A.J. Brown

NegativeRole16:56

A.J. Brown was selected as a wide receiver in the 555 league draft, representing a wide receiver start in the second round (5.5 pick). The source drafted him as a core wide receiver target.

Insight page
PositiveRole21:01

Selected in tournament draft as part of a balanced offensive stack; drafted in the 555 tournament alongside CD Lamb and Bree Hall in a multi-position Cowboys strategy. Ranked as a top-four draft pick in an eliminator format alongside Bruce Hall, Javonte Williams, and CeeDee Lamb; the source took Lamb, Brown, Bree, and Javonte in that order, positioning Brown as a preferred wide receiver in the early rounds. Also drafted as part of dual stacks: Cowboys stack with CeeDee Lamb and Patriots stack with Trevian Henderson, with both quarterbacks (Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes) going in the early seventh round.

Insight page

Bo Nix

PositiveValue61:02

Quarterback drafted significantly later than Dak Prescott (early seventh round) in a 555 contest, providing potential quarterback value advantage. Has week 17 bringback element with the Patriots, indicating a game-stacking strategy for playoff weeks; noted as 'backstack stackable to a degree,' suggesting flexibility in lineup construction.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeRole38:15

Drafted in 555 contest as part of the stack; no specific fantasy argument or projection provided beyond his selection in the roster construction.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeValue26:03

Selected in the fifth round of an eliminator draft; the source committed to taking him when he circled back.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection8:08

The source finds it unlikely that Quentin Johnston is straight-up better than CeeDee Lamb; while Johnston could outscore Lamb in a bad year for Lamb when the Cowboys offense is humming, the source rates this outcome as unlikely, suggesting Lamb remains the safer and higher-ceiling option.

Insight page

Darius Slayton

NegativeProjection28:00

May not hit in weeks when the Giants are likely to be healthiest and scoring the most points, implying limited upside in high-value weeks due to team health and receiver depth; may not crack lineups even with solid scoring (e.g., 13 points) during early weeks when the Giants are less likely to be healthy and scoring heavily.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveValue22:33

Identified as the top recommendation for the eliminator tournament draft; the source committed to taking him if he remained available, indicating strong conviction in his value for immediate scoring in a head-to-head format. Also drafted in a 555 contest at past ADP, where the source secured him at a discount relative to his previous market price, describing the pick as 'glorious.'

Insight page

Jakobi Meyers

NegativeValue24:54

Selected in the fourth round of an eliminator draft after being added to the queue; the source removed Brooks from consideration and brought Myers in as a replacement option.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveUsage55:04

Jalen Hurts was drafted on both teams in the current simulation draft and is described as the star of the stream, indicating he was a priority target for both drafters and reflecting his high demand in the draft.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveRole21:01

Selected in tournament draft as the running back complement to the Cowboys wide receiver stack (CD Lamb and AJ Brown); part of a double-Cowboys running back and wide receiver strategy in the 555 tournament. Ranked as a top-four draft pick in an eliminator format alongside Bruce Hall, CeeDee Lamb, and AJ Brown; the source took Lamb, Brown, Bree, and Javonte in that order, positioning Williams as a preferred running back in the early rounds.

Insight page
NegativeValue21:58

Ranked as a top-four draft pick in an eliminator format alongside Bruce Hall, CeeDee Lamb, and AJ Brown. The source took Lamb, Brown, Hall, and Javonte in that order, positioning Williams as a preferred running back in the early rounds.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveProjection16:42

Positioned as QB1 in the sixth round for draft strategy in the 555 tournament, indicating early-round quarterback selection with confidence in his tier placement. The source drafted him as his starting quarterback in the sixth round, demonstrating confidence in Daniels as a QB1 option at that draft capital.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

NegativeRole31:55

Reed is mentioned alongside Mai Lemon in the context of WR3 draft options; no specific take is provided beyond the pairing.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveValue13:58

The source selected Jaylen Waddle as his number one wide receiver in the fourth round, noting he's moving up in ADP and wouldn't necessarily expect to get him there, but is happy to land him at that price point. Waddle is being drafted as a WR1 in the fourth round, which the source views as good value.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveValue22:21

Selected as the lead running back in an eliminator team roster that prioritizes immediate scoring; part of a constructed team built for head-to-head competition requiring top-half week-one finish. Also identified as one of three early running back picks in the eliminator draft, indicating strong conviction in his early-season scoring potential.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeValue17:23

Consensus view is that Josh Allen is overpriced in DFS; while he has single-week spike potential, the source argues his spike ceiling is not unique relative to other quarterbacks at his price point. The source plans to largely avoid Josh Allen in DFS this year unless pricing dynamics shift (e.g., injury-related price drop), reasoning that the spike-week upside doesn't justify the premium cost when other quarterbacks can deliver similar ceiling performances at lower prices. In eliminator format, Allen's appeal is contingent on the price gap between him and other quarterbacks like Drake Maye, Jaden Daniels, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson remaining wide; if other quarterback prices moved up, Allen would become a more efficient pick, but the current price gap makes him a tricky selection.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveBreakout24:06

Second-round running back who has increasingly caught the source's attention due to potential for increased pass-catching volume in an offense that could pass more than any previous team; he has demonstrated the ability to catch the ball better than expected as a prospect. The source notes this is somewhat speculative but represents a significant shift in their evaluation.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

PositiveValue44:00

Wide receiver who emerges as a valuable pick due to draft positioning dynamics; he typically falls after Romeo Doubs and Casey Conklin in the receiver tier, making him a strong option relative to alternatives. In this particular draft, he fell to pick 120, which would have made him a top sidekick pick had the drafter taken D'Andre Ferguson earlier. The source notes that while Shakir wouldn't have been super high on their list initially, simulations reveal he's a strong pick in that receiver tier.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeProjection45:06

Quarterback positioned as a cheaper option compared to historical precedent, but the source expresses significant concern about his fantasy viability due to the Dolphins' poor offensive outlook. The Dolphins are projected for below 5 wins (4.5 win total), and Willis will likely be replaced next year, making him more comparable to Sam Howell's situation than a true value play. Unlike Howell, who was a 17th-18th round pick, Willis is priced considerably higher, which the source views as a negative given the team's dysfunction.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeValue49:34

Mike Evans was an early second-round pick in the source's BBM draft and dropped 50 points in the final, but wasn't well-represented in the final because his expensive ADP didn't pay off relative to his production. The source uses Evans as an example of an expensive weapon that is so costly it becomes a poor pick despite scoring well; his high cost made him unavailable in the winning build, which instead prioritized cheaper value plays like Chris Godwin.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveValue31:16

Undervalued in general drafting and specifically in Eliminator format; slated to start out of the slot, and the source believes people are being overly negative about his prospects. The source also secured him as part of a sidekick combo with Travis Hunter in Eliminator 2, and acquired him at pick 151 in eliminator draft, leveraging cheap rookie pricing despite general rule that rookies are riskier in formats requiring consistent weekly scoring.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveValue10:44

Patrick Mahomes was a smash in 2023 and scored well last year, matching Drake May's points per game and only 1.2 points below Josh Allen per game in Underdog scoring. At eighth-round ADP, he can easily beat that price. The source frames Mahomes as a late-season upside bet—he doesn't need to match last year's full-season performance, just trend closer to it by year's end. While rushing upside may be slightly down post-ACL, the price is forgiving enough that Mahomes can outperform his ADP without matching 2023 production.

Insight page

Ricky Pearsall

NegativeProjection41:23

Wide receiver whose upside potential is already baked into projections; the source believes the team's valuation is fair and notes he's occasionally seen in simulations but not at the top of rankings. The source assesses he's probably slightly overpriced rather than undervalued.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue50:00

Saquon Barkley was drafted in the source's winning BBM team during his Giants bounceback season, acquired after Mike Evans was off the board. He was generally a mid-second-round pick that year but was expensive and didn't pay off his ADP, making him unavailable in the final. Barkley's value relative to his cost made him a better target than expensive receivers; the source prioritized him as part of a value-focused build.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeDepth Chart34:01

Despite contract/signing controversy, Diggs is not falling much in ADP rankings; the source notes it doesn't seem like he won't sign, suggesting the market is holding his value steady pending resolution of his status. The source would adjust if there was buzz that teams are out on him.

Insight page

Tank Dell

PositiveProjection55:51

Tank Dell is the source's longest-shot prop bet at +8000 odds for comeback player of the year. The source expresses confidence in the bet, saying 'I could see it,' indicating belief in Dell's potential to return from injury and have a strong season.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

PositiveValue40:11

Tight end acquired at pick 210 in an eliminator draft; part of a team construction that pairs an elite tight end with multiple cheap rookie wide receivers (Omar Cooper at 151, Deshawn Stribbling at 186, Jeremy Bernard at 199) to balance scoring across positions. Selected as the final pick in the contest, described as 'a nice pick for the point I wanted to make,' suggesting it was a strategic late-round selection to illustrate a draft principle.

Insight page

Tom Brady

NegativeValue49:34

Brady was drafted on the source's winning BBM team as a naked stack option (without pairing him with expensive receivers like Mike Evans). Brady had an awesome final game and proved to be a better value play than stacking with expensive receivers; the source notes that at a cheap price, a quarterback can be a strong pick even without receiver stacks, especially when his weapons are overpriced relative to their production. Brady was stacked with Chris Godwin, who was significantly cheaper than Mike Evans and therefore a better pick despite scoring fewer total points.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveRole32:41

Part of a viable sidekick combo stack with Omar Cooper in Eliminator format; the source successfully executed this pairing in Eliminator 2, securing both players together as a paired stack strategy.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeRole22:21

Selected in eliminator tournament draft as part of a balanced roster construction focused on immediate scoring; part of a team built for head-to-head competition requiring top-half week-one finish. Selected as the tight end in an eliminator team roster that prioritizes immediate scoring; part of a constructed team alongside Jonathan Taylor, Devonte Adams, Jaylen Waddle, Sean Judkins, Jaden Daniels, Jaylen Hertz, and Mai Lemon.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeRole37:12

Considered for draft stack in 555 contest; the source was attempting to secure him to pair with his quarterback stack but was unable to do so (sniped by another drafter).

0:01Welcome to the Legendary Upside podcast and YouTube channel. My name is Pat Karan. You can follow my content at legendaryupsside.com.
0:08Today is the top guy Tuesday mailbag.
0:11I'll be diving into questions from the leg up Discord and from the chat and I'll be drafting a team by clicking the
0:19top recommendation on the sidekick every single time. Uh oh, 555 is nine of 12. Okay, thank you Dan. We'll take a
0:29look at that. I wasn't actually sure what I was going to jump into. So, why don't we start there?
0:38Uh, let me see. Got to do the location checks. We'll get going. I'll switch over. Uh, as I get that sorted, I'll
0:47answer Mr. Moose's question. Or not really even a question, but uh, thank you Patrick Pat/legup crew. Thank you so much for launching
0:56the kickstand for base leg level legup subs. It's like the Goldilocks level draft assistance for a BBM Maxi like me who does no other volume. Uh do I need
1:05to load leg up rankings updates into its custom rankings feature or is it default to always have the latest leg up ranks
1:10in there? Custom load if you just want to use other ranks. So uh I'm going to send out the official email tomorrow
1:16morning. But if you go to legendaryupside.com right at the top there's a section called kickstand. You just click that read about it. We just launched a uh
1:25essentially a sidekick light that uh is now part of the base legup subscription tier. So uh there are still two tiers.
1:35Once we launched the sidekick, there were two tiers to the site. The legup tier and the sidekick tier. There's still two tiers. The legup tier just got
1:42better. We now have a a tool called the kickstand that's included in that sub.
1:47Uh so if you're an existing sub, you now have that. Uh you get that by installing the Sidekick uh extension and then we'll
1:55just detect your membership level. It does not have dynamic rankings. That's still a Sidekick exclusive feature at LegUp, but does have the ability to
2:04upload custom ranks and then has the legup rankings built into it. So to answer the second part of that that question and comment, uh you do not need
2:13to upload legup rankings with the kickstands because those are already there. So you have ADP leg up and then if you once you upload a
2:23custom set you have custom rankings and you can toggle between those. So it's displaying uh you know kind of the ability to
2:30toggle between multiple sets of rankings and then the on the clock notification sound and then the player tags like have you draft for this player's quarterback,
2:39how many teammates do you have with this player, how many bringbacks, by-weeks, all that stuff. Uh and exposure as well.
2:45So, a lot of the the kind of the bells and whistles of the Sidekick, uh, all the kickstand features are also
2:51included in the Sidekick, but the dynamic rankings is really driving the value there for the Sidekick, shady sim driven math, etc. And so, we launched
3:00the kickstand to just have uh, you know, some of those features that are fun and helpful uh, at the leg up uh, base tier
3:10subscription. So, that is live if you want to check that out.
3:14Uh, we have that up and running. And like I said, you just have to install the Sidekick extension. If you're legup
3:22sub, uh, which is only 15 bucks a month, by the way, then you can get access to the kickstand.
3:28Uh, all right, Pat, can you go over how much exposure to a team is too much, i.e. how many Chargers/bears, etc.
3:36before it's negative EV?
3:39Yeah, that's interesting. So Pete broke down uh a team back in 2022, like the the year before I won, Baseball
3:49Mania. He had broken down a team that was like oops all Packers kind of and had finished, I think, seventh. And it
3:56got me thinking that maybe, you know, the the answer is higher than we would have thought. Um, but it is it's one of those things where
4:07using the sidekick I can say sometimes I'll see a lot of exposure and sometimes uh to one team I mean and
4:14sometimes you don't get um you know me much stacking at all. So it is going to be pretty price dependent. If there was
4:22a team where we thought all of these guys are like really undervalued then you are obviously increasing correlation by betting on that one team
4:32um which can be you know upsidelifting in some context and not as upside lifting in in others.
4:40It's like if your entire receiver core was from one team, you would have less upside, I would say, than a team with
4:47multiple teams receivers, right? Because you can there's only so many points one NFL team can score. So, uh, it's hard to
4:54say without getting into like the specific prices of those players. Uh, but I will say I think you know the Chargers and Bears this year, the Bears
5:05are pretty expensive. And one of the reasons that I'm comfortable not having a ton of Bears exposure overall is that I do think it's possible for a team to
5:13be systematically overpriced where all the players, they don't suck, they don't do nothing, but none of them crush their
5:22ADP. Um, and you know, we've seen like great players be bad fantasy picks. Uh, Bejian Robinson was a bad fantasy pick
5:31as a rookie. Uh, he's he's awesome. He's the number two overall pick this year.
5:38Uh but you know, he was overpriced.
5:40Ashen Genty was overpriced as a rookie as well. And uh you know, that hasn't affected really any confidence in him this year. People still want to
5:51draft him. So, uh I think that you know, I don't know if I exactly answered your question. It's hard to exactly answer your question. Something
6:00like the Sidekick honestly does a a very good job of of helping create good teams in ways that incorporates things like, you know, team
6:09level bets. Need training camp to start badly. Just got bored and accidentally fell into 40% Jefferson as in Justin Jefferson.
6:18I don't think you can fall into 40% Justin Jefferson. Is there another Jefferson I'm not thinking of here? Van Jefferson. I don't think you can
6:25accidentally fall into 40% Van Jefferson. What what Jefferson are we talking about? When should be drafting for the eliminator? I'm going to
6:33probably draft most of my eliminator late in the summer just when we have the most information. It is kind of, you
6:38know, more of a cash game, so I kind of think of it like I probably want as much information as I can get. Um,
6:46but you know, I I am drafting some in the meantime. In fact, why don't we jump in one cuz I think
6:55this 555 is going to fill, but it hasn't filled yet.
6:59And uh we'll go ahead and get an eliminator started. Nice. It filled right away.
7:06That was a nice little pivot. Uh so the eliminator here is often running in what 50 seconds. And
7:16then the 555 is 10 of 12. So, I'll do my best to uh to toggle back and forth at the 555 fills, but hopefully this
7:25eliminator gets going, the 555 gets going pretty late into the eliminator, and we can kind of do two drafts before uh maybe with a little overlap before
7:36ADP chasing. 555 is 10 of 12 in there.
7:41Uh I don't see Shady.
7:45Let's keep it that way, maybe.
7:47And I don't see Sack. I looks pretty good. Um, Rhode Island. Shout out to Rhode Island.
7:56I'm a Rhode Island fan. Another small state. You know, small state bros got to stick together. I'm a I'm a Delaware
8:02native, so shout out Rhode Island. Um, how likely is it that CD Lamb is better than CD? I think pretty unlikely. I
8:10could see him outscoring CD Lamb, but I think uh it's kind of like a bad year for CD Lamb when that happens a lot of
8:17the time with the offense like absolutely humming. It is hard for me to believe that Pickkins is just straight up better than CD Lamb. I wouldn't put
8:26it at zero, but uh unlikely. Mind sharing details on the kickstand again?
8:32So legendaryupsside.com/kickstand or just go to legendaryupsside and right at the top right next to sidekick is the kickstand link that show that just kind
8:41of gives you the basic details but it's just included in the legup sub and it has the features of the sidekick like
8:48the notification sound uh which you'll hear here in just a second and uh so there you go. There's a notification sound which is quite
8:59helpful if you're multitabling.
9:01uh or if you're doing other things with your life and you have got the you know the computer uh isn't isn't your primary
9:09focus or you know you're doing something in another tab pretty nice for that. Uh and then it's got these tags that you're
9:17seeing here like quarterback teammate week 17 bringbacks by overlap and then exposure. So, actually to load in my exposure, I'm going to go click this uh
9:29setting here at the bottom. Um, actually, I don't even need to do that.
9:34I just need to go to the drafts for completed drafts, which I'm doing in another tab you can't see.
9:43Uh, and I'm just going to the eliminator slate, which I'll share here. So, here's my eliminator slate. I go here, go to
9:53exposure, and you can see exposure data saved. So, I'm good there.
9:59Back to the draft, and my exposure is loaded in for the eliminator slate. So, super super simple. Um,
10:09you can check, you know, what exposures and stuff you have in there by clicking this gear and that'll open up a new tab,
10:16but you actually don't even need to to click that to load in the exposures. You just with the Sidekick extension installed, just go to the page where you
10:24get your exposure on either DraftKings Underdog, whichever one you're looking to do and you get you get it loaded in like a
10:32second. So, it looks like this will be Devon Achan here. Yep.
10:39So, we're Jonathan Taylor, Devon A Chan.
10:44All right. Why do you like Mahomes when he's been complete ass the last four years and now he's coming off an ACL and
10:49his passing game weapons are mid? I guess uh we have definitions of complete ass that are a little different would be
10:58the simplest way to put that. Uh Patrick Mahomes was kind of a smash in 2023
11:06and scored well last year. So, uh, I don't think you're using fair
11:15definitions here, uh, as far as what, you know, we're likely to get. I mean, Patrick Mahomes just pulled up, he scored the same, uh, number of points
11:24per game as Drake May last year, and he was, uh, you know, he was a 1.2 points below Josh Allen per game in, uh, in
11:34underdog scoring last year. So that sounds pretty awesome to me. You know, if we can get back to that, you pay a third, I pay an eighth, I pay a
11:45ninth. I think I win I win those 2v2s pretty pretty easy. Um I know, you know, you can push back obviously on Mahomes
11:54scoring like he did last year with uh his his rushing potentially being a little bit down off of an ACL.
12:02And I think that would that would be fair push back. But um you know with the price that he uh requires, I don't even
12:11think you need him to even score quite as well as he did last year, especially not like for the whole year.
12:18You're kind of betting with Mahomes that he gets back closer to last year by the end of the season. Uh so that that would
12:25be like the Mahomes bet is sort of a a bet that's tilted to the upside late in the year. And uh
12:33people are overly negative on the Mahomes experience cuz I think with Mahomes it's Mahomes like we got we got kind of spoiled as far as like what he
12:40was going to deliver and that's kind of his fault because he was so awesome but now that he's not like playing like at
12:49at god level people act like it's either God or ass and and I don't think that's fair. uh he can still easily beat in
12:59eighth round ADP. [snorts] All right, we are doing two drafts at once here. First time I've done this on Top Guy Tuesday, so I'm going to I'm
13:08going to share both as we go. And uh we'll see we'll see how I I do this. So, let me just get
13:18this over a little. Gonna make my screen a little small a little smaller.
13:23>> [snorts] >> Um, all right.
13:28Will the number of tight ends with a positive advance rate go up or down this year in your opinion?
13:34Hm. I would say [clears throat] probably up because I think there's a good amount of uh tight ends that are good picks
13:40late. And uh so there'll probably be a lot of tight ends who have like a pretty good advance rate. nothing, not like a
13:48smash necessarily, but uh that will have good advance rates later on. Jaylen Wadd is my number one wide receiver. Feels pretty good in the
13:58fourth here. He's move moving up and uh you know, I wouldn't necessarily expect to be able to get him there, but yeah,
14:06getting him in the fourth as my wide receiver one with Taylor Han and McBride. I mean, team's looking pretty solid. All right, we're going to go over
14:14to the 555 where I'm out of the 10 hole
14:22and uh we'll see how that goes.
14:31Uh Chris asked me about the Broncos and uh discussion between Gretch and Shawn.
14:37Haven't heard that yet. Uh curious to listen to it though.
14:43Henderson and Burden. Who'd you rather have in full PPR Dynasty?
14:49Man, probably Henderson.
14:54I think Henderson's going to be uh I think Henderson's a little safer in a way where you're getting you're just tied to that offense and Raandre is
15:04going to be gone at some point. So, you're going to get kind of that bump.
15:07Burden is like the higher upside swing though because I think if he's emerges as the clear number one in that offense, then he could just be like one
15:17of these wide receivers that were, you know, we're drafted in the second round next year and he's really young and he's also in a great situation,
15:26but it's a little bit more do or die with Burden right now.
15:31All right, I am about to be on the clock in both of these simultaneously.
15:35Lamb in the queue. Then we're going to go over here, share this tab so you can see what's going on. Quinn Sean Judkins
15:40in the queue. And I'll go ahead and put that pick in. Then we're coming back to the 555.
15:48And uh we'll take CD Lamb.
15:50And you can see I'll be on the clock in the 555 again first.
15:56Uh can you guys hear me? I think just see if you can hear me because I'm getting some notification about the
16:07audio, but I think it might just be for my screen share.
16:17It's coming clear. Beautiful. All right.
16:21So, yeah. So, I'm going to keep the notification sound on, but it sounds like maybe it's not getting to its way
16:26to Streamyard. I don't know. Uh, but whatever.
16:30I'm keeping it on for myself.
16:33I'm keeping on because I need it. Uh I'm multitabling.
16:38All right, so it looks like AJ Brown going to be top of the sidekick here.
16:42Wide receiver, wide receiver start in the 555. Pretty fun. And let's get back over to the eliminator.
16:53And it looks like we're looking at Jaden Daniels QB1 in the sixth
17:02into that. It's pretty fun and I think we'll be back up in the eliminator first. So I'll share that.
17:12Okay, jumping back up at the top.
17:23How much are you mixing in Josh Allen?
17:25Everyone seems to agree that he's overpriced, but his single week spike potential makes it scary to have zero.
17:30I'm not mixing him in a ton. I think he's at such a higher price relative to the other quarterbacks that even that
17:38potential to turn in a huge spike week is kind of mitigated by the price where like yeah, you can have a massive spike week, but
17:48so can other quarterbacks where maybe they don't even have as big a spike week, but you narrow the gap. The other
17:53thing is that like you're going to need a massive spike week from multiple people to win basketball mania. Right?
18:02Like you can't just not have spike weeks. You got to have have to have probably a couple different people go nuts. And it would be really helpful if
18:11one of those was your third round pick.
18:13And so like his ability to do that, Josh Allen, it's not really unique relative to the players he's going around. It's
18:20almost, you know, it's it's like kind of table stakes that you're going to get a big performance from, you know, at least
18:30a few of your early round picks. and getting that at quarterback when the pricing dynamics are what they are is is
18:37just not actually as helpful as if you can find that spike we get another position. So, I'm just a little bit less
18:45uh worried about it where I do think he can spike, but I just don't think that having that spike
18:54is even enough for my opponents. So, uh, I'm I'm obviously a little bit nervous about it, but it's like one of
19:02those things I'm not nervous enough to do something I just don't think is is going to be good for my portfolio.
19:10Uh, and this is one slate, right? Like that's the way I'm thinking about this stuff is like this is, you know, there's
19:16there's every week in DFS like there's a ton of players I don't play and so this is going to be a year where I kind of
19:22don't play Josh Allen which could be pretty annoying for me but is something I'm okay living with. Uh if if these
19:32dynamics don't change. It's also like I recognize Josh Allen's awesome and could score a ton of fantasy points and it could really suck for me if he scores
19:38fantasy points in certain weeks when I don't have them. Uh, and so if the dynamics shift, I I'll probably attack that, you know, and get my Josh Allen
19:49exposure. Like maybe he, you know, has some weird foot thing that keeps him out of practice for a couple weeks and isn't
19:55really a big deal, but his price drops.
19:57I'll probably be into that, right? I I'm not, this isn't like a stubbornness thing. Uh, so yeah, can't get an eliminator to fill
20:06that fast. Two of the, you know, tournaments here that aren't super easy to just jump into and have them fill, I
20:12got going simultaneously. So that that feels pretty good. Got the 555 going in and eliminator.
20:19Uh, was I autoing in a five or in a fast puppy? I wasn't autoing, but I was doing like 10 at a time. So there were some uh
20:27there [snorts] were some auto clicks in there. Uh can you talk about why uh we are lower on Christian Watson compared to other
20:39analysts who have him as a breakout? Uh I don't think like he's one of those players where I don't feel that I am
20:46bearish.
20:47But I also uh oh I'm actually on the clock in the eliminator. That one's going fast. So we're sharing this. We're throwing a Mai
20:55Lemon. We're We're gonna actually we're just gonna take Mai Lemon. We're gonna go back to the five of five where I'm
21:01now on the clock. And we got to be quick because Bree Hall's here, which is pretty damn fun. So, we're drafting Bree
21:08Hall.
21:10That doesn't that always happen. Like, every time you're in two drafts, the clocks sync up. I think it's magnets. I think Shady was explaining. I think it
21:19has something to do with magnets or the uh the poles of the Earth. I think I don't know. I'm not, you know, I don't
21:25have the science down, but I I think it's that I think it's something to do like with the way the birds can tell
21:29their directions. I think it's the same stuff. Um, you know, we we'll have Shady explain it on the next uh Top Guy
21:36Tuesday. Uh, but this start here, CD Lamb, AJ Brown, Bree Hall looking like Javante Williams or Garrett Wilson as the next pick. Whichever one makes it
21:46back in the 555 going to be either balanced start or three wide receiver and one running back. Derrick Wilson goes. Pretty sure
21:55we're gonna be looking at Javvante Williams with the double Cowboys start.
21:58We are. So there we go. Bruce Hall, Jvonte Williams, CD Lamb, AJ Brown. Uh, not in that order, but the the two
22:06running backs, then the two wide receivers as I was looking at it there, but Lamb, Brown, Bree, Javvante is the order I took the guys. And we'll go here
22:15sharing this tab in the eliminator.
22:21I'll be up in a few picks. This team is Jonathan Taylor, Devonte Chan, Trey McBride, Jaylen Wadd, Quinn Sean Judkins, Jaden Daniels, Jaylen Herz, and
22:29Mai Lemon. Eliminator obviously is going to be more focused on scoring points right away because uh you're you're headtohead like the whole way. Got to
22:40outscore your opponent. Uh you got to finish top half week one, then outscore your opponent the rest of the way. So,
22:48you know, little bit of a a different game. Just a straight up different game.
22:53So, it looks like Harold Fannon is going to be the top recommendation here. If he makes it, he does make it. Uh, we'll go
23:01ahead take Harold Fannon.
23:05This eliminator is moving quicker because of the 20 second clock. So, that's another kind of fun element here.
23:12I've done more DK drafts this year than either past years. appears the promos have been pretty good so far. Yeah, I DK
23:18uh doing getting getting that like an overnight stop on the on the slow drafts I think would help me get more volume
23:24down, but they've I I've enjoyed how much DK's put into baseball this year.
23:31Uh does Chris Bell news change anything for you in Miami? One of their pass catchers not seemed achan named Anchan seems like likely to pay off their
23:41price.
23:42I'm definitely going to be paying attention. I've also seen some Caleb Douglas hype. I' I'm definitely paying attention to what's going on there
23:48because we our baseline kind of pre-training camp view is that it's very difficult to really have a good sense of of how the receiver room's going to
23:56shake out. That is one that we're going to be moving on quickly for sure. Uh what's your top guys that come to mind
24:04when you're thinking about legendary running backs this year?
24:06>> [snorts] >> Uh, Walker has kind of more and more come to mind as far as the second round guys because of the potential for him to
24:15catch more passes in an offense that could pass the ball way more than any offense he's been in previously. And he's shown the ability to catch the ball
24:23uh more than he looked like he would be able to as a prospect. So, he definitely jumps out and uh it's like a little bit speculative,
24:32but he's I'm I'm getting kind of more and more interested in Kenneth Walker. Uh I still prefer Saquon Barkley to him, but but he's one
24:42he's probably the guy I've kind of changed my tune the most on.
24:46Um because initially I was thinking I was a little little hype driven. All right, let me get Brooks out of here because he's not at the top
24:54anymore. Get Jacobe Myers and Romeo Dobs in the queue.
25:00And looks like it'll be Jacobe Myers.
25:08And back to the 555.
25:17Does the kickstand function similarly to the solver? No. It also doesn't function similar to the Sidekick, which is the tool you're looking at right here, in
25:26the sense that the Sidekick has uh dynamic rankings that are driven by Shad's uh Shades uh SIMs.
25:35Uh so yeah, it shows what the kickstand will do is show these features. Uh I'm not going to speak on on the solver.
25:44I'm not sure if you actually meant that as as the solver, but uh what I'll say is it show the kickstand's going to show
25:50you exposure, teammates, quarterback, uh tags on week 17, by-week overlap, uh and the ability to load in your own rankings. So,
26:01uh hopefully that answers your question.
26:03All right, Bucky Irving makes it back to me in the fifth.
26:07I'll go ahead and take him.
26:12How are you balancing turning exposures versus all-around exposure? Found myself taking higher overall exposures in order to get different combos at a tournament
26:20level. Uh I'm mostly taking like in the smaller tournaments, I'm mostly doing slow drafts and so I'm pretty top guy there. What I will do is like if I have
26:31guys I've taken several times on the 555, I might mix that up because I'm not going to have like a nice super clean
26:39portfolio on the 555s in terms of the volume that I'll I'll get down. So outside of something like this where I've committed to taking the top
26:47recommendation and sidekick every time, um I might break ties there. Like for example, had this guy not taken Carnell Tate and had I not been committed to
26:58taking Tate if he was the top of Sidekick, I would take Henderson in the sixth. Um, is someone I don't have yet
27:04in the 555. I'm slightly underweight on overall and it's at a good price. But fortunately, he's top of this top of the
27:10kick and I'm taking him.
27:14Uh, thoughts on the Giants. If you believe that Neighbors is not going to play, then the other receivers are cheap. If you believe Neighbors will
27:23play, then Neighbors is cheap. Malachi Fields intriguing Naggie that bad. The issue I think you have with the Giants is that we don't have a lot of clarity
27:30on who's going to fill in for neighbors with neighbors out uh early. And then we don't also
27:41um excuse [clears throat] me we don't I mean I don't think neighbors is cheap. I think neighbors is actually going to
27:48fall but like then okay so Neighbors is going to miss some times early in some weeks where those weeks aren't all that valuable you know compared to
27:58the late weeks. And it's the weeks when your team's likely to be healthiest.
28:01You're you're likely to be scoring like a lot of points. You've got wide receivers that are probably doing just fine. like Darius Slayton may not hit
28:08your lineup even if he scores 13 points, you know, like you can be right and it might not matter. Now you get to the end
28:14of the season, I do expect Neighbors to be back. So, okay, is Neighbors, you know, are those receivers that you you
28:21took to replace Neighbors? Are they still replacing Neighbors or are they more phased out?
28:28and are they also potentially phased out because Malachi Fields starts to come on who I don't think will probably contribute early but he could maybe
28:34contribute late. So I'm mixing in some of the Giants wide receivers. I don't think any of them is a smash. It's not
28:40like we have this clear guy who will step up in the inter room. It's not an offense that I'm super excited to get
28:46exposure to generally.
28:49And so yeah, it it just has I think it could be a case where neighbors being out just sucks. like it just sucks we
28:57don't have Neighbors to start the year and the and the Giants feel it and there wasn't like a a smash available later
29:03because Neighbors is out because Neighbors is an elevator. He's a straight up elite talent when healthy and uh you pull him out of the offense,
29:12it just hurts the offense. I don't think it's necessarily like a great thing for someone else.
29:23All right, let's see. Let's see.
29:29Trying to reason with someone who says Mahomes was was asked is a waste of breath. I don't I mean I get questions
29:35on the Mahomes stuff. You do get people can be hyperbolic. I don't mind talking Mahomes. Uh it's like a a reverse Davis
29:42when you're hyperbolic in the negative way about Mahomes.
29:45Um thoughts on stacking back fields. I think stuff where you take like I have done things where you know you have like
29:55Bjan Robinson and then you don't have an RB2 for a while maybe you've got a like like this team if this team uh out of
30:02the two-hole with Bjon were to go like double Vikings as their running back three like a combo running back three in like around nine
30:11and 10 or something. Um or I guess to make sure they did it they would need to do eight nine. So maybe that's not so
30:18great but you get what I'm saying. like you can do uh the the double tap and I think I think that kind of double tap
30:27works okay in certain situations or works well I should say in certain situations I think um there's other things you can do where you take like
30:37you could go spears singleton and just get like the two cheaper guys in in that backfield you're just kind of betting against pard twice and both guys
30:45are cheap enough where I think that's probably viable who uh I have never gone Mitchell Vidal, but I could see I could I could maybe see
30:55it. Um I think you want something more like Spears Singleton, though, where it's like ambiguous. You could also do like Bill Katron. Uh Bill's like a
31:03little bit more expensive that and I think you're direct you're like directly betting against Bill in a lot of ways.
31:10Um I think it's better if you're taking two stabs if one of them can catch passes. All right, Omar Cooper, welcome
31:16to the squad. Fun that Cooper is actually showing up here in eliminator.
31:21He is slated to slot to start out of the slot. So, I think people are undervaluing him generally. And I think
31:29um Oh, I didn't share this tab. Omar Cooper was top of the queue here and uh rated
31:37ADP. But let's get back over to the 555 where I'm on deck. Mai Lemon and Jaden Reed. But yeah, I think Omar Cooper is
31:47under undervalued just straight up, but even for stuff like Eliminator, I think people are being overly overly negative.
31:55All right, Mai Lemon comes all the way back to me. I mean, I guess he's this is ahead of ADP. It feels like a huge fall
32:03cuz uh I think he's he's just a jam in the seventh. Uh if I wasn't doing Top Guy Tuesday, maybe maybe I push him. I
32:12wouldn't. I would take him, [laughter] but you could certainly argue I I should maybe. Um, but uh I don't know. There's
32:20just some of sometimes with a guy like that, I'm just like, let me just get what I already think is a value. So, I
32:26probably just follow the sidekick and and take him that. Uh, plus I need my wide receiver three there. So, it's a
32:32pretty important pick for the team.
32:35Seems a little silly to try to push it too much, you know.
32:41All right, Travis Hunter. The uh the sidekick combo of Omar Cooper and Travis Hunter. It exists in Eliminator 2. We
32:48get both guys. Uh and we'll head back over to the 555 where I'm on the clock.
32:57Patrick Mahomes is here.
33:00I can't believe I'm about to draft this guy, even though, as we all know, he's complete ass.
33:07Patrick Mahomes, welcome to the squad.
33:11All right.
33:15Have you noticed the Sidekick is asking you to visit the website every time to load players? I think uh what I'd say if
33:21you're having any issues because we did push uh some Sidekick updates recently.
33:24DraftKings changed up some stuff. Had to push some updates uh in fairly quick succession over the last week or so. If
33:32you're having any issues with kind of slowness uh login stuff, make sure you have the latest uh extension. Typically, it should like pull over time uh like
33:42update itself. But if again, if you're if you're like, "What's going on?
33:46Sidekick feels a little different today," just uh uninstall and reinstall the extension. That should fix issues.
33:52Uh if that doesn't work, you can always shoot me an email, legendary upsidegmail.com.
33:57Uh we'll get you taken care of. There's if you're in the Discord as well, there's a sidekick support channel.
34:01That's actually the faster way to go.
34:04Um, but yeah, if if you haven't jumped in the Discord, then you can always shoot me an email, too. Again, that's
34:09legendary upsidegmail.com.
34:13Why isn't Diggs falling much in rankings for ADP despite the controversy? Yeah, I mean, it doesn't seem like he's not
34:21going to sign still. Uh, but if there was like buzz that teams are kind of out, uh, I would I would, you know, we would
34:32certainly move on that.
34:34Uh, but yeah.
34:39All right.
34:41Do you have any long shot season futures that you think are a good bet? I haven't really looked at the seasonl long
34:48futures and thought, you know, from a perspective of actually betting them.
34:53Uh, but yeah, I could take a look real quick. Um yeah, I h I haven't really It's more like I'm using them as
35:04research of like, you know, how many games are these teams expected to win?
35:08Okay, about 50% of the time they're they're winning, you know, the in the middle of the of this number, you know, 8.5 is like the 50th
35:16percentile, right? So trying to figure out what that means about, you know, guys getting benched and stuff. Um arguing with with Sam Sherman last week
35:26in that context on on that's fair.
35:30Uh so that's how more I've looked at it.
35:32But trying to look quickly uh who jumps out?
35:43I mean the commanders at plus 6,000. Is this Oh, this is Super Bowl odds. I I would do I'm not going to bet them Super
35:50Bowl, I don't think. But uh wins commanders. What are the commanders?
35:58I got to make this pick.
36:03All right, I should go back over my 555. Looks like it timed out somehow.
36:12Not great for me.
36:15All right, let me open up the DraftKings app. What's going on?
36:25DraftKings is making me sign in.
36:32Okay, I'm on the clock it looks like. No, I'm in up in three. [snorts] Okay,
36:41here you can share this sweat with me as I try to get back to the draft.
36:47Uh, okay. I'm up in two upcoming contests.
36:58Come on.
37:00All right, I think we're going to be good.
37:06This 20 one is the one I forgot that I entered and it just autodrafted. So, I'm not eligible for prizes, so it just sits
37:12there.
37:15We made it. Harold Fannon, top of the kick. That that what a reward for me. I just get back in time. Just in time. No
37:25time to spare. And I get my duckfooted King Herald fan and past ADP. Glorious.
37:31Glorious.
37:33Uh let's see. Let's see if they'll give me Xavier worthy for the stack. In the meantime, going to go over here, take a look at
37:40this eliminator.
37:42See how we're doing.
37:44Uh yeah. So, Commander Win total, if I knew what it was, it might be.
37:51Yeah, the audio on the stream is good. I I'm leaving this on for uh for myself.
37:58Um this but the multi table's about to end because we're in the 17th round of the eliminator.
38:04Uh, and this team is going to have Jeremy Bernard.
38:15You know, this would be like I think an interesting we'll we'll talk about the eliminator a little bit more when it
38:20finishes. But I do think the eliminator is interesting where um a man I I just got double sniped on the home stuff
38:29worthy and then Kelsey went to different teams. That's annoying. Uh Bo Nicks backstack stackable to a degree.
38:39Take him.
38:47So this 555 CD Lamb, AJ Brown, Bree Hall, Javante Williams, Bucky Irving, Trivia Henderson, Mai Lemon, Patrick Mahomes, who I took with Dak Prescott
38:58off the board, uh who went actually ahead of when I took Mai Lemon. then Harold Fannon, then I took Bo Nicks. So,
39:06potential for quarterback value to be the key here as opposed to the stack because we do have a Cowboys bet. Uh we
39:16do have, you know, two of those guys there. We we have also a Patriots bet, AJ Brown and Trevian Henderson. We don't have either
39:25quarterback, but both quarterback, both of those quarterbacks went in the early seventh. And then we have Mahomes and then Bo Knicks. Uh, you know,
39:34significantly later. Knicks obviously does have the week 17 bringback element with the Patriots. So, we are betting on that game to to go off. So far, don't
39:43have any Broncos, but we'll see. That will probably change Pat Bryan or someone like that, but uh, you know, we'll we'll see.
39:53Back to the eliminator for the final pick and Ted Hurst.
39:59which is a nice pick for the point I wanted to make on this, which is that, you know, if you're telling someone
40:05about eliminator, like what do you want to do in Eliminator that you might not do in normal baseball? You might say,
40:11well, rookies are probably a little bit worse because you have to score points, you know, every single week. Um, you can't
40:20have a down week, you're going to get eliminated kind of thing or at least not too down of a week. And those early
40:25weeks are really important.
40:27And I think that's true. Except what if the rookies are all way too cheap and so you get Omar Cooper at 151, you get
40:34Deshawn Stribbling at 186, you get Jeremy Bernard at 199, you get Ted Hurst 210, uh, and you get Mai Lemon at pick
40:4190. Like, this team has a ton of rookie wide receivers. It also has Jonathan Taylor, Devon Han, Crunch Judkins, uh, you know, three early running back
40:49picks. It's a three three quarterback build. has an elite tight end and then Harold Fannon. So, it should be scoring well uh at the other positions, but it's
40:56just, you know, kind of the point of rules of thumb are helpful, but they can't be the beall endall because prices
41:02matter so much in this game.
41:07All right, I'll review the eliminator team at the end when I review the 555 team, but the multitabling is over. I'm
41:15going to turn off the on the clock sound so no one gets uh startled jarred that they're on the clock somewhere.
41:23I know the feeling, you know, that sound is kind of Pavlovian at this point.
41:29Uh oh, if the Josh Allen team's getting eliminated in week one playing Houston, that that would be interesting. Uh, I
41:40hear you on Allen, but would your uh stance change if other quarterbacks started moving up once the Casuals enter the frey? It would a bit. Yes. If if
41:48quart I mean it's just in a hypothetical where all quarterback prices moved up, Josh Allen would like objectively become a better pick, right? It's like that's
41:58just how it would work. It the difference between him to the rest of the of the position would change and it
42:03would be much harder to argue. And I think you could argue that that would be fine. that like you know that would be a
42:10more efficient market if all these quarterbacks especially guys like Drake May and Jaden Daniels and Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson that if those guys moved up that would
42:20actually be more efficient market. I don't think you necessarily be wrong but um the fact that that price gap exists is a huge part of of why I think Allen
42:28is a tricky click.
42:32All right.
42:35Are the inputs too low on Ricky Pieraw.
42:37What if he's really good? I think we have what if he's really good baked in.
42:40Uh I think we do. I've been kind of poking and proddding on the pure stuff to make sure we're not missing anything
42:48there. Uh it's a guy we've talked about as recently as uh yesterday. And I think we're I think we're fair on Paw. We do
42:57see him occasionally.
42:58Uh he's gone now and he didn't pop up near the top of the sidekick, but um he's not a player I think we're just
43:08like have our heads in the sand on.
43:11I think uh yeah, I kind of wish we were taking more of him.
43:17He's probably just a little bit overpriced is is really what it comes down to. I mean, some of the the interesting thing for me with the way we
43:24do this now is that we basically give the Sims like what we think and then the Sims kind of help us determine who the
43:31good picks are. And that's not always like evident to me, you know, before we run Sims and before we start to use the
43:41sidekick of like, well, who's going to who's going to stand out as like the Mega Smashes, it's not always it's not
43:48always obvious to me like who we're going to love. I largely I'm like we're probably going to like this guy but um
43:56you know you get in drafts and like man we are I don't like I don't think Khalil Shakir would have been super high on my
44:00list. We take a lot of Khalil Shakir and I think it's just the dynamics of where he tends to fall in that in that
44:07tier of receivers. He went ahead of Romeo Dobs and Casey Conpsion here but typically he goes after those guys and if you need a receiver in that range
44:15he's one of those guys. And so, you know, Shakir, like had I taken Ferguson and then Shakir falls back to the 1203, which
44:24wouldn't be all that unusual, um I pretty sure he would have been top of the sidekick there. So, it comes down
44:32to kind of the puzzle, you know, as much as who we like.
44:36uh starting to come around on Bree Lightning if you go wide receiver. Wide
44:48receiver. Yeah, I think it's I think it's good.
44:52Uh uh Tiger uppercut thinks it's the moon the wire draft sync up. That's that's interesting. Um Pat, isn't Malik Willis a better and
45:06cheaper version of the field bet from years past? Feels like he's heavily slept on right now and love him in three
45:12quarterback builds. Yeah, I mean I think Fields was a miss for us last year with just not having enough of of the bench
45:22possibility baked in. And so I do think there's some similarities especially to last year feels but it's one that where you know I'm very aware of just how bad
45:32this Dolphins offense not just like could be but like kind of is like how bad things are likely to be.
45:40Uh you know it's not like there's really much optimism for their win total. Um which is which is a 4.5.
45:50So, like we're talking about half the seasons we're we're getting below five wins on on the Dolphins. I mean, yeah, I I think the similarity of Fields
46:01is is not necessarily a good thing there.
46:05Uh, and they're going to draft a quarterback next year. This team is going to move on from from Malik Willis at the end of the
46:13year in all likelihood. So, it's just it's a little bit more similar maybe to to Sam Howell in some ways, except I
46:20think Howell had a probably a longer leash. Maybe maybe not. Maybe maybe they're similar, but Howell was also like a 17th and 18th round pick and
46:28Malik Willis is quite a bit more expensive. So, [snorts] I know up there.
46:35Yeah.
46:37Does the kick ever get to the backup running backs for the Dolphins on DK? I have seen Olly Gordon today, I think, in
46:46a slow draft. I saw him pop up. Um, he's he's in the simps. We do see him a little. Not a ton. Travis Hunter getting
46:57sniped. There's a real real big bummer for me. Could have used that receiver pick for sure. Little bit of a receiver
47:04run there that wiped out some good picks. Omar Cooper, Travis Hunter, Jawan Jennings, even Florenoi with this uh Cowboys bet. [snorts]
47:14That is a bit of a shame from for my build, but we'll uh we'll overcome.
47:22Are there any fancy zeros that you IKB that the psychic doesn't believe in yet?
47:26Or are you waiting for camp? Kron Allen is a little bit of a fancy zero that I try to get more of. um where it's kind
47:33of like I think we have everything correct for what we know now, but I also think like with a little bit of information,
47:41we might think some very different things. So, uh yeah, he's he's a guy I'm kind of willing to like bet on changing the
47:49narrative to a degree, but we'll see. I mean, it's it's me kind of being speculative, which is why it's an IKB.
47:57All right, Tyler Algier's top of the sidekick here.
48:01building out some running back depth after starting wide receiver, wide receiver, but then four straight running backs, then tacked on too late. Uh, and
48:10now we are looking at a big old wall of yellow because I need to fill out wide receiver depth. I've got two run two
48:17quarterbacks, six running backs, three wide receivers, three tight ends, and pretty sure we're looking at a lot of wide receivers, maybe another tight end
48:26to close with the first tight end being in the ninth.
48:37What is the cheapest team to grab the entire passing offense? The Browns. Uh I know that low ceiling probably is the
48:44Browns I would say, right? Uh I mean they're the fir the first Brown is coming off with with Harold Fannon. You
48:53get Casey Conpion, Denzel Boston, Jerry Judy, no one's expensive. the quarterback. It's got to be the Browns.
48:59Yeah.
49:04Oh, Bizaro Davis overdrafts Parker Washington and 0% Terrence Ferguson.
49:09That That is pretty good.
49:12Uh Pat, you said the other day one way to attack expensive teams is to draft the quarterback naked. Can you expand? Would
49:19you target Caleb naked?
49:22Yeah, I mean I think it would again kind of come down to the pricing dynamics, but you certainly could uh win by by taking the quarterback who
49:34benefits from really expensive weapons that are so expensive that they're actually not great picks and then uh is able to put up a lot of points on the
49:46back of those guys. Uh, one example would actually be on my winning BBM team, I had Tom Brady. I did not have
49:54Mike Evans. Mike Evans dropped 50 in uh, in the final. He wasn't really represented in the baseball mania final though because he was an early second
50:03round pick. Uh, I I got I had Saquon Barkley in his kind of Giants bounceback season and uh, I got him after Evans was off
50:14the board. He was an early second in that draft. generally I think more of a mid-second that year, but was really
50:20expensive and didn't really pay off that ADP to the point that he wasn't uh really in the final. And so I didn't have to beat Mike Evans. I then
50:31I had Tom Brady and he had an awesome uh final game. DJ Moore was was opposite the Bucks as a bringback. I had him. I
50:38had Chris Godwin stacked with Brady which didn't um he didn't score nearly as well as Evans did but he was a lot
50:46cheaper and so he was the better pick and so he you know you were able to get there with him. So you know imagine
50:51Godwin had been a first round pick that year. Uh I would have been better off not taking Godwin but maybe taking naked
50:57Brady anyway at a at a cheap price. So, you know, it's uh I mean, if Caleb Williams was like a 13th round pick, I
51:05think we'd all be like, should we just take naked Caleb Williams? Like, there is a point at which he would be sort of
51:09obviously the way to play the Bears. Uh where the stacking options just are unlikely to pay off their ADP. So, yeah,
51:17it's just a it's just a matter of how divorced does the quarterback get from the prices of his weapons. And at a
51:24certain point, they would just become a really good pick, even naked.
51:34All right.
51:37Do you think JSN has reached peak value in Dynasty?
51:43How old is JSN?
51:48JSN is 24 years old.
51:52I think he's not probably likely to rise much more, but it's also uh probably yes, he's probably breached peak value, yes, but he's also likely to
52:03retain value, you know, reasonably well.
52:07So, it's not a player I'd be super nervous about either.
52:15Yeah, I think so. From your experience drafting with Sims, anything interesting you learned the Sims? uh let's say than you previously may not do. I think a lot
52:24of the dynamics around stacking and uh kind of building the whole thing around like my whole teams around making
52:34sure I have stacked quarterbacks and uh not taking quarterback value as a result because I'm like I can't stack
52:44that guy and then uh taking like a worse pick at quarterback because I couldn't stack the guy I wanted to take. I think
52:52that's bad. The Sims, the Sims do not think to think it's good and and I trust the math. So, I think that was probably bad.
53:01And this team would be an example where I get Mahomes and Knicks. I have Javvante Williams, Jake Ferguson, and CD Lamb. I am betting pretty hard on the
53:10Cowboys. And again, I have uh AJ Brown and Tvon Henderson. So, I'm betting on uh the Patriots.
53:21I would have bet on the Jets if they'd let me. Omar Cooper didn't come back, right? But uh he certainly would have
53:26been someone I would have been happy to take where he went. And uh yeah, so I don't have direct stacks with Mahomes
53:35uh really at all. I don't even have any bringbacks there. And then I have bring backs on Knicks. And we'll see. We might
53:40we might backstack him. You can see Troy Franklin's on the list. I need receivers. Pat Bryant's going to be in in the mix. So, I am likely to have a
53:48backdoor stack with Knicks, but this this seems likely to end up back door Knicks stack with Patriots bring backs and then naked Mahomes, but then you do
53:57have this Cowboys bet uh where, you know, maybe we even do some like Giants bringbacks stuff. Probably not. I'm not seeing like Fields is pretty far down
54:08here, but uh that that's another option, too, where you could have a big game stack without the quarterback. So, stuff like that. I did talk about stacking
54:15without the quarterback, but at the same time, to me, without the Sims, that was more like something I was doing in
54:21addition to also trying to stack my quarterbacks. Um, I am still trying to stack my quarterbacks, but if like a quarterback at a value falls in your
54:29lap, I'm a lot more likely to take him now.
54:37Uh, Jakard tool question. I should get Sack on one of these soon and we'll we can kind of go through the Jakard stuff cuz
54:45that's that's kind of his forte. Um and we can actually share uh his screen which might be nice uh on as I as I drive the sticks on the
54:56on the draft. So try to answer Jakard stuff in the next week or two.
55:04Got a JSN Seaquin start in SWAT room today. Did I win BBM?
55:10That's a pretty good start. I'm still gonna I'm still gonna max it out if that's okay with you. Don't take any
55:15offense. I'm still gonna max the B. I'm still gonna max BBM. Uh, all right. I'm on the clock here again.
55:27Looks like Ted Hurst. Ted Hurst kind of the star of today's stream. Drafted on both teams.
55:34And then Franklin and Bryant look like they'll be the next guys up here. Oh no, Franklin in his own tier a little bit. Bryant
55:44drops down uh behind Null and Brazil.
55:47We'll see. We'll see how it plays out.
55:51My longest shot is Tank Dell, comeback player of the year plus 8,000. I could see it. Brock Bowers, offensive player of the year, 80 to1.
56:00Baitman 400 to1. Come on. [gasps] at a zero maybe. Uh, no, I don't know. I mean, they they there have been
56:09touchdowns there. I'll give that to you.
56:12Um, Commanders is 7.5. I I like that as an over. I guess you were looking more for like player specific futures, but I like
56:22the Commanders over uh with with Jane Daniels healthy.
56:29Fannon has been falling. And I genuinely don't get why I like him 25% because he just sits there. Yeah, he he does fall. I don't really get it
56:38either. All right, Troy Franklin for for the stack.
56:42And uh we might end up with Pat Bryant anyway. We'll see if he comes back.
56:48Brazil and Bryant are top of the sidekick.
56:53Brazle has just been free, man. Like totally totally free. get him in the 20th round super regularly.
57:04Sideweek sidekick has been very interesting for Eliminator early on. I may have been a little bit too worried about the by-week overlap. Yeah, I'll
57:10take a look at the by-weeks. Actually, I can do I can do that now. Uh so by weeks, we got quarterbacks 7, 10, and
57:1811. Jaden Daniels, Jaden, Jaylen Herz, and Sam Darnold. Then at running back, Jonathan Taylor, Devon Chan, Quinchan Judkins, and Jakory Kroski Merritt. 136
57:2711 and seven. At receiver, Jaylen Wadd, Mai Lemon, Jacobe Meyers, Omar Cooper, uh Travis Hunter, Jerry Judy, Deshawn Stribbling, Jeremy Bernard, and Ted
57:38Hurst. I've got three 10s there, two sevens, uh and then no other overlap. And then at tight end Trey McBride and Harold
57:48Fannon 14 and 11. So yeah, I mean seven seems to be my big one here. I got a quarterback, a running back, uh two
57:59receivers on buy in week seven and then 10 uh also another one with one of my quarterbacks and then three of the
58:06receivers. But yeah, the buys are fairly spread out which I think is probably good overall. Sometimes you'll see like some buys get, you know, if you're if
58:16you have a lot of buys, it might be later on. You're kind of playing for, you know, you get there, you get you get
58:22a match up with someone else whose team's not so great maybe and um you know, you got pretty far before the
58:28by-weeks hit, which gives you a better chance of having gotten there in the first place kind of thing. So, I think
58:32there's some interesting stuff that happens with the by-weeks.
58:36One thing about Fan and his Monkin historically has kept his tight end in pass protection a lot which could lower his route share.
58:44It's not really true of Andrews. Um I I don't think that I think Monin's a sharp guy and that would be not a sharp thing
58:52to do with Harold Fannon specifically because that's not really what he does.
58:55So that doesn't give me a ton of concern.
58:59Pat Bryant did not make it back. Uh, I'm not on the clock yet, but so far just the the Troy Franklin stack. We'll see.
59:09Is uh is Evan Ingram floating around here? He's not.
59:13Where did Evan Ingram go? Getting sniped on Evan Ingram is brutal.
59:21Yeah. Oh god, he won the 18th 18th round. Evan Ingram, man. [snorts] other aspects of uh the sidekick support
59:34things I believe last year like not overindexing on things like rookie avoidance eliminator as picks etc. Yeah again like those rules of thumb like
59:43they definitely can be true but then what happens when everyone believes that they're true and then they start drafting like you can't draft rookies in
59:50eliminator. Well all of a sudden you can draft rookies in the eliminator because they're cheaper than they ought to be.
59:56Uh, so it's just this is like kind of the nature of peer-to-p peer games where stuff gets baked into the prices and
60:03then that changes what the good picks are. Brazil, I shouldn't have talked about how, you know, he's so Oh, he's so
60:08cheap, dude. You could just take him in the 20th every time. You don't got to take him. Don't even when you want to
60:14take him, don't because he'll be there in the next round.
60:18Great, great job by me. Really, uh, excellent work. Chris Brazzle's gone.
60:23Keenan Allen's next up. Uh hopefully I didn't just jinx that. We'll see if uh Peter Jennings lets me have Kenan. He
60:31does not.
60:35Great. All right, Jacobe Lane. Uh his route running. I don't know if you've seen his latest video, but uh it's a vid
60:42it's a video that might have me uh lowering him a little. It was uh this is supposed to be hype season. He ran what
60:49uh what I describe it as a loping some some looping some uh meandering kind of leadfooted route running to my
60:59eyes. It wasn't impressive.
61:02Uh don't Oh, here we are. Michael Pennix as the third quarterback completes the unstacked trio is on brand for this draft. So, let's go ahead and
61:13do it.
61:15Uh, quarterback points. Quarterbacks score points, too. The Sims insist that we uh that we factor that in.
61:24Uh, AP Pat BBM on underdog had a round one prize of 100K for the highest scoring team. Does that does anyone make content
61:35strategy specifically target this prize?
61:38Uh, would that just be a marathon strategy type thing?
61:44Yeah, I mean I think this is why Shady talks about the sidekick uh doing, you know, recommending the picks that make
61:51you the most money because there are uh you know, depending on the the format you're there sort of maybe some competing incentives or whatever. So,
62:02uh, your that is truly something where if you were going to be trying to go for, uh, a regular season prize in baseball mania,
62:13like I am, I am leaning hard on the sidekick to factor in the rate at which I would want to, uh, you know, tilt my
62:20team towards regular season scoring versus trying to make the playoffs. I've always thought like myself just cuz I have a I got one brain, you know, and
62:30it's it's, you know, it's pretty good.
62:34It's probably better ones. Uh, but I'm not trying to like I just don't know. Like I'm trying to I'm going to think through how do I
62:43make how do I do the primary thing that this tournament offers, which is $2 million to first place. Like how do I
62:49win that $2 million? um trying to do something where I'm trying to actually shift and like knowing when the right time to shift and start playing for the
62:59$100,000 prize for the first place. Um I just don't know. So that's that's where I think the sidekick really would help you there is that you would you
63:09would have that ma I mean that's a math question fundamentally. So let's let's have the math math on that.
63:19Uh Yeah.
63:26But I mean, yeah, I think from a the strategy perspective, I would say it's you're just kind of playing marathon style.
63:41Can you talk about Hurst? I think he's going to be awesome with Baker. I think Hurst is going to be good. Uh I think he
63:47could also not be good. you know, he's a it's a sort of a boom bus play. Uh he uh is a kind of a smaller school guy. He
63:55transfers uh from like a small program and then he was super productive for two years and like kind of in an old school
64:04way like this is a profile that I used to be really intrigued by and we had some hits you know these guys who were
64:10just like super productive um in you know their third and fourth year even so they didn't come out early but they're
64:18really productive in those final seasons at smaller schools.
64:22We've also seen some guys really not perform well uh with that profile ultimately and it kind of being like well they yeah they dominated at a
64:33smaller school or a less prestigious program. In Ted Hurst he case he had a 37% dominator rating uh that was 31% of
64:42Georgia State's yards and 43% of their touchdowns. uh as a as a true junior at 20 years old. And then at 21 years old,
64:49he had 37% of their uh receiving yards and uh 29% of their receiving touchdowns for a 33% dominated rating. Pretty good
65:00stuff. He was also reasonably efficient, 2.37 yards per team attempt in that final season.
65:05And then he's athletic. He's four got a 442 240. He's 206. Kind of a classic X receiver. He's got a a solid vert 36 and
65:12a half. Good broad jump. really good broad jump actually 135 so he's athletic great leaping ability big enough to play outside he's 6'4
65:23so there's upside here for him to be a starting outside wide receiver and a downfield threat in an offense that should be pretty good he doesn't have to
65:31be the number one option probably not getting double covered could be kind of a spike play type of player um and so
65:38I'm intrigued by that and I think ultimately he's a much better fit for that kind of outside downfield threat role than Jaylen McMillan is, who's more
65:44of a Z or even a slot. And so the opportunity is in front of him. If he's good, I think he could be a player who
65:51matters in baseball at his price, which is basically free. So, yeah, I'm I'm taking a lot of Ted Hurst. Uh, it is a player I recognize could
66:02ultimately be not much. You know, he's a third round rookie. He could be Jaylen Hyatt. You know, it could be bad, but
66:10he's got opportunity in front of him.
66:12Uh, so that, you know, that's the type of play I tend to like. It was like, hey, you don't need to be amazing. You
66:19just need to be pretty good and and you can be a real nice hit.
66:25Uh, so that's the Ted Hurst spiel.
66:32So, this is an interesting one. Uh, you cannot win the 100K without winning your pod. If you have a bunch of teams built
66:37to win the pods you're in, then your odds of winning the regular season prize will be higher.
66:42uh aka don't sweat that part.
66:46Yeah, keyword Georgia State. I think that is that's a very fair keyword uh you know that he was dominating Georgia State but we have seen guys at small
66:54programs or you know less impressive schools um be very good and uh I think you know it's going to be kind of a boom
67:03bust type of thing but uh you know similar stuff was was levied at guys who were ultimately really really good so
67:13I have uh I have some hope for Ted Hurst. My bigger concern with with Ted Hurst, the couple concerns with Hurst is
67:20that he might be ultimately a better real life player than baseball player because, you know, he's not drawing targets at a high rate, but he's really
67:27helping open things up for other people.
67:28That's a concern I have. And then I also have a concern, as I do with pretty much all third round picks, that even if he
67:33hits, it might not be this year. We had Nico Collins breakout, but not in year one. You know, he he would have been a bust uh taken taken at
67:43this price in year one.
67:46uh you know, Michael Wilson just had a really nice season. It's been it's been okay. Like for free, you would be happy
67:52to have had Wilson so far, but it's not uh something that was amazing. So, yeah, Bowling Green would be a guy uh
68:03with I mean, I I had to push back a bunch on the whole Bowling Green doesn't matter. His production straight up
68:10doesn't matter. And I think people tend to get, you know, I think I think it's hard to kind of live in the gray on this
68:16type of stuff where it's like, yes, the Bowling Green element of Harold Fannon's profile was a red flag. Like, if he did
68:22that at Georgia, we would be like, this is the greatest tight end prospect we've ever seen. Uh, who cares if he's duckfooted? He just
68:31did this at Georgia. I have no questions. His production is is insane.
68:35Uh, so yeah, I mean you do want to downweight it for that level of competition, but then you don't you don't throw it out. I think a lot people
68:42like to throw out stuff. I think it makes things cleaner. It's cleaner to think through things when you get to throw out entire parts of, you know, a
68:50question. Don't got to think about that part anymore. Threw it out. Uh, so for Hurst, you know, I think it's it's
68:56similar in that you do have uh level of competition questions. It's not similar in that he's not like one of the most
69:02productive wide receivers of all time the way Harold Fannon was one of the most productive tight ends of all time.
69:06So, it's just a it's a difference in kind of starting point. I don't I don't have the same unbridled enthusiasm that
69:11I have for Fannon because the profile is just not as strong for Hurst, but it is intriguing.
69:17Christian Watson was an insane producer at uh North Dakota State. That's actually not even true. in his early seasons he was late and he was very
69:25efficient late. But kind of to make your point stronger I would say is we had like an incomplete resume on Christian
69:33Watson and it was really a bet on like pretty late production at a small school and very very good athleticism.
69:44That was enough. You know it won't be enough in a lot of cases. These are kind of more boom bust bets, but it is uh you
69:52know, it is something to consider as far as the range of outcomes on these types of players.
69:58Yeah, Michael Wilson helped me get to the finals last year for BBM, my round 18th pick.
70:04Some of these uh third rounders I do think you want to kind of keep in the back of your mind for future seasons.
70:10You know, the guys who burn you but then still have roles. Uh, Michael Wilson never really burned people, but he just
70:17wasn't awesome. Uh, but regardless, I think, you know, we're gonna see some of these guys not really do much and still
70:27be slated for for roles in in year two.
70:29And if they stay basically free, those are players to still keep in mind.
70:36Yeah. Well, I'm saying I'm saying Michael Wilson last year, which I believe was his third year, uh, broke out
70:46Uh, should we be considering uh drafting Damen Martinez over Marshon Lloyd as the Green Bay backup running back? Jacobs looked kind of dusty toward the end of
70:56season last year. I would definitely say um you know this is what training camp is for for me is is right now I don't
71:04think we should, but I am also open to change my mind quickly on that. Uh, for sure more argument about the the pedigree
71:17stuff. I mean, I again I think the pedigree stuff kind of it just creates you're always going to have a low floor
71:23with that kind of profile, especially with non- elite draft capital, but you're also going to have, you know, and third round is good, not great draft
71:30capital. But, you know, you don't want to you don't want to discount the the idea of a ceiling either. All right, let
71:36me get over to the legup Discord where there's some good questions and I've got about 15 minutes to answer those. Throw
71:42throw questions in on the chat as well.
71:45Um, we had, you know, hype. Oh, no. There was a good question here that I actually used for the thumbnail
71:56uh asking about the one player that you could have uh that you could if you could know the
72:06stat line of one player. Okay, here it is. might be a better question for ADP chasing, but Zayn said, "If you could
72:11know one stat line from the season right now, it either be Parker Washington or Brian Thomas Jr., what would your answer
72:17be?" I think mine would be Bowowers because I would get the chance to just draft the crap out of Bowers or just
72:23never draft him again. And I think he is the type of player that this season like could really be about. But then also
72:30knowing that that's definitely not true.
72:32And uh taking other second round picks when there's a lot of second round picks I like uh would would probably be the
72:39way I'd go. But but curious for for your guys answers on that one. [snorts] Um, let's see.
72:54In hypothetical thetical version of the sidekick that was portfolio, exposures, combinations, etc., how much would that information shape recommendations or would still be pretty similar to the
73:03current product? That's more of a shady question. I guess what I'd say is like we've talked a lot about this stuff with
73:08Shady and he seems pretty comfortable getting in a lot of volume with the way we have it now. So, uh I'm not sure it
73:16would change a ton, but uh I I'll kind of defer to Shady uh in the next that is a good question for for Shady.
73:25Hopefully, we can get that in front of him pretty soon. Um all right.
73:34when leveraging the sidekick but not doing top guy. How do you keep yourself engaged and not fall into top guy? I
73:40just look at the team and then how that player would fit into the team. And so that's to me where theformational tags
73:45of like teammate, quarterback and and I look at, you know, can I push a guy? Can I if I if I take this guy here, you
73:54know, are there let's let's say it's like there's the recommendations are running back. I'll give you like it'll be like Aaron Jones,
74:05Khalil Shakir, and then uh Jordan Mason, uh or let me let me say it's Conpsion for more fun, but it's like Aaron Jones,
74:14uh Conpsion, and then like a bunch of running backs. And I need a running back. Maybe I got like three running
74:20backs, but I could also use a receiver.
74:23And Sidekick likes Aaron Jones the most, but I'm picking at the end of the round.
74:29And then I'm going to be picking, you know, I'm out of the 10 hole, let's say.
74:32So, there's going to be a wrap where I Jones could get sniped, but Mason is also there. And Mason, I think, is going
74:40to flip Jones at ADP pretty soon. And so, it's like, well, if I want Jones, I have Mason for cover. I've got some
74:45other running back cover. And then, if I end up with like Chris Rodriguez or Jordan Mason or, you know, one of these
74:52other running backs, then I still would get that guy. That might be a spot where I might IB to the receiver, especially
74:58if it's a guy I am kind of willing to IKB to like a Casey Conpsion. So, that would be one way I'd play it, you know,
75:04where I'm like, "Okay, uh, this is helpful to see what the Sims are saying, but I'm going to go slightly different
75:10off of that and ultimately try to get both players that are sitting here right at the top of the sidekick. I'm going to
75:16I'm taking first and I'm going to try to uh have a running back come back, but I feel like these running backs are fairly
75:23close.
75:24And so if I don't get Jones, you know, the consolation prize for me, you know, I I think I'll feel pretty good about
75:32uh but yeah, I think just kind of like tracking how the the team is coming together and what I can do uh in that
75:39specific room to make the best possible team is is kind of what I'm thinking through.
75:44Uh assume you had only access to last season's data, how would you approach back testing the sidekick with such a low sample size? So we are not back
75:53testing things in that sense. This is a forwardlooking uh projection
76:02where we are simming out the 2026 NFL season uh based on what we expect these players to do this season. So it's not
76:10using anything like you know oh you know five running backs through X rounds like that is that stuff breaks down quick
76:18even with you know like oh you only have last year's sample you only have like four years of I mean imagine in week
76:24five you were like it's week five and we know for sure that you can't play two tight ends with salaries you know above
76:32the in DFS like I don't think that would work very well so we're not doing that. Um and that that kind of eliminates back
76:43testing questions in the sense that you're asking it. Uh you know we are looking at our own accuracy of predicting things.
76:53Uh but that's I think a different question than the one asked here.
76:59What are some positional battles or specific players that you're watching closer than others in the first few weeks of training camp? The ambiguous
77:06backfields are kind of top of list for me. you know, the Washington backfield, the Tennessee backfield. Is Singleton in the mix? Are we hearing reports of, you
77:15know, their tight end four looking or their their running back four looking interesting? Are we hearing Robert Henry's name a lot? That sounds bad for
77:22Kron Allen, right? Uh, Green Bay, that's not an ambiguous starter, but you know what? The starter might miss some games this year. Who's
77:31the backup? That guy could matter. the 49ers running back too behind uh Christian McCaffrey is definitely one that jumps out. Uh the Colts RB2, I'm
77:43I'm not sure who that is. Just like literally stuff I can learn by like who's repping with the ones? It's two
77:50days in. Who's been repping with the ones? Like that is kind of lowhanging fruit for me.
77:55So yeah, that's definitely probably the biggest thing. I'm trying to learn depth chart stuff. The Giants wide receiver room is an interesting one for sure. The
78:03Dolphins wide receiver room is a really interesting one. Uh the Chargers tight end room, you know, how are those guys repping with the ones? There's been a
78:10lot of debate about that. Uh you know, kind of in Jooku and Colar has become the the real polarizing part of it. I
78:15think most people think generally similar things about Gadston.
78:20He'll have a role. He won't dominate uh snaps, but what if he's dominating snaps? That would be that would be obviously an interesting shift in in
78:28kind of our overall perception of that tight end room. So, the more ambiguous it is, the more interested I am.
78:34Obviously, the Browns quarterback run uh is going to be one of those. But, yeah, I think uh and then some of these
78:41rookies, these rookies kind of hitting the ground running or or not having a huge role. That doesn't necessarily doom them if they don't have a huge role
78:49right away. You know, Justin Jefferson infamously behind Ola BC Johnson in week one, but I would prefer if they're looking really good and and starting to
78:58have a role right away.
79:00Is the market reaction to the Chimera contract ridiculous or am I faded? I'm seeing ETN going late round four, but didn't Chimera take a restructuring to
79:08get paid less. We already knew Chimera was on the team when he was being drafted round three. I didn't think Chimera was or I didn't think ETN was a
79:16great pick where he was going. Um, we tend to like the running backs in that kind of round three, round four range,
79:21but he was the guy was actually kind of comfortable fading uh to an extent there.
79:27Uh, I I picked him as like the the bust of that group in a ship chasing or an ADP chasing thing we did a couple weeks
79:33ago and I think yeah I think the market kind of caught up to what we already had in there which is that Chimera is going to
79:40have some role you know he will uh and it looked pretty clear he was going to be around um not 100% but pretty clear
79:49looks 100% now uh and so you know I could see just justification in dropping ETM like a tad but the market seems to
79:57kind of almost woken up to something that that wasn't really baked in before.
80:01So, uh yeah, I am I'm definitely open to drafting ETN on the fourth now for sure.
80:08Uh I think nothing has really changed from a few weeks ago.
80:14What's your biggest miss you've had in your best career? Any lessons you took away from that?
80:20Uh, well, we talked about this was less baseball than, but I did I was doing a little baseball, but it's more high
80:28stakes. But when Justin Jefferson came out, I was pretty into Justin Jefferson as part of the late round one dynasty
80:39picks. And I have him on a number of teams still, you know, and he he's won this guy's won me Dynasty championships,
80:47but I preferred Jaylen Ragger like straight up. Un like fortunately, so did the market in Dynasty. And so you uh you
80:56just got Jefferson. If you had if you thought the class was good, you were kind of overall right about the class
81:03and you're you trading in getting extra picks and drafting these guys and kind of playing it like a volume game. Like
81:09this 2020 receiver class is awesome. I want, you know, more than one of these guys. Jerry Judy, you know, was going in
81:16that late first round. There's a bunch of guys there and I was drafting a lot of them. But then when it came to
81:22reddraft, it was, you know, Rager and Jefferson and I was taking Rager and we didn't really draft Justin Jefferson. It was
81:29obviously a smash and Rager was an epic bust.
81:32And so to me, it wasn't so much like, hey, the lesson is get better at prospecting. Um although I have tried to
81:39do that. But the lesson really is like if you think both these guys are good, it's just really dumb to just like draft
81:45only one of them when you think both are good and getting tied to like very specific, you know, outcomes that feel like you
81:53just you see it in your head like it's going to be so awesome, dude. It's going to be so awesome. I don't even want to
81:57think about what happens when this doesn't happen cuz that doesn't feel awesome anymore because I've I'm starting to double and triple down on
82:04something. So just not doing that and and being able to like I like Travis Hunter a lot where he goes. I like Omar
82:10Cooper where he goes. I have over 20% of both of them. And that previous version of me might have like you know like o 35
82:20you know 10 or something and being willing to mix up those bets I think is just so key.
82:28Any concern with Jeremy Bernard being behind Russell Wilson? Uh Wilson has been glued to Rogers hip this offseason.
82:34He better be because I think that's the only way he gets on the field for an extended period of time. Not not really
82:38for that. I mean, that one that one is one where I'm just going to be like, you're telling me I get to bet against
82:42Roman Wilson again? Hell [laughter] yeah. You know, so I think Bernard is going to be more of an end of season
82:49play. Uh I don't expect him to have much of a role in the early weeks. I think that's okay at his price. Uh if he can't
82:55beat out Roman Wilson, he's not good.
82:59You know, and some of these rookies aren't good, but he was a second round pick. I would expect him to be good
83:02enough to beat out Roman Wilson.
83:05What are the odds that likely finishes at the number two tight end on his own team? I think because of touchdowns,
83:09it's it's live. I think he's one of the more overpriced tight ends in baseball, if not the most overpriced.
83:18Uh yeah, I'm curious about the projection for the Miami wide receiver room because I hardly ever see them. Uh but occasionally IKB to take stabs. the way
83:28we do it. You don't necessarily like we don't have to no one ha like if there's not a clear answer of who the right pick
83:37is. It's not like we have to give it to someone. You know what I mean? So right now the wide receivers is we're
83:45kind of like a we don't really know sort of situation cuz there's enough of these guys and it's not clear that there is
83:52going to be a winner there from a fantasy perspective because the passing game could be super low volume and then you have Greg Doulich and you have Achan
84:00uh and then you also have the potential for it to be like the answer is two outwell for 3 weeks you know like and
84:07then he goes away so it could be kind of like yeah there was some production here, but it was spread out over the
84:11course of multiplayers over various points of the year. Um, but Douglas is starting to make a little bit of a mini
84:18mini drum beat, and I'm definitely I'm definitely listening on that.
84:23Uh, and I've seen him pop up. I think he was on the 555 near the top at the end.
84:28He didn't make it. Oh, he is. Okay, so he is currently at the top of the Sidekick right now. The draft is over,
84:36but he is at the top. Um, all right. Oh, yeah. Travis Hunter after Isaac Tesla. That seems genuinely insane. It sure does. Sure does. This
84:47guy, like literally like we went last year from Travis Hunter is going to go to the Hall of Fame and who is Isaac
84:54Tesla? That's where we were like draft day. Draft day. We're like, wait, who who did the Lions just trade up for? And
85:01now we're taking Tesla ahead sometimes.
85:06Seems nuts, seems crazy. I'm drafting Travis Hunter. [snorts] All right, I'm going to recap this team and then jump over to ADP Chasing. Hope to see you
85:13over there one last time. This team at quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, Bo Knicks, Michael Pennix did not stack the quarterbacks, but we've got some team
85:21level bets going. Bree Hall, Javvante Williams, Bucky Irving, Trevon Henderson uh at running back uh in those first early rounds and then tacked on Taj
85:31Spears and Tyler Algier. And then we have CD Lamb for our second Cowboy. Uh ended up tacking on Ferguson for a third
85:38later. AJ Brown for our second Patriot with Henderson. Mai Lemon. Debo Samuel could be a second someone. You know, we'll see where he lands. Uh Calvin
85:48Ridley uh as our second Titan actually with Taj Spears. Ted Hurst as our second Buck. Troy Franklin stacked with with Bo
85:56Nicks. I said we didn't stack them and in a way we didn't but uh yeah Troy Franklin technically single stack there.
86:03Jacobe Lane and uh that that's the receivers there got up to eight. So three quarterbacks, six running backs, eight receivers. Then the three tight
86:12ends, Harold Fannon, Jake Ferguson, and Mark Andrew. So actually two Ravens, three Cowboys. Uh so there was some interesting like team level correlation
86:24happening here. It wasn't really with the quarterbacks other than the the Knicks Franklin stack, but thank you for uh Greg Rewind. Hope you hope you check
86:34it out. It was a fun one. I I multitabled an eliminator in a 555. Um all right, I'll see you guys over on the
86:42ship chasing channel for ADP Chasing here shortly. Should be a fun episode there. Davis is going to be able to join
86:47us, he said, after uh taking some vacation. So Davis will be back in the saddle. It'll be a fourman show. Uh,
86:54hope to see you there and uh, thanks for watching. If you want to check out the sidekick, legendaryite.comsidekick.
