0:00Bryce Young right now is he's got 12.9
0:03EPA per game. That would have led the
0:05league last year. Now, it's only
0:07quarterback five this year cuz the small
0:10sample, you know, some guys run really
0:11hot, but still I mean he's he's had a
0:13great start to the season. He's
0:15quarterback 19 in success rate, so not
0:17as strong there, but but not bad. Um and
0:21you know, he's going against this Browns
0:22team that was was quite poor week one on
0:25defense and then Baker Mayfield
0:28kind of the bed against last week
0:29with the 10th percentile mark in success
0:31rate and 11th percentile in EPA per
0:32play. So, a little unclear of of, you
0:35know, how difficult of a match-up this
0:37is. They were like total pushover in
0:39week one. Trevor Lawrence is 99th
0:41percentile in in both metrics and then
0:43they were great in week two.
0:45Um but Bryce Young has been really good
0:47in in both weeks. Um He's faced the
0:50Bears and you know, and he kind of had
0:52to pass in that game and then he faced
0:54the Falcons. So, he's had a pretty soft
0:56defensive schedule here. Uh and then
0:58gets a match-up that's again, it's
1:01uncertain exactly how difficult it is.
1:03They're probably fairly middling defense
1:05I would I would guess, but what are your
1:06thoughts on how this sets up for the
1:08Panthers?
1:09>> Yeah, I ended up being super intrigued
1:11by the the this element of the game. I
1:14mean, one, Bryce Young like you don't
1:16want to like fault him too much for the
1:17schedule because like he still never
1:18punched above schedule like this in the
1:20past.
1:21>> Right.
1:22>> The Panthers I at least would love to
1:24believe they're doing what I believe is
1:26optimal. I mean, that you pick up the
1:27fifth-year option on this guy. You
1:29hand-held him for four years.
1:31>> Yeah.
1:31>> And you got to find out like if he's
1:34like a dude you want to invest in your
1:35franchise moving forward and they have
1:38thrown the ball a lot these first two
1:40games uh especially over expectation.
1:42Even in the the Bears game like you you
1:44knew they were going to chase points but
1:45last dude, they were dusting the Falcons
1:47and still throwing the ball around
1:49>> 4% pass rate over expected last week and
1:518% mark on first and 10. So, they were
1:53they were like legit aggressive against
1:55the Falcon.
1:56>> And he has two guys from a talent
1:58perspective we believe in. We believe in
1:59Ty Montgomery as a as a prospect and a
2:02player and we believe in Jalen Coker as
2:03a player.
2:04>> And you added like a big body that at
2:06least can come in situationally in
2:08Darren Waller in the red zone and you
2:10give him some trees. You give the little
2:11man some trees.
2:13Uh and you you know, you're you're
2:15willing to throw the ball.
2:16>> Good player teammates. You're not You're
2:18not smoking them up, you know, that's
2:20not advocating for playing high.
