0:48Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
0:53Welcome in. That was a little loud for me too, Mike.
0:57I liked it. It's a mock draft day. So just break their speakers.
1:01Take it up a notch. Tuesday, June 30th. Mock draft episode.
1:05Andy, Mike and Jason, the fantasy footballers with you.
1:08Al Borland, Papa Josh and the Falcon also back there.
1:11And yeah, we got a mock draft today. It'll be fun.
1:15We've got a full crew of staff and writers helping us out on the mock draft.
1:20So it'll be all real people. And we'll see where we're at here at the end of June.
1:26I'm sure our teams will look fantastic or bad.
1:29Is this an eight, eight, uh, no team league.
1:32No, it's a 12 team. All right. But, um, we'll get into that ultimate draft kit.com.
1:37If you want to check that out, all of our sleepers, breakouts, bus values, player projections, uh, uh, stat projections for every
1:44single player in the entire fantasy football world. 130,000 words of original content written by human beings.
1:50Uh, if that's what you call Kyle and bets and the rest of this crew.
1:54Uh, but no, it is, uh, it's the number one resource for getting ready for draft day.
2:00That's what this mock drafts about today as well.
2:03And, uh, you can find us over on X at the FF ballers.
2:07If you want to follow us there, Jason's at Jason Moore.
2:11I'm at Andy Holloway. Mike is that FF hit man.
2:14Yep. Still no at Mike. No, your name is the problem.
2:18Yeah. It's too. I remind, I remind my parents.
2:21They shouldn't have called you Mike. Yeah. It's like boring.
2:24No, you should have been like. Mikel. That's better.
2:27Yeah. You, you like that more. It's, I mean, it's, it's got a little more flay or flay flavor flavor.
2:33Flavor. I don't know. Quick question of the day from Eli.
2:37Who's a player that you won't target at your draft, but you'll try to trade for later on mine.
2:43I'll start. Cause mine's sad because we haven't really talked.
2:46I think a ton about the new England Patriots running back situation.
2:50Uh, I've, I've talked about Henderson on dynasty on the dynasty podcast of just, um, I am a little concerned and the
2:57draft community is not of Travion Henderson is going in the middle of the fourth on sleeper.
3:03You had his breakout. It was awesome. It was our hopes and dreams felt like they were being fulfilled for a couple of games.
3:11And then Ramond Ray came back and they were like, yeah, we like Ramond Ray Stevenson a whole lot.
3:17So the, the disparity. Oh, this is acceptance from you.
3:20Yes. It is. It is like, you know, cause when it's a rookie and it's like, I, I think Henderson is just
3:27so much better than Ramond Ray Stevenson. And well, thank you, Jason.
3:31Thank you. That's stuff for sure. It is. Unfortunately, it becomes this thing where it's like, you have to disparage Ramond Ray.
3:39That's it. Yeah. And it's the poor guys. You don't like he was good.
3:43Ramond Ray, like Ramond Ray had a very good year and he's still going to be super involved and the ADP market
3:50difference between Hendo and Ramond Ray for a timeshare that could see Ramond Ray as the leader.
3:56If, if, if nothing else, it's just a timeshare and Ramond Ray could, could soak up a bunch of the touchdowns.
4:03I just in the fourth round, plus the first three games, at least compared to last year's strength of schedule, it's tougher.
4:10Like it, it's a tough three games for the running back position for fantasy scoring.
4:15So I like Henderson's really not on my draft board where he is at ADP.
4:20If I, you know, hopefully I'm wrong. Hopefully they, they end up unleashing Henderson with some volume in those first three games.
4:27But even with the volume, it might be harder for him to get going.
4:31Yeah. I don't think you're going to be able to trade for him.
4:36I'm, I'm on the Henderson side. I, I believe that he overtakes Ramond Ray this year now that he's not a rookie
4:43and, and, um, they need more out. They're going to be playing tougher teams.
4:47They're not just going to be winning every game all the time.
4:51And I, I think that they're going to need Henderson on the field.
4:55So I expect them to get off to a hot start.
4:59I've got a similar pick in mind. The guy that I feel like, I don't with Hendo's ADP.
5:05I am fine with it because I actually think he's going to succeed.
5:09He's going to get, you know, 60% of the work out the gate.
5:13They've, uh, the drum beat has not been that direction.
5:17No. Over this offseason. We still have plenty of time for it to change.
5:21I always debate these situations because they're just not, they're not the same player at all.
5:26There's very different players. So it's like when, when it's like, ah, he's going to replace Ramond Ray.
5:32I'm like, how do you do that? You could get more work than you got last year.
5:38That's fine. But like, but like this, the, the team in no way, shape or form looks at this as like, well,
5:45there's one, it's one guy's job right now. And then somebody else could take that job.
5:50It's just like, it's two guys job right now.
5:53Yeah. And it will continue to be two guys job.
5:56The, the, the trajectory I see is identical. We've said, we said this before, but it's, it's the lions.
6:03It's the Gibbs and David Montgomery. You know, I love David Montgomery.
6:07I think Ramond Ray Stevenson is a good player, but eventually if one guy is able to have more explosive plays, you
6:14just have to get them a little bit more work, a little bit more work.
6:19We saw that year two of Gibbs. We saw that year three of Gibbs.
6:23It's just like, eventually you get to this point where it's like, eh, he's, he's gotta be on the field.
6:30That, that could happen. And you, you brought it up.
6:33Like we had a question, I think on the footcast about if we had to choose sleepers, breakouts, busts and values of teams in the NFL.
6:41And one of the bust names that came up was this, you know, was new England.
6:47Like, do you have it? Superbowl losers. They have a hard time getting back.
6:51They had a great schedule last year. Sometimes it was held against them, but they, they executed within what they were given and they dominated.
6:59The opening schedule just to expand on it for the Patriots on the road against Seattle at home against Pittsburgh.
7:06Okay. Road, Jacksonville road, Buffalo. Like that's a tough start.
7:09So that's where you could, yeah. You could see trading for him.
7:13Jason and I both have picks that are rookies.
7:16Yeah. I mean, it's pretty common for rookies to get off to a slow start, but I've got Jeremiah Love.
7:23We talked about him on last episode as you know, whether his ADP was too hot to handle.
7:28We talked about, he's probably going to finish the year as a, as a running back one, but I think the process
7:36is going to be very aggravating in the beginning.
7:39I think he will feel like a bus to pick those first couple of weeks.
7:43I don't expect him to get the lion's share.
7:46I don't expect him to get the, the goal line.
7:50And, and basically if you're going to pick someone that's like, I think I'll be able to trade for them.
7:56Cause obviously whoever drafts Jeremiah Love, they are going to think I'm in it for the long haul.
8:02Same with Henderson. It's gotta be really bad. It's got to start where you're like, I made a mistake.
8:08And I think that could happen with Jeremiah Love where you come out the gates and week one, he gets 10 touches
8:15and you're like, Oh no, what did I do with this?
8:19You know, early pick. I do fully expect by the end of the year for Jeremiah Love to be dominant.
8:26So if you could trade for him a month into the season because expectations have been low or something like that, but
8:33we, we discussed him more in detail. You know, if you want to go back to Thursday's episode, the name I brought
8:40up a player, you won't target in the draft, but you might trade for later on.
8:45John is Jordan Tyson, a wide receiver for the saints for a myriad of reasons.
8:50I mean, one, I just feel like there's a lot of question marks in new Orleans in general.
8:56I'm not as convinced as Mike is. And I don't know if Jason's in that camp that shock will work out to
9:03the degree that would support two wide receivers this year.
9:06I hope he does. I like the player. I'm not positive.
9:10I'm not positive that Jordan Tyson is healthy. Um, I'm not positive that Chris Olave is going to be healthy, but if
9:17he is, and he's out there and he's the one, can Jordan Tyson be a nice guy?
9:23If he is enough on the other side, maybe.
9:26So there's a lot of maybes here. And then rookie wide receivers also take some time, um, to get going as well.
9:33So I feel like if I see some signs at the beginning of the season, especially like they start against a couple of really difficult opponents.
9:41I mean, talk about Tyler shock. You're probably, you're probably not looking good after two weeks.
9:46It sucks. Did Detroit Baltimore to start on the road in both seven point underdogs in both.
9:52Then it gets easier, but I just feel like Tyson's definitely not somebody I'm looking to take in drafts.
9:58I do like taking rookie wide receivers late if they fall to me and they're at a value, but I'm not targeting Tyson in particular.
10:06Yeah. I think that's fair. I, I, two other names just to throw out.
10:11We, we discussed them recently, but the, the tight ends coming off of injuries, the, the Kittle and, and craft is it's going to be harder though.
10:20It is because everyone's going to be in on that strat.
10:23Sure. But I mean, trade for, or maybe even pick off off of waivers.
10:28There's a, there's a world that exists where if they get off to a really bad start, you just, you can't keep those guys in your starting lineup.
10:37If it looks like they're not great. But if that happens and they are either on the trade, you know, they're, they're,
10:44you know, on the trade board or they're hitting waivers.
10:47I will pick them up. I expect both to have good second half of the year, good second halves of the year.
10:55Close enough. Yeah. We'll just go with it. Um, yeah, both of those guys I think are going to get, we're going to get steamed up.
11:03We're going to get excited. Yeah. They'll get, because what they represent, I think they'll be drafted.
11:09And if they're drafted, they'll be drafted by people that want to hold onto them and play them when they get better.
11:16So maybe home leagues. Um, I think we're going to take a quick break now.
11:21So we're under uninterrupted in our mock draft for a while.
11:24So, uh, we'll do that and jump right in.

12:19That's your DSW store or DSW.com today. And let us surprise you.
12:23Let's do it. The fantasy footballers mock draft. Okay, here we go.
12:27Uh, we're doing a 12 team half PPR with three starting wide receivers today.
12:32So the roster will be a quarterback, two running backs, three wides, one tight end, one flex, four bench spots.
12:38Uh, we have the three of us. Jason's at five in the draft.
12:42Mike is at seven. I'm at 11. These were randomly assigned.
12:46We also have Julia, Kyle, Matt, Jeremy, Brittany, Kurt, Brooks, Betts, and Josh drafting with us today.
12:52And, uh, we'll jump right in because, you know, the three wide strategy as we get this thing kicked off.
12:58Jamar Chase ends up going number one, followed by Jameer Gibbs, Puka Nakua, and Bijan Robinson.
13:03So we go wide receiver running back, back and forth.
13:07Jason is the first of the three of us on the clock here.
13:11Uh, it is three wide. What, what are your considerations at the moment in a three wide?
13:16I'm, if you're at the five, six spot, you're, you've got the opportunity to take one of these guys, Amon, raw, uh,
13:24CD lamb, or the, the pick that will be for most people.
13:28Uh, JSN last year's, you know, number one wide receiver.
13:31I'll, I'll take, uh, JSN here getting a stud in a guaranteed three wide.
13:35This is, this is one of those formats where if you're playing three wide plus a flex, we talked about this on a recent episode.
13:43The statistics just say you need a lot more wide receivers on your roster.
13:48Once you get to the flex. However, in some of those leagues, when you start that heavy, you're, you're still going to
13:55have to have depth at running back. So we'll see how it plays out.
14:00JSN to JSN at number five. Overall, Amon Ross St.
14:03Brown goes at six. Mike is on the board.
14:06This is, uh, are you already in a tough situation here?
14:10I, I, I was hoping that, that Amon raw would drop.
14:13So, cause at the running back, it's, it's Taylor McCaffrey cook.
14:17Uh, are they strong and secure enough when I need the, the wide receiver position?
14:22I'm going to, I'm going to take CD lamb.
14:25I'm going to try my build out here. Uh, I just, I feel like where I am at the, in the draft,
14:32if I take the running back, I'm going to, you'll be a tear down at wide receiver.
14:37I'm going to unhappy with, but well, that's why you mock draft.
14:41Cause we'll find out. Yeah. I'm actually kind of excited to be at one 11.
14:46I haven't drafted this late in any of our mocks yet.
14:50Uh, I assuming, you know, I get a quick turn.
14:53If I want to split this and give myself flexibility going into the third and fourth round, I can do that.
15:00Jonathan Taylor still on the board. Devon H and still on the board.
15:04Um, at, in terms of the wide receiver tears, I see a tear break there.
15:09I mean, AJ Brown, I love, I think he belongs at the tippy top of these drafts, but then I see it,
15:16you know, him and Drake London are kind of the end of that tier.
15:21Maybe Nico Collins is in it, but beyond that, the names are just a step down to me.
15:27So I am going to pull the trigger. I'm happy with Taylor.
15:30I'm happy with happy with H and I'm happy with James cook.
15:34I'm going to get one of those guys. I'm going to get one of those guys.
15:40I'm actually going to do this though. I'm going to, I'm going to pull the trigger on AJ Brown in the first,
15:47uh, to me, he is just going to be a target monster there.
15:51And I'm hoping to acquire him in every league I can before everyone catches up to how good it's going to be.
15:58Uh, so I completely agree with you. Yeah. I think it's going to be great.
16:03It may not be more than a year, but I think it's going to be great this year.
16:09Drake London and Jonathan Taylor go next, which is great.
16:12I mean, I think being at 12 there and getting London and Taylor is perfect.
16:17Um, are we half PPR? Yes, man. I do love Devon.
16:21A Chan. James cook has been a machine. He's he's, this is a player versus team situation decision.
16:27I'm going to take James cook. Um, I saw some offensive line ratings this morning and, uh, you know, Devon, a Chan chase Brown.
16:34Those guys are dealing with bottom five offensive lines.
16:37So I will, I will take the offense that has run through James cook for a number of years and go James
16:44cook to pair with, uh, AJ Brown. So I'll just stay in the, uh, AFC East.
16:50Well, Marty and Hampton goes next. In fact, we have not seen a Chan off the board yet.
16:56Oh man. Hampton at two Oh three Devante Smith at two Oh four.
17:00And then Ashton Jente goes at two Oh five.
17:03So Kurt taking two running backs, same thing bets did.
17:06Um, scooping up value. I think is the perspective there when you are in a three wide and some wide receivers are going earlier.
17:14They're grabbing what they think are tear breaks at running back.
17:17But Mike, you're on the clock. You have to stare down the two names I just said, which is funny.
17:24Devon, a Chan and Chase Brown, who you believe in Chase Brown a ton, uh, a Chan Chase Brown, Kenneth Walker, all being there.
17:32Oh man. How does a man choose the real?
17:35I don't know choice here is Sophia. Yeah. Cause we're adding a third name in here.
17:40Uh, and at the wide receiver position, Nico's there.
17:43Olave. Go George. Just go full D gaff and just get the Dallas Cowboys.
17:47Um, I will snipe deck from you. We get to where it's going.
17:52I will not let you get down. Third round deck.
17:55There are players that like Mike actively hates other people drafting because he didn't get to draft them.
18:01Yeah, that is. And they're all sitting right here.
18:04That is true. The H and being there is really, I mean, that is a wrench in the, that is like such
18:11the easy pick for me if I'm in your situation.
18:14Yeah. Yeah. But I feel like you feel like you're betraying Chase Brown somehow by doing, I do also feel like that,
18:21but I'm going to take a Chan. I mean, that is a great start.
18:26Lamb and a Chan. Chase Brown does go next.
18:29Yes. I was the full Brown team for, uh, Oh, I'm on Ross.
18:33I'm on Ryan Chase Brown. Chase Brown. I was very much wanting one of those two guys.
18:39I think there's a huge tear break here. I know Mike, you might disagree.
18:43You might put Kenneth Walker in that tier. I don't have Kenneth Walker as bullishly as a running back one.
18:50So there's a tear break here to the rest of my running backs.
18:54And I feel like there's one wide receiver left in his own tier in Nico Collins.
18:59So I'm going to actually take Nico and we'll start this without a running back in the first two rounds.
19:06Something I don't usually enjoy doing, but in a three wide receiver league, we'll see how that, we'll see how that pans out at the end.
19:14All right. So Jason goes with Nico with JSN, putting Al Borland back on the clock where Pickens finally goes.
19:21Mike can shed a tear. Yeah, that's all right.
19:24But, um, here in the second round, Kyle, Kyle went Ken Walker high T yeah, three wide receivers.
19:30Three teams went to running backs. I mean, I don't, I don't mind that at all.
19:35I running backs. Oh, like the, the, the numbers we brought up the other day can be discussed in various ways to me.
19:42You get 30, you know, you have, I think we were saying, you know, 96 wide receivers on the field for the
19:49majority of the time you get 32 running backs on the field.
19:53To me, it's like, it is much, much, much easier to find wide receivers that give you value.
19:59It's much, much harder to find running backs to give you value later in the draft.
20:04So I don't mind loading up on that. Pickens goes then Bowers, Ken Walker and Derek Henry.
20:10I thought Jason was going to take Derek Henry.
20:13Honestly, that's what I thought was going to happen.
20:16So through two rounds, I've got Amon Ross St.
20:19Brown and James Cook, Mike with CD lamb and HN Jason with Jason and Nico third round starts with Tette McMillan at
20:26the three Oh one T Higgins, Jeremiah love and Chris Olave go next putting Jason back on the clock.
20:32Um, this is a pretty easy situation for me.
20:35Now that I started wide receiver, wide receiver have two studs there.
20:39I feel like there's two running backs that I really love that are on the board.
20:44So it's just a matter of no, their names is Josh Jacobs and Kyron Williams.
20:49Uh, both of those guys are great. They score a ton of fantasy points.
20:54They're goal line backs. They, uh, catch the ball.
20:57They're on good offenses. I'm going to take Josh Jacobs.
21:00There's obviously the question marks about his legal stuff.
21:03If that doesn't exist. And, and from my understanding, what I've researched, I am not genuinely fearful of it.
21:09I don't think there's going to be any suspension coming.
21:12If we knew for sure that there was no suspension coming, Josh Jacobs is just, I mean, he is pretty much guaranteed
21:19to be a top 10 back assuming health. And, uh, to get that in the third round after two stud wide receivers, I'll take that gamble.
21:28All right, Mike, you're on the clock. So Kyron went right after.
21:32I mean, let's just, Hey, let's keep the legal troubles going guys.
21:36Good stuff. Uh, I'm going to take where she rice.
21:39I was before when HN agent messed up the plan.
21:42Like I was going to take rice right in the second round.
21:46Cause I think that his situation is also like the NFL is just going to let it go.
21:52Let it keep playing out. And it's he, look, it's disgusting.
21:56Come on bets. You had two running backs. So lamb, HN rice is a, I'm very happy with that.
22:02All right. So here's the play by play and I'm going to write his name down on a list.
22:08See if we could take a paycheck away or something.
22:11Uh, Rashi rice, Malik neighbors, Javante Williams, and then bats is on the clock before me and he's got Barkley and Hampton.
22:18So to me, it's like needs a wide receiver.
22:21He's just going for wide receiver. And I'm, I'm watching McBride drop almost, you know, what?
22:27Almost a full round behind Brock Bowers. I'm thinking that's a great value.
22:31I've got the quick turn and he took McBride.
22:34He took my bride. He took my, he took my bride.
22:37Yes. Um, all right. Running back options that I have.
22:41Brees Hall sitting there. I do like Brees is just a solidifier for an offense, but I don't.
22:46The names he's mixed up with Travis H in in New Orleans, Cam Scadaboo.
22:51I like that wide receiver Garrett Wilson still sitting there.
22:54Talk about the targets you're going to get between AJ Brown and Garrett Wilson.
22:59There'll be a lot of them will be wild.
23:02So to me, that is kind of like a more guaranteed better than others.
23:06Product production. Yeah. Yeah. I'll take Garrett Wilson there at the three 11 and see what comes back to me.
23:13A booker goes next to Papa Josh. And he goes right back to a doomsday.
23:18He goes double wide. There leaves me with Brees Hall.
23:21But the problem with Brees now is I've taken Garrett Wilson and I'm not a classic two, two jets.
23:27I'm not a double jet situation. You will be rostering 85% of the offense.
23:32You know what I'm going to do? Yeah. This is one of those tough situations where my I'm at 11.
23:38You wait forever. There is zero chance that I get a top tier tight end if I don't make one pick right here.
23:46That's true. And it's a little sooner than I'd like to take them, but I believe so.
23:51Colston Loveland is going to be the pick. Oh, Mr.
23:55Loveland. Because there's just no way I'm going to get him.
23:58And if you believe in somebody, sometimes you have to take them sooner if you're at the turn.
24:04So that's where I'm going to go. Betts is just he, he, Mimosa morning.
24:09I mean, Mimosa. Oh, zero wide receiver. Zero wide receiver.
24:12The classic strategy of zero. Let's find out in a three wide.
24:16Yeah. I think he wants airtime. Uh, take one Barkley, Omarion Hampton, Trey McBride and Brees all for Betsy in a three wide.
24:23I hope your wide receivers are terrible, but they probably won't be a Chan goes next and Lad McConkie.
24:30Mike, you're back on the clock. Lamb, Rashi Rice, and Devon HN is the roster.
24:34Yeah, we, uh, we got a tough one here because there is, I feel like that's what you said every time.
24:41Well, because I'm, I'm getting hit with like players.
24:44I really like, and I'm having to make the choice.
24:47And I know that the second one will not come back to me.
24:52There is the, the, the heart would like to draft Luther Burden here.
24:56I know the risk. Um, I do think Jalen Waddle is underrated.
25:00Uh, I think he's going to get a, a very, very healthy dose of targets.
25:05And then there's the player who I just will always stand for coming off of 1200 yards.
25:10And yet just is hated on this show. I will take Zay flowers.
25:15I'm glad you did. I don't hate Zay flowers.
25:17Yes, you do. I don't. We just don't think he's the wide receiver seven.
25:22He is. Neither do you. He's fine. I think he doesn't believe he's the wide receiver seven.
25:28He put up 1200 yards to be fair. I didn't say he didn't.
25:32I didn't say he put up less yards. It's Mike's third wide receiver in the fourth round.
25:37And so I, I think that's, I think, I don't mind the pick.
25:42I at all. I think Mike feels a loyalty to Zay flowers because he was part of the roster that won him a double championship last year.
25:50I feel a loyalty to number one wide receivers with great quarterbacks who just put up 1200 yards.
25:56It's fair. Jalen Waddle goes next. Jason on the clock with JSN Nico and Josh Jacobs.
26:02Yeah, there's, there's two players here that I, I really, really want.
26:05It's tough to make that decision, but I think the way that running backs thin out while there are still some good running backs on the board.
26:14I got to take one. I love cam Scadaboo.
26:17Um, I'm going to take him really hear him.
26:20He did it. The boo hard. Um, he's got a boo.
26:24So, uh, so yeah, JSN and Nico at wide receiver, Josh Jacobs and cam Scadaboo.
26:29I am happy with the start. Well, Tyler Warren goes next.
26:32So I'll takes the shot on him. Top four tight end.
26:36Now, Jason, you shook your head. Was that dissatisfaction with one?
26:39No, no. I think that's a great pick in the fourth round to get one of those top four tight ends.
26:46All right. To round out the fourth Luther burden, Mike Evans, Quinshawn Judkins.
26:50We'll jump into the fifth after this. Ever notice how life's best stories don't happen in your living room.

27:51All right, back into our three wide receiver 12 team mock draft with the three of us and the rest of the
27:58staff and writers here at the fantasy footballers. I'm drafting from the 11 spot, Mike from the seven spot, Jason from the five spot.
28:06And we're into round five. Jason has JSN, Nico Collins, Jacobs and Scadaboo.
28:10Mike has lamb, A-Chan Rice and Flowers. I'm with A.J.
28:14Brown, James Cook, Garrett Wilson and Colson Loveland. And the fifth starts with Jamison Williams, Carnell Tate, who I was targeting for the end of this round.
28:22Thank you very much, Kyle. Travion Henderson and Bucky Irving going next.
28:26Jason, you are on the clock. Of note, no quarterback.
28:30Oh, no, this is this is the spot. I said earlier there were two players I really, really wanted and I didn't
28:37name the other player because know your league. And I thought there was a chance you would come.
28:43Know your league and know that if you say the name while everyone is listening to you, they might draft them.
28:49But my point is, I think that Josh Allen is usually around pick 24.
28:54He is at the two, three turn. We're in the fifth round and Josh Allen hasn't been taken.
29:00He's been a great pick for about five years in a row, no matter where he is, no matter how much he costs.
29:07You make the playoffs if you've got Josh Allen.
29:10Having him in the fifth round is delightful. I will do that.
29:14Oh, Brittany, if he's ever there in the fifth round, take Josh Allen.
29:19Jason went with Josh Allen. Christian Watson goes next.
29:21So Mike doesn't get him. My sweet, sweet, precious Mr.
29:25Watson. I feel like you ended up in great shape with the Nico pick, Jason, because Jacobs and Scadaboo are both.
29:32Yeah. I mean, obviously, Scadaboo has to be start worthy from the jump, and I think he will be.
29:38But I think it's worked out really well for you to be able to steal Josh Allen in the fifth, who was
29:45certainly any of us in the fifth. We're going to think about that.
29:49But you end up getting him with, you know, like he went three picks after Carnell Tate.
29:55Right. It is three wide. Mike, you're on the clock.
29:58So Watson would have been. I think I know your pick.
30:02I want to write it down. Uh, OK. I'm going to write it down because it's it's a pick.
30:08I think Watson was very much going to be in contention here.
30:12I'd not that I. I mean, I have my three starting wide receivers.
30:16We still have the flex. Uh, so I'm actually going to go.
30:20Go look at the running back position. There's two players.
30:23Do you have them both? And do you know both of they are?
30:27I know them both of the players you're considering.
30:30I do too. But I've I've wrote down. We have to say them out loud for our audience.
30:36OK, well, I will just I'm going to take the one of the two because I can't take both.
30:42Yeah, I think you guys are going to have it just slightly backwards.
30:47We did. I did. I did too. Yeah, he wrote fart down on.
30:51Well, it's a tootin. Um, it was it was between Basial tootin and Deandre.
30:55I want you to just realize you just drafted Deandre Swift.
30:59Yes. Over a player that you think has breakout potential and that you've been pretty bullish on.
31:04And you took Deandre Swift. I kind of understand it from the side of I second running back.
31:10I know guaranteed production that Swift is the leader of the timeshare, at least in my belief.
31:16Sure. Where I do. I firmly believe that Basial tootin is the guy, but we still have training camp and months of summer to really find that out.
31:25So I'm the building the squad on this date in June.
31:29I'm going to take the starter for the Chicago Bears.
31:32Well, uh, you know, Kyle said, I thought I knew who Mike was.
31:36Yeah, no, this is a testimony to changing your opinion if you need to had to.
31:41Yeah. Um, most of the guys I really wanted to drop in this room have been drafted.
31:47Uh, Mike went with Swift followed by tootin who I might've pulled the trigger on and then McLaurin and Devonta Adams go next.
31:54I don't like, I mean, the running back position has thinned tremendously.
31:58And there's one guy that I think is going to be good for 300 opportunities.
32:03And we've talked about him recently. So I'm going to pull the trigger on the running back before a wide receiver here.
32:10And I'm going to take them opportunity. David Montgomery in the late fifth as a starter of a playoff team.
32:17Uh, it's not sexy. He was highest on my board, but I mean, I'm looking at this and it's like Javante Williams went at 309.
32:25Okay. Two rounds and two picks later, you get Devon, uh, David Montgomery.
32:29How, how certain are you that Javante has a better, better season than David Montgomery?
32:34Uh, not very certain. Very. You, you are very certain.
32:37I think if you look at the Texans offense versus the Cowboys.
32:41That really ruined my setup there. Versus the Cowboys offense.
32:45You would expect the Cowboys to have a lot more scoring opportunities.
32:49You would. Um, David Montgomery, J K Dobbins goes at five 12.
32:52I'm just happy that someone took him away from Mike.
32:56Yeah. I mean, that's early for you, Josh. Um, and then he took Drake.
33:00Drake may goes second quarterback. It's fine. I mean, so I'm sitting here.
33:05Yeah, it is to me. Yeah. I mean, he is, he's, uh, okay.
33:09I know it's not what you, you have him at like QB 14.
33:13Jason, we know you don't like a return to the beginning of the off season.
33:18No, no, no. Drake may is like my quarterback for, uh, he is my quarterback for, uh, but I still taking him
33:25over Lamar and taking him over, you know, last years, last years QB three is okay to be taken at QB two in the sixth.
33:33It's fine. All right. I'm back on the clock, quick turnaround, and then a long wait, which is not my favorite.
33:40I'm not going to take another onesie here. So I'm really staring down the wide receiver position for upside and opportunity.
33:47Um, I'm going to take a guy I truly believe will be a certifiable number one here.
33:52And there's no way he's coming all the way back to me.
33:56I'm taking Alec Pierce in the sixth round. I'm taking him ahead of Brian Thomas, taking him ahead of DJ Moore and Metcalf.
34:04And, uh, I'm securing a player. I think it'll be a difference maker.
34:08So Jordan Tyson does go next to Betsy who begins to put together his wide receiver room with Devante Adams and Jordan Tyson.
34:16So I don't know how you feel about that yet, but, um, it has, it still has upside.
34:21His average, the average age of his wide receivers are in their prime.
34:26That is true. That is true. His average age is prime.
34:29Is prime. Uh, Jadarian Price and DJ Moore go next.
34:33Kurt taking DJ Moore. Mike, you're on the clock.
34:36Fresh off of a DeAndre Swift selection. Yes. And we will cleanse the pallets to a player I'd love, even if there
34:43are the question marks, but I've said, I just, I'm throwing those into the wind.
34:48I'm taking Tucker. Correct. I'll tell you, I have him ranked aggressively.
34:51I think he's going to be good to go.
34:54Yes. Probably better in the second half, but I, I, I think you're going to be okay for those first few weeks, even while he's getting acclimated.
35:03Yeah. Am I the only one that doesn't worry about acclimation for either of those guys?
35:08What do you mean? No, no. 0% of me cares about acclimation for Tucker craft and George Kittle.
35:14I drafted him in the sixth round. No, there's, there's plenty of people.
35:19Even if he starts off slow, I just don't believe, I think if they're on the field in week one, they will be themselves for a week one.
35:28Both of those guys. Yeah. I mean, statistically speaking, like performance off of ACLs, there's a timeline where they're on the field
35:35and they're not at pre ACL injury performance, just statistically for that's not to say every human being is the same.
35:42And obviously this is a dog, but that, that is a normal go ask AP about it.
35:47Sure. Yes. Generational, you know, hall of famer. Yeah.
35:50I just, I, from, from the timeline and how long, uh, yeah, we'll see.
35:55Yeah. Brian Thomas goes next. Mike, you're Jason. You're back on the clock after the Josh Allen pick.
36:01I'm going to continue to stand for a player that we don't like at all.
36:06And by we, I mean us and the entire world at this point.
36:10Wait, we don't like them. And you are going to stand for a player.
36:14Yeah. You don't like. I definitely think that are you, are you in the group that you're talking about?
36:21No, it doesn't like it. It's me against the world.
36:24I think Marvin Harrison jr. Is the clear number one wide receiver target for the Cardinals.
36:29I don't, I mean, that's just how I believe the future will play out.
36:34So I'm going to take him here as my third wide receiver.
36:37Okay. That means he's starting. That means he's starting for you.
36:41There's the quarterbacks. Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow and Jaden Daniels all go in sequential order here.
36:46Makes sense. Panic in the streets. Parker Washington, Ramondre Stevenson.
36:50I don't even think that's panic. I think that's full.
36:53It's just taking the value. Um, yeah, just not confident.
36:56They'll roll back through to the next pick here.
36:59No, they would not. Ramondre Warren and Hubbard reveal the running back tier.
37:03We are now in. Yeah. The, the running backs are thin.
37:07That's why I took the, I grabbed Montgomery when I did because it went from Montgomery to Dobbins.
37:13Yeah, for sure. Um, I, I still am pretty happy with my Jacobson Scadaboo as my one, two, and then it's, it's going to be thin.
37:21I want more wide receivers for depth for flex in a three wide receiver.
37:26Um, you still need a wide receiver three too.
37:29No, I've got three wide receivers. So you need a third, ah, the Marv joke.
37:34Well, I will go ahead and put in, I'm going to, I'm going to grab a player a little ahead of ADP, but someone who's just being drafted.
37:43So ridiculously low for a great offense guaranteed on the field has been pretty good in his career.
37:49High draft capital coming in. Quentin Johnston is man.
37:52Quentin Johnston is going to be, uh, you know, I think he's a top 24 wide receiver this year.
37:58Him and lad to me are not that like I, I don't, I'm with you.
38:03I don't look at their outcome and their outlook this year as, as that drastically different.
38:08But if you look at where they're drafted, it's, it's like, it's like a wide receiver one and a wide receiver four on the same team.
38:16Whereas we know that Quentin Johnston and two wide receiver sets is going to be on the field.
38:22And we're not even sure if lad is Jalen hurts sixth wider or six quarterback off the board at seven Oh six between your two picks.
38:31Quentin Johnston and Marvin Harrison. What a combo. You thank you.
38:34I know when I just made it from a sentiment perspective.
38:38No, absolutely incredible. Uh, Mike, you're on the clock.
38:41You just took craft. You have two running backs, three wide one onesie.
38:45This is where I run into some difficulty of like my highest ranked players for my personal projections are like we had,
38:52we're, we're starting to really get into the ADP discrepancy where, you know, I would be reaching much lower into the ADP.
38:59I would be a top ADP of players who they could make it back.
39:04Uh, so I only have the two running backs players available on the board.
39:08My none guy is the top ADP. I don't want Swift.
39:12I am a none guy Pollard. What? What are we even doing?
39:16It's just like the worst offensive line in football.
39:19He's just there, man. Yeah. I'm very, it was the worst last year.
39:23And didn't he have a thousand rushing yards? He got it going at the end of the year.
39:29If I remember. There was nothing we really found redeemable from that season.
39:33Sure. But I mean, it is funny. The starter for an offense that could get better year two.
39:39And like I, yeah, it's the same conversation for like, just ran for a thousand 82 along with 33 receptions.
39:46You know, he was the running back 23 last year and we're, and it's like, we're talking about backups to the backups right now.
39:53And then there's just Pollard sitting there four seasons in a row.
39:57He's had a thousand rushing yards. Oh man. Oh, that talk.
40:01You know, I mean, if you're saying really good things, wait, four years, four years in a row, he's had a thousand rushing yards.
40:09What? Yeah. I know. 1007, 1005, 1079, 1082. What?
40:12Thank you. Nine touchdowns, six, five. Tony P. Yeah.
40:15Yeah. Um, the attempts dropped from two 60 to two 42 last year, but he still had over a thousand yards.
40:22So that means his yards per carry went up.
40:24Really? Mm hmm. Okay. Sure. We'll go Tony Pollard.
40:27Tony Pollard. I did. Look, honestly, it was down between him and Rico Dowdle who I don't, I'm not a hundred percent sure Rico's the starter or not.
40:37Tony Pollard will be, Oh, that's a gross one.
40:39All right. Betsy gets to try to continue and assemble his wide receiver room.
40:44He goes Adams Tyson and now Addison. So there you go.
40:48Um, I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger here on.
40:52I wanted Carnell Tate maybe in the fifth. It didn't drop to me.
40:56I do kind of regret the Loveland pick seeing the landscape.
40:59Like I would be fine with Fannin and pits here or even Kittle in the seven, three rounds later.
41:06So I kind of regret that, but I will take a, I'll take another rookie.
41:10Mekhi lemon in the seventh round. Sure. We'll see what happens there.
41:14Harold Fannin and Jonathan Brooks go next. Jonathan Brooks.
41:17Congratulations. You've been drafted. I have seen him going in.
41:21I mean, like the value of him in a dynasty league is above Hubbard.
41:25Now I, yes, it's, he has skyrocketed this off season and redraft is still a bit lower, but it's, he's, he's a wild card, man.
41:33I, I, it could really, really pay off. Oh, Matthew.
41:37So he ends up going by the way, Hubbard in this seven Oh three drawn the Brooks eight Oh one, which is wild.
41:44I took a shot on my second pick here with Jackson dart in the eighth round.
41:49I think he was the last of, well, not the last of the group, but some upside potential there.
41:55Maybe I'll pair him with somebody else later, but Godwin Aaron Jones and Jacoby Myers.
42:00Mike has Tony Pollard. Yeah. And I, I, it's just the end of my sentence.
42:05I shouted. Yeah, no, it, there's so many regrets here.
42:08Everybody. Cause, uh, Matthew Betts took Chris Godwin and I was recently talking to Kyle.
42:13Oh, sorry. I'm, I'm really enjoying the play by player here in production channel.
42:18What did we get? I want people to understand what's about to happen.
42:22Please tell me what's going on. Um, well we have reattached the, uh, I got a snake man dropped to Makai lemon.
42:29Yes. Because he is kind of like a snake.
42:32He's serpentine. But, um, but when we're doing a mock draft, um, apparently he tried to hit that drop when I drafted lemon.
42:40Cause he's a good producer. I'm talking about Al Borland, but he did it in like the wrong scene.
42:46So it's just waiting to trigger. Oh, so as soon as we get out.
42:51So when he changes the scene, you're just going to get a random.
42:55You're just going to get it out of the way.
42:58Oh, it didn't happen. Oh. Oh, so you set all that up.
43:02I was wrong. Well, then play the drop. Now.
43:05No, I can't find it. Oh my God. You were just complimenting.
43:09I got a snake man. Amazing moment. Wait, I'm really glad we aired that.
43:13Hold on. Hold on. Yeah. I'm glad I brought it up.
43:17Play that again. So the, why is the ball moving?
43:20Play it again. I got a snake man. That's, that's not your best.
43:24Why is the ball rocking back and forth? Cause the whole player is.
43:29That looked like a hot swap situation. Yeah. Um, is that the third snake player?
43:34Blake Bortles. He spent Spencer Rattler and now Makai Lemon.
43:37Yeah. Seconds working on that. Yeah. That was seconds worth of goodness, Brian.
43:41Anyways, uh, talking to Kyle about Chris Godwin. I'm so disappointed.
43:45And it feels bad. It feels gross. Oh, what a gross combo.
43:49Chris Godwin. Pollard and Godwin. Well, I can't take Godwin now.
43:52Oh, he went. Yes. No, I, my point is.
43:55Good for you. Is people are going to be mad how productive Chris Godwin is.
44:00Like the, the gap between Chris Godwin and a Buka in ADP.
44:04Not appropriate. I don't think three, 12 and eight.
44:07Oh, it's appropriate because it's, it should make sense that former first round pick now thrust into what we perceive to be the number one option.
44:15But Chris Godwin is just here to, to ruin that.
44:19So when he returned last year, Godwin had, this is his receptions, two, three, five, four, five, seven and one.
44:25How did a Buka do in that time? We don't talk about the, okay.
44:30We don't talk about the second half. That's the points is another year.
44:34It was worse than that. But I, that whole situation is going to be very interesting.
44:39I think a Buka takes a step forward. I do.
44:42I think Godwin is more productive than we think he'll be.
44:46Yes. And I think that the other guys, McMillan and Otten and Hurst and you know, Tess Johnson are going to just,
44:53the ball's going to get spread around a little bit there.
44:57And we'll be surprised week to week. Yeah. I mean, that's just pointing out Godwin wasn't healthy at all last year.
45:04Correct. That has been, I mean, that's pretty normal for him.
45:07That's a pretty regular concern for Godwin. I mean, he didn't miss, he missed the entirety, uh, the back half of 2024
45:14came back for two games and then got hurt again last year.
45:18I mean, we haven't had a 2022. He missed two games.
45:22He played a full 2023. So we're going, it's been a while.
45:26Mike, you're back on the clock Pollard. And we got five picks left.
45:30So we got to get, all right, we'll get moving.
45:33Uh, this is the time of the draft where I need to take a Washington running back.
45:39I'll just take bill. Can I hit the drop?
45:42Is that okay? We don't know. All right. That's not just going to like happen again later.
45:47Now audio ones are fine. It's video ones that get screwed up.
45:51He called himself out on a mistake that didn't even happen.
45:55Yeah. It was going to be great. Keep those under wraps brother.
45:59I thought I was excited for a surprise. In a private channel.
46:03It's funny. Cause I think my whole thought process, I'm doing you a favor setting this up to be a funny moment.
46:10And I did. I let you down. You didn't screw up enough.
46:14I mean, that's a Jason, you're on the clock.
46:17Marvin Harrison, Quentin Johnson, or your last two picks.
46:20Yeah. Bill and Dowdle were on the board, but I would have taken this player over both of them.
46:26I'm going to take Kenny gain. Well, okay. Um, you know, I, I think he's involved and playable from week one, but
46:33obviously if something happens, I think he's involved and playable is the highlight of his career.
46:38But if something happens to, you know, the, the smaller undersized leader of the timeshare, who's already been dealing with injuries and Bucky, then I think Kenny gain.
46:47Well has a really great season. Well, um, I was too busy fixing stuff to make his pick there.
46:54Blake Corham finally goes off the board. Oh, darn it, Kyle.
46:57And then Cortland Sutton and Josh Downs go off the board.
47:01Downs two rounds after Alec Pierce in this draft.
47:04George Kittle, a great pick at eight 12 by Julia.
47:07I love that pick. Um, and then we've got Rashad white, who I was just staring at, didn't disappear off the board
47:14with the first pick of the ninth round. So Al, you were waiting on, I was trying to decide between Corham and
47:21downs, which one would get back to me. And I chose wrong.
47:25Apparently Pittman and Pierce, I'll go next. And, uh, Al has got to settle on somebody else before Jason is on the clock.
47:33Jason, you're four whiteouts, Jason, Nico Harrison, and Quentin Johnston.
47:36You're three running backs, Jacob Scadaboo and gain. Well, with Josh Allen, a steal in the fifth, he is still deciding.
47:43I'm going to wait till I know. I was panicking here.
47:46I was trying to find somebody, but I'd swear he wasn't draft.
47:50Oh, he buck hearing was already taken. I'm sorry.
47:53I was looking for Michael Pittman. I didn't see him go just, uh, two picks ago.
47:58Well then. So this would have been one of those fun situations where he's going to clearly just take my guy.
48:05He has no idea who's going to say, I'll just take this guy.
48:10I don't think so. Wondale was the guy I wanted.
48:13Oh, perfect. You took Wondale Robinson. Jason, did you really?
48:16Yeah. Yeah. I figured with the way that my team is laid out with Marvin Quentin Johnston being, I believe in them, but they are question marks.
48:25And so I wanted a little bit more solid, just possession type receiver.
48:29I think he would have fit well, but since Wondale is gone, I'm going to say, let me just keep going for
48:36upside and I will take Matthew golden. You know, hopefully at this point in time, you, you, you expect him to be
48:43on the field in those two wide receiver sets.
48:46If you could just be good. Oh, the volume, the volume was right.
48:51It's right. It's very golden. Um, Mike, you're back on the clock.
48:55Pollard and Jocory cross came out your last two picks.
48:58You have Swift and HN with them flowers, rice and lamb.
49:01Haven't taken a wide receiver in a bunch of rounds.
49:05I cannot express how much I hate that Tony Pollard pick.
49:08I think it was a good pick. No, I hate it.
49:12I hate it so much. It really, I got, I was vibing and feeling great about every pace.
49:18And now we're just, we're derailed. I'm glad I talked you into it.
49:22Yeah. Uh, so I need a wide receiver. I'm going to take the guy who got it.
49:27He got a bag of money. He's got Drake may I'm going Romeo Dobbs.
49:32Of course. I would say nobody, nobody deserves Dobbs more than you do.
49:36Um, so you pick one up after the lamb rice flowers situation to start your draft.
49:41Okay. So this, this round, all I wanted was one of Matthew golden and Jaden Reed.
49:47Mm hmm. They're both now gone. Uh, oh, and then RJ Harvey was next up on the list and he has gone to bets.
49:55This RJ Harvey in the ninth. This is insane.
49:57This is upside down in for what your, uh, drafts of home will look like insane.
50:03This is everybody being afraid of, I know he's still drafted way too.
50:07We're Mike's rap. I thought I'd take RJ Harvey at nine.
50:11RJ Harvey, the ninth 11 is perfectly fine. I'm going to take Zach Charbonnet at nine 11.
50:16Okay. So, you know, the team has every plan for him to still be heavily involved.
50:21Price will get off to a good start. We'll see what Charbonnet second half.
50:26It looks like Jaden Higgins and Travis Hunter go next.
50:29Interesting. Yeah. I mean, we are, we are really getting thin here at the power positions.
50:34I'm staring down more wide receivers to add to a three wide receiver roster.
50:39And I'm not liking what I'm seeing. I mean, Khalil Shakir is an option.
50:43Jalen Coker just got paid. Jalen Coker's good. Diggs could get put on a roster and matter at running back.
50:50It's there's just not a lot of big names.
50:53Jordan Mason sitting there. That's sort of interesting, but I just took a running back.
50:58I've already got my onesies figured out. So I think I'm going to actually take a shot on Antonio Williams.
51:04Oh, that was dead gum. He would not have made it past me.
51:09No. All right. He is the last one out there that was, I was trying to get you to take Jalen Coker
51:16just so that I could get Antonio Williams. Doing the mock draft together where you share all of your thoughts is very funny.
51:23Um, well, it makes me happy that two people groaned after the pick.
51:27So Antonio Williams is the selection. That's the rookie wide receiver for the commanders who as of right now without with Brandon
51:35and I you going crazy and not having a team kind of, uh, you expect Antonio Williams to be the wide receiver too.
51:42Yeah. We'll see what he can do. Herbert worthy.
51:45Jonah Coleman, Mike back on the clock again. I want to remind you, Mike, you did draft Tony Pollard.
51:51I know. I know. Seventh round. If you didn't point that out.
51:55I still hate it. I still hate it. Uh, man wanting to find some, some upside here.
52:01Cause it's like Shakir. Are you thinking quarterback at all?
52:04Are there, is there one or two names that you think are like, so difference maker, like you love Caleb, Caleb sitting
52:11here in the 10th, not the sixth. The thing about the quarterback position is, I mean, unless these nerds going back in,
52:18like there's, there's one team without a quarterback between, but this between me and my next pick.
52:24So if I didn't bring it up, you're in better shape.
52:27Well, I wasn't, you know, cause it's like Caleb is there.
52:31Trevor's there. Dak, my, my stack quarterback is there.
52:34Brock Purdy. I love him. Like, I just wondered what the handle discussion we had last, right.
52:40Whether Caleb was in a different tier for you.
52:42Cause you could take him. I mean, like when you look at replacement value at other positions here, we're not having great
52:50discussions, you know, at the end of the day, if you're no, you're just, I'm, I would just be shooting.
52:56Let me put it this way. Give me a name that you would shoot upside with at wide receiver right now.
53:03Cause I want to hear the name. The it's disgusting, but it's Denzel Boston.
53:08Okay. So it is disgusting. Yes. It is Denzel Boston.
53:11You're telling me one week into the season, you're not trading Denzel Boston for Caleb Williams.
53:16If that was a trade offer that's out there.
53:19That is a very good way to think about it.
53:22I mean, to me, it's like, what is the probability of like, there's a chance that Caleb is top five quarterback.
53:29I mean, we, we put the odds somewhat reasonable.
53:32Yes. Right. Last Thursday, just throwing it out there.
53:35I'm not trying to, would you take Caleb Williams over deck?
53:39Like right now I know ADP wise, Caleb Williams goes way ahead.
53:43Right. That's what I assume. I'd rather have the stack over overtake.
53:46But even that, then you would trade Denzel Boston for the stack.
53:50You're saying, are you trying to protect me? So I just take deck here.
53:55Fine. I was, I'll be bullied into it. I'll be bullied into a good, safe pick.
54:00It was a logical argument I was trying to make where we are at a level where is, do you want Dak or Coker?
54:08Yeah. Do you want to guarantee the stack or Coker?
54:11No, you, you, it's a good point of, it's not a competition to see who can get their quarterback last.
54:18Right. Right. Cause you got close anyway. Because I mean, on this run, someone might take a QB two.
54:24Well, and the one team that doesn't have a quarterback is, is, uh, I mean, we have several, but one of them
54:31is sitting at, at the last pick of the round and they get two picks.
54:36So there's a decent chance that one of them goes.
54:39I bet you Caleb goes at 10, 12 or 1101.
54:43But Jason, you're back on the clock. Yeah. I, I absolutely love the pick I'm about to make.
54:48And it's so funny because I love my pick.
54:51No, you're, you're going to love it because I have said, I, I w I would never draft.
54:57Oh my God. I would never draft him because of where he goes in draft.
55:02Of course I'm taking Sam. It's the 10th round.
55:05Of course I'm taking Sam Laporta. My argument has never been Sam Laporta is bad.
55:10He's not good to be. It's like, why am I spending a six rounder?
55:14I, the guys that I'm sacrificing a tight end now in the 10th is just, it's all just crap shoots.
55:21No, everything you said makes sense. Including the part where you're like, it's not like I've said Sam Laporta is bad.
55:28Although you have done every. You're really, you've gotten really close to saying that out loud.
55:33He has written us letters. You have gotten really close to saying Sam Laporta is bad.
55:38So I have, I've said it with your eyes.
55:41I have made it work because now everyone in this group is afraid to draft Sam Laporta and they gifted him to me in the 10th round.
55:50Well, the thing I like about that is, you know, have a starting tight end every week.
55:56And that is not the, that's not necessarily what you get in the 10th round.
56:00Um, that being said, if you look at this, are you happy you did that or would you have been happier with
56:08Kyle Pitts in the ninth round and then coming back and taking another shot at wide receiver here?
56:14No, I, Matthew Golden and Sam Laporta is much better to me than say Kyle Pitts and Jalen Coker, the, the alternative option I could have gone.
56:22Caleb does go at the end of the round.
56:25Um, Mason C rod Boston, Caleb digs, Pacheco, McMillan, Shakir.
56:29Jason has got his onesies. He can choose whatever he wants here.
56:32Two picks left in this wild mock draft. I've got five wide receivers already.
56:37Um, and three running backs. I'm going to go ahead and take Mike Washington here.
56:42The, the rookie for the Raiders behind Jinty. Um, hopefully maybe he's either involved or he's just a good insurance option.
56:49I'm surprised you didn't go out here then. Uh, I mean, that's, I don't, I don't think love gets enough work to get injured.
56:57You know what I mean? Like, uh, anyone could get injured on any play, but I, the, the workload that you expect
57:04coming to Jinty, just more opportunity for sadness. Mike, you're back on the clock.
57:08Two picks remain. So I'm looking at rookie wide receivers.
57:12Hilariously a name. Perhaps Omar Cooper has not been mentioned on this podcast since the actual draft.
57:17Uh, he was drafted in the first round. That's it's by an NFL team.
57:22It's wild to be like, I'm not going to draft him.
57:25I'm just pointing out that the name should be Omar Cooper.
57:29First round wide receiver is here. Yeah. And he could be selected.
57:33It's just the, the situation is so. I don't have any problem with that pick.
57:38I mean, I, this is my actual philosophy. Like my last two odd receiver picks were Makai Lemon and Antonio Williams.
57:44And I will say this and it won't happen, but if Omar Cooper is there at 11, 11, he will be my pick.
57:52No question. Okay. Well then I'm going to let that happen.
57:56Uh, Zachari Branch Falcons. He's, he's interesting. I feel like he's probably doesn't have a ton of upside.
58:01Jeremy Bernard, a second round pick. Does he see 40 targets this year with DK Metcalf and, uh, uh, Michael Pittman on that team?
58:09We're going to swing, we're going to swing a heavy bat here.
58:13Uh, we're going to go with Ted Hurst. Oh, I like it.
58:17So yeah, that's, that's interesting. Cause when you didn't go Omar Cooper, first round wide receiver, you then your brain pivoted to
58:24two other rookie wide receivers in Zachari Branch and Ted.
58:28Well, I was only going through rookies of like, who, who do I think can make a splash immediately?
58:34And I have Hurst on that list. All right.
58:37So Trevor Lawrence does go next to Kurt. I was thinking about taking Trevor Lawrence with my next pick.
58:43Trevor Lawrence. There is absurd. Omar Cooper goes at 11, 10.
58:46Cause Betts can't be in these drafts anymore. I mean, frankly, Betts is living.
58:51He's living to just, he's told me, but he's like, dude, there's no one.
58:56I love more on this earth than Omar Cooper.
58:59He has got a drinking game. He is trying to fulfill though with his roster here.
59:04And, um, so look, it's late. I want another wide receiver and I really wouldn't mind a, an insurance policy on Jackson dart, which seems crazy.
59:12Um, but that's how I'm thinking about him. So I I'm actually going to pull the trigger on a player.
59:19I believe in I'll take bone next. I'll be the only one taking a double up here.
59:24I actually really liked the Jackson dart bone next combo.
59:28You figure between those two, you're both after the eighth round.
59:31Yeah. You're going, you're going to have one. You could play matchups and stream between the two.
59:37Cause I think they're both going to be good, but you've got two shots of one of the potential breakout quarterbacks actually hitting.
59:44Well, we got another combo that just happened. Um, I went bone next and then Bigsby and Camaro went next.
59:51I took Tyree kill with my final pick rumors of Philadelphia.
59:54We'll see. Uh, Patrick Mahomes goes next. So Betsy has Herbert and Mahomes as his combo.
60:00Purdy as the quarterback one for Brooks with the final pick of his draft.
60:04A con quo. A con quo is where I thought Kyle would take a con quo where he took, where he took Pacheco.
60:12I wonder if he has any regrets on that one.
60:15Uh, we have a, a con quo drop. Oh yeah.
60:18Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I'm just thinking we might need to warm it up for the season.
60:24Yeah. Kyle, you, you made your own Tony Pollard pick.
60:27I will say this cause you just brought his name up, but Isaiah Pacheco.
60:31I know that no one is excited for him.
60:34He looked so bad last year, but he's being under drafted right now.
60:39This is Dave Montgomery is gone. He is currently on a great offense, a running off a running offense.
60:45And obviously as an insurance option, like Pacheco is going behind some, some running backs that are actually a gift to the
60:52Gibbs manager because there's just, I don't know how many people are going to pull the trigger on him.
60:58Right? No, no one wants him. He's in the completely like, I think people would take tank Bigsby ahead of Pacheco.
61:05Oh, Bigsby went after. Who got slime back there?
61:08I don't know. Who was it? It was just production computer.
61:12No, it was everybody. It's all three of you guys.
61:15What is happening here? You're first, first you promised me a random snake drop, which we didn't get, which we didn't get.
61:22Then you unmute yourself back there, which by the way, before every show, I'll blow on and so I was like, mute yourself, mute yourself.
61:30My laptop's muted, but the production computer was not.
61:33Partial credit. Okay. Hitman, you're up. Final pick of the draft.
61:37Another name that has possibly not been said on this podcast since the NFL draft because it felt when he was drafted, we went, huh?
61:45Well, that's all right. He plays for San Francisco.
61:48I thought you were about to draft Carson. Oh, I love this pick.
61:52I love this pick. I love this pick. And honestly, the underlying beat report stuff has been positive.
61:58Yes, it has. So I'll take a chance on two rookies here.
62:02The draft Twitter community didn't know Stribling and so because he was overdrafted, everyone's like, oh, you must suck.
62:08He's a second round pick going to a team that's...
62:11I should believe in him if I don't think Evans can stay healthy there.
62:16Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. I'm going to take a pick that this is as much just for emotional support and belief in this player as possible.
62:24Former, recent, my guy. Oh, no. Give me Tank Dell.
62:27I'm gonna take that shot. Maybe he's healthy. Maybe he gets back on the field.
62:32Okay. This is my last pick. I'll swing for the fences here.
62:36He was great until the devastating injury. But he's past it now.
62:40He's out there. He's practicing. I don't know if you can get past that one, to be honest with you.
62:46I don't know if he's past it. That's a...
62:49You just have it. We finished. Oh, my... The Marlon Mack pick.
62:53Marlon Mack. How does this impact Marlon Mack? That was a good time.
62:58Mark Andrews goes... You are an idiot. How do you really feel?
63:01Final rundown of the rosters. My wide receivers. A.J.
63:04Brown, Garrett Wilson, Alec Pierce, Makai Lemon, Antonio Williams and Tyreek Hill.
63:08I feel great about those. James Cook and David Montgomery and Zach Charbonnet at running back.
63:14I'm gonna be thin there. Loveland at tight end.
63:16Jackson Dart and Bo Nix at quarterback. I feel...
63:19I hadn't drafted at the back half of a draft yet.
63:23The three wide kind of changed my expectations a little bit, but I feel okay about it.
63:29Mike? I got CeeDee Lamb, Rashid Rize, Zay Flowers, Romeo Dobbs, and then a couple of rookies, Ted Hurst and DeJon Stribling.
63:36Running backs are Devon Achan, DeAndre Swift, Tony Pollard, and Bill Krosky Merritt.
63:40I got Tucker Craft and Dak as my onesies.
63:43Yeah, I'm pretty happy with how my team turned out.
63:46Josh Allen and Sam Laporta at the onesies. I've got JSN, Nico Collins, Marvin Harrison, Quinton Johnston, Matthew Golden, and Tank Dell at wide receiver.
63:54And at running back, Josh Jacobs, Cam Scadaboo, Keeney Gainwell.
63:58Keeney Gainwell. Keeney Gainwell and Mike Washington. All right.
