0:00Welcome to the Legendary Upside podcast and YouTube channel. My name is Pat Grain. You follow all of my content at legendary upside.com. With me today,
0:08Rich Reebar for our angles and upside podcast after we took the Thanksgiving week off. We're back for week 14.
0:15Reeves, how's it going?
0:16>> It's going good. You know, we took a pretty good week off. We didn't just like take it off. We just couldn't make
0:20the schedules work out. But, uh, it it wasn't the lowest scoring fantasy week of the season last week. So, we didn't
0:27miss a whole lot. It was It's one of those where my lineup stunk and I got all my money back anyway.
0:34>> Yeah. I mean, uh, the Millie shipped I think with just a little over 200 points, which is which is pretty rare.
0:40Uh, >> no, who I work at RG do stuff like he was I think won 50,000 with a Cam with Cam Ward like
0:49>> Okay, he's that kind of slate. If you can win with Cam Ward, it's low scoring.
0:53>> Yeah. all the the top five scoring receivers of the week all played on Thanksgiving or or Friday or Friday. So,
0:58it was like >> we kind of knew that though. Like the games on Thanksgiving were so good.
1:02We're like this is this is gonna >> there's not that many good football games of the week and we got three of
1:08them on Thanksgiving. So, >> they loaded it up for us and then when we got to Sunday, >> Yeah.
1:12>> paid smart. I think that's the way to go. Put all the g good games on Thanksgiving.
1:16>> Uh that's like that's the the one Sunday you're not as glued. Uh anyway, so >> hopefully we get we get back on track
1:23for some points though because this is like championship week in FFBC, the last week of the regular season for like best
1:30baseball and manage leagues. So hopefully it's a high scoring weekend.
1:34At least there's some shootouts. Last night's game got there in the end, even though there was a couple duds in terms
1:39of player.
1:39>> I have a couple 555 teams on the bubble and both have actually three on the bubble, but two have Gibbs.
1:47Nice. And one one of them's one's across the line that I'm not counting was on the bubble. Although I was looking at
1:52how many buys I have and I'm like this might be on the bubble, but that one didn't have Gibbs, but there's two where
1:57I'm like, "Oh man, I might be able to get a couple in." So, um that I wasn't expecting to. Anyway, the uh yeah, Gibbs
2:04has been such a monster. But there's going to be some scoring at least, let's hope, at the top of the slate. We're
2:11kicking off with Bengals Bills. This is the one game I think we can count on for um you know point scoring on both sides,
2:19teams to push each other. Uh as we'll get to on the Bills side, I think you really do want a team pushing the Bills
2:26um given the way they've been playing.
2:29The Bengals side's a little bit more interesting because I know like we kind of know who the Bengals are. They're a
2:36very pass first team, but Joe Burrow's just getting back from injury and the Bills are the biggest runf funnel in the
2:43league. Teams are averaging just a 56% pass rate against them with a minus 8% proe and a 5% shift to the run.
2:52Basically, like the Bills turn their opponents pretty close to the Seahawks.
2:56Um, this is Seahawks have like a 51% pass rate, so not quite there, but Seahawks only have a minus 7% pass rate
3:01of expected. So the average Bills opponent has a lower proe than the Seahawks do on on their average game. So this is a massive massive run. The Bills
3:10are terrible against the run. They're 30th in DVOA, 30th in EPA, 25th in success rate.
3:15However, the Bengals aren't really built around the run. They're built around Joe Burrow now that he's healthy. T Higgins will play in this game. Jamar Chase is
3:23has been, you know, really, really good this year and had a good bounceback game last week. So, what are your thoughts on
3:29how the Bengals attack this matchup?
3:32>> Yeah, in my heart of hearts, I think just the Bengals are who they are. Uh they they want to throw the football and
3:38they'll probably, you know, run this thing through Burrow and and they can always do like the extension of the short passing game stuff, too,
3:44especially with, you know, Jamar Chase uh gets, you know, a lot of that like slot work still and underneath stuff, too. So, I still think they're going to
3:52be pretty pass heavy. I mean, Burrow came right back and dropped back 49 times last week, which was, you know, the the second highest amount of drop
4:01backs last week. They were just a little bit over passion. I think they were 3% over. Um, and they knocked the rust off
4:07immediately. Like the first half, he was pretty bad in that game. Uh, he's 15 to 32 in the first half. 32 first pass pass
4:14attempts. Uh, in the second half when they controlled the game a little better, he was he he was more efficient.
4:18Nine of 14, was just under seven yards per pass attempt. Um he had the real nice throw to Yoshvas the touchdown.
4:25That was like the best throw that we saw from him of the night. Um and then kind of like back into some backend QB1
4:31performance. And then you know we're going to have this game have some juice.
4:34We've only we haven't seen them face Shawn McDermott since that AFC. It was a divisional game uh a couple years ago in
4:41the in the snow and cold. It's supposed to be cold again. We might get some snow. He scored over 20 fantasy points
4:46in both games against Shawn McDermott, too. I think that's kind of where he is.
4:49And then the other big impact here is that Joey Bosa is probably not gonna play.
4:53>> I think he's ruled out or he's supposed to be he will be if he hasn't been.
4:57Yeah. Yeah.
4:58>> And the Bills have faced 113 drop backs this year with Bosa um uh not on the field. They go from sixth in pressure
5:06rate to 16th >> uh with him off field and then they go to 27th in completion rate and 31st in yards for pass temp. Now, that's 100
5:14drop backs sprinkled over like the course of the season of him coming off versus like out for a whole game, but he
5:20has been uh you know, their best pass rusher. So, it at least gives another avenue in terms of like adding another
5:26layer for upside for the Bengals to have success uh because their offensive line needs it obviously.
5:33>> Yeah. I mean, it's it's it's really important because of the Bengals offensive line, which is really bad. um their pressure rate and stuff doesn't
5:40even tell the whole story in terms of how bad their offensive line is because uh Joe Flacco's just been getting the
5:46ball out so quickly when he was the starter. So, they're seventh best in preventing pressure, but they're 24th in preventing quick pressure and they
5:53ranked 28th in pass rush, pass block win rate. So, this is a a pretty weak offensive line that's like changing the
6:01style of quarterback play behind it.
6:03But, I think Burrow is more likely to to try and make plays. So, not having Bosa out there is a really big deal. And he's
6:10he's been like the key to the to like an okay pass rush for the Bills. Bills are 14th in quick pressure rate, 14th in
6:16pressure rate, 28th in pass rush win rate. So, this isn't like an amazing pass rush. Boss is sixth in PFF's pass
6:22rush grades >> um among edge players. Actually, among edge and defensive tackle players, he's sixth. Um they have Daquin Jones at
6:3238th, Greg Rouso at 44th, Deion Walker at 50th. So there's like other dudes who can like make a little bit of an impact,
6:38but Bosa was a differencemaker >> and he won't be playing. So that's a pretty big deal. Um the other thing is
6:45that like the Bills have been a huge runfunnel and their run defense stinks and their pass defense gets kind of held up as
6:54pretty good. And so it's like, all right, well, and if you give most teams that option, you get a weak run defense,
7:02pretty decent pass defense, they'll run on you. Now, when you're also like, hey, we get to keep Josh Allen off the field. And also, they're
7:09not using Josh Allen for some reason.
7:11So, it's like, we don't have to score 40 to win here. We don't even have to score 30. You know, we can we can score 24
7:18points and beat the Bills, which multiple teams have done this year, which is crazy to me, but >> yeah, >> they have. So, um, if if the Bills are
7:27going to allow you to do that, then it makes sense to run. But it does have me wondering if maybe we're overrating the
7:32pass defense, especially with Joey Bosa out. And you look at who they've played.
7:37This is Lamar Jackson, Justin Fields, to a tongue, Spencer Rattler, Drake May was efficient against them as was Jackson in week one. Michael Pennix was pretty
7:46efficient, 55th percentile in EPA per play. Andy Dalton was not. Patrick Mahomes had that that dud of a game that we all watched and and was a bummer and
7:55probably sticking in our minds a little bit. To a tongue of Aloa was 89th percentile in eer play against him.
8:00Baker Mayfield 49th during a pretty rough stretch of play for for Baker Mayfield. Wasn't terrible. Then Davis Mills and Aaron Rogers.
8:09>> So like who have they shut down that's actually good? Mahomes is kind of and Mahomes you know wasn't completely shut
8:16down. He's definitely disappointed, but Jackson, May, Tua, all very strong against this defense. I'm not sure we should be worried about the Bills pass
8:24defense, and I'm not sure that the Bengals will be worried about this pass defense. I I agree with you. I think
8:30they attack like they always attack.
8:32Their identity is built around the pass.
8:34They might not be like super high pass rate over expected, but I don't think they're going to be low.
8:40>> And I think the expected pass rate could be pretty high for them because their defense stinks. And the Bills, I think
8:45even if they are run heavy, will put up plenty of points this week. So I I think Burrow is the engine of this offense. Um
8:52and we'll be treated that way this week.
8:55And uh Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, I think set up pretty well here. I'm excited about both guys. I'm treating Higgins as
9:02a wide receiver one even coming off the injury. Uh Jamar Chase obviously is an elite wide receiver one. Um I don't have
9:09a lot of interest in the tight ends uh this week. Gasiki had 30% rap participation last week. Uh, sorry, Gassiki was at 40.
9:18>> Yeah, Fant was at 30. Hudson's still in the mix. Yeah, I'm I'm pretty out on the tight ends. I'm not that interested in
9:22like Yoshi Boss or anything. Um, any any thoughts on the kind of ancillary pieces?
9:29>> Yeah. And T. Higgins playing is big because well, we we haven't seen like this this full offense basically in a
9:35complete game since week one. But remember last year like Burrow had pretty massive splits last year with and without T. Higgins. uh when he missed
9:42time. I mean, he he completed 73% of his passes, 8.2 yards of pass attempt, 7.2% touchdown rate with Higgins on the
9:50field, and that was 441 dropbacks. He had he also had a pretty large sample because Higgins, you know, did his Higgins thing last year at the beginning
9:56of the year. He missed 280 drop backs, and he went down to 66.9% completion rate, 7 and a half yards, uh or 6 and a
10:04half yards for pass him. So, it's a 1.7 yards for passing difference, and went down to a 5.6% touchdown rate. So, 1.6%
10:106% difference, too. So, and Chase had also way better splits with Teiggins and all that stuff tracks, right? Like, you get a good player on the field, it
10:18raises all tides, >> but I I think with Higgins specifically, >> it allow like Jamar Chase is so good. He can do everything. But if you need Jamar
10:28Chase to be in more of a deep threat role, >> yes, >> then it's harder to feed him the ball.
10:33But if you don't have Higgins, then you kind of do need him in that deep threat role to to keep defenses honest and to
10:38create space. So Higgins is is going to be like we know exactly the role that Higgins will be in. He's in the same
10:44role basically every week, but he's really good at that role. He draws double coverage. Last time we saw him, he had a 52% double coverage rate
10:50against the Patriots. Um that was with Chase out, but still he draws like >> consistently kind of in the 30 to 40%
10:57range of double coverage, which is very high. Um never really plays in the slot, plays out wide, has a deep a dot, and
11:05you you kind of know what you're getting, but it doesn't matter because he still produces. Um and and then Jamar Chase can move around the formation. So
11:13yeah, I think having Higgins back is is huge for for Burough in the offense.
11:17>> And we've seen like these hybrid guys uh like Jamar Chase really kind of do some damage against the Bills and you
11:25know uh like Stefan Diggs had 10 for 146. Drake London had 10 for 158. Like these guys that can do a little bit of
11:32everything. Uh Zay Flowers had the seven for 143 which feels like another season at this point. Uh the last touchdown Zay
11:38Flowers was allowed to score in the NFL was was back in week one. Uh so yeah, I I also am am pretty high on Chase. I
11:46mean, he's gone double- digit targets, you know, he he immediately had 14 targets last week again. Uh he's had what double digit targets six times over
11:54his past seven games, regardless of the quarter, three different quarterbacks. I think it's going to be a high target game for him for sure. The one thing of
12:01note for the Bengals last week, if you're just looking at like box score stuff, that maybe could be a little bit
12:06like a misrepresentation of what we get here, is that they did run 80 plays last week because of all the weird stuff the
12:12bang uh the weird turnovers and stuff.
12:14And I think that will show up in like the Chase Brown usage in this game unless they do swerve runheavy, which
12:20kind of you and I are kind of in agreement like they probably won't. But that made that allowed Chase Brown's box
12:25score to look a lot better than kind of his split actually was with Samas Pron coming back. You look at like, oh yeah,
12:3020 touches again. But they also ran 80 plays and his share of the backfield touches like completely dipped with Peron coming back and his route
12:38participation really dipped off. It was still solid in terms of context like we see running backs get like he was at
12:43like the 55% mark, but he was at like 86 82 like you know he was back to like Chase Brown of last year while P Ryan
12:50was out. And just something to note, if we get a game where like the Bill uh Bills the Bengals run like 65 offensive
12:56plays or something normal in the range of normality, we might see the 20 touches turn into like 14 to 16 touches
13:02for >> 100%.
13:04>> No, that jumped out to me too. I mean he rout participation uh previous three games before week 13 week 13 86 83 74
13:12drops to 56. Snap share 96 82 89 drops to 60 and then carry share 73 82 83 drops to 45. He still had a 16% target
13:23share last week. Um there was still there were plenty of carries to split up. So so the shares might understate it
13:30slightly. Um but still Pine came back had 40% of snaps, 42% of carries was was pretty involved. And then you look at
13:37like what these guys have done this year. So, Maji Perine ranks running back three in success rate with a 52% success
13:44rate. I kind of wondering if like he's their Kareem Hunt where they're like, "Hey, we need to pick up a couple yards.
13:50Like, we know we can we can count on Sama Pron to do it." And Chase Brown's at running back 42 in success rate at
13:5639%. He's had more juice, um, but not a ton of juice. He's running back 21 in breakaway yards per game, running back
14:0327 in rush yards of expected per game.
14:05So it's he's not like Brown has been a much better fantasy player than real life player and now we're seeing a guy
14:12>> the story of his his whole profile.
14:15>> Exactly.
14:16>> Coming out of the school >> and you're like okay this dude what's his superpower? His superpower is he can consolidate touches when they don't
14:22trust anybody else. But they do trust Peron now. And so I think and and like Pine ranks running back seven in elusive
14:29rating. He's breaking tackles.
14:31He's there's no reason to give Chase Brown all the touches like he he has played like a committee back and I think
14:38you know maybe a 1A back but I think that's how he'll be treated as a 1A back here. So >> I'm not super interested in him.
14:45>> I um >> now I r him up as like an upside RB2 is like kind of like a upside matchup based
14:50RB like a high like higherend guy but that's kind of where I had him.
14:53>> I have him as an RB2. I I have uh ended up putting Quinchan Judkins in a lineup ahead of him
15:00>> which felt scary given this like this game environment versus like Shador Sanders running back. I was like this seems nuts but that's kind of where I'm
15:07at. And I have I have Judkins a couple spots ahead in the rankings right now.
15:10So >> um maybe I'm overreacting to the split but that's that's what >> No, just it just adds a layer of
15:17volatility. I think we understand that the matchup and him maybe because he he has been better at getting like longer runs of late
15:24>> uh like the past six weeks. So you combine it with the matchup. I think we're just looking at that to be driven
15:29more by efficiency than top down value is all like we're saying like I would I would not expect this to be him getting
15:36like 20 to 24 touches.
15:39>> Yep. All right, let's go to the Bills side. The Bills have an implied team total of 29.5.
15:47They are expected to score a ton of points. Believe that that must be the highest of of the slate.
15:52>> It is the highest.
15:54>> Um they're coming off an extremely runheavy performance against the Steelers. This is a team that's just like absolutely establishing it right
16:02now. 38% pass rate against the Steelers.
16:05That was 17% below expected. Minus 29% on first and 10. They're for some reason hiding Josh Allen and and leaning on the
16:14running game. But you know what? It's working. It's working. You got to give it to Joe Brady. It doesn't make any
16:19sense to to build an offense like this with Josh Allen. But they are. And they are. They're scoring points. And they're
16:25scoring so many points, Rich, that they're our wagon of the week.
16:28>> This is our wagon, baby. The wagon of the week.
16:30>> The team's just rolling right now. This team is just They're a wagon.
16:34>> They are [ __ ] wagon. We're going to have a nice old picnic. Load that wagon up. Like we're just whatever you need to
16:39put in that wagon.
16:40>> They're wagon.
16:41>> Yeah. This is our wagon of the week, baby. What does that mean? What does wagon mean?
16:47I swerve into the bit for at least >> Yeah. We have an address that you're wearing the outfit from this video.
16:54>> Yeah. Yeah. My wife surprised me. I showed her the clip and uh she said, "I got you a gift." And I said, "Oh,
16:59really?" And it was this cowboy hat. I said, "Oh, man." Said, "All right." I made the joke cuz I'm going to get a
17:04cowboy hat made at the sea on it. And she she got it for me. It's >> so good.
17:08>> Listen, this is why uh I've I've been married to her for 19 years.
17:12>> Yeah. You guys are perfect match. Yeah, that's awesome.
17:18>> But you nailed it. I Bills at home are like another one of these teams because you don't you always we always think
17:22like the the teams at home as like the dome teams, right? Like the the Lions or the Cowboys or even like kind of the
17:27Colts this year, but Bills are second in points per drive at home. Like they just they they have been an absolute wagon in
17:34all these home games. They're 17th in points per drive uh on the road this year. Um, yeah, they they also lead the
17:42NFL in plays of 20 plus yards, which you kind of don't think based on how their roster is constructed, but they have
17:47like these like these Jimokes just kind of like have splash plays. Like you'll get a game where like Tyrell Shavers has
17:54like a 40 yard catch or like Ty Johnson is out of the back field on a wheel route and you're just like, "All right,
17:59like none none of these guys are like individually playable, but like they like in the context of week to week like
18:05someone makes a play for these guys uh that you don't really expect to." And it all adds up to production. And the other
18:11thing here is that we in we're at the time of the year where we typically see >> Josh Allen time >> and we got big AFC matchup, right? Like
18:20it feels like this is like Yeah. a big Josh Allen game. And even when you put in the you the last couple weeks for the
18:28Bengals defense and outside of the first quarter against the Patriots, they were terrible. Uh, and they like the Patriots had that weird sequence where they kind
18:36of ran 10 plays from like the one yard line and then it could score a touchdown. And then last week they had
18:41all those weird turnovers, but like even including that like this is still like a bottom two defense in like almost every
18:47compartment.
18:48They've been a little bit better recently. Yeah. But they're not uh they're not good at all. Um, and basically like the one way you'd say
18:58they've been better is that uh Lamar Jackson just stunk against them last week. And you know, is that Bengals getting it together or did Jackson is
19:06Jackson just not right right now?
19:08>> Um, I tend to think Jackson's not right given that he was, >> you know, missing practice and didn't seem like a lock to even play this week.
19:15So, uh, yeah, Bengals 31st in passing DBA, 31st in EPA allowed per drop back, 31st in success rate. The thing about
19:24like if we want to talk the passing game first, I mean, we can kind of like rule out it's like process of elimination in
19:30the passing game. We can't play almost any of these receivers. Uh, last week route participation, Tyrell Shavers was at 39%. Brandon Cooks
19:40was at 36%. He joined the team like a week ago and has a role. Uh Keon Coleman was at 46%. Gabe Davis led all wide
19:49receivers with 71% route participation.
19:52Uh he had 0.25 yards per hour run though. Khalil Shakir dropped to 50% last week. So we're we can't count on
20:01routes from anyone uh at wide receiver.
20:04Shakir is probably our best bet in the sense that if this becomes a shootout, if the if the Bills aren't able to just
20:13kind of steamroll with the run game, then Shir would have more routes. We've seen him when they actually are running 11 personnel. Um, and especially when
20:22they're trailing or in competitive scripts, his rap participation does go up. He was at 77% against the against the um against the Chiefs, 84% against
20:30the Dolphins, 80% against the Texans. He was only at 67% against the Bucks, which isn't great. And then he was >> I think he was the Bucks game, right?
20:40>> Okay. I I had memory hold that.
20:42>> Yeah, he got he got banged up for like a little bit of a stretch and then he had the baby.
20:47>> That makes sense.
20:48>> Uh right.
20:49>> Then last week I'm curious too is just how much was impacted by them missing both tackles too.
20:55>> Uh like they really went because they played a lot of jumbo like a lot of heavy especially >> a lot of heavy personnel. And I just
21:02wonder if that is is sticky because we are getting Dawkins back and I think uh Spencer Brown is also tracking to play
21:09uh this week. So I just don't know how much that alters the approach and we do get a little more 11. But you are right
21:14in the sense though like we still need push back to push to get the Bills and Joe Brady into some kind of mindset of
21:20throwing the football.
21:21>> I think when you have a 38% pass rate which is the lowest of the season like that's probably as much to do with the
21:28jumbo stuff as anything. and and Jackson Haw was, you know, playing a bunch more.
21:33Like Shakir wasn't even really losing routes to receivers. He was losing routes to tight ends because they they weren't they weren't playing in three
21:39wide receiver sets. And like he's he's one of the most uh consistent players that in terms of where his snaps come
21:44from being in the slot. He's 95th percentile in slot rate usage at wide receiver. 71% of his snaps in the slot
21:51this year.
21:51>> Yeah. How much did they trust guys like Ryan Van Demar, you know, and Alec Anderson against TJ Watt, right? Like
21:58>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
22:00So, I mean, we'll see in terms of what this game is. The the concern with Shakir is that um like this can be a high-scoring game
22:11and the Bills don't necessarily need to pass that much because it could be high-scoring because the Bills are putting it on a really bad Bengals run
22:20defense. Bengals are 31st in DVOA against the run, 31st in EPA, 31st in success rate. And like the Steelers game was not an outlier. It was sort of the
22:30culmination of what the Bills have been trying to do all year. Uh they had a minus 12% proe against the uh Panthers,
22:38minus 26% um on first and 10. They had 42% pass rate in that game. They had a 48% pass rate against the Chiefs. Like in in you
22:48know that was that was a crucial game and they passed less than half the time.
22:52Uh, I think our default assumption should be that they build this game plan around James Cook and and the run game.
22:59Um, which is why James Cook was the cover boy. I I named it Too Many Cooks because I'm I'm a little irritated. This
23:04is what we're going to get. But, uh, we are get I think we're getting it. And rather than fight it, I I kind of want
23:10to just get on board. James Cook has been awesome this year. He's running back two in rush yards over expected per
23:15game, running back four in breakaway yards per game. Uh, this is an awesome spot for him to get loaded up with
23:20volume and to have some breakaway runs.
23:23Um, so Cook's like a no-brainer play this. He's like going to be really chalky in DFS. I still think a good
23:30play. Um, maybe even a great play. Uh, given the running back slate. So, not a ton. I mean, that one's pretty simple. I
23:38think the more interesting thing to think through is like what does Allen do in this game? And just like checking in
23:45with myself, I was like, the last time I was this frustrated with Joe with Joe Brady, Allen went nuts against the
23:49Bucks. And it is a reminder that like it's still Josh Allen. Even with suboptimal play calling and game planning, he can just absolutely wreck,
24:00you know, a defense and this Bengals defense has no real hope of stopping him. So if Allen just decides to be
24:06Superman here, like he will be. Um, if Dawson Knox plays in this game, I think he is intriguing. Like an Allen Knox,
24:14sorry, uh, Concade. Dawson Knox will play, but >> yeah, >> Daltton Concaid, if Daltton Concade plays in this game, I think Concaid and
24:21Allen are interesting. And Concaid at least gives you >> one, he only plays half the routes anyway, so you don't need him to be like
24:29in some full-time role. He's never been in a full-time role all season. So, if he comes back with with 50% of snaps,
24:35like great. Um it's all just an efficiency play which makes a lot of sense against this defense and he's a tight end so if they end up in jumbo
24:44sets and stuff that's not the worst thing for concade I know he's kind of a big slot for them but still I think he
24:49can he can kind of get there in a runheavy script in a way that I'm pretty worried about Shakir >> um for that. So he I I would I'm more
24:56interested in like Allen stacks I think if I can uh pair him with concade.
25:01>> Yeah. And if even if Concaid's limited, I think it matters less for him than it would a typical player because he plays
25:07limited anyways. Like this is a guy that plays only 50% of the drop backs really anyways. So even if he's limited, he's
25:14just not going to he's basically just be his himself.
25:17>> Yeah.
25:18>> Like it kind of works out for them in a sense. like even if they're a little worried, obviously you want your you
25:23want we would prefer him to just be healthy and not have to, you know, have any hamstring or a knee injury while
25:29you're coming back from a hamstring that you picked up. But I mean, this Bengals defense against tight ends has also been
25:36like just kind of tried and true. We saw likely again on Thanksgiving and then even the the one of the interceptions
25:42that Lamar threw that was batted down, Mark Andrews was wide open. It was going to be a touchdown uh that was batted at
25:48the line of scrimmage. Uh the Bengals have allowed 10 tight end one scoring weeks this season. Uh they've allowed 300 yard games. There have been 14 100
25:59yard games allowed this season to tight ends. And Concade actually has two of them. Only four tight ends have multiple hundred yard games and Concaid's one of
26:06them. So he can be an efficient on a per target basis. Like even if we only got six concade targets, I think he could be
26:12effective on those. Um >> I mean he So he has 2.95 yards per rout, leads all tight ends. He's got a 24% uh
26:20targets per route run, which is 98th percentile at tight end. Like he's been he's he leads all tight ends in open
26:26score. Um he leads all tight ends in ESPN's receiver rating. He he has a 9.7 A dot, so he's a downfield threat for
26:33them.
26:34>> I mean, he's 15 yards a catch.
26:36>> Yeah. like he he's a big play receiver and they like you're getting to take one of these you're getting to take the only one of
26:44these big one one of these part-time receivers that's actually flashing consistent playmaking >> um and you get to play him at tight end
26:54like if you told me I got to play Khil Shakir at tight end I'd be pretty psyched about that and and I think we get with concaid he's
27:01actually been even more efficient than Shakir it's obviously just the health stuff that we got to worry about so if he goes I'm definitely I'm definitely in
27:08here. Um and I don't know that he'll end up being that popular.
27:12>> He won't if it especially being limited and it is a pretty decent tight end slate too overall in terms of DFS. But
27:20even managed leagues I would be more willing to take on the upside of just saying like hey even on you know like
27:25said five to seven targets there's there's upside here relative to the position even some guys that maybe project better for a little better
27:32volume too just because of the way the tight end position is played.
27:35>> Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, if you're like if you're putting a bill in your lineup and you're and you're like, I'm I've got
27:41target volume this week, like you don't like, you know, there's no way you could possibly assume target volume for any of
27:48these receivers or tight ends. So, it's got to be efficiency. And and he he definitely jumps out. And I I guess I'm
27:55not like my thinking it is a hamstring, so it's like could that hurt his efficiency? My general thinking with this stuff is like if he suits up like
28:02he'll be he'll be good enough to go especially that he's going to be taken every other snap off. So, um like usual.
28:10Uh all right, >> let's go to the Colts at Jags. Um Daniel Jones. I I don't know what this leg fracture. It's got to be a small one,
28:20right? I mean, this is a micro micro.
28:23>> I assume it's not like there's definitely not a bone coming out of the sock.
28:30What's going on? How's he playing through a leg fracture? But he did >> I think it's like a stress fracture, right? Like isn't that like is it okay?
28:36>> That's what that's what I gather. I mean, listen, I'm no doctor. I mean, like, yeah. So, I just assume that it's like a stress
28:43fracture. When I hear like that, I'm like, yeah, >> and it's fractured fibula and uh >> just saying those words together is just
28:51like you assume like what? Like, how?
28:54fractured fibula and not on the injury report are two things I don't expect at the same time.
29:00>> He's like practicing in full, too. Like they're not like >> Yeah, it's so weird. I mean, when it first got reported, he was like limping
29:07around. I saw um Jeff Muller tweeted out like uh a clip of him like kind of clearly limping. the backup quarterbacks
29:15were like, you know, and uh he played >> there was a scramble in the Chiefs game where he got out and went to scramble
29:21and you you were I was like oh like uh oh it was like yeah he can't like he he has no gear.
29:26>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, he's definitely not as mobile but like so he's 51st percentile in EPA paper play against the
29:31Chiefs, 58th percentile against the Texans, which obviously is a great defense.
29:35>> Yeah. Both are good good opponents.
29:37>> Yeah. So I don't know. It seems to be I don't I'm confused about how this is happening or what's going on, but uh he
29:44does seem to be able to like play through it to an extent. He doesn't look as mobile obviously, but >> um I don't know. It's not like the
29:52offense is cratering.
29:54This matchup is interesting though because the Jags have been a massive pass funnel. Um >> and they have pretty good run defense.
30:02They have an exploitable pass defense.
30:04Their success rate against the pass is only 20th. They've made some big plays.
30:07They're they're decent in coverage, but don't have a good pass rush or at least it's not great and uh and you kind of
30:13move the ball consistently against them.
30:16And the Colts have been like sneaky pass heavy or at least pass first all season.
30:20They they've been very aggressive on first and 10 pretty much the whole season in terms of their pass rate over expected. But last week against the
30:28Texans, minus 10% pass rate of expected, minus 17% on first and 10. Completely flipped the script. Obviously with the Jones injury, it makes sense. They're
30:37going against an elite pass defense.
30:38Makes sense not to expose your quarterback with a broken leg. And so you get kind of this push and pull here like we
30:47talked about with the Bengals a little bit. It's like there's a funnel defense, in this case a a pass funnel, but then
30:53you've got an offense that might be moving away from the pass for good reason because they have a quarterback injury that they're trying to manage.
31:00So, like what do what do we expect the Colts to look like in terms of their game plan here?
31:05>> I think they will probably try to come out and establish Jonathan Taylor, but I don't know if it'll work. And then if
31:11they get pushed out of it, I think that they might come out of it a little bit sooner because I think they might
31:15>> get pushed a little bit. But Jones was still like really good. And honestly, it's like I feel like I don't want to I
31:21don't want to like say like too far people are like overweighting this thing cuz you hear fractured fibula, but like he's still he's still been like plenty
31:28efficient even last week. So he was pressured at a season high rate last week, but when he was kept clean against
31:35the Houston Texans, mind you, he was eight of 12, nine yards for pass, still two touchdowns. Like the passing game was still good when it was supposed to
31:43be good. like and and and like we're expecting the P like him to be protected better here against the worst pass
31:49defense.
31:50>> So I'm just like man like is this a spot where like we're overthinking it a little bit and like he's probably going
31:55to be good here like uh and then all the things that the Colts do they still did last week minus like the pure RPO stuff
32:02with the running stuff which was kind of for show anyways. Like Jones really was like never running like he was like
32:08never guy getting like six to eight like designed runs a game. they would show you the RPO, but it was kind of like
32:14window dressing. So, last week his under shotgun rate was actually lower still than a season average. So, like they didn't like try to hide him by playing
32:22more in shotgun and they still ran a ton of pre- snap motion and they still use play action 41% of the time. And like
32:29those are things like that have been like big tells for the Jaguars all year.
32:33Like they're really bad against the play action pass. They go uh from third in yards per pass attempt against non-playaction passes to 14th against
32:42the play action pass. They go from eighth in complete rate down to 16th.
32:45And the two quarterbacks that they faced that are like around Daniel Jones and play action rate are Sam Darnold and Matthew Stafford. And both those guys
32:52were QB1s against them. So I do think that this passing game and then we'll talk about some of the pieces when we
32:58get into the weeds because I think there's some signals for a lot of the pass catchers here too. If the Jaguars
33:03are playing the run as well as they have all year, and they haven't more than 63 rushing yards to a running back yet this
33:08season, I I still think they're gonna find deficiency through the pass, and I kind of am more bullish on the upside
33:15for this passing game than I think the field is.
33:19>> Yeah, I I was kind of when I wrote up this game, I was was feeling like, man, I don't know if the
33:27Colts are going to lean into this matchup. Like, that was my big concern.
33:31That's the concern.
33:33>> And if they try to hide Jones and run on this defense, then I I I mean, Jonathan Taylor's awesome, but I don't think it's
33:42going to I just don't think it's going to work that well. I mean, I think what they've been able to do this year is
33:47they get they have Taylor going, but then they're actually passing uh on first down like in neutral situations. They're they're prioritizing
33:55the pass, which is smart and efficient way to play football. And then they do have the threat of the run. So you can't
34:02just like be like, "Oh, we're going to let you we're going to let you run on us on first down because that will not work
34:06with Jonathan Taylor." So they defenses have to respect the run and they use that as leverage to to get more efficiency out of their passing game.
34:15But if that whole sort of dynamic is shifting and they're just like a more conservative team, like if the Colts become the Seahawks where they're just
34:22like establishing it and then kind of picking their spots in the passing game, I don't think that's going to work nearly as well in this matchup. Um
34:32although to your point, the Seahawks did have success against the Jaguars, but I don't know. The Seahawks are kind of their own thing. So,
34:37>> yeah, >> I'm I'm just like a little bit more nervous about this uh this offense because I'm like I'm nervous about the way they
34:47approach things with the Texans in Jones first game playing through this injury.
34:52>> And he does have some kind of fracture in his leg, which is a concern. But maybe maybe from a GPP perspective, I
35:00should kind of get on board with your optimism because there is a clear opportunity here with with the playaction passing as you as you point
35:07out. I mean, Tyler Warren is set up really well if they lean into the play action game. If they kind of do their
35:12normal like if we just like rewind and it's like week six and we give the Colts this matchup, we're stoked. Like this is they're this
35:21is like >> Yeah.
35:22>> You know, they're they're the wagon of the week, you know? we're we're talking them up is as is like, you know, you got
35:28to jam the Colts, you got to play you got to play Taylor, you got to play Warren, you got to play Pitman, you got
35:33to play even Pierce. Like, >> um we probably wish they were more in the dome, too, but >> sure. Um, >> it is supposed to rain during this game,
35:42but I looked LA last year these teams played in the rain and they scored 71 points >> like with Joe Flacos because I know
35:50we're because you know we're in that weather season. You know, we're in weather season for >> not too bad this week. That the big
35:55weather game is actually the one we already covered. Um, might be some snow, but not it's like cold with a little
36:00snow, not too much wind, so I'm not worried about it.
36:02>> Yeah, but I I went even when I was like I went to last year and these teams played in the rain and they score it.
36:07This game was an absolute shootout in Jacksonville. And obviously defenses and stuff, everything's different. But it's like I'm not gonna go crazy unless
36:13there's like wind and anything else.
36:15It's like factored in. So if it's just rain, I'm not go going like too far in the weeds.
36:19>> There's really no wind this this week.
36:21It none of the games are supposed to have wind.
36:24>> Uh per Kevin Roth, so we should be pretty good there. Um >> well, like you said, it does take a step
36:31of faith. I think like like Jones from like he'd be more like uh me stacking this in like single entry stuff like I'm
36:37not going to go like overly bullish and like be super overweight on him, but I am interested in in having builds around
36:43uh the passing game probably two different variations because I do like you uh I think there's a huge signal here for Tyler Warren if we get the
36:51script that we like the optimal game planning and then you can make a a pretty case a pretty good case for
36:57either of the wide receivers out Pierce and Michael Pitman. So, I kind of want to do some variations of like Warren
37:02with one of the guys and then Warren with the other guy.
37:06>> I like it. Um, Alec Pierce is kind of intriguing to me here because I don't think you need as much volume with
37:13Pierce, you know, he's the deep threat guy. Yeah. 20.2 A DOT. Um, play action stuff, you know, big play like big play
37:21hunting off play action. If they do go Seahawks, like that could be okay for Pierce. um trying to get the explosives,
37:28picking your spots, using the the passing game uh for for more explosive downfield stuff as opposed to the way they've kind of tended to do it, which
37:35is like more of the RPO like chunk play stuff. Um but Pierce has been really efficient this year, 2.15 yards per out
37:42run. Uh he also has an 18% targets per out run, which is pretty solid given that he gets targeted so deep. He has a
37:4846% air share, which is 97th percentile at receiver. U he's just had like kind of one of those seasons where he's going
37:56to go get paid like say Jones did and it's going to be a disaster for whoever whoever gets him. But but it's like one
38:02of those >> although what if it's the Bills like is he not like a Josh this is like the Josh Allen receiver if there ever was one.
38:08>> Oh man. Yeah, I guess. Although like you have Dave >> Will he need five targets now? So >> yeah. Will he need five targets a game
38:17from Josh Allen?
38:19>> Don't do it. Don't do it. Um, yeah. I mean, look, I mean, he's been someone's going to pay him and maybe it'll work
38:25actually because he has been really good >> this year. But I I'm I'm intrigued by him because I he's going to run the
38:30routes and uh he can get there in a couple targets. Josh DS, >> he's had a relatively high floor for his
38:37arc.
38:38>> Uh, Pierce. Yeah.
38:39>> Yeah. when you look at like because when you think of like him in years past uh but he's he's been just kind of living
38:45like uh you know as he's been he's been a wide receiver two or better in four of his past six games which you wouldn't
38:50think of that archetype. You'd think of it more as very volatile.
38:54>> Agreed. Yeah. Um downs the last two weeks it's been pretty involved with 36 and 28% targets per route run but uh
39:02just 64% route participation last week 42% against the Chiefs. I'm He's not really on my radar this week. He He's like He's becoming like Demario Douglas
39:13or something, >> you know? It's sad.
39:16>> Yeah, it's a He's kind of like in that Shakira mode, you know.
39:19>> Yeah. Yeah. Um >> but less but he when he plays, he also plays other guys that are G targets.
39:28>> We we weren't super positive about Taylor. I guess we I should note like I still have him as an elite RB1 in in the
39:33rankings this week.
39:34>> I think everyone understands. Yeah.
39:35>> Yeah. Okay. Like no one's I would hope that like no one like obviously season long stuff. It's more like how you'd be
39:40handling him with like the prop streets and stuff like that.
39:42>> He's so expensive in DFS. I don't think I'll be playing him there.
39:45>> I mean he's get he literally I think back week he's at 100% of the backfield touches. That's his one out is he is
39:51catching the ball. Like he's set to easily clear he's five catches short of his careerh high.
39:57>> He's he's going to clear that easy. And Jags have been a little bit more vulnerable in the passing game. But it's
40:02when you're talking about like Jonathan Taylor in the context like we talk about him, it's like we're talking about like is this a spot where you expect like a
40:07spike week a 30point game and it's probably like lower in the range of outcomes for that.
40:12>> Yeah. Yeah. Um all right, Jaguars side.
40:17Uh I'm kind of intrigued by the Jags here. So S Gardner's out. Um the Colts defense does not have a good pass rush.
40:26They still don't have DeForest Buckner um for at least another week. and they're currently dead last in pass rush win rate. They're 27th in quick pressure
40:34rate, 21st in pressure rate. So, we should have time to throw here for Trevor Lawrence. Um, Jaguars have also done well in protection. They're third
40:44best in preventing quick pressure, eighth in in pass block win rate. So, I think their offensive line is is good, not great, honestly, but um it's good
40:52enough for this matchup. In terms of coverage, the Colts have been attacked through the air um pretty aggressively this year, but largely because they were
41:01dealing with cornerback injuries and secondary injuries um for a lot of the year, >> game script and stuff. So, I think those
41:07numbers are a little bit misleading.
41:09>> However, you know, Gardner is out. They will have Trevarious Ward, which is pretty important. He's he's a big deal um terms of, you know, solidifying that
41:17secondary, but >> still uh with Gardner out, I think this is a much less concerning matchup. and Lawrence should have time to throw and
41:25it could be a pretty fun game environment. So, you know, Jacobe Meyers is, I guess, the number one wide receiver here now and is somewhat
41:33interesting for DFS. And then I'm pretty excited about Brenton Strange, who Yep.
41:38>> was at 81% rout participation last week.
41:41He is at 1.92 yards per run this season, uh, which is 92nd percentile at tight end. He's 88th percentile in open score.
41:48He was used, uh, pretty pretty heavily before he got injured. Um he had to start the year he had yards per runs of
41:562.57, 0.46, but then 1.97, 1.73, and two. He gets he gets hurt. He misses five games. During those five games, um
42:07uh Travis Hunter missed three of those.
42:09Brian Thomas was out for for a bit as well. And the other tight ends, Hunter Long and Johnny Munt were >> Yeah.
42:17>> factors. Nothing. So, this is not a like sometimes you see teams that like use the tight end. That's not the Jaguars.
42:25The Jaguars use Brentton Strange. He came back at 3.88 yards per hour run against the Cardinals and then 1.73 last week.
42:32>> He's a weapon for them, I think, pretty clearly and like they talked him up before the season. Um, he was installed
42:38right away. Like the new regime came in, they were like they got rid of Emtt Ingram. They identified him as like a
42:44player they wanted to feature. They have featured him. Um, and he's back in a in a full-time role now. Like, it's kind of
42:50wheels up for Brenton Strange, the way I'm looking at it. Um, and and the Colts defense I'm kind of intrigued by the
42:57tight end against because, you know, this is somewhat with Gardner there, but like the the spot to attack them is kind
43:03of over the middle right now. So, >> um, you know, he's not like a smash, but I I find him pretty intriguing,
43:11especially in DFS where he's he's not super expensive. He's 3,900 and he's not going to be chalky. Um, and it is a kind
43:18of way into this game environment that uh I think could be high upside for, you know, the price and filling the tight
43:25end spot.
43:27>> Yeah, I'm expecting with Sasker being out the the the Colts to kind of go back more into like some more hybrid
43:32coverages, play a little more zone.
43:34Their their man coverage had gone way up, which makes sense, you know, you add to why why get sauce if you're not,
43:41>> right? Why get him? And we saw that same thing with like when Patrick Certan missed with the Broncos, they started
43:46playing more zone, you know, so I think middle of the field stuff too. Uh I'm in complete agreement. So Brentton Strange
43:52stood out for me as well. Route participation went way up getting, you know, kind of his feet wet. And then the
43:57runout was just capped by they were never pushed last week. And I think we're going to have a more competitive game environment. So we're going to get
44:04more full uh full game passing from the Jaguars here. And I just think Brent Jacobe Meyers fits that role. and Liam
44:12Cohen's offense uh that like Chris Godwinesque role better than Brian Thomas did and that's unfortunate but I think it maybe we'll see some back half
44:21of the season uh bounce back for Brian Thomas not in the sense of fantasy where he's going to be a wide receiver one
44:26again but I think it'll allow Brian Thomas to play more of the a natural wide receiver position that he's more comfortable with and Jacobe Meyers is
44:33more Chris Godwin adjacent but that role in that offense is typically like the first read target guy and that's why I
44:40think that even with Brian Thomas coming back last week, Jacobe Myers still kind of stayed in that that spot. U so I do
44:46think it's more of a I would rank them.
44:48Yeah, Jacobe Myers probably leads the team in targets, but Brentton Strange because of his price and position availability I'm a little more intrigued
44:54by. And then Brian Thomas and then Parker Washington looks like he's tracking to come back. But I think Parker Washington will get hurt big
45:02picture because Brenton Strange coming on and then Brian Thomas being back and then Jacobe Meyers obviously elevating.
45:07I think he probably ends up being kind of the the the the third fourth wheel still.
45:13>> I I agree. Yeah. And yeah, I have Myers ahead of Thomas in the ranks this week, which felt it's like one of those things
45:19where I put them back to back with Myers behind >> and then I was like just just admit to yourself that Myers is
45:27>> Yeah, that's what it is, man. We just got to cope, man. It's like it's just what it is.
45:33>> We got to Hey, we're here, man. Week week week 14. We gota adjust. We We can't be hang on to those prior.
45:39>> If Parker Washington was going to be out, I was gonna be like lukewarm interested in like maybe Brian Thomas and some of these stacks, but it just
45:46I'm with you. I think it's it's Myers and Strange. Um how bullish are you on Lawrence? Uh who has been scoring points
45:54but is still bad at football.
45:56>> Yeah, that that's the problem with Lawrence is that he's bad. Um he's like he's kind of a little bit of a
46:05positive aggression candidate when you look at his uh like his success rate is is okay. Um and his his EPA per game is
46:13is worse than you would expect based on his success rate which really isn't like that bad. It's 46% a little bit above
46:19that. like he could be he could be as efficient as like Michael Penn has been or uh Jack like if if he
46:28was doing like Jackson now he doesn't run so it's different but like if he was at sort of Jackson Dart's level of like
46:33EPA that would be like totally reasonable for his success rate so um it's not or Baker if he was doing what
46:42Baker's doing uh that would it would make sense for his consistency so there is a little bit of upside to like the
46:48profile and with sauce out this matchup and again he he'll have protection. So I'm I'm a little bit intrigued by Lawrence
46:55this week especially because of Strange.
46:58Like I think you can uh you can look at him as a stacking partner. You can look at Jacobe Myers as a stacking partner.
47:04Um so yeah, I I'm like obviously I'm not excited about Trevor Lawrence. It's hard to be excited about Trevor.
47:12>> Yeah, we've been down this road. We've been down this road and you probably feel everyone's collective eye roll.
47:16Even us like talking about him like Yeah, good. It's sort of a real good luck with that situation with Trevor Lawrence, but I think I might uh I might
47:27I might take on your uh your wishings of good luck and actually play him in DFS.
47:32>> Yeah, >> I'm not decided on that.
47:34>> Yeah, I don't I he I don't know if too he'll he'll completely make my cut, but I think uh in terms of like all
47:40ownership, but I think I'm going to play this game from both sides.
47:43>> Yeah.
47:43>> Uh in a single entry like stack it up.
47:47>> I do too. like as long as there's no weird weather stuff and like there's and like the you know um there's no like
47:53them just having to like really swerve into like this Daniel Jones industry like there are some things that like are on the outskirts here that are like
48:00offer volatility. But I do think that the path for this game if it does hit like is really high and like really
48:06intriguing for a lot of the pieces. And when you talk about like a DFS lens like the price point for a lot of these guys
48:11is just affordable. uh you could you could play a lot of these guys in one game whereas the previous game we talked
48:16about like >> if you want to play Josh Allen, you know, James Cook and Jamar Chase, like good luck the rest of the way. Like
48:22>> right where here you can you can literally play Daniel Jones or Trevor Lawrence plus Brenton Strange, Tyler Warren, Alec Pierce, Michael Pitman,
48:30Jacobe Myers, and like still play a James Cook and still play someone else.
48:35And we didn't talk about Pitman, but like I think if this game really gets nutty in terms of the passing volume,
48:40which again I'm a little bit nervous about with the the injury for Jones, but is possible. Like he can rack up
48:46targets. He's been he's been a solid player. He's been uh you know, running all the routes and stuff. So, uh I I
48:51think he's worth mentioning.
48:53>> Yeah, he's had a downswing against some teams that like you would expect him to that are uh one really good against wide
48:58receivers in general and then play some coverages that don't favor him. you know, like they just came off of, you know, facing uh Falcons, Chiefs, Texans,
49:06and then the Falcons are like a big single high team. Like there's some awesome Nuggets when we get to to that
49:12game. But so like that's always been a big signal for Alec Pierce. Uh then you you know the Chiefs are just good
49:16against wide receivers in general and so are the Texans. Like it's it's he's got a little bit of a downswing, but
49:22>> Jaguars are bad on the outside. They're bad vertically. They do play a lot of too high. I do think stuff sets up for
49:27him as well um too. So, like I said, I'm very intrig like a lot of the pieces here like I like I think in like a
49:34seasonl long league too like all these guys are like in lineups for me.
49:38>> Yeah. No, I I I think that's right. Uh running game on the Jags side. Um anything say >> yeah I think it's it's fragile for ETN
49:47here would be my big takeaway. Like 44% of carries last week to was at 30% but I noted even in that game against the
49:54Chargers where he was like it's like tootin week like it's happening. He was forcing a split. So like you know Tutin
50:01I think if the kind of desperation RB4 type stuff sure sure but not really in play >> like he's knocking on the like I think
50:08the best thing we can hope for Tooten outside of an an injury through contingency is that like maybe he like knocks on the door of being in like the
50:16Charbanet Alier zone where like you're getting enough touches >> zone >> and then potentially getting the goal line stuff cuz they uh Cohen talked
50:24about it this week too and the OC talked about like they like using him near the goal line because he doesn't lose yards.
50:31They're like like this dude doesn't you like we we are going to continue to use him in that capacity. Now they also said
50:36too like that doesn't mean that ETN's shut out from that role. That's why I kind of said like the Alier zone or
50:41whatever like you still see Dan get in.
50:42>> I think he already is in the Alier zone.
50:44I just don't think he's in the Charbanet >> zone yet where he like sometimes it's like is he the lead back? Like that's
50:49>> right.
50:50>> That's where I'm hoping he'll get to but we'll see.
50:52>> You we probably need the outright injury for it to happen. I think so at this point, but um I don't know. He's been
50:59he's flashed enough where I'm like, what if you just made him the starter, guys?
51:02Um but I don't think >> I still think from like a dynasty stance, you you're feeling pretty bullish.
51:06>> Oh, from a dynasty stance for sure. Uh from a baseball stance where he's like literally my highest drafted player, it
51:13might not happen.
51:13>> But at least in baseball, you have like the opportunity now at least where to like you get the luck box touchdown.
51:19like you're like, you know, hey, that's like well within the range of plays now weekly for him to at least get a
51:24touchdown >> and in baseball you'll take that. And so >> 100% 100% fill that flex. Um all right, >> Seahawks at Falcons. Uh so yeah, you've
51:34got some Nuggets. Uh you want to kick things off with with uh Nuggets on the Falcons?
51:40>> Well, just wanted I mean if you watch that game and we'll probably do do this a little bit too when we get to the
51:44Commanders Vikings game, too. I mean, Brian Flores, it's a bummer that they never had a shot to win that game because they with Bromer like this
51:51because what a game that Brian Flores called. Like, he had he had Darnold in absolute hell the entire game, but they
51:58had zero shot of ever winning the game.
52:01>> Um, >> so bad.
52:02>> But this spot here is like such a good flop lag spot for the Seahawks offense.
52:06Now, we probably do need a little bit of push, but maybe we can get like a commander game where like Darnold was
52:12just so efficient in the first half of that commander game. He he ended up scoring over 25, you know, fantasy points.
52:19>> Because the Falcons play single high defense, 65% of their snaps and they're a defense that doesn't change. Like, this is what we do week to week. And
52:27this is why we love uh we can call on some of these coverage stuff for some of these teams like this that just stay
52:32static and don't adjust for opponent. Uh Darnold leads the NFL in fantasy points per drop back against single high. Uh third in yards per pass attempt. He has
52:4012 passing touchdowns. The Falcons also blitz a lot in front of that. He's first in yards per pass attempt that gets the
52:46blitz. So I expect it to be a pretty good efficiencybased game for Darnold.
52:51The question with always will be how many pass attempts do you get and how much does he have to live on efficiency?
52:56But we've seen Jackson Smith of Jigba at least offer on low targets like hyper efficiency. And if you thought Adai I
53:02Mitchell getting 100 yards on the Falcons was cool like this one could be like if we end up getting anywhere like
53:09eight plus targets Jackson Smith and Jigbook absolutely fry here because we talked about like that single high stuff. Um he has three 3.3 yards per run
53:19against single high. Uh Atlanta's already been bad against lead wide outs anyways in perimeter wide outs because their guys are put on islands. Um, so
53:27this could be the last three weeks. T McMillan eight for 130 and two. Uh, Chris Ave nine catches for 70 yards,
53:34more mild. Uh, and then Adai Mitchell last week going for the eight 102. It took one week. We It took us 12 weeks to
53:41finally have a dud from Jackson from Fantasy Sands. I don't think we're going to repeat it.
53:46>> I don't think we're going to repeat it either. I I wrote up in uh the walkthrough like I've been kind of
53:51waiting for this from Darnold and you know now we've gotten a couple of of duds from Darnold. He was he was bad
53:58against the Rams too.
53:59>> Um he's bad against the Texans and it's sort of like yeah if you can you can pressure this guy you kind of get his
54:05head spinning it can get really bad. But the thing about JSN that you know one a couple things with Darnold he's not even like the engine of
54:17the offense. The engine of the offense is the running game and they're like using him as like this like kind of
54:22counter punch where it's like all right, you know, once once you're overplaying the run game, then we'll hit you downfield and we're going to play to
54:30Darnold's strengths. We're going to, you know, we're not going to ask him to kind of dink and dunk. We're going to use him
54:34as an explosive play element. But it's like, you know, Darnold is like Alec Pierce at quarterback or something. You know what I mean? It's like this ele
54:42this this explosive element, >> but the pack and play the pack and play quarterback.
54:47>> The pack and play. Yeah, we've Yeah, we we've already we've already named this the pack and play quarterback. So, he's
54:54>> So, I'm like, okay, so you're you're being managed. The pack and Flores came.
54:58Flores came and he lifted the pack and play up and he said, "The house is yours. Explore and D >> touching light sockets. He's touching
55:06every light socket climbing on the furniture."
55:10It's no good. Uh but JSN, he got shut down last week. So who stepped up? No one.
55:20>> Nobody.
55:21>> There's there's no other option. Like the the offense is designed for like you talk about the engine the offense like
55:27even though the passing game is kind of this counter punch element, JSN is the whole passing game. And when when Darnold wasn't able to get him the ball
55:36and he had 0.82 82 yards per run. JSN Cooper Cup was at 0.92. Shahed was at 0.37. AJ Barner was your playmaker at
55:451.67 yards per hour run. There's just no efficiency in the passing game when they couldn't get going to JSN. So hopefully
55:51we're back in the pack and play. We got you. He's playing with his favorite toy JSN. And and I I completely agree. I
55:57think he's going to have a really strong game here.
55:59>> Yeah, he's got the pinky again.
56:00>> He got the biggie. We're we're we're in good shape. Yeah.
56:04volume would be the only thing like if you're debating whether like do you play Darnold over like some of these other
56:09fringe guys that are like do you I mean I'll be curious if we when we get to Lamar Jackson what's the list of names
56:16that you'd be willing to get to over Lamar Jackson would Darnold would you play Darnold over Lamar Jackson >> no >> okay that's like right on the cutoff
56:25like for me too >> I I wouldn't because so like this team has had this season a 26% pass rate against for the Cardinals. They face a
56:34Falcons run defense that's 24th in DB.
56:36>> Well, and especially now that he's turned it over a little bit.
56:41>> Yeah. Like cuz remember the the Cardinals game, they were like well ahead and they even came out in the second half and were like they threw a
56:48couple passes. He fumbled a snap and then threw a pick and they were like, "Shut this [ __ ] down." Yeah. Like just
56:53like no.
56:55>> Like no.
56:57>> I mean that that's that's what it is.
56:59like this this team's committed to the run obviously, but when like when things aren't going well, like that Cardinals game you're mentioning, they had that's
57:07their lowest pass rate over expected of the season, minus 21%. Um, and they they were minus 12 against the Rams, which
57:15was a tougher game for Darnold. Um, they were minus 8% last week when he was really struggling. So, um, they could
57:26lean into, you know, if the passing game's clicking, they could lean into it a little bit, but the Falcons blitz a
57:31lot. They are going to try to get pressure. I think this is kind of a classic Seahawks type of game plan where
57:37they're going to build it around the run, attack a weak run defense, and have explosive plays off of that. And the
57:42vast majority of those targets will go to JSN. So, to me, it's like JSN bounceback week, but I'm not that interested in the Seahawks passing game
57:50as a whole. I mean, if anyone's going to step up, and I guess Barner did a little bit, but like last week would have been
57:55the week to be like, "Hey, I can play, too." You know, you don't got to just throw to JSN. Like, nope. They what they
58:01learned last week is that they do in fact have to just throw to JSN. Um, unless they're running the ball, which I
58:08think Kenneth Walker was probably like a little bit under the radar last week.
58:12Ben Gretch wrote up how a lot of the usage for Charbanet last week was really blowout garbage time usage and that had
58:19Charbanet actually having more carries than Walker. But Walker's snap share was still pretty solid at 55%. He had a 16% target share. Charbanet wasn't targeted.
58:28Um if this game is competitive, uh Walker does still look to be like that leadback role, you know, 1A, I guess.
58:36But but I think Walker's at least somewhat interesting here. Yeah, through three quarters last week, Walker out snapped Sharbon 31 to 18, out touched
58:44him 16 to8. Uh literally doubled them up. Charbet uh six touches in his touchdown in the fourth quarter um of that. The other thing is we got George
58:54Hani out of the mix because he was hurt.
58:55Uh they brought back uh Miles Gaskin. Uh saw him getting some touches last week.
59:00Uh the other thing too, Walker's gotten a little bit involved in the past game and it's like nothing you're going to
59:05like go crazy about. We didn't talk about this with James Cook, but James Cook's also just gotten a little bit >> not like domin
59:12he's not Deon Han, but you're just like it's something and it's just better than nothing cuz these were guys that were
59:17getting nothing and like nothing.
59:19>> My numbers were target share but 10 12% target shares. Yeah.
59:23>> And like Yeah. So like Walker has at least three catches the pass game and it's just something. It's just something
59:27to tack on and it gives you another outlet to make an explosive too.
59:30>> Uh totally you know obviously because we know like a target is worth more than a handoff. So, >> and Walker, he's 1.34 yards per hour
59:37run. Like, he's you should use him. I mean, it's a little Derk Henry in that like like throw now run straight
59:44forward, >> but it kind of works. Or Jonathan Taylor would be another comp in that in that receiving way for Walker. Um,
59:51>> you just want him to have a little bit just a little bit.
59:53>> A little bit little bit. It's nice.
59:56>> Yeah. So, >> target share this year. Not nothing.
59:59>> Yeah, he he's definitely I'm interested in him. It's just like a bummer cuz like you always have to count on him to have
60:03to does to score the long touchdown and like we haven't got we haven't gotten it yet but like we haven't had one so like
60:09it feels like we're due for like a Kenneth Walker 40 40 yard.
60:13>> I mean I we're not going to chase it.
60:14I'm just saying like >> Yeah. No, I think he's fine. I mean DFS he's 5600. Um he'll be a little bit
60:20owned but they're going to run the ball a bunch. I think he's he's totally fine.
60:24>> Yep. Yep.
60:25>> Uh all right. Falcons side of this. Um, Bejian, I noted, here's a little trend for you. Talk about being due. We're
60:35actually due for a Tyler Algier week.
60:36Going back to week seven, Bejian's share of team attempts. 70% drops to 53.
60:42Spikes to 75, drops to 59. Spikes to 82% drops to 48, and then 72% last week. So, it's Tyler Algier's turn for some reason
60:51to have half the carries. Uh, can we skip this week was what I was uh asking in the walkthrough. I I think we should
60:58because Robinson's been way way way way better >> than Algier in every metric. Even in the success rate where you think maybe
61:05Algier would be better, he hasn't been.
61:07>> Uh breaking tackles, Bejon's been way better. Like there's no reason for them to play Algier. Um and you know, it is
61:14encouraging that we have seen carry shares over the last seven weeks of 70, 75, 82, and 72%. They're they're getting mixed in with carry shares that aren't
61:23encouraging, but we do have that upside with Bejon. Um, this is a really tough matchup, but you know, if if you do have
61:31Bejon getting all the all the carries, which again is pretty realistic possibility, uh, he can overcome it. So, I still have him as a high-end RB1 here.
61:41Um, and yeah, any any thoughts on the what they're doing on the ground? I just think in general Falcons here this week
61:49would be pretty much you just you keep riding Bejian sees long because of course probably a tougher match. He has some outs I think as a receiver here as
61:56well like Seahawks pretty vulnerable to like running backs have 24% of the catches they've allowed. That's the fourth highest. We know be hyperactive
62:04in the passing game. Uh they're 20.
62:06>> Are you interested in him and DFS at all?
62:07>> No because the reason why is because Kurt Cousins against this defense like this is probably this is probably just a
62:13bad offensive spot, right? Like I think you can probably get away in season long with playing Kyle Pitts as like a
62:19floor-based dude. This is all under the assumption London's just out another week, which I believe he will be. Um, but I mean Kirk Cousins's past two
62:27games, his two starts, it's been functional, but because they faced Saints, they faced Jets, they were able to play him under center more, run some
62:36play action stuff, like I just don't think that's an outlet for them here.
62:39This defense is too good. I don't trust Kurt Cousins in this spot. They're at home at least. But I feel like if you
62:47get like a floor-based Bejian game where he catches enough passes and maybe you get into the the the paint once, you're
62:53feeling good. But like would I expect this to be like a 30-point bejon game?
62:56Like probably not. Like so.
62:59>> Yeah. I think the problem for Robinson is that the Seahawks are they're first in rushing DVOA, first in EPA, third in
63:06success rate. This is an awesome run defense >> and they're awesome against outside zone which is like the whole plane has been
63:11built out outside zone runs in this offense.
63:14>> Okay, that's that's pretty scary. And then you have >> he's first in an outside zone rate. 66% of his runs are outside zone.
63:22>> The Falcons just kind of do what they do too. Like they're they're very sort of static offensively.
63:26>> This is just a tough spot for them.
63:27>> Yeah, the Seahawks pass defense is awesome. They're second in passing DVO, third in EPA, and fifth in success rate.
63:35And yet they're a pass funnel. Teams have a 69% pass rate against them. 2% POE, 2% shift to the pass. That I think
63:42tells you just how good the run defense is. Tells you that Seahawks are generally playing playing from ahead.
63:47That's all like bad setup for for a running back. Now, Bjon has enough of a receiving role that he'll be fine. But
63:53yeah, as far as ceiling goes, it's tough.
63:57>> It's tough when a run defense is so good that teams are passing against an elite pass defense, right?
64:02>> Yeah. Yeah, I mean he'd he he could potentially have like a Christian McCaffrey type outcome in this game, but like I like you still need the offense
64:09to be functional on like the level that like Brock Perie even had it back in week one, you know, and I just don't
64:15know if Kurt Cousins is capable of that.
64:16The two highest scoring games allowed, Chris McCaffrey had 23 PPR points and Rashad White had 23, but he had two one-yard touchdown runs in the game. So
64:26like, you know, that's kind of what you have to have happen. Like you just have to have someone knock on the door. And
64:29then and with Bjan, we don't even know if that's like a lock because of the Algier stuff, right? The volatility of
64:35when when do they want to give him a touch at the one yard line or not.
64:38>> Maybe this is the week for uh them to give Alier play Alier. Save Bejian for next week.
64:44>> Yeah, we'll pick up the pieces.
64:45Hopefully they play on Thursday night the following week too. So we might not even get London back next week.
64:51>> Oh god.
64:53Um all right, I think that's enough Falcons. Tough tough spot. Titans at Browns. Um, >> oh boy.
64:59>> Oh boy. Oh boy. Uh, okay. Where where to start? Uh, let's let's start Browns where I went I'm I did I did it to Shadore. I did the
65:111999 comparisons. I went I went back. He has a 27% success rate looking at all the quarterbacks back to 1999.
65:21Uh, he only has 76 dropbacks. So, this is somewhat unfair, but I I still did it. Uh only Luke Faulk and Craig Krenzel have
65:30lower success rates than uh Shador Sanders so far.
65:33>> Dylan Gabriel's been like bad and specifically bad in terms of success rate and still been far far better than Shidor Sanders. Um looking at how he's
65:44playing, he's got a minus 7% CPOE, a 51% completion percentage. Uh he has a 3.30 time to throw. He is allowing pressure
65:56per PFF at the highest rate in the league. So, he's taking forever to get rid of the ball. He's allowing pressure.
66:02He's not accurate. And he's attempting deep passes at a very high rate, 15% behind only JJ McCarthy and Russell Wilson. So,
66:10>> everything he did in college.
66:12>> Yeah. This isn't NFL football like this.
66:15It's like it's literally he's playing JJ McCarthy ball. We see it's not working in Minnesota. It's not working in Cleveland either. Um he's been less uh
66:25inefficient than McCarthy, but his success rate's lower. Like you you would be happy to have JJ McCarthy success rate if you were Shador. So this is like
66:33creating a huge huge well lowering the floor for the Browns in a huge way. Um, and basically it comes down to can
66:42Quinchon Judkins get fed enough against not a not great run defense um, and survive a passing offense that's not going to be efficient and probably very
66:53inconsistent. Like here here's a way to put this. Judkins ranks running back 56 in success rate at 36%.
67:01That's still significantly higher than Shador Sanders success rate at 27%. So, like their inconsistent running back is probably their most consistent way to
67:11move the ball this week. Um, which is, you know, pretty concerning. Obviously, don't have much interest in the passing game except for Harold Fannon who uh was up
67:23to 93% route participation last week, even with David and Jooku playing at 37%. Um, you know, fill in that tight end spot. I
67:31think he's he's interesting. But even then, it's mostly like I'm hoping he hits my lineup for best baseball. I'm not like super excited to jam Harold
67:40Fannon. Any thoughts on the Browns?
67:42>> No, I mean, like I said, I I'm still willing to trade the bad success rate for just a few more explosives in this
67:48offense, but you know, they do have four passing plays.
67:52>> It's a few, man.
67:53>> But they only have two. They only had two before he took over. So, at least, like, that was always my one thing. I
67:57was like, "Hey, at least I might have a couple exciting plays here now." Like, >> yeah, but those plays mostly came
68:02against the Raiders.
68:03>> Well, H Fannon got Hey, we got a 30 yard last week, the touchdown, you know, like, you know, um yeah, Fannon, he'd be
68:10he'd have to be more like full PPR, tight end premium stuff. Uh little bit little bit interest on DraftKings, but he's priced right next to our guy Brett
68:17Strange. We're just a little more bullish on >> uh I think we we'd both be in agreement there. you're at least I I think like
68:24again like the tootin stuff like you just you you overly you come away overly bullish though on Fannon's long-term prospects with the way the season's
68:31played out. I mean he already has relegated David and Jooku. Um he the last two weeks with Sher Sanders at least has been targeted on 26% of his
68:39routes that would be that would lead the NFL over the season at tight end. U so at least have something. Yeah, I think
68:45you just >> proof of everything. This is a guy that led the the whole nation in receiving yards last year, comes out in the NFL
68:53and has a productive rookie season in a disastrous climate and makes a player that's an already established good NFL player kind of non-relevant. I think it
69:01we feel good about him moving forward, but like you, all we care about is that the Browns are favored at home and
69:07they've had three wins this year and in the three wins, Quinn Sean Judkins has been an RB1 in all three wins. He's
69:14averaging just under 20 PPR points in all three wins. And that's kind of what we're taking away from this game. They
69:20are only The Browns are three and a half point home favorites and have a team total of 18 and a half points.
69:28This is like this game is an abject disaster. It's a 33 point game total.
69:34>> But Quinn Sean Judkins is going to get the football a lot. Even if he's falling forward for two yards, >> it should not matter. like he he he
69:40could average a yard and a half a carry in this game and they're probably still going to hand it off to him 25 times
69:46>> and they should. It's good offense for them.
69:50>> Titans have been good like of late against the run like uh we saw we talked about ETN like they completely in the
69:56beginning of that game just erased ETN.
69:59Um so they have >> they're better against the run in the past. They're just they're not great.
70:03>> The problem is is they're never winning so teams just keep running on them, right? So, like you, that's why I said
70:08like Judkins, he's not going to rush for like five and a half yards per carry.
70:11And if he does, then wow, we're going to have a real good week. We're eating.
70:15>> Yeah.
70:16>> Yeah. We're eating real good. But like they're never in a position to get teams out of the run because they're not good.
70:21And if the Browns aren't coaxed to where like they could they're allowed to keep running, they're just going to keep doing it.
70:26>> Yeah. Yeah. 100%. And then like on the other side of this game, I mean, Titans, any any optimism here going against the
70:33Browns?
70:34No, >> because LA last week was the week you would have maybe talked yourself into some optism and I ran a little bit of
70:40can award ward and we talked about >> we didn't talk about it here but >> we didn't do a show but we would have
70:44because we talked about it like I said noto won with he played him like he was in that price point. It turned out like
70:49it was you needed Tyrod at that price point than Cam Ward. Uh but the the thesis was there and he bricked and like
70:57dude we're on full sack record alert here. Like oh my god dude this dude's been sacked uh on 28 and a half% of his
71:06pressures. That's 32nd in the league.
71:08Only Gino Smith's higher. Browns third in pressure rate.
71:11>> They're uh they lead the NFL in sack rate and the dead even. So Cam Warden sacked on 28 and a half% of his
71:18pressures. The Browns have a sack on 28 and a half of the percent of their pressures. It's the highest rate in the
71:23league. The only quarterback that has a worse pressure to sack rate than Cam Ward is Gino Smith. The Browns sacked him 10 times.
71:32Like we're on this could be the record.
71:34Like it could happen.
71:35>> It could happen here. There was that clip of JC Laam. I don't know if you saw it from the game last week where like
71:41the like dude he didn't even like get in his set and the guy just ran past him and like >> it was like oh my god man. But but like
71:49this is not that pressure to sack rate.
71:51Like when people talk about uh the sacks being a quarterback stat like that's what they mean. There's pressure to sack rate is on the quarterback to
72:01>> Well, you talked about Shador. Shador like uh I think PFF has Shador charted at 40% of his pressures are his own
72:07doing like >> Yeah, that's what I was saying.
72:10>> That's McCarthy. McCarthy is the same thing like >> Yeah. Well, that's that's that's time to throw stuff where you're like, there did
72:17not need to be a pressure on this drop back, but you sat there long enough until there was one. Yeah. So, that's
72:22that's a problem. Um, that's not necessarily Cam Ward's problem. Cam Ward is like, okay there.
72:30>> His problem is when pressure comes and he's behind an offensive line that's not great, but >> they're 14th in quick pressure rate and
72:3814th in pass block win rate. So, this is not a terrible offensive line. Like this is a middle of the road offensive line
72:44by those metrics. They're 21st impression rate. So maybe they're below average.
72:48>> They invested a ton of capital in this.
72:50Oh, Cushenberry is out by the way in this game.
72:52>> Okay. Yeah. Yeah, that's right. That center Kushenberry. Yeah, he's out. So that's >> Well, you know, they used the two picks
72:57on Skansky and Laam. Laam looks real rough.
73:00>> Scransky's okay.
73:01>> Yeah. Scransky looks fine. Uh Laam looks real rough.
73:06>> Yeah. Yeah. So anyway, I mean Yeah. So, the offensive line will actually be worse than usual with Kushberry out.
73:11It's a good note. But, um, it's not been horrible. The issue is that like if Cam Ward gets pressured, then it becomes a
73:17sack. That's >> I mean, that's the Gino thing. Like, it's almost easier to picture with Gino cuz he the pocket implo. He just sits
73:25there. He's like, I don't know.
73:27>> Get the ball. Get rid of the ball.
73:28>> He's a massochist, man. He's like, God, I love getting hit, dude. But it's like can't wait to get drilled. Like, Jesus
73:34Christ. He's like, get rid of the ball, man.
73:36>> Ball, dude. Yeah. So Ward is gonna take a bunch of sacks here. I think that's pretty clear.
73:42>> Yep.
73:43>> Uh I don't know. And the other thing about the Browns is that they have they're like the Seahawks. They they
73:48have an elite run defense. Second DBA, second in EPA, first in success rate.
73:53You still run on the Browns because uh it's it's very scary to pass on them, but I don't know if the Titans do.
74:00>> Yeah. Two yard runs better than a sack.
74:02>> Yeah. Right. But but the the problem with the Titans is that they they've passed at such high rates like week
74:09after week. So I'm not sure that they and they don't really have a good run game. Um so I mean Pard has just been
74:16really rough and he's he's coming off 71% of the carry. So it will be him. But I mean he's got a 38% success rate,
74:22running back 47. It's just hard to see like how there's any offense really on the the Titans side unless like their
74:29probably their best path is honestly to just let Ward sling it and do kind of what the Patriots did with Drake May
74:36where they like they let him take the sacks kind of but they they were like when he's not getting sacked we're going
74:41to we're going to try to get big plays downfield. That works.
74:44>> He needs to be Drake May >> but I don't think he's Drake May. So it's it's sort of like but that's what I
74:50would do. I'd be like do a Drake May impression. take your 10 sacks and see like >> Well, the Raiders did that too much and
74:56we could win.
74:56>> And to be fair to the Raiders in that game, if you remember that game, like man, they had opportunities with Trey
75:02Tucker in that game and they would just, you know, Gino left them on the field.
75:06>> Yeah. Yeah.
75:07>> The problem is the Titans just don't have like a dude. Uh they're >> they don't have a dude.
75:12>> They're a split backfield. They're split tight end room and they are like a a some of parts wide receiver room.
75:19I do wonder if Gunner Helm like might be something eventually. Uh >> yeah, >> he's looked fine.
75:25>> He's looked all right and his >> even even like the tight ends from like an efficiency stance is the problem is
75:30like there's just not one of them. If there was just one of them, it would be okay.
75:34>> Yeah, he forced a split last week. Uh he got up to I think 50 Yeah, 52% round participation. Uh, Chig was at 55 and
75:44Helm this year has been 1.51 yards per hour run at the 22% targets per hour run. So, I don't know if you if you play
75:52in um uh three tight end tight end premium league.
75:58>> Yeah.
75:58>> But anyway, someone to keep an eye on, I would say. Um, all right, let's move on.
76:03>> Easy game.
76:04>> Yeah, easy game. Fannon, Judkins, and uh nothing else. Or, you know, maybe some sack props. You got any Garrett props?
76:13What's his What's his line gonna be?
76:15Three and a half.
76:16>> I Yeah, he's probably even Well, for even I I bet it's even just set at one and a half like the base cuz like his
76:23half sack is probably going to because I remember against the Raiders. I bet it's one and a half. It was something stupid
76:27too. Uh >> so it's like Yeah, >> I think it was one and a half. I think it was one and a half against the
76:32Raiders >> and it I think it was still negative I think it was like minus 125 or like minus 135. So, I imagine it's gonna be
76:38the same. Like, you're not even You have to bet like I think >> him to get like three sacks to even have
76:44like something even probably worth like having some real fun money on.
76:48>> Yeah. Yeah. Um, all right. Commanders at Vikings. Looks like we're getting Jane Daniels back for this game. Um,
76:56thoughts on on how he'll be uh deployed against this Brian Flores defense. It's tricky because the one thing about Jayen Daniels is when we even seen him this
77:06year, he was just okay. Like he wasn't bad, but he was just okay. He only had one week higher than QB13. Like we
77:12weren't living the spike Jane Daniels.
77:14>> He's been worse than Mariota in EPA and uh success rate.
77:18>> And he's been banged up. He's coming off another multi-week injury. Are they going to try to run him? I would
77:23question it. Brian Flores has been real hot. This defense has been really good.
77:28Is it a spot where they can just kind of stick with the run? There's a lot of question marks here. The one thing I
77:33would say that at least if you're bullish on Daniels or like you want to go back to him just because like the
77:37fantasy stuff, you're like hoping he runs around is like this will be the game where like they kind of have like
77:42their full offense and like we did see a little bit with the Broncos last week on Sunday night. It's like when they do
77:47have all these guys they they were in the NFC Championship game last year like they were a good offense. So when they
77:52do kind of have >> Terry was back >> and Terry was balling and you have like a healthier dbo than we had in the
77:58middle of the year. So, like that's the one if you're making the bullcase, you'll say, "Hey, Jayen Daniels has all the guys again." So, like let's let's
78:04see what I think that's if you're making the bullcase, that's what you're hanging on to. Um, and then you're just counting
78:09on like, "Hey, JJ McCarthy like >> is not going to do his thing." Like, we're at least a spot where like we're
78:14not going to be chasing like a huge negative game script either. So, like we're going to be in our base offense
78:18and not like Helter Skelter.
78:21I also think it's possible that JJ McCarthy keeps the Vikings from like imploding in this game. Like last week
78:32it wasn't a football game.
78:33>> No, >> J.J McCarthy is not I'm not I'm not touting J.J McCarthy. I'm not going to be playing JJ McCarthy, but
78:39>> yeah, Jonathan James, we should say.
78:40Yeah.
78:41>> Yeah. Sorry, Jonathan James. See the take take a week off. I forget all the bits.
78:46Okay.
78:48>> Uh Jonathan James are not is not going to be good enough to have me interested in playing him or stacking him or
78:55anything like that.
78:56>> Well, he's getting played this week, too.
78:57>> I know he will. I don't think it's going to be me.
79:00>> Uh because he's he's so cheap. He's so cheap. Um >> people and people want to play Jefferson because it's the cheapest he's been
79:07since the rookie year.
79:11Jefferson you can kind of talk me into um because of how bad this commander's defense is and how slow they are and
79:18like Jefferson is kind of muddled through until it was Bromer. Um so I think like this could be a bounceback spot for Jefferson.
79:29>> I'm playing him in season long but if if we get to Sunday and he's going to be like 20%. I'm not doing that.
79:35>> I'm not doing that. I'm not doing that.
79:37But I I'm intrigued by Jefferson. I'm intrigued by Aaron Jones a little bit more for season long, I think. Like, but
79:43I could see I can just see the Vikings I've I compared it to like the Raiders.
79:47Like, can you get back to being like the Raiders offense, you know, like just I'm not not too high of a bar here, but just
79:53like don't be a nonfunctional NFL offense against this Commander defense and you can put up some points at least enough to keep this game kind of
80:02interesting. So I as much as like cuz look if if you have Brian Flores cooking and the Vikings can't put up any points,
80:10this game's just going to suck.
80:12>> Yes.
80:12>> But if they're like the Bears game. No, it's it's like literally going to be the Bears Vikings game.
80:17>> Totally. But but I I I guess I have a little bit more hope that maybe we get um and and it's more about like the game
80:25environment and and Jaden Daniels having like enough pressure on him to put up points and um and and we get a full four
80:33full full four quarters this week uh unlike against the Seahawks.
80:39>> I do have some optimism for that. Um, and and I I was definitely encouraged by Terry McLaren's return last week. And
80:45then you've got JJ, sorry, Jaden Daniels return.
80:49>> Uh, this week it seems like kind of a high upside little little skinny stack. 6,000 for Daniels. Uh, 5200 for McLaren. I'm I'm a
81:00little intrigued by that, I have to say.
81:03>> Yeah. I mean, I'm intrigued by McLaren, too, because the the you look at two uh his past three games, 5.3 yards per run,
81:113.4 yards per run, 2.9 yards per out run. Like, he's still good. And the last two games came against the Broncos and
81:18the Chiefs. Like, pretty good defenses.
81:21They've been good, really good defenses against the wide receivers this year.
81:24And we're going to need that again because Minnesota, the pass defense the last five weeks has been incredible. Um they haven't even allowed a touchdown to
81:32a wide receiver in four games. Um so like we are going to need it, but I am interested at because the price point in
81:38the the player the talent of the player and the price like we're not going to get it any cheaper uh even after this
81:43week because they were price the pricing was set on Sunday night. So like they never had a chance to to juice him up.
81:48So I'm more interested in McLaren kind of as a one-off but I do am interested still in the stack just because you can
81:53get the rushing if we do have it because we just don't know. It's just volatile.
81:56But 6K >> is kind of worth a little bit of a nibble as well. Um, >> yeah, >> 6K you don't like need the rushing, you
82:05know what I mean? Like it's >> it would really help, but like it's not Yeah, he's not priced at a level where
82:12he has to be full Jaden Daniels, I would say.
82:14>> Yeah, he just hasn't had the spike week even when the small sample and it's like are we expecting him now coming off his
82:20second injury to do it? But the other thing too is that since the two weeks since Dan Quinn took over, they've been
82:25game. Like they're not a good defense, but like they're kind of like the Cowboys in a sense where they went from
82:30like terrible to like okay >> and that could just be because they played Bix and Tua.
82:36>> Yeah, I think it might be.
82:37>> Very well. Could be.
82:38>> I think it might be because the the issue with for them >> but what Jonathan James But also Jonathan is where does Jonathan James
82:45slide into that hierarchy?
82:48Yeah, this is like one of the when you write up the games every week, you don't it's like the sequencing doesn't work
82:52where you're like, I found a thing like this defense is overrated. It's like great. Well, they play Jonathan James McCarthy this week, so just save it in
83:00your brain for next week when you >> because they did limit Nicks and Tua. I mean, Nicks Knicks through the he had 70
83:08of his yards in overtime in the in the overtime drive. Like, he was actually pretty bad in that game for most of the
83:13game. Uh, so it's like, all right, like how much credit do you give Dan Quinn or how much do you put on the quarterbacks?
83:18It's tough to say, right? Like it's >> they get they get the uh the Giants, then the Eagles, then the Cowboys. So
83:26maybe maybe the Cowboys by the time we get to them, they're going to be uh an overrated defense.
83:32I because even even me like if you think this game's going to play out kind of as it does where like even if it's like you
83:37say like that we get just like the Vikings are functional and they're fine to the degree like Raiders adjacent >> then like kind of like is there anything
83:46here with like Chris Rodriguez like they able to run more?
83:51They they I mean so the Vikings are a massive runf funnel. Teams are averaging a 52% uh >> pass most running back runs per game
84:01because they're bad.
84:02>> Well, as a team as a team >> they're bad and you don't want to uh pass against Flores right now. So now
84:11the thing though with the Vikings defense that's kind of interesting is they have this crazy blitz driven pass rush. They're first in quick pressure
84:18rate, first in pressure rate, first in blitz per drop back, they're third in pass rush win rate. So this the the
84:24pressure is like nuts, but they're 30th in coverage grade and they're only like a middle of the pack defense overall.
84:30Like they're 17th in passing DVO. Like this is not an elite pass defense.
84:34They've been better recently, but they're also they're going to be kind of boom bust in nature week to week and play to play. Like you can you can
84:41punish this defense because the secondary is not so great. It's just about like their ability to get pressure and confuse quarterbacks is elite. And
84:48so a lot of teams are just like, "Yeah, we're just going to run the ball because what are you going to do? You can't
84:53score points." So, uh, that generally this is set up like if we had an actual running back here, I would be very
85:02excited about that running back. But who who do we have? Chris Rodriguez had 33% of the carries last week. Like what? I
85:08don't there's not that much we can do with that.
85:11>> Yeah. in a week before in Spain he did have 16 touches and so like you know the Broncos game kind of got away from if
85:18the game script's a little better.
85:19Obviously that's your only outcome though is is that I'm just fishing if you got Christian McAffrey or someone on buy. I'm just down here looking at
85:28>> Sure.
85:28>> I could I could see that.
85:32>> Yeah. If you if you were playing Tyrone Tracy and now he's on by, you can slot in Chris Rodriguez.
85:39Um, on the Viking side, do you think people are actually gonna play Jonathan James DFS?
85:46>> Right now, he's tracking for Hyo pitched him on our show. I said I I wasn't going to do it, but I at least said I at least
85:53entertain the Justin Jefferson side.
85:55>> Uh, I just want to see where the ownership goes because obviously when the Vikings hit and eventually Justin Jefferson I still think will have a good
86:02game to close the season and you would objectively say this would be one.
86:04>> This would be one. this would be the >> but I also don't want to play the Vikings if everyone else is playing the
86:09Vikings.
86:10>> Me neither, man.
86:12>> So, I want to just follow it. But I think in season long you're still just gritting your teeth and playing Justin
86:17Jefferson and you would say like this would be a spot where all the targets because targets have never been a problem throughout this except for last
86:23week, but last week you can just throw out the Different >> just throw that out of the window. Uh but so I'm at least open to the idea. I
86:31just want to see where his ownership is.
86:32I think the price is fine, but I definitely don't want to play him if he's going to be like the second highest
86:36owned guy on the slate.
86:38>> I didn't get to share with you on uh on the pod, but the nugget I had for Bromer was that he was 10th in QBR last year in
86:46the Big 10.
86:47>> Yes.
86:49>> All his practice stuff was was real bad, man. It's like >> and there was like a that was like excited for him to play and maybe in
86:57another world just not throwing him into the in Seattle uh was like there was a better >> obviously that's like a horrible thing
87:03to do to a UDFA like it's it's really almost immoral um you know God I mean that's a highlight that highlight's
87:13going to live forever he when that underhand yes >> it reminded me of the you I'm a little but the Gary your premium like Super
87:20Bowl highlight where he picks up the snap and just throws it over threw it over his head and it's just like that
87:24was happened.
87:26>> I was like, "Oh boy, I was like, "Oh boy."
87:30>> And it was house like immediately housed. Uh, everyone in DFS that played Seahawks D got like a reward. Uh, >> I had him in a main event team and it
87:39like you feel so dirt. It felt so wrong.
87:41You were like, "This is so cool." But I was like, "This is everything I stand against. This is why I don't want team
87:44defenses." Like 35 point defense is the dumbest [ __ ] I ever seen. But then I'm getting them and I'm like, "Oh, this is
87:49so good." like it. We actually >> This is That was one of those moments where I was like that, you know, it's
87:57Thanksgiving. We have we had family and something. It's like people don't watch football. I've got the football on. It's like everyone gather around like gather.
88:05There's a thing, >> dude. There was a sequence.
88:07>> There was a sequence where the Seahawks got an interception, fumbled the interception so Brasmer got the ball back and then they just scored more
88:14defensive points at the turnaround. Got like sacked them the next play.
88:17It's like, >> dude, Jaylen Naylor put his shoulder through the ball. It was It was a sick tackle. That That was He had Bromer had
88:26over He had almost minus 28 EPA.
88:31>> Minus 28.
88:33>> Like that's like a damn good scoring day for for for another team. He just subtracted >> from his own team. It's uh it was wild.
88:41Um yeah, and it could have been worse. I mean, that Jaylen Naylor thing, that's that helped his EPA out. That's That's
88:46He had some good luck to get to minus 27.
88:50>> Anyway, uh one of the small silver linings from last week is that Jordan Addison had a 30% targets per out run.
88:58Um I went to check his price on DraftKings. It's 4,900. It felt like I had what six Justin Jefferson targets.
89:07>> Yeah. Yeah. True. And I was like when I went to check Addison I was like I don't know why I expected to see like 3,300
89:15but that's when I would have been excited. 49 I think I'm I'm out. But he did get targeted a bunch which is
89:20something.
89:20>> Yeah. I think for me it would be if you're doing the Jonathan James you can't help yourself and you're like I'm
89:25going to do the commanders thing and like >> it's got to be with Jefferson, right?
89:28>> It's Yeah, it would only be I wouldn't double him though. Like I don't think that he's good enough to take two to the
89:33promised land.
89:34He's good enough to I mean like straight up if you were going to play McCarthy at 4700, >> but did you do it naked?
89:44>> Maybe because that was kind of the like we saw like I talk about Noto did it with Cam Ward just played him and took
89:50the bullet and it he put so much around the rest of the lineup that he that he hit that you need the stack. So
89:57>> yeah, it's just like it I don't know.
89:59>> I keep just come back this and there's just like I I usually keep a tighter quarterback pool. uh like typically four
90:04to five guys and like I already have six dudes I like and that's not even counting making a Lawrence lineup. So
90:10like I just don't see how I get to him.
90:12So I'm just monitoring the Jefferson stuff to see how much I want to dabble in like mixing him >> uh around. But I'm definitely interested
90:20in Terry uh in this matchup. Like I said some seasoning you got to chase uh the other all the other guys.
90:27>> We saw the Eagles passing game get going here. like you you can you can actually burn the Vikings with some with some big
90:34plays downfield.
90:35>> Mhm. Yeah. 5200. You're just not we're just not going to do better uh to take a shot. Like I if he fails at that price,
90:41I'm not mad.
90:42>> Like all right, yeah, cool.
90:44>> Anything on the the Vikings running game? Because I mean we could see them it it would be it would make a lot of
90:50sense for them to run the ball and they have been running the ball a lot more.
90:53>> That's what I think they'll probably try to do.
90:55>> Yeah. Um Kevin Oonnell's really changed up. He's consistently been pass first like his entire career with the Vikings.
91:02But uh >> I mean when you're getting this type of quarterback play like we talked about like Shadur and stuff like you have no
91:08choice but to kind of >> try to mitigate the the damage >> minus 14% pass rate to expected against the Bears minus N against the Packers uh
91:18the last two times we saw McCarthy. So >> yeah. And Mason's looked better since he's been more of like a compliment.
91:24he's been like better. I think they'll probably go back to I don't know if we'll see like the full uh you know
91:30Aaron Jones kind of run out that we had just because they've tried to do that and he's gotten really banged up like
91:35two different times. So I just know but like he's still like last week though still had 75% of the backfield runs 20%
91:42target share over 20% of targets. So I still think he's a fine floor guy. Uh and if you get a touchdown you're
91:48obviously excited to see what kind of upset you get.
91:51>> I think they're going to try to run a lot. They're gonna try to run a lot.
91:55Jones got banged up last week, which um you know, >> maybe he's an older back.
92:00>> So, yeah, >> lead off this next one. Uh let me give me one second here. I don't know if you
92:07can see like this. I got >> I saw daylight savings time is like come for me here. So, I'm going to close this
92:12blind real fast. So, uh I'll let you lead us off here and I'll jump right back in. Give me just two seconds.
92:16>> I'll lead off with the Jets. We're talking Jets at do Dolphins at Jets. Um, so the Jets are coming off a win.
92:23They're coming off a win where they had uh a 1% pass rate over expected, 4% pass rate expected on first and 10. They're
92:32actually willing to pass the ball with Trod Taylor at quarterback. Taylor has not been good, but he's been non- disastrous. He had a 56th percentile
92:40mark in EPA per play last week, 44th percentile success rate. Um, I'm comparing this a little bit to the Cardinals where you're getting a team
92:50that had a quarterback, they were fully hiding and is now at the point where they're like, "Okay, this dude's doing like what we expect. It's not going
92:59great, but we can actually like let the dude pass the ball." They are the Jets, so they're not super pass heavy like the
93:05Cardinals are, but they're significantly more passoriented than they were uh for most of the season. So Taylor um you know is kind of like facilitating
93:16production and I'm intrigued by him from that lens. Uh AD Mitchell, John Mechy, these are our top two receivers. We'll we'll get to them. But the guy I
93:27actually want to mention first is Bree Hall who had 88% of snaps against the Falcons, 68% of the carries. He only had
93:3651% route participation, but he had a season high 14 pass blocking snaps.
93:43Isaiah Davis had 5% route participation and 12% of snaps. He was not that third down role that we've seen all season.
93:51Was actually Bree Hall out there all the time doing everything, but because they were playing the Falcons who blitz a bunch, he was in there passing. Dolphins
93:59blitz a bunch too, but they've already played the Dolphins, the Jets in week four. And uh Hall had just four pass
94:06blocking reps there, 17 routes, and that was with just 63% route participation.
94:11Um 63% of the snaps, excuse me. So if he gets more snaps, we could see plenty of routes, you know, totally healthy
94:19running back route participation, like 55, maybe even 60%. Like he could set a a season high here and route participation pretty easily. get up
94:27above 10% target share, 15%, something like that would be really nice to see with a bunch of carries against a bad
94:34defense. Uh I think Bree Hall set up really well here and I think last week was was a lot more bullish in terms of
94:40the usage than uh maybe people realize because he was used to pass block a lot which was probably game plan specific
94:49>> since the since the trade deadline passed. I mean this is his fourth game in a row. He's had over 80% of the
94:53backfield touches. He had 100 last week.
94:55Uh 20 touches in four of his past five games. We wish that Tyrod would stop scrambling a little bit, but uh you know
95:02because Tyrod's 26th in running back target rate because he's he's running a little bit. Uh Fields was uh fifth in the league. He was at 25% uh throwing to
95:10running back. So that's that's the one kind of thing we've traded off a little bit.
95:15>> Fields Fields did throw to running backs more than people realize.
95:18>> Even in Chicago, even I remember even in the coming over I was Yeah. And I was like, "Oh yeah, he did throw to running
95:23backs." a good amount. Uh but yeah, Ty Tyrod's been a little more like I'll just take off or or honestly what is is
95:29Tyrod just better throwing outside is really what it is. Like he's Yeah, >> you saw like they were just peppering out routes to add Mitchell last week.
95:36Like >> dude, they're feeding him.
95:39>> Yeah. So it's like that probably is it more than him scrambling is that he's just better in context of versus Fields
95:45is that Fields can only check it down.
95:47You can't outside.
95:49>> I would say that's probably more true more truth than that. So, we'd like a little more catches. Um, this game's at
95:55home. Should probably be relatively tight, especially with with Taylor playing. So, like the run out for uh potentially for Hall just hopefully we
96:03get a little more pass catches than we've gotten recently.
96:06>> Hall's 6,500 and doesn't look like he's going to get played a ton. Josh Jacobs, who we'll get to, is 6,800. He's a he's
96:13a very strong play this week. So, I get that like maybe there's not as much enthusiasm for Hall, but honestly, like
96:19this is as high an upside spot that we've had for Hall all year. Um, I'm I'm pretty excited for him treating him as a
96:26as a running back one in the rankings.
96:28And I'll definitely play him in DFS this week.
96:31>> You got kind of Judkins around there.
96:33Um, people will still play Chase Brown, I think, because of the game.
96:37>> Yeah, Hall's like a no-brainer over Brown for me.
96:41>> Yeah, he would be for me, too. I mean, Tyrod's in play still, too. I think at his price, you don't have to stack him.
96:48If you don't want, you can, obviously.
96:50Uh, I think in seasonl long stuff, he's like fine as like a high Q, like floor-based QB2 that could get you are a
96:56QB1 upside in the right circumstances.
96:58Dolphins are uh 24th in rushing yards uh allowed to actually they're 30th in rushing points allowed per game to quarterbacks. So, we have a nice little
97:07baseline to work from. And they've allowed four straight QB1s and the past two have been Marcus Miota and Tyler Shuck. So Ty T Tyron is definitely in
97:15play again. I think here it's it it doesn't it might seem like on a surface point chasing, but I think it he does
97:20check the box.
97:21>> I don't think it's I don't think it is.
97:23And this this defense Justin Fields was efficient against this defense. 73rd percentile mark in EPA per play. Taylor is fieldsy in his profile. He's got a
97:33really long time to throw. He does run a bit. Uh he takes deep shots. So it's nice to see that Fields was actually
97:40efficient here. And like most quarterbacks have been efficient against the Dolphins this season. They're they're not a good defense. Uh 30th in
97:47DVOA against the pass, 29th EPA, dead last success rate. So the fact that the Jets were just a little bit more willing
97:55to pass, got to win, right? They It's like they're trying to find things that actually work.
97:59>> Yeah. Aaron winning games.
98:01>> Yeah, he does.
98:02>> No matter what we think about him, he's trying >> No, they're trying to do I don't think it's gonna work, frankly. But they're
98:09trying to do the year one Lions culture building thing and then like, you know, figure out the guys they want to move
98:14forward with and, you know, kind of change change the culture of the Jets and and start winning games year two, year three. Um,
98:24again, I don't think it's going to work because, yeah, the the roster is not good enough and I'm not sure the
98:29coaching is either, but they're trying to win game like that.
98:32That's I I do I do like that. Um, and I think they have a chance to win this game as well. I mean, and at the very
98:40least to be very competitive here. So, uh, AD Mitchell, they are absolutely feeding him right now. 29% targets per out run against the Patriots, 24%
98:49against the Ravens, 28% last week. And against the Patriots, every single target he saw was a first read target.
98:56Against the Ravens, he had a 17% first- read target rate. And then again last week, all all of his targets were first
99:02reads, 28% first read target rate. He's clearly a guy that they are calling plays with uh in mind. He also he's 91st
99:12percentile on open score. He's got 1.96 yards per out run.
99:15>> That's how you get targeted.
99:18>> He's got a 25% targets per out run, 24% first return target rate, which is elite. Like everything about AD Mitchell
99:25right now, you'd say like this dude, this dude's like a number one wide receiver. He's running all the routes now. the team is talking him up like,
99:33"Yeah, we specifically traded for him because we think he's a good player and we're treating him like our true ex receiver number one.
99:41Why are we not >> why are we not jamming this guy?"
99:44>> And a trade for Sauce Gardner, too.
99:46Like, yeah, you know, like we traded our best player on defense >> of our team, but like but he had to be
99:53part of the deal. Like he had to be part of it. like you. So >> now we did have to throw we did Yeah,
100:01>> it was the money ball thing. It was the money ball like it was like Jonah Hill was telling like you got to get Adie
100:05Mitchell back like they they were hanging up the phone like they had the deal with with uh uh YK I I lost the
100:12name of Ballard. He's talking to Ballard and he's like like hang up on him. Tell me what Andy Mitchell too.
100:19That happened. I I in my head this all happened like hey we want to get >> I think I think it's smart because like
100:25he they they had to know that like they were willing to part with AD Mitchell given you know that he lost in that
100:31game. So it's it was smart to get him back. Um >> and I think the way Alec Pierce was playing that they kind of the Colts were
100:38looking at it like oh wow like in the future like we maybe just want to pay Alec Pierce >> right. The one thing I'll note with
100:46Mitchell is that his double coverage rates since joining the Jets are 14, 10, and 5%. He's not seen a ton of defensive
100:53attention. He is a deep threat. Um, and he was he was double covered in week one when he was on the Colts. He was only
100:59out there 15% of routes, but he was double covered 40% of the time, and he'd been typically double covered at a high
101:04rate with the Colts as kind of this rotational deep threat guy. So, it's possible that the Dolphins just work to take him away in a way that's that he
101:14hasn't had to deal with. And like, yeah, he's getting open, but he's not having like the most difficult defensive matchups. Um, he's not being treated
101:24like a number one defense, number one wide receiver by defenses yet. And if he does start getting treated like that, then maybe
101:30>> John Mechy actually gets a little bit more of the targets. and Mchi has been he's had target rates um of 13 23 and
101:3720% since since in a full-time role with the Jets. Um so he's also someone like to note where he's running all the
101:45routes now. He's at 98% last week. Um and I think would stand a benefit if if teams decide that AD Mitchell is is
101:53someone they want to focus on taking away.
101:57>> He's like uh the full PPR guy if you catch the zone coverage stuff. Uh Miami does run a lot of too high too when
102:03they're not blitzing. Um it's funny like we're starting to see like the shift. It was like when we went from like the Fang
102:08Gio defense and now the next iteration is like we're seeing like the Brian Flores style where it's a lot of blitzing and then too high behind it
102:15like the Todd BS is starting to incorporate that too. Like Anthony Weaver does a lot of this.
102:19>> Uh but John Meti just five areas per target like every everything for him has been real shallow.
102:25>> Uh so like you need him like full PPR and you need a lot of volume from him which you could get here. We could have
102:30a high game.
102:32>> So, he's on the board if like you need a full PPR dude like deeper league. You're just hoping for some catches. Maybe he
102:38gets in the box. He's like he's definitely on on the board. I don't think I would chase like Tyra Tyrod doubles like people were doing this
102:44week. I think it would just be like Mitchell or you know >> I I would withhaul. I'd be I'd be I'd be
102:51willing to do Taylor Mitchell Hall.
102:53Yeah.
102:56But yeah, I don't think I I don't think I'm going to do Mechy Mitchell because it's almost like Mechie is like at the
103:02expense of Mitchell is the way I'm looking at him.
103:04>> Yeah. Yeah. I think it's just hard for both guys to like pop at once and now we had the price jump for Mitchell because
103:11he was played heavily the last few weeks.
103:14>> He's going to get played again this week, but I think >> Yeah, he will be. Yeah, I mean we do
103:17have him. He he he only went up to 46.
103:20Uh we'll get to the Bears now because uh I did check Roman Dunay was rolled out.
103:24So, we also will have Luther Vernon uh in play at 3,800. So, we're we're going to have some guys down in that range
103:31this week.
103:32>> Uh >> so, yeah, people will go back to him though because he's just getting you can't have a guy at 4,600 that's just
103:38getting targeted at that rate. And even you you're like, I don't even care if he's bad if I just tell you a guy's
103:43going to have a 30% target share at 4,600. Just put him in your lineup.
103:47You're like, all right, >> put him in your lineup.
103:49>> Like, all right. Yeah, he might be bad that have any receiver, but at least I like you can't buy targets at that
103:54price.
103:55>> It's it's it's Michael Wilson, right?
103:56It's kind of like Jets Michael Wilson.
103:58Now, it's not they don't have the pass rate, and I believe in Brassette more than I believe in Taylor, and I believe
104:03in Wilson more than I believe in Adie Mitchell, but >> you know, triple discount.
104:08>> Yeah.
104:09>> Um yeah, I mean, it's a great it's a great passing matchup. Uh Dolphins on their side. Uh, two was coming off a
104:17horrible game against the Saints that did get the win though, but he was eighth percentile in EPA per play, third percentile in success rate. Um, you have
104:27a Jets defense though that's not great.
104:29Not as bad as I maybe thought they'd be, but they are dead last in passing DVOA this year, so they are pretty bad. Um,
104:36Tyreek Hill, this is the game where he dislocated his knee and uh, but he was he was cooking this team before he got
104:42hurt. I think this sets up pretty well for Jaylen Waddle who's picked up a lot of the slack that Hill left behind. Um,
104:49and yeah, I think as far as efficiency goes, Wadd should be good here. Waller is kind of intriguing from an efficiency
104:57standpoint. He he was back in a decent role last week. 69% round participation.
105:02Again, efficient at 2.35 yards per hour run. He's been at 1.73 for the year. uh he gets used in the red zone a bit so to
105:09maybe bank a touchdown with him. But I do think the Dolphins are going to be run heavy here. Uh they've pivoted hard
105:15to the run last three weeks. 41 42 and 51% pass rates. So you think they're going to they're going to pound the
105:21rock?
105:22>> Yeah. Uh past six games, who has attempted more than 26 passes once? Uh only Seattle has a lower drop back rate
105:29than Miami over that span. Uh, so and it's it's hurt Wadd because all the peripherals for Wadd look great, >> but his he's only been now wide receiver
105:39two or better in two of his past six games because all we can talk about area yards and target share and yards
105:44throughout run, but if your team's throwing 20 passes, you got to be Jackson Smith and Jigba. Like you got to be an outlier of outliers like have it
105:51transl Yeah. Yeah.
105:54>> Yeah. Waddle the past six weeks uh he's running 25 and a half routes per game like >> you know what I mean? So, it's like like
106:02we the efficiency stuff's all there, but like we need drop backs. Like we need actual dropbacks. So, he he's a guy I
106:08was like really excited about for a few weeks and then I started like to to play him and I'm like, man, I'm getting no
106:12return on this and it's like you're you go under the hood and you're like, "Oh, yeah. There's a reason for this. Well,
106:17we're not getting return on it." That's why you're still playing him, I think, in season stuff. I'm a little luke uh
106:21more less lukewarm on them than I would be uh from DFS just because of the price and the volume and like not expecting
106:27this to be a game where they're they have to throw a lot. uh maybe play Wadd again when we think they're going to get
106:32pushed. Waller I think's fine because of the position he plays and the touchdown equity he could hold. We've seen him get
106:37end zone targets in all of his spots.
106:38The Jets also are 31st in touchdown rate allowed to tight ends. So I think Waller's fine chasing a touchdown. You could even play him in DFS I think on
106:46like a FanDuel based site where it's like more touchdown driven.
106:50>> I mean 3,800 I think he's he's viable on draft games. Yeah, he's in play. It's funny because we have like that little
106:55nesting doll of guys. Strange at 39, Waller at 38, >> uh, Love Bannon at 37, and yeah, when you talking about Lovelin will be 32.
107:06So, >> um, who I think gets interesting too with with Rome being out in the matchup.
107:11So, >> uh, but yeah, I have no I have no push back against it. Like, if you're like, I like Waller the most, those guys, I'd be
107:16like, all right, >> I don't like him the most, but I like him enough that he might hit a lineup.
107:21>> Yep. Yeah, I think he he will for me too. This game in general, I might stack it not with Tua, but like something like
107:28Tyrod, Adai Mitchell, uh Waller, and then obviously Aan who's been the biggest beneficiary of everything we talked about because he's just getting
107:36absolutely loaded with opportunities.
107:39>> So, he had he had just one target last week. Wasn't didn't catch it. So, zero receptions.
107:45>> Would have been a touchdown, by the way.
107:47>> Oh, I what did I I guess I missed. Yeah, it was like a they ran like an underneath like where they did the play
107:52where they he split out and he was running like the slot screen. He was going to walk in and just I think he his
107:58I think he knew he was going to walk in and just didn't look it in cuz the second he put it down like all the
108:03linemen were in front he was like yeah >> that's >> Yeah.
108:08>> Um the nice thing about achan last week is that he had 22 carries. Um he's seen uh he saw 22 carries against the Bills
108:17in week 10. 21 in week 11. So against the commanders. So now we're looking at him over the first nine games he had
108:2413.4 carries uh average and he's now averaging 21.7 over his last three. Uh and in two of those games he was
108:32targeted uh he had 30% of the targets against the Bills and 25% against the Commanders. So I mean his his upside is
108:38just massive here. Uh now that he's getting like true workhorse usage. Uh you can run on the Jets. Teams are running on the Jets. opponents have a
108:4757% pass rate against them. Um, as we mentioned, the Dolphins have pivoted hard to the run. Their game plan is going to be to run. Even if the Jets
108:55pass a little bit more than they have, that's honestly just good. They're not going to suck all the volume out of the
109:01game. They're not going to run away from the Dolphins. Like the Jets just don't have that kind of offense. So, this is
109:06going to be a game where the Dolphins can run as much as they want to and can, you know, win this game probably pretty
109:13handily with a with a very conservative game plan. So, I expect Han to see plenty of work and to be pretty pretty
109:19damn efficient.
109:20>> Yep. And Jets also had 16 touchdowns, the running backs, second most. He has 20 touches in five straight games. So,
109:26it's like, you know, Yeah.
109:27>> All these running backs, man, all year.
109:29Just like it's they're all coming to for everyone's souls that took wide receivers like at the all these guys, man, are just you saw Gibbs on Thursday.
109:38You talk about all these guys in these good spots, man. We talk about James Cook and it's like, oh, man.
109:45Yeah, I'll tell you what we didn't talk about. Like James Cook is a guy that like I actually have like >> there's like you have misses in fantasy,
109:52but like you're like, "All right, like you know you're going to have misses."
109:55James Cook's one I'm really mad at missing because of where he was going in drafts and just not putting the two and
110:00two together when they gave him that contract of like >> I know >> money man's going to get the ball like
110:05like why Bill's offense it was all there dude. It was all there. Like good offense, got paid, was in like the
110:12fourth and fifth round. Like he's one like I legitimately be like, "You know what? You were a dumbass. Like you were
110:17an >> I was in on him.
110:19>> You're an idiot."
110:22>> The year before it was like him versus Kenneth Walker and I was team Cook cuz it's like I'm like he what if he it's
110:29like what if he scores the touchdown?
110:31What if he scores touchdowns? Because remember two years ago he couldn't score touchdowns. Allen gets all the touchdowns. Um, and it's like, well,
110:39what if he does? Because he's on the Bills and there's gonna be touchdowns scored. He leads the league in touchdowns. I wasn't jamming him, but I
110:44was like, you know, I I was in. But then LA, this past year, I wasn't that in because I'm like, he he did score all
110:50the touchdowns. He still wasn't that great of a play. You know, he still wasn't dominant. And it's like cuz cuz what are they going to build a whole
110:56offense around James Cook? They have Josh Allen. That would be idiotic.
111:00>> Well, here we are.
111:01>> Yep. Here we are. He's going to have to do hopefully.
111:04>> Yeah. But yeah, a chance in that mode like you just keep jamming in if you can fit them. It's hard to get to like all
111:11those because their prices all they've all been so good for so long this that their prices are all high but if you can
111:20>> Yeah. No, I mean Han's a very very strong play.
111:23>> Yep. Absolutely.
111:25>> All right, let's go to the Saints at Bucks. Um let's see. Saints at Bucks. Tyler Shuck
111:35uh not efficient against the Dolphins.
111:39Uh 22nd percentile in EP pay-per-play.
111:41>> Getting a lot of Tyler Shuck's steam out in the community.
111:44>> Really?
111:45>> Have you not? Yeah. Oh yeah, man. It's happening.
111:47>> No, I'm kind of in the I'm I'm in like a cave for for the walkthrough writing. So I I don't see this is me like
111:53>> Oh, no. Like we're >> son of Tyler.
111:56>> Seriously, >> he's the future of the franchise at this point, >> dude. Shuck's I think pretty bad. I I kind of had some uh some hope for him.
112:04He's uh he's only been better than Cam Ward and JJ McCarthy in EPA per game. Uh he's been I don't know. I It's It's
112:14early. It's too early to say for sure, but I'm I'm actually not optimistic on Chuck.
112:18>> Yeah. I just think the fact that he hasn't been a disaster is why people are But I feel like that's a false. It's a
112:24trap door. But >> Well, I mean, like he's been worse than Rattler, so I don't know. I don't really get it.
112:33Um, what are your what are your thoughts on on him in this matchup?
112:37>> Um, not overly excited about him. I mean, we've been able to pick the couple spots for him. Teams that can blitz the
112:43quarterback and put pressure on the quarterback, I generally am a little more scared of him. He's been when he's been pressured, 42% completion rate, 4.9
112:51yards or pass attempt. Uh, against the blitz with or without pressure, 46.9% completion rate, 31st in the league.
112:59Obviously, we know we're going to get a lot of blitzes, zone blitzes behind it.
113:03Just on the road, just not that optimistic about the spot in general.
113:09And there. So, Eric McCoy is done for the year at center. And then, uh, Tis Fuaga was DNP DNP. I didn't see if he's
113:16out, but um, he's their right tackle, so that would be a problem. This is So, the Bucks defense hasn't been that great
113:23recently. Um, but they did shut down the Saints. Rattler was third percentile in EP paper play. Got benched. Shuck came in, debuted, he was fifth percentile.
113:32This this defense was was a real problem for Kell Moore the last time he got him.
113:37Um they've also been better when Jamal Dean has played who came back last week and like their efficiency stuff was fine
113:43last week. They just gave up some junk stuff because that's what Jacobe Brassette lives on.
113:47>> Yeah.
113:48>> Jamal Dean was mediocre as usual.
113:50>> Yeah. Jamal Dean being back is a huge lift though for the defense. Talk about a dude that's gonna get paid next year.
113:55>> Yeah. No, no, he's made a big difference this year. Um, the secondary has been like kind of uh vulnerable.
114:02>> Yeah, they're like a little bad.
114:04>> They're a little Vikingsesque in that way, but they're they're better in the secondary, I think. But that it's sort of similar like they they blitz, they
114:11get pressure.
114:12>> They're a little bit vulnerable, though.
114:13And he theoretically Shaw could be okay in a setup like that because he does he's sort of the Sanders to um Rattler's
114:21Gabriel where I'd rather have both the Saints guys but there like the archetype's a little bit similar where uh Shuck takes he's trying to hit more
114:31big plays. I think you're getting like worse success rate less kind of just like operating the offense the way it's supposed to be designed and a little bit
114:38more playmaking. Um, but the playmaking is just for me not frequent enough. I'm I'm not loving what I'm seeing. But the
114:47Bucks have a great run defense. They're a big pass funnel. Um, because of that 67% opposing pass rate, 4% opposing POE,
114:565% shift to the pass by opponents. We've seen high pass rates and high pass rates over expected against them for a while
115:03um over the last five. That's your out like if you're playing him as a QB2 cuz you do he's your QB2 in a QB league like
115:09you probably are getting 35 pass attempts.
115:13>> Yeah. Over the last five games opponents are averaging a 9% pass rate or expected at least 6% by every team they've seen
115:20over the last five. So So volume is your play. Your play is you hope Shuck's like a little bit better than he was last
115:26week. Um I I said he's a positive aggression candidate, but he'd be regressing too positively to Davis Mills uh where where Davis Mills has been this
115:37year. So we're not hoping for a ton of efficiency, but like maybe you get like, you know, Davis Mills and the Texans
115:43keeping things on the rails a little bit and volume and then in that case could bounce back here. Jawan Johnson could be
115:49okay. Um but that's like the extent of my optimism.
115:54>> Yeah. I mean, uh, is dealing with the back, but he's going to play.
115:57>> I mean, we know what we're getting. Al's just been a a huge volume, dude. We We've been talking about it all season.
116:03Like, at least Kell Moore has like understood the assignment of like, we're still going to play fast. We're going to run a lot of plays. We'll see what the
116:08hell happens like most weeks. Like, that's generally been what they've done.
116:12>> Uh, did he's already matched a career-high in touchdowns with his touchdown last week. Uh, he's the wide receiver, five in targets per game.
116:19doesn't always get a lot of quality targets, but the the amount of volume he gets usually comes through more weeks than it doesn't. Like when these teams
116:25played the first time, you only had 63 yards, but he had eight catches in 12 on 12 targets. So like you're at least got
116:30something in terms of a floor, especially in your full PPR stuff. I'd be a little more concerned about Vele come chasing the Veillay score just
116:37because I I was on a little bit Veil last week and we talked about in my chat and uh had a nice anytime bet on him for
116:43a touchdown.
116:43>> He's running the routes, >> but I think this matchup is a little bit tougher for him than it was last week.
116:48But you are getting volume. That's all I will say is like you will you're going to get like routes and probably targets.
116:54And if you need to throw that at a lineup, I totally get it.
116:59>> Targets I'm like a little bit less sure will happen. You know, 13% first read target rate last week, which isn't
117:04great. It's not it's not terrible, but it's not anything special at all. And he has a 9% first target rate on the year
117:10and 12% targets per out run on the year.
117:13>> So, he's not really a target earner.
117:15nice game last week, but to me he's more kind of just that bet on routes. Like he's like a Pat Bryant level dude, I
117:22would say. It's like, hey, he'll be out there. Um, and maybe there's more upside uh than we've seen so far. But, um, I'm
117:30more interested in in Olave and and Jawan Johnson as far as, you know, those guys being people I can trust to get the
117:37targets. Uh, I will note like Shuck is 4,600 on DraftKings and we talked about J.J. McCarthy earlier is like, hey, what
117:45if he could get to like a Gino Smith level? Well, like Shuck kind of is already at a Gino Smith level. And it's
117:51like, well, what if he could get to, you know, a Terrod Taylor level or, you know, like a Tua level that, you know,
118:01Shuck can Chuck can turn in one of those types of games. So, uh, I know this is not he could he could turn in like Bryce
118:08Young level efficiency if if we were get getting really lucky.
118:13Is Shock in play for you at 4600?
118:16>> Not really, but I would if if someone was like, he's I because I have if I'm going to play a guy in that range, I'm
118:22just going to play Taylor. But if >> I I think I I'd beat Taylor as well.
118:27Yeah, >> if you But I get the thesis. I understand the thesis of it. It's one of those things. It's like not for me, but
118:31I understand what you're stand what you're what you're trying to sell here.
118:36>> I kind of like to Rod Taylor. I'm kind of talking myself.
118:38>> I'm okay with my internet provider already.
118:42You know, I understand. I I heard the pitch. I appreciate it.
118:48>> You like you actually like this might I might save money. Like this might be something I should do, >> but I don't really like looking into it,
118:57so I'm not >> Yeah, >> I hear you.
119:02>> Yeah, I'm gonna play Trod Taylor as well.
119:07>> Um, all right. Buck side of this. I mean, we get uh decent matchup here, but dude, the Bucks have been shifting.
119:14We're talking about I guess it's just it's just the weather turning like something something's in the air. We're seeing a lot of teams pivot to the run
119:21here, including the Bucks.
119:22>> Yeah. And I think Baker's got six injuries that like when we whenever they get whenever they get their season ends,
119:29I I assume that we're just going to hear right afterwards like all the all the surgeries he's going to have.
119:35>> Yeah, it reminds me of that. I think the last year with the Browns where he was just like playing through a million
119:39injuries and gutted it out.
119:43But yeah, I mean they they've been they're playing like that. Minus 12% poe against the Bills, - 7 against the Chargers. They were minus two last week,
119:51but minus 10 on first down and uh against the Bills, minus 24 on first down, minus 19 on first down against the
119:59Rams. So very, very conservative here.
120:02Uh, and they get a Saints team that teams are opponents are just running all over. 53% opposing pass rate. Not a
120:09terrible run defense, but you can just run on them because they're not very good. Uh, one of one of those teams. So,
120:14>> that's it, man.
120:16>> Yeah, I think that's what the Bucks will do. Bucky Irving came back, man, and got uh pretty pretty nice workload.
120:22>> Like it hand >> not efficient this year as a runner. Um, just a 30% success rate, which is really really bad. Still better than Shador
120:32Sanders, but uh just terrible running back 68.
120:38>> I love it. Every every running back run that's better than a Shador Sanders pass.
120:42>> It's so ridiculous.
120:44But he is he 2.05 yards per route run, which I think tells you he still has some juice even though he hasn't he
120:50hasn't really been um delivering so far as a runner. Be really nice if Tristan Warfs plays in this game. He's questionable. Uh that that's like a
120:59meaningful offensive line thing to keep an eye on. Um but yeah, I think Evans is out for this game. Godwin was back uh to
121:07pretty close to his normal role last week and was actually efficient.
121:11>> So generally things are, >> you know, moving in the right direction, but I think given the Baker injuries and and his level of play, which has dropped
121:18off significantly since the the first half of the season, they probably just pound the rock.
121:23>> Yeah. my my one because I was like towing the line of like are are we overlooking Baker this week a little bit
121:29and if like we flip the cards over on Monday and you tell me Baker was like the QB8 or something I'd be like ah yeah
121:34probably but uh it's just it's just hard to get there but it's the one pro I'll say for Baker outside of the injury
121:41stuff is that like their team is getting healthier and maybe that is like an like give them a boost this like the final
121:48quarter of the season because you know they got Luke Gataki back you got Bucky Irving back you hope Worst plays they're
121:53going to Evans back or probably get Jaylen McMillan back like very soon.
121:57It's like all right, this could be what kind of gets the offense kind of back going and performing with a little bit
122:03of efficiency because that's also completely over overlapped Ibuka's nose dive is it completely overlaps Baker's nose dive. Uh because you look at Ibuka,
122:13all the stuff is there like he has eight or more targets in six straight games.
122:17He has 30% of the team targets over this. Just the quality of target has completely evaporated. 25% of his targets over that span have been
122:27inaccurate. Before that it was 11.9%. So like it's completely just coincided with Baker's play. And Buka I don't think is doing anything wrong. It's just the
122:36quality of of play has been has deteriorated around him. So >> So he is still ninth percentile in open score which has been
122:42>> right. And that's always gonna be the knock, right? Like that's gonna that was remember the holy war that was going on.
122:47this dude doesn't separate like >> well he doesn't right and it's like >> that's a >> that's a problem like it certainly
122:54creates a lower margin of error for the quarterback and if the quarterback play dips you're really going to feel it which is I think kind of explains what's
123:01happening a bit >> the other thing is that he's been so much better against zone than man 0.96 against man yards per run 2.29 29 yards
123:09per hour run against zone. Um he does get a team that plays a bunch of zone this week.
123:15>> I'm I'm kind of for Ibuka.
123:19It's like one of these things where he's better if Evans doesn't play because he's probably just going to get the targets. But I think if you want to get
123:25excited about Ibuka as a player again, you're better off having Evans on the field because you kind of have him as
123:31that number two. He's getting a little less defensive attention. He's kind of like the zone beater. um you know kind of number two option in the like like
123:41number two most important player but maybe maybe number one target still if that makes sense.
123:47>> And now we got Godwin coming up too. So it's gonna be like this might be the this might be the last 30% target game
123:52we get the chase from him.
123:55>> Well Godwin to me is a little bit more like Spider-Man meme with Ibuka. Like they're kind of the same. So I don't
124:02love the Goddard reemergence. I think Evans can help draw coverage and and help Ibuka. But yeah, >> he'll he'll have plenty of targets this
124:10week against a zone heavy team. So, you know, I have him as like a high-end wide receiver, too type of dude.
124:17>> Yeah. Yeah. I have him as like a mid-rangy guy.
124:19>> Yeah.
124:20>> Like you hope the volume sticks. I basically have him as like a volume based wide receiver. You're like, I hope
124:23this works out. He's gonna get >> I have him just out of >> gonna get eight targets. Yeah. Yeah.
124:28Hope hope this works out. But I I wish too that the both DFS p uh sites were more uh aggressive pricing guys down as
124:35they were pricing guys up. You know, it's like these guys spike and then when you have like five straight weeks, you're like you go to flip the cards
124:42like, "Well, how much is this dude?"
124:43You're like, "Oh my gosh, he's still hitting the sixes. Like this guy should be 5'5. Like come on, man." Like it's
124:49they don't you don't get any freebies.
124:51>> No, that's why Yeah. DraftKings the pricing gets so tight by the end of the year because >> Yeah. Because no one comes down.
124:57Everyone goes up. It falls like this, but they go up like they shoot up and they slowly come down. Um, all right.
125:05Steelers at Ravens.
125:07Uh, we are going to get Lamar Jackson, it looks like.
125:10>> Yeah, >> but are we going to get Jackson?
125:18>> Yeah. So, what are your thoughts on the Ravens?
125:20Yeah, real tough spot here I think for season long gamers trying to decide what they're going to do with Lamar Jackson
125:25this week because you're in a real rock hard place, right? Because like on one hand you're like, "All right, if I play
125:30Lamar Jackson and he sucks, you'd be like, "Yeah, I clearly knew he wasn't right and he had not given me any
125:36fantasy points for the previous month."
125:38Uh especially against a team that he has won 20 point game against in his career.
125:41Now playing this Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018 versus 2025 has no bearing. It's just like thing like a team that's giving them trouble. Well, even last
125:49year >> was gonna be pretty similar.
125:50>> Yeah, that's true. Uh but even last year, even the even the MVP seasons like you know, uh he was 9.9 points, 14.9
125:59points, then 20.5 points against Pittsburgh. So like you even ask yourself, what kind of ceiling do you have? But then the other thing is if you
126:06bench Lamar Jackson, then he has like a a Lamar Jackson game. You're like, well I benched Lamar Jackson for Terod Taylor or whatever Jacobe Bratet or
126:14whatever, dude. And you feel like an So you feel like an idiot either way. Like no matter what no matter what outcome
126:19here, >> right? Yeah. You're gonna feel dumb.
126:22>> Settle in.
126:23>> It's a real bummer, man. So, like I like I do I have a couple teams with Mar Jackson that like I had to admit like I
126:29am benching him, but like for specific guys and I think it depends to like what you're chasing for your roster. Like we
126:36talk about it like I I'm playing Trevor Lawrence in a league over Lamar Jackson.
126:42>> Yeah. Let me see where I have the ranked. See, I I still have Lamar Jack.
126:47Yeah, I'm gonna lower him more.
126:50Like Jordan Love is pretty easy to play over him, right?
126:53>> Yep. I have Jordan Love over him, too.
126:58>> Bo Knicks. I still have him one spot above Bo Knicks. It's just because he also has not been trustworthy on any
127:04level. But I could agree with that. Like saying this would be an identifiable spot for Bon Knicks to be good. It's
127:10just we've done this a couple times with them. So, I'm just like, you know what?
127:12if I have to choose less reveal. So, I'm at least going to take the dude I believe is the better at football in his
127:16soul. But it might not be true because you look at Lamar Jackson and I've seen this argument made for him last week.
127:22They're like, well, if likely scores if he doesn't fumble at the goal line and Z Flowers isn't called back, like the
127:26optics are better. And yes, the optics would be better, but he also is just missing too many throws uh that you see
127:33like that second drive of the game, he had like a third and eight out route and he just throws into the crowd basically.
127:38He had the highest inaccurate throw rate in week 13. You're like, "Oh, that's one game, right?" Well, he had the highest
127:43inaccurate throw rate in week 12. All right. Well, that's two games, right? Go back to week 11. He had the second
127:48highest inaccurate throw rate. Only Jared Goff that Eagles game that was like the crazy Sunday night game was worse. Over the past five seasons, three
127:57of his five highest inacurate throw rates now have come the past three weeks. Like, this guy clearly isn't right.
128:02>> And then when you The other thing, too, that's kind of a weird thing. last week, dude. He had a 45% pressure rate last
128:09week against the Bengals.
128:11>> Yeah.
128:12>> Like this is like there's there's a lot here going on that I think that's just goes beyond Lamar being hurt. I feel
128:17like it's a collection of stuff and if he's not able to have the out of running, >> like we got a problem.
128:25>> That's the thing. Like Lamar does some stuff that like most quarterbacks can't get away with, >> but he gets away with it no problem
128:33because he's >> insane. But you do like the fact that he does have a really long time to throw, you know,
128:42it's like if he's not actually running, then that becomes a bit of a problem.
128:48And he does he's had he has a 3.09 time to throw, which is quite long. Uh he allows pressure at a high rate. Uh he he
128:55has a 24% pressure to sack rate this year. So it's kind of like he's he's just not doing the Lamar magic. and his
129:05play style does create a low floor if he's not, you know, just a different dude out there. Um, which he which he
129:12hasn't been recently. So, it does. Yeah, it's it's worrisome the way he's playing. And then the other part of this is that you can easily run on the
129:21Steelers. Um, you don't have to run on the Steelers, but we just saw the Bills, as I talked about at the top, 38% pass
129:29rate, minus 17% pass rate of expected, pounded the rock, and shut down Aaron Rodgers. And I think that's probably how the Ravens are going to play things this
129:39week. Try to try to replicate that. Um, Steelers are 28th in EPA per rush, 24th in success rate. They're 15th in DVOA,
129:46so they're not like a horrible run defense, but again, you can move the ball on the ground. probably gonna lean on Derrick Henry a bit here. Um Henry's
129:54expensive in DFS, not someone I'm all that excited about and he hasn't been that good this year, but he's he's had
130:00some breakaway juice. Maybe he gets back to that. He's definitely at least someone to consider. Uh because I think the game plan's going to be built around
130:08him and uh yeah, on the other side like Rogers could >> Yeah, they're just not gonna score enough points, the Steelers to to get
130:16even if it's a tight game, you're going to get we're going to be in a in an environment for Derrick Henry to touch
130:21the football a lot.
130:23>> Exactly. Exactly. Uh Flowers could bounce back here a bit. I mean, he's been actually pretty efficient, excluding last week where he bottomed
130:31out 0.16 yards per out run. Um, but yeah, I mean, he's he should be okay.
130:36The lack of touchdown equity is just so brutal. Uh, >> yeah, he's like the old, you know, they used to always do the old uh the running
130:44back correlator. They're like, if you need this guy to get you uh three yards, he'll get you three four yards. If you
130:49need this guy to get you seven yards, get you four yards. Like, if you need Z Flowers to get you 60 yards, he'll get
130:53you 60 yards. If you need him to get you 100 yards, he's going to get you 75 yard. Like, he's just like in that,
130:58right? He just like constantly lives in like that solid floor, has good efficiency, but the team doesn't throw, and then doesn't have any touchdown
131:05equity.
131:06>> I thought you were going to say if you need Z Flowers to get you uh 15 points, he'll get you 11 points.
131:11>> He'll get you 11 points.
131:13>> He gets you nine points, he'll get you 11 points.
131:15>> Yeah, it's just a real bummer. Never allowed to score a touchdown again.
131:19>> Yeah, >> but I think he's fine to go back to that like that that mid-r wide receiver two, wide receiver three guy. I think the
131:24floor is going to be there here.
131:27Thoughts on the Andrews extension?
131:30>> Weird.
131:31>> Weird, right?
131:32>> Yeah, real weird. Especially like the his age, his performance. They're also not using him except for the red zone.
131:39They only use him when they he him and Zay Flowers flip.
131:42>> We've we've done we've talked about it on the show like the target rates in the red zone and outside the red zone for
131:47each guy. It was just it was the timing was weird.
131:50>> Yeah.
131:52Have you know like you know in beer pong where you have like a celebrity shot you know someone like someone call celebrity
132:00and they come in. Do you think like Jerry did like a celebrity extension here? Jerry Jones was like celebrity >> science managers like this is this
132:11strikes me as someone who wasn't paying attention. Like this is like a reputational three-year extension. It's it's >> it's bizarre to me. is very it was a ve
132:20like everything about it was weird. Just everything all the >> even the timing likely had a had a good game last week.
132:26>> Yeah, it was literally Yeah, the other tight end had a better game and and is younger and was reportedly about to get
132:33an extension before he got hurt so why not sign.
132:39>> Yeah, just really odd timing. Um but you can score touchdowns as a tight end.
132:45>> You can score touchdowns. Yeah, >> that's where we are.
132:49>> Uh, >> I mean, it's pretty pretty clean, like I said though. So, what is your actual cut off of Lamar? Are you just a grinning?
132:54Are you just you're just saying whatever? I'm going down the ship or >> I think I'm going down with the ship.
133:01>> I don't think anyone's playing him in DFS.
133:03>> No. No. I think like if I'm if you're telling me I have to play like Buret or Lawrence or even like Baker, I think I'm just
133:12playing Lamar, man. Like I I that could be dumb. But >> like I said, it's it's a no- win. I don't I'm not even saying I'm right.
133:21It's just like I feel like no matter what decision you feel like like you're going to feel wrong in each decision you
133:25make like you just is what it is. You hopefully it doesn't cost you right.
133:30Like I say everyone that has Lamar Jackson and I just hope that the matchup doesn't come to like the difference was
133:35the quarterback.
133:37>> Yeah. I mean someone like Stafford obviously like you're genius. Oh yeah.
133:41you know, like there's there's plenty of guys who, you know, you normally wouldn't play ahead a like like Jordan Love or whatever, like Yeah. but I don't
133:50know, maybe I'll come down on him the more I think about it. I mean, the fact that he he's clearly like not healthy
133:55this week. So, the the bounceback idea and dude, like you look at the Let me I'll share this because I was going to
134:02describe it and uh I just the visual is what I need. Um, but his performance against the Bengals is just shocking. Like every quarterback
134:13has gotten there against the Bengals.
134:15Flaco here is is week one 38th percentile. Lawrence was 51st and then everybody else um we're talking about 60th or better. Like Rogers was 60th
134:25percentile against this Bengals defense.
134:28Um and then 84th the first time he got them. And then Lamar just cratered 16% EPA per play. 16th percentile EPA per
134:36play.
134:37This this defense hasn't stopped anybody. Uh so yeah, it's just it's it's really concerning. I might need to lower him even more than I'm thinking.
134:46>> And like I said, some of the turnovers were kind of like fluky. You had the the the um >> the tuck rule uh happen. You the tip
134:54ball, which would have been a touchdown to Andrews, but like the missed throws and like the the freebie the the the
135:00stuff that you expect like a baseline quarterback to make, he wasn't making.
135:03And it's been in like that's been a three-week problem uh for him. Like the it's been a big red flag that the last
135:10two weeks Jets Bengals like this stuff is still a problem.
135:15>> And I do this to to rookie quarterbacks, you know, where it's like, "Hey, man, you got to you got to take advantage of
135:19these if you're trying to show us you got something." And uh maybe maybe an injury an injured player I should be
135:24doing the same where it's like, "Hey, show me you're healthy. You're clear."
135:27>> And I don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water. uh if we're saw to say that uh phrase, which I don't know
135:33where that originated from or or what happened with that, but uh >> I I always picture like an 1800's kind of someone wearing an outfit like you
135:43have on. They're emptying the bath water.
135:46>> Dump out the bathroom. Wait, wait, wait.
135:47Take the baby out.
135:48>> Take the baby out.
135:50>> Yeah. Yeah.
135:51>> Because Lamar for his career, like this is a is still like a very small blip over a career that's been really good,
135:57but like we're in the midst. We're in the eye of the storm right now and it's just like how do we get out?
136:03>> Right. Right.
136:05>> So, I also don't want to say >> I don't want to get I don't want to get carried away but
136:08>> Yeah. I don't want to say full on like this dude's trash or anything cuz like I don't want to >> he's hurt. He's a decorated player. He's
136:14injured.
136:15>> But like also like [ __ ] man. I got to win some I gota score some fantasy points.
136:19>> Like I I need I need these man.
136:24>> These fantasy points.
136:25>> Yeah, I hear you, man. I hear you.
136:29>> And like the problem is it's like he's scoring like no fantasy points. Like it'd be cool if like he was
136:33underperforming, but you were getting like 14 points. It's the fact >> this is the guy with the floor. This is like Lamar. This is the floor play at
136:40quarterback.
136:41>> The Konami code was written off this. It was literally predicated on like, hey, the like he's just going to run around
136:47enough that you'll be all right.
136:49>> Right. But he's not.
136:51>> Yeah. It's it's brutal.
136:54It's brutal. Um, speaking of brutal, Aaron Rogers, uh, just two of the last three weeks has has been awful. Um, I
137:05noted so like you look at the Steelers pressure rate, best team in the league at preventing pressure, best team in the
137:13league at preventing quick pressure. Um, I'm not sure that that's as good as it seems like it is. It's not >> because it's just it's largely driven by
137:25Aaron Rogers getting the ball out extremely quickly. His 2.65 second time to throw and he has a really really fast time to throw from a clean pocket. He's
137:332.25 seconds uh from a clean pocket.
137:36Only Tua, Spencer Rattler, Carson Wentz have been faster.
137:40Dude is not trying to get hit right now um at all. He's 42 years old. He's playing through a broken wrist. I get
137:47it. You know, not trying to not trying to be too harsh here, but it's it is what it is. He's he's getting the ball
137:53out, >> but you touch him in a game, he looks done. Like the second he gets hit, >> it's over.
137:58>> Like he's like, I don't like this. I like this. I thought we were playing touch. Like, dude, he like the second he
138:04gets hit and I love when the camera goes to him, he looks so He was mad when his offensive lineman knocked him down after
138:08throwing a touchdown earlier. He doesn't want to be touched. Like the dude that game like when he had that when that
138:14second half opened with that strip sack he was done. The me he was the rest of that game was over. He was in full
138:19Myrtle mode. He was like get me the out of here.
138:21>> Yeah man.
138:22>> His beard got three three shades whiter like at that point like it was like I'm out. I'm done with this game.
138:29>> Yeah. It's it's like he he gets in a funk like he can't it's it's it. It's over. I mean DK Metaf last two weeks has
138:37had average depth of targets 6.0 0 and 5.0.
138:42This is like the prototypical deep threat, right? Like two two it's like a fault. Like he that's what he that's like the only thing.
138:50>> He's like Debo Samuel now. They're like trying to use Debo Metaf. Like what are we doing?
138:55>> Is that Is that what the D is for?
138:57>> It's a Kalin.
138:58>> Yeah, it's a Kalin. His government is the K. We might have to go back to to his government, too.
139:04>> Yeah, we might. I mean, this is not his fault. So, I don't think I don't think we we should >> uh Yeah,
139:11>> it's just it's not >> it's not working. It's not an offense that really like the thing the thing that's concerning to me too is you look
139:20at okay, he is just awful against the Bills and the Chargers. So surely that was because he's getting pressured at a
139:31high rate and and you know you he's just not interested in in getting hit, but he wasn't. He had uh there's a 24% pressure
139:40rate by the Bills last week, which is the fourth lowest of the week. The Chargers were at 29%, but that's below
139:46the league average, which is 36%. So he wasn't seeing a ton of pressure. The Chargers were generating quick pressure at a little bit above the league
139:53average. They're at 25%, league average is 22%. But the Bills had a quick pressure rate last week of just 12%.
140:00So it it wasn't it's not like he's getting pressured. He's just preventing pressure from happening in the first place by getting the ball out
140:08immediately.
140:10So I don't know what you do with that, you know, like well what you do with it is you don't play any of the pieces of
140:15the passing offense. I would say um the only guy that I at least want to note that's semi-interesting is Darno Washington had 80% route participation
140:25last week. Darnell Washington leads the tight ends with 1.75 yards per out run.
140:32Foot's at 1.49 and is barely playing now. John was at 0.79.
140:37Darnell Washington has a 20% targets per out run, which is 81st percentile at tight end. Also leads the Steelers tight ends and he's a weapon in the run game.
140:45And I think that what the Steelers are going to try to do is establish the run as the Ravens try to establish the run
140:50against them. So, it's going to be kind of one of these classic AFC North Bowls between the the Ravens and the Steelers
140:55here.
140:56>> Um, >> but that means plenty of playing time for Darnell Washington. So, uh, this is like more of a tight end premium take, I
141:05would say, but like a legitimate tight end premium take where Washington, I think, will probably be out there, you know, at least 65, maybe 75% of the
141:13routes. And uh I don't he's kind of he's kind of looked okay. I mean he's had some cool plays.
141:19>> I mean he looks awesome. I don't know how they don't give this dude the ball at least once a quarter like in space.
141:24>> Yeah.
141:24>> How does anyone tackle? I don't I can't believe he's been tackled.
141:26>> 300 pounds.
141:28>> It's wild.
141:29>> He's a super athlete. Uh last week even he had their best play on offense like bounced off a couple dudes. It's like
141:35man like I'm calling at least one like tight end screen or something trying to get this dude the ball once a quarter
141:40maybe every possession. once a quarter.
141:42>> And honestly, at 2600, like I I think I've done crazier things in DFS. I could I could maybe talk myself into him.
141:49>> Yeah. Listen, we I've been talking to him for a little bit. Like anytime you get in these run scripts just because he
141:53that's when he plays the most.
141:55>> Um you got to think that they're going to try to do that. That was the other thing too last week is we knew they were
141:59going to try to do that against the Bills. The thing that hurt them was Rogers's injury is that they had to play
142:05100% out of pistol and the shotgun and they had it removed like anything under center. no nuance and when you because
142:12if you're going to just play out of the pistol and shotgun, you have to have the threat of the QB run for the defense to
142:17do like and they obviously the Steelers don't have that. So the Bill like actually >> how the Falcons been playing out of the
142:23pistol >> and they think he's going to run but it's like yeah the Falcons are like the one team that kind of get away with it.
142:30I guess just be on that good but like the the Bills didn't respect like they're not we know what you're doing.
142:34>> No, the Falcons weren't really getting away with it terribly.
142:37>> They weren't either. Yeah, >> but that that's a killer. They said that he might play more under center this week, but that's something also to watch
142:43for the Monday night game with Herbert if he plays with the hand is just how much he plays under center and not.
142:49>> But I mean, I got the Steelers.
142:53>> You just play Rudolph at this point to be honest. But um >> I got nothing for you on the Steelers.
142:57You're probably playing Jaylen Warren because you have to. Um >> I think you're playing him. Uh yeah, if you got him and you've been playing
143:05them, you're playing them. I think things are moving like a little bit in the right direction. He had a 15% target
143:09share last week.
143:11>> 50%.
143:11>> The problem is the offense. We have just no faith in the offense.
143:15>> I have no faith in the offense. I don't have much faith in the Ravens ability to push them off of her own heavy script
143:21though. So, I think we I think we get rushing volume.
143:23>> Yeah. And the one thing I will say too is I saw this take floating around a little bit on Thanksgiving night is that
143:29people were saying the the the Ravens were fraudulent because of their schedule and the Bengals were uh exposed them. And I I had a completely different
143:38takeaway because I watched the Bengals run 80 offensive plays and still be under five yards for play. They still had burrow a few passives and they still
143:46like were completely like stonewalling the Bengals from scoring touchdowns until the dam finally broke. Like I feel like the Ravens defense kept them in
143:53that game as long as they possibly could through all the turnovers and everything and it's just like I I I didn't have
143:58that takeaway.
144:00>> I don't think the Ravens defense is good. I don't think they're terrible. I think the the idea that they're good
144:05>> if if you're if you're pitching me that they're good now, I'm I'm telling you, hey, >> they've played Caleb Williams who I
144:12still don't think is that great. Tuang Aloa, JJ McCarthy, Dylan Gabriel, and Shador Sanders in the same game, right?
144:18Terrod Taylor and then Joe Burrow was efficient against him uh in his first game back from a toe injury where he's
144:24probably not 100%. So, >> and Stafford, you cut it off at Stafford though, too.
144:29>> Staf Stafford and they they limited Stafford a bit. So, that's true. And Caleb, if you if you're a believer in
144:35Caleb was not >> Well, both just from a team environment stance, the Rams and Bears were significantly worse in scoring points
144:42than they have been against everyone else.
144:45>> Yeah, fair. Um, >> and I don't think that they're great. I just don't think that the takeaway was like they're fraudulent. It's like,
144:51dude, like they did everything they could to try to keep them in that game.
144:55>> I think the Ravens are decent in coverage and don't have a pass rush.
144:58>> Yes, 100%. Pass rush is just nothing.
145:03>> Yeah. So, they're they're an okay defense. But uh there certainly like what I basically the conclusion I came to is that next week I will be using the
145:13Steelers to say the Ravens are fraudulent.
145:17I'm not you know what I mean? I'm not they're not they're not so fraudulent that the Steel but the Steelers will
145:22help reinforce my case when I make >> a positive case for someone else playing the Ravens.
145:28>> I love it. Yeah. Who is it? Oh, it's Bengals again. They go >> Ben.
145:33Sorry.
145:33>> Yeah. God, we got to do Lamar against the Bengals. He better be good this week. [ __ ] God damn it.
145:40>> I don't know. Do you want him to be good? I don't think you want him to be good. I think you want him to be bad so
145:45that you can either be contrarian and everyone's off of them and you're like, "No, dude. I'm just I'm betting on the
145:50bad.
145:50>> If he has another like singledigit point game, how could you possibly play?"
145:55>> But you But that's what you want cuz then no one >> then you can tout him and either look like an idiot or
146:03>> the fields too. The field's too good at that. They're pimping Justin Jefferson again. Like it's said the field's too good. Like this is
146:10>> we can't galaxy brain the we can't galaxy brain the Sims.
146:15>> Well, what's I mean the projections have to change if he puts up single digits again.
146:22>> We're still projecting him really well against the Bengals, which I fell for.
146:25>> God, it's a what a what a crazy crazy thing, man. But yep, bang at Bengals next week.
146:32Uh, all right. Let's go to the Broncos and Raiders.
146:38Uh, Bon Knicks. We're not starting above Lamar. Um, >> no. I I can totally get the people that want to. It's just that I think I'm
146:46still at that. I'm still a Lamar over Bodex.
146:50>> I am too. In part because Nicks was awful against the Raiders.
146:54Like, I've seen him I've seen him be bad in this matchup. Uh, Nyx has a very poor success rate. Um, I'll pull this up.
147:04Here's Nicks. So, behind him is Russell Wilson, Davis Mills, Cam Ward, JJ McCarthy, Gabriel. I didn't include Sidor in the chart, but he's way way off
147:14of it. Uh, because this ends at like 33% and he's at 27. Um, >> I love I just love how it would have
147:22ended three different times. It would have ended before you got the Cam Lord.
147:26Then it would have ended before you had Jane McCarthy. It would end with Gabriel. And then you' had Shador if it
147:29went even further out.
147:31>> Let me find the Shadore one. Now I want to show the Because I did I did include in the >> Oh, like in the Browns in the Brown
147:37section.
147:37>> In the Browns game. I've got the >> It's like different solar systems like >> here it is.
147:45So So here's the Shidor one. Um this So >> Oh, I love it. Brazmer's out there.
147:52>> So here's Nick. Nicks looks good now.
147:55This is >> Oh, yeah. Bonix looks good. Fire him out.
147:58>> Now, Brazmer is uh I he has some because this is EPA game. I guess he played in another game because he he would be
148:04>> he did pop up. He did play at the end of one of the games.
148:06>> Yeah. So, so that >> the Bengals game.
148:09>> Okay. But he would be like way with just one game he would be stretching the chart to the downside here. But
148:14>> I love it.
148:15>> Yeah. So, here's Shadore. So, it's a different universe. Um but Nicks Nicks is playing incon like quarterbacks who have been his level of inconsistent
148:25typically have uh efficiency more in line with like Tua or Russell Wilson um or Terrod Taylor. So uh he's he's
148:36running hot to be this level of of quarterback and uh this level of quarterback isn't that fun. So uh that that has me obviously a little bit
148:44concerned about Knicks even in a soft matchup. But um it is a really soft matchup. So you know the thing and Nicks
148:53is kind of this boom bust type of play style. He's sort of out there trying to make plays instead of consistently
148:59execute the offense. But he might be able to get away with that here. Um >> that's why I think the JK Dobbins injury
149:05was so massive. I think we talked about it when it happened >> as a high success rate running back.
149:09Yeah. Well, it's just like the best version of the Broncos is they could always get back and just run the ball at
149:14JK Dobbins for stretches and now they don't have like any run game, >> right?
149:20A and I the So, Harvey has been bad straight up full stop. There's not been much juice here. He's running back 38 in
149:29breakaway yards per game. He's running back 58 in rush yards over expected per attempt and running back 59 in rush yards over expected per game. So like
149:37the idea that he's an explosive runner is very theoretical, but I think that's what you would you would hope that he
149:44would become that, but he's running back 62 in success rate, 34%. So >> you can't lean on the run game the way
149:52you could with Dobbins who was consistent and you also have a an inconsistent quarterback. So it's just it's making for >> Yes. a tough offense, like just a low
150:02success rate offense. They're they're 29th in dropback success rate. this year. And so, yeah, consistently moving the ball is a problem for the Broncos on
150:10offense. But, uh, they should be able to to hit the Raiders for, you know, a decent amount of big plays. Although,
150:16you what I will say about the Raiders is they're not a good defense, but they're 17th and preventing explosive pass plays. So, if you're just kind of like
150:23big play hunting, the Raiders is not really the matchup to do it. The Raiders, you're probably better off just like kind of trying to consistently hit
150:30for chunk gains. and uh like they're 28th in against first reads. So if you're just like executing the offense, taking what they give you, um you'll
150:41probably be pretty successful against the Raiders, but that's not really Bo Nick's style, >> right?
150:47It's just real tough. He's been a hard guy to trust, so there's been a couple spots. Uh when these teams played the
150:52first time, too, the Raiders had their highest pressure rate in a game this season. uh that game. Uh in that game,
150:59he he threw for 1.3 yards per pass attempt under pressure with two interceptions. 1.3 >> like that's crazy. Absolutely. That's
151:08brutal. Um so it's just real tough. Like you said, the fact that they don't have I think about it from like just a real
151:15football stance because they don't have that running game and any consistency.
151:18It just the the offense is just so volatile. I think drive to drive is just like you just don't know what you're
151:23going to get from this offense >> and it's just it's very frustrating.
151:28>> The the Broncos this year, >> they're going to be a real tough uh playoff team. Like when people are going
151:32to be excited, they're going to get bounced quick.
151:35>> Yeah, the playoff basketball stuff we have them is as is kind of a target because they're going to play at home
151:41that first round.
151:42>> True. That is true. The defense they have to maybe carry if you get like a bad quarterback matchup.
151:47>> Yeah. and they can help fill as long as they don't have the buy. They can help fill in for buys and then you don't
151:53necessarily need them to get to the Super Bowl. They can play a couple rounds. But I >> it's true.
151:57>> In my heart of hearts, I agree with you.
151:59Unless like dude, this team talk about fraudulent. They So they have such a good like they have a good offensive line and I think they're they're coached
152:07well as well. And uh they're fourth best in preventing quick pressure, third best in preventing pressure. They rank fourth in pass block win rate. they lead PFF's
152:16pass blocking grades, but then you look at uh Knicks under pressure or the team under pressure uh when pressure dropbacks, they're the 24th most
152:26efficient team. So, it is like he's lucky, man. He's lucky to be in this situation and have this kind of protection because
152:34>> like he is he's a very inconsistent quarterback behind one of the very best pass protection uh units in the league.
152:42And yeah, still not delivering consistency and when he does get pressured, it gets pretty sloppy pretty quickly. So, I don't know. But at the
152:51same time, like this is Max Crosby's awesome, but this is not a great pass rush uh overall.
152:57>> So, the Broncos probably like they should be able to do their thing. I I think when you look at this game, the
153:04defense for the Broncos is probably going to carry the day. Uh and the Broncos offense probably won't have to do a ton. So there's not just a lot of
153:11fantasy goodness here, especially because Pat Bryant ran more routes last week. Uh limiting Troy Franklin to 67% round participation. Bryant was at 77%
153:20that was out of the buy. So kind of a rookie bump there. Um but Franklin has the highest targets per run on the team.
153:26So it's kind of removing the wrong guy.
153:28This is this is the most fantasy uh most reliable fantasy option we have here.
153:32And you know he's he's not reliable if he's not running the routes. So that leaves Courtland Sutton as the number one. But Sutton has had over his last
153:40four 0.86, 0.83, 1.51, and 1.55 yards per out runs.
153:46So just not not really drawing targets at a high rate. Uh 17, 14, 15, and 15% targets per out runs. So it's like, hey,
153:53you'll be out there running the routes, but just not a lot. Not a lot here. Marvin Mim still involved, 42% route
154:00participation last week, but not getting targeted and just kind of hurting everybody else. Evan Ingram had a good game last week. I guess you could you
154:07could say he's kind of a tight end too for season long stuff. That's something.
154:13>> Yeah.
154:13>> Where you at?
154:16>> Uh scared. Just terrified. I mean you I mean I get it like you're pro he's a favorite. The matchup's not like overly
154:22like daunting. You're probably just plugging him in. But I mean these are all the concerns I had with him as a
154:27prospect. I mean these running backs that come from these Gus Mzan systems like they just aren't pressed to do a lot of NFL things. And now that he's
154:34doing NFL things like you're seeing this problem for him. I he's not even playing a lot. I mean he he's his his all of his
154:41playing time actually dropped out of the buy from the game before the buy. Uh went from 60% of snaps to 47%. He went
154:48from 46% of the drop backs to 29%. Uh he had 57% of the backfield touches. That was RB25 on the week. He scored two
154:56touchdowns. That's what that was the good thing.
154:58>> But I think you would say like Denver's kind of like they're in bed here. like they kind of have to have this work out
155:04and if you're if they're going to win the game and they're going to be ahead, like this would be a spot to at least
155:08load them up with touches and like kind of try to work work your way through it, man. Like see like but are they going to
155:13do that? Is Shawn Peyton going to let him do that? It's tough. Uh because I think like objectively like you we're
155:18taught to just like play these spots, right? Favorite like got to get some touches, could catch the ball a little bit, but this is a player that's very
155:27playing very uninspiring football. Kind of like the Bo Knicks argument, right?
155:31It's the same thing. Like he's the bonicks of running backs right now. It's like what are you like >> it's it's so brutal to find Bon Knicks
155:37and the Bonicks of running backs on the same >> on the same roster, man. And >> yes, >> I get it though. I understand playing
155:45him. It's just it's hard. It's hard like you It's hard to feel like great like like we're not I don't feel cozy about
155:52it.
155:54>> No, I mean to just like not as an explosive running back to like not be efficient. I know he scored two
156:00touchdowns, but to not like be an efficient yardage producer against the Commanders is it's not good. It's like, isn't that the spot? He had minus 34
156:10rush yards over expected last week.
156:12Minus >> I mean, and that's been the story of him all season. Uh, and that's why he was never getting it's why he was never even
156:19threatening JK Dobbins. Like, he never even he never even pushed JK Dobbins.
156:24There was at one point this instance where we did the tootin thing. There was none of those.
156:29No, dude. Tooting on this offense.
156:34>> He'd be getting like 30 carries a week.
156:35>> And to be fair, this is what Shawn Payeyton does, too. Like >> the the guys that Shawn Peyton sometimes gets over bullish on in the draft is
156:43almost a trap door for us cuz like this guy traded the whole rest of his draft class at one time for Adam Troutman and
156:49never and never did anything.
156:50>> He's a terrible drafter. Let's be honest. Like >> he he he traded a bunch of picks for Marvin Mims and then
156:54>> Marvin M. Yeah.
156:55>> doesn't play him, >> dude. It's like he he he gets like giddy. He goes out on like a shopping spree, buys
157:03>> what I'm going to do with this guy.
157:05>> Yeah. And then you're like, "Okay, Sean, it's like trying to time to use Marvin Mims." He's like, "Oh, no. I'm not using
157:09that."
157:09>> He's the dude. You send him to the grocery store and they get anything on the list. He came back like a bunch of
157:15candy. It's just like, "What are we having for dinner?"
157:17>> This dude shops hungry.
157:19>> He goes to the grocery store starving and he just comes back with a bunch of crap. He's he was like, "What are we
157:25cooking? Like we don't have any actual ingredients, Sean.
157:28>> Yeah. Stuff, man.
157:31>> Yeah. Yeah. He got like a bunch of condiments and like, "Oh, what are we having for where's the meal? Where's the
157:37meal here?"
157:37>> He went over to the sample table, you know, he bought a bunch of this stuff.
157:41He's getting sold.
157:44>> Yeah. Yeah.
157:45>> The next guy that they trade up for, I'm going to be like, I'm not Nope. He's off the list, >> dude. He's the one coach where if he
157:52trades up, that's a that's a red flag.
157:56out of here, man. Eject on that, dude.
158:00>> No, >> but it's We'll probably look up, though.
158:03And then some the Broncos will have like 23 or 24 points and >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not worried about the Broncos from like a like a
158:12betting perspective. I think they'll be fine. They'll win this game.
158:16>> But, uh largely I think because the Raiders are really going to struggle here.
158:20>> Yep. Uh Gino Smith as we was as we've talked about has been very poor this year. Um here >> surprised he's still playing.
158:30>> I dude I'm very surprised. Like there's no reason like he's been worse than Jake Brownie.
158:37>> He's been he's he's he's a Tyler Shuck level quarterback. And guess what? He's not a rookie. There's not promise. I
158:43know they're like probably the same age, but uh there's there's not much uh not much future potential for for Gino Smith, I would say. So, I don't know.
158:51I'm playing Kenny Picket. Uh, if I'm them, I'm playing Aiden Oonnell. Cam Miller. They FCS quarterback they have on the practice squad. Let's see him.
159:00>> Yeah, that's a dude we want to play.
159:02Just who gives a [ __ ] and throw him out there.
159:04>> Who cares? Cam Miller's actually kind of fun. I don't know if you're >> That's why I said, let's have some fun.
159:09Yeah, let's have some fun. I don't need to see Carrie pickle, but I definitely I'm bored with this.
159:16Cam >> Miller's like kind He's kind of mobile.
159:17He's got a big arm.
159:18>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, let's see Cam Miller.
159:22Anyway, we don't >> Why not? Seriously, like you're Hey, guess what, Pete? You're getting fired.
159:28I'm sorry to tell you, you're not going to be here next year. You might as well see what this Cam Miller guy can do.
159:34>> Yeah.
159:37>> Yeah. So, anyway, uh it's not good. Broncos, uh elite defense, as we know, they're they're good against the run and against the pass. Jenty will
159:48get fed here. One thing. So, dude, did you realize this is We didn't talk about this. Greg Olsen.
159:54>> Yeah, it's his third third time.
159:56>> It's his third time being the the offensive third time in like and not like in 20 Oh, in 2002. Like, no, like
160:03in a decade this guy has has been three times the offensive coordinator of the Raiders.
160:08>> Incredible. Absolutely incredible.
160:10>> How does that happen?
160:13>> He was he was the OC for three years like six years ago. the NFL. These guys these guys never go away in the NFL.
160:20>> We always talk about it like they could fail forever.
160:23>> Yeah. Well, Olsson wasn't that bad with Gruden, I guess. I mean, but >> No. No.
160:28>> It was okay.
160:29>> Yeah. But it is funny though that it just keeps happening.
160:32>> I know.
160:32>> Well, I mean, everything they did was a disaster. I mean, they gave they made Chip Kelly the highest paid offensive
160:37coordinator >> and >> nope.
160:40>> Out of here. Pete's the quarterback they traded for is going to be out of there.
160:44And yeah, endgame economy.
160:46>> Let's hope he he might not be out of there.
160:48>> Yeah, they will. They have to.
160:50>> And then you assume the the the 70 what eight-year-old head coach that they hired is going to be out of there. How
160:56did this not work on paper?
161:00>> Everyone likes Pete Carol too much, including me. I was like, I do. I like Pete Carol too as the person. I like him
161:06a lot.
161:06>> He seems great.
161:07>> I like him a lot.
161:08>> Um the there was who who was it? Was it Breer?
161:13Uh, or no, it was Pelisero. Pelisero was talking about how there they had one plan this off seasonason and it was to
161:19get Ben Johnson and they thought Tom Brady could basically just talk Ben Johnson into taking his job. And then Ben Johnson immediately took another job
161:26like without even talking to them.
161:28>> Yeah.
161:29>> So then I think they kind of just didn't have another plan and they're like, "Wow, Pete's cool. Let's let's uh let's
161:35hire Pete."
161:37And then they wanted someone with uh this is Perisair. wanted someone with like more kind of offensive, you know, like creativity and so they they brought
161:46in Chip Kelly.
161:47>> That's how they threw the bag at Chip Kelly.
161:49>> Yeah. And none of that's all worked out for all parties. Maybe he'll just go back to Ohio State now that Heartline
161:54took that job.
161:56>> Yeah, maybe. Wait, where did Heartline go? I missed this. I'm not >> Florida. South Florida.
162:00>> He's the head coach there now.
162:02>> Yeah. Yeah.
162:02>> So, are we Is he Are we done with wide receiver you?
162:06>> I don't know, man. They did just sign uh they did just sign Chris Henry though.
162:10Chris Henry Jr.
162:11>> uh committed there. So, have you seen him at all? No. Do you do you remember Chris Henry senior? Right.
162:16>> I do remember him. Yeah.
162:17>> Yeah. Dude, his son is >> demon.
162:21>> Is he Is it like Brandon Jacob's son who's like uh >> not quite like Brandon Jacobson, but like he was definitely playing though.
162:27His high school highlights are like these might as well just be like sixy olds like I >> Okay. All right. Well,
162:33>> well, like, so they at least are recruiting still at a high degree.
162:37>> Okay. All right. I'm excited to watch Chris Henry Jr. highlights after this.
162:41>> Yeah, definitely get on those, man. Uh because he's probably just gonna be the next dude the next dude along.
162:46>> We uh Let me I'm going to email YouTube and see if they can get Chris Henry highlights as the recommended video for
162:52everybody after this after this.
162:54>> Yeah, please just send them right to it.
162:58>> There.
162:59>> Yeah. But I mean, you're playing JT because you have to.
163:02>> You have to, right?
163:03>> Probably not a huge ceiling. At least he's catching passes. But the Bron >> 30% target share last week, highest the
163:08season.
163:08>> They don't give a lot of catches to running backs because this is the one game during that sample, too, he didn't
163:12do anything as a receiver.
163:14>> So, >> 21% target share. So, it's kind of this the offense.
163:18>> It's just bad. Yeah, it's just bad spot offense is probably what it is. But, he is getting a threat uh a fed a lot of
163:24catches, which we do like. And then >> 83% of the carries last week, season high, 96% of snaps. workload workload there. Just the environment is just
163:32terrible.
163:32>> It's so bad. Bowers >> and then you're playing Bowers and he kind of would have had he has some appeal to me in DFS, but I don't know if
163:40he's gonna make it because we've just been talking about all these tight ends.
163:43>> I don't know that I'm playing him in DFS. I've got plenty of basketball team.
163:49>> I think he might be.
163:51>> I think he was DMT DMP. So Mayor being out was actually pretty cool for him because it's something I talk about all
163:56the time is just like I've hated the way they've used Bower since the buy. Uh so he played >> he was in line way more last week.
164:03>> Yeah. Because and and the only other game that he had a higher rate was week three when Mayor missed and uh you know
164:09I've been like harping on this. So if you want to play Bowers out wide it's cool in the lower red zone like the
164:15lower red zone where it works >> because you can win that's how you win the touchdown like you saw.
164:19>> Oh yeah, we saw that there's one onone.
164:22>> Yep. You could do it in the lower red zone, but you don't want to make it easy to defend Bowers outside of the red
164:27zone. And they have been playing >> that's fine. Like the Broncos don't have any good corners, right?
164:31>> No. No corners, >> but like Yeah. So him playing in line is is more uh I think advantageous for him,
164:38especially in this match. It gives some hope. Hey, listen. Denver, the last two weeks, Denver's given up some big games of some dust balls. And oh, I guess
164:46apologies to the I Travis Kelce is not warranted to be called dust ball, I guess, but he's old. Zack Z last week 10
164:53for one uh 106 and the week before that Kelsey had nine for 91 and a touchdown.
164:59>> I think if if Hurt Z is a dust ball Kelsey is too.
165:03>> I just age uh >> well it fall off. It's tough because Kelsey's still like better than most tight ends but he's so much worse than
165:10he used to be.
165:11>> Than he used to be. Fair.
165:13>> Yeah. But so Bowowers, the last time he played the Broncos, he was outwide at the same rate that he was in line. 22% of his snaps in line,
165:2322% out wide.
165:25>> Hate it. Hate it.
165:26>> Last week, 41% of his snaps in line. Uh and Mayor's DNP DNP, I don't know if he's out or not yet, but he hasn't
165:35practiced at least before today. So that would be pretty cool if that he plays online a bit more. I don't know that I'm
165:45gonna play him in DFS, though. Um, >> yeah, I probably I do like Tyler Warren, too, at 58.
165:54>> Yeah, I like I think I like Warren more 58 than Bowers at 6,000. There's just like the offense could just crater here
166:00so easily.
166:01>> Yeah.
166:02>> Uh, >> that's your out though that I think >> I'll be rooting for you, Brock.
166:06>> Yeah. Is that he's playing in line and they're getting him in more. Use your mismatch guy in the middle of the field.
166:11make it hard to take away the mismatch guy >> because you don't have any insulation.
166:16You line him up out wide. Every team is just like, "Oh, that's their best player."
166:22>> I know Mayor was out last week and maybe he'll be out again maybe, so it won't matter. But >> it was also a new OC and we did see him
166:30change the deployment. So So Olsen might be fully on board with everything you're saying. Let's hope. Hopefully for the stretch run we get some more inline and
166:38slot Brock Bowers and less of him just being put on an island.
166:42>> Yep. All right, let's talk Bears at Packers. You want to do Bears at Packers then close with Rams Cardinal?
166:50>> Either. Yeah, that's fine.
166:51>> Yeah, Rams Cardinal probably a little bit better game. We I just want to avoid where we close with a bad game, but
166:56that's a fun game.
166:56>> No, I think these are both These are both fun.
166:58>> Not equal. Yeah. Uh Bears could be fun.
167:01Could be up. It's gonna be a good real life football game, I think.
167:05So tell me because I'm actually not super optimistic about uh I'm semi-optimistic. Give share your optimism.
167:13>> Well, I mean I think the median outcome of this game is yes, there are a lot of Josh Jacobs and a lot of running on both
167:18sides of the football, but I do think that there's a path for, you know, we've got two teams that clearly it's a huge
167:23game for the division and sometimes you can just have uh >> uh this this maybe push the environment a little bit, a a little urgency from
167:31both coaching staffs in this game. Uh because both offensive coaches are good offensive coaches. So like if they we just if we nudge them, we can we can
167:40have some fun. And I do think it's it's a boom bust game I think from a fantasy stance. But I do think there's an
167:46outcome where we can get some push. Uh if Jordan Love gets pushed because the Bears are a boom bust defense, too. Like
167:52they're predicated on getting turnovers.
167:55Yeah. uh when they don't get turnovers, even in the Eagles game when they didn't get turnovers, they gave up big plays
167:59and there were and dude Jaylen Herds left a bunch of plays on the field that game and they played in like a wind bowl
168:04uh in that game, but like like got >> I don't even think the Bears I think Bears is just a bad defense with that's
168:09that's been getting turnovers. Like you want to talk about fraudulent defenses, Bears would be top of my list.
168:14>> I'm I want to see more of the sample of like them with the guys back, but like I would more lean in your department as
168:19well. Either way, I think that the Bears are not a good enough defense to where I'm scared of like the a good version of
168:25Jordan Love being stymied by them. So, if like we got a good version of Jordan Love where Jordan Love's pushed and he's
168:32very good against like man coverage, which will get mixed in. I mean, since week seven, the Bears have faced Spencer Rattler, Tyler Huntley, Joe Flacco,
168:42Jackson Dart, Jonathan James, Mason Rudolph, and Jaylen Herz.
168:48This is the best quarterback like pretty easily like in terms of efficiency everything. Even if you like Jaylen Herz and Jackson Dart from a passing stance,
168:55this is the best thrower of the football they have faced in a long%.
168:59>> So, >> well, here's here's the thing about Jordan Love. He's really really good.
169:03His efficiency this season is in is basically like overlapping with Drake May and EPA per game and success rate.
169:09He's he's at an MVP level. I >> People hate Jordan Love and they hate Brock Perie and they're like, we're the
169:14only dudes like, you know what, these guys are pretty good.
169:16I I I'm on board with both of them being good. I think maybe one of the people who hates uh Jordan Love is Matt Laflur
169:24because he refuses to play. He just he won't build an offense around this guy.
169:29>> Yeah.
169:30>> Like dude, Jordan Love could rip this Bears defense to shreds. Like I really feel strongly about that. They have >> they're the worst team in the league at
169:41generating quick pressure and they're second worst in pressure rate. They're ranked 29th in pass rush win rate and they blitz. They're not just sitting
169:49back in coverage. Like they are trying to create pressure and failing. They're 11th in blitz rate per dropback. Jordan Love is really good against the Blitz.
169:59This is the third most efficient team against the Blitz this season. I I think the Bears have a choice here. They
170:05either blitz one of the best quarterbacks against it or they have Jordan Love operating from a clean pocket. The Packers are the most
170:12efficient uh passing offense from a clean pocket this season.
170:16>> The number one thing that would help the Bears >> is if Matt Laflur calls a bunch of run plays in this game. Like if they if they
170:22just run this through the pass, the Bears I think are screwed because they can't like Caleb Williams has been, you know, able to keep things on the rails,
170:32I would say, but he has not been efficient over over like recently. Uh yeah, >> last three weeks, 33rd percentile in EPA
170:41per play against the Vikings, 55th against the Steelers, 28th against the Eagles, like the these it's been them being able to to play better defense
170:52than I think they will going forward.
170:54And the run game >> so if you put the Bears in a position where they have to drop back a bunch, I
171:01think the Packers defense could tee off.
171:03And I think uh Jordan Love could easily do that if you just let him. But I don't know. I the Packers are kind of they're
171:11they feel like the Bills to me, you know, where they're just for whatever reason just playing suboptimally and and refusing to lean on their best player.
171:21>> Yeah. I mean, that's probably what's going to happen. I'm just trying to talk myself into the Hey, what if what if
171:27what if we were allowed to have >> No, I I want the what if and I think look like love had we saw it, right? We saw we saw it
171:34on Thanksgiving. like if he gets cooking, like he can he can put up touchdowns. Like he has a he has a
171:41pretty high ceiling. Um and it it's it reminds me a little bit of Allen where it's like, hey, like they might not be
171:48calling pass plays at a high rate, but he's just going to be super efficient on the plays they do call. And then the
171:54problem with Love for a lot of the years is that you can't predict where the targets are going. But Christian Watson
171:59looks like a true number one now.
172:01>> So >> I think we do. We have a skinny stack.
172:04But we've got a love Watson skinny stack. You could throw in Dobs if you want.
172:07>> Uh unfortunately we don't have a tight end we can play in Green Bay, >> but Dobs is 4900. I think he's viable
172:14and probably won't be played because Watson taking over is kind of the story, but >> Watson's going to be played.
172:20>> Watson will be played. Um but I don't think Love will really be played.
172:24>> No, I I like uh Love. I had him in my tournament section. Um, again, it's a tournament play because again, they're
172:32probably handing the ball off to Josh Jacobs. But like I said, telling myself like this is an exploitable defense that he's got a cheap wide receiver you can
172:40play him with. You don't necessarily even have to need a bear with you.
172:44Although, now we've got some guys in play that we can add. So, I mean, I'm I'm I'm choosing to at least tell myself
172:51to not shut this game down completely, even though the median is not fun.
172:56the median's not fun, but like what if what if Love tosses a couple touchdowns from the eight yard line, you know, even if it is kind of a runheavy
173:05game plan, like he can be so efficient here.
173:08>> Um like last week against Detroit, 95th percentile in EPA per play. He was 96th percentile against the Steelers, 95th percentile against the Cowboys, 94th
173:17percentile in week one against the Lions. He was 85th against the Giants.
173:21He was 84th against the Bengals. He was 81st against the Vikings.
173:26>> This dude's been awesome so many times.
173:29Like, yeah, it it's >> and in tough matchups in some of these cases. Um, just not super soft.
173:37>> There's a chance that the Bears too also play the run well. They haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher in a game since week
173:42four. Uh, they're 11th in the league in rushing yards allowed to running back since that span uh since their buy. So,
173:48like there's a chance at least they they show up against Josh Jacobs. I mean, they they'll run Josh Jacobs against any
173:53good defense, but at least at least gives us the inkling of like even if Laflur comes out and wants to run, maybe
173:59they get pushed to pass, too.
174:03>> I hope so. I mean, I I don't The problem with this game environment is that I actually don't think they'll be pushed
174:09to pass. Um, unless like I guess DeAndre Swift rips off some long runs or Kung guys like super consistent.
174:18>> This is a volatile run defense. So like we saw like I mean dude Ben Johnson had Vic Fangio in hell was the most rushing
174:26yards Vic Fangio defense since 2005.
174:29Uh man like this run game is is cooking and it makes sense for cooking because they've invested all the veteran money
174:36into the offensive line. Uh, you know, Swift's a viable back. You know, Ma Man Manangi is like a great downhill, not a
174:43great downhill, but he's a downhill runner. And if you scheme him up like he can get downhill like >> RB6 and success rate, you know,
174:50>> they could you want him to do >> they could, I think, have rushing success here still. Um, and then we got
174:55the cheapies with the doomsday out.
174:58>> I think they can have rushing success rate, rushing success, uh, with a high success rate and that that's exactly what they'll try to do. Packers a pretty
175:05big runfunnel. Um, >> yeah. minus% poe against them.
175:10>> Panthers at home, they gave up 150 rushing yards. What the Giants ran for 132, the Tyrone Tracy and Singleary. So,
175:17like >> you can run on them a little bit.
175:19They're hit or miss.
175:20>> Check this out. Over the last four uh last five games, >> we've got pass rates of 43, 50, 47, 57,
175:27and 51. POE's of -5, -1, -7, - 9, -23.
175:33Like teams are attacking on the ground.
175:36Um, and in part it's because you don't want to deal with the pass rush.
175:42>> Are we supposed to play Swift with this then?
175:45>> I don't know, man. Because it's split.
175:47Swift had 38% of the carries to Manungi's 47% last week, 32 to his >> road dogs, >> which is a pretty big signal for Swift.
175:58Since their since the buy and the games they played together, Swift has played 63% uh of the snaps and 76% of backfield
176:07touches while trailing.
176:09>> Yeah, but he's had so last two weeks 3% and 6% target shares for Swift and 4% against the Vikings.
176:15>> So I I think if >> God I don't know if I'm playing Mungai, but >> um >> Well, you need the Bears to win. You you
176:23have to tell yourself the Bears win if you're playing Mungai.
176:26>> I don't know that I need the Bears to win. I I just need the Bears to be like the Pan.
176:29>> Well, comp you need it to be in a game, a competitive game.
176:32>> A competitive game.
176:33>> Yeah.
176:33>> But like I do trust the Packers to to keep I mean that's what the Packers do, right? They let teams hang.
176:38>> They let teams They let teams play competitive football. Yeah. I mean this is a team that lost the Panthers and
176:41Browns.
176:43>> Manunga is I think too expensive at 5,400. But >> yeah, >> that's what we kind of talked about. The prices just don't drop.
176:49>> Yeah. I mean he's in the 4,000s. Like if he was 46, I think I'd play him.
176:55>> Yeah. if he was Chris Rodriguez priced.
176:57>> Yeah, if he was Chris Rodriguez, I would I would play Manunga here. Um, and I think like I think he's gonna be a big
177:03part of the game plan. Uh, and then they're going to try to have some some passing shots off of that obviously. So,
177:11Doomsday's officially out, right?
177:13>> Out. He's rolled out.
177:16>> Where you at on Luther Burton?
177:19>> Yeah, I mean, thank you. Got to feel good about it. So, we have a very small sample. I did pull these stats earlier
177:23because I was kind of thought he was trending. So, we have a very small sample with Dunes off the field. But
177:27Burton leads the team in target share, area yards, and receiving yards on those snaps. And he's also been just a lot
177:33better against zone than man coverage, which is all the Packers do. So, I know DJ Moore is going to get more work, but
177:40and they're going to toss him out there to be a more lead wide receiver stuff, but I always thought that it was going
177:44to be better for Burden if one of more doomsday missed because it would allow to be allow him to be in a hybrid role
177:51versus just Zakias like playing more slot stuff because Burden I think can win vertically a lot better as a prospect. I always believed for this
177:58that he was a better downfield receiver than it than he was like just being a slot receiver. So, I'm actually more
178:03excited to see him in this type of role.
178:06Um, now we wish the match up top down was overall better, but I do think there's enough signal stuff here because
178:11like you said, Caleb could just be bad in this matchup. And but at this price point, I feel pretty good about him and
178:18Loveland at his price point because I think when you compare Loveland at 3,200 versus 3,200 other receivers, his ceiling is a lot better too than a lot
178:27of those guys. So maybe >> you can do something with like Lovelin plus a better tight end or something like that too. though cuz what if the
178:35answer is with redun out that Ben Johnson does want to attack this run game and they play more 12 personnel and
178:41it is more tight end stuff and then that's Lovelin getting create. So I I'm in on Burden and I'm in on Loveland here
178:48with this injury.
178:49>> I like that take about 12 personnel a lot because that makes so much sense, right? Instead of getting Zakius back on
178:55the field, you get Lovelin on the field.
178:57So you get a better receiver on the field >> and you can still stay in the run. You can still stay on the run.
179:01>> Yeah. And we know, we know they want to run the ball here. I mean, that's that's how they've been attacking recently. Um,
179:08they had 40 carries last week, dude. 40 running back handoffs. Like, this is uh, you know, >> dude, they ran so much. Jaylen Carter
179:17hurt both his shoulders at head.
179:23>> And they've got two backs who can do it.
179:24Like, Swift's been pretty solid this year. And, um, Manungai's been very, you know, good success rate and everything.
179:31They asked Ben Johnson about it this week about him versus like now versus the what the difference between uh Detroit and he flat out said he trusts
179:39my scheme more >> like he believes in Ben Johnson said that about DeAndre Swift now versus because he had him in Detroit and they
179:48asked him what the difference was because and he said he believes in the scheme more than he did >> then he's doing the things I'm asking
179:55him to do is what he basically said.
179:58>> Mhm. They're like, "All right."
180:00>> I also wonder if Swift knows like for real that like the stick is the stick is real. Like we will get rid of you. We
180:06did it once.
180:07>> Yeah.
180:08>> Do we But he has been >> Yeah. He's been, >> you know, much more consistent. He's still not He's still kind of DeAndre
180:17Swift. He's got a 43% success rate, but just running back 26. But >> it normally very very poor. Yeah. More more. He's he's the boom bust runner,
180:27but he's been less less bust in there.
180:29Um, seasonl long stuff, I think he's fine. You could throw who do we mention before? Oh, Chris Rodriguez. Like Manungai in a season long league, I'm
180:38I'm playing over Rodriguez pretty easily. Um, which I know is on the highest bar, but like if you need that flex type of option, uh, I think he's
180:45he's actually decent enough. Um, yeah, on the burden stuff, I think he, you know, people have talked about him a
180:54little bit as like kind of, you know, like a like a Cadaras Tony or Percy Harvin or that kind of thing. But I
181:04think he's he's more like a young DJ Moore where he's he's good. You get him the ball in his hands underneath, you
181:10get you get the ball in his hands deep, too. Like he can he can do both. Um, so I agree with you that he's kind of a a
181:18vertical threat. Uh, he has had over the last three weeks 61, 61, and 58% round participation. Uh, DJ Moore's coming off
181:2898%. So, he's not playing any more than he did against the Eagles, >> right?
181:32>> Uh, but you look at Luther Burton, like his profile is pretty good. Uh, 2.19 yards per out run, 23% targets per out
181:40run. It's like, get this guy some more routes and we could be cooking here.
181:44Now, I don't think he'll like be a true full-time receiver this week, even if with Oduni out. Uh, probably like 75 80%
181:5285 would be pretty sweet.
181:53>> But again, we'll take that at 3,800 and your stuff. And your season long stuff, too, like you're probably getting him in
181:59over, well, I shouldn't say on every roster he makes it, but I think, you know, you'll be more bullish to play him
182:04over a number of guys, like if you were playing like Jordan and dudes like that, like you're definitely playing Luther Burton.
182:10>> Yeah. Where are you at on him versus like an 80 Mitchell?
182:14>> I would still probably trust Mitchell more just because the >> I think I would too >> just because the the volume has been so
182:21steady and they don't really have a lot to go off of. Like we could still see a game like there's a range of outcomes
182:26where the the Bears do run really well and they don't have a lot of passes and then it's spread out a little bit. That
182:32still exists in the range of outcomes.
182:33So I wouldn't vault them over there. I had a couple last night ask me about with the Aman Raw stuff with uh Burden.
182:38I was like nope you got to play Aman Raw. You gotta play Amra.
182:42>> Um >> I'm playing I'm playing Burden over more though.
182:47>> Uh yes, I am too.
182:50>> Okay.
182:50>> I I mean I am too.
182:52>> I wasn't sure. I was like, is this a hot take or not? But I don't think >> No, I think I think we're gonna you're
182:56going to have more routes than DJ DJ Moore, but let's just let's just let's just drop it. It's Dennis Moore Jr. Uh
183:02he doesn't deserve it anymore. Uh >> how do you have all of these in the holster?
183:09It's just a swerving into this is my new thing. I'm calling everyone by their government. Uh yeah, >> in this outfit it works.
183:17>> Yeah. Coming into your town, Dennison.
183:20Coming into your town name.
183:22>> Yeah, the sheriff you. Um but yeah, I'm with you. I'm with you as well. I I because what what is what has Dennison
183:29shown us this year? Like what has there ever been to be excited about?
183:32>> Not much, man. Couple weeks ago, he had a good game. You got to give him that.
183:36>> But he had touchdowns cuz he had a good he doing in a game touchdowns. So that's what you're hoping for if you're playing
183:41him. I think you're just like my guys this guy's going to run more routes and I hope he scores a touchdown
183:46>> where at least with Luther Burton like you might have something for some upside. Um but I'm with you. I'm still
183:53like I said I'm still playing like I I have AD Mitchell still over those guys.
183:57Um trying to think like who else is even kind of intoxicating over there that we could even have a fun conversation
184:02about.
184:04>> Yeah, I mean Luther Burton could be anything. even Dennis.
184:07>> I mean, I'm playing Luther Burden over like Xavier Worthy like >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Let me let me make sure
184:14I have have that that ranked that way. Uh yeah, I already have them ranked. Don't need to change anything. Already have
184:22>> you know, like something in that range, you know, like I'm trying to think down there. I like >> I have I have Alec Pierce ahead of him
184:28and Romeo Dobs ahead of him, but I don't feel that strongly and I might move him up.
184:32>> Yeah, I I mean I like Pierce more because Pierce's floor has been really good. Yeah, >> I could get on the board of uh Dobs,
184:37though, because you kind of need a touchdown from Dobs, too. But I think that's where where we're talking.
184:42>> I think I'm I'm think I'm gonna move him ahead of Dobs. Doing it right now.
184:45>> Yeah, I like it.
184:46>> I like it.
184:48>> All right, we're we're playing Luther.
184:51>> Uh Josh Jacobs we kind of talked about a bit, but uh he's going to be very popular in DFS and for good reason. I
185:02mean, he set up like kind of all the highlevel stuff.
185:04>> Huge home favorite.
185:06>> Yeah. Team wants to run the ball. Team, you know, should be able to run reasonably well. Touchdown equity.
185:14Um, but it's also kind of easy to see how he fails, right? He just doesn't score two touchdowns. He scores even he
185:20scores one touchdown, I I don't know that he's going to get major chalk.
185:24>> He's gotten you the bonus zero times. He has zero 100 yard rushing games.
185:29>> He hasn't been very good this year. I mean, he's been okay as a receiver. He >> just gets a huge workload and scores a
185:34shitload of touchdowns.
185:35>> Yeah.
185:36>> I mean, that's enough though, like to be fair. Like, >> yeah, I mean, that is pretty cool and extremely useful for fantasy.
185:43>> You get the ball out and you score all touchdowns. I saw that quote. Uh, we were going to talk about Dvonte in a
185:47second, but did you see that quote from Dvonte Adams last week where he's like, "This is the most fun I've ever had
185:51playing football." It's like, I bet it is. You have 24 [ __ ] end zone targets. Like, like super fun to score a lot of touchdowns.
185:59Like, >> yeah. Plus, I I bet the breakfasts with Matthew Stafford have like a little bit of a different energy than the ones with
186:04Aaron Rogers. Do you know what I mean?
186:06>> Oh, different topics coming up.
186:10>> They're eating at that Taco Bell at Devonte Adams house.
186:12>> Oh, man. We were talking about this on on DFS Pod. It's like, how the hell is Devonte Adams gonna set
186:20the touchdown record? Not with Aaron Rogers and Matthew Stafford's going to set the touchdown the record of like most quarterback to receiver touchdowns.
186:29Not from Stafford to Megatron, but from Stafford to Adams. It's just like these guys are famous for a connection with another quarterback. And yeah,
186:36>> another guy. Another guy.
186:38>> Yeah, it's it's it's wild.
186:40>> But I get it though. Josh Jacobs, like you know what you're we know what we're signing up for.
186:46>> Yeah, he's a good play. Like I understand why he's chalk. I don't know that I'm gonna and I'm not gonna like
186:52hard fade him or anything, but I >> I'm looking for ways to maybe I'm I'm examining the ways in which I don't play
186:59Josh Jacobs in lineups because I could see I could see how it fails. And one of the ways is Jordan Love. Like
187:04>> my interest in Jordan Love is partly driven by the fact that Jacobs is going to be really chalky. And I do think this
187:09team scores points. Like >> this is why I like Jordan Love as a tournament player.
187:14>> Yeah, >> it's all lining up. I didn't even compute the uh the the high popularity of Josh Jacobs. Now I'm extra excited to
187:21get burned by three one yard touchdown runs. Three one yard.
187:26>> I can't wait to lose money on Jordan Love. Now >> I can't wait to watch Josh Jacobs rush in three touchdowns from the three yard
187:32line.
187:34Never been more excited for the most obvious thing ever. But I'm going to do it.
187:40>> All right. I'm glad you're with me. I'm doing it, too.
187:42>> No, listen. I I was the one that open tried to come in and say like I'm a little more open on the the Jordan Love
187:47side.
187:48>> Yeah, we'll uh we'll be there together.
187:51Um and there is uh around I don't think we'll be like the bottom, but you know, we're going to be like
187:58the >> 30th percentile lineup. Um all right, let's let's go to the Rams and the Cardinals and close this bad boy
188:08out.
188:10>> Home stretch here. Uh Cardinals. Let's talk Cardinals first because uh Rams Rams is kind of more fun in some ways and also fairly quick to
188:21wrap up. But >> the Cardinals um we don't have Marvin Harrison here.
188:26>> So we're going to have the Michael Wilson stuff again probably. We also don't have Greg Dorch.
188:32>> However, the Rams have an elite pass defense. Um we the effic efficiency has never been that good with Brassette.
188:40Like that's that's kind of one of the the funny things about this is that like he's peaking at like uh he he was 70th
188:47percentile paper play against the Cowboys, but he came in that game, right? That No, no, that was his first start. That was his first start. My bad.
188:55So that's that's the one game >> was >> Colts. Uh yeah. Okay. Um >> that was his last good game though and
189:02that was their only win. So >> Right. So since then he's been uh so 70th and then 18 55th 30th 55th in EPA
189:11per play. He did have a really good success rate last week and that's kind of been the story with him is that he's
189:16been consistent enough the run game stinks so they just they just let him chuck it all the time. Uh they now have
189:23had four games with a 73% plus pass rate in a row. They have five of those this year. They're the only
189:31team that has hit that mark five times.
189:33Um, so and one of those games was against the Seahawks who have an elite pass defense. Now, I've talked about how
189:40they're kind of a pass funnel because they're so good against the run, too, but they weren't uh they they were not
189:45swayed from passing on the Seahawks. I kind of feel like they'll pass here, too. But that you have both there's two
189:54red flags for this match up for the Cardinals. the Rams defense is good enough to really hurt efficiency, which hasn't been that great to begin with,
190:02and the Rams defense is good enough that they maybe don't pass as aggressively.
190:05I'm I'm less concerned about the second one because I think they'll probably just pass through it. But it is at least
190:11worth mentioning because that the Rams are a bit of a runfunnel right now.
190:16>> But, uh, I don't know where what are your thoughts on kind of the fragility of the the Cardinals here in a tough
190:22matchup versus like the Cardinals are just going to chuck it. Yeah, I've been waiting for this other shoe to drop and
190:27it hasn't yet because ever since I've been doing this and writing all this stuff up and I even did an article at
190:33Roto World about like the myth of garbage time, uh, it usually expires.
190:38The way that the Cardinals and Jacobe vers is scoring fantasy points typically is not the way you can consistently score fantasy points. I know a lot of
190:47people think that you can, but uh, he hasn't even thrown a first half passing touchdown since week nine. Um, this team
190:54is absolutely just getting shellacked every week. They're just down huge points at halftime every week. They're the worst point differential over the
191:01past month. They're 24th in scoring rate per month. In the first half of games, the past four weeks, he's averaging four
191:07and a half fantasy points per game. It's right between Gino Smith and Cam Ward.
191:10And then the second half, he's been able to come back. And maybe because the matchups have lined up, but he does have
191:16a Seahawks game on his resume. So, I've been like, is it is this where like it finally expires? Rams then Texans next
191:22week. is this who they play and it's just like is this where it finally all comes to a head and like they're not
191:27able to pass themselves out of uh because the other thing too is he's barely getting there. He's he's passingelves up because you already hear
191:34the stat like Jacob sets a QB1 in every game he played but he's like literally like QB8 through QB12 every week. He's
191:40just like he hasn't thrown more than two passing touchdowns. He's just getting you to like the good floor >> and like barely. And that's not a knock
191:49because you still get that floor. or the point. You don't give away the points.
191:51I'm not asking him to give him out, but I'm like the fragility of this like he's just barely getting to like the crest of
191:57that what's good and it's like in a fragile capacity how he's getting there.
192:01So like >> and I think in our minds it's probably overrated a little bit because the targets go to a tight end which is
192:07always awesome and largely a cheap receiver.
192:11>> Yes.
192:12>> So it's like oh this is so sick. Like this production is so great >> because we've been because you've been
192:18able to sack him. He's been stackable like in all these times. I mean, it's a little harder now. Like both sites have
192:24made Trey McBride like he's really costly. I mean, he should be he should be as expensive as he is to be fair.
192:30>> They're just Jonathan tailoring him.
192:31Yeah. It's like >> Yeah. Yeah. Um so I'm a little more hesitant here, but again, like I I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop
192:39and it hasn't yet. So maybe it just won't because we've seen M. Jones for 300 yards twice against the Rams. Like
192:44Bryce Young had an okay g not okay game.
192:46He had a good game, but he did have two fourth down touchdown passes that kind of >> uh like you don't want to live that way.
192:53>> So, I'm I'm a little nervous here just because I've been waiting for the other kind of like I said for real shoe to
192:58drop.
193:01>> Yeah, I'm nervous as well, especially like I don't know. I'm kind of two minds where I don't want to I don't want to
193:08like write this game off, but there's other game environments that I like and I don't want to >> play like I'm I'm gonna have trouble
193:17playing brassette stacks over other stuff I like this week.
193:22>> Um but at the same time, I do think like let me just if I think through Brousette in a vacuum, I think the Cardinals still
193:29pass a bunch here. Um, and I think he he won't like totally crater and I think Michael Wilson will get a bunch of
193:36targets because >> Dorch and Harrison are out and Xavier Weaver is not going to not going to be it. And and the the type of targets that
193:43Wilson have has been getting have been first read targets that they're calling plays with him in mind. 30% first read target rate against the Cowboys, 22% Oh,
193:54sorry, that's I just read Harrison's.
193:56Uh, but the funny thing is that Har so Harrison was 30 30% against the Cowboys, 22% 22% against the Seahawks.
194:04Then he misses and it goes 35% to Wilson, 25% to Wilson. Then Harrison's back and it's 24% back to Harrison. So
194:12like Harrison wasn't delivering as efficiently as Wilson with the with the first reads, but for weeks now since the buy, their top receiver is just getting
194:21peppered with first read targets and that'll be Wilson again. Um, and so yeah, I think we can kind of count on
194:29that. Now, saying you can count on Michael Wilson to definitely get peppered with targets is is probably wrong, but the field is
194:38going to play it that way. He's going to be massive chalk this week. Um, and at what he's 5600, I think.
194:44>> Yeah.
194:45>> Uh, I I get it. Like, I totally get it.
194:48Uh but yeah, I mean what I guess what are your thoughts on him as just like a huge huge chalk piece?
194:55>> Yeah, I think it's just one of those like you're playing the price and the volume, right? Like we don't like the
195:00matchup. We definitely understand the fragility, but it's a 30% target share at 5600, right? Like let the fantasy gods take the wheel type deal. That's
195:09really what it was. I mean, on the field Sunday, the plays were Marvin Harrison and him were on the field. He had 13% of
195:15the targets on Sunday. The second Marvin Harrison left that game, he went to 34.
195:18He had 30.4% of targets.
195:20>> It's like it's it's like you said like they're gonna they they only have one play style because they can't line up
195:26and run either. They don't have any running backs. Like >> no, they don't.
195:31>> It's like that's been the other part of the coin of this too is like they they've been trotting out their fourth
195:37running back of the year. Like fourth and fifth running backs. Like >> let me ask you this. If you're if you're
195:44playing Michael Wilson, are you like okay doing that with um >> I think in a cash game style. Yes.
195:50>> Taylor or whatever. Yeah.
195:52>> In a cash game I think you're playing him, but I do think that you pivot in like tournament stuff. We talked about
195:58McLaren's 52. Christian Watson is uh right there. Uh I I think he's okay to pivot off of in tournament stuff for
196:06sure. Well, well, I was going to ask if you are playing him. Like, are you thinking about who you're stacking is
196:11because because Brassett's 5700, so it's like, hey, I'm playing Michael Wilson and then I'm trying to go play like Trod Taylor stuff. Like, why wouldn't I just
196:19not play Michael Wilson? Like, I'm kind of betting against the Brassette stack and I'm playing another cheap stack.
196:25like >> well I think the play that the angle you would have on that is you couldn't compare him to Tyrod because he's like
196:32uh the same price but it's just that the guys Brassett's against now because like I just laid out Brousett's getting you
196:37like there he's getting you to it the like to a good number but not like blowing away is that he's not like 4xing
196:44a salary very often.
196:45>> Right. Right.
196:46>> But we talk about like the other guys in that range I do think represent larger upside. We talked about Jordan Love at
196:5259.
196:53>> Yeah. Uh we talked about Daniel Jones.
196:55Um >> yeah, maybe. So like that's the difference.
196:59>> The guys who really have the ceiling here is that you would just play Wilson as a oneoff.
197:04>> Um is that instead of saying I have to bring BC along with Wilson because Wilson can get there still and Brassette
197:10still just gets you like 19 >> and like then maybe your other guy gets you the 25 this week or or potentially
197:16higher. But >> but we talked about some >> some punt plays like Shuck and McCarthy and uh and I I would say Taylor to an
197:24extent where you're also just hoping they get you there. And if I'm playing Michael Wilson in those lineups, I think I'm just finding a way to get to
197:28Brassette if I'm like if I just need a if I have Wilson and I just need a quarterback who's like h Yeah, pretty
197:35good for the salary.
197:36>> I think I just want to stack.
197:37>> Yeah, because Tyrod's under five still.
197:39Um righty's under five. Shuck's under five.
197:43>> Shador's under five.
197:49How much lower under five?
197:51>> Yeah, he is not. He's not lower than four. So, >> I don't know.
197:59But I do think that it's a huge fulcrum point this week at McBride's pricing because like where he's priced and like
198:04we we've talked a lot about tight ends on this slate like being kind of into a lot of tight ends and like usually if
198:09you're paying up at other positions like tight ends the first you cut but maybe Lovelin being 32 opens up the door for
198:15you can do McBride plus a cheap tight end.
198:19>> I don't mind expensive. He's expensive.
198:21>> He is expensive. Yeah, McBride's 8,000.
198:24So he's being priced like the elite wide receiver that he is. But yeah, >> uh on FanDuel, I think he's 86.
198:33>> Wow.
198:34>> Yeah. 86 on FanDuel.
198:38>> That's a That's a chunk coin.
198:41>> Don't they know he doesn't score touchdowns?
198:43>> Yeah. And uh Yeah, that's all he does now. Score touchdown.
198:46>> That's all he does. It's just Skyler apparently, >> dude. And also, dude, we talked about all the stuff the Cardinal He's running
198:5245 pass routes a game.
198:55>> Yeah. Well, I mean, he's a receiver.
198:57Like, he's he's the idea that, you know, >> he's a cheat code. He's he's the new cheat code.
199:02>> And that's the thing. Every year, if you go back and look at tight end fantasy scoring, almost tried and true, the
199:08number one tight end in fantasy football is the dude that ran the most routes that year. Evan Ingram did it one year.
199:14Like, >> yeah, >> it's uh you know, Bowowers was ran the most routes last year. Like, it's almost tried and true. the dude that just the
199:22tight end that is on the field the most is the dude that scores both points.
199:27>> Yeah. Although there's there's things >> there are I mean it's not as simple as that but remember Hawkins in the one
199:31year ran the most routes when he got traded the Vikings and that was what he was like he ran the hottest man
199:35>> but in order to run the most routes you have to have really high route participation. McBride leads all tight ends with 92%. So and like you only get
199:43there by being a different dude generally. So >> being a different dude.
199:46>> Yeah. So, it kind of it's a way of highlighting.
199:49>> I oversimplified it, but it's just the >> Yeah, the there there is a signal there.
199:55It's like this dude's not a normal tight end. That's the beautiful beautiful thing about paying up for tight end, right? It's like like you get a
200:01different type of player than everyone else has generally.
200:04>> Yeah.
200:04>> Um and that McBride's he's a wide receiver >> and a very good one.
200:08>> And he hasn't even played the Bengals yet.
200:11>> Oh my god. When does he >> the two weeks the championship week?
200:15Let's We just got to get there, man. We just got to get there with this McBride.
200:20>> Well, a lot of people were doing the Chase McBride T like >> Oh, right, right, right.
200:24>> Yeah.
200:26>> In in in August, I could tell you all the week 17 matchress, but the funny like two two three weeks before I'm like
200:33they start to fade uh because I've got so many other matches floating around.
200:37>> Yeah. Is it um Yeah, that's a championship week um that he gets them.
200:42The Bengals have like two hot like back-to-back weeks. I think they go Dolphins. They go Dolphins Cardinals >> because Bowowers I was looking at
200:49Bowowers schedule. It's not so great.
200:52>> Well, >> he get he gets the Giants in week 17 which could be very fun. But Eagles and Texans before then
200:59>> and obviously the Broncos this week. So >> getting Bowers to the championship could be tough.
201:04>> Yeah.
201:05>> Um all right, let's talk Rams to close out. Stafford's coming off a rough game, but it's kind of one of those games
201:12where it's like the big plays killed his efficiency. Decent success rate. Had the pick six.
201:18>> Uh had another interception bounce off a guy's helmet. Got strip >> sack.
201:23>> Yeah. In the end zone. Yeah.
201:24>> And the strip sack came when they were in field goal range.
201:26>> Yep. Yep. So really really >> EPA swings, but they were number one in yards per play last week still too. They
201:32were they were cooking still.
201:33>> Yeah. Puka had 2.77 yards per out run.
201:36Adams was at 2.64. So kind of was it there's nothing really that concerning about last week when you zoom out and
201:43you know forward looking it's like yeah they'll be fine and uh the Cardinals don't generate pressure all that well kind of a mediocre pass defense and
201:53they're 30th in dropback success rate so you can kind of just like chunk gain them to death which is I mean you do not
201:59want to be playing the Rams with that weakness. They're the number one uh passing offense and success rate. So yeah, I think the Rams will be very uh
202:08productive this week. Puka Adams, the biggest concern is like do they just put them into negative game script? Uh the Cardinals, I mean, and then they just
202:16are able to run the ball uh against the Cardinals. Uh they have a 28 point implied team total though, so >> yep,
202:24>> we should have points. It's like how competitive are the Cardinals? And you know what, I will say credit to the
202:29Cardinals here. They're probably gonna pass the ball and um maybe that >> they'll push up. Yeah. Yep.
202:35>> Yeah. So, >> they're not going to do what Carolina did even though that game still had like a high scoring like in terms of box
202:41score, but Carolina did it through the running backs.
202:44>> Yeah.
202:45>> The Cardinals ain't doing that, man.
202:47This backfield is not capable of doing that against this defense.
202:51>> And and I will note last week uh to that point about the Panthers. Panthers totaled 40 carries against the Rams. Y
202:58>> uh but they never like put the Rams in truly negative game script. So the Rams had a 58% expected pass rate and then
203:04the Rams only had the ball for 24 minutes and 44 seconds, fifth lowest time of possession of the week. So they
203:11were in this weird like sometimes when you have low time of possession, you at least are like in pure passing script,
203:17but they weren't. They're in like balance script and they didn't have the ball much. So they they didn't they only had uh 30 drop backs, I believe. that
203:26the Rams got back 30 times.
203:29So, the per route stuff was good. Um, and then there were some key turnovers and they just didn't have the ball that
203:37much. So, >> all in all, it's just like one of those weird games that I don't think tells us that much. The Rams should be putting up
203:44plenty of points this week. Um, I mean, as far as like DFS stuff goes, uh, what do you are how much interest do
203:53you have in like Rams passing game given that the game environment is like a little fragile as we talked about on the
203:59Cardinal side?
204:00>> Yeah, I still think that this team is very incentive driven and they're going to try to get these guys these records.
204:05Uh, so I mean I still think Stafford's probably going to throw is a good bet for multiple touchdowns if not maybe
204:12doubling multiple touchdowns because if we get the push. So I think they want Stafford MVP. I think they want Dvonte Adams to get this touchdown stuff. Um, I
204:20think that's that that's going to happen. They're going to score points.
204:23Like you said, the Cardinals are going to have to keep throwing. So, I'm actually kind of more optimistic that even if it even if the Cardinals suck
204:29that the Rams are keep doing their thing because I think they're here to score a lot of touchdowns through the air at
204:34this point and we've got them openly talking about preserving Kairen Williams for the playoffs now. So yeah, I'm kind of just in it. The one the thing we've
204:43reached with the Rams though is we did this we reached this point last year with the Bengals is it's just it's just
204:48hard to play both guys like you it's just hard to play Stafford Nua and Adams even though it's like so condensed
204:56especially with Higgby being out now it's just super hard to play them that's all it is but I think they're all going
205:03to be really good. I think Puka is be hyper efficient. I think they're definitely going to throw a bunch more end zone. He's two behind the record
205:09since it's been charted. We don't know if it's the official record because we don't have uh like endzone charting like for forever. Like we don't know how many
205:16endzone targets Jerry Rice had one year, right? But >> he has Devonte Adams has 24 endzone targets. The uh Mike Evans 2016 has the
205:24chartered record at 26. He's two behind it. Probably passes it right now in this.
205:31>> Uh the the other note too is that Adams could have more efficiency here because of like Cardinals under Jonathan Ganon.
205:37They love to play a lot of two high cover four and like that's been a pretty big signal for Dvonte Adams. Uh he's
205:43been targeted on 34% of his routes against two high safeties, two and a half yards per run. So it could be an
205:47efficiency game plus the touchdowns for Adams too as well because he is also averaging his uh fewest yards per game since his second season. Um which is
205:56kind of been mass because you just score a shell of touchdowns but >> Right. Right.
205:59>> Yeah. But I like I like it all though.
206:01Um it's just hard to fit in.
206:04>> That's where I'm at. Uh, I do like the the Adams angle here for sure. Um, and I agree with you. I mean, like
206:13this is not some uh, you know, hey, if this guy hits like 850 yards, he gets an extra mill or whatever.
206:23>> Yeah, >> this is the MVP. They have a chance to have Stafford win the MVP. Like you, this is legacy stuff. This is an older
206:30quarterback.
206:31>> Do you remember they played Puka the week 18 to break that rookie record?
206:34Yeah.
206:36>> But like they've all and they did it with Gurley when Gurley was going to break the record. Like this team they
206:41will let their guys cook to get their incentives, man.
206:44>> They should like this is this is like >> these are achievements.
206:48>> This is how you make a great work environment. This is how you get people to come play for you.
206:52>> 100%. This is like Yeah. This is like when you're retired, you're like, "Yeah, I won two MVPs or whatever." You know,
206:58like this is how you freaking do it. I don't know. Um the Stafford I guess he has a Super Bowl MVP. He doesn't have any actual MVPs,
207:06does he?
207:06>> No. No.
207:07>> No. Yeah. So you win one MVP. Maybe maybe he gets his second one in there.
207:12Uh yeah. I mean I think I Yeah.
207:17>> We almost did them for the wagon. We did talk before the show about who we're going to use for the wagon, Bills or
207:22Rams. And it was they were the second team we considered.
207:25>> We would have used them for the wagon.
207:27Just to pull the curtain back here on on the wagon talk. Um, you know, some wagons actually have curtains. So, just
207:33imagine that. Here I'm in the back of the wagon. I'm pulling the curtain back.
207:37>> The Rams would have been the wagon if Rich wasn't wearing this outfit and we didn't have to wait three and a half
207:42hours to explain it. So, we could have said at the top that the Rams are the wagon of the week.
207:50We were >> Yeah, >> but it was too late in the show.
207:53>> Yeah, it was too late.
207:54>> But yeah, this is our this is our in spiritually the Ram.
207:57>> This is our wagon, baby. The wagon of the week. The team's just rolling right now. This team is just they're a wagon.
208:03>> They are [ __ ] wagon. We're going to have a nice old picnic. Load that wagon up. Like we're just whatever you need to
208:09put in that wagon.
208:10>> They're a wagon.
208:10>> Yeah, this is our wagon of the week, baby. What does that mean? What does wagon mean?
208:15>> All right, there we go. Two wagons.
208:18>> You know, that that clip works great with the outfit because the the last image is me with the black hat and it
208:23just morphs me into this.
208:24>> Yeah, it does. I That's true. Every time we played it, it's like it's come back.
208:29I'm like, "Oh, are we back? Are we Is this Is this real?"
208:32>> Um, >> I won't wear this every week, but since my wife got I can't wait to >> No, I love it. Uh Kobe Parkinson, just
208:40to touch on real quick. I mean, he's >> he's drawn targets. This Rams tight end stuff is a little frustrating though,
208:46like >> uh here, I'll pull up the the charts.
208:49We've got this is Parkinson, 43% round participation, 38% targets per outr run the last week.
208:56He's he's been involved on the field, but we're just not seeing a ton of uh you know, routes going to one guy. Davis
209:04Allen last week was at 30%. Ferguson was at 27%.
209:07And they're all kind of getting targeted. Ferguson hasn't done anything with his targets recently, but he was earlier.
209:13>> Yeah, it's a bummer.
209:14>> Davis Allen had decent target rates, you know, a few weeks. So, it's it's tough because like Parkinson's profile looks pretty good. Um 18 1.84 24
209:24yards per out run, 25% target per run, which is the highest among all tight ends. But none of this like I believe is
209:31Parkinson. I think it's like there's a role. This is we talked about earlier like is there a tight end role or a
209:36tight end? This is a tight end role.
209:38There's clearly like tight end role and >> and multiple tight end roles because they they run a lot of like jumbo stuff.
209:44Um so I just it's tough for me to be like, yeah, Parkinson's definitely going to be the one getting the targets, but
209:51um some tight end will.
209:54that. Yeah, Warren will probably score a touchdown.
209:56>> Yeah, but it would be a cool role if Shawn McVey could pick his favorite. Uh, but I don't know that he will.
210:02>> No, his favorite.
210:03>> Any interest in Kairen here? I know you talked about him, >> but he was in a similar role to last
210:08week. like it wasn't.
210:09>> Yeah.
210:10>> Just because they openly have said like they they've they're trying to get him fewer touches >> because what the you look at like his
210:18overall touch count like the past six weeks and he's had one game where he's had more than 16 touches.
210:24>> Um and it would be different too if like the role was like kind of compartmentalized. But like I think three of the past four weeks we've seen
210:30Cororm get goal line carries too. Like so there's kind of like there's like kind of no rhyme or reason to what when
210:36it's happening. It's just kind of like they're mixing it in.
210:39>> The thesis when they drafted Cororum was that basically he's Kairen again and that's how they're they're playing him.
210:43>> That's exactly it, man. I mean, he he he has one to one game with over 100 total yards over the past uh seven games. So,
210:52you just need multiple touchdowns and we can't even count on those right now. So, I think he's fine. Like, if you haven't
210:57seen long, you're probably still playing as like a RB2 type guy. Uh because the matchup's good. The team's going to score points. We're going to create
211:04scoring opportunities. It's just Do do you watch Devonte Adams run that slant or not? But >> Yep.
211:10>> Yeah.
211:10>> Yeah. Yeah. I have him. Where do I have him in the ranks?
211:16Uh Kairen. Yeah, I've got him as a high-end RB2.
211:18>> Yeah.
211:20>> So, just above Judkins.
211:24>> That's where >> But I don't think I'm playing him in DFS.
211:26>> I'm not playing him in DFS, though.
211:27>> No, >> I would play Judkins in DFS over.
211:30>> I think I would too. in part because I can tell myself that the low floor actually is a better fit for tournaments
211:36even though I'm probably just getting crushed by the low floor of of a snowflake.
211:41>> Yeah, I can't wait for 26 carries for 72 yards without a touchdown.
211:46>> Oh no, dude. Oh, I felt that. I can see it. I can see it in my lineup.
211:53>> Should we play that with Jordan Love or >> Yeah. Do we just put Do we just put them all in one? We just get them all in one.
212:00That might be it.
212:02>> Maybe that's the move. All right, man.
212:05>> Here. What do you got going on? Tell people sharp.
212:07>> Oh, yeah. Sharpable analysis. Uh, I should have said some at the beginning, too. But, uh, we are doing another because it's coming up for fantasy
212:13playoffs. If you want the worksheet for the fantasy playoffs, you can sign up for this week for a dollar if you use
212:17promo code week 14. Uh, if you want to do that. So, we had a couple people come in. Uh, we had, uh, last week for the
212:23playoffs. I had fun in the Sunday chat, but it's always fun when people tell me it's like, I came on for the playoffs.
212:28I'm like, all right, cool, man. means you means you got to the playoffs without me. So like it's weird that you
212:31came in now, but hope I don't I hope I don't wreck it for you.
212:37>> Well, you got those high leverage decisions, man. You need to you need all the info you can get.
212:41>> Yeah.
212:41>> Um check out Legendary Upside. We just uh we just have the uh playoff baseball sidekick up and running covering both
212:48DraftKings and Underdog uh for your playoff baseball contest. I'm going to be actually streaming uh well, you'll this will come out. I'm recording it
