A.J. Brown

PositiveRole15:00

Will be the clear wide receiver one in the Chargers' offense, positioning him as the primary receiving target in Mike McDaniel's system. This establishes Brown's role security and target priority within the offense.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury0:00

Alec Pierce is on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list, which affects his draft availability and timeline for return to practice and games.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

NegativeValue0:50

Davis Mattek is lighter than intended on Amon-Ra St. Brown at only $469 invested in salary cap leagues, expressing uncertainty about his draft positioning. St. Brown doesn't feel as dominant as tier-1 WRs like Lamb, JSN, Puka, Chase, or Jefferson, suggesting relative underperformance or less elite upside compared to peers at similar ADP.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveValue40:46

The source indicates a willingness to take Baker Mayfield 10 spots after ADP, suggesting he is undervalued relative to his draft position.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveValue3:20

Bijan Robinson is preferred over Ja'Marr Chase in early draft selections, particularly in portfolio/multi-draft formats. Davis Mattek argues that taking Chase ahead of Robinson is inefficient because Chase falls regularly to picks 4-6, while Robinson provides scarce early RB value that is harder to replace later in the draft.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection13:46

Likely to have the highest-scoring tight end season of all time; the source has 16% allocation to Bowers as a second-round player, which is significant conviction. The source explicitly states 'I'm in on Bowers,' signaling a bullish stance on his 2024 fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Calvin Ridley

PositiveValue35:34

The source is concerned that teams drafting behind will select Calvin Ridley before the next pick, indicating Ridley is undervalued at his current draft position and warrants immediate selection.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection44:56

CeeDee Lamb identified as part of the elite six-receiver group (Chase Puka, JSN, St. Brown, Lamb, and Justin Jefferson) that projects in its own quadrant at week 10; these receivers are in a separate elite projection tier from other wide receivers.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

PositiveInjury0:10

Chris Rodriguez is probably not on the PUP list, clarifying his draft availability status and suggesting he is healthy for training camp.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

NegativeInjury16:10

Suffered a calf strain on the first day of training camp, continuing a pattern of theoretical promise undermined by injury setbacks. The source sarcastically notes the predictability of Kirk's injury history, calling him 'the most theoretical player of all time,' suggesting skepticism about his ability to stay healthy and produce.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeProjection40:04

Christian McCaffrey (CMC) was included in a mock draft team evaluated as B+ in advancement, B+ in ADP, and B− in uniqueness, indicating a balanced, consensus-aligned approach.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeValue10:42

Davis Mattek views Christian Watson as fine to draft in every draft, noting it's not crazy to target him, though he's not a standout recommendation. Watson is part of the discussion around fourth and fifth round wide receivers that could be league winners.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeUsage28:27

The offense is relying on Hubard quite a bit; he operates in a ping-pong combo with Bree Salt at running back, meaning one of the three running backs taken will underperform each week due to normal distribution.

Insight page
NegativeBust38:28

The source cites Chuba Hubbard's 2024 season as a cautionary tale of draft disappointment, noting he 'went to zero' with a series of low-production games (17 rushes, 10 rushes, 0, 0, 0, 7.5, 9.4, 4, 1.7, 2.5, 3.8, 8.3, 20 fantasy points across games). While Hubbard did reclaim production in the postseason, the source emphasizes the risk of relying on backup running backs who can lose their role unexpectedly.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeRole14:14

Archetype comparison to Travis Kelce rather than Gronkowski, suggesting a different role and skill set within tight end evaluation. Identified as an important tight end in the format; the source notes that tight ends are more important than people realize and explicitly includes Loveland in the tier of critical tight ends, though acknowledges he is in a different projection category than Bowers and McBride.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue40:46

The source states a willingness to take DJ Moore 10 spots after ADP, indicating the source views him as undervalued relative to his draft position and would target him at a discount.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeProjection18:12

Davis Mattek expresses almost no interest in the Colts and is not particularly high on Daniel Jones compared to other analysts. Mattek notes that while points can come from bad teams, Jones specifically could suffer if the Colts are really bad because he won't run, unlike running quarterbacks who can still produce. Mattek identifies Jones as a later-round quarterback option available after Love, Herbert, and others are gone.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveProjection4:35

Davis Mattek projects De'Von Achane in the range of 1500 yards and 10 touchdowns, drawing a comparison to Jamal Charles's 2012 season when the Chiefs won three games without Alex Smith. Achane is the smart move over Bowers at the draft slot despite concerns about the Dolphins being a bad team; he's the prototypical player to have on a bad offense because his production doesn't depend on team quality—he will get volume regardless. Tua Tagovailoa's checkdown tendencies were very good for Achane, and Malik Willis as a running QB should make things easier for him.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeProjection30:37

Davis Mattek's quantitative model projects Denzel Boston for 132 PPR points; however, the source suspects the distribution among Cleveland Browns wide receivers (Boston, Conpsion, and Judy) will not be normal, with one likely to fall significantly lower.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

NegativeValue5:40

Derrick Henry is presented as a draft slot decision point competing with De'Von Achane and Bowers at a specific draft position.

Insight page

Gunnar Helm

PositiveValue31:12

Gunnar Helm is Davis Mattek's second-most drafted tight end and represents the most obvious value play of the draft; he is even more obvious than Ferguson. The source attributes his earlier-round availability to a foot injury that affected his previous season.

Insight page

Gunner Olszewski

NegativeProjection40:04

Gunner Olszewski (Gunner Helm) was included in a mock draft team evaluated as B+ in advancement, B+ in ADP, and B− in uniqueness, indicating a balanced, consensus-aligned approach.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeValue3:20

Davis Mattek has a hard time taking Ja'Marr Chase ahead of Bijan Robinson or Anthony Gibbs in early drafts, particularly in portfolio/multi-draft formats. Chase falls regularly in drafts and can be acquired at picks 4, 5, or even 6, making early selection inefficient when better WR options are available at picks 23-27 and early RB value is scarce. Voluntarily giving up early RB share by taking Chase early is viewed as shooting yourself in the foot.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeRole11:41

Cannot be drafted due to 50/50 rep split with George Helani; splitting reps with Helani in July, making him unreliable for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

Jalen Nailor

PositiveProjection44:35

JSN identified as needing a giga mega ceiling at wide receiver in the Badge Bros Brawl format; the source emphasizes that JSN and St. Brown will project insanely well at week 10 and are in their own elite quadrant of projection alongside Chase Puka, CeeDee Lamb, and Justin Jefferson.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveProjection8:20

Davis Mattek is bullish on Jaylen Waddle, projecting a 28% target share and expecting him to come out of the gate strong with games like 147 yards. While acknowledging Waddle's injury durability concerns—getting nicked up, banged up, entering the medical tent frequently—Mattek notes he has not actually missed that many games in his career. Mattek expects Waddle to outproduce Courtland Sutton by approximately 400 yards, though Sutton may have more touchdowns. Waddle is positioned as a draft value if you believe in his durability.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveSleeper5:13

Jeremiah Love is the biggest training camp value opportunity, available at picks 28-29 as a result of draft overreaction to the Cardinals' offensive coordinator change. Davis Mattek views this as a pure overreaction based on people remembering who the OC is rather than actual news, making Love a significant value pick.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeValue0:50

Jonathan Taylor is presented as a draft slot decision point at pick 7, competing with Amon-Ra St. Brown as a potential selection in the early second round.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeBust16:57

Currently at ADP 95 but faces significant concerns: two torn ACLs in his recent history, unproven recovery at full speed, and uncertainty about whether he can return to pre-injury form. The source expresses skepticism about assuming Brooks is 'who he was two years ago, two torn ACLs ago,' and predicts a boom-bust cycle where Brooks will be 'chased up' in ADP before 'bad news' emerges and he falls again. The source prefers Hubbard at ADP 90 for safety in the running back market.

Insight page

Jordan James

NegativeInjury35:12

Jordan James, the 49ers running back two, suffered a training camp injury on the first day of practice; he was playing with the second team, got hurt, limped off, and did not return to practice. The source treats this as a classic training camp red flag that immediately impacts his depth chart standing and availability.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeValue20:17

Davis Mattek would take naked Stafford over Jordan Love because Stafford is going to throw down; Love was selected in a mock draft team evaluated as B+ in advancement and ADP, indicating a balanced, consensus-aligned approach, but Mattek prefers Stafford's upside and touchdown potential despite Love being available earlier in the draft.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeRole27:28

Davis Mattek likes Josh Downs but views him as secondary to Tyler Warren in the Colts passing game; Downs will lose the targets-per-route battle to Warren, who is positioned as the first option in the offense, especially with Pierce out to start the year.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeRole10:10

Davis Mattek expresses concern about Josh Jacobs facing suspension risk and potentially being cooked following a knee injury at the end of last season. Mattek groups Jacobs with Henderson, Judkins, and other mid-tier running backs in the same tier rather than elite tier, indicating diminished expectations.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection44:56

Justin Jefferson identified as part of the elite six-receiver group (Chase Puka, JSN, St. Brown, CeeDee Lamb, and Justin Jefferson) that projects in its own quadrant at week 10; these receivers are in a separate elite projection tier from other wide receivers.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeProjection40:04

Jawan Johnson was included in a mock draft team evaluated as B+ in advancement, B+ in ADP, and B− in uniqueness, representing a balanced, consensus-aligned roster construction.

Insight page

Kaytron Allen

NegativeRole36:53

The source estimates Katron Allen has only a 5–25% probability of securing a rushing role in week one, with the most likely range being 10–15%. Despite being drafted in the fifth round, the source views this as a thin bet given the uncertainty around his role and the shakiness of the team's other running backs.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveRole45:29

Kenneth Walker III selected as the running back pick in the Badge Bros Brawl draft strategy; the source chooses KW3 as the preferred running back option at that draft position.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveValue23:03

Davis Mattek strongly endorses Mark Andrews as a tight end, calling him 'the dude' and indicating he should be prioritized over Travis Kelce in draft strategy.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveProjection18:21

Davis Mattek believes Matthew Stafford is way underpriced and underpropped in general. Mattek projects Stafford to throw 35+ touchdowns (he threw 40 last year) with elite receiving weapons including Puka Nacua, DeVante Adams, Debo Samuel, and Terren Ferguson. Mattek argues Stafford is worth taking naked in drafts because of his high touchdown ceiling and scoring upside despite being an older quarterback, and would take naked Stafford over Jordan Love with Watson.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

PositiveValue18:12

Davis Mattek identifies Michael Pittman Jr. as a viable draft pick in the current round, suggesting he makes sense as a selection option alongside Xavier Worthy.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveValue34:41

Mike Washington is presented as an infinitely better running back option than Katon Kron for this draft build, particularly given the team already has Hubard who could lose touches quickly. Washington is preferred because he will generate touches in week one, addressing the need for a player who will actually play rather than a speculative lottery ticket.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeValue18:18

The source mentions Patrick Mahomes (referred to as 'Love') as an available quarterback option in the draft, indicating he is still on the board at this stage of the mock draft.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveValue14:54

At ADP 79 is characterized as 'so brutal' and 'a terrible pick' by the source. Johnston's ADP has risen significantly from an earlier 130 ranking, making the current draft position unjustifiable. The source questions his role quality in Mike McDaniel's offense, noting that despite being the clear wide receiver one in the Chargers' system, his role 'is not even that good' and relies heavily on touchdown variance. The source also criticizes the fit, questioning why McDaniel would target a receiver with 'bad hands.'

Insight page

Rashaad Penny

NegativeBust42:28

The source illustrates variance in player outcomes by noting that ending up with 30% roster allocation to Rashad Penny does not work out in practice, using him as an example of a high-allocation draft strategy that failed.

Insight page

Russell Wilson

NegativeValue18:12

Davis Mattek recommends skipping Russell Wilson as a quarterback option in draft strategy.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeValue23:03

Davis Mattek calls taking Kelce a 'small dipperino' (downside), suggesting it's a minor mistake to draft him when Mark Andrews is available and preferred as the better tight end value.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection23:03

Davis Mattek identifies Trevor Lawrence as his most drafted quarterback and projects significant upside; notes he will run a lot, showed strong performance in big moments down the stretch last year, and the Jaguars added Tyson Etienne (who can catch) and have Calvin Ridley (better than people think), creating multiple scoring opportunities.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeInjury0:10

Tucker Craft is on the physically unable to perform list, affecting his draft availability and timeline for participation in training camp and games.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveProjection12:27

Has the potential to be Gronkowski on a worse team; positioned as the first passing option on the Colts offense, especially with Pierce out to start the year. Warren will be wide open frequently due to play-action usage, which suits his skill set. He will win the targets-per-route battle against Josh Downs, who the source also likes but views as secondary to Warren in the passing game. The source compares Warren to Gronkowski as a player archetype, emphasizing that despite being the same age as Brock Bowers, Warren and Bowers are not similar players; Warren's comparison is specifically to Gronkowski's playing style and skill set.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeBreakout18:12

Davis Mattek identifies Xavier Worthy as a 'pretty big dipperino' (downside) and suggests Taekwon Thornton is live to outscore him this year. Mattek notes that Worthy's injury history and the threat of Thornton taking over snaps when Worthy gets hurt creates downside risk; when Worthy gets injured, Thornton with Ken Walker threatening will be open on every play. Separately, Mattek projects Worthy for approximately 800 yards and four touchdowns, which aligns with his current draft range, and expects him to go in roughly the same ADP range next year as this year.

Insight page

Zachariah Branch

NegativeSleeper32:52

Davis Mattek is in on Branch as a draft target due to a clear target vacuum in the Falcons offense. Branch is positioned as a quick, explosive receiver (5'8", 177 lbs) who will have to "mess up to not be on the field" given the role opportunity. The archetype overlap—small, explosive slot receiver—matches the source's historical preferences. Concern: Stefon Diggs trade rumors could negatively impact Branch's target share if Diggs joins Atlanta.

0:00Ben, >> every single NFL team has reported for training camp. Unbelievable that we started drafting in January when the big board open and we're here. Alec Pierce
0:10is on the pup list. Chris Rodriguez is probably not on the pup list. Tucker Craft is on the physically unable to
0:17perform list. Well, Malik Neighbors is not on the physically unable to perform list. We are in a baseball mania draft, drafting out of the seven hole. And uh
0:27I've brought my biggest hater, Mr. Buck St. Thomas the Walrus onto the program.
0:32Uh my guy Derek Brown from Fantasy Pros is going to be on with us next. Buck, how are you doing this morning?
0:39>> I'm doing great, man. We're we're pretty good. Uh we had a little snafu. Had to jump the car this morning. Left the
0:45light on, but you know, we're here.
0:46We're okay.
0:48>> Been there. Uh all right, man.
0:50>> We are We are drafting out of the seven slot in this draft. Are you happy to take St. Brown? Do you want to take
0:58Jonathan Taylor? Generally speaking, what do you do at the seven slot in the draft?
1:03>> If I can get him on RAW, I get him because he tends to be pulled up a little bit in the draft set. It seems
1:10like when I happen to get those spots, I'm probably lighter than I want to be on St. Brown because every year I do a
1:17soft fade and he just like owns me and I don't want that to happen again, you know?
1:22>> Yeah, I am also a little bit lighter than intended. only $469 invested in Aman Raw St. Brown right now.
1:30>> There's just so many ways that you could see it go elsewhere over there. You know, >> there's something there's something
1:37about St. Brown and I don't really know what it is, but it's just kind of like a vibes based. Wow. All right. Well, we're
1:42going to get McCaffrey.
1:43>> Yeah, we are.
1:44>> Um there there's just I don't know what it is, but it's just kind of this deal about St. Brown where he doesn't feel as
1:50dominant >> as Lamb >> or JSN or Puka or Chase or Jefferson. By the way, I gotta say, I know, look, I'm
1:59all Well, actually, I'm not all for it.
2:00I I think taking Chase ahead of Bejon or Gibbs is if you're going to be doing I mean, if you're going to do 10 drafts,
2:06you know, whatever, do whatever you want. But if you are are portfolio drafting >> Chase over Bejian, I I just have a I
2:14have a real hard time for it. Mostly because the picks at 23 and 26 or 24 25 22 27 are generally speaking the wide
2:23receiver picks there are better.
2:25>> Yes.
2:26>> And then you're just kind of typ casting yourself into a zero wide or a zero running back start which >> I'm I'm not as like heavy heavy running
2:35back pill kind of as the rest of the field is right now.
2:38>> Yeah.
2:39>> But I it's real hard for me to be like I'm taking my first running back in round four, >> dude. Yeah. I mean, you're shooting
2:46yourself in the foot if you pull up Chase. Chase falls. Chase you can get Chase at four, you can get Chase at
2:50five. You I've even seen him go at six.
2:53You know, he's he's pretty volatile. And like you just said, when you come back around there at the at the turn, you're
2:58looking at like Bree or Bust kind of for me. So, like if you're voluntarily giving up an early draft slot running
3:06back share, I think that is shooting yourself in the foot. I would say right now the biggest thing to take advantage
3:13of as a result of training camp news is 100% just like being able to get Jeremiah love at pick 28 29. That that
3:20is far and away the number one thing thus far that I've been like all right well this is just an overreaction based
3:25on people remembering who the offensive coordinator is. Like not even not even news just people remembering who the Cardinals offensive coordinator is.
3:33>> Yeah. I mean he could fall further though is my only counter to that. like he there could I could see ways for him
3:38to fall further.
3:39>> I'm gonna keep doing it. All right.
3:40Achan or Henry or Bowers?
3:43>> H with McCaffrey.
3:45>> Um if we're having fun, we could do Bowers, but I think the smart move is Achan.
3:51>> Yeah. You know, I'm a little bit worried like everyone else is that the Dolphins are going to be bad. And they they very
3:59likely are going to be bad. Although I'm probably a little bit higher on Malik Willis than than the average Bear. And
4:06frankly, the team wasn't even any good last year. Like it's not like the Dolphins the Dolphin everyone got fired.
4:12It was it was a huge mess anyways. And just look at the game logs, dude. Just every week just like all right, 16 17 20
4:1840 20 17 18.
4:21>> Like if you um I mean he's if you have one guy on an offense like that, you want him. He's the prototypical. Like
4:27you would not build a better guy to be on a bad team than Han. It simply doesn't matter if the team is good or
4:33bad. This dude is going to eat.
4:35>> Yeah, I actually well I actually uh I looked it up and um Jamal Charles's last year playing without Alex Smith.
4:45>> The Chiefs won three games and he had 1500 yards and 10 touchdowns, which is like it's probably what Achan's going to
4:53be in that range. And then obviously he can score more touchdowns if he gets >> long plays. You know, >> I see it kind of like Bree a couple
5:00years ago except a different type of quarterback and offense, but like scam, you know, just scam with a super talented guy.
5:08>> Yeah. No, I mean I I agree with this that Tua like and his checkown tendencies was very good for Han. The
5:15the thing that I like with Malik, I mean the the thing the thing that we know, I mean, this is just barren out borne out
5:22through years and years and years of fantasy football research, which is if you have a running quarterback, >> yes, >> things just get a lot easier for the
5:29running back. So, he probably does lose some of his receiving work, but he's g he should be able to gain, you know, a
5:35little bit of equity in in the ground game, >> dude. Yeah, you cannot give Han an inch and he's going to Malik Willis will
5:42threaten and you know it's going to it's going to work.
5:44>> There we go. We have we have Buck St.
5:46Thomas fans in the chat video today, Buck. There we go.
5:50>> Thank you. I put out a video at 10 today. I'm trying to put out a video now. I'm going to try and put one out
5:54every Tuesday at 10 a.m. I drafted >> you had Kiran T lad name.
6:01>> I'm a Breeze guy. Give me Breeze. Is this value too, right? Is this value?
6:05Uh, I mean, if it is value, it's like, yeah, like two spots of ADP value. I I actually think it's it's time to start
6:13taking Malik Neighbors here.
6:15>> I'm sorry, man. Malik Neighbors is not going after Egg Bua.
6:20>> It's not happening. [laughter] >> Well, like I mean, I'm kind of not buying any positive news on Neighbors right now until I see something. That's
6:28how I feel. There's a lot of risk, inherent risk with that that coaching staff, that offensive environment. I mean, when has Matt Naggi ever messed
6:37anything up for everybody, right?
6:40>> I mean, I agree the I agree the Matt Naggi issue is very real, but Malik Neighbor I mean, we've already
6:49seen like legit wide receiver one production, wide receiver one target earning too. That's maybe to me the big difference with Neighbors versus some of
6:58these other guys. Like if Lad Makoni was in a similar situation coming back from the ACL, I wouldn't want to be jamming
7:03it. But Malik Neighbors is like I mean I expect him to have close to a 30% target share for this iteration of the Giants.
7:11>> It just feels like this could go so bad.
7:12His I mean what if his recovery is off?
7:15What if like what if there there's a like a more interesting reason they're keeping him off the pup rather than like
7:21this dude's going to be full go? Like we have not seen him run Davis. What's Have we seen anything today from from camp?
7:26What's going on with him >> on neighbors? I don't we we have not >> like that we're kind that's kind of the
7:31most important thing like on the board, right? Like what is neighbors doing?
7:35>> Uh let me see if I can get I I don't believe there is any Malik Neighbors update. Yeah. So they I think I think
7:42the Giants come into camp tomorrow. By the way, as we're as we're as we're talking about Deon Han, first blurb on
7:49Roto World is Dolphins head coach Jeff Hathley said running back Deon Hchan will be ready for start of camp tomorrow because he had that offseason shoulder
7:58>> cleanup. Yeah. So, this is obviously why he was a fourth round pick because he was limping to first base in that
8:03softball game. But, you got to remember he was cleared to play in that game by the by the medical staff.
8:09>> I mean, he was Yeah. Clearly horribly running like couldn't even bend his leg.
8:14Well, you know, I mean, he just he's taking it easy.
8:16>> Bearish thing you could have.
8:17>> He's not trying to get injured in a softball game, bro.
8:20>> I'm just not buying it. I'm not I'm not taking neighbors there. I I I know he's amazing. I just feel like even if he's
8:26ready to play, he's not he's going to be probably 75% of himself on a on a >> Wadd, you know, >> or McLaren.
8:33>> Um, let's go Waddle, right?
8:35>> Or or Jacobs.
8:37>> I wouldn't go for RB personally still. I would go Waddle here if you believe in Wadd. like any of those guys. McLaren
8:43and Waddle I probably project similarly.
8:46>> I mean I I'm a Jaylen Wadd guy.
8:49>> I know you are and I'm trying to be more open to it myself.
8:52>> Thank god.
8:53>> I know that uh >> yeah well I mean that I wouldn't have even had to wouldn't have even had to
8:58have asked you for >> for Luther Burn. I mean Wadd is ultimately it's going to be an ultimately everyone ends up feeling
9:05right about him because he's going to come out of the gate like gang busters.
9:08He's gonna have uh, you know, he's gonna have a a 28% target share. He's gonna have like 147 yard game and then he'll
9:16get nicked up and he'll get banged up and people like me will be like, you know, I just ran bad. Can't can't
9:21predict that stuff. He actually has not missed that many games in his career.
9:24And then all the people who are fading him will be saying, "Come on, man. You knew he was going to get hurt. He goes
9:29into the medical tent every single game." And so everyone, no matter what your opinion is on Jaylen Waddle, you will end up getting to say, "Come on,
9:36man. I told you so. I was right." Yeah, you are. You are right. Especially like it's it's going to suck when he has
9:42like, you know, 400 more yards than Sutton, but Sutton has more touchdowns somehow.
9:46>> I mean, that almost I was going to say that almost certainly is going to happen. All right, we got a we got a
9:51good question here. Are we sure Neighbors is amazing. Uh, to which I would say >> yes.
9:57>> Yes. Yes. I I mean the guy the guy he really is.
10:01>> If the dude was right, he'd be a mid-first round pick. 18 18 targets in his second ever game is really really
10:08some phenomenal stuff. Yeah, I'm pretty >> pretty sure pretty sure that Neighbors is is quite good. Um I mean boy are we
10:17lucky that we took Wadd because we would be tilting our faces off. I mean I think I think given the range of outcomes
10:24where Jacobs is suspended or maybe cooked. I mean he was cooked at the end of last season with that knee injury. To
10:29me he is in the same as these Henderson Judkins Bucky style guys. What do you want to do here, Buck?
10:35>> Um, I I would pull up a wide receiver here. I would pull up um any of them really. Dealer's choice. You You pick. I
10:40would pick up any wide receiver.
10:42>> Uh, we'll do Christian Watson. I think that is I mean, whatever. It's fine to do in every one of your drafts. Like, I
10:49don't think it's crazy. My opinion is that fantasy football this season is going to be decided by who scores the most points out of DeAndre Swift, David
10:59Montgomery, Bshalt Tutin, Trevan Henderson, Quinshan Judkins, and Jadarian Price. Those are those are the five most important guys in fantasy football in my mind.
11:07>> I I'm actually same round but different side than you. Every year I try to find the receivers in the fifth round that
11:12are going to that are going to way outperform and there's a couple. I think this year I feel like it's going to
11:17matter more because running back pricing is is so much more expensive now that like you're the ceiling you're trying to reach with these Tutin guys is ones
11:24that's going to be reached by people in the second round and even the third round all the time. But these fifth
11:30fourth and fifth round wide receivers, there could be some real league winners in there like you know we we find them
11:34every year. There's there's like Tate Tate could just be a league winner.
11:38>> Oh, you hear that? Jaren Price is 5050 with Han. Can't draft Jadarian Price.
11:42He's George Helani's backup. Can't draft him. Can't draft him, dude. He's splitting reps with Helani in July.
11:48Can't draft him.
11:51>> Can't Can't draft him. Can't draft him.
11:54Uh my quantitative thinks that Jacobs is in the same as Saquon and Bree. I mean, does not surprise me that my
12:01quantitative would be quite high on Josh Jacobs. Um all right, we are about to be up. I'm I'm assuming you're going to be
12:08a big Tyler Warren sloppy here. I'm I'm fine with it. I probably Except now the coaching staff says that he's almost back. But whatever. This is
12:19This is Grank. Take it or leave it. This is Grank.
12:22>> This is so far away from Grank, dude.
12:24>> Just wait. Okay, listen. I watched his his uh rookie year. I had a bet with my roommate that he would score more
12:31touchdowns than Hernandez. And I won.
12:32>> There there there is a player who is on the Rob Gronkowski career path. It's just he doesn't play for the
12:38Indianapolis Colts. it. Well, I mean, I just feel like uh they are similar players and they they move similarly.
12:44>> They are so they are so not similar players. First off, the same age. First off, they're the same age right now.
12:50>> Who?
12:51>> Tyler Warren and Brock Bowers are the same age.
12:53>> No, I'm saying Grank. Grank. Grank. I've been talking about Grank, >> brother.
12:59Tyler Warren. Very >> Tyler Warren could be Grank. Tyler Warren could be Grank.
13:02>> Closest Closest comps for Tyler Warren.
13:05Evan Ingram, Austin Sparen Jenkins, TJ Hawinson, Aaron Hernandez, Fant Leaporta Gresham. Closest comps for
13:15Brock Bowers.
13:17I mean, I think you guys already know who the closest comps for Brock Bowers are going to be after his uh you know,
13:22>> yeah, Eric Debron.
13:25>> Well, I got you got to switch it to the age 21 season because this includes the three injury games. All I'm telling you
13:30is that Tyler Warren has it in front of him to be Grank on a worse team. That's all.
13:35>> Grank Grank is >> I know Grank. I'm from here. I watched him the whole time. I love it.
13:40>> I know Grunk. I live in Rhode Island. I know Grunk. I live >> He's over here all the time.
13:46>> Yeah. [laughter] >> But yes, I mean Bowowers is Bowowers is probably going to end up having I my guess would be this is going to be the
13:55highest scoring tight end season of all time.
13:58>> I'm in on Bowers. I think I have like 16% Bowers of a sec 16% of a second round player is a real lot for me.
14:04>> Guys, Tyler Warren I just I need everyone to know Tyler Warren and Brock Bowers are the same age. These are not
14:10similar players, brother.
14:13>> Yeah, I know they're not. I don't think Tyler Warren's similar to Brock Bowers.
14:16I said he's similar to Gronk. That's all. He's similar to Gronk as a player.
14:19And Grank would not have been Grank without Brady. He would not have been Grank without Brady.
14:22>> The Tyler the Tyler Warren pick feels really really bad. So this also is not true that Tyler Warren was the Zaf. He
14:29he this is this is also not true.
14:31>> I didn't say yeah I don't cosign that.
14:33>> Loveland is not Gronk. Loveland is Kelsey. Guys look at players bodies.
14:37>> What are we what are we what are we doing?
14:39>> Um QJ.
14:47>> God. Are you serious, dude?
14:49>> Yes.
14:49>> Horrible. [laughter] >> Yes. I mean that that is a terrible pick. It's not going to He's the clear wide receiver one over there. You're
14:57going to be happy you took him. You could >> That's a bad pick.
15:00>> You don't think he's going to be the wide receiver one over there? I mean, most people don't clearly QJ at 79 is so
15:06brutal, dude.
15:07>> It's true. But the whole reason that's a bad pick is because, you know, you had him at like 130 earlier in the year.
15:14>> You know, he would be a fine pick if you didn't have that context. I think >> it's just like the the role is not even
15:20that good. It's just it's just all like touchdown. I know the role is not that good >> cuz I watched him play in this
15:26configuration last year and it was >> you watch him play in Mike McDaniel's offense last year.
15:30>> Okay. What about Mike McDaniel's offense says, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to target the guy who's got bad
15:35hands.
15:36>> Mike saying this himself. He said he looks like Julio Jones >> Davis. You got to wake up, brother.
15:44Where's Mason? Where's Mason? I was gonna say Mason Mason is he's going he's all he's all in on right now, man. It's too bad Mason had
15:53to take those cameras out from his his store. Those flock cameras not selling too hot anymore.
15:59>> I did I did enjoy the Brock Party quote on my guy stribbling about stribbling yesterday. Dude's a baller, >> dude. Y I did I did enjoy that. And And
16:10you got the combo of Pertie says he's a baller as Christian Kirk hobbles off with a calf strain the first day. I
16:16mean, who could have ever predicted who could have predicted that Christian Kirk would hilarly hilarious that Kristen Kirk strained his calf the first day. It's pretty good.
16:26>> It really It really is.
16:27>> He's the most theoretical player of all time.
16:30>> He is. Um I mean, Hubard is still here, so we are we are in legitimate. I mean, we got to take Hubard.
16:36>> Okay. All right. I mean, don't twist my arm. Yeah, >> even if this is where Hubard's ADP is ultimately going,
16:44>> which it it probably is like we we all know where this is going, which is that Hubard is going higher, higher, higher
16:51in sense like the numbers going higher and Jonathan Brooks is going lower and like they're they're going to meet.
16:57>> Mhm.
16:57>> I I just don't have it in me to pass on a guy who who was going in the 50s >> at 90.
17:05I just feel like it's, you know, it's silly. This is what happens every year.
17:09Brooks is going to get chased up and eventually you're going to get some bad news and then he'll fall again. Um I
17:14mean we haven't even really seen him run full speed. We've seen him like on a long lens. Someone's like tracking him
17:18on a long like Dvin Cook on the Jets looked like he was going 80 miles per hour in that kind of shot. We just don't
17:23we don't know yet. I would I would take safety with Hubard in round eight for sure in this RB economy. In this
17:29economy, give me Hubard.
17:33I don't even I mean like I think Hubard will probably get the first carry of this upcoming season, you know. I I mean
17:42I don't I don't know how much it's worth, but it will it will probably happen. There you go. Hubard Hubard at
17:4790, Brooks at 95.
17:49>> Maybe Brooks is better. Um Brooks was theoretically better and he tore his ACL and he fell and then he stepped on to it
17:56again. So, like how how do we assume that if even if Brooks is healthy, he's who he was two years ago, two torn ACLs
18:02ago. Like, how do we assume that? It's dumb to assume that IM O.
18:07>> Yeah. Um, all right. We are up in two picks. Worthy makes sense. Pitman Jr.
18:12makes sense. Probably would skip on Wilson for a quarterback. We have Love, Knicks, Herbert is gone, and then Daniel Jones later. All
18:21>> I like quarterback here. I do like quarterback here. Uh, Nicks Knicks pairs with them. Stafford, I think, is way underpriced in general and underproed in
18:30general.
18:30>> This is uh this is a a pretty big dipperino on worthy.
18:36>> Okay. Well, I mean, I'm not going to deprive you of your most favorite thing in the entire world.
18:41>> Well, the issue is is is Knicks will not come back. Actually, you know what?
18:45Knicks might come back to us.
18:47>> Yeah, we can we can we can take Worthy.
18:49It's fine >> because because the Sutton drafter has Lawrence and they also have Chuck set up and so there there's a chance that Nicks
18:59floats back to us. I mean it's it's light. We also have um >> Nick's also recovering from injury that will limit his mobility.
19:07>> It's true.
19:08>> Much like >> Yeah. Yeah. It's it it's I mean Nicks led the NFL in pass attempts last year which is
19:15>> he ran too and the threat of mobility helps you even when you're in the pocket when you're behind the line of
19:19scrimmage. If you're mo if you're mobile people you it's different you know.
19:23>> Yeah. Yeah.
19:25>> I do think Taekquin Thornton uh is live to just outscore Xavier Worthy this year though. Like straight up >> I would be very surprised if it happened
19:34this year because teams just generally cling so close to their priors. They just they just like, "Okay, this guy was a this guy was a first round draft pick,
19:42so I'm probably >> Well, what about when Worthy just gets hurt? When Worthy gets hurt, then Thornton with [clears throat] Ken Walker
19:48threatening is going to be open like every play.
19:51>> It's not like It's not like Thornton is that much bigger than worthy though.
19:56>> Thornton was worthy first.
19:57>> Okay, Nicks Knicks does go to the Sutton team.
19:59>> Thoron was worthy. I saw Thornton's first game in person. The guy is a peanut. Taekquin. Taekwon, you know, famously won one won one or $2 million
20:09for our our close associate one, Mr.
20:12Patrick Karin.
20:12>> He sure did.
20:13>> People People forget.
20:15>> Yep.
20:16>> Yeah. Um All right. Well, we're about >> coming back up here. What What are we doing? I feel like we could uh I don't
20:21like KD.
20:22>> We just We just got to take one of our quarter who whichever quarterback. Love.
20:26We had the stack.
20:27>> Golf. Goff. Goff. Goff.
20:29>> We did not take St. Brown. We took McAffrey.
20:32>> Oh, yeah. That's right. I mean, to be honest with you, I'm crazy. I would take naked Stafford over Jordan Love with
20:37Watson right now because Stafford is going to throw down. That's the MVP.
20:41That's the MVP.
20:42>> Not not naked for very long.
20:44>> No, no, don't. No. [laughter] >> If we if we take Stafford, we're doing if we're taking Stafford, we're doing that. So, choose.
20:54>> Don't take Stafford.
20:56>> Okay.
20:58>> I do think he's worth taking naked even if you wanted to though. And I do tack on Parkinson at the end of
21:03>> He and he and Goff have to be the worst naked quarterbacks because there's there really is no world where even if it's a
21:11good advance rate pick, there is no world you get Stafford to week 17 and you win using Stafford score.
21:17>> I disagree completely. Stafford's there's no world. How many touchdowns do you think Stafford's going to throw this this year?
21:24>> Like 28.
21:25>> Only 28? You think only 28? the MVP who has Puka and Dvonte Adams and probably Debo Samuel and Terren Ferguson is
21:34>> all right let's see what do we think what do we think my quantitative has guess >> I don't know >> uh guess
21:39>> 30.5 he definitely was not at 30 I'm going to guess 28 >> okay you tell me what did he do last
21:48year >> he had like 40 Wow 35 that is actually stunning >> I told you that is so many passing touchdowns
21:55>> I told you so this is what I'm saying he's worth to take naked because he has so many options to score touch.
22:00>> No, he he he is he is legitimately an awful awful awful selection as >> I would agree with you if he was like
22:06four rounds more expensive. I would agree with you. But he's not.
22:08>> No. No.
22:09>> This is the MVP who threw 30 however 40 touchdowns last year. He's going to what if he throws 35 touchdown?
22:14>> He's he's going to throw 35 touchdowns to guys that we do not have.
22:18>> So what other people draft terribly?
22:20Like how could you? It's it's if this is a math game then it makes sense. You know what I mean? If you can get those
22:27points there, you should take them.
22:29>> What does the chat think?
22:32>> Tell me.
22:32>> They don't They don't know, dude. They don't know they do not do not do not appeal. Do not appeal to these guys.
22:38>> No. [laughter] No. Incorrect. So, no.
22:42No. No. Good. Uh, all right. We are about to be back up. We have a 1441 build.
22:52>> Shock makes a little bit of sense.
22:53Willis makes a little bit of sense.
22:54Shahed gives us a back door. Coker gives us a back door.
22:58>> Uh we I mean this is a small dipino on Kelsey. What do you want to do?
23:03>> I Shuck is my most drafted quarterback.
23:05I would take Shock here especially after Andrews goes because Andrews is Andrews is the dude >> have 20% of both both of them.
23:16>> Why is Shuck your most drafted quarterback? I think he's going to run a lot and I I like what I saw out of him
23:22um in big moments last year down the stretch and they added Tyson um and and they added Etienne who can catch as well
23:30pretty well and they have Vle who's better than you think as well. Um I just feel like this dude I mean we saw him
23:35>> they have Bele. They have Bele.
23:37>> Yeah. You know their wide receiver three which matters. Yes. Um but Chuck is going to run. I think people forget that
23:43Chuck had that 2TD running game last year. Like it works for them and he was pushing. They didn't have a shot, but he
23:49was he was trying and and it I think it was working working enough for them to draft a wide receiver eight overall,
23:56you know.
23:58>> Are you out? You in on Chuck?
24:00>> Oh, no. I love Chuck. He's He's also one of my more drafted guys. I'm I'm >> You can't optimize for week 17, but you
24:08can set your roster up for week 17. I'm not trying to be like this specific thing like something like Liam loves to
24:14do is like this team is playing this dog defense in week 17 so I'm going to overindex on that and I'm like whatever
24:19I don't know go with God but um I prefer the highest projected options and and Stafford
24:30>> Sta Stafford no Puka no Adams is not going to sim well >> I don't know I disagree I think I think
24:38you can win in many many ways case. And also, you can [ __ ] use Stafford to get to the playoffs and he cannot hit
24:44your lineup in the playoffs. That can happen, too. Like, pieces are valuable that get you there, even if they're not hitting in 17.
24:51>> Well, I mean, it would have been fine because we could have backstacked him, but you chose not to do that option. You
24:56You pass.
24:57>> That's true. I did. I totally did. This is >> I would I would have been happy to take him there.
25:02>> It's true. I am arguing against myself.
25:04>> We have a 2441.
25:06I think we should probably just take dimes here and be done with it.
25:09>> You think so? What about Gddard?
25:13>> Uh, we already 10 touchdown. What about 10 red zone Alice Gddard?
25:17>> We are our worst position right now is is tight end >> or quarterback.
25:22>> Okay. All right. Go ahead.
25:25>> And we our next stacking option there there was not one.
25:29>> Yeah, that's fair. These are three like you're lucky if you get 23 points from one of them.
25:34>> Correct. These are these are are bad quarterbacks and worthy to me worthy over Nicks is fine. Like I I do not
25:40think Boon Knicks is that good of a quarterback and we are relatively weak at wide receiver.
25:47>> Well, it's true. Yeah, I I'm fine with taking Worthy. I do think there's a a larger chance that he's around 14 pick
25:52than around three pick next year, but you know, >> I think he probably is going to go almost exactly where he's going this
25:59year.
26:00>> Maybe. Yeah. No, especially if Kelsey's out.
26:02>> I think he will just run back. I think he he's probably going to get about 800 yards and four touchdowns and
26:10that is right about where he's being projected. He's going to go right about in the same range.
26:14>> Totally.
26:14>> That's my That's my my guess.
26:16>> It could it could it could be or he could I mean those you know training videos we saw of him with those big ass
26:22like two sizes too big shoes and that helmet for adult he was wearing the Air Forces. I don't know. I don't know what
26:27>> he was wearing. My mom's jacket from the 80s with shoulder pads in it. Like this guy. I mean, if that was real
26:35bearish.
26:36>> Yeah.
26:37>> Three quarterbacks in a row, huh? Look at us. Look at this. Look at this block of purple there.
26:42>> Look at us. Who would have thought?
26:43>> Who would have thought you would be drafting Daniel Jones? Fully cleared.
26:47>> Yeah, he's That's I mean, I just have like almost no interest in the Colts. I don't I'm not even that high on downs
26:53compared to my slappy brethren.
26:55>> Yeah. I mean, points come from everywhere. Even if even if teams are bad, you know, someone like DS can be
27:01fine. Someone like Jones who won't run could suffer if they're really bad, but with Warren, it's worth it. If Warren works, Jones works, right?
27:09>> The only reason I Let's take Jan, right?
27:11>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Stack. Stack.
27:13>> The only reason I ever take Tyler Warren is just because he's in that range with all the quarterbacks and I don't always
27:19want to take Park Barker Washington. I do I do think that um I mean Warren is just like to me not a particularly good
27:27pick.
27:28>> Oh why he's the first option on the team.
27:30>> He's the first op first passing option on the team especially with Pierce out for you know possibly the beginning of
27:36the year.
27:37>> He will lose the targets per out run battle to Josh DS for sure.
27:40>> No he won't. He's going to be wide open all the time because they're going to be doing play action and that's what he
27:44eats on. That's like what I mean I like DS. I like DS too but Warren is going to be the first option in that passing
27:50game. Yeah.
27:53Um, okay. Well, this is our team. Jordan Love, Tyler Shock, Daniel Jones, Christian McCaffrey, Devin A Chain, Bree Salt, Chuba Hubard, Jaylen Wadd,
28:02Christian Watson, Big Q, Xavier Worthy, Tyler Warren, and Jawan Johnson.
28:08>> I like it. If we if we're winning flex with running back, our quarterback room's okay.
28:13>> You know, that's that's how I feel.
28:15>> I don't I don't know how much flexing we are going to be winning. I mean, >> with our running backs, we took three
28:21stars.
28:21>> We took it. We better be, >> you know, one of them is going to be bad every week, right? I mean, that's just a
28:27normal distribution. One of them is going to be bad. So, it's it's really actually relying on on Mr. Hubard quite a bit,
28:33>> right? The combo of Bree and Hubard ping pong.
28:35>> We are up. What do you think about taking Stribbling about Stribbling or Chimera? Or Chimera.
28:42>> Oh. Uh, don't threaten me with a good time. We should take >> Let's Let's see if Chimera comes back.
28:47We should take dribbling because we need some help.
28:50>> Our I was going to say our wide receivers suck. Yeah.
28:52>> Yeah. [laughter] >> Many many such cases.
28:57>> Honestly, that's kind of like the MO this year. This is that's like the move this year is like if your wide receivers
29:02don't suck, your team sucks. [snorts] >> Yeah. Yeah, you're probably right. I And I honestly I I'm I'm really trying to
29:10not be too influenced by training camp things that are happening early on. Like I think you're you're going to be like a
29:16dog chasing your own tail.
29:17>> Totally.
29:18>> Trying to follow every training camp thing that happens. But the one like the thing that needed to happen for Stribbling was for Kirk to be injured in
29:26training camp. Not even just for week one, but just so he's working with the first team and that the coaching staff
29:33sees him out there with Evans, with Pieraw.
29:36>> Yeah.
29:36>> With McAffrey. And And it literally happened the first day. the first day, the first day.
29:44>> Yeah. I like I when I didn't want to be in on dribbling, but there's there's simply no like they just got Jawan
29:49Jennings but younger and and better.
29:51Like they just got he's Jawan Jennings but better. Just that's fine. Take him there.
29:57>> I mean, even if he's not Jawan Jennings, like even if he's not Jawan Jennings but better and he's just Jawan Jennings the
30:05sequel, I I think this is an appropriate price point. He went after >> Yeah.
30:08>> He went after Jaylen Naylor. He went after Trey Tucker. He went after a rookie wide receiver, two rookie wide receivers on the Cleveland Browns.
30:16>> That is crazy.
30:17>> One of one of those ADPs, Boston or Conpsion, is we're going to look back on the end of the year and we're going to
30:23be like, three Browns wide receivers got drafted in every draft. Huh.
30:26>> It's pretty unhinged. It's not like us.
30:29>> Yeah, >> it's not like us.
30:31>> Like right now here. All right, this is this will be good. I'm going to check our quantitative. So our quant has
30:37Denzel Boston for 132 PPR points. I mean, >> what does he have KC?
30:45>> Well, he's got he's got them all compressed. He has Conpion for 162, Judy for 138, and Boston for 132. My guess is
30:53>> Judy Boston, KC.
30:55>> I was going to say my my guess is is that there's not going to be a normal distribution there. One of them is going
31:00to have to go way lower.
31:01>> Judy's going to be so annoying, dude.
31:02Just take him cuz he's >> Judy. Judy is the one I take the most of.
31:06>> Yeah, he's going to be so >> All right, we are up. I would take Gunnar Helm.
31:12>> The jester gooner.
31:13>> Dude, he's so good. The jester.
31:17>> Helm. Helm is is >> the Oklahoma Gooner.
31:20>> I was going to say he's he is uh he is close. I think he's my second most drafted guy um at this point at the
31:28tight end.
31:29>> Sometimes it's obvious, Davis. Sometimes it's obvious with >> Helm. Helm is even more obvious than Ferguson. Ferguson is is so obvious to
31:37anyone with eyes to see, but Helm is even more obvious.
31:42>> Yes. I'll just say yes.
31:44>> Helm Helm is the most obvious Gary Barnage season of all time.
31:48>> Dude, there's Gary Barnage. Like, if Helm didn't have that foot thing and post that picture, like he probably would have gone a lot earlier. And I
31:56mean, if he didn't have the foot issue, he probably would have done a lot better last year. He's just like, sometimes,
32:01you know, the dude's name is Gunnar Helm. He looks great. Draft him. Yeah.
32:06Um, all right. Well, there you go. So, now we have our three tight ends. We have our three quarterbacks. We need one more
32:12running back and two more wide receivers. There are there's at least two more wide receivers on the board that I don't mind clicking. We're okay.
32:24>> Devon Vele.
32:26>> Vele is is legitimately uncclickable.
32:29>> Have you considered that they're both 6'5 and old? He's going to get he's going to get his chain snatched by Bryce
32:34Lance.
32:35>> Dude, he's just Chuck is going to throw it up higher than the other guy can get it. And and he's Vle is is like Jennings
32:41but a little bit stronger and taller.
32:43>> Yeah. What do you want to do with this pick? What would you be thinking?
32:47>> Show me the board. I mean, uh, show me the selection here. Um, I actually am in on Branch. I'm in on Branch.
32:53>> I like I like Branch and Bernard. Yeah, I'm more in on Branch just because of the the vac the vacuum left the the
33:00vacant hole left of targets over there.
33:03He can just go get in there, take them all. He's quick if he can get over.
33:07>> Do you want to take Do you want to take Branch or Jeremy?
33:10>> Branch.
33:12A lot of ways I can go wrong. London's always going down. Well, there was there was a new there was a new report this
33:18morning that the Falcons are quietly one of the Diggs teams, which makes sense the entire time. Diggs would be very bad
33:28for Zachariah Branch.
33:29>> Well, what if Branch is just better than Diggs right now, though? He could be.
33:32>> I think I think regardless, Branch has a clear role like he's kind of the Micole Hardman style style guy, you know?
33:44>> Maybe. I mean like how how small is he exactly?
33:47>> Is he like 180? Is he like 180 or something?
33:49>> Smaller. Smaller.
33:50>> Smaller than 180.
33:52>> Somebody fact check this man. Is that true?
33:54>> There's no way.
33:55>> Zachariah Branch.
33:56>> There's no way.
33:59>> Combine.
34:00>> No way. Is less than like Devonte Smith?
34:03>> Yeah. Yeah. He Oh, 177. 5'8 though. 5'8 177.
34:09>> I mean, this is your archetype that you've traditionally liked. I was going to say like Zachary Branch is one of my
34:15most wrapped guys.
34:16>> The when I over overlapped when the ven diagram of of what I like and what you guys liked overlapped is when the role
34:22is just up for grabs. When the it's obvious that this dude like is gonna he's going to have to [ __ ] up to not be
34:28on the field. That's how I feel about Branch.
34:31>> Uh I think we should take Kron here.
34:35>> Um you're welcome to. I've never taken him. I think he's a terrible pick, but that's fine. I I think Mike Washington
34:41is an infinitely better. Tell me why.
34:42Tell me why he's a bad pick.
34:44>> What round did he get drafted in? Like the sixth round in in an ambiguous >> Give me a running back. Give me a
34:49running back >> Washington. Washington. Mike Washington.
34:53>> The issue is is with this team I actually think we need a guy who's going to play. I don't think we need
34:58>> Come on.
35:01>> All right.
35:01>> Or Kalon.
35:02>> Yeah. No. No. So I So there's a weird There's a weird thing going on with the 49ers right now. They open training camp
35:12yesterday.
35:12>> Mhm.
35:13>> Jordan James is the running back too.
35:14Playing with the twos, >> gets hurt, limps off, doesn't come back to practice. So, so we literally we we literally we literally get the report
35:25>> that >> we literally get the report. We know who the running back two is. He immediately limps off and is going with the is going
35:32to the trainers. I mean, that is to me that is that is the classic classic training camp stuff. I mean, you just
35:39you don't get you don't get better than that.
35:41>> Chef's kiss, you know. It's it's it's you know that the only difference the only thing that could have been better
35:47is if it was the same tweet.
35:49>> Yeah.
35:49>> You know, >> um I mean we are we are just hoping that one of these guys behind us does not
35:54select Calvin Ridley, but you never know. [snorts] >> Mike Washington, why are you not in on the running back too for
36:02>> No, I'm fine. I'm fine with Mike Washington, but on this build where we have Hubard who could go to zero pretty
36:10quickly, >> we need a player who is going to be like generating touches in in week one.
36:18>> Well, why do you think Katron is? Cuz you're assuming White is going to be a passing down back and that he's might be
36:23better than JC.
36:23>> We we got to take Ridley here, right?
36:25>> Oh, I don't take Ridley, but we'll do what you want. I don't take him.
36:29Um, the reason why you would take Kron is Katron can just he could just be the week one starting running back for the
36:35commies the same way that JCM was.
36:37>> Yeah, but dude that's pattern matching in the worst possible way I think. Like what?
36:41>> I don't I mean I JCM is one of my most drafted guys, but it like that is in the range of outcomes for the Washington
36:48Commanders.
36:48>> Yeah, but you're taking him I mean I get that at the end of the draft the the capital doesn't matter too much, but I
36:53think it's really thin that like I mean he might not even make the team. He's gonna make he's going to make the team.
36:59It's going to be they're gonna they're gonna do um they're going to do Robert Henry. They're going to do Robert Henry
37:05Jr.
37:06>> What's the upside squad guy?
37:08>> Is he upside the the upside is that he is Chris Rodriguez from last year.
37:14>> I mean he's old too, right? He's 23.
37:17>> Katron.
37:18>> Yeah. Well, I mean I guess he could be Chris Rodriguez and that would be a win.
37:21But um >> that would be a that would be a huge win for a 17th round pick. Videl Videll was fine though. I think Videl is a better
37:27Yeah, I get I get the I get the case.
37:29It's a thing. It's like why I didn't take Taj Brooks. It's why I didn't take Jarres Hunter. Like I I get it. But like
37:33there they are thinner bets than than I think you guys know or at least you guys acknowledge. I feel like it's who
37:39>> Sure. Anybody who's taken Kron Allen like and thinks it's it's like a coin flip that he gets a roll or something
37:45like that. It's I think it's less like I think it's probably more like 10 to 15% that that dude gets what you want.
37:50>> Maybe even less. Maybe like 5 to 10%.
37:53>> Napkin math.
37:56I think it's higher than 5%. I think it is it's between like five and 25% that Katron Allen gets a rush week one.
38:08>> Well, that's a different bet. And I would say that that's true. I would agree with you actually there. That >> then he's probably a he's probably a
38:14pretty good pick given how shaky the other backs are there.
38:17>> Why did he What round did he go in? What round did he get drafted in? That m It does matter.
38:21>> The the fifth round.
38:22>> Okay. Well, it's it's not great. I just I want everyone to know that Chuba Hubard went to zero last year. I just I
38:29I I I love I love all you guys.
38:31>> The chat is chirping that Chuba was hurt last year. I cannot >> Chuba Chuba Chuba went to zero last year. We we we did Chuba Hubard got his
38:40chain snatched.
38:41>> It was embarrassing. As someone who drafted Chuba a bunch last year, it was pretty embarrassing.
38:46>> Guys, I love you, but he went he went 17 rushes, 10 rushes, 000 7.5 9.4 4 1.7 2.5
38:553.8 8.3 20 I do not remember this game at all. Uh that was the game they won.
39:02That was the overtime game. That was the game they won.
39:05>> 4.8 4.4 2.8 3.7. Loved you guys. Have a lot of respect for you guys.
39:11>> He He went to zero. Bro, he hurt his calf. He He hurt it that >> dude. Dude, [clears throat] he hurt his
39:18calf. He He was hurt. He was hurt.
39:21>> His feelings were hurt, Jake. That's the only thing that was hurt. Just his feelings.
39:25>> Not his calf. His feelings don't are not in his calf.
39:28>> I [snorts] I love I love and respect all of you, but this is this is really really bad. This is very very bad
39:34analysis.
39:35>> It's Yeah, it's true. Someone is taking you, but we just took him on the team.
39:38>> We just took him on the team. But I I need you I need you guys I need you guys to be serious. He did. Now, to be fair,
39:45he took his chain back in the postseason. The issue is back. It was given back to him. It was returned to
39:49him. The I was going to say the issue is is that his chain might have been snatched by a guy who has no knees,
39:55right? [laughter] It's uh it's it's an issue.
39:58>> Yeah. The most Yeah, literally a theoretical player.
40:01>> Uh all right. Well, how did we do?
40:04Jordan Love, Tyler Shock, Daniel Jones, CMC, Achan Bree, Chuba, Kamani Videll, Jaylen Wadd, Christian Watson, QJ Worthy, Stribbling, Zachariah Branch,
40:15Ridley, Tyler Warren, Jawan Johnson, Gunner Helm.
40:19>> I think it's a strong team.
40:21>> B+ advancement, B+ ADP, B minus uniqueness. Seems seems fine.
40:26>> Seems pretty good. Yeah, I mean I I think it's a strong team. I tend to build balance. Um like even if I start a
40:32little bit extreme, I try to like catch up and build balanced because you know the crowd isn't always the wisest, but
40:39they kind of know they kind of do know where the p points are going to come from. So I just >> I will I will take any player who is not
40:46currently injured 10 spots after ADP.
40:48>> I will take I will take DJ Moore 10 spots after ADP. I will take Baker M. I will take any player 10 spots after ADP.
40:57whatever whatever opinions I have are so weakly held that that I mean this is basically like the I think that something that people don't like about
41:07baseball is it doesn't particularly reward player takes like who's the guy I always forget his name FFB something >> Wizard FB Wizard
41:17>> he he has advanced the most teams of all time and I believe never had a finals team >> yeah because it was he's so heavy on
41:25Chimera and Henry last I remember >> it just it but the point is the point is is that it doesn't matter,
41:30>> right?
41:31>> You you you basically the way that you get good at best is just trying to build a bunch of like ADP like CLV teams.
41:40>> Yeah.
41:40>> Both real time and closing line that are correlated.
41:44>> Yeah. And I think that like your fades are more important than your stands. If you if you fade, even soft fades, even mild fades, like just
41:52like having under the field on the right guys in the earlier rounds is more important than I think hitting a lot on
41:58like the later guys because that's I know that's probably not a popular opinion, but that's it's worked out as at least as as far as advancing.
42:06>> See, I would say this is basically the dumbest thing imaginable. Like, no. What matters most what? Like, I don't know.
42:12>> What matters the most is getting yourself as many shots on goal as possible and putting yourself in the position to be to take advantage of
42:18luck.
42:19>> Like, you need to put yourself in the position to take advantage of luck and it's going to take years and years and
42:23years.
42:24>> It's just going to take years because you can't determine when the luck comes, you know?
42:28>> Yeah. I mean, I I would just say most people are probably bad, but it's obuscated by the fact that it's
42:36a game with a ton of variance. like you would need >> you would just need so many different slates >> to play out to have idea.
42:47>> You're totally right because um like your player take people come into this from uh Dynasty and from reddraft where player takes matter a lot because you
42:55only have a handful of teams usually and then you come into this and you're like well this is how I draft um and then you
43:00end up with like 30% Rashad Penny and that doesn't work out. So then you try then you try and think about having a
43:07little bit of hubris while still presenting as as though you're confident and drafting like you're confident. But I mean you really need to just be open
43:14at taking everybody.
43:16>> So we're going to do a Badge Bros Brawl before my guy Derek Brown from Fantasy Pros pops on. I would say like two
43:22things you need to know strategically in the Badge Bros Brawl is you got to take three quarterbacks, you got to take
43:29three tight ends because you are going to need giga spikes at those positions every single week to be the advancing team in your pod. And actually the thing
43:39is is the ADP is a little bit weird and you can scroll and you can do some weird stuff, but most people are probably
43:49going to scroll a little bit too much is is kind of how it works.
43:54>> Yes. Um this is my first Badge Bros Brawl, so I'm I'm going in kind of blind as to how to approach this thing.
44:01>> All right. Well, it's a regular baseball draft, but instead of 12 teams, there are six teams.
44:06>> Okay.
44:07All right. So, 18 rounds and you just have everybody stacked.
44:11>> You stacking obviously is is super important. Um same same roster construction, same same scoring, you know, that's uh it's how it works.
44:19>> I would assume like overstacking might be the play.
44:23That could be interesting.
44:24>> The thing is the thing is is you need big ceiling winks.
44:28>> Overstacking the right teams, I guess.
44:30Yeah.
44:30>> Yeah.
44:31>> Or the undervalued teams, >> let me tell you. So, a big thing that I've noticed, we're gonna start with JSN.
44:38>> Sure.
44:40>> What you what you really really need is you actually need the giga mega ceilings at wide receiver. I mean, obviously
44:48Bejon and CMC and James Cook and all these guys are going to be really good, >> but you know, >> and we're going to take St. Brown as
44:56well.
44:56>> All right.
44:58So, I I kind of just I kind of just uh had this epiphany this morning, which is that when we get to when we get to week
45:0510, JSN and St. Brown are still going to project insanely well. No one else is going to be like these six wide
45:13receivers who just went Chase Puka, JSN, St. Brown, Lamb, and Jefferson >> are in their own quadrant, their own group of projection
45:23at wide receiver. Maybe you could argue for AJ Brown in London. I would disagree with you.
45:29>> Um >> I tend to agree. I think an immediate gal brain that I have is like take ADP followers at wide receiver and running
45:35back for the first like four or five rounds and then stack teams that everybody thinks are >> The issue is and we already got sused
45:42out by this one, which is that Bowers and McBride are the two most important men alive in this contest. They're they're super important. [snorts]
45:49>> Well, not in this universe.
45:51>> Which running back do you want to take here? Well, let's take KW3. Let's take Kenny.
45:58>> Fine. Fine with that.
46:01And then we can ship uh >> I have a hard time with Hampton. I have a hard I don't know about the Brawl, but
46:06I have a hard time with Hampton.
46:08>> Well, we can take Coulson Lovelin with our next pick.
46:10>> Oh, yes, we can.
46:11>> We can take We can take uh our our generations. I I think the the one thing that people have not quite grasped about
46:18this format is how important the these these tight ends I I would even include Loveland in there. I I mean obviously he's a different category of
46:29projection, but I I actually the the day the contest opened, I just fired um like five of these off real quick and I
46:38took Bowowers and McBride both like I took both of them. Um, and I think they they've patched that a little bit. It's
46:44harder to get because people understand the contest a little bit more, but right, it's it it's the biggest edge in the contest. I think
46:51>> I can totally see that. Um, I mean, you can convince me of anything, especially >> you're not having to do the cl I mean,
46:59this is the classic problem in fantasy football. Uh, name name someone you want to take here. Anyone anyone you want.
47:05>> Um, give me give me Devont. Give me Devont Smith.
47:12So the, you know, the classic thing in fantasy football is, yeah, it's so it's so nice to have Brock Bowers's points,
47:18but that means I'm starting Jaylen Warren at running back, too. That that problem doesn't exist uh in this format.
47:24I'm going to take Javvante Williams.
47:26>> O, I Dude, you Breeze Hall is going to is going to be the key this year.
47:32>> Bree Hall is going to be the key. He's going to be >> he's in that he's in that spot where
47:36where he's going to do in my opinion is going to matter a lot. He's in the Saquon and the JT spot. It's going to be
47:42him. People left him for dead. They're disappointed. He's super talented. He's got the opportunity. He just got paid. I mean,
47:50>> I think that that Bree Hall is kind of a he's like a pretty good baseball pick because he's just going to kind of grind
47:59out a bunch of 14 15 point games. But it's hard to see to me it's hard to see the maximum ceiling for a team that is
48:08going to be bottom third in the league in total touchdowns of just a lot of Bree cannot give up any highv value
48:14touches to Isaiah Davis or Brilen Allen if he's going to be the guy that matters that much.
48:19>> Ideally you don't want him to. Yeah. Um but I mean he's gonna get a lot of work through the air as well I think. And he
48:26breaks them. He we've seen him break them. We know he can break them. Dude, I think Breece is a top is probably like
48:30the fifth most talented running back in the league for sure. Bree is that good.
48:36>> Who do you want to take?
48:37>> Um, I don't know [snorts] about the strategy here. Should we take another running back? Feels like it.
48:42>> Yeah, I think we should.
48:43>> Jacobs then.
48:45>> Yeah, I I like in this format, Jacobs, Neighbors, some of the just some of the the general >> questionable guys. Uh, they released
48:54this contest I think last Thursday, I want to say.
48:58>> Yeah. Um, >> we're up again.
49:00>> Let's also let's nab uh let's nab Caleb.
49:04>> Yes.
49:05>> You you I like again the value over replacement formula changes and finishing quarterback it it it sounds
49:16backwards but finishing quarterback three in this format actually matters more than finishing quarterback three in a 12man based on the way I've thought
49:25through it now. I mean, maybe sacrilegious and Shady will do a bunch of math. They'll say, "Actually, you should be taking Jackson Dart. You
49:31shouldn't be taking you need to you need more you need more projectable points, but you if you particularly, I think, want to have the spike week rushing
49:39quarterbacks." Um, >> do you think that you could get weird with this one? And so, is what is it two of six advance at first or one from the
49:48off?
49:49>> Uh, one.
49:50>> Okay.
49:52If you did like uh four QB and made three shitty, >> you wouldn't you would not want to do >> if you did like Gino Jacobe and Deshun
50:01Watson, >> you would not want to do four because you the the flex scores are going to be so high in this format.
50:09>> Well, maybe we hold off on the other two quarterbacks unless you already have two. Do you have >> That's fine. I took I took Rome for us
50:15there because we're going to do a little little double.
50:17>> I I'm in on Rome, unfortunately. didn't want to be, but my hands are tied.
50:22>> I'm I'm I'm lower than the market on Rome for sure.
50:28>> We need to save quarterback. Don't take quarterback here.
50:32>> All right, >> save it. Let's try and like try and get Gino and Brassette later.
50:38>> We We're not taking Jacobe Brassette in this format.
50:41>> Why?
50:43>> He's not He's a bad pick.
50:45>> Why? Tell me why.
50:47>> Just not just doesn't project for enough raw points. He would have to be so lowowned in the overall contest. And I I
50:54my guess is >> is he going undrafted?
50:57>> Yeah.
50:58>> Like easily undrafted. You should Oh, you should definitely take him. He's going to What do you mean he project?
51:02How what do you think he's going to project for?
51:04>> So three So three times six is 18. So 18 quarterbacks get drafted and 18 tight ends.
51:11>> Okay. All right. Yeah. How many how many times is Jacobe Brassette going to be one of the best 18 quarterbacks versus
51:18how many times is he drafted?
51:20>> Okay. Well, I guess that's true. If if when's the cut off for when quarterbacks stop getting drafted? Who Who's like the
51:26last quarterbacks with an ADP in this?
51:29>> Uh well, quarterback 18 would be Jordan Love.
51:33>> All right. My idea is out the window.
51:36It's gone.
51:38>> Yeah, I know.
51:40>> I do do that a lot. I've been drafting a lot of those guys in in regular basketball mania.
51:46>> Um, we could do now Goff. There's a guy who go, you know, Goff will not be 100% drafted. Let's do that. So, we have Goff
51:53St. Brown.
51:54>> Okay.
51:54>> Um, >> and what about I mean, do you want to take Dak too with Javvante?
52:00>> Uh, probably not because I don't love taking person. We can take You know what, Buck? I'm gonna give I'm gonna
52:06give one to you here.
52:07>> You gonna give me Tucker Craft?
52:08>> I'm gonna give you Tucker Craft. Oh yeah, my man. Go ahead. Start on pup, baby. That's okay. I knew it. I knew
52:15you'd be there.
52:16>> Do you think he will be I I don't know.
52:19I I hope he will.
52:22>> Tucker Craft is going to be I mean Tucker Craft is if he is who he has been uh with Dobs leaving. Dos leaving is big
52:29for Craft. I think the type of targets that he would get.
52:31>> Dobs leaving is is big for my guy Matthew Golden. Wow. Here we go. Fire hose. [clears throat] Arman quote walked
52:38off practice field then skipped his scheduled media appearance.
52:43>> Oh [ __ ] that's crazy.
52:46>> We could I was gonna say we could we could probably get We could probably steam >> That's crazy. We could we could stream
52:56him to We could uh stream We could steam him to the two three turn.
53:01>> I was just going to say he could go to the two three turn if something's wrong with Raandre.
53:06Who knows though? Maybe I mean if he walked off then what could it be? Did he get mad? He's not the kind of guy to get
53:11mad. I mean maybe he is. I don't know him personally I suppose.
53:17>> Marijuana suspension at the University of Oklahoma Stevenson.
53:21>> That's a that's my guy right there. Good for him.
53:23>> Yeah, >> brothers in arms.
53:26>> Uh I mean we could even >> Pitts.
53:31>> We could I was going to say we could we could even do another tight end. I think price price to me is the last of like
53:37the the actually the premium tier of >> run. And we have JSN too. It's a nice little interesting stack with JSN. This
53:44is a fun format. This is fun. This could this could be a fun thing to do. I just I feel like I would completely get
53:50distracted from my normal routine.
53:53>> All right, here we go. Derek just sent this to me. Running back Andre Stevenson also walked off the field at the very
53:59end of practice. M >> big day for Kahan Booty, Eli Rarden, and Hunter Henry.
54:05>> I mean, I did not expect the level of steam on the booty. The booty clapping will not stop. Big booty. Big booty is
54:12everywhere.
54:13>> Do you think Do you think it's just Do you do Do you believe that it is just completely coordinated to try and up his
54:19trade value?
54:20>> I mean, I I think you're just looking at a guy who has a connection with May and and Brown and Dobs are building it.
54:26That's all. I think I think Booty's better than you guys do and now he's going to have no [ __ ] pressure on
54:31him.
54:32>> No one's gonna cover that guy anymore.
54:34>> They're astroturfing to try and get a third round pick for him is what's happening.
54:38>> I mean, if that's the case, then he wants it, too, because he's laying out for these catches. So, if that's the
54:43case, then he wants it, too.
54:44>> Is is is Herbert being engaged to a pop star uh bullish or >> It's about the most bearish possible thing that could happen. You're lucky
54:53Holmes married a normal person. Yeah, you I need I need my quarterback beyond locked in. I need my I need my
55:00quarterback 10 out of 10 locked in.
55:03>> Like just watch Travis Kelce and see how terrible he's going to be this year because he's distracted because he he
55:07knows he's married to a billionaire and doesn't have to be doing it.
55:10>> All right. I love Malik Willis for this format where I'm like, man, although let's just take love. We have the we
55:18have the two Packers. So my my my thinking for liking Malik Willis is the spike weeks, but actually the rushing stuff is much more of a floor giver than
55:29a ceiling giver when you don't have the associated passing stuff. And we're >> the passing stuff is not going to be
55:35there for Malik Willis. It's really not >> it. It can't possibly be unless unless they're just trying they picked him to
55:41do something else other than what he does.
55:43>> Give me Give me a wide receiver buck.
55:45Um, take how many time we got? 16 seconds. Scroll up to the top.
55:53Take Reed. Take Reed.
55:56>> All in. All in on the Green Bay Packers.
55:58Yeah, he's >> fine. This is actually kind of what I was thinking like overstack a team that goes mid to later that we might be
56:06underelling.
56:08>> You know, >> my guy my my flock league comrade Zufa here. Only ring Herbert is going to get.
56:14They're saying it. They're saying it more and more. I'm hearing it.
56:17>> That is kind of brutal to be honest with you.
56:20>> All right, Buck. I'm about to send you on your way. What would you like to tell the >> um go check out my YouTube channel, Buck
56:26St. Thomas, Buck St. Thomas Fantasy Football. I'm doing um fun videos.
56:30They're edited edited drafts and um I do a review of the team with my mother-in-law who I've been playing fantasy with for like 10 years. She
56:37plays DFS Showdown and she's better than me.
56:40>> It's a good of of all hooks that could exist for a baseball channel. It's like a little, you know, there's a little
56:45wholesome element. Even though, you know, we're, you know, we're not exactly talking about the most wholesome thing, it's it's it's fun. I hope you go check
56:51it out. I hope you subscribe. And um I'm planning on continuing to make videos with her throughout the year.
56:58>> I love that. I love that for you. And now you can give me one final wide receiver.
57:03>> Godwin. Godwin for the win.
57:06>> Chris Godwin is who Buck wants to select. Just a dusty, dusty old man.
57:11There you go. Caleb Williams. Jared Goff, Jordan Love, Ken Walker, Javvante Williams, Josh Jacobs, Tutin Price, JSN, St. Brown, Devont, Roma,
57:21Dunce, Ricky Persol, Jaden Reed, Chris Godwin, Coulson Lovelin, Tucker Craft, and Kenyan Sadique Buck. Thank you very much for your time, brother.
57:29>> Thanks, Davis.
57:31>> All right, welcoming in my guy Derek Brown, Dbro FF from Fantasy Pros, my my man. Thank you very much for hopping on
57:40with me, brother. Davis, you got me. You can hear me. Okay. I'm I'm having to reassemble the the setup after traveling
57:46to the damn expo. So, you know, this is all hot mics right here. So, >> we're good. You're locked in. Your audio
57:52is great. We're going to draft a baseball mania team. You're kind enough to give me a little bit. Man, I should
57:57have worn >> Are you shotgun approaching this today?
57:59Like, are you just rattling off draft after draft today?
58:02>> Oh, that's what we do, brother. That's what we do. Let me tell you, you know, in in in uh in our neck of the woods,
58:09you can lose people. You can lose people quickly, brother. So, you got to like, you know, their their attention attention spans are are like this out
58:16here. So, we are >> Are you up to like 2K drafts right now?
58:19Where are you at right now? Cuz I know the volume's got to be massive.
58:23>> Uh, as of right now, my most recent update, 1,510 uh imported imported drafts. Now, now that does not include um drafters.
58:34>> So, we don't have that on our back end yet. So, I I I'm probably closer to 1750. So, we are we are approaching the
58:42uh the 2,000 mark. What's uh what is draft volume like over in your neck of the woods right now?
58:47>> I started slow this year. I'm probably somewhere around the like mid 200s and stuff, but I'll be up around 500, but
58:53when it's all said and done, I'm going to slam some drafts.
58:55>> Well, that is what we call um a mentally healthy approach [laughter] to drafting fantasy football teams. I >> Dude, I've had I've had 2K years as
59:03well. I've kind of backed off a little bit with the volume over the last few years, but you know, it's it's been
59:08good. Um few top five top 10 finishes over on Drafters over the years, so we'll take that. Yeah. Uh did you see
59:15the Did you see the new tournament on Drafters that they they launched yesterday?
59:18>> Not I got to log into it. What did they drop yesterday?
59:21>> Okay, so this is this is actually I I was hoping they would do this. I was talking to them last week and they were
59:26saying they were planning it, but they launched a survivor >> style contest. So the top 75 of the field based on like a cutline score
59:35advances each week. So 25% of the field gets chopped down to a 125 person final.
59:44>> Yeah. So really looking forward really looking forward to hopping in that. And uh we have a turn pick here and you are
59:52you are uh >> hey I will I will defer to you. So I'm hoping hoping to learn hoping to get some player takes here. I mean over
59:59there at the turn, Genty, Cook, Walker, Hampton, kind of what is what is your general preference on that side of the
60:06board?
60:07>> I It kind of depends what the room is doing. Like if they're letting because I know we're also running back centric
60:12right now. I James Cook is a must for me right now. And good lord, he goes what 105 here. So apparently the room is wise
60:20to my Cook love. Um really was hoping there.
60:24>> That's probably that's probably the earliest.
60:26>> That's the highest I've seen him go.
60:27Yeah.
60:28>> Yeah.
60:29>> Yeah. Hey, sometimes sometimes it uh sometimes you're the hammer, sometimes you're the nail. Maybe maybe we'll be in a we maybe we'll be in a little bit of a
60:37of a weird room. That's okay. That's okay. All right. I mean, Jonathan Taylor is still I would I I couldn't I don't
60:45even like Jonathan Taylor, but getting Okay. Well, there you go.
60:47>> Well, there you go.
60:48>> Um All right. We are We are up. Whoever you would like to take here, sir.
60:52>> I mean, let's just double tap running backs here. Davis, what do you think about Genty and either one of Genty
60:57Hampton and Kenneth Walker? Two of those three I'm good with.
61:00>> You know what? Genty, Kenneth Walker is a start I love and it's a start that I love with my heart. I mean, hey, you
61:08>> I was going to lean into your Chiefs fandom here a little bit.
61:11>> Well, I was going to say you played the game for a while. You've been around you've been around the block. You are
61:15with me and that you remember once upon a time Andy Reid running back. Now in now in fantasy football we go, "Oh,
61:21these Chiefs running backs horrible."
61:24>> Andy Reid running back used to be the special sauce. That used to be that used to be as good as it could possibly get
61:30would be having a running back with Andy Reid.
61:33>> I used to love it, man. I mean, like I think like what you're talking about though, like with the last few years, I
61:38mean, the Clyde Edwards, Kareem Hunt issues have absolutely crushed us. But if we go back to all this, I think it
61:45also kind of goes just from all the rookie stuff, like going back to Kenneth Walker as a rookie. People don't understand how good of a pass catcher he
61:51is. Like on a per route basis, he's been top 12 in yards per route run, first downs per route run. We just haven't had
61:58the route share run out, Davis.
62:00>> No. No, we haven't.
62:02>> Who would be stealing routes for him for the Chiefs? I mean, I guess maybe there there's a chance they try and persist
62:08with D Marcato, but I this is this is my read of the situation, and maybe I'm too close to it and and I'll be wrong, but
62:16my read is that Brett Vch didn't even particularly want to go get Kenneth Walker, >> but Reed and Momes and the rest of the
62:24like the offensive line, they were like, "Dude, we are sick of this. We are sick of busting our asses and handing the
62:30ball to Kareem Hunt and our season being on the line and Bashard Smith getting big big work. Like I I I would not. So
62:37the year that Walker only played 11 games, he averaged 4.6 receptions per game.
62:42>> My instinct would be that he's pretty close to that this year.
62:48>> I agree. I agree wholeheartedly with that. I think like the best receiving back they have probably is like a tie
62:54between Emma Johnson and Bashard Smith.
62:55They did not want to play Bashard Smith at any point last year despite I mean Kareem Hunt success rate is not feeding
63:02families out here Davis. So you know I I I think like again KC has to change the model and I think they're looking at
63:09this too where they've gotten no explosives from their passing attack over multiple years. Mahomes has been struggling as a deep ball passer. So
63:17dialing up explosives on the ground with Kenneth Walker through the air on the ground I think is going to have to be
63:22something that they lean on this year especially in the homes. Like what's your read on the Mahomes? Do you think he starts week one? Because I kind of
63:28look at their schedule and I'm like I hear all the steam and I'm like maybe he starts on the pup this year and then
63:34like they got the week five buy and he's backed ready to rock for week six.
63:38>> I I think he's going to start I think he's going to start week one. I think that I >> if he if he wasn't going to start week
63:45one, I think they would have just had him stay on the pup and stay away from the team because he he's got his own
63:49he's has his own doctors like he has his own um he he actually just has a a >> facility down in Texas um where where
63:58his family is. So I think he would have just stayed there. I I think he's I think he is chomping at the uh at the
64:05bit to get Wow, McBride at 33.
64:08>> We this there is some stuff happening there. All right, we are up in one pick.
64:13Kairen, Lad, Allen, ETN, Devonte, Tet.
64:17What uh what are you thinking here?
64:19>> I'm thinking [snorts] we double tap wide receiver and catch up here. I think it's Wadd and Terry McLaren for me. I'm not
64:24in on Lad this year, but I'm curious your thoughts on him.
64:28>> So, I started out pretty out on Lad.
64:34>> Mostly assuming that Keenan Allen was going to return to the Chargers.
64:37It seems like the tea leaves now are are sounding like Chargers still a possibility.
64:43>> The Colts would be a possibility. The Rams would be a possibility. Mhm.
64:47>> I don't know how good of a fit Lad is for the McDaniel stuff because like I like obviously he's the best wide
64:56receiver on the team >> and you think of Lad is like oh you know short area he's quite quick and stuff
65:02but >> Ty like the issue would be the the Mike McDaniel number one wide receiver has been a first ballot hall of famer like
65:11an alltime freak at the position >> Tyreek >> and I mean lad lad is is not that, you know, he he he is is not that. And I
65:19wonder if it'll actually be more >> kind of egalitarian, you know, like all right, L has a 23% target share, QJ has
65:26a 17%, Gadston has 15%, Kar has 10%, and Jooko has 6%. Like I I wonder if if they're actually >> because outside of Tyreek and Wadd, the
65:38Dolphins stuff, every like everyone was between like a 6% and a 12% target share on the whole team.
65:44>> Yeah. [clears throat] >> Yeah. Yeah, I mean where I'm with with Lad is um kind of a very I agree with a
65:49lot of your points there. And then the other thing about it is if they're going to run so much 12 and 13 and have
65:53multiple tight end sets, like I look at all their their tight ends, I think we're going to see like a Rams or
65:58Seattle kind of committee approach like everybody's getting a 30 to 35% route share.
66:02>> So I'm really not in on any of their tight ends. But with Vlad, as far as like in two wide receiver sets, I don't
66:09know if he's going to play in two wide receiver sets consistently. Davis. Like, could that be a rotation? That could that be QJ and Trey Harris considering
66:15the run blocking and he's a slot only guy? Like the other part about all this lad stuff is at what point of his career
66:22has he shown that he can really Okay, because if you're taking the guy as a wide receiver too, he needs to have wide
66:28receiver one upside for me or have spike week potential. And I just at what point of his career, Davis, have we seen him
66:34earn consistent wide receiver one market share as far as target share, first read, all of this stuff? It hasn't been there, man. It hasn't.
66:44>> It wasn't It wasn't in there in college.
66:46Any any of that stuff for him in college was based on per route stuff. And then >> if you look at what he did as a rookie,
66:53>> he had like good spike weeks, but you know, 24% target share is good. It's not >> great. Yeah. It's not it's not a it's
67:02it's not elite, [snorts] >> you know, >> like if he goes out there and he earns a 21% target share, >> is that really something outside of like
67:12spiking efficiency? And and again, like his size, is he going to be a p like a perimeter like a primary uh red zone
67:18guy? If he's get if he gets like a 21% target share and he gets six to seven touchdowns, is that wide receiver one
67:26worthy or are we just drafting a guy as a wide receiver two and saying, "Please, dear Lord, be a wide receiver two."
67:32>> I think the big thing that is different for him is that Well, let's make these picks here real quick. What are you What
67:37are you thinking?
67:39>> Um I'm in between. Do we go Jane Daniels at one of these picks and Parker Washington and Carninal Tate? Like
67:45trying to make up a wide receiver. Like do you want to go quarterback with one of these or do you want to double tap
67:49wide receiver?
67:50>> I think we should take Daniels because we made a pretty big bet on McLaren. So, let's do that. And then you're uh you're
67:56pew over Carnell Tate.
67:58>> I am for the upside. Like I think you can you can craft a narrative for both of those guys and then it comes back to
68:04like which offense do I want to invest in more, Tennessee or or Jacksonville?
68:08And if T law picks up right where he left off, I mean, dude, Parker Washington was there on St. Brown. Where
68:14are you at on Washington? Are you a team Washington? Are you BTJ or just agnostic?
68:19>> I am team the Jaguars probably themselves don't even really know right now. And so much of it is going to be determined by the rhythms of
68:27what happens in season. Like if Brian Thomas Jr. has a great game week one or just like is really impressive in
68:34training camp, I think Liam Cohen will acknowledge that and use that. If Brian Thomas Jr. is afraid to run over the
68:41middle, struggling with drops, struggling with focus, then I think it'll shift towards Parker Washington.
68:48Maybe Parker Washington it it was I mean he averaged 14.1 fantasy points per game over those final six weeks of the
68:55season. Now, the closest career comps to Parker Washington right now are some of the most hilarious names in fantasy football, guys who are we remember for
69:05being the most overdrafted players of all time. Gabe Davis, Russell Gage, Daenerius Moore.
69:11>> It's not to say he is the same as those guys. And the drum beat has been really consistent. Like I I would be feeling
69:18much worse about Parker Washington if it was kind of just like ah well yeah, you know, we like him. We're going to see
69:24what the role. But like the coaches and Cohen and and Lawrence have been like he looks great. The beat writers have been
69:30he looks great there there's plans to to focus on him. And I mean the biggest variable is how does the defense play?
69:37Because if the if they find like something that I've not heard anyone talk about yet is like okay well what if
69:42these random one of these random Jags defensive backs turns out to just be good like what if some I I mean god
69:49forbid I don't know the Jaguars defensive corners but if the Jags like if if the their fourth defensive back is playing awesome
69:59>> can't Travis Hunter play more on offense? Travis Hunter pretty good. Like it's just they I I think I I think I
70:05literally have between five and 10% of every Jaguars wide receiver.
70:09>> I was going to ask you, are you just going to be like 10% of every guy and and let it roll out the way it's going
70:14to roll out?
70:15>> Yeah. I mean, I I definitely want to be I want to be in on the Jags because I think Liam Cohen is such a phenomenally
70:22good >> coach. I think he's a great pass catcher. I think he's one of the guys that really gets the meta. Now, one of
70:28the things that's kind of interesting, and I I haven't heard a ton of people bring this up.
70:33>> Mhm.
70:33>> So, they take Borcature at pick 56 or whatever. Every freaking team in the NFL is like, "Yeah, we're going to run more
70:39heavy. We're run out of 12. We're going to run 13. Fullbacks are coming back."
70:44>> It gets it starts to get pretty thin.
70:46Like, if Borcature can play 40% of the snaps, which I think would be >> a really Yeah, be really high.
70:53>> But, but yeah, I mean, it's it's in play. They just they they they just took him at pick whatever 56 like they said
70:59let's shock the world and take this guy.
71:02It's uh it would be I mean that would be bad for Pwash and it would it would be really bad for Travis Hunter. It'd be it
71:09would be the worst for Travis Hunter if that happened.
71:12>> Yeah. I And see where I kind of come down on it like I I was actually pulling up the dep chart when you were kind of
71:17rattling through the corners and stuff like Dane Jackson Dane Jackson, Devon Marshall, Jiren Jones. I mean that those I think they
71:26need Hunter on defense this year. So I mean like the other thing about it is we're kind of getting close to the
71:32neighborhood of Hunter has to return high in highend value on some side of the ball or he's going to be a bust
71:38pick. If he's a top 10 top 12 quarterback in the NFL, nobody gives a like what they gave up to go draft
71:43him. If he's another year where he's not an needle mover on either side of it, I know we're about to pick here in a
71:48second. Um then you know then we have problems. Um, >> I think we got to take one of these running backs.
71:56>> I agree with you. Um, do you want to go standalone value or are we going to go high upside with like a Cororum or
72:02something? Or Jonathan Brooks? I'm in on.
72:04>> You're the boss.
72:06>> Let's take Jay Brooks and more more drum beat out of there. I know we're pulling him up the the board a good bit versus a
72:14>> and I actually I think these wide receiver tier is pretty flat. So I would say downs downs or Harvey. Um,
72:22let's go. Let's go downs. I'm fine with that.
72:26>> Yeah. I mean, Downs is gonna be >> We made our best with running backs, too. Going running back running back.
72:30So, if they're if they're not the guys, then we're screwed anyway.
72:33>> Yeah. You know, it's uh it's it's kind of funny, and I always I always appreciate this, but like there's definitely a different like a huge
72:41difference this year in my mind between fantasy football and baseball. like >> like hu like probably the most difference there's ever been in terms of
72:52how the market works. And I'm starting to transition my attention more to fantasy football. Like my home league drafts coming up, high stakes drafts are
72:59starting, all that stuff.
73:00>> And the the texture of the boards is so so different. Whereas like I probably don't have very many best teams built
73:09like this where I wouldn't have taken my third running back until >> 84. But this is like I think this is
73:15like a very standard build in a reddraft style situation. I mean, where do you come down on the crazy early running
73:22back stuff this year?
73:24>> I think it's a good year to sit here and leverage the market where it is. I mean, if you I mean, it's a great year for
73:29zero RB if you want to do it. Um, and just playing the everybody's this is kind of like last year, the year before,
73:35everybody was all in on Zer RB and that turned out to be, you know, not the thing to do. So, the entire market is
73:41shifting one way. The other thing is just reading the room. I think like building some hero teams and just kind of like playing against the market is
73:48fine with me. Um, just because again like when everybody's swimming in one direction and they're all right or they think they're right, then it's a good
73:55time to leverage it and go the opposite way. But where you come down on it, >> I think that it's almost kind of like
74:01draft spot specific. So from the right side of the board, >> that's fair. I love I love to do these like Genty Barkley Javvante wide
74:12receiver and then like really hope you get one of Tutin or Price there at the 56 turn. Like Tot and Price are two of
74:18my >> overall favorite picks >> right now. I just I think they're I think they're both great picks. Whereas I've in general the Watson, Thomas,
74:27Washington, Tyson, Tate range, I'm like I like all those guys kind of individually in a vacuum, >> but I feel similarly to them how I feel
74:36about Worthy, Reed, Addison, Downs, and Pieraw. I'm like, they're they're probably going to be between 150 and 200 points. And it'll kind of just depend uh
74:45the way in which they they generate like the weeks in which they generate their points. Um
74:52>> we are up in two picks. We have a 1 1340 build. We would have Knicks with Wadd.
75:00Kobe Meyers gives us another Jaguars wide receiver. Um Gainwell, Rashad White are there. Fannon is there. What uh what are you thinking here?
75:10>> I think Knicks with one of these considering the bet we made on a W on Wadd makes a lot of sense and then we're
75:16kind of done. Unless you want like a late QB3.
75:19um these wide receivers like I'm fine with going Meyers or Wandell. I look at them as similar bets and it really just kind
75:27of depends on do we want to play the roulette of Meyers versus Washington and just capsize, you know, I mean as far as
75:33like capture spike week potential with those guys or play also the arbitrage bet of like if BTJ misses time then this
75:40uh this passing offense gets more consolidated. So I'm fine with Myers or Wandelle.
75:45>> All right. Yeah, let's do let's do Jacobe. And this is the uh the Brian Thomas Jr. flames out situation.
75:51>> Yeah, this is the the FA BTJ team basically. Yeah.
75:55>> I mean the the Brian Thomas Jr. he has so few historical comps that make much sense at all. Like the he had such a
76:05uniquely good rookie season and then was so poor last year. It's it it's it's such a situation where
76:16I'm like something else had to have been going on. The injury reporting had to be real. The reporting that like he was
76:22having a tough time because his best friend died before the start of the season. That's got to be real because it
76:28it wasn't like uh you know the other example of a guy who was so good as a rookie and then went down was Michael
76:35Clayton who there was that was injury that was injury related stuff that was like that was like very just it's just so weird but he also is
76:44going to be typ cast into like the least productive role. He's going to have the high average depth of target of any of
76:50these wide receivers which just opens yourself up to huge variance.
76:54>> Yeah, exactly. Like I I don't look at like BTJ as being like that's what people are like I mean obviously he's
77:01their wide receiver one and I'm like is he really like he's the high A dot guy like you look at Jacobe Meyers I'm like
77:07him being a field stretcher or Washington and Meyers like now I will say to the converse of this Washington in that four game stretch where he just
77:15lit everything on fire he did have I think it was like 13 deep targets so he was getting the high cholesterol usage
77:20out of that but like you look at the roles that they're going to play in this offense like BTJ being the field stretcher, like he's probably
77:28the best prototype to do that. Those other guys are not. So, it's kind of one of those situations where he can play
77:34that role and people want to pigeon pigeon hole him into the other roles, but those other guys aren't really the high A dot guys. So, it's kind of like
77:41then BTJ is going to fill that role and that's not a high volume role. like for spike potential at certain parts of best
77:47baseball drafts where he goes like I'm fine taking that depending on the composition of my team but is that somebody I want to lean on as like my
77:54wide receiver three for a team? Not really.
77:58>> And Brian Thomas Jr. will probably be a guy as we're transitioning a little bit more to like reddraft and things like
78:04that. I I'm probably going to be a little bit less interested. Um >> yeah.
78:09>> Yeah. The J the Jags are just I mean they're they're such an interesting team because I think all of their positions
78:14are kind of unsettled, right?
78:16>> To your point, BTJ is kind of a baseball only guy for me. Like I don't I don't want to deal with the damn headache of
78:21him and manage leagues. Like I can get that type of archetype later in drafts.
78:25>> I mean I think I think honestly like all the Jaguars like a lot of it is going to be game game game plan specific weeks.
78:32Like I'm a huge tootin guy but there are going to be weeks where the team is like yeah like we're just gonna battering ram
78:37with Chris Rodriguez. like we're just we're we're going to lean on them. We're going to play heavy. We're going to play
78:42downhill and it'll be frustrating, but it just kind of it just kind of is uh it kind of is what it is. All right, we are
78:49up here in a little bit. We have Daniels, Nicks, Genty Walker, Brooks, Jaylen Wadd, Terry McLuren, Parker Washington, Josh DS, Jacobe Meyers. I
78:59think we need one of these running backs here probably at this turn to be fine with a tight end here. Um, Chig gives us
79:08a stack. What uh what are you thinking here?
79:11>> I think either going Chi or Dalton Concincaid with one of these. Like this feels like a good team to take the
79:17upside swing on Daltton Concade because like if he is a full-time player, which again I I highly doubt, but if this team
79:23building makes a lot of sense. Did he go?
79:24>> We got we got snapped. So, we can take we can take Chig with our first pick and then I think we should take one of Crod
79:32Tracy or Katon. And I'm kind of deferring to you like if you have a guy like you like here as far as running
79:37backs. Um because I can make you a case for a lot of different guys like us.
79:41This feels like a C-Rod team also. Like we've already made some Jacksonville bets.
79:45>> Yeah, I was going to say I think we I think we just go with that. And Crod it does seem like the reporting from this
79:50morning does seem like he is going to avoid the pup list. Do I think Crod is that good of a pick?
79:56>> No, I don't. Do I need to hedge a little bit? Cuz Toutton is I I think my most drafted running back right now. He's
80:02He's mine, too. I'm all in on him. So, like, this just feels like a good hedge spot.
80:07>> Yeah. And you can do that across you.
80:10You can do that across your portfolio.
80:11Honestly, it's to me it's not that painful to take Chig next to Concaid.
80:15Like, I think we all get it. Honestly, they're very similar bets. Neither of them have ever been a full Yeah. They've
80:21never been a full-time player. Chig has the the closest like this is the best opportunity of his life to be a
80:28full-time player.
80:29>> Yep. Frankly, the Bills probably need Dalton Concaid to be a full-time player for them to really ascend as an offense.
80:38And if he's healthy, he can probably do it. One of the things I I've not heard a ton of people make this point, but one
80:44of the things that having a banged up knee, it's going to be a lot harder to run block with a banged up knee, a lot
80:49harder to generate leverage, a lot hard like you're just going to be weaker, right? Your technique is going to be worse. You're not going to be as strong.
80:55So, if he is actually healthy, not only should that free him up to like run more routes, but it should free him up to I
81:01mean, it's what we saw with Kyle Pitts, right? Kyle Pitts sucks. He sucks. He sucks. Oh, he played 92% of the snaps
81:06last year. He was good for fantasy. I mean, that's all we need for a Kinc Kade.
81:10>> Yeah. I mean, literally like on a per round basis, I I think I tweeted this out about a month ago, like Kade every
81:15single damn category he's first in. Like everything. So, like >> per route run, yards per route run, all that stuff.
81:21>> First downs per route run, route win rate, like everything. like everything.
81:25So, like if he becomes a 65 70% route share guy, he smashes. But >> the question is, does he do that? And
81:31I'm like, yeah. I mean, I think like especially with this team bill we have going, I mean, this is obviously like a
81:36three tight end team. So, we're just looking at like spike weeks and the route shares don't matter because we're just kind of like making it up in the
81:42aggregate here.
81:44>> Yeah. Um, I think I think that's good. I mean, I I love a three tight end team. I think there are are like unique
81:52opportunities like this group of Schultz, Doulich, Helm, Ferguson, Frierouth. I mean, man, these these I think these guys are are all phenomenal
82:01picks, >> dude. The other guy that I like I'm sprinkling in because he's basically free and I've got I'm really in on
82:08Jaylen Herz this year is taking Eli Towers when he's free with the correlation to Herz late as well as like he's not getting drafted. It's like you
82:17have the contingent upside of Dallas goes out. What are they doing? Are they starting Calcara? Like come on. Like Elvis Sters will be a part of that team
82:24and and you're making the same kind of bet is like everybody's making with Kenyan Sadi or Gatston or anybody at this point
82:30>> for sure. Um okay, we are about to be up again at 2451.
82:36Um none of these quarterbacks really make a ton of sense. Wide receiver, running back could be okay here. I'm not huge on Stranger Henry, honestly. No,
82:44I'm not.
82:45>> What would you be thinking here?
82:46>> I'm thinking David B or Denzel Boston. I said David. Good lord.
82:50>> Yeah. Hey. Hey. I'm there.
82:52>> I think the difference between ADP and Boston and Conpsion shouldn't exist because we're making a bet of like everybody says they know who the clear
82:59Brown's number one wide receiver is.
83:01>> That bet could be wrong. I I loved Boston as a prospect, too. So, I think he's just free money where he's going.
83:07>> Uh and then I mean one of these running backs might make sense. What uh what are you thinking?
83:13Um, we did like >> Bsby or Coleman. I'm I'm >> Oh, you know what? Coleman Coleman is better. Yeah, >> making the bet with the the Denver
83:21offense. Yeah, >> I thought Boston was a fine prospect and I like slightly prefer Conpion, but you're so right that for for Conpsion to
83:30be a 10th round pick and Boston to be a 13th round pick, they're they're they pretty much project >> like backtoback with one another like
83:39like if you're if you're doing projections. Judy also could like pretty easily be a trade. Uh if the Brown if the Browns agreed to eat some of his
83:48money, I would actually assume he he maybe is even more likely >> to be traded. So I >> duty a future commander.
83:58>> Well, I >> if Digs is not there, Keenan Allen, I mean, it's it's not impossible.
84:02>> I think I'm playing it like Diggs is going to be a command. I mean, what is your what is your read on that whole
84:07situation with Diggs and Debo and Aayuk and all those guys?
84:11>> Um, I I don't think we see considering all the goofiness with Aayuk off the field this year. I don't think we see
84:16him on the field this year. So, I've kind of like faded him. Um, I did get some exposure earlier in baseball
84:21drafts. I'm fading him now. Debo, I think, is just cooked. So, I'm not even drafting him. But, Diggs I've been all
84:27in on because I think as soon as he signs Davis, where's he going? Round seven, right?
84:32>> Yeah. I've been saying I've been saying depending on the landing spot. I mean, assuming it's [clears throat] not the if
84:36it's not the Ravens, >> Diggs can get to the 80s. If it's the Ravens, it's probably more like the hundreds.
84:43>> Yeah.
84:43>> Um I mean, Debo, >> I mean, he was worse last year in in a full-time role. Like 11.5 points per
84:51game in a full-time role. But he I mean, even still, >> he's going to rise to the 120s probably when when he signs. I mean, Keenan, if
84:59if this Keenan to Colts smoke is real, he probably gets to the 140s. Like I I mean it's it's an I just don't really
85:07know what the market's doing not taking these guys.
85:09>> No, I agree with you. And I think like the same thing with um I've been mixing exposure and I'll just talk the table
85:14now since he's already gone. Like I'm mixing exposure with Alvin Chimera and even James Connor late because I I think that you know Chimera has been priced in
85:23like he's been basically dead all off season and I think like he's one of the reasons why I'm fading Travis Chan um
85:29where he's going because I think Chimera is going to play a bigger role in that backfield and James Connor is one
85:35practice away from Detroit realizing Isaiah Pacheco is total dust to getting traded to Detroit and then he vaults up into that like RB 30 to 40 tier.
85:46I mean, James Connor, and it wouldn't it wouldn't even be him. I mean, Dallas, like Dallas could do it. The Raiders
85:52have a a fifth round rookie from Arkansas as their backup running back.
85:57They might decide. They don't want to do it. Like, they're they're a lot the the Packers don't have a real running back,
86:03too. You know, they're >> Vikings got a bunch of guys that can't play three downs or stay healthy. Like, would that be so surprising?
86:09>> No. No. I I completely I completely agree. Uh, okay. We are working on a 2561 build. So I definitely think we
86:17want to take one tight end if not two here.
86:21>> Uh wide receiver, I mean Williams gives us a stack. Judy we were talking about.
86:26I really like Jeremy Bernard.
86:28>> Um probably good on running back. We wanted to take a third. It's just Jacob at quarterback so probably not there.
86:36What what are you thinking?
86:38>> I'm thinking tight end here. Um I love Doulish this year. I mean, he was a top 12 guy in every per route metric. Um,
86:44and I know I feel like we're kind of doing what we did in previous years with, you know, Albert O and everybody
86:49and Chig. Um, but they don't have anybody to catch the damn ball in Miami.
86:53So, like it to see that type of run out for him, it would not be insane. And I'm fine with either going like wide
86:59receiver. If we want to go Antonio Williams and make the bet against Stefon Diggs, considering we're both kind of overweight on Diggs, I'm fine. Yeah.
87:05Kind of like this is kind of becoming the hedge team, Davis.
87:08>> It is. Hey, sometimes sometimes it works that way. I was like I was like pretty ambivalent about Williams as a prospect,
87:15but also it is kind of one of those things >> every single day that Diggs or Debo or Keenan or whomever is not a commander.
87:24That's another day of reps for Williams.
87:26That's another day for him to impress the coaches. It's another day for him to learn the playbook. It's another day for
87:31him to practice with Jaden Daniels. Like it it it's it's just kind of funny. Like I was talking about this with dribbling.
87:38Christian Kirk getting injured now is maybe even bigger for dribbling than Christian Kirk getting injured in week one or or right before week one because
87:47right now >> I would I mean I would assume that it's Deshawn Stribbling practicing with Pertie not like I don't know River
87:54Crackra or Danny Gray or whatever depth wide receiver there's hanging around on the 49ers. Like these are these are really important reps for these rookie
88:02players I think.
88:03>> Oh, agreed. cuz if he's not getting reps with the ones early and it's later in training camp, you can just kind of
88:08chalk this up as to like a possible red shirt season. But I agree with you like this is the kind of run out with like
88:14Christian Kirk getting hurt where you see a dribbling taking reps with the ones over a Demarcus Robinson over even somebody like a Jordan Watkins who they
88:22had last year. So I I I emphatically agree with that because if not he's buried on the depth chart and he's
88:27running with the twos and threes for the entire camp.
88:30>> That's true. Yeah. Pertie Pertie said dribbling is a [clears throat] baller and I I've got a lot of trust in him
88:35which is uh if you're look if you're looking for a reason to take a guy in July that that's what it's all about.
88:42>> Yes.
88:42>> Uh yeah I mean Kahan Booty the the star of Patriots camp. I don't know if I believe I don't know.
88:47>> I don't believe that. That's all trade nonsense. Like >> people like I saw some of the stuff where it was like Romeo Dobs isn't even
88:53playing in two wide receiver sets. I'm like dude y'all are getting ridiculous.
88:56So, they go out and they give the contract to the guy early in free agency to make him like a rotational wide
89:02receiver. Like, what are we doing here, man? Come on.
89:06>> Yeah. No, I I completely I completely agree. Um, all right. So, we are about to wrap this team up. Probably one more
89:13tight end. I don't think we need to add a quarterback in here. Are you thinking another running back or one last wide
89:19receiver? I think a wide receiver considering now that I'm looking at this overall build and we got a [ __ ] ton of
89:25week seven buys.
89:26>> Yes, somebody with some alternate um because I didn't even look at that. I'm looking at quarterback um who again like I don't think we're
89:35alternating buys there. Yeah, we're good.
89:37>> No, no, we're good. We're good there.
89:38>> I think Sters I just kind of made the case with him uh makes a ton of sense and I think getting another wide
89:44receiver if you're down with that Davis because we have what five or six running backs. Yeah, we have a two quarterback,
89:50five running back, seven wide receiver, two tight end build. We're gonna take Sters with that first pick.
89:56>> Um, we do have three week seven buys.
89:58Honestly, it's real boring, >> but I do think Ridley like round 18y, >> I mean, look, do I think Calvin Ridley
90:06is that good? Do I think Cam Ward is that good? Not really. Wait, are you gonna do like what what rookie is going
90:12to project better than Calvin Ridley?
90:14>> No. And and the other thing is like we also have the out like you were talking about Jerry Judy. If they decide like
90:19they get a good offer in camp and really like >> cuz he's he's a holdover guy. So like if he gets traded we wouldn't be shocked by
90:26that either.
90:27>> Calvin Ridley is definitely a trade candidate. Yeah. I guess I I don't even know how much money does Calvin Ridley
90:32make.
90:33>> It's probably it's probably a lot of money.
90:36>> Calvin Ridley actually it's a lot less than I thought. 5 million against the cap right now.
90:43>> Oh that's not bad. 15 million dead cap to be traded and the Titans >> the Titans would eat actually the Titans
90:54would eat half of that and then the other the 7.5 and then 5.7 million or 7.5 million would go to his new team. So
91:03that is an angle I I haven't even I haven't even pulled his contract up yet.
91:08Uh my guy DJ says that he just restructured. Well, that restructure makes it a lot easier.
91:13>> That makes it easier. I mean, that's the same thing James Connor did this offseason. It basically makes it easier to move. So,
91:19>> again, >> well, there what what if all of our hope for Stefon Diggs to the Commanders turns out to be Calvin Ridley to the
91:25Commanders, Davis?
91:26>> I was going to say I I really had not considered that until you >> I haven't either. Like, we're workshopping this take right now live.
91:33Yeah, I I really I actually I actually really like that because I mean that's even less money that that is half of
91:39what Diggs is going to ask to get paid.
91:41Digs Digs >> Digs will be out there like one year 12 to 14 million probably.
91:46>> I I would assume I mean I would assume he actually is probably asking for a multi-year deal. That might be the
91:52hangup.
91:52>> One of the one of the hang-ups might be that Diggs is saying, "Hey, I'd like I'd like this to be my last big contract.
91:57I'd like three years 40 million or whatever." Um >> could be.
92:01>> Yeah. which which is kind of funny because in NFL parlance it just means that he's gonna get paid to get cut next
92:07off seasonason probably.
92:08>> Yeah. I mean basically yes then it's just a puffed up one-year deal with like a bunch of funny money on the back end
92:13that it's not really a three-year deal.
92:16Jaden Daniels, Bo Nicks, Ashton Genty, Ken Walker, Jonathan Brooks, C-rod, Jonah Coleman, Jaylen Wadd, Terry McLuren, Parker Washington, Josh DS,
92:26Jacobe Myers, Denzel Boston, Antonio Williams, Calvin Ridley, Chig Doulich, Sters. I do now that Sters is free at the end of these drafts, he's he's
92:36pretty appealing to me. I I I don't really believe this idea that he is >> not going to play. I think their their
92:45best offense >> their best offense includes him on the field instead of Wix or Hollywood Brown.
92:50I I think >> I just look at Sters. It's the same kind of bet you'd be making or we are making
92:56with Terren Ferguson. How is it any different Davis? Like you have so many different tight ends and everybody's like, "Oh, well Terrence Fergus Terren
93:03Ferguson breakout," but then it's like, "Is he going to hop Parkinson? Is he going to hop Higgby?" Like actually like I think it's a a tougher bet to make and
93:12kind of squint and see the path for Terren Ferguson versus an Eli Sters. Am I insane with that?
93:18>> No. No. I I I think I mean Ferguson is certainly going to play more from the jump than Sters, but if no one else gets
93:27injured and I'm like I'm the biggest T for guy in the world, but if no one gets injured, Ferguson is probably capped at
93:33like 50% of the routes. uh if if there's nothing, you know, it's it's a very specialized role inside of that offense.
93:41And that specialized role, like Sters can just be 65% of the routes right away from from >> week four or whatever. Like a lot of it
93:51depends on how good Wix is playing. Like if Wix is playing very well, could be more limited.
93:57>> But I mean, he's got like Lemon might be slow to adjust to the NFL game. Devont Smith could get nicked up. Like I I
94:04wouldn't think they would be like, "Yeah, we are going to treat Hollywood Brown and Darius Cooper like they're just definitely playing over Sters." I
94:13mean, one of the things it's like Sters probably can just play wide receiver.
94:17Probably not probably not that well, >> you know, like he's he can just kind of go out there and and eat some routes,
94:22but >> some in the 18th round sometimes you just want some guys to uh to eat some routes. Well, the other part about this,
94:28I mean, how many years in a row have we seen Dallas Godric get nicked up? Like the easiest path to playing time is just
94:34like behind him there's Johnny freaking Munt and Grant Calcater. So it's like I mean you you they draft Eli Sters even
94:42if he plays say got we play the the thought exercise Gddard is out and then Sters is still like a say he's Dalton
94:51King Kade of Philly like he's a 55 60% route share guy even if he gets the starting job but he's stupid efficient
94:58and he gets reds on work and we get like out of a two a guy we just drafted in the 200s you get four spike weeks out of
95:06him three spike weeks he's still paying off handsomely like even at that point >> he I mean like if he was a wide receiver
95:14second round he would be the cheapest second round wide receiver in the >> yeah free you'd be like you'd be like a
95:20it'd be a guy like where it's like okay I can easily get like that's where it's like the guys where they're like 180
95:27plus and it's like fine I can easily load up at 16% of this guy because I I'm I'm paying 180 to pick 200 kind of
95:35prices like that's not costing me anything.
95:39>> Yeah, I I completely agree. Uh all right, man. What is your what is your offseason content schedule going to be
95:46like over at uh at Fantasy uh betting pros?
95:50>> Dude, it's all trying to So, I got a lot of my uh DraftKit stuff's already live right now. Like my players to avoid, my
95:56players to target. Um I've got my perfect draft article that's live that's pinned at the top of my uh my profile.
96:01I'm going to actually rework that to kind of update it and give it spit shine this week. um which that article has 80
96:09plus players in it literally walking people through every single freaking round. And uh probably not this week, but next week I'm going to probably try
96:17to get my top 200 out, which I've done the last three years in a row, and that's literally 200 players across all
96:23positions, even defense and kickers.
96:25Like I wanted to create something to where if people were like, you know, drafting a [ __ ] ton of basketball teams
96:31or reddraft, like it's the one damn thing that you need to pull up and have on second screen, >> right?
96:36>> Yep.
96:37>> Yeah. Hey, it's valuable. It's valuable work my guy is doing out there. Uh all right, guys. I'm going to get out of
96:43here. I will be back with all of you guys at some indeterminate time tomorrow. We'll uh we'll figure that one out. uh Swastcast this afternoon uh and
96:53then ADP chasing tonight. And we'll see you guys all then.
