Antonio Williams

PositiveRole43:00

Drafted by the Commanders in the third round. JJ Zachariason notes "we like to film" on him, indicating positive film evaluation. Part of the Commanders' offensive overhaul to replace departed veterans like Debo Samuel, Zach Ertz, and Austin Ekeler.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout44:07

Antonio Williams was drafted by the Commanders in the third round and is a player the speaker and team 'kind of like to film.' He's part of the Commanders' offensive overhaul, replacing stopgap guys from last year. The speaker expresses positive sentiment about his film and potential.

Insight page
NegativeRole45:05

Antonio Williams, a third-round wide receiver with high draft capital, played 93% of his routes from the slot in college. While slot production can translate, the concern is whether he'll be the second receiver in two-receiver sets for Washington; if limited to slot-only usage, his fantasy upside diminishes significantly.

Insight page
NegativeRole45:06

Antonio Williams, a third-round wide receiver with high draft capital, is a late-round dart throw in mock drafts due to opportunity and talent with Jaden Daniels. However, he played 93% of his routes from the slot in college, raising concern that if the Commanders use two-receiver sets, he may not be the second option and could be limited to slot-only usage, which hurts fantasy value.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

NegativeRole7:55

Albert Breer reports the Buccaneers are prepared to dive in on negotiations with Baker Mayfield this week; indicates active contract discussions underway.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

PositiveRole48:48

Brian Robinson Jr. (referred to as 'Bill' in the transcript) is the backup running back for the Washington Commanders with explosive upside. He has the juice and talent to become a featured back if he improves in pass protection and the receiving game. The coaching staff's confidence in him in these areas will determine whether he becomes a full-time player, making this a training-camp watch.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection33:00

CeeDee Lamb is ranked as wide receiver five and is in tier A/tier 1, near JSN. The speaker notes he's 27 years old and in his absolute peak prime. Over his last 17 games, he was an 'A in consistency,' including a game where he played almost 0% of snaps and still wasn't scoring touchdowns but was still great for fantasy. He has upside to score touchdowns (he had 12 a couple years ago). Lamb is the Cowboys' alpha and has a lot to prove coming off an injured year. The speaker has him definitely a tier above George Pickens without a doubt. When both Lamb and Pickens were on the field together, it was really CeeDee Lamb getting it done.

Insight page
PositiveProjection34:00

JJ Zachariason ranks him WR5 and places him in tier 1 alongside JSN, a tier above George Pickens. At 27 years old in his absolute peak prime, he was an A in consistency over his last 17 games despite playing almost 0% of snaps in one game and not scoring touchdowns. He's the Cowboys' alpha with upside to return to 12 touchdowns (from a couple years ago). When both he and Pickens were on the field, Lamb got the first look with 13 and 11 targets in the first two games.

Insight page

Chigoziem Okonkwo

PositiveSleeper49:09

Chigoziem Okonkwo signed a three-year, $17 million deal to be Washington's tight end one. He is a very athletic tight end with breakaway-play ability who will have high-volume opportunities in a passing attack with limited competition for the second target; he could be the number-two target in the offense. JJ Zachariason calls him an undrafted tight end sleeper with breakout potential, though he is not betting on it as heavily as some believers.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeInjury7:25

Dolphins placed rookie wide receiver Chris Bell on the active NFI list recovering from an ACL tear; he tore his ACL late in the offseason, making his Week 1 availability uncertain.

Dolphins placed rookie wide receiver Chris Bell on the active NFI list recovering from an ACL tear; he tore his ACL late in the offseason, making his Week 1 availability uncertain despite hopes for advanced healing.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveValue36:00

Dak Prescott is going as QB11 or QB9 (depending on ranking system) but is a strong value. He passed for over 4,500 yards last year despite missing CeeDee Lamb and had 30 touchdowns. The speaker notes Dak remains one of the best values at the quarterback position. While there's a concerning trend—when the Cowboys won, he averaged 24 fantasy points; when they lost, he averaged 12 (the largest gap between any top-15 QB)—the speaker is not destroyed by this because you don't have to pay up for Dak. Some of those bad games make sense (half of week 18 against Giants for 0.7 points, a horrific game on the road against Denver). As long as Dak plays 13+ games, he has been a top-10 QB in his career six times (QB 6, 10, 2, 7, 3, 5). If he plays 16 games, he will finish as a top-10 QB.

Insight page
PositiveValue36:54

Finished as QB5 last year despite missing CeeDee Lamb and throwing 30 touchdowns. Passed for over 4,500 yards. JJ Zachariason notes he remains one of the best values at QB and is going as QB11 despite a track record of finishing top 10 whenever he plays 13+ games (6 times in his career: QB6, 10, 2, 7, 3, 5). The concerning trend is his split performance: 24 fantasy points in wins vs. 12 in losses (largest gap among top 15 QBs), but this is mitigated by the fact that he doesn't need to be started in bad matchups.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveSleeper25:17

Dallas Goedert is described as 'the most sneaky, hidden, possible tight end gem that exists.' With AJ Brown gone and Makai Lemon and Eli Stowers growing into their roles, Goedert could have a 'solo project year' where he gets 90+ percent of snaps in the Eagles offense all year long. He had 11 touchdowns last year (an outlier; he's typically a four-touchdown-per-year guy), and with AJ Brown gone and proof he can be utilized around the end zone, he's worth a late-round shot. His points per game last year was 10.3 (his best), though he's had years of 9.5 and 9.1. He's always been injury-prone (played 10, 14, 12, 15, 11 games in recent years), but if healthy, he could be left in your lineup all year as a late-round pick.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper26:16

JJ Zachariason calls him "the most sneaky, hidden, possible tight end gem that exists." With AJ Brown gone and Makai Lemon and Eli Stowers growing into their roles, Goedert could have a "solo project year" with 90+ percent of snaps. He had 11 touchdowns last year (an outlier; typically 4 per year) and 10.3 PPG, his best mark. Ranked as TE10 overall by Zachariason versus TE13-15 for Kelsey and Andrews. Late-round target for teams punting the position.

Insight page

Darius Slayton

PositiveRole56:45

Darius Slayton gets no respect in the Giants' wide receiver room discussion, but he is part of the new direction alongside Malachi Fields. With the departure of Wandale Robinson and the injury to Malik Nabers, Slayton could see increased opportunity in the passing game.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeRole16:15

Devontae Smith is mentioned as part of the Eagles' receiving corps alongside Mekhi Lemon and Dallas Goddard following A.J. Brown's departure; the offense will spread the ball around more without being forced to target one direction.

Insight page
NegativeValue23:47

ADP is rising into August and he's being drafted as a wide receiver one in best ball formats. Without AJ Brown, he's essentially a WR1 for fantasy and has finished there before when Brown missed time. However, the upside is already baked into his ADP; he's not a discount pick and the excitement level is muted because the market has already priced in his elevated role.

Insight page
NegativeValue23:59

DeVonta Smith's ADP is rising into August and will continue to do so. In redraft, he's being drafted around wide receiver choice territory, but in best ball he's a top-12 guy. Without AJ Brown, Smith is essentially a wide receiver one for fantasy—he's already finished there before when AJ Brown missed time. However, the upside is already baked into his ADP; he's being drafted like a wide receiver one in best ball drafts right now, so there's no discount available. The speaker notes he's a fine pick when push comes to shove later, but the upside is not surprising to the market.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveProjection33:00

George Pickens is ranked as wide receiver 11 and is described as a certifiable stud. He had a special year and was much better with CeeDee Lamb off the field. When both Lamb and Pickens were on the field together (first two games), Pickens had a solid week two but not great week one. However, Pickens 'went absolutely nuclear' in the time that CeeDee Lamb was off the field. Both are worth the price of admission with both staying healthy, and both are number ones. The speaker is very okay with George at wide receiver 11.

Insight page
PositiveProjection33:20

Ranked WR11 by JJ Zachariason. Had a special year and was much better with CeeDee Lamb off the field, going "absolutely nuclear" during Lamb's absence. Both are certifiably studs and worth the price of admission if healthy. Pickens had a solid week two as a Cowboy but the sample of both receivers on field together is limited (first two games only).

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveRole59:19

Isaiah Likely is Jackson Dart's primary tight end target and was the first and only player Dart named when asked about his weapons at Fanatics Fest. Likely is the more explosive, fun player compared to Theo Johnson and will probably produce more fantasy points. He is a weapon for Dart in two-tight-end sets, especially while Malik Nabers is recovering.

Insight page
PositiveRole60:00

Isaiah Likely is the more explosive, fun player between the Giants' two tight ends and will probably produce more fantasy points than Theo Johnson. He is a weapon for Jackson Dart and will benefit from two tight-end sets, especially with Malik Nabers sidelined. Dart specifically named Likely first when asked about his weapons at Fanatics Fest, suggesting early rapport and confidence.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

NegativeRole8:25

NFL Network's Ian Rappaport reports the Cardinals are in agreement that Jacoby Brissett deserves more money; Brissett is his own agent, and while all parties agree he deserves a raise, they have not yet reached agreement on the amount.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeRole40:57

Jake Ferguson had eight top-10 fantasy finishes last year, second only to Trey McBride on the season, but the speaker won't draft him. The reason: most of those games were when CeeDee Lamb was out. As much as Prescott loves throwing to the tight end position, there's only enough volume for two, and if one of those two is Jake Ferguson, he's going to be great. But otherwise, the speaker would avoid him. He's a conditional play only if one of the top two Cowboys receivers goes down.

Insight page
PositiveRole41:08

Had eight top-10 fantasy finishes last year, second only to Trey McBride, but JJ Zachariason won't draft him. The issue is that most of those games came when CeeDee Lamb was out; there's only enough target share for two receivers in Dak's offense. If one of Lamb or Pickens goes down, Ferguson becomes a must-add, but otherwise he should be avoided.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection15:30

Jalen Hurts' consistency metrics show significant decline: 2022 had 53% great games, 80% good, 7% bust; last year dropped to 13% great games, 44% good, 31% bust. The range of outcomes is wide—he could have a resurgent year with a new offensive coordinator (Sean Mannion) and spread offense, but also faces risk from losing A.J. Brown and aging supporting cast.

Insight page
NegativeProjection16:00

Jalen Hurts' consistency metrics show significant decline: 2022 had 53% great games, 80% good, 7% bust; last year dropped to 13% great games, 44% good, 31% bust—a humongous difference in week-to-week outcomes. Loss of A.J. Brown and new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion create uncertainty about offensive trajectory despite Hurts' historical ability to run a good offense.

Insight page
NegativeUsage17:00

Jalen Hurts' rushing touchdown production collapsed from 14-15 per year to 8 last season, a loss of 7 rushing TDs worth significant fantasy points. Rushing yards also declined from 700+ range to 421, outside of the touchdown argument representing a major downgrade. The tush push conversion rate dropped from 81% (48 attempts in 2024) to 64% (33 attempts), with only 8 goal-line attempts last year versus 13-15 in prior years.

Insight page
NegativeUsage17:00

Jalen Hurts' rushing touchdown production collapsed from 14-15 per season to 8 last year, losing seven rushing touchdowns worth of fantasy points. Rushing yards also declined from 700+ range to 421, a massive downgrade. Tush push attempts dropped from 13-15 to only 8, reducing his goal-line scoring opportunities despite the play remaining the most successful in football.

Insight page
PositiveValue18:20

Jalen Hurts is currently being drafted in the sixth round at his lowest ADP in several years; despite losing A.J. Brown and facing offensive uncertainty, he finished as QB7 in points per game last year and can still produce rushing touchdowns via the tush push, making him a fine value pick at this price point.

Insight page
NegativeValue18:30

Jalen Hurts is currently being drafted in the sixth round at the lowest ADP of his career, positioned as QB6 after Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Drake Maye, and Joe Burrow. While he likely won't be a top-three fantasy QB anymore due to reduced rushing yardage, he should remain a solid QB due to rushing touchdown upside from the tush push and new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion's system.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveRole38:27

Javante Williams is the clear, unquestioned lead back for the Cowboys with no debate in the backfield. The team paid him again and he's their running back—there is no competition from Jaden Blue, Phil Moppa, or Malik Davis; none of them matter. He's the goal-line back (100% when they're on the goal line, he'll get the touchdown opportunities in the rushing game) and is past two (over 50 targets from Dak last year; he's had over 70 recently when in Denver, though he won't do much with them). He's on a good offense with the same coaching staff and an offensive line with a former offensive line head coach (Clayton Adams from the Cardinals). The speaker has zero fear of anybody else in that backfield and can start him every week without thinking about it.

Insight page
PositiveRole38:58

No debate in the Cowboys backfield; he's the clear, unquestioned starter. The team paid him again and he's their running back with zero fear of competition from Jaden Blue, Phil Moppa, or Malik Davis. He's the goal-line back (100% when on the goal line) and will get rushing touchdown opportunities. Receives 50+ targets from Dak (had 70+ recently in Denver). The team got a lot out of him last year with the same coaching staff and an offensive line led by former Cardinals line coach Clayton Adams.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeProjection42:22

Jaden Daniels is trying to get back to health after a lost 2024 season for the Commanders (5-12 record). Last year, he and Terry McLaurin didn't even get to play together—they had only three games out of 17 together due to injuries. The speaker notes uncertainty about what the Commanders will be on offense with the departure of Cliff Kingsbury and Jaden Daniels' health situation. However, Jaden has an offseason to get healthy, and Terry McLaurin will be back. The speaker doesn't feel they know what the Commanders offense will look like and feels far removed from seeing it.

Insight page
NegativeProjection42:26

The Commanders had a lost 5-12 season after a great rookie campaign. Daniels and Terry McLaurin barely played together (only 3 games out of 17) due to injuries. JJ Zachariason expresses uncertainty about what the Commanders offense will look like with the departure of Cliff Kingsbury and questions about Daniels' health recovery. The team's win total dropped from 9.5 to 7.5, reflecting the uncertainty.

Insight page
PositiveProjection44:28

Daniels dropped from third-round ADP last year to sixth-round this year due to durability concerns and weapon losses (Eckler, Debo gone), but JJ Zachariason is comfortable taking a shot on him given his rushing floor; he was on pace to break scrambling records last year before injury, with potential to rush for 800 yards, which guarantees fantasy production regardless of passing weapons.

Insight page
PositiveProjection44:28

Daniels dropped from third-round ADP last year to sixth-round this year, but JJ Zachariason is comfortable taking a shot on him given his rushing floor; he was on pace to break all scrambling records before injury, with potential to rush for 800 yards. Even with limited passing weapons (Terry McLaurin, Antonio Williams, Traylon Burks), his dual-threat upside provides a guaranteed fantasy floor that can overcome offensive limitations.

Insight page
NegativeProjection47:27

Daniels' passing efficiency declined significantly in year two: completion percentage dropped 8%, yards per attempt fell 0.7, and touchdown percentage was down almost a full point. His rookie schedule was a cakewalk, and the harder schedule combined with injuries and a weak defense suggest regression from his year-one pace.

Insight page
NegativeProjection47:27

Daniels' passing efficiency declined significantly in year two: completion percentage dropped 8%, yards per attempt down 0.7, and touchdown percentage down almost a full point. Last year's rookie schedule was a cakewalk; this year's is harder, and the Commanders' weak defense and five-win record suggest limited game script support for passing volume.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveBreakout24:46

Makai Lemon is a first-round wide receiver prospect coming into a team that lost AJ Brown, creating significant opportunity. He's being drafted in the mid-to-late seventh round despite being a first-round pick at the position—a tier-one talent in a good offense with clear avenues for production. The speaker believes Lemon could be a breakout surprising year-one player and should move up in ADP from his current mid-to-late seventh round range. His talent is there, and the opportunity is clear, making him a player you should draft at a place where that impact will be very helpful for fantasy football.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout24:47

First-round wide receiver prospect joining an Eagles offense that lost AJ Brown, creating clear opportunity and avenues for production. JJ Zachariason notes he's a fantastic receiver being drafted in the mid-to-late seventh round—a significant discount for a first-round talent in a high-opportunity situation. With training camp ahead, Lemon could move up in ADP significantly as utilization becomes clearer.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury54:53

Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending ACL injury that has turned into a difficult recovery. He will likely start the year on the PUP list and miss the first four to five weeks of the season, limiting his early-season fantasy value despite his star potential.

Insight page
PositiveInjury55:01

Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending ACL injury in week six that has turned into a difficult recovery. He is expected to start the season on the PUP list and miss the first four to five weeks. However, JJ Zachariason believes he will be a star fantasy option by season's end if he reaches 85-90% of his capability, and he projects him as a fourth-round pick when healthy, with fantasy playoff potential.

Insight page
PositiveProjection57:29

When Jackson Dart was the starter, he targeted Wandale Robinson (185 pounds) 140 times, throwing him 14 targets in some games. Dart will give Malik Nabers every opportunity to succeed when he returns, and Nabers will be a monster at the end of the year. His target volume and Dart's aggressive passing to his top receiver suggest elite fantasy production once healthy.

Insight page
PositiveProjection64:03

Malik Nabers will be a star fantasy option at the end of the year if he reaches 85-90% of his capability. Jackson Dart targeted him heavily (140 targets to Wandale Robinson at 185 pounds), and when Nabers is on the field, Dart will give him every opportunity to succeed, making him a monster at the end of the season and a fantasy playoff asset.

Insight page
PositiveValue67:13

Malik Nabers should be targeted in the fourth round in 12-team redraft leagues. At that point, the entire league will start getting sweaty on him. If you have a strong running back and two other good wide receivers, you can afford to take the shot on Nabers in the fourth round despite his injury status, given his star potential.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeProjection28:23

Mark Andrews is ranked 21st overall at tight end by the speaker, behind both Dallas Goedert (10th) and Travis Kelce (17th). He's grouped with Kelce and Goedert as one of three older tight ends being drafted near the end of the draft (tight end 13, 14, 15), essentially as undrafted or near-end-of-draft tight ends.

Insight page
NegativeValue28:58

Ranked TE21 by JJ Zachariason, placing him in the tier of undrafted or near-end-of-draft tight ends alongside Kelsey (TE17) and Goedert (TE10). No specific production or role concerns mentioned, but the ranking suggests limited upside relative to other options.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeProjection20:10

Saquon Barkley had an explosive 2024 season with 17 20+ yard runs and 740+ yard runs, but last year showed no explosiveness. Among 55 qualified RBs with 80+ attempts, he ranked 48th in stuffed at the line of scrimmage and 48th in rushing success rate, 42nd in yards after contact per attempt. He tends to hunt for home runs rather than taking short gains; this worked when lanes were wide open but failed when defenses stacked the box due to the Eagles' poor passing game.

Insight page
NegativeRole22:00

Saquon Barkley's running style has historically involved seeking home runs rather than taking guaranteed short gains; this approach worked well when lanes were wide open but became problematic last year when the Eagles' passing game struggled early, forcing more defenders into the box against him.

Insight page
NegativeProjection22:00

Saquon Barkley's 2024 season was prolific with 17 20+ yard runs and 740+ rushing yards, but last year he did not show the same explosiveness. Among 55 qualified running backs with 80+ attempts, he ranked 48th in stuffed at the line of scrimmage and 48th in rushing success rate, 42nd in yards after contact per attempt—indicating defenders were getting bodies on him and he was not hitting home runs as effectively.

Insight page
NegativeProjection22:07

Ranked 48th in stuffed at the line of scrimmage and 48th in rushing success rate; 42nd in yards after contact per attempt. JJ Zachariason expresses skepticism about a resurgent year despite Lane Johnson's health, noting that Tank Bigsby looked great behind the same offensive line last year. At 29 years old with only 13 carries inside the five and one rushing touchdown, the declining touchdown volume is concerning.

Insight page
NegativeProjection22:07

JJ Zachariason expresses skepticism about Saquon's resurgent year despite Lane Johnson's return to health. Barkley ranked 48th in stuffed at the line of scrimmage and 42nd in yards after contact per attempt last year; he was hit frequently and the Eagles' poor passing game kept defenses stacked in the box. At 29 years old, Zachariason notes that while Lane Johnson's health could open lanes, he was skeptical when watching Tank Bigsby behind the same offensive line last year—Bigsby looked great. Additionally, Barkley had only 13 carries inside the five with one rushing touchdown, a significant decline in goal-line work.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeProjection42:22

Terry McLaurin is expected to be back and healthy for the Commanders after a lost 2024 season where he and Jaden Daniels had only three games together out of 17 due to injuries. The speaker notes McLaurin will be back out there as part of the Commanders' offensive changes, but expresses uncertainty about what the offense will look like overall with the departure of Cliff Kingsbury and questions about the wide receiver room.

Insight page
NegativeProjection43:00

Will be back on the field after a lost 2024 season where he and Jaden Daniels played together in only 3 of 17 games. The Commanders made offensive changes including bringing in Chigakonkwo and Rashad White, and drafted Antonio Williams in the third round. JJ Zachariason expresses uncertainty about the offense's direction with the new coordinator and questions whether there will be reliable pass catchers for Daniels.

Insight page
NegativeProjection45:00

McLaurin is the reliable pass catcher in Washington's offense, but he is older and was thriving on touchdowns a couple years ago. Ceiling is debated—one JJ Zachariason thinks top-ten potential, another thinks lower—but there is uncertainty about his role in an offense lacking other weapons.

Insight page
PositiveProjection45:00

Terry McLaurin is the reliable pass catcher in Washington's offense and a top-ten ceiling candidate. While he is older and was thriving on touchdowns a couple years ago, his ceiling remains solid as a top-ten wide receiver despite questions about the overall weapons around Jaden Daniels.

Insight page

Theo Johnson

PositiveRole60:00

Theo Johnson had a great rapport with Jackson Dart last year and will be part of two-tight-end sets alongside Isaiah Likely. While Likely is the more explosive option, Johnson is a complementary weapon for Dart and provides depth at the position while Malik Nabers recovers.

Insight page
PositiveRole60:00

Theo Johnson had a great rapport with Jackson Dart last year and is a weapon for the Giants' passing game. He will be part of two tight-end sets alongside Isaiah Likely, especially with Malik Nabers sidelined. Both tight ends complement Dart's playmaking and provide passing-game support early in the season.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveProjection28:23

Travis Kelce is ranked 17th overall at tight end by the speaker, behind Dallas Goedert (10th). While Kelce still had 76 catches for 850 yards last year, the speaker notes 'he is clearly on his last' and this is 'the end for Travis.' Kelce will probably have more work than Goedert in PPR and will likely still be the number two target for the Chiefs, but the speaker has Goedert leaps and bounds ahead of him. Kelce may still get work around the goal line, but the speaker's ranking reflects declining confidence.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeRole57:34

Tyrone Tracy is the backup running back behind Cam Saquon Barkley in the Giants' deep backfield. The team has a strong run-game focus under John Harbaugh, with Tracy serving as a secondary option in a run-heavy offense.

Insight page
PositiveRole57:37

Tyrone Tracy is the backup running back behind Cam Scadaboo in the Giants' deep backfield core. The team has a strong running game with Tracy as a complementary piece, which will be a key part of the Giants' offensive strategy while they develop their passing game.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveDepth Chart56:45

Wandale Robinson is gone from the Giants, leaving a significant void in the passing game. He was Jackson Dart's primary target last year, receiving 140 targets despite weighing only 185 pounds, and his departure removes a key weapon from Dart's arsenal.

Insight page
NegativeUsage57:29

Wandale Robinson, at 185 pounds, received 140 targets from Jackson Dart when Dart was the starter, including games with 14 targets. This demonstrates Dart's aggressive target distribution to his primary receiver, setting a precedent for how he will target Malik Nabers when he returns.

1:58But sometimes it's, sometimes it works. It's necessary. Uh, welcome into the Fantasy Footballers.
2:02Mike Wright, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway back with you.
2:05We've got a full production crew today. Inducers Allie, Al Borland, Papa Josh and the Falcon in the building.
2:12For now. We'll keep an eye on him. You say he may fly the roost.
2:17You never know. You never know. Uh, we have an NFC East breakdown episode.
2:22Eagles, Cowboys, Commanders, Giants on today's episode. And I believe one more divisional breakdown show after this one.
2:28Correct. Should be. Going over to the West. Yeah.
2:31The West only has three teams this year. Did you know that?
2:35I did know that. Yeah. As a Cardinals fan, I am well aware.
2:39So that'll be the Saturday episode and then we'll be through all the divisions.
2:44If you missed any of them, we're kind of breaking down the changes for the teams, uh, addition, subtractions, head coaching offenses,
2:51expectations, players that are kind of, you know, not, not the obvious draft picks, but the more debatable upside downside situations.
2:59So we'll get into the NFC East today. You can pick up the ultimate draft kit at ultimate draft kit.com or better yet.
3:06You can, and you should go to join the foot.com become an ultimate foot plan supporter of the podcast and you will get everything.
3:14The UDK, the in season tools, um, the lineup optimizer in the season, everything we have to offer.
3:21But what if we make new stuff? You'll get that too.
3:24Okay. Yeah. We're, we're upgrading a lot of stuff with the mock draft tool.
3:29We know it's still beta, but, um, we're working on dynasty, getting that added in and some other cool stuff.
3:36We've gotten all your suggestions and we appreciate them and we're going to keep working on it.
3:42A quick question of the day. I don't think we're going to do one today.
3:47Oh no, we do have one. Hey ballers. How much do you guys focus on strength of schedule when drafting Tom and Ohio wants to know?
3:55So, I mean, in these divisional breakdowns, if you're paying attention, we always talk about the opening schedule for that team because that, that can matter.
4:04You know, there's players that you don't, you know, I don't, I don't give a crap what the schedule is.
4:11I don't care how hard you say it is.
4:14Every, every format can say this is the worst schedule imaginable.
4:18And there's still fantasy players that you will draft regardless, but there's somewhere you're not moving off of Josh Allen.
4:25Cause Oh no, it's a tough defense, but it's there.
4:28There's guys where it can be a tiebreaker. Sometimes you need, you, you're, you have a roster construction where, you know, in
4:35this round, like, Oh, I got to get a player that I know I'd be able to play for a month.
4:43Maybe this isn't a season long player, but throughout time through like the waivers, I'll be able to do it.
4:49It's fun to look at the playoff schedule and dream at and hope at this time of year, but it's still too early to be doing that.
4:58Yeah. There's so much turnover on the defensive side.
5:02And what I was going to say is I really pay attention to extreme matchups to start the year.
5:08If I, cause I know Houston's defense is going to be really good.
5:12Sure. But the, but something middle of the pack or something that rated gets rated as a, a kind of a bad
5:20matchup based off of last year's numbers and stats and players.
5:24I'm not overemphasizing that. Like I'm looking for extremely easy matchups.
5:27Like I still know that Cincinnati and Dallas are not going to be, they're not gonna be top 10 defenses.
5:34So those are going to be juicy to start the year, but I'm not overemphasizing it myself.
5:40Yeah. And then the, the only thing I would say that I specifically look at, I mean, if I'm in my draft
5:47and I figure I'm going to end up streaming my quarterback.
5:51So I, I missed out on, you know, the top studs and now I'm getting towards double digit round.
5:57You're not missing out on Josh Allen the last few months.
6:01I'll tell you that. No, no, I'm not. Uh, but should that happen?
6:06Then I look at the schedule for those later round quarterbacks that I don't think I'm necessarily just playing for 17 games.
6:13I'm going to say, well, who's he playing week one, week two.
6:17And then certainly every single draft, the thing I probably care about the most when it comes to the defenses that I'm
6:25picking is what, what, what are they getting off to?
6:28You know, are you know, if it's like, Oh, do you want to play against the lions in week one?
6:35Right. No. Uh, but like the Packers, the Packers start, um, Minnesota, the jets, the Falcons, they're good defense.
6:41Like that's, I'm fine with this stuff. Cause I need, I need Micah to be back and I don't think he'll be there to open the season.
6:50All right, let's talk news. News and notes from around the league.
6:54ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports lions tight end Sam Laporta with the herniated disc fully cleared for training camp.
7:00So the Laporta train keeps going. Keeps going. Hey, incredible.
7:04Citing your source work over there, Andy. Oh yeah.
7:07Yeah. It was ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that did that.
7:10Yeah. Uh, the Seahawks officially placed running back Zach Charbonnet on the pup to be expected.
7:15He should start the season on the pup as well.
7:19The dolphins place Chris bell, their rookie wide receiver on the active NFI list, recovering from an ACL.
7:25Not completely unexpected at this point, slightly disappointing. You know, you, you hope with the whole, uh, we don't have any whiteout situation.
7:33They have that as well as just this, the, you know, the year of the peptide advanced healing ahead of schedule.
7:40You know, you want them out there, but, um, he tore his ACL pretty late.
7:45So you, you know, whether he's there week one is TBD.
7:49Albert Breer reporting. The Buccaneers are prepared to dive in on negotiations with Baker Mayfield this week.
7:54That's good. Is there a team now unprepared to have negotiations with their quarterback?
7:59Well, I, I just want to know the difference between current status and diving in.
8:04Like, is this, we've been in a big room or getting into a smaller room?
8:09Yeah. Wait, are we in a pool legitimately? Yeah.
8:12I mean, are we, are we feet in? Are we waste in?
8:16No, if you're diving in, you can't be. You have nothing in?
8:20No, not yet. You're about to dive in. Maybe you can help me with this.
8:25The NFL Network's Ian Rappaport says the Cardinals are in agreement.
8:29That Jacoby Brissett quote deserves more money. This is a great news section today.
8:34I love this report. This is, yeah. We all agree he deserves more money.
8:39Yeah. No, we're not going to pay him more.
8:42Yeah. But like, dude deserves it. He deserves the world.
8:45The funny thing is, Jacoby Brissett is his own agent, which I find to be all the more humorous in my cartoonish mind.
8:53Jacoby's agent also agrees. Yes. Yes. He deserves more money.
8:56Yeah. They're all of them agree. Jacoby, his agent, the Cardinals.
9:00We just can't quite get there on what that represents.
9:03I've never seen the self-agent thing work for the benefit of the player.
9:08I feel like we've heard about it working. I mean, if you're LeBron or something like...
9:13Lamar has been negotiating some stuff. Okay. Well, that's like if you are the most elite where you're basically going to get everything you ask for, okay.
9:22But if you're not, you need an agent. I feel like it's...
9:26But the counterpoint would be, if you're not, I don't need an agent coming in putting hands in the pockets.
9:33Oh, you want the hands. You want to give the 10% away because that agent is going to get you more.
9:40Well, both those teams ready to dive in, just really haven't dove in yet.
9:45But they're getting there. There's a chance any day now.
9:48Let's get it going. Let's get divisional. The NFC East last year.
9:53Philadelphia won the division at 11-6. It was the first time we've had back-to-back division champs in the NFC East since 03-04.
10:00That is wild. The other thing I've noticed when I look at all the recent winners, if I count it back from
10:07this past year, Eagles, Eagles, Cowboys, Eagles, Cowboys, Commanders, Eagles, and so on, is that the Giants haven't appeared in that list since 2011.
10:16Every other team has won the division at least three times since the last time the Giants won it.
10:2215 years ago. Which is wild because... They're not winning it this year.
10:26Yeah. Well, not with that speech. Dude. Harbaugh. It's the New York...
10:30I see the New York Giants. It's the New York Giants.
10:34No, hold on. It's the New York Giants. If you haven't seen Harbaugh's incredible, motivational speech...
10:40Yeah, it was... It was on John Gannon level.
10:43He did not have a script. But... Let's put it that way.
10:47Yeah, I wouldn't put it all the way to Gannon, but it was disappointing.
10:52It was lame. It didn't work for me. It was lame.
10:55It didn't do much. Yeah. Hopefully, there's been some better conversations.
10:59And I don't know Harbaugh. I don't know his tendencies.
11:02At that point, you just got to start cursing.
11:05You have no material, man. Oh, is that where you got to go?
11:10Just unleash it. What about pew, pew, pew, pew, pew?
11:13Pew, pew. Got a fire in your belly? I like what the Falcons are saying.
11:18You know, Liam Cohen was cringed till the winds started flowing.
11:22Yeah. Well, but we know who Harbaugh is. Yeah.
11:25Yeah, he's got to cringe. Let's start with Philly.
11:28Last year, projected win total, 11 and a half.
11:31Eight and four and one score games. They have whatever the...
11:35Just short. What do you mean? Well, the projection was...
11:38Oh, 11. Yeah. They have the opposite of the 49ers situation going on the last two years.
11:44They have been one of the healthiest teams in all of football.
11:48We'll see if that continues. San Francisco should hire away some of those guys.
11:53Yeah. There is certainly a huge amount of luck built into health, but there has to be...
11:59Yeah. ...better staffs. And when you have a crap medical staff, as in you look and your team is always getting wrecked
12:06by injuries, you got to start looking around at what other people are doing.
12:11Yeah. The training... I don't even know if it's the medical staff versus the training staff and whatever you're doing.
12:18I mean, they're doing something wrong in San Francisco.
12:21There's just no way that you are always that injured.
12:24But yeah, it's nice that the Eagles were healthy.
12:27Obviously, that helps them get to the Super Bowl.
12:30And honestly, last year, despite their health, one of their big problems, and we saw it was whenever they were missing Lane
12:38Johnson, they looked like a different offense. Well, this year, they are projected for 10 and a half wins.
12:44They have a new offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion. Again.
12:47Again, another new one. One of the interesting things about their offense, since it's always a part of the debate, back in 2024, they had 48 tush pushes.
12:57They converted 81% of those. Last year, 33 tush pushes.
13:00Pushes. Pushes. Yeah. Whoa. Whoa. They converted 64% of them.
13:03I almost made the joke. And oof. Just don't say it three times fast, Mike.
13:08Don't do it. Sixth in points per game in terms of their defense giving up.
13:13You know, they were an elite defense. We know that about them.
13:18But on the offensive side, it wasn't great. 24th in yards per game.
13:2219th in points per game. That's how you end up with a new offensive coordinator.
13:27The problem that I have is that, generally speaking, your offense doesn't take a step forward when you're already older, running back
13:34gets older, and your best wide receiver leaves, and you replace him with Hollywood Brown and Dontavian Wicks.
13:41And Mekhi Lemon. Mekhi Lemon is certainly not A.J.
13:44Brown today. Maybe he can get there tomorrow. But I do have my concerns about the trajectory of the offense and whether we're going to see...
13:52Like, we've gotten the whole experience with Philadelphia. We've gotten...
13:56Offensive coordinator comes in, they stink. We have offensive coordinator comes in, Kellen Moore, they're awesome.
14:01We now have another one coming in. It's just a team that's quick to turn on somebody.
14:07It's really... Well, it's not always turning on somebody.
14:10Sometimes it's success and sometimes it's failure. It's been pretty much every other year.
14:15They went to the Super Bowl. Shane Steichen was great.
14:18Ended up going to Brian Johnson. He sucked. They were like, ah, that didn't work.
14:23So then they've got to replace him. They bring in Kellen Moore.
14:27That was great. He did so well that he gets a head coaching job.
14:32Then Kevin Petullo comes in. He sucked. And he was terrible.
14:36One of the worst offenses imaginable to watch. And you can blame Jalen Hurts and say...
14:41Some people did. Some people said, well, Petullo's got to dumb down the offense because Jalen Hurts can't read defenses, blah, blah, blah.
14:49We're not inside the building. I have no idea if that's true or not.
14:54But I know that we've seen Jalen Hurts run a good offense.
14:58We've seen him go out there and rush for 600 and throw for 3,800.
15:03So he can do it. Now you're making another change.
15:06You're going to Sean Mannion. And so, yeah, running back older.
15:10No A.J. Brown. No A.J. Brown. Those are negatives.
15:13But I do think that the shift of the offense is massively important.
15:17It's a huge upgrade because what we saw from the system last year was so bland, vanilla, boring.
15:23Well, let me say a couple things. One thing we did learn was that they couldn't fix it even when they tried last year.
15:31It wasn't like they didn't know something was wrong in week two, three, four, five, six, seven.
15:37They couldn't get it right. The other thing I want to bring up, and this is a fair question, like we've seen this many, many times.
15:46Some players have very special seasons. You go back to 2022.
15:50Jalen Hurts, in our consistency metrics, 53% great games.
15:5380% good, 7% bust. Last year, the worst in all three metrics for him, 13% great games.
15:58That's a humongous difference on what you're getting week to week.
16:02And just 44% good games. He busted 31% of the time.
16:06I know we can point to lots of different things, but at least the range of outcomes is there for Jalen Hurts.
16:13You could have a resurgent year. Devontae Smith, Makai Lemon, Dallas Goddard, Saquon can run the ball.
16:19The offensive line stays healthy, but you can also get this.
16:23And so I think it is one of those things where fantasy managers are having a hard time knowing whether they should
16:30reward the past in their draft spot for Jalen Hurts now.
16:34I think they should. Obviously, I've been a Jalen Hurts apologist for many years.
16:39Sometimes it's been great. It's never really been bad.
16:42It's not like he crushed you last year, but it was very disappointing.
16:46And the change, though, to me, obviously lose A.J.
16:49Brown. That's not helpful to the offense. However, I think when they spread the ball around and not having to force it one direction is good.
16:58But also, on the goal line, I mean, the tush push has been magical for them over the last several years.
17:05It's not in the news anymore, meaning it's not coming up.
17:09It's not being voted on this year. It will be back.
17:13If you look at just tush pushes over the last couple of years, there were opportunities that just didn't come this last year.
17:20And that's, you know, you had 13 attempts two years ago, 15 attempts the season prior.
17:26And then this last year, only eight attempts at the goal that they just found themselves on the goal line.
17:33And that's been his secret sauce for fantasy. He hasn't since his sophomore year has been double digit touchdowns every year.
17:4015 touchdowns, 14 rushing touchdowns. Last year is eight.
17:43It's just many fewer attempts at the tush push on the goal line.
17:47Those are things that I don't think are. I mean, he only had 421 rushing yards, which is outside of the touchdown argument.
17:55You're talking about a pretty big downgrade for him.
17:58He's gone from 7, 84, 7, 60, 60, 5, 6, 30, 4, 21.
18:02You're going to have to have the rushing touchdowns go up.
18:06He is not, you know, he's going to be 28.
18:10I think that the years of having, you know, 700 plus rushing yards, those are gone.
18:15Did you mean passing touchdowns going up or were you saying rushing touchdowns?
18:19Rushing touchdowns. Oh, okay. Yeah, because rushing touchdowns the last couple years, he's been at 14, 15, and then this last year drops to eight.
18:28That's a massive amount of fantasy points when you're talking about losing seven rushing touchdowns.
18:33I wasn't sure if you were saying he needs to become more prolific as a touchdown thrower because his rushing yardage is diminishing.
18:41No, I mean, I think those are different things.
18:44The rushing yardage will be going down, but I don't think the rushing touchdown totals will necessarily be going down because of the tush push.
18:52When they get to the one-yard line, that's not like upping his rushing yardage.
18:57Oh, but they're less successful at it now. They're slightly, but it's still the most successful play in football.
19:03So, you know, it's like did they fail like once or twice more percentage-wise than they had the year prior?
19:10Yeah, but they're absolutely still going to call that play.
19:14Points per game, Hurts was still the QB seven.
19:17So, I mean, he finishes at 10, but he didn't play the last week.
19:21I think there's a lot more risk to Jalen Hurts now than there ever has been before.
19:27Oh, see, I feel like the risk earlier. Because A.J.
19:31Brown gave him a guaranteed passing game ceiling that I don't think he can necessarily meet.
19:36I mean, last year, those numbers you talked about, Mike, that was just career high in passing touchdowns.
19:42If they hadn't been there, you're talking about an even more disappointing year consistency-wise.
19:47ADP-wise, he's the last of the, like, you feel cozy.
19:50They feel like a warm blanket of job. So you both feel that way?
19:55Well, I'm just saying what the price is, a point where right now it's hurt, or I'm sorry, Josh Allen, Lamar, Drake,
20:02Joe Burrow, Jalen, then Hurts is what I'm seeing for current redraft ADP.
20:07So at that point, it's like, what's the, you know, in your head, Andy, what's the, how large is the gap between
20:14Hurts and Jalen or Hurts and Burrow? Like, do you, as a fantasy football player, are you feeling, oh, I'm so confident?
20:22Yeah, so then why just wait for Hurts? Yeah.
20:25It would be the thesis. So I think he's a fine pick.
20:29I think it's fair to put him at the end of the list of the known commodities for fancy quarterbacks.
20:36Yeah. I think you can say both things, and both things can be true, where he's probably not going to be a
20:43top three quarterback anymore because the rushing yardage isn't going to be up at 750 plus.
20:48He's not going to be a bad quarterback for fantasy because of the rushing touchdowns.
20:54And so this year, the risk is, it's the lowest ADP we've seen from him in several years.
21:00You're getting him in the sixth round. Yeah, I think people have doubts about the offense without AJ Brown and doubts about,
21:07you know, the next player we're going to talk about, which is Saquon Barkley, who had the prolific Super Bowl winning incredible
21:152024 season, 17 20 plus yard runs, 740 plus yard runs.
21:18This was just truly unbelievable. Last year, I mean, we did not see the explosiveness from him.
21:24And so people want to know for fantasy, where does he slot in among the big names?
21:30Is a resurgent year in the cards or, you know, I've seen some people talk about Saquon in the context of he's
21:37never been great at like getting what wasn't like not having that offensive line that setting things up for him.
21:44He always wants a home run. But like going back to the time as a giant, you know, he there's plays where
21:51you're like, come on, Saquon, just take take the four, take the four, take the five here.
21:57So that's just that's part of the Saquon Barkley experience.
22:01I mean, he was there were 55 qualified running backs that had 80 or more attempts last year.
22:07He was ranked 48 in stuffed at the line of scrimmage.
22:10And honestly, that tells me he wants to hit the home run.
22:15And it worked really well when all the lanes were wide open.
22:19But 48 then rushed success rate as well. 42nd in yards after contact per attempt.
22:24People were getting bodies on him. And the team could not pass the ball well to start the year.
22:30So I think more teams were stuck in the box against him.
22:34And it was working. Yeah. Could Saquon have a resurgent year?
22:38Yes. Lane Johnson being healthy, opening the lanes up.
22:41That could happen. I am more skeptical. When I watched Tank Bigsby behind the same offensive line last year, he looked great.
22:48Yeah. And, you know, obviously Saquon is a very, very, very good, you know, an all time back.
22:54But he's 29 years old. How many games did Lane even miss?
22:59I feel like he missed almost nothing. We do talk.
23:02He was banged up. But I feel like he barely missed any games.
23:06I think he missed. I think he missed like within a game where he technically started.
23:12I'll look that up. But I remember it being a big.
23:15I see 10 games for Lane. Oh, OK. Yeah.
23:19So he missed a good amount. Big storyline often of how much that hurt their offense.
23:2413 carries inside the five for Saquon. One rushing touchdown.
23:27Yikes. So to see the push, tush, tush, push.
23:30There you go. I'm really weary around that phrase now.
23:34To see those numbers go down and the Saquon rushing touchdowns go down is interesting.
23:39Devontae Smith, you know, I think that his ADP, he's a player that his ADP is going to continue to rise into August.
23:47I guess that's my only concern about him. It's going way up.
23:51So redraft right now, he's kind of been, you know, in your mocks and things of like this.
23:57Oh, yeah. I got Devontae Smith in the wide receiver choice.
24:01He's not. You could steal him for a while.
24:04In best ball, he's a top 12 guy. Yeah.
24:07I was going to say he's being drafted. I think that Devontae Smith without AJ Brown is essentially a wide receiver one for fantasy.
24:15He's already finished there before. We've seen it whenever AJ Brown has missed time that Devontae Smith steps up.
24:21But you're not getting a discount on him. It's not surprising people.
24:25He's being drafted right now in best ball drafts like a wide receiver one.
24:30And when push comes to shove later, I think he's a fine pick.
24:34But the upside is kind of built in. I think that the guy on this offense whose upside is not baked into
24:42ADP, I don't know why it just doesn't feel exciting at all.
24:46But Makai Lemon. Yeah. Makai Lemon is, one, great.
24:49I mean, I think he is a fantastic wide receiver.
24:52He was a first-round pick at wide receiver. There was a big three this year.
24:57He was one of those big three great wide receivers coming in.
25:02And he's coming in to a team that lost AJ Brown.
25:05So it's like, oh, okay. There's ways and avenues.
25:08You go like, this is a good offense. There's an opportunity.
25:12And the talent is there. Should he be like a breakout surprising year one player, you're drafting him at a place where
25:19that's going to be very impactful and helpful for fantasy football.
25:23Yeah, with training camp on the way, it will be interesting to hear what the utilization of Lemon and Wicks, what they're doing.
25:31Because Makai Lemon could really start moving up in ADP right now where he is.
25:36Like, that's mid-seventh, late seventh round for a first-round wide receiver in a team that has a bunch of opportunity.
25:43Those are players you should draft. Yeah, the wide receiver room is going to be an interesting one to watch in Philly.
25:50I mean, Devontae Smith, the cost is still high, but he's not like, I think most people are putting like George Pickens
25:58up ahead of him right now in rankings. And that's a player where you're like, okay, Devontae Smith should be their bona
26:05fide number one, but the volume differential. Makai Lemon is a discussion.
26:09Wicks will watch training camp. But Dallas Goddard. Dallas Goddard is the most sneaky, hidden, possible tight end gem that exists, in my opinion.
26:17It is like we're sitting here discussing the gargantuan absence of A.J.
26:21Brown. Makai Lemon, Eli Stowers is making no headlines.
26:25Makai Lemon has made few. He's been hurt. He's been banged up the hamstring.
26:29But a rookie to come in and become a superstar for fantasy versus a tight end being able to be a number two target.
26:37If he's the number two target for the Eagles, there were lots of games last year.
26:43He was super viable due to other players missing games.
26:46Due to touchdowns. Well, he had 11 touchdowns. But I'm just saying like this seems like the Dallas Goddard solo project year
26:54where you could have a bridge here between Lemon growing into the role and Stowers growing into the role.
27:00And here's Goddard getting 90 plus percent of snaps in an offense all year long.
27:05I don't mind taking a shot. He's one of the names we've brought up many times.
27:11When you're in the last round of your draft and you've done the thing where, hey, you didn't get one of the stud tight ends.
27:19So you're just punting the position to the end.
27:22He's in that list of absolutely take a shot at him.
27:2611 touchdowns last year. Now, that was an outlier for him.
27:30He's a guy who's usually been like four touchdowns a year.
27:33But with A.J. Brown gone and the proof that he can be utilized around the end zone, that's, you know, why not?
27:41Why not take a shot at him? He's always been ridiculously hurt, which has jacked up his fantasy finishes as well.
27:48If you look at points per game last year, it was his best because of the touchdowns 10.3.
27:54But he's had years of 9.5 before 9.1. So but he always misses time.
27:59I mean, he played 10 games the year before 14, 12, 15, 11.
28:03That's been his kind of problem. But I just think that if you're getting really, really late and you want to take
28:11somebody that you might just be able to leave in that spot, you're taking them as a streamer, but you might be
28:18able to leave them there all year long. I think Goddard is in that category.
28:23Yeah. So they open with Washington on the road against Tennessee, on the road against Chicago, then Rams and Jacksonville after that.
28:31But so those first three weeks, I mean, it's interesting.
28:34I'm curious, Andy. So there's three old tight ends.
28:37They are going back to back to back. And they're tight end 13, 14, 15.
28:42So they're basically the undrafted, the first undrafted tight ends or near the end of your draft.
28:48Kelsey. So Kelsey's one of them. Andrews and Goddard.
28:51Yeah. I mean, I have Goddard leaps and bounds ahead of those guys.
28:55I mean, Goddard is my number 10. Oh, really?
28:58My number 10 overall tight end. I've got Kelsey at 17.
29:02I got Andrews at 21. I'll just take Kelsey of that group.
29:06Pretty, pretty Kelsey. I'm just, I'm just okay with the, he.
29:10I think Goddard's going to get, I mean, he still had 60 catches.
29:14Sure. Travis Kelsey still had 76 to 850 yards.
29:17Yeah. I understand. But he's, I mean, he is clearly on his last.
29:22Yes. This, this, this is the end for Travis.
29:25But as of right now. You're taking the PPR.
29:28It's like, yeah. Kelsey's probably still the number two target.
29:31Yeah. Yeah. We may have to bet that later on.
29:35Kelsey will probably have more work. And then if you talk touchdowns, obviously you can have 11 from Goddard last year, but
29:42around the goal line, they'll, they'll still look for Kelsey.
29:45Yeah. I mean, that's the one thing that my Kyle M is not a big dude.
29:51No. So, uh, AJ Brown has been that dude for a while.
29:55And I don't know. I just have a good feeling about Goddard.
29:59I don't like it. I don't want it. It's just there.
30:03It seems like the obvious pick on that roster that where we want to find somebody else to me, uh, we'll take a break.
30:11We'll talk Cowboys. While the world was chasing trends, Fidelity figured out what blockchain technology actually means for investors.

31:02The Dallas Cowboys. I wonder if you could have remembered their record last year.
31:07Do you know it? Have you looked in the doc?
31:10No, I didn't look at their record. Okay. Yeah.
31:13Try to try to remember because they they're just a weird team, man.
31:18Yes. Gosh. Last year. Because we are we are covered in the the the Pickens and Lamb and the offensive numbers.
31:25But what was their record, Jay? Man, I feel like it was near 500.
31:29Seven and nine. Yeah. Was it? Seven, nine and one.
31:33That's not even a complete record. Seven. Oh, yeah.
31:36Because eight and eight is is 16 now. I was I was doing old school.
31:41No, I really didn't. His projected win total last year, seven and a half.
31:46It's eight and a half this year. Warren Sharp has them with the fourth toughest schedule for twenty.
31:52We don't like that. They were number two in yards per game and five in points per game.
31:58They were a terrible defense. And here we go.
32:01Brian Schottenheimer season number two. Hot stat from Kyle.
32:04He coached all 17 games. Kyle? Kyle's coaching now?
32:07No. Brian Schottenheimer coached all 17 games with a visor on.
32:11Well, Kyle's not here. So I wondered. He's coaching.
32:14He just he has the visor stats for Brian Schottenheimer.
32:17Dude loves the visor. Clayton Adams. Not just the visor, but you could see him frequently with a backwards.
32:24Backwards visor. Which is not normal, but it is cool.
32:27That was normal for me as a sophomore with my bleached hair.
32:31Did you go backwards visor? Bro. Yeah. You weren't cool unless you were backwards visor.
32:36Sideways visor? No, I wasn't that cool. Okay. You know, you talked about Mike Booth, the tough schedule coming up for the Cowboys.
32:44But that is a potentially good thing for them.
32:47They do have the Houston Texans in their fourth game.
32:50But this isn't necessarily the most difficult schedules for offenses to play against.
32:55Sure. This is good teams. And I'm looking at the totality.
32:59And they've got a lot of games that could be absolute shootouts and barn burners.
33:04You know, the 49ers are going to represent a very tough schedule.
33:08But against when you're like the Cowboys and you don't have a good defense and you've got a great offense, you're going
33:15to be able to score on almost all of these teams.
33:19And so, I don't know, maybe a tough schedule from a wins and losses perspective is good for fantasy football.
33:26So, let's talk through the pieces here. Dak, we've heard you sing his praises throughout the offseason.
33:31CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, I think there's been the fun debate amongst, you know, pundits about who's the better player as an actual wide receiver today.
33:40You know, I still have CeeDee Lamb higher. I think he's going to get the first look on a lot of plays.
33:48But George Pickens had a special year. And we know how he was much better with Lamb off the field.
33:54Lamb struggled with the drops. Both of these guys are certifiably studs for this year.
34:00Yes, they are both number ones. I think they are both worth the price of admission with both of them staying healthy.
34:07And then you also have the nitro upside. If the cowboy you don't have misses time, then yours is going to be even more valuable.
34:15So, just them with Dak and the two of them working together, it's an extremely exciting offense.
34:21And the fact that Javante is not a nothing burger really, really helps as well.
34:26I'm very excited. I'm drafting. I'm fine with CeeDee Lamb at wide receiver five.
34:31And I'm very okay with George at wide receiver 11.
34:34CeeDee Lamb is fantastic. He's 27 years old. He is in his absolute peak prime.
34:40He was an A in consistency over his last 17 games.
34:43That includes a game where he played almost 0% of the snaps.
34:47And he wasn't scoring touchdowns last year. He was still great for fantasy.
34:52He's obviously got the upside of scoring the touchdowns.
34:55You know, we saw 12 touchdowns a couple years ago.
34:58CeeDee Lamb is their alpha. And I think he's got a lot to prove coming off of an injured year.
35:05So, I still put CeeDee Lamb in, you know, basically in a tier A, tier 1.
35:10You know, JSN, CeeDee Lamb, to me, they're near each other.
35:14You cheering him above George? What's that? So, you have him above?
35:18Oh, he is definitely a tier above George to me, without a doubt.
35:23Nah. I mean... I think you... I mean, he is for me too, Mike.
35:27And I like George. I just... Yeah, that's not an anti-George take.
35:31He was a my guy last year. But when they were both on the field, it really was, you know, it was CeeDee Lamb getting it done.
35:41And just the comps with both of them on the field together.
35:45The sample of them both on the field is very difficult because it was like the first two games.
35:51Okay? So, that's... What did George do in those first two?
35:55Let me pull up those stats. So, week one was not great.
35:59Week two was solid for George Pickens. But I'm saying, like, that's his first two games as a Cowboy.
36:05So, of course, Dak is going to go to CeeDee Lamb to the tune of 13 and 11 targets.
36:12Then George goes absolutely nuclear in the time that CeeDee Lamb is off the field.
36:17And then when they were both back on, it was really both of them just being very good.
36:23Until the end of the season, there was kind of a slump.
36:27Let me bring up something that I don't think is very fun about the experience with Dallas that presented itself last year.
36:34Dak was the quarterback five. We know the counting stats are going to be there.
36:39He passed for over 4,500 yards last year despite missing CeeDee at 30 touchdowns.
36:44The weird thing about Dak last year was that, look, this team's projected, what, seven and a half wins?
36:51When they won the ballgame last year, he averaged 24 fantasy points.
36:55When they lost, he averaged 12. So, half the fantasy points in his losses is the largest gap between any of the top 15 quarterbacks.
37:03This was a, like, when it's good, it's great.
37:06And when they're losing, he was not a dependable enough fantasy quarterback.
37:10Does that trend concern you? Or is it something that you see?
37:14It doesn't destroy me because, number one, you don't have to pay up for Dak.
37:19Dak remains one of the best values at the quarterback position.
37:23One of those games that is really dragging down the average.
37:27He played half of week 18 against the Giants where he scored .7 fantasy point.
37:32So, that's involved another horrific game on the road against Denver.
37:36So, it's like that stuff makes sense. And, you know, when you're playing a fantasy quarterback like Dak and it's week eight
37:43on the road against the Denver Broncos, you go, hmm, maybe I don't start him.
37:48Maybe I don't play Dak this week. And that's, I think, a benefit to him.
37:53If you take him as a, what quarterback is he going as right now?
37:58He is going, I lost him. You guys have him ranked much higher than I do.
38:03But he's going as, like, QB 11. Ninth ramp.
38:07As a quarterback not being drafted as a top 10 who will, if he plays 16 games, Dak Prescott will finish as a top 10 quarterback.
38:15How many times has he done it in his career?
38:19Almost basically every single time that he has played a full season.
38:23He's been the quarterback 6, 10, 2, 7, 3, and 5.
38:27So, he's done it six times. As long as he has played 13 or more games, he has been a quarterback one.
38:34I want to play a game. It's a Javante Williams-centered game.
38:38Oh, man. Do you want boring Javante? Okay. This game is called Boring or Exciting.
38:43Okay. Okay. Do you want boring Javante? Or do you want Exciting?
38:47Cam Scadaboo. Jason, I'll let you go first. I want Cam Scadaboo.
38:51I want... Oh. I think I want Boring Javante.
38:54Do you want Boring Javante or Exciting Jeremiah Love?
38:57Jeremiah Love. Do you want Boring Javante Williams? Or do you want Exciting Travion Henderson?
39:02Travo. I don't want to answer this. Mike has to answer that one because I know he's going to be on the Javante side.
39:10It's Javante. Last question for you. Do you want Boring Javante Williams?
39:14Hmm. Let me pick a good one here. Or Exciting Quinshawn Judkins?
39:18I'll be on Javante there. Okay. Give me the offense.
39:22Really? We found... I feel like you've... You're always answering Judkins.
39:25Yeah. So, Javante, that's... Yeah, I mean... That's where the line is?
39:30You look at just the difference in touchdown opportunities between the Cowboys and the Browns and it makes it pretty easy.
39:37The most exciting thing about Javante is that this is not...
39:40There is no debate in this backfield of any kind.
39:44It is the most plain and simple. We paid him again and he's our running back and this is the running back for the Cowboys.
39:52Like that... I have zero fear of anybody else in that backfield.
39:56You can say Jaden Blue or Phil Moppa or...
39:59Malik Davis. Malik Davis. You can say... It's irrelevant.
40:02None of them matter. It's going to be Javante.
40:05The team got a lot out of him last year.
40:09It's the same coaching staff with an offensive line...
40:12Former offensive line head coach, right? Wasn't that what...
40:15Clayton Adams was a former... Yeah, the Cardinals. ...line guy.
40:18And he's like, yeah, let's just bring him back.
40:21So, I mean, there is something to be said about being able to start that guy every week you never think about it.
40:29Even in the Bayshall Tootin, Chris Rodriguez stuff, we have to have in the back of our head, oh, is he going
40:37to come off on a third down? Sure. Now, Javante's not good on it.
40:41He can't catch the ball, but he's going to be their starter.
40:45Yeah, I mean, you can't ask for much more than...
40:49Is he the goal line back? Absolutely. 100% when they're on the goal line, he's going to get the touchdown opportunities in the rushing game.
40:57Is he past two? Yeah. Over 50 targets from Dak last year.
41:01He's had over 70 recently when he was in Denver.
41:05Yeah, he won't do anything with him, but he's going to get the ball.
41:09Is he on a good offense? Yeah. I mean, the real issue here is, do they win games?
41:16That's, you know, they might be a sub-500 team.
41:19This will be a fun one to predict. Yeah.
41:22We have the Giants... I was just in real quick.
41:25...in Washington starting their season. Jake Ferguson in the...
41:28This is fantasy football is wild. Jake Ferguson, last year, eight top 10 fantasy finishes, second only to Trey McBride on the season.
41:36And I won't draft him. No, because... How many of those games were CeeDee Lamb out for?
41:42That's the whole thing. I mean, it's nice. Sign him immediately if one of those guys goes down.
41:48Yes. He is... He... Apparently, like, as much as Prescott loves throwing to the tight end position, there's...
41:54I guess there's only enough to go around for two.
41:57And if one of those two is Jake Ferguson, he's going to be great.
42:02But otherwise, I would avoid him. All right. The Washington Commanders.
42:06It was a lost season. 5-12 after having a great year with the Jaden Daniels rookie campaign.
42:11Their projected win total going into last year was 9-1.
42:15Oh, just missed. Yeah. Yeah. They had... If they doubled, they would have covered.
42:20The Eagles were the healthiest team or one of the most healthy teams.
42:24This was one of the most injured teams. Nine starters missed at least seven games.
42:29Third most adjusted games lost due to injury. It's exactly what it felt like.
42:34You never even got... Like, Jaden and McLaurin didn't even get to play together.
42:39I think they had three games out of 17 together.
42:42And so it was a disaster. I mean, this year, the win total has been nerfed down a little from that 9-1⁄2.
42:49It's at 7-1⁄2. I'll be honest. I mean, there are some teams I have a really good vibe, feel, understanding of what it's going to look like.
42:59This team, with the departure of Cliff Kingsbury, with Jaden Daniels trying to get back to health situation, with, you know, question marks in the wide receiver room...
43:08And a vampire calling the offense. Blah. Blah, blah, blah.
43:11Blah, blah. Yes. I don't think I know what they're going to be, is my point.
43:17I feel like we're so far removed from seeing the offense.
43:21Vegas doesn't either. Vegas says, uh... We'll go 7-1⁄2.
43:247-1⁄2? Yeah. I mean, I don't... Most of these reviews were, like, looking at what they did last year.
43:30This one, I feel like it's kind of... Not only is it unhelpful because you have a change in offensive coordinator, but
43:38it's unhelpful because you just didn't have players in place last year to do anything that are going to be in those spots to start this year.
43:47I mean, Jaden has got an offseason to get healthy.
43:50Terry McLaurin's going to be back out there. They have made some changes to the offensive side of the ball.
43:57They brought in Chigakonkwo. They brought in Rashad White.
44:00They drafted Antonio Williams in the third round, a player I think we all kind of...
44:05We like to film. Mm-hmm. We said goodbye to the old dudes, Debo, Ertz, Eckler.
44:10That was kind of, like, stopgap guys that... Like, none of those...
44:14Well, Ertz was, but the other two weren't a part of the previous season, right, where they had the success and went to the playoffs.
44:23So I don't even know if Ertz was now that I'm thinking about it.
44:28But... He was there. Yeah, Ertz was a part of that.
44:31I couldn't remember when he left Arizona. No, no.
44:34He's been in Washington for two years. Okay. He got...
44:38Yeah. But last offseason... 24, he played the full year.
44:41Like, Eckler and Debo were parts of the conversation in the draft area.
44:46Area of the year last year. Yes. They're gone.
44:49What are they going to be? What is this team going to be on offense?
44:54Because you've got to tell me that there's some reliable pass catchers for me to believe in Jaden.
45:00Yeah, I mean, so obviously there is a reliable pass catcher in Terry McLaurin, so you've got one.
45:06Antonio Williams, high draft capital, wide receiver that I think fits the mold for a wide receiver, too.
45:12Pretty good. He's a last-round dart throw in a lot of...
45:16I mean, we've been taking him in mock drafts as one of those later rookies who has opportunity and talent and a good quarterback here in Jaden.
45:25The... For Antonio Williams, he did play 93% of his routes from the slot last year.
45:30And yes, I know that things can be overmade about that where a college player plays in the slot and then they're like, no, I can do everything.
45:40But this isn't a first-round wide receiver. He's a third-round guy.
45:44Does that give you any concern that should they follow the trends and only have two wide receivers out there that he won't be the second guy?
45:53Yeah, I mean, obviously, if he's just being a slot wide receiver for the commanders, then he's not going to be great for fantasy.
46:01You know, you look at how the team lines up and I would imagine, you know, you've got Luke McCaffrey kind of...
46:08No, bro. You've got former first-round pick. Traylon Burks.
46:11Oh, they've got Traylon Burks there. Remember that touchdown?
46:14Oh, man. Touchdown was sick. Yeah, I agree with you, Andy.
46:18They don't have a lot of weapons, but Jaden Daniels is a weapon in his own right that can make up for a lot of that.
46:27But, I mean, will he... You could ignore all of the weapons and just say, look, anybody with the rushing floor of
46:34Jaden Daniels' ilk, I mean, this is going to be a guaranteed fantasy producing season.
46:39It's funny because, you know, you try to hope that he can comp to Lamar and develop into, you know, that level of a player.
46:48If he does, then you go, okay, well, who do they have?
46:52They've got Zay Flowers and an old Mark Andrews and, you know, some rookies coming in, and you don't really worry about it there.
47:00So, I think it comes down to, is Jaden going to be great?
47:05Last year, he went into the season in the third round.
47:08People were assuming, okay, this is that next superstar.
47:11Now he's a sixth-round pick. He's dropped a lot.
47:14Some of that, I'm sure, is the weapon. Some of that is probably the durability.
47:19The fact that we saw him get injured as an undersized mobile quarterback last year.
47:25But I'm fine taking a shot on a guy with the, you know, the total potential to go out there and rush for, you know, 800 yards.
47:34He was basically on pace to break all scrambling records.
47:37Yeah, he was not doing anything different running-wise last year in the games he was active.
47:42He just got hurt. And through the air was not as good.
47:47Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, you can explain it away with all the personnel.
47:51But statistically, completion percentage dropped 8%. Yards per attempt went down by .7.
47:56Touchdown percent was down almost a full point. We've seen this a couple times in a row where, you know, I've talked
48:03about it a little bit with the Patriots last year and their schedule.
48:08The schedule for rookie Jaden Daniels and the Commanders was a cakewalk schedule.
48:12And so last year it got harder. They only won five games with the injuries.
48:17I think their defense is not very good, which is good for fantasy.
48:21But I don't expect them to win a ton of games this year.
48:26At the running back position. Yeah, who are you taking a shot on?
48:30So, I mean, first you got to. I didn't think we'd be doing this whole dance again this year, to be honest with you.
48:38Yeah, I thought they would do more than add Rashad White.
48:42We thought Jeremiah Love might be going there. So, Bill, Ja'Kory Krosky, Merritt, it does start with him.
48:48You know, they're very close in ADP. I think they're very close in terms of who I would prefer to have on my team.
48:56This is very much a training camp. We need more news.
49:00On how they're handling things. Like Rashad White can come in and he can already do everything.
49:06He can, maybe it's not he does everything great.
49:09But he does everything perfectly acceptable for an NFL team.
49:12Where Bill is the one who has the juice.
49:15And everything they've kind of said about him in this offseason so far is the, when he doesn't have the ball, he has to be better.
49:24You know, like in pass protection, in the actual receiving game.
49:28If those, if it sounds like the coaching staff is going to become more confident in him and those things, I think
49:35there's a chance that Bill becomes just a true, like, he's on the field all the time.
49:41But this is, like I said, you need the news because it could be a nothing burger and it ends up completely being Rashad White.
49:50There are Chigakonkwo believers out there. I've been one before.
49:53Three years, $17 million deal arrives to be the tight end one.
49:57I'm sorry, Mike, but the tight end one on an offense that, like, financially.
50:02Zach Ertz was a big part. Way too big a part for you to handle of the Washington offense when he was catching passes here.
50:10We just talked about the absence of pass catchers in the wide receiver room.
50:15There's room. Let me just put it that way.
50:18There is room for Chigakonkwo to make his mark in this offense.
50:22Oh, gosh. You can acknowledge everything I said and still like Ben Sennett, just so you know.
50:28Yes. It's, look, Ben Sennett year one, five receptions.
50:31Year two, 11. Year three, 24. I'm just saying, at this rate, we're growing exponentially.
50:36I need somebody to talk about Chigakonkwo because that might matter.
50:40Look, Chigak is a very athletic tight end that we've seen have some breakaway plays.
50:45They need him desperately. They paid him. He will have the opportunities.
50:49They pass the ball. The trick is that they paid him desperately as well, which maybe is the case.
50:55They pass the ball a lot to Zach Ertz.
50:58I think that the opportunity will be there for him.
51:02Absolutely a sleeper. You know, he's basically an undrafted tight end that is, you know, it's like if you wanted, if you
51:09told me that one of him or Goddard was going to have a breakout, it's more likely that Chig breaks out.
51:16Yeah, because he could be the, you know, a high volume passing attack, number two target in the offense.
51:23There's really very little competition for that second target.
51:26And so, yeah, I would say Chigak has the opportunity to break out.
51:30I'm not betting on it like the biggest loser is.
51:34That's his guy. But, yeah, I mean, to me, I feel like the piece of this offense I want is Jaden Daniels.
51:41And I'm not very excited about most all the other pass catchers.
51:45We haven't even mentioned Terry McLaurin, but, you know, he's older.
51:49He was thriving on touchdowns a couple years ago.
51:52His ceiling is wide receiver what? Sealing? The ceiling's still solid.
51:56Wide receiver. Like seven? I don't think that high.
51:59I do. I think the ceiling is easily a top ten player.
52:03I'm realizing as we're doing all these teams from this entire division that all their tight ends might be the same player from a fantasy perspective.
52:11Like I can make an argument that Ferguson did it for a bunch of games.
52:17Goddard did it for a bunch of games. Chig has had big games.
52:21In fact, the last two years he's ended with like top six performances like multiple times in the last handful of weeks.
52:28He loves the end of the season. And then now we're going to talk about Isaiah Likely.
52:34So we're just in the same boat of there's a lot of these guys.
52:39I want my, I mean, they're starters. Yeah. The difference between like tight end four and tight end 24 is not that much.
52:47Not enough for you. All right. We'll take a break.
52:50We got one more team. You guys just got the inside scoop this weekend.
52:55Ever notice how life's best stories don't happen in your living room?
52:59They happen on the open road, out on the water, or parked under the stars.
53:04At Progressive, they get that you want to focus on the experience, not worry about the what-ifs.

53:25Prices vary based on how you buy. On the under $3 menu at McDonald's, a sausage burrito is $2.
53:32So dip, drizzle, or douse to your heart's desire.
53:35Because no matter how you sauce your sausage burrito, it's still just $2.
53:39Limited time only. Prices and participation may vary. Prices may be higher for delivery.
53:44Well, the Giants went 4-13 last year. That was under the 5.5 win total projected for them.
53:50They were 1-7 in one score games. Did anyone hit their projections?
53:54They all hit. Like, go over? Yeah, they all hit their under.
53:58Yeah, that's kind of how it felt. There was a little bit of, like, all the teams had the air let out of them.
54:06Yeah. But 1-7 in one score games cost Brian D'Abel his job.
54:10There were games. Honestly, it was like, could you figure out how to lose this game?
54:15And if you gave me that opportunity to try, I would have still won.
54:20But he lost those games. There were some crazy games last year.
54:24Yeah, I forgot about all those. He lost nine straight games after week six.
54:29And in week six, they had beaten Philly on Thursday night.
54:33Oh, that was the game, right? Yeah. That was the dart scat game.
54:37Yeah. Remembering that, right? Oh, it was a blowout.
54:40Where they took over the TV at the end.
54:43And it was like, you came into work on Friday like, holy crap, guys.
54:48It's happening. And we didn't get a long enough run.
54:51No. Neighbors, we didn't get to see him. He ran 11 routes with Jackson Dart before he suffered a season-ending ACL that has turned into a difficult recovery.
55:01The recovery of Cam Scadaboo seems to have gone well.
55:04Yeah. He's doing flips. Because when he went down, that was like, that was a tough one to see, a tough one to watch.
55:12It's one of those visually, you know immediately what has happened to that player.
55:17And it's disturbing. And it was such an emotional gut punch for the fantasy football world.
55:23John Harbaugh takes over. Replaces Brian Dable. The New York Giants.
55:26Then Mike Kafka is gone. Replaced by Matt Nagy.
55:29Oh, boy. Do you think Matt Nagy might have sucked the energy out of that room?
55:35Is that what happened? The budget magician had already performed, and there was just not enough energy left in that press conference or that team meeting?
55:44It's very possible. I don't understand how these coaches keep getting jobs.
55:48You want him to be an assistant or something?
55:51I still wouldn't, but at least okay. You really look at his body of work, and you're like, yeah, that's our OC.
55:58It's funny because in the offseason, Cliff Kingsbury was the Giants OC for about a minute.
56:04He was like, oh, it seemed like that was a done deal.
56:08Mike, you were so excited about it because you were a big believer in Jackson Dark.
56:13That's fantasy points right there. Absolutely. And then it went from Cliff Kingsbury's high-speed offense, high-passing volume offense to Matt Nagy.
56:20I mean, this is a weird situation because they're projected to win seven and a half, which puts, I mean, that would
56:28put Harbaugh in the, you know, if he beats that by a game or two.
56:33That's like coach of the year candidate for a team that's in a tough division.
56:38But they lose their target leader. Wondell Robinson's gone.
56:41They won't have a healthy Malik neighbors at full force for a while.
56:45Their wide receiver room is a comedic. I'll tell you, Darius Slayton gets no respect.
56:50Well, sorry, Jason. I was speaking about Darnell Mooney, Juju Smith-Schuster, Odell Beckham Jr., Calvin Austin, and Braxton Berrios.
56:57A bunch of, we've been on a bunch of teams.
57:00We've been there, done that. We hope, I mean, are they hoping they combine to catch 22 passes?
57:06Yeah, I mean, that's embarrassing. I'm hoping that it is more Darius Slayton and Malachi Fields kind of out with the old and in with the new.
57:15And Isaiah Likely. And Isaiah Likely, and then quickly, hopefully, Malik neighbors.
57:19The weapons will be there eventually, but it is tough sledding.
57:23Without neighbors, it really seems like they don't have the passing weapons to make it easy on themselves.
57:29Now, they can rely on Cam Scadaboo. They've got a really good backfield.
57:34You know, having Tyrone Tracy as a backup behind Cam Scadaboo is...
57:38On Singletary back behind them. Yeah, exactly. It's a deep core.
57:41This team has a great defense. Their defense, I think, can really surprise.
57:46You bring in a coach like Harbaugh, and I think you're going to have a team that starts the season winning ballgames
57:53by running, running with Jackson Dart, running with Cam Scadaboo, and figuring that out offensively enough while they stay close in games.
58:01For fantasy, I don't think we're going to love this offense until neighbors show up.
58:06I just think there's a lot of risk. Like, I know you guys are big Jackson Dart fans, and I know the
58:13numbers of the running totals in his limited starts are very, very good.
58:18I'm more concerned. But I'm concerned that you can't have...
58:21We can't have two things here. I'm concerned you can't have the reckless abandon that leads to fantasy points combined with durability
58:29that leads to being on the field. Yeah. For both guys, in a way.
58:33For him and Scad. For Dart, some of his numbers, especially if you're talking his success as a no-huddle quarterback, he's a top five.
58:41Putting up top five numbers in those. Plays out of a huddle, very, very bad.
58:47And Dart was afforded a lot of no-huddle last year.
58:50And you bring in Matt Nagy. Matt Nagy does not do no-huddle.
58:54So it's like, will they allow him to use that superpower?
58:58And it's like, well, why does that work? Because Dart is a...
59:02He's an athletic playmaker. You know, he can get better.
59:05He was a first-round quarterback. He can improve. But it's like, he's...
59:09The superpower last year was the play is broken down.
59:13It's not just sitting in the pocket and picking people apart.
59:16We're going to go streetball on people. And it was working.
59:20I mean, aside from the injuries. And the... I do want to mention about Isaiah Likely.
59:25Jason and I, boots on the ground. There was an interview with Jackson Dart recently at the Fanatics Fest.
59:32Brought to you by the Fantasy Footballers. I thought Schefter did that.
59:36So did he. And we asked Dart, you know, we're trying to...
59:40We're fishing for the information. You're trying to get him to start naming some players.
59:45What's intentionally not listing any players' names. Like, who's first?
59:49The first and only player listed was Isaiah Likely.
59:52However, the way it was said was, you know, we got Isaiah Likely.
59:56It was like he... There was a big pause in between the two names.
60:01Like, he didn't fully know his name yet. So, I don't know.
60:05I think he was just trying to be clear.
60:08I saw that clip. Oh, you felt like it was a...
60:12I thought he was just trying to... He realized he needed to be...
60:16People didn't know who Isaiah was. I just needed to be clear for the audience.
60:21Perhaps. Perhaps that is what happened. I think he had Isaiah in mind right away.
60:26But it's still... Yeah, there's still question marks. He was...
60:30Jackson Dart was the 32nd-ranked quarterback when under pressure in completion percentage.
60:34You know, that's something that they're going to need to do better.
60:38Their middle-of-the-pack offensive line needs to protect him. We know we're going to see a lot of two tight end sets.
60:45Bellinger and Likely probably on the field together. He did have a great rapport with Bellinger.
60:50I think... You mean Theo? Oh, Theo. I'm so sorry.
60:54Yes. Theo Johnson. I think Bellinger's still on the team too.
60:57But yes, Theo last year. I liked that connection between them.
61:01Yeah, I did too. I think Likely is the more explosive, fun player and will probably produce more fantasy points.
61:08But both are weapons for Dart. Like if you want to make the case that he's got enough to start the year
61:15before Neighbors, to me it's Likely and Theo complementing those guys and them being smart enough to have both those...
61:22I mean, two tight end sets when Malik is hurt makes all the more sense than anything else.
61:28Run the ball with Cam and see if you can survive with that defense.
61:33But I'm just not sure what the ride's going to be like with Jackson Dart.
61:38And I feel bad because I feel like he's the fun, exciting, sexy player to like.
61:43And I just have doubts. 100% is. He was, I mean, purely fantasy speaking, he was awesome.
61:49Once he took over as the starter, if you were like, I'm going to ride this out.
61:55Whenever he plays, I'll play him. He really had like two...
61:59I mean, the dud in week 16. He had a game where he scored exactly zero.
62:04Minnesota will get you. And he played 100% of snaps.
62:07But other, I mean, 20 points, 25, 22, 26, 27, 28, like those are, those aren't just good weeks.
62:14That's the, that's, that's my quarterback was better than yours.
62:17So he's, he's extremely exciting. The ADP I think makes total sense.
62:21What I'm seeing right now for redraft quarterback nine, because he is a player.
62:26He could, to me, like Jackson Dart, if Malik gets back sooner than we're expecting, Dart can finish as a top five quarterback for fantasy football.
62:35He has all of this stuff. Well, he's got Beckham and he's got Juju and he's, no, I'm just kidding.
62:42He has, but he, like him, the player, he has the stuff that we need for fantasy football.
62:48If we can get him some weapons, then things will go well.
62:52So it's going to be a tough, interesting start.
62:55I should say Dallas in week one, but at home, then the Rams in Los Angeles in week two.
63:01So that is, if I'm Malik, I might sit that one out, but then Tennessee, Arizona, Washington, New Orleans.
63:08So let me ask you this real quick, Jason, because I've seen it asked like the mock draft, all this stuff.
63:15How do you approach Malik neighbors today? That's the last question I'm going to ask on the Giants.
63:21But how do you, you're going, let's say you're drafting in two weeks.
63:25Mm-hmm. I'll say 12 team. How are you going to approach him?
63:29Yeah. I am approaching Malik neighbors with two truths.
63:32One is that I think he starts the year on the pup.
63:37And so I won't have him for the first four or maybe even five weeks of the season.
63:43I also think that he's going to be a star fantasy option at the end of this year.
63:49If he gets to, you know, 85, 90% of what he is capable of doing.
63:54You saw Wandale Robinson at 185 pounds get just murdered by Jackson Dart because he kept throwing 14 targets.
64:0013. It was like that was the guy that he was throwing to.
64:05And it was really good. I think, you know, that was 140 targets to Wandale Robinson.
64:10When Dart has neighbors on that field, he is going to give him every opportunity to succeed.
64:16I think he'll be a monster at the end of the year.
64:20Do you think fantasy playoffs Malik neighbors will talk about him?
64:24Yes. I think fantasy playoffs neighbors should be. So what round are we talking?
64:28Yes. Is that a fifth round pick? Is that a fourth round pick?
64:33In the fourth round is when I have started really looking at him.
64:37When he's there in the fourth round. I think that's when the entire league is going to start getting a little sweaty.
64:45What about no IR spot? At that point. Yeah.
64:48I mean, that's with no IR spot. At that point, I'm looking at my team and saying, okay, can I survive basically not having a wide receiver here?
64:57Do I have, you know, if I feel like I've got a real stud running back, a hero running back approach, and
65:05I started with two other good wide receivers, I feel like I could take that shot at neighbors in the fourth.
65:12Well, I think we need to pick this division.
65:15And I've got my names written down. It's not an easy one.
65:19What do you guys think? Writing it down. You want me to read mine?
65:24I've got mine. I've got my first and last, but I don't have me and my other two.
65:30Look, I'm going to do something that I'm taking.
65:33We're probably the same. It's Dallas. Dallas is winning.
65:36And then I'm going Philly. Yep. And then I'm going the Giants.
65:40Oh, okay. And then I'm going Washington. I went Washington, New York.
65:44But I got Dallas winning. I've got Philly, Dallas, New York, and then the Commanders.
65:49Okay. Well, that'll do it for today's episode. Saturday show.
