Alec Pierce

PositiveMatchup39:43

Pierce benefits from the Chiefs' defensive game plan likely prioritizing Jonathan Taylor and run-game containment; the source expects defensive coordinator Spags will not revolve the game plan around taking away Pierce, meaning he will likely see one-on-one coverage at a decent clip. Pierce's ability to get open on his own makes him a target for the Colts' offensive approach against Kansas City's strong pass defense. His recent usage has been strong, and he is projected to command 18-20 million per year in free agency this offseason, signaling significant market confidence in his production trajectory and role expansion.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveMatchup9:29

St. Brown has elite man-coverage metrics with 40.5% targets per route run (highest in NFL) and 1.07 yards per route run vs. Packers, 1.14 vs. Eagles despite 41-45% double coverage. He faces Giants who play man coverage at second-highest rate in league but don't double cover frequently. St. Brown holds 46% of team red-zone targets, providing touchdown equity especially with Cole Leporta sidelined. Home game advantage adds further boost.

Insight page

Brock Wright

NegativeValue13:13

Wright is a thin emergency option with limited upside; last week he had 64% route participation, 16% targets per route run, and 0.32 yards per route run. With Cole Leporta sidelined, the offense is condensing targets to St. Brown and Williams rather than distributing to Wright. DFS pricing at $3,000 is considered expensive for Wright; the source prefers cheaper tight end alternatives this week and views him as a break-glass emergency option only, noting he hasn't been a good player historically.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeValue24:20

Irving was drafted ahead of Jonathan Taylor in the source's draft, a decision the source now regrets. The source explicitly states "Big regrets" about the draft pocket of Chase Brown and Bucky Irving over Jonathan Taylor, indicating Irving's ADP was too high relative to Taylor's emerging value and role.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeValue24:20

Brown was drafted ahead of Jonathan Taylor in the source's draft, a decision the source now regrets. The source explicitly states "Big regrets" about the draft pocket of Chase Brown and Bucky Irving over Jonathan Taylor, indicating Brown's ADP was too high relative to Taylor's emerging value and role.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeProjection24:33

Jones has shown concerning trends in recent games: seven turnovers and 12 sacks over the last two games; he was bad against the Steelers and inconsistent against the Falcons. The source expresses trepidation about Jones in Arrowhead against Steve Spagnolo's defense. Jones's effectiveness is heavily dependent on play-action and run-game setup; when forced into pass-heavy game scripts, he gets exposed. Following the Steelers game, the Colts pivoted back to the run in Atlanta, suggesting they want to avoid putting the game on Jones's shoulders. This creates uncertainty about the Colts' offensive approach in Week 12 vs Kansas City—whether they'll lean on Jonathan Taylor to slow the Chiefs or attempt to pass.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveRole15:45

Dan Campbell has stated he wants to get Montgomery more involved and even out the backfield after Montgomery fell to 17% of carries against the Chiefs and 29% against the Eagles. The source believes Campbell's intent is genuine and expects Montgomery to receive 10–17 touches in this matchup against the Giants with a massive implied team total. Montgomery has strong touchdown equity in this weak run defense matchup; the source doesn't think Campbell is "BSing" and expects him to get more touches than he had against the Eagles. Flexing Montgomery in season-long leagues is recommended for this week.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveUsage16:16

Gibbs is highly efficient and faces the worst run defense in the league; he recorded 15 carries and 13% target share against the Commanders and is projected to receive 15+ touches in this matchup. Campbell has consistently involved him in the screen game over the last two games, getting him in space on designed plays rather than just checkdowns. The source calls this the 'Junior Gibbs screen' because of his elite ability in space. This represents a positive shift from early-season inconsistent receiving usage. Gibbs is very much in play for both DFS and season-long formats with both backs expected to be fed in a game where the Lions have a massive implied team total.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeRole4:18

Jameis Winston starts for the Giants in Week 12 against the Lions. The source's primary concern is whether the Giants will pass with Winston under center, given they were extremely conservative in his first start: 47% actual pass rate vs. 64% expected pass rate (minus-22% on first down, minus-17% overall). This conservative approach could suppress pass-catcher volume. However, against the Lions, the Giants will likely trail and may be more aggressive than they were against Green Bay, creating uncertainty about how aggressively the Giants will deploy Winston in this game.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveRole10:50

Williams' route tree has shifted dramatically under recent play-calling changes; over the past five weeks, 28% of targets on crossing routes and 21% on in-routes (vs. 14% and 12% first five weeks), dropping his average depth of target from 20.8 to 9.7 yards. This aligns with Jared Goff's strengths (play-action, short/intermediate throws) rather than downfield throws. Against man coverage, he's productive (2.56 yards per route run) but targets are inconsistent (19% targets per route run), making him higher-upside but less reliable than St. Brown.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection23:43

Taylor is experiencing a major fantasy resurgence after his bye week; the source notes that advance rates went up last week with Taylor on bye, indicating insufficient roster exposure to his upside. The source frames this as "Jonathan Taylor season" and "the wagon of the season," suggesting strong momentum heading forward. Taylor's role in the Colts' game plan is central—the team has been pass-heavy on first and 10 all season but may shift to lean on Taylor's rushing to slow down the Chiefs defense, especially given Daniel Jones's recent turnover issues (seven turnovers and 12 sacks over the last two games). Taylor is the lynchpin of the Colts' offensive script and the primary defensive target for Chiefs defensive coordinator Spags, who will attempt to shut him down as the number-one priority to break down the Colts' entire offense.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeInjury0:54

Josh Jacobs suffered an injury in Week 11 that caused the source to pivot off late-swap DFS decisions, despite having liked Jacobs heading into that week.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveProjection3:37

The source was bullish on Lamar Jackson heading into Week 11 but underestimated what the Ravens could accomplish when pushed, missing upside on a favorable game environment.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveValue0:40

The source identified Michael Wilson as the preferred Arizona pass-catcher in Week 11 DFS, recommending him over other Cardinals receivers in a game environment the source liked. The source had some Michael Wilson exposure in DFS but pivoted late due to Josh Jacobs injury concerns affecting late-swap decisions.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeMatchup27:40

Mahomes faces significant matchup challenges vs. Colts elite secondary in Week 12; he ranks 22nd in completion rate against man coverage and 27th in yards per attempt against man. Recent success rates have been poor: 13th percentile vs. Bills and 22nd percentile vs. Broncos. The source expresses concern about stop-start offensive rhythm against an elite secondary, especially if Colts employ heavy man coverage schemes. However, the Colts lack a good pass rush (especially without Forrest Buckner) compared to the Broncos and Bills, which could allow Mahomes to throw a bunch of completions to Rice and Kelce, similar to how Jacoby Brissett had high completion volume last week despite middling EPA per play. This completion-heavy game script should benefit Mahomes' fantasy output.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeMatchup30:04

Rice is the primary target earner for Mahomes with a 16% target rate and 29% targets per route run (vs. Worthy's 19%), indicating a strong connection and ability to get open. Against the Colts' weak pass rush and interior defense, Rice is positioned for a bounceback spot; the source expects him to benefit from Mahomes' increased completion volume and targets over the middle when first reads against Sauce Gardner or Ward are unavailable. Rice is sub-baseline in man coverage beating ability, but the Colts' defensive scheme and pass rush weakness mitigate that concern. The source believes Rice could approach double-digit targets in this matchup.

Insight page

Theo Johnson

PositiveProjection20:33

Johnson is touchdown-dependent and heavily reliant on quarterback Daniel Jones' target preference. The source notes he's playable in DFS and season-long formats, but only if you're comfortable with his volatility. He's had just one good game without a touchdown this season, meaning his fantasy value is almost entirely touchdown-driven. Without Jones looking for him consistently, the source has limited interest.

Insight page

Theo Riddick

NegativeRole21:22

Riddick's fantasy value is heavily dependent on Dart at QB; without Dart, the source has little interest in him. Riddick has three or fewer receptions in seven of his past nine games and has gone over 40 yards only twice this season. The source notes that Riddick's fantasy floor is low and he lives on touchdown scoring; he has had only one good game without a touchdown this season. In season-long leagues, Riddick is a week-to-week play dependent on scoring a touchdown.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveMatchup28:40

Chiefs TE remains a consistent target option vs Colts secondary; source notes that Kelce frequently finds himself completely uncovered because no one covers him anymore. Kelce is set up reasonably well against the Colts, who rank 31st in yards allowed to tight ends, 28th in receptions allowed per game, and 27th in yards per target. The source expects the Chiefs to attack the interior with Kelce and Rice over the middle when first reads against Sauce Gardner or Ward are unavailable. Kelce has shown recent juice with his highest YAC in the last month, though this is partly because he can no longer win downfield and is now operating on short routes. The source believes Kelce could approach double-digit targets in this matchup.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveProjection14:24

McBride has been elite since Week 6, ranking third in total fantasy points behind only Christian McCaffrey and Jonathan Taylor. The source emphasizes the simplicity of his upside: 'What if he catches touchdowns?' Everything has broken his way including favorable game scripts, quarterback change to Brett Hundley (who plays more under center and play action), and Marvin Harrison's injury/concussion absence.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveProjection37:55

Warren is positioned as a league-winner candidate with elite play-action metrics; he has 362 receiving yards off play-action this season (next closest TE at 190), 4.7 yards per route run on play-action vs. 1.13 on non-play-action, making him highly dependent on game script. His ceiling is maximized if the Colts stay in drop-back passing situations, particularly against the Chiefs' weak tight-end coverage (31st in yards per target to TEs despite facing third-fewest targets). The Chiefs' defensive game plan will attempt to slow down Warren and play-action stuff, but this is not the primary defensive focus, suggesting he could see favorable matchups if the Chiefs prioritize stopping Jonathan Taylor and the run game instead.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeMatchup5:43

Tracy was running well last week against the Packers, but faces severe game state headwinds against the Lions' elite run defense. The Lions' dominant play-action and man-coverage scheme will force the Giants into negative game script, limiting Tracy's opportunity even if the offense wants to run him.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveValue19:48

Robinson is a very viable DFS play this week. Last week he posted 100% route participation (his third time this season), 29% targets per route run (tying his season high), and 26% first-rate target rate (a season high). Despite only 1.16 yards per route run, the source expects him to be set up for a ton of targets and recommends considering him for both DFS and season-long lineups.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveMatchup28:28

Chiefs WR faces significant matchup challenge vs Colts secondary in Week 12; source highlights that Worthy is well below baseline rate in terms of beating man coverage and yards per route run. Colts secondary with Sauce Gardner and Trevarious Ward returning creates a tough outside matchup, especially if defensive coordinator Big Lou Anarumo employs heavy man coverage schemes (42% in Gardner's debut). Worthy's 14% target rate trails Rice's 16%, and his 19% targets per route run is significantly lower than Rice's 29%, indicating a weaker connection with Mahomes and limited upside in this matchup.

0:01Welcome to the Legendary Upside podcast and YouTube feed. My name is Pat Crarane. You can follow my content at legendary upside.com. With me today,
0:08Rich Reebar Reeves, how's it going?
0:10>> It's good, man. I'm waiting. I'm I'm I've been waiting all week for the surprise. So, uh, you know, let me let
0:15me know. You know, I'm like I'm I'm still as adult. I love getting presents and like stuff like I you know,
0:21Christmas time's coming. I love surprises.
0:24>> So, we're this will be a few games in I I'll uh I'll reveal the surprise. So, you know, a couple hours from now, uh,
0:31you you'll know, um, but we're going to be diving into, uh, the week 12 slate for our Angles and Upside podcast. Um, digging into the
0:41specifics of each game. Uh, I write the walkthrough over at Legendary Upside where I go game by game breaking down these games and Rich has the worksheet
0:51over at Sharp Football Analysis where he does the same thing, breaking down these games, looking at trends, trying to figure out which game environments we
0:58like, who's going to go off helpful for DFS season long, whatever you're doing.
1:03Uh, Reeves, anything to cover before we dive into the games?
1:07>> No. uh had my literally worst week of the season last week. So, I'm I'm ready to to to brush it off, man.
1:14>> How are you How are you when you like do like the walkthrough cuz you It's hard to explain to people like when you how
1:19much time this stuff actually takes and that's not looking for sympathy, but when you invest that much time and then you do bad like do you have do you have
1:28trouble bouncing back or you look forward to like I got to get back on the horse again?
1:32>> It depends. So, like last week I didn't have a great week. I had a bad week in DFS and there like I was I really liked
1:40in the walkthrough I really uh liked the Arizona stuff and my take was basically was like uh you know probably just play
1:47Michael Wilson not these other guys but I didn't really play that much Michael Wilson. I had some Michael Wilson actually um in DFS. I pivoted off of it
1:54late swap stuff because I I like Josh Jacobs a lot. Right. He got hurt.
1:57>> Yeah. Yeah.
1:58>> Um, so yeah, this week I I was kind of like not looking forward to to writing everything up, but then I had one of my
2:09most productive early parts of the week.
2:11Like I was just like things were actually cooking. So I was like, "Oh, this is nice." Cuz when you sit down to
2:16write it, you don't like know what's going to happen. No.
2:19>> And and you need you need like like a like a force needs to hit you where you're like, "Oh, I'm really writing
2:24some words right now." and like that then that'll fade and then you kind of like you still write it's just like much
2:30slower and then yeah all of a sudden it kicks in. You're like all right. So I had a few of those moments and I wonder
2:37>> if uh subconsciously it's because I had a a bad week in week 11 and uh and that was that was me getting back on the
2:43horse that way. So I don't know but yeah it depends on the week I guess.
2:47>> Yeah. Yeah. I I'm I'm like someone that's like conscious of like I hate like failing people like >> for sure. Um, and so like when I brick
2:54something or it's like it I don't really it's not the impact it had on me, it's like how it impacts everyone else and
2:59I'm just like I let all these people down. Like how am I even going to like come back to work the next day? Like
3:04>> yeah, the big one for me was I wasn't into the the the Bills stuff last week and I look I benched in a league that I
3:11needed a win. I benched Drake or benched Josh Allen for Drake May.
3:15>> Um so I I suffered the pain um that I that I caused as well. But then I do feel better that Josh Allen lost last
3:24night and didn't look good. So then they they lost to Davis Mills because I'm playing so conservatively and all. I'm like, "All right, well, I wasn't crazy,
3:32but the >> but I definitely underestimated, you know, what they could look like if pushed."
3:37>> Um, which, you know, was a was definitely an oversight. So, and I was into Lamar last week and I was into
3:43Mahomes last week. So, there was a few different things we missed on, but we hit on some stuff, too. Wasn't wasn't
3:48terrible. I just wish I played the stuff I was more like I wish I played more the Cardinals which we like. We both like
3:53that game environment a lot. So, >> um but yeah, hopefully we actually uh >> we find some good stuff and then we put
3:59it in our own lineups this week.
4:01>> That's that's the goal.
4:02>> That's the goal. Uh all right, let's let's kick things off with uh the Giants at Lions. This game I was really excited
4:10about when I thought Jackson Dart was going to play. Um >> he is not going to play. He did not clear the concussion protocol. We are
4:18back to Janus Winston. Winston played well last week. That wasn't really a big concern. And uh you know it was against
4:24the Packers. Tough matchup. They get a decent decently tough matchup this week.
4:29Although the Lions have some uh injuries on the back end in the secondary this week. So I would say it's a little bit
4:35little bit of an easier matchup than the Packers. Although both are good defenses.
4:40My concern is that do the Giants pass with Jameus Winston under center?
4:46Because last week they went very conservative. Um this is Mike Kfka's first game as the head coach and uh we we saw you know the first game with
4:56Jameus Winston under center and we've seen like Jameus Winston I've got the pass rates here. They dropped to 47% last week with a 64% expected pass rate.
5:06That's very very conservative and they were very conservative on first down minus 22% passer expected minus 17% overall.
5:15This could be just a Packers matchup thing. It could be them hiding Jamus Winston though and they're going to have Jamus Winston again. So that's the part
5:23that has me a little nervous. At the same time, they're going to be trailing in this game in all likelihood.
5:30>> Are they, you know, going to let Jamus uh loose a little bit against Alliance team? They'll be a lot more aggressive
5:36than the Packers, right? They're not be able to hang around like they were against the Packers. So, it's it's a thinner setup now for this game because
5:44you don't know what the Giants are are going to bring to the table with Jamus, how aggressive they'll be. But, Jameus
5:51did play well last week. You you do have some interesting options on the Giants side, you know, particularly Wel Robinson who can kind of rack up catches
5:58in negative game script. And the Lions, I mean, they have a huge game total or team total uh imply team total uh of
6:0630.25 when I wrote it up thinking that it was going to be uh Dart and it's up to 31.25 now. So, it's not like anyone's losing
6:15faith in the Lions ability to score points here. Uh just might be maybe tilted more to the running game than the
6:20than the passing game that it might have been. I don't know. What are what are your thoughts on this game?
6:25Yeah, when I kind of came away with the the pass rate uh below expectation stuff, I didn't know if it was just a
6:30hodge podge of like the wind uh they were having success or Jameus Winston because Jameus, while he still played well, he saw the highest turnover worthy
6:39throw rate for anybody that played the whole game last week. If you watch that game, the Packers could had four interceptions at minimum
6:45>> and they they did squeeze one at the end, but I mean I think Valentine had two. It was just like he he read the
6:50play perfectly and just didn't catch the ball. Uh, so I thought it was just a combination of things, but did ultimately still come away. Well, I
6:56pulled out Dart this morning. I up until today thought was Dart still was gonna play and then this morning kind of made
7:02made the adjustments. I was excited for Dart, too, >> uh, in this game because there was a lot of give a lot of ways to play through
7:08this game where you could have done like dart plus Lion stuff and any of the games Darts played like they found their
7:13way to points too. um even though they would like c like it wouldn't be like completely even like they are a great
7:18first drive team and they were a good first drive team with Jamus last week too but then they go a couple drives so
7:23they can't score and then also Tyrone Tracy was running well last week too so that was just like a combination of
7:28things but here >> the Packers are the Packers are a team that that opponents are running against um at a pretty a pretty high rate. So,
7:38um, that >> and they play slow, too, which is like allows you to kind of like just keep the game close against the Packers. They
7:45they play a lot closer games than they should for their >> They play way closer game because they're too conservative on offense that
7:50let teams hang around. But the last three opponent, the Panthers had a 43% pass rate, minus 15% POE. The Eagles were at 50% - 11% proe. And then the
8:00Giants 47% - 17%. So the Packers have a pretty good pass defense. People aren't respecting the run defense and I don't
8:09think they're respecting the offense in the sense that the offense isn't fully unleashed. So you can just kind of stick around, hang around in one score games
8:16and and win those games, >> right? Two or three of those teams won the game against the Packers.
8:21>> Well, just if you're the worst team like you like the Panthers and Browns beat him because you just let the if the
8:26variant swings in your favor.
8:28>> Exactly.
8:30>> Exactly. So, so it could be uh the type of thing that looks like very much like a matchup related issue and they do air
8:37it out this week, but it it's something to consider when you think of the game.
8:40>> Yeah, I I think they'll ultimately just be pressed because the Lions, you know, obviously Lions at home like never sneak
8:46up on anyone. And then what the Lions do offensively are like all the things the Giants are bad at defensively. Like
8:54they're they're ter they're the they're the worst.
8:56>> They're the worst run defense >> in terms of EPA. Uh, so they're bad at that. They're and they're also just
9:01terrible against like the play action under center game because they play so much man they play aggressive defense.
9:06They play like hyperaggressive defense, play a lot of man coverage.
9:10>> Uh, so it's just like that's what the Lions do under center play action run the football. So it's like everything
9:14the Lions want to do, they're just going to be able to do and it's going to push the Giants into this game state where
9:19even if they want to run Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singleary, they're just not going to uh be able to. and they're
9:25going to have to eventually let Winston drop back a lot.
9:29>> I think you're right and I and I hope you're right because >> the thing like obviously we'll get to the run game on the Lions side because
9:35they're set up very well here, but the part that I'm most excited about is actually the play action stuff and the
9:40man coverage stuff where you get St.
9:42Brown.
9:43>> He had a 41% double coverage rate uh that he faced against the Eagles, the second highest of the season. And the
9:50highest of the season was against the Packers at 45%. Uh he had a 1.07 yards per route run against the Packers, 1.14
9:57against the Eagles. You know, taking St.
10:00Brown away is is possible if you try hard enough and is pretty effective, right? The the offense Detroit offense does not work nearly as well if G
10:09doesn't have that safety blanket. But I don't think that the the Giants are going to be able to do that. I'm not
10:14even sure they try because they don't play a ton of they don't double cover a lot. They also play man coverage at the
10:20second highest rate in the league behind only the Browns and against >> static too. They're not one of these teams that like oscillate week to week.
10:28>> Yeah, I mean they're not I don't think this DC's here next year, right?
10:35Uh St. Brown had uh a targets per out run against man of 40.5% which is the highest in the NFL. CD
10:42Lamb, AJ Brown, Puka Nua are the next three. Um but CD Lamb's like 4% lower 36%. So, he's just getting peppered with
10:50targets against man. I I think he's he's set up for a huge game here if the Lions get pushed at all. Uh Jameson Williams
10:59has been productive against man coverage, 2.56 yards per out run, but just a 19% targets per out run. So, same story with him. It's like the targets
11:06are tougher to count on. He looks fun anytime he gets targeted, but he doesn't earn targets as that well. So, you know,
11:12Williams to me is like a higher upside version of the the same type of play he he always is. But Brock Wright last week
11:20had 64% route participation. So he didn't even run all the routes.
11:23>> 16% targets per out run, which is not horrible, but not good. And 0.32 yards per out run. So Leaporta being pulled
11:31out of this offense looks to really be condensing things. Khalif Raymond had 56% round participation, wasn't targeted. Tesla had 44%, had one target,
11:40didn't catch it. So this does seem to be condensing to St. Brown and Williams.
11:45and an awesome matchup for the passing game. Um, as long as they need to pass at all. First half here, maybe some
11:52first half overs. I haven't checked any of these lines, but you could you could do worse than first half Lions passing
11:58game overs.
11:59>> Um, thoughts thoughts on the passing game.
12:02>> Yeah, love all this stuff. I mean, Aman Raw, the man coverage stuff is great. We love I mean, he has 46% of the team
12:08targets in the red zone, too. So, he always has that touchdown equity, especially when you move a guy from Laorta uh from the red zone. It's it's a
12:14nice big boost for him. He's been awesome in every home game, too. It's everything s you know, we don't need you
12:20don't really need us to tell you like I'm on RA's a good play. It's just all this icing on the cake stuff. Uh is in
12:24his favor this week in terms of matchup.
12:25I think it's it's where everything was a negative last week kind of going into the Eagles game. Everything is just like
12:30extra here, extra juicy. And then you love the play action stuff probably for this game for the opportunity that Jameson Williams is getting now. And it
12:39goes back just beyond just the Dan Campbell uh change over in terms of play calling. We had seen a little bit of
12:44this before, but uh the he now uh over the past five weeks uh 28% of his targets have come on crossing routes,
12:5221% on in in routes. And then over the opening f uh five weeks of the season, it was 14% target rate on crossers, 12%
12:59on inbreing routes. He goes from a 20.8 a dot down to a 9.7 A dot. So, it's like, you know, he was just being forced
13:07to live on a diet of targets that just isn't like gonna be successful in today's NFL anyways. And Jared Goff isn't even like that great on throwing
13:15those downfield throws anyways. So, now he's getting all the stuff Jared Goff's good at. He's getting it off play action because all that inbreaking stuff is now
13:22where you're sucking the linebacker up and you're hitting him on those digs and stuff. So, we like that. If it's a man
13:27coverage because if he catches one of those, you saw like last week, you can't keep up with him across the field. So
13:33yeah, wheels up on those guys. I think the core guys are are all in play. Brock writes like a break glass in emergency
13:40case if you need him and it's very thin.
13:42Like we just haven't really seen him be a good player going back to Florida. Go ahead.
13:46>> I'm not even sure like for DFS he's really that interesting. I mean he certainly could do it with golf but
13:52>> he's just a punt.
13:53>> He's just a punt and he's not I mean I don't want to like quibble too much with the with the price but you know he's
14:00he's 3,000. I'm like, "Hey, like that's a little expensive for Brock, right Wright, isn't it? I want 27, you know?"
14:10>> Yeah. 25.
14:12>> Yeah, 25. I mean, I really want 25, but I would do 27, but it's just like ah, what am I I mean, we'll talk about the
14:17other tight ends, but there's some like cheap tight ends this week that I feel better about. Um, >> and if you're even and if you're even
14:24punting him, if you're even punting him, like you're outright either doing it just because you want to squeeze McBride in or if you're not playing McBride and
14:33then you're just like, "All right, well then what's the rest of your roster look like?" Uh, you know, McBride since week
14:40six, only Christian McCaffrey and Jonathan Taylor scored more points than Trey McBride. So, it's like, you know, >> so what if he catches touchdowns? Uh, it
14:49was actually pretty pretty good. It was that it really was that simple for Trey McBride this summer. What if he catches
14:54touchdowns?
14:54>> And well, everything's broke his way, right? Like you know the they're playing in like these crazy game scripts now. Uh
15:00because they're they're tra in like these oh [ __ ] game phases as Hy always calls them. Like they're they're just
15:05been they've been getting blown out. So he's getting all these late game targets. You had the change over at quarterback to not because it's not just
15:12like you favor Brassette versus Kyler.
15:14It's because when Brett's in the game, they play more under center and play more play action which helps McBride.
15:18Uh, and then Marvin Harrison's like missed not just these la uh the uh last week's game and he's gonna miss this
15:25week's game, but like he left the game early with a concussion. Like everything's just everything just worked out like perfect. Like a perfect storm.
15:32>> We We'll get to him. It's he's he's very >> I'm saying like that's if you're playing Brock Wright and you're punting, it
15:36means you're foregoing like a really good tight end this week. Yeah. It's just like either or you're punting to squeeze in McBride. Like I just don't He
15:44doesn't really just fit.
15:45>> No, he doesn't. Um the the Lions running backs are set up here extremely well.
15:53David Montgomery, there was a there's a quote that Dan Campbell wanted to get Montgomery more involved. Um he also had a line that he he wanted to even the
16:01backfield out uh back about a month ago.
16:04That was after the Chiefs game when Montgomery fell to 17% of the carries.
16:08He fell to 29% against the Eagles. I believe I believe Campbell here. I think he wants to even things back out, but I
16:16think he actually wants to even things back out. I don't think he wants Montgomery to be like the lead back.
16:21>> Um, two weeks ago, >> yep, things were exactly even. We had a 45% carry share for Montgomery and Gibbs. Gibbs nuked against the
16:30Commanders with 15 carries. He also had a 13% target share. So, I'm not worried about the idea. It's not ideal. I wish
16:38they would just feed Gibbs, you know, 30 touches. That would be awesome. But, you know, it's not the play. The play is
16:44that he's super efficient. He's going against the worst run defense in the league. He's going to have like 15 plus touches, I would say. Uh Montgomery is
16:51also going to have, you know, somewhere between 10 and 17 touches, right? Like he's they're going to they're going to feed these guys. They're going to be
16:58ahead. They have a massive implied team total. Um I think both these guys are in play for for DFS. I mean, obviously
17:05Gibbs is very much in play, but but Montgomery has some some pretty good touchdown equity here, I'd say. And I I
17:12don't think I don't think uh Campbell is BSing here. I think he he does want to get Montgomery more touches than he had
17:18against the Eagles, which should be easy enough in this matchup. So, uh like flexing David Montgomery in season long.
17:25I I think this is this is the week to do it if that's something you you do sometimes.
17:29>> Oh, yeah. I think this would be the kind of game script. You still need the tuds from him because we even saw that that
17:35uh >> game against Washington. I mean, he had 16 touches in that game, >> but you only got >> 71 yards on the ground. No touchdown.
17:42>> You got hollow hollow production.
17:44>> Uh what I really like from the last two weeks though from Campbell because I I totally with you like cuz I think it'll
17:50be like closer to 50/50 or like how it was last year. Uh while both guys are healthy, but I really like that Campbell
17:55has gotten Gibbs involved in the screen game again.
17:58>> Both games. Both games we've seen Gibbs in space in the screen game. Seems pretty obvious that you'd want to do
18:04this a couple at least once per quarter.
18:06I'd call it Junior Gibbs screen because the dude is so good in space last week uh both games. So, I like that too
18:13because Gibbs early in the season had like really weird receiving usage like where you just it wasn't consistent. He wasn't getting like a lot of those in
18:21space targets. It was more like checkown stuff.
18:23>> Check downs. And the Packers had a ton of checkdowns but wasn't >> Yeah.
18:27>> Yeah. We want those in space the designed plays to him where you know because they sometimes run even like that uh it's not like a like a pure
18:34screen but they get it where pen soul's out in front and they get him on like that swing and like that's what we want.
18:39Those are the plays we want. Jir Gibson >> we've seen Campbell experiment with who's calling plays. What if they bring in Rico Dowel and he calls the plays?
18:47>> Yeah, that's what we need. Yeah, >> he's he's the screen the screen game king. He knows exactly when to call him.
18:52>> I love it. Listen to your >> for people who don't know that the Josh Norris tweeted out a uh a clip from uh
18:58Rico D miked up which Dow called his own number on that screen pass that he almost scored on and stepped out of
19:04bounds. It's a very very fun clip.
19:07>> Um but yeah, this is a great spot to I mean the Giant, you know, the run defense is kind of the the headline
19:15here, but they're not good against the pass either. Um, so >> get get Gibbs involved however you want.
19:23Uh, on the Giants side, just as far as the weapons go, I'm not that into the running backs. And if I break a tie to
19:32Tracy here because he's more involved as a receiver, but he has 0.98 yards per out run. He's not like Scatteroo was at
19:381.54. He had a 22% targets per out run.
19:41He was he was pretty exciting as a receiver. Tracy's kind of just like filling the role. Um I don't have a ton
19:48of interest in him. Wanddale is kind of the guy where uh last week he had a 100% rout participation which he's had three
19:56different times this year. Uh Alson's Neighbors was hurt and um he had a 29% targets per out run which which ties his
20:05season high. He had a 26% first rate target rate which is a season high. So the production wasn't there but um just
20:111.16 yards per run but he's set up for a ton of targets here. like a ton of targets. So, I think he's a very viable
20:18DFS play. Someone I want to think about if I'm if I'm doing line stuff for sure.
20:22Um I mean, Jameus is pretty cheap, too.
20:25So, you could it there are crazier things. Not not a priority by any means, but yeah, that he's kind of interesting
20:33here to me. Um and then Theo Johnson always in play for for a touchdown, I guess.
20:38>> Yeah. Uh Wando has at least 25% of the team targets in six of the past eight games. you know, you always just always
20:44with him is just like, you know, how much ceiling are you going to squeeze out of him?
20:47>> Um, but the targets are consistently there for him.
20:51>> He'd be the one guy I would say at least like, you know, at least he's going to get the targets. Then you just let the
20:56the fantasy deities take over the wheel and it's like, hey, maybe maybe they're going to be something here >> in this game. They're going to have to
21:01throw. It's indoors. If you're looking to to bring anyone back, I think it would be him. We don't know if Sllayton's going to play yet. I didn't
21:08see this morning if they ruled him out or not. uh they didn't use Isaiah Hajins. Uh brought him back and used him
21:14last week. I don't know if that's just a one-off because a couple weeks ago, remember they had the Ray Ray Mloud
21:18thing and then that was completely moot and didn't mean anything going forward.
21:22So, I think it just pretty much be uh in season long. I think you're fine playing Theo probably in DFS. I'm just not going
21:28to get there because we're going to talk about all these tight ends and it's just like and then you have you have the big
21:33McBride, you know, question. So, um, >> also like Theo seemed, it seems to me that that Dart has really been looking
21:39for him as like without Dart, I don't have a lot of interest in Theo. Uh, so yeah, I think it's kind of Wale.
21:46>> Yeah, he'd be the only guy in defense.
21:48Like I said, if you if you have to play Theo in your season long stuff, I think it you hope you like you always week
21:52week to week with him, you just hope he scores a touchdown. That's like where he lives. Uh, he's had like really one good
21:57game without a touchdown uh this season.
22:00Uh, that's that's really it. I mean, he has three or fewer receptions in seven of his past nine games. He's gone over
22:0540 yards twice. You need those touchdowns.
22:07>> Yep. Um All right, let's go let's go to the Colts at Chiefs. Um and in honor of
22:17the Colts who kicked this off in the in the first place, we're going to we're going to label them our wagon of the
22:23week.
22:24>> This is our wagon, baby. The wagon of the week.
22:26>> The team's just rolling right now. This team is just they're a wagon. Yeah, they are [ __ ] wagon. We're to a nice old
22:32picnic. Load that wagon up. Like we're whatever you need to put in that wagon.
22:36>> They're a wagon.
22:37>> Yeah, this is our wagon of the week, baby. What does wagon mean?
22:44>> I love it. What a click. Getting that Listen, getting that Getting that C hat in there is is important.
22:51>> Yeah, the C hat is pretty pretty good. I was very thankful you had that on today as well.
22:59always.
23:00>> Oh, I love it, man. That I assume that was that was the gift, right? That was a surprise.
23:03>> That was Yeah, that that would >> Yeah, I love it.
23:06>> Surprise. That's a surprise. Um the Colts I don't even I don't even know if they really are the wagon of the week,
23:13but like the Colts are the original wagon. So, started it >> had to get had to kick them off >> as the wagon of the week. Um, the Lions
23:21could be the wagon of the week, but to me, a wagon, right, you need to be rolling. And the the Lions are more of a
23:28bounceback team. So, I think the Colts, >> okay, >> uh, probably fit the definition a little bit more. And they're rolling into uh
23:35the Chiefs here who are struggling and you get the the Colts with a difficult matchup. Um, but they're coming off, you
23:43know, the big overtime win over the Falcons and Jonathan Taylor. I mean, maybe the wagon of the week isn't the Colts, it's Jonathan Taylor
23:52season. The wagon of the season. Talk about a dude that's win a wagon like fantasy gamers. But he him on buy last
23:59week. If you faced the faced against the team that had him, you were like, "Yes."
24:04>> Yes.
24:05>> It's crazy. Yeah. Uh my advance rates went up last week with with Jonathan Taylor on by. Tells you I don't have
24:12enough Taylor. Um >> Oh, yeah. Big regrets. that pocket of Chase Brown and Bucky Irving over Jonathan Taylor.
24:20>> Yeah, Bucky. I loved Bucky. That's that's And I love McBride, so that's that's been uh that hurts a little less
24:26now. But Taylor, >> I was never anti-Taylor. I just did not me this. I didn't picture this Daniel Daniel Jones doing this.
24:33>> I didn't either. Um but we are starting to see a little bit of chinks in the armor here. Daniel Jones has started
24:40turning the ball over a little bit. Took some sacks.
24:42>> Um he was bad against the Steelers. he was kind of inconsistent uh or he wasn't bad enough to tank them
24:49completely against the the Falcons.
24:51>> Um but this is a pretty tough matchup I would say. Not not like uh really tough, but what are your thoughts on the Chiefs
24:59defense and and their ability to slow down the wagon of the week?
25:03>> Yeah, I mean you I think that just on the surface you have to have some trepidation of Daniel Jones in Arrowhead
25:10against Steve Spagnolo. like just those sentences like those words combined don't make me feel warm. Uh and then you then you talk about that was if he was
25:20running hot and like the last two games we started to see a little bit of that you know seven turnovers and 12 sacks
25:26the last two games like you don't like I said you just don't feel that great and the weird thing about this so this is what I think
25:32makes this game so fascinating is all season long the Indianapolis Colts have been a team that throw to get ahead and
25:40then they just run you into the ground at Jonathan Taylor.
25:43>> Yeah. Is that how they're going to approach going on the road to the Chiefs? Are they going to try to throw
25:48on the Chiefs to get ahead or are they going to now say are they going to flip and say, "Hey, our quarter's not playing
25:53his best football going into this game.
25:55We have Jonathan Taylor. Do we want to try to slow the Chiefs down with Jonathan Taylor?" It's just and I don't
25:59have the answer. I'm just, you know, walking through like things that, you know, that could go on here. But it's like I don't know if they really want to
26:05come out and just try to wing the ball around against the Chiefs. And then that that that's an interesting dynamic because then if if they don't and
26:13they're not successful like what happens? It's it's like we just haven't seen them play that way right now. So it's that's what I think is most
26:19interesting about this uh game.
26:21>> So we have seen them they were really they've been aggressively pass first on or pass heavy on first and 10
26:28>> pretty much all year.
26:29>> And then the Atlanta game. Yeah.
26:31>> And then the Atlanta game they pivoted to the run overall as well. So, they had a a season low minus 6% proe. Um, and
26:39that's after they they kind of had to lean on the pass uh against the Steelers in a way that they like definitely don't
26:46want to, right? They no >> Taylor did not get going against Pittsburgh and they they had to put the game on Daniel Jones's shoulders. He got
26:54exposed. Like that's that's the nightmare scenario. And then the >> if you get if you get them >> I'm sorry. Yeah. if you get them out of
27:01their play action game, that's when, >> right, >> everything starts to fall apart here, >> right? So, the following week they they
27:07really prioritized the run more. Um, and it wasn't great uh as far as Jones goes, but you know, they they they won the
27:15game at least. So, I I also have that same question of like what do the Colts look like this week? The Chiefs aren't
27:24like a shutdown run defense, but they're not an easy team to run against. Then again, you have Jonathan Taylor, so maybe they are
27:31>> maybe they are for the Colts.
27:33>> Um, so yeah. I mean, then on the other side of this game, I have questions about what the Chiefs are going to do.
27:40Like Trevarious Ward looks like he's going to return for this game. He's been practicing in full. Um, we don't know for sure with the concussion until we
27:50till we get the the word, but it does seem like he's returning. He's been awesome this year. Um he's he's an
27:58impact player uh especially with Sauce Gardner. Like to have S Gardner and Ward together on the outside like that is just that's tough. That's a really tough
28:08matchup for the Chiefs especially for Xavier Worthy. Their ability they've been doing this stuff where they're like chucking it downfield. Mahomes looks
28:15really off. They he's nowhere near these receivers but that issue like the outside ability to kind of challenge deep is is going to be worse this week
28:24if anything. And I think Rasheed Rice could be okay. He's probably going to get some Kenny Moore in the slot. Um I
28:30think there's going to be a decent amount of like second third read type stuff or M, you know, the the pass rush
28:35here isn't great. Mahomes should have time to throw. He's kind of looking around, you know, doing doing the thing where he like somehow get able to go
28:42around look at the other side of the field, you know, uh find Travis Kelce uh completely uncovered because no one covers him anymore. And
28:50>> you know, I think we're going to have plenty of that. But I I the success rate for the Chiefs recently has been way
28:56down. Uh 13th percentile against the the Bills, 22nd percentile against uh the Broncos. And my concern would be just kind of that same sort of stop start
29:07type of thing that we've seen with the Chiefs recently against an elite secondary if Ward's back. So like I have questions about what both offenses look
29:17like here um given kind of the challenges of this matchup.
29:22Yeah, I'm excited to see what Big Lou does, too. You know, Big Lou's always had something for Momes when those Bengals teams always played him pretty
29:28tough, even when they didn't have the best defenses. He in previous iterations would do a lot like what Shawn McDermott did a couple weeks ago where, you know,
29:35we're not going to really rush. We're going to drop a lot of guys in coverage.
29:38We want you to hold the football. But we saw in their first game with S Gardner, and he was only with the team less than
29:44a week. They played their highest rate of man coverage in a game this season.
29:48Uh just they were at 42%. Now you're getting Charvarius Ward back, another good press man corner. So I wonder if he's going looking at the Chiefs and
29:55their issues top down and wondering if we're going to see a lot more man coverage, you know, coming out of the
30:00buy. I mean, Mahomes is 22nd in completion rate against man coverage.
30:04He's 27th in yards pass attempt. Um, and you look at the Chiefs receivers and Matt Harmon just wrote an article about
30:11this today and the Chiefs did and we and we saw this be a problem last night with uh the Buffalo Bills against the Houston
30:17Texans.
30:18They they built these two rosters out of like all these zone bidding wide receivers on the strength of like, hey, no one's really going to press our
30:25quarterbacks and our quarterbacks will win. But then like now teams have like really started to challenge them or they've been in moments where teams have
30:31to challenge them. And you start to see some of the flaws uh that they don't have these guys that can get open
30:36against man coverage and really uncover against man coverage. uh that you know Xavier Worthy, Rashid Rice, like these guys are all like really sub below base
30:45rate in terms of beating man coverage in terms of like yards per run and it it's going to be interesting to see how this
30:51plays out for I'm very very this is a like a real football game chess match that like I like I don't have a great
30:56feel for like how it's going to play. I will say one thing here I think it gives the Chiefs me a little more confidence
31:01in the previous two weeks >> is the Colts don't have a good pass rush and without the forest Buckner it's a
31:07little worse whereas the two teams that Mahomes just faced obviously Broncos bring a lot of heat and then the Bills got a lot of heat because
31:15>> they the Matt Naggie's game plan was to try to throw the ball 20 yards downfield against umbrella coverage. I think the
31:20Chiefs will be in a better spot to combat that this week because the pass rush won't be as good as it's been the
31:26past two weeks in their matchups.
31:29>> Yeah, I I agree. And I think that in some ways this could be a bounceback spot for the Chiefs in that we mostly
31:37care about Rasheed Rice. And I don't think this is a terrible spot for him.
31:41>> No, >> he earns targets. Like he's he's the guy that you look at first target rate, he's at 16%, worthy's at 14. 16% is not
31:50particularly high and it's obviously not much higher than Worthy, but he has a 29% targets per out run to Worthy's 19%.
31:58Like he's the guy who actually has the connection with Mahomes who can get open. Uh you know, Wory's covered on the
32:06first read, Bryce gets the target type of stuff. And uh I think that this is one of those games where you know if the
32:12first read is against Sauce Gardner or Ward then maybe that ends up being a Rice target over the middle of the field
32:17or a Kelsey target. I think Kelsey is set up reasonably well here uh you know under the same logic and then you know
32:25if you have Mahomes getting a bunch of you know throwing a bunch and completing a bunch of passes to Kelsey and Rice
32:32like that's that's pretty good that's pretty good for fantasy. So, I don't want to compare Patrick Mahomes to Jacobe Brassette, but but maybe that's
32:40the type of thing we're looking at where it's like a lot of completions. You know, the efficiency last week, Jacobe Brassette was like kind of middling in
32:47in EPA per play and stuff, but he had a ton of completions and they were to the guys that, you know, were in lineups.
32:54So, I could see from a fantasy point of view, the Chiefs offense bouncing back here pretty nicely. I don't have a ton
33:01of faith in Worthy, but Rice, Kelsey, Mahomes, I think will be okay.
33:06>> Yeah, I Yeah, I I like that that inter I think they're going to attack the interior because if they're going to
33:11have Ward and Sauce and even if they don't really play a lot of press, like those guys aren't probably going to be
33:16moving around a lot, too. And I think the Chiefs just Rashi Rice, Travis Kelce stuff over the middle. Colts have been
33:22pretty bad against tight ends, too. Uh they've only faced two good ones and both had good games. Um but they are
33:2831st in yards allowed the tight ends. Uh they're 28th in receptions allowed per game, 27th in yards are target. Kelsey's shown a little juice these last like the
33:36last month too.
33:37>> Um he's up to like his highest Yak and I was talking to Davis about that too, but like part of that is because like he
33:43can't win downfield anymore. So like the Yak has to be there. Uh he's not catching >> the coverage is not what it was either.
33:48>> Yeah. But he's also like you know you're not getting like any intermix like Kelsey the seam shots anymore. It's like
33:54all like it's all short stuff. It's it's all short stuff now. So that that's why I also think the Yak is higher because
34:00of that.
34:01>> But I do think that that's set up here.
34:03I think this matchup is I could see honestly like both of those two guys like like approaching like double like double digit targets though.
34:11>> Um >> agree >> in this matchup. So and they're not going to run the ball because they don't like they don't care. Like it's it's so
34:18this team's going to have to re have a real self-evaluation I think though after this season. They need to get a
34:22guy who can win one-on-one at wide receiver. Doesn't need anything set up for him. And I think they're gonna have to and they did, I guess, in all
34:29theories try to get Bree Hall, you know, for whatever, but like they're gonna have to because they need a counter.
34:35They have to have a counter punch.
34:38>> They really do. I think I mean, Bruce Hall's hopefully not going to get franchise. Don't franchise tag Bruce Hall Jets, please.
34:44>> Well, you got Kenneth Walker. What if they'll get Shawn Tucker? There's a lot of dudes like they they just have to get
34:49something.
34:50>> Oh, Tucker would be fun. Um, yeah. Yeah, I'm I'm hoping it's Bree. I don't even have that much priest in dynasty. I just
34:57like Bree Hall. So >> yeah. Um >> Kenneth Walker to me would be fun too cuz you're just talking about just a
35:01dude that can get explosives in this offense. That's like just the threat of that it would be and that's Bree too.
35:06Bree's explosives. Uh >> Bree's explosives and receiving game.
35:09Um, yeah, I >> because we know Andy wants to Andy's going to throw throw throw, but like if you give him an actual running back that
35:16could contribute like man, the last dude they even had that was even good in both assets, you know, besides like Prime
35:23Cream Hunt because this version is not the same was freaking Damen Williams, man. Like, >> yeah, I mean, um, they have I guess
35:32Daryl Daryl Williams had his moments, but yeah, Damen was was definitely better. Uh, do you have I mean, people have have done this stuff. There there
35:41was a point at which we would we talk about Andy Reid running backs being like huge fantasy assets. Like Andy Reid
35:48passes, but his running back score points. You know, you had Lehan McCoy, Westbrook.
35:53>> Yeah, we we could there's a there's a world where we do have production out of the uh the backfield, but they just
35:59don't have the guy right now. They're using Kareem Hunt. Kareem Hunt has a really good success rate. If you look at
36:04the the Chiefs rushing, um they look like a good running team. Like if if you look at, you know, a lot of the metrics
36:11that that I referenced, they look pretty good. This looks like, oh, look, the Chiefs, they're fourth in rushing DVOA, fifth in EPA per rush.
36:19>> They just bring him into they bring him in on third and one and he gets the first down and it jacks the EPA up.
36:24>> Jacks the EPA up. Yeah, there's no juice. And and the other thing is Mahomes scrambles, so they so they're getting uh they're getting good numbers
36:31with that, but like there's not they don't have the ability to really attack uh with the run. The Bills game was two
36:38weeks ago was like the way McDerman played that game. That was where they should have just bit their lip and handed it off to Kareem Hunt literally
36:4320 20 times. They're like, "Nah, that's not what we do.
36:46>> It's not what we do." Yeah. Um and you know what they actually did? They pivoted to the run in that game. Um
36:51compared to But they still passed 66% of the time. They didn't they didn't go hard and then they go right back to the
36:57pass last week. 80% pass rate. Um 17% above expected. So the we we know what the Chiefs are going to do. like even
37:06with the passing game struggling, they're going to pass the ball here. Um on the Colts side, it's kind of a question of like
37:15do they do they just lean on Taylor? Do they um do they lean on the passing game? Do they go go to more 11
37:22personnel? Do we see more Josh Downs like we saw against the Steelers and against the the Rams when they were, you
37:28know, kind of in the one-dimensional mode? Um they probably want to avoid that as much as possible. Um, I think the other than Taylor who's, you know,
37:38>> he's like 10,000 in on DraftKings, so he's almost I'm not probably doing that, but uh, you know, he's having such a
37:45good season, there's there's worse plays. Um, but Tyler Warren is the guy I think set up the best year where regardless unless they just get like
37:55waxed here by the Chiefs. That's the thing. Like the this all starts like this is the Colts the the start of this
38:02game matters way more for the Colts than it probably does the Chiefs.
38:05>> The Chiefs are going to do what they do.
38:07Like the Chiefs are >> Yeah. But I agree with you. Uh go on.
38:12Sorry.
38:12>> Oh no. Yeah. Because that's like Warren Warren's whole game this year and we saw like it against the Steelers like when
38:18you get them out of the RPO play action stuff the threat of that and they just have to be a drop back passing team like
38:24he takes the biggest hit >> because that's what his whole game is is about. I mean he has the most receiving
38:31yards off play action this season for tight ends. He's 362. The next closest guy is at 190.
38:36>> Wow.
38:36>> Um he just 4.7 yards per out run on play action. That's the tight end too. 1.13 yards per out run on nonplaya action
38:43passes the tight end 27. Uh so like he he's like the start of this game is pivotal for him. Uh like he's he's
38:51probably like the lynch pin of like what type of script the Colts are in.
38:56>> Yeah.
38:58And I the thing I like about him here is that he is like his usage matches what the Colts would like to be doing
39:05>> and what they're and what they're probably preparing to do. So, it could get away from them. Um, >> and the the Chiefs top down metrics look
39:14good against tight ends, but they they face the third fewest targets to tight end, but they're actually 31st in yards per target to tight ends. And they've
39:20only faced two good tight ends the whole season. Leaporta and Concade. And both of those guys were well, Concade had 100
39:27yards and a touchdown. Leaporta had 55 in a touchdown. So, it's like they haven't really been challenged either.
39:31So, the seasonl long stuff isn't really telling the truth.
39:35>> Where you at on the on the receivers? Um cuz I noted in the walkthrough that Alec Pierce's usage recently has been like
39:43really good.
39:44>> Yeah, real solid. Oh, I be prepared for Alec Pierce to get like like 18 to 20 million a year, guys. Like it's
39:50happening like this off season.
39:52>> It's definitely happening. And when you talked about the Chiefs bringing in a guy who can get open on his own, they're
39:57going to bring it out Pearson.
40:03>> I mean, this is a team that, you know, and a bunch of teams. What's funny is both the Bills and the Chiefs could have
40:08had Lad Manakey. Like put him on either one of those rosters right now.
40:12>> Well, I do. You know how often I think about him being on the Patriots.
40:16>> Yeah. Oh, yeah. Jaylen Pulk. Jesus.
40:18>> Come on.
40:19>> No. I actually forgot Jaylen Pulk was a player.
40:22>> They traded off that pick. Like they were like, "Oh, should we take Lad Manunky?" No, let's trade it and take
40:27Jaylen Pulk and I think they got the pick that they took uh what's his name with the other receiver that Javon
40:32Baker.
40:32>> Yeah, Javon Baker.
40:33>> It was a disaster. They could have >> both of those guys >> fun with me.
40:38>> Yeah, they just you just need guys that get open. Um >> Yeah.
40:42>> Yeah. It all just depends on what we get. So, this is I always try to caution whenever we talk about like uh you know,
40:48coverage stuff and defensive tendencies because if the team's not static, like sometimes people like, well, this guy's good against too high or this guy's not.
40:56And it's like, well, yeah, but what if they don't run that this week? And Spags is one of those guys that like it's not
41:00completely always static. Um but so you know if they get a lot of two high stuff it that obviously doesn't favor Alec
41:07Pierce. It favors Michael Pitman. If they get more single high and Spags is like dude I'm gonna I'm coming at Daniel
41:13Jones that favors Alec Pierce like those. So it's like you kind of kind of try to predict what you think they're
41:18going to do. I would think that Spags if I was coaching this game and trying to be in his shoes like he he's trying to
41:26bring guys up and shut down Jonathan Taylor.
41:29>> That's what I think too. And then that might allow for more single high stuff and then Alec Pierce maybe can do some
41:35of that. But you have to do some guesswork on that. I wouldn't lean into uh just what like the the Chiefs run
41:40this to this they've run this x amount to the state. I think it's going to be probably more I Spags is more of a game
41:46plan guy but the game plan obviously like if you want to beat the Colts the number one thing is is try to slow down Jonathan
41:54Taylor because then everything else sort of starts to break down a little bit.
41:57So, I I think I mean he's a really good DC. I would think that's the way he would go. You know, it's obviously hard
42:05to do. Um but and maybe he's got another trick up his sleeve that that won't favor Alec Pierce, but I kind of like
42:12Alec Pierce here is uh you know it the other thing is that I pretty sure that the game plan won't revolve around taking away Alec
42:20Pierce. You know, it might right might be more of like we're not going to let you do this RPO stuff with Pitman. you
42:26know, we're not gonna we're gonna try to try to slow down Tyler Warren and this play action stuff, right? But it's not
42:31going to be about Alec Pierce. So, I do he'll be in one-on-one coverage, I think, uh, you know, at a decent at a
42:37decent clip.
42:39>> And they're good, too. I mean, they're good on the outside. I That's the Chiefs have been a really good defense kind of
42:45all year anyways. It's kind of what has kept them around some of these spots.
42:48>> Yeah, they have.
42:49>> Uh, well, especially as a pass defense, too. And they're good on these downfield throws, too. They're ninth in completions allowed to wide receivers on
42:54on throws 20 or more yards downfield.
42:56Zero touchdowns on those throws so far this season. Um but that they're due maybe.
43:01>> Yeah, maybe. Um all right, let's go.
43:05Anything else in this game before we go to the the Patriots?
43:07>> No, I mean this game I think is super fascinating and we didn't even talk like you know you've got kind of a is it an
43:14angry Mahomes narrative? I don't know if we'll label it that, but they he's never lost three games in a row. And so it's,
43:20you know, they're on their backs against the wall.
43:23>> They're really Their backs are genuinely against the wall. They might miss the playoffs.
43:26>> We haven't been here. We haven't been here in a while.
43:28>> No, we haven't. Yeah. You got Bill Simmons saying, "Oh, we're comparing, you know, Brady. Brady didn't lose five games in a season." You know, there's a
43:37lot of narratives. Molmes has got a >> literally come back. been in the AFC Championship game seven years in a row.
43:45Like >> eventually eventually that was is going to snap too. I don't know if it's this year or not, but you know,
43:52>> we take some of this stuff for granted like >> Yeah.
43:57>> Um, all right. Patriots at Bengals. I wanted to make the Patriots the wagon of the week, but uh >> you can still
44:03>> add the clip again.
44:08>> One more time just for this one.
44:10>> All right. Patriots are also the wagon.
44:12>> This is our wagon, baby. The wagon of the week.
44:14>> The team's just rolling right now. This team is just their wagon.
44:18>> They are [ __ ] wagon. We're going to have a nice old picnic. Load that wagon up. Like we're whatever you need to put
44:23in that wagon.
44:24>> Their wagon.
44:25>> Yeah, this is our wagon of the week, baby. What does that mean? What does wagon mean?
44:30>> Just one more time. We won't abuse it.
44:33>> I like this so much. I wanted to see it.
44:34Okay, >> so uh Patriots at Bengals. Do we we don't know for sure yet what's going on with Burrow, right? We don't have any
44:43definitive news.
44:44>> They have to make him active, I think, by four o'clock Saturday.
44:48>> Do you think they do that?
44:52>> I don't know.
44:53>> If he's if he's healthy enough to practice in full, I would think that he because my take is on this is Joe
44:58Burrow's job is to be the Bengals quarterback. If he's healthy enough to do the job, he's just going to come back, do the job, and that's where the
45:04line in the sand's drawn. So, I think it just comes down to that. Do they feel he's healthy enough? Does he tell them
45:10he's healthy enough? Supposedly today they split more of the reps than the previous two days. So I don't So I don't
45:16know if like that's a signal that's going to be one more week of Flaco because originally the timeline was always Thanksgiving. So maybe they're
45:23like we don't push like we just >> So I I honestly don't really have a great feel for it um at this point. I
45:32know the Patriots are still the wagon though.
45:36>> Either way, Patriots are the wagon.
45:39the Bengals Joe Burrow ain't going to play that defense.
45:43>> Yeah, Joe Burrow doesn't get the Bengals defense, which is Yeah. amazing. Uh for for us, but I I do I do think Burrow
45:53probably plays. Um and if he does, like it's a little tough. Uh but Milton Williams is out for this game, which is uh a big loss for
46:03the Patriots. He's on IR. So, the pass rush, he's he's uh been a big- time pass rusher for them at DT, and that that
46:12helps. You know, the Patriots pass rush is is pretty solid, but uh Williams has been a big part of it. Um the Bengals
46:19offensive line is is terrible. 29th in pass block win rate. Uh 27th in quick pressure rate. Flack has been getting the ball out super super quick, which
46:27has gotten their pressure rate to 12th best um and preventing pressure. But, uh, Burrow will probably take a little bit more time. And, uh, you know, that
46:37that part of it's a concern. But for the for the Patriots, um, you want Burrow.
46:43For T. Higgins, obviously, you want Burrow. Uh, let's take care of the the Bengals side quickly. I think they're pretty easy. Higgins is going to get a
46:51bunch of targets. If it's Burrow, you know, I think he's a wide receiver one.
46:54If it's uh, Flaco, he's probably more like a high-end wide receiver two type.
46:58But I mean, not a great matchup against the Patriots, but targets go a long way.
47:04>> 100%. Uh, I see no matter what quarterback plays, it being a game where the Bengals are very inconsistent on offense, but will probably hit some big
47:14plays. Uh, regardless, because the Patriots do play aggressive defense. Um, you look at if if Burrow plays, we've got a couple factors. One is that he's
47:23just missed so much time. Like him coming off of just such a long layoff. I always price that in a little bit. I
47:29wish I I meant to go back and do like I used to I did a study on this for at Roto World when I was there about
47:34quarterbacks that miss time and they like the underperformance when they return and I should revisit that and bring it back just because we've had so
47:39many injuries last couple years. Uh but we don't have any sample size removing Chase from this offense and Chase is just so vital to everything they do and
47:49when you remove him from this offense like Tiggins is a very good receiver but he doesn't do all those things that
47:54Jamar Chase can do. And when Higgins missed last year, like the big chunk of time, Burrow took like a seismic hit
48:01just removing Higgins from the the fold.
48:04Um his he went from a 73% completion rate, 8.2 yards for pass attempt, and 7.2% touchdown rate with Higgins on the
48:12field on four and 40 dropbacks down to a 66.9% completion rate, 6 and a half yards per pass attempt, and a 5.6%
48:19touchdown rate on 280 dropbacks. Pretty sizable sample. And we're removing the better of the two receivers. Um, but like you said, targets will be there.
48:27Uh, he's going to have to be fed because these other guys aren't target earners.
48:32And as good as Christian Gonzalez has been, and all his metrics look good, >> the Patriots still give up production to
48:38lead wide receivers. So, we're two weeks away from Rebecca Buuku had 100 yards and touchdown against them. Uh, two weeks removed from or three weeks
48:46removed from when Drake London had 120 and three. um they don't strictly use Gonzalez to just follow a dude around.
48:54So I think Higgins will it'll be volatile, but I actually think he's in play just because the target volume and the opportunity and it looks like no
49:02one's really interested in playing him this week. So I still think he could have a big spike a spike opportunity.
49:07>> I do too. I mean think the London comp is is a really apt one. I mean he didn't really get much separation but it matter
49:15you know. Um and Higgins is that same type of player. So, uh, yeah, I think kind of not one to overthink if Burrow's
49:23in. Higgins is really, really interesting. Yoshi Boss, um, doesn't really earn targets. He has a 10% target per run this year. Uh, not real
49:33interested in him. Mike Cassiki might play in this game, it looks like, but, uh, if he doesn't, no, a fan is probably
49:39going to, you know, see a little bit of a boost. But, he was at 41% round participation last week. Hudson, Tanner
49:46Hudson was at 41%. Presumably they'll play some more 12 and and get these tight ends involved. Like Vance obviously just kind of a big receiver,
49:53but I don't like know for sure that that's how they'll play it. So it's a little bit, you know, speculative.
49:58>> Yeah, a lot of people are doing the what happened when Teigans was off the field last year and what it meant for Mike
50:03Gaseki just as transitive property, >> taking it to Fant, but that you can't do that, I don't think.
50:08>> I don't think so either.
50:10>> Yeah. I mean, >> well, then they're doing it too for if Gaseki plays, they're like, well, you know, it's just like, well, fancier now
50:16the two though.
50:17>> Yeah. Yeah. It could just be kind of >> Yeah.
50:20>> Yeah. So, >> I I would say, yeah, that's all pretty thin.
50:24>> Chase Brown is going to be fed though.
50:26Um, tough rushing matchup for him.
50:29Williams has not been great actually as a run defender. Uh, looking at the >> I pulled the stats. They actually average fewer yards per carry a lot of
50:37the running backs with him off the field than on, which I was actually surprised when I pulled it and I was like, "Yep,
50:41yep."
50:42>> I know. I I figured he'd be He's like a defensive tackle having a great year and uh yeah, he's more of a pass rusher. So,
50:48they're still a great run defense. That doesn't change. But when you're talking about a guy who's had snap shares of 96
50:54and 82% over the last two games, 73 and 82% of carries and a 30 and a 19% target share, I don't care what go 3.2 2 yards
51:04per carry. Sure, I'm cool. I'm cool with that. Just >> think he's going to catch eight passes.
51:10>> Yeah, catch eight passes.
51:12>> Score a touchdown. Yeah. So, I think Chase Brown Chase Brown's going to be It looks like he's going to be pretty big
51:16chalk this week.
51:17>> Um maybe not the highest ceiling of like a chalky running back. Uh get off it, but >> he would be more cash game for me on
51:26DraftK and DraftKings only. Um because I think drafting for sure >> where he catches I think he probably he could catch like I said eight plus
51:34passes. I wouldn't blink here. The Patriots are are second in in target rate to running backs. Um and running backs have 26 of the catches they've 26%
51:43of the catches they've allowed which is the highest rate in the league. So >> you remove Chase like he's the underneath dude probably right? Like
51:50he's the underneath target largely.
51:52>> And I think you know like I said they they have to get the ball out quickly.
51:56Like even with Burrow they got to get the ball out. So, I think they'll they'll probably have some design stuff for Chase as well, just to help um
52:03whoever is at quarterback get the ball out because of this offensive line, which is just really bad. Um, all right, let's go to the wagon. I'll I'll throw
52:11this over to you, Patriots, going against this really, really bad Bengals defense.
52:16>> Yeah. Yeah. I'll let you do the Drake May stuff, uh, because I know you like it, but I'll give you one Drake May stat
52:21because I'll try to give you a new one.
52:23Yeah. Uh, I reset. So, uh, he now has averaged over eight yards per pass attempt in eight straight games. Uh, that's only happened six times in NFL
52:32history. Uh, the last time it happened was Philip Rivers in 2018. Uh, Aaron Rogers 2011 and Dan Reno 1984. I always
52:38love when seeing the Dam Reno 1984 stuff pop up because it was such a different era of football and he was just they
52:44have the record at 10 straight games.
52:46I'm probably sure he's going to extend it because he's going against the defense that's allowing the second highest yards per pass attempt in the
52:51NFL. So there's your Drake May stat of the week. It's probably going to keep going. Even last week, if you combined
52:58the Rogers plus Mason Rudolph cajil into one quarterback score, they gave up 18 and a half fantasy points to those guys.
53:05Like uh which would have been QB7 last week. So it's this is a defense you can do honestly whatever you want to. Like
53:13you can and I think the Patriots aren't they're not super pass heavy, but like they went against the Jets last week.
53:20The Jets obviously, you know, Fields >> the Jets had like an eightminute drive to open the game.
53:26>> Yep. And they they pushed back a bit. Um but they benched Fields after the game, so wasn't it wasn't a great showing for
53:32the offense. And the Patriots had a 63% pass rate, which is just one it's 1% above expect or above average. The
53:39league average is at 62%. They were also 1% above their expected pass rate in that game. You don't have to like push
53:45back a ton for the Patriots to pass a decent amount. I the Patriots have not really been super pass heavy. The only
53:52time we've seen them go like really pass heavy was actually in week one in the loss to the Raiders. Uh otherwise
53:57they've been like a little bit above average typically. I think they'll probably be a little bit above average but in a game where they'll have a lot
54:05of positive game script and probably be super efficient. So um you're going to have enough passing volume I think for Drake May and a weapon or two to get
54:15there. Uh the stat I have for for Drake May is that he was 78th percentile in EPA per play against the Jets. He's now
54:23been 75th percentile or better in seven games, which is tied with Josh Allen for the league lead. Josh Allen uh was not
54:3075th percentile or better last night. So Drake May could take take the league lead all to himself um this week. Hasn't
54:38had his buy yet, but you know, still fun. Uh yeah, Bengals defense dead last in weighted DVOA. So, the overall defensive grade dead last dead last and
54:48passive.
54:48>> And didn't someone didn't I see uh and I apologize to who had the tweet, but whoever does the DVA said this is the
54:55worst DVOA defense by this point of the season that since they ever like 1970 like >> I hadn't seen that's uh Shats uh right
55:02would have been the >> I'm pretty sure I thought I seen I thought I heard Norris talking about this but like at this it's like the
55:07worst defense in terms of DVOA at this point season ever.
55:12>> Here it is. Uh deadl dead last deadlast second worst in success rate. Don't have a pass rush at all. Dead last and quick
55:18pressure rate. Dead last and pass rush win rate. 27th in coverage grade. They allow explosive passes at the second highest rate. Uh they they don't shut
55:26down first reads. Uh they this this team's they're bad. They're bad rigs.
55:35So I I like Stefon Digs a lot. I was talking uh Neil Orfield was mentioning, you know, the the number one receivers
55:41haven't gotten there in a big way against the uh the Bengals, but Diggs is playing out of the slot at a decent uh a
55:49decent rate. I don't know in like that sense he's like, you know, a classic number one ex receiver or whatever.
55:56>> I think he'll be perfectly fine here. I I like him a lot um in this matchup.
56:01He's coming off a season high 89% route participation, 30% first read target rate, also a season high, 30% targets per outr run, which actually isn't a
56:10season high. He had 52% in that Bills win, 39% against the Panthers. But he's been able to earn targets over the
56:17course of the year. He earned targets last week against the Jets despite facing double coverage on 52% of his routes. He still had 3.18 yards per
56:25route run. He is now 99 percentile in open score. He has 2.33 yards per out run this year. He has a a 25% targets
56:34per out run, which is 90th percentile.
56:36Diggs is really good right now. Like he he looks completely back um from the ACL tear is as crazy as it is as at his age.
56:44like they kind of ramped him back up, but now if we're going to talk about him like 85 90% uh route participation with
56:52the target rate that he's seen and and the efficiency he's bringing in this matchup, I I have him as a low and wide receiver
56:59one. I I really like him. That's just been the thing is uh he's been awesome all year. Like the underlying metrics
57:04for Diggs have have been screaming like, you know, high wide receiver two, low wide receiver one. The only thing that's been in his way is the route
57:12participation. That was only his second game over 80%. Um we thought I I thought when he got to 80% that first time like
57:19that was just it like we were going to be moving downhill and then the next week he he he went like three weeks in a
57:24row where it was just still kind of they were managing him. So I don't know how I don't know how real it is yet but that's
57:29been the only >> 73 78 89 over the last three weeks. So we haven't seen those 60ish rates like yeah against Carolina 82 then down to 64
57:38and 71 and then 65 in week eight. It's been uh since week eight that we've seen him uh below 70% >> for for some context of how good he's
57:45been like he's right between CD Lamb and Ammon like yards route run like he's you know like that's wild.
57:51>> It's just that like that's how good he's been. He's been back to being like old Stefont Diggs and being awesome. It's
57:56just like you know the the route stuff is like that's the only thing that's prevented him from like actually being like an absolute smash and he's still
58:04been I think a really good value and he's been awesome and obviously was a great real life signing as well. 100%.
58:11Booty will also be back for this game.
58:13Um I think he's more of like a real life thing than because he is I think 5,000 on DraftKings. Not the the most, you
58:22know, it's a boom bust type of play. He has an eight out of 17.7. He's kind of lived on catching those deep balls. He's
58:29running extremely hot in yards per target. His yards per target's 3.2 yards higher than expected for his AOT, which is deep. So, his expected yards per
58:37target is good, but he's got 13.9 right now. That'll regress over a larger sample. He is also averaging 4.2 fantasy points over expected, 99th percentile,
58:47so he's running extremely hot there.
58:49He's kind of a dart throw type of receiver that's like producing like a like a wide receiver four. I think he
58:54probably is like a wide receiver four in this matchup, but for DFS, it's like you either get that, >> you know, what you're Yeah.
59:01>> Yeah. Like I I don't think I'm I'm even on May stuff, I'm probably not playing Booty, but it's nice that he's back.
59:07Like he it is helpful to have him back.
59:09They have that deep ball connection, him and May.
59:12>> Yeah. I mean, I think the most detrimental thing for Booty is just how easily M. Collins transitioned into that role. It was like, yeah, Drake May's
59:18just really really good.
59:20>> Yeah. Yeah. Although to some extent Kyle Williams was in Yeah.
59:25>> the the like pure deep threat role, but and he wasn't drawing targets. So, I think Hollands is another guy that I probably
59:33not playing in DFS because I'm not sure what his route participation is going to be now. It was 83 and 84% of the last
59:39two weeks, but he might split with Williams now and and be back in like the 50 60% range. So, >> I think it's it's Diggs at wide receiver
59:46and then Hunter Henry at tight end. Um I think this is a really nice spot for him. He's uh had a a strong profile this
59:54year as far as um you know 16% target share, pretty decent round participation. His yards per hour is only 1.39 which isn't great. Uh but this
60:03matchup is you know really really strong and he is one of the guys that that May does trust especially over the middle
60:09field. So um I think Hunter Henry is a pretty strong play at 3900 in uh on DraftKings. Yeah, tight ends have a
60:19league high 30% of the targets against the Bengals uh on those targets. 8.3 yards per target. League high 12% touchdown rate. Uh they've allowed 12
60:27touchdowns to tight ends. No next five more than the next closest team. So they just again like what do you want to do
60:35to these guys? What do you want to do?
60:39>> Yeah. I mean the Patriots um their offensive line isn't very good. It's not horrible though. And so it's like when
60:48you when we think about like the Patriots when they get into the playoffs and they have to face, you know, like
60:54last night if they were going against the Texans, like I think Drake May would have also been scrambling around for his
60:59life and gotten sacked a bunch of times.
61:01Like they they they probably will get exposed by some of these legit pass rushes um eventually. Like they they're 20th in pass block win rate. I I don't
61:12really think this is a good offensive line and may take sacks.
61:17But again, you're looking at a a Bengals pass defense that has no pass rush and they're not going to have Trey
61:23Hendrickson in this game. So, uh, this is like if you can't pressure May, he he he's just going to pick you apart. And I
61:31think what they what they do, like that is what they do. That is what they're built to do is is to feature Drake May
61:37when they can protect him. And they can protect him here. So, there's no reason for them to kind of pivot to a runheavy
61:42game plan. Now, they might end up running a lot because they're leading.
61:46>> Yeah.
61:46>> But um but I May is the engine of the offense. He has been all year. Uh the run game though is better than it was.
61:53Trayvon Henderson hasn't just been explosive over the last couple games.
61:58He's his success rate's up to 40% which is not good, but he was horrible before.
62:03He's running back 33 now. Raandre Stevenson is at 33%. That's running back 51. So Henderson's just a better back.
62:12And I'm not sure that if Stevenson plays that Henderson still just doesn't have a a lead in in carries. I think it'll
62:20probably be split. But was talking with Dave Smatic and Neil Orfield and Squirrel Patrol about this and it's like how do you handle the Patriots backs?
62:29Neil who does more like large field uh multi multi-entry stuff was kind of interested in both of them on different lineups not together. But I I kind of
62:40like that call where there's probably value here. It's just hard to know which guy gets it.
62:46>> Yeah, it takes some guesswork, but I think that they want one guy. I mean, they've largely operated since the very
62:52front of the season with just having one dude and then they would bring in a guy.
62:57So, and you're you're talking about playing a guy off turf toe. Like I I mean I understand the matchup's alluring, but like I feel a lot more
63:06fragility for Andre Stevenson than I do for Trayvon Henderson. Like this this guy was hurt. He's coming into a guy that was drafted in the second round
63:14that's playing really good football and can create on his own because the one thing that the Patriots are, I still think really bad at is run blocking. And
63:23we've seen like even the two games that that uh we've seen with Trevan Henderson while the box score has been great. Uh
63:31he is uh dead dead last in yards before contact. He's just second in yards after contact by Jonathan Taylor over the past
63:38three weeks. That's not even just the two games, it's the three games. And it's because he can force miss tackles and if you get him in space afterwards,
63:45he's just more explosive.
63:46>> So I don't know. I don't know. I don't want to go I don't want to go completely out on the diving board and say like
63:52this is like late year stuff that we saw from like Jonathan Taylor or Jir Gibbs, but I think they're going to have a hard
63:58time getting him out of being the lead back, you know, for foreseeable future.
64:02And when you look at the Patriots upcoming schedule, they they play the Giants next week and then they go on by
64:08and then they play the Bills out of that. Like I mean they still have a and then in the fantasy championship they
64:14play the Jets. Like I think Trevon is set up to like it took us a long time to get here, but I feel like if you got him
64:21like this, you're about to catch a a windfall. Like he he scored more points these last two games than Stevenson has
64:29scored in any game of his career the last two weeks, both games.
64:32>> That's crazy.
64:33>> I mean, I think they're going to have a hard time putting the genie back in the bottle. Uh maybe will we see Stephvenson
64:39coming in the goal line or be involved?
64:41Like I I I can't rule it out. like this is Mike Vrabel like and and Josh McDaniel. They've done some stuff with
64:47combo backs before, so I don't want to say that's for sure. But man, I think it would be real real hard to seeing like
64:53what this guy added to your offense with your quarterback already playing this good that you would go back to playing a
64:58guy that just really wasn't effective.
65:02I'm literally just as you're describing that just picturing the 100 foot wave and and surfing the hundred foot wave is that's that's the metaphor of of having
65:12or having uh Tvon Henderson against against the Giants and then the Bills and then the Jets like that is just so
65:18good to close >> because I looked it up I was like man is he like going to have is this a thing
65:22where like it could get pulled on us just from like a matchup stance because like the run blocking hasn't been great
65:28but then I'm like dude Bengals Giants Bills like uh like then Jets in the CH I'm like gez and and if you somehow play
65:34in week 18 they play the Dolphins like >> you know what I'm playing DFS in week 18 I just decided >> I mean you have one game at at you have
65:45one game at Baltimore where it looks like >> and that might not even be terrible like it's just I'm just the other ones are
65:52all juicy juicy >> they really are um yeah so I mean and Stephvenson is not a lock to play this week he's limited limited
66:01questionable with the toe injury. So, we'll see.
66:02>> We saw with Pery like that like he could aggravate it in game. Like it's a a turf toe, man.
66:08>> Why rush him back either? They also they asked Rael about it and he was like, >> you know, he did the like, yeah, you
66:13know, Raandre, we we'll we'll have to think about that when he's back, but uh Henderson's been good, hasn't he? Geez.
66:22I'm paraphrasing in a pro Henderson way, but it wasn't uh the most bullish thing I've ever heard for Raandre regaining the starting job. Um,
66:31all right. I I I and I kind of I'm torn on exactly how I'm gonna play it for for DFS, uh, if they both go, but I'm not
66:40out on Henderson. Uh, >> I think I'm playing him regardless because even if you told me it was a 50-50 split, the type of back he is in a
66:475050 split against this defense, they're they're allowing they're allowing 34 more total yards per game to running backs than the next closest team.
66:56Like they here here's here here's a fun Bengals. They've allowed seven running RB1 scorers in the past six games.
67:04They've allowed Yeah, they've allowed >> who was the who was the double up?
67:08>> Uh the Jets dudes. Uh >> oh man.
67:11>> They've allowed eight top 15 scorers over that span. So the past six teams allowed eight top 15 scoring running backs. They've allowed a pair of
67:18teammates They've allowed a pair of teammates this season to have uh top 20 weeks in three different games this season. Here's a list of I'm gonna these
67:25are some names the Bengals allowed RB1 scoring weeks two this season. Dylan Samson, Isaiah Davis, RJ Harvey, uh Kyle
67:34Manangi, Jordan Mason, Kenneth Gainwell.
67:37Like we're not G like these aren't like first round second round ADP dudes. Like >> no, >> these are dudes. And then you know then
67:45you have the Bree Halls with Josh Jacobs. Like >> I'm not Yeah, these are dudes derogatory.
67:51Those derogatory dudes.
67:54>> I mean, this defense is deplorable. That that chart you showed like like So, I think even if it's 50/50, I think this
68:00>> passing game, too. That wasn't even the run game.
68:02>> Get the run game up.
68:04>> This particular slate, too, where we don't have CMC. Jonathan Taylor's really expensive in a matchup that, hey, if you want to play John Taylor, I won't talk
68:10to you out of playing him. Uh, we don't have Achan. He's not on the slate. It's just like I look at the top running
68:15backs. We talked about Gibbs. I definitely want to play Gibbs. Henderson at his price point I feel like on this slate still offers like a ton of juice.
68:23Like I feel like I'm gonna play regardless of this.
68:26>> Here's the the chart. Now the Patriots haven't been good as a as a running team. Um but >> yeah 31st 31st and 30th in DVI EPA and
68:35success rate. They're also dead last and PF's run great. So not good. Um I I agree. I think Henderson's pretty fun here actually and
68:44especially in like season long stuff.
68:46I'm just I'm riding with him. Uh, all right. Steelers at Bears. Looks like we're going to have Mason Rudolph here.
68:52Do you care?
68:54>> Not Not particularly.
68:56>> Me neither.
68:57>> I kind of like I I did the like to be clear, I think I prefer Rogers, you know, but like in my heart I don't. I I
69:05think Rudolph's more fun. Um because he might actually throw deep.
69:09>> Uh >> yeah.
69:11>> And if he does, there's there's like a little juice maybe here uh for DK Metaf.
69:16Rudolph might be better. Um, so I mean the Bears defense is not good and but Rogers been so conservative and just
69:25does not want to get hit.
69:27>> They are getting two cornerbacks back.
69:30>> Uh, are they Who are they getting back?
69:31>> They're getting Jaylen Johnson and Kyle Gordon back, right?
69:34>> Oh, I didn't I didn't realize that. They were both on IR. I didn't realize they're coming back.
69:38>> Yeah. Uh, I think Jaylen Johnson is more questionable. They activated his window and I saw he was practicing, but I don't
69:43know. I don't I didn't see confirmation that he was playing, but there was they were getting excited to have both back.
69:50>> Okay. Kyler Yeah, Kyler Gordon got in a full practice today. So, yeah, he does look like he's getting back.
69:55>> Um, that's a good shout. And then Jaylen Johnson, I don't see on the practice report.
70:01Yeah. Oh, here he is. Oh, he also had full. So, >> they might be getting both back because Yeah, like a big deal because you
70:07because you had been wanting to attack them downfield. This is where like the Mix Rudolph stuff comes in. So, but it's
70:12just a wild card now. It's not that you can't win and you might not get it. It's just an added variable. You know, there
70:17we're at the point of the season where like Traverous Ward we talked about like we forgot like these guys that were on
70:21IR we kind of just like put them out of sight out of mind and like these guys are all starting to come back. It's like
70:25oh yeah, I forgot that like that happened.
70:28>> Yeah, I didn't realize those guys were coming back this week or at least uh that they might. Um Stevenson, Tyreek
70:33Stevenson's their other main corner.
70:35He's been uh banged up a bit and he stinks. So he's um or at least he gives up a lot of yards. Um I think he had an
70:43interception last week, but uh limited limited full. So he'll go uh but you know I think offers some potential downfield production even if the other
70:52corners are back.
70:55Uh the Bears pass rush is not good.
70:57They're second worst in quick pressure rate, 29th in pressure rate. So if Rogers plays, he shouldn't have to worry too much about getting hit. But I think
71:06either way >> he would just throw the damn ball out anyways.
71:11>> Yeah, they this is probably a spot where they pivot to the run, I would think. Um even though you can attack the Bears
71:17deep and they don't get a great pass rush, they've been a bit of a run funnel. Uh opponents averaging a 59%
71:23pass rate, a four a 4% uh uh pass rate below expected and a 3% shift to the run. And obviously we have an Arthur
71:32Smith offense. We might have a backup quarterback. If not, we've got a banged up 41-year-old quarterback who's about to turn 42. Uh, so I think we probably
71:40have the Steelers leading on the run.
71:41Jaylen Warren was banged up last week, but um that would be my expectation for for what they're looking to do here.
71:49That means probably more Darnell Washington at tight end. He was up to 61% round participation last week.
71:54>> That was the script for him. We said it, man. We said that was his that was his script. if they're going to be in a run
71:58script. Dude, did you see he said he said he's 311 pounds? Like, holy [ __ ] dude. Like, imagine trying to tackle
72:06that, dude.
72:08>> Scott Hansen said, you know, cuz he had that stiff arm play. It just looked just absolutely insane. And >> it was like a dad playing with his kids
72:16in the front yard.
72:17>> It was It was a dad playing with the kid. Like, it's like, "Hey, man." It was it was honestly like like a giant older
72:23brother cuz it was it was with the level of like you know there's a callousness to it where you're like this is you
72:29can't do that. Hey man, you can't do that.
72:32>> That's what it felt like. Like that's like what's wrong with you?
72:36>> He's playing professional football.
72:38>> Yeah, it was it was nuts. See, Hansen goes I mean there's a that's a 300 pounder right there. And then you could
72:43tell like maybe someone got in his ear and he's like, "Well, you know, technically he's like 265 pounds." But but you know, then he admitted
72:50>> he went on uh the St. Brown's podcast during the week and he told him he was 265 and they said, "No, you're not." And
72:55then they got him and said he was 311.
72:58>> I was like, "Holy, man. What?
73:02>> Dude, it's like throwing to an offensive tackle like >> Yeah. I mean, he might be able to convert if he wanted
73:09>> run the ball with him. Just do something. Throw him. I would give him a screen, do anything with this dude. How
73:14has anyone ever tackled him?
73:16>> He looks awesome when he has the ball 3.35 yards per hour on last week.
73:20>> He was always like a big like efficiency dude at Georgia. It was just like, you know, he played, you know,
73:25>> he kind of popped for me as a prospect, but it was like, is he actually going to play tight end? Is he like a big
73:30>> He's because he is really athletic for size, too. Like >> really athletic. Yeah.
73:34>> Obviously, you know, or he wouldn't be a tight end. He would be >> Yeah, he's athletic for the size he
73:38pretended he was.
73:40>> Yes. Think about how athletic he is for the size he actually is.
73:44>> Uh wild wild Pittsburgh uh stat though is that uh 69% of their offensive yards this season is is passing. It's fourth
73:53highest rate in the league. Would you have thought that?
73:56>> No. They have passed a lot more than they normally do, but that's >> they've only rushed they've only rushed for 100 yards as a team three times this
74:03year.
74:05>> One of them was with Kenny G.
74:06>> Oh, four. I'm sorry. It's four. One was 100. Yeah. Um, it's crazy. They're like not a really good running team either.
74:13Oh, because two of the games are against the Bengals. Uh, so I was like, do those count? I don't know.
74:20The other one was like you said Vikings and then they hit 100 on the dot against the Browns.
74:24>> Yeah.
74:25>> But it's like they're not even like a good running team either.
74:28>> So, do you think they actually pass here with >> I don't I don't know. They've been like they've been having to pass, but um like
74:36you said, it's all short stuff though.
74:37It is the run game. Isn't their pass game the run game? I don't know. Like, >> yeah, their pass game is kind of the run
74:42game. Um, I mean, you have a blocker catching the ball, so you know, passing off.
74:49>> Rogers throws everything. Everything's just so short, you know.
74:52>> So short, man.
74:53>> 31% of his passes are at or behind the line of scrimmage. Um, only 45% are five or more yards downfield. That's the
75:00lowest rate in the league by far.
75:01>> He's a 5.9 A dot. It's just it's outrage. Like, >> he has no interest in getting getting tackled, man.
75:06>> None. It's all the quick release. Little hop, little hop. Three yards downfield.
75:12Yeah, it's not very fun. Um, the Bears are 28th in rushing DBOA, 17th in EPA, 20th in success rate. Um, I think if you want
75:23the Steelers to pass here a bunch, you probably need the Bears to push them.
75:27And I don't or at least be competitive.
75:29I'm worried about the Bears here. Of course, >> we've we've seen Caleb, you know, he's been doing the the heroics, but like
75:36>> the heroics are not against teams you should need heroics against, right? They had heroics against the Bengals. That's not >> the Giants.
75:46>> The Giants who lost Dart. Dart was concussed in that game. You had Russell Wilson. You don't you don't have heroics
75:51against Russell Wilson in 2025. The Vikings.
75:55Okay. JJ McCarthy. you have to pull one out against JJ McCart like or I guess they didn't you know the make the
76:02Vikings were trying to make the comeback there but it was close it was closer than it should have been. Uh and Caleb
76:07Williams had a 32nd percentile EPA per play last week against the Vikings. So I I think that Williams could could really strugg struggle here against a uh
76:18really good Steelers pass rush. Um pretty deep pass rushing group. Nick Herbig's having a great season. Still have TJ Watt there like this they're
76:26going to get to him I think. And uh he holds the ball just way way way too long. 3.39 second time. Like if he had a
76:333.19, it'd be like, "Wow, it was pretty long." 3.39 seconds. Uh it's nuts. So, I don't know. I I think this is a
76:43potential big letdown spot for the Bears.
76:46>> Yeah, this this game feels like a you know, a rock fight for sure. Two teams that probably want to run the ball in
76:52their hearts here in this game. Probably don't get like efficient passing. Uh Williams and the Steelers defense like kind of correlate too because you know
76:59Wooden Williams has gotten pressured.
77:01He's 32nd completion rate. He's 30th in yards for pass. He's 22nd in touchdown rate. And that's like the Steelers thing when they have gotten pressure on the
77:09quarterback. They're 10th in completion rate allowed. They're 14th in yards for pass attempt. Uh they've actually allowed the lowest touchdown rate when
77:15getting pressure. And I got to give the Steelers a little bit of credit because we always dunk on them for like never
77:20adjusting to opponents and doing in-game calibrations. Well, since we've all kind of dunked on them after those games, the Packers and Bengals, they've rolled out
77:27three completely different game plans all three weeks. Um, and they've held Daniel Jones to 6.8 yards for pass, Justin Herbert to 6.7 yards pass. Flaco
77:35last week to five yards for passen. All those passers were in the back half of weekly scoring, which kind of goes along
77:40with >> took away Jamar Chase last week.
77:42>> Yeah, dude. I mean, in the rematch last week, the Steelers played a season high rate of too high, 73% of their snaps. um
77:48after playing 39% man coverage rate against the Bengals in the first match up they were at 15.9% was a season low
77:54they blitzed the season low 12% of the time last week their previous uh lowest blitz rate was 23.6% 6% like cut in
78:00half. Against the Chargers, they played uh a season high rate of man coverage in that game. They blitzed at uh at the
78:06highest rate because of the probably the state of the Chargers offensive line.
78:09Now, I don't think the defense is the reason they actually lost that game.
78:11They were okay defensively against the Chargers. They didn't do they did absolutely nothing.
78:15>> No, they did. The offense cratered.
78:17Yeah.
78:17>> And then the week before that against the Colts, they mixed up and played more cover three and cover six than there is.
78:21It's like the Steelers are like rolling out different game plans and like we have not seen this from the this regime.
78:27And um so like I don't trust them to even be like to look at anything season long and be like, "Well, Steelers play
78:32man coverage and they blitz." And I'm like, "Do they?" Like I don't know. Uh they've been they've kept us on our toes
78:37here three weeks in a row.
78:40>> I think the Yeah, because you look at the man stuff and that helps Odun. Uh he's been good against >> That's why Yeah, that's what matters.
78:48>> But maybe they don't play so much man. I think the the one guy who I'm like genuinely excited about from DFS
78:56perspective because he is very cheap is Luther Burden. Um we got the Luther Burden >> a little bit more >> install last week. We got uh route
79:05participation jumped to 61% which isn't as high as we would like but is you know kind of that part-time slot receiver
79:13zone and Olakia has dropped to 19%. And Burton has been really involved when on the field. He has 2.39 yards per out
79:21run. He's at 22% targets per out run.
79:24So, he's been a bit of a playmaker. He gets involved uh on screens to some extent, but only 9% of his his yards
79:30have been on screens, which is that's 84th percentile, but it's below DJ Moore. It's equivalent with Olita Zaki.
79:37So, I wouldn't say he's like a gadget player. He gets some design stuff, but he has also been able to earn targets.
79:43Um, so when you look at Burton, he's got an an eight out of 7.8. When you look at Odun, he's got an eight out of 15.2.
79:52He's the clear downfield number one. If you've got a pass rush bearing down and you need to get the ball out a little
79:58more quickly. DJ Moore's theoretically been the guy, but I think it could be Burden. Like, it's certainly possible that he is more involved in the
80:05underneath passing game this week. Uh Ben Johnson was pretty complimentary of him talking about how they, you know, liked getting him the ball more and that
80:14he had he had earned that role. Um he said, "I think you get what you earn and I think he's earned the increased snaps.
80:21It's something we evaluate each week.
80:22What does practice look like? How are these guys through the course of the week? Are they making plays or not? He's
80:27steadily climbed. The route running detail that's showing up, the consistency and making sure his alignments are right, his assignments, he's doing a real good job with that. I
80:34think he's progress progressing nicely.
80:36uh coach Bing speak index had that uh a couple days ago. So that's what we got after he got more playing time. I'm
80:44pretty and you know second round rookie this looks like a breakout. I think he hasn't had the production with the playing time yet but we could get that
80:51this week. So I am not excited about the Bears offense this week generally.
80:57>> I do think Luther Burton is pretty exciting. He's definitely I think if you if you haven't season long too uh we
81:04haven't talked about this but I had it in the open of the worksheet like the lead in I I'm not quite at like
81:08Gretchian levels or Matthew Barry where I'm like doing these dod tribes. I kind of do like a state of the union at top
81:13but this week we have uh 14 of the top 36 wide receivers in ADP off the board this week.
81:21>> Wow.
81:21>> So like there's teams that need wide receivers. Like I would put Burden in that group. We're gonna probably talk about a couple more gross guys too. But
81:27like >> I have them in a lineup. I put him in a lineup earlier.
81:29>> Yeah. I mean, uh, it like you said, uh, it was because, you know, getting Zakias out of there, too. Zakius played a
81:35pretty bad game two weeks ago against the Giants. It's like, come on, it's time. And then DJ Moore's doing absolutely nothing out here. Like,
81:42>> I mean, he's he's cleared 46 yards in two his past nine games. He's had more than four catches in a game since week
81:48two. So, like, what are you counting on from him? Like, it's time to start playing this guy uh and getting him more
81:54ramped up. So, hopefully they figured that out. And >> there's two ways to pass a receiver, right? If you're if you're a rookie kind
81:59of breaking out, the first way is what he did to Olakius where you just take the routes he was getting, but he can
82:06pass DJ Moore without DJ Moore losing a single route because DJ Moore can't earn targets right now. So you the the number
82:13two target earner on on the Bears is completely wide open. I think that could easily be burdened this week. Easily.
82:21>> Um and Coulson Lovelin could be that, but they're not playing him enough. He's still he's stuck in a split with with
82:26Cole KT. They're both at like 55 60% round participation right now. So, >> um I I think Burton's got an opportunity
82:33here. 3600.
82:35I want to play some of these expensive running backs. He can help me do that.
82:38Uh I'm I'm pretty into that. Um and you know, if I'm playing Luther Burden, Caleb, prove me wrong. Prove me wrong
82:45that you can step up in a in a tough matchup with a with a good pass rush.
82:48I'd love to see it.
82:49>> Um maybe I finally will apologize to him if he if he wins me tournament. Like you said with Caleb, we've we've talked
82:55about it literally I feel like for the whole season. It's like his spots for fantasy football where he's been good have been like pretty clear like coming
83:01in.
83:02>> Super super clear.
83:04>> So and the clearest.
83:06>> Yep. So >> it's the Cowboys and the Bengals. It's like those are the two spots.
83:12>> So this is it like Yeah.
83:15Um, DeAndre Swift, I think, you know, season long stuff, probably more, but he's he's kind of RB2 type of dude. He's
83:22regained >> we've started to see a little bit of a uh um a Kenneth Walker, Zack Charbanet type of thing going on here, too, where
83:33DA Andrew Swift is like the more efficient back and he's doing the the stuff that you like than Manong guys scoring touchdowns.
83:41You're like, what are we doing?
83:44Yeah. Yeah. And he he has he only had a 4% target share last week, which is not ideal, but um you do at least with
83:52Swift, you have a little bit more of the the receiving work than you can count on with Walker, I would say. But
83:57>> yeah. Yeah.
83:58>> Yeah.
83:58>> They throw a little more than the running backs, but it's just like Yeah.
84:00It's like, but now we're in this zone with Yandere. It's like, oh, this dude's gonna give us 90 to 110 total yards of
84:06scrimmage every week and not score a touchdown. Cool. Cool.
84:09>> Yeah.
84:12Um, all right. Vikings at Packers.
84:16JJ McCarthy, man. I did I did it to him.
84:18I pulled up the uh I did this to Cam Ward earlier, so it felt only fair, but I pulled up >> the since Jonathan James. I I pulled up
84:26the since 1999 uh EPA chart. Here he is.
84:30Here's Josh Rosen. Josh Rosen. Uh oh, you can't see my my mouse. Josh Rosen just to the left of JJ McCarthy. Uh he's
84:38had a better success rate, but I think slightly worse EPA per game than Josh Rosen.
84:43This is bad, man. Now, we're only looking at 177 drop backs for him. Um Ward is is up to to the right here. Uh
84:50just a little bit. Uh so he's we'll talk about him later, but uh it's been bad in a bigger sample, but this is like really
84:59historically bad stuff so far from McCarthy. Uh Jonathan James is now going against the Packers.
85:06And we're looking at a Vikings team that I think understands what's happening. Uh they are I think they're kind of over it. We saw them in
85:16the first game. Rookie quarterback functionally rookie quarterback right going against uh the Bears minus 4% pass expected - 16% on first
85:26down. They kind of open things up the next week. Doesn't go good. They go to Wentz.
85:32Jonathan James comes back. They're pretty balanced. And then you see they're like I think the last couple weeks they're like we're not doing this
85:40anymore.
85:41We're a run. We're a run team now. Minus 14% proe minus 27% on first and 10. This is this is what teams do when they're
85:49hiding a quarterback. And this team's clearly hiding JJ McCarthy. So, uh Aaron Jones is probably my favorite play here
86:00on the Viking side. Um he you you you mentioned him the usage being stronger than it looked because he was hurt a
86:07couple weeks ago and and that was exactly right. 73% of carries last week does seem to be the dude there. So
86:14um I I have some optimism for him, but I I don't have a lot of optimism for the Vikings this week. No, it's going to
86:20probably be one of these games. We just talked about the Packers like they're going to let them probably run it. uh
86:24they're going to try to run it on the other side and it's probably going to be an underwhelming overall kind of game
86:30environment for fantasy football points.
86:32Um yeah, Aaron Jones would kind of be the preferred way to play just through the Viking side just because it's at
86:38least trustworthy in terms of volume.
86:40Like then you just say like, "All right, that's cool." Like the Vikings like we have no idea like we can't project any
86:45type of ceiling for them anymore. Like we >> we just don't we just can't uh until there's like some proof of it. Um yeah,
86:5231st in uh yards per pass attempt. He has the highest interception rate in the league. Jonathan James uh highest rate of inaccurate throws uh for fantasy
87:03purposes.
87:04>> Even his accurate throws are inaccurate because he fires them into dude Brady did the game their game last week and
87:10dude he was like several times just talked about the velocity on his throws.
87:15I don't if you caught that.
87:16>> I didn't hear that. No, >> but was that Yeah. Like like dude like put some touch on these. Like Brady's
87:20like dude if Brady's like if you layer this like it's there like he openly talked about the velocity on McCarthy's throws multiple times during the game.
87:28>> It's hard not to. It's like it he's just fire now the last drive that he had.
87:33>> He did have some some touch on a couple throws. Yeah. Noticeable cuz like there's no touch ever.
87:38>> But we can't we can't say we can't look at the last drive of a guy's game. And I saw some people doing this and we're
87:43like look it well he stepped when it mattered. It's like well the dude played terrible for 59 minutes. Like >> he played better. or they want to be in
87:49the spot.
87:50>> And the thing too is, you know, it is a small sample. It's hard to know for sure, you know, is he this bad or like,
87:59but look, I mean, it matters who they were going against. They were going against the Bears and they didn't have their quarterbacks back last week. And
88:06he was seventh percentile in EPA per play in that game, 22nd percentile in success rate.
88:12these quarterbacks. And it's not like it's the only, you know, game he's had a chance to flash. Like he just hasn't
88:19flashed anything. He's peaked in the 33rd percentile in that first game against the Bears uh in in EPA per play.
88:25Like when you have this these soft matchups and the guys just can't do anything and then you're watching the game, it's like, dude, the the plays are
88:32there to be made, but he can't make the throws. Like it's just really really tough. Um it's a type of thing where
88:38like maybe he salvages it, but I would I would think he would need like an offseason. Like this is a guy who needs
88:44to like fix his like I don't know if it's mechanics or what, but like fix his approach to playing quarterback. Like
88:52>> I mean this is this is this was the first quarterback selected in the first round with fewer final season pass attempts. Like like
89:00the only guys lower than him were Jason Campbell, Cam Newton, Trey Lance, and Michael Vic. And like three of those dudes just ran around. Like this dude
89:08has like very he has like almost no college sample size.
89:12Um I I just don't know what like we're holding on to right now. This it's just real rough, man. I I mean you go back
89:20and look at like how was this guy picked where he was? I don't understand. Like >> the one thing that he did pretty well in
89:27college that I wrote about when he's coming out was he was pretty good thrower to the the deep middle of the
89:32field, the splash zone area, which is a huge part of what Kevin Oonnell does.
89:37And like I will say when he is on target and to like, you know, a 15 yard throw down the deep, you know, down the middle
89:46of the field in stride to Justin Jefferson, those plays look sweet. Like they look really good. Uh it's just like he there's no margin for error because
89:57he every every ball's a million miles an hour. Um and so if it if it's not perfect, it's it's bad. Like and that's
90:05where that's the part like I didn't I didn't catch in the eval, you know? I'm like and and I wasn't particularly
90:12bullish on McCarthy coming out, but I was like, you know, if he ends up with like Kevin Okonnell, I could definitely
90:15see it working. Um but here he is with Kevin Oonnell and it is not working at all and Kevin Oonnell knows it and
90:21they're pivoting to the run. Um, this is like as low as Underdog tweeted out that they have Justin Jefferson as low as
90:27they've ever offered his receiving prop.
90:30Um, I have him I I kept him as a wide rece wide receiver one almost out of principle. I think if you had him as a
90:37>> again there's so many guys off the board this week like >> totally. Um, but yeah, I mean if you had
90:42him as a wide receiver two this week I don't think it'd be crazy.
90:46>> No. Yeah, I mean I he was a guy I wrestle with of like trying to you know where do I even move him down to? You
90:51know, there's other guys that I probably would feel like more comfortable. It's like, can I really put him below this name? Like, yeah, it's like to breathe.
90:59Like, but I mean, target share because target share hasn't been the issue.
91:02Like, the dude's getting, you know, it's the quality of targets. I mean, he has what, 28% or more of the team targets in
91:08every McCarthy start. But, uh, I brought this up last week, 23.3% of his targets are inaccurate. It was 12% rate from
91:15Carson Wentz. Like, he's it's d he's doubled it.
91:18>> Um, wide receiver wins. Yeah, from from Carson Wentz.
91:24>> Uh yeah, and then Green Bay has been a significantly better uh pass defense at home, too. So, like they've been one of
91:31these teams that haven't haven't traveled well, but they've been significantly better at home. So, it's like you're not even you don't even feel
91:36good. It's, you know, outdoors.
91:39You're pro you're playing Justin Jefferson if you have him. Addison is more I think touchdown or bust at this point.
91:44>> Totally.
91:46>> You know, what are you hoping for?
91:47Hawinson's been dead the whole year. So, it's really just Aaron Jones uh as the guy you have confidence in because of
91:53running back volume and then Justin Jefferson on just principle of they're going to try to get him the ball, but our expectations have have significantly
92:01uh waned.
92:04Yeah, I think um if you look at the way, you know, we talked about this earlier with like the way you play the Packers,
92:14the the approach that the Vikings have shown recently is kind of what you do against the Packers recently, right? And >> especially with that defense, like their
92:23defense, you try to get turnovers.
92:26>> Yeah. So, >> you run the ball have dude, Jonathan James, do not lose this this game. like last week. Just just try to be close
92:34enough to where we can have a high variance play on defense.
92:39>> Yeah. So, I mean, I I think what what are your thoughts on Aaron Jones like from a DFS perspective and
92:46stuff? It's it's a they're on the road.
92:49I don't have faith in the passing offense at all, but like I do think he'll get fed.
92:56>> I don't have a huge problem with 5700.
92:58>> Yeah. I don't see like a super high ceiling for him, but I think he's fineish. Um there's some guys in that
93:05range. What do we got? We got Kenneth Walker at 54. Montgomery's at 43.
93:10>> Um we had brought him up earlier, too.
93:12We haven't gotten to to Toton at 46. Uh >> we will.
93:17>> Yeah. So, I mean, there's some there are some guys in that range. Like I said, I already kind of So, last week I got
93:22cute. Um, and I thought it's like, "All right, well, what if this hasn't worked all year, but what if I try to play all
93:28the good wide receivers and put him in a lineup?" And, uh, the NFL has said, "What if we continue to be terrible at
93:35passing and your wide receivers don't score points?" So, like, I want to get back on the train because the whole year
93:39I've been playing good running backs, so like I want to play like I think I want to play Gibbs and Henderson or like
93:44Gibbs through something like Walk or something.
93:46>> Gibbs is a great play. Yeah. I don't know if he gets I think Jones probably gets squeezed for me. But if you were to
93:51tell me like he was in that price range like one of the better guys. I wouldn't blink. I'd be like, "Yeah, that checks
93:56out.
93:58>> It's definitely like it's the ceiling is a little bit tough because you just don't." But he volumewise he seems >> he's been catching getting targets too
94:06both games. I think six targets each the past two games.
94:10>> Yeah. Um meanwhile, the Vikings are a pretty big run funnel. teams have a 54% pass rate against them. Very low minus
94:195% POE, 3% shift to the run. Um where you know the the Bears had a 50% pass rate against them. The Ravens were at
94:2753%. Uh Chargers went super run heavy, 48% against them. Eagles went run heavy.
94:32Like number of teams going really run heavy. Uh Lions passed 68% of the time, but they were trailing in that game. Um,
94:41so yeah, I think the the Packers are set up to run the ball here and that's what they do. I mean, the Packers have been
94:49super conservative this year. Josh Jacobs may play in this game. I think even if he doesn't, um, we're going to see the Packers. It'll be Emanuel Wilson
95:00and he becomes a pretty strong DFS player, I would say. Uh, and he's going to be real chalky. 5,300.
95:06Um he'll be he'll be pretty popular and a pretty good play. Like I I don't think the Packers are going to change things
95:12up if Jacobs is out. I think Jacobs being in helps them because he's been a lot better than Wilson this year. But um
95:20and that's mostly because Wilson hasn't been good rather than Jacobs being awesome. But uh >> the off they're another team that the
95:26off they've had so many injuries on the offensive line that they've struggled to run the ball. You wouldn't know this because they keep running the ball. But
95:33>> keep running the ball. Yeah.
95:35But they've been really bad at running the ball.
95:38>> They have. They really have. Uh I mean, it's also like they're not like the worst running team, but they're really
95:47efficient passing the ball. So, it's just strange that they're not, >> you know, they're so committed to running the ball and they keep shooting
95:54themselves in the foot by letting these these inferior teams hang around.
95:58>> Um but but at the same time, like I totally expect them to keep doing it. Um >> Yep.
96:05So, I don't know. Do you have much interest in like Jordan Love in the passing game or is this kind of like
96:09play the starting running back for the Packers?
96:13>> Yeah, I think this is another game that I think probably like we talked about Steelers Bears like the median outcome
96:17of this game is probably lower scoring, right? Like outdoors for teams that, you know, not a lot of a ton of explosives
96:24probably in this game. The Vikings will eventually like sometimes get caught caught in the cookie jar sometimes. Um, but we've seen Love be completely like
96:32very boomer bust against Brian Flores.
96:34And that's kind of how I'm just handling him here. Um, he in four games against Brian Flores, 6.6 yards for pass
96:40attempt. Uh, but he has two front end QB three scoring weeks. One was like in a blowout comeback that they just like
96:47took the they just had to throw a bunch.
96:50Um, so it's just really hard because they haven't really unleashed the passing game. to be honest like their receivers like they've been they've had
96:59so many guys like coming in and out of the lineup and Tucker Craft being out I think is still just a big thing that
97:05like we talked about for one week but then no one's bringing back up as his loss is just so significant for this
97:10offense that it's just it's hard to like just feel great about anything here.
97:16It's more just like a lot of okay plays like Romeo Dobs I think okay Christian Watson okay okay >> yeah and I think you if you are looking
97:26at the running back like Emanuel Wilson's profile has been really really bad this year but we've seen a number of times like the Kyle Manung guy and um
97:32Rico Dow has >> home favorite >> home favorite um they're gonna they're gonna like it will be Wilson and um Chris had one small sample numbers as
97:43well Um, >> yeah, it'll it'll be Wilson. Wilson last week had 71% of snaps, 48% of carries, but Josh Jacobs was at 30%.
97:53>> Um, so yeah, I think >> Wilson is a is a very solid play, especially in a in a slate where we
98:00don't have a ton of these mid mid-priced running backs. So, um, if Jacobs goes, he's trickier because I don't think he'll get the full workload probably.
98:10So, um, >> and his injury sound, the way he described it sounded like, well, couldn't this just happen again on Sunday? Like, cuz he said he took the
98:18hit >> swell back up. Yeah.
98:19>> And it swell back. It's like, wouldn't that just happen? Are we at risk of like you just getting hit again?
98:24>> Um, >> yeah.
98:26>> Yeah. We listen, first of all, we got to just ban Metife. Like, Metife's got like how we not pour that place down.
98:32>> I heard they're doing a soccer tournament there and they're replacing the the turf, like putting natural grass. It's like, well, why did they do
98:38that? Like do that all the time.
98:41>> There someone was sharing the uh like the Spain field and how they have like the retractable, you know, it goes into
98:47like a subterranean um greenhouse or whatever the heck. And they, you know, there's like a gardener who's like lives down there full-time and like it tends
98:55to eat blade.
98:59We can't have freaking turf that doesn't hurt every player who plays on it.
99:03>> I mean, it's like concrete. It's just like a thing over concrete. It's so stupid.
99:08>> But the way he scr and they play on Thanksgiving, too. Keep that in mind.
99:11They play the quick turnaround.
99:15>> Right. Right. Oh, that's a good point.
99:16So, maybe he misses this game. I mean, he his status is a pretty important part of uh of the DFS slate because Wilson
99:24>> Yeah, because if he's just outright ruled out, then you know that you you at least have a volume based play.
99:30>> Exactly.
99:30>> Wilson.
99:31>> Yeah. and and want like unlike Jones who's a volume based play, it's like I do think the the Packers will be leading
99:39in this game. I I do think they can put up points. They have a pretty solid team total. I'm frustrated with the offense,
99:44but mostly because they're not using a very efficient passing game as much and they run the ball too much. So, if I'm
99:50playing the running back, okay, that works out for me. So >> yeah, >> the one thing I I'll note here um with
99:56the passing game, which I don't have a ton of faith in just cuz they're not leaning into it and they are set up to
100:01run the ball against the runfunnel Vikings defense, but targets are condensed at least. Um >> Matthew Golden ain't getting them.
100:09>> Matthew Golden ain't getting them.
100:11>> And you took craft out and we took we did the Florida thing kind of in a way.
100:14>> Um exactly. No, we we did. I mean even more so to an extent, but Dantavian Wixs last week 57% round participation. Uh,
100:22Matthew Matthew Golden was at 37%.
100:25So, this is this is um kind of Christian Watson and Romeo Dobs right now.
100:30>> Yep.
100:32>> Dobs is way safer. You know, his his targets per out run is 22% to to Watson's 15.
100:38But Watson's been very efficient. He's been ramping up. His usage over the course of the last three three weeks has um gotten stronger in terms of route
100:46participation. He's coming off a season high 21% targets per out run. Uh, so I from it's more season long, but like I
100:53think I'm trusting these guys in lineups and I'm I'm starting to really feel like Christian Watson's pretty solid uh with with targets condensing. But yeah, I
101:00mean they don't have a starting tight end right now. Uh John Fitzpatrick led in round participation last week, 47%.
101:07Musgrave was at 33. Josh Wy was at 30.
101:10There's no starting tight end on the Packers and uh Fitzpatrick didn't earn any targets. He had uh 0.36 yards per hour run. Yeah, I have these guys, wide
101:19receiver 21 and wide receiver 24 this week. Like it's, you know, kind of >> kind of the world we're in. Uh like you
101:27said, it's condensed. There is some stronger signal uh in the matchup for Dobs, but Watson's just more fun. Uh >> Watson's more fun.
101:36>> I have Doss ahead. I wish I did.
101:38>> Me too. Me too. Cuz even even though that Watson had the two touchdown, Dobs still had more targets, more yards.
101:44>> Yeah. Yeah.
101:46Yeah. And it's like and he's the guy too like and maybe it'll it'll switch because you know Watson can make those
101:51those contested catches, but he's been like prototypically like their their end zone guy for a number of seasons, especially Craft being out. So, but
102:00yeah, I think they're both solid plays.
102:02I think if you told me you liked one of these guys, I wouldn't be if you were like, I like one of these guys, I'd be
102:06like, yeah, I can see that. Like if you're like, I'm I am gonna play Christian Watson all these lineups. I'd be like, all right,
102:11>> all right.
102:13Yeah. I mean, it's like, you know, that's that's that's where we are.
102:17They're like fair priced. They're fair priced. You need a guy.
102:20>> I just I was just admiring the acting chops there. I felt I felt like like that really happened.
102:28>> I totally understand. Matthew Golden. I mean, we're like I I think we're in the cope zone. A lot of people are in the
102:33cope zone.
102:34>> Oh, the cope zone. Yeah. It's pretty strong.
102:36>> I saw someone. It might have been Ron Stewart that had the the graph. Did you Did you see this?
102:43>> I saw someone uh It wasn't Ron, but someone had a uh a list of receivers who hadn't scored a touchdown through
102:50>> That's the one. I thought it was Ron.
102:51I'm sorry. So, apologize.
102:52>> I don't think it was.
102:53>> Um >> but I mean, now we're gonna have to really apologize if it if it was Ron.
102:58>> It wasn't. I don't think I'm scrolling his timeline and it's gone. So, it's not It wasn't him. But, uh I saw the same
103:04thing you did and the entirety of the list was like, "Oh, yeah. We're in the cop zone."
103:09>> It was all bus. Yeah. like Rashad Gateman who's like kind of busty but not I mean fantasy it was fantasy bust not
103:16necessarily guys who who fell out of the league.
103:19>> Um Jan Dodson was on there. Nelson Agalore was on there. Bunch of first round receivers you did not want for
103:25fantasy.
103:26>> I can't I can't seem to find this tweet.
103:28>> No, but it was bad. It was >> it was bad.
103:31>> It was just like Yeah, maybe we're doing a little a little >> Oh, here it is. It's uh >> was Kyle Kyle uh Borgani
103:40Mess you know >> I was I've let you >> listen as someone who has an equally jacked up last name I I can I point I
103:49point no >> yeah I' I've gotten uh yeah some Curran is pretty pretty common >> I didn't get to choose it man
104:00>> yeah we don't choose these uh Kevin White Nelson Agalore Dvonte Parker Josh Dachshun Laquan Treadwell, Cory Davis, Mike Williams, John Ross, Nquil Harry,
104:09Rashad Baitman, Cadarius, Tony, Jaylen Bergs, and Matthew Golden. My apologies to Josh uh Jan Dodson, who actually wasn't on this list, but uh I think I I
104:19think I saw Josh Dachon and made him Jan Dodson. But either way, uh not a great list of guys to be on. These are
104:27receivers who have uh since 2010 without a touchdown reception the first 11 years. I will say the one thing he has
104:33going compared to this list looking at it now is that all these guys were kind of just like lumberers like outside of
104:41John Ross like maybe he has that going like the only fast dudes were Tony and like all the other guys are legitimately
104:46kind of the same archetype.
104:48>> Bait Baitman is similar to >> I still think there's a place Yeah, there's a place in the multiverse Baitman actually was good.
104:55>> I know he gets he he still looks good in like open score stuff too. like so good in college, man. He was so good.
105:03>> We should have known Skyler Johnson was nothing that that maybe it was the level of competition.
105:09>> Yeah.
105:10>> But I, you know, if he doesn't go to the the Ravens early on and is in like a pass, we'll just never know. We'll never
105:15know.
105:18>> I love debate, but I don't think he's that good.
105:20>> Yeah. Well, um, >> but I I either way, we're not expecting a windfall of targets to start finding him right here.
105:28We are not. We are not. Which should help Dobs and and Watson. So, you know, Rich won't judge you if you play those
105:35guys.
105:36>> Let's go. Let's go to Seahawks at Titans.
105:39>> Um, anything to say about Titans?
105:43>> Lowest team total of the season?
105:46>> Their team total of 13.5 matches the line. They are 13.5 underdogs and they're expected to score 13.5 points.
105:57Vegas thinks they're getting doubled up this week. Not >> Yep. And and the Seahawks have mopped all of these bad teams they played. Like
106:06they have not entertained any of these teams that they should beat. Like they beat the Cardinals just two weeks ago by
106:1422. The week before that they beat the Commanders by 24. Uh three they beat the Saints by 29. Like they have not
106:21entertained these these bottom dwellers like on any level. I think the Seahawks are definitely not as good as I mean there's a lot of like
106:30>> Well, big picture. It's always going to come down to the quarterback.
106:35>> Yeah, I I don't think the Seahawks are like a legit Super Bowl contender, but they're a very good team. It's just I
106:43mean, maybe they are, but I don't think they're really >> Well, the defense is legitimately really good.
106:48>> The defense is really good. So, on that level, they're they're very good. We won't talk about the Rams because they're Sunday night, but I think what
106:55last week showed was a bigger positive for the Rams and uh probably more of a detriment big picture than the Seahawks
107:03because the Rams kind of revealed that if you take away the thing that Seattle's built upon, it's not good beyond that where the Seahawks took away
107:11the Seahawks took that away and then the Rams were like, "Well, we'll just go back to playing 11 personnel. Like, come
107:16stop this now."
107:17>> Like, >> yeah. like, >> yeah, the Seahawks seem like a team that's found a a winning formula that if you can you can kind of break that
107:25formula, things get sketchy.
107:27>> Yes, >> the Rams, I mean, they've got, you know, arguably the best offensive mind in the league um at the helm.
107:35>> Oh, we get to start playing Puka Nua more. What a concept.
107:40I >> know. It's wild. Yeah. So, they they've got they've got change up. They've got a bunch of different pitches they can
107:45throw at you. Yeah, but Seahawks had nothing after the Rams took that away early on and got them out of that.
107:51That's what we talked about the Colts, too. When the Steelers took the Colts out of theirs, like we >> they're very similar. There it's like
107:58this one weird trick, you know, that's that's the team.
108:01>> Well, because when you're because when you have to do a little bit of the guidance for your quarterback, >> you know, it's not complete handling
108:07though. Darnold and Daniel Jones have played good football, too. But >> it's not handholding because it's like >> they are then but it's like here's this
108:15thing. It's kind of like a playyard, you know? You're putting the the quarterback in the playard and they can do whatever
108:20they want there. They look great. They have fun.
108:22>> But when they get loose pack and play Daniel Jones is Daniel Jones is a pack and play quarterback. Like that's
108:30>> And so is Sam Darnold.
108:31>> Sam Darnold pack and play quarterback.
108:33>> Pack and play quarterback. Yeah.
108:34>> Can't hurt yourself in here.
108:37>> Exactly.
108:38>> You get out of here. And the world is scary outside of this.
108:44>> So that's what I But you know what? This is a pack andplay matchup, man.
108:48>> This is a total pack and play matchup.
108:50Like I think this I think the Seahawks are going to level the Titans. I think they're going to cook. I think they're
108:56going to look good on offense. I think put up a bunch of points. I think the passing game is going to look really
109:00good here >> because they play action at such a high rate. The Titans are bad against play action and teams are play actioning
109:08against them at a really high rate. Uh highest rate in the league actually.
109:12Seahawks are fifth highest in the use of play action. That's where we're seeing a lot of the downfield shots. A lot of the
109:17efficiency for Darnold is coming on these play action shots. They're not making him, you know, dink and dunk.
109:22They're using him as a big play quarterback and using the the run game and the threat of the run game to help
109:28open up those shots downfield, many of which go to JSN.
109:33This is like a total rebound spot, total get-right spot for the Seahawks. Is, you know, I I, as I covered at the top, I do
109:39think that we learned some negative things about them last week, but this is not a spot where any of those things pop
109:45up. Like, they're built to win these types of matchups handily, and that's exactly what they're going to do.
109:51>> 100%. It's just I think the only thing we're looking for in this particular matchup is, you know, the Mike McDonald
109:57to what his actual quote of Kenneth Walker showing he's earning more opportunities. All right. What does that mean? Um, >> I don't know if it means I don't know.
110:08I'm kind of torn because Yeah.
110:09>> like 46% of the carries last week. Like, okay, that's not that's not great.
110:16>> No.
110:17>> And they'll have plenty of carries here.
110:20So, it could, you know, it's a little bit like um the Lions or the Patriots where the matchup's really good and they
110:29should run a bunch. So maybe we shouldn't get too caught up in the carry share part and just think about the raw
110:34volume which should be there. But you know if you think about the Lions like it's almost like there's no Gibbs and we start with David Montgomery you
110:43know like Walker feels more Montgomery to me than Gibbs here >> but this is a week where I'm playing Montgomery, right? So you you got to
110:51think Walker is a is a decent play at least.
110:54>> Yeah. At that same price at the same price point um you can get explosives.
110:58Yeah. The only thing I still want to see is if they're going to use him, you know, near the goal line. I know he had
111:02the touchdown last week, but it literally came uh because they had to go hurry up before two-minute warning and he was on the field at that time. And
111:08it's like, all right, well, how static is that? He did have a long touchdown run called back in that game. But that's
111:13like I just don't want to be leaning on 20 yard touchdown runs if he was getting more carries. And then if you get the
111:19blowout, we did see like they weren't using >> Yeah. and well, they had two blowouts the week before against the Commanders
111:26and the uh Cardinals, and everyone else just kind of gets involved at that point when you're beating when you're beating the hell out of a team. It's just like,
111:34well, all right. Well, we did want to we were going to get him more involved, but it's like we're just cooking. So, it's
111:38like we'll just start getting off to Helani and Charban can have some carries and it's like then just in a wide range
111:45of out you're in a wider range of outcomes with him. Uh >> you are. He's more of like a he'd be
111:49like more of like a single entry tournament like large field guy for me um to take a shot on. But I think other
111:55people are going to get there on him which is scary. So it's like well if they're all going to play him like
112:00>> Yeah, I agree. If he's not super chalky then he's a lot more interesting. But um >> I you know he's he's a tournament type
112:08of play though. Yeah. you know, he's he's got he has the ceiling. And I think >> this would be a spot where we're like,
112:14yeah, you know, crazy that Kenneth Walker went off against the Titans, you know, a gigantic team total. Um, >> so yeah, I I think he's a pretty strong
112:25play. Not a smash necessarily because like you're saying, he'll come with some ownership, but um what are your thoughts on JSN? Because on the one hand, this is
112:36not a spot where they need to pass, but on the other >> they don't pass ever and JSN still gets there every single week. So like what
112:45why am I really going to doubt Jackson Smith and Jigba? Like I mean they they don't it's not like they need him,
112:52right? It's just the entire offense goes through him. Um and they're going to score points. So really strong chances of getting in the end zone here. And
113:01even if they demolish the Titans pretty quickly, he can still have an awesome game.
113:06>> Yeah, 100%. I mean, he the one the one thing with him now that he's been priced up is we haven't seen him drop like a
113:11lot of stealing bombs lately. It's just like you're getting your Listen, you're getting your nine getting your eight your eight for 100 and we're getting out
113:19of here. Like >> because last week I was my whole thesis was like he he's going to run 40 pass routs so he's going to go insane, right?
113:26Well, he did and he just did say like same line. He ran 43 outs and still just dropped the same line. Um quarterback
113:32played it didn't help him out but >> right >> but yeah >> he had 2.39 yards per out run which was
113:36a season low >> season low.
113:40>> I mean he has at least three receiving yards in every game. You you're confident in getting the bonus. He's just a strong play, right? And we've
113:46seen >> since the Titans lost Legious Sneeed uh you know they've given up big games to Michael Pitman, big games to Nico
113:53Collins. I mean, I'm I'm pretty confident like you're going to get 20 to 25 PPR points and anything else on top
113:59of that is going to be pretty uh gravy.
114:03>> The one guy that um I'm kind of intrigued by, want to get your thoughts on um is AJ Barner, who I misread what
114:13happened last week. So, or heading into last week, he had 38% raw participation against the Cardinals and Elijah Royo's RAW participation was up. And I'm like,
114:23"Oh, okay. The rookiey's getting more run." Uh, Barner had been at 79%, fell to 38%. Barner had a calf injury heading
114:31into week 10 and they got up like right away in that game. And I think now having the week 11 data point where he
114:39was back to 80% round participation, I think they just rested him. So, um, if he's back, if if the two data
114:47points that matter are 79% round participation and 80%.
114:51Then you're looking at a guy who's got 1.56 yards per out run this year. He's got an 18% targets per out run. And if
114:58he's going to be out there a bunch with a team that I think is going to be at or near, you know, near the end zone a lot,
115:05um, and is going to be doing a lot of play action, which is good for tight ends, then I mean, Barner 3,300.
115:14I think he's, you know, maybe a little underp projected this week. I think he might be he might be more in kind of
115:20like I I think I like him more than Theo Johnson, for example. And I don't think people are Yeah.
115:26>> So, I'm not saying smash, but he's kind of intriguing to me.
115:29>> It's just all about the team volume, right? Like, you know, how much does the last two weeks does uh Mike McDonald say
115:36like, you know, we're not even going to throw anymore at a certain point in this game, but they're they are going to throw
115:42successfully early in this game. It's like we we can't be completely scared about that. But that's all it need.
115:48>> I don't think I'm dead if they if they pass 49% of the time. I don't think I'm dead with uh with the Barner play because I'm
115:56getting I'm getting play action and I'm getting efficiency >> touchdown equity.
116:01>> You might get a you might get a touch push.
116:03>> Darnold has hit the 100th percentile in EPA per play twice this year. Uh he's been uh 99th percentile or 97th
116:12percentile in EPA, 99th in success rate uh against the Bucks. Like he's had three insanely efficient games and then against the Cardinals he was 91st, he
116:20was 85th against the Jaguars.
116:22when it's cooking, it's really really cooking for the for the Seahawks. And I think that'll be I think this will be a
116:27game where we get really strong efficiency. So that's more my interest is basically like, hey, these guys are going to they're going to hit their team
116:34total, which is 27. That's really what it comes down to. Like and the running game is not that good. You know, they're
116:42going to run a lot, but the passing game is where the efficiency is. So, I'm still I'm still intrigued by the passing
116:51game a little bit.
116:52>> Yeah. And I think they'll be completely fine while they're throwing. I mean, >> uh, Titans
117:03anything?
117:07I I mean, not against this defense. I mean, dude, lowest team total year.
117:11Calvin Ridley's out again. Like, who who's doing anything in this game?
117:16Van Jefferson might be their number one wide receiver.
117:20He ran the most routes last week. DK was hurt. DK will be playing in this game, but uh it's not good.
117:27>> Yeah. I mean, >> not good.
117:29>> Yeah. Cam Ward against this defense. I mean, >> what's the ceiling? He had 13 points against the Texans last week. That's as
117:35good as it gets, right?
117:37>> Yeah.
117:39They I will say we did see them pass last week. 77% pass rate. So >> yeah, >> if you he had that one sick throw to a
117:47conquo, but that's again they're going to just rope people back in.
117:51>> He has he has sweet throws like Jonathan James. He can have sweet throws.
117:55>> Yeah, >> he ran a couple times last week which we haven't seen really.
117:59>> Honestly, I he will say for because I I've been very critical of Cam Ward this year. Um which he hasn't, you know, really gotten
118:07me back for yet, but maybe he will. Uh he had 43rd percentile mark in E pay-per- play last week. That's not
118:15good. But it was against the Texans. So I would say, you know, he's coming off his best game of the year. And if he
118:22wasn't going against arguably a better defense or at least as good, >> um then I would actually have a little bit of optimism for him here. And so
118:31let's, you know, let's remember that for, you know, whenever the next time he doesn't face an elite defense, cuz maybe it could get, it could get better. It
118:40could get better. Don't have much faith here that uh >> this is this is one if you've got an argument for a Titans guy, lay it out.
118:47But other than that, I don't really even see >> out of outside of desperation where you can go to.
118:54>> Yeah. I'd be like, I literally ran out of receivers. I'm starting DK.
118:57>> Yeah. Or even the running back. just like you've got to need a body to play.
119:01I think Spears or >> because it's split and >> um >> this is where you want the receiving guy, but Spears is the the tougher guy
119:10to play. So, >> it's bad offense. It's a good run defense.
119:14>> It's just a terrible spot. There's a reason their team totals this year.
119:19>> Yeah. Um Jets at Ravens.
119:24This is uh pretty good spot for Derrick Henry, I'd say. Jets run defense isn't bad. They're actually much worse against
119:32the pass, but it's the Jets. So, there's there's runfunnel defenses and then there's runfunnel teams. And the Jets are a runfunnel team where they just
119:43can't force teams to actually need to throw the ball. And so, teams run against the Jets at a pretty high rate.
119:49Uh, I think that's what we're going to get this week. Should be a pretty strong game for Derrick Henry who has a chance
119:54to really get fed here. He's more of a a guy where you're waiting for him to pop a couple um or one really long one and
120:02he's in a he's in a great spot to do that this week. So, uh I like him. What are your thoughts on on Henry and the
120:08Ravens?
120:09>> Yeah, great good spot for at least 20 touches in each of the past five games.
120:12He's a double digit home favorite. Uh as a home favorite or seven or more points for his career, he averages 120 rushing
120:19yards per game. With the Ravens, he's at 17.6 PPR points per game as a touchdown favorite. and at home in the six home
120:26games, 20.2 PPR points per game. So, I made sure to use PPR for the people that would be like, "Well, I can never play
120:32them on DraftKings."
120:33>> You can you can play them on DraftKings.
120:35>> You can. You're allowed. I I mean, it's it's this is I think this is a pretty good get-Right spot for the Ravens
120:39offense as a whole. They face two teams, I think, that structurally give them problems at the things that they're bad at. This game reminds me as the setup is
120:47the very similarly to Lamar's first game back against the Dolphins where you have uh they're going against an aggressive defense that's aggressive out of necess
120:57like they try to they feel like it's necessary for him to be aggressive because they know they're not good >> and that's kind of what the Jets are and
121:03that's why it reminds me more of like the Dolphins matchup. So I don't really know if we're going to see Lamar maybe
121:08run the rest of the year at the degree we're expecting because of all the things that have piled up for him. I
121:12feel like this is a spot too where we could have like a even a 25 attempt game where he throws three or four touchdowns
121:19as well. Uh Jets are 29th in passing points allowed per attempt. Lamar still leads the NFL in that category. Um they
121:26blitz, they play a lot of man coverage and they don't do either of them well.
121:29So especially >> saw Gardner and Quinn and Williams like they >> Yeah, >> I think it's a a lot better outlook than
121:37it was the past two weeks for uh the Ravens though in general. I have some fun some fun stuff too uh this one cuz
121:45listen I think we were right about DeAndre Hopkins last week where you know you were never with it but it did play
121:51out. They played out. They were just bad. They were just bad dude. He he ran he has season high route share. He had
121:57he was second in the team in area yards like dead even with Z Flowers and area.
122:02>> You you got me on I didn't realize that that Hopkins had been consolidating all these receiver routes. So I it was a bit
122:08of a revelation but you're right. you you made the call on Hopkins 71% RA participation last week. He was the dude.
122:13>> They were just bad. Like they they offensively systemically were underperformed. It wasn't his fault.
122:20It's like no, but uh still has the good splits against man coverage and stuff.
122:24So it's like like I think if you're again in desperation on this week where I said like we're missing all these wide
122:29receivers, he's still I think the thesis was right and now it's a better spot where his quarterback is probably going to perform better.
122:36>> I think the thesis was right and he's in a better spot. Yeah, I think that's true. Now, I haven't looked. What is he?
122:42>> He's 33, which >> 33? Yeah, >> there's a cheaper receiver in this game.
122:46That was kind of fun.
122:50>> Are you talking 80 Mitchell?
122:52>> Yeah.
122:53>> Oh, man. Tell me about that.
122:55>> I mean, it happened again though. Like, this is who he is. Like, granted, you never know. He's until he has to catch
123:01football, but this dude he his first game of the team plays twothirds of the routes, 64%. Uh he's target on 29%. He's
123:09at 56% target rate against man coverage against Christian Gonzalez was like getting open. He had six first read targets. Uh the highest on the team. And
123:16like going back to last year, like this guy just earns targets on wide receivers that run 200 more routes. He's a wide
123:23receiver 13 target rate. Get this.
123:25There's 140 receivers in the NFL that have run 200 more routes since the start of last year. He's number one in target
123:31rate against man coverage. 42% of his routes he's gotten targeted. Now I don't I don't know what the hell he's gonna do
123:37when the ball gets to him. Yeah, I can't tell you that.
123:39>> I do >> like but they're facing a man heavy team again like the Ravens third third in the rate of single high fifth and rate of
123:50man coverage and Tyrod Taylor might be an upgrade. He's I we have to play a gross dude this week, right? Like there
123:56has to be if you want to play Alman Ross St. Brown, Jir Gibbs, Trey McBride like you there has to be a gross dude. I
124:03tried to I DeAndrew Hopkins. Gross dude.
124:06Dust ball.
124:07>> Mitchell that gross.
124:10>> He's in the fours though, right?
124:11>> He's in No, he's 36.
124:13>> Oh, 36. Okay. Yeah, he counts too. Yeah, Luther Burden is the best of those guys for sure.
124:18>> Here's some quotes that I think you'll like. Um, so the first quote is actually I I I treat this as bearish. This is again
124:26from uh Coach Speak Index's Discord. Uh, Ad Mitchell is awesome as a person. He's been phenomenal so far. just like being
124:32around him. He's got good energy, great attitude. And to me, that's where it starts when I see him. Friend, he got
124:37>> I think he's one of us. I think he's one of us. That's like the most bearish stuff. That's the Keon Coleman. Like,
124:42man, this dude cracks me up. I just can't What a what a hilarious guy.
124:46>> Great personality.
124:47>> A great personality. That's That's extremely bearish. That was from Tanner Angstrom. However, he also said, >> "Oh, boy.
124:56>> He had some drops last week and that happens occasionally, but what I see there is separation. I see separation."
125:00And to me, that gets me fired up. That gets me excited about a player and where he's going to go. We haven't even seen
125:06it. We haven't even seen it or scratched the surface with that guy. And we're excited about where he's going to go.
125:11And man, what a hilarious guy. I really like being around him. I made that last part.
125:22>> But there's some there's some bullishness and bearishness there, right?
125:25>> Yeah, absolutely. Well, I mean, going back to his college profile, like this guy's been more uh hype than substance.
125:32Like there's >> there's no getting around that.
125:36>> But if you were going to like, you know, if you're going to kind of pinpoint what the issue is, it seems like part of the
125:43issue with AD Mitchell is that when he isn't being targeted, he's not like his head's not game.
125:49>> Also, when he catches the ball, he fumbles it out of the end zone. he holds on running plays and he drops the ball
125:55constantly with the some other issues.
125:58But >> I do think like if you are going to try to make it work with AD Mitchell, targeting him relentlessly is
126:05that could it could work. So I don't I don't hate the the call. Um I'm gonna I'm gonna hop aboard Mitchell train with you and that
126:13>> you don't have to.
126:14>> I'm gonna do it.
126:15>> I'm always Don't kick me off.
126:18>> Fair enough. Fair enough. Uh but yeah, I mean it's just he's always the kind of guy it's like well if he's running
126:23routes he's going to have opportunities and then you just see what happens like >> I mean I get it but like I said how do
126:30we fit in these guys? Like how do we get Tom on RA? How do we get to it's there's not a lot of like you brought I think
126:35Burden is is by far the best of the dudes we just r rattled off but like we have to get to something that's
126:41uncomfortable still on the slate. You know we still have to play an uncomfortable play if you want to play the best plays,
126:46>> right?
126:48Uh, Ravens side, Henry, obviously we talked about um being a great play, but Z Flowers >> did gloss over Zay Flowers, who is
126:56actually better than the better receiver.
126:59>> Talk DeAndre Hopkins and not say Flowers.
127:06>> I just wanted to say that I thought I was right last week and was while I was wrong.
127:11>> Yeah. Well, I mean, and that happens a lot, you know, that we we we're like, I was actually right. What you don't
127:17understand is that process is really what and I >> you understand I have a great personality.
127:28>> You'd really like being around me.
127:30Unfortunately, I lost >> make you laugh.
127:33>> Make you laugh.
127:39>> Uh any interest in Z Flowers here?
127:42>> Yeah, I do actually. Uh his his one bugaboo is the the touchdown stuff we talk about all the time like it's
127:47seemingly like this there's a just like a when they get across the 20 they're like they forget he's he's alive >> but a great spot for him. Uh all the
127:55stuff that lines up for him. He's he's got team high target against man coverage. Team high target rate against the blitz since the trade of S Gardner.
128:03Jamar Chase 12 catches uh 91 yards.
128:06Jerry Judy six for 78 and one. Stefon Diggs nine for 105. All of those receivers had double digit targets.
128:13Could we not get double digit targets here because the Ravens are flooding him? Sure. But everything does line up if he's going to score a touchdown
128:20again, too. Eventually.
128:21>> Eventually. Yeah.
128:22>> So, like this good spot for it's a it's a genuinely good spot for him.
128:27>> Yeah. I mean, the touchdown stuff is frustrating, but he's a very good receiver and and they're going to put up
128:32points here. So, >> um don't want to overthink it.
128:34Touchdowns aren't the most predictable thing. So, um, >> well, his the way he doesn't score touchdowns are have been predictable.
128:41>> It's a little more predictable. Yeah, >> because they just don't use him down there. But it's like >> it's a bummer cuz he you would think
128:48like he's a guy I think we've talked about like he can because he he gets open like he should be >> right.
128:54He needs to he needs to like um do like the Hunter Renfro like he >> we didn't talk about this with uh
129:02>> we didn't talk about this with Downs, but before the buy the the uh Colts were starting to do this with downs a little
129:07bit near the red zone because he's so good at getting open like they were just starting to do some 3x1 stuff or iso him
129:13and like cuz they're like oh he's just going to get open like let's start to use him down here. It's like man Z
129:17Flowers could do that. He needs to put out like a hype tape of him getting open like, you know, within a yard or two.
129:23Like it's like he's the new guy, you know, that that's the best at that because I feel like he could be the best
129:27at that. He's very good. Gets open quickly.
129:29>> And Mark Andrews is the exact opposite because he has nothing outside of the 20 and then he scores two touchdowns,
129:35>> right? Yeah. It's it's the Devonte Adams puka thing. Um but but makes less sense.
129:41>> Yeah.
129:41>> Um >> they did run the sweet fake to push which is just what a call at that time game. That was such a sweet play
129:49>> on fourth and one too like to pull that out and the execution like perfect.
129:54>> My wife's parents were in town and uh I like they don't watch football and I'm like come you got to see this. You got
130:00to see this play from uh from the Ravens. Mark Andrews just housing it.
130:06That was so fun >> and fast still.
130:09>> Yeah. Still got it. Browns at Raiders.
130:13Uh, >> oh, baby.
130:17>> I feel like I'm out of this B. Like, my god, this quarterback play. Like, I feel like I've I've wait I've used it up on
130:26the Vikings and the Titans. I don't know if I've got it in me for the Browns.
130:30>> Not this one, man.
130:32>> What do you How many sacks do you think there'll be in this game?
130:36>> Like total?
130:37>> Yeah. Like if I gave like what do you think the actual number should be? The line should be set at. Oh my god. Um,
130:45it should be set at 13 and a half, >> dude. The Browns.
130:54>> What are you taking? Are you taking the over or the under?
130:55>> [ __ ] I might take the over, man.
130:58>> That's a good line then.
131:00>> Yeah, dude. I mean, the Browns, >> the last three weeks, the Browns have a 19% sack rate.
131:07>> So, basically, one of every five dropbacks, they get a sack. Gino Smith.
131:12>> I think the league the leaguewide pressure rate is I think like 23%.
131:16>> Dude, they're like sacking like other teams pressure.
131:20>> Yeah, I mean they're better. They have a better sack rate than the 49ers have a pressure rate the last like two months
131:25of football. Like >> Gino Smith has been deplorable with any type of pressure and this goes back years. And then you have Sher Sanders on
131:33the other side who welcomes pressure when he's not pressured because he wants to hold the football uh and extend plays. Like, dude, there are going to be
131:40so many sacks in this game.
131:42>> Do you know Smith's doing the sacks where you don't see these sacks that commonly anymore cuz there's like more guys are mobile, but like where the
131:49pocket just collapses and like eight guys like all sack him, including his own offensive lineman. It's >> And also, yeah, they're still missing
131:59two their two best offensive linemen still not playing. So >> yeah, they uh their their left tackle's been out for a while and he's a huge
132:08loss. Colt Miller. So yeah, >> Jackson Powers Johnson being out. It's it's >> Yeah, he just went on IR.
132:18>> Alex Kappa's been a liability and pass protection.
132:22>> Uh last week they they kicked their center to right guard and then they played their backup center at center and
132:27then both of them were horrible. So that didn't work. Uh Pete Carol's son is coaching the offensive line. It's been a
132:35huge setback from where they were last year. They have dealt with injuries, but the the offensive line is a major major
132:41issue.
132:42And the Browns are like they're first in pass rush win rate. They're first in pass rush grade. They're only 16th in
132:50pressure rate, but that's because you just get the ball out super quickly. But when you know, as you're mentioning, they're getting home and actually
132:57generating sacks when they pressure. the extremely effective pressure. Um they're fifth in in DVOA.
133:04>> They lead Oh, I'm sorry. They're second run defense.
133:07>> Oh, they're they're second. Okay.
133:08>> In pressure to sack pressure to sacrate.
133:10Pressure to sack. Uh they're 29.4%. So 29 and a half% of their pressure is basically get uh a Gino's 25th in that
133:18department by the way on the other side.
133:19>> Yeah, I was about to say they're about to be first because Gino Smith's taking he's converting pressures to sacks. Uh
133:26but yeah, I mean the the Browns, it's not just the pass rush. Their coverage has gotten better. They're just seventh in coverage grade. They're fifth in DVOA
133:33overall. Uh seventh in seventh in passing DVA, seventh in EPA against the pass, ninth in success rate, and they have the best run defense in the league.
133:40So teams are running against them at a very high rate, but purely to avoid passing. Uh and so just another like
133:48rockfight setup here, man. Like you're going to see a bunch of genty get hit in the back fields. two, three yard type
133:54stuff.
133:54>> Both backs. It's the mirror match.
133:56>> It's Yeah, I mean I I have a little bit more faith in Judkins, I think. But then again, >> I have no faith in Shadore, man. No
134:06faith in Shadore here.
134:07>> The best thing I can say about Sher Sanders is he's not Dylan Gabriel. And I don't even know if that's a pro yet. I
134:12just >> It's not a pro. Here's the two of them on the EPA chart. Now, this is sort of unfair to Shadore, but it's actually
134:21kind of it's kind of fair because he's this is per game.
134:25>> So, negative EPA per game. You're going to rack up less negative EPA in, you know, a quarter and a half or whatever
134:31he had.
134:31>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
134:32>> He's still by far the worst in the league in that one game.
134:35>> And it's funny cuz that that chart would end at three different points. It's like it should end at Cooper Rush and then it
134:40should end at Jonathan James and then it should end at Dylan Gabriel and then it should end.
134:47It's so bad.
134:49>> Yeah. So, I don't know, man. Like I think I think they're just going to have to feed Judkins and try to hide.
134:55>> But at least I I'll say only to defend his terrible EPAess is at least he tries stuff that leads to bad plays. like
135:03where Dylan Gabriel is just like so like he doesn't try anything end is bad like >> that's true >> so at least that like like the Jamus
135:11factor old school Jamus factor like could he just like be terrible and help us make >> that's the thing with Shadore is that he
135:17plays like he's this playmaker but he's not >> that's always been his problem because he has no arm strength >> he has no arm strength and he's not fast
135:26so he's like he's like a scrambler like oh I'm moving around the pocket >> and then it's like yeah great you're
135:31sacked and you lost to 16 yards. So, >> yeah.
135:35>> So, the drive's over. Thanks.
135:37>> Uh it's so bad, man.
135:39>> He had a 14% turnover worthy throw rate, >> uh which would have been tops last week over >> the other thing is that like
135:48>> Sanders was drafted with the 144th pick in the draft. And I know there was like some stuff about, you know,
135:53>> he had a list of teams he wanted to go to and he turned a ton of teams off and they he's clearly not on a bunch of
135:58teams boards and then he told the Ravens he didn't want to even play there. like his fall in the draft was not like
136:02entirely related to his tape, but it wasn't unrelated to his tape either. You know, this the idea like I just don't
136:09think we ever like fully corrected mentally about like the level of prospect that we're talking about because he was talked about like he
136:17might go as the number one pick and then he was talked about like he might go top 10 and like dude fell to the fifth round
136:22and with his profile, his statistical profile as a fifth round pick, he came out behind Will Howard for me in my
136:28quarterback model. he was in the same tier as Howard and Riley Leonard and Kyle McCord like this is a straightup backup quarterback level prospect. Um
136:37like just objectively like he he I mean maybe there's more upside because some of it was like a little bit more about
136:43like his you know kind of off the- field stuff but I don't know that that is good. I don't know that you know him playing
136:51this year when you know it just came out this past week uh a little bit more clarity on on the original plan was for
136:57him to like truly red shirt this year and not play at all. Um like I don't know. I don't think that's the
137:05fifth round. You take a guy in the fifth round and you're like our plan is to like make sure he doesn't see the field
137:09as a rookie. Um it's it's not it doesn't strike me as as bullish that he is now seeing the field as a rookie. Maybe two
137:16three years from now there's there is more upside if you can kind of um you know get refine the refine the the place
137:24the playmaking style a little bit, get them to play more within structure and stuff. I don't know. But this week, uh,
137:30the Raiders defense isn't good. Uh, they do have Max Crosby who is awesome.
137:37>> I I guess I'd say like compared to Ward who's set up for, you know, just a horrible uh matchup this week compared
137:45to to Jonathan James who's who's going against the Packers, like >> Shadore would be the guy who could maybe surprise us because he has the easiest
137:53matchup against the Raiders. But um I also have like the least confidence in him as the player I think.
137:59>> Oh yeah, 100%. I mean you can't have any confidence in this because any quarterback that's even even going back to Flaco in this in this team
138:07environment is was terrible.
138:11>> Yeah. I mean Gabriel's been probably the best they've had this year.
138:16>> And again on that chart he's like the worst quarterback in the league.
138:23I mean, there's just it's hard to buy in on anything here and it's it's completely ruined what was looking like was going to be like a good Judkins run
138:31out and when he first started and it's just completely sapped him like uh the past five games he's been like borderline unusable like he's just a
138:39paperweight like um and same thing they have the same problems like he's not getting any yards before contact and the one thing the tiebreaker between him and
138:47Jy because uh they're like kind of the same boat and Their offensive lines are bad. The offensive environment is bad.
138:54At least like James will catch a couple passes. Like Judkins has 70 receiving yards in the entire season. Like he he
139:01doesn't even have a catch in three of his past five games. So like you don't even have that as an out.
139:06>> Yeah. It's just it's a bummer cuz he looked really good like that first month we got him on the field and like the
139:12Browns were kind of competitive and they've even had some game scripts where they've been like okay >> like last week but like they just it's
139:19just dude runs for three yards per carry man and like that's all you're getting and it's not his fault because his yards
139:25after contact stuff's good. It's clearly like they're just they have he has no holes. But >> so I I looked into their their tackles
139:34this week because So Deon Jones is on IR. Yeah. Cam Robinson >> and Jack Conlin were both limited uh with knee injuries, but it it looks like
139:44they they could play, but I was like, man, if they don't play, looked at 75 tackles with 200 plus snaps this year.
139:50Um, Lucas, uh, Cornelius Lucas, one of the backups, ranks 73rd in pass block grade. And then the other backup, KT KT
139:57Leon, is dead last. Like, man, you really hope these backup tackles aren't in 73rd and 75th is 75 qualifiers. But then you look at the the guys who
140:06actually are going to start probably, and they're 71st and 72nd, so it doesn't matter. Just this offensive line is horrible. No, he he
140:16and Jen, both these running backs, every week I when I'm doing stuff, I'm like, I'm gonna move these guys way down and
140:20then I can't because of the landscape.
140:22And I'm just like like >> no confidence though for any type of ceiling for either of these guys in this in these particular matchups because the
140:30Raiders are are fourth in yards allowed before contact running backs. Like their run defense has actually been pretty solid. Um so it's it's I said I it is
140:39very much this game probably still goes under, right? Like I don't like what how does anyone score points in this game?
140:45>> So the total is 36.
140:50>> Jeez.
140:50>> Still probably goes under like 1310 or like some some [ __ ] dude. Like >> do you realize I I just didn't hit me
140:57until now that I set the sack total for this game at the >> team total of of the Titans?
141:04>> Yes.
141:05>> And you took the over.
141:07>> I mean, dude, this might be the game where Miles can make the push for the sack record. like kind of real get in
141:13there.
141:13>> Come on, man. That would be fun. That's a fun angle for this game. Not seeing a lot else here.
141:19>> I don't think Injoku does look like he's gonna play was the latest, so that makes Fannon way less interesting. Um, we'll
141:28see.
141:28>> You're I mean, you're obviously just playing Bowers. Um, I I pulled some interesting Bower stuff. I'm a little worried that the Raiders are overusing
141:37him as a receiver now. Um, not that you're worried like you're playing him.
141:41He's tight.
141:42>> I would like more of that. What do you mean?
141:45>> Oh, well, he's because we've seen like this with Kyle Pittz like you're these guys. You can't play a guy that's not at
141:50wide receiver at wide receiver consistently and expect them to beat NFL quarterbacks. Like they they're not good enough in that capacity. So, Bower since
141:57the buy has been just playing wide receiver on 23% of his snaps. Uh but on his routes this season lined up out
142:05wide. He's only been targeted on 18% of his routes. 1.54 yards per route run in the slot where you want him. 44% target
142:13rate per route run. Four yards per route run. Here's a fun one. When I went underneath the hood here, he's only
142:19played 21 uh he's only ran 21 routes in line. He's been targeted 71% of the time for 5.6 yards route. 13 of 15 targets,
142:29118 yards, and a touchdown when he's been like an inline tight end. Like, mix in some more stuff, like get a little
142:34more creative. But I do just worry that they're starting to overuse him because of the state of the receivers just as a
142:39receiver because you want him to be a mismatch in the interior of the field.
142:44>> Um >> I will I will note that um last week he he was double covered on 45% of his routes.
142:52>> And you can double cover him if he's going to line him out wide.
142:54>> If he's lining out out wide. So that that would probably be part of it is that it's actually easier to double
142:59cover him um when he's out wide and teams are doing that. So it's not like he it's not like necessarily he can't
143:07get open against single coverage out wide, but it makes it easier to to take him away and double cover him, which is
143:12what the Cowboys did. And they he was still targeted on 24% of his routes, but he only had 1.47 47 yards per route run
143:18and turned in a pretty disappointing line of seven catches, 72 yards, didn't didn't score a touchdown uh against the Cowboys defense that I was expecting
143:27more against. Um >> well, there's I mean he he's dealing with systemic failure at this point.
143:33>> 100%.
143:34>> There's a lot more to it.
143:36>> 100%. Yeah. and you're and you're playing him like you're not like he's you know he's he's largely still you're going to take these you're going to take
143:42those targets always and just throw them at the wall but like we're probably not going to aggressively play him on the
143:48slate.
143:48>> No, unfortunately no. Yeah, McBride's 800 more and just is going to score more points by probably a lot.
143:58>> Jaguars and Cardinals getting getting into the late slate here. Um we're doing all right. We're doing all right. We're >> doing okay. We're not as Yeah, we're
144:06doing okay. We'll see. We'll see how we land the plane.
144:10We still have four games left. Um, >> do we?
144:13>> Yeah, there's four games on the late slate.
144:16>> Oh, we did. No, we did Browns already.
144:19>> Oh, we did Browns. We did Browns. Sorry, >> that that game. Yeah. No, I said we kicked off the late slate. We already
144:24kicked off the late slate, so that's good.
144:26>> Uh, three games left. All right, Cardinals. This is one of the things we talked about at the top. Like the
144:32Cardinals last week. Didn't end up jamming him DFS. That was ultimately the move. Uh I think it's kind of back to
144:39the well here with the Cardinals.
144:41Jaguars are a huge pass funnel, biggest pass funnel in the league. Teams are averaging a 69% pass rate against them.
144:48Six of six of 10 opponents have a 70% plus pass rate. 71% actually plus pass rate. Um including their last three
144:56opponents, the Raiders, Texans with Davis Mills, and Chargers who can't pass protect. uh had 71 71 and 73% pass rates
145:064% proemp opponents are are averaging against the Jaguars 3% shift in proe to the pass Jaguars numbers don't look terrible against the pass but they've
145:16generated some turnovers they're 25th in drop back success rate I think that tells kind of the real story about how easy it is to pass on them and then you
145:23also have this like chunk play type of passing game with Jacobe Brassette you also have a team that's been very aggressive with Brassette under center
145:34uh 7% proe 8% and 7% over the last three games since the buy 14 and 11% on first and 10. You've got pass rates that are
145:45pretty high 59% against the Cowboys but then 75 and 77% over the last two weeks and this is a spot where I think they're
145:53going to be dropping back plenty. Uh looks like a a competitive game.
145:57Honestly, the Chiefs are kind of the the Cardinals are calling plays like the Chiefs right now. like they're that they're that kind of pass heavy, that
146:04aggressive. Um I think, you know, you see them on this chart here, their their pass rate now is in line with the
146:12Chiefs. They've had a higher expected pass rate, so they're not like dictating the pass the same way the Chiefs do, but
146:18the end result's pretty similar. Like we can expect a pass rate in line with Kansas City. Um and I think, you know,
146:25probably higher than the typical Kansas City pass rate in this matchup given the pass funnel nature of the defense.
146:31Yeah, they're not going to line up with Michael Carter and Bam Knight against the Jaguars and and run successfully in this game. Uh we've seen it. Yeah.
146:40Brassette 47 46 37 53 57 dropbacks uh for those losses. The only minor concern I have because I'm with you like this is
146:50past funnel is that you can only get yourself out of the game scripts they've been in these past two weeks so often
146:56for fantasy football. like there there is a house of cards like you saw happen ironically against the Jaguars last week with the Chargers like you don't always
147:05want to be down 30 points cuz event like in the last two weeks like we've gotten there with the Cardinals but like
147:12they've been absolutely just dusted in the first half of these games like Brousette last week had four points at halftime the week before that he only
147:20had three and a half fantasy points at halftime and like eventually one of those is going to turn into the tide
147:24where they never get out of that hole That's like the one minor concern. Um, >> also teams hate being in those holes and
147:32we've seen like the Panthers have that mode. They they hit that mode last week, but they're also trying extremely hard to not get down
147:43like that.
147:43>> Yeah. You like play there's a difference between playing in shootouts and then constantly like just garbaging it up.
147:48>> Yeah.
147:49>> And they've been a little bit on the other side of it these last two weeks.
147:53Like if the Cardinals I don't think they'll do this, but if they shifted to the run this week, it wouldn't be crazy
148:01because they they're trying they're like, "Hey, let's let's try and keep this game close."
148:04>> Yeah. Let's like not be down 30 at halftime.
148:08>> Right.
148:09>> I mean, that game last week got thrown into like a crazy state immediately.
148:12Like Skymore runs that kickoff back to the one. I don't know how many NFL games have started with a one-yard touchdown.
148:17Uh but that one did. Then they punt the first they punt after like five play and the 49ers score in the next five plays.
148:23It's 13- nothing with five minutes of the game and like kind of just going off chaos. The other thing too that other
148:29element play in this game is that even though they dropped back 57 times last week and 49ers on a slate so we won't
148:36talk about like the 49ers didn't even sack Jacobe Britz like it that's how bad down bad the 49ers pass rush is is like
148:43they can't even get gifted a sack. The Jaguars once in a while can muster up a pass rush and it's like it's and Jonah
148:51Williams got put on IR today. Kelvin Beach left last week's games. Like they're probably going to face a better pass rush than last week, too. So, uh
148:59just we probably won't have that that pure flex run out, but they're going to have to throw a lot regardless. So, I
149:04think you just have to say yes, there's a t there is volatility in this matchup where it could be completely dumb and we
149:11just get nothing out of these Cardinals finally once. the match up. All this setup again, pass funnel, they're going to have to throw. Jaguars have also been
149:17way worse on the road. Like their last two road games, they gave up uh 36, so only technically 29 though because that
149:24Sheldon Rankins uh run back at the end of the game uh to the T to Davis Mills and they gave up 29 points to Gino Smith
149:31in the previous game on the road. So like you have that going for us.
149:36>> You do. And you've got Trey McBride who's just an absolute monster right now. Um, >> he is a wagon.
149:43>> He is a wag. He's the wagon of the week.
149:44Uh, expected points, uh, 18.1 and he's delivering 18.5 PPR points, uh, per game this year. Targets per route six. Since
149:56week six, 25 PPR point, 24 and a half.
149:59>> Yeah. I mean, his his recent stuff, I don't have the I don't I don't have touchdowns in here. I don't have the
150:03fantasy points in here, but yeah, I mean, he's he's producing pretty well in terms of the yardage and then just scoring a ton of points. He's getting a
150:10ton of double coverage um but drawing targets really consistently. And then like these these rate numbers are good if they're going to be paired with
150:19really high-end passing volume. I mean that's you know it's huge for fantasy.
150:25Michael Wilson um 35% first target rate last week. Now that's not going to hold like an elite number um for for the season. It's like
150:3524 25%. So that was kind of outrageous.
150:38I think that actually points to maybe even some more upside for McBride uh with Harrison now because he was only at
150:4418% last week and you know we could see that swing up. You know, we've seen him spike into the mid20s and I I could
150:49definitely see that again this week. Um >> and you know, he's just scoring so well.
150:55So McBride is just a smash here. But Wilson like this isn't an accident. They they were like we're going to make sure
151:01that we get Michael Wilson involved.
151:03He's he's the next man up. Not from a playing time perspective. He's been consistently out there, but they really treated him as the next man up on the
151:10play sheet. So, you know, he's not that good. He was driven by a specific game plan that really focused on getting the ball and um it probably
151:21won't be that focused on getting the ball this week. However, you know, he should probably I don't expect him to disappear either and um
151:29he's not super expensive. Uh so, I think he's in play again. He's not maybe a great play, but I think he's a
151:38totally fine play this week in DFS.
151:40>> Yep. Not underlying metrics were all pretty good. Even if there's a reduction, even if you do, you know, you go to 35 drop backs instead of 57. Uh,
151:47and then the everything lines up again.
151:49Jaguars are 31st and points allowed to wide receiver ones. Their outside receiver stuff is terrible. Uh, 26 in touchdown rate. It's like, and the pass
151:58like it just does, it just all comes again. Dorch is the one you'd be worried about because his usage was uh like he's
152:04the dude that got by in the box score through the through the game script the because he he only had what a 10 11%
152:10target share uh 6% of the team area yards. You got the touchdown. That's one if you're like you reduce the drop
152:16backs. Uh it's bad. Xavier Weaver operated as the wide receiver too. Dorch was still like for the primary slot.
152:23>> Uh just Weaver exercised the whole game.
152:25>> Dorch had a 15% targets per route run.
152:28um he would be the guy I'd be sketchy on. But I think the way this slate plays out too well like and your season long
152:34stuff like I think Wilson's like a actual just like fine like wide receiver too in like season long stuff right now
152:39and then at 4,800 he just fits a lot of the way you're going to want to build this week because you need like some sub
152:455k receivers.
152:47>> Yeah. When I say he's like not a great play it's because he's probably going to be pretty chalky. cool because he just
152:52had he was just the nuts and >> yeah, >> we know how this goes >> for season long and all that stuff like
152:59yeah there's there's spots where I'm like am I Michael Wilson's you know starting here and I'm benching other dudes to fit Wilson in like yep you are
153:08you know >> we're I'm in a I'm in a main event and we I was at my buddy's house last Saturday and we just didn't want to play
153:14Mooney and it was like ah let's just pick out Michael Wilson who cares and we >> like we just didn't want it just worked
153:19it was like cool like so again this We get to play him again this week, too.
153:23So, it's like, all right, complete luck box into that.
153:27>> Yeah. I mean, he's he's a very strong play at 4,800.
153:31>> Yeah. I mean, he's just really solid and and and we could be undercutting it still, too, because the matchup is just
153:35as bad like as it or as good as it was last week, depending you look at it like >> Yep.
153:43Yeah. I mean, if it's more competitive, like we don't need necessarily need like the that game script we got last week.
153:47>> We're not counting on 18 targets.
153:51No, we're not. We're also like the thing with the Cardinals is they've been so aggressive in terms of the the pass rate
153:59that if you if you give them, you know, an expected pass rate of of 63%, like we can hit a 70% pass rate. We could, but
154:08it doesn't have it doesn't have to be from them getting crushed like putting in we don't need the garbage time stuff.
154:14In fact, I would prefer not to have it.
154:15I would prefer them give me like a 58%.
154:19Have them be a slight lead all game and then they can pass, you know, be like the Chiefs, you know, like the Bengals,
154:24like when they actually aren't getting crushed, where you're like you're dictating the pass a little bit to to an opponent where they're worse at stopping
154:33the pass than they are at stopping the run. Uh on the Jaguars side of this, I mean there's some optimism here I would
154:41say for Trevor Lawrence as far as the efficiency goes. But I am starting to view where the because because last week
154:50Trevor Lawrence had a 69th percentile mark in EPA per play, second highest of the year and 97th percentile in success rate by far is highest of the year. But
155:00you also had a team that was really really runheavy and they ran I believe 41 or 42 carries to running backs um
155:10last week now >> and since the buy they've kind of done that.
155:14>> Yeah. 51 63 and 37% pass rates. This is tied with the Jets for the second lowest pass rate of the year. Seahawks have
155:23passed 26% of the time a few weeks ago and that was that's the low the low mark for 2025 but 37%'s extremely low. Uh we
155:33saw them rolling Bashalt Tutin and Travis ETN and then Laquent Allen had eight carries on the final drive totaling yeah 42 carries to running
155:43backs last week 19 ETN 15 Tooten Lquin Allen eight. Um, I think I'm starting to think about them as kind of maybe like
155:52Seahawks without the defense where they're just like we're trying to limit Trevor Lawrence, but utilize him in, you know, there there's some things he does
156:02do well. Let's limit the amount of uh dependence that we have on him and use the run game to kind of move the chains.
156:09They have a much more interesting and exciting run game, I would say, actually, than the Seahawks where both backs have played well this year. Uh,
156:17Toutton's kind of like the the burst guy. He's breaking tackles. He also ran like a 43540. So, yeah, I do think some
156:24long runs are >> Yeah, we haven't seen him yet. We haven't seen like the big explosives yet, >> dude. We almost got it. I I don't know
156:29if you that that run where he was like stumbling. He like almost kept his feet and uh >> he's not on injury report either. The
156:36final injury report.
156:37>> Oh my god. Are you serious?
156:39>> Yeah, they just announced it. They did roll a BTJ by the way. Uh, we get that.
156:43>> They did. Okay.
156:44>> Yeah. So, but that tune's not even on the injury report.
156:50>> I'm playing so much Dutton.
156:52>> I think he's playing cuz what's the what's like the real difference between him and David Montgomery?
156:57>> Wait, I'm seeing limited. I'm seeing limited.
157:00>> He's he's on the final injury report.
157:02He's not uh he has no game status.
157:05>> Okay. Oh, okay. All right.
157:06>> Like he's not questionable. He's not >> Oh, beautiful.
157:10>> Like he's you I mean like Yeah, he's >> Oh, yeah. I see. Okay. Yeah, the status I see. Yeah. Nothing. Yeah. Like uh that
157:15I mean he's not even questionable. Like he's not like he's not he is that means he's like he's a go.
157:20>> He's a go. Oh man.
157:23>> Let's go.
157:24>> Cuz I think like what there's not a big difference I think between him and David Montgomery because you're kind of
157:28looking at the touchdown and he's interchangeable too if they stick with last week because ETN's dealing with the shoulder too. So they kind of made them
157:36both interchangeable. First quarter two and six touches ETN three. First half, eight touches for two and six for ETN.
157:43Threw threequarters, 14 for two and 12 for ETN. So it was like a 50. It was like literally 50.
157:49>> When he left, it was it was 15 to 13.
157:52>> Yeah.
157:52>> Um when he, you know, he got hurt >> and the Cardinals um or getting Will Johnson back, who has significantly made
158:00their pass defense better, >> he's been really good. Yeah.
158:02>> Maybe it doesn't matter uh for them at this point of the season, but their run game uh run defense has been awful these
158:08like past five weeks. Uh they're 27th in yards per carry to running backs, 26th in yards per game, and they're going
158:13against a team that has swerved into the run more as the season has progressed.
158:17They've also a lot of top 10 fantasy score in three of those five games. So there, I think, is meat on the bone here
158:23for both guys to still be utilized. And it is a kind of wide open slate, 4600.
158:28Uh like I said, I I don't see like a real seismic difference between him and David Montgomery.
158:35>> I don't either. I think um like last week could have been the type of game where we're all talking about
158:44like oh did Bashalt Tutin just take over the Jaguars but then he gets hurt.
158:49Everyone who was excited about Tutin and look I mean I will Toutin is my highest drafted running back in baseball. So I want this to
158:58happen. There's definitely some bias here but I also think it is happening.
159:02Like I think he's I he looks awesome out there and he gives them this kind of power element. What I think is happening
159:09is not that he's like fully taking over the backfield, but that this is a team that wants to shift to the run with a
159:16quarterback who's been really inconsistent. There's like rumblings like that maybe he's not the dude for this regime. Like they might try to make
159:23a move in the offseason or whatever.
159:25like he has not secured himself as the long-term starter for Liam Cohen and uh whatever their 31-year-old GM's name is
159:34now I'm blanking but um James Gladson yeah th those guys like this you know you get one shot usually as a as a head
159:43coach GM like day ball never got got his guy he got his guy and he got fired halfway into the dude's rookie season
159:50like you tie yourself to a quarterback you don't want it can end badly for you so I think they could end
159:55moving on. Like that's that could be where they're starting to lean. At the very least, I think they think their best chance of
160:02winning games is to pound the rock and and that is going to involve both running backs. I think going forward, I
160:08think both guys are going to have pretty big roles. But >> but Toutton honestly more than ETN has been the consistent guy all season. Like
160:16Tutin is running back three in success rate. He has a 52% success rate. That is elite. He is breaking tackles. He's
160:22running back nine in elusive rating. We aren't seeing the breakaway runs yet, but again, he's got the speed. He almost popped one last week. I think we get
160:30those. ETN has had really strong breakaway numbers. He's running back 12 in breakaway yards per game. The success rate is not awful, but it's it's not
160:38great. He's running back 25 there. And so, as like a Thunder Lightning thing, it makes sense to incorporate Tuton. The upside is that he is thunder and
160:47lightning, right? He is the storm.
160:50That's that's what I'm hoping. But even if he's not, even if he's just the Thunder, this is a this is a week where,
160:55you know, he gets like 12 carries, scores a touchdown, you're very happy.
160:58>> And that's what I think like a lot of people are telling themselves about David Montgomery. That's why I kind of
161:02made the exact, you know, >> or Stevenson. I think he's he's kind of Stevenson, but I would I'd much rather play him than than Reandre Stevenson.
161:10He's cheaper >> and I feel more confident about >> Well, him not being on the injury report, too, where you're just like I
161:15said, like, >> you know, he's he's a go, >> man. Dude, I was so bummed last week when the an because it it looked like
161:23high ankle, you know.
161:25>> Yeah, >> he's out four to six weeks. It's late in the season. He's basically done.
161:31>> So, man, >> we we survived.
161:33>> We survived. We survived. Anything on this passing game? Not a whole lot just because they've gone so much into the
161:39run and then Will Johnson coming back.
161:40But at least BTJ being out keeps it kind of relatively concentrated between Washington and Meyers because we saw Myers get a little bit more last week
161:48especially like in terms of first read stuff. Uh he had more stuff dialed up for him because eventually I still think
161:54Washington's going to end up getting squeezed because he's going to be the primary slot guy and that's just if you're going to be on a runheavy team
162:00and be the primary slot guy, you're probably going to end up getting mushed a little bit. But as with BTJ being out
162:05at least keeps him alive for your season long flex wide receiver flexus type stuff. Same thing with Meyers. Um just you need to get pushed here into a
162:14better game state which also is in the R realm of possibilities too like this.
162:17There's a way this game could actually turn into being more fun too on the for the Jaguars.
162:24>> Jacobe Mars is 4700. I I think he's somewhat interesting. um he's had a decent connection with uh with Trevor
162:32Lawrence and Lawrence like was decently efficient gets a good matchup even even with Will Johnson back. I don't think this is like a super scary matchup. Um
162:42they don't really have much of a pass rush. So, kind of um you know, a little bit more limited, maybe some more play
162:48action using the run game, and then you're kind of efficiently uh I don't love Lawrence here because I don't think you're going to get a lot of
162:55volume, but Jacobe Myers is is somewhat interesting. 2.56 yards per hour running 3.20 over the last two weeks.
163:02>> We've already seen with Lawrence, even like with if you want even wanted to change smashups, like he he hasn't been
163:06that that dude. Like, you can't >> like he's all of his spike weeks have come with rushing touchdowns.
163:16Yeah, I don't know what it is with him, man. He He was like, because I've been looking at some of the the quarterback
163:23stuff. I've been digging into the quarterback class coming in a little bit and uh looking back at some of the, you
163:28know, past quarterbacks and like Lawrence was a re I mean, obviously he was considered like generational stuff, but all the stuff I look at, he was
163:35still a really good prospect. He really was. It wasn't just it wasn't just hype.
163:39Like he was a really good prospect. um just hasn't just hasn't happened.
163:45>> No. And I think early on in the season, Cohen wanted to adapt him to the stuff Cohen wanted to do, the quick passing
163:50game and be a little more pass heavy and it just wasn't working out and he calibrated as the season went on.
163:58>> Yeah. Well, hand the ball off to Balt we'll we'll be happy with that.
164:04>> Yeah. I mean, and and that's the one thing that that this game could get bogged down if they're just running the
164:07ball that effectively, but like said, it's it's still in the realm of possibilities that like a couple weeks ago when they played the Raiders, right?
164:14Like it still ended up being a pretty fun game for fantasy football. So, like that still definitely exists on the table here if you are chasing a a Meyers
164:22or a Park Parker Washington as well.
164:24>> Yeah. And I I don't think this is the Seahawks or, you know, some sometimes the Packers, right? or like these teams
164:31that are just going to like grind it out running the ball. This is a run game that can be efficient and explosive. So,
164:37this game could be fun with a run again to bring it back to the Lions. That's that's maybe more that might actually be
164:44a better comparison in a lot of ways as opposed to the Seahawks of like what they're trying to get to. Um, which I
164:50think they could pull it off. Both these running backs look good. Uh, Falcons at Saints.
164:56Um, so we're not we're not closing with this game. We've got one more game left, don't worry.
165:03>> But this game, man, I you know what?
165:06I've I've been bearish on a number of quarterbacks. Um, but I'm just really excited for Kirk Cousin.
165:13I I do think that we are starting to see some flashes from Tyler Shuck uh as an
165:25inconsistent but potentially you know a little bit a little bit of like downfield pop 82nd percentile in e paper play against the Panthers who's 30th
165:33percentile in success rate but like what you said about Shador Sanders is like not being the Dylan Gabriel where it's just like always bad like We're
165:42never getting this is like the premium version where like Rattler's your good Dylan Gabriel and Chuck might be like the more fun kind of Sandersy type where
165:51like it's inconsistent but there actually are some plays. Uh I think from the perspective of Chris Olive, you know, maybe maybe Shuck is enough. Um
166:03Olive had four yards per outr run against the Panthers, >> uh 2.38 against the Rams.
166:10>> It is just him now.
166:12But like he was profiling as this like ridiculous positive aggression candidate and he actually isn't anymore. He's like running a little bit cold, but he's 1.85
166:21yards per route run. He has a 28% target share. He's delivering semi-efficiently on an elite role. Um or at least, you
166:30know, a high-end role. Uh you know, 15.9 expected points per game. like it's a boom bust setup because the quarterback play I don't think is good,
166:41but there's maybe enough from Shuck where uh he can support Chris Olive just getting fed.
166:48>> Yeah, I have him in uh kind of my tournament section this week too. Uh 30% of the team 31% of team target 52% of
166:56the area yards that last game without Rasheed Shahed. Uh the Falcons are one of those teams that like don't really alter the coverages they play. they they
167:03they play cover three at the highest rate in the league, single high. Um, and that's where a gets all his targets
167:09anyway. So, I think he's pretty interesting. The I think it'll be a lot more volatile because when we talked about struck two weeks though because
167:16they run by. We had a little bit of optimism because the Panthers match up because the Panthers just can't rush the
167:21passer. Uh, and that's the opposite here. Even though the Falcons have gotten pretty bad offense, defensively overall, they're still blitzing a lot
167:29and getting a lot of pressure. And that's just like the one worry you still have when pressured. So far he's six of
167:3421 passing. Um, but you keep him clean, like he'll he'll push the ball. Like that's what he wants to do as a
167:41quarterback and as a prospect. So if you can keep him clean, he's going to take his shots. And he has arm he has legit
167:45arm strength.
167:46>> Like he he can he can actually throw the football. It's just the whole thing here is that can he stay clean in this game?
167:52Atlanta 13th in press rate, second in blitz rate. Also 52% of their blitzes get pressure, which is third in the league.
167:59Uh, so it's like they're not one of these teams that's like blitzing for the hell of it. Like their blitzes are
168:03effective. Um, so yeah, so this is just one of the spots I think there's some volatility here, but they're home favorites because the the Falcons are in
168:12in this just like sad, horrible state of affairs right now. I mean, the Falcons, think about this, like what is it two of
168:18their past three games we've seen them or no, two of the past four, they got absolutely just gashed by Tua and then
168:25they got absolutely gashed by Bryce Young. like >> right >> so I mean who's to say >> I know it's it's this is a more
168:37difficult setup but um for Shuck but >> the Falcons have been very like boom bust you know >> they've they've turned in some really
168:46really strong performances um but like you beat the Bills and you lost to the Dolphins although the Bills also lost to the Dolphins but you know
168:55>> and that was a Kurt Cousins game too but like the defense was objectively terrible that game.
168:59>> Right. Right. Yeah. And that that's really what it is. It's like they they I mean and they the the they've lost twice
169:06now to the Panthers, but they, you know, lost 30 to nothing the first game. So, they kind of play this high variance
169:12style, I think, on defense with all the blitzing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Uh I think, you know, there is some upside
169:20here for the Saints. At the same time, you could see Shock melt down. I mean, his success rate has been very poor. Uh,
169:27and so yeah, this could be this could be a spot where no one does anything.
169:32>> Correct. He wouldn't be someone I'm not like he would just be like two QB. You have >> Oh, yeah.
169:37>> You have to play a guy.
169:38>> It's can he support Olive is really what I I'm not that interested in Dan Jawan Johnson here. Um I just don't think he
169:45has much upside in this matchup.
169:47>> Um he he runs a lot of routes so I guess you know season long stuff. Sure. Um, >> Chimera, this would be this. They're a
169:56little Chiefsish. It dude, it would have been so funny if they traded for Bree Hall, but they could kind of use him like they
170:04need explosiveness.
170:06And uh, the Falcons are a pretty big run funnel right now and they're not good against the run. They're 25th in DVOA,
170:1227th in EPA, 29th in success rate. You can run on them. The problem is that Chimera, he's coming off 59% carry share
170:20to Deon Neil's 11%.
170:22But like his rushing profile is so bad.
170:26It's just uh no like consistency, burst, explosiveness, tackle breaking, like none of it's there. Even as a receiver, he's he's running back 35 and yards per
170:35route run. Like it's really rough. But I I don't think I don't see how they don't just like give him a bunch of touches.
170:43So, if you're like in the, you know, I'm starting Alvin Camar in a seasonl long league game, I think this is one of the
170:49weeks you do it.
170:50>> Yeah. Yeah. That's and Yeah. And he's tough to take a bite on in uh that price range we talked about for DFS because
170:57>> since Ta Mills since Taesm Mills come back, he has every every uh rushing attempt inside the five yard line. So,
171:03>> what what is the deal with that?
171:05>> It's he survived like three different regimes with this crap.
171:09>> Yeah. So even if you even even if you're getting kind of the run out for Chimera, >> like if they get inside the you might
171:15not get a touchdown still. So >> yeah, >> like, you know, you always have to worry about that. Like yeah, since Taesm's
171:23come back every single rushing attempt inside five, like come on, >> what are we doing?
171:29>> And they barely get in there. So like you can't like >> So Taesm Hills had one rushing attempt then. Yeah, it's like I think it's I
171:36think it's uh I think it's three or four. But he Chimera is zero. He Chimera hasn't scored a touchdown since week
171:41one.
171:43>> That used to be this thing >> when Herszik won BBM. He had what? Five touchdowns that one week. Six.
171:48>> Yeah. The Christmas Day the Christmas Day game. Then everyone knows the Christmas Day miracle game against the Vikings.
171:53>> Yeah. Uh Falcons side we have Kurt Cousins. He's played really badly. If you look at the last two years, so
172:02here's this year. Uh, PennX has been like totally fine in like kind of the Brassette range. Like maybe you're not like excited about it, but
172:11it's not been like the wheels have not fallen off. Cousins kind of down here with Shuck. The Shuck was really bad in
172:16his first start. It's been better recently, but like below Andy Dalton and Davis Mills and Joe Flacco and, you know, Russell Wilson. So, um,
172:25you know, not great, but last two years combined, he's not so bad. uh is still worse than Penn, but I don't know like
172:35could we get some of the 2024 Kirk Cousins? Um that would be a pretty big improvement and I don't know if it's there anymore.
172:44And also at the end of last year he was horrible. So it's really like the beginning of last year.
172:48>> Uh can you recapture that?
172:51>> And Drake is not playing.
172:53>> So now he he has one touchdown pass over his past 217 passes in the NFL.
173:00Oh man, >> that's a lot of passes.
173:05How many games is that?
173:06>> I tweeted that. It's like a nine game sample. Uh like and I tweeted and someone was like, "You're not counting
173:12the pick sixes." And I said, "You're right."
173:16>> Yeah. Um but yeah, I went back and looked because I was like, man, like I was like, "Holy shit." Like at the end
173:21of last year, like he didn't throw any touchdowns either. And then I was like, "Oh, wow." I was like, "Yeah, two 217."
173:26I went back and one touchdown. I really think they're gonna try to just hide him like they're gonna they're just gonna
173:32try to run Beijian as much as they can and like and and hopefully they can stay with it. You the Saints probably don't
173:39run away from them. So like the Dolphins did a couple weeks ago.
173:42>> So they'll probably I think they have to with no London like because London didn't play in that game either.
173:49They got to try to run the football more than they did that game against Dolphins. They uh they're averaging 4.2 yards per play with Kurt Cousins on the
173:57field.
173:58It's really rough.
174:00But >> yeah, >> it's just Robinson, right? Like you >> think Calit's floor stuff.
174:09>> Yeah, >> I can get with it's I wrote Mooney up as just saying like I think this is just the Jerry Judy situation.
174:18I compared it more to Michael Wilson where it's like he because you you do have the first read targets open up so
174:25much so you could get I don't expect him to spike like Michael Wilson but you never expect a Michael Wilson to spike
174:31like Michael Wilson just did.
174:33>> We had a sample he did play the the the game with Kurt Cousins against the Dolphins.
174:38>> That's true. Uh and let me pull that up because I don't think he did much.
174:43>> No, he had one catch for four on four targets.
174:46Mooney, do I not have the Oh, yeah. Mooney had a 3% first rate target rate. So, the first race did not go to him.
174:58>> Uh, 13% targets for our run. He's been out there, man. He's been out. They got to go somewhere.
175:03>> They got to go somewhere. I mean, it is.
175:04I mean, the Saints have allowed some wide receiver one production. If you get back at it, so did the Dolphins coming
175:08into that time. So, it's just like it's a thin week. I get it. I'm probably not gonna play him in DFS because just
175:14because Kirk Cousins has been so bad, but I >> I don't think I am either. Yeah, Pitts Pitts ultimately was the guy I kind of
175:20wrote it up as like, you know, this could be this week's Michael Wilson type of thing where like he's he's been out
175:25there. They just like decide that getting him the ball makes sense. Um they talked a little bit positively about him, but I kind of in later in the
175:32write up I was like the problem with comparing this to the Cardinals is that the Cardinals just passed a bazillion times last year and the Falcons are
175:42going to run the ball.
175:43>> Yeah. Yeah. And we have a we had a sample of like Brat actually like functionally playing okay, >> right?
175:48>> And like this just takes a leap of faith in every avenue. Every box we check takes it just takes a step of faith.
175:56>> Yeah. At least at least Pitts gives you like I I have Pitts uh in a seasonl long lineup right now and I I don't know. I
176:04don't feel great about it but you know it's fine >> and I get it if you have to play Mooney as like a wide receiver three flex. I
176:09totally understand. Like I get it.
176:12>> But yeah, he's not he's not like that cheap in DFS. We talked about like the gross receivers like a 80 Mitchell and
176:17stuff um or Luther Burton, but like I think I like Luther Burden more than Mooney straight up and Mooney is quite a
176:24bit more expensive. Uh, so you know, he is 4,800. So he's 1,200 more.
176:32>> He's the same price as Mike Wilson, >> right? And you're playing Wilson.
176:37>> Yeah. I mean, it's just And if he got there, like I wouldn't be like totally like flabbergasted like if he had like
176:4360 yards and a touchdown. But I don't think he's going to like go crazy because I just think they're going to
176:48run. They're going to try to run as much as possible >> for sure.
176:53That has to be that has to be what it's built out of. Like Kurt Cousins can't move. He can't throw down field.
177:00>> Do you have much interest in in Bejan here from uh DFS perspective? He's >> 8500.
177:06>> I initially was and like he's tracking to be like one of the top two highest projected guys and like that. Now I'm
177:13like, "Oh wow, the field is just like so dead set that he can't fail Cousins."
177:17I'm like, "I don't know."
177:19>> I like Gibbs more for sure.
177:20>> I do too. I also like Gibbs more.
177:23>> Yeah, but >> I mean I might even like Derrick Henry more to be honest, but you get the pass catching with Beijian.
177:29>> I I I like Bjun better than than Henry.
177:31But >> but I do like Gibbs. Like I would prioritize Gibbs the most.
177:36>> Gibbs is Gibbs might be my favorite running back play of the week to be honest. So >> yeah, I think he's mine too uh as well.
177:43So we can go down this road together.
177:45The L is [ __ ] >> hopefully. I mean, he was he was terrible the first game that they played, but if you go back to last year,
177:52even when Cousins was trash, he was still okay. Like he like it was just the Dolphins game like this year where
177:58you're like, how much do we lean into that being static? He had 12 touches for 48 yards. But in the small sample last
178:04year before Cousins was benched and Cousins wasn't doing any of that, like he still he went over 112 yards in three
178:09of those in all three of Cousins's last games before he was benched. So, >> and against the Saints, like I figure
178:14the Saints don't get completely away.
178:16They're gonna try. They're at least gonna try to give him the football a lot >> for sure. All right, let's close it out
178:22with the Eagles at Cowboys. Um the Eagles defense, we should probably start there. Uh how impressed are you with with what they've been doing?
178:34>> It's back to last year. Like this defense is good enough to to win them games, you know, even when they may like
178:40it's so good. I mean, >> they better be the one winning them games. Yeah, but you know, >> the offense isn't
178:45>> having Jaylen Carter back in healthy, getting the Kobe Dean back in healthy, adding the Jaylen Phillips uh trade, like it's and that's going to look so
178:54good and like when we get to the playoffs, like the that that third round pick for Jaylen Phillips.
179:00It's Yeah. And it's just really hard here from a DFS because like your season long stuff you're largely playing your stars like you're not benching George
179:07Pickkins, you're not benching CD Lamb, but like from a a ceiling perspective from like a DFS stance, it's hard to justify the salaries for these players
179:15even like like even if they have okay to good games, like they have to have like bonafide great games at the salaries and
179:23it's a hard to say that they're going to have those against the Eagles. Like CD Lamb has he he doesn't even have one 25
179:29point game and like do we expect that here? Pickins is two 30 point games but like do we expect that here? Like so the
179:36salaries are all juiced up on these guys.
179:40>> The upside I think is is named to Dory Jackson and he's not very good. He's the second outside corner.
179:48>> Um >> that's who they attacked in the first one the first game.
179:50>> Yeah. So among 104 qualifying corners um Cooper Deene who plays in the slot is 14th best in yards allowed per coverage
180:00snap. Kunan Mitchell ranks 18th. Adori Jackson who was benched at one point but is back ranks 95th.
180:06>> And I thought when they traded for Michael Carter like he like they would just move Deene back outside or play
180:12Michael Carter. And Michael Carter hasn't played.
180:14>> Deene's been really good in the slot. So I think they wanna >> Yeah, maybe. I don't know. I think maybe
180:19I think maybe that was just a if we need to go to it type of thing.
180:23>> That makes sense. Um the I I did this a little bit ahead of the Broncos game when this didn't work right. Um but like
180:33I had some faith that because of these two number ones that >> they were both solid in the Denver game.
180:39>> They were Dak wasn't. Dak was pretty inefficient.
180:42>> Yeah.
180:42>> And he's been bad in every game against a good defense this year except for the Packers game. And the Eagles have a good
180:48pass rush. They're they're fourth in quick pressure rates. So it could be like a similar thing where maybe Pickkins and Lamb are okay and you don't
180:55you don't bench them and excuse me bench them in season long but they don't have like the ceiling because Dak doesn't
181:01really go off. That's probably >> seven for 80 or something. You're just maybe you get a touchdown.
181:09>> Totally.
181:10But it's just tough to see like the big spike weeks because because of Dak. But at the same time, you know, they should
181:19be pushed at least a decent amount. It's tough to say if the Eagles are even pushing people, though. They're they're, you know, with the Cowboys, like the
181:27Eagles have not been pushing people.
181:29They could push the Cowboys because the Cowboys defense is bad. But will they even be capable of that is what I'm
181:33trying to spit out. And I'm not sure they will be. Uh, it really comes down to Saquon probably because Cowboys are
181:38very bad against the run. They're dead last in rushing success rate, 29th in DBA, 29th in EPA.
181:45So, can Saquon get going here with with Lane Johnson out? Um, the passing game feels very speculative at this point.
181:53And the Cowboys in general, I mean, they essentially have five new starters on defense because of the players they got back out of the buy and then the two
182:00trades. You know, they traded for Quinn Williams and Logan Wilson. Then they get Malik Hooker back, they get Don Wilson back, and they get Overshawn back. Um
182:09the Eagles this >> was really good.
182:11>> Yeah. I mean he's I mean before the trade he was like PFF's number one rated run defender like >> but he he was pressuring last week
182:19>> and yeah he got Yeah, he had a bunch of pressures. U Eagles have run 153 plays this year without Lane Johnson on the
182:25field. They averaged 4.2 yards per play on those snaps. They'd be ahead of only the Browns uh on the season.
182:32Uh Saquon Barkley has run the ball 51 times without Lane Johnson on the field for 140 yards. It's 2.7 yards per carry.
182:40He has two runs of 10 or more yards on those plays. And it's not even like he was incredible with Lane Johnson on the
182:46field, but he goes to 4.2 yards per carry up to an 11.3% run rate of 10 or more yards on the
182:52field on those 124 attempts. So, it's it is a seismic difference on those sample sizes as well. We don't know if Cam
182:59Jurgens is going to play too. I didn't see that one coming into the show, but it's like they might be down two
183:03offensive linemen as well. And like the Cowboys are just a team like I need more sample size with this defense to lean in
183:11on any of their seasonl long stuff or anything they did against or or anything they did against the Raiders.
183:16Like I don't I don't believe any of that either. So like I I I just need more I just need to see more.
183:24>> You don't believe they're just absolutely dominant now against >> No, I don't.
183:29Did you see the quote from from AJ Brown uh where they they someone asked him like speculation you're not the same
183:37player anymore?
183:38>> We got Dude, someone needs to get if I'm AJ Brown's agent like any you got to get microphones away from this dude like
183:45>> should he do the shad where he just mimes things? Are you are you in favor of >> money? I mean, if I'm a reporter, I'm
183:50asking him a bunch of weird [ __ ] But like, if I'm like agent, >> they didn't say, "How do you think
183:55Saquon's did done this year?" They say, "Are have you fallen off?" He's like, "I guess Saquon ain't the same player either then." Which is kind of I mean,
184:02he's I'm team AJ Brown with all this stuff, by the way. Like, he's right.
184:06This this offense, it's the the coordinator's not been impressive.
184:10>> Oh, no. We're We're approaching a to zone here for this.
184:14>> Get them Get him the Patriots. Get him the Patriots. I just want him to play Drake May.
184:19>> I think he's really I think he is extra pissed off about not being traded.
184:25I think he was kind of hoping he would be.
184:28>> I think he will be this offseason unless this gets turned around.
184:31>> I mean, I genuinely the Eagles are weird because a lot of people compare him to like the Chiefs teams that kind of
184:35meandered their way through on defense and like but the difference between this is none of the I swear to God none of
184:41these Eagles enjoying playing football this year. Like I don't think anyone there the vibes are like legitimately like all time bad. Like
184:50>> it's it's Seahawks. I I don't think it's Chiefs. I think it's Seahawks. Like like >> it's it's Russell Wilsony, right? It's
184:57like we we can't feature the quarterback. We We have this style of play where we get production. I said I brought this up with uh with Ray on our
185:07show like when's the last play you could remember like an Eagles pass catcher like running with the football in the on
185:13the field like I can't even think of a play dude like all their stuff is hitches >> got yak >> it's just it's dude it's just hitches
185:24and go routes this is like all they run >> nothing creative to get the guys like because AJ Brown's whole bread and
185:31butter for his career was like operating like you get this dude on like a dig or a slant like you can't tackle him.
185:37>> Totally.
185:38>> And >> he's a yak guy. I mean he can do everything but he's awesome after the catch.
185:43>> And all their yak that Devonte Smith and AJ Brown have or when they just catch a vertical ball that they're behind
185:48someone on.
185:49>> Right. Like >> right >> and they're playing a team that's just going to play zone coverage the entire game again like they did in week one.
185:57Um, I will say like if you do look at it objectively, like the Cowboys, even if you believe that their defense could be
186:02better moving forward, the still weakest part of this unit right now, the defense side of the ball, these cornerbacks, and you would say like they we would still
186:10want to attack them. The first time these teams played, Jaylen Herz had his lowest target rate to wide receivers in his career. Um, and we kind of talked
186:18about it that week. I was like, it'll be a one-off, you know, matter played a lot of zone. I'm like, we're just at this
186:23they just don't do anything creative.
186:27Yeah, I mean they did they did go to man the one week against uh Commanders, but that's because they were just like, "We
186:31don't respect your receivers at all."
186:33And it worked.
186:33>> Uh but other than that, yeah, they're they're very zone heavy.
186:36>> I I mean, you can say that because and it's it's true, right? It's factually true that the weak part uh a weakness to
186:45attack on the Cowboys defense is is the quarterbacks.
186:49Will that be what the Eagles do? because I think this run defense is also a weak point that you can talk yourself into.
186:56And >> over the last four games, pass rates of 52, 53, 50, and 47% and often fighting game script to get there. Um, we did see
187:07them go pass heavy against the Broncos.
187:10Um, that was very competitive game. They went pass heavy in that first matchup with the Giants, which they were trailing in. But when they're playing
187:18the game they want to play, uh, we're seeing them go run heavy very very consistently. And I think that's what they're going to do. I think that's what
187:28they're going to do.
187:30>> Uh, at least that if they if you do do Jaylen Herz stuff that Herz and the and both Devonte Smith and AJ Brown are
187:39relatively cheap, so at least you can talk yourself into that.
187:42>> I think it's a single though.
187:44>> Yeah. Oh god.
187:45>> Not Dublin. I mean, Herz Herz in the first game had his highest scramble rate because it was just he saw nothing and
187:52>> all the first stuff got taken away, so he just ran. Had his highest scramble rate of his career in that game in week
187:56one.
187:57>> There's some signal stuff for Devonte Smith if you believe in it. I would probably lean him, but they might just
188:02do the thing where they overly force the ball to AJ Brown again. So >> yeah, I don't know that um like I
188:11that's what they did last week and it didn't work and then uh >> it feels like it's a cycle, right? Like
188:16AJ Brown doesn't get targeted. He says something through some social media back channel. They overly target him then the next week they know it's like
188:25>> Yeah, but but what happens when they that happened then they overly targeted him? He had a 35% first read target rate
188:30last week, the highest of the season.
188:32that ties Devonte Smith's high for the season. They like really really tried to get him the ball. Um it didn't work
188:39though. He had 1.58 yards per out run and then he made another comment this week about how I guess Saquon's falling
188:45off like they does it happen again or is it like that we tried it and now we're going back to Devonte.
188:52>> Yeah. I don't know. But all the stuff for this matchup, the underlying stuff is bad. Uh, and it sucks because you see
188:59Cowboys, Cowboys at home. Like these are spots we've attacked the whole season. Um, but you know, Jaylen Herz has been one of the worst,
189:08you know, players uh against one of the worst passers against zone coverage this year. Um, he's 17th in completion rate, 22nd yards for passive, 18th in
189:17touchdown rate. Um, he's bad with Lane Johnson off the field uh on his drop backs. He's only completed 57.6% 6% of
189:26the passes with Lane Johnson off the field, 6.8 yards for pass attempts.
189:29Those would be 33rd and 22nd if they were full season stats. But again, Cowboys at home, like that's all we're hanging on to, right? Is that is that
189:37not it? Like that's all >> that's it. Yeah. Do you have much interest in uh the home running back Javvante Williams here?
189:45>> Uh no, because uh he's meandered into the zone we talked about with Judkins a little bit and thing like he's not
189:51getting any catches. Um he has 19 receiving yards over his past six games.
189:57He has had one catch in five of the past six games. And then we talked about earlier Jaylen Carter. Uh Jaylen Carter
190:02didn't play in the first game because he got ejected after the kickoff. But they've now faced 144 runs with Carter on the field. They've only allowed 3.6
190:10yards per carry, 0.97 yards for contact on those runs. Like you got to get touchdowns out of Javantics. He's not catching passes.
190:19>> Yeah. He's had over the last three weeks six three and 3% target share. So they're just not involving him.
190:26>> This is a crazy game because it's like you see this and you're like Cowboys Eagles in Dallas. Yes. That's your
190:32initial reaction, right?
190:33>> Your initial reaction. Yeah. This is like marquee. I don't know who's doing the the coverage, but it'll be, you know, one of the top announcing teams.
190:40>> Yeah. Um and but like when you start digging under the hood, you're like the objective upside is like kind of low.
190:48And I actually could see even if you even if the Cowboys score like 21 24 points because of the salaries on the
190:54Dallas side, it's hard to say like, well, what kind of games do those guys have to have? Because if you're going to
191:00play CD Lamb, that means you're foregoing like an Aman Raw, you know?
191:05>> No thanks.
191:06>> Right. Like that's >> We talked about this a little bit last week with the Chargers guys. Like it was like, oh, there's some intrigue here.
191:12Maybe we could play Lad. It's like, well, if you play Lad, you can't play any of these other guys. That's kind of
191:16where we are. like you got to play George Pickkins like you can't play Rasheed Rice like or sorry Stefan Diggs like
191:25>> yeah and I and yeah it's just it's just tough I mean you could see them getting there to an extent but pickings at 6900
191:33>> but like for a tournament score >> for a tournament score yeah >> that's I think season long you just roll
191:39them out because the Denver game they both had solid games still but for spike week stuff it's hard to really justify. They're going to definitely try
191:48to move Lamb around. They did that in the first game.
191:51>> Yeah, but moving him around doesn't help that much here.
191:56>> Outside is >> depending on which guy you get.
192:00>> But >> yeah, I mean, like I said, he's he's he he's what 125 point game.
192:06>> It's just tough, man, because we should be excited. We should be excited.
192:10>> So, we did close with a bummer of a game ultimately. But I mean I Are you going to Are you still going to try to force
192:16this one at all? Like one >> I don't think so.
192:20>> One single entry?
192:21>> I don't think I am. If I was, it'd be Herz.
192:25>> Herz. Devonte Smith, I think, would be the one thing I could talk myself into because you can at least get the pushing
192:31of the tushing and the maybe one run out for the receiver.
192:36>> That that feels the most prudent way to do it. Hurts. AJ Brown is the is the more bonkers way to go, which I
192:43>> yeah, >> I find appealing on some level. Um >> because Herz is affordable at least in like as as bad as he's been like he
192:51still has scored fantasy points.
192:53>> I mean the the tush pushing helps.
192:55>> It does.
192:56>> We got to we got to get the tush pushing fantasy points in the lineup before they ban it this year. Don't run it four
193:00times in a row if you don't want it to get banned. You know that's that's what was it against? This was like a
193:05month ago now. But >> Well, yeah. Especially if they're going to not officiate it correctly either.
193:10>> A dude, I hate it. I hate the false start thing. It's so easy to see, right?
193:14>> Do you remember when the they played the Vikings and the Vikings just had that guy lay down, like that one defender
193:19come in and just lay down before the push push?
193:21>> Yeah.
193:23>> And he was a practice squad guy. He got called up to be the >> absolutely incredible. Imagine that.
193:29Like y like, "I'm up this week. Watch the game. Watch the game."
193:35Lores is like trying to get back in, you know, the head coaching circles and part of the issue before was like him not
193:43being a real players guy. So, calling up a practice squad lineman and having him lay down while everyone steps on him,
193:50maybe not reputationally the best move, >> but it's just Yeah, this is it's it's just a tricky game, man, for for fantasy
193:59purposes because Lane Johnson injury, Dallas shakeup on defense, >> the fact that the Eagles have been trying to ice skate uphill the entire
194:07season, like it's just >> Yeah, it's just frustrating because they're like it's it's very Packersy.
194:14you know, where like they're they're pounding the rock, but they're not that efficient at doing it. And they were pretty efficient last year, so it feels
194:21like it should be more fun than it actually is. But the defense is so good, they're just going to keep playing this
194:26way, and it's probably going to keep working mostly.
194:28>> And yeah, I mean, because the defense is legitimately >> the defense is what we thought the Packers might be, right? The defense is
194:33actually awesome. Um, so and it's like getting better and better. So, all right. Uh, we should mention next
194:43week is Thanksgiving. Um, and it's looking like we're going to take the week off is uh is where things we'll let
194:49you know if that changes, but uh we're going to plan to take the week off next week. Um, our writing schedule is a
