Aaron Rodgers

NegativeValue31:51

Davis Mattek indicates Aaron Rodgers is reaching ADP and must be taken now if interested, stating 'If I want Rodgers, I probably got to take him here.' Rodgers was rostered as a quarterback in an FFPC main event league, indicating the source views him as a viable late-round selection in competitive formats.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

NegativeValue0:33

Considered as a draft option at the 1.8 pick in DraftKings Best Ball; the source posed St. Brown as a potential selection at this early position but ultimately chose Jonathan Taylor instead, suggesting St. Brown remains in the conversation for early-round picks but may not be the source's preferred target at this spot.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeRole12:39

The source considers Brian Thomas Jr. as a potential draft pick in this spot, offering it as an alternative to the Tyler Warren–Jonathan Taylor pairing.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeInjury13:00

Davis Mattek reports hearing from an anonymous Discord source that Chris Rodriguez has a Jones fracture, though Mattek expresses skepticism about the rumor's veracity. Mattek notes this was the first time this injury report appeared on his channel. If true, it would likely prompt the Broncos to bring in a replacement running back.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveBust10:24

Davis Mattek explicitly rejected DJ Moore as a draft target, stating 'I'm not going to. I'm not taking DJ Moore' and later acknowledged 'I happily just clicked the guy who I don't think is any good,' indicating strong conviction that Moore is overvalued or underperforming relative to his ADP. Though Moore was available at pick 56 as an ADP value, Mattek passed due to his negative assessment of the player's quality.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

NegativeRole31:36

Dallas Goedert is selected as the tight end on the source's draft team roster. Mentioned as part of source's tight end roster construction alongside Kelce and Freiermuth; source considers whether a fourth tight end is needed after securing these three options. Rostered as a tight end in an FFPC main event league, indicating the source views Dallas Goedert as a viable mid-round selection in competitive formats.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

PositiveValue27:14

Davis Mattek is taking Daniel Jones as a stacking pick with two cold receivers, citing team importance and stack construction as the rationale for the selection despite acknowledging this may not be the conventional approach. Jones was rostered as a quarterback in an FFPC main event league, indicating the source views him as a viable late-round selection in competitive formats.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeRole5:54

Named as an example of a premium wide receiver option when drafting from the 3rd, 4th, or 5th pick. Davis Mattek groups Chase with Nico Collins and Puka Nacua as part of a viable wide receiver-heavy start strategy for early-round picks, suggesting these receivers are appropriate targets when early running back selections are made.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveValue15:15

Davis Mattek strongly prefers Jalen Hurts over Trevor Lawrence at the quarterback position, stating there is no universe where he would take Lawrence first; Mattek notes Hurts is a slight ADP faller, suggesting he is undervalued relative to his talent. Mattek is a strong believer in Hurts' ability to succeed regardless of circumstances, including the transition to more under-center play under the new coordinator. Mattek argues Hurts is underrated by the fantasy community and better than most analysts admit; under-center play makes sense for a running QB to execute bootleg concepts. Hurts was selected as the quarterback anchor on Mattek's draft team roster.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeValue7:45

Davis Mattek selected Williams citing ADP value and describing him as an 'alpha running back start' on DraftKings that exemplifies 'pure masculine performance in Best Ball.' Mattek noted 2024 production of 9 points per game with 54% snap share, 14% juke rate, and 3.7 yards per carry, though acknowledged 2025 decline with zero RB1 finishes in the back half despite full-time role and reduced passing game involvement. Despite concerns about 2025 performance, Mattek preferred Williams over Jaylen Waddle due to running back scarcity and the risk of falling behind at the position.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeValue7:45

Davis Mattek considered Waddle as an alternative to Javonte Williams at the same draft position, noting that while Waddle offered 'a better structural fit,' he preferred Williams due to the scarcity of running back production and the risk of falling behind at the position.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveValue0:33

Selected at 1.8 in DraftKings Best Ball. Davis Mattek is very underweight on Jonathan Taylor across DraftKings and Underdog platforms, making this pick a deliberate strategy shift to increase exposure. Mattek states: 'I am very underweight on DraftKings on Jonathan Taylor. So let's switch it up a little bit. I don't really I I honestly don't really take much of Jonathan Taylor. I don't take him much on on Underdog or on DraftKings.' This suggests Taylor is undervalued relative to Mattek's typical allocation and represents a buy opportunity at this ADP. Taylor is rostered as a primary running back on Mattek's draft team alongside Kenneth Walker, indicating strong conviction in both backs as early-round selections.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveRole20:12

Davis Mattek drafted Jonathan Brooks and explicitly decided to ignore the running back position for the rest of the draft (until round 17), indicating confidence in Brooks as a workhorse back and willingness to wait on secondary RB depth. Brooks was rostered as a running back in both a casual draft recap and an FFPC main event league, signaling the source views him as a viable mid-round selection in competitive formats.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveRole18:09

Davis Mattek explicitly chose Josh Downs as a draft pick and set up an Indianapolis offensive stack with Michael Pittman Jr., indicating confidence in Downs' role and correlation value in the Colts offense. Downs was rostered as a wide receiver on Mattek's draft team roster and in an FFPC main event league, indicating Mattek views him as a viable mid-round selection in competitive formats.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveValue32:32

Davis Mattek identifies Herbert as one of his two highest quarterback exposures in 2026 drafts, stating 'Herbert and Mahomes, my two highest quarterback exposures. I love it,' signaling elevated draft priority and strong conviction in the pairing.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeValue1:47

Mentioned as a potential draft consideration in the early rounds; the source expressed interest in Jefferson as an alternative option but did not ultimately select him, indicating Jefferson remains in the conversation for early-round picks but was not the preferred choice at that moment in the draft.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveInjury19:01

Davis Mattek received confirmation from a chat member (MD2949) who claims to be friends with Keenan Allen's wife, stating that Keenan Allen is 100% playing in 2026. Mattek has been spreading this rumor but expresses some skepticism about the source's reliability. Mattek selected Allen in round 20 of an FFPC main event league draft, indicating he views Keenan Allen as a viable late-round target in competitive formats.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveValue0:43

Paired with Jonathan Taylor as part of a running back-heavy draft strategy. Davis Mattek explicitly endorses this pairing: 'Taking the Jonathan Taylor Kenneth Walker start all day,' indicating strong conviction in both backs as early-round selections. Walker is rostered as a core running back piece in Mattek's FFPC main event league, suggesting Mattek views Walker as worthy of early-to-mid round selection and a key component of a four-running-back team composition.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveValue8:41

Davis Mattek targeted Jackson at pick 56 as part of a stacking strategy following Zay Flowers selection, planning to 'sneak Lamar Jackson to 56,' suggesting Jackson is available at a reasonable ADP and represents a value opportunity when paired with a Ravens receiver.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeRole17:58

Davis Mattek selected Michael Pittman Jr. as a draft pick to set up a stacking strategy with Josh Downs, creating an Indianapolis offensive correlation.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeRole5:54

Named as an example of a premium wide receiver option when drafting from the 3rd, 4th, or 5th pick. Davis Mattek groups Collins with Jamar Chase and Puka Nacua as part of a viable wide receiver-heavy start strategy for early-round picks, suggesting these receivers are appropriate targets when early running back selections are made.

Insight page

Odell Beckham

NegativeValue40:13

Mattek expresses strong skepticism about Odell Beckham Jr.'s ADP in 2026 DraftKings drafts, calling it 'preposterous' and questioning who would draft him at his current price, suggesting he is significantly overvalued in the market.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeRole12:42

Davis Mattek selected Parker Washington as a draft pick as part of an all-vegetables team construction strategy. Washington was rostered as a wide receiver in an FFPC main event league, indicating Mattek views him as a viable mid-round selection in competitive formats.

Insight page

Parris Campbell

NegativeRole31:36

Parris Campbell (P Wash) is selected as a wide receiver on the source's draft team roster.

Insight page

Pat Bryant

PositiveSleeper40:42

Mattek selects Pat Bryant as a late-round wide receiver dart, explicitly preferring him over Roman Wilson despite acknowledging Wilson's Tyreek Hill connection videos are 'pretty interesting,' indicating Bryant is Mattek's preferred late-round target at the position.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveRole38:39

Selected in draft as tight end option; source notes roster becomes 'mega stacked' after selection, indicating confidence in Freiermuth as part of a strong tight end group alongside Goedert and Kelce. Rostered as a tight end in an FFPC main event league, indicating the source views Pat Freiermuth as a viable late-round selection in competitive formats.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveValue32:32

Davis Mattek identifies Mahomes as one of his two highest quarterback exposures in 2026 drafts, stating 'Herbert and Mahomes, my two highest quarterback exposures. I love it,' signaling elevated draft priority and strong conviction in the pairing.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeRole5:54

Named as an example of a premium wide receiver option when drafting from the 3rd, 4th, or 5th pick. Davis Mattek groups Nacua with Jamar Chase and Nico Collins as part of a viable wide receiver-heavy start strategy for early-round picks, suggesting these receivers are appropriate targets when early running back selections are made.

Insight page

Skyler Bell

NegativeRole44:18

Selected as the final pick in an FFPC main event league draft; explicitly identified by the source as a hedge against DJ Moore, suggesting the source views Skyler Bell as a backup option to DJ Moore's offensive role or production.

Insight page

Travis Homer

NegativeRole44:35

Rostered as a running back in an FFPC main event league, indicating the source views Travis Homer as a viable late-round selection in competitive formats.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveBreakout29:48

Davis Mattek is increasing conviction on Travis Hunter based on recent performance or news from ship chasing, amplifying an already strong drafting interest in the player. Mattek states 'I'm even more into it right now,' signaling elevated conviction on the prospect as a draft target beyond typical volume.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeRole31:36

Travis Kelce is selected as a tight end on the source's draft team roster. Mentioned as part of source's tight end roster construction alongside Goedert and Freiermuth; source considers whether a fourth tight end is needed after securing these three options. Rostered as a tight end in an FFPC main event league, indicating the source views Travis Kelce as a core roster piece worthy of early-to-mid round selection.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeValue15:15

Davis Mattek explicitly rejects taking Trevor Lawrence over Jalen Hurts at the quarterback position, stating he cannot take Lawrence first even if it makes sense for team construction; Mattek prefers to take Hurts and hope to circle back to Lawrence later.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveValue7:37

Davis Mattek selected McBride in the third round and reported that McBride 'has been feeling very good' at this draft position, indicating strong conviction in McBride's value and role at this ADP and suggesting McBride is a preferred tight end target in the third round.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeRole12:32

Davis Mattek explicitly stated he does not love pairing Tyler Warren with Jonathan Taylor in the same draft, suggesting the combination does not align with his team construction strategy.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

PositiveValue43:26

The source views Tyreek Hill as undervalued at round 20, describing him as having 'more juice' than typical late-round options, suggesting meaningful upside relative to his draft position.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveValue8:41

Davis Mattek selected Flowers as part of a Ravens offensive stack strategy, planning to pair him with Lamar Jackson at pick 56, suggesting Flowers is a reasonable value at his ADP and fits within a game plan to stack the Ravens offense.

0:00Drafting out of the 1.8 here in the DraftKings Milly Maker, we are hopefully going to get someone that we like here.
0:06Little bit of a little bit of fun over on DraftKings, thanks to our friends over at DraftKings. Sign up over there
0:11using using code Madden if you would like. Link to that is down in the description. We are continuing our DraftKings Best Ball week, the week
0:18after DraftKings Best Ball week to be clear because I was busy in the mountains, you know? Let's let's get let's call a spade a spade. Most of us
0:27were enjoying the regular DraftKings Best Ball week. Although there are still options in the lobby for us.
0:33Who should we take here? Are we going to take St. Brown? Are we going to take Jonathan Taylor?
0:38You know what? Let's do a little bit of Jonathan Taylor. I am very underweight on DraftKings on Jonathan Taylor. So let's switch it up a little bit. I don't
0:46really I I honestly don't really take much of Jonathan Taylor. I don't take him much on on Underdog or on DraftKings. So that seems pretty
0:54appropriate to take him at the 1.8 there.
0:58Maybe we'll do a little bit of running back running back start. Maybe we'll try and do a four running back team on
1:04DraftKings. I do not do that all that often.
1:0718 roster spots, it's probably not a particularly good idea, but we we might as well. And I was pretty close there. Maybe I was
1:14kind of interested in one Mr. Justin Jefferson.
1:19But GM GM to my guy Tiger Uppercut GM GM Chimichanga 7169. Hope you guys are all having a beautiful day. I just got back
1:30from a walk.
1:32Um and I I have been saying that I'm going to stream every day until the beginning of the season. I I I probably
1:38can't promise a legitimate stream every day.
1:42Probably probably not going to happen every day, but it's going to be pretty darn close. I mean the plan would be to
1:49stream on the weekends, which I traditionally have not done, but we we got to we got to rush to the season, man. It's it's no joke. The the
1:58NFL season is coming up. So, Liam messaged me and said that he was going Liam wanted
2:07to stream with me on Friday, but it he cannot do the afternoons on Friday and I can't do the morning on Friday, but
2:17hopefully there will be a chess Liam stream coming on the channel very soon. At least that is that is the the hope for my while Liam misses me. I
2:27miss Liam. Look, I like chatting ball with chess Liam because Liam will get me to think about the game in a different
2:35way.
2:36And it's just you know, it's always nice to know what that corner of the internet is thinking. Man, yeah, okay. I'm taking
2:43that start all day. Taking the Jonathan Taylor Kenneth Walker start all day.
2:48But figured might as well might as well knock a draft out here on might as well knock a draft out here
2:57on it what is it? Wednesday? Man, let me tell you getting back from vacation and then immediately going into like literally like my flight lands, I get
3:05home, I get unpacked and I have dinner and then it's time to do ADP chasing. I mean let me tell you that was that was a
3:14bit of an experience. I and I'm going to keep it real with you guys.
3:17I [snorts] did not go to the gym at 4:30 this morning. I I did not. I I said I my smoke alarm
3:26went off at 2:00 in the morning.
3:29Like the the battery was dead. So, I woke I woke up to the smoke alarm going off and I I looked at my
3:36phone. I looked at my alarm and I said brother, this is not happening. We're not doing this. So, tomorrow will be my
3:41return to the gym. Do you ever go wide receiver wide receiver start? Yeah, absolutely.
3:48Not a ton. It makes I tell you when it makes the most sense.
3:54The most sense is the when you drafted the three, the four, or the five, and you can do Jamar Chase and Nico Collins,
4:02Puka Nacua, and and things like that.
4:05That is when the You know You know what my single favorite [clears throat] start might be right now?
4:12I think Puka Bowers might be my my single favorite start. Uh grinding EPL, yes. EPL best ball supposedly coming soon. Yes, I should
4:24have taken Igbuka for the uniqueness.
4:28People people forget.
4:31I saw I saw Liam getting I saw the people teasing Liam.
4:35And you know what all the people teasing Liam have in common?
4:42They've never won Best Ball Mania.
4:45If you're not winning Best Ball Mania, how do you have the right to tease my boy Chess Liam? I don't I don't know if
4:50that works.
4:52All right, Taylor and Walker. Guess we're going to do a wide receiver here.
4:57Tell you what, Trey McBride in the third round has been feeling very good. GM GM to my guy Chris.
5:05>> [snorts] >> Chris was in the trenches sweating the World Cup with us.
5:09Have my 2026 World Cup edition Estevao Brazil shirt on right now. What do you guys What do you guys know about that?
5:19Uh all right.
5:21I mean, I definitely could take Igbuka here. I think I'm just going to be a chalk donkey here and do Igbuka or
5:27Flowers. I think they're I think they're both fine. Ooh. Manzambi is unranked in EPL ranks. All right, there we go.
5:37We are locked in. I I'm assuming that that contest will probably launch tomorrow. Yeah, Zay Flowers. We're going to do Zay Flowers, and then we're going
5:46to see if we can try and sneak Lamar Jackson to 56.
5:52Ticketito I'm Brazilian GZ. Wow, news to me. I came in top 50 in the $1 World Cup.
5:59Shout out to me.
6:00They see the offensive line rankings on ETR. No, I haven't.
6:05But, I would like to I would like to take a look on those. I mean, I tell you the issue with
6:10offensive line rankings, which is that offensive lines get injured all the time.
6:16So, that's a big issue. So, you have to think about how good the reserves are.
6:20And I would imagine the correlation for preseason offensive line rankings to like real performance like PFF rankings or whatever, I would guess it's pretty
6:31bad.
6:34I would guess I would guess they're relatively low, honestly.
6:39Like, what do you guys what do you guys think correlates better?
6:42PFF running back grade to fantasy points or PFF offensive line grade to fantasy points? I mean, I would guess the PFF
6:50offensive line to like running back fantasy points is is quite high.
6:55But, I would also guess like the year-to-year stickiness of like PFF like run blocking grade or pass blocking grade, I would guess is
7:05a little low.
7:06That would that would definitely be that would definitely be my guess. So, we can obviously know who's good. You know what I can You know what I would
7:13compare it to?
7:14I would compare offensive line ranks to projecting relief pitchers in baseball.
7:24Where relief pitchers in baseball, everyone knows relief pitchers very important.
7:29You can win a ton of baseball games if you have a very good bullpen. However, relief pitcher performance year-to-year very very non-sticky.
7:39Guys who are good the year before are terrible the next year and vice versa quite often.
7:45Man, I'm definitely taking Javonte if Mr. Big D 51 does not here. I'm going to take Javonte or Jaylen Waddle here. I
7:51honestly don't even really care which one. A little bit of ADP value on Mr.
7:55Javonte Williams. Waddle Waddle probably a better structural fit, but man you just don't like getting behind at the running back position.
8:04Uh all right, well, we are going to take Javonte Williams. So this is what an alpha running back start on DraftKings looks like. You don't have
8:12to like it, but this is what uh what pure masculine performance in Best Ball feels like.
8:20The Javonte Williams thing is so fascinating because I I it's so hard for me to reconcile the
8:28player that he was in 2024 to the player that he was in 2025.
8:35I mean, 2024 nine points per game, plays in every single game 54% of the snaps.
8:42Um uh look at this, dude. 14% juke rate, 3.7 yards per carry. Actually had more targets per game in 2024 than he did in
8:522025. I I mean, it's it's insane.
8:56The game logs, I will say this.
8:59When you when you dig into the game logs a little bit, I was arguing about this with Kareem not that long ago. When you
9:05actually dive into the game logs, it's a little bit impressive than you remember.
9:09Um you know, only zero running back one finishes in the entire back half of the season. That's despite being a full-time
9:17player. Stopped being a touchdown machine. Stopped contributing really too much in the passing game.
9:25But man, I I don't know.
9:28I'm less concerned about the good, more about the bad. The Raiders offensive line killing the Gentry value. Yes, I mean now also part of that thing with the um
9:40part of with the the Gentry thing specifically, I actually uh I I actually don't agree with my guy Chirath all that
9:45often, but I I do completely agree with this, which is that the offensive line got super banged up and they were being
9:53very very poorly coached. Um like like incredibly poorly coached.
9:59So, that is that is definitely an issue for You think the Taylor Holding news is just noise? I mean, it's noise in the
10:09sense that I don't think it is going to I I just don't think it's going to impact his fantasy performance all that
10:16much. I I would be surprised.
10:18Also, why would the Colts not just pay him, you know?
10:24Do I have to take DJ Moore? I'm not going to. I'm not taking DJ Moore. Did Lamar go?
10:29Lamar went. I mean, if you are going to take DJ Moore, I guess 10 spots.
10:35All right, man. Whatever.
10:37Dipperino slurping on DJ Moore. Never never say that I am unbiased.
10:43Don't don't ever let anyone tell you that Davis Mattek is is unbiased.
10:48I I happily just clicked the guy who I don't think is any good. Well, I didn't do it I didn't do it that happily.
10:54One big change in my strategy this year compared to kind of last year. I mean, I I I very concertedly kind of did the 8% thing
11:05last year. But, one of one [clears throat] of the big changes that I'm doing this year is I actually don't have my rankings in
11:16the applet right now.
11:19Because when I have my and I have the flock tool up, right? So, I I know I know where I have guys ranked cuz I have
11:26the flock tool pulled up.
11:28So, I know where I have them ranked, but one of the issues when you have your ranks in the applet, particularly if
11:34you're doing a lot of mobile-based drafting, and I am doing a lot of mobile-based drafting, is you end up literally not seeing guys.
11:43So, like the where I have DJ Moore ranked, I might not have even seen him at 56 right there. I literally might not
11:50have even known that he was an ADP value. So, I do want to be doing I just I I I want to have more 4%
11:58exposure blankets, more 2% beach towels of guys, just cuz the the volume I'm getting in this year is completely absurd.
12:09Like the the degree to like I mean, it is July 22nd right now.
12:16I just refreshed my portfolio page on the Flock site. So, we're about to see how many total teams I have.
12:23Um I mean, Bucky is a really good pick here. If I take Bucky here, I can just about be done. I I can do five,
12:32and I can really wait. I don't love the Tyler Warren Jonathan Taylor pairing actually.
12:39Maybe I Maybe BTJ.
12:42Maybe P. Wash. You know what?
12:45Let's do Parker Washington so I can just this this this is just the all uh vegetables team.
12:51>> [snorts] >> The idea of pulling Tevin up to the Javonte range is becoming more palatable assuming you're pairing him with players
13:00anchored to the 5-6 turn. Zay Flowers and he heard from a source that C. Rod has a Jones fracture.
13:06Uh that was officially reported on this channel for the first time SAS.
13:10Want want that want that on the record.
13:13The very the very first time someone on the internet said that C. Rod has a Jones fracture was on this channel.
13:19Cuz I I I had heard that as well. I don't know if it's true, but I have heard that Chris Rodriguez does have a
13:25Jones fracture.
13:27All right, so it's July 22nd. I have 1,148 completed drafts.
13:36Between DraftKings and Underdog, I don't think all my DraftKings draft Most of my DraftKings drafts actually are not pulled in because they are not
13:48completed. Um so I have to I have to to figure that out.
13:53Uh you actually you actually don't you actually don't have to uh to change the the attribution credit because I heard it from an anonymous source in a
14:01Discord. So very likely it's not even true. I actually I honestly actually don't think it's true cuz I think if he had a Jones fracture,
14:09they would bring in another running back. If Chris Rodriguez truly had a Jones fracture in his foot, they would be one of the teams
14:17bringing in Najee Harris. They would be one of the teams bringing in uh Joe Mixon or I don't know who else
14:25Who else is a free agent running back right now?
14:29Antonio Gibson is out there.
14:33Uh who else is available?
14:35Ekeler's available, Chubb is available, Darrel Ogunbowale, Raheem Mostert, Kareem Hunt. You know what? Alexander Alexander Mattison would be the guy that
14:45they would bring in.
14:47I'm back into drafting after taking 3 years off. Well, 10 minute didn't I don't Is that true? Because didn't you didn't you win
14:58in 2024, didn't you win one of the playoff best ball contest, 10 minute?
15:05So so 2 years off.
15:09All right, we are back up.
15:12Feels like I Man, I don't I just even if it's makes sense for my team, I literally I don't think I can take
15:18Trevor Lawrence over Jalen Hurts.
15:21I I think I got to just take Jalen Hurts first and then hope to get Lawrence coming back around.
15:27There's no universe where you can take You can't. You got to take Jalen Hurts.
15:33Slight ADP faller there on Jalen Hurts.
15:36Yeah, I I just I can't look myself in the mirror if I'm taking Trevor Lawrence over Jalen Hurts.
15:45What am I doing up at this hour?
15:46Honestly, I'm just doing this instead of reading before bed. My guy, that's really all I'm doing.
15:54I finished my book that I was reading on the plane home from Utah and
16:05I I have not started a new one yet. I I kind of do that when I finish a book sometimes if I if I don't immediately
16:11know what I need to read next. I waffle on what I want to start reading and because I cuz I don't have a book
16:19right now, I've said, "Okay, I'll go I'll go stream a little a little DraftKings Best Ball week. Why not?"
16:28Makes sense you would want to hide a Javonte DJ Moore Parker Washington team in the in the late slot. Looking looking lean.
16:36You know what, seven head first off, that's very kind of you. But I I am not lean right now.
16:42I uh I I just did a two-week vacation where I didn't track a single macro. I was eating so many refined carbohydrates and
16:53sugars and and just bread.
16:58You know, I mean I was still having like eggs for breakfast and getting out and hiking and stuff, but I would guess I've
17:02not weighed myself since I got back. I would guess I gained at least 8 lb on vacation. One of those.
17:11Wow, my guy Marwan Markad with a thousand gems. I don't even know what a gem is. This is new on YouTube. I don't even know what
17:20it is.
17:22But shout out to my guy.
17:24Uh what kind of books am I into? I mean I'm I'm pretty down to read anything.
17:33I I read I mean most of what I read is like literary fiction.
17:41Like the the last the books that I the literary the literary like fiction books I've read this year. I've read Brothers Karamazov,
17:48Moby Dick, and Portnoy's Complaint. But generally in between a big book, I will read I I love detective fiction.
17:58So I read um you know Hercule Poirot novels and and things like that.
18:05I think we're going to do Michael Pittman Jr. here.
18:09Gives me another quarterback to stack. I mean I could do Mahomes Walker. Maybe I want to take Downs actually.
18:16Downs and set up the Downs thing. Yeah, let's do that. Let's take Downs and set up a little Indianapolis thing there.
18:23>> [snorts] >> Given how hard-headed Hurts appears to be on what he likes and hates, any thoughts on the new coordinator
18:32having him go more under center this year?
18:35I am just such a fan of Jalen Hurts and I am such a believer in his ability to succeed regardless of
18:44his circumstances that um I I think being under center will work fine for him.
18:51If you if you kind of think about it with uh with a running QB kind of makes sense to have them under
18:57center to get them doing like the bootleg stuff, you know?
19:01All right. Hey, my guy. I've been passing on your Keenan Allen rumor to everyone. So you better you better not be joshing me.
19:10MD2949 told us on Monday in chat he says he's friends He says he's friends with Keenan Allen's wife and that Keenan Allen is 100%
19:19playing this year. I think he's joshing me.
19:21But you never know.
19:23Crime and Punishment clears Brothers Karamazov. So I have read Crime and Punishment as well.
19:28I would say I liked Brothers Karamazov better.
19:33But Crime and Punishment also a great read.
19:38I would I would encourage anyone to read either.
19:40Thoughts on Mekhi Leamon? Love Mekhi Leamon.
19:44Think Mekhi Leamon is an underrated prospect.
19:51And I think it's also an underrated landing spot. Quite underrated landing spot actually.
19:57Jalen Hurts is just a better quarterback than anyone wants to admit. I don't I don't know why people hate Jalen Hurts.
20:03But he is a lot better than your um your favorite fantasy analyst wants to say.
20:12Do I take Brooks here and maybe just chill at four?
20:16I've got Dimes later and I've got potentially I could do like a Rodgers thing later. Yeah, let's take Brooks and then just ignore the running back
20:27position till basically like round 17.
20:30>> [snorts] >> Starting the Mistborn series.
20:35First off, love the look without the glasses, my guy.
20:39Second off, I I would say this is not a this is not a a genre that I am am real read in. I mean I've read Lord of the
20:49Rings.
20:50I guess that's really probably the only like stone cold fantasy that I've read.
20:58Uh I have not read I have not read the the Gambler.
21:04Mention this many times ago. Where's the pre-set build for auto drafts on DraftKings? Uh poof.
21:12So, you go to draftkings.com.
21:17You go to you click on NFL and you click on pre-draft rankings.
21:24There you go.
21:25And you can set your positional limits.
21:27You can do your CSV upload or download.
21:28You can apparently you can exclude players. I actually didn't know that, but I I think you have to do it on
21:33desktop. I don't think that you can do it on your phone.
21:39So, we have got Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, Zay Flowers, Javonte, DJ Moore, P Wash, Jalen Hurts, Josh Downs, and Jonathan Brooks. The quarterbacks, as
21:50expected on DraftKings, are absolutely flying off the board.
21:55So, I'm going to have to have a plan there. I am also behind at wide receiver, and this is not a great spot
22:01of the draft to need a wide receiver. I mean, I guess I could take Rashod White.
22:05Quor piece Quorum. Tell you what, there is a real Blake Corum hive out there, which is a bit surprising to me.
22:15The I I was I was not anticipating Blake Corum hive being something that I would deal with in the YouTube comments
22:21this year. He's He's fine.
22:24He's like very fine, but >> [clears throat] >> Okay.
22:29Uh I could also nab my first tight end here, Kincaid, with the teammate correlation.
22:35Kelsey is who I have ranked higher.
22:38Could do a Nicks backstack.
22:42You know what, let's just take Goddard.
22:43Let's just get our stack in here.
22:45Got enough ADP value on this team. I can just go ahead and nab Goddard at pick 113.
22:53Oh, shout out to my boy Jeffern.
22:55Hey, whatever the gems are, thumbs up to you guys. Shout out shout out to my gem boys.
23:04People are saying Brandon Sanderson is one of Yes, I I have heard this. I probably am not the target audience
23:14for fantasy fiction, but I also I will never dog on someone for reading.
23:26You know, there's there's this thing kind of in in the the nerdier corners of the internet where uh people
23:36they they hate on people who are reading uh like uh What What are they What are they reading? They're reading like
23:45They call it They call it book slop.
23:48They They call it They call it book slop. And I'm like, "Hey, man, you know what's you know what's good? Reading. Just any anything where
23:56people are are reading is is generally good."
24:00Tikitito 67 gems. 67 GM GM Hey, I did read the Dan Brown books. I
24:12will say that. That is That is some book slop that I've engaged with. I I I remember I remember um I took a trip with my
24:20cousins to California. I must have been about 11 or 12 years old whenever uh The Da Vinci Code came out. And I read The
24:28Da Vinci Code on the way out there. And And it is book slop. Don't get me wrong.
24:32The Da Vinci Code is book slop, but I loved it at the time.
24:38Uh tsk tsk tsk Being that your focus is somewhat skewed due to video, what is the best you've done or money you've made when streaming
24:45a video you've posted?
24:48Uh phew.
24:49I mean, I I streamed all 150 of my big boards last year.
24:56And I finished So, that would have been my best ever recorded one.
25:03Um man, you know what? There's nothing I really want to do here. So, I'm just going to take Kelsi, who is the ADP
25:09value and gives me a second tight end.
25:14>> [snorts] >> Yes, Harry Potter's great read.
25:20What a bummer. What a bummer that J.K.
25:22Rowling is this just like totally divisive figure as an adult. Cuz I did I like those books. I mean, come on. Who
25:28didn't Everyone read Harry Potter and and I guess what? When did When did Prisoner of Azkaban come out? Or no, when did The Philosopher's Stone come
25:37out?
25:40Uh Oh, they call it they call it the Sorcerer's Stone in the United States.
25:46Uh originally published in 1997. So, I would have read that when I was in middle school.
25:55No, Spokowski, you didn't you didn't read Harry Potter. You probably watched a YouTube synopsis of it though, I bet.
26:01Mm no, I call cap. You didn't watch a synopsis on YouTube of it.
26:06But on non-fiction for the last decade, first time dipping back. I enjoy I enjoy um historical non-fiction. So, I've read I've read a ton of I mean, this is like
26:18a real nerdy [ __ ] but I've read a ton of uh like Roman history, Greek history and uh
26:27uh like English English kings.
26:31Love that. Um like it like 1066 to like uh like the year like 1500, I eat that up, dude.
26:42>> [snorts] >> Uh Why Why is Maddock on so late? You're going to get these I You're You were going to be getting these later streams
26:50more often as we get closer to the season cuz I I'm not going to say I'm going to do it every day but my my plan
26:59would be to attempt one stream every day more or less.
27:06Um I'm also I I know this is this is probably not what This is not what Justin Herzig would do but I'm going to take Daniel Jones right
27:14here and get my stack cuz I have the two colds and it's too important to the team and I don't want to try and push it. Uh
27:21this is this is late for me 10 minute. I I get up at 4:30 in the morning and so whenever I get done with this draft
27:29I'm going to go upstairs. I'm going to shower. I'm going to go pick a book off my shelf. I'm probably going to read
27:34about eight pages on that book and I'm going to fall right to sleep. I'll probably I'll be asleep before 9:00 p.m. Central I would guess.
27:43>> [snorts] >> When I was when I was in school I minored in history and it was almost all like Middle Ages Europe [ __ ] Yeah. I
27:50mean if I could go back If I could go back and do college again I probably so I minored in uh
27:59intersectional studies which is they what they they called it then was women's studies which just like feminist philosophy basically was my minor
28:09uh and French but if I could go back and do it again I would I would minor in medieval European history I think.
28:18And you know what frankly every day every day dude I wake up and I go man man do I wish
28:29I was a monk. I I wish that I wish that all I had to do every day was read and beg for alms and walk. I feel like I
28:39feel like life would be so simple and so pure.
28:46Maybe not maybe not a popular thought, but man would it be nice.
28:51Uh why do I wake up so early? Well, I have a I have a small child and so the only time that really makes sense to
29:00work out is in the morning.
29:05Cuz if I like I guess I could theoretically I could go work out right now, but then I would be wired and I
29:11wouldn't be able to go to go to sleep.
29:16Legit historical monk or badass D&D monk that needs like 50 mins and No, legit historical monk, like someone who like transcribes like someone whose
29:27life work is copying one page of the Bible onto another page or or the Bhagavad Gita or whatever.
29:35Legit legit monk, not not like monks these days who have cell phones.
29:41Um oh [ __ ] I mean, we're taking Travis Hunter here. Doing ship chasing today got me more even like I was already
29:48drafting a lot of Travis Hunter, but I'm even more into it right now.
29:54>> [snorts] >> My Greek mythology professor was the world leader in Greek pederasty. Kind of wild stuff. That is wild. That is That
30:05is insanely wild. The um Oh man, I tell you I tell you what.
30:10I need to I I I got to I got to find 3 hours to go see the Odyssey, man.
30:18I I think I'm going to try on Friday.
30:22It's the I was I was maybe even going to go tonight. It's sold out. No I If you If you in are in the greater St. Louis
30:31area right now and you wanted to see the Odyssey right now, you couldn't. It's sold out.
30:38Liam mentioned earlier tried to have you and Mason on together tomorrow. Well, I I think Liam is streaming in the morning
30:46and I can't like I won't be um I won't be done I won't be done being a dad until the afternoon. So,
30:57hate to hate to to skip out.
31:02Me and my friends took all Tuesday off to go see it in IMAX. Yes, I'm definitely going to see it in the IMAX.
31:07Honestly, you know that you know the time that I might be able to see it where it won't be sold out is one of the
31:12early morning ones cuz I saw I saw they have some of them at like I I've seen they have it at like 7:00
31:19a.m.
31:20>> [snorts] >> So, maybe may- or maybe I'll be able to go to one of those. Maybe I'll be able to go to see the Odyssey.
31:26Can I get an Icee at 7:00 a.m.?
31:32All right.
31:33What are we going to do? What are we going to do here?
31:36My team as it stands right now is Jalen Hurts, Jonathan Taylor, Ken Walker, Zay Flowers, DJ Moore, P Wash, Dallas Goedert, Javonte Williams, Josh Downs,
31:46Jonathan Brooks, Travis Kelce, Daniel Jones, Travis Hunter.
31:51If I want Rodgers, I probably got to take him here.
31:58Think I got I think I got to do it here.
32:0010:30 IMAX at Ronnie's. Is that is that in the morning or the afternoon, brother?
32:0810:30 10:30 at night?
32:11Are you telling me are you telling me 10:30 at night, brother?
32:1610:30 at night I don't I don't want it that bad.
32:20I I want it, but I don't want it that bad.
32:23Much more much easier much easier uh for my life to do it at 7:00 a.m.
32:38Herbert and Mahomes, my two highest quarterback exposures. I love it. Yeah, I will not if you go to 10:30 at Ronnie's, shout
32:46out to you. You know what's funny, Flam?
32:48Are you Are you a St. Louis guy?
32:51Because I uh the last This is wild, dude. I like going to the movies. I'm not like I'm not I wouldn't say I'm like a a
33:00cinephile. I like movies enough. The last movie I saw was at that theater was at the Ronnie's.
33:09I can't remember what order did these come out? What came out most recently?
33:13Oppenheimer or the last James Bond movie?
33:16Whichever one of those came out last was the last movie I I went to go see in theaters. So, whether it was Oppenheimer
33:22or James Bond movies.
33:25So, the last Bond movie, No Time to Die, came out in 2021. Okay. So, the last movie I saw in theaters was Oppenheimer.
33:34Which was the last Christopher Nolan movie.
33:37Yeah, [snorts] No Time to Die came out in 2021.
33:41What did I think of Yellowstone? I was with my family in the campground where the bison went crazy, ran through the
33:46site next to mine after setting our tent. That's wild. Viper, I was probably about 8 ft away from a bison that same
33:53day, which you're not supposed to get that close.
33:56It was just like he he's just next to the path we were walking on, just sleeping, which is is insane that that
34:03happened, but I thought Yellowstone was amazing. I mean, Yellowstone All right, I'm taking Jaden Blue.
34:10Yellowstone was so cool.
34:12Like if if you are are in the market for a family vacation, 10 out of 10 recommend Yellowstone.
34:20Cool for kids like it.
34:22Cool for and obviously very cool for adults. I think if you if you had like a 6-year-old, I get the sense that it would be awesome
34:34because like they're running around, they're seeing stuff, they're out in the they're out in the sun, and and all that stuff, you know, it's a
34:42it's a good day.
34:43I did. That was the That was the two national parks we went to. We went to Yellowstone and we went to the Grand
34:48Teton National Park and my brother-in-law and I did this hike.
34:57So, we hiked up to this trail right here.
35:03Let me see if I can pull up a Let me see if I can pull up a picture. So, we hiked
35:07up the mountains to this lake. So, we like hiked up the mountain 4 miles to this glacial lake, which was
35:18pretty cool.
35:19Uh it was it was a it was a long day. It was a long It was a long hike. The um
35:25the sandwich that uh that I packed, it was like, "Damn." It's like, "That is the best sandwich I've ever had hiking
35:30up this mountain eating and then going back down." It was It was real cool.
35:35Uh that's actually the lake that is on the thumbnail of the video I did when I was on vacation.
35:45So, that lake is this one right here.
35:50I drafted a fantasy football team on top of a mountain.
35:53That's that lake.
35:59All right. Let's do Do I Oh, I'm going to do Germy.
36:10Or as Neil would say, Bermy Gernard.
36:13But yeah, my my wife packed me a little lunch to go up the lake with her brother and we we popped up to the top and my wife
36:23watched my cute little adult son so that we could go on a hike. It was a It was a good day.
36:28It's a good day.
36:30Uh yes, I was with I was with my I was with my whole family. So, I was with my wife, I was with my son, and I was with
36:36all my in-laws, all my nieces and nephews.
36:38Um I will say we were So, one of my one of my nieces is 1 and 1/2, FF Doom.
36:46And she of all the of all the people on the trip, she probably had the the least amount of fun on a given day.
36:57Cuz like the little kids loved it, and the adults loved it.
37:01And uh my my son is younger, like he's a baby, so he can't he can't walk yet. So, he mostly was in a carrier all day,
37:08which he didn't mind.
37:10>> [snorts] >> I uh I did not drink any lake water. No no prehistoric uh lake water for me. No.
37:19Skipped that.
37:20Just vibed. About to kick off a main event draft at 8:00 Central. I have the 7-pick as Bowers. Is smash there? Um I
37:27don't know Fantasy Sopranos.
37:30Hmm. Yeah, un- unfamiliar with his game.
37:33I mean, I would assume that seven is after where I would take Bowers. I I think where I would take Bowers in FFPC is at five.
37:45So, if I was doing main event rankings, I would have it Gibbs, Bijan, Chase, Puka, Bowers. So, if you could get him
37:52at seven.
37:56Guy who gets cycloporosis from ancient lake water. Yeah, Mason, I copied you, brother.
38:03You I I couldn't I I can't let you I can't let you have all the wins, so I had to I had to copy you, Mason.
38:11No one No one knows No one knows the YouTube game better than my guy, Mason Dodd.
38:17>> [snorts] >> Purple background not so much. Yeah, I got to get the I got to get the green screen. I got to get the green screen
38:25in. That's that's the next move. I have a green screen. Somewhere in the other room back behind my bookshelf, I do have
38:31a green screen. So, maybe maybe that's the next move in uh in the evolution of the channel.
38:39Uh yeah, we're going to take Freiermuth.
38:42Now, we're now we're we're mega stacked.
38:45All right, we're having we're having a good time.
38:48Yes, copied copied the thumbnail and the time slot. Did Mason not stream today or is he about to go live?
38:56Flock fantasy.
38:57Did the Mason wouldn't leave the people hanging.
39:01Yeah, he's about to go live. He probably he's probably on right now scoping, seeing who else is live.
39:09What I and I know I when he's on the Dynasty Flock channel, that means that he probably is watching something on
39:14YouTube cuz the Dynasty Flock one is the one that Mason has um he's got his YouTube Premium hooked up to it. So, when he's watching YouTube,
39:24he's on the Dynasty Flock channel.
39:28All right, we've got a 3563.
39:32Wix is already gone.
39:35I've got Jones and Rodgers double stacked.
39:40So, I can kind of take whoever I want here.
39:43I mean, Tyquan is going to be on the list.
39:46Do I need a fourth tight end? Goedert, Kelce, and Freiermuth. Maybe maybe I would take a fourth tight end.
39:54>> [clears throat] >> Seems fine.
39:57Maybe a maybe a Kolar team. Kolar in the wild?
40:01You never know. Do I have any bring-backs?
40:04Uh Kirk is a bring-back. Fields is a bring-back.
40:10Serrat is correlated.
40:13Odell Beckham with an ADP. You can't give these DraftKings drafters anything, brother.
40:18You can't give them You can't give them an inch.
40:22I can't believe Who's drafting Odell Beckham Jr.
40:25in the year of our Lord 2026?
40:28That seems preposterous. I don't I don't know about that.
40:33All right.
40:35Three five six through I mean, I'm definitely taking two more. Do I need a ninth wide receiver on this team?
40:42Ro- Pat Bryant, Roman Wilson. Yeah, the Tyreek The Tyreek videos are I'm not going to lie, they're they're pretty interesting.
40:51Um no, I'm going to take I'm going to take I'll take Pat Bryant. I'll take Pat Bryant.
40:57My guy Kareem loves Pat Bryant. I'm I'm not as enthusiastic, actually.
41:03My My favorite like true late dart wide receivers are So, Noa I like. Surratt I like. Thornton
41:12I love.
41:15Uh Heidenreich, no. Keenan, for sure.
41:21I'm not taking Roman Wilson on this team. Where's Xavian Thomas?
41:25Xavian Thomas, definitely on that list for me in terms of late wide receiver.
41:29He's probably one of my favorite.
41:31Surratt or Stribling in dynasty?
41:34You know what? I'll do you one better, brother. I will take you over to flockfantasy.com.
41:41I'll click on the wide receiver tab.
41:44And I will tell you.
41:48Uh doo doo doo. I think I've got Stribling a smidgen higher.
41:56Like just a just a very small smidgen.
41:59Oh, no. Did I break it? Did I click too many buttons? Okay, no.
42:05I did click too many buttons. All right, let's go back to the overall.
42:09Davis Maddock.
42:12And I have got a Stribling where Okay, well, these are oh, never mind.
42:20Don't look at this. These are wrong.
42:22I'm trying to upload I'm I'm trying to upload my new CSV.
42:27I I was having I was having some trouble up with the back end over on the flock site. I I would say I would say
42:33Stribling, I think. I think I've got Stribling as mayor a a a hair higher. Uh we're going to take Keenan Allen.
42:41We're going to select one Mr. Keenan Allen. That's for my guy MD2949.
42:48>> [snorts] >> GMGM Uh yes, don't take don't take Jeff Caldwell.
42:56I got a I That's been on my That's been on my to-do list is fixing the ranking stuff on the site.
43:02Uh any concern on week 13 14 players in FFPC this year? I mean, it's the same as every year. There's always a good player
43:10or two that are have you know, I don't know there 5 10 good players that have buys that week.
43:18Although, in the grand scheme of things that week is not that important. I mean, obviously, it's very nice to win your
43:25league.
43:26But, the the most important week obviously is week 15 16 and 17. All right, what's our final pick going to be here?
43:37A 3583.
43:39Our wide receivers are Zay Flowers, DJ Moore, P Wash, Josh Downs. You know what? I am going to take another wide
43:45receiver, and I think it's going to be Tyreek actually.
43:50Unless someone can give me uh a guy who's got more juice than round 20 Tyreek Hill.
43:59I mean, the yeah, I mean, obviously, the goal is goal is to win all your FFPC main event leagues.
44:06We're doing it. I'm going to press the Tyreek but no, I'm not. No, I'm not.
44:10I'm not going to.
44:12I'm going to take I'm going to take Jaylen Knoll actually.
44:18I don't know cuz I don't want guys who are 100% drafted either.
44:23Come on man. Give me someone I need a I need a you know oh, I found it. I know who I'm taking.
44:29I I know.
44:31I'm taking Skyler Bell.
44:35He's the he's the DJ Moore hedge.
44:38Skyler Bell send it in Kamish.
44:41All right.
44:43Recapping this team Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, Zay Flowers, Javonte Williams, DJ Moore, Parker Washington, Jalen Hurts, Josh Downs, Jonathan Brooks, Dallas Goedert, Travis Kelce,
44:54Daniel Jones, Travis Homer, Aaron Rodgers, Jayden Blue, Jeremy Bernard, Pat Freiermuth, Pat Bryant, Keenan Allen, and Skyler Bell.
