1:56Oh, man. Oh, man. What it do, Future First crew?
1:59This is Jay Mack with Future First Podcast, helping you win today with the Future First mindset.
2:05That is our newest drop. I was hoping to drop that a little bit later here, but we're just gonna roll with it.
2:12That's for our favorite new rookie, Daman Claiborne. Jose, what's going on, man?
2:16Not much, Jay Mack. Yeah, great to be here in the early morning.
2:20We got a wonderful guest here with us. Otherwise, everything else has been good, man.
2:24How you been? I've been good. Yeah, speaking of our guest, I was in our local cement aisle over here, and I
2:31found Shev just looking at videos of Kenneth Walker, man.
2:34How you doing, Shev? Well, I appreciate y'all having me on.
2:38Look, I normally, I like to try to hide in the cement aisle so people can't see me or just levitate above it.
2:45So it's great to be on the ground here with Future First.
2:49I'm looking forward to talking about breakouts. Yeah, man.
2:51We got a lot of them to talk about today, so we're just gonna jump right into it.
2:57We're gonna do a quick shout out for our roster review services.

3:29So if you want all of that good stuff, like our new Process First series where we're dissecting a startup team by
3:36team going through each manager's process, check that out on our feed.
3:39It's been getting a lot of good feedback. So other than that, shout out to Fox who's been helping us with all our graphics.
3:47You can follow her on bfoxworth07. And yeah, as Shev said, we're doing breakouts today.
3:51So let's jump into it. But as first, always a quick hit.
3:55You guys ready? Let's go. Absolutely. All right, for today's quick hit, it's I'm a little bit embarrassed to bring this one
4:02up because it's I don't think this is going to go well for me here.
4:07But we're going to be talking about a trade that I pulled off in one of my leagues.
4:12It's with the OTC people and they call it the underground league.
4:16And it's a, you know, a 12 by 11 super flex tight end premium league with a tiered PPR, all sorts of good stuff.
4:23And man, I'm just just going to rip the bandaid off.
4:27Let's just get into the presentation mode here and pull up the OTC tool with the trade on the board.
4:33As you can see, it is a flipping massive trade here.
4:36We I'm calling it a Megalodon. So I'm just going to try and shout it out for the podcast peeps here real quick.
4:44I got five 27 first, including my own a 28 first, three 27 seconds, the 27 third and two 27 fourths.
4:50And then a bunch of, you know, bench backup player assets like Raritan, Mims, Bryant, Pat Bryant, and Eli Aomanor.
4:56So I sent to get those assets, Justin Jefferson, Omari and Hampton, Nico Collins, Chase Brown, Pollard, Dobbins, Coram, Pacheco, Shakir, and Hunter Henry.
5:04It's you guys got to jump onto the YouTube to see the trade because they're, you know, otherwise you're, you're Charlie day
5:11from always sunny in Philadelphia, just trying to pull the red strings and all the directions to kind of figure this one out.
5:18I don't know. I guess before I get into my process, I'm going to, I'll pass it over to you, Shev.
5:24Like, what do you think of this trade? High level, man.
5:28So I'm assuming this is, this is a complete tear down.
5:31So we're just, Hey, I, you know, like the team that got all of these assets is now in potential, like in,
5:38in, in contention to win the championship this year, if this team stays healthy and you are in a position to get
5:45Jeremiah Smith or Arch Manning sending away and removing all those points from your lineup.
5:50And also if somehow or another, we hit, you know, whatever universe in the multiverse where Eli Raritan, Pat Bryant, Marvin Minims
5:56and Alec Ayo, man, or the catching Canuck come out and they're all like top 12 at their position.
6:02Then you got utility with the first to try to buy back into making this a contender, but I don't think you're
6:09gonna have to worry about that at all. Uh, so with the five first and the 28 first, like, so six first,
6:16three seconds and a 27 third and two forwards.
6:19I really like, I really like that you can completely control the board in 2027.
6:23Everybody's all stupid. I mean, male pattern, rookie horniness, um, got the best of a lot of people.
6:29I took advantage of it, uh, to acquire some high end assets on my end, like as a player.
6:35And so even more so with 2027, people are going to want to get into the first round.
6:40I think it's going to be akin to 2024 with quarterbacks pushing the value of the skill positions down.
6:46So I like what you did here to go into a slight rebuild and look at, and honestly, if you hit on
6:53your rookie picks, that's the, that's the other thing you hit on your rookie picks and you're right back in, you're right
7:00back in a position to contend again in 2028 or as early as 2027, if all those guys are what we think that they're supposed to be.
7:08So that's just kind of where I land on it.
7:12It makes sense for what you're trying to accomplish.
7:14I never like this many pieces to a trade because I try to parse through them and make it one for one,
7:21but I can understand the thought process here. Just ripping the bandaid off and saying, Hey, I'm going into a rebuild and
7:28we're not going to, I'm not going to play around with it.
7:32No half measures like full rebuild. Yeah. I mean, that's essentially what it was.
7:36And I'm going to give Jose some space here to kind of give his thoughts on it before I dive deeper into it.
7:43So Jose, what do you think about this, man?
7:46We haven't talked about this, so I'm kind of scared to hear what you have to say.
7:51Yeah. I mean, I think it's just one of those things kind of with Sheva saying, you're, you're doing it all at once, right?
7:59Ripping the bandaid off instead of going through and selling each one of these pieces individually, which I think can also get
8:06a bit tricky because once people know your full sellout mode, sometimes you don't get necessarily the value that you're wanting.
8:12So this guy just happened to have all these firsts.
8:15It just made it, uh, it made a lot of sense because if this guy had this many first, then most of the league didn't have their first.
8:24Right. So I think it makes a pretty decent sense.
8:27Um, did you get like full value for every single player?
8:30Probably not, but, um, you know, it accomplishes a goal.
8:34It gets you the one-on-one. Like if you turn, you know, the, if we put pick values to those picks and one
8:40of them is the one-on-one, I think the trade looks a decently more, um, you know, favorable.
8:46I mean, the players you got back are nothings.
8:48The force are not that much Hunter Henry, but check out Shakir that you sent away or not very much.
8:55Um, the only big pieces are like Jefferson, Hampton, Nico and chase Brown.
8:59And I guess Kyler Murray, depending on how you feel about him.
9:02So I think it's an okay return, you know, right.
9:06It's not, it's not anything, uh, egregious in any sort of way.
9:09Um, it just makes it so you don't have to do a lot of extra work, which also, you know, that accounts
9:16for something, your time, personal time as well. So I don't hate it, man.
9:20I, I, it's definitely not like, um, you know, the most high end value.
9:25I think the, the place where you lose the most values of Jefferson and Hampton, um, you know, if Hampton has a
9:32breakout season, then you probably lost a significant amount of value.
9:35If Jefferson returns to a top five wide receiver with Kyler Murray, um, you probably just gave away one of the best
9:42stacks in the NFL or for fantasy going forward, like at least next year, that would be the place where you, you lose a lot of value.
9:50If things stay, you know, Jefferson doesn't return to that high peak and Hampton kind of is just like a solid road
9:57running back one, instead of like a top five.
10:00Then I think you're, you know, you're not horribly off.
10:03Um, but that that's the worst case scenario, obviously like best case scenario is like guys like Nico Collins, you know, doesn't really bring anything forward.
10:11Chase Brown falls off. Um, Tony Pollard loses his job.
10:14Like there's, there's other ways where this trade also looking at it next year could also be more favorable to you as well.
10:21Yeah. A good catch. Also, I didn't shout that out for the, for the podcast listeners, but I, Kyler Murray was included in this trade as well.
10:30You look right over him, man. You look right past him.
10:33How could you? It's so easy. It's so easy too.
10:36Um, but yeah, I, I did, I did have him in there and yeah, I mean, I think you guys nailed my
10:43process here was I had a contending team, you know, for a 12 by 11 outside of what you see here on the screen.
10:51And those names we listed, the other starters on my team are, you know, Lamar Jackson, uh, Josh Downs, uh, Quinton Johnston, Isaiah likely.
10:58And then beyond that, it's not much. So when you add those four names to these 11, I had a decent starting
11:05lineup, but I didn't looking at the rest of the league.
11:08I didn't feel like I had a chance to really push for that championship.
11:13I may have made the playoffs and, you know, maybe I get lucky, but I also just felt like some of these assets here are pretty volatile.
11:21Yeah. Justin Jefferson could bounce back in a big way this season, but if he has even another, you know, wide receiver
11:28seven or eight finish on the season, I think that value next year is, is going to drop from what it is
11:35now, you know, right now he's kind of like a back end of the first, sometimes slips into the middle second for startups.
11:42And I think if he has another wide receiver season, like next year or this year going into his age 28 season,
11:49I just think that value is going to drop further.
11:52Hampton is the piece I'm really worried about here.
11:55I'm, I do think he's going to break out this season, a little spoiler alert forward into our breakouts.
12:00He is on there for me. Nico, I feel like could be one of those guys that, that kind of drops off.
12:07Maybe Jaden Higgins pushes for that number one role here in this upcoming season.
12:12And he's also no spring chicken either. And yeah, I don't know.
12:15I like chase Brown. I think he's got a good path forward, but Kyler Murray, I think he's a huge sell right now.
12:23If you can get them off any of your rosters, I'd be looking to do that.
12:27And the rest of these guys, Dobbins are sorry, not Dobbins.
12:31Blake Corum was probably the one that I really didn't want to let go out of all of them.
12:37I think he has a role that's growing in the Rams.
12:40And I kind of liked that, but it was, he pushed to put him in there.
12:45He also was trying to put likely in there, but I pushed back and he ended up settling for Hunter Henry.
12:52And yeah, this is what we landed on. Fox called this a CVS receipt of a trade.
12:57And that just made me laugh so hard. So if you guys see a coupon at the bottom for me to get
13:04a first round discount on my next pick of buying four or more players, I'm looking for that still, but let me
13:11know if you guys find it, drop it down in the comments, what you think of this trade.
13:16But other than that, let's move on here. We're going to hear from the podfather about the dynasty deluxe before we get into our breakouts.
13:24If you play in dynasty, you need dynasty deluxe, our premium package for dynasty leaguers.
13:29We rank over 300 players updated every week, all year long.
13:32And there's a win now mode and a rebuild mode with super flex and tight end premium controls and a dynasty league
13:39sync where you can say, sync down all of my sleeper teams, all my FFPC teams.
13:44And then you can browse around your leagues for who has needs.
13:48And then you can use our trade finder to see what kinds of trades are happening in leagues that are similar to the one I want to do.
13:56Then you can analyze trades using our trade analyzer, which balances the lifetime value, which includes pick values out to like 2028.
14:03All of that plus the rookie guide $25 value is included.
14:07So if you're just in one dynasty league, dynasty deluxe is well worth it.
14:11And use your host's promo code and you can bump up to all in and get $25 off.
14:17Like a true demon. This guy just continues to haunt us here.
14:20I'm going to try and fix that for the next episode, but hopefully you guys are getting a kick out of that.
14:27All right. We're welcome back. We're jumping into our breakouts here.
14:31Let's get right into it. Cause we got a lot to go over.
14:35So chef, I'm just going to pass it right over to you, man.
14:39Kick us off with your first breakout here. Well, I, do you want me to go, you know, does it matter?
14:45Do I have to go in the order of my list here?
14:49No, we're, we're probably only going to get to three of them.
14:53So just pick your favorite of the three and start with any one of them.
14:57Oh, easy. It's going to be, it's going to be camp scatabow.
15:01Absolutely. We love camps. Got a bow. Uh, weeks two, three, seven, basically when he was a full time player, he's at,
15:08you know, he's fifth in target share. He's at 24% targets per outrun eighth in receptions.
15:13Yeah. He averaged four targets and three receptions a game, basically weeks two to seven.
15:17He was third in missed tackle sports per attempt is seventh and yards after contact per attempt, which makes sense.
15:24If you watch the way that he plays, sorry.
15:26I, I mean, I have several nicknames for him.
15:29The foremost being CTE scat pack, because it looks like he's actively trying to give himself CTE.
15:35So I like, I want as much camp scatabow as possible.
15:38We got bullish signal. Finally, once we got through all the fear mongering of the off season and we were talking about,
15:45you're talking about him, you know, first it was Kenneth Walker coming there in free agency.
15:50Then it was the, you know, the giants drafting Jeremiah love, which I believe that 100% would have done and ruined all
15:57of our good times from a fantasy perspective. If he would have fallen to fall into pick five for some reason, uh, if my Titans didn't draft him.
16:05So we have all those things. Then they took a tackle in the top 10 as well.
16:11So they took Francis Maui Noah, who was one of the most road grainy offensive linemen in the entire draft.
16:17Now is he, does he end up playing guard?
16:20Maybe, but also he's a people mover. It's real, real aggressive.
16:23And then you hear the coach speak and you hear camp scatabow talking about taking, you know, just basically them being a
16:30violent football team and trying to establish a run at something that we've seen from John Harbaugh in his 17 years in Baltimore.
16:37So was really, really excited to get a chance to talk about camp scatabow because I think he does have that three down use usage and utility.
16:45We saw that it is on the state. We saw that in the limited amount of time in 2020, you know, 2024
16:52before his ankle got turned the wrong way. So I think he's going to be healthy.
16:57He said he's already, he could outrun a baby hippo if, uh, yeah, dude.
17:01I mean, just, just go Google camp scatabow quotes.
17:04If you're having a really bad day and you want to laugh at some stuff, just go listen to him on his streams because it is absolutely hilarious.
17:13But also I'm, I'm pretty sure that somebody is like feeding it to him because I don't know if he can read.
17:20So just, just take that with a grain of salt that you might not.
17:24But when it comes to football, the football is awesome.
17:27He was at 17.1 half PPR points per game.
17:30And I think he has 20 point per game upside.
17:33If we're going to get the pass catching plus just really Tyrone Tracy taking a back seat to him.
17:39So I've talked enough. I'm curious to know what you guys thoughts are as far as that goes.
17:45Yeah. I mean, he's somebody that we've actually talked about in, uh, on our podcast a bit.
17:50We think that the market hasn't really reacted to the fear mongering going away that you were talking about.
17:56Like there was lots of chances for his, um, you know, spot to get blown up, but it didn't at all.
18:02And it seems like the fantasy community hasn't really come back to earth to what camp scatterwood could be.
18:08My only concern is that ankle we saw kind of with Pollard after his first year back from the ankle, he just
18:15wasn't nearly as explosive and it took him a bit to get right.
18:19Um, but, uh, I, I agree. I think Cam, Cam scatter, but if he can be healthy after that ankle and, you
18:26know, keep his head intact, um, long enough for the whole season, um, can definitely be a, a decent breakout and a
18:33guy that a lot of people aren't really banking on and putting a lot of stock into right now.
18:39Um, yeah. What do you, what do you think, J-Mac about scatter?
18:42Scatter, man. I, I love it. I I'm all in on scatter, but I've been trading for him, drafting him and startups.
18:49I think I sent like the one Oh seven to get him in one of my leagues.
18:55And I, that was such a huge win for me.
18:58That one fell into my lap. I didn't even have to send it.
19:02It just popped in my inbox. I've been grabbing him in the sixth rounds of startups, reaching what feels like around a
19:09head, but still somehow feels like a discount on him.
19:12He's just a huge buy for me. And I love the breakout call here.
19:16If, if she didn't shout him out, I would have.
19:19So I love it. Yeah. I mean, if I can jump in with my breakout, because it's actually directly tied to Cam
19:26scatter, boot, um, it's quarterback Jackson Dart. I think he's got the, um, highest ceiling to really break into the top five here with his rushing ability, right?
19:35His, his, um, efficiency passing doesn't really need to go up very highly as long as he can get to a roughly
19:41those 35, um, rushing yards per game. And he has strong, um, touchdown equity, you know, to survive average passing weeks.
19:48I think if he can improve modestly on his passing and even in, um, slightly in year two, he's pretty much wheels up.
19:55I mean, I think it's somewhat like the camp scatter booth out if he can, you know, he has to run a
20:02bit, um, uh, smarter and keep himself safe. Right.
20:05Um, you put everything else that's going on outside off the field, whatever, um, uh, aside, I think he's, you know, set
20:12to make that jump into those kinds of elite rushing quarterbacks.
20:15Um, and I think that the New York giants offense in, in a general, in a general sense is looking to be,
20:22um, you know, much better next year. I mean, they were, they already made a strong jump when dark scatter boo came in with neighbors.
20:30Um, I think they're just all wheels up to, to be one of the top offenses, even if they're not winning a
20:36ton of games, but I think they're going to be one of the candidates that, um, you know, was near the bottom
20:43picking at the top of the draft. Um, but near the bottom of standings to, um, quickly turn it around.
20:50I mean, they, they have a winning coach with a winning mentality.
20:53They have all the pieces as chef mentioned earlier.
20:56They also went offensive line, um, early on in, in the draft, which also speaks volumes to keeping, um, dart upright, which
21:03he did take quite a bit of sacks in his rookie year, which I think is, you know, somewhat expected with his, um, style of play.
21:11But I think with a healthy neighbors, a healthy scatter boo, um, a better improved offensive line and, and, you know, a
21:18game, uh, a winning style head coach and John Harbaugh, I think Jackson darts pretty poised to make that jump into one
21:25of the elite assets, um, at quarterback, especially in super flex leaks.
21:28How are you, uh, viewing Jackson dart, uh, chef?
21:31I think that the cool, the coolest part about this is you have, you have Harbaugh who's had this one, him and
21:38him and Greg Roman kind of engineered that first Lamar MVP season.
21:42And so you have that with Greg Roman being a special, you know, a special assistant to the offense.
21:48Obviously Matt Nagy is a, you know, the offensive coordinator.
21:51And I think he's, you know, he's on my suspected list of coaching terrorists, the coaching organization now coach.
21:57So I, I, I'm a little nervous, but it gives me a little bit of, we're, we're still going to be able to get the rushing upside.
22:05Like we could get, it might not, it says here in the notes, he might not throw for 4,500 yards, but could
22:12you get six, 700 yards rushing and eight to 10 touchdowns from Jackson dart?
22:16I believe he had nine touchdowns last year. Right.
22:19So I think that if we're going to get six to 700 yards rushing, I mean, it's clear that that's going to be a part of his game.
22:28And he's, you know, as reluctant as he is to change it, I think he's going to have to change it somewhat,
22:35but I think that that's a great call because he's really safe because of the floor, the rushing floor.
22:40And he's one of the, one of his things is that he's one of the most accurate deep ball passers.
22:47That was kind of his calling card in college.
22:49So he had the most area yards. I can't remember the stat off the top of my head, but one of the
22:56cool things about him was like throwing the ball deep out of college.
23:00Like he threw for the most yards and had the highest completion percentage on passes.
23:05They traveled 20 plus yards in the air. And you saw it a couple of times kind of come to fruition with normal league neighbors.
23:13This was with Darius Slayton. Like I just, I mean, adding the league neighbors to this thing, which is a whole different
23:20thing that we've got to get into would be, you know, that's, that's kind of the icing on the cake to me.
23:26So yeah, I love this call with Jackson dark.
23:29Yeah, I agree. I mean, I was like pleasantly surprised with how good of a passer Jackson dart was last season.
23:36I just remember watching and being like, that's not an easy throw to make.
23:40And he made it look easy and throwing the guys like Wandale on top of that.
23:45No shade on Wandale, but I mean, like you said, he's no Malik neighbors here, chef.
23:50So I love the call. And even if this is like a run first offense and you know, maybe the passing yards
23:57aren't there, he still has that upside of the rushing floor, you know, in that Lamar Jackson role that we've seen in a hard ball offense.
24:05So I think it is a relatively safe. He just needs to stay upright.
24:09I think is the only thing that we're really worried about with him.
24:13So yeah, great call on dart there. I'm going to move in to my first prospect here.
24:19And I'm, I don't know, this might be a little bit of a chicken one because he kind of broke out last
24:25year, but Tyler Warren, I, I just, there's so much hype for Colson Loveland right now.
24:30And I get it. Like Colson Loveland is in a, he's a great dynasty asset to buy into right now because the
24:37offense is trending up and you saw him be really good last year, living up to what the prospect could be.
24:44But man, there, there's a lot of competition for targets in that room and Ben Johnson, you know, wants to run the ball too.
24:51So it's like, to me, those things just aren't really adding up for why Colson Loveland should be taken ahead of Tyler Warren.
24:58I think Tyler Warren was started real hot last, last year, but then just kind of fell off, you know, after Daniel
25:05Jones went down with the Achilles injury, it was not great.
25:09And I think he, he kind of has that Emeka Ekbuka syndrome right now where people are still high on him, but
25:15they're not taking him as high as they should.
25:18And I see a path to 150 targets for Tyler Warren.
25:22He had 112 targets in 2025 and there's 111 being vacated because they got rid of Michael Pittman.
25:27And there's very little competition to be added there.
25:30I mean, you have Alec Pierce, which, you know, good on Alec Pierce to break out last year.
25:36And there's, there's Josh Downs. There's a lot of hype building for him, whether it's warranted or not.
25:41He was the one I really wanted to call out in this breakout was Josh Downs, but I just kept going back to Tyler Warren.
25:49And I really do think that 150 targets is real for him and logical.
25:53And then on top of that, I think touchdown regression is coming for him.
25:58He had four touchdowns receiving touchdowns last year. He had 21 red zone targets and four touchdowns.
26:03That's less than a 20% touchdown conversion rate in the red zone.
26:07Whereas 33% is the average for all of the tight ends getting those.
26:11So assuming his role stays the same and TD regression hits, I think double digit touchdowns is a reality for Tyler Warren.
26:18And that's not even including rushing touchdowns or passing touchdowns.
26:21He threw the ball for a touchdown. He didn't complete it, but they created that opportunity for him, which is just bonkers
26:28that he has a role like that. I think a realistic projection for him is a hundred receptions, 1100 yards and 10
26:34touchdowns, which would equate to 16 points per game and a half PPR half point tight end premium.
26:40And like, that's just under what we saw from Trey McBride last year and an offense that threw the ball over 600 times.
26:47So to me, Tyler Warren just seemed like the easiest selection here in a fourth round of a startup.
26:53I love it. Shev, you, you are itching to speak on this.
26:57So go ahead, man. What'd you think? I absolutely love everything that you just said.
27:01And I don't like just like agreeing with people feeling like I agree just to agree, but I absolutely agree with everything that you just said.
27:09So it's almost, okay. One thing that I think we have to understand as content creators is that our, our listeners and
27:16our fan base, like they're not going to have as long of our memory or be willing to go back and look
27:23at like, look at the season in parts, which is kind of how I've chosen my breakout is like guys who performed
27:30on the back half of the season going into this season.
27:33So for you to go back and look at what was happening before the injury to Daniel Jones and then kind of
27:40break it down into like, Hey, this is what actually happened.
27:44We're actually due for some sort of regression and for Tyler Warren's path to be like dynasty wise, I have him, Loveland and Tucker craft.
27:51You guys know, I love Tucker craft a whole bunch in the same tier, but people are looking at it like, Oh, well it's clearly close to Loveland.
28:00And then it's, you know, he's in his team by himself beside it.
28:04Like we brought back, but I think Tyler Warren, you're looking at weeks one through eight go like before Daniel Jones injury,
28:11I think through week nine, he was second in the league in receiving yards.
28:15So we were, we were on the precipice of having a third straight historic tight end season.
28:21And then we got robbed because Daniel Jones's Achilles exploded.
28:24So I love everything that you said about Tyler Warren here.
28:27I, I think that really because Alec Pierce is such a downfield, uh, volatile target asset.
28:32Now he is one of the best deep threats in the league, but that's never going to equate to 130 or 140 targets.
28:39If there is someone who commands that we've already seen Tyler Warren do it in college.
28:44Now in the men's league, it's a little different, but we saw him have success in the men's league immediately when the offense was clicking and flowing.
28:53So I think that this is a great call.
28:55I think that while for some reason it's like the Hatfields and the McCoys or like, there's just a civil war amongst
29:02fantasy owners between like Colson Loveland and Tyler Warren.
29:05And I feel like the answer is just both.
29:08Like, I don't think that I just don't, I don't, I don't have any sort of reason to think that Tyler Warren
29:15is not going to be awesome for fantasy. Yeah.
29:17Yeah. I mean, I think so. Uh, I think it kind of just depends on who you ended up drafting in that
29:24and that's who you're hoping, but I wouldn't be super surprised if after next year, actually, if craft is back from his
29:31ACL, um, in, uh, you know, Warren stays healthy as well, that they're both over-performed Loveland and the conversation next year is,
29:38is Loveland ever really going to truly get to be an elite asset or a tight end?
29:43We know he has the skill, but is he ever really going to be able to get enough of the pie?
29:50If Roma dunes is as good as we think of Luther burden is as good as we think, um, you know, is,
29:57is he ever going to get enough of the pie as Caleb Williams ever going to be, um, a strong enough asset to sustain everybody?
30:04Or is it just kind of, kind of rotate?
30:07I think that's, we could see that being the case playing out next year and, you know, Warren and craft given what
30:14they have their wide receiver rooms and who they're, um, playing with, you know, could be, um, just much simpler to predict their future and their target share.
30:23And the biggest question I do have for the Colts is we saw the wheels fall off as soon as Daniel Jones was gone.
30:30We don't know if Daniel Jones, what, you know, his recovery, where he's going to be at, is it going to be Riley Leonard?
30:38Who's exactly going to be playing quarterback. I think that's the scariest part, but, um, and, you know, looking at it from
30:44into the future and, um, you know, dynasty and whatnot, like you're pretty concerned.
30:49You're not as concerned because you feel like Tyler Warren is going to figure out a way to get his hand on
30:56the ball and they're going to figure out how to get him the ball just because of how talented he is.
31:02Yeah. All right, chef. Why don't you lead off with your next breakout here, man?
31:07Oh, okay. So I don't know how you guys feel about this, but I have been in deep thought and meditation in the cement aisle about this one.
31:16And the conclusion that I came to was the fact that Parker Washington is going to lead the Jags and targets this year.
31:23I people have been saying it a lot, man, and I'm starting to come around on it.
31:28So lay your argument. Why you think that's happening here?
31:31So obviously we know that it was a pretty, pretty tumultuous ride for the first half of the season for the Jaguars.
31:38People questioning Trevor Lawrence people, the only real reliable asset because Brian Thomas jr.
31:42Completely busted was Travis ETN or HN Travis, a chance, a junior, uh, who's now with the saints.
31:48But basically from weeks 12 to 18, they were in a gotta habit situation.
31:52They were fighting, they were fighting to, for their divisional lives and they, this, they had to play winning football.
31:58And while they were playing winning football, it led the highest pass around 58.8% alignment in the slot during that time.
32:05Fifth in contested catches, which was good for fifth in the entire, like in the entire NFL was seven.
32:11And the second most missed tackles force per attempt among wide receivers.
32:15So not only was he, was he winning in contested catch situations, 12 contested catch targets, seven receptions, fifth in the league.
32:21He was creating after the catch, he was making people miss.
32:25And that goes to his punt return ability. So Parker Washington, even if he doesn't come out of the gate as the
32:32leading target earner, we have, we have the historical, the historical relevance of looking at what happened with the slot in 2024 and Tampa with Chris Godwin.
32:40And he was basically 19.7 fantasy points per game and second in total fantasy points before his ankle exploded in 2024.
32:47So you have a history, you have a pattern of usage, you have Liam Cohen's offense, which we have seen, uh, you
32:53know, just be just a fantasy cornucopia of goodness.
32:56And so all of those things lead me to believe that they're not going to go away from what won them ball
33:03games in 2020, you know, in 2025 and in 2026, I fully believe that he's going to end up being the primary target earner.
33:10Uh, like I said, this is all with 33 first read targets, which was like 24th in the league.
33:16So efficiency was the name of the game. And he still was like 16 fantasy points per game during this stretch.
33:23So I'll see the floor and I'm open to feedback.
33:26Yeah. Someone is, is going to be earning these targets in this offense.
33:30And right now it feels like, like a toss up, like Jacoby Myers is just getting no consideration for it.
33:36And I like the Parker Washington call. He's young.
33:39He's like what? 20, 24 years old. Yeah. So especially for dynasty.
33:43Right. And my only issue with him is like the cost is, is reflecting him where he's going.
33:48Like he's, he's almost as expensive as like Brian Thomas jr.
33:52And in some ways, but I think I do like the call.
33:56He is a target earner. He was, he was the dog on the field there last year when Brian Thomas jr.
34:02Wouldn't go over and they don't make the catches that they want to Parker Washington was the guy to get those ones done.
34:09And honestly, like even as a prospect, he was a little underrated coming into the league.
34:14So I love the call. I don't have much of Parker Washington, unfortunately.
34:18So I'm kind of just sitting on the sideline watching.
34:21And, um, I am taking the opportunity to buy in on Brian Thomas jr, but not because I think he's going to be good with the Jags.
34:30I think that there, he moves on and you know, the next season is just the role that they want Brian Thomas
34:37to play is not what he would excel at.
34:39So I'm hoping he gets moved here traded or, you know, out of that contract in a couple of years and we
34:46see him breakout, but Jose, what do you think about Parker Washington, man?
34:50Yeah. I mean, it's actually kind of funny. Uh, me and chef as I, without doing any homework together, anything have actually
34:57been on like just the opposite side of the cement aisle.
35:00It seems like, cause, uh, we have a lot of players that, um, are tied together in our breakout.
35:06Um, whether it was Cam's got a boo and dart, um, I know he's got a certain, um, Tennessee quarterback maybe on his list.
35:14He might be talking about, and I have a Tennessee wide receiver.
35:18Um, and I have, I had for a bit, I was debating who to talk about Brian Thomas jr on my list.
35:24I went with a different wide receiver, but, um, Brian Thomas jr was who I was thinking.
35:30So I, and the stuff coming out of OTAs, the only reason it would make me a little bit scared for, uh,
35:36Washington is that they're saying that the two wide receiver sets, it's looking like Myers and, um, Brian Thomas jr at this point.
35:44Now, obviously this is early on in OTAs. The, could they be building hype to trade Brian Thomas jr?
35:50I think, you know, the only reason I still stick with Brian Thomas jr in terms of being the breakout for the
35:56Jags going forward, it's just, we saw what he could do.
36:00Um, now obviously we haven't seen him do it with Trevor Lawrence, which is the biggest question.
36:05Like, do they just not have good chemistry? Is he just not, he's just not the read that he looks for.
36:12Um, so I think that will be interesting. I think there's definitely like you were saying, and in general, there is somebody
36:18there's financing gold in the Jaguars, um, you know, in, in Jacksonville's mountains.
36:22I don't know if there's mountains out there, but you know, whatever it fits the narrative here that to be mine.
36:29Cause I think Trevor Lawrence can, and under Liam Cohen has kind of developed to be this kind of, um, elite pastor
36:36that we were all hoping he could be. I think that will continue.
36:40So there's somebody that's going to make, um, you know, everybody very happy for fantasy football is just, which one is it going to be?
36:48I think the clearest answer would be if like a Brian Thomas does get moves.
36:52Cause then you're, you know, Jacoby Myers and Parker Washington specifically are completely wheels up.
36:57Um, so I don't hate the shout for Parker Washington.
37:00I think if all three of them stay my, um, my horse in that race would still be Brian Thomas jr.
37:07But, um, I could definitely see it being Parker Washington.
37:10I mean, he demonstrated it to have the chemistry with Trevor Lawrence down the stretch, like chef was saying, um, last year.
37:17So it's definitely a pretty, um, going to be interesting, right?
37:20It's a, you know, you don't always hear about ambiguous wide receiver room, but I think this is one where like there,
37:27if you can get it right for fantasy, you're probably buying cheap on all three.
37:31Like, I don't think any of the players that are there, whether it's Washington, BTJ or, um, Jacoby Myers are extremely expensive.
37:38So, and you can end up with a very solid wide receiver two or flex, or, you know, if it's, um, even higher than that.
37:46Yeah. Yeah. I'm, I'm scared that it will be Parker Washington because of how much Brian Thomas I have, but Hey, Brian Thomas jr.
37:54gets moved. We all win, you know? So Jose, go ahead and go off with your next one, man.
37:59Yeah. I mean, um, so speaking of wide receiver, I'll just, I'll just hit mindset that I previously mentioned, um, it here,
38:06it's going to be Carnell Tate, um, for us, let's go for the Tennessee Titans here.
38:11I thought it was funny when I was looking through some stuff about Tate that they happened to mention that he's the
38:18highest wide receiver drafted by the Tennessee Titans ever.
38:21He went, I think one spot ahead of Corey Davis, if I'm not mistaken, a chef.
38:26So I thought that was just funny. I don't know what that means, but, um, it does tie into one of my
38:33first points, which is like these wide receivers that are taking, taking in, you know, this early in the NFL draft or
38:39not to be brought along slowly on a, you know, um, little bit by little bit, you know, they're brought in to
38:46be dominate and dominate and, um, be the guy.
38:49Uh, I think that was a lot of the questions for Tate was, is he ever a true alpha?
38:55I think right now it's his best chance to prove it because the players he's going to be playing with in the
39:02wide receiver room are for sure not alphas, whether it's, um, Wandale or, you know, whatever shadow of Calvin Ridley's left to play football there.
39:10Um, nobody else should be commanding targets, right? Um, even a guy like Chick moved on.
39:15So it's, it's pretty much Cardinal Tate should be, um, Cam Ward's number one read there.
39:20And I think that's, it all comes down to how Cam Ward develops under Brian Davel's system and what they got going on there.
39:27But if we're predicting or thinking Cam Ward's going to take that step forward, it's going to be hand in hand with Cardinal Tate, right?
39:35I mean, Cardinal Tate coming out of college was a, um, you know, he, he was, uh, hold on, lost my spot.
39:42Uh, he's, he was, he was, he had downfield ability, a large catch radius and elite body control.
39:47Um, those are all great things for, um, fantasy, right?
39:50It's a very usable fantasy profile. You can win vertically, win on timing routes and win in the red zone.
39:57And for rookie wide receivers, those things are important because, um, they give, uh, the ability to manufacture touches and get the Cardinal Tate involved quickly, right?
40:05He has that ability. Um, I think some of the stuff about his speed where it's a, it's a bit of more
40:12of a ramp up seat than a quick twitch speed.
40:15That's, I mean, we've seen wide receivers that aren't blazing off the line, uh, be super effective and be very good.
40:21Um, like, uh, I think of as a cowboy fan, does Brian all the time who was not super quick off the
40:28line, but was just able to beat everybody, uh, going up for the ball and just running well routes.
40:34So he's not, um, a drum or chase by any chance, but I think he wins in a lot of other different
40:41areas that, um, you know, if we are expecting, like I said, the, the Tennessee Titans to go forward and take a
40:48step forward and become a more productive and more, um, winning team with Cam Ward at the helm, then I think Cardinal
40:55Tate is going to be a big piece of that.
40:58Yeah. Shev, give me your thoughts on Cardinal Tate here, man.
41:01Oh, buddy. I absolutely. I mean, I've been calling Cardinal Tate gospel George Pickens because he just reminds me of, he reminds
41:08me of God like George Pickens, who's my most owned dynasty wide receiver.
41:12But if, if he only grew up listening to gospel music, so super mild mannered, just very, very, very polished wide receiver
41:19who also was one of the best contested catch guys, you know, and it, it's a hand and glove fit with Cam Ward.
41:26If you just, my thing with Cam Ward was just, if you just give him just receivers that'll catch the ball receivers
41:33that will not act like they're clapping their elbows together to try to catch football.
41:38And let's just see what happens. I think some really cool things could happen.
41:42And I don't know if you guys have seen with the OTAs, but they're already developing, they're already developing this, this crazy chemistry.
41:49We saw, you know, there's a, there's supposedly, you know, I'm not deep into them trenches you guys are with, with the,
41:56with the Twitter, the Twitter X videos, but supposedly there was a 50 yard touchdown that they converted on during OTAs that
42:03they can't release that the Titans media can't release because they can't release all 22 footage, uh, team footage during OTAs.
42:09So you have that, you have him, you know, I think he scored three touchdowns on the day that day.
42:15So they're already developing and you hear it from inside the building.
42:19Like even some of our biggest beat reporters are already big fans of Cornell Tate.
42:24I, I just feel like it's just kind of a, Hey, welcome home guys.
42:28Cause this dude is awesome. And he just so happened to be playing against like playing with a future first round pick
42:35in, you know, well, a book ended up being a first round pick.
42:39And then a guy who was going to go top five, potentially number one overall, depending on who has the pick in
42:462027 and Jeremiah Smith, who is the definition of a generational prospect.
42:50So I can't fault him. He carved out a receiving role as a true freshman and had more receptions in JSN, more
42:56of all these other guys, anybody not named, not named Jeremiah Smith, Cardinal Tate had more receiving yards as a friend or
43:03receptions as a freshman and all those guys. And then he was meaningful on a national championship team, 700 yards and six touchdowns.
43:10And he took that step forward again this year and performed alongside Jeremiah Smith.
43:15You know, it was still like, I know people are saying, well, he wasn't the number one and you shouldn't take someone
43:22who wasn't the number one, but I don't care.
43:24You can very clearly see this dude is awesome at football.
43:28He was standing out on a team with, again, a Mecca Ibuka.
43:32If you go back to the Northwestern game, his sophomore, his true sophomore year, he was standing out with all those guys on the field.
43:39Okay. So I love Cardinal Tate. I love the shout out.
43:43And I think that he's going to work perfectly with Cam Ward.
43:46And I'm glad that there are people who will fade him because they don't realize how special Jeremiah Smith, how special the
43:53wide receiver room in general at Ohio state is.
43:56And the fact that he ran like a, he didn't run a good 40.
44:00So he can't be good. So yeah, I absolutely love it.
44:04Man. Chef said it all. I don't need to say anymore.
44:07If you still doubt it, just, just go watch, watch him play football and tell me that he's not going to be good, man.
44:15When I, when I saw that video come out with the one handed catch, I was just like, okay, I know he
44:22didn't drop anything, but I didn't know he catches everything like that.
44:25That didn't really show up on film. So like, yeah, give Cam Ward a receiver who can catch anything and good things are going to happen.
44:33I I've been saying it. I think Cardinal Tate is a lock for 130 targets this year.
44:39And that's only going to mean very good things for his fantasy success this year.
44:43So I love it. All right, let's take a quick break and then we'll come back with my second breakout here.
44:50All right. Well, welcome back. We are going to get into my second breakout here.
44:54And I already alluded to it at the top of the show, but it is Omarion Hampton.
45:00He was one of my favorite 2025 prospects, which is saying a lot because there was a lot of running backs that
45:07came out in that class, but he didn't really get the option or the opportunity to perform last year.
45:12He had very limited action because of the injury and also Najee Harris in the beginning of the year kind of thwarted
45:19any kind of, you know, production we got to see from him.
45:23But in that limited production, he was very promising.
45:26He was number three and missed tackles force per attempt.
45:29And that's, you know, qualified by a minimum of a hundred attempts.
45:33He was also number 11 in yards created per touch, which is one of the stickiest stats when it comes to running
45:40backs here of how much they are creating for their production beyond what's blocked for them or what is schemed up for them.
45:47And then on top of that, he's not just a grinder.
45:50He was number six in breakaway percentage. 6.4% of his runs went for 15 or more yards.
45:55So I just, not only did I love the prospect coming out of college, but then he showed that he can do it in this next level.
46:04And now the real meat of the argument layer in the situation, is there a better situation in the league for any running back at this point?
46:12I mean, Mike McDaniel as an offensive coordinator, I mean, has head coach four years in Miami, his running back rooms averaged
46:191900 yards on average with, with a low of 1600 yards in 2022.
46:23I mean, yes, there's HN who is, you know, kind of at the forefront of that.
46:28And he's a great explosive running back, but Mostert was there too, in 2022, who, when he had that, that big breakout
46:35year, he was at the forefront of that, you know, 28 year old Raheem Mostert getting it done for, for the dolphins that year.
46:42And we're talking about a stud, you know, Omari and Hampton, the guy who can get it done.
46:48And on top of that, the Chargers only invested into that, those guys up front that they have a top half offensive
46:55line, arguably one of the best, in my opinion, we didn't see it in 2025 because of all the injuries that they had to go through.
47:03So I'm expecting a much better performance from that offensive line in 2026.
47:07But yeah, I mean, they, they invested heavily into them.
47:10I mean, they got rid of Zion Johnson, which was a huge loss for them, but they replaced them with Cole Strange,
47:17who came over from Miami with Mike McDaniel. So I think he liked what he saw from him and he is okay putting him in the offense.
47:25And it's, it's his guy. I think that he'll work fine in that scheme.
47:29And then they also upgraded their center and they got Tyler Biotish from the commanders.
47:34So on top of that, you, you still have, you know, their, their left and right tackle who are, who are studs.
47:41And then they added Charlie Kohler, Alec Ingold, and David Njoku, you know, those first two are just blocking guys.
47:47So I think we're going to see probably heavy 12, heavy 13 personnel out of the charges this year, which is only
47:54great things for the run game and Omari and Hampton.
47:57And then there's little competition for touches too. I mean, Keaton Mitchell, sure, but let's be real.
48:02Like he's not Omari and Hampton. He's going to be a guy that they plug in on third downs every now and
48:09then to kind of get those big chunk runs when, when they need him off of play action.
48:15So I don't see him as a real threat here.
48:18And then Justin Herbert as the play action caller and the leader of the offense, that's really the real threat for the defense.
48:25They're going to have to respect him. And that's going to open up lanes here for Omari and Hampton, especially when you consider the scheme coming in.
48:33So I love Omari and Hampton. I think he's due for a big breakout year, probably underrated in terms of dynasty rankings.
48:40Like I'm probably taking Omari and Hampton over Ashton Gentry at this point.
48:44And I don't know if that's a hot take or not, but what do you guys think about that?
48:50Chef, lead us off, man. I wouldn't go that far, but I do have Amari and Hampton aggressively, aggressively ranked because I
48:57do think that there's where there's smoke, there's fire.
49:00And we've seen, we've seen Josh McDaniels just, or Mike McDaniel, excuse me.
49:04I get, there's too many McDaniels and McDonald's and McDowell.
49:07Like I get confused with all that. So, but I do think that we've seen year over year, over year concept, you
49:14know, proof of concept with Mike McDaniel and being one of the most efficient and, you know, being one of the most
49:21efficient play designers from a run scheme perspective. I mean, Devon H.
49:24Ham, rookie year, average seven yards a carry. We haven't seen somebody do that on over a hundred carries, I think ever.
49:31And then that same year, Raheem Mostert, Raheem Mostert went for 20 rushing touchdowns.
49:36So they're always going, there's always going to be an efficient running back.
49:40And I think with Amari on Hampton, you get proof of concept, Mary's super, hyper athletic talent with prototypical size.
49:46The biggest change that Mike McDaniel brings is the target share to the running back.
49:51So there's only 74 targets to the running back in 2025 with Greg Roman.
49:55That number is going to go well over a hundred.
49:58And I'm thinking the majority of it, I'm with you.
50:01I mean, he was at an 11% target share in his healthy games last year.
50:06That number going up over a hundred with that 11% target share for Amari on Hampton could spell really, really, really good things.
50:13So I love this call out here because really, I'm just trying to buy as many pieces of the Chargers offense as possible.
50:20And there's, there's only, there's questions with everyone else at the price point, except for Justin Herbert and Amari on Hampton.
50:27Like my, like I have a Chargers breakout, you know, I have a Chargers breakout that we may or may not have
50:33time to discuss, but there's questions there, but there's no questions about Amari on Hampton.
50:38There's no questions about Justin Herbert. So like, let's get those high end assets and then we can profit.
50:44Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. I mean, jumping in here, I think I have a little bit of a different take.
50:50I definitely think that maybe I'm on the other side of like where Hampton's hype is going.
50:55I think he likes, you know, kind of what you said, like him being over Gentry is I think when, you know,
51:02in that high of a player, I think that's when I think people need to pump their brakes.
51:08I think especially before and after his injury, he didn't have like any sort of like special rookie season by any metric.
51:15And I think one of the scariest parts, and obviously this could change if you have bringing in a coach that is
51:22specific, specifically runs zone running schemes, right. And they drafted for that.
51:25But his splits between running zone concepts and running, you know, man or gap running concepts are much worse.
51:31I mean, he was, his yards per carry drops almost two yards when it's, when it was zone concepts, he was, he
51:38would be ranked 49 under 50 running backs in the league last year.
51:42His success rate drops to 38.9%, which would be 49th in the league.
51:46So there's, his stats look very, two completely different tales when he was running zone last year.
51:51Now, obviously that could be completely different now with McDaniel coming in to run a specifically zone style offensive run and drafting for that.
51:59Maybe the, just, you know, the players that didn't, didn't work.
52:02But if, you know, for whatever reason, those zone runs are not Hampton strength and he could be in trouble.
52:08Right. Cause I mean, McDaniel has run some of the highest zone run schemes in the NFL when he was in Miami as the head coach.
52:17So, and I think it's just a, like, I guess what you were saying about it being the best situation in NFL.
52:23I think that's part of what's also almost like double counting, um, for Hampton here to, to bolster him up.
52:30Like, um, we, I think we still have to see it.
52:33We have to see it from the offense. We all love McDaniel, um, in terms of what he did for HN.
52:40I don't know if, you know, Hampton is the same type of profile of, uh, running back as HN to do some of those same things.
52:48Um, and even when HN was there, he also used a second running back in, in, uh, most are right when he got all those touchdowns.
52:56So what if all of a sudden, um, uh, you know, somebody else emerges, I don't think, uh, is Vidal still there?
53:03He is. Right. So I don't know, but you know, I don't think Monty Vidal just goes away after the year he
53:09had, he had a pretty, uh, decent year spelling Hampton.
53:12Um, you know, we've seen Keaton Mitchell have a role even when Derrick Henry was there, even if it was just a
53:19change of pace back in, um, a receiving back.
53:22So, you know, some of those receptions that Jeff was talking about, um, could it be going, uh, Mitchell's way.
53:28So I, I think it's not as clear and cut dry, like as some of the other, um, you know, top end
53:35running backs like Gentry, for example, I don't think we were projecting anybody to be taking any touches away from Gentry Gibbs, um, B.
53:43John now that Algier is gone. So I think that, you know, it wouldn't be too surprising if Kimani Vidal and Keaton
53:49Mitchell, at least at the beginning until, you know, maybe Hampton kind of established himself and dominated.
53:55Maybe that's training camp. Maybe that's OTAs had more of a role than people are expecting.
54:00And you know, the, the hype that there was does not, um, necessarily reach the levels that everybody's hoping for.
54:06Well, you know what, man, you're, you're raining on my praise.
54:09Not going to ruin my day. Cause I'm, I'm still going to be peeking through the curtains, looking for Amari Hampton, like John Harbaugh all day, every day.
54:18I can't wait. You know, Amari Hampton, big breakout year for, for me.
54:22And, uh, you can jump on the bandwagon when we get there, Jose.
54:26So, all right, man, go ahead and, uh, let's go into Shev's third breakout here.
54:31I'm going to go hand and glove with Jose.
54:34I took, you took the wide receiver in Tennessee.
54:36I'm taking the quarterback and I mean, as a Tennessee fan, it feels good to actually feel like we've got the quarterback,
54:43the quarterback situation figured out for once in my life.
54:46Uh, besides, you know, Steve McNair or, you know, the ghost of Ryan Tannehill for a couple of years, it was almost really cool.
54:54So, so my breakout is going to be Cameron Ward.
54:57So weeks 11 to 17, we, obviously we give, we give players a reprieve for the first few, especially quarterbacks, the first few weeks of season.
55:05And with Cameron Ward, it was, it was ridiculously bad because Calvin Ridley forgot how to catch the football because we were
55:12dependent on Alec Aoman or Alec Aoman and the catching Canuck who, Hey, loved him as a prospect, but I did not
55:19plan on him playing a significant, you know, a significant role in our target share year one.
55:24Okay. And then you're bringing along Van Jefferson and we couldn't figure out how to use Chica Conquo and, you know, Chameer DK was getting gadget reps.
55:32So all that said, once the dust kind of settled and Cam was like, okay, cool.
55:37Cool. So you want me to make chicken salad out of this chicken, whatever that you just gave me.
55:43Cool. I'll do that. League best 10 to one touchdown to interception ratio weeks, 11 to 17, you know, six to the
55:50deep throws had a 61% first read target share.
55:53That was good for 18. That number, Hey, those are rookie numbers.
55:57We got to get those numbers up. And that's exactly what happens.
56:00And that's exactly why you go get Wondell Robinson.
56:03That's why you go get a Carnell Tate at pick four.
56:06That's why you hire Brian day ball. So now the benefit, all the benefit that Jackson dart was given for his rookie season.
56:14Now we're going to get an actual adult in the room to call plays that little ball, shiny head.
56:20I promise you, if we can get to 10 minutes this year, I will kiss, I will kiss Brian day ball on the top of his head.
56:28So I am thrilled about the way that it looks.
56:31I mean, this is with no one being able to get open.
56:35So he was holding the ball, taking a lot of sacks.
56:38Our offensive line wasn't as solid and he's made the adjustments.
56:42And the one thing that you've heard, Kim would say in the OTA press conferences is just how the offense has easy buttons built in for him.
56:50One of which being Carnell Tate, another being Wondell Robinson, Tony Pollard is still there and he's fully recovering.
56:56He was at four, six to carry and a thousand 80 or 80 rushing yards last year.
57:01Uh, that's after basically not being able to run the ball for the first seven weeks of the season.
57:07So 19 throwaways, because you didn't have Carnell Tate and Wondell Robinson out there and Calvin Ridley, once he got hurt and
57:14just, you know, I think Calvin really is retired and just not told everybody else yet.
57:19So, you know, 19 throwaways, second only to Caleb Williams, who was at 30 in this, in that same, that same, you
57:26know, eight weeks, seven week stretch or whatever. So I think Kim Ward, this is bullish signal.
57:31I have him ranked the highest amongst, uh, me, Casey and Jeremiah, my cohost on the FF dynasty.
57:37I have him ranked the highest because I think that, I think that this is an easy, I mean, the talent, like watching football.
57:44That's what I base. I like, I base everything in like watching, watching players play and then being like, Hey, can I quantify this with numbers?
57:52And like, Kim just does things that take your breath away.
57:55So it's my homes. I'm not saying that he's my homes because he's not tied to one of the greatest coaches of all time.
58:03Yeah. Brian Day ball might be that. I don't know.
58:06Maybe I'm a little bit. No, I mean, we know he's not that, but he can call plays coordinator face, whatever you want to call it.
58:14So with cam Ward, I'm extremely, I'm extremely bullish because he stared down quite literally the most difficult schedule for, you know,
58:21for, for any team in NFL history. That was a, that had the number one pick and he outperformed those expectations.
58:27If you actually watched him play or you can just take the spreadsheet around and be like, no, I'll just look at
58:34his air net yards per attempt and decide whether or not he's good with football that way.
58:40So yeah. Cam Ward's my guy here. Yeah. I mean, I think that the, the, what you're talking about, like watching football,
58:46you, you saw the progression, especially like we always talk about the bi-weeks being important for rookies to make those changes at like skill positions.
58:54But you saw that from him, like you quoted from 11 week, 11 to 17.
58:59I mean, he only had one pick at the beginning of the first week, well, eight, nine games.
59:04It was a pick a game almost his sacks that he was taking also greatly improved, right?
59:10He was taking like six sacks and mold six, five sacks in multiple games.
59:14His most sacks he took was four. There's some games where he wasn't even sacked at all.
59:19Right. Obviously that has something to do with the offensive line, but for rookie quarterbacks, holding onto the ball too long is a problem.
59:27And I think you saw the development in Cam Ward.
59:30I mean, playing quarterback in the NFL is not easy.
59:33Cam Ward came out. I don't think he was touted as like some, you know, elite level, like I guess not elite
59:40level, but I'm talking about like when Joe Burrow came out or Trevor Lawrence came out or et cetera, et cetera, right?
59:47Like these players that we know, these guys are going to go into the hall of fame.
59:52We already know. And we've seen with Trevor Lawrence, it took him some time to, to get adjusted and find the right coach and find the right situation.
60:01So. Um, I definitely think that Cam Ward, you know, I mean, I'm calling out Tate as a breakout.
60:07I'm sure hope for that to happen. Cam Ward has to play well.
60:11Somebody has got to get him the ball, no matter how much she can catch it.
60:16So I definitely hope that Cam Ward is taking that step.
60:19I can see it. You saw it progressing. Um, you'd hope he can get a little bit more rushing.
60:25Uh, I know that's not his like Jackson are like his calling card, but you know, he is a bigger frame.
60:31Um, when you were talking about the OTA news, I thought you were going to talk about that.
60:37He, uh, dropped 10 pounds. I don't know why that's that sometimes those sleeper notifications, the things that makes, you know, pop up.
60:44I'm like, why is that that important? But I guess they thought it was important to mention that he said he dropped 10 pounds because he's eating better.
60:53I'm like, all right, man, like sure. But, uh, um, no, but it's better than, you know, Caleb Williams gaining 10 pounds, right?
61:00Oh, I mean, I did. I was like, I was trying to figure out if those were AI, man.
61:06Talk about like, is it AI? I was like, is that real?
61:10What happened? I mean, Chicago has got one of the best food scenes, but damn.
61:14Um, but no, yeah, I'm in, I think, I think there's definitely reasons to be positive.
61:19Um, it was a train wreck with the coaching staff and everything that was going on there.
61:25And, um, every arrow is just pointing up the coaching, uh, pointing up the help that they've gotten him in the wide receiver room is pointing up.
61:33So it, it should only get better. And if Cam Ward can develop with Daywell, I think, um, you know, it's wheels
61:40up for that offense in that team. Yeah. I love the cam word.
61:44I'm huge on cam word. I think probably the most underrated aspect from him and what doesn't show up unless you watch
61:51the film is just his presence in the pocket.
61:53He is, he just has a feel for it.
61:56You can tell. And as a rookie stepping up into the pocket, making the throws is it shows that he has, you
62:03know, he has the skill to play this position.
62:06And I think the one thing that really sold me last year watching was the, it was late in the season, the
62:13throw he'd stepped up out of the pocket, moved up in.
62:16And as he's falling forward, he throws the ball sidearm almost directly sideways to his wide receiver.
62:21I think it ended up being an incomplete pass because he touched the ground before, you know what I'm talking about?
62:28Yes, of course. I know I'm a real Titans fan, bro.
62:31I'm not playing around with you. That, that play, it, it felt really special to me and it felt like, like a real playmaker.
62:39And even though it was an incomplete pass, just having the presence to know where your receiver is as you're stepping up
62:46and then to have the ability to make that kind of throw to your receiver.
62:50It did feel Mahomesian to me, like, like you're saying, Shev.
62:54So I love the call out. I can't wait to see what we get from Cam Ward here in 2026, but let's keep moving on here.
63:02Jose, why don't you go ahead and shout out your third breakout here, man?
63:06Yeah. For my last one, it's, it's a running back.
63:09Um, it's, I had a bit of a tough time deciding who I wanted to go with.
63:15Ultimately I landed on quit Sean Judkins. Um, I think I'm just going to, you know, look at the rookie numbers, although
63:21his yards per carry were not the greatest and kind of just, uh, bank on that.
63:26He's kind of going to get a lot of the touches.
63:30He already got a ton of, um, touches when he was there.
63:34Uh, and he kind of has two breakout ankles first, right?
63:37He already had touchdown equity. They seemed like he was the goal line back when the, you know, scarce opportunities that he,
63:44they had to, um, score touchdowns, you know, he had seven rushing scores, um, playing for the Browns who, I mean, maybe
63:51that was all seven touchdowns they scored. I don't know.
63:54Um, second his, he was pretty involved in the passing game, although he didn't profile as like a huge, um, uh, receiving target, right?
64:01He had 36 targets as a rookie, which is not, you know, anything crazy, but it's definitely, I think more than people
64:08were expecting, especially when they also drafted Samson and, um, with the other running backs that were there, I think, um, he's just the best running back.
64:16And if the offense could take a step, if they can figure out who the quarterback is, apparently, um, you know, to
64:23Sean Watson now is, is, uh, according to whatever reports reading the playbook, taking on great with the new coach.
64:29I don't know what to think there or believe, but, um, I'm just going to bank on that Judkins is a good
64:36player and that we, um, liked his profile prospect.
64:39And if the Browns offense could just be slightly better than all, it would only get better for Judkins who already had
64:46a pretty decent year before the injury. I think that's also, um, the last bit of concern is his injury.
64:52So, um, but I think that's kind of baked into what his value is.
64:56I think a lot of people are not necessarily, um, fully bought in on Judkins.
65:01They're not, um, thinking that, you know, he's going to be the breakout.
65:05I think a lot of people obviously are leaning towards Hampton and looking at Gentie and other, um, running backs from that, um, class.
65:13And I think Judkins is kind of being forgotten.
65:15So I think for Valley that you could get from him, I think he's, uh, a decent breakout candidate.
65:21What do you, uh, what go ahead, man. Yeah.
65:24So this is the, this is the original, this is the origin of the seminar, this player specifically.
65:30So Jose, I don't know if you want to be best friends, but I don't know if I'm going to give you a choice, bud.
65:37All right. Like I, so I, I watched Quen Sean Junkin as an 18 year old freshman at Ole Miss.
65:44And I just started counting down the time to where he could enter into the NFL.
65:49I have been, I have been ridiculously excited about Quen Sean Junkins as an NFL player.
65:54And we were seeing that with no train, basically no training camp, like no ramp up just, Hey brother, we don't know
66:00if you're going to be like, if you're just going to be like, have freedom.
66:05Okay. That's the baseline. And then he goes from that to like, Oh yeah, I'm going to play football and I'm going
66:12to be real good at it too. So the origin of, you know, the origin of my love for Quen Sean Junkins goes back to 2023.
66:20And then somebody asked me about him on a podcast and I, one, I prefer him to Travion Henderson.
66:26And I honestly, I still kind of prefer him to Travion Henderson.
66:30It's just that Travion Henderson is in so much more of a positive environment that we can project, you know, you know,
66:36offensive, offensive utility instead of futility, like that you have to kind of do with the Browns.
66:42And so somebody asked me about him and I was like, yeah, when I watch Quen Sean Junkins play football, I want
66:49to, I want to, I want to build things with my hands.
66:52I want to turn power tools on. I'm just standing here bricked up in the cement aisle about Quen Sean Junkins and nobody seems to care.
67:00So that's where the cement aisle thing came from.
67:03So I absolutely love this call out Jose. I just could not be more excited about talking about Quen.
67:09I'll never get tired of talking about Quen Sean Junkins.
67:12Just as a, like, I don't know what the word I'm looking for here, but just so y'all know, this wasn't like
67:19pandering to chef since he's our, I've never had a conversation with chef.
67:23J-Mac was the one that, you know, talked, got chef on the show.
67:27We've never had, I mean, I've watched chef's content, but like, just know that this was not pandering to, uh, our hosts,
67:34our, our third hosts or our, um, our guest here just completely lined up that, uh, you know, this way just, you
67:41know, and that we became best friends. Like that's, that's all I'm walking away with this podcast with now.
67:47Did we just become best friends? Exactly. I do.
67:50I, so I'm dead like serious. Like, I, I mean, I, yeah, this is my friend.
67:54I didn't see the show sheet until we were live.
67:58So I, you know, I put together my, like my own notes and stuff, but I was, yeah, when I saw that,
68:04I was like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That makes me real excited.
68:08Oh yes. Thank you for that. I don't feel like we get to talk about, I don't feel like we talk about Quen Sean Junkins enough.
68:17I don't know for sure because we can't see below Jose's chest, but I'm pretty sure his pants were off when you
68:23were talking about how many shares of, uh, uh, George Pickens you had, because he is a huge George Pickens believer.
68:30And I, I am the detractor on this podcast.
68:33I, um, I think he gets in his own way mentally, which is, you know, why I like when you call, you
68:40know, gospel George for a Carnell Tate, like that gets me excited because I like George Pickens talent.
68:45I do, but I just can't, I can't buy into it because I know that it's just volatile when he's on the
68:52field, but Oh yeah, man, dude, he is crazy as a cat in the room for the rocket.
68:58Like I fully acknowledge that I like for, for a couple of years, the first couple of years I tried to ignore
69:04it and just be like, Oh, that's just, Oh, just couple of just God, just being a dude.
69:10And it was like, Oh no, he's actually crazy.
69:13Okay. So we got to factor that in good thing that we got the ceiling outcome.
69:18So at least we can sell for like close to what he's worth.
69:22So I get it. I totally get it. No, that's good.
69:25Yeah. And then just my quick thoughts on Judkins here.
69:28I love the call out too. I'm all in on Judkins.
69:32I think he is greatly underrated in, in the rankings right now.
69:35Like, I think he should probably going around like RB seven, RB eight in rankings.
69:40And I think he's probably more around like RB 12 or 13 at this point.
69:45I love the call out this, this, this is a dude.
69:48When we talk about the tale of two seasons, like we were talking about with Tyler Warren, people forget how he, that
69:55middle of the season happened for him because I think it was the first two or three games that he didn't end
70:02up playing, but man, he, he was really good.
70:05And I'm not really concerned about the injury all that much.
70:08I think he has a good season. I think he, especially too, they invested in that offensive line.
70:14And I think it's going to be a lot better.
70:17I honestly think the Browns are just going to surprise people this year with their offense.
70:22If they can get even halfway decent quarterback play from one of their seven quarterbacks, I think it'll be okay for them.
70:29So you wish they had like some sort of morph, like if they just combined all of them, they, they like the power Rangers.
70:36Yeah. Like, like a morph super, for a quarterback for the Browns, you could get like one decent guy to play quarterback.
70:43That'd be great. Hopefully they figure that out sometime soon, but until then let's talk about my last breakout here.
70:49And this one, you know, guys, I, I didn't really feel comfortable calling him out as a breakout, but I'm just going
70:56with my heart here and, and what I think is actually going to happen.
71:00And that's Elijah Waffle House, Surratt is a Surratt or Surratt.
71:04I don't know. Let's just call him Waffle House.
71:06He was a favorite prospect of mine for this year, man, his career in college, 44 touchdowns.
71:12This is the most out of any of the other wide receivers coming in this year.
71:17I think that's even more than Tanner Kozio who had like, like 20 touchdowns in a season or something like that.
71:23But 179 first downs. Also, this dude has a nose for the chains.
71:27That's a good for a 12 and a half percent first down per route run, 23% target per route run.
71:34And then zero point, I'm sorry, 2.6 yards per route run.
71:37Those are great analytics coming in. Honestly, one of the better analytics of, of all these, the prospects coming in.
71:43And I just think that it's a great fit with the Ravens.
71:47Also, I think a lot of people assume Declan Doyle is going to be like a Ben Johnson imitation, but he had
71:54six years under Sean Payton before his one year with Ben Johnson.
71:57So I'm expecting more Payton than Johnson, which to me is going to lean less on 12 personnel.
72:03You know, Sean Payton's offenses have been less than 15% 12 personnel over two years, which is important because it's conducive to a slot role.
72:11And there's been a lot of smoke for Surratt to be in that big slot role for the Ravens, which is what has me so interested in him.
72:19Now, even before I liked him as a prospect, we have Matt Harmon saying that he thinks Surratt would be very good in that big slot role.
72:28When we see these guys that come out that don't separate all that well, a lot of times is when they succeed
72:35in the NFL is because they get put in the slot, like Arashi Rice or, um, oh man, I'm blanking.
72:41Who was the Pittsburgh guy that Juju Smith Schuster?
72:44Thank you. Um, yeah, he had, uh, we're talking back of Surratt now, 83.3% success rate versus zone coverage.
72:50Second best in the class. They drafted also Jacoby Lane ahead of Elijah Surat, but he's, you know, the more prototypical outside X receiver.
72:57And then you have the smoke of the general manager to Costa saying that Elijah Surratt is really, really good on the
73:04inside, even though his profile has extensive use on the outside, that just means he's multifunctional.
73:09And I think in this offense, a Sean Payton offense, there's usually a big guy in the middle of the field that's stretching the seams.
73:17And maybe that's, Andrew's here, but I think it could be Elijah Surratt.
73:21He has a great profile to do that. I think he can create a lot of space with the ball in his hands while he's in motion.
73:29He's not out there going to, you know, breaking a lot of tackles.
73:33And that was more of the Omar Cooper Jr.
73:36role, uh, in the Hoosiers, but you've seen it from him that he can have, uh, a big role in the intermediate of the field.
73:44He's really good on slants and out routes. And I just, I think, I think if, if the role goes to where
73:51he is and he's on the field 80% of the time in that role, I think we're going to see a lot
73:57of good things from him because he's twitching enough to sell the roads and sell the routes with great hands and just not slow either.
74:05You know, a four, four, five 40 at the pro day.
74:09It, all of these things lean into that role of a big slot.
74:13And I just, I can't, I can't get off of him, especially two cents the draft capital that you have to put into him.
74:20You can get them in the third round. Sometimes I've been smashing him in the late seconds of my rookie drafts.
74:27I have him in a ton of places and I'm, I'm really looking forward to what we see from him here.
74:33So what do you guys think about it? Shev give me your thoughts.
74:37He was a guy that I was, I kind of had earmarked.
74:41I wanted a different landing spot than Baltimore just because, just because of work traditionally, like Zay Flowers has been the only
74:48receiver outside of Hollywood Brown that, you know, Hollywood Brown had 140 targets at one time and turned in like a top 15 season once.
74:55And so Zay Flowers has been the iteration that has succeeded.
74:59And I think that with Declan Doyle, I think that he will thrive.
75:03I think that this is an interesting notion because I do believe Mark Andrews is done.
75:08And so you need someone to command and dominate the middle of the field to make it easy, you know, to make it easy for Lamar.
75:16And they hadn't, they haven't had that, you know, since Mark Andrews suffered the car accident and then all, you know, the
75:23ankle injury, he just hasn't been the same guy.
75:26So for me, I think that this is an opportunity for them to kind of rebuild, rebuild their passing tree into something that's more wide receiver centric.
75:34And you have, you have the utility where we saw Elijah Surat succeed almost exclusively outside as, you know, with Omar Cooper
75:41pretty much dominating the slot in 2025. So those, we, everybody talked about the back shoulders and then that became a narrative
75:48about how Elijah Surat can't separate, but he's also a ball winner and you have insane career production, 44 touchdowns for a wide receiver is absurd.
75:56And you could say, Oh, it came to the lower level.
75:59James Madison made the college football playoff this year.
76:02So they were gearing up. Okay. So that's not a program.
76:05That's not a program that you can just turn your nose up at.
76:09So I like this call here. I, I was really disappointed just because, you know, you kind of helmet scout and it's
76:16like scouting Tennessee wide receivers, scouting Baltimore wide receivers for fantasy utility just hasn't really lent itself to something.
76:22But if you're going to make a bet, be early to this party because there could be a changing of the guard.
76:29If Lamar starts to run this, because I mean, we saw the report where his hamstring just wasn't the same after the injury.
76:36We know that he can win as a, as a quarterback from the pocket.
76:40I mean, he had the highest passer rating season of all time just two years ago and through 40 touchdowns and four picks.
76:48So if that changes, then yes, this is a wonderful call.
76:51If it doesn't change, then it costs you nothing.
76:54He's, he's going in the third or the fourth round of your rookie draft sometimes.
76:58So if you have bullet signal, like, you know, like brother Machado here and you're like, Hey, I like this.
77:05I want to be early to the party. This is a guy kind of like a run that gasped in with me
77:12last year where you can load up. And then all of a sudden there's a guy who's worth who you paid a third for that.
77:19Once we get some real good signal five weeks in the season, you could sell for sometimes for a late first, probably
77:26like early seconds, especially if he's, you know, if he's, if he's performing, people get real, real hard up mail pattern, Ricky
77:33Hornets, isn't just for the draft thing. It's during the season.
77:36Yeah. If it lasts more than four hours, call a doctor though.
77:40So yes. Yeah. All right. What are your thoughts, man?
77:43Yeah. I mean, I think we've been locked in on Surratt for a while.
77:48I do agree with Shev that during the draft, you were hoping for something a little bit better, a little bit more
77:54of a clear situation, but this is the post Harbaugh era.
77:58I think we do need to kind of rethink some of the things we think about the Ravens going forward.
78:04Harbaugh was there for a long time. He was running the show, even though he wasn't the offensive, you know, my mind,
78:11but he was still the head coach. Everything ran through him.
78:14So I think for Lamar, for everybody there, we're going to have to rethink and see what, what's going to happen now
78:21with the new coaching staff and everything that you were bringing up.
78:25So I, we've liked Elijah Surratt, his profile. He was one of our favorite wide receivers outside of kind of the big three or four.
78:33So I've been in the same spot with you.
78:35Anytime, any chance I get late second, third round, I'm sniping Elijah Surratt, just especially in this sort of rookie draft where
78:42there is not, you know, a ton of players to be super excited about.
78:47If there's somebody that you are, you know, getting the male pattern horniness for, they might as well, you know, shoot your
78:53shot, take the, take the guy that you're excited about instead of just somebody who you don't, you know, you have no, no interest in whatsoever.
79:01Yeah. I mean like, you know, like girls are cool and all, but you ever had a third round rookie pick that
79:08you, you know, that you, that you just hit on and now you can get a first four or he's just performing
79:15in your lineups and you got them across like 20 leagues.
79:19Hey, there are very few feelings that exceed that.
79:21Like, like John Hamm in a club. Yeah. Yeah.
79:24Exactly. It's so good when you can do that.
79:27All right. That feels like a good point to end on here.
79:31That was a great episode. Chef, thanks so much for coming on, man.
79:35That was a ton of fun. Why don't you go ahead and shout out where the rest of the listeners can, can
79:42find all your, your great content and information you're putting out there, man.
79:46Oh man. I appreciate, I appreciate the opportunity. This is, it's always awesome.
79:50Right now we're getting into, we're getting into trying to parse together what it's going to look like.
79:55Uh, you know, we've gone through rookie, you know, rookie evaluations and now we got landing spots and stuff.
80:01So all that said, Hey, you can find everything that I'm doing over at the FF dynasty, uh, and the FFD fantasy.
80:08We've got the redraft side that I do that I handle primarily during the season.

80:37Like I will, I will never say anything cross to you as long as you don't say anything crazy to me.
80:43I love it. Hey man. Yeah. Again, thank you, chef.
