0:00Uh, and seems to be going well. Jaylen
0:02Waddle
0:03uh, in Denver. Sean Payton's been saying
0:06some nice things.
0:07>> Sean Payton has been saying
0:10some really nice things about Jaylen
0:12Waddle. On July 29th,
0:15they they asked uh, Payton, they they
0:17said, "Listen, you're a coach who likes
0:19big receivers. So, what stuck out about
0:22Jaylen Waddle's film that made you want
0:25to trade for him?"
0:26And Payton said, "There are certain
0:28prototypes per position,
0:30and then there's that one where if they
0:32can walk on water,
0:34and he's one of those guys relative to
0:36how he runs, how he stops, his
0:39competitive instincts, there is a clear
0:41vision
0:43for him,
0:44and this is something that Payton has
0:46said throughout this off season about
0:49this clear vision that they have for
0:50him. Obviously, they traded so much
0:52draft capital uh, capital to bring him
0:55in.
0:56And uh, they also he also said in in in
1:00a presser on July 31st how there's two
1:03ways to separate. You can run faster
1:05than everyone, and Jaylen Waddle has
1:08real good speed, and then you can stop
1:11fast, and Jaylen is able to match speed
1:14and then sink his hips. That is unique.
1:16He forces a cushion, and then
1:18immediately has separation. So, this is
1:20the guy who separates in
1:23multiple ways.
1:25>> Yeah.
1:25>> And I
1:27I think it's so clear
1:29that Jaylen Waddle is going to be the
1:32focal point
1:34of this Broncos offense. We've seen what
1:36Sean Payton has done with guys who are
1:39kind of in in
1:41playing, you know, slot role for him. We
1:45we saw all the Michael Thomas like slant
1:46boy stuff. Payton last year, I remember
1:49him talking about
1:51how ideally he wants his offense to kind
1:55of flow through this triangle in the
1:57middle of the field where it's the
1:59running back, it's the slot receiver,
2:02maybe you have like a joker tight end,
2:04or whatever, but
2:06man, like every
2:08single
2:09signal
2:11points to Jaylen Waddle
2:13just being a smash. I mean, when a when
2:16a coach is comparing a guy to Jesus,
2:19like
2:20>> Seems [laughter] bullish.
2:22>> Yeah.
2:24Yeah.
2:25>> I mean, Waddle's been a guy that has
2:27been steadily moving up.
2:29I've yet to hear anyone in the industry
2:30actually make an anti-Waddle take. It's
2:32like us versus people who just don't
2:34like to draft him, I guess, because you
2:36know, his ADP was so much lower to
2:38start, and I I really haven't heard
2:41>> We got him at 60.
2:43>> him.
2:43>> in a draft
2:44>> Yeah, 60, yeah.
2:45>> a month or a month or two ago.
2:47>> Yeah, it's crazy.
2:49I Is that right? Did we really get him
2:51at 60? Wow. That makes no sense.
