0:00All right, boys. We are so back here for DraftKings Best Ball week. We're going to be making our first pick on stream
0:05Jamar Chase at three in the DraftKings Millionaire Maker. I mean, ooh, how long has it been since our last stream? It's been a while. It's been a
0:13while, but I'm glad to be here. This is the best we're going to be able to do for the audio. Going to be home tomorrow
0:18in the friendly confines of my basement.
0:21You guys know how much I love my home and my basement. We're going to be there tomorrow. But, for the rest of the week
0:26here, we are going to continue the celebration of DraftKings Best Ball week. I know they did a ton of the promotions last week, but
0:34they're actually still continuing this week cuz if you go look at your promos page, I believe if you do what it's if you do three of your teams
0:41this week, you get 10 bucks back. If you get 10 of your teams in this week, you get 25 or 30 bucks back. And then if you do,
0:52I think it's if you do 15 of your teams this week, you get 15 DraftKings dollars back. So, little bit of additional
0:58promotion available for us on DraftKings this week. So, shout out to our friends at DraftKings for sponsoring us here on the channel. Going to have some
1:06short-form content up. Did the pre-recorded video that was out on Saturday. But yeah, we're going to draft the DraftKings Milly Maker team. We're
1:14going to hang out. Uh, you know, we're we're on that we're on that part of the long vacation where you're you're at the
1:19last leg, you're cleaning up. Some people have already gone home. You know, we're we're we're definitely at that point. So, we are winding it down. Uh,
1:26the the daily streams, they're back.
1:29They're back. I think I should be able to go live tomorrow. It'll depend on when we get home. And then basically
1:37from I mean, I would basically say from this upcoming Wednesday until the time the season starts, you guys can anticipate a
1:46daily stream on the Davis Matic fantasy football channel. Uh, Mr. RabonaKing, the free tickets have been coming on DraftKings. I mean, first off, if you're
1:56drafting on DraftKings and you plan on doing 150 in the Milli Maker, you get I believe the equivalent of I think about
2:04$400 in rake back.
2:08This week on DraftKings, if you draft at least three teams, you get at least $10 in rake back.
2:14Um last week they gave out a ton of free tickets. There's going to be another DraftKings Best Ball week in August. I'm
2:20aware of that. There are are multiple multiple multiple ways to get rake back on DraftKings. So if you've not gotten any yet, um you have not been applying
2:29yourself. Uh did I enjoy the World Cup final? I mean let's let's call a spade a spade. The World Cup final was bad. I
2:36mean it was a bad game. Argentina had zero shots on target in the first 90 minutes. It was it was a painful painful
2:43watch. Not a great World Cup final.
2:45Third place game was I mean not a great game, but it was at least kind of fun.
2:48But that's kind of how finals always are. They're very tight. No one wants to make a mistake. No one wants to
2:53overcommit going forward. That's that's just the name of the game. You can't you can't be too mad about it.
2:59That's just kind of how she goes. We've got Jamar Chase here. Then I think man, all the running backs went. Even
3:06Jeremiah Love went. Bowers would be the ideal pairing here. Unclear if we're going to be able to get I'm that Bowers
3:13I might not have too many Chase Bowers teams on any current website. Look at that wall of green. Cook, Jeudy, Hampton, Barkley, Achane, Chase Brown,
3:23Derrick Henry, Ken Walker, Jeremiah Love all in a row. By and I I did somehow end up in a lobby on DraftKings where it
3:30seems that everyone is auto drafting, which is uh it's not what you would prefer. Wow, and we do. All right. I mean
3:39I guess that's not getting Bowers too far after ADP. That's getting Bowers three spots after ADP, but man Chase Bowers, if you are going to do something
3:46like a hero running back team or a bimodal uh hero are back or zero running back That's got to be the best start. Jamar
3:54Chase, Brock Bowers has to be the best start. Uh yes, I did I did bet on Spain.
4:01But, you know, who cares? Like I I would have I would have mantra I would have sacrificed whatever money I made on
4:08Spain to have had a much better final night. I mean, we got spoiled with the 2022 final. That's for sure. They
4:16normally are not like that. Um now, do we want to take a wide receiver or do I just want to take Kyren in here?
4:23I'm definitely going to like the running You know what?
4:26Let's do I'm kind of a two-minds here. Let's go Kyren. Let's go Kyren. That that gives me more optionality. Uh have I been drafting during the trip?
4:35Oh, yeah.
4:36Oh, yeah. I mean, I'm in about I'm in about 500 slow drafts. I've been doing some of the fast drafts at night before
4:42bed. Uh any big player take changes?
4:47Hm, I mean, there's been some shifts in the ADP market like it now feels that the whole market now agrees with me on
4:53Jaylen Waddle. So, you can't just get Jaylen Waddle every single time. I've stopped taking one of Judkins or Tooten every time in a round five and kind of
5:03trying to flatten my uh exposures a little bit there. That's been a big thing. Just honestly just been trying to get a bunch of good ADP
5:12value teams though. That's like more than anything that is um that is what I'm trying to shift. Uh the trip I mean,
5:19the trip is one more day and it's been it's been um incredible. It's been awesome. It's been you know, two weeks
5:26is a long vacation, but it's been it's been pretty nice. Am I disappointed in how soft I was as a So You Think You Can
5:32Tow Judge? I mean, don't get me wrong. I would have been happy to crush those guys. They all did great though.
5:40All five of the guys from So You Think You Can Tow, you know, Squares, Cups, O'Hara, uh the Tylers, they did it
5:47awesome. So, you know, there's only so much you could say. If anyone would have been really bad, I would have been happy to tell
5:52them they were bad, but they did quite good. The Normies have officially arrived. I've had to fight tooth and nail to get a quarterback stack going at
6:00ADP. They no longer fall.
6:02I mean, so we've got we've got a lot of forces going on at quarterback right now because not only at quarterback are we
6:09battling against the Normies who are like, "Why can't be left without a quarterback?" We're we're battling against auto-drafters. We are bad I
6:17mean, let's be real. We're also battling against guys like us who have realized that the math is so clear on three
6:23quarterbacks, right? The average quarterback doesn't even matter how good or bad they are. The average quarterback, I mean, Aaron Rodgers, I mean, I think even
6:32Deshaun Watson, should or shouldn't there's two of these guys add points to your roster. So, the math is pretty clear about the three quarterback and
6:39the three tight end stuff. And if that's the case, you know, that's kind of how it kind of how it goes. Although, I will say one of the
6:46most interesting things about Best Ball this year is that the mid-tier quarterbacks are actually probably too cheap. There's probably an argument that the best picks on the
6:55board are like Mahomes, Purdy, Dak, Goff, Kyler, Nix, Jordan Love, Tyler Shuck. I mean, that's kind of the way that I am approaching it right now.
7:03Those guys all feel like really really good clicks compared to the skill position players that go around them.
7:10Uh did I hear the kind words that Levitan had for me on last week's Best Ball Breakfast? I didn't. I didn't, but
7:16shout out to Levitan, a cancer survivor, my guy. Um so, I hope you guys are all saying some kind words to my guy Adam
7:23Levitan.
7:24Did I find the truth in the Commanders running back room while overlooking any glacial lakes? I did.
7:30And it's that I've been right the entire time. The correct Commanders running back to draft right now is De'Von Achane or Roschon Johnson. 100% De'Von Achane
7:39or Roschon Johnson is the guy that you want to be drafting in that backfield. He can add a skillset that Rashad White cannot. Rashad White
7:47is not going to become an above Man, missed out on Jacobs by one pick.
7:51So, I guess that's why I did what I did.
7:53I took Kyren at that last pick so that we can add in Jaylen Waddle right now at pick 41.
8:00Uh yeah, Jaylen Waddle, bang. Real I mean, this is a great start. Chase Bowers, Kyren, Waddle's really nice.
8:06Should be a running back I don't mind taking at 51.
8:10Uh I think it'll swing back to two quarterback now that you can't just get clear stars in round 18. I think what
8:16you would be surprised about is how bad the average skill position player is in this range. Like, Jayden Higgins, Tyron Tracy, Rasheed Shaheed, Diggs, C-Rod
8:24Chick, so many of those guys are going to bust that even quarterbacks that we don't think about being good in fantasy
8:31still add more points.
8:33Like, if Bryce Young averages 14.6 points per game and starts 17 games, he's going to end up being a better pick
8:40than whatever Jabroni zero you took in that round by quite a bit. And so, the math just Basically, the way that this
8:48stuff works, the way that best ball works is the math just tilts towards guys who are consistently generating points. I mean, it sounds so stupid, but
8:55that is that's the big power of the quarterback position.
9:00Okay, this is a huge huge ADP value on Burden.
9:06So, the calculation I've got to run is what are the chances Yeah, you know what?
9:12You only live one time. We're going to take Burden. Kyren Williams, Jamarr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, Luther Burden, Brock Bowers. We're we're going to have
9:18to dig our way out of a hole at running back on this team.
9:22I I just I don't think I can take Tune there. I I think you got to take Burden.
9:26That was that was a half round ADP value on a fourth round pick. I think you have to do Jacobs in that spot. Is it bad
9:34that I love Nix and Baker this year? I mean, Bo Nix led the NFL in passing attempts last year, and there's clearly
9:40quite a bit going on with Baker health-wise that can be an explanatory variable for why he played so poorly last season. I'm I'm
9:50probably less into Baker than I would be if I knew Liam Cohen was still his play-caller. I think that the coaching
9:56situation, the offense that Zach Robinson had designed for the Buccaneers last year left a little bit to be desired. The run game was just a little
10:04bit less creative. There was a lot of, you know, just It was kind of static. It It really did feel like a
10:12watered-down version of the Mc Shanahan system, you know? And we see this all the time in the NFL. Like, obviously it
10:19is a It is a copycat league. The thing that's working is always going to get added on. But, the reason why the true
10:25innovators, the reason why Shanahan, the reason why McVay, the reason why I mean, I think Kevin O'Connell You can even put
10:30in that list is you have to go above and beyond what already existed, and I don't know if there's much evidence that Zach
10:38Robinson is giving me at this point that he is going to go above and beyond. You know, he might just be
10:45kind of one of these Honestly, you know who I would compare him to? I would compare him to Zac Taylor, the Bengals
10:50coach, where you can be you know, you can be part of that tree, but if you don't have the sauce, like if
10:56you don't have the additional regals to add, um obviously Zac Robinson did do a pretty good job with the 2024 uh version of the Atlanta Falcons. A lot
11:07Not Not I mean, not nearly as good with the 2025 version, and now he is heading to be the offensive coordinator for the
11:13Buccaneers. We'll see. Um Young guy, so obviously he could definitely get better. That's actually something we don't talk about with coaches a ton, but
11:21coaches can get worse over time.
11:24Andy Reid. I mean, you want to talk about Andy Reid getting worse over time?
11:28And coaches can improve over time. They can learn. So, Robinson could be one of those guys who learns over time.
11:34Uh my favorite late-round clicks, I mean, Tyquan Thornton is probably my favorite late-round wide receiver. I really like De'Von Achane for the
11:42Minnesota Vikings. I like taking both the 49ers guy, uh Kaelen Black and Jordan James. I think both of them are pretty pretty
11:50strong late-round clicks at the running back position.
11:54Should Christian Watson be a riser with how good he looked off injury last year and how bad the Packers defense will be?
12:00I mean, right rising based off what? Like you want to take Christian Watson ahead of Jameson Williams? You want to take him
12:05ahead of Mike Evans? You want to take him ahead of Luther Burden? I I would not be doing that.
12:11He's He's probably fine. The issue Here's kind of the deal with fantasy football.
12:15If you think someone should go ahead of someone else, generally speaking, there probably needs to be like a numbers-based reason for it. It can't
12:22just be like, "Well, that guy looked really good."
12:25You know, you got to you got to the the Wow, that is a really early Michael Wilson click. What is going on there?
12:30Uh what did I think of the Ben Gretch write-up on my boy Keaton Mitchell? I thought that that was one of the
12:36greatest write-ups of all time because uh I mean, obviously, I agreed with everything Gretch said. One of the things that he pointed out
12:43about Keaton Mitchell that I had not gotten to yet was that there actually is room on the bone for him to be a better
12:53Bucky Irving at pick 70? Holy Drafting on DraftKings is insane.
13:00So, one of the things that Gretch pointed out about Keaton Mitchell was that his passing down work in college actually scaled up. So, he got better at
13:07pass catching every single season. His efficiency stayed pretty stable as he saw more work, which is generally not what you are going to see. Generally
13:17speaking, what you see is and this was the comparison that Gretch made, which was that Devon Achane was obviously still awesome for fantasy football the
13:27last you know most recent two seasons but he did get way worse in terms of efficiency like way way worse in terms
13:35of efficiency as he scaled up with with more volume and that did not happen with Keaton college which I think is very
13:42interesting.
13:44All right um Caleb gives me a stack.
13:49I've got Nix later. Burden is gone.
13:52So I'm actually going to take Jaylen Warren here maybe controversial but I'm going to take Jaylen Warren because I know how bad running back it's going to
13:59get. I feel comfortable and I already you know where did Burrow go? Burrow went at pick 16 in this draft so I was
14:05never going to get him. I think that Jaylen Warren is going to be more additive on this team than Caleb Williams would have been. I mean Caleb
14:12Williams I think would have been fine there but I think Jaylen Warren who obviously can contribute on the flex on this team and you start running the 2
14:20V2s so it would be like Bo Nix and Jaylen Warren versus I I guess who would it be? Would it be
14:29like Kenneth Gainwell? Funnily enough it might be Kenneth Gainwell but I think Warren is is definitely the the pick there.
14:37When BBM or second place BBM plus third place DK Milly? I mean you always want you always want the dub.
14:43You always want the dub I think for for marketing purposes.
14:48Keenan Allen is a better pick than Tyquan Thornton by the way.
14:52You know I probably would have agreed with you last year or years before but probably the thing that we most unassailably know about best ball now
15:02like and it's not even close is the cost of a zero and the cost of a zero in best ball is absolutely massive.
15:11So Leone has done the study in the best ball manifesto. A lot of people have done this work on the Sims but like
15:16trimming your roster from 17 or you know from from 20 to 19, from 18 to 17, drastically mows down your EV.
15:27And even if I think Keenan Allen is I mean, I don't know. Let's say that I think Keenan Allen is 75%
15:34to play this year. That gives him 25% more zeros than Tyquan Thornton.
15:41You know, I mean, obviously Tyquan Thornton has some zeros based off of like injury or maybe he really is just so bad that he can't even play for the
15:47Kansas City Chiefs. Like, that's definitely possible.
15:50But, it's part of the reason why I am am not really into Aiyuk. It's part of the reason why I haven't really been taking
15:56Tyreek Hill, despite like all the workout videos and everything. I'm not taking much I really just the guys who who look like
16:04they are over 50% to be stone zeros are just really hard bets for me to make.
16:09Charbonnet, a guy I barely take. Like, the the Charbonnet deal is very hard for me to grasp. I don't really understand Zach
16:18Charbonnet's average draft position. And so, when you're looking at those late round picks, when you're looking at, well, do I want to take Cooper Kupp or
16:26do I want to take Jacoby Lane? I mean, honestly, I don't know. Okay. All right, breaking news in the chat.
16:34Stop what Stop what you're doing.
16:36Official report.
16:38>> [snorts] >> MD2949 reports Keenan is 100% playing this year. Quote, "I'm close with his wife."
16:46All right, we'll say more, brother.
16:48You got to say more. Who is he going to play for?
16:51Is he also going to be doing his food editorials for Condé Nast? We we I I need to know. I need to know, brother.
16:59You got to tell me.
17:00How close are you with his wife?
17:02And who will he be playing for? Is he going to be playing for the Chargers? Is he going to be playing for the Colts? Is
17:08he going to be playing for the Kansas City Chiefs? Is he going to be playing for the Chicago Bears? Is he going to be
17:13playing for the Los Angeles Rams?
17:16Where are we going to see Keenan Allen playing his trade? But I will I mean obviously if I had 100% confidence that
17:23Keenan Allen was going to be playing this year, um I would be jamming him. I would I would be happily taking him you
17:29know, more or less every single time in round 20 on DraftKings.
17:33Uh what slappy pick is most likely to be a bust this year? I mean, it's got to be Burden, right?
17:38Burden Burden has far and away the highest or widest range of outcomes of all the like top 50 to 60 picks in fantasy football cuz
17:49he really could be the third target um on his team. All right, we are about to be back up.
17:55Huge huge ADP value on Herbert here.
18:00Um yeah, I mean, I'm just going to take Justin Herbert here. This is a a gigantic ADP value. He's got multiple
18:06back stacks late. I can take Trey Harris late. I can take Charlie Kolar late. Uh QJ is already gone, but man, that is
18:17that's a 12-spot ADP value on him. Big ADP drop on on Bucky. Big ADP drop on Burden.
18:26I mean, like I said, this is kind of the deal with drafting on DraftKings. You do just get gifted this stuff, but man,
18:31does it feel nice. Now, the question is do I want to take Gainwell and lock up that backfield? Do I take Blake Corum? Okay, actually no,
18:42Corum would be a terrible pick.
18:44Huh.
18:46Wide receiver sort of interesting here or I could just honestly I could just take Bo Nix.
18:52I could just take Bo Nix, which is what I'm going to do. I'm going to take Bo Nix uh smidgen ahead of ADP. Actually, I
19:00honestly I took Bo Nix about as far ahead of ADP as as I got Herbert after ADP.
19:09I have a Hill, Diggs, Keenan Allen team.
19:11Well, Diggs is not going to be a zero.
19:13Uh is it just me or is ESPN's ADP quite bad? Uh it's not just you. On my uh non-best ball channel, like I'm just
19:22like my regular fantasy football channel, I did uh I did a big analysis.
19:27Uh I mean, I don't know. Not a not a not a big analysis, but I I I took a look at
19:32the ESPN ADP stuff. So, if you want to check that stuff out over at @matic fantasy football, you can go ahead and
19:40check that stuff out.
19:44Burden and Waddle, you know, I'm living my dream. Is 20% Sean Tucker on DraftKings a dumb move?
19:51I don't I don't think so. I don't I I think the the path for Sean Tucker to you know, smash is definitely there. I I don't know if I
20:03I'm a little bit less in on Sean Tucker than I was like a month ago cuz they've been speaking very highly on Kenneth
20:09Gainwell. But man, Bucky Irving at pick 70 actually feels insane. I kept all of you quantitatives calculating while you were on vacation.
20:18My guy, Mike Want.
20:21Uh what fantasy outcome would you love to see that changes next year's ADP? I mean, frankly, I would love to see the
20:28return of of passing the football.
20:31I think I think passing the football, you know, if we got multiple 4,500-yard passers, a 40-passing touchdown season, that would be That would be peak for me.
20:41I I just like fantasy football more when there's less scrounging and you just feel better about what you're doing in terms of
20:50Like it's just more to me, it's more fun when games are 38-35, you know?
20:56I There's only so much of like watching David Montgomery and Kareem Hunt ply their trade that I can take.
21:02Absent any injury issues, highest wide receiver length and lower that you can see for burden. But I could I could see
21:08him just having an insane touchdown season.
21:12You get this every so often with yards after catch guys.
21:16Um you know, I mean George Kittle has been one of these guys. I remember a crazy Oh, who is that guy? Dante Pettis.
21:24Dante Pettis for the 49ers had a completely insane YAC season. Dwayne Bowe had one of these random YAC seasons, but this 2018 season
21:35uh for the San Francisco 49ers, Dante Pettis I got to I got to go find his uh Yeah, 205 yards of YAC on 45 targets. And then, you
21:46know, we never heard from Dante Pettis again. But uh it does it that stuff does happen uh every so often. And Burden could
21:54definitely have one of those seasons.
21:57I can't be the only person that has an absurd amount of fantasy football notes saved in my phone. I don't really use
22:02the notes app. I am not a I am not a notes app guy. Hot take. I use it every once in a while. I'm not like crazy
22:10about the notes app. I have 40% Tank Bigsby. I'm being investigated for the Saquon home invasion. Man, I I do quite
22:18like Tank Bigsby and Brian Robinson Jr.
22:21later in drafts. I really do.
22:26All right. Let's do I mean, I probably need to get back to This is a pretty good Rashad White price.
22:33Uh The wide receiver wall I mean, I would actually love to take Matthew Golden here.
22:40Yeah, Matthew Golden is going to be who we take assuming that I don't get sniped here.
22:44He is uh a perfectly Did I get I did get sniped.
22:49I did get sniped. Um Man, okay. Let's do Concepcion cuz there are actually multiple running backs that I feel fine here with. I'd be fine with any of
23:00Rashad White, Aaron Jones, JCM. Any of those guys are fine and there's a decent chance that I'm able to get Keat
23:08Mitchell at the next pick.
23:12Ben Johnson hates throwing at the goal line. I mean, I would just guess that's not true. Would have no way of knowing,
23:18but I'm going to go ahead and Actually, I feel pretty confident that's not true.
23:23I think we we can probably investigate that pretty easily.
23:28I would assume his his run to pass ratio at the goal line is fairly close. Ben Johnson offense is passing offense eighth in the NFL in
23:37passing touchdowns fourth, fourth, and 10th.
23:40So, probably probably doesn't hate it that much.
23:45I mean, I could I can pull up Sumer Sports and we can do we can do a little bit of research
23:52potentially. Rate this 2v2 in a main event.
23:56Jake Ferg and Coker versus Golden and Juwan Johnson.
24:01I am not a Jake Ferg guy, so give me Golden and Juwan Johnson, but you know, none of those guys are likely to be the
24:07quote-unquote the guys you need in fantasy football, so you know, not that big of a deal. Yeah, and I'm going to press the button on Jacory
24:16Croskey-Merritt here bringing us to a 2441 of Justin Herbert, Kyren Williams, Bucky Irving, Jamar Chase, Jaylen Waddle, Luther Burden, Brock Bowers, Jaylen
24:26Moore, Bo Nix, Casey Concepcion, and Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
24:32You love to see it. I'm I'm I'm pretty pretty in on JCM. There was just another new update today about Jacory
24:40Croskey-Merritt where and this has been a pretty consistent drumbeat from the Commanders coaching staff. The Commanders coaching staff has said, "Hey,
24:50we do not want other teams to be able to figure out what we're doing based on which running back is in the game.
24:56So, what we need is we need either one, Ke'Shawn Vaughn to improve as a pass catcher to the point that we can play
25:02him on third downs or at least to the point that we can throw to him on early downs or have him run routes on early
25:08downs. And Rashad White, the the second part of this would be is Rashad White going to be a better runner?
25:20I mean, I would just frankly guess no. I would just guess it's pretty unlikely that we see a significant increase White's ability to be an early down
25:29rusher for his career.
25:32He's got juke rate below 20%.
25:35He has a yards per carry actually below four when he's been used as a starter.
25:41Like, I don't think that he is a bad player at all. I I think he is a I think he is a good player.
25:48No, I think he's a fine player, but he's not going to add anything new to his game at this stage of his career
25:55heading into year five. JCM could definitely add more.
26:01I mean, he's Oh, he's not that young.
26:04You did Ryan, yes. You clearly made the right call. Your your team your team was pretty good against us. You definitely made the
26:11right call.
26:13I miss the days of trying to get five wide receivers through eight rounds.
26:16Yes.
26:18You're you're you're probably going to hate your team if you do that this year, but man man do I miss it.
26:24174,000 crowns is crazy. Well, they'll all be gone because I use the crowns. This is how I use the crowns. I save up all my
26:32crowns all year through all the off-season, soccer contest, golf contest, entering into the basketball contest. I save them all up.
26:40And then when the NFL season gets here, the regular season, I use the DraftKings crowns to enter into the single entry contest. So, however
26:51many weeks these crowns last to enter into the spy or the red zone or whatever, that's how I use them.
26:59>> [snorts] >> Bill has the ability to have a stat line in a game of 10 carries, 100 yards, and a touchdown. Yeah, well, I mean, he
27:04basically did that, right? He finished as the Bill was the running back three in week 17 this last year.
27:10People people forget.
27:15Did you always want to be in front of a camera? When did it come to you?
27:20Uh I mean, I don't know about specifically being in front of a camera, but I have always been I mean, obviously, I've always been a talker and
27:29I did competitive speech in high school and in college. And when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, the fantasy football
27:39stuff just sort of came about. And when you're in the fantasy football arena, there are going to be lots of opportunities to
27:47speak on podcast, be on a camera, whatever. And I mean, that's uh this is just good advice for anything you're doing in life, but
27:55you you just always want to be the guy saying yes, right? I mean, that's kind of the thing in life is in a in a
28:00professional environment, you just always want to be the guy saying yes.
28:03Oh, yeah, I can do that. I will do that.
28:05I'll learn how to do that.
28:07For sure.
28:09Um man, what do I want to do here? I am I am in a little bit of a tricky spot.
28:14Looks like I can wait for Rodgers or Mendoza, so that's not bad. I'm pretty good at running back. Omar Cooper Jr.
28:21actually is quite a good fit here. Although McMillan makes some sense. There's not any big ADP values. I'm going to skip on Gadston
28:29on this team. Chig would be okay. Yeah, we're going to do Do I want to do Tracy?
28:37No, we'll do Omar Cooper Jr. He is a nice trying to get a little bit more of him in the old portfolio as well.
28:45Sarratt or Lane as the Ravens rookie breakout? You know, I I kind of liked James Robinson more as a prospect, but reading the tea leaves on
28:55the early reporting for Baltimore, it sounds like Surratt is going to have a um a go to come much easier path to
29:02playing time. Like it sounds like James Robinson is kind of viewed as similar to how they viewed Devontae Booker and uh
29:08Devontae Booker, you know, barely played for the Ravens as a rookie, right?
29:14Uh if there was a tight end who scored zero points all year, but scored 35 in week 17. So, 35 wouldn't be enough for
29:22him to go two too early, but he I mean, he'd be a top If you got a guaranteed 35 points, he'd
29:28be a top like 12-ish pick. I don't know.
29:30That's that's probably a better question for Shady Advice.
29:36Yes, this is what the Flock Fantasy Best Ball pool looks like on DraftKings. So, it has your DraftKings specific exposures and all that stuff. Um and do
29:46I want to take Woody Marks?
29:49I think I do. I think I do want to take Woody Marks and then I can be done at running back cuz there was no one else
29:53really obvious there. But yeah, it's got to it's got all the same stuff that uh It's got all the same stuff on it that
30:00it's got on Underdog. It just doesn't have the historical data. Yeah, no, it doesn't it doesn't have the running grades because it doesn't have the
30:08historical data to judge it against.
30:11I think it's probably something that we could ponder adding next year for the up or the overlay, but I mean, the Flock
30:19Fantasy overlay is it's the cheapest by like far, right? I mean, $147 for a whole year gets you all the best ball
30:27stuff, gets you everything on the site, gets you all the you know, redraft stuff. So, that what is 100 147 147 divided by 12. So, the Flock it's 12
30:38bucks a month.
30:39The the Flock Fantasy overlay is 12 bucks a month compared to you know, every other I mean what's what's the next cheapest best ball tool
30:48like 20 bucks a month or something?
30:51So, the the features will not be added on DraftKings you know, obviously Mason has the business deal with you too as
31:00well. So, DK features are are pretty low down the dev list if I'm going to keep it real with you.
31:08Uh was I tuned in to the ESPN top 10 quarterback list drama?
31:15I did see some of this.
31:17Now, I I you guys should be very proud of me because I saw this list that included a 29-year-old quarterback with zero
31:27playoff wins as one of the 10 best quarterbacks in the NFL and I didn't say a word. I didn't send a
31:34tweet. I didn't get mad. I just said, "Hey, if they 29-year-old quarterback with zero playoff wins, zero divisional wins,
31:43home playoff losses, if I if I I could have let that make me mad. I could have gotten mad online. I could have gotten
31:50rage baited about that about that quarterback, but I didn't.
31:54I didn't and I think that speaks very well of me that that on my vacation I allowed myself to not get mad
32:01about that.
32:03Man, would I take it back? Would I would I try and how would I mean I guess I couldn't have really taken Keaton
32:11here.
32:12I was hoping to get Keaton at 142, but it wasn't going to happen. I Man, I would have taken I would have taken
32:18I would have taken Gadston at 166 for sure, but that's setting up a much
32:26different pick for us which is the cooler bear.
32:32Who is the quarterback? The the quarterback is Justin Herbert.
32:37Justin Herbert is a 29-year-old with no playoff wins. Although he does have a real nice lady friend. So shout out to
32:45him for that.
32:46Maybe maybe someday he'll win the division. I mean, I doubt it. Could happen though.
32:52All right, the question is do we take Rodgers?
32:55Oh, no, Rodgers went. So we will be taking Mendoza with Bowers. Giving us our three quarterbacks.
33:01Could start to think about taking a tight end here. Schultz I like. How might I like Dulcich? I would have liked
33:07there as well.
33:10Definitely targeting Freiermuth a little bit later. Definitely targeting Kolar a little bit later. Is Kolar even have an ADP?
33:19He doesn't. He's way down there. Or maybe he's You never know. I guess he could be already be gone.
33:24GM GM Yeah, the the Herbert plot armor is is crazy.
33:31All right.
33:32Well, do I want to take more T Ferg?
33:36I guess that's the question. What is there is there Well, there is a wide receiver I'm passing up on here. What
33:41are the odds?
33:43It's pretty low that I get Trey Harris to come around to me.
33:46So speaking of someone who I'm actively mad about, I'm actively stacking one Mr.
33:52Justin Herbert right now. Cuz I do think the Chargers are going to be an incredibly good offensive team this year. I mean, let's just call a spade a
34:00spade.
34:04Although it has been pointed out to me multiple times that Herbert and McDaniel are maybe not a great stylistic fit. And they're also
34:13going to play pretty slow. Man, it's kind of a funny thing about the about the McDaniel offenses is they were never
34:20they were never all that fast. They were just very efficient.
34:28I I don't even know what this thing is, but it felt fitting.
34:32250 gems for a clapping seal. You know what, Coolers? It's funny you mention that because I pulled up my YouTube this
34:40morning.
34:42Uh and I was going to check in on Peter's channel and I saw the same thing.
34:47There's some kind of gem hype system when you're on your phone. I I don't uh I don't get exactly how it works, but uh
34:57thank you, sir. GM GM.
35:00>> [clears throat] >> Could I interest you in a round 20 KLS click for the brand? Sadly, I think the KLS fancy zero is behind me.
35:10I think we're I think we're all done.
35:14Uh I'm late to the party. How is your ayahuasca going? No ayahuasca here, brother. We're chilling.
35:20We're taking it easy.
35:22Uh odds the Titans still suck even with all the changes in the draft?
35:27I mean, their Vegas win total does not suggest that they're going to be particularly great, although it does seem like they are going to be better.
35:36Does seem like they'll be better. I really hope I mean, frankly, I draft a lot of Titans pass catchers, so I hope
35:41they are. Ridley is available at pretty attractive prices. Helm is available at pretty attractive prices. Ward is available at attractive prices. Spears
35:50is available. I think you can even take a little bit of um Premier ADK or Iolana.
36:00Sad but true, we have a new fancy zero.
36:03See, I think the Cooler Bear is the opposite. There's nothing fancy about the Cooler Bear. Like a good season for the Cooler Bear is him
36:11doing like what Will Dissly did for the Chargers uh 2 years ago.
36:17If uh Charlie Kolar has 50 catches for 481 yards and two touchdowns, that is like a really, really good season for
36:28for Charlie Kolar.
36:31Any consideration for last round and Njoku? Dude had ADP 100 last year. Yeah, I liked Njoku last year. The issue is
36:40I think he's just physically past it.
36:42He's getting paid a very, very low amount of money um by the Chargers. Like he's it's basically like a tryout contract.
36:51All right. Well, hey.
36:53Don't shoot the messenger, but I'm going to take Terrance Ferguson as my second tight end with one Mr. Brock Bowers.
37:00Need to add in another wide receiver here and it's going to be Jeremy Bernard. Been getting a lot of Jeremy Bernard
37:07pushed into my algorithm. I actually frankly am not that crazy about him, but it's another FOMO pick where it's like I
37:14don't really see it with Jeremy Bernard, but plenty of other people who I respect are in on Jeremy Bernard.
37:21I think he I think basically I think he was like a very fine prospect, but certainly not a a great
37:31prospect and I'm much more of a Michael Pittman Jr. guy than it seems that a lot of my fellow slappy fantasy football
37:40analysts are. And if that's the case, then I can see where that discrepancy comes in because there's only so many throws that are available between
37:48Metcalf, Michael Pittman Jr., Jeremy Freiermuth. And obviously Rodgers is going to throw to the running backs at a higher clip than the average
37:56quarterback.
38:00Tyreek is live on Twitch. I mean, Tyreek seems like he's angling to come back and play pretty quick.
38:07Reviving an earlier convo to say that I think a late round possible zero is exactly what you should be looking for
38:12assuming the possible zero contributes to the low price.
38:16I mean, it's one of these things where the boring answer to this one Adam would be is like that's what a lot of the people who are using
38:23like Sim based tools of this content is they're saying, "Well, you don't really know, right? That you're just sort of doing
38:31Uh my friend Brick says this and this is more about DFS, but if you're saying like, "Oh, well, you know, you're kind
38:36of just doing astrology, right?" Which is true.
38:40Cuz if you are it's it's one of the things that I've told Liam as well with like the uniqueness is like, "Well, you
38:44can you can conjecture these things, but unless you actually game it out, then you won't largest sort of you're doing an educated guess, you're doing a
38:52sophisticated guess.
38:54And we would be doing and are doing sophisticated guesses based on how likely is it that Tyreek is going to play.
39:05How likely is it that Keenan is going to play? Although our boy MD did tell us Keenan Allen is 100% playing this year,
39:10so shout out to him for that.
39:13Um you know, and and kind of the the goal of what we want to do is we do want to
39:24optimize our rosters for as many uh you know, potential scores as possible. It's kind of hard to do that with some of the
39:34late zeros. Obviously, some of the late zeros are are a little bit more fun and a little bit more projectable than others.
39:41Demone Clayborn, the new Percy Harvin.
39:43There will never be a new Percy Harvin.
39:45Percy Harvin was a one-on-one, brother.
39:49All right, so we got everyone stacked.
39:54I don't need another quarterback.
39:56I need one more tight end, but I'm going to save that for the end.
40:00Definitely going to take at least one more wide receiver.
40:05Pharoh Cooper Bryant makes some sense.
40:07Ted Ginn Jr. I actually quite like.
40:10Jalen Nailor I like.
40:12Um All right, let's do Let's do Pat Ryan. We'll do the We'll do the Bo Nix double. That's leverage
40:22against Sutton, who I take very infrequently.
40:27And I'm actually going to take another running back, which I don't do that often, but my guy Clayborn is there.
40:32And then I'm going to put Stowers in the queue. I'm going to put Kolar in the queue and hope to get one of those two
40:40final gentlemen with my last pick.
40:46Bryant I mean Bryant is kind of Ooh, you know what?
40:51This is what I This is what I should have done.
40:55I messed up. Bazinga, I messed up. I played bad. I I should actually should have taken him.
41:01Uh where'd I go? So I went to I went to the I went to Yellowstone. I went to the Tetons, and for this last week I've been
41:11in northern Utah, like about 90 minutes north of Salt Lake City, kind of just vibing out in the mountains.
41:22We're just We're just hanging out. Cabin cabin lifestyle, you know? It's been pretty nice.
41:28All right, let's recap this team before we make our final pick and see if it's any good.
41:33Justin Herbert, Kyren Williams, Bucky Irving, Ja'Marr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, Luther Burden, Brock Bowers, Jaylen Moore, and Bo Nix, Casey Conception, Corey Kroski Merritt, Omar Cooper Jr.,
41:45Woody Marks, Fernando Mendoza, Trey Harris, Terrance Ferguson, Jeremy Bernard, Pat Bryant, Demond Clayborn.
41:54Um yeah, Kolar a good third tight end here.
41:58I can't lie, the Zachariah Branch clips got me drafting. I love Zachariah Branch. Zachariah Branch is one of my most drafted guys overall.
42:07You go pull up the old Best Ball tab over on Flock Fantasy, which is a tab that I quite like to investigate. I I mean, Zachariah
42:15Branch is one of my most drafted guys.
42:18It's just so evident he's going to get a bazillion screen passes. Is there Is there anything more evident before the season starts than Zachariah Branch
42:26getting, you know, like 35 short area targets from Tua Tagovailoa?
42:33Uh I I did not see the old man get wrecked by the bison IRL, but I did I I was there that day at Yellowstone, and I
42:41got real close to some bison, although they were The bison that I were was close to um were not acting like that.
42:48All the All the bison by where I was were They were sleeping sleeping. They were just laying down. So, I guess the deal is is
42:56the men get like They're getting into like mating season.
43:01So, some of the male bison were acting foolish this time of year at uh Yellowstone. But yes, that that guy I think they said
43:10he's good to go. He did break four bones, I believe.
43:15Wow. And uh that's how you run good, boys, cuz we are going to take one Mr.
43:20Charlie Kolar as our final tight end, giving us a 3 6 8 3 with a Justin Herbert stack, Justin
43:30Herbert double stack, actually, a Bo Nix double, and a Mendoza Bowers.
43:36Um All right, boys. I am I am not going to run another I I Honestly, my laptop is overheating, but I am going to be back
43:44with all you guys tomorrow. Make sure you check out all my stuff over on flockfantasy.com. Make sure you like the video, and I'll be back with you guys
43:53tomorrow
