Aaron Rodgers

NegativeBust13:45

Mike Wright compares Aaron Rodgers to the movie 'Weekend at Bernie's,' suggesting he is effectively 'dead' as a fantasy asset and is only being propped up by the talent of DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveUsage25:05

Andy Holloway identifies Bijan Robinson as one of five running backs he projects to reach 350 touches this season, signaling a return of the 'bell cow' era in fantasy football.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

NegativeUsage87:11

Brenton Strange is noted as a factor in the Jacksonville offense, having been on pace for 85 targets last year, further crowding the target share.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeProjection86:43

The source questions the fantasy viability of Brian Thomas Jr. and Parker Washington, noting that with multiple receivers involved and Trevor Lawrence potentially not rushing for nine touchdowns, most Jacksonville players could disappoint.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection28:57

The source projects Caleb Williams to finish as a top-five fantasy quarterback in his rookie year, citing his development within the system, his ability to run the football, and the offensive scheme led by Ben Johnson.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveValue1066:40

The source suggests that Chase Brown is a preferred keeper option over Trey McBride in certain situations.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeInjury16:50

Jason Moore highlights the 49ers' recurring injury issues, noting that Christian McCaffrey dealt with tightness for three weeks during the preseason. Moore characterizes the 49ers as 'Final Destination' due to their consistent history of high games lost to injury.

Insight page
PositiveUsage25:08

Andy Holloway projects Christian McCaffrey to reach 350 touches this season, noting he exceeded 400 touches last year and lacks a significant threat to his workload.

Insight page
PositiveValue1000:36

When asked for a recommendation for the fourth overall pick, the source recommends Christian McCaffrey as the preferred choice if the user is looking to win, over wide receivers like Jamar Chase or JSN.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection28:53

The source predicts Colston Loveland will finish as a top-three tight end, noting he is crushing training camp and is expected to lead the team in receiving yards as a rookie.

Insight page
PositiveValue1083:30

The source indicates that Colston Loveland offers better value than Trey McBride for the upcoming season.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveProjection29:08

The source projects D'Andre Swift as a top-12 running back, citing the math of a high-scoring offense, receiving work, and sufficient carry volume.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveValue1001:42

The source identifies Jamar Chase as a top target at the fourth overall pick, preferring him over Puka Nacua.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveUsage25:05

Andy Holloway projects Jahmyr Gibbs to reach 350 touches this season, noting the increased reliance on elite running backs in modern NFL offenses.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveUsage25:14

Andy Holloway projects James Cook to reach 350 touches this season, arguing that the lack of quality depth behind him makes him a primary workhorse candidate.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveProjection27:23

Mike Wright predicts Joe Burrow will break the single-season passing yard and touchdown records in 2026. The argument relies on the Bengals' high-tempo, pass-heavy offense, Burrow's efficiency in the red zone, and the expectation that Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins remain healthy. Wright notes that in 2024, when those receivers were active, Burrow was on a 17-game pace for nearly 5,100 yards and 47 touchdowns. The team's weak defense, which Wright hopes remains bottom-10 in points allowed, should force Burrow to continue throwing.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveUsage25:05

Andy Holloway projects Jonathan Taylor to reach 350 touches this season, citing a lack of threatening competition behind him on the depth chart.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

NegativeBust39:05

The source advises against drafting Kimani Vidal at his RB9 ADP, arguing he is being drafted at his ceiling and that players like Chase Brown or Kenneth Walker III offer better value on more prolific offenses.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveProjection29:04

The source is bullish on Luther Burden, projecting a top-ten finish based on a projected 25% target share on 110 targets and his strong performance in the final three games of the previous season.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveBreakout90:53

The source predicts Marvin Harrison Jr. will be a top-15 fantasy wide receiver and lead Arizona in fantasy points, citing his talent and Mike LaFleur's play-calling ability to utilize big receivers.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeUsage86:43

The source notes that Jacoby Myers out-targeted Parker Washington 61-51 after the trade to Jacksonville, suggesting limited upside for Washington.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeInjury22:51

Jason Moore jokingly predicts that Rhamondre Stevenson will suffer an injury in the second quarter of Week 2, allowing Antonio Gibson to take over the backfield role permanently.

Insight page
PositiveProjection27:41

The source declares Rhamondre Stevenson a 'running back one' for the upcoming season, noting that the team is committed to him as the lead back and beat reporters confirm he is ahead on the depth chart.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveProjection29:12

The source projects Rome Odunze as a top-20 wide receiver, noting he led the team in first-read target share before his foot injury last season.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

NegativeRole86:56

While not currently playable for fantasy, Travis Hunter is expected to be on the field and command targets and touchdowns, which could negatively impact the fantasy value of other Jacksonville receivers.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeProjection51:15

The source predicts major regression for Trevor Lawrence, specifically highlighting that his nine rushing touchdowns from last season—four of which were red-zone scrambles—are not repeatable.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeProjection1066:40

While acknowledging Trey McBride's talent, the source expresses skepticism that he will repeat his dominant performance from last year, though he is still expected to be a top-three tight end.

Insight page

Zamir White

NegativeBust38:26

The source warns against drafting Zamir White at his current RB7 ADP, citing a difficult schedule, the Raiders' projected low win total, and the fact that he is being drafted at his ceiling.

2:59It's a bold predictions episode. So prepare yourself. There's some things that are spicy.
3:05Spicy. Yeah. But we also didn't say it was nasty.
3:09I just said it was spicy. Usually bold predictions are pretty nasty.
3:13Bro, you are sweaty. I know what I jumped off a stage.
3:18It's like four feet high. Let me let me just tell you backstage.
3:23We were like coming out here taking a look at everything.
3:28We're like, are you going to jump off? And he's like, I'm 44 years old.
3:34There's no way I'm jumping off of the stage.
3:37But then I saw the people. Yeah. Overwhelmed. So after the show, we're also I mean, the people here at the Van Buren have been amazing.
3:48Is this venue awesome or what? Seriously. And they've given us some extra time.
3:54So we want to give you some extra. Show the sweaty man.
3:58What are you talking about? I got your towel if you need it, bro.
4:04No, this one's pretty big. It's going to be all right.
4:08Like I've just used each tower of it so far.
4:12We're going to hang out after for a little AMA extra action for the people here in the building.
4:20And we got some surprises up our sleeve as well.
4:24So it's going to be awesome. We need your help a couple times tonight.
4:30Yes. When the show starts, I need my people to help welcome in everybody to the podcast.
4:37Well, let me ask. Number one. You know what?
4:40I mean, you know what the welcome in sounds like.
4:44Papa Josh. What? Oh, security. Oh, I thought security.
4:48There's an inebriated person who needs to be removed from the premises.
4:53Papa Josh. Is that a joke? Do you understand you made that man's life just now?
4:59Disgusting. He was paid. We all know the welcome in.
5:03It's not officially football time. Whoa. But it is.
5:07Whoa. Are we doing a football time? No, but it's a lot.
5:12Did you get booze? I'm saying it is like when it's live.
5:16It's football time. Okay. All right. It's football time.
5:20And then we're going to do a spectacular live mailbag and we all want you in on that as well.
5:28A live AMA after the podcast. And if you got pictures and stuff, make sure you tag us on X and put
5:37the hashtag Megalist show if you can spell it.
5:41But are you guys ready for a show? Hey, shout out to Al Borland in the back.
5:47He's going to get us started. Oh, yes. What's up, Oakland?
5:52He is. He is riddled with illness and here today to put on the greatest show you've ever seen.
5:59Hit it, Al. Let's do it. To the fantasy footballers podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
6:08Let's do it. Welcome in one and all the Megalist show.
6:12The heart rate is up. We're here in Phoenix, Arizona.
6:16Football is less than two weeks away. There are games going on right this minute.
6:22I feel like a hummingbird right now. We have alerted the team that if suddenly some bit of news happens, they're going
6:31to let us know and then I'll tell you that Joe Burrow retired.
6:36Is Andrew Luck back? So we did this show in 2019 almost on this exact date.
6:43Andrew Luck retired moments before we took the stage.
6:46It blew up the entire plan. And that would be the same as Burrow retiring today.
6:53You shut your mouth. But he didn't do it because Mike wouldn't be here.
6:58That would cause extra problems for today's show. So we are.
7:03We're excited. We've got a great quick question. We're going to get into.
7:08We got bold predictions, which are spicy. We got mailbag here live in Phoenix at the Van Buren.
7:15All of your questions, people here in the building have sent in their questions.
7:21We're going to answer them. But let's let's kick it off.
7:25Hold on. Matt. Oh, no, Matt. Are you back there?
7:29Yeah. No, that's not actually bad. What is that back there?
7:34Yeah, you get the state that like the stage.
7:37It looks sort of complete. Do you have something for me?
7:42Oh, no. Can you find that for me real quick?
7:46What is happening? Like we got the helmets on it.
7:50We're live. What is this? I mean, as long as he remembered the bit.
7:56Oh, you trusted Matt. He's behind you. Oh, my God.
8:00Oh, you know. Did you know about this, Jason?
8:03Of course not. I would never have allowed this.
8:07Did you know that a super duper champ was with you guys?
8:12I'll just hold it. Put the thing down. I'll just hold it.
8:16Because I am a super duper champ. League of record.
8:20Ballers dynasty. Oh, my. Look at that. Never been done before.
8:25Never will be done before unless. Well, I might do it again.
8:30Well, I might do it again. This is why we play right?
8:35The people love the year of Mike. They sure did last year.
8:39Yeah, it's over. It's got to be over. People love a sequel to a great movie.
8:46Sequels are almost never better. And that's the truth.
8:49I'll jump right to last crusade if I have to.
8:53Yeah. Well, listen. Now you Matt. Now you put me in a bad mood, Mike.
8:59This thing. I didn't want to remember this. Um, today's quick question.
9:04You ready, Mike? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sponsored by PetSmart.
9:08Here's what I got for you. It's your job to compare a player or team.
9:14To a blockbuster movie. This is what we always do on the live show.
9:20So we've all selected one that we feel like fits the mold for 2026.
9:25And I'm going to kick it off. I'm excited for yours.
9:30Uh, the San Francisco 49ers. We got any 49er fans here?
9:34Yeah. I like it. Thank you. Thank you for booing them.
9:38The San Francisco 49ers are final destination. Yes, they are.
9:43Every single year. They think they have cheated death.
9:46And then death is like, see you at training camp.
9:50I mean, listen to this from 2013 to 2021.
9:54They have averaged the highest games lost to injury in the NFL.
9:59That's weird. They were number one in 2024 top five last year.
10:03I mean, their medical tent has a medical tent, a little or one inside of it.
10:10And they've lost Pierce. All they've lost. I mean, Kittle's coming back from injury.
10:15McCaffrey had tightness for three weeks. Well, you leave.
10:19You leave. Sweet, sweet. Well, we hope they're fine.
10:23You could bring up Mike Evans, Mike Evans and the meat is meat.
10:28His meat injuries. Jason is a medical expert. I have diagnosed poor meat.
10:33So manager special, right? Yeah. Did you know that's your medical?
10:38My professional medical opinion is unfortunately at this age, poor, poor meat, poor.
10:43Your meat is poor. That's why they tune in.
10:46Oh, did you know use check out a broken finger to just like his little bonus?
10:53Oh, how dare you? Juice is fine. They face the Cardinals Seahawks Rams and then Pacific Gas and Electric in the division.
11:02The substation is out of control. I don't know how Christian McCaffrey escaped it, but everybody out there say a prayer for
11:11this team for your draft picks coming up because the 49ers are absolutely final destination.
11:17It's pretty much inevitable. I mean, I don't know how it keeps happening.
11:22All right. I'm going to go next here. I'm going to compare a situation to a movie.
11:29Matt Nagy. Oh, is this the postman? Is that the whole thing?
11:33I'm done. Matt Nagy is. Boo. Matt Nagy is.
11:37Fight Club. He's the movie. But my. Yes. Voice of public opinion.
11:42Fight Club's a really good movie. It is a really good movie.
11:47Let me tell you, the first rule of Matt Nagy's offense is you don't ask Matt Nagy about his offense.
11:55And here's what's going to happen. After weeks of trying to identify the lunatic who's sabotaging the Giants off acting offense climaxing with Jackson Dart being split into.
12:06Oh, like Marty from not another teen movie. That joke is for like six people out in the crowd.
12:14But they love it. Matt Nagy will eventually turn to the footage and he will see the man who has made the horrible call on third down.
12:25He is Tyler Durden. No, it is me. It is Matt Nagy.
12:29Second lowest motion rate of any play caller since 2021.
12:33Third lowest play action drop back since 2021. This guy sucks.
12:38I feel like in some ways that would be like the greatest thing to happen if he actually realized that he's the
12:47problem at the end of the story. Yeah, but it started punching himself.
12:52Like that'd be great. Here's the problem. You haven't seen the end of fight club where the season just ends that he
13:01is Tyler Durden and he just watches the entire Giants franchise.
13:05He's the scariest. Crumble and explode. It really is the scariest part.
13:10Look at that. Look at that guy up there.
13:14That guy sucks. Some people shouldn't have jobs and Matt Nagy and Matt here should not.
13:20All right. Wait, did Matt the Falcon just. Yeah, Matt the Falcon.
13:25He's bringing out championship belts and he's doing a poor job.
13:29I mean, come on. All right. Thank you. Thank you for my comp.
13:34It's pretty simple. I mean, pretty simple. I was like, well, this is too obvious.
13:40Everyone should know this. Aaron Rodgers is weakened at Bernie's.
13:45Okay, he's dead. All right. If you're not familiar with weakening Bernie's.
13:49It's like it's two guys just holding up a dead guy for the whole movie.
13:55He's already dead. He's already dead. You got you got DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman doing some heavy lifting.
14:03I watched the film on Rodgers. Sorry, but it is over.
14:07Put the sunglasses on. He thinks he looks super cool in that.
14:12Oh, he does look this the best he can look get on their shoulders.
14:18You're dead. That's it. Boom. Wow. That's going to be an interesting Steelers fans in the building.
14:25Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
14:29Hold on. Hold on. I messed that up. Hold on.
14:33Steelers fans who are also Rodgers fans. There we go.
14:37There was one guy. The other ones were Packers fans.
14:41I know that for a fact. The Venn diagram is strong.
14:45It's one person. Yeah. Yeah. There's 800 people. That is his brother-in-law.
14:50Oh, no. He's not a fan of Rodgers. That was the quick question of the day presented by PetSmart.
14:58Visit your local PetSmart store. Go to PetSmart.com today.
15:01PetSmart. Anything for pets. Yeah. You guys ready for some bold predictions?
15:06Let's go, Jer. Ridiculously bold predictions. You do like Tyler Shuck a little too much.
15:12Sounds like the people like him a little more than Aaron Rodgers.
15:17And I don't check the tape, but traditionally on this show, I think we reveal a couple of bold predictions each and they've all pretty much been right.
15:28Let's go Jets. Other than maybe that one. Listen, Mike.
15:32That was maybe on this show the Jets were brought out once before.
15:37Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't remember it. Remember when he had the American flag?
15:44And he was like, we ride. That was right before they were going to win the Super Bowl.
15:51So, and we know Gino. Yeah, I mean, that could have been your prediction.
15:56But Mike, why don't you reveal your first bold prediction for tonight for the people?
16:02I'm going to start it off. This one, look.
16:06We'll see if they believe. We give you our bold predictions.
16:10Sometimes they're positive. Sometimes they're negative. I'm starting with the positive.
16:15What a guy. And if you've been following the podcast for the off season, there is a team I am very bullish on.
16:24And no, it's not the Saints. I mean, it is, but not.
16:29It's not the Cardinals, dude. What are you talking about?
16:33It's the Cincinnati Bengals because this year. How do we have Bengals fans here?
16:39That's kind of weird. But listen, listen, listen. Strong opinions.
16:43This year, Joe Burrell breaks the single season passing yard record.
16:47Oh. And a passing touchdowns record, baby. Oh, my.
16:51QB1. QB1. Listen. I'm intrigued. And I would like to see if you can make an effective argument.
16:58Well said. Yeah, you see, I got that word right.
17:02Sometimes I just have PTSD when you're talking. So Peyton Manning, the 2013, he's the current record holder who he threw for 5,477 passing yards.
17:12And how many touchdowns? 55! That was convenient. I mean, he did it.
17:17That was a good year. And Burrell's best passing number so far, 2024.
17:22Just a couple years ago, just shy of 5,000.
17:26So 4,918 yards, 43 passing yards. What would it take for Joe Burrell to break the record?
17:33Well, in that year, in 2024, when Joe Burrell had both Jamar and Tee Higgins, a.k.a.
17:39Me Higgins. Thank you, Jason. Are you guys awake?
17:43We're recording a fantasy football podcast. Let's have some fun.
17:47In those games, when he had those guys healthy, which I'm saying, you know, 50% more snaps of both of those players.
17:56His 17 game pace, just under 5,100 yards and 47 passing touchdowns.
18:01It's you're like, whoa, that's that's still way far away from the record.
18:06Except it's not. Except it's not. We need him to get like 27 passing yards per game more than what he already did in 2024.
18:16It's a little bit. It's just a little tiny guy.
18:20It's just a little tiny guy. Look, rushing touchdowns.
18:24That's not what the Cincinnati Bengals are going to be about.
18:28We don't have Joe Mixon stealing touchdowns away from our precious Joe, Joe Burrell.
18:34We got Chase Brown absolutely dominating and being an absolute reception threat.
18:38But there's way there's the likelihood of Chase Brown catching a touchdown versus ruining things for us for Joe Burrell and getting the rushing touchdown.
18:48It's just so much higher. Here's what we need.
18:52Chase Higgins. OK, this sounds pretty bold. That sounded like one human.
18:57Yeah. Like you're saying Jason Higgins, not the guy, Chase Higgins.
19:01No, no, no. I'm just I'm running into Jason Higgins are healthy the entire season.
19:07Oh, that's step one. That's a new bold prediction.
19:11Bold prediction. T Higgins plays 17 games of football this year.
19:15Can we get can we get one on Joe Burrow as well?
19:20Because that's pretty good. Look, we just need them to remain up tempo and pass heavy.
19:27They were second in seconds per play as in they play very fast.
19:32Second in pass rate. Joe Burrow or chances. Joe Burrow continues to crush inside the red zone.
19:39He was second in red zone touchdown percent last year.
19:43And we need that defense. Oh, we need that defense.
19:47Lindberger. We need that. Dang. They don't have a good defense.
19:51We need them to remain bottom 10. Look, that Broncos team with Peyton Manning.
19:57They were 22nd in points per game allowed. I think that the Cincinnati Bengals can achieve that goal.
20:04If they put their minds together and work to Mike's and their best effort, I think they could be 22nd in points per game allowed.
20:14Like it's crazy. But I think that Joe, I have a small question here.
20:20It's just a curiosity. All right. You held up that amazing trophy and you said some things about yourself.
20:27Oh, you're talking about the super duper champ? Yeah, that one.
20:32The never. I just been done. I'm just thinking through this in my head.
20:37I'm like, who is like your dynasty team quarterback and wide receiver?
20:42And like, do you have like a reason to have this prediction?
20:47Well, it's funny. You should ask. I have Jared Goff.
20:51Uh huh. And enjoy. Joe. Joe Burrow. Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase might be on my dynasty team.
20:58But look. Oh, chill. Oh, yeah, I gotcha. Bruh.
21:02We've had a lot of random things yelled at us.
21:06But, but a brand of chili. Okay. Better than Papa Josh.
21:10The bangles are favored. The Cincinnati bangles. Before a snap of football has happened are favored in 15 of their 17 games.
21:19That's more than the lions looking ahead. Their lines have the second highest average game total of anyone just behind the Dallas Cowboys.
21:28Joe Burrow could absolutely break the passing yards record.
21:32Maybe pass for you. Yeah, for me or you not just for me for everyone in this crowd.
21:39Okay, it's bold Mike. We accept it. The touchdown part is pretty ridiculous.
21:45I know I would all be pretty happy. Well, I would I don't think Andy and I would be happy because of
21:53your stack, but the rest I'm going to be honest.
21:57I hope it doesn't come true. All right. But let me tell you a bold prediction that is going to come true because I know it.
22:08That's good reason. Yeah. That's why. Amit. You would marry Steinberger there.
22:13Guys. The bell cow is back. Okay. Hey, boom.
22:16Bang. Whoa. Wait, Jason. Jason. What is this? What is this?
22:21Number one? What is this? He's playing. Okay. Okay.
22:24This is not. This is. This is just. I applaud you.
22:29This are disgusting. I applaud you. What a good decision.
22:33Boo. Okay. Well, for those listening at home, they have.
22:37They have hoodwinked me and they've stolen the back wall graphic.
22:41Okay. And it says that Ramondre Stevenson is going to be the number one running back.
22:48They fixed it. They fixed it. Listen, Ramondre Stevenson is not a bell cow.
22:53He's a cow. That's it. Oh, he's a cow.
22:57All right. A big fat cow. All right. I have a new bold prediction.
23:03A new one. My bold prediction. One point B.
23:06I'll get back to the bell cow. But here's the truth.
23:11Ramondre Stevenson is getting injured in the second quarter of week two and Henderson does not give the job back.
23:19That. How's that for a bold prediction? You heard it here.
23:23Quarter two of week two. We never really. He's done.
23:27Okay. Tanya Harding. Take it easy. Yeah, I will make it happen.
23:32Calm down. You did this to me. This is ridiculous.
23:36All right. You see, maybe a little rattle. We're a positive show.
23:41What are you? Look, you're going to you're going to hijack it from me.
23:46You go get the business. All right. Here's what I'm actually saying though.
23:52The bell cow is back. It's been a long time since like the early two thousands when the NFL was all about
24:00bell cow running backs guys getting 350 touches. It doesn't happen that much anymore.
24:06Two years ago. There were none. And wait, to be clear fantasy managers miss it.
24:12We do miss it. And I think we see what's going on in our average draft.
24:18We're going to be in the draft position right now with the fact that the bell cow is back, but I don't
24:27think we've caught up to what that means over the last decade.
24:32Their average is two running backs a year that touched the ball 350 times.
24:38That's it. This year, there will be five running backs more than double the decade average that I'm going to tell you which ones.
24:47Yeah, so you just keep listening. You just keep listening sister.
24:52Yeah, I want you to spirit. There's five. There's five next bolt for the.
24:57Andy, you're up. As long as they're none of Mike's here are the five that will do it.
25:05B. John Robinson check Jonathan Taylor check Jameer Gibbs.
25:08Of course. Yeah. Christian McCaffrey. Yeah. Check. Yeah. Over 400 last year and James Cook.
25:14The third will do it. Okay. Here's what we need.
25:18James Cook. You went full the third. They didn't want.
25:22He didn't want him to make a mistake. Like the second or the first.
25:28It's not daddy James Cook. It's it's the current running back for the Buffalo Bills.
25:34Who is the third. You need talented backs in the NFL and with the arrival of B.
25:41John and Gibbs with the the health of guys like Jonathan Taylor Christian McCaffrey.
25:47It should happen. But if you look at the average draft position in drafts right now, like those middle round running backs,
25:55it's like, well, I don't really love them. And part of the reason you don't love them is because the backups aren't
26:04that good anymore for some of these great running backs.
26:08I am not afraid of Brian Robinson, Jr. For being or not.
26:13How did that work for Christian McCaffrey last year?
26:17Like he didn't see that. I don't know how that worked for Christian McCaffrey.
26:22Yeah, pretty good. It's like one permanent victory. DJ Giddens and Seth McGowan for Jonathan Taylor.
26:29Not happening. Isaiah Pacheco in your bra. Not happening.
26:32Caleb Black and Jordan James like this. You're just making up names.
26:37I know. I know. Ty Johnson and an injured Ray Davis.
26:42Like none of these guys are going to touch the ball on these teams compared to the running back.
26:49So I think the takeaway advice on this piece of truth is that you really do want to grab one or if
26:58you can grab two of these guys in your draft or via trade, I think you're going to be set up this
27:07year because wide receivers carry the teams. They will carry the teams where the bell cow is going to be back.
27:15And we see this in the NFL, right? The pendulum always swings.
27:20The wide receivers get faster, get downfield more. So then it's two shell and it's smaller, quicker defenders.
27:27Well, now it's like, well, how do we deal with smaller, quicker defenders?
27:33Let's get the running back to smash them in the face.
27:37That's where we're at. The bell cow is back.
27:41The bell cow is back. And Ramondre running back one.
27:45Guys, dude, I've stopped sweating. It took this long, but I'm done, baby.
27:50No more sweat. Shout out to the Van Buren.
27:54Dude, your AC is awesome. We have done a lot of live shows and he's never stopped sweating.
28:01Best air conditioning we've had. So you ready for this?
28:05I know there are people in this building that are ready for this.
28:10I don't know the people are ready for this.
28:14The Bears. Oh, no. The Bears break out. Okay.
28:17Okay. What does that mean? By the way, Chicago, I know you've spent 100 years trying to discover the forward pass.
28:26I probably should have seen the Bears. He's down there in the shadows.
28:31Give it up for Jay Griss. He's hiding. The Chicago Bears haven't been good since Martin Van Buren was in office.
28:39Yes. No, the Bears, the pass has not been their forte.
28:44But I think this year they become good all at once.
28:48Everyone on the Bears. And let me tell you what that means.
28:53That means Loveland top three. Oh. That means Caleb, my guy.
28:57Top five in fantasy. That means burden. I know you like some burden over there.
29:04Top ten. Top ten, Luther Burden. Top ten, Luther Burden.
29:08Swift, top 12. Yeah. Rome, top 20. Oh, come on, man.
29:12You could go. Top 15. But I'm going to make the case real quick for all those guys.
29:19Top 50, Jason. Calm down. Top 50 for Rome.
29:23Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got it. But also if he's top 15 and if all those.
29:29No, I said 50. No one. No one's saying that except for you.
29:34And I won't stop. But here's the case for the Bears fans who have waited their entire lives for moments like this.
29:43It is the bold prediction today. Caleb, I think he's mostly all the way there in year one with Ben Johnson.
29:52He was just under 20 fantasy points a game.
29:55Yeah. What I like to see was he got better as the season got on.
30:01He learned the system. He got things going. There's a reason he was the my guy.
30:08I made all those cases on the show this week.
30:12But the fact that the completion percentage was down.
30:15That's not really corollary to future fantasy success the next year predictive.
30:20He runs the football. I think he gets there.
30:24Year one is hey, learn the thing. Year two is Ben Johnson's like let's do some cool crap now.
30:32So I think you're going to see it. That's that's how he says it.
30:37That is the quote. He loves cool crap. So Caleb, I think we can get there.
30:44Loveland top three probably not the boldest of the prediction.
30:48That's about the easiest thing you've ever said. But you I mean, you mentioned this the other day.
30:55First rookie to lead the team in receiving yards since 1983.
30:59Dick, I think was the last one to do it.
31:03Mike. So I think Loveland can get there. He's crushing camp again.
31:08Ben Johnson loves him. We're good. So let's get more bold burden.
31:13Top ten. Top ten. Do we have Luther burden on any teams yet?
31:18Oh, man. There's a row of guys just arm crossed like no, I don't know.
31:24No, I would know. I never will know probably Packers fans.
31:29Ben Johnson's own own words. I mean, we've quoted it.
31:33I'm buying Luther burden stock right now. I'm calling that inside.
31:37Andy, I thought these were bold prediction. I well for you.
31:41They might not be going to happen, but that's insider trading to me.
31:47Ben Johnson knows what's going on. 25% target share on 110 targets.
31:52I think he can get there. No more DJ more.
31:56He's in Buffalo. And last three games, we saw Luther burden 18 for two 89 and three.
32:02I think he can get there. Swift. I mean, even Mike is saying good things about the Andre Swift this year.
32:11That's crazy. But to me, it's just math. It's like a math equation for sure.
32:17Yeah, that's what it is. It seems like that's what it is for you too.
32:23But it's like good offense scoring opportunities, receiving work, enough carries the math checks out.
32:29And then the last one Rome in the top 20.
32:33Jason, you'll be happy to hear this. He did lead the team in first read target share.
32:40I know that's the entire problem. Was that was the foot.
32:44That's it. He was hurt. It was the foot.
32:48It was injury. It was, you know, you started hot.
32:52Then Jason traded for him and ruined a season, which is what he did last time.
32:58Like my journey. But and I'll give you the Ben Johnson quote again because we like it.
33:05Whether it's hyperbolic or prophetic TBD. I want to have the highest scoring offense ever.
33:11Yes. And then he quoted the 2013 Denver Broncos who scored 37.9 points a game, which by the way, had the Peyton Manning with the touchdown.
33:22He wants to surpass them. By the way, that year Peyton was number one.
33:27No Sean Moreno. Shout out to the giant tier.
33:31Oh, yeah. The RB for that year. Demarius Thomas was the wide receiver one.
33:36Decker was a wide receiver nine. Welker was 20.
33:40They had three in the top 20 that year.
33:44And Julius Thomas fantasy legend beast was the tight end three.
33:48So I'm bought in the Bears breakout in 2026.
33:52All right. Wait, I think that was Jake. Let's go Indiana.
33:56I think that was Jake. The Indiana Bears are breaking out.
34:01They needed to get out of Chicago. The Hammond Bears.
34:05Hammond Bears. Thank you to PetSmart for sponsoring today's episode.

36:44All right. I've got one for everybody. We like ourselves some year two running backs, don't we?
36:51I do. Yeah. No. Yeah, this is not all agreed upon.
36:55Everybody does. The promised ones. The year two running backs disappoints in a major way.
37:01Boo this man! Boo! Boo! Boo! Boo! Boo! Your boos fuel me.
37:06Makes me feel better about myself. Gentee, Hampton, Scadaboo, Judkins, and my sweet sweet sweet Travion Henderson.
37:13Boo! Boo! That's fine. You can hate all you want.
37:17Hate all the way to the bank. Yeah. Where there will be no money left because the running backs are going to disappoint you at their ADP.
37:28How does that make you feel, Jason? Yeah, Jason, talk to me about this.
37:33I think some of these are correct. I think you are painting with a really, really big brush that makes no sense.
37:42Hampton's going to crush. Top broad, it's big. But, you know, Gentee scares the tar out of me right now.
37:50All right. Look, here's why this is a bold prediction.
37:54Year two running backs, it's normally a great bet.
37:58But here's the- So far I'm not convinced. End of story.
38:02Look, in fantasy, these are the things we want.
38:06We want opportunity. We want someone who's at the top of the depth chart, the offensive system, the trends, the team's success.
38:15But what do they have to do to actually pay off for their draft cost?
38:21Ashton, Gentee, going still as the running back seven, despite- Owie, owie, owie, owie, owie.
38:27Owie, please shut down practice. Everyone take a knee.
38:30It's me, Ashton Gentee. The Paul Pierce. I might have popped my pants.
38:36Oh, I twisted my ankle. Get up, you baby.
38:39I got one guy on my side. Look, injury aside, he's being drafted at his ceiling.
38:46The rough- we've been over the schedule. It's terrible.
38:49The Raiders are currently favored in three of 17 games.
38:53For the running back seven in the early second.
38:57We did this last year, everybody. Didn't work out.
39:00Hampton. Yeah. The hot Hampton. The hot Hampton. Hot Hampton of cheese.
39:05Stop into a New York deli, buy yourselves a hot Hampton.
39:10It's delicious. It does sound like a sandwich. It really does.
39:14And look, I'm just- I'm the lowest. Because it's the Chargers.
39:19It's already happening. The center. He's out. For not one moment this offseason have we got this man to believe in.
39:27No. Justin Herbert and Mike McDaniels. And I want y'all to remember that.
39:32You know what I mean? Yes. He's going as the running back nine.
39:37Just behind the genti. Like, he's being drafted at his ceiling.
39:42Meanwhile, Chase Brown. Ken Bone Walker being drafted after Hampton.
39:46Guys on truly prolific offenses that we know- I mean, you just heard Joe Burrow's gonna break the record for everything.
39:54So why would you not want Chase Brown? Cam Scadaboo.
39:58Matt Nagy. Need I say more for this man?
40:02That's the end of the argument. Quinn Sean Judkins.
40:06On the Ice and Fire episode, he was my not-fire pick.
40:10Because, look, the offensive line, it's in shambles. You like your Cleveland starting quarterback, everybody?
40:16You like him? Too bad he's gonna start for ya!
40:20Enjoy that one, suckers! Mike is just attacking. Because they're like- these are bold.
40:26But this is the one, like, I went into my rankings and I looked at players versus ADP and I went, oh,
40:35I know what I have to do. I have to crap on these guys.
40:40Henderson. The ADP is terrifying. Henderson, of these players, is actually- he's great.
40:45He's a really, really good player. Except, Mike Vrabel, king of making really, really good decisions with his personal life.
40:53Oh, get bodied! Yes. This is like when the politician- I'm not saying you're wrong.
40:59I'm just saying you gotta put the- you know, you're putting the dirt on it.
41:06He's already in the green. You're telling me you can't just do like a- a visit to Sedona?
41:13Don't- don't even- With your best friend? Don't even go down the road.
41:18Interlock fingers? Yeah! Nothing going on there. But anyways, look.
41:22Even I understand what's going on in New England.
41:26They like Ramondre. They're gonna go to him. You hear that, Jason?
41:30Dude. The beat reporters, they're very clear. Ramondre is ahead on the depth chart.
41:36Until week two! Until week two? Oh, yeah- That's right.
41:40Until week two. Technically, until week three. It would be until week three.
41:45No, you don't predict injury. That is fucking don't.
41:49Babe Ruth in this thing, I'm calling my shot.
41:53Right there, baby, week two. No, Jason, you have to point me.
41:57Yeah, I guess it's more like down there. But here's the thing.
42:02Tonya Harding. Is second-year running backs, it's supposed to replenish things for fantasy football, and every single one of them is being
42:11drafted extremely high because they should be. I'm just super scared that all of them are going to disappoint us for fantasy football.
42:20Boo. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The thing is, we all have, you know.
42:25I hope your boos are ready. There's positive, bold predictions, and there's negative, bold predictions.
42:31They both are important for fantasy football, so I don't blame you in saying that, and I see some of what you're saying.
42:40My only issue really is Hampton because I love him.
42:44Also, I would like to bring up something, Mr.
42:48Wright. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We are in the middle of a chopped draft on Sleeper, and with your first round pick.
42:56Chopped! With your first round pick, you selected Amari and Hampton!
43:01You liar! Yes! Liar! Liar! Liar! Liar! Liar! Liar!
43:05All right, okay. On to the next. I have a much more important prediction.
43:10I can't hear you. Oh, you can't? Well, then listen to this bold prediction.
43:16I predict that one of us will be enshrined in the Fantasy Footballers Hall of Fame tonight!
43:23No! What? No, no, no! This is my bit!
43:26Thanks! Ladies and gentlemen, for years, the semi-prestigious Fantasy Footballers Ring of Honor has recognized only those bold enough, those slightly above
43:35average enough, and those shameless enough to induct themselves.
43:39But tonight, the bar must be raised. After an exhaustive selection process, conducted entirely by a committee of one, only one man
43:48has been deemed worthy of an honor greater than all those that came before him.
43:54His lifetime achievements are far too extensive to list here this evening, and largely irrelevant to this decision.
44:01Tonight, the Fantasy Footballers Hall of Fame is proud to welcome a husband, a father, a friend, and now, a Hall of Famer!
44:10Ladies and gentlemen, please join us in celebrating as Jason Moore presents...
44:15Jason Moore! Jason Moore presents Jason Moore! Congratulations, Jason!
44:18Jason Moore? The newest inductee to the Fantasy Footballers Hall of Fame?
44:23Wait, Jason is removing the tarp. Is that... Oh!
44:27Somebody grab that man a microphone. Oh! Okay. Guys, I am blown away.
44:32This is... This is a crazy honor I couldn't have seen coming.
44:37Oh, thank you. Thank you. I do. You are a snake.
44:41Um, so... I'm... I'm... I'm not really prepared for this.
44:45Andy, did you know this was happening? I had no idea.
44:50I'm not really prepared for this. Excuse me. Uh, all right.
44:54Speech, speech, speech, speech, speech. I hate this. I hate...
44:58I hate all of this. Okay, first of all...
45:02Oh, gosh. I... No, no, no. I'd like to thank Andy and Mike, with whom I couldn't be here.
45:10I really mean it, guys. Okay. You're a big part of this.
45:14Okay. And I hope... Thank you. ...that one day you both are able to join me in the Fantasy Footballers Hall of Fame.
45:24Hey, you have my vote. Wait, is this better than the Ring of Honor?
45:29It is better than the Ring of Honor. It's so much better.
45:34It's a step above Ring of Honor, which you are the only entry in.
45:40All right. I'm two times. I'm two times. I'd like to thank my family, who has my heart and soul, and are here to support me today.
45:51Oh. What is happening? I couldn't do this without you.
45:55I'm especially glad that my children are here for the first time, so I can embarrass them by saying something like, see,
46:03I told you your dad was famous. What is happening?
46:07And finally, I'd like to thank the Foot Clan, the undefeated, incomparable, beautiful, funny, sexy, strong, intelligent, emotionally available, financially solvent, perfectly
46:16hydrated, high-credits-scored, and suspiciously fertile Foot Clan. Somehow, despite all of that, you're still willing and wanting to watch us three middle-aged
46:25dads argue about fantasy football like our lives depend on it.
46:30Foot Clan, this fake honor is for you! There's lights in everything?
46:34Okay. Okay. Okay. Where do we go from here?
46:38Okay. He's got a jacket. He has a bust.
46:42That was unbearable. Okay, so I've got to give a little bit more context here.
46:48Okay. Two days ago. What? Two days ago. No, everybody on our team has been in on this like six months.
46:56Not everybody. No, not these guys! Two days ago, a really dumb NFL owner did what started this whole thing, and he
47:05decided to induct himself into his Hall of Fame.
47:09You don't even know how close I was to getting it a third time.
47:14You don't know because Andy had the idea, and he went to Jeremy, and he said, hey, I want to induct myself into the Hall of Fame.
47:25I was doing this on the Monday show, man.
47:29And everybody was- I was doing it. Everybody in that bullpen who knew this bit was happening was like, oh, no.
47:37And Jeremy's like, oh. Is that why he wasn't quite as excited for it as I thought?
47:44Because he was scared out of his mind that you were going to wreck it.
47:50Ha-ha! But I'm the first! Woo! All right. Back to the bowl predictions.
47:55Oh, my God. I hope you start sweating from that jacket.
48:00I was earlier thinking, gosh, I got to put on a jacket later.
48:05Oh, my gosh. Andy, we have so many people to fire.
48:09I know. I know. I'm building the list. All right.
48:13What just happened? Yeah. Yeah. He's got to- No, like, people, like- Mike is laid out.
48:20I did not know this was happening. All you had- You just have honor.
48:25Yeah, you just- Yeah, you just- You just have some honor.
48:30He has fame. A little ring of honor. I'm a Hall of Famer.
48:35Anyways, as the first- How do you get back to the show from that?
48:41Well, we go with the Hall of Famers bowl prediction, of course.
48:45I have nothing to hold up or wear. Here, you can hold on to this.
48:51You're going to love it. No. No. As the first Hall of Famer, I'd like my first bowl prediction to be one of my classics.
49:01Oftentimes, at live events, I have called the Fantasy Trap Team, the team that- I hate you.
49:08Yeah. Yes. That has done poorly. All the way back to 2016, the Carolina Panthers, the Washington Redskins.
49:16The next year, both of those teams collapsed. You predict the demise, fantasy-wise, for certain teams- Yes.
49:22The way I can predict the demise of most of our employees after this event.
49:28Exactly. Really good. The Cleveland Browns- Profits are up!
49:32Remember when Baker and OBJ as the Browns were the hotness?
49:36Yeah, yeah. That was my bust team that year.
49:40Oh, with Landry and that year? The 2022 Dallas Cowboys, the hotness.
49:45Zeke didn't finish as a top 15 running back.
49:49Dak got injured as bad. Now, I also did predict the 2018 Patriots, and they won the Super Bowl.
49:56Yeah, you said it was the beginning of the end.
50:00And they won the Super Bowl. So, here's what I'm saying.
50:05Either I'm right, or they're going to win the Super Bowl.
50:09Or you're wrong. Yes. Yes. It's pretty binary. And my fantasy trap team this year is the Jacksonville Joy Killers.
50:17You're not going to like it. You're not going to like it.
50:22But listen, I'm a Hall of Famer. You can't touch me now.
50:27Where did you get that jacket? I don't want to know the answer to any of those questions.
50:34You're going to like the way I looked. Because we paid.
50:38Mike. I guarantee it. There's no way men's warehouse did that jacket.
50:43Mike, you know we paid for that jacket. No, no, no.
50:48I did pay for this. Oh, personally. Oh, yeah.
50:51Okay. It's better. Yeah. So, here's the thing. The Jacksonville Jaguars are a really exciting, fun, hot offense.
50:58Liam Cohen. Give me the Liam Cohen drop. Oh.
51:02I did hit it a couple times. Yeah, there you go.
51:07Yeah, by the way, it worked. They're very, very exciting.
51:11You know, Trevor Lawrence. Everything goes to him. So, let's start there.
51:15Trevor Lawrence. I've talked about this. He's in line for some major, major regression.
51:21He's a horse boy. Way to take it down from joy and excitement.
51:26Dude, nothing can take it down from me. I don't know what you're talking about.
51:32I feel great. He had nine rushing touchdowns last year.
51:36Four of those were the results of red zone scrambles, the most in the NFL.
51:42For context, Lamar Jackson hasn't done that in the last four years.
51:47Like, that is not repeatable. So, if you take his rushing touchdowns away, you look at the backs, the hotness.
51:55Baseball tootin. Everybody wants him. He's being drafted as, like, you know, a back-end RB, too, because a good offense.
52:03What's the conversation between Parker Washington and Brian Thomas Jr.?
52:07Which one? Which one? How about maybe neither? Do you realize that Jacoby Myers out-targeted Parker Washington 61-51 after the trade to Jacksonville?
52:16He's still there. Oh, and then you've got Travis Hunter, who, while he himself is not playable for fantasy, he's going to be on the field.
52:27He's going to have targets. He's going to have touchdowns.
52:31Those will come at the expense. And don't forget Brenton Strange, who was on pace for 85 targets last year.
52:39If Trevor Lawrence Horseboy does not rush for nine touchdowns, and all of these good wide receivers are involved, there is a
52:48very good chance that pretty much everybody on this team disappoints.
52:52And I know that, you know, Mike, you like Tootin the way that I like Hampton.
52:59I'm not even listening to you. But the truth is, Crod is very possibly a goal linebacker.
53:06LeQuint Allen might be a passing downs back. And I just think that this team could actually be good, could work for the NFL offense.
53:16And I think there is a solid to really good chance that every single pick, you're just not happy to play week in and week out.
53:26That sucks. Yeah. Because Jacksonville should be awesome. Jacksonville should be awesome.
53:31But there is a chance that there's just too many cooks in the kitchen.
53:36But what I'm saying is I think they can be awesome, and those players can be bad for fantasy at the same time.
53:46It's been an interesting hype ride for Tootin all offseason.
53:50The up and down and all around. Mike, you were all the way in.
53:55It seemed like a my guy was on the way.
53:59Yeah. And you softened a little bit. Yeah. Jason, you're dumb.
54:04He's not recovering. Please address me as Hall of Famer Jason Moore.
54:09I'm rules are rules, Mike. People don't understand. I'm not doing a bit.
54:14We had zero clue. I'm so mad about this.
54:17He's so mad. You want to hear one more on the positive side?
54:23Yeah, we got one more. I think it's positive.
54:26We're in Arizona. Uh-oh. Things are tough out here.
54:30Uh-oh. Things are tough out here in the streets of Arizona for this team.
54:36And I am here today on this beautiful evening to tell you what shouldn't be a statement that is bold at all
54:44and yet feels like the most bold take of all time.
54:49It feels like the most bold take of this day.
54:53Marvin Harrison Jr. is finally good. He's good. He's good.
54:57He's good at football. He's going to be good.
55:00Top 15 fantasy wide receiver. Leads Arizona in fantasy points.
55:05And the entire state of Arizona collectively. Did you say top 15?
55:09Top 15. Oh. The whole state of Arizona unclenches their butt cheeks because he's good.
55:15It's happening this year. And I want everybody in the building to remember this moment.
55:21And if you've listened to the show the entire offseason, you know we have no interest in saying something good about this team.
55:31We hate this team most often. They're not a serious organization.
55:35We want to love, but we can't become vulnerable because we know what the outcome is going to be.
55:43That might be true. It doesn't matter. You don't have to win.
55:48That's not the game that we play. They have the worst schedule I've ever seen in my entire life.
55:550 and 11 seems guaranteed. But Marvin Harrison Jr.
55:59this year for fantasy, finally good. Here's the story of Maserati Marv, all right?
56:0462 for 8, 85 and 8 as a rookie.
56:08It wasn't bad for a rookie season. It's really not that bad.
56:13Last year, absolutely weird. Played 12 games, went 41 for 6-0-8 and 4.
56:18These numbers through two years are not the worst NFL numbers you've ever seen.
56:24They are absolutely horrific for a fourth overall pick, generational prospect, son of Marvin Harrison.
56:30Those are the worst numbers. That that type of person, that his son could be putting up.
56:37But here's what was weird about last year. You had a concussion.
56:41You had appendicitis. You had a foot injury. You had a quarterback change.
56:47You had a coaching change. And at some point, that is not a season.
56:52That is a game of Oregon Trail. That is a season riddled with dysentery.
56:58Your season was ruined. They tried to fjord. They tried to fjord the river.
57:03Oh, never tried to fjord. You lost three oxen.
57:07You made me say fjord. And guess what? Seventh round pick.
57:12Seventh round pick for Marvin Harrison Jr. In games where he was actually healthy with Jacoby, this is where you gotta let the burns go.
57:22You can't carry last season into this year, into your draft.
57:268.8 targets per game for Marvin Harrison. 14.4 PPR points per game.
57:31And whenever he gets seven or more targets, he's been at nearly 17 fancy points a game.
57:38And what happened when Wilson, McBride, and Harrison were together?
57:42I know it was brief. I know it was a moment in time.
57:47He led the team in target share. Ahead of Trey McBride.
57:51Like, I think the thing out there is... Disgusting.
57:55The expectations were so unconscionably high. And for good reason.
57:59You should not go number four and be at this point in your career without breaking records and being great for fans.
58:08You still can't handle his jacket, can you? What about this?
58:12I love him. You're handsome. Where did you even get that, Etsy?
58:17You guys did pay for that. We did pay for that one.
58:22Yeah, yeah, yeah. That one you did. Yeah, he bought the jacket.
58:27I bought the jacket. I wasn't telling a lot.
58:30I had a feeling we paid for something. We paid in a lot of ways.
58:36But to close it out, I think Marvin Harrison Jr.
58:40will actually be good. And a final point there.
58:44Mike LaFleur in Arizona. Great play caller. And what he did with Devontae Adams, with the Rams, 14 touchdowns in 14 games.
58:53He can use a big, talented goal line receiver.
58:56If you're in drafts coming up this weekend and next weekend, the price is nice for Marvin Harrison Jr.
59:04He is going to be actually, mercifully, incredibly wonderfully, finally good.
59:09Marvin Harrison Jr. He's going to be okay. So those are our bold predictions.
59:14But that doesn't mean the show's over because we have 800-foot clan in the building.
59:20We have a mailbag drop about to happen. And y'all got to help us out with this.
59:27We have your questions coming up. I want to hear the greatest mailbag we've heard for any live show we've ever done.
59:36In honor of Hall of Famer, Hall of Famer, Jason Moore.
59:40Are you guys ready? Yeah, let's go, 99. Let's do it.
59:45Hit it, Jeremy. Mailbag. That was a good one.
59:48That was very good. That was very good. I feel like you were on tone and everything.
59:55We got the recliner people stood up. Today's mailbag is sponsored by our friends who helped put on this show, GMC.
60:04We've got questions from each and every one of you out there.
60:08Thank you to everybody that sent them in. We picked some out.
60:13If I say your name and you want to shout and not lie about it, that's cool.
60:20But our first question comes in from Earl Snyder.
60:24Is Earl somewhere in the building? No. Earl. Was that Earl?
60:28That's not Earl Snyder. Earl. He says this. He says, Can you give my friend Nick a recommendation for the fourth pick
60:37in a draft we have on Sunday? He's a big fan.
60:41We're here in Phoenix for his bachelor party. Okay.
60:45Nice. Okay. Congratulations, friend of Earl. That's a good bachelor party.
60:49I think this is – so obviously you're going to go B.
60:54John and Gibbs are usually gone. So now it comes down to – and I'm curious Mike's take as Mr.
61:02CMC over the last little bit. Right, right. I would go Jamar Chase, and if he's gone I'd go JSN.
61:10But would you take – So no Puka there for you?
61:15Right now – Well, I'm nervous. I would take the other two over Puka.
61:20McCaffrey doesn't bite people. Well, neither does Jamar Chase and JSN.
61:25Jamar's not going to be there. No, no, no.
61:28But, I mean, it's at four. So if someone takes JSN ahead or Puka ahead, I would take Jamar Chase.
61:36But assuming he's gone, it would be JSN for me.
61:40What if you don't want to take a wide receiver?
61:45Because it seems like those are the next guys up.
61:49So is it CMC? Is it Jonathan Taylor? Is it James Cook who you said is going to get 350-plus opportunities?
61:57To be fair, I said all three of them would.
62:01Yeah. Oh, that's true. They are all in that group.
62:05No, you're not playing for fifth place. You're trying to win.
62:09So I would take Christian McCaffrey. Okay. All right.
62:13We appreciate that question. Lara Oven? Lara Oven? Oven?
62:17Lara Oven? It's spelled Oven. It does. It's Lara Oven.
62:21She wants to know, do your wives play fantasy football?
62:25No. And would you ever play in a league with them?
62:29We tried once. And what would happen if they beat you?
62:34Woo! Man, Lara Oven, you're funny. I had one year where I was able to get my wife to do a league.
62:42About week three. They are in the building somewhere.
62:46Our wives are in the building. Give it up for our wives, everybody.
62:51Yes. Hello. Thank you. Thank you. They let us chase this ridiculous dream, but they do not participate in it.
62:59Someone is now married to a Hall of Famer.
63:03Congratulations. Congratulations. That's a pretty big deal. Oh, my goodness.
63:07It's probably the best thing that's ever happened to her.
63:11Yeah. Yeah. We did give it a go. We had a wives league that was going on for all of us season.
63:20Yeah. They don't play. This is, if my calculations are correct, the fourth fantasy footballers my wife has ever heard.
63:28Oh, like episodes? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Out of 1,960.
63:31So, were they all four live? Were all four of them live?
63:36Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you for that one.
63:40Tom Wintermeyer. Tom, you sound like a girl. And that's fine, you know?
63:45Yeah. But I'm just calling out to see it.
63:49I've been told I laugh like a girl. You do, and that's fine.
63:54I just, you know, let you know. So, keeper question in the building here.
64:00Am I crazy to keep Tray McBride over the aforementioned Chase Brown?
64:04No, that's not crazy at all. That's not crazy.
64:08I would still take Chase Brown in that situation, but it's not crazy.
64:13Yeah, I completely. I feel like you, of all people this year, have not been one to go back to the Tray McBride.
64:22Like, you just think what happened last year with the amount of Jacoby Brissett on pace for 700 passes in a year.
64:31It's just, it's what made McBride great. No, no, no, no, no.
64:36That's not what made McBride great. Like, average players put in that situation can't do that.
64:43You have to be a great player. When the situation reveals itself to you, you have to be great to actually take
64:51the mantle and accept the call like Tray McBride did.
64:55I just don't think that he's going to, I don't think he'll lap the field like he did.
65:03He'll still be, he'll be a top three. But you, you think the value on Loveland's better?
65:10Yes. Yeah. All right. It's Mr. Loveland. Mr. Loveland.
65:13Mr. Loveland. Andy Painter sent in this question. Okay, I might believe that that's him.
65:19That's my man. Is it fair to have somebody else draft your team in a money league?
65:26My buddy wants me to fill in for him after I drafted for another guy in his league last year.
65:34What is this like a pro ball? Like every year he's getting hired to do this.
65:40Whoa. Why are people booing this? That's so weird that that's emotional for people.
65:46It really is. To me, I don't have a problem with it.
65:51Like, honestly. Really? Well, here's the thing. If you, let's say you can't be at a draft, right?
65:58I can't make it to the draft. We would usually say you need a proxy.
66:04You either submit rankings or you have someone fill in for you.
66:09So if we're okay with it, then. I think the weird thing is that he drafted for somebody else in the same league last year.
66:19Maybe not a neutral opinion. Well, he can't draft for both this year.
66:24No, but. Or can he? Or can he? I mean.
66:28I don't have a problem with it. Do you guys?
66:32Obviously, the audience has a huge problem with it.
66:36What do we think? Like, I'm a man of the people.
66:40So, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That sucks. Coward. What a terrible thing.
66:45Team auto draft. All right. Andy Painter, you dog.
66:49Savage. People are just yelling out, like, league formats and auto draft.
66:54Redraft. Yeah, some guy's like, chili. Cameron Rodriguez. My son, Cruz, is 10 years old.
67:00Hey. Starting to show interest in fantasy football. Yes.
67:03I'd really like it to become something we share together.
67:07That's awesome. That's great. What's the best way to introduce him into fantasy without overwhelming him?
67:14Would crush him. Kick his butt. Would you give him his own team, co-manage one together, start a small family league, something else?
67:23What do you think? Other than crush him. Yes, yes.
67:27Maybe something more constructive. Look, you can't give him the win.
67:31We know that. But I think the small family league is, I like that one.
67:37I like it. I think co-manager is awesome. Yeah.
67:41The thing with the family league is you have to have enough people to do it.
67:48So if you have other parents with other kids who are starting to get interested in football and in fantasy football, I
67:56think that's a fantastic way to go. Otherwise, the co-manage is fantastic.
68:01Andy, you co-managed with one of your boys. Yeah.
68:05He comes to me to our League of Record draft, and he was one of the Sharks back here, by the way.
68:14Yes, he was. I was. His problem was the first league he was in with a bunch of people, he won it.
68:22Oh, so he's hooked. Everything has been downhill since then.
68:27So set your expectations. The only other piece of advice I would say is if he's starting to get into it, you know, there's sometimes a learning curve.
68:38If you're just starting, you don't know the players, you don't know everything.
68:43So either they play Madden or they listen to the fantasy footballers podcast.
68:48Oh, that's not a bad idea. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
68:52The only podcast with one Ring of Honor member and one Hall of Fame member on it.
68:59Sir? Two times. One, sir. Yeah, thank you, Mike.
69:02Two times. You elected yourself twice? Yes, he did.
69:06I almost wiped my memory of that. I didn't.
69:10By the way, I mean, I think both of your inductions, while ridiculous and stupid, were fair because Arthur Blank did it and then Lurie did it.
69:20Yeah. And now I'm going to have to wait for another owner to put themselves in their own Hall of Fame.
69:29Mm-hmm. Jason, imagine not being in the Ring of Honor.
69:33I know, my man. Yeah. Jerry Jones will hook me up.
69:37I'll be in before you know it. Yes. Zach Feltz writes in.
69:42Zach? Zach? Yeah. Zach. It feels like there's been more emphasis lately on stacking a wide receiver with the quarterback.
69:50Is stacking something we should be targeting in redraft or is it more of a tournament strategy?
69:57So, it is definitely more of a tournament strategy.
70:01When you're in big tournaments, you really need to win in the final week.
70:06It's very valuable to have the wide receiver that caught two touchdowns that week.
70:12The quarterback obviously went nuclear and you can beat massive amounts of people.
70:17It is also a winning strategy in redraft leagues.
70:21We did a study a couple years ago. One of our DeSorbos, our computer nerds, did it to try to see, like, does it also apply to redraft?
70:32And when he looked at basically having a stack that was relevant.
70:37What is happening? Where is everybody going? I don't know what is happening.
70:42Having a stack that is relevant versus... Is there a party?
70:46...versus an average. Oh, are we laughing at the...
70:50There's so many things to laugh about right now.
70:54It's so handful. Bro, your bronze bust needs braces.
70:57Oh, yeah, a little bit. But it does give a slight edge to wins versus losses because, again, in order to win
71:06each week, like, if you're just scoring an average slightly above league average, that doesn't actually usually give you a W.
71:15You kind of need the variance where you have a high weekly score, and that happens more on stack.
71:22By the way, Al Borland just informed us. Yes.
71:26Is Cruz... Cruz... Cruz Rodriguez. The tenure on from the last question, are they in the building?
71:33Because Al has a special Foot Clan ring for you.
71:37You can see him after the show if he's in the building.
71:41Wait, wait. Cameron, did you make up Cruz just to get your question in here?
71:48Cameron, you don't have a son, do you? Shame on you.
71:52Asking for my son. There you go. So, Turner writing in.
71:56Turner Morris. Come on! What is happening? Oh, there we go.
72:01People don't want the attention. He forgot who he was.
72:05Who am I? Have you ever individually wondered what you would be doing currently if podcasting wasn't possible?
72:12Best job? Different entrepreneurship? Bull riding, Mike? Bull riding, probably not.
72:16Probably not. You get motion sick? Maybe. That's the biggest problem.
72:21With bull riding, it's motion sick. If you have motion sickness, how does bull riding work?
72:27Not well. Not good. Not well. No. I think Andy and I would still be doing real estate, which we did for about two weeks.
72:37Yeah. We literally tried to become real estate agents while we started the podcast.
72:43We would have crushed. And that was a great two houses we sold.
72:48Yeah. We did do it. Mike would be a musician somewhere.
72:53A rock star. I'd probably just have a sign that's like, please.
72:57Help me. Money, please. Money, please. So, yeah. I mean, I think.
73:02It's a grift. I think the coolest thing is that we were like, like when we were kids, we couldn't have like
73:11wanted to grow up and be podcasting. No. Because that didn't exist.
73:16So like, I think about it with my kids.
73:20Some careers exist in the future that don't exist now that they might be good at.
73:26And that stuff changes quick. So I'm glad I don't have to think about this.
73:32We've been fortunate. No. We're here with these people.
73:36These fine, beautiful human beings. That was today's mailbag brought to you by GMC.
73:41We are professional grade. Like I said, we're going to hang out.
73:46The Van Buren has been kind enough to give us some extra time.
73:51At the end. Yes. We're going to get pumped up here in a minute.
73:57But at the, we're going to come back out here.
74:01We're going to pass around microphones. You can ask us anything you want.
74:06We're going to do a little AMA for 15, 20 minutes to give you some bonus time here.
74:13You monsters. Let's keep it clean. Yeah. I'm a little more scared now than I was at the beginning of the show.
74:22But I want to hear it. I want to hear it for Sirius XM.
74:28Thank you. For helping us put this live show together.
74:32We wouldn't be here if it weren't for them.
74:36I want to hear it for GMC and Pat Smart for helping us put on this live show.
74:43I want to hear it for Al Borland. Yeah.
74:46The crew. Literally the best. But the entire crew.
74:50Papa Josh. Papa Josh. The whole crew is here.
74:54Almost all of them. And an applause for yourself.
74:57Yes. The Foot Clan. The people. We're going to give out some more free stuff.
75:03We're going to take a two second break. And we'll be back out here for the AMA.
75:10Woo! Thank you guys. And that's the end. Thank you for listening to another edition of the Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
