47

A'Shawn Robinson

PositiveRole0:09

A'Shawn Robinson is going as a top-10 running back (RB8) for the Dolphins, but there is a significant drop-off in weapons after him with no other notable offensive weapons drafted.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveProjection0:37

Baker Mayfield is in the last year of his contract with Tampa Bay; if the Buccaneers struggle significantly, there's a possibility they clean house, though the analyst expects him to receive a contract extension.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveValue0:55

At the first overall pick, the analyst prefers Bijan Robinson or Jameer Charles, indicating he likes the guys at the 2-3 turn in draft position.

Insight page

Brandon Aubrey

PositiveValue0:51

If the analyst has Brandon Aubrey at kicker, he would never vote against removing kickers from the league, indicating Aubrey's elite value makes kickers worth keeping.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveProjection0:54

Brenton Strange won't be consistent but will have more spike weeks due to the high-powered offense projecting to have many touchdowns to go around.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue0:43

Brock Bowers should not be avoided despite being on the same team as a running back keeper; the analyst explicitly says 'No. Oh, my gosh, no. No.'

Insight page
PositiveValue0:44

In a keeper league decision between a 3rd-round pick for Bowers vs. a 2nd-round pick for Saquon Barkley, the analyst would keep Bowers, citing that while Saquon goes higher in drafts, the ADP between the two is close enough that Bowers offers better value at his draft position.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

NegativeProjection0:11

CJ Stroud's fantasy production has declined significantly from his rookie year (4,123 passing yards) to his sophomore year and beyond, suggesting the offensive system changes may have negatively impacted his performance.

Insight page

Cam Ward

PositiveProjection0:14

Cam Ward is expected to take a step forward in year two, as top-10 quarterbacks have averaged 2.6 more fantasy points per game in their second season over the last decade, though his performance remains uncertain.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveBreakout0:14

Carnell Tate has received glowing reviews throughout the offseason and was added to the Titans to provide Cam Ward with an elite receiving option for year-two improvement.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:53

Carnell Tate is expected to receive targets vacated by Chigakonkwo's departure from the Titans, as one of the team's new offensive additions.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveValue0:09

Chris Bell is the highest-drafted wide receiver for the Dolphins at WR92, despite Malik Washington being the projected top target based on early camp reports.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveInjury0:30

Chris Olave is scheduled to go off blood thinners on June 29th after being sidelined by a blood clot (not a concussion as initially thought); he will be limited to individual work until cleared.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:48

Despite being an awesome top-10 wide receiver, the analyst is very skeptical and worried about Chris Olave due to his concussion history and recent blood clot issue, making him hesitant to hold him in dynasty despite his on-field talent.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveRole0:40

Colston Loveland is viewed as a key cog in the Chicago offense alongside Luther Burden and Odunze, with potential to lead the team in targets.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeBust0:33

DJ Moore is expected to fizzle out; the analyst notes 'it's still kind of exciting and they'll probably do nothing and never be heard from again.'

Insight page

Dak Prescott

NegativeProjection0:33

The analyst is worried about Dak Prescott in two years, believing he will be great this year but that 'we're near the end for Dak' as he ages.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveRole0:54

Dalton Schultz was the number two target for his team, serving as a reference point for evaluating tight end target share potential.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeBust0:33

DK Metcalf has already fizzled out despite signing a large contract.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveValue0:48

In a dynasty context, Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave are back-to-back in dynasty startups with Olave going ahead, making a trade between Wilson and Travon Henry more difficult than trading Olave for Henry.

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveProjection0:18

Geno Smith is viewed favorably by the hosts as a potential breakout candidate for the Jets, who have many good offensive weapons to support him.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

PositiveSleeper0:11

Greg Dulcich is a deep sleeper at tight end for the Dolphins who showed success toward the end of last year and could benefit from the team's offensive improvements.

Insight page

Gunnar Helm

PositiveSleeper0:53

Gunnar Helm has great sleeper potential as the Titans' tight end after they got rid of Chigakonkwo; he had a few top-10 weeks last year and will have high snap count this year as their guy.

Insight page

Gus Edwards

PositiveProjection0:28

Gus Edwards had an elite yards per carry average of approximately 6 yards per carry for three straight years with Baltimore.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeBust0:28

Despite elite efficiency, JK Dobbins has a history of injuries that limits his fantasy value; the analyst notes he 'always gets hurt' and questions whether getting him for only 3 weeks is worthwhile.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:28

JK Dobbins has an elite rushing yards per carry average of 5.2, ranking among the best since 2000 alongside Devon Achan, Jamal Charles, and Jameer Gibbs.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

NegativeBust0:32

Jerry Judy will probably never be heard from again in fantasy football.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveRole0:27

RJ Harvey's shoulder surgery opens the door for Jonah Coleman to see more work during training camp and potentially usurp him during the season.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveBreakout0:49

The analyst wants Jordan Tyson, noting that if anything goes wrong with Chris Olave, Tyson's value goes to the moon, suggesting significant upside if Olave's injury concerns materialize.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveSleeper0:54

The analyst likes Juwan Johnson from the Saints because the team has a top-five pick wide receiver and a free agent wide receiver they gave money to, making his target share very safe as the tight end.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveValue0:49

The analyst would rather have Lad McConkey than trade him for Travon Henry, suggesting McConkey is more valuable than the running back in a dynasty context.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveBreakout0:39

Luther Burden is ranked significantly higher than Marvin Harrison Jr. with active positivity; he looked better on the field at the end of the season and has a chance to lead the team in targets with a breakout season.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveRole0:10

Malik Washington is projected to be the top target at wide receiver for the Dolphins based on early camp reports, despite being undrafted in current ADP.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveValue0:08

Malik Willis is currently going as QB18, making him a late-round quarterback pick with significant upside if he starts every game, as mobile quarterbacks typically finish as top-12 fantasy options.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:47

Malik Willis's impact will matter a lot for the Dolphins, and the analyst has been saying this since before he was signed; Willis looked better than some quarterbacks with contracts in his couple of starts.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeBust0:39

Marvin Harrison Jr. has been disappointing and hasn't yet demonstrated dominant play; there is active negativity toward him compared to Luther Burden.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeRole0:41

Michael Wilson is not viewed as a threat in the Arizona offense compared to Luther Burden, Colston Loveland, and Rome Odunze.

Insight page

Nicholas Singleton

NegativeBust0:32

Nicholas Singleton could fizzle out of the league.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeInjury0:26

RJ Harvey underwent surgery this offseason to repair a torn labrum suffered in the championship game loss, raising concerns about his availability and durability.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue0:45

The analyst is somewhat bullish on a Saquon bounce-back, believing that a 2nd-round keeper cost (208 ADP) is a deal for the team given the Eagles' offensive line and defensive identity, though not projecting him as a top-2 back.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveRole0:45

Tank Bigsby will not eat into Saquon Barkley's role at all, and the analyst plans to have him on tons of teams as a late-round insurance back in a great offense, noting he has looked great the last couple of years.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveValue0:16

Tony Pollard is not a high-ceiling player but offers floor value in certain draft builds, especially if the Titans' offense improves and he gets more touchdown opportunities.

Insight page
NegativeBust0:32

Tony Pollard could certainly fizzle out of the league.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveProjection0:06

Travis Etienne Jr. could see improved fantasy production if the Saints flip from trailing on 77% of plays last year to winning more games, creating more touchdown opportunities for the running back.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveValue0:14

Wandale Robinson was added to the Titans as a receiving weapon and is currently a 10th-round pick, offering value if the Titans' offense takes a step forward.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:53

With the additions of Wandale Robinson and Carnell Tate to the Titans, the targets vacated by Chigakonkwo are expected to go to those two wide receivers rather than to Gunnar Helm.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeBust0:33

Woody Marks could fizzle out and you may never hear from him again.

0:38To the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
0:43Hi! Welcome in. Thursday, June 18th, Mike Wright, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway.
0:47Welcome in to the show. Should be a fun one today.
0:50Going to talk about some surprising teams for the upcoming year.
0:54In fact, I just saw the, I think the betting odds on coach of the year candidates.
0:59Yes. Before the show, it was John Harbaugh. Makes total sense.
1:03With the Giants. And then it was... With the Ravens.
1:06And then it was Sala. So, you know, the Ravens have been winners, but...
1:10You know, the opportunity to take a step forward, maybe, with a new head coach and the other two teams.
1:17Turnaround teams. Right? I mean, the Giants. You know, I think that's gotta be the coach of the year situation that's most
1:24often, you know, it's a team that was bad that turns it around.
1:28It is funny to think about the opposition, you know, of Ravens fans, their coach.
1:33I mean, the team parted ways with Harbaugh, but he immediately goes and gets a job.
1:38And so you're like, do they want him to succeed?
1:42You know what I mean? He might be far enough away from them that they do.
1:47Okay. I don't think they do. If that was...
1:50It's kind of like when Andy Reid left Philadelphia and went far, far away to the AFC.
1:55You know, to me, it's a bigger deal if they stay in the conference, but...
2:00Certainly. But I don't know. I would imagine Ravens fans...
2:03I'm not a Ravens fan, but I would imagine I love John Harbaugh and know hard feelings.
2:09Maybe. I mean, he brought you a Super Bowl.
2:12Yeah. So I, you know, Andy Reid, how do Philly fans feel about Andy Reid?
2:16They never... He never got them one. Yeah. He got ran out of town.
2:21Yeah. But now... Is my memory of it. Well, they knew that he could win in the regular season, but he can't win a Super Bowl.
2:29No. No. It will never happen. Can't do that.
2:32They're fine because they went and got their own.
2:35So they're like, whatever. We're fine. On Tuesday, we announced the Megalist Show, our live event of the entire summer in Phoenix.
2:42The Fantasy Footballers Live, the Megalist Show presented by SiriusXM, sponsored by GMC and PetSmart.
2:47If you haven't picked up tickets yet, because they are selling very quickly.
2:51There are still some good... I mean, honestly, the venue is...
2:55They're all great tickets, but there's still... Some of the closer tickets are available, but they are moving.
3:01So if you are wanting to secure a seat closer up to the stage, I would go check it out right now.
3:08That'll be Friday, August 28th at the Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona.
3:12Ballers Live. It's going to be a hoot comp.
3:15Jason will, and we confirmed this today, he will be back with his t-shirt cannon.
3:20I will. We're getting approved of this? But we're not 100% sure it's going to be allowed.
3:25I'm going to bring it. The venue is... It doesn't have the height...
3:29It's got a mezzanine. It does. It does. But it doesn't have the height that the Palace Theater in Los Angeles had.
3:36And I think if I shoot this to, let's just call it ground level, from the stage, I think I will kill people.
3:44And so, I don't know. We're looking to do insurance policies.
3:47I don't really like any of that stuff you just said.
3:51He'll bank it off the roof if he has to.
3:54I mean, they're t-shirts. What's the worst that can happen?
3:57With an apple inside! Ha ha ha! What? How you like them apples?
4:02Pow! An apple. I'm here to feed the Foot Clan.
4:05Maybe Mike will have the t-shirt can. That's all I'm saying.
4:08But we have some special stuff planned for the show.
4:12It'll be a perfect way to kick off the season.
4:15Friday, August 28th, ballerslive.com. The Ultimate Draft Kit's available right now at ultimatedraftkit.com.
4:19Quick question of the day. I mentioned it. What team do you think will surprise the most this season?
4:25Three different answers here. Mike, you went with the team...
4:28Mine is disgusting. I mean, my real answer... I was shocked to see yours.
4:33My real answer is Jason's answer, but I have gone on and on about them.
4:38So I'll let someone else talk about it. But you want me to go first?
4:43Well, now you teed up Jason. So let Jason give the team that you apparently had in first place but couldn't claim quick enough.
4:50Yeah, I mean, I do think when I was looking at teams that I liked to have a bounce back, to have a surprise, I was between two.
4:59One was the Raiders, who I think they're going to be better than we expect, but they're in such a tough division.
5:07It's going to be really difficult for them to actually surprise and, oh man, they're going to the playoffs.
5:13And the other was the New Orleans Saints. And they are in the perfect division where all four teams could win that division.
5:20That's part of it. The other part is Tyler Shuck.
5:23I mean, if you don't remember how last year went, let me read you how last year went for the Saints.
5:30They had a snake man named Spencer Rattler and it went loss, loss, loss, loss, win, loss, loss, loss.
5:36Then they made a change at quarterback and went five and four the rest of the way with Tyler Shuck.
5:43He's able to lead this team. I think they added great pieces in the draft.
5:48We talked about Kellen Moore and his pace of play and how that works for the offense.
5:53And from a fantasy perspective, I do think that the offensive speed with, you know, assuming Tyson ever gets his hamstring tied
6:00on or whatever they need to do there. I think the Saints are going to be a good team.
6:06And so a lot of times, I mean, this could really impact, say, Travis H.
6:11and Jr. We want, you know, running backs who are winning more like last year.
6:16I believe the Saints trailed on 77 percent of their offensive plays.
6:20That's not running back success. And so if they flip over and you go, oh, this is a team that, hey, they won nine games.
6:28That's going to be more success for the running back.
6:31That's an interesting I mean, the Saints are, I think, a team we're all rooting for.
6:36I would agree with that. I think that division like are they a good team or are they the best team in the division?
6:44I'm not sure those are the same thing. I look at that stretch rundown at the end of the year.
6:51They beat Tampa Bay, Carolina, the Jets, Tennessee for that four game winning streak.
6:55Carolina was the other win in that stretch. Everything else is a loss.
6:59So they're going to play those teams again. Yeah, they'll play Carolina and Tampa.
7:04And Kyle shared a graphic that just made me laugh.
7:07It was it was all four teams in that division, the Falcons, the Panthers, the Saints in Tampa Bay, all with a
7:14thought bubble above their head that says, wow, this division sucks.
7:18Thank God I'm on the only good team here because you can 100 percent make the argument for every team in that division.
7:25Like I can see Carolina. I can make that argument why they can win the division definitely can do it with Tampa Bay and what their personnel is.
7:34I think the hardest argument is probably Atlanta. But from a skill position standpoint, B.
7:39John Drake London, if they can figure the quarterback position out.
7:43But no, I think the Saints because of the division, because of the youth that they added another weapon for Tyler Shuck
7:50is certainly a team that is primed to surprise.
7:53I think that the Saints can have a one at every single position as a QB one wide receiver RB and tight end one for fantasy purposes.
8:02Yeah, they better win. That's the path. Mike, you said you had a disgusting.
8:06Yeah, because I want to bring them up. They just they they're not talked about really ever as you will see by
8:13the ADP, but it's the Miami Dolphins. Oh, and it's like I mean, the big splash.
8:18It starts. I have another Malik brother. I will.
8:21Malik Willis is I love him as a as a late round pick.
8:25He right now is quarterback 18 is what I'm seeing.
8:29So this is that is the that is late round quarterback.
8:32Like if you are you should be drafting him even if you drafted someone high hundred percent as a second quarterback.
8:39This is if he starts every game, there's zero percent chance he finishes at 18.
8:44Correct. Right. It is. This is what when when the strategy really started to take off.
8:49It was, you know, and shout out to JJ Zachary, some great friend of the show.
8:54He put his PDF out and like it kind of changed the landscape where it was telling people you can put together.
9:01You can piecemeal together production at the quarterback position late in your draft, especially when guys are mobile.
9:07And now you need them to be like they have to give you production through the air to become elite.
9:14But if they are a mobile quarterback, they're going to finish as a top 12 guy.
9:19It's just going to happen. And and it was always you can get these guys late because no one's really interested.
9:26People are not interested in Malik Willis the way I I thought he would be like 13 14.
9:31So the fact that he's going this late it you know, we have I haven't done enough.
9:37Well, I've tried all off here with you. It's just I think I think the tough thing and the reason he won't
9:44rise is because there are no weapons. Yes. So you have a Chan who he's going as a as a top 10 running back right now.
9:52Rb8 after that it's it is pure nothing. And in fact, the ADP I'm seeing right now is rookie Chris Bell is the highest drafted wide receiver.
10:01Meanwhile, if you're paying attention to the beat reporters Malik Washington is going to be the top target at the wide receiver
10:08position, at least the way that that things are unfolding with the early camp.
10:13Normally, when a team has vacated targets, they have the most vacated targets in the league.
10:18Yeah, they're a community will 50 53 percent of their targets and 78 percent of their air yards are gone.
10:24And normally we'll pick somebody and at least one, two names get elevated for taking a shot.
10:30And right now that has happened. Not at all.
10:33I'm curious, Kyle, look this up if you can.
10:36I'm curious what the lowest ranked number one wide receiver for a team is like ever.
10:41Like in the last decade? Like in the last if they played, say, 16 games or 15.
10:46So, you know, I'm just curious. Oh, you mean end of season.
10:50End of season. Like who's what team has had the lowest like until their first wide receiver was taken?
10:56Because right now they're undrafted. Yeah, they're all undrafted.
10:59But I'm wondering if if we look that up and assuming health, because I'm sure there's teams where no one was really healthy.
11:07And they, you know, they finished their best one finishes water receiver 88.
11:11But I would imagine if guys are healthy, it's very difficult to have an NFL team not in the top like 50.
11:18But we'll see. Kyle's Kyle's a robot. Well, nobody said anything nice about Miami all offseason.
11:23And I'm glad that you're doing this. Greg Dolcich, I've brought him up before as a, you know, a very deep sleeper
11:30at the tight end position who, I mean, not outrageous production towards the end of the year.
11:36But he ended with a string of success for the team.
11:39And then I wanted to bring up a name who has like, he became a curse name is Bobby Sloick, who was
11:47the OC for CJ Stroud's rookie year. And you had the breakout.
11:50And that year, if you recall, you had Ben Johnson, you have Bobby Sloick there, the bell of the ball.
11:57They could go to any team they want. The two future stars.
12:01Both of them stay put or stay put. But Ben Johnson has another monster year with the Lions and the Texans really fall off.
12:09Why I'm bringing that up is maybe it wasn't.
12:11Maybe it wasn't Bobby Sloick who took he took all the smoke, all the heat of the Texans offensive failures from that second year went to Bobby Sloick.
12:21But he wasn't there last year. Correct. And Stroud would look like, I mean, fantasy wise, Stroud was, uh, I get points per game.
12:28I guess he was slightly better than his sophomore year, but it was not.
12:33That wasn't the strength of the team. So I'm just bringing it up of like, well, let's go back at 4123 out of CJ Stroud his rookie year.
12:42And it is just fallen. It's gotten worse, you know, as we're going.
12:46So maybe Bobby Sloick wasn't the huge problem. If Malik Willis works, he will be like, he'll be really solid for fantasy.
12:53I have no question with a Chan and it's like, and the money that they just spent on a Chan to me
13:00as you know, you got to follow it. Okay.
13:03We got to keep him on the field. He's not a player who you can overload with carries.
13:09You can overload him with targets, but so it's just pay attention to this team.
13:14Cause there is the ADPs here are just, just ridiculous.
13:17Chris Bell wide receiver 92, and then just no one else.
13:21Well, the, uh, the final team, my team for the surprise of 2026, by the way, our three teams, Miami was 25th in points per game last year.
13:30Jason's, uh, New Orleans saints 28th in points per game.
13:33Um, my team was 30th in points per game.
13:36So we're talking all three of them, bottom third offenses opportunities to fix it at the quarterback position.
13:42And on the offensive side, it's the Tennessee Titans.
13:45Um, I, I still believe in cam Ward. I certainly believe in Brian Dable.
13:49We talked about Robert Sala third leading candidate for coach of the year potential.
13:54So I'm not concerned with cam boards. There was a comical report that Saul is not concerned about the apparent report of OTA inaccurate passes.
14:02I'm like, Mike's like, you should be concerned about completing, completing passes.
14:06If not your primary concern is that your quarterback is accurate.
14:09Traditionally year two is a good bet for quarterbacks to take a step forward.
14:14Um, the last decade has seen top 10 quarterbacks average 2.6 more fancy points per game in year to cam Ward had
14:21a nice into the season where he reduced the turnovers was throwing some touchdowns.
14:25You have added Carnell Tate where, you know, some off season, you know, rookies have had hype.
14:31Some haven't everything about Carnell Tate has been glowing.
14:34They add one Dale Robinson. Um, to me, this offense with Brian Dable is primed to have success.
14:40And, you know, it's not the same as the, you know, the saints inside of that South, but it's not, it's not a division.
14:47You couldn't see a team making a move in like Houston.
14:51Their defense is incredible. What is their offense? Indianapolis.
14:54Are they going to be able to do what they did last year with Daniel Jones?
14:59He's coming back from injury. Jacksonville. I think we're evolved.
15:02We all have high expectations, but Trevor Lawrence has disappointed us before.
15:06So I think they have the pieces to do it.
15:09The whole, this, this one rests to me entirely on cam Ward.
15:13Like if cam Ward plays like he did last year, the pieces are, are not going to matter, but he does have,
15:20like, like adding Carnell Tate and Wandale Robinson. I, I really like their option to, to take a massive step forward.
15:27They've done everything right to give cam Ward what he needs.
15:31Now, will he be able to perform? Yeah. I'm skeptical.
15:34Yeah. And I know we're all going to be watching because this was a three and 14 team last year.
15:40Um, but those are three teams. I think we believe could have surprising years.
15:45And, and with that comes, you know, Mike brought up that nobody's being drafted in Miami.
15:50Yeah. So you don't have to do very much at all, but nobody's being drafted really other than like Carnell Tate is
15:57like a six round pick right now. You don't, nobody's drafted in the running backs in Tennessee.
16:03Wandale's a 10th round pick and that's it. I mean, cam Ward is undrafted.
16:07So if these teams take step forwards, specifically in what I mentioned, 25th, 28th and 30th and points per game, you get
16:14to the middle of the pack, you're going to have more relevant fantasy play.
16:19Mm-hmm. I think, I think Tony Pollard is right now.
16:22He's not a high ceiling type of player, but in certain builds, like we were talking about zero RB, um, depending on
16:29how far he's falling in a draft, you can get a starter.
16:33Who's one of the only guys who's like rushed for a thousand yards in the last handful of seasons.
16:39And if the team takes a step forward and he has more touchdown opportunities could be a, a value for a floor play.
16:47Absolutely. All right. We'll take a break and we'll jump into the news.

17:41News and notes from around the league. See, I thought maybe they put the helmets out on the table of the surprise
17:48teams because I saw Miami show up here. OK.
17:51I saw Vegas over there. Jason mentioned Vegas. But then I saw this team.
17:56I saw the Jets up here. And none of us said that.
18:00None of us said the Jets. Yeah. I could see it happening.
18:04I'm not pessimistic about I'm I am, of course, pessimistic about the Jets future as a franchise the same way just because they're a bad franchise.
18:12But I could see them surprising this year. They have so many good offensive weapons.
18:17Yeah. Yeah, Jason. That was the completion of my thought.
18:20Jason could see that. I. Yeah. You are a big Geno fan.
18:24I just want you to know that. I want you to know what you are.
18:29OK. And you are a big Geno fan. Take it on the chin.
18:33I'm so congrats on that. We'll get you a jersey.
18:36Texas Tech quarterback. Brendan Sorsby plans to enter the NFL supplemental draft.
18:40OK. This is a big deal. Sorsby was if he.
18:43So he's he was embroiled in the gambling scandal that basically knocked him out of eligibility.
18:49Then he sued the school and then he dropped the lawsuit and entered the supplemental draft.
18:54And that's a really short summary of what happened.
18:57And I think he had bet over $90,000 over, you know, on his team when he was with Indiana and then other games.
19:04And none of it was good. Did he win?
19:07But don't ask. I don't. I just want to know if he's got a good head on his shoulders because it doesn't sound like it.
19:15It's ask Pete Rose if they won. I don't know if he's going to win.
19:20The point being he's going to enter the supplemental draft, which is something we've never really had to talk about much on
19:27this show before because the players entering it weren't really very interesting.
19:31Sorsby was a projected first or second round pick in next year's draft.
19:35If he had a good season at Texas Tech, most pundits would say he was probably going to have a chance of
19:42being in the top 10 of next year's draft.
19:45So for the first time in a long time, this is a player that has the chance to be drafted in the NFL supplemental draft.
19:53And when you do that, a team will be exchanging a 2027 draft pick for Brendan Sorsby.
19:59And that pick could be a second. It could be a third.
20:03We don't know. It's really all over. The rumors are.
20:06Yeah. The last thing I saw this morning was that they think, you know, some people think one team will give up a second for him.
20:14I think third is all but guaranteed. That's high draft capital.
20:18And so for fantasy and the future, like he was a good prospect.
20:22And so dual threat quarterback, 18 touchdowns in two years.
20:25Yeah. A lot of rushing yards. He's a true dual threat.
20:29So for fantasy purposes, he is a name that you would like if he were to have been a first round draft
20:36pick in next year's pick in next year's draft.
20:39This would be someone in super flex that is going, you know, at the top of draft.
20:44So we had a big, big conversation on the dynasty show that came out last week on Wednesday.
20:50If you listen to the fantasy footballers dynasty podcast about what do you do if your rookie draft is over right now,
20:57which most most dynasty leagues have already done the rookie draft.
21:01But now this guy's going in because you got to figure that out.
21:05If you're in any dynasty league, you're going to have to figure that out.
21:10Does it go to waivers? Do you have another supplemental draft of your own?
21:14Does it go into next year? I didn't hear the conversation.
21:18I want to see where you ended up because I have a third option potentially.
21:23Okay. That just popped in my head and you guys can debunk it.
21:27But one of the challenges and tell me where you ended up.
21:31The challenge is if you just throw him in the 2027 draft, then he's completely ineligible for teams this year because your rookie draft has already taken place.
21:40And if you put him in the 2027 rookie draft, which I think is fine as an option, he's not likely to
21:47be drafted and then, you know, start and make a difference.
21:50But maybe so that's an option. Right. The other option is to execute like a supplemental style draft like the NFL does.
21:57Yep. That has its own challenges. Tell me where you ended up because I have another idea.
22:03I think we ended up with doing it just like the NFL does it with supplemental drafts where basically what you do
22:10is everyone does a blind bid on, you know, if you want him, you're giving up next year's pick.
22:16You can give up next year's second, next year's third.
22:19And then essentially whoever had the higher and this is exactly what the NFL does.
22:24Whoever had the higher pick in this year's draft, the worst order, if two teams were to bid a second, then whoever
22:31was the worst team this year gets them just like it was a draft.
22:36He'd have the first pick in that round. And theoretically, he then it will be giving up a higher pick in next year's draft.
22:44So that's where we landed as the as the preferred option.
22:47But we did give three totally legit options. I don't mind that.
22:51I think that's fine. I think it gets a little I could get complicated if a lot of pick movement has already happened for future years.
23:00Right. I guess. Yeah, you have to have the pick to bid it.
23:04Right. So if you don't have your own pick, but you have somebody else's to like messy for the NFL.
23:10What about this? Just came up with it. Top of my head.
23:14Probably dumb. What if it was just in season fab budget active for source beat?
23:19Well, you can, but not everyone has fab. Some what do you mean?
23:23Some people just do priority priority. Yeah, it wouldn't apply to them.
23:27Oh, the solution doesn't apply to those that do not have fab.
23:31I'm just saying I was just thinking about like if we all have our hundred dollar in season fab, a lot of
23:38people have off season fab, but wouldn't be talking about that.
23:42But if you just said everybody in our dynasty league today has their hundred dollar in season fab to bid, I think that would be it.
23:50You think people are going 100? No. So, I mean, I think that's an open free market to do that.
23:56I and obviously you should not be doing this until after the NFL supplemental draft.
24:01He still has to get approved. What do you want drafted?
24:05Yeah. What do you want? Which by the way, he's got a pro day coming up, I think in July.
24:11The 10th. What do you think we should do in our dynasty league, Mike?
24:16Like right this moment. The fact that we offer in in season fab, I think that's perfectly fine.
24:22Cause see that, that seems really clean to me.
24:25Is in a, and, and, you know, ours, we're in a single quarterback league.
24:29So there, I mean, I'm not, I'm not on the side of anticipating, uh, an NFL team is going to spend a
24:36third or a second, maybe a third, but on a guy who is just got marked ineligible to play in college football.
24:43Well, I know the judge overturned it, but for gambling.
24:47Yeah. Like this is a, this is a, this is a big, big, big, big, no, no.
24:52And the NFL to have a player anywhere associated with betting.
24:56If you, I mean, cause if a team exchanges a third, this is not like they're giving up a first.
25:02There's not a guaranteed to production for him in the future.
25:06You know, Carson Beck was a third round pick.
25:09If you told me Carson Beck is available for in season fab, he's not going for much.
25:14So I think, I think that is somewhere where that's an interesting way to do it.
25:19If you want him to have eligibility for this year, if you don't care about that, throw him into 2027.
25:26If you have a pretty clean future dynasty draft situation in 2027, do it that way.
25:31It's funny. As long as we've done this show, this is, I don't think ever been, cause the only two relevant guys
25:38in the past were Terrell Pryor and Josh Gordon.
25:41Oh, shout out to Josh Gordon. Yeah. Second round supplemental pick.
25:44But, uh, that was, that was also a dominant player.
25:48And then for a year. Yeah. Um, I don't think we had him back then.
25:53No gambling. Wasn't quite what it is to know.
25:55And marijuana wasn't quite what it is to correct.
25:58The, the rules were very different back then. Denver post is reporting RJ Harvey underwent surgery this off season to repair a torn labrum.
26:06He suffered in that championship game loss. Mike, how does that make you feel?
26:11Uh, it makes your shoulder. It makes me concern me.
26:14You don't think a shoulder would be important for a player who hits people with his shoulder all the time.
26:20Not as important as the legs in which he will use to run.
26:25Like I'm not concerned about a shoulder injury getting better.
26:28I mean, I it's, it doesn't change where my stance was on Harvey versus Dobbins.
26:33And the, uh, we just got more. And I know it's, we're in the coach speak era, but, uh, Coleman got Coleman's getting talked up.
26:41Oh, is he? I thought you were going to say JK Dobbins is going to get talked up by himself, which he did.
26:48He said he's going to be the number one.
26:51He made us a promise. He said he'll be the number one running back.
26:56I no injuries. I'm going to tell you this right now, Mike, if you want to take advice that will guaranteed payoff,
27:03you should make JK Dobbins a my guy. Why is that?
27:06Because it's just going to work. And you've been talking about it.
27:10I'm just telling you like, it's going to happen.
27:13People know. People know how much I love JK.
27:16Yeah. He's great. But I do think that this actually opens the door for Jonah Coleman a little bit.
27:22Not what they're going to open training camp and RJ Harvey is not going to be out there in pads and full contact.
27:30And that's not to say that, you know, when they hit the season, Coleman's going to usurp him.
27:35But it just means they're going to see more of Jonah Coleman and what he can do.
27:41It's exciting to me as someone who really liked the prospect.
27:44Yes. How many legs does Coleman and JK Dobbins have?
27:48Currently four. Each of them? Is JK? No, I was adding him up.
27:52Is it JK two legs? No, he's back. I was just checking.
27:56Currently? He's frequently one. That wasn't. I mean, the funny thing about Dobbins is like that hasn't been a big part of
28:03the discussion that you've brought up is the fact that he does always get hurt.
28:08And that is, you're like, you can get this starting running back.
28:12If you get him for three weeks, that's not good.
28:15No, but if you get him for, for 10 and like you realize that JK Dobbins career rushing yards per carry.
28:22Let me guess it. Let me guess. Please. Um, 5.2.
28:255.2. Oh, JK Dobbins. Yeah. Has a rushing yards per carry average of 5.2.
28:29What was the running back on Baltimore that played, that got the ball?
28:34Derrick Henry. No. Late in the game and had a ridiculous yards per carry for you.
28:39Gus Edwards. Oh, he became a starter. Gus Edwards.
28:42Yeah. They'd put him in there and he had like a six yards per carry for three straight years or something.
28:48Yeah. Oh man. Way to get that in there.
28:51I didn't even remember. We had that. But you were on that.
28:55That was really fast. You got a Gus bus button right next to you.
29:00Gotta be ready. Always. That quick. That is impressive work, man.
29:03Hit it. The thing for Coleman, the earth, I would say another issue I have with RJ Harvey is when JK Dobbins
29:10inevitably is a liar about getting hurt and because he'll probably get hurt.
29:15He promised. He did. I know. I've done. And I take, I said, you can't, you better not have your fingers crossed.
29:22Mr. Dobbins. I think Coleman steps into way more work than RJ Harvey does.
29:26Like that's, that's all part of my analysis of why I just don't like his.
29:31Here's a stat Kyle pulled up since 2000. The only running backs with 500 plus carries with a higher yards per carry
29:38than JK Dobbins is Devon Achan, Jamal Charles and Jameer Gibbs.
29:42No way that JK is not real close to 500 on that stat.
29:46Because wherever we're drawing that line, you have to draw it.
29:50He has more attempts than Achan. From, from 2023 to 2025.
29:53Wow. Okay. Dude. Dobbins is great. He just has a brittle body.
29:57Lad McConkie has strained his left hamstring during phase two of the chargers off season program expects to be ready for training camp.
30:04Um, that'll be important that he's ready for training camp if he's going to be trying to get into that two wide receiver mix.
30:12My boy, Trey Harris, more opportunities. Chris Olave is scheduled to go off blood thinners on June 29th.
30:18That is what shut down his season. Right when we said he was going to finally play a full season, it wasn't a concussion.
30:26It was a blood clot. That is a concern.
30:29And this was when we had looked into it.
30:32So Wimby went through too. This was the, the protocol.
30:35I think it was six months. You're on it for six months.
30:39And for someone like Olave, there's no reason just leave them on for the full entirety of the treatment.
30:45And while you're on it, I mean, you can't.
30:48You can't be getting hit. So he's been essentially held out just doing individual stuff.
30:53But June 29th, he is scheduled to get off the blood thinners and hopefully we get great news about how he looks.
31:00I will know. I mean, if he's just regular in training camp, there will be no worries of this at all.
31:07All right. It is time to jump into the mailbag.
31:10Mailbag. If you have a question for the show, we're here to help.
31:14I want you to get that Foot Clan title this year.
31:18Go to the website, thefantasyfootballers.com. Click that submit a question button or you can dial our voicemail hotline 302464-TFFB.
31:24By the way, at the Megalist Show in Phoenix on August 28th, ballerslive.com, we will be doing a live mailbag.
31:30That is one of the traditions of these live shows.
31:33It's super fun because people get to ask their questions in person.
31:37And they get to sing the mailbag. Yes. Yes.
31:40And they sing it well. Is that... I didn't know what word to use.
31:45Is it sing or is it shout? Say? Let it out.
31:48Okay. A voicemail question to kick us off. Hey, ballers.
31:52This is Matt from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Just want to say, huge fan.
31:55Quick question. What players do you think are going to fizzle out of the league?
32:00You know how Dalvin Cook and Michael Thomas just kind of just fizzled out?
32:05Who do you think is going to fizzle out by next year?
32:09Thank you, guys. Love the show. The question was, who is going to fizzle out?
32:14Players that... I would say injuries played a pretty big part in those guys fizzling out.
32:19Yeah. I mean, are we looking for big names or just anybody?
32:23The biggest names... The biggest names... I would go a relevant name who you're like, people will draft him for fantasy football.
32:30Evans or Adams is a relevant name that has the chance to fizzle out.
32:34Those would be two that... I'm not saying they will necessarily this year, but they both have the chance to do that.
32:41And then you just have, you know... Going through the ADP.
32:45Yeah. I'm looking too. I don't... I mean, Jerry Judy will probably never be heard from again.
32:50Yeah. Does that matter? I mean... To... Tony Pollard.
32:53Tony Pollard could certainly fizzle out. Nicholas Singleton. Pollard.
32:56Good. Woody Marks could fizzle out. You may never hear from him again.
33:00Oh, Brooks. I mean, there's a chance. Brooks is speaking my love language.
33:05Oh. Brooks is saying DK Metcalf, but he already fizzled out, guys.
33:08Sort of. I mean, I can't really argue with that.
33:12You should not sign that money and then lose to Kenny Gainwell in the receiving...
33:17Did you say DJ Moore? No, that's a great one.
33:20I mean, I think that's the name where it's like...
33:23It's still kind of exciting and they'll probably do nothing and never be heard from again.
33:28Is there a quarterback that you would say, after this year, you'll never hear their name again?
33:34Is there anybody in the starting... I mean, Aaron Rodgers notwithstanding.
33:37I mean, it's hard to say because he's literally the MVP, but at that age, when you lose it, you lose it.
33:44You know, Peyton went from MVP to just done and it comes with an injury, but Stafford is up there.
33:51And the player that I will say, I am worried about in two years.
33:55So it's like, I don't think he's going to fizzle out.
33:59I think he's going to be great this year.
34:02I love him this year. But I think we're near the end for Dak.
34:06Yeah. Dak is, you know, I think he's 36 and a half or something right now.
34:12I was going to guess my 30s. No way.
34:14He's older than you think. He's 32, Jason. Is he?
34:18Yeah. You don't normally get... He's younger than we all think.
34:21He's super young. I'm not in on that one.
34:24You take it back. I apologize for calling you 36.
34:27Yeah, that's a big deal in football. Yeah, I mean, that's a huge deal.
34:32Cameron Artis Payne didn't even lie that much. No, 32.9.
34:35Oh, never mind. He's 33. He's 33. He's 34 the next year.
34:39The great hairs. The great hairs come in at the .9.
34:43When you look at the ages of all of the...
34:46When you look at the ages of all the quarterbacks that are currently starting in the NFL, he is...
34:52He is the... Basically, the oldest, relevant, good... Like, Gino's older.
34:56Who is not already so close to out... You know, he's not...
34:59Obviously, we're going to go Aaron Rodgers and stuff, but I'm just saying, like, he's the next oldest, actually, currently good quarterback.
35:07He's 32, man. He should play for another five or six years.
35:10You think that, but there's not a lot of, like...
35:14There's not a bunch of 34-year-olds out there. They really do kind of drop off there.
35:19I mean, I know that we got the guys like Stafford and Rodgers that pushed past and Tom Brady, but there's plenty
35:26of examples of guys that, you know... Let me see if I can pull up a list of the quarterback ages.
35:33That would be interesting. I think you will not see starts in the NFL from Gino Smith, Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, or Michael Pennix again after this year.
35:42Yeah, Pennix was who I was going to say.
35:45And you could maybe throw Kyler Murray into there.
35:48So, here, let me... So, I've got the list right now.
35:51Aaron Rodgers, obviously super old. Matthew Stafford, super old.
35:54They're about to... Stafford's about to be 40. Rodgers is.
35:57Then it's Gino, who's old busted. But you love Gino.
36:01Jacoby Bursette is the same age as Dak. Jacoby and Dak are both 33...
36:05You know, they're going to play 33 years old this year.
36:09I mean, that's it. There's just... There's not players.
36:12There's not a bunch of guys that push through that.
36:15I mean, some... We haven't looked into it enough to like...
36:18Like, I don't know if that's just a gap in good quarterback play.
36:23Sure. I don't know if it's 33 year olds that flamed out or there just weren't any players in that tier.
36:29I mean, the good ones, they play a long time.
36:33I consider... I mean, is Dak... I have one name.
36:36I mean, Phillip Rivers played a long time, obviously.
36:39Big Ben played a lot longer than that. I don't know whether you count Dak in that category.
36:45I think Dak can play into his upper teams.
36:47I mean, when did Matt Ryan play till? 36?
36:50I do not recall. I mean, that would be another one of those...
36:55I was trying to see ages of like Pro Bowl quarterbacks, which is what Dak is.
37:00A quarterback who... Again, these are like trying to pick a name where you're like, well, no, they can't do that.
37:07But it happens every year. He's in the last year of his contract as Baker Mayfield.
37:12If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have massive struggles this year, there's a world, I think, where they just clean everything out.
37:18I would be really shocked if Baker plays... Well, that's the point!
37:22No, I'm saying I will be shocked if Baker plays this year without getting a contract extension.
37:28There's been talks recently of them extending him. Yeah, I might have just Cortland Suttoned this thing.
37:33Yeah. Yeah, it'll be interesting. Next question comes in.
37:36Another DJ Moore-related question from Nick. What is a reasonable return for DJ Moore in a dynasty league?
37:42I'm a middle-of-the-pack team. If you can get a two, I would take it.
37:47Yeah, that's where I'd be aiming is to try to get a two.
37:51People aren't going to give you a one. They shouldn't give you a one.
37:55There will be some... And he's worth more than a three.
37:59I mean, if you... It's a two. We are all anti-DJ Moore, right?
38:03Yes. So we're all very anti-DJ Moore because we know it's not going to work.
38:08But if you left me, like if you put him on my team and you left me alone for about 15, 20
38:15minutes, I could still try to find a path in my head.
38:19Oh, for sure. How about this? And so there are people in that league that I think you can get that trade done.
38:26Do you assume that in your dynasty league, the team that has Josh Allen is a competitive team?
38:32They're probably not... Generally speaking, yes. Generally speaking, they're a competitive team.
38:36Go to that team and be like, hey, if they're a championship type of team, you want your stack, trade me your
38:43first for DJ Moore, maybe he's done and he'll do it.
38:47Yeah, I think Moore will work really well in dynasty leagues as a throw-in to a bigger trade too.
38:53Not a throw-in, but a player to include. Let's take another break and we'll be back with some more questions.

39:41Instagram question from Cravenomics. Are you more optimistic about Luther Burden or Marvin Harrison Jr.
39:46this year? I mean, our rankings say what we are.
39:49It's like more optimistic about Luther Burden. Luther Burden by a lot for all three of us.
39:54I mean, optimism and Marvin Harrison are not. Which is the ultimate Jason question as the most outspoken Luther Burden hater on the show and loving Marv still.
40:03Jason, how do you respond? You do have a rank the closest.
40:07I am really close on this. I am very, very close.
40:11I don't. I mean, I could see Marv. Even without him in the puka role?
40:16Yeah. Luther has looked better on the field. Marv hasn't yet done something that just looks like a dominant player.
40:22He still has every opportunity to do it. I think if you told me who's going to get more targets this year,
40:29I still think it's going to be Marvin Harrison.
40:32I have Luther Burden three spots ahead of Marv.
40:35Yeah, you're the tightest in terms of that ranking.
40:38Yeah, you guys have a gap. We're 10 spots apart.
40:41I don't have a big gap. I think that when you're looking at those type of players, you just take the type you want, the archetype you want.
40:50You want the true, guaranteed number one of an offense, and you think Marv could still be that.
40:56Where Loveland, Odunze could easily be the key cogs in the Chicago offense.
41:00And you don't see Michael Wilson as a threat the way that those guys are.
41:05Luther could lead the team in targets and really have a breakout.
41:09But I have him third. In targets with those three.
41:12Yeah, behind Roman and Mr. Loveland. Yeah, I mean there is certainly an active positivity towards Luther Burden and an active negativity towards Marvin Harrison.
41:20Yes. Because of the end of the season for Burden, the departure of DJ Moore, compared to the disappointment that Marvin Harrison
41:27has been, the injury really messed up last year.
41:30It was just the end of the season for both these guys.
41:34Because at the end of the season, Marv was injured and Michael Wilson looked awesome, while Luther Burden looked really great going into the playoffs and explosive.
41:43So what we have, you know, recency bias certainly is on the Luther Burden side.
41:48Yeah, I mean I definitely, even though I have Burden ranked higher, I, you know, Mike, what percentage chance do you have
41:55that Harrison finishes ahead of Burden in fantasy? Because my percentage is in the...
41:59He said that Luther, Luther finishes higher. Sorry. Okay, the percentage chance that Luther Burden finishes higher than Marv...
42:06No, I actually meant the other way around. Since we both have Marv ranked...
42:10Either way, we'll give both answers. Well, I'm just saying since we both have...
42:15Which number do you want me to give you?
42:18Listen, we have Marv ranked much lower, so it stands to reason that the percentage should be...
42:23Okay. What's the chance the lower guy finishes higher?
42:26The chance that Marv outscores Luther Burden, I'll put it at...
42:30I got my percentage written down, since me and you both have a 10 player gap.
42:35I will put it at 39%. Yeah, I was going to say like 33%.
42:39Jason was probably... He'd probably say... Which is... That's not impossible.
42:4355-45? Yeah, I mean, I feel like I'm 50-50 on those two guys.
42:4755! There it is. By the way, another fade out or what did we say, fizzle player that Brooks brought up, mm-hmm.
42:54He's just 28, but it's already happening. TJ Hawkinson.
42:57Oh. My guy. We've already fired the flaming arrows at his casket.
43:01Who's? Hawkinson. Who? Oh, TJ Hawkinson. He was a tight end.
43:04He was. Yeah. And then he isn't. Instagram question from D.
43:08Heil. Oh, man. Hawkinson. Goodness gracious. That was a...
43:11That was fast. Yeah, that was... That was really fast.
43:14There was a real burn bright... You got the trade?
43:17Mm-hmm. Um... 10-team PPR keeper league. My keepers are Drake, London, and Jinty.
43:22Oh, good. Should I now avoid Brock Bowers? No.
43:25Oh, my gosh, no. No. In other words, you know, in general, as a running back and tight end on the same
43:32team risky, I don't ever think about it. I really don't.
43:35Because I don't think about them any tight ends.
43:38And the tight ends I do think about, I don't think about whether I have another one of their players.
43:45I really don't. Right. Yeah. If you had Trey McBride, you're not avoiding Jeremiah Love.
43:49No. No. If I have Loveland, I'm not avoiding...
43:52Swift. Swift or anything like that. I mean, Bowers, Jinty, sure.
43:56Put them together. Kittle, CMC, fine with it. Tyler Warren, Jonathan Taylor.
44:00Do it. Cool. Cool. I'd like that. That means I have a tight end.
44:04That's what that means. Um, Instagram question from Jordan writing in keeper question, uh, brings up Bowers again.
44:10Brock Bowers or Saquon Barkley in a full PPR?
44:13Ooh. I mean, technically Saquon goes higher in drafts, but it's close enough between the two in their draft selection and ADP
44:20that it's certainly, it's not a guarantee you can draft Bowers.
44:24You know what I mean? Like you don't have the, you don't have the option to like go around higher on him
44:31or something because he's a later round pick. I would take Bowers.
44:35So the question actually looks like a keeper question, um, where it's a, it's a 302 for Bowers or a two or the 208 for Saquon.
44:43So they're giving up their, their second to keep Saquon or their third to keep Bowers.
44:48These are the ADPs Kyle has. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
44:51It's just keep one or the other. I was just where they're going.
44:55I would keep Bowers. I would keep Bowers. I would keep Bowers.
44:59I am somewhat in on a Saquon bounce back though.
45:03I will say that I not, not to number one or number two or something like that.
45:08But I, I do think 208 for Saquon is a deal for that team and what the identity is going to be
45:15in the offensive line and the defense. And like, there's not another option there.
45:20That's going to, I mean, unless you're into tank Bixby, which I'm not, I am.
45:25Um, I mean, I think one's going to have a player, but I don't think he gets a role.
45:31No, I, I, I, I kind of misspoke. I, I don't think that tank Bixby will eat into Saquon's role at all.
45:38I heard I know Smith tank Bixby are you guys this year?
45:42I would, I will have tank Bixby on tons of my teams.
45:46He'll be a late round target for me because he is the type where the type of insurance back where should an
45:53older running back on the team go down, you're in a great offense and you've really looked good.
45:58The last couple of years tank has looked great.
46:01All right. Uh, this question comes in from Instagram.
46:04Hey boys, what hot takes so far this off season do you find yourself agreeing with?
46:09Hmm. But I don't see any options for the hot.
46:13So, I mean, I can give you a hot take.
46:16Is it the burden? That I is mine. So I also agree with it.
46:20Is that? Yeah, sure. Like I don't, I don't know what the, the, the scorches are right now.
46:26Uh, but give us your, let's just do our own hot take.
46:30Uh, well, hot take. Do we agree with ourselves on?
46:33Uh, yeah. Ken Walker can be a top three, uh, running back this year.
46:38Oh, who's got, oh man. That was, that was very hot.
46:41Is that too spicy for three? Yes. Wow. I mean, I'm all for it.
46:46I've got him on my team. He can. Mike and I are, we're historically big Ken Walker.
46:52Yeah. He and I were exactly the same on that.
46:55And if you check the tape, you will obviously, you'll hear Mike saying it a lot, but I'm in the background.
47:02You can, if you listen real close, he was, he's nodding.
47:05He was typing to Mike. Keep going. Keep going.
47:08Yeah. Great takes on Ken bone walk. I mean, my hot take of the off season is that Malik will is it's going to matter a lot.
47:17I mean that I've been saying that since before he was signed.
47:21So I think that that's one that I believe in.
47:24Do I like being associated with it? Not really.
47:27Oh, it's for Finn. You're where you go astray is, is the, like you, you have a very strong conviction as the
47:34dolphins do financially, the, of my Malik Willis being good for the NFL, for the actual Miami dolphins, not just fantasy.
47:41Just good enough to start regularly and run the ball around.
47:44And he, he could, I mean, the couple starts, he looked better than some of the quarterbacks who have contracts.
47:51I think, I think Travion takes a bigger, like a, a very large lead by the end of the year over, over Ramondre.
47:58Okay. Like to hear that. Um, speaking of Travion, Gabe writes in on Instagram, dynasty trade, Chris Olave for Travion.
48:05Would you do it in a dynasty league? Yeah, I would do it.
48:09You would rather have Travion. I have Chris Olave in our main dynasty league and I adore Chris Olave.
48:15I think he is an awesome wide receiver. He's a top 10 guy.
48:19He's young. There's nothing not to like about him other than a lot of nice stuff you said before you say, I
48:26mean, I have lived the last year and a half terrified that this guy could be deleted from my roster at any minute with the concussion history.
48:35I know he got through this last year. Great.
48:38Now he's got the blood clot. I just feel like he is awesome on the field.
48:43I'm very skeptical and worried about it. So if I could get out for something that I love.
48:49So would you trade Garrett Wilson for Travion? I would.
48:52I taking the injury thing away. Those guys are back to back in dynasty startups.
48:57Uh, so Olave goes ahead of Garrett Wilson and a dynasty startup in PPR.
49:02So would you trade Garrett Wilson for Travion? Cause see this, this question to me is just, do you need a running back?
49:09Do you need a wide receiver? Sure. It's not enough of a, like Pep McMillan, I would not trade for Travion.
49:16You know, like you're in a tier of wide receiver.
49:19That's too high. Yeah. But would you trade Garrett Wilson?
49:22Uh, I, I think that that is more difficult.
49:25Um, Carnell Tate. No, I would rather have Lad McConkey.
49:28I would trade Lad for Travo. Jordan Tyson. I want it.
49:32I want Jordan Tyson. I mean, if anything goes wrong with Chris Olave, Jordan Tyson's to the moon.
49:38Mike, uh, Instagram question from Evan. Wait, wait, wait.
49:41What would you guys do? Would you guys trade Chris Olave for him?
49:45Oh, dang. You thought you were getting away with this.
49:48No, I don't think I would trade. Of course, I'm just being quiet over here.
49:53I mean, I did answer. I said it'd be, it'd be position specific for me.
49:58Yeah. Like if I need a running back, I'm totally, I'm, it's an acceptable trade.
50:03Who would you, okay. But with, if I'm drafting one.
50:06Yes. If you're drafting Olave. Okay. Mike. Yeah. If I'm drafting, I take Olave.
50:10He's just 26. I mean, dude, I, I am hopeful that you guys are right.
50:15I need, I need him and I love him.
50:18Stay healthy. Evan says, keep trade cut. Cam Scadaboo.
50:21Quinch on Judkins. Bay shawl tootin. There. You can't get me to cut cam Scadaboo.
50:26If you, if you put CMC B, John and cam, I'm keeping cam.
50:30That was only, that was almost my hot take is cam.
50:34Cam Scadaboo is number one. He's, yeah. He's going to take the league by storm.
50:39Um, but he is my key. I'll probably cut.
50:41Between Scadaboo and tootin is very tough. Between Scadaboo and tootin.
50:45Yeah. I'll keep, I'll keep cam Scadaboo. I'll trade Quinch on and I'll, I'll cut.
50:50Bay shawl. I think I'm keeping Scadaboo. Yeah. I'll, I'll cut Quinch on.
50:54I, I really like him, but the, the team makeup scares me.
50:58Matt wants to know from Instagram, uh, how can I convince my dynasty league to finally get rid of kickers?
51:04Well, I mean, we always go back to, and we'll have answers, but we'll go back to the well of ask them
51:12how much they enjoy slash spend time building their, you know, kicker list and analysis on a regular basis or whether they
51:19just, you know, pick one that's there by ADP at the very end of the draft because why not?
51:25And then go and show them how many kickers like outscored important tight ends last year.
51:30Cause it's going to be a lot of them and be like, this shouldn't happen.
51:35And then bring it up to a vote every single year.
51:38I mean, let me ask you this. Yeah. You're in a dynasty league.
51:43You have Brandon Aubrey. I would never vote against removing kickers.
51:46He's there to stay. Kickers are important. Here's the important fantasy is that they're kickers are in the real NFL.
51:53Mike, if I've got Brandon, Audrey, I'm in who?
51:55Brandon, Audrey Hepburn. The, the funny thing about kickers is like, I used to try to make arguments to keep them around,
52:03but the arguments all defeat themselves because if you keep them around and you score them too severely, then the randomness of the kicker position ruins your league.
52:12And if you take the alternate approach, cause you just want to have them there and you're like barely count their points,
52:19then they're really meaningless, which you should remove them.
52:22So I don't, I don't see a scenario where like, you know, you could be like, Oh, I feel go made as one.
52:29Also. Um, one of the things that's helpful in a lot of leagues is the, the addition of adding another flex spot.
52:36So you can make it a, instead of a kicker, I think we should have one more flex spot.
52:42It'll, you know, give, give it's depending on how many you have.
52:46We did that when we got rid of our kicker in our league and, and just gives a little bit more to play with.
52:54Don't worry. If you have kickers in your league, we put out kicker rankings.
52:59We do that for you, but it's not fun.
53:01No. Um, unless you have Brandon, Audrey Hepburn website question from chase.
53:05Where are you guys at with Gunnar Helm? I think he has great sleeper potential.
53:10So is Andy. Yeah, I agree. I mean, I liked Gunnar Helm last year.
53:15He made some plays down the stretch. They got rid of Chigakonkwo.
53:19I liked them as a sleeper. This is the Titans tight end.
53:22Yeah. He actually had a rookie last year. Yeah.
53:25He had a few top 10 weeks last year.
53:28Um, the snap count will be high this year.
53:31Yeah. He'll be their guy. He'll be on the field and he'll make plays.
53:36I don't think that he can be, we talked at the beginning, you know, the, the additions of Wandale Robinson and Carnell Tate.
53:43I mean, I think that's a great, yes, you lost Chig, but the targets are going to go to those two guys.
53:50He also, Oconquo, aside from a couple of spike weeks here, there was, he never came through for the Titans.
53:57When you're looking at this level of a tight end, I have to be able to see a path that they, they
54:04just end up as the number two target. Like last go Schultz.
54:08Like you can't Schultz it up. Schultz was the number two target.
54:12Wasn't he for, I mean, Schultz, I don't know if he was considered that or not, but it was like, like Christian Kirk probably like last year.
54:20Uh, uh, liking Juwan Johnson from the saints because it's like, they have a lobby and who else do they have?
54:27Uh, but the fact that you have two, you have a top five pick and a free agent wide receiver that you
54:34gave a bunch of money to like, they're locked in their target share is very safe.
54:39And then why you probably wouldn't be in on Britain strange this year.
54:44Just, but I, Brenton strange is, is a little bit different as the, the offense projects to be high powered.
54:50So he will, he, I don't think he'll be anything consistent, but his spike weeks though.
54:55I think there'll be more just because of the amount of touchdowns to go around.
55:00And yes, Dalton Schultz was the number two. Okay, there you go.
55:04But the, the, the Dalton Schultz stuff is also confusing of, you know, like it's real noisy last year of the, the success that, uh, uh, Jaden Higgins.
55:13No, no. Uh, Jalen Davis, Davis Mills had with the team.
55:17All righty. Um, that guy from someplace writes in on Instagram.
55:20Last question for us. Favorite turn position to draft from the first pick or the 12th pick?
55:26I'll go. I like, I like the one. Yeah.
55:29I'm going to, I'm going to take the best player.
55:32I'll take the one. If I have to go on a turn, I am, I'd rather have Bijan or Jameer.
55:38Yeah. I like the guys at the two, three turn.
55:42Uh, at being in the one. Yeah. If you're at the one spot and yeah, I like that.
55:47Uh, I think that's going to do it for today's episode.
55:51Everybody. Thank you for sending in your questions. Hopefully some of those answers were helpful.
