but takes Tate over him in a direct comparison, citing the clean slate appeal of Tate.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveRole21:48

Same-team wide receiver pair context with Joe Burrow in listener's dynasty roster; used as example in same-team WR pair analysis regarding injury insulation and target share dynamics.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveValue19:00

Tedderall Mcvillain prefers Burrow over Carnell Tate in a direct dynasty ranking head-to-head matchup.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveValue18:21

Preferred over Carnell Tate in direct dynasty ranking comparison; Tedderall Mcvillain chooses JT decisively in a head-to-head matchup.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue20:08

Tedderall Mcvillain prefers Downs (London) over Carnell Tate in a direct dynasty ranking head-to-head matchup.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveValue22:18

Trade target tier for dynasty injury insulation strategy; Tedderall Mcvillain identifies Marvin Harrison Jr. as part of a tier of elite receivers (alongside Brian Thomas Jr.) that a listener should target in trades to create injury insulation on their dynasty roster, specifically in the context of trading away Travis Hunter from the bench.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveValue13:33

Tedderall Mcvillain is all in on Quinshawn Judkins; positioned as a late fourth-round guy in startup drafts while Carnell Tate is early fourth; if you have Judkins and lack faith in your running back room, it's hard to move him even for Tate.

0:00What is good? We're live. We're rolling. We got the tripod.
0:04We're going to talk some more buckets tonight. We left off around the glue guy six-man territory, so we're going to touch on that tonight for sure.
0:12We got some questions in the inbox. We'll hit some of those.
0:16Chef has some contract talk that we're going to get into, but I wanted to start off by saying, you know, Go USA.
0:24We moved the stream twice on y'all. We appreciate anybody who's tuning in at this point.
0:29Last week, we weren't going to move it again, but then USA played on Wednesday, so here we are on a Tuesday.
0:36But I did want to actually start off on a little Carnell Tate talk.
0:41Well, Tate talk. Right now in the PPR setting, he's at wide receiver 12, 36 overall.
0:46Is your confidence in Tate growing, staying the same?
0:49Are we, as Tate, is there too much confidence, too much price tag growing in Tate, or is this all appropriate?
0:56I mean, I have very similar feelings about Carnell Tate as I did with Tedderall McVillain once we got the landing spot.
1:03Like, once he was in an environment, and I know, you know, obviously this all changes drastically if the Rams are able
1:10to pull off that trade and he ends up, you know, pairing with Pukun Okua.
1:15But, I mean, yeah, we said that, I mean, I think he's locked for at least 120, 125 targets unless the offense
1:22is just much, much worse than we anticipate with them just taking, like, a marginal step forward between, you know, being the worst unit in the league.
1:31So, yeah, I mean, I feel like it's appropriate.
1:34I mean, you're paying premium prices for the number four overall pick tied to a rookie quarterback that we all really like and a coordinator that we like.
1:43So, what, why, I don't understand. What would be the cost for hesitation just like that we need to confirm it with the outcome?
1:51No, I just, it feels like that we've been sitting on it for a while.
1:56So, I feel like he's always been up there, but I feel like as we've been sitting here for a little while
2:03and less and less has gone on, I feel like the confidence has grown higher and higher in Tate.
2:09And I'm not saying that it's right or wrong.
2:12It just, it feels like we're, the bubble keeps getting bigger and bigger.
2:16Um, that, that was, that was kind of just the only reason I let off with that.
2:22And you're the Titans guy. So, I didn't know, um, you know, if you were where, where you were sitting with it.
2:29Um, I'm, I'm certainly on board. He looks the part, he looks good, should have a decent amount of volume.
2:35I think, I think Wandel could certainly be, um, you know, a thorn in the side for limitless targets, but probably still
2:42going to see a lot, a lot of targets.
2:45Is, is there, you know, at this point in juncture, it feels like people want to put them over Mendoza and maybe
2:53some people had them there, but as, as that sentiment changed at all in, in either one of your minds of, of,
3:00you know, do you feel more comfortable taking Tate than ever?
3:03Or is it Mendoza still firmly planted into, or is it just kind of like, you know, I know you want to,
3:10you don't want to draft for need in the rookie draft, but look, if you need a quarterback, it's hard not to
3:18take a quarterback at that, at that spot. It's really difficult not to take the number one overall pick.
3:24I mean, I still am dumbfounded that people aren't way more excited about Fernando Mendoza being mentored by Tom Brady and with Clint Kubiak.
3:32I don't fault anybody who takes him at one, two.
3:35I think maybe that's kind of where this came from for me is like, it feels like Mendoza hasn't like gone anywhere.
3:42And Tate has just continued to like ascend as, as a prospect that people really like.
3:47So I guess, I guess that was go ahead.
3:50But go, there's a fun factor with Carnell Tate.
3:53Colt, Colt and I have a team together and we're pretty decent at quarterback and Mac Jones and Malik Willis on the bench feeling awesome about it.
4:02Right. And it's just like, all right, well, we have to, we, we took Tate over Mendoza in our league.
4:08It's not a huge buy-in league. We got a stacked roster and it was fun.
4:13And I told him, I was like, we could trade back and we could probably let somebody take Mendoza and just didn't,
4:20you know, he was like, I don't, I want to take Tate.
4:24And I was like, okay, cool. I want to take Tate.
4:28And we did it. But like, if you need a quarterback and you take Carnell Tate over Mendoza, I don't, I don't think that's a good move.
4:37It's just so hard to get a quarterback. Like if you, if you, if you're not, if you're, if you're not either,
4:44you know, dead set, like if you're not so good, if you're, if your quarterback too doesn't make you feel awesome.
4:51Like you have no business passing up on Mendoza.
4:54Yeah. Well, Jeremiah dibble comes in here and just hijacks the stream.
4:58Yeah. Yeah. So pesos or what? No, this is, it seems like us dollars currency.
5:02So Jeremiah, Hey, we very much appreciate it. Holler throughout the stream.
5:06If you need anything or want anything answered, this is, this is very, very kind of you.
5:12We appreciate you. We, we don't get to do this.
5:15If nobody wants to listen and hear what we have to say and support the team.
5:20So, you know, you guys make this kind of thing go.
5:24And, and I think, you know, Jeremiah says he's been a dark place with an injury, started a fantasy league within the
5:31discord chef joined, which I thought was amazing. Since y'all are many celebrities always love the content will always support.
5:38So, Hey, you know, I've, you know, we've all, we've all been in dark places before for one reason or another.
5:44Um, so it's always nice to have a, some sort of an outlet to, to get in there and forget about things
5:52and, um, kind of just take yourself to a place where, you know, I don't know.
5:57I, I don't really want to, um, well, that was well said.
6:01That was well said Casey. And like, dude, a startup draft, there's no better place to be.
6:06Right. So like, if things aren't working out for you, you can go over here and pretend, uh, fantasy football land and
6:13engulf yourself into trades, trade backs, trades ups, plant, plant, plant your flag, whatever you need to do.
6:19And man, a startup, it, uh, it makes up for a lot of, a lot of issues.
6:25So like Casey said, appreciate that Jeremiah. That's why I said hijack the stream with, uh, uh, basically a 49 99 shout out right there.
6:33That'll pay some bills and buy almost a full bag of groceries.
6:37So that is, that's awesome of you. We appreciate it.
6:40Yeah. And I mean, you know, I've had some shitty injuries in my life, um, that have, you know, not affected the
6:47outcome of my life, but certainly affected things that I'm able to do.
6:51And, and day to day is nothing like crazy, but I've had a, a pretty bad knee injury since I was 18 years old that I've dealt with.
7:01I know Shev has, has had some, and I don't know what you're dealing with.
7:05You said it was injury related. So I just took it there.
7:09Um, but we've all been there and it's, you know, there's not too many days in my life that I regret, but
7:16I could remember that day pretty that I'm like, I wish I wouldn't have done that.
7:22Um, you know, and we were, I saw that ACL pop.
7:25We were, uh, we were, we were throwing the football out in front of my house about 20 years ago in the
7:32street one day in case he made a cut and that ACL popped on him again.
7:38He never got it repaired. So it re popped and he laid on the ground and cried for a while.
7:44And, uh, I was like, it's okay, little buddy.
7:47And he was like, it's not okay. This thing is messed up bad.
7:51It is not okay. Yeah. And it's not, I've got a lot more damage in there than, than, than that.
7:58And I've had some surgeries. I know Shev's had some, some, some bummer injuries that have, I'm sure put you in some
8:05shitty spots for long periods of time, man. So here's the deal.
8:09You always had to have, I feel like, you know, and I want to echo everything.
8:14Like, thank you. That's incredibly, I mean, it's incredible that you, you know, that you did that, but yeah, you got to
8:21have like, you got to have a release, like an escape rather.
8:25I won't say release. Cause you know, Sean Watson, he was, he was getting too many.
8:30I got a little weird. Get you in trouble.
8:33But I just, you know, you've got to have an escape.
8:37Like this is what that's, that's what we want to do for you guys.
8:41And like, we just, we take it really seriously being able to give you actionable advice and like passionate about playing the
8:49game, watching the game, like just learning and evolving with the way that the NFL, I mean, it's the most, it's the
8:56best soap opera you could ever watch. So like, obviously we don't have, we don't have football right now.
9:02So people are just doing weird shit, but like, thank you.
9:06Yeah. Thanks so much, man. You know, and, and to what chef was saying, like, we, we, we try to take the
9:13preparation seriously and that we watch as much as we can and do as much as we can.
9:19And we're, we're, we're taking in as much as we can, but we try not to, we, we take the thing that we do on here.
9:27Try not to take it serious. Like at all.
9:30Like that's, you know, we're, we're always messing around.
9:33We might talk a little shit. It's never that serious.
9:36Nobody's ever that, you know, but that's, you know, we, you, I want to be prepared so I can come on here and have fun.
9:44And like, we're talking about fantasy football, man. Like this is, this is pretty silly.
9:49And, you know, but I will say I, the amount of effort and time that goes into this to be here.
9:56It's okay. You could do it and you could do a show once in a while.
10:01You could do a 30 minute show once a week and not to say that wouldn't be difficult, but to be is
10:08the consistently showing up is the part that is, is difficult no matter kind of what.
10:14Um, and being here always. And, you know, so when somebody like that comes in and you guys support us and then
10:21Jeremiah starts to stream off by throwing a nice little, uh, thank you at us.
10:26That's that it means a lot to us. It's certainly not lost on us.
10:30And again, we appreciate you, man. Um, and, uh, let's, let's, let's resume the, uh, regularly scheduled program.
10:36Shout out to meat missile. That's gotta be Shiv.
10:39Yeah. I named, so that startup that, uh, they put in the discord.
10:43I named my team 3M meat missile mafia. I like gum.
10:47I chew it all the time every day. And lately I've been trying this underbrush from Nathan and sons.
10:53It's re mineralizing chewing gum, basically an oral care routine in gum form.
10:57You brush in the morning and at night, but after lunch, there's a big gap where most of us do nothing for our teeth.
11:05Underbrush is made for that moment. Chew it for five to 10 minutes, spit it out, move on, or keep chewing.
11:12If you like the feel of it, it's made with hydroxyapatite, the same mineral your enamel is made from as well as natural saps like mastic and spruce.
11:21So it has that firmer, really satisfying chew to say it's all natural would be an understatement because they make it themselves
11:28from scratch in Northern California where the biggest, best trees are.
11:32I'm so glad I found this company when it's only a few years old and the team is literally making packing and shipping gum every day.
11:40So if you want a simple daily upgrade for your teeth that tastes great, check out underbrush.
11:46Order now at Nathan and sons.com. That is Nathan and sons.com.
11:49Try it now. This July, we celebrate America turning 250.
11:53And there's one question on every grill. Is your beef actually American?
11:56Before you fire up the grill, did you know that more than 85% of grass-fed beef sold in grocery stores is imported from overseas?
12:04That's exactly why I choose Good Ranchers. Good Ranchers delivers 100% American meat from local farms and ranches straight to your door.
12:11So when the burgers hit the grill and the backyard fills up, you know you're serving meat you can feel proud of.
12:19This year, don't just grill American style. Grill American meat.
12:22Go to GoodRanchers.com today and start your plan to get free meat for life.
12:26That's GoodRanchers.com. Good Ranchers. American meat delivered. Anyhow, we got a little Tate talk to begin with.
12:32Let's do a few swipes here just in, you know, good spirits of our, you know, nice crowdsourced website that, you know,
12:39crowdsourced FFD stuff and power rankings FFD stuff, not rate my roster or whatever I saw on there today or roster assessment or some shit.
12:47Right. Your roster? I don't know what it was.
12:50But, you know, again, sounds like. Couldn't be more excited that, you know, there's 783,000 swipes in this thing that we launched not so long ago.
12:59And we're learning, man. We're figuring this thing out.
13:02Website is certainly not perfect. It has its issues.
13:04Certainly none of us are coders by any means, but AI has made things certainly a lot easier to do.
13:11We're not trying to hide behind anything or say anything's perfect.
13:15So we want to know when things aren't working properly and what you would change and what we got right.
13:21But we're trying to make this thing the best we can.
13:25So we appreciate all you guys for hanging out, chipping in.
13:28And again, this website doesn't work without all of you guys.
13:32So appreciate you. Carnell Tate or Quinshawn Judkins. And I'm going to say one more thing.
13:37There was one comment on one of the streams a while ago with me and Big Co.
13:43And some dude was like, this is the most disingenuous guys I've ever seen.
13:47And it's like, you couldn't tell you you misread it.
13:50I could tell you that there's 20 other things that I could go watch fantasy-wise that are just absolutely 100% disingenuous.
13:57There's nothing disingenuous going on over here. No, that's weird.
14:00I don't know. I don't never read comments. They almost never really bother me.
14:05And that one was just like, that was a weird one.
14:09That's what I'm saying. I don't understand. We're trying to trick them.
14:12Yeah. We're trying to. For 10 years now. For 10 years, it's a long con.
14:17Yeah. With Chab, we've been sneaking up on them.
14:20Any day now, we're going to rug pull them.
14:23All right. Carnell Tate or Quinshawn Judkins. It's Tate, right?
14:26Although Big Co. Big Co. I was about to say, I was like, Big Co.
14:31Hot and heavy on the Judkins. You got to weigh in on this.
14:36Hot and heavy on the Judkins. No, no, no.
14:39Y'all not watch this guy? We're all in on Judkins.
14:42Let's start with some conomics. Okay. First of all.
14:45All right. We are all in the cement aisle for Quinshawn Judkins.
14:49Mark that as a tough swipe too, please, Casey.
14:52Oh, that's a tough swipe? Fuck yeah. That's a tough swipe for me.
14:56Okay. The Carnell Tate guy, the Titans guy says it's a tough swipe.
15:00Now, let me ask you something. Let me ask you guys something.
15:04All right. You're on the clock. You got the 103, Big Co.
15:08Somebody comes and offers you the 103 for Quinshawn Judkins.
15:11Are you hitting except Big Co.? I could easily hang on to Judkins here.
15:16It seems like without having the breakdown in front of me, there's Carnell Tate might be around ahead of him in a startup.
15:23And I respect that. Six. If he, if he, Carnell Tate's in the beginning of the fourth round, I respect that.
15:30I think Quinshawn is a, is a four at the end of the fourth kind of guy right now.
15:36But I would have no problem. If you have Judkins on your team and somebody offers you Carnell Tate for him and
15:43you don't have, you know, a lot of faith in your running back room, it's hard to, hard to move.
15:50Yeah. I was just trying to pull up the ADP, but it seems like there is an error with it, Jason.
15:57If you're listening, I don't know what's going on with it, but we definitely can't use that right now.
16:03Anyway. Okay. We got a mic. Okay. We were talking about before the thing started.
16:08So I have, we've got, this is all three of our rankings.
16:12I believe I've got it's Carnell Tate at 48 and Judkins at 62.
16:16So 14 spots. Right. Yeah. So, I mean, if you, then it's tape on a market value situation, but obviously my rankings aren't in there.
16:24Right. So that's what. Because Judkins would have been a couple of spots ahead about in the average.
16:30Yeah. So how do you, so, so, so, so I'm thinking, I'm thinking Tate.
16:34Okay. All right. Gospel George or, or regular George.
16:37So Tate or George Pickens. Tate. I have a hard time.
16:41I've got Pickens still. So they're close in ADP.
16:44I mean, I, I think, I think I'm just, I think I'm just going to take Tate.
16:49I'm just going to take the, the clean, the clean slate Tate on that one.
16:54Garrett Wilson or Carnell Tate. Wilson. Wilson. Wilson. Brock Purdy or Tate.
16:58It's got to be Purdy, right? It's Purdy. Yeah.
17:01I can handle Purdy there. JT or Tate. JT.
17:04JT. Joe Burr or Tate. Burrow. Omar on Hampton or Tate.
17:08Hampton. This is interesting though. London or Tate. London.
17:11Colston Loveland or Tate. This is PPR. This is PPR.
17:14Oh, no super flex. No, no premium. Oh, what?
17:17No super flex. No, no, no premium. No premium.
17:20Irrelevant if they're super flex or not here, but.
17:23Yeah. Words. No title. Times guys. Yeah. Well, I just meant because we had a quarter borough.
17:28Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I'll take Tate over borough if it's one quarterback, but I'll still take Loveland.
17:35I would take Loveland as well. That's this is this is close without really.
17:39I didn't premium. I would think that. I don't know.
17:42That's a, that's a really tough one. Because, I mean, you think Colston Loveland and premium is going to come out and score what?
17:5014, 14 points a game. If, if he is the prince who was promised.
17:55Yeah. I mean, uh, we'll, we'll, we'll take, we'll take Loveland by a smidge.
17:59All right. This, this is a tough one for me.
18:03Tater Tyson. Cause I, I, I've had Tyson ahead most of this time.
18:07I've, I've recently just kind of slid Tate ahead of Tyson just cause it, it feels like it's a, a bit more
18:14of a sure thing of volume going his way.
18:17But this is, this is really tight for me.
18:20I don't, I don't have that much of a difference between these two guys.
18:24I'd see that the saints offense potentially could have a bigger pie.
18:28And I'm, I want the Titans offense to perform and I want to see the growth out of cam ward and, but
18:35there is a wild amount of, I wouldn't say wild, but the continuity of what's going on with the saints right now
18:43and bringing in the weapons that they're bringing in this year, signing the running back, bringing in the high profile wide receiver
18:50and a dart throw tight end and Kellen Moore.
18:53And so I could see how Cornell Tate could get more target share from his team.
18:58And that doesn't necessarily represent more average fantasy points per game than what Tyson might get if the saints are rolling.
19:05But I would definitely, uh, I've taken Tate over Tyson just, I think I said it maybe last week or a couple
19:12of weeks ago, just a step of just, I was in a league where I really couldn't make a mistake because I
19:19had some other problems and I really needed to hit that draft pit.
19:23And I didn't have a YOLO, like I'm not that Tyson's a YOLO situation, but like just the multiple injuries in college,
19:30Tate hadn't had, let me just grab Tate hadn't been hurt knowing that Tyson may come out and look awesome.
19:37Yeah. Yeah. Fantasy meatball says I'd rather have Warren round and a half later than what I'm with you, bud.
19:43I'm right there with you. Sexy. Yes. Um, this, uh, Josh says he's clicking Tate till his fingernails bleed.
19:50I like that. Um, all right. Um, let's, let's answer a couple of questions.
19:54We'll get to the buckets. Shev's got some contract conversation for us.
19:58Um, so let's jump into the question here. Uh, we've got a couple of things in the inbox.
20:04Let's jump into, um, the one from, uh, five 23.
20:07Three. So he's been in here for a little while.
20:11Let's bring that up, switch that over. All right.
20:13So looking at my team, do you think I have enough production to take the chip?
20:19We're in our second year. We have a, we did this one already.
20:23Yeah, we did this five 23. How's about that?
20:26That's way back. No, it was six 23. I just didn't market it.
20:30Okay. My bad. My bad. Hey, we're on the live 23.
20:34It's like, we got to step our game up.
20:37We did that on the live stream. That was my bad.
20:40All right. Next one down here. Um, Hey guys question.
20:43Has anyone looked into the data on wide receiver pairs on the same team, both finishing as top 30 wide receivers or
20:51whatever the cutoff makes sense and its impact on a fantasy roster?
20:54Um, I have, I don't, I don't have the data on that, but I mean, we've had times we just kind of
21:02were talking about it a little bit with Tate and Olave, right?
21:06Yeah. Um, does anybody have any, any firm stances on that?
21:09I'm sure none of us have data in front of us for that, but well, he go ahead.
21:15No, go ahead. I just, there's, if the offense is good and the players are good, you shouldn't care.
21:21It's just points in your lineup. You just have to account for an extra spot on a bi-week.
21:27Um, yeah. Um, I'm going to finish the question and then I'll let big co-hop in here.
21:33Is there a balanced downside or lower weekly ceiling, but higher weekly floor, or does one outweigh the other?
21:39For instance, I have burden and a doones day on my dynasty team along with Loveland, uh, as well as London and pits.
21:46I don't know if this would apply to first and second target share earners and Brown and Smith Philly last year, I
21:53thought that my injury insulation might be tipping points for versus against.
21:57If one player gets injured, the value of the other inherently increases and the overall value, uh, and the overall value of your fantasy team.
22:05And more importantly, your starting roster takes less of a dip, maybe even increase if there's consistent target share spike.
22:12Uh, with that in mind, what would make sense with my teams with Travis Hunter on my bench who is going after
22:19a certain tier of player to target like BTJ or Marvin Harrison Jr.
22:23Due to injury insulation, BTJ would create for an already existing roster spot on my team that did not exist previously is, or is all this hogwash?
22:32Thanks guys. So basically, you know, are you, how are you, what's your thoughts process on owning two guys on the same team?
22:40Is that something that you look to move on from, or is it circumstantial because of kind of what you were mentioning,
22:47big co like saints offense, you feel more comfortable with, with the pie being able to be divided into and, and have,
22:54um, and Philly, I think has done a good job, but it's certainly kept Devonta Smith probably from exceeding, uh, the kind
23:01of high end WR two situation that he's been in a lot of his career.
23:06Right. Um, and now we're about to, you know, it feels like Caleb can facilitate potentially three and not be concerned, but
23:13generally like that, that, that does seem like somebody is going to be the odd man out week in week out for the most part.
23:21Um, it's just how much floor can Caleb create in there for all those guys?
23:26Um, there's going to be ceiling games. I think for all of them, it's just, you know, and all those guys would
23:33pretty much always be in your lineup. So it's like, you know, same with like, there's probably a point with Drake and
23:40pits where pits may have been out of your lineup, but Drake's pretty much in your lineup every week.
23:47And now Drake and pits are pretty much always in your lineup.
23:51Devonta Smith and AJ Brown were pretty much always in your lineup.
23:54Right. Right. And I don't think it's about it to me, it just depends on the value that you got those guys
24:02on and are they returning value on what they, and most likely the answer is yes.
24:07I mean, I don't know if there's anything else that you guys would want to chime in here and how you play it.
24:14And do you try to move one or keep one or what's, what's your sentiment here on this kind of situation?
24:21Yeah. I mean, you like target distribution, right? He, he, he mentions pits in London, right?
24:26Like I, and then you bring in Bichon. Like, I don't, I think that, you know, the Falcons have every reason to
24:34give 90% of that offense to those three guys.
24:36Right. And funny enough, you mentioned Eagles, but that Kellen Moore was the offensive coordinator for their best, like most efficient season a couple of years ago.
24:45Right. And so like, and speaking of the bears with burden and Rome and, and Loveland, like multiple times in the last
24:52couple of months, when we bring this up, the answer is the quarterback.
24:57You know, the answer is like you said, Casey said it laid it out perfectly just now.
25:02Like you're not going to have many, I guess because Luther burden was a second round, late first, early second round draft pick last year.
25:10You, you could have him in a couple of spots where you don't necessarily quote unquote, need him to be in your starting lineup.
25:18But like, you, you're not, you're not benching any of those guys and you're just going to have to like the ceiling
25:25games and where are the floors going to be for the bears.
25:29But like the answer is Caleb Williams, you know?
25:32And I, I think, um, you know, they're eligibles.
25:35They're not full. Like they let more go and, uh, they, they do have a, the second tight end is really a solid, solid player.
25:43Deandre Swift RB two every year in the league.
25:46Like they got other options, but we all want that to be highly targeted, you know, distribution just sit there, just concentrated on those three guys.
25:55That's what we want to see happen. Like Casey said, basically, what are your values at?
26:00Like, I'm not just like going out of my way to draft two wide receivers on the same team, but like, but
26:07I think you're also not, not going out of your way.
26:11No, I, I, all right. I was trying, I was about to just bring it back around to the Peyton Manning days.
26:18Like when you find that quarterback, like Joe Burrow, when, when Joe Burrow is hurt healthy and T Higgins is healthy.
26:25T Higgins is a wide receiver one. And no matter what, what during that timeframe, Jamar chase is the best wide receiver in the league.
26:33So like when it's clicking, that's, I would wrap.
26:36I want a part of it. When it's clicking, I want to ride it hot and heavy, right?
26:41Like I want that, but there's not like a lot of situations where you're going to, where it's going to be hot and heavy.
26:49It's just, you know, let's say the Cardinals for years and years and years, they couldn't like ever since Kurt Warner left, they couldn't complete a pass.
26:58So like, I don't want two wide receivers from the Cardinals.
27:02You know, I don't want to. So I don't want two wide receivers on the Browns.
27:07I don't want two wide receivers on the Panthers.
27:10Like I don't want two wide receivers on a couple of the bottom feeders that can't get the ball down the field.
27:17And maybe the Panthers are going to have a come up and maybe the Cardinals will figure out a quarterback, you know what I mean?
27:25But like, and maybe the Browns are probably going to be the Browns, but the whole point, you know, I don't want
27:32two wide receivers from a bad offense. I will go out of my way to stay away from that.
27:38I don't want too many pieces on the bad offense, but I, when it happens, I will gobble up the players as based on value.
27:47And if it's too, I'm not going to let that change my dynasty set up, you know, this is like, he's a, he ain't lying.
27:55This lineup he has is very interesting with a lot of two for chef.
27:59Where are you at here? So big co brought it the, the, the best point that you made there.
28:05Big co is like, if it's T Higgins and, and Jamar chase and Joe burrow, that's elite.
28:11If it's George Pickens and Dak Prescott and CD lamb, that's elite.
28:15Right? Like you're not going and doing Adonai Mitchell, Gino Smith and, and Garrett Wilson.
28:20Like you're not going for, you're not going for a throuple like that.
28:24It's gotta be, it's gotta be elite. Now this has the potential we believe to be elite.
28:29You know, we law, we all say Adams and Puka last year, you know, Matt Stafford, elite quarterback.
28:35When you get on the, when you find the quarterback, there comes your multiple assets every week.
28:41Yes. So long story short. Yes, this is okay.
28:44This is speculative though, because Caleb Williams hasn't, Caleb Williams has become a force in and of himself.
28:50Now we need him to become a force that delivers the football to the other guys with, you know, on a, on a consistent basis.
28:58And we're getting wide receiver one weeks from Roman Dunes and Luther Burton and Colston Loveland.
29:03It could be like you said, 2004 Peyton Manning, where he's got Marvin Wayne and Reggie or Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Brandon Stokely and Dallas Clark.
29:12And, and, and, and, uh, it was Adrian, it was Adrian, Adrian James was still there.
29:17He left. He had left. Okay. Who was anyway, but no Marshall Falk left.
29:22Adrian James came in. Adrian James came in. So the point being that you want, you want to be tied to these
29:29elite quarterbacks in as many ways as possible. We talked about it on an episode that'll air next week.
29:35Like, Hey, I want as many pieces of the Chargers offense as humanly possible.
29:39So lad and QJ could be that, that next interesting stack or lad and, you know, lad and Gadsden and, and QJ
29:47or lad and lad and Trey Harris and, and QJ like it.
29:51You want to be tied to these elite quarterbacks.
29:53Caleb Williams has become a force onto his, onto himself, but now we've got to see him deliver the ball to these guys and make them superstars too.
30:03Yeah. Yeah. I mean, this guy's got an interesting team.
30:06So, I mean, in general, because of where, who, who is kind of tied to this team and now you just got,
30:13you know, kind of a nice little bonus of Devonta Smith and AJ Brown getting broken up here, but like you're not
30:20in, and you got a good team. So you're not in a hurry to do anything crazy with this lineup.
30:27Right. No, you're not trying to like move off of these combinations for any, which way, or, or do, would you like
30:34to move off of one of the combinations? I don't think you, I don't think you have to, I don't think you need to.
30:42This is a championship caliber roster. Like this is, this is the definition contender for sure.
30:47Yeah. You don't, you don't have to do anything right now.
30:50It isn't super, or it's not, it doesn't look like it's premium.
30:54And he does have a very good set of tight ends.
30:58So not that I want to move off of Loveland, but I mean, maybe, maybe you move off of one of the
31:05three bears would, would be my only kind of recommendation, but I don't have to.
31:10And you got craft fan and pits and Laporta.
31:13Like if you wanted to sell Loveland, cause he's the bear you could get the most for, for whatever reason.
31:19I would be okay with that, but I don't feel like I have to.
31:24So hopefully we answered that question. Like you wanted it to.
31:28So I'm, I'm everybody good. Yeah. All right. Let's move on to the next question here.
31:33Let's remove that bad boy. All right. So for this, my buddies and I are creating a dynasty league where 2027 first
31:40and second round picks are in the startup draft along with rookies.
31:44Do you have any thoughts of how to approach this?
31:47How early should the one-on-one go? Does the value change?
31:50If you know, you're getting the one-on-five versus any mid first follow-up.
31:54The team I linked here feels stuck in the middle.
31:57Some great young pieces, some old vets, but probably not enough to contend, especially with the juggernauts in the league.
32:04I don't have my 27 first, but I have 2228 first.
32:08Any thoughts? So the first part of it is, is a theoretical question of, um, you know, how are you essentially handling picks in a startup draft?
32:16Is that, is that how I'm reading that correctly?
32:19Yeah. They're going to put the, so you'll have to do a placeholder or kickers.
32:24Yeah. So how early would you take that? The first, the one-on-one and 27 in that startup?
32:30And if I'm under, do it, that's the way I read it.
32:34Is that the way you read it? That's the way I'm interpreting this.
32:38Um, how early should the one-on-one go? Does the value change?
32:41If you know, you're getting the one-on-five versus any mid first, that's the only part that I'm not following.
32:48So I, I was at a startup like this two years ago, but it wasn't the future picks and current rookies.
32:54So this is kind of neat. Like basically what he's saying is you can draft Jeremiah love and you can draft the 27, one-on-one.
33:02So two years ago, uh, I drafted a whole bunch of second round picks after I didn't like the players anymore.
33:09We're talking, you know, 10, 11, 12, 13 draft round at 10th, 11, 12th round in the draft.
33:15I didn't really like where I was at. And I started drafting early second round picks and that really paid off for me.
33:22So it was fun. And you can't, obviously if you draft the second round pick, you know, you're not going to draft
33:30the two, two, the two, four, if the two, two is on the board.
33:34So like you're drafting the next available pick. If the one, one's gone and you want the next pick, you're drafting the
33:41one, two, and you're kind of a problem like chase, um, like, uh, your, your, she have said placeholder.
33:47You're going to draft kickers. You're going to put kickers in there to hold those players or whatever, hold those spots in the draft.
33:55Um, and, but it is fun because like the guys laying out here is like, it's not just a random pick.
34:02You know exactly what it is. You're drafting the two, two, and then four or five players might get drafted.
34:09And then somebody drafts the two, three, and then four or five players might get drafted.
34:14So, or it might be three or four picks in a row where it just goes, somebody's like, all right, I want that.
34:21So it, that does add a lot to the startup and makes it a lot of fun.
34:27And, um, I definitely recommend grabbing a couple of, um, draft picks along the way.
34:32Of course, the 27 first round picks couldn't be, you know, much more valuable these days.
34:37We want to get one or two of those for fun.
34:41But if I wouldn't go drafting them at the, it's too early when you're passing up on guys you already know are elite.
34:48You know, there's a lot with, with the money these college players are making.
34:53Now we don't know for sure that all these guys are coming out.
34:57We don't know for sure which one of them is going to blow their ACL at the end of the year and
35:04ruin their rookie year, et cetera, et cetera. I wouldn't go crazy with those first round picks in 2027.
35:10If you're up against, you know, uh, Brock Bowers, et cetera, you know, those types of, would you got good players take the good players?
35:18And then as it tears down, uh, assess. Yeah.
35:21Shev, you know, we, we kind of did this sort of right.
35:25Um, well, we put it in with 26 picks.
35:28Um, but if you put it in with 26 picks, that gives you a good placeholder for kind of where we're seeing,
35:35um, let's see, Jeremiah love go, I could bring switch to this tab real quick and I'll go back to answering.
35:42He wanted to talk about his team. Um, but we can see right here, you know, here's your early first.
35:49This is in the crowdsource rankings in the draft board formats.
35:52That's at two 11. Um, but I mean, you know, Jeremiah loves right here at two Oh three.
35:58And we kind of decided, Hey, one, one Oh one through one Oh four is, is probably right around where love is.
36:05Right. Um, so I think, you know, as early as where Jeremiah love is here at the two Oh three is where the one Oh one could go.
36:14Right. I think. And then throughout your second and third, you're good.
36:18That's where you're the rest of those, you know, one through four are going to at least go.
36:24And then now, cause I was reading it aloud and I wasn't processing it.
36:29He's saying is one Oh five worth more than a random mid first of not knowing of course, um, to know the number is definitely worth more.
36:37I think, um, yeah, so, so, you know, that, that to me kind of puts a little bit of a, a bow
36:45on that conversation is like, I think it's, you know, any, it could be as early as like the one 10 through
36:52the two Oh three turn for the one Oh one.
36:55Um, and you know, I would, this is like an interesting, you know, strategy for me because I've, I've been kind of
37:02in the, Hey, I, I don't necessarily play to win the first year or two.
37:07I kind of just collect assets for a minute and then go in a direction.
37:12And this, this, this puts one more cherry on top of that of like, Hey, now I can control, uh, the first
37:19couple of picks of the first round next year while collecting just a, Hey, I know I'm already in the toilet cause
37:26I've spent my high picks on first picks next year.
37:29And now I'm just collecting youth throughout. Um, so, you know, if, if you go that route, obviously it's not the way you have to go.
37:38You could certainly build a balanced team around that.
37:41Um, take taking picks early, but I mean, that's, that's kind of the route I would go.
37:46Like it. All right. The only thing is the one Oh one in 27 is going to be much more aggressive than
37:54it has been the last couple of years. Like you put 25 or 26 verse 27, Jeremiah Smith's going ahead of all those guys.
38:01And that's, you know, become at a good point.
38:04Assuming it's, it's kind of a dangerous assumption to assume that he's coming out, but unless Arthur Ben Laden, who's the offensive
38:11coordinator at, uh, now completely ruins Jeremiah Smith. Like he ruined everything else.
38:16Then, you know, he's going to be the one.
38:19That's a really, I said what I said, but that's a really good bow on it because let's say you got the
38:26one, one, the one, two, one, three. All right.
38:29If calamity happens last next year, you still between the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers, like you're going to have two or three guys that are awesome.
38:38Basically, she have just takes his argument, puts it in front of mine and backs mine up.
38:43Like if you once, if you're at the ones, if the one seven is the next first round pick for 2027 to
38:51get drafted, maybe you don't still have quite as much, you know, guarantee for what that value you think is like, yeah, dude.
38:58Yeah. The one, one Jeremiah Smith, a couple of running backs who knows if Manning comes out, you know what I mean?
39:05Like there's going to be, there's, it's going to be one, basically the top two or three picks is probably as insulated as it gets.
39:13Yeah. Yeah. Scratch. I missed your comments here when you were talking about the, uh, the consultant that we've got players on both teams.
39:21He was saying, um, your team is ready to roll.
39:24Don't F it up. Just chill and pounce on opportunity.
39:28That's essentially the way I'd be looking at that too.
39:31So you don't have to do anything, um, only sell for picks or consolidate up with, if, with stacks on a team,
39:38if you, if, if you want to kind of get out of one or two, and that's also a good, good way to, uh, put that.
39:47So just going back in time for a second there.
39:50Um, all right. Um, let's go over to his team here.
39:53He said, he's kind of middling. He wants to kind of know what to do here.
39:59So he's got Patrick Mahomes, Bo Nix, Jordan Love, Mac Jones, Will Howard.
40:03Nice room. Um, Jenti, Scadabo, Tootin, Rico, JK, Brian Robinson, Vidal, Isaiah Davis.
40:07Love that. Emmanuel Wilson. Mike, after all this Darian price hate this last week, somebody, somebody must have some drafts coming up.
40:14They're just slandering that man. Also, just in case you needed a reminder, I'm sure somebody could find the tweet of Kyron
40:21Williams returning kickoffs or punts and just ruining his value for a minute.
40:26So everyone relax with some off season nonsense here.
40:29Um, so, uh, Jalen Waddle, Wondell Robinson, Ricky Pierce.
40:31Also a little, little, little soft in the receiving room, sort of DJ more Jalen, at Mill and Tez, Kyle Williams, Zaccheaus and Malik Benson.
40:40And then Colson Loveland, but his tight end premium Chig Fryer, Muth and Noah Gray.
40:44He said he doesn't have any 27 first, but he does have two 28 first.
40:49Um, and he said, basically there's two, there's two really good teams in this, in this league.
40:55Um, right now. So we can kind of open up all these.
40:59So if let's just say there's juggernaut teams in there and I'll go through them as you're, as we're, as you guys are talking.
41:07Um, but what do we, what do we think that team is kind of up against?
41:12Well, I mean, uh, just the, the high end, like the high end production, you're, you got two bonafide QB ones in
41:19my homes above Knicks and Jordan loves kind of a wild card, but I just don't see, I don't see enough ceiling
41:26here and enough opportunity for you to, for him to take this home this year.
41:31That's, that's kind of, that's where I land. I try to figure out a way to get a 27 first back with selling something.
41:39I'm trying to decide what though. I don't, I mean, I, the issue here is there's, this is a, this is a
41:46pretty decent floor team, but we don't have, you don't have a real ceiling to meet.
41:51Yeah. Yeah. Right. You've, you've got, you've got good parts and pieces.
41:55Now looking at some of these other teams that they've, they've got across the board that, you know, none of them are killing it.
42:03Well, at least a couple that I've seen at every single position, like somebody has a deficiency or two in some spots.
42:10So I wouldn't go as far as juggernaut, but you have a Drake may and a Herbert and Hanna cook at Javante
42:17Williams, a Jamar chase and Nico, you know, Parker Washington helped.
42:21This guy got golden too. Then he's got Gadsden, but nothing behind him.
42:25And then the other guys got JT chase Brown, CMC ETN Chuba solid Jaden, Daniels and Lamar.
42:31That's a killer. Tet and AJ Brown. And then nobody else behind those two guys.
42:35And I think it's a start three wide receivers.
42:38It is. And then Jake Ferguson, which nothing wrong with Jake.
42:42Jake's always solid. But you know, I'm not, I'm not saying that's a, that's an absolute killer, but you know, a little, little better than yours.
42:50Josh Allen, CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, Kenneth Walker, Travion, Derek Henry, Amin Ra, Ibuka, Pickens, Smith Higgins, Tyler Warren and likely and Kelsey is solid.
42:59So he doesn't really have too many holes in the, in the scuba squad there.
43:03So big code, you got any thoughts on kind of where this roster should, should go.
43:09If you, if you took a crack at it, is this, you know, I don't think this isn't, this wouldn't by any
43:16shape or form be a teardown, but he doesn't have any 27 picks.
43:20So, I mean, she've already mentioned, Hey, how can we get a 27 first back?
43:25Any general thoughts here from you? I guess the hardest part is, you know, when you have such a toss up wide
43:32receiver room like that, you can get by with the running backs.
43:36You can, I mean, you, you have the best thing you got going on right here with this team, you know, other
43:43than Jente and Colson Loveland being anchors is the quarterbacks, you know, having that much volume, but you got my homes, Bo
43:50next Jordan love, and then soon to be starter next year, Mac Jones.
43:55Right. Right. So if I'm doing anything, I'm trying to move Bo Nix or Jordan love.
44:00Um, I think that I don't think the time's right to move Patrick homes, unless Casey's in your league or myself, that'll
44:07just pay up for the guaranteed next five years of stability.
44:10Um, so that's kind of where I would be.
44:13I'd just be leaning towards making a move, finding a Packers fan and, and cashing out on Jordan love or finding, um,
44:21a Broncos fan and making a move with Bo Nix potentially.
44:24I mean, he's, you know, not necessarily feeling like you're in any rush, but I mean, you could go take a, you
44:31know, a third round pick and, and buy scary Terry.
44:35If you wanted to try to make a push, but I, I, I wouldn't be trying to, I wouldn't, I wouldn't move
44:42any of those 28 firsts and I wouldn't go, go crazy with it.
44:46I would just kind of hang on, hang on for the ride.
44:50Yeah. This is, you know, you, you're, you know, Tootin could be somebody who turns into something awesome.
44:56Maybe Rico could be, you know, like you said, maybe you're not going to be quite in contending form.
45:02Um, Rico and JK Dobbins could be somebody that either helped you out and because there's some injuries on another team, um,
45:09or, you know, that you, they could be sold off for some equity coming, coming into next year.
45:15I mean, Matt Jones, unless you can get something good for Matt Jones, I'd hang on because he's going to be a
45:22lottery ticket as soon as he goes hits the open market somewhere else.
45:26Um, but you know, and then, and then Jalen Waddle would be somebody that if you're not going to compete this year
45:33and he's goes out and gets hot, he's somebody who you could maybe, you know, find yourself in position to be able
45:41to figure out how to get a 27 first ish for him.
45:45Uh, at some point in the season, when, if he's scoring, if he's blowing up and scoring points and bunches, right.
45:51Um, so, uh, I think you got some, some fun options here, DJ more, you know, I w I would just be
45:59kind of trying to figure out how to get, get some capital for these aging, older pieces and kind of just stay the course.
46:06Maybe you can figure out how to turn one of those 28s into a 27 with some of these guys, like, you
46:14know, parent DJ more up with it, with a 28 first.
46:17Maybe that doesn't make the most sense because he's old and you'd be trying to get a 27 pick back and something, um, of youth there.
46:26But those kinds of things of like, how can I turn a 28 into a 27?
46:31How can I collect some seconds and thirds throughout, uh, 27, which you still have your second and third.
46:37So you're okay there. Um, but this isn't anything that I would do dramatic moves with, right.
46:42You kind of just got to, I think personally, you hang out for a minute, um, and see kind of how you
46:50can formulate things with kind of these middle pieces that you have and see if they could gain some value on you.
46:57Yeah. Got a roster full of glue guys and prove it guys.
47:01And, and two and two studs with Loveland and Jenty and then again, some good quarterbacks.
47:06Yeah. I, I, I'm 95% in alignment with everything that you guys have said so far.
47:11My thing, the one thing that I would try to do is two or three weeks into the season, I'm trying to move JK Dobbins.
47:19I'm trying to move Rico Dowdle. So the youth movement needs to take over a quarter.
47:24I mean, at running back. Uh, and then if, if like you said it, Casey, if Jalen, Jalen Waddle gets off to
47:32a hot start and this team, but your team isn't doing what you, what you anticipated it doing or just giving you
47:39the signal that you need to try to push the chips in.
47:43That's a guy, him and DJ more guys that I'm trying to move pretty quickly.
47:48That's just, that's my thing. Yeah. Yeah. I'm with you.
47:51I'm with you. Any final thoughts, big co before we move on?
47:55Yeah. I think I've, I got a real quick one more pass.
47:59Sorry. My, I've been at mentally checked out for five minutes.
48:02My wife and I are trying to buy a car and it's happening right in a second.
48:08And I'm like, I'm busy. Um, so if you know anything about big co he's dying internally because this might be his
48:15favorite thing to do is buy a car. I know.
48:18I'm right here at the end when it's time to be like, I will give you my money, but it needs to
48:25be less money that I'm giving you. I don't get to have that conversation right now.
48:31That sucks. Um, so live in the, what, what did you have?
48:34We had the treasure hunt and when that had all like the cars and shit in it that you would get it
48:42like a convenience, like a, like a, we have at the wall.
48:46It was called the Carolina trader, the Carolina trader, the Carolina trader.
48:49It was 45 cents when I was growing up.
48:52Oh yeah. Well, you had to pay for it.
48:55Good in the trader. Yeah. I had to pay to get in that action.
49:00It was 45 cents course. Nate later on, they raised the price four or five times, but, uh, you could list for
49:07free, but after you, when you sold it, they wanted you to own the honor system.
49:12You had to pay him and I listed a bunch and I didn't sell that much.
49:17And I got on probation from the Carolina trader.
49:20And, uh, then I started listening, started listening under my grandmama's name, got her in trouble.
49:26Not that I wasn't paying when we sold, but I was listing everything and anything.
49:30And it was like, dude, would you let me, but this is all Carolina trader posting.
49:36You had to, you had to manually fill it out.
49:39Yeah. They're on the, in every Carolina trader, there was like four spots in the back and you had to write your
49:46item down, how much it was, the description and everything and write it out.
49:51And then you'd mail it in and it would come out in the next week's trader.
49:56And I'd have to buy like five Carolina traders to mail in my 20 options that I was trying to sell.
50:03Of course. And, uh, it was, it was an amazing time.
50:06Go bird says he's probably a Ford Explorer guy, not a Ford Explorer guy, but a big Ford guy.
50:12So you're a big Mustang guy. But, uh, at that, at this, this point in time, it was more like motor, like
50:20go-karts and lawnmowers and stuff like that. I, I, that was by the time I got bigger and better in the wash machines.
50:27Yeah. Whatever. Dude, I used to go to the flea market every Saturday when I got my license at 15 years old,
50:34I'd take three used push mowers to the flea market and sell them for 40 bucks a pop on Saturday morning.
50:41And I, like I used to have my middle school teachers give me their old push mowers that didn't work.
50:48And I'd get my dad to go pick them up and we'd take them home and I'd fix them up.
50:54It was a good time. It was a good time.
50:57Um, anyway, give us one more run on this roster here.
51:01The quick and dirty of that thing. Right. Chef.
51:04Um, if you want to turn the fun meter up, Oh, you know what?
51:08I love to rip the knob off, baby. I, I, I, I, you could probably get a 27 first for scat.
51:15You could probably take toot and you could probably mix Dobbins and toot and get a 27 first.
51:21So there's two 27 first for you right there.
51:24Um, if you send camp Scott, a boot to everybody in your league for a 27 first, somebody's going to take it.
51:31Of course, leave the best two teams out. Don't send it to them first because you don't want to get that quick
51:38auto except and get the one 12 from somebody.
51:41You want to go ahead and start with the other guys and send it to the worst six or seven guys first.
51:48Try that. So you get a, you get two 27 first by selling scataboo and tootin and, and probably mixing in Dobbins in there as needed.
51:57I'd probably wait till the season was rolling to sell doubt.
52:01I think, I think you can get a second round pick as soon as people see doubt on the field.
52:07Um, I'm with you. I think DJ Moore could easily come out looking hot.
52:12You could probably add a second round pick to DJ Moore and week three and maybe get another 27 first to him, build a package around DJ Moore.
52:21Cause he's going to look good. I think Jalen millions, Jalen McMillan is a player.
52:26Casey and I both really like him. DJ Moore, Rico Dowdle, JK Dobbins.
52:30Try to get a first. Yeah, exactly. And so now you got, you got two 28 first.
52:35We just laid out a way to get three 27 first.
52:39We haven't touched your quarterbacks yet. And you got Colson level and gente and Jalen Waddle still and Wondell and Ricky Pearson.
52:46Ricky Pearson could easily come out and halfway through the season, be like this dude's an every day, every week starter, you know?
52:54So that's a fun me. I like to turn that fun meter up sometimes.
52:58Have you, uh, I'm assuming that I'm asking this question to chef because there's no chance big co has ever seen this,
53:05but have you ever seen is Jada kiss Italian?
53:08No. Oh, they got him. They got him. They got him reading Toretto's part and, and fast and the furious.
53:15And he's like, you almost had me. You never have me.
53:18You never had your car, but it's Jada kiss reading it as Toretto.
53:23It's no, you got it. Yeah. You got it.
53:25You got it. You got it. You got to hit me with that one.
53:30Oh, man. I never knock on nobody. I never knock on nobody.
53:34Hey, fast and the furious has become one of my favorite franchises because my wife absolutely fucking hates it.
53:40All right. We got, we got one more question here.
53:43Um, actually, apparently it's a follow-up. Um, so follow up to provide context to my previous question about a start of the 27 draft picks.
53:51Um, we're looking at either a 12 team super flex start 10 or a 14 team, one QB tight end premium start nine, both three flexes.
54:00If it's one QB, I think it devalues the picks.
54:03What's your advice for a build in either format?
54:06Well, that's a really broad question there, but always 12 teams, super flex, tight end premium is going to be my choice.
54:13Um, here's, here's the way I look at that.
54:16And because of, of that, we're, I'm putting so much time into things and whatnot.
54:21I don't want like, once you throw the wrench into something now, it's like, it's off of the things that I'm, that
54:28I have the most, like, why, why would I want to be taken down my chances?
54:33Cause now we're just throwing things that I haven't been up on in the 14 one QB tight and pre not that
54:41it's, you know, obviously it's not that different, but it can kind of different.
54:45Um, I want to play, I want to play fairly vanilla things that I have the most, uh, knowledge about and have
54:52the most, uh, time spent doing so I can have the best opportunity to try to win something.
54:58Like I'm not, I'm not, and I, you know, I'm, I got 10, 15 leagues and if you've got a couple leagues
55:05and you just want to have some fun and that's cool.
55:09Um, but for me, I mean, competing, he said fairly vanilla, but what, like, this is just a couple of years ago.
55:16If you'd have told somebody that fairly vanilla was super flex tight end premium start for flexes.
55:22Dude, when we first started doing this podcast, we wouldn't even talk about super flex.
55:27We were like, nah, we're not doing it. It's one quarterback.
55:30Yeah. So I agree with what Casey said. Like I'm not, you know, I've been invited every year.
55:36I get invited to a points per carry league startup and I'm just like, I've, I'm good.
55:42I'm, I don't want anything to do with that.
55:44I will stay in my lane. I've, I can let the flex number, the starting roster, uh, flex number.
55:51I can let that fluctuate. I can do, I can let the amount of tight end premium fluctuate, but I want it
55:58to be super flex and I don't want any crazy wild scoring attributes.
56:02I'm good on all that. Um, there is a, um, there is a question up in the regular chat, Casey, a little bit up there.
56:10I'm going to, I'm going to get to him.
56:13I just, I went with this one because it was the follow-up and it was the last, uh, shit.
56:19My question. I'm holding it up here. Shev, do you, did you, did you have any input on a 12 or 14,
56:26one QB or, or like the advice for a build that that's a, you know, like I just said, I'm a, I'm
56:34a normally struggling kind of productive struggle kind of builder because I've found like I can just build the most value in,
56:41in a short time and just suck for a minute.
56:44And then year two, three, we start turning a corner and it's, it's easier to build the team that I want coming out of a startup.
56:52Generally you're, you should have a weak spot anyway.
56:55Um, and then you might be a little older or whatever.
56:59So I've just found I've had the most success with that.
57:03Shev, do you have any input on that before we move to the body of the question here?
57:08Yeah. Go and try to get as many valuable tight ends as humanly possible in this format.
57:14That's my, that's my bonafide, like receivers have a little bit more value if you got to start three of them, but I'm going to hoard tight ends.
57:23Like that's, that's kind of where I am, especially if it's anything, if it's anything more than like, is it more than 0.5 Titan premium?
57:31Like I, I heavily prioritize it. Like my first round picks can be a tight end.
57:36My second or my third round picks going to be a tight end.
57:41It's that becomes tight end premium. Those tight ends become valuable because the ones that score a lot of points dry up first.
57:48Yeah. Money ball and Nola says, would you join a super flex point per carry 1.75, 10 and premium 24 Debbie league IDP.
57:56And you can only set your lineup on a Tuesday at four 30.
58:00Oh, Rocco. Wow. Back in the day, you know, back in the day when, before Mary, when kids came along, Casey and
58:07I were trying to set up an IDP league.
58:10I was like, yeah, we want a defensive lineman and a linebacker in a safe.
58:15Yeah. I want a salary cap. I want it to be real.
58:19Damn it. Yeah. Dude. You guys that are like, you know, high school and college right now without actual, like, you know, liabilities in life.
58:27Like you guys don't know how great you have it with the current dynasty landscape and your options.
58:33You know? You know, and while I'm here, I'll ask another question.
58:37I've been in second and third in this league, went through a bit of a retool selling AJ Brown, DJ Moore, Ferguson,
58:44Dowdle, and turning Hertz and love into Mahomes and Purdy and separate deals acquiring the 103 Tyson and Kraft.
58:50I have plenty of 27 ammo to hunt for RB help as well.
58:54The question is, is who do I target? People are being stingy with their studs.
58:59Rightfully so. It's a shallow league. Uh, despite a satirical full rebuilder name, I see myself as a contender, uh, and would
59:06like to make a push for a chip this year.
59:10Thanks for the help. Uh, so we can dive into this real quick.
59:14Um, and then we'll get into some, some chef contract and some buckets.
59:18All right. So he was, oh, this is an eight man league.
59:22All right. It's weird. What was, what was his name?
59:25Jay Edwards. What was the, the team name? I thought that was, I thought that was your mic.
59:31She has his elf. He just wasn't speaking into it.
59:34Oh, there. No. Okay. So it says sleeper username.
59:37Jay Edwards. One, two, seven team name. Full rebuilder.
59:40Fuck my. Yeah. But I don't, I don't see that.
59:43Do you? My, my, my, my crazy here. No, uh, it's not there.
59:48It's just not there. Unless it's pulling up like a different, unless it's pulling up a different league for some reason.
59:54Who did he say he's on his team? He's got, um, Jordan Tyson, right?
59:59Sold AJ Brown. Yeah. He's got my homes party.
60:02So it's the nasty boys of summer. Okay. So did you just, buddy, did you just put a random name?
60:08He changed his name since then. Um, you are, you are really, you really fry me right now.
60:14Yeah. Um, all right. So jumping in here, uh, he's got my homes.
60:19He's got purdy. He's got Malik Willis, Ty Simpson, Mac Jones, percent fields.
60:23It's an eight man league. So take that for, um, just remember that.
60:27Uh, it's, it's pretty standard. It's two wide receivers, three flex, um, one QB PPR.
60:32Um, so 18, he's got Jamar chase, Drake, London, Nico Collins, Jordan Tyson, Makai Lemon, Jamison Williams, Antonio Williams, uh, Ted Hurston,
60:39Jalen Coker, Colson, Love and Tucker Kraft Gadsden likely helm.
60:42He's got two first round picks to second round picks in 27.
60:46He's got all his 28 thirds. It looks like he's got multiple thirds.
60:50He's got a lot of capital. Jeremiah love Josh Jacobs, Harvey Brooks, Benson, Caleb Johnson.
60:55So he needs, he was basically saying, where do I go for the running backs?
61:00Who should I be targeting? So he's got ammunition.
61:03He's got things to do. He's got ways to get them.
61:07So unfortunately I feel like in the, in the eight man league, like you, you basically are the problem with the eight
61:14man league is like your, your, your trade partners are fairly limited, right?
61:18Right. It just doesn't, it's not going to make sense for a lot of people to do a lot of the things
61:25that it would in a, in a, in a larger setting.
61:29Or if you had more starters. Right. You should campaign to make this a bigger starting league, um, with, with it being
61:36eight man, um, is what I would do. Push for start 12 or start 14 or something crazy.
61:42Like add as many flex. Cause you, you've got, that's where you could weaponize your, your advantage.
61:47But I mean, you know, ifs and nuts, candy, you know, candy, butts, whatever.
61:52So, you know, seven, seven here, you know, has good players, but it's an eight man league and eight here has some older players.
62:00Um, but you know, he's not filling out a whole lineup.
62:03That's, that's elite per se. Um, what about fraud alert?
62:07Have you made it there yet? It does say dynasty one QB, but it's showing that it's starts to, but there's no super, Oh, it's two QB.
62:15Okay. So it's just straight up to QB. Okay.
62:18That's what it says. Start to starting lineup, two quarterbacks.
62:22So you do have to start two quarterbacks. All right.
62:25Cool. Uh, but I knew ball. He's got JT, Derek Henry, Montgomery.
62:29Um, if, if either, if any of these guys are willing to trade their running backs, I think that's, that's your, you know, seven and eight here.
62:37Eight's got sevens got Gibbs, um, which I doubt he wants to trade him, but you have enough ammunition to try to
62:45just go fire off and get Jameer Gibbs. If you want, you got a bunch of firsts.
62:50You could, you could take a shot at him.
62:53That's, you know, well, how would John he's got Judkins.
62:56We've been a big candidate of him. He's got CMC.
63:00He might be a little older. Maybe you could pick him up.
63:04What are you guys seeing here? I want to, I want to attack this fraud alert guy and try to, well, no,
63:11older has a bunch of good running backs, but it says he's middling.
63:15Okay. So I haven't worked out the math in my head of what a first round pick would be worth to try
63:22to get a guy like, you're going to hear me say this on every episode.
63:27If you're trying to contend and win money this year, Christian McCaffrey is the guy.
63:32I like that. That's the guy I want. It's a guy that I'm actively targeting if I'm trying to win money this year.
63:39So holder of elves is, is kind of, that's what struck my eye.
63:44Yeah. I mean, I like you basically to me, this is just like, who's the partner that is willing to make a deal.
63:51And, and I might, you know, got to maybe overpay a little bit to get them.
63:56But like JT, somebody who I'd be fine with targeting.
64:00You guys mentioned CFC. Like this team right here has got at least a nice stable of running backs.
64:06They're not quite there in the wide receiver department.
64:09They're definitely deficient in the, you know, Jake Ferguson's fine, but in an eight man league, you know, that's a, that's a
64:16tough, tough one there, but he's got fine quarterbacks.
64:19Um, and he doesn't have his 20 C doesn't have any 27 picks.
64:23So this isn't a, you know, here holder of elves, like you were saying, Shev, like he's somebody who you could target
64:30trying to give away some picks too. Right. Yeah.
64:33I mean, that's, that's the, that's where, that's, that's my initial lean is like, Hey, we overpay.
64:39I mean, this dude's probably not going to give you Gibbs, but you can, you, the, the grip on Judkins is loose
64:46enough to where it's worth a shot and you've got a little more long-term viability.
64:51But if you just want to try to win money this year, we're going to, we're going to just, we're going to
64:58go try to get Christian McCaffrey and call it a day.
65:01Big go. Any other thoughts before we wrap up the question portion, at least for now, can you show his team?
65:08Can you scroll down once one team there? I've been just frantically looking for this question to pull it up.
65:15I've clicked on six questions. So I've looked, I'm using your screen.
65:19So he's the Josh, Josh Jacobs guy. He's the nasty boys of summer.
65:23Is that what we confirmed? Right. Jordan Tyson, Mahomes and Purdy.
65:26Um, he's got Jacobs and Jeremiah love RJ Harvey Brooks.
65:30So, you know, he, he could, he could use an upgrade at, um, and he's got really good tight ends here.
65:37So you could be using a tight end, um, to go, to go after this, um, to go after one of these, um, running backs here.
65:45Uh, you've got some first, uh, you've got some first, you got some ammunition, you've got holder of L's.
65:51His tight end situation is Ferguson. And you've got, you've got upgrades to Ferguson here.
65:56As far as, you know, likely in Loveland, um, or, or maybe even a Rondé Gadsden, um, potentially long-term.
66:02Um, so I like, I like the idea of taking like a, um, using the Rondé Gadsden hype because with Colson and
66:09look with, with Loveland and craft, like you're completely set.
66:13And then likely is the magnificent, um, sitting on the bench.
66:16I don't really have to play, but if it hits, it's could hit ridiculously hard.
66:21And you got all those first round picks. Like you said, I would just, you know, Josh Jacobs right now, if Josh
66:28Jacobs was, had no problems, then you go into week one with no problems.
66:33You know, you're, you're starting lineup is as good as anybody's.
66:36Um, and of course you can't use Josh Jacobs to tear up right now because nobody's going to give you anything for him.
66:44And maybe you don't, maybe he just rides with your, you know, on your team.
66:49For a little bit, but I would probably even with Christian, like chefs, chefs, right.
66:54It's Christian McCaffrey, but I would probably with this quality of team, I'd probably be in week three before it was Christian
67:01McCaffrey or Derek Henry, you know, somebody like that.
67:04Yeah. Just go and grab or, or because you got so many ammunition, so much ammunition.
67:09Now you can trade three for one and you come out with B.
67:13John, you know? Um, but I w I would hang on.
67:17I would hang on until week three before I did anything crazy.
67:21And you said, I mean, it is a, it is a one start one quarterback, right?
67:26Well, it's, it's, it's two quarterbacks. It's not super flex.
67:29So, okay. Start two quarterbacks. It says one QB in the thing, but it does.
67:34The starting lineup says two quarterbacks and two quarterbacks are highlighted.
67:38And he mentioned making a trade for my homes and, and party.
67:42So that would make sense. So, um, but you know, trying to get Gibbs is never a bad idea.
67:48If that guy will let him go. Right. Um, and you can kind of afford it.
67:53You got a good, you got a tight end.
67:56You could give him, you got some picks you could give them.
68:00Um, and he's young enough that you could, you know, survive, uh, for, for a long period of time with that.
68:07I don't know if he's going, but again, to me, this is just the problem with eight man is always like, you
68:14have to have the partner that's willing to do something.
68:17And with eight guys and the flux of the league going back and forth, there's a lot of people in here of
68:24like, you know, anything could go wrong. And then you're not a contender anymore or anything can go right.
68:30And you're a contender. Absolutely. Of course. I mean, there's, there's, there's a bunch of luck in anything.
68:36An eight man, I think is, you know, unless, unless somebody has just got an absolute juggernaut.
68:42I mean, for the most part, it's, it's, you know, biggest crap shoot as anything.
68:47Yeah. But you just want as many high end assets as possible.
68:51Send, send your latest first round pick for Judkins after, you know, try to try to get Gibbs, send the first round
68:58pick and, and some, and, uh, Gadsden and, you know, another player and try to get Gibbs.
69:03Hold on real, real quick. What's the fun meter though?
69:06What's turning the fun meter up? Yeah. We got to turn.
69:10I want to hear the fun meter on an eight man, because this shit's going to get weird.
69:16Not like it. Well, like, so you got Loveland and craft, so you could, I love, I don't, I really don't want to split those guys up.
69:25If I'm, if I, you could trade Loveland to somebody and probably get almost anything.
69:30So, and because craft is a good fallback and you got, uh, I love the idea of how the value on likely right now is so good.
69:38You can't trade him because you're not going to get what he is, what his potential carries.
69:44I know potential is a dangerous word, but what potentially could go on with likely right now, he literally turned down money, more money from the red.
69:53He told his agent, like, I don't want the most money you can get me.
69:58I want the most targets you can get me.
70:00So his agent went out into free agency, Isaiah likely agent goes out looking for the most weekly targets that he could
70:08get out of a team, not the most guaranteed money.
70:11And I don't know how you could be more fired up about that.
70:15Right. So like, I don't know that the giants are going to give him all that many targets, but they must've told
70:22him they were because he wouldn't assign with them.
70:25Right. And so, and he signed quickly. And I mean, it happened like that.
70:30There was targets to be given to Isaiah likely.
70:33So I love what Isaiah likely is going on right now.
70:36And then, you know, he had the, um, the guy from the charters Gadsden.
70:41So like between, if you were, you could package up, uh, Loveland and Gadsden and go make some crazy moves and still
70:48have craft and likely or by, or, or get craft and keep Loveland.
70:52I prefer to keep Loveland and craft and just try to focus on Gadsden.
70:57But in an 18, like you said, Chev, if you're going to turn the fun meter up, you can't get anything if you ain't given it, you know?
71:06But with the three first round picks, you could go attack and you could go get B.
71:11John. If you want to, you can get any player on the board because you have three gives is gives is potentially
71:19available on a team that isn't ready to go.
71:22Um, it doesn't have any first round picks. Yeah.
71:24You probably were, you're a lot better. You're probably getting Gibbs.
71:28The road to B. John goes through Gibbs. You probably buy Gibbs from a team who quote unquote, can't use him right necessarily.
71:36Cause they're not really ready. And then you can add something to Gibbs to get B.
71:41John. If you can give the B. John guy Gibbs, you can get B.
71:45John. If you don't have Gibbs or Jeremiah love or Gente.
71:49He does have love, but you, right. You know what I mean?
71:53Like you, you can, that's, that's the road to B.
71:56John is getting Gibbs first and then go into the B.
72:00John guy. Cause it's theoretically not that far away.
72:03Whoa. Whoa. What do you think about this? Why don't we, why don't, if you're trying to, if the, if the goal
72:10is to get one of the hammers, one of the, one of the guys, you know, we two first in love, just
72:17send two first in love for B. John. That would be the quote unquote overpay.
72:22And I'm sure he would take that. I mean, just, just, just send a first in love for, yeah.
72:28Just said one of them first. Yeah. Send one first, but be willing to do.
72:33You guys are turning the meter up. I told you, I want to get weird.
72:38Your latest, your latest first. And then Gadsden. So you get Jeremiah love, you get my, you get a 20, 27 first.
72:45I've tried to pick the latest one. Apparently you'll you.
72:48If he has his, you send yours and then you send Gadsden as well.
72:53Yeah. I'm trying to, I just need to figure out how to just get Gibbs and not give up love.
72:59That's what I'm doing. So there was one, there was one more question that I was talking about on the live stream.
73:06I got it. Okay. Okay. All right. We got one more question here in high stakes drafts rank.
73:12These five pairs, London and pits. Shout out to fantasy meatball, London and pits, Evans and Pierce.
73:18All I'm going to assume this is dynasty. Um, I don't know.
73:22Um, and high stakes drafts, right? These five pairs, London and pits, the chat, Evans and Pierce.
73:27All Collins and Higgins, lad and QJ Casey and Boston.
73:30Thanks fellas. All right. So we're going to assume it's dynasty.
73:34Cause that's usually what we're talking about. Right. Yeah.
73:37Um, I don't know if it's tight end premium.
73:40So those would be questions that maybe we need to have answered.
73:44Um, I'm meatballs in here somewhere. Yeah. He has been in here.
73:48Let's assume it's tight end premium and let's assume it's dynasty.
73:51Yeah. I, yeah. I think London and pits would be number one.
73:55If it is tight end premium. Right. Yeah. Yeah.
73:58Uh, yeah. London and pits. I mean, Evans and Pierce all for one year could be the second answer, but Evans being older is, is hard to say.
74:07Um, I'd say Collins and Higgins are probably my next two.
74:11Yes. Then lad and QJ and then Casey and Boston.
74:14Yeah. Evans and Pierce all is going to be last for me.
74:18Evans and Pierce. So yeah, probably would be last dynasty wise.
74:22Yeah. See, I've, the reason I was making, obviously he gave us some money to talk about this.
74:27I want to make sure we caught it, but it's, I was wondering if it was dynasty or redraft, but the part
74:35about that, it's like, well, Evans and Pierce all just being in here is, is a, is a, a funky cog in the wheel.
74:42Like where do the quarterbacks come into play? You know, because I like if, if we rank these and now you're like
74:50chasing like Evans and Pierce all, you don't have to.
74:53And take one of the, Pierce all shows up in the 10th round.
74:57Now ninth round, you know, London is a second round pick, you know?
75:01So like the ranking of these is, is tough.
75:04And then like, so like Collins and Higgins, I love both of those guys, but right.
75:09The second what's going on with the quarterback play, you know?
75:13So that's, I mean, yes, it's by far London and pits for dynasty.
75:17And I love Nico and Jaden Higgins, you know, I just like, I wasn't sure exactly where we're going with this.
75:24And I was hoping that fantasy meatballs still in the chat to kind of give us a little bit more heads up.
75:31Um, cause the quarterback play. Yeah. If you're talking quarterback play, then maybe, maybe it could be lad and QJ is as two.
75:39Yeah. I've like, I think Higgins and Collins are two lad.
75:42It's three. Boston's four and Pierce all's five. Yeah.
75:45I can get down with, I mean, Casey and Casey and Boston are fun, but I, right now you just got to shelf those guys.
75:53It's, I mean, obviously week one, anything can happen, but you just got to shelf those guys right in the second.
76:00And neither one of them in a startup draft are really all that expensive and rookie draft.
76:06They're both first round picks. If so, my, if it's based on the quarterback play, then I don't see how there's an
76:13answer other than lad and QJ being number one.
76:16Well, even if it's, I mean, I don't want to say based off a quarterback play.
76:21That was just where we, I don't know why it matters to him.
76:25Why these, these were in, you know, he's, he said, sorry, Casey, it's the FFPC tournament, which is like that.
76:32So now we're talking redraft, right? Got to be right.
76:35Fantasy. You want to hit us up and tell us he's, he's texting us right now, guys.
76:41He says half, half tight end premium FFPC tournament.
76:43It sounds like a redraft to me. And he says, all right.
76:47So that makes a lot more sense because like, again, still, even in redraft, like Evans and Pierce are way down the
76:55list and London and pits are higher up on the list.
76:58So I'm looking, instead of looking for those doubles in a region and what I was looking at this 30 minutes ago,
77:05when he posted, I was like, this has got to be a redraft question.
77:10Like instead of London and like London and Caleb Williams is the answer, you know, that you're, I'm not necessarily in redraft.
77:17Right. Like because, because the quarterback, I was doing a, a, a best ball and like Caleb Williams is fifth or sixth
77:24round in redraft, which is still more than I want to spend.
77:28But I did take London in the second round, which is what I was like, all right, I got London.
77:35I like Caleb Williams. And if I take Caleb Williams, now I don't have to dress quarterback until like the very end.
77:42And I can go after Malik Willis and I'm happy.
77:45Right. So like, it wasn't like, I don't want to take fifth round, sixth round, you know, Caleb Williams.
77:51Really? He's I'm more, that's more of a dynasty play for me, but I think this, this year would be just fine
77:58and awesome if you get a stack there. So that's kind of where I was like, all right.
78:04What'd you, what'd you think, Shevin, in redraft here?
78:07Cause I definitely, my order switches then for sure.
78:10Oh yeah. I mean, 0.7, 0.5 tight end premium redraft it's London and pits.
78:15And then I'd go lad and QJ. The Casey in Boston probably is at the bottom.
78:20Yeah. For redraft. I think so. They gotta be just definitely.
78:23We go back to quarterback play. And you don't want two of those guys on the redraft.
78:29Like you don't have enough roster spots. You don't want eat.
78:32You don't want two Brown wide receivers on your redraft team this year.
78:37Yeah. I don't, yeah. I don't, I don't love, I don't love the, the Casey in Boston wouldn't be a serious consideration for me and redraft.
78:45I mean, is, I don't, you know, if, if we, I think Pierce all and Evans might be, might be, it's probably, might be two or three redraft.
78:54It's Pierce all and Evans should be two to me or three close.
78:59Right. Because it's just the, it's just, okay. So how much of a difference is there between healthy Mike Evans isn't going
79:06to be that cheap and redraft Evans is going to be pretty, he's probably going to be a fifth round pick fifth or a sixth round pick.
79:14I can't wait till we get the redraft side on the website.
79:18That's good. Redraft side coming soon. Wow. But yeah, I'd, I'd go.
79:22It's closer than the experts think on to, to quote the great league course on, on, on Nico Collins and, and yeah,
79:29I view Evans and Pierce called Nico and Collins really, really tight there.
79:34Just kind of the, the outcome of Higgins and Pierce all both, I think is, can be similar here.
79:40And I give, I give the edge to Pierce all just off the, off the, you know, off the QB play.
79:47Yeah. At least what we went in the eighth round of a non-premium draft.
79:51So not that expensive of which, of what are you, what, what site are you using there?
79:57That's just a, um, a fast draft that I was a 10 man.
80:01Oh, okay. Fair enough. So that would, that would raise them up.
80:05What? At least two and a half rounds. Yeah.
80:08I feel like best balls, um, underdog Evans might be like fifth or sixth round.
80:13Uh, anyway, um, and he, we've got a final pairing here.
80:16I mean, yeah. London pits, like Evans, Pierce all Collins Higgins or London pits, lad QJ.
80:22Evans, Evans, Pierce all Collins Higgins. I see Boston.
80:24Big co I could get down with that. What he said.
80:28I just, I'm not the, the only one in here that has a tight end is the London and pits.
80:35You know, I I'm not in redraft one seat.
80:37Like I, I said earlier, like I'm not changing my dynasty outlook.
80:41Most likely because the team has, if I had two wide receivers are on the same team or not.
80:48If I like the guys, I like the guys, but like in redraft in one season, like, especially, you know, I guess,
80:55you know, I've only thing I've been doing is the fast, small, fast draft stuff has been 10 man.
81:01So my don't really have my head wrapped around this.
81:04Like I could have, like Casey just pointed out, didn't even realize it was 10 man.
81:09That's how much I'm into it. It's like, you know, like Evans, Evans and, and best ball sounds amazing.
81:16Mike Evans is Mike Evans turned down more money to go from the books to go to a winner.
81:22And like, you know, like it's a three 50 live draft.
81:25So the Niners are going to throw that man to ball.
81:29Mike Evans is going to get it. Absolutely. Mike Evans is about to crush.
81:33He's again, he's got again, the white house. I met the president of the United States again.
81:39All right. So yeah, I, I lad and QJ is the wild card here, man.
81:44Like we, we were just giving QJ his flowers and like, if QJ really steps up in this offense, then lad and QJ are two.
81:52And QJ, I think is the best compliment with the most upside of, or at least the most upside we've seen, right.
81:59That becomes more consistent. Then QJ, QJ has been on my, all, all my two, three mock drafts in the, in the,
82:06in the fast draft in lab McConkey. He hasn't even been there for me to draft.
82:12I don't know if it's where I'm in or like, he, he hasn't been in my almost drafted selection yet, but QJ went on all my teams.
82:20Um, yeah. My final answer is exactly how he has it written.
82:24I'm going London pits, Evans, Pierce, all Collins Higgins, lad QJ, Casey Boston with, with potentially swapping lad and QJ to the Collins and Higgins.
82:32But I think Collins is about the, just the upside of what Collins brings to ladder QJ.
82:38I think just trumps it like Collins could be a top five player.
82:42And lad probably could, but if QJ is good, then lad's probably not as good as right.
82:48We think, I think Higgins could still be good enough with Collins being like a top five, eight receiver in the league.
82:55And, you know, lad could certainly get there, but I know that Collins Evans and London have the, have, have seen that.
83:02Um, right. Right. And with Evans, it's, it's, it's efficiency.
83:05Let's see. It's 70 receptions and 13 touchdowns. And that's the one thing that we know Brock party is good at doing.
83:12And the Niners are good at doing this run efficiency and putting up numbers.
83:17Um, all right. Yeah. Need to cut three. This one just came in.
83:21Mike six, seven, two, or Mike six, two, seven, one, zero, zero.
83:25Need to cut three super flex set in premium or package trade offer on the table.
83:30Give Brees, um, Casey gets Hampton early 27 second leaning.
83:34No, but hate to cut Samson and right handcuffs, give Brees and Concepcion and get Hampton and a 27 early second.
83:40Who does he need to cut? Need to cut people make you do some wild things.
83:46It really will. Uh, it, it'll, it, it really will.
83:49I don't have a problem with the trade. But if you, if you're, it, it doesn't say if it's FFPC or not,
83:56the, the, the question just came in. So if you're like, how tight are these bench spots?
84:02Because Casey Concepcion could easily be a two year roster clogger.
84:05I love him in dynasty, but we can't, you can't tell me that anybody on the Brown, like they got Judkins and
84:12they got fan in and they don't have a quarterback.
84:16So, you know, maybe I got a half of one.
84:19Um, you know, it depends on how many, how tight are these roster spots?
84:23Because I don't want to get, I'm not in, I'm not in the trade and Brees business.
84:29I'm not in the trade and beat tall business, but the Marion Hampton is got all of the McDaniels.
84:35Right. Uh, I'm like, like the, it's Brees is Brees, but like the charters office versus what we're hoping for the jets might Trump that.
84:43Right. And I think just out of the early 27 second is nice.
84:47That that's probably about what Casey would be worth in next year's draft.
84:52Potentially I'm, I'm maybe devaluing him a little too much there.
84:55Um, at least it's semi-close and Hampton's worth way more than Brees at this point.
85:00And the difference between Hampton and Brees right now, and that 27 and Casey more than makes up the difference, I think.
85:07And like you could go do something else with Hampton if you wanted to, it's not always about a value play when
85:14you're trying to win money, but I think Hampton and Brees probably have similar outcomes.
85:19Um, if everything goes well for Brees and everything goes well for Hampton, I think they're probably similar outcomes of what you get in Hampton's a little younger.
85:28So, um, I would just, he's got to cut right Sampson cousins or AD Mitchell basically.
85:34So, um, so I like the, I'll take the Hampton in the second one in that one.
85:39And again, not in the Brees trading business. We've been loving for a long time.
85:44And why not, you know, leave that trade on the table and send them one with, and you also get like a
85:51third or fourth next year and say, Hey man, I just gave a first round pick for Casey.
85:57He's the kicker in the deal here. And I just gave a first for him.
86:02So you're giving me a two and I gave a one.
86:06Let me try to get a three or a four back.
86:09And, but if you need to take the deal, take it.
86:13Yeah. She have any thoughts. No, I'm good. I'm good.
86:16You guys pretty, pretty well, pretty well covered it there.
86:19All right. Uh, let me jump in here. We got, we've been teamed up with prize picks.
86:25Prize picks is America's number one sports app. It's really easy to use.
86:29You simply just pick more or less on a few player stats and lock in your lineup.
86:35Prize picks is available in most States, but not limited to California, Texas, and Florida and beautiful, sunny Charleston, South Carolina.
86:41It is more than available here. And we've been having a blast using it again, super simple, easy to use.
86:48Download the app now and a promo code HMA and new users get 50 new users get $50 in lineups instantly when you play your first $5 lineup.
86:57Uh, now we got, uh, Mexico and Ecuador going right now.
87:01So we got a little world cup play, a little four flex play, uh, and forgive me right now because I am going to botch some names.
87:09I'm very sorry. Um, but, uh, what we're looking at here is we've, we've played shots on goal, uh, on this one.
87:17There's all sorts of different things you could play.
87:19You could play crosses, goalie stops, dribbles, passes, completed shots, shots on goals, assists, all sorts of fun stuff.
87:26Um, but our lineup tonight, we got an all Mexico and Ecuador lineup and I've played the top shooters for, uh, both teams.
87:33I've played in or Valencia for Ecuador to have more than 1.5 shots.
87:37I've played, uh, Gonzalo Plata for more than two shots for Ecuador.
87:41I've played, um, Julian. Julian. Quinlanos for Mexico over more, more, sorry, more than one and a half shots.
87:47And Raul Jimenez. I got that one for sure.
87:50Um, more than 1.5 shots, um, for this game and Jimenez, we just need one more shot from him.
87:57And we're, we're, we're green on that one. So, um, games kicked off.
88:01We're excited again, download the app promo code HMA new users get $50 and, uh, lineups instantly when you play your first
88:08$5 lineup, do it and get in on some world cup action before it's over.
88:13Cause it's been a lot of fun. All right.
88:16Back to the show. Shev, you got any contract stuff for us before we talk about buckets?
88:21Do I, maybe we might not even get into buckets tonight.
88:25Cause we've been, we've been good time. It has been super active.
88:29This has been, this has been, we were saying that we wanted to do this, but then the chat got super active.
88:36So there's basically 40, 42 contract players of note.
88:39We're not going to go through all 42, but like just guys that you want to try to get a hold of
88:46or try to get ahead of, cause they could be in for a big season.
88:51If you're a contender, obviously we know about chase Brown.
88:54Well, we'll go position by position. Really? The only two quarterbacks of note or CJ Stroud, Bryce.
89:00I'm not going to include Deshaun Watson in this cause he was on here for some reason, because I guess after this
89:07year, this is the first year after this year, that's the first year that won't have a massive amount of dead money
89:14to try to get rid of him. And I'm pretty sure that's what they're going to do.
89:20Uh, and then the guys that we need to be stashing, the guys that, you know, the big co slash Casey special
89:27of, you know, just stashing second string quarterbacks, will Levis, Aiden O'Connell, Anthony Richardson.
89:31Like let's get those guys on, let's get those guys on the back end.
89:36A rich, a rich. And, uh, who, who was the other one?
89:40Will Levis. Will Levis. Aiden O'Connell. O'Connell. I don't, I don't know how, how excited I am about him, but.
89:46I mean, he's shown capable, capable flashes of being an NFL quarterback.
89:50Yeah. It's not great, but it was also a very dysfunctional environment.
89:54They're asking him to play in. Um, real quick.
89:57Howler won. He said, how do you get a roster reviewed?
90:01You can throw it in the trade questions or the, uh, cues on the, uh, on the website there, but trade roster
90:08real roster reviews and the option to have them reviewed by us and on stream with the automated ticket here will be
90:15up, um, within a few days available on the site here.
90:18Uh, we were, we're kind of reworking a few things right before the end of that comes out.
90:24We were scheduled to drop them tomorrow. They may drop tomorrow.
90:28They may drop in a day or two. We're, we're, we're sorry about that.
90:32But, uh, the, uh, our main website guy had a appendectomy, uh, Jesus a week or two ago.
90:38So, um, but yeah, anyway, sorry, chef. Oh, you're good.
90:42You're good. But yeah, going back to it, just, I mean, so that pretty much like will Levis, Aidan O'Connell, Anthony Richardson
90:49are the guys that are going to be impending free agents.
90:52I don't know. I mean, they're probably all going to sound like, you know, backup prove it deals.
90:58And then maybe Hey, rich is switching to tight end.
91:01That's pretty funny. And then, you know, we move on to the running backs.
91:06The, the exciting part here. Yeah. Obviously you've got Gibbs.
91:09We talked about chase Brown. We know the, we know the Bengals are cheap.
91:14So let me ask you guys a question. I don't want to spark a massive discussion, but this chase Brown lose a ton of value.
91:22If he goes somewhere where he gets the bag, but it's not the Bengals environment.
91:27I don't know if ton is the right word, but I don't think you leave Joe Burrow and his ability to get the ball checked down to you.
91:36And not all of them are even checked downs.
91:39He called 80 balls last year. You know, um, he's played well when Joe Burrow was hurt, but he obviously plays better
91:46when Joe Burrow is in there and making the defense back up and there, it just gives space.
91:52Um, at this invite we've seen the last two years, we've seen a lot more teams keep their running backs, you know?
91:59Um, so like if Joe Burrow's won't set man to stay that man staying now, I mean, yeah, you know, uh, that
92:06I don't know if chase Brown is anywhere close to the dolphins payday chain, a lot of money, but like there's been
92:13a couple of running backs that just stayed where they were at, got paid.
92:18And there's been a handful of running backs that really got solid, solid amount of cash to stick around.
92:24Uh, we'll see how I think the Bengals need Bengals got a lot more problems and worried about what they're going to do with chase Brown right now.
92:33If it, if they can't get themselves together, Burrow's already, you know, putting the tea leaves out there that he don't want to be there.
92:41So I don't, you know, kind of guessing on a chase Brown situation past his contract is really maybe fools.
92:48They earned right this second, just because the Bengals and if they can't make Joe Burrow happy, them boys are going back
92:55to the draft, looking for a quarterback. Yeah. You know, they got bigger problems than chase Brown being to being good enough to earn money.
93:03Yeah. I think, I think chase Brown stayed everybody that they wanted on offenses stayed.
93:08Yeah. So, but yeah, I think, I think he would probably, I think, well, generally here's how I would answer that question.
93:15The public hates chase Brown and they've been waiting for him.
93:19So if he moves somewhere where it's not like another elite quarterback, yes, his value is going to drop because people have just been preying on his downfall.
93:28I mean, just, you know, uh, so I think there would be some value drop on any, you know, be what 27 when he signs the next contract.
93:37So yeah, probably some, I would say so. You want to know who you want to know who doesn't like do, who does not hate chase Brown.
93:46Madden ratings. Why would they? There's, there's a, his individual stats, like his overall, there's a bunch of, there's, there's a handful
93:53of running backs and especially like the older ones that we dismiss in dynasty that are way over chase Brown.
93:59But you go click on chase Brown and Madden and look at his ratings and be like, Oh, the guys that do
94:07this for every player in the league and have been doing it for 20 years.
94:12They respect what chase Brown bringing out there every Sunday.
94:15Of course they do. All right. Real quick. And before we hop back into Shev Warren or fanning 0.5 tight end premium
94:22dynasty startup, uh, Warren for me, but it's not a huge gap.
94:26I just prefer the situation for Warren more now.
94:29If you know, currently. Yeah. Warren pretty easily. Yeah.
94:32Yeah. I'm taking more first, but again, Casey fan does not have an N at a G at the end of his
94:39name fan and fan and fanning fanning. There's no G whatever.
94:42I also say across the street, there's no T in there either, but Hey, you know, you don't pronounce the T as
94:50hard as I've heard people pronounce it. All right.
94:53She has, you got any more? Oh yeah. Yeah.
94:55Yeah. So that's kind of the big, the running back.
94:59That's a big three. Jamar chase B or Jameer Gibbs, B John Robinson and chase Brown.
95:04But then you come in with the Zach Charbonnays Casey, you and Jeremiah did the, uh, did the episode on, on bylaws or stashes.
95:12I believe where we talked about Ty J Spears tank Bixby.
95:15Like there's some names here. Kendra Miller. Yeah. Kendra was on there.
95:19Get out of here. Brother. Just needs a, just needs a chance.
95:23We just need, we just need a chance. We just need a chance.
95:27Number one and miss tackles forced. Her attempt watching him play football makes you believe that he's good, dude.
95:34He just needs to be healthy. I'm on that.
95:36His body is good. Yeah. His body hates him playing football and Dennis Allen hated him playing football even more.
95:43Oh, absolutely. Oh, but yeah, that's pretty much, that's pretty much it.
95:47I mean, I threw Isaiah Pacheco on here cause it's a one year.
95:51Yeah. Yeah. And then I guess, uh, I got a stash tweet coming out maybe tomorrow.
95:56That's got all these guys on there. Big dog.
95:59Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then we move on to the wide receiver, wide receiver position where Jordan Addison.
96:05I mean, obviously you got the fifth year option with some of these guys and I'll make sure that I, I make
96:12note of that, but Jordan Addison contract year, they exercised his fifth year option.
96:17Uh, the booty warrior, Kasha on booty. He's going to be out of, he's I'm pretty sure he's going to be out of new England after this year.
96:26Uh, AJ Brown's up for a new deal because he doesn't have any guaranteed money after this year, or he has like
96:33a $32 million, uh, team, uh, salary cap hit.
96:36So they're probably going to restructure that or try to redo something.
96:40Tank Dell, Demario Davis, Josh downs. This is a wide receiver.
96:44Free pop. It's thick. Yeah. Why? Especially. Yeah. Let's go.
96:47Yeah. Josh downs. Zay flowers. Fifth year option. Obviously.
96:50It's already. It's Josh. He's a man. Both of those guys are getting paid and staying at their team.
96:56Um, Quentin Johnston, fifth year option. Uh, Quentin Johnston somewhere else, right?
97:00He's on the move. I told you, did we, did we talk about this on like on the stream where there's a,
97:07there's an aggressive vision where George Pickens plays his way out of.
97:11Oh yeah. Yeah. Dallas. Yeah. All that'd be all.
97:14That'd be sick. QJ goes back to Dallas. Yeah.
97:17I mean, where he's from the central Texas area, but, uh, Marvin Mims, obviously the high end guys, Puka Nakua and Rasheed
97:24Rice, which I looked on spot track. So Puka Nakua is projected for four years, 160 million.
97:29Guess what? Rasheed Rice's market value contract is on spot track.
97:33Four for 80. One year. Prove it. Three for 52.
97:36Yeah. Kansas city's taking that all day. If they can get it.
97:40I'm fully guaranteed. So, so that you can't fully guarantee it.
97:44Even for that, he's fucking, there's no chance. There's going to be about 7 million of that.
97:49That's going to be fully guaranteed. And then the rest is going to be tied to incentives that are like roster, but active roster bonuses.
97:57Are you suspended? We're not fucking paying you. You have to have a governor on all of your cars.
98:0470 is the max. This comes with a promise that you're going to get at least $300,000 to Uber to and from practices and games.
98:12Yeah. And your, your boy can't Uber you. All right.
98:15It's got to be an actual Uber driver. Yeah.
98:18He can't sign up for Uber and Uber you either.
98:21Like that's not. And then, so then we got, again, it's, this is a deep list.
98:26Uh, lower end guys, Cedric Tillman, Trey Tucker, my boy, Parker Washington, Dontavian Wicks and Michael Wilson.
98:32Oh, it is Parker Washington. That's interesting. Parker Washington's an interesting one.
98:36Yeah. That's the, that's the one that like, oh, like he's projected right now to get one more year and $8 million more than, than Rashid Rice.
98:45That's crazy. That's nuts. Yeah. That's a, that's a fun, that's a fun receiver class for sure.
98:50Yeah. And then for some reason it didn't copy my tight end.
98:54But cause it's, that's a really fun list. Awesome.
98:57All right. Well, we'll, we'll wrap up with the tight ends after, after Shev gets back, we're going to probably forego some buckets this, this go around.
99:06It's getting late over here. Oh, it's just, okay.
99:09So it's, it's pretty simple. Uh, stashes, Michael Mayer, Luke Musgrave, Luke Schoonmaker, and then the premium, creme de la creme, Tucker Kraft and Sam Laporta.
99:17Sam's interesting for sure. I love the Michael Mayer, uh, Musgrave stashes.
99:21Yeah. I mean, you gotta, you gotta stash Michael Mayer cause he looked awesome his rookie year.
99:27And he looked good in a couple of games where Bowers was hurt last year.
99:31And yeah, uh, Musgrave in the right spot. He, you know, he got beat out by Kraft, but he had opportunity last year and do nothing with it.
99:41He, he could be, Hey, listen, he was drafted ahead of him.
99:45I don't know what to tell you. That's going to be the guy.
99:49Musgrave is super cheap. Packers do that shit all the time and they do it really well.
99:54Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. Go ahead. Uh, because what were you saying?
99:58I was at Musgrave, super cheap. Uh, he's like way faster than like Michael, Michael Mayer, but Michael Mayer is a complete
100:05tight end leaving a little bit on the table with the agility and the yak and stuff like that.
100:12But Michael Mayer is the kind of guy that can keep this.
100:15You throw it to him. He's going to catch it.
100:19And he's big. He stays. He can block and yada.
100:22He be on the field. Michael Mayer is the kind of guy that the lions let Laporta walk and sign Michael Mayer.
100:29You know who he reminds me of? Yeah. He reminds me of Jake Ferguson.
100:34Yeah. The way that they move and just obviously it's a much smaller sample size because he's gotten, he got, I mean,
100:41he got cooked by Brock Bowers, but like that's kind of who he reminds me of.
100:46I don't know that we'll ever get an outcome like that, but that's, that's when I watch it I'm like, Oh, it's this.
100:54You just, it would for that outcome. You got to have the quarterback being your best friend.
100:59You got to have the quarterback saying if things go wrong and it's about to go down, Ferguson's the first guy I
101:06want to see come join my fight. Right. And when Dak says that, that's how he talks about Ferguson.
101:12So that's why Ferguson gets the targets that he gets.
101:16Cause he is that him and Dak are boys.
101:19Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, no bucket talk tonight.
101:22We, we, we talked right through it, but we, we will get back to some other guys, some, some glue guys, some
101:29six man, but that, that will be stuff that will be eventually available on the website.
101:34It's going to be available in the roster reviews and help be kind of the engine for that is kind of what
101:41sparked this, but be a lot more. The buckets are going to be things that are on the show a lot more
101:49and how we talk about guys in roster construction, um, kind of moving forward and we're kind of putting all that together.
101:56So we're really excited about it. Um, I know it's kind of a weird thing to say the buckets, maybe we'll figure
102:03out a different way, just like we got to switch tweeners to, um, all-star or, or, uh, pro bowls for, for big
102:10co, you know, doesn't, doesn't want any, doesn't want any tweeners in or around.
102:15No, no, no, it's way too close to, yeah, it's way too, I don't like that.
102:20I don't like that. He's one of the tweeners around his mouth or on his team.
102:25Can't have tweeners coming out of the mouth. All right, let's wrap this one up.
102:30We appreciate you guys. We will, I promise be back on Wednesdays, uh, coming up here.
102:35Uh, shout out to the men's team. Mexico just scored.
102:38Uh, so hopefully human. I was going to yell gold, but then I missed it.
102:43We got, we got to wait to see who scored.
102:46Um, let's see. It doesn't look like it. The only, this looks like this is the only brother on the Mexican team that scored.
102:54Nice. Get it in. This is like when, uh, this is like when United States players go and play, go and play
103:01for like, you know, Uganda or something like that for basketball.
103:05Yeah. Yeah. I couldn't make the Olympic team in the United, the U S but I'll make it in Norway.
103:12Ooh, that was pretty though. Hmm. Got him. Yeah.
103:14So hopefully tomorrow we're, uh, we're advancing and, and, you know, we get to see the men play on, I believe it would be Monday night after that.
103:24So, um, shout out to them. It's been a lot of fun.
103:27The world cup's been a blast. Oh, so much fun.
103:31So, uh, anyway, we'll catch you guys next week, Wednesday, eight 30 live.
103:35We'll talk some buckets. We'll answer some questions. We'll have a good time.
103:39Maybe we might do a mock. We haven't done a mock.
103:43Hmm. All right. We feel like I see us.
103:46Peace. Oh, shout out to, uh, shout out to, to, to Jeremiah one more time.
103:51You know, that was, that was awesome. Appreciate you, man.
103:54Part of the show. Yeah. We'll catch you next week.
103:57Keep your head up, buddy. Yeah. Hit us up with any questions.
104:01Just say, just hit it with a 50 piece.
104:04Yeah. Startup questions. We'll help you straight. You straight for a while.
