0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
0:05Welcome in! I told you. I told you he wasn't gonna do it.
0:09I thought for sure we'd get something. I told you there's no way he's doing it today.
0:15He knows that this is not... No. Kenny Pickett, Carson Beck is not the day for it.
0:20I thought about it. It's Larry time. Oh! That would've been great!
0:24I'm wearing his Hall of Fame hat. But then it kind of, it muddles the real...
0:29Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, I'm with Mike. It is Larry time.
0:33Welcome into the show, Thursday, August 6th. Amazing show today.
0:36We have a new segment to debut. We got news.
0:39We got the Hall of Fame game tonight. We've got a mock draft episode.
0:44It's gonna be awesome. Jason's got a fresh Larry Fitzgerald cap upon his head because he gets inducted.
0:50Jason Cap got it at the Pro Football Hall of Fame a couple weekends ago.
0:55It's just for today. Is that, that's how into the Cardinals you are this year?
0:59It's just for today. Well, I can represent Larry.
1:02Representing the Cardinals feels disgusting. So this is not a Cardinals hat.
1:06This is a Hall of Fame Larry hat. I have a goal.
1:10Oh. We've had an O in, like a winless team before.
1:14Detroit, yes. We did it one time. Have we had, I mean the Cardinals have a chance at something special.
1:20They have a chance at O in 21 because they're in the Hall of Fame game.
1:25They get the bonus preseason game. Then they could lose three more preseason games.
1:30I see what you're saying. And then run the table in the lost column.
1:34It, they usually do pretty well in the preseason.
1:37Teams that suck try hard in the preseason while teams that are good are like, we're gonna try some stuff.
1:43Yeah. We're gonna work on things. I will say, yes, we have seen the video.
1:48The Cardinals video that is making the rounds. You, you can keep tagging us if you want it.
1:54It doesn't hurt my feelings. We are getting tagged.
1:57We are getting tagged a lot. Like I've told you, I, I don't care if this team succeeds or fails.
2:03Yeah. Yeah. There they are. The offense looks, we have seen really bad.
2:07If you haven't seen the video for the Hall of Fame game, everybody, you need to see it.
2:13Cause it's pretty amazing. Well, we get to see Carson Beck and he gets to see everything.
2:19So much of the field. Everything. Oh, okay. He can see the field better than any human alive.
2:24That's about his eyes. No, it's just, he's got good vision.
2:28His peripheral is yes. He was built to see a lot, you know, but the, uh, this is the, I don't know
2:35if you all remember out of control. Do you remember, uh, the movie pitch black and the monsters had a, a blind spot right in the middle?
2:44Yeah. That's don't throw to the middle of the field.
2:47There might be, he might not be able to see it.
2:50Do you remember hit pitch black with Vin Diesel from 30 years ago?
2:55Bro. It spawned a trilogy, man. Uh, respect Riddick.
2:58Pitch black rules. Those were good movies. Thank you, Josh.
3:01If you haven't gotten down with pitch black in a while, you really should.
3:05It's so bad. It's good. We never tied a theoretic joke into that movie back in the day.
3:11Hmm. Yeah. We made mistakes. Yeah. We have a big announcement.
3:15It's black. Big announcement to start things off. Uh, you can mouth trumpet Mike if you want to.
3:20This is the, uh, the last time we're going to make this announcement, but we want to see you there.
3:27It is almost sold out. The Megalist show in Phoenix end of the month, August 28th, Friday at the Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona.
3:34We have just released. Yeah. About 50 tickets that we had held back as comps and things like that.
3:41We just released them. So there are some prime seats available.
3:44At ballers live.com. If you want to come to the live show, they are amazing.
3:49It's an opportunity to hang out with probably 800 other foot clan fantasy football fanatics.
3:54Um, we've got a great show. It's going to be an awesome time.
3:58We've got some great things planned. It's, you know, about three weeks from today.
4:02So make your, make your arrangements. Come on out.
4:05Come see us. There's still some tickets left now that we open them up.
4:10Yes. Betsy will be there. We'll be there. We'll be there.
4:13It should sell out pretty soon. So do not forget presented by our friends at Sirius XM sponsored by GMC and pet smarts.
4:21Absolutely. We're so excited. Like we're going to have, there's going to be a bunch of crew there.
4:26And I don't, I don't know what the crew are planning.
4:30Like, I don't know if they're trying to be Waldo incognito.
4:33I don't know if they're well, Brian catch when the biggest loser will probably have a giant arrow pointing at himself probably
4:41to make sure that everyone knows who he is.
4:43And then, uh, yeah, Julia will be there. We're doing pushups.
4:47If, if you, if you want to do a pushup contest, Oh yeah.
4:51Julia. Yeah. She will crush you. Yeah. We'll take 10% of the takes.
4:55You can keep the 90% and, uh, no, it'll be great.
4:59So ballers live.com. If you want to get in, there's a few tickets left.
5:03The time is now go grab them with, we're looking forward to seeing you at the end of the month.
5:10All right, let's get it going. Leader of the pack presented by pet smart.
5:14All right. We are kicking off today's episode with leader of the pack.
5:18We are going to look at some situations, uh, at running back and wide receiver over the course of the next few weeks.
5:26This is useful stuff where there are competitions. There are situations that a different player could end up being named the leader of the pack.
5:34Right. And that's going to matter when you're deciding between some options.
5:38And this is a great one to start off with.
5:41We're going to look at the Packers wide receivers because I think it's, I think you can make a compelling argument for
5:48all three guys to be the one you're interested in this year for, for one reason or another.
5:54And, and maybe, you know, obviously one of those arguments is going to be more compelling to you than another.
6:00Yeah. But you know, this is, this is a really weird wide receiver room in the past.
6:06You know, we've had a rotation here. No wide receiver on the roster surpassed 725 receiving yards last year.
6:12Dealt with injuries. Uh, Matthew golden. Wasn't really a factor.
6:15Romeo Dobbs was part of this team. Don Tavion Wicks was a part of this team to start this year.
6:21It could be a very confusing, tough decision for fantasy players.
6:25So what are you thinking about the Christian Watson?
6:28Six round pick Jaden Reed, 10th round pick Matthew golden 11th round pick.
6:32How are you breaking this down? Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's very interesting because if you get it right, I think you're going to have great fantasy success.
6:41The way that I view it, the, the, the, the upside for each one of these, right?
6:46You've got Matthew golden. First round pick should be on the field in two wide receiver sets.
6:52However, early in this off season, there was some reports that it was Christian Watson and Jaden Reed working into wide receiver sets.
6:59Now that's been the knock on Jaden Reed is he's just a slot guy.
7:03And if you're, we want wide receivers to work in the slot.
7:07That is great for fantasy. But if you only work in the slot, you pretty much aren't on the field enough to be very relevant.
7:15Now I do think Jaden Reed might be the best wide receiver of the three.
7:20Personally, he is very, very good, but they like what he does.
7:24He's also been good for fantasy in the past.
7:27Rookie year. Who's the wide receiver 23 that he followed that up with fewer snaps and yet was, you know, a decent wide receiver.
7:35I think wide receiver, like he was top 25.
7:37And then last year was just gone poof. So if he works into the field in two wide receiver sets, he's great.
7:44The highest upside is Matthew golden. But am I, I think ups, the upside case, I don't know if that's true.
7:51So he's the camp reports have been very glowing on Matthew golden that he's finally showing what, you know, he's been making plays all over the place.
8:00He is a great athlete, obviously has the draft capital to where the team believes in him.
8:05But I'm, I'm saying all that to work to Christian Watson, which is who I am putting my chips on, who I
8:12think is the, it for fantasy football, for scoring fantasy points, the way they use him in the, the, you know, assurance
8:19that he will be on the field barring injury, which is really his big problem.
8:24Yes. But if he is healthy on the field, which is the only thing we can work with, he's going to score
8:31the most fantasy points of these three. I don't, I don't believe in Matthew golden.
8:36Yeah. I'm, I'm very in on Christian Watson. If you've been hanging with us for, for the entire off season, he is ranked extremely high for me.
8:45I'm very bullish with the, with the other guys gone, the, the talk of fewer rotations at the wider.
8:51Yeah. I think these three guys are going to be out there a ton.
8:55The, my, the, the question comes down to, uh, cause I got, I got Watson is on the top here, but like
9:02Reed and golden, we had a brief moment in time.
9:06A tweet came out and said, here are the starting.
9:09This is the starting offense for the green Bay Packers.
9:12Got down to wide receiver. There was two of them.
9:15It was Christian Watson and Jaden Reed. And it was what?
9:19What are Jaden Reed has been only used in three wide receiver sets by, by coach Lafleur.
9:24So that was like this weird, interesting nugget. I think that, that kind of shook what was going on for fantasy football.
9:31But then just a few days later, you had the interview with Jordan love.
9:36I think he was talking to, to Kay Adams and he's like, you know, Matthew golden's the X he's taken over for Romeo Dobbs.
9:44And it's like, and that makes the most logical sense of yes.
9:47That was. So you kind of have to project that you have data here.
9:52I mean, with the number of routes that Jaden Reed has run with two or fewer wide receivers on the field, he
9:59ran two of them in 2023, five of them in 2024 and one route in seven games last year.
10:05Like they, they like him. They gave him an extension, 20 million guaranteed, but they like what he does.
10:11Why would they change what he does? Well, he's a slot wide receiver that, you know, they have, uh, obviously the departure
10:18of the two other big names in the off season.
10:21Maybe, I mean, it's not too dissimilar than Josh Downs in Indianapolis where most of the experience of that player has been
10:28in the slot, but they like the talent of the player.
10:32So they may give them more opportunities on the outside at times.
10:36Obviously if an injury happens, which look Christian Watson has happened a lot.
10:40Sure. But if an injury happens to any of these guys, you get a lot of target consolidation that you haven't seen in green Bay in recent years.
10:49It's tough. I mean, I think that, I think this is a situation where we're saying who's the leader of the pack.
10:56In fantasy perspective, we all agree. It's Christian Watson.
10:59However, I think all three players are good picks.
11:02Yeah. I think all three are good picks in fantasy.
11:05I don't see any consequence with shooting your shot on Jaden Reed in the 10th round.
11:10He's a player that I feel a little bit burnt on because for years I've said, I believe in the talent of this guy.
11:18They don't give them enough opportunities. And then Matthew golden in the 11th as a first round wide receiver who I know
11:25it was a rough start to the year, but against Chicago four for 84 and a touchdown in the playoffs.
11:31I just don't see how any of them are bad picks.
11:35Yeah. I think that's pretty interesting. I agree. I read to me is the only one that I am starting to be out on.
11:43I, after that conversation where it was kind of confirmed that because the whole, the whole concept for readout have success is
11:50that he is going to finally be using two wide receiver sets with Dobbs being gone.
11:55But when that conversation came out and said, yeah, Matthew golden, the guy that they did draft to play the outside is, is replacing the X.
12:03Then I, then I don't think Jaden Reed can be good for fantasy if he's not on the field of two wide receiver sets.
12:11So to me, I think it goes Christian Watson.
12:14That's one leader of the pack. Leader of the pack is Christian Watson to me, but I would love to take some
12:21shots on Matthew golden with the camp reports that he's great.
12:24Because I will say, if you were to say which one of these players next year, well, we just feel really foolish.
12:31Like duh. Well, the first round drafting, the first round, no, but the first round NFL draft pick, that they had the
12:38guy in his way depart on a good offense in year two.
12:42If he ends up just being a really good player next year, we'll feel foolish.
12:47And it doesn't cost you anything in the 11th.
12:50Mike, how do you feel about this, this, uh, frame of thinking here?
12:54And, and yeah, I would put Matthew golden in as the underdog that can have that relevant position.
13:00You've always loved Romeo Dobbs. Yes. I think we've all respected the talent of Dante Ben Wicks.
13:05He's had drop problems, but like, you know, right now he's the two in Philly.
13:10And then you have Reed and then you have Watson and then you have craft.
13:15Like you look at that. That's, that's five names, not Matthew golden.
13:19Is there a chance that the Matthew golden storyline is just not that much opportunity?
13:24I know we say targets are earned, but as a rookie, those are five names that are pretty big names.
13:30Yeah. And they ran the ball. It was a Josh Jacobs offense.
13:34Sure. It's the, I think Jacobs. And like the question of what is this offense going to be?
13:40Does Jacobs still have enough? You know, things kind of petered out at the end of last year.
13:46Yes. There were injuries of course, but Jacobs is, is an older running back and wasn't super efficient.
13:51I mean, he was scoring tons of fantasy points.
13:54It's just can, does it, you know, is there a step loss?
13:58That's that's a, it is a fair question. I think to ask, I've got Christian Watson by far as the leader.
14:05And my second choice, assuming you're not counting Tucker craft, cause we're just talking to the wide receivers.
14:11It's I would, I'd take the shot on golden.
14:13Yeah. It's surprising. Jane reads in year four, Matthew golden only played 53% of the snaps last year.
14:19It felt like, Oh, he was out there not doing anything.
14:23Cause he played most of the games, but he was not a full-time player.
14:27No. So he has a huge opportunity to improve.
14:30That was, Oh, you got hit Matthew golden. Got, I feel like I just got smashed in the face.
14:36I was, I was trying to, I was trying to transition there out.
14:40Yeah. The timing wasn't ideal. I just feel like, I feel like when Packers are being brought up on this show, you
14:48kind of lose your head a little bit. Is that fair?
14:51My figure was hovering over that button for a long time.
14:55I felt like I was patient, but then I was too patient.
14:58Then you're like, he's closing the segment. You were hovering over the button and found the worst possible time.
15:05Yeah. How did you do that? Let's try it again.
15:08That was leader of the pack presented by PetSmart.
15:11Visit your local PetSmart. store or go to PetSmart.com today.
15:14PetSmart, anything for pets. News and notes from around the league.
15:17He hits the drops like Josh shoots a basketball.
15:20You know what I mean? All right. Dude. Can we get it on the back wall?
15:25No, no, no. I hate you guys so much.
15:28Josh. The problem is the video is so much worse than the photo, which is terrible.
15:33I mean, it's not great. This is a pod.
15:36Oh, no. I mean, most people listen. Josh, I'm on your, I wouldn't.
15:40Oh, I don't. You know, you can show it.
15:43I got no shit. We need to shame him.
15:46I just surveyed our audience. The majority still listens, Josh.
15:49So you're in good. We can't really convey. Oh, we can convey it.
15:54I can convey it. You know how bad Jeremy's timing was with that button?
15:58Josh's shot is worse. Way worse. We were filming something for the Phoenix Suns yesterday and we had to do a little,
16:05a little, uh, we did a little basketball competition in the office with one of those behind the door basketball hoops.
16:12And we all took, took some shots and then everyone did pretty well.
16:16Got to go close. Mike is like for Mike to maybe say he doesn't want to show it.
16:22It's that bad as much. Thank you, Mike. Mike doesn't have a sense of protecting somebody's shame.
16:27Mike's like the first time anyone has ever thrown a ball.
16:31He tried to shoot it like he throws an axe.
16:34If you ask yourself. The ball hit the wall on the right.
16:38If you ask yourself, hey, what happens if I, if I shoot with the opposite hand?
16:43It's twice as bad as that. So if we get it, we'll throw it up on the screen.
16:49Oh, gosh. Oh. I'm sorry for the audio. Oh, yes.
16:52I mean, the hoop is right in front of him.
16:55The hoop is straight. Can we run that back, please?
16:58Oh, yeah. Let's see this one more time. Oh, I don't even know if they understand where the hoop is.
17:05YouTube.com slash the fantasy footballers. That's the experience and share in the shame of Papa Josh, who we love.
17:11Goodness. First bit of news. The commander signed Stefan Diggs to a one year deal worth up to $12 million.
17:17He's 32, almost 33 years old. That puts him that puts him in the nearly Devante Adams.
17:23Mike Evans category. Age wise. Diggs is not the player he once was, but he did have 102 targets, 85 catches, 1,000 yards, four touchdowns in New England.
17:32It's wild to think that he, you know, it's like, I already, I knew it, so it's not surprising now.
17:38But when I was going through the stats early in the offseason, I was like, wow, Diggs had a thousand yard season.
17:45He did. Just felt like, where was that? It started slow.
17:49It started slow. And if you drafted Diggs, like I did.
17:52I drafted him late. And we got to like week three.
17:56And it was. He was the wide receiver 16 in fantasy football last year.
18:00Is it going to catch on? And then it did.
18:04Are you drafting Diggs? I'm not drafting Diggs. Well.
18:07I'm not opposed to it. Here's what I love about it.
18:10I love it for Jaden Daniels. I've been so worried about, I mean, the departure of, you know, you bring in a Conquo.
18:17We don't know what that rapport is like. He had a rapport with Zach Gertz.
18:22McLaurin. He's also, I mean, they have, they've got some age.
18:26Sure. At the wide receiver room. Antonio Williams being there.
18:29This feels like the necessary kind of like stabilizing piece of a wide receiver room that gives me more confidence that Jaden
18:36Daniels can perform week in, week out in the passing.
18:39100%. I was year two off of the ACL.
18:42I was statistically high on Jaden Daniels, but like emotionally scared out of my mind.
18:47So, I mean, Jaden's really high in our rankings.
18:50So this is, this is good. And I don't, I don't mind you taking a shot on Diggs later in the draft.
18:57I, I think that he could have some PPR value.
19:00I, it's probably not going to be, you know, 1,013 yards in 17 games.
19:05That is, that is not a high number, but it's not irrelevant either.
19:09So. I think it really hurts the, if you were.
19:12That's about 59 yards a game. If you were in Okonkwo, bro, I think that this is a massive down arrow for that.
19:19Or an Antonio Williams truth. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
19:22No, you're right, Mike. The short area targets, the stuff that they're going to fight over it now.
19:28Washington had the highest, second highest vacated target share in the NFL.
19:32So there's room for Diggs. Jonathan Taylor and the Colts have reached an agreement on a two-year extension.
19:38Includes 39 million guaranteed. He had. Good for you, man.
19:41He had been paid and then he wanted to get paid some more.
19:45And they said, all right, we're not going to fight this time.
19:49Get dash money. Yeah. I mean, two-year extension, bunch of guaranteed money.
19:53That means Bijan, Jonathan Taylor. And then the latest report on Jameer Gibbs is that he is both going through the walkthrough
20:00and when someone asked him if the contract extension was close, he threw him a thumbs up.
20:05So I think today, tomorrow, this week, Gibbs should get paid as well.
20:09Josh Jacobs. Ow! That was vile. He's not practicing because of a groin injury.
20:14Yeah. A severe one, according to Jason. Yeah. Well, I hadn't seen this news yet.
20:19And the fact that he's on my League of Record team, it hurts me and my groin.
20:24It's unsurprising. So that was just guttural. Yeah. So, so far, just to be clear, let me just count down the League
20:31of Record running back room for you. Lost Jonathan Taylor.
20:35Lost Jonathan Taylor, who got that money. Yeah, you lost him in the keeper lottery.
20:39Mm-hmm. Just got paid. Correct. You have Travis A.
20:42Chan Jr. Correct. Who we just found out Kamara's going to take third down.
20:47Yeah, I'm not a big fan of. And then we have Josh Jacobs, who he's had an offseason that's led to a...
20:54Ah! Yeah. Okay. You're doing great. Mm-hmm. 2027. Here we come.
20:57Yeah. Todd Bowles says he's unsure when Jalen McMillan will return to practice.
21:01Banged his knee a couple days ago. Tess Johnson.
21:04Tess Johnson. Come on! This is just a reason for Mike to...
21:08Okay, what is that? Oh, we got a drop?
21:11Yeah! Okay. Oh, we got multiples. Hey! Nice. Oh, so we got Ted Hurst all up in this place.
21:17Okay. Ted Fred Dursthurst. There I am! Yeah! So, Ted Hurst...
21:21The only reason I don't like the drop is because I enjoy saying it more than...
21:26Yeah, I don't know if I'll go with the...
21:29Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ted Hurst is... I mean, he's a talented, big-bodied, outside wide receiver.
21:34He's going to compete with Jalen McMillan. Come on!
21:36If McMillan is hurt... Yeah, it's just an interesting name to keep your eye on.
21:41I don't even know if you should be... Come on!
21:44...necessarily drafting him with your last pick, but... If he...
21:48You know what happens if you draft him? You get to do that.
21:52Yeah! It is fun. Matthew's bridge! And I really like the tape.
21:56I was a Ted Hurst believer before the draft, and I thought he landed...
22:00Even before the bit. Even before the bit, I thought he landed in a great spot in trying to replace...
22:07You know, not replicate, but come into the place where Mike Evans just vacated.
22:11So, it's interesting because McMillan was having a good camp, and Tess Johnson was having a good camp, but there have been
22:18positive reports from Todd Bowles, from others about Ted Hurst, so just pay attention to that.
22:23Do we call him... Not what you said. Do we go Ted Fred Durst Hurst?
22:28Yeah, so I wrote it this morning both ways, and I was like...
22:32I don't like Ted Fred. I don't like Ted Hurst, Fred Durst.
22:36Oh, come on! Ted Durst? I don't know, man.
22:39Fred Durst. There it is. I think we keep workshop...
22:42You know what time it is. Keep on rolling, baby.
22:45We're going to take a break, and then we're going to mock draft.
22:50The Fantasy Footballers Mock Draft. Dude, I just got a reel of Limp Bizkit this morning.
22:55They're still out there crushing. I don't think crushing, Mike.
22:58I think your phone's listening to you, Mike. You are mistaken, dude.
23:02This was a big crowd. They're out there crushing.
23:05And that's why we partnered with them this year on this.
23:08Mock draft time. Let's go. 12 team, half PPR, one quarterback, two running back, two wide receivers, one tight end, one flex,
23:15four bench spots, randomly assigned draft spots. I got the number one spot in the draft.
23:20I don't know if I've had a mock at the top like that.
23:25Kyle and Betts right after me. Mike and Jason back at eight and nine in the draft, and we've got the writers
23:32and the editorial staff and team here on board.
23:35Papa Josh, Al Borland also in the draft. All live picks here on the show.
23:39It is time to get this thing going. And I'm going to take the guy that has not gotten the check just
23:46yet, but he's going to be my 101 this year.
23:50It is Jameer Gibbs, the differentiator to me between him and the rest.
23:54He's right in that prime on a great team.
23:57So I'm going to go with Jameer Gibbs. Yeah.
24:00Jamar Chase going number two overall in this mock draft as we kick it off.
24:04Bijan Robinson coming in at 103. Unsurprisingly, we go running back wide receiver, running back as we get this thing started.
24:11I mean, do you believe are you both in the Jameer Gibbs at one on one camp right now?
24:17I am very, very, very much in the Jameer Gibbs one on one camp, unless it came out that it truly was not a contract issue.
24:26And he's dealing with injuries. Injuries would be a reason outside of injuries.
24:30He is projected to easily score the most points by a country mile.
24:34He's on the best offense that doesn't come close to the Atlanta Falcons offense.
24:38The scoring opportunities, the vacated rushing yards and touchdowns, the depth chart with he's competing with Pacheco.
24:44Like to me, he is the clear one on one.
24:47Well, the. The pick has been made. Puka Nakua goes one oh four.
24:51Jonathan Taylor at one oh five and Jason at one oh six.
24:55We went running back wide receiver back and forth for the first six picks.
25:00I'm on Ross. A. Brown goes one oh seven, putting Mike on the clock.
25:04Mike and Jason back to back in this draft.
25:07That should be interesting to pay attention to. I don't like it.
25:11I mean, it's very clear, I think, where Mike's going to go.
25:15But we'll see. What are you between? I'm just I'm I'm taking a back of I haven't of all the mocks we've already done this year.
25:23I have not been in a situation to take my my sweet, sweet Christian McCaffrey.
25:28Which we'll see how hungry the power station is going to be.
25:32But I'm I'm in as running back for at this part of the draft.
25:36So it's like, do you take McCaffrey or, you know, CeeDee Lamb, I think would be the other pick that I would consider there.
25:44But I'm I'm playing to win. All right. So CMC off the board to Mike Jason.
25:49You're on the clock as we get towards the back of the first.
25:53Extremely easy for me. To me, CeeDee Lamb is a tear break.
25:57If you want to throw Justin Jefferson in there, great.
26:00But he obviously played last year with bad quarterbacks and wasn't great.
26:04A.J. Brown, Drake London. They're good players, but they are a tear down from CeeDee Lamb to me.
26:10If I look at running back, running back, it's like, OK, James Cook.
26:14Awesome. Yeah, I don't think he's I don't think Cook is a bad pick.
26:19Great. I don't either. But I really like Hampton.
26:21I really like Kenneth Walker. I really like Chase Brown.
26:25Like there's whoever someone's naming me and Mike's running backs in the league of records.
26:30Yeah. Someone's getting back to me after this turn.
26:32So I'm going to take Lamb. He was the end of a tear for me.
26:37Very, very easy pick for me. All right. We are.
26:40Well, we saw James Cook go off the board next.
26:44So CeeDee Lamb. Then it's James Cook puts Brooksy on the clock.
26:47He went Barkley in the first round that. This is interesting.
26:51Barkley as a bounce back guy. There's been a lot of talk.
26:55The change of Petulo going to Sean Mannion that Sean Mannion has said they want to go under center.
27:01And I don't know if that's great for I mean, Jalen Hurts has played well under center, but I don't know that he'll scramble as much.
27:09But it's really good for Barkley or if potentially the tank gets him.
27:13Oh, oh, I can see. I can see tank pigs be eating into some work this year.
27:19So Jefferson goes at the 112 to cash. How are you guys feeling about the quarterback competition right now between Kyler Murray and J.J.
27:27McCarthy? I think it's just inevitable that it's going to be Kyler.
27:31I think it's going to be Kyler by a lot.
27:34And it gives me a lot of optimism around Jefferson.
27:37Okay. That's where it went. If you are feeling like it's Kyler, which I agree.
27:42The news coming out from different places does seem to be uneven on both sides of the quarterback battle.
27:48I think it'll be Kyler. So it's just if it's him, are we confident in Jefferson being a first round pick?
27:55I went on a little bit of a soapbox yesterday at lunch when when the three of us were out there.
28:01I really, really hate like we've gone too far in the level of hyper analysis at practice and OTAs.
28:07Right. In terms of completing. This guy went 10 for 11 today.
28:11This guy went 11 for 14 today. I don't care that much and I really don't believe.
28:17I mean, there's a level where I care if a guy goes one for 11 and throws seven picks.
28:23But the small, minute details and accuracy when a player Kyler Murray has never been in the system.
28:29You think he's going to be super accurate on day one of OTAs and that's going to be what what Kevin O'Connell cares about?
28:36Is day one of OTA completion percentage? He's just a much better player.
28:40So he's going to win the job. He's going to win the job because he's better.
28:46All right. And he'll get the system down. So Jefferson rounds out the first round, though.
28:51He goes at 112 Hampton, Chase Brown, Derrick Henry.
28:54I assumed I was going to get Hampton in this draft, but that's also because I did not assume Ash and Jenty would get to me.
29:02So it went in a different order. Very easy to me.
29:06I would take Ash and Jenty here. So the tight decision making there for me is the Jenty Ken Walker decision.
29:12Yes, because it would be between those two. Those two have bounced back and forth in my rankings a little bit.
29:19But it seems like you were very convicted on Jenty.
29:22Mike, you are back on the clock. I am equally as convicted to not have taken Ash to Jenty right there.
29:29So that worked out for me because I will not be rattled when it comes to Ken Bun Walker, baby.
29:35The draft starting CMC Ken Walker for Mike when he has the eighth overall pick is very Mike.
29:41I just don't feel like people don't hand us those type of starts.
29:45No, not in the mock draft. But Mike gets it.
29:49Well, the year of Mike continues. That's all I'm saying.
29:52CMC falling to a I mean, I think that's going to happen in a lot of leagues.
29:57Yeah, I think that's a totally normal. I probably would have picked him at eight and I wouldn't have picked him at seven.
30:05So that's that's where he should be going. Well, Ken Walker and CMC for Mike building a super team.
30:11Brock Bowers goes to six. A-chan. What could go wrong with Christian McCaffrey and Ken Walker?
30:16Nothing. Nothing at all. Devon A-chan goes at two oh seven.
30:19I think that is a steal. A.J. Brown. Trey McBride at two oh nine.
30:24So Bowers and McBride three picks apart. Unsurprisingly. Nico Collins at two ten.
30:28Drake London at two eleven. The Nico pick. Betsy took him.
30:32Yeah. Why does Nico feel like the least sexy pick in the first two?
30:36I am completely in agreement. You know, you're not inspired by the passing game of C.J.
30:41Stroud. This is going to be a slow offense.
30:44Nico is fantastic. I mean, when when he's out there, he's scoring a lot of points.
30:49But last year, it wasn't a smooth ride. You know, had had some down games.
30:54But, you know, he was the wide receiver eight.
30:57So I think maybe if he keeps getting pushed down to the back of the second, you know, it could be a value.
31:04Yeah, I think there's it's the. The the the feelings about C.J.
31:08Stroud are not strong. And that's seeping over onto to Nico, who.
31:12Like, yes, there were there. Nico had more bad games for in a top tier wide receiver than you really want.
31:19But he also had a lot of great games.
31:22So I'm still in on Nico. I still believe in his talent.
31:25He's 27. So he'll still be in his prime.
31:28And I mean, looking at the roster construction, Betts had Bijon.
31:32So it's the do you want to start your draft with two Atlanta Falcons?
31:36Some people are OK with it. Betsy was not.
31:39Yeah, I don't love the decisions I have to make here at the turn with such a long wait ahead of me.
31:46I want to bring it up because if you are drafting it like one on one where you've got the turn in
31:53the long wait, which is 22 picks. Like I I'm not going to take Colson Loveland here, OK?
31:59That's too early for me for Colson Loveland. I'm also not going to get Colson Loveland.
32:04Those are that's I have to accept it because I might want him, but I can't get him at a spot where
32:11I feel like it's the right value. And the wait is too long.
32:16He's going to go in the next 22 picks.
32:18I've got back to backs here. My decision making at running back here is Jeremiah Love or Josh Jacobs.
32:25I have Jameer Gibbs. You could argue hero RB situation.
32:28That gives me some time for Jeremiah Love to ascend a little bit in Arizona.
32:33I just don't trust that team enough to make the difference.
32:36I'm going to take Josh Jacobs and go running back, running back.
32:40OK, and then I am going to it's between you.
32:43Go ahead. Be the highest of T. I could be the highest.
32:47You mean to take both? Yeah. I mean, Gibbs Jacobs love.
32:51That's a. That's a unique, interesting start. It is interesting in the fact that like the wide receivers here, like Olave is
32:58on the table and Pickens is on the table.
33:00But there's a lot of guys I like in a lower.
33:04I mean, I like Waddle. I don't mind taking a shot on Devontae Adams, Jameson.
33:09Well, Jameson, maybe not on the same team, but a Buka, a Conkey.
33:13I like there's a lot of names I like there.
33:16So that's interesting. But I'm going to go Josh Allen.
33:19It's a good pick. I'm going to take Josh Allen at 301.
33:23I wasn't going to obviously go two onesies there with like a Loveland Allen.
33:28So I'm going to go Gibbs Jacobs Allen to start the draft.
33:32Jeremiah Love does go next to Kyle Pickens and Olave.
33:35Those are the three other names I was between putting Al Borland back on the clock.
33:40He takes he pulls the trigger on Rashi Rice.
33:43Man, hopefully he's healthy. Yeah, I find myself vacillating a little bit on Rice where it's like he the entire offseason.
33:50He's been this guy where, you know what he is for fantasy.
33:53And now I don't feel that way. It feels.
33:56Yeah, it he is a very polarizing, like heart brain pick.
34:00Yeah, my heart doesn't want to take Rice from my fantasy football team.
34:04My brain knows what the numbers are. He's not cheap enough to make it an a guarantee.
34:09But he goes at 305 Kyron at 306. Jason loves that.
34:13Tett McMillan at 307. And the boys are back to back here in the third round.
34:18Mike has Christian McCaffrey and Ken Walker. I mean, if you want to just keep it going, Mike, you want to be high T.
34:26I think there's a DeAndre Swift out there with your name on it.
34:30There is. And based off of this room of people, I think there is a low chance.
34:35If I pass on Swift, I think there's a low chance that he would come back.
34:41I think in your home drafts, I would definitely push.
34:44Lynn let Swift come back to me in the fourth.
34:47Running back wise, ADP. We're talking Brees, Javante, Scadaboo.
34:50H.N. Jr. of the Saints. And then at the wide receiver, T.
34:54Higgins is there. You've always loved yourself to T.
34:57Higgins. I do love T. Higgins. I think it's honestly coming down to, so it's my wide receiver one.
35:03I want to know for sure that I'm getting a target floor, which Garrett Wilson strongly fits that bill.
35:09Jason, I don't know if you've been reading up on Geno Smith, which that's obviously I'm lying.
35:14I know you've been reading up on Geno Smith.
35:17I think I saw Jason and Geno on the sideline of the Chargers practice.
35:22I bring it up because it's actually been. Guys, it's been positive.
35:26He's wearing red contacts now. Okay. To stop the glare.
35:29He learned this trick. Wait, I have not done it.
35:32I knew you were locked in on Geno. Of course I'm locked in on Geno Smith.
35:37No, he's wearing. Geno. That is true. He's wearing red contacts.
35:41What? To help. Do his eyes look crazy? I haven't been up close.
35:45Like a demon. Like in the Thriller video? I'm hoping those red contacts just lock onto Garrett Wilson.
35:51So, I mean, they definitely will. So it's Garrett Wilson or do you take the risk on Malik Neighbors that he's okay?
35:58I think it's a great value. You've got to ask yourself, are you okay with that being your wide receiver one?
36:04I can't hear any of Jason's commentary right now without knowing he's picking next.
36:09I just can't. Yeah, all I wanted was Malik Neighbors.
36:12Oh, I knew it. I knew it. I couldn't hear it without.
36:16I figured you would want. He was being the straight man.
36:19Why GW? I love Garrett Dangerous. I love Garrett Wilson, but Malik Neighbors in the third.
36:25If he ends up healthy, even if he gets off to a slow start and he's 70% of what he would be, it's a phenomenal pick.
36:33It is tough, though, with like, I mean, he is his one.
36:37That was the hope that I had was that I could talk him off of neighbors by pointing out that he is.
36:44We don't have another wide receiver. I have C.D.
36:47Lamb. So I would trade you Garrett Wilson. It sounds counterintuitive.
36:50It's my one. My wide receiver. I want him to be solid.
36:54But I have two, in my projections, two stud running backs.
36:58So it's like I can now wait on the running back position and I can kind of pad more wide receivers in the meantime.
37:05There's going to be value there next year. Jason's on the clock.
37:09I feel good about it. Lamb and Gentty. I'm on the clock.
37:13I think that running backs are going to die out quicker than the wide receivers that I like.
37:19So even though I really like Garrett Wilson here, he would be the wide receiver I would take.
37:25I'm going to take my man Cam Scadaboo and I will.
37:28Over Garrett Wilson? Yes. Because of the position, I want to make sure I'm solid there.
37:33There's a lot of wide receivers I like in this draft later on.
37:37Later on, I have not enjoyed running backs later in drafts this year.
37:42Four teams through the first two rounds went running back, running back.
37:46Two more teams added a second running back in the third round and we are rolling over to the fourth here.
37:52Abuka Flowers-Higgins, great value at wide receiver finishing out the third.
37:56Garrett Wilson, Javante and Loveland and it's back to Jason.
37:59Brooks has always been a man of exquisite taste.
38:02Who's that? Does a flowers pick? Oh, did he take flowers?
38:05Just completely unrelated. I was just complimenting. No. Yeah.
38:08I mean, he Faberge eggs. Yeah. So I am.
38:11The wealthy wise man. Oh man. Brooks moves away and that bit goes away.
38:16No, he moved the bit. You stole that from us, Brooks.
38:19Yeah. Just imagine how he's living in Ohio. Oh my gosh.
38:23He's king. He's king. Do you own Ohio? He's the king of Ohio now.
38:27Yeah, he's the king of Ohio. That's the only state in the union that elects a king.
38:33He elected himself. I like the idea of electing a king.
38:36I mix democracy with being the ruler of a nation.
38:39Jason, you're back on the clock. So it's a pretty easy decision because I've got Gentian Scadaboo.
38:45I'm looking between either wide receiver, which is a clear Devontae Smith to me.
38:49I love Devontae Smith. At this point in the fourth, I think he's going to be a top 12 wide receiver.
38:56Or I got Tyler Warren. Yeah, I figured he was on the dog.
39:00I haven't had enough shares of him. So I'm going to swing on taking an elite tight end, someone that I do
39:07think is going to have 140 targets at the position.
39:11Yeah, we just talked about it and they go back to back on yesterday's show.
39:15Mike, you are back on the clock. All right.
39:18I'm going to give you a second to think about it.
39:22We'll take a break and come right back. All right.
39:25Mike's on the clock here at pick 405. Coming around for the big decision on, does it go back to wide receiver?
39:32Lamar Jackson is going to go here in the next couple rounds.
39:36Jaden Daniels and company. McCaffrey, Walker, neighbors, you're up.
39:39So the decision on tight end has been made for me.
39:42So I'm not even looking or considering that. Wide receiver wise, it would be down to Devontae Smith.
39:48And also the Jalen Waddell is in that conversation for me.
39:52I lean Smith right now. And then so between those two and Lamar Jackson, I think that really is the decision to be made here.
40:00The running backs have thinned a lot. Yeah, but I'm cool.
40:03No, I know you're not. I'm just looking at the board.
40:07Sure. We have a handful of teams like team four has no running backs.
40:11So they've thinned out quite a bit. But I'm going to go with Devontae Smith.
40:16It felt like a safe, comfortable pick. He feels a little bit safer than Jalen Waddell.
40:21Having him with neighbors, I think, is great. Because we know Devontae Smith has always been a wide receiver one when given the opportunity.
40:29It's really hard to remember. Devontae Smith, just a true dominant college player.
40:33Comes in as a two. It's great. And yet you feel like because it took so long for him to get his
40:40chance to be the wide receiver one for the team.
40:43You're like, oh, can he do it? Yeah. I have no doubts that he can be a one.
40:49But, yeah, the feeling is definitely unsure because he hasn't been.
40:53Yeah. I'm upset. Devontae Smith, Brees Hall, Lamar Jackson.
40:56Sorry. Yeah. Devontae Smith, Brees Hall, Lamar Jackson, DeAndre Swift.
40:59Devontae Smith and DeAndre Swift is probably the combo of names.
41:02Jalen Waddell, McConkie, and Burden go next. I shouldn't have been surprised that the Betts-Borg combo would abandon the thought of getting
41:09a second running back when they're almost gone just to troll me on the two picks I would have made.
41:16I figured Ladd McConkie in a normal draft would get back to me.
41:20I should have been smarter here. I've got to go to the wide receiver position, I think.
41:25I do believe that Travis H.A. and Jr. here is a good deal.
41:30Bucky Irving's a good deal here. I'm going to take Bucky and see what that looks like, and then I'm going to
41:37come back with Devontae Adams as my first wide receiver.
41:40Yeah, I've got, I can, like, you know, like Mike's situation, I can spend the next four rounds taking wide receivers that I like.
41:48Burrow goes next. Was that your disappointment, Mike? No, not disappointment, more of the when this will happen in your draft and
41:55you will see someone take Burrow and you go, Oh, they have Chase Burrow.
41:59Oh, yeah. The Chase Burrow stack is a powerful thing.
42:02That's just devastating. We get a run of running backs.
42:06H.A. and Jr., Tootin, Henderson, DJ Moore off the board at 5.06.
42:09You know, the DJ Moore decision is going to be a big one.
42:14Christian Watson off the board. We talked about him at the Leader of the Pack segment.
42:19Mike obviously had his eyes set on Christian Watson.
42:22Oh, that would have been elite. But it's not now.
42:25Well, now I have to actually think about stuff.
42:28McCaffrey, Walker, and Aver Smith. All right. Let me look at my rankings here wide receiver-wise.
42:33Guys, I would like Jameson, Pierce, Evans. Oh, man.
42:36I hate that Evans is hurt. And, I mean, I have McCaffrey.
42:40Do I really want to invest in the substation and everything that's going on there?
42:44I'm going to take – so I got two real strong target earners.
42:49I'm taking Jameson Williams right here. I want some Nitro as a wide receiver three.
42:53Dadgummit, man. You keep doing it. I didn't even talk to it.
42:57I just did it. I know, but it's like I wanted the neighbors, got one pick away, and of course you did it.
43:05And Jameson is a player Andy's loved. I've always been more hesitant because of that archetype of the boom bust, less consistent.
43:12But I was like, this is perfect for my team.
43:15I've got the consistency of Lamb. I need a boom bust.
43:18You can blame Kurt because I would have sprinted to draft Watson.
43:22You know, you could have just – like you get the chance to troll him on the way back.
43:28But you never take his players. You keep taking – Well, Loveland won before me.
43:33I took Warren. He was more into Loveland. I would have very – I would have considered Warren there.
43:39All right. Jameson Williams off the board to Mike's team.
43:42Jason's got Lamb, Janty, Scadaboo, and Warren. You're back on the clock.
43:46You will pick again here real quick at the turn.
43:50Yeah. I definitely need a wide receiver. There's some that I like here, but it's a tier down.
43:55I'm actually going to pull the trigger. I'm going one, two, three second-year running backs.
44:00I'm going to take Quinch on Judkins. I know Mike doesn't like him, but Andy and I do.
44:06He's looked great in camp so far. Explosive. I think that the Cleveland Browns offense will be a little bit better.
44:13Good pick. Yeah. Alec Pierce goes at 5'10". Roma Dunze at 5'11".
44:16As we get towards the second half of this draft, David Mopportunity at 5'12".
44:21I don't know how to feel about him. I don't either.
44:24It changes day to day. Oh, no, Jason. I spent a lot of this offseason being really bullish on the fact that he will be a three-down back.
44:33This is a team that will be in games.
44:36They're going to win 10 games. He might. I believe he will, but it's possible he's not.
44:42I just don't know if the offensive line is good enough to allow him to get the double-digit touchdowns.
44:48That's his upside. His upside is he gets 10 touchdowns, and if he does, he's going to be a great pick here.
44:55Yeah. Is their line good enough? Carnell Tate goes at 6'03".
44:59I agree. I love that pick by Julia. Yeah, I probably would have taken him at my next pick.
45:05I think he is going to be a steal if he goes anywhere 4-7.
45:09Jason, you're back on the clock. You've gone running back, running back tight end, running back the last four rounds.
45:16Yeah, I'm really thrilled here. I was between Judkins and Mike Evans at my last pick.
45:21The fact that a sixth-round Mike Evans, I still believe he has enough to give.
45:25And when he's on the field for San Francisco, and let's say he misses three or four games, that will suck.
45:32But when he's on the field, he's going to be good for fantasy.
45:36He's going to score touchdowns. Brock throws him. They need him.
45:40He's a red zone weapon. And, you know, I don't think there's any doubt that he is good for fantasy.
45:46The way that you've got Devontae Adams, the old man who's going to score a bunch of touchdowns, as my wide receiver,
45:53too, I'm fine with Evans in the sixth. All right, Mike, you're back on the clock.
45:59Who's it going to be? So I'm looking at the running back position.
46:03You know, Price, Warren, those are the guys kind of at the top of the ADP.
46:08I think Price is interesting here. The value of a first-round running back should pay off right there.
46:14But, and then a quick peek at the, oh, so Jaden Daniels is still there.
46:18That is interesting. Yeah, we've had, so far we've had Drake May went at 6-0-1, Kraft, Tate in this round.
46:25Lamar's off the board, Burrow's off the board. So this would be the quarterback five off the board at 6-0-5.
46:31You've got a long wait for your next pick.
46:34And I got late-round guys I do like. Funny enough, I thought I would be picking between Terry McLaurin, old man, or Jordan Tyson, rookie hotness of.
46:43Yeah, we tied to. Like Terry McLaurin as your wide receiver four seems pretty awesome.
46:48I'm going to take Jaden here. All right, Jaden Daniels off the board at 6-0-5.
46:52Jadarian Price goes next. And Jordan Tyson does finally go off the board as the wide receiver three for Papa Josh.
46:59Tyson's going to be a really interesting selection as well.
47:02You know, I like Tate a lot more for year one.
47:06But in the draft, talent-wise, I like Tyson the most.
47:09So that situation versus talent is an interesting one.
47:12It is. It's the Cam Ward versus Shuck. So, Andy, when you think about Ward and Shuck, I know you guys aren't
47:19as in on Tyler Shuck as I am. But when you're thinking through something like Carnell Tate or Tyson, which pick has the higher chance of failing?
47:28I think it's Tyson for sure. Okay. Yeah, just because Olave is the bona fide number one.
47:33You know, both of these teams didn't score a lot of points last year.
47:38But I mean, I feel like the floor. Cam Ward falling on his face.
47:42I don't think he's going to fall all the way on his.
47:46I mean, he's not going to lose his job.
47:49No. I think he's going to hyper-target Carnell Tate.
47:52And I know that the target floor is going to be there.
47:56But I don't think it's a big difference. I really don't.
47:59I think Tyson, if he's on the field, I mean, he's going to be a focal point of the offense too.
48:06You know, we haven't even – probably the name we've talked about the least of anybody in this entire offseason, for no
48:13real reason other than Jordan Tyson, has been Juwan Johnson.
48:16Sure. Who's had no conversation. Yeah. And he is getting – He was working out with Shuck.
48:22Well, he's getting steamed from the beat writers in New Orleans.
48:25Like, not ADP-wise, no one wants Juwan Johnson on their team.
48:29But he is frequently called out by, like, Underhill and Cruz.
48:32So that's where I'm like – I look at Tennessee and I know it's Tate, Tate, and all Tate.
48:38I look at New Orleans and I say, look, you've got two good backs.
48:43You've got a pass-catching Camara, Juwan Johnson. Olave's going to get his.
48:47Does it take Tyson more time? I don't know.
48:50I'm going to go Harold Fannin at 6-12. Okay.
48:53And Marvin Harrison at 7-01. Marvin Harrison at 7-01.
48:55I can deal with it. Warren Stevenson, Harvey, and Brian Thomas Jr.
48:59go next into our seventh round. Papa Josh is on the clock.
49:03I thought it was Mike, but Papa Josh is sitting there deciding.
49:07Probably missed the button with that shooting hand. Am I right?
49:10Chuba Hubbard. Chuba Hubbard might be the least sexy pick in the draft, but could work out.
49:16Michael Wilson at 7-07. Same round as Harrison. Mike, you're back on the clock.
49:20It's a pretty weird. Jason, you shook your head.
49:23I just saw how the draft was playing out and I was waiting to see what happens on this pick.
49:30Oh! Yeah. We'll see. No, Mike, just do your thing.
49:33I have no idea where you're going. Just do your thing.
49:36I'm not thinking about it. I don't think you're trying.
49:40I think we just agree. Chuba's not usually going in front of Jonathan Brooks these days.
49:45So, interesting to see how it fell there. Brooks is still on the clock.
49:49I don't love it. I'm looking at the running back position because I do need to.
49:54We're in the seventh here, so I will need to start adding some depth.
49:59Manongai and his. Are we good? Does anyone know if Khan Manongai is good?
50:03He's fine. He is okay. Nothing to worry about.
50:06It's August 6th. You got a month. He's already back at practice and he's got a month.
50:12That's what I meant. Yeah, he's fine. Is it full practice?
50:15I don't remember what I heard. Rico Dowdle, I think, is a fine pick here.
50:20The last thing I read was that it looked like Rico was kind of cementing the RB1 spot.
50:26Yeah. Rico Dowdle? Yeah. Wow. I've seen that one go back and forth.
50:30Yeah, I've seen it both ways. I still haven't moved my rankings that way just based on that one report, but I could see it.
50:38Jason wants me to draft Rico Dowdle. I've got three running backs, so that would be great, but I was not saying that for that.
50:46I was genuinely just reporting the news. Boy who cried wolf over here.
50:50Yeah. It's early, but feeling like what's going to happen on this turn, I might not get him, so I'm just going to take ...
50:58Hold on, I've got to find a thing. What are we?
51:02The Corey Krosky Merritt. I ... I ... It's getting sweatier, guys.
51:06Yeah, you like him. I'm getting sweatier for what's going on with Bill, and I don't necessarily like it about myself.
51:12Yeah, I mean, digs, helps the offense, helps the commanders entirely.
51:16And going with Jaden, we'll see if that works out.
51:19This was good for me. I really needed a wide receiver, and I feel like there's one left that I like here.
51:26I like late wide receivers, but I'm going to take Makai Lemon.
51:30I took the old guy last round of Mike Evans, take the young guy this time.
51:35He was the next name across all positions up on my board.
51:39It's a good pick. It is interesting. You've got Lamb and Evans, and then you're going the youngster in Lemon.
51:46Mason, Pittman, Laporta. Devastating, Jason. Great pick by ...
51:48Oh, you have Warren. Cash there with Jonathan Brooks at the 801.
51:52Sutton, Rashad White, and Jason pulling the trigger immediately on Dak Prescott.
51:56I've been waiting. I was wondering if Betts, who has George Pickens, would take that stack earlier.
52:02He didn't. And if ... So that's Dak over Dart.
52:05That's Dak over Lawrence. Dak over Caleb. It's entirely with the stack.
52:09I wanted the CeeDee Lamb-Dak stack. Yeah. That makes sense.
52:12I pulled an ADP rope-a-dope. I let Rico go through because I thought Bill would get drafted.
52:17Rico made it back, so I'm going to take him as my RB4 here.
52:22All right, Rico Dato goes at the 805. Jackson Dart at 806.
52:26DK Metcalf at 807. And unsurprisingly, or maybe surprisingly, Kyle Pitts at 808, which I think is a great deal.
52:32Gets him about two rounds later than Fannin. I told you I believe in Kyle Pitts.
52:37I wasn't lying. I'm not proud of it. Kyle Monungai, Blake Corum.
52:41I wanted Corum at 812 or 901 here. Josh Downs off the board.
52:45Now I have to really do some thinking here.
52:48I'm going to take a wide receiver that'll be out there every single down on an offense I'm kind of optimistic about.
52:55I'm going to take Quentin Johnston. Yeah. And then I'm going to take a shot.
53:00Now, I need to pick a rookie. I want to pick a rookie wide receiver here.
53:05Concepcion. Yeah. Stribbling. I'm going to take a shot on Stribbling.
53:09Okay. The substation may be resistant to youth. I'm not sure yet.
53:13I'm going to take Stribbling as a shooter shot.
53:15I mean, it's not because he was already banged up.
53:19But yeah, Pierce. Well. Pierce. So is not. He's not.
53:22He's not young anymore. Yeah, but he's been hurt since he got.
53:26He has. Tony Pollard. Kenny Gainwell. Zach Charbonnet in the ninth round here as we get close to the end of the draft.
53:33Al Borland on the clock with. He's got a good set of running backs on this roster.
53:39Just took Kyle Pitts and really can't decide what to do here.
53:42I gave him time. Yeah. You did. He is.
53:45Sorry. I was looking for a guy. He's gone.
53:48You're now. You're now. You should try to draft him.
53:51Just do it verbally. You're officially the slowest person.
53:54Draft him verbally. I'm definitely faster than all three of you.
53:58We're talking. That's the point. We're doing a show.
54:01Everybody else. You get to noodle out all your picks.
54:04But nobody else in the draft does. Everybody else takes their picks.
54:08Jaden Reed goes next. George Kittle. Aaron Jones and Mike.
54:11You're on the clock. George Kittle would have. That would have delighted you.
54:15Yeah. That would have been my pick for sure.
54:18I think I'm set here at the. At the running back position.
54:22I feel good about those. That four pack. I need a tight end in these.
54:27These last three picks. Wish it was George Kittle.
54:30Man. Have you guys. I don't. I don't think I'm going to take it.
54:34But I think it's worth a conversation. Have you guys been reading the latest on.
54:39Boston. Yeah. I was going to say David Boston.
54:42But that is. Denzel Boston. He's been dominating. According to reports.
54:45People are saying he might be the one. Like.
54:48I think that's probably hyperbolic. I mean. But that's.
54:51Why wouldn't he be. Well. Because you saw Concepcion in the first round.
54:55I don't care about that. I thought you were talking about Judy.
54:59Oh. Oh. There's room for anybody to be the one on that team.
55:03And they certainly aren't going to. I mean. We saw this in Green Bay years ago.
55:08The higher drafted wide receiver wasn't the one that established himself there.
55:12I mean. And it. Best man. For the job.
55:15All right. I'm taking. I still think that. That Chris Godwin has.
55:19Oh. You did it again man. It's a good job.
55:22I like the pick. I think he has something left in the tank.
55:26And. I like Ibuka. But. I don't think it's crazy to say that at the end of the year.
55:32Chris Godwin has the most targets for. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
55:36I agree. And some of the reports on him have been.
55:40Glowing on his health and explosiveness. Second year off of an injury.
55:43Which. Multiple injuries that he gets throughout his career.
55:46Yeah. I'm going to pull the trigger on Matthew Golden here.
55:50Okay. Obviously we talked about him earlier in the leader of the pack segment.
55:54I think at cost he is a value. He's got the opportunity to be an every down starter for a good offense.
56:01Just please be good. I don't think you are.
56:04But just do it. Surprise me. Well. The other two are off the board.
56:09Right? Reed and. No. I think Reed was still there.
56:12No. He wasn't. Okay. Went at 9.05. Caleb Williams.
56:15Justin Herbert. Romeo Dobbs. Jacoby Myers. Chris Rodriguez. That was.
56:18I was trying to sneak Chris Rodriguez out on my team.
56:22Oh. Tank Dell. Tank Dell at 10.03. Jason back on the clock.
56:25Mike following Jason. All right. Wow. Tank Dell going ahead of Jaden Higgins.
56:30I love Tank Dell. But Jaden Higgins has also been doing some good things.
56:34I'm going to take Jonah Coleman, a player I love.
56:37He's currently. That's an interesting pick. He's currently third on the depth chart.
56:41Obviously you've got. I'm not sure he's worth a pick.
56:45You might not think so. But I believe that Jonah Coleman is an excellent player.
56:49Everything that has been said recently about him is that he's basically like a veteran.
56:54He doesn't seem like a rookie at all. I don't believe in R.J.
56:58Harvey. And J.K. Dobbins gets injured. Batman. That's funny.
57:01No? Batman? I don't believe. I believe in Harvey.
57:04Oh. Come on. Keep up, baby. ADP has obviously not caught up here.
57:08But I'm going to take the ultimate late round sneaky stack here to go with Jaden Daniels.
57:14I will take Stephon Diggs. Yeah. He will not go here in drafts, I don't think.
57:19But also at the same time, his ADP won't get out of control.
57:23And he's coming off 1,000 yards. We have Stephon Diggs off the board to Mike.
57:28Jordan Addison goes next. And now we're waiting on Josh.
57:31Casey Concepcion off the board. Travis Hunter goes next.
57:34Jaden Higgins in the 10th round back behind Tankdale.
57:37Trevor Lawrence and Denzel Boston. I did want Diggs.
57:40I'm going to take a shot on Jacoby Lane right now in Baltimore.
57:44So hot right now. And so I've just been going wide receivers pretty much through and through.
57:50I'm going to take Debo Samuel as well with my final pick.
57:53Man, you're riding low tee. I mean, when you have Gibbs, Jacobs, and Irving, I feel pretty good.
57:59All right. You know, my options at running back, I could have gone Kamara or Tracy or Woody Marks.
58:05Yeah. I'm happy with my choices. That's fair. Dallas got it.
58:09I love the pick. Kyle, great last round. Tight end option.
58:12Brock Purdy goes next. Tyler Shuck in the final round here.
58:16Kamara and Marks. And Hurst. Oh, yeah. Thank you.
58:19I'm on the board. Thank you, Kurt. Ted Hurst goes in the 11th.
58:23Probably just for that. And Mike and Jason, final pick.
58:26Mike, you have to take a tight end. I'll stand up and shout.
58:30Don't Kade. That is a great last pick at tight end.
58:34I'm looking for. That's over likely. That's over. It is.
58:37Kelsey. I'm fine taking Travis Kelsey here. Like I've said, it's the floor play.
58:42If you want a top 10 tight end, I think Travis Kelsey fits the bill for that.
58:47But I'm trying to do a little bit better than that.
58:51So here, I'm just swinging for the fences on a young wide receiver.
58:55There's plenty of guys on the waiver wire I can get that could go out and get me eight points.
59:01I'm hoping that what we've seen from Zachariah Branch, rookie wide receiver for the Falcons, he's been making plays and the opportunity is there.
59:09I mean, part of why you like Kyle Pitts and you're embarrassed about it is because there's really a big void for targets after Drake London.
59:17All right. That is going to round out our mock draft.
59:21If you want to see the entire draft board, you can do that on YouTube.
59:25My team ended up Gibbs, Jacobs and Irving at running back.
59:29Josh Allen's my quarterback. Harold Fannin's my tight end.
59:32I feel like I got some good onesies there.
59:35Adams, Harrison, Quentin Johnson, Stribbling Lane and Samuel at wide receiver.
59:38I kind of like that. I like the it's feels kind of hero RB, even though that's not what the strategy is.
59:45Just shotgunning wide receivers later. I started with Dak Prescott to stack with CeeDee Lamb.
59:50My onesies, Dak and Tyler Warren. Wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb, Mike Evans, Makai Lemon, Matthew Golden and Zachariah Branch.
59:56And at running back, I got the young guys, Ashen Jinty, Cam Scadaboo, Quinshawn Judkins and Jonah Coleman.
60:02At running back, I got CMC, Ken Bone Walker, Bill Krosky, Merritt and Rico Dowdle.
60:07My wide receivers are Malik Neighbors, Devontae Smith, Jamison Williams, Chris Godwin, Stephon Diggs.
60:11And I got Jane Daniels to go with Stephon Diggs and Dalton Kincaid is my tight end.
60:17Yeah, you got a good deal on Daniels in the draft and getting Diggs late as well.
60:22A good steal there. One final reminder, the Megalist show almost sold out.
