0:11Reeves, how's it going?
0:12>> You know, it's going good. You know, I I don't check any of my basketball teams, so I have no idea how I was impacted by
0:18Kyle Pittz last night or or wasn't. But >> you don't check them all at even now.
0:23>> No, no, no, I never do. Well, I didn't do like I didn't really do any be uh underdogs this year. I did mostly
0:29DraftKings. So, uh I Isn't it like a pain to check?
0:32>> It actually is like kind of harder to check. There's no BMDB for that, >> right? Yeah. So, like I uh did check.
0:38So, but no, I like just not knowing because uh you know like JJ texted our in a thread I'm in. You don't have to
0:43put this out there JJ. I'm sorry, but like with like uh like with like Davis and Thorman and he's like I went up
0:49against Kyle Pitts in this many pods and I'm like dude it's 7:30 in the morning.
0:53I can't be like worried about like how Kyle Pitts like impact me like my kid to school. Like I like I this is like and I
0:59already have so many other sweats to deal with. Like I just can't add this to my portfolio. So I just like unwrapping
1:04it. The year you actually won basketball mania I had a team in the finals and it know like I just I had like I had like
1:12you know like a few thousand dollars just in my thing when I went into it. I was like oh cool like
1:18yeah cool. So it's because you can't do anything about it. I I just can't I have enough stress.
1:22>> That's true. That's true. But I mean, generally we like to sweat. I mean, you sweat your fantasy football match ups,
1:26you know, similar thing.
1:29>> Yeah. It's just like, >> yeah, I I haven't gone through and checked the pit stuff. I mean, I'm hoping I'm not in a bunch of ponds with
1:36pits, but, you know, we'll see. And I I tend to I don't tend to sweat. I basically this week I I think about the
1:44players I have a lot of. Like I'm I'm rooting for uh for Harold Fannon. You know, I've got a bunch of Harold Fannon,
1:50right? So, I'm rooting for Drake May, you know, and it's like if the players I drafted a bunch of and advanced a decent
1:57amount of um get, you know, have good games and I should probably be okay. And then hopefully those Kyle Pitts I'm
2:04going against Pits somewhere, I assume.
2:06And hopefully that team that I have in that pod stinks, right? So, like I just hope that's one of my bad teams, which
2:12you know you're going to have a bunch of. So, uh, once it gets >> gonna have a huge advance rate, but, uh,
2:17>> yeah, >> but there are still teams that probably have like Penn and >> Oh, I have one of those teams. I have I
2:24have two Kyle Pittz teams. One has Pennix and Daniel Jones on it. And so, it's down to Brock Pury. Luckily, it's a
2:29three quarterback team, so it does >> it has Pertie, but you know, you're like, if I could pick a team, handp pick
2:34a team to get to the final, it wouldn't be one with Penn and Daniel Jones on it, you know, >> so it was one out at quarterback. Um,
2:42but yeah, I've got a couple pits bejon teams. One is pretty good, but you know, we'll see. It's funny because a bunch more players are going to score
2:50a ton of points, too. So, pitch is not necessary, you know. We hope. We hope.
2:57>> Um, >> we hope Kyle Pittz isn't the only wagon of the week.
3:01>> Yeah. Should we just make Pits the wagon of the week?
3:04Yeah, it technically probably is, but >> there's no point in >> as someone that was super into Drake London though, it was a bummer to see
3:12cuz like he's basically just absorbed that role in the offense, which is what's going to be real fun about his uh
3:19free agency period because >> I was about to bring that up. He's going to make a lot of money. He's gonna make
3:24a lot of money because you look at the free agency class and people are talking about like, oh, Alec Pierce is gonna
3:30make, which he will and he's had a really good year, but I mean, depending on the type of team you are and what
3:37your needs are, I mean, Pitts, if you need a guy who can like catch the ball over the middle of the field versus a
3:43guy who can stretch the defense and, you know, catch deep balls, I don't know. Like, I I maybe I I I'm
3:50like, am I back in on Kyle Pitts? I think it depends where he goes because he he he's a still like and if I he's
3:56the type of player like if I was a GM I wouldn't give the bag to just because he can't block. Uh and like we've seen like
4:02now >> you want your tight end to kind of be able to >> he can block right is he is he that bad?
4:08>> I don't even know what he is but he's not good at >> he's not great but in 12 personnel all
4:14these teams are move like what if the Rams brought him in? What's it to me interesting will he just like replaces
4:19Travis Kelce like people be like a here we go.
4:23>> Yeah. Yeah.
4:25Yeah. I've thought about him with the Patriots too where they they need more more talent and they play a decent amount of 12 or at least a little. So,
4:33uh, anyway, >> but the Falcons shouldn't bring him back because they have Drake, like they already have Drake London. And I know he
4:39doesn't play now, but like Drake London, it took Drake London like opening these routes up for him because Drake London would just be doing all that stuff.
4:47>> Right. Right. Well, does he I mean, when he didn't they didn't pick up the fifthear option, right? Uh, or is this
4:54his fifth year option? This is your option. Okay.
4:56>> This is it. Okay.
4:59>> We thought they were going to trade him in the offseason. His run blocking grade is bad.
5:05>> Yeah, he's not he's not a good run blocker.
5:08>> Yeah. All right. Well, at least at least we got this. I have So, I'm in a dynasty league that's standard scoring.
5:16>> Um, you zero PPR and which is kind of strange for Dynasty. That's not But this Dynasty League is like >> we started in I think 2011, so it's been
5:25going for a while. and my team is not that good. But I made the fi or not the finals, I made the semis and it's two
5:34weeks, so I'm up like 20 points on my cousin from last week. And then I was like, I don't know, like I guess I'll
5:42start Kyle Pittz.
5:44I I honestly maybe I'll just start Luther Burden, but you know what? I should probably start Kyle Pitts. So I start I started Kyle Pitts. I'm like
5:51it's it's over. You can't come back from in standard scoring. You need touchdowns and yards to get like that. That was
5:58like four players I just started against.
6:01>> Yeah, you literally played four players.
6:02>> I played four players against I started to feel bad in standard scoring. What Kyle Pittz did is unbelievable.
6:10>> And I mean, listen, we we kicked off mains, too. Uh, and Gorillas, and he had 50. He had what, 48? 48 and a half.
6:17>> Oh my god. I actually need to check if I'm going against him in FFPC cuz that's that's a nightmare.
6:24huge open for those tournaments.
6:27>> Yeah. I mean, well, in the sprint, you're just gonna have to if you It's like a Kyle Pit team is going to win the
6:32main, right? Like that's it's just hard.
6:35>> Yeah.
6:35>> You keep these points like for >> all three weeks.
6:38>> All three weeks. So, yeah, he's going to be necessary there probably. Um all right, let's dive in. Uh we only have a
6:47little over three hours until I have to go. So, you know, it's we're actually tight for time.
6:51>> Yeah. 13 games. We have not had a uh 13 gamer.
6:55>> I know. It's It's uh This is the This is the longest walkthrough, I think, of the year, at least since back before the
7:02buys. Um so, yeah, covered covered the 13 game main slate. Let's kick off with the Ravens at Bengals. Um we've got,
7:12this is an interesting slate, by the way. We've got five late games. They all start at 4:25 and we have eight 1pm
7:19games. So, I think the the late window is actually a little bit more exciting, but we do have >> a couple really fun games early on.
7:28Ravens at Bengals being one of those.
7:30Um, >> no one has been bad against the Ravens or against the Bengals defense all year except Lamar Jackson. So, you know, what
7:41do you what do you do with that? Uh, I think here's the here's the chart of EPA per play in blue and success rate in
7:48green by every quarterback this this year. Flaco and Lawrence weren't so great, but then everybody's gotten there except Lamar Jackson a couple weeks ago.
7:56>> But, I mean, even with Lamar Jackson not playing at his best, like Carson Wentz had a 78th percentile mark in EPA play.
8:03Boicks was 82nd percentile. Justin Fields was 84th. Mason Rudolph was 95th.
8:08Like, uh, and Rogers was 60th. They both played in that game, but they God, I mean, you have to think Lamar
8:15will be much improved in this game, even if he's not vintage Lamar. So, what what are your thoughts starting with the with
8:22the Ravens?
8:23>> Yeah, I thought he looked a lot better physically last week, and that's subjective. It's just me. Um, but I did
8:28thought he looked like a when he actually took off and ran because he had been trying to scramble still for a
8:32couple weeks and just didn't really look right. Thought he looked better. He threw the football better and on paper he did too. his inaccurate throw rate
8:38was way down last week. They just didn't convert in the red zone and that's been kind of like one of their bugaboos all
8:44season is that they are one I think they're 30th in red zone conversion rate. They're really bad in short yardage too this year which is you know
8:51last year they were like the best short yardage team in the NFL. They're 29th and third in shorts this season.
8:56>> Do you think it's related to them never using their number one receiver in the red zone?
9:00>> It might be.
9:01>> Seems like it could hurt.
9:02>> And Derrick Henry's like splits in short yards real bad too. So, it's all the above and and Lamar was going to regress
9:07anyways because last year he threw a touchdown in 15% of his red zone throws.
9:11Like we knew like you weren't going to run that hot, but it regression sometimes oscillates in like an overhanded fashion sometimes like so
9:19that's kind of going on right now. I do agree with you though. I'm I'm more bullish on him here because the way the
9:24first matchup kind of played out, you know, we had the likely fumble uh the OPI on Flowers or the the touchdown
9:30comes back. He had a tuck rule fumble.
9:32Uh he had another interception uh that was tipped at the line of scrimmage that Mark Andrews was wide open for a
9:38touchdown. That was gonna be a touchdown >> and I I think that like they just lost a lot of high variance plays and you know
9:44that won't continue to happen. All it did last week, you know, losing the likely touchdown again. But I expect him to be a lot
9:51better and I expect this game to go a lot better particularly in the run game because remember Derrick Ken only had 11
9:56touches in the first game. That's I don't think going to play out in a similar fashion here.
10:02Yeah, I don't think so either. And the the Bengals run defense is bad. It's I mean their pass defense kind of gets the
10:08headlines, but um they're 31st in DBA, 30th EPA, 30th success rate. So, this is a this is a very exploitable run
10:14defense. I'm a little bit nervous on the Ravens side about their offensive approach where we've seen them go pretty conservative. Um
10:23>> 55% pass rate last week against the Steelers, a game they lost. Um, and they had a 72% expected pass rate. So, this
10:33is a team that's not like you're kind of looking for signs of like what's going on, you know, and we all kind of know
10:39Lamar's not right right now, but like this is a a pretty clear sign that Lamar's not right. When you're in a a
10:45must-win type of game or a very very important game with a your division rival, you're fighting to win the AFC North against and you're in script that
10:54calls for Lamar Jackson and you kind of hide him. that I think that's telling.
10:58So that that definitely makes me nervous um as far as like what version of Lamar we're going to get here, but then the
11:03match up's so easy that I do think we'll have more of a game from the Ravens at least. And Zay Flowers uh has had like
11:12one bad game since the truly one bad game since the week seven buy and not a ton of bad games all year, but he was
11:20awful um in yards per hour and 0.16 yards per hour and against the Bengals.
11:24So, um I think it's like more for me about on the Ravens side them being way better than they were the last time we
11:33saw them. I'm not sure they roll here.
11:36I'm more I'm honestly more excited about the Bengals where Burrow Burrow cost them the game at the end with two interceptions. Um one was tipped, right?
11:46But the the other he kind of someone compared it to Max Brosmer which was which was unfortunate but you know he
11:52just >> he just misjudged where the kind of player was in space how much air he needed to get under the ball and um that
12:00game ends up getting away from them but he was still by far the most efficient he's been all year. Uh 80th percentile
12:07in EPA per play 92nd percentile success rate. They kind of marched up and down on the Bills through the air and he was
12:14pretty well protected last week. Uh, which is important obviously and not something we can usually count on with the the Bengals offensive line. But the
12:22Ravens have not had a pass rush all season. No, >> since they've lost Mad, they basically have no have no pass rush answers.
12:28They're okay in coverage, but I mean Kyle Hamilton's like a an interesting piece. And they, you know, they're not like they it's not like they never get
12:36pressure, but this is not a a formidable pass rush by any means. They're 29th in pressure rate. So, I think that Burrow
12:43will have time to throw here, and I think he'll be better than he was against the Ravens when he was actually
12:48pretty solid on Thanksgiving, but it was his first game back from injury. Um, we're kind of back to where it's just
12:54Jamar Chase here like it was two weeks ago with Higgins out. Um, Chase is gonna get fed. He was the cover boy, the
13:01walkthrough where I think, you know, he's just I try to pick someone from the 1pm slate. You know, there were there
13:07were better options on the late slate, but um really really hard to see how he just doesn't get peppered with targets.
13:14And I think I think the Bengals are going to be very successful uh on offense and run the offense through the passing game as they almost
13:22always do. Last week against the Bills team that's been a huge runfunnel. They had a 7% pass rate over expected with a
13:2910% proe on first and 10. Bengals are are going to play their style of football.
13:34>> Yeah, the T. Higgins injury is like the is kind of looming here because we saw Burrow get his efficiency spike when
13:41Higgins came back and that was like the case all last year whenever Higgins played uh everything just shot up for him and even in that first game back
13:50it's like he was he threw the ball so many times he got over but was under six yards for pass attempt was pretty rough
13:57in the first half of that game that could just been knocking off some of the rust but Higgins Higgins being kind of
14:02off the field does kind of at least cast a shadow of like uh because remember they ran 80 plays in the first game like
14:08we can't count on that.
14:09>> No.
14:09>> Uh to repeat here so it's like oh if they have some reduced play volume and like Higgins is an impact like could
14:16this could this kind of rear its head again where we're doing this oh Higgins off the field there's not as much good
14:21as efficiency here because he he played awesome. He he clearly was playing concuss and now at this point we know he
14:25was and he still was awesome in that game and caught that one-handed touchdown where he literally was getting pass interference. didn't even throw a
14:32flag on that u that play which was crazy. But that's it. I that's really it though. We talked about it last week,
14:37you know, like how real is the Ravens defense? I was kind of like more bullish and like ah well they they held the Rams
14:42and they held the Bears and man Aaron Rogers was cooking them.
14:46>> Awesome. Like he looks better.
14:49>> Also like Aaron Rogers like I don't know if anyone's noticed like his beard like changes color as good as he's playing.
14:54It's like a health bar in like a video game. like two weeks ago against the Bills it was like just white like he was
15:00out of health and like he was like get me out of the game and like last week he was like he was like approaching Ryan
15:06Day territory where I was like is he coloring this thing like but he comes out and throws like a 52 yard pass to DK
15:11Metaf and it's like oh my gosh this dude's getting younger by the second like >> he looked he looked legitimately like
15:17there was his health was up last week >> he was like buying time on the run and like throwing like I was like what is he
15:23ran for a touchdown I was like what is >> he was he was willing he was willing to go out there and play football. He's not
15:28He was >> Dude, I mean, he he looks he was not afraid of getting hit.
15:33>> Honestly, he looked like Green Bay Aaron Rogers.
15:35>> He was awesome. He was awesome. So, >> yeah.
15:38>> Maybe maybe the Ravens are just kind of they got exposed a little bit those last two weeks.
15:42>> I've been making fun of Rogers for, you know, just getting the ball out as soon as he can and not taking hits. But I did
15:47I did enjoy Vintage Rogers last week. I' I'd be I'd sign up for that again.
15:52>> I think we all would. We we definitely don't want to watch what we saw for the last like previous five weeks before
15:57that.
15:58>> No, we don't. We don't. No one wants that. But yeah, I was dying though. I was like, "Oh my gosh, it's like it's
16:03like but I was like his beard looks it's it's like it's darker." Like it's like getting darker. Like I was like, "Oh my
16:08gosh, >> maybe it's the mushrooms, man. Maybe it took some mushrooms and it's got itself."
16:21Um, so now this week we don't know for sure um DFS-wise as as of right now. I'm not sure if Josh
16:30Jacobs is playing and that's gonna have a pretty big impact on the slate with Emanuel Wilson potentially opening up, but if Jacobs plays, this is a pretty
16:38tight slate to the point that I think Mitchell Tinsley will be pretty popular um or at least someone that we're all going to be
16:48thinking about playing uh on, you know, certainly if you're doing any kind of Bengals stuff. So, any thoughts on him >> because on DraftKings like he honestly
16:58is is one of the better punt plays?
17:01>> Yeah. Uh yeah, the Thanksgiving game he had he was targeted on 30% of his routes he had nine targets but remember they
17:08ran 80 plays. So like that will probably come down. But you don't you know if he can get turn six targets into something
17:13uh this would be a spot for and they're going to throw. We know that. So I I don't have I don't have a problem with
17:18him. I prefer him over Yoshvos. But we know like Yosh Yoshvash is just like a touchdown.
17:23>> He'll run more routes.
17:24>> He's a touchdown dependent guy though.
17:25Like you know what you're signing up for. I thought it was fun last week.
17:28They actually ran a play last week where Yosh was the Y and Gaseki was the wide receiver and I was like, "Yep, this
17:35checks out." I was like, you know, that's basically what >> this makes more sense for both people.
17:41>> Correct. But they actually ran a play where Yosh was the I was like, "Yep." I was like, "Yeah."
17:47Yeah. Yeah, I would be cautious on uh so if I was playing a non-chase Bengal, it would be Tinsley, Yosh, and Gaseki. I
17:54don't think I'd be chasing. I know Gaseki, he looked awesome in the snow, too. Gaseki's another dude like he was like everyone was like body catching
18:00everything and Gaseki was just out there snagging everything in that game.
18:03>> That's what he does. Yeah.
18:05>> But he only ran 17 routes both games uh the past two weeks. Like he's nothing's changed for him. They're playing four
18:11tight ends. He just he converted it. He just converted last week. So, I'd be a little cautious on chasing him. I would
18:17rather just outright punt and say, "My dude's gonna get me a zero or he's gonna get me something else." But, uh, because
18:23there are tight ends that are cheaper to play.
18:25>> There's a lot of tight ends on the slate. So, I I think I think Cassiki is playable, but 47% route participation
18:31last week. I mean, you're you're banking on him to have a really high targets per route run, which I think is a reasonable
18:37assumption. He he has a 20% on the year, um, which is 83rd percentile at tight end. He's 16% first read target rate. So
18:45like they are they are calling plays with him in mind when he's on the field.
18:47And with Higgins out, he should help pick up some of the slack. So I think he's okay. But like he's probably going
18:53to run a route on less than half of dropbacks. They're playing to your point Drew Sample, Noah Fant, and Tanner Hudson all get run in addition to
19:00Gasiki. So you just can't he's not it's not like his playing time is going to balloon here. Maybe it's a little bit
19:07more, but I mean two weeks ago he was at 40% against the Ravens. So, >> right, >> uh, you just cannot count on the the
19:12routes. Unfortunately, Tinsley was at 62% against the Ravens. He was at 77% the week before against the Patriots when Chase was out. Um, and he provides
19:23kind of a deep threat element. He is a 16 AOT this year, 16.3 against the Patriots, 15.9 last week. He has not
19:30produced 0.97 and 0.71 yards per run, but he is getting targeted in those games. He had a 20% targets per out run
19:37and and a 26%. So, he's you know what you're it's $3,100 to spend on I hope this guy catches a deep
19:46ball.
19:47>> Yeah, you know what you're doing.
19:48>> He might. He might.
19:49>> And if and if you're trying to when we get to it, you know, you stack Lions and and and Rams like you need
19:56someone down here to facilitate the because we put we do play with the roles of a salary cap unfortunately.
20:02>> Yeah. And it's tight ends and then Tinsley is kind of the the guys who jump out like because there's some 4,000 plus
20:07receivers that I think are interesting, but not a lot of guys in the threes.
20:10>> Yeah.
20:11>> Um so he is he is definitely someone to think about for DFS >> and I think like a totally fine play. Um
20:18not it's just very boom bust, you know.
20:20It's sort of like you're playing uh a little bit of a discount Rasheed Jahed is sort of what you're doing. You're
20:27playing him to get to um an anchor at the top though, like a stars and studs type of lineup, right? That's why you're
20:34not like plugging him in statically thinking he's just gonna open up a bunch of mid-range stuff. You're literally because you want to play Pukun and Jir
20:40Gibbs or >> or Jamar Chase or Eric Henry >> or Devonte Adams or like there's a lot of really good Amanra. There's a lot of
20:50good players at the top this this week.
20:52So, >> um and not a ton of punt options.
20:56Bengals uh running game. We've got Chase Brown last week had a little bit better of a role than I thought he would. He
21:03had 63% of the carries which was up from 45% against the Ravens two weeks ago. Um he's, you know, it's like a little bit tough
21:13because he's just not been efficient this year as a runner. Uh he's been okay as a receiver but not great. And so
21:20you're like if you get the work, he's great. and if you don't get the work, it's over immediately. Um, so where
21:28where you at on him?
21:29>> Yeah, similar to where we were last week. We thought, you know, there was a lot of fragility there and he he only
21:34had the 35 yards and he scored two touchdowns. Like, you know, that's just going to happen like but I think the
21:39assessment was right that he's profiling more as a like RB2 type of player and you hope that he converts with either
21:47efficiency or scoring opportunities. He did cash in the one, but he's basically like you look at all his usage last week, he's like the RB-15 in snapshare,
21:54the RB14 in backfield touches, the RB15 in route participation. Like it's just that's where I have him. Like he's like right in that like uh like upper end
22:03like higherend RB2 range, and then you you can run hot when the efficiency either lines up or the scoring opportunities cash in.
22:11>> Yep. to go back to the Ravens real quick. The um Mark Andrews has been dealing with with an injury, so if he were out,
22:20likely would be an absolute smash here, I think.
22:23>> Oh, everyone would get that. Yeah, everyone.
22:25>> Yeah, every Bengals are playing the the tight end here.
22:30>> Yeah. Um but with let's say Andrew Zan, do you any pieces from their passing game jump out to here? It would just be
22:39if you were playing Lamar and you were looking to stack him, it would for sure be with either one of the tight ends or
22:44potentially even both. Uh the the Bengals now have already allowed the most receiving yardage in a season to tight end since 2015. There's a month of
22:52football to be played.
22:54>> That's crazy.
22:55>> They are two touchdowns behind the alltime uh the season tight end record.
23:01Uh 17 is the most the 2013 Cardinals. Uh they've allowed 15 already. Uh, and the Bengals started their or the Ravens
23:08started their tight ends in the red zone. Like Mark Mark Andrews has a 29% target share in the red zone. He's a 35%
23:15target share and endzone targets.
23:17Likely's been a little more involved the past two weeks too because probably this Andrew stuff. Uh, so I think both guys
23:23are in play. I think in Lamar stacks. I don't know. I guess you could play these guys iso if you had a one if you had a
23:30favorite or if you just want >> I think you can. They're cheap enough.
23:32They're both under 4K.
23:33>> Yeah. But I think if I was stacking Lamar be for sure because we talk about Flyers like they like the it's pretty
23:38tried and true like all season the Bengals just don't give up points to wide receivers. Uh 31% of the points they've allowed this season to wide
23:44receivers. The next closest team is at 40.9%. So it's like a 10% difference.
23:49They've only allowed one 100 yard receiver and it was 100 yards on the button to RAW in week five. So it's just
23:56like I don't I think like even if Flowers were to convert a touchdown, I don't think like last week there's a
24:01ceiling opportunity here.
24:04I will note uh the health stuff is a little bit of question mark so keep an eye on that. But Mark Andrews was up to
24:1086% route participation last week which was a season high. He had uh his worst first rate target rate of the year at 3%
24:17and only 6% targets per hour.
24:20>> Yeah, but I mean for real like they something changed last week where they played him way more. So >> got paid.
24:26>> He got paid. Maybe that continues. if he's if he's like good to go, then I think Andrews is actually pretty nice
24:33play here uh given the the tight end matchup uh that that you laid out there.
24:38Um all right, let's go to the Bills at Patriots. Uh the rematch, the revenge of the revenge. Bills getting their their
24:47revenge back on Stefon Diggs for for >> kind of like huge game in the vael era, >> I guess. Yeah, that's that's true
24:54because the first game against the Bills was the their first like challenge, but no one really there weren't stakes because it's like what's
25:02>> Yeah, >> it's just a young pluckucky team, right?
25:05But now it's like this this game has like playoff implications >> division like if Well, they win the division like basically win the division
25:12if they win this game.
25:14>> Boom. I mean, that's that's huge. So, um you know, I I'll start with the Patriots. I'll do I'll do the Drake May
25:22stuff. I mean, he's uh number one in EPA per game this season. Um he's uh you know, he the the talking points against
25:32him or the schedule, which actually is not really true for the Patriots in terms of the defenses that they've played. They've played some tough
25:37defenses.
25:39>> We'll get to with their what' you say >> just their quarterback their opposing quarterbacks.
25:43>> Their oppos Yeah, we'll get to that because their defense, I think, is kind of a schedule merchant, but I don't
25:47think May is. Um he has not thrown a 300 yard passing game this year, but he's thrown 200 yards in every game and 250
25:5310 times. So he's just been super super consistent. Um and he gets a Bills defense that I think is you like the
26:01Patriots defense definitely overrated.
26:03So is the Bills. The Bills just had Joe Burrow march up and down against them.
26:09And I think in in large part their run defense has kind of hidden a pass defense that's not very good. their
26:17Bills the Bills run defense is very bad.
26:19They're 30th in DVOA, 31st in EPA, 23rd in success rate and teams are running all over them. Um 57% opposing pass rate
26:27against but the Bengals just did as I mentioned when covering them. They did they normal Bengals football against the Bills 68% pass rate, 7% proe and the
26:36Patriots also had a 2% pro with a 66% pass rate in the first match up against Buffalo. The Patriots aren't a runbased
26:43team. They're they're a bit of a pass first team. You know, somewhat balanced, but they the passing game is the strength of the team. So, I think that
26:51the Patriots will attack the the Bills through the air here. Not like with an outrageous pass rate, but they're I don't see them shifting to like a big
27:00run first approach and trying to win this with the run game. I think they'll try to be balanced with the lean to the
27:06pass and use Drake May as you know the the key to victory here. And I honestly think the Bills Bills defense can be
27:13exposed a bit where you know Tua Tangaba was super efficient against this team.
27:18Joe Burrow just had an 80th percentile EPA per play despite those two interceptions. Uh Lamar Jackson was 98th percentile in week one against them. If
27:26you pass on the Bills, it can lead to quite a bit of success and I I think the Patriots will. So I'm kind of interested
27:32in Stefon Diggs here. I'm kind of interested in Hunter Henry. I'm most interested in in Drake May. It's a little bit tough from a stacking
27:39perspective because I tend to think that it'll be a little spread out and May's probably in for like a good game. I
27:46don't know that this is like a blowup spot, but it's certainly a fun uh setup for the Patriots where I do expect them
27:52to be successful here and and you can imagine these teams pushing each other.
27:56So, what what are your thoughts on the Patriots side? Yeah, we we want want a little push here for for Josh Allen
28:02potential upside here and these big games, you know, they always kind of utilize him and to win us the game. Win
28:08us just go win us the game, Josh. You know, >> they should do that more. Actually, >> honestly, yes, you're you're not wrong
28:15on that. Yeah, no one's ever told Joe Brady this until until it's absolutely a necessity.
28:21>> How good do you think that LSU offense might have been if Joe Brady wasn't running it?
28:25>> He actually held it. He actually held back the best offense and caught him.
28:28>> He definitely did. He definitely did. I know for a fact he did. Now I'm watching him with Josh Allen. There's no way he
28:34didn't hold them back.
28:36>> But uh yeah, I mean, you know, the Bills have just been predicated. Their defense is like fine when they get pressure and
28:41when they don't, they they give up the bag. I'm curious. Michelle Mcder historically is someone that usually he'll adjust game plans like for if
28:48something didn't work or if he thinks something will work. Uh remember last year like the Lamar Jackson regular season game to the playoff game. He
28:55completely flipped. So I'm curious to see what he has in store for what he believes didn't work in that first Patriots matchup because May didn't like
29:02light up the fantasy box score but was hyperefficient in that game. And if you remember the first half of that game,
29:07the teams were kind of like uh they were trading turnovers and like it was a really lowscoring game at halftime and
29:13then in the second half >> it was kind of a boring game. this. But it was it was like one of those big
29:18boxing, you know, it's like you got the two boxers and you're like, "All right, here we go." And then they're just sort
29:22of like jab in like feeling each other out for >> for the first like four or five rounds.
29:27But I think the second half showed some of the upside that they that these two teams can have though because in the
29:32second half of that game they were just trading touchdowns and field goals and and that was cool like once we got over
29:38the the hump of like maybe it was just like early game because yeah Patriots started out punt fumble punt field goal
29:44half and then the Bills started out fumble punt fumble field goal uh punt and then in the second half Bills went
29:52touchdown interception touchdown field goal end of game. Patriots went touchdown, touchdown, punt, field goal.
29:57So, it's like there was still like a realm where like these teams are just also throwing haymakers in the other boxing match like you weird one trading
30:05blow. So, that's what we want to have from a fantasy stance.
30:08>> They they can definitely get each other going once once the the punch >> or just because both quarterbacks are so
30:13good. Like if you were gonna have a quarterback driven game and I'm with you. So, like the the the Bills have a a
30:19lousy run defense, but where they're bad against the run is in the interior. And the Patriots can't run in the interior.
30:26Like, they're they're a terrible team.
30:28And that's why they didn't run.
30:29>> They like to run to the edges if they Yeah, >> that's why they didn't run in the first game these teams played. Uh the first
30:34time these teams played, 19 carries for 59 yards as a team. And I know a lot of that was from Andre. He did get in the
30:40end zone twice. Pilford two short ones there. But yeah, the the structurally where the Patriots even if you were they wanted to say like we're going to come
30:48out and have run the football, they're not good at the kind of runs that the Bills are bad at defending, they're more
30:53of a Trayvon go get us go pop one for us type of team. Um >> yeah, and I think from that perspective,
31:00Trayvon from like a seasonl long point of view is is somewhat interesting. Last time uh he played the Bills, he had six
31:08carries, but Antonio Gibson also had six carries. And so there was a three-way split going with two-way split now. And Henderson's just been like straight up
31:16better than Raandre at everything.
31:17Raandre has a 30% success rate >> except for the thing that Mike Rabel cares about, >> which is what pass blocking.
31:23>> Yeah.
31:24>> Yeah. Yeah. You're right. Everything with the ball in his hands, he's been better.
31:28>> Yes. Yeah. Absolutely everything. It's just Yeah.
31:31>> Yeah.
31:33>> But I mean, yeah. From a from a success rate point of view, Stephvenson's supposed to be your your I threw out the
31:39nickname, you know, because it's thunder and lightning, you know, right? What if we callre silent thunder? Is that is that a good nickname for dude? He's not
31:48doing it. His success rate sucks. He It's actually Henderson who's the uh who's the consistent one.
31:54>> Um >> and he was not consistent at all to start the year, but he's become a lot a lot better that way and obviously gives
32:00you a lot more juice. So, I think Henderson is somewhat interesting here from a from a season long kind of a
32:06low-end RB2 type, but >> ultimately if this game goes nuts, >> yeah. Yeah. He he doesn't have the ceiling, I don't think, for for DFS.
32:14It's more about the passing game. Hunter Henry is probably the the most interesting piece from a DFS perspective where we're we're probably playing
32:22multiple tight ends in in some lineups this week and I think he's he's definitely a candidate for a really strong game at 4,400.
32:31Yeah, be diggs, you know, Diggs and Henry. The rest of the guys all rotate.
32:34Uh they even got Kyle Williams a little involved in week 13. So what how much more does he have coming out of the buy?
32:40Uh I would love for them just this would be a game where just just play Stefan Digs the whole game.
32:45>> Just play the whole game, >> right?
32:46>> Just play him.
32:47>> Let us just just let us have a week out of the buy. It's a big game to win the division. You can if you win this game,
32:53you can give them a 60% route rate the rest of the season like you want to until the playoffs. But this is be a
32:58spot, man. Like because we talked about it two weeks ago when we got excited when he ran like the he was close he was
33:02like just under 90% I think in week 11 and then come right back these last two weeks before the buy and he's like what
33:0950 low 50s >> 54 61. Yeah.
33:12>> Yeah. And it's like that's been the pro because the peripherals are there for him. He's been an excellent player. He's
33:17efficient. We just need him on the field.
33:19>> Uh I would love for them I would just love for it to be the Henderson thing to just know that against the Bills and
33:24with Bosa being back like Reandre is going to play more than we want. But play diggs the whole game. Patriots, this would be a spot. Play him the whole
33:31game.
33:32>> Is Bosley gonna be back? He was limited.
33:34>> Uh he was he was uh he practiced today.
33:37So I usually if he practiced Thursday, Friday, I'm just assuming the tea leaves are like he's going to play. But >> yeah. Okay. If he practiced today, then
33:44then I agree probably.
33:45>> Yeah, I did check and he did practice today. So I'm >> Oh, we use full today, too. Okay. Yeah, he'll play. He's off the injury report.
33:52>> I just play >> that. That's like that's pretty bad news for the Patriots because Will Campbell's out. So, the pass rush is going to be a
34:02little bit of a problem.
34:03>> Yeah.
34:04>> Um >> uh Trayvon had one pass blocking rep on in week 13 and gave up a pressure on it.
34:10I saw Yeah, it's a little frustrating >> and we're going to talk about when we get the thing like dude I mean Amarin
34:16Hampton his first game back one of the guys actually Henderson Henderson's graded over in pass blocking like absolutely like got shadow realmed on a
34:24on a blitz and then we didn't see him again until overtime.
34:29>> Yeah, we we'll get >> it's a bummer. It's a bummer because like this stuff matters to coaches. It's just like the my hang up with it is that
34:37co they they don't utilize in the way it should matter. So like they won't play Henderson on like a clear passing down,
34:44but guy running backs don't block on clear passing downs. They run routes.
34:48And that's the thing that frustrates me about like the way it's handled by NFL coaches. It's just like, yeah, you this
34:54guy can't pass block. So like, well, why wouldn't you use him on the long down distance? He's going to run a pass
34:58route. Like right >> that's >> Yeah, that's such a good point. It's like the early down blitz stuff where you really want the guy to be able to
35:05>> correct because that's when you're running like play action or like that's when you're running stuff out of heavier sets where you'd want it's like but they
35:11remove these guys in clear pass like well it's counterintuitive like the guy's running a route like >> no it's a great point.
35:18>> Um >> I digress another time >> on the Bills side of this. Uh Josh Allen's coming off an awesome game. 97th
35:29percentile in paper play. Luckily, I did the last week I did my rant, but then said Josh Allen's gonna get there
35:34anyway, and Josh Allen got there anyway.
35:36So, I' I've started to dial in like when I'm most angry at the Bills, that's like when Allen's going to take over a game.
35:44And uh I'm not as angry at the Bills, but I'm I'm still kind of angry because honestly, like when I was I was thinking
35:51through like the MVP stuff a little bit, like how was Josh Allen's the MVP, right? Who's the most valuable player to
35:58to their team? Like, >> well, that's the Yeah, the dichotomy of like what the >> it's Stafford's the most valued player. Like,
36:06no, he's not. Like, he's having a great season. He's having a really cool fun season. It's It's better than our expectations by a lot. But he's got Puka
36:14Nua, Devonte Adams. He's got an elite defense. He's got Shawn McVey. You look even look at Drake May. Like, Drake May
36:20is having an incredible season. He's awesome. But the entire franchise got completely transformed by the coaching staff that they brought in and they got
36:28a lot of good additions. Like they, you know, they finally have some pass protection. Like I mean happy if he won,
36:35but >> this is probably the worst Bills team in six years.
36:39>> Yeah, the coaching's not good on both sides of the ball. Like I don't trust this defensive. Like the defense is not
36:46good at stopping the run or the pass.
36:50It's probably worse at stopping the pass than people even realize. And then Joe Brady is like one of the most frustrating offensive coordinators I can
36:57remember.
36:57>> Dade Davis and Brandon Cooks.
36:59>> Yeah, Brandon Cooks is getting Tyrell Shavers is running half.
37:04>> I honestly think I am I can run I I don't even think it's agree. I can run 80% proxy I think of Gabe Davis's 40
37:13right now. I thought Gabe Davis was going to medically retire and he's he's he's like 70% of the routes now.
37:21>> It's crazy. This is like a crazy bad situation. And Allen's third in EPA per game. He's right there with love in May.
37:27He's having an awesome season.
37:29Basically, anytime they're like, not I mean, he didn't do it against the Texans, but you know, most of the time they're like, "Hey, Josh, can you just
37:35like go win us this game?" He just does and like pretty easily. Like, dude is having an incredible season. So, I mean,
37:42he could My hope is um you know, and I'm I'm rooting for May here, but I honestly I want to see I want to see Allan
37:51Fireworks again. It's so fun. So, let's have the Patriots push the Bills and the Bills are one of those teams where if
37:56you like >> they're the Hulk, right? You make them angry. Don't Don't make me angry.
38:02>> You make them angry and then they get way better. You're so much better. Like the Patriots are actually a poor team to
38:07play the Bills in some ways because the only way they can win is by passing the ball and making Josh Allen angry and now
38:14he's going to put the Superman case.
38:16>> That's what we want though. That's what we want.
38:17>> That's what we want. Yeah. No, I I'm excited about now. How do you play it though? Because Shakir is barely playing
38:24now. You he was at 64% uh raw participation against the Bengals. that that would be one of those spots where you would hope he'd get into
38:31the 80s and he he was at 50% against the Steelers um where they went super runheavy. So like Shakir is a really
38:38tough play right now. We just talked Gabe Davis last week 75% route participation. Brandon Cooks Brandon freaking Cooks 42%. Tyrell Shavers 50%.
38:49Keon Coleman was down at 22%. So he's actually getting phased out in favor of Brandon Cooks. Tough scene.
38:56>> Yeah, Dalton Concaid was at 53%.
38:59And I think this is probably the guy that that we want to look to. Uh Concage's profile per route and stuff.
39:06It's just you see a lot a lot of green here. Yards per out run 2.86 highest among all tight ends. Target sprout run
39:1298th percentile at 24%. He is he is getting fed when on the field and he's just he's a good player. Uh I don't know
39:20you know it's probably somewhat related to this knee injury he's nursing. Um blocking you know they want to get they want to get Haw and Knox. cuz they're
39:28cuz they are a run team.
39:29>> They're a run team. Stupidly, you have Josh Allen, guys. Please. But they are they're a run-based team. Um so, so he's
39:38kind of the guy that the concern here for me with um with the Bills would be about that they don't get pushed enough
39:45and they just run the ball a bunch. But if they get pushed, we know the ceiling is there. What are your thoughts on
39:50their passing game? Yeah, usually I mean if it's just from like a DFS perspective, you know, you can always play Josh Allen by himself because he
39:57just has that rushing role and they they do spread around. Usually the touchdowns get spread around. It's never just one guy dropping like a bunch of touchdowns.
40:05It's But I think Concade is the clear play because of the matchup too as well.
40:10Uh Patriots have been weaker against tight ends. Uh they're sixth in rate of fantasy points allowed to tight ends.
40:16Like tight ends have about 24% of the points they allowed. He had 100 yards the first game that they played to as
40:21well. Patriots really good against slot receivers though, which is interesting.
40:25Usually it's a there you almost see like that overlap, that correlation of like just middle middle of the field stuff, right? Like the commanders are just
40:32terribly slow in the middle of the field and they give up the bag to slot receivers and tight ends, which we'll
40:36get to too probably.
40:37>> Well, Bobby Bobby Wagner's out. Maybe that'll help.
40:39>> It might help them. It might help them because they're him and Yeah, him and Frankie Lubu. But I I think it's concaid
40:45though because he offers the more if if you're going to play a guy with Allen. I just want to play the guy who has the
40:50most like kind of upside per opportunity and it's just >> concaid.
40:55>> Yeah. And I I think the Patriots defense has been okay this year, but they're out Milton Williams um who's been, you know,
41:03the star pass rusher, >> which could be the problem for this game because if James Cook is cooking, then this everything down. He's been okay as
41:12a run blocker, but he's actually been better as a much much better as a pass rusher. He's more of an interior pass
41:18rusher than a run stopper, but um >> but just rotating him out has made them a worst run defense.
41:26>> That's true. They've gotten worse since he's been out. That's that's that's true.
41:29>> Like individually, he wasn't like it.
41:32It's like Malik Collins. Malik Collins for the Browns doesn't have like great standalone metrics against the run, but when you rotate the line like you see
41:39his impact and like >> Aaron Donald was like this too where he wasn't like great against the run individually, but um he was still very
41:47important on both run and the pass >> and it's still only a small sample though too since he's been out. But they
41:53have been worse against you know like Chase Brown was efficient against them uh two uh two games ago. Uh, and then
42:01the Giants guys in that weird game, which we'll talk about too, where they just like refused to throw had success.
42:07>> Half stinks, man. Get him. Get him out of there.
42:10>> He will.
42:10>> Bring back.
42:11>> Bring Dball back. They're >> not going to do that. But, uh, >> they're not going to do that.
42:18>> I just enjoyed the vibes of of Dball, Scataboo, and Dart. Let's go back to >> It was, man. It was, like I said, it was
42:24like a WWE like he was like the Paul Heyman guy and like you had like the tag team like the doom dudes.
42:30>> So good. Um I we talked about the Patriots defense being fraudulent.
42:36Here's the quarterbacks they faced this year. Gino Smith to a tongue of Aloa, Aaron Rogers, Bryce Young. They got Josh Allen who was pretty good against them.
42:43>> He was efficient.
42:44>> He was efficient. Spencer Rattler, Cam Ward, Dylan Gabriel, Michael Pennix, Baker Mayfield, which means a lot less than it used to, Justin Fields, Joe
42:54Flacco, and Jackson Dart, who's not allowed to pass. So, it's been soft.
42:59It's been super super soft. This defense is probably pretty overrated by, you know, the the seasonl long type of metrics.
43:07>> And then they're not that great against the run anymore. They're kind of middling. They're 16th in rushing DVO, 12th in EPA, 19th in success rate. You
43:14can run on them. you can pass on them.
43:17Um, again, I I'm kind of I like this game environment um a decent amount.
43:22It's just it's tough because both offenses are kind of spread out, but Cook is set up really well here. I mean,
43:27the the Bills have been super committed to the run this season and it's not impossible like that. This is just a
43:34Bills runaway win because you do have Patriots um their pass protection is a problem. Will Campbell being out is a real problem and with Bosa back, you
43:46know, you could be looking at May running around and just under pressure.
43:50Um, I do have optimism for them, but but there's outcomes where the Bills just roll. And James Cook, like we know how
43:58the Bills are going to play if they roll. Like there's no doubt about that.
44:02>> And uh Cook had 75% of snaps last week, 62% of carries. Like he's he's super locked in. He's number one in rush yards
44:08over expected per game. He's having a great season. And it's not I'm frustrated with how the the way they're running their offense because a great
44:15running back versus a great quarterback, it shouldn't be really a discussion which ones you prioritize, but the Bills are prioritizing the running back. They
44:23have uh a super low pass rate over expected on first and 10. Um the only team lower than them is the Panthers.
44:33The Panthers have a minus 12% pass rate of expected on first and 10 and the Bills are at minus 9%. So they're
44:39they're playing like they're trying to hide Josh Allen. It's super dumb, but it's good for Cook. Neutral situations.
44:47Defense doesn't know what's happening.
44:48You hand the ball off to Cook, he's efficient, and you're going against a run defense that's at this point pretty overrated. So I think James Cook is a a
44:56very strong play here. A frustratingly strong play, you might even say.
44:59>> Yeah. And he he's had good games against good run defenses, too, because of that.
45:03Because, you know, like Houston like the one he was like the only good thing for them that game. Shakira had a good game
45:08too that day too, but like that was like the whole strength of their offense was his his rushing in that game.
45:13>> So yeah, I mean he's just been he's just been a really good player all year. Uh and that he's the way like if if James
45:21Cook is awesome in this game, then probably no one else was. That sucks to say >> that's true. Yeah, >> it's a good it's a good way to just play
45:31this game. You just >> Yeah. Like if you're playing James Cook, like you don't need to do anything like you just would play him as an isolation
45:36because he's gonna bog the game down if he's awesome.
45:39>> Yeah. Although he's explosive enough where I could see like stuff getting there together.
45:44>> He can at least create explosives.
45:46>> Yeah.
45:46>> Hit you.
45:47>> He's probably a trailing script.
45:48>> He can do He can hit a 60 yarder.
45:50>> He sure can. Um all right, let's move to I believe the Chiefs at Chargers. Yeah.
45:56Next game. Um let's talk Chiefs. Uh, where are you at on on where Pat, you know, he's just coming off a horrible
46:05game against the Texans. Where are you at on the the state of the Chiefs?
46:10>> Not great. Vibes aren't good. It's because of the the offensive line, right? Like I mean, it's just it's just so hard to to trust the the state of
46:17this offensive line.
46:18>> Both tackles are out.
46:20>> Well, three tackles are out now because >> three >> Well, Simmons and Jan Taylor are out and then they lost Juan Morris in the first
46:28play last year.
46:28>> Morris. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
46:29>> Yeah. So, uh, you know, and Jaylen Moore was awful. Oh my goodness, dude. He was awful.
46:35>> Well, they're starting a guy, uh, I believe it's Essa Pole.
46:39>> Yeah, he played actually okay last week against Denal Hunter. Like, he held his own, but like you wouldn't expect that
46:44to be stacked at least. Like, >> I Googled him because I was like, you know, I I narrate the walkthrough and uh
46:50if you're interested in that, it's a premium feature at legendary.com. But I narrate the walkthrough and um I I needed to know how to pronounce this
46:59dude's name cuz it's it's spelled P O L E and and and it's Ple, I think. And uh that's what the the AI pronunciation guy
47:07told me. I couldn't I couldn't find a anything better. Um but the reason I couldn't find anything better is like this dude, one of the videos that I I I
47:16looked at to see if he said his own name, he's like talking about how psyched he was to be invited to the
47:21Shrine Bowl. I was like, "This seems bad." So, he was not he was not bad, you know, in the limited action he's gotten,
47:28but like talk about a low floor.
47:31>> Rookie. He's rookie this year, by the way. He This was this was a video from March where he's like, I'm, you know,
47:35stoked to be at the Shrine Bowl.
47:37>> Yeah.
47:37>> But, you know, Shrine Bowl's great, but like he's not a high-end type of prospect.
47:42>> I mean, you don't feel you don't feel comfortable about this at all. And when Mahomes has been pressured, he's been
47:47awful. I mean, he he's 28th in completion rate when pressured. It's weird because the Chiefs like us you think about like pressure, you think
47:54about trying to get the ball out faster and Mahomes is the opposite. When he gets pressured, he tries to like extend
47:59plays and buy time and throw downfield.
48:03And that's like the opposite you do against Jesse Miner's defenses. Like the whole Chargers deal is predicated on not giving up explosives, not giving up
48:10downfield throws. They want you they want Rasheed Rice to have 12 targets this game.
48:16>> Well, you know what I do, too? So, Jesse Mter and I are on the same page. Yes, sir.
48:22But that's the problem when if if the line is bad, Mahomes then wants to go like he makes himself less in less
48:28efficient in a bad spot. Like he compounds the matter. Like the way the way Mahomes plays and like we get excited about like oh my gosh, look at
48:35this dude in Caleb Williams does this too, but he's just bad at the free squares too. But like you're like people
48:42get excited about Caleb Williams the worst. I'm like this if he just would have hit that guy, he didn't need to do
48:47all that. Mahomes does that sometimes.
48:50It's like, dude, just like make the easy play sometimes and that's the frustrating part.
48:57I think we lost Pat.
49:00Maybe that's me. But see if maybe he pops back up here. But yeah, that's the frustrating part part with Mahomes. So
49:07he isn't running though. Uh so you do have that out. But yeah, just absolutely terrible. We've seen him. He's won our
49:13He's been higher than QB10 once uh the past five weeks. And this is probably a game where it's kind of a bogged down
49:20slow game in Arrowhead in the cold. You don't trust anything about the Chargers as well.
49:27He just he just checked out so see if he jumps back in. But it's still recording for me. Uh I don't I have no idea what
49:33to do with this because I'm not a host at all. Like what do I do? I'm just in panic mode. But but that's what it is.
49:38We hope that Rasheed Rice is the guy though that that gets fed here. So are you back?
49:42>> I'm back. Uh >> I tried my best. I I I got flummixed. I didn't know what to do. that panic.
49:47Terrible at AdLib. Terrible.
49:49>> It's funny because this spot is mostly us just like talking in blocks and so then you got put on. It's like you were
49:56alone on stage there for a second.
49:58>> I was like, I man.
50:01>> Well, with Rice, one of the things I noted was, you know, the Chargers play a ton of zone and Rice has been so much
50:07better against zone than man. Is that factor in for you at all here?
50:11>> Yeah. Yeah, well I mean I'm bullish on Rice here and I think he's probably an under the radar play just because you
50:16know everyone's excited about Rams Lions and you we talked about Chase earlier and then you know JSN is in a good spot
50:23again. So I think Rice is kind of getting overlooked because the the one everyone watched the Chiefs stink on prime time.
50:29>> Yeah, totally.
50:30>> But this matchup is completely set up for Rice to to have to have a high target rate.
50:35>> It really is.
50:37>> So I am I am excited about Rashi Rice.
50:40>> I am too. I'm less I'm just like to me this is a Rice game where like he so he's got 32% targets per out run against
50:45zone 3.24 yards per out run and a 4.7 A dot. So it's like what you're saying about like the what Jesse Mentor would
50:53like that's what he wants. It's like throw this guy five yards at a clip. Um great that sounds great to me too. And I think
51:03like Kelsey he's just get this is all his stuff.
51:06It's just been handed over to to Rashi Rice.
51:09>> And so I don't have much interest in Kelsey. I don't have that much interest in Worthy because I do think they'll be
51:14trying to limit the explosive. This is not and you know with the offensive line issues. This is not a spot where I feel
51:19that great about Mahomes. Also, his def just looks terrible right now. I don't know what's going on. Um so yeah, I mean
51:25Worthy's just had no ceiling this year and this is not the spot. So it's pretty simple for me on the the Chief side. I
51:32really like Rashid Rice. I don't really like anything else. Obviously, their run game is a disaster on top of it all.
51:38>> Yeah. Uh since returning to the lineup too, Rashi Rice has uh 49% of the red zone targets. He has 17 red zone
51:45targets. The next closest guy is four on the team. So, >> we're getting a matchup that's probably going to feed him inherent volume and
51:53then if they drive to near the end zone, like he gets all that stuff. So, uh >> all the too high stuff. He he he's got
52:0033% first read target share on uh against too high over three yards per out run just it's just a spot to to to
52:09where he should be set up and the offense should be geared around getting him the football as much as possible.
52:14>> Totally. Um on the Chargers side and I guess one thing you could maybe like if I was going to pour some cold water on
52:22the rice stuff >> Yeah.
52:24>> it'd be like what if this game just stinks because >> Yeah. Yeah, they have a low implied team total. Um, the Chiefs defense has been
52:33good and, you know, is going to try to to get pressure here. Um, and Herbert's been pretty rough the last few games
52:40with his offensive line, you know, being being poor. And then you've seen like, do you remember when we were excited about the Chargers pass rate over
52:50expected? That feels like a year ago >> where we're like the Chargers are our POE kings, you know, the first couple
52:58games, then uh they they fell off a little bit, but then they they threw on the Giants. Everything's going great, but dude, minus 11% last week and uh the
53:08week before minus 17% against the Raiders, minus 24% uh against the Eagles on first and 10. So, this is they're h I
53:16mean, look, they're hiding. He has a broken hand. Like, I'm not saying it's like crazy. like I understand what's going on and you know they're down both
53:23their tackles and they just lost Trey Pipkins it was their backup you know Rashan Slater should have been the tackle and it was Pipkins and now he's
53:30hurt so it's the same deal both these teams are missing three tackles they're down six tackles total in this game like
53:38that's a real problem for uh for the game environment I would say so uh anything on the Chargers side you're excited about after I kind of shared a
53:48lot of pessimism there No, absolutely not. To uh you might want to check uh when you got booted to check your mic uh
53:54to see if it's picking up the wrong >> mic. Thank you.
53:56>> Yeah. See if it's picking up the right mic. Uh we don't want to do two and a half more hours. Uh
54:02>> on the right now. Thank you.
54:04>> Oh yeah, you're cooking now. Uh but yeah. Yeah. I mean, since Joe Alt's been out, Herbert's gotten to 18 fantasy
54:09points one time. Like 18 like to be like a mild like usable dude. like it just there's been no there's been no real
54:16ceiling for him since Alt's been out.
54:19He's got a broken hand. He's going into Arrowhead where like the Chiefs have been significantly better on defense this season uh at home which you know
54:27attracts because like that it's always a tough place to play the defense is good.
54:31Uh over the past four games the Chargers have are averaging 1.8 plays per game of 20 or more yards. That's 30th in the
54:38NFL. Uh since week 10, 65% of their set of downs have reached third down. That's 31st in the NFL. Only the Titans are
54:47worse. Um they have a 33% success rate since week 10. Only the Browns and Titans are worse.
54:54>> That's it. Like this offense is running on fumes right now. Uh the defense is playing really well and that's just kind
55:01of like hang hanging them around, keeping them around. But I think this game is probably going to more or less be a bogged down like not fun like game
55:10environment. You like Rice because uh >> So far I have a lineup that's James Cook, Rashi Rice. Just move on from
55:19those games.
55:21>> You can't trust any of the receivers since Alt's been out. Like because there's been no ceiling. There's just been no offensive ceiling.
55:27>> Like like Lad's had a couple games he's gotten by because he's gotten a touchdown. But like >> right >> the Steelers
55:33>> and Keenan Allen's back, dude. That's the other thing.
55:36>> They're using him and he and Keenan Allen and Aronda Gadston have been they've correlated like when one's playing the other isn't.
55:44>> And and when I say back, I don't mean like he's vintage Keenan Allen. I mean, he's he went from like running routes on
55:5050 54 60% of dropbacks to 75 82 73%. So his his playing time is up and that's definitely hurt Gadston.
56:00Yeah.
56:01>> So, yeah, not a ton to get excited about. What What's your read on what the backfield split will be like?
56:09>> They keep saying it's going to be kind of hoty and uh I kind of believe him still just because they, you know,
56:16Hampton won. First of all, he's coming back from an injury that I think is not that far uh like removed from like
56:23something that happened to PCA last year like, you know, he ended up having a fractured foot. you know, we found out
56:28like ankle like it was fractured. It wasn't like a a sprain. Um, so we might not be able to see him. He did have a
56:35couple exposed plays. The run in overtime was at least like all right, there's something here. He had he did out touch Vidal five to one in the red
56:43zone. So, we might see some usage like that where you kind of if you're playing him, you're hoping he gets in the box.
56:49Uh, if they just like get a pass interference in the end zone or have someone get tackled at the one. Um, but
56:54I think Vidal is going to be the pass protector for sure. Uh, he came in.
56:59>> I agree. Yeah.
57:00>> Nico Dean just ran right through him for a sack and then we didn't he didn't even play the next three drives. They were
57:07like >> because you got a quarterback with a broken hand, too. Like, >> he can't be taking hits. So, I think
57:13that's going to factor in. Uh, Vidal's allowed six pressures on 71 pass blocking snaps this season. Hampton's at six on 34. He's uh it's three rookies at
57:22the bottom of pass protection. It's Trevian Henderson, Omaran Hampton, and and Cam Scataboo are the the worst pass protectors this year. Uh so ah it's it's
57:32it sucks because you probably were waiting on Hampton to come back, but then it all played good enough to where the coaching staff at least wanted to
57:38play him and then Hampton is hurt still maybe not 100% and he's a liability and protection pass protection because Herbert's hurt. You want to protect him
57:46extra. So, it's just a you you he's kind of like a touchdown or bust guy, which kind of is a bummer.
57:53>> I think that's right. But I do think he if you gave me like an even line on carries, I would take Hampton. I think
57:59he leads in carries this week >> after I think I think that's fair.
58:05>> Yeah. But >> and they're going to try to run >> the doll >> because that's what you said. That's what they're trying they're trying to
58:10insulate this Herbert injury and the offensive line.
58:15>> Yep.
58:17All right, let's move to the commanders at Giants. A game environment that should be fun, but Mike Kafka refuses >> to pass the ball. This dude has gone
58:28super super conservative since taking over, which because Davis is pointing out he was calling the plays before Dall was fired, I believe.
58:36>> Correct.
58:37>> So, you think, oh, not much is going to change maybe, but things have changed a lot. Um they've had pass rates over
58:47expected of minus17 minus7 and minus5% over the the three weeks with him minus 22 uh on first and 10 against the
58:56Packers then one against the Lions and minus 13% last week. Now, Jameus Winston started two of those games and it's like they actually were pretty
59:06competitive and they were kind of in spots especially against the Packers where like you kind of you kind of can get away with being really conservative
59:13in a way because that team's overly conservative. You can you can run on them. They have a great pass rush. It it
59:18all sort of makes sense. They were losing badly to the Patriots um really kind of from the jump and gave up. I would say like that this is
59:28this is like this is a capitulation game when you when you have 58% pass rate when a 73% expected pass rate and you're
59:35trailing the whole game that's just pure capitulation. So >> that's the one that jumps out to me of like okay like this isn't really a
59:42serious operation right now. Um I think on some level he's probably just like trying to make sure Dart doesn't suffer some horrific injury under his watch
59:51because he wants to go get another job.
59:53Um, but man, it's it's disappointing given how bad the Commanders defense is because it's tough to see the Giants taking advantage of this opportunity
60:01fully. I mean, J.J. McCarthy just posted 86 percentile EPA play against this defense. Like, you can pass on the Commanders, >> but I'm just not sure the Giants will.
60:09Although, I don't want to be too, you know, certain about how a team is going to attack because like if they do pass,
60:17Jackson Dark can cook here, I think.
60:20>> Yeah, he had he had the zero designed runs. uh in week 13 after he had 15% of the designed runs before that. So like
60:27you know that matters because you know 40 43 and a half percent of Dart's fantasy points come from rushing only Justin Fields is higher and basically
60:36from a passing uh perspective from points per game he's like right between like M. Jones Bryce Young. Um so >> he reminds me of Jaylen Herz in some
60:44ways more of the you know pre this year >> I think he can throw if they let him.
60:48That's the thing is just like will they let him and because we want I think Dart's good. They they should probably
60:54let him throw the ball.
60:56>> Yeah, because I He was tracking it looked like earlier in the week to be like the cash gamey type of quarterback.
61:00And I actually think he's more of a tournament play just because you have to have faith.
61:04>> You have to have faith in them one. We we can't count on them ever running him again the rest of the year because he
61:09can't protect himself like that. That week 13 game against the Patriots, that first drive, he could have just stepped out of bounds. He gets dusted.
61:16>> He had already gotten the first down.
61:18Like there was no additional gain really like a couple yards. It's like, "Give me a break." And he takes that. It's a
61:24That's a legal hit, man. You can't You can't let yourself get hit like that.
61:27>> Correct. He's he So, I feel like the coaching staff feels like they he won't protect himself, so they have to protect
61:32him. So, we can't count any of the designed rushing stuff. He still will scramble probably a few times because that's who he is. Like, he's going to
61:39scramble. Um, but we want them. You can't scramble if you're not dropping back though.
61:44>> So, it's like that's what my worry was.
61:46like did they did were they just doing that in the game because they were like we can't like he's going to not protect
61:51himself as a passer either. So that it's just a wild card. It takes guesswork like you said, but the matchup is
61:57alluring enough to where if they do drop back and throw, he can have efficiency.
62:02They have matchup advantages here. Uh so we just hope that they do let him throw.
62:07>> Yeah. The issue in in some ways is that the the commander run defense is also not good. So if you
62:13>> and the Commanders don't have Daniels, >> um they don't have a great run game. The Giants have the worst run defense in the
62:19league, but the Commanders are one of the least suited teams to be able to take advantage of that. So maybe the
62:23Giants are like a little bit better on defense than usual. So I can see, you know, guy who's had three really
62:30conservative game plans so far coming up with a pretty conservative game plan in this spot. Like it would make a lot of
62:35sense, >> right?
62:36>> Um so yeah, it's it's a little it's a little boom bust. I don't I agree with you about Dart kind of being a strange
62:44cash game quarterback that play that way and maybe more of a tournament type of guy, but tournament-wise, I think he is
62:49kind of interesting. Juan Dale, Theo, I I think Theo Johnson is not someone I'm normally that excited about, but um had
62:57decent target per run last week and uh more than decent. He was at 33% last week. He's still only at 17% for the
63:07season, which is not great, but it's not terrible. And so he's someone I could I could see like as part of a runheavy
63:12game plan, maybe some play action around the goal line type of stuff. We get there with Theo and get a touchdown. But
63:18um Juell obviously kind of the the clear-cut number one wide receiver. uh thoughts on the back field because I've seen >> there is some stuff uh I think it's
63:28interesting cuz so like Juan Del's seasonl long stuff is like completely manipulated by been who's in and out of the lineup
63:35>> but the match with neighbors >> well uh Sllayton uh particular >> well his first two game his best two games this season have come without
63:44Jackson Dart uh you know it was the Russ game against >> was just feeding him >> yeah uh so with Dart and Sllayton on the
63:53Robbins only has two more targets than Darius Sllayton and his he's 0.83 yards per out run and 4.6 airs per target. Um
64:03>> but the problem is like you want to attack Washington through the slot in short. It's like this is like kind of
64:09the matchup for that. Like uh we talk about their linebackers there. They're getting killed by slot receivers. 45 46.6% of the receptions they've allowed to
64:17wide receivers have come from the slot.
64:19That's the highest rate in the league.
64:20They've also allowed uh 28th in yards to target to those slot receivers, 27th in touchdown rate. So even if those are
64:27kind of damning metrics for his usage, like this is still a matchup that facilitates like that role. He's third on the team in receiving yards with Dart
64:34and Sllayton on the field. He Theo Johnson has more receiving yards than him. He has 150 fewer receiving yards than Sllayton when they've been on the
64:41field together with Dart. So uh it kind of tracks because Dart is one of these guys like he's either gonna scramble or
64:47he's d's trying to he's trying to push.
64:49Yeah, >> he's trying to push this team down the field, Ben. Sure is.
64:53>> So, Slayan is kind of interesting by those, but the matchup does lean itself more to Theo, more to >> Yeah.
65:00>> Yeah. I also lean Theo if you're picking a guy because when Dart's played, he has 33% of the end zone targets. Uh so you
65:08do get a little touchdown equity with him, too.
65:11>> Yeah, he just watching them play, he really does seem to look for Theo Johnson way more. Maybe it's like a
65:17pretty KD thing the way they've kind of >> and these Washington linebackers I know maybe it's subtraction addition by subtraction with Wagner being out but
65:24Frankie Luvu is a like he has no reason guarding anyone at this point either he should just be rushing the passer Jordan
65:31McGee is the other guy that they have he hasn't been good all of them all three linebackers are allowing a quarterback
65:38rating of over a 100red when targeted >> oh my god >> ando's a good athlete too like he's he's a better athlete than all these guys.
65:47>> Well, that that was his thing. We didn't know who Theo Johnson was really until he worked out and then it was like, "Oh,
65:52>> well, all the Penn State guys are good athletes. You guys got to remember that."
65:55>> Yeah. He kept Tyler Warren on the bench.
65:59>> Yeah. Yeah. Two years ago.
66:01>> Yeah. Um the backfield here, Devin Singleary's been uh pretty
66:10involved. He had more carries than Tyron Tracy against the the Patriots. Um, and he's been kind of in the mix for three
66:18weeks now, getting a decent amount of carries. I don't uh I don't love Tracy here because I think Singleary is going
66:26to be >> involved and and I'm not even sure we're going to get that much passing and and Tracy actually had a 4% target share
66:34last week. So, we can't necessarily even count on a ton of receiving volume from him. So, uh, do you have any more optimism on the
66:42back field than I do? No, because it's both guys. Bill's one guy. I think I'd be more confident in, you know, with
66:49Tracy kind of coming back this week. He left that Patriots game, but uh you kind of need someone to have the like control
66:55of the back field. They >> Yeah. Right.
66:58>> When you look at like the the best Giants uh running back performances for fantasies football, it's usually because either one guy's been off the field or
67:04they've leaned into one guy because there was a couple games that actually gave Tracy like a a bit larger workload.
67:09And then Dart also has a lower throw rate to running backs, which checks out with uh the reduced. Again, he's going
67:17to scramble or throw it deep. Like that's what he wants to do. His heart of hearts, it's how he wants to play the
67:22game of football. CFKA is trying to contain this thing, but eventually like it's like, you know, when you try to contain the uh uh like the explosion,
67:31right? Like it's eventually it's just going to find a way out. Like it's just gonna you can't like >> you can't bottle dart up.
67:37>> You can't you can't, man.
67:40I agree. I mean, maybe don't draft Cam Scataboo, who's like the exact same personality that's just going to, you know, enable
67:49impulses.
67:50>> Yeah. I mean, they clearly I've never seen two players feed off each other more than those two.
67:55>> And I don't know if you saw, but Scataboo's walking again, so he's he can be on the sidelines.
68:02>> So, yeah.
68:03>> Yeah. Yeah. They cannot have Scatteroo be on the sideline. Like, he has to watch the game from home. They need him
68:08at home. They really do need him at home.
68:14Oh man. Yeah, it's I I I want I want Dart to just, you know, protect himself a little bit more so we can get I love
68:24the energy of it, you know.
68:26>> Just don't don't take too many unnecessary hits, please.
68:29>> Yeah. Um, on the commander side, if I was going to play one of these quarterbacks in cash, it would be Mariota.
68:39>> He's he's 5,000.
68:41>> Agreed.
68:41>> And gets a really good matchup.
68:44>> Um, I don't think the Commanders will be super super conservative the way I am worried that um that the the Giants will
68:53be. I guess I am I'm a little worried they'll be conservative here. They they have been more conservative with Mariota uh in those games with Mariota playing.
69:02They have a minus 5% proe minus 14% on first and 10. Some of the games he's appeared in though have been kind of
69:07over and they're just like giving the commanders have given up multiple times this year by the way. Uh including last year
69:14>> all three games he's come off the bench he's been bad and his starts he's been good except for >> starts he's been good.
69:20>> Right. Right. Yeah.
69:23>> Yeah. So, but the thing I like about Mariota is he's attacking downfield at a high rate. Terry McLaren's back and has
69:29has actually been pretty efficient. Um, you know, in a limited sample this year, but still. And then you get this Giants
69:34defense that's been really bad against the run, but also bad against the pass.
69:38>> So, like Mariota to McLaren is kind of intriguing to me here. What What are your thoughts on uh this this offense?
69:45>> Yeah, that's what makes this game kind of fun, you know, uh is that neither defense is good uh at anything.
69:52>> Bad, you might even say. Yeah, the Giants are 31st in yards allowed per game. The Commanders are 30th. Uh the
69:58Commanders are allowing 2.69 points per drive. That's 30th. The Giants are 252.
70:03That's 29th. Uh it's like so like this game, this total feels crazy low. Like I I mean, not get we don't give out a lot
70:10of betting advice. This total feels crazy, man. Like because when you get these two teams that are like kind of bottom bottom uh barrel teams, but you
70:18put them together, it it could be good.
70:19like we saw Titans Browns last week or Falcons Jets two weeks ago. Um but so this game could be just outright fun.
70:27>> The other thing about this game as I'm kind of thinking through that is like this could be one of those games that
70:31kind of sucks for a for a little bit and then gets really fun.
70:36>> You know, because because the defenses are so bad that if these teams just start to wake up, >> they'll probably just come out both
70:42teams will try to run early.
70:43>> Yeah.
70:44>> This first quarter you skip just skip this first quarter. It's going to suck.
70:48>> Yeah. If you play guys in this game, you'll just be mad. If you play Terry McCorin, don't watch the start of this
70:52game.
70:53>> Do not don't add us in in second half.
70:57Wow, great call. Two targets, zero yards.
71:00>> Yeah, come back later. Yeah, come back later for it. But yeah, I mean, that's what makes this game appealing. I'm in a
71:06I'm in on Mariota. Uh having a really high floor, potentially high ceiling.
71:11>> McCoren looks really good in this spot.
71:13Uh Giants have allowed 21 catches on throws 20 or more yards downfield. the wide receiver. That's 30th in the league. They're 24th in point the
71:21outside receivers. They put their guys on islands. Uh yeah, Terry's looked really good the two games he's been back. I mean, they just got flooded last
71:28week. It was just there was no recovery from the start of that game uh against the Vikings and who have been really
71:34good.
71:35>> So sad. He's just get flooded by the JJ McCarthy Vikings. Well, we just we there was nothing we could do.
71:42>> Nothing we could do. We just pack it up against JJ. We were going against nine, man. What do you expect?
71:48>> Come on.
71:49>> Yeah. And we have the Zack Z injury which could help Debo Samuel uh too. Um because you know they're probably gonna
71:56mix in Ben Sinnate but you know we're see John Bates, we're going to see Yank Off. Like those dudes are are going to
72:02play. So I think it probably helps Debo the most but that's a little guesswork on my end.
72:08>> We're always learning names in an NFL season. I didn't expect to learn the name Yanoff. That's >> the Coulson Yanoff. Colston Yankov, I
72:17didn't know you're gonna learn.
72:20It's like I I narrated that. I was just like I Okay, I guess >> I've never wanted a player to be good
72:25more than my life.
72:28>> I mean, talk about >> I don't want to be yanking off. I don't want to be yanking off in the box.
72:37We're we're roster baiting anytime we put Yankos in the line.
72:43>> Because I've already seen people do the Senate is the new Trey McBride because obviously second round pick.
72:48>> No.
72:48>> Cliff Kingsberry. Uh Zack Hertz ACL.
72:51Like we're just restarting the cycle and I'm just like well this dude also doesn't play tight end so it's it's tougher.
73:00>> Yeah, that is that is tougher when you think about it. Um, and I I think it's more like um the Packers where you like
73:07we have Tucker Craft and now we have >> Yep.
73:10>> some guys, you know, that's what I think we're going to get. So, >> that's why I said it might help. Do you
73:15might like this thing might just metriculate to just gives Debo the Debo is the bene beneficiary.
73:22>> I I like that call. I've been thinking of it as kind of it concentrating to the the wide receivers, but I like calling
73:29out Debo specifically as someone who might benefit from more of the short yardage stuff. So, >> right.
73:33>> I mean, that or Noah Brown, right? Like, >> right. Yeah. Noah Brown's the third wide receiver again. 78% round participation
73:40last week.
73:41>> Uh thoughts on the back field? Chris Rodriguez is set up really well here, but he was limited in practice. I we
73:48don't have a practice report on him yet, I don't believe. Uh, I'm gonna >> Yeah, I looked before. I looked before
73:54the show and there wasn't anything yet.
73:57>> Uh, if he goes, what are your thoughts?
74:00If he if he misses, I think JCM's kind of interesting, but >> correct. Yeah, he has to miss though. He has to.
74:05>> He has to miss. He has to miss. Yeah.
74:07>> And with him kind of being limited on Thursday, it's probably a sign he'll be up. Cliff Kingsbury was talking talking
74:12him up again last week. They just got scripted out of the game. And that's the risk you run with his archetype.
74:16Anyways, we kind of talked about him last week, like could he be interesting?
74:19Could he not be? and then you find out like he got scripted out. You need this to be uh a Washington tight game or them
74:27leading, but it is a good matchup for him if you want to do a pay down running back type. And then if he were to miss,
74:33JCM would be in a real good spot.
74:36>> Yeah, if he were to miss then um what are we looking at with JCM? 4,000. No, 4,400.
74:42>> 44. Yeah.
74:44>> Yeah, that would be a pretty strong play. Rodriguez is 49. I I don't think it's crazy. There's there's been you
74:53know there's been crazier plays in in DFS than >> No, I mean if you're playing and that's how this is what you're doing when we
74:59get to that Rams because the Rams game because you know now that the Lions have become so concentrated after the Leaporta injury like all the guys are
75:06expensive like I've tried like it's really hard to build the lineups around that game with like where it's bringbacks unless you're doing things
75:14like Chris Rodriguez or M Mitchell Tinsley.
75:19>> Yep. Yep.
75:21Yeah, and we'll see again by the time we get to the Packers, maybe we'll know about the uh the Josh Jacobs situation,
75:27but that if we if Jacobs is playing, then you know, it's going to be even even tighter of a slate. Um, right.
75:35>> All right, let's go to the next game, which is the Raiders at Eagles. Uh, Kenny Picket revenge game. Is that
75:45>> got He got a ring. Is he He got a ring.
75:47How much revenge does he need? I don't I don't think he needs any.
75:50>> Yeah, they let him throw a pass in the Super Bowl.
75:54>> Yeah, that's true. I mean, >> which almost a make a wish, >> which we threw a big party. Uh I went to
76:00the Super Bowl last year, not to the game. We watched at Sigman Bloom's house. went to we just went to partake
76:05in the New Orleans festivities with like I was like Ian Harditz and Chris Allen and uh we had bet the as a group bet the
76:11over one and a half over two and a half players to throw a pass >> and it was you know Mahome you know
76:17Super Bowl like someone did the weird throw pass and they brought in picket at the end of the game and he threw he just
76:22threw like a pass into the ground for no reason but we got to hit the bat and like everyone's going crazy like yay you
76:27know >> that's such a good Kenny Picket sweat of him just turfing a ball >> there was no reason for him throw
76:33either. Like the game was already won.
76:35Like they were just running out the clock and they let him throw but it hit the bat and like everyone's going crazy.
76:39>> That's so good.
76:41>> Oh man, >> Bloom's looking at us like you degenerates like >> No, this that come on. That's disaster is just just winning like that.
76:51>> Yeah, it's awesome though. But yeah, but he's he's starting unfortunately.
76:54>> Yeah, he is. Although, is it unfortunate?
76:57>> Yeah, >> I'm not even sure it is, man.
76:58>> Everything's so bad with this team. It's >> so here here's Gino Smith this year. Uh worst every quarterback below him is a
77:06rookie. Every single one. So he's he's just below Jake Browning. Here's Kirk Cousins. This is before the Thursday night game. Joe Flacco, Davis Mills,
77:16Russell Wilson, Trod Taylor, Justin Fields, Tua. So these are the other not so great quarterbacks this year. But but Gino's been worse than all of them and
77:24by a lot in some cases. He's not Cam Ward McCarthy um in terms of inefficiency, but he he has not not been
77:31good at all. Um the you know the going to Kenny Picket, I've got another chart here. Yeah, I threw Picket on the same
77:39chart. So Pickicket's career efficiency would be here just below Tua.
77:44However, if I were to take Gino's career efficiency, he'd probably be like over over here.
77:50>> Yeah.
77:50>> Um >> so there's a the problem is that we're taking the picket. we we know and we're putting him behind a terrible offensive
77:58line in a bad situation and what does that do that probably creates an additional penalty and so it's very very possible that Kenny Picket is ends up
78:08being like significantly worse than Gino Smith but Gino's been so bad that I'm kind of willing to you know it's not up
78:15to me but I'm I'm still willing to to see what we got here.
78:20>> That's fair. It's just it's just such a dire situation, right? Like it's you know I saw Colt Miller was practicing
78:25but he's probably not gonna play this weekend.
78:28>> That would be a big deal if he plays.
78:30>> Yeah, I saw that. Like so um but the the receiving group is is bad. They actually remembered they drafted >> people don't know he's like a star left
78:38tackle. Like this offensive line stinks and it's like adding Yeah. You know, one of one of the better left >> they've been down their two best linemen
78:43all year uh cuz P Johnson's been out uh since the middle of the season. But, you know, they remembered they had they
78:49remembered they drafted Jack Bash last week. They actually played him. Uh, but the receivers are bad. They're putting Bowers in a spot that's like not
78:56exciting. Like, he keeps getting touchdowns, which helps, but you know, he's facing It's just a tough match up, too, against Vic Fangio, like outside in
79:03the cold weather. Like, it's just like I don't know what it's hard for me to just like to be excited. I'm willing that he
79:10could be better for than Gino Smith, but like what are we actively doing with this offense this week? Are you playing
79:16Bowowers? praying for Bowowers touchdowns. That's what Yeah.
79:19>> And you're probably playing Jane Teague because of the just volume stuff, but like he's not even exciting.
79:24>> No. No. I have him as like a high-end RB2. It's not fun. I did a a Trey Tucker Jack Bash comparison. They basically
79:31have the same per route profile now, which I mostly said is don't play Trey Tucker. Um.
79:37>> Right.
79:38>> Yeah.
79:38>> I mean, it's it's the Eagles defense is still good. We don't like the Eagles are bor. This game is set up for the Eagles
79:44to do the most boring thing ever and get by with it.
79:50>> Yeah. I mean, they just keep doing the same thing over and over and and it's going to work this week. They'll be able
79:57to be >> This is the week it's going to work.
80:00We've seen this with the Packers where it's like they kind of early on in the season they just like kept doing like
80:05the overly conservative thing and then instead of having a match up that forced them to change they like perfectly timed a matchup that just allowed them to do
80:13it again but it would work this time and that's where we are with the Eagles.
80:16They're going to >> right >> they're going to be awful uh to watch but they'll be plenty plenty efficient against the Raiders defense and be able
80:25to shut down the Raiders on offense.
80:27Although hopefully we get some some bowowers. Yeah, there's just not much.
80:30If you got Bowers, you're starting them.
80:31If you got Genty, you're probably starting them. Not much. This is just like it's a 13 game slate, and there's going to be some really highscoring uh
80:40games, and there's going to be some game environments, like we talked about the Commanders and the Giants where it's like this isn't a game environment that
80:46pops, but it could pop. Uh this is a game environment that I don't see how on earth it it pops. We could be higher
80:53scoring than we think, but >> the best thing you're hoping for is like some magic light bulb turns on week 15
80:58for this Eagles offense and they actually just understand the assignment and like just whip this team. But how confident are you in that happening?
81:05>> I couldn't be less confident.
81:11>> Right.
81:12>> Yeah.
81:12>> Exactly.
81:13>> I mean, I think that my confidence would be like that they figure out Saquon Barkley. Like I could see Saquon Barkley
81:21going nuts here. I I have a really hard time.
81:23>> And it sounds like Lane's not coming back for another week, which is a bummer. If Lane was back, I actually
81:28might be like talked into being a little bit bullish because >> Herz and Saquon have pretty good splits with when Lane's playing. Um but it
81:35sounds like he's going to miss one more game.
81:38>> Okay, that that is a very important note. Uh on the Eagles side, I mean, the Raiders defense is not good. They're not
81:45good against the run. They're not good against the pass. I would note they're like not at one point this season they
81:50looked like maybe we were talking about like a Bengals level defense and we're not talking about that level. Um I think
81:57they're more bad than like horrifically bad, >> right?
82:01>> But still this is this is a defense that even with Max Crosby having a a really good season doesn't have a great pass
82:07rush overall. They also they don't blitz which the Eagles have been they they've had the highest blitz rate per drop back
82:15against them. Um and so you know maybe it could be a bit of a a reprieve that way where you're not getting a ton of uh
82:22quick pressure which the Eagles have struggled against. They they're allowing quick pressure at the fourth highest rate. They're facing the highest blitz
82:28rate per drop back. So, um, this could be like a little bit, you know, maybe I am talking myself into the Eagles a bit
82:36where they >> Well, no, on paper it's there. On paper, it's there for him. It's just, you know, how much again, it's the confidence
82:43factor.
82:45>> Yeah. I mean, AJ Brown has been really strong over the last three weeks.
82:50>> Yeah. And and we were like, what's up with AJ Brown? Last three weeks, 2.68 yards per run, then 4.0, 2.33. I mean,
82:56he's been awesome.
82:57>> Goes back further since week six. He's the wide receiver five in yards per out run.
83:01>> Wow. Yeah. Week six 2.16 then 4.65 then he had a couple down games and then >> yeah mixed in >> turned it back on. So
83:10>> yeah I mean he he's probably the piece that that you are the most excited about here. Right. But from a DFS perspective
83:18it's it's not as fun. I did have him as like a high-end wide receiver too. You could you could talk me even into you
83:22know a little little higher than that.
83:23But >> yeah I had him like right on the line like right >> they're wide receiver one. wide receiver, too. And it was more just
83:30worried about the the passing volume for this team this game.
83:33>> Totally. Do you have any interest in in these Eagles pieces and defense? Because as we're talking about, like they are
83:39set up to look much better than they have recently.
83:42>> Yeah, I mean, if we flip if we come to Saturday night and you know, usually when I'm building everything and they're
83:48tracking to like not be popular, I probably will at least throw uh a stack out there in a single entry just for the
83:54sake of what the hell.
83:57>> I like it. I think this game environment I stand by is not going well.
84:02>> That's the main problem.
84:03>> Can the Eagles just do their thing? Like back remember three years ago now where they were just like rolling and like AJ
84:10Brown just like stomped the Steelers and then they pulled the starters like can we get back to that isn't running and
84:16that like we talked about with Dart like you're removing something that was like a a a feature not a bug >> like especially for this player for this
84:26player especially. Uh because right now he has he he he's been a top six scorer three times this season. That's it. Like
84:36he's had some okay floors, but like three spike weeks. Uh last year he had seven top six scoring weeks. The week
84:43year before that 11.
84:44>> That's wild.
84:45>> Like he's been basically just like an okay QB1, but you're not getting any like big over the top performances. And
84:52like this without any push here. Like how are we expecting that? like he would have to have multiple rushing touchdowns.
85:00>> Yeah. And I think >> he's down three and a half designed runs per game for him this year. He was at
85:076.26 6.8 and 5.6 the previous four years.
85:12>> Yeah.
85:14Yeah. It's this is a good setup for the Eagles. I think most likely we'll see like a piece get there like a it's a good AJ Brown
85:22game or it's a good Damonte Smith game or it's a good God game, right? Or maybe we could have Barkley blow up. But it's
85:28tough. It really is tough given the lack of push back and how far away the Eagles seem to be from from like when they were
85:35just like killing teams in three quarters. Like that's >> I guess back there.
85:41>> Sequin. I think you can talk me off of just like being like an okay player regardless like if you're just playing
85:45him. Then we like I'd rather play Derrick Henry like >> it's more about like the salary for me like 7100 and I'm the lineup kind of
85:54becomes about Saquon this week you know it's like I don't know um >> right there's so many expensive plays I like this week I don't think he's a bad
86:02play at all. This is you could definitely >> that's how I feel >> see him get there for sure but it's not
86:07one I'm super excited about.
86:10Um, >> I mean, I'm more confident in Travis ETN than I am Sigon Barkley.
86:15>> I think I am, too.
86:17>> I honestly think I am.
86:20We'll talk about him. There's There's maybe a little bit of concern I have.
86:23Well, >> there's Yeah, there's some Yeah, you can go to that one next because we're >> Yeah, let's talk about it right now.
86:28>> So, yeah, Travis ETN set up well here against uh this Jets team that's going to be starting um Brady Cook.
86:37Brady Cook's the sole reason people think Luther Burns a slot receiver.
86:43>> Go on.
86:44>> Because he can't he can't throw anywhere besides six yards downfield. That's why he came in and threw to Mason Taylor and
86:50and Jeremy Rucker the entire game last week. That's why Missou had to use Luther Burden the way they had to is
86:57because Brady Cook was quarterback.
86:59This is such a more efficient way of doing what I So I did a whole breakdown on Brady Cooks versus because it's kind
87:08of interesting, right? You pull out Justin Fields, then you put in Trod Taylor, who's kind of like an old Justin Fields and a little bit more reliable,
87:17but he's got the same play style. If anything, he's actually a little bit more aggressive downfield >> um in terms of his deep deep ball rate.
87:25But I I pulled So I was like, "Let's look at uh the deep passing because I was I think this kills AD Mitchell." The
87:32whole point was I think this kills AD Mitchell.
87:34>> Absolutely.
87:35>> Like he's It's over. Um we got one. We got one.
87:40>> We got one. And I have a bunch of Ad Mitchell in baseball. Like I you know, and he's been a helpful piece. So I do
87:47not want to be writing this. But I uh it's over it until we get Taylor back or Fields. Uh Mitchell's dead. I think AD
87:56dots over the past since joining the Jets, ADOTs have 17.8, 26.4, 14.8, 13.8.
88:03Um if you look at deep ball rate, Taylor has a deep ball rate of 12.7%. Per 30 attempts, that'd be 3.8 deep throws.
88:11Fields is at 6.9. Per 30 attempts, that would be 2.1 deep throws. Cook has 30 attempts so far. Hasn't thrown a deep
88:17ball. So we don't know. We don't even know what his rate is. We might get another 30 attempts before we get a deep
88:22ball. Um, but he yeah, I looked at his college numbers. Big- time deep throw rate of 3.6% which just behind where
88:29Kirk Cousins was in college. Fields was 5.7 which matched Drake May. Taylor was not far behind those guys at 5.4%.
88:37Cook had an ADOT from a clean pocket of 8.5 and then jumped to 11.5 under pressure which is very similar to where
88:44Kenny Picket was. He was 8.5 and 11.8.
88:46That that kind of gives you a sense of the type of passer we're talking about.
88:50Um that kind of both shows a not a very much willingness to pass deep, but also like >> when you get pressured sometimes it's
88:58because you're looking to let plays develop deep. The pressure exists because you you basically >> took that pressure on to buy yourself a
89:05a deep opportunity which you know with Trod Taylor he had an 11.7 AOT from a clean pocket. So that's deeper than
89:13Cook's AOT one under pressure and he was at 17.3 under pressure. Fields was 11.2 with a clean pocket, 13.1 under pressure. These guys are looking to make
89:23plays downfield all the time, but especially when, uh, there's pressure and Cook's just a completely different type of quarterback. So, uh, you know, I
89:32think he I honestly think he kills the Jets offense because the one thing we had going was AD Mitchell getting fed
89:39targets deep. Uh, he's got an eight out of 17.8 eight this year and a targets per hour of 23% which is like a pretty
89:45fun combo on a bad team because you don't need a ton of target volume and you can get there uh you don't need a
89:51ton of targets to connect I should say you're getting enough target volume that's deep downfield enough air yards that you know it's pretty valuable but
89:58it's over now uh it was fun while it lasted Mason Taylor uh is hurt now >> he's out >> he was he's out okay so now
90:08>> we're dealing with Jeremy Ruck honest to god Jeremy >> Ruck Bryce, >> he might just be Mason Taylor. He He's
90:14got a 18% target per run and 1.27 yards per run. I think he might be the same guy. Like >> this is he I'm not interested in the Ben
90:22Sonat thing. I am maybe kind of interested in >> Ruckard. Although I would I would want Taylor. I don't think I'm playing any of
90:28these guys with Cook.
90:30>> No. Yeah. No. I It'd be pure punt. It's He's a He's a pure punt. And again, like even people that want to play uh Senate,
90:39I get it. Like I'm not even like I'm not gonna yuck anyone's young that was like dude I'm playing this guy for this
90:44particular reason. He's a cheap ass tight end on the field please. But not talking you out of that any level. So if
90:50someone wants to punt with Rucker because he gets them to that salary gets them to a lineup that they love outside
90:55of Rucker by all means throw it throw it out there. Uh but yeah having any faith >> I would I would be like almost excited
91:05to punt with Rucker if we had Taylor.
91:08>> Correct. Uh because the other thing too is like I think they're just going to get flooded because the Jaguars have
91:13flooded all these bad quarterbacks of late. Like they they crushed Riley Leonard when he came in the game on Sunday. The week before Cam Ward they
91:22did absolutely nothing.
91:24>> Uh two weeks before that they the Chargers went to Jacksonville and scored six points. Had their they actually had their fewest uh yards in a game in like
91:3230 years. So >> Herbert was fourth percentile in EPA per play in that game. So, like I mean the and I don't know if the Jaguars actually
91:38have a good defense or not. I don't know because they're played all these bad quarterbacks too of late, but this I
91:45What's Brady Cook? Like what's >> Exactly. Exactly. It's good enough. It's good enough.
91:51>> If if you're a good if you're a good quarterback, you can cook against this defense. We've seen plenty examples of
91:56that. But, >> uh, if you're not good, I I'm worried about you. And I've chased I I overchased the Jaguars I think for a
92:03section of the season because of the Gino Smith game, but like I now I'm out.
92:08>> Yeah. I mean, the other thing with the Jags is that you get um passing volume typically, but this is the Jets, so we
92:15don't we can never count on pass volume with the Jets. They they sometimes they they have given up um multiple times.
92:21They just they just run the ball non-stop. Mhm.
92:24>> Um, so yeah, I'm not I'm not going to if my if my path to value is betting on the Jets to throw it a bunch, like that is
92:34thin as hell.
92:37>> Correct.
92:38>> Uh, Bree Hall, the volume is there. I was excited about him last week and I, you know what, I was right. 82% of the
92:49carries. How am I supposed to know Tor Taylor's gonna get hurt right away? You know, I can't control these things. Uh
92:55he got he got fed 75% of snaps, 82% of carries. Cook, I guess, apparently can't throw to the running back. 3% target
93:02share, which is uh pretty devastating.
93:05>> But um it's it's all Hall. He's he's he's the backfield now. They they literally thought they thought this was like the most overconfident coaching
93:14staff I've ever seen. They they come into the season, they're like, "We got three guys. We're going to play all these guys. Brillin Allen, Isaiah
93:20Davis." Then other teams are like, "Hey, great. Um, how about you play Isaiah Davis and we take Bree Hall." And then
93:27since then, since since considering what life without Bree Hall would look like, they've given him 71, 72, 71, 88, and 75% of snaps. They at some point the
93:36light bulb went off about >> what the other options are. So, I do like that, >> but I have him as a low-end RB2 for
93:43season long. You just almost have to.
93:45>> Yeah, >> cuz the matchup is crap, too. Like, not even do we were expecting the offense to say like literally be subterranean at
93:51this point in this game.
93:53>> It could be so bad.
93:54>> I mean, the Jaguars have allowed one running back to hit 90 total yards in a game this year, and it was Chris
93:59McAffrey.
94:00>> Mhm.
94:01>> It's just not It's not a good spot either. It's just the culmination of everything. It's It's just dark.
94:08>> Yep. Yeah, it's it's pretty rough. You you do you know maybe maybe when Taylor gets back things things things will get
94:15better but >> I mean if you're playing Bree Hall because you have to because of the volume like at that point in your
94:19lineups you're just hoping like something happens like a pass interference in the end zone or something stupid and your guy gets the
94:26end zone.
94:27>> You're hoping he takes a screen to the house you know something like that which we know he's capable of but
94:33>> it's it's going to be fluky.
94:34>> The downto down efficiency for this offense is going to be abysmal.
94:37>> Oh my god be rough. Yeah.
94:42Um, all right. Jaguars. We've got Trevor Lawrence coming off his most efficient game of the season going against a pretty bad Jets pass defense. I'm kind
94:52of Let me get your thoughts on the Jags first. I'm kind of like intrigued by Trevor Lawrence this week. And I'm not
94:57sure if I'm crazy.
94:59>> Uh, well, you should. He's thrown for eight yards for pass attempts in three straight games. How many times do you
95:03think in his career before this he's done that?
95:06>> Well, let's let's say zero in the Urban Meyer year.
95:12Now, now what am I asking? Is it how many times in three straight games or just eight yards?
95:17>> Yeah. No, three three straight games in a row for eight yards. Just once in his career has he done this before. Uh he's
95:22never done it four straight games, but uh he also has multiple passing touchdowns in three straight games. He's been >> a really solid quarterback over like the
95:30past month. And I do think that the the Jacobe Meyers addition has to play this because they have a guy playing that
95:37role in the offense that's suited to play that role. Maybe it could have been Travis Hunter at this point. It maybe
95:41maybe >> it might have been he might have been there now. Yeah.
95:44>> Yeah. And we just never got >> when you have like a rookie playing like a correct somewhat of a safety blanket
95:51role, you know.
95:52>> Um so >> I do think that I do think that Jacobe Meyers being in like that Chris Godwin type role has like made because Brian
95:58Thomas was in that role but he was playing it out of position and now it might help Brian Thomas that he can play
96:03outside. I'm waiting to see though because Parker Washington looks like he's going to play and we haven't seen like all three guys play together. And
96:09then the other thing is what we talked about. So since the Jaguars week eight by uh they're 30th in drop back rate
96:16like so I mean I look at this and I'm just like I expect Tootton to get more involved than he was last week after the
96:22fumble. But it just looks like a big running game. Yeah, it looks like a big running game for the Jags.
96:28>> Yeah, I agree. And the Jets are bleeding out right now in the run game.
96:34>> Yeah, they really I mean what would what would you do if you're if you're they they can't do this again, right?
96:43>> They have to scorch the earth again, man.
96:45>> They have to clean house, right?
96:46>> Yeah. Uh over the past four week the past month, the Jets have allowed five RB1 scorers in four their last four
96:53games. Six top 20 scoring running backs in their past four games.
96:57>> What's the hope? What like what what has this season provided? It reminds me of the Patriots last year. It's just like
97:02>> they have to just Yeah, you have to just reset it and >> you have to reset it. There's no there's
97:07nothing about this season where you go, "Well, at least the well at least is that your your impending free agent running back looks okay." Well, at least
97:17I guess well at least AD Mitchell can sometimes do something. Is that >> they acquired some draft picks for their good defensive players?
97:25>> You have more draft picks than you used to, which is a pretty good well at least. But on the field, there's really
97:31nothing. So, God, >> no, there's nothing to feel good about.
97:35Um, and it's a bummer because no one knows. I don't think we even know if Tanner Ring String was good or not. And
97:40he we who cares?
97:41>> I think we know.
97:42>> I think we know. He's not good. This dude's not good.
97:47Like, I mean, there's there's little thing, you know, like you're in situations where it's like, all right, you got to pass. You you we're we're
97:56putting you in a position where now you got to play left-handed. What's that look like? And it's like I I don't have
98:00a left hand. I only play right hand.
98:02>> That's true. That's true though. That that that should count. That should count.
98:05>> It counts a lot to me. And and you know, the stuff with Brillin Allen and and everything I I thought was just like
98:11uber dumb at the time and has, you know, aged even poor, you know, more poorly.
98:16They just it's like, dude, you didn't assess your roster well. You didn't build a an offense that was at all interesting or anyway, I've got some
98:24thoughts. Um, but we move we move to the the Jaguars here with uh with them running more. I completely agree. I do
98:34>> I like the passing matchup while they're throwing. I just don't know how much like we're going to be throwing.
98:40>> Well, yeah. I mean, in that sense, I'm kind of intrigued by Brian Thomas here who um is a deep threat now. They've
98:51moved him into that deep threat role with Jacobe Myers. and Jacobe Myers last week had a 30% targets per out run. You
98:56know, it's kind of clearly the the number one that way, but Thomas the last four games has had a dots of 14.3, 17.4,
99:0515.7, and 25.8. So, this isn't entirely connect because one, the first one of those before they got Myers, but um actually the second one was as well, but
99:16they they've been moving him into a deeper role. And if you look at the way you can attack the Jets through the air,
99:22they they allow explosives. They protect the middle of the field well, but but not so great outside the numbers, which is honestly where I think Lawrence wants
99:30to live a little bit and then where Brian Thomas is now. And this is overall a pretty weak pass defense and not a
99:37good pass rush. So if you're like, hey, let's have some like longer developing deep shots to Brian Thomas, this is a a
99:46good spot for it. And like Trevor Lawrence coming off his best game of the year, but 57% completion percentage in that game, minus 2% CPOE in that game.
99:53Like he's still, and this is the thing with Lawrence. I went back and looked, >> it's just not going to change. Like
99:58>> he's not going to change. His his CPOE has been between zero and minus 5% in every year. It's at minus 5% right now.
100:05His completion percentage has been between 60 and 66%. He's at 60% right now. Um, and he's been at that both those low numbers before. He's not
100:13setting new lows now. He's just kind of tying new he's tying those lows. It's just like he's a boom bust quarterback
100:19who takes he likes to throw outside deep, you know, but this is a defense that if you now maybe this isn't the
100:26right slate for it. This might be like a more of an 11 game slate type of mindset, but um with some lower scoring
100:33totals because I don't think Lawrence is gonna like nuke here because >> he's like probably gonna get like 16 to 20 points.
100:40>> Yeah. Yeah. But like a single stack to Thomas is at least something I've thought about.
100:46>> Yeah. I mean, like I said, I like that everything for the passing game. It just feels like a game where, you know, if
100:51you play this game out, most times the median outcome is them just doing what they've tried to do, run the ball a lot
100:57and they're probably going to be able to.
101:00>> Do you think like ETN's going to seed some work to Toot? I think Tuton got benched basically. Um, but his his carry
101:08shares have been pretty good recently.
101:10So, >> I think we'll see him again play, but it's still like we just have to we we have to accept that Travis
101:19Tien's not going away.
101:21>> Well, it's not that he's not going away, it's that he might be like the guy. Um, and I think he might be the guy this
101:28week. I'm not 100% sure he's the guy, but if he is the guy, like this is an awesome setup for him.
101:33>> Yeah, it's it's a it's a real good spot for him.
101:37uh the one guy if you know Brian Thomas might feel a little bit too thin on a slate where um spending 5700 is not easy
101:47to do like it's you got to think about that 5700 so >> yeah cuz like Williams is like 400 above him
101:54>> right right so so that might you might be out on that I get it Brenton Strange >> can maybe interest you in in some
102:02Bretton Strange um >> I mean we we saw like the target distribution, too. And you're talking about the uh Meyers Thomas stuff. The
102:09wild card is is Parker Washington. But it's almost direct a direct split though from the opening like six weeks of when
102:16the the Bucks had Godwin and Evans. Like Evans' target share was completely way down to open last year uh for his career
102:23and then it took off when Godwin got hurt. So, it's like >> it's like he's running back kind of the same playbook now. He just has he's
102:30finding the the guys to fill the right spots. Maybe Parker Washington's Jaylen McMillan. I don't know.
102:35>> Maybe. Yeah. But but Strange has been like his So he has a 1.84 yards per out run this year, 19% targets per out run.
102:43He's been pretty involved. And then last week he had a 22% first read target rate, 26% targets per out run, only 1.17
102:51yards per run. So it didn't work, but they've been trying to It's like you get these different mixes where he doesn't
102:58run a ton of routes. He has a really good yards per route run. um or he runs a lot of routes and he doesn't get a ton
103:03of targets or he gets a ton of targets but then the targets don't connect. So, it's like uh he's not kind of putting it
103:11all together, but I do think Brentton Strange has more upside than it might feel like. Uh he's 4200 so he's not like
103:20super super cheap at tight end but he's he's someone I might revise this and say Trevor Lawrence to to Strange would be
103:27be the way I'd single stack this game because then you get quarterback taken care of pretty cheaply and tight end taken care of reasonably cheaply.
103:34>> I take it.
103:37>> All right. Uh and yeah, ETN is a is a pretty ETN's what 6,500. So he's not cheap, but I mean he he has a legit
103:45ceiling in this matchup. like this is a potential multi-touchdown game, you know, scoring from outside of 20 yards because he's been pretty explosive this
103:52year. Maybe punches another one in, that type of thing. So, I do I do like the ETN play. It's a little boom bust, but
103:59um the ceiling is definitely there.
104:03>> Cardinals at Texans, can Jacobe Brassette keep it rolling against the best defense in the league?
104:10>> Uh they haven't allowed more than 225 passing yards in a game. This is the ultimate test, right? like he I mean if
104:15he does it again he's got well here he's gonna throw 40 times.
104:20>> We know that.
104:22>> We know that >> that's happening. But Paris Johnson's out. Huge deal. They're already they already had lost Jonah Williams a month
104:30ago.
104:31>> Yeah.
104:31>> So they're down to tackles three and four against the Texans.
104:35>> Uh not great.
104:37>> Not great. Uh they're also had a bunch of defensive players again this week because like they're just circling the drain like this team. Uh, all the
104:45Texans, there's not a Texan you could tell me isn't a good play in this game.
104:49Uh, they have their highest implied total of the season uh, pretty significantly.
104:54>> I like the Texans here, man. I like the Texans.
104:56>> Yeah, I I >> like the Texans offense. I I like >> I tried to bring up to Hyo that Straoud
105:01was going to be underplayed on the slate. Um, but I worry about the Lawrence factor like how much ceiling do we have?
105:06>> Is he on Stout? I feel like his his uh specialty is getting these these under >> Yeah. Yeah. Um, yeah, he was he was he
105:14was okay with it when I brought it up. I do worry about the Lawrence factor, but I have more confidence in the Cardinals
105:19doing something than the Jets.
105:22Uh, >> oh, I I you know, I let's let's uh let's say what that something is because I have a ton of
105:31confidence in the Cardinals doing something and that something is stopping the clock.
105:35>> They're going to incomplete passes stop the clock.
105:42We're gonna have a lower time of possession because their possessions don't run time off the clock.
105:46>> Never.
105:47>> So, yeah. So, we're gonna we're going to get the ball back. I mean, that might be an extra drive.
105:52>> They they might pass enough to get maybe two, you know, to for the Texans. I mean, not the car. I don't care about
105:58the Cardinals are going to do.
106:00>> They're not scoring points here, I don't think, >> but they're going to throw it.
106:04>> So, >> and I don't think the Texans are going to slow down until they necessarily have to because remember this is this is a
106:09must win for them, too. like they're all must wins for them the rest of the way out. So, I think they might be a little
106:14more aggressive than we think, especially with the Nick Chub injury. I like to spot for Woody Marks, but I still when I look at it because Woody
106:20Mark's gonna be popular regardless, but Straoud, Nico Collins, and if you want to get cute and add like a Jaden Higgins
106:26or a Dalton Schultz, man, like all right, >> I'm not even sure that's that's cute with Schultz. Schultz is just a good
106:32play. He's just a straightup good play.
106:35He's been he's been I think he had 89% round participation last week and he's been pretty solid this year. Like I I
106:41was a little bit worried about him.
106:43>> They were playing some Cade Stove at the end of last year and stuff, but like he's he's seems pretty locked in and um
106:49yeah, I think you can just have this as like the the Texans kind of Texans offense looks a little bit better here.
106:58I I don't think you need them to score like a ton of points. It's like Stout's 5200, Schultz is 4,100, and Collins is
107:0467. I think like that double stack again, like the car I don't need the Cardinals to like push back. I need them
107:11to just be a little bit better than most teams can be at keeping volume in the game >> against an elite defense. And I I do
107:18trust the Cardinals. Like I don't The one thing I fully fully trust with the Cardinals >> is that they will attempt to throw the
107:26ball. They've had just such commitment to the past now. They they're the only team to hit a 75% plus pass rate five
107:32different times this year. And you know what? They're about to hit it six times because they're they're going to chuck it. They're going to chuck it.
107:40>> Yeah. And people don't realize that their pass rate was really high actually with Kyler, too.
107:44>> Yeah, it was.
107:45>> It was, you know, just the offense was not as good, but >> they had they hit an 81% pass rate
107:50against the Seahawks in week four. So, they were still they were throwing. Not as much as this, but they were throwing.
107:56No. And like I said, it's not a match up like I'm not gonna because the thing with Brousette is like he's been getting
108:02there but just been getting there. Like he gets he's like that. He gets you to 20 points, but it's like do you need me
108:08to 25? No, man. I get to here. This is where I get to.
108:12>> Yeah.
108:13>> So, and then you even if we dock that a little bit for the Texans. So, it's like I don't think I'm going back to
108:18Brassette. I'm probably not going back to Michael Wilson at his cost, but I think he's going to get a shitload of
108:22targets. They're gonna throw the the the targets are going to be there for both these guys. It's just how much efficiency is going to be there.
108:28>> Wilson looks like when his price went up I think by about a thousand.
108:32>> Yeah, they they finally gave him a solid nudge.
108:35>> Yeah, >> cuz you know why? He's freaking 40% owned every week, >> right? I mean, he's still gonna have a
108:42little like he's not gonna be completely unowned this week, but >> No, because he's been so good. Like gamers will click that button until they
108:48get burned.
108:49Nico Collins is $100 more than Michael Wilson.
108:53>> Ludicrous.
108:55>> What a Nico Collins is a kind of an awesome play. I think >> I think he's a great play.
108:59>> Love it. I I consider making him the cover boy, but then I was like, if I make him the cover boy, then the the
109:05first thing that people will read is about uh the Cardinals offense against the Texans defense. I was like, I can't start my article that way. But I mean,
109:15the these past five weeks, >> they the Cardinals are getting absolutely decimated. Like they're 30 30th in completion rate, 32nd in yards
109:24uh per pass attempt, 32nd in touchdown rate allowed. They're terrible against the run. Uh but the granted the Texans might not be able to run great anyways,
109:31but they'll run here.
109:32>> They'll run okay. They'll run enough.
109:34>> They'll run okay and they'll run enough.
109:36>> They'll keep the chains moving. The other thing about Straoud and Nico is you get leverage on one of the most po
109:41like Woody Marks is gonna be one of the most popular plays on the slate for good reason too. Don't get >> I think he's a totally fine play. I'm
109:48not I'm not suggesting baiting him but >> when Ler don't have him and you've got Stra and Nico that's that's leverage.
109:55>> Yeah, absolutely. Like to me that was one of the first things that I thought on the slate that stood out was that
110:00cheap if you're going to play cheap quarterbacks like Straoud kind of stood out indoors we don't have to worry about anything.
110:07So, >> I like I like the Straoud Nico stuff a lot.
110:10>> And it's like you there's there's a few different ways. The the Lawrence one I floated and stuff, but I like the
110:16Straoud uh Nico stack I think the most of these these types of plays >> because your ceiling is is really high
110:24here with these guys.
110:26>> The the other thing with Straoud, I think there's sort of a like a Straoud an anti-strad narrative this year that I
110:32don't really understand. Um, I know he hasn't been great and I know, you know, we had high expectations for him after
110:40his rookie season and then he wasn't great last year and this offense has been frustrating like for pretty much the whole year.
110:48>> But like, you know, he does not have a good offensive line and EPA per game on on a very run uh, sorry, a very
110:55defenseoriented team, he's been good.
110:59Like, he hasn't been great, but like here here he is right next to to Burrow.
111:02Now, Burrow is not Burrow's normally all the way up here on the top right, but >> um this has not been like a disastrous
111:09season for Stout, I would say. And >> this is the type of player who I think has ceiling beyond what we've seen if
111:17you know a little better >> in his best matchups. He's hit like he faced that Yeah. Remember he faced Baltimore when they had like nobody
111:26left. He had uh 288 28.8 points. He faced the 49ers right after the Fred Warner injury and had 22 points and he
111:34had 18 and a half points against the Titans. Like other than that, like his schedule's actually been pretty they've they've run into pretty tough matchups,
111:42too. But he's taken advantage of these spots like the one he has right now, which gives me a little more confidence.
111:48We did if you don't want the matchup to drive the cart. You want to have something for the player. And it's like
111:52he's already proven that he's been usable in these spots against these opponents. That's what makes me think like, all right, we can go to him here.
111:59>> And 98th percentile in the paper pay-per-play in that Ravens match of 93rd against the 49ers, 84th against the Titans, and then he's been pretty decent
112:07recently. The the Broncos uh and then the Colts, this is they had Ward.
112:11>> That's the game he got knocked out of the Broncos game is when he took the concussion. He took the >> Oh, you're right. Yeah. Okay. And then
112:16uh he wasn't so great last week as we all >> But that's in Arrowhead. in Arrowhead.
112:22You Spags is gonna give you some business, man.
112:26>> And that the offensive line is a is a legitimate problem as we as we all know.
112:30But the Cardinal >> not here. They're good.
112:35>> So, yeah, I like I like the Straoud stuff. Um, anything I mean Cardinals run game we don't even really have to get into. Uh,
112:45there's not much there. And then the >> And they don't run.
112:49>> And they don't run. So, >> well, probably because of this situation, too. It doesn't help.
112:54>> McBride, if you have him anywhere, you're just thankful. Uh, there's not really a discussion there. Are you His prices dropped uh from 8,000 to 7,400.
113:04Do you have any interest in DFS?
113:06>> Also, too, uh, yeah, the Cardinals also ruled out three starting secondary players.
113:11>> Oh my god.
113:13>> I wanted just throw that out there, too.
113:15>> Texans, baby.
113:16>> Yeah, might be that. And that's why the Texans are our wagon. No, >> they Man, we That would have been a dark
113:22horse, man. Uh, for sure.
113:24>> Dark horse.
113:25>> Yeah, man. We We kicked a couple teams around. Uh, I'm fine with seasonl long stuff. McBride, and I think he could
113:32still get there through volume, but I don't think I'm going to be paying this price this weekend. Just the way I want
113:37to I think the way I want to build lineups is not paying top dollar for a tight end against the Texans.
113:43In a in a week where we could use some salary relief, I would like to play Jaden Higgins, but I don't think it's
113:51that great of an idea. I don't know.
113:52He's 4200.
113:54Uh, and his his route participation dropped to 54% last week.
113:59>> Yeah.
114:00>> 63% against the Colts. He was like on the rise, it looked like, and now is kind of coming back down. So, I'm not
114:05sure what the deal is.
114:07Uh he's been efficient, went on the field uh or he's been an efficient target earner, I should say. He's he's got 1.43 yards per hour run, which is
114:16>> it looked bad the opening month of the season. I was like cuz I liked him as a prospect and I was like
114:21and now >> he was pretty overpriced. I mean that much is clear.
114:25>> Yeah.
114:26>> From a from a you know basketball draft ADP point of view.
114:29>> Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Also too, it shouldn't matter the this sentence I'm about to say, but it might.
114:36Justin Watson's gonna play this week.
114:38>> Oh, no.
114:40>> He's coming back. It shouldn't matter.
114:42>> It shouldn't matter.
114:43>> It shouldn't matter.
114:45>> But Nick Ka's done some stuff this year that >> Oh, god. I mean, Xavier Hutchinson is playing uh as much as the rookie, so
114:54cannot rule out Justin Watson.
114:55>> They did give it was nice to see Jaylen Nolan Sunday play a little bit more. or he should be playing more regardless.
115:00But hey, >> if if the projections, you know, if I if I've run some some lineups and and Higgins ends up in there on Stout stuff,
115:09I'm not going to I'm not going to overrule, but he's not someone I'm >> But I think you're right. At same at
115:15same price, >> he's he's basically the same price as Schultz >> and Schultz plays for sure.
115:21>> Schultz is going to be out there every snap.
115:23>> Yeah.
115:24>> And the matchup's still good for Schultz, too. So, >> right. All right. And it's been, I think, just as efficient yards per run.
115:28So, why not?
115:30>> You're getting a guy on the field every time. Like, yeah, every >> Yeah, he's 1.45 yards per hour run. So,
115:35they're almost identical in yards per hour run. Um Yeah. So, give me Schultz all day over Higgins.
115:42>> And then you fill that tight end spot and you're good. You're just You get out of there.
115:46>> Yeah.
115:48All right. Let's go to Browns at Bears.
115:53Uh, dude, the offensive line for the Browns.
115:58>> Yep. It's It's in real bleak shape here.
116:01>> They They lost Dan Jones a while ago to IR. He's a starting left tackle. They lost Ethan Posich to a ruptured Achilles
116:07last week. Uh, right guard Wyatt Teller DMPDMP with a calf. Left guard Joel Batonio DMPD DMP with a knee. Right tackle Jack Conkland's DMP DMP with a
116:19concussion.
116:20There is a pretty good chance here that they are down all five starters on the offensive line this week.
116:28>> Yes.
116:28>> Uh fortunately they play a Bears team that doesn't have So okay so here's the thing. Conklin's out. Uh Wyatt Teller's
116:36out.
116:36>> Yeah.
116:37>> And poach is out and Dwan Jones has already been out. So >> but Tonio was limited. He's questionable. So they might is actually
116:44their best lineman. So he's >> they actually had benched Wyatt.
116:50That's Well, >> in the 49ers game, they they they pulled him.
116:55>> Oh, okay. So, Oh, yeah. And who's the other guy?
116:59There's some Yeah, they've got some other >> Yeah. Anyway, >> it's not good, though.
117:03>> It's not good. It's not good. Uh >> and it's funny because you like think three like three years ago.
117:09>> It's like, oh, that right guard that you're saying that they lost, they actually already benched that guy. Yeah, but uh think about how this is why I
117:17always tell people in Dynasty like when a guy gets drafted to a spot and they're talking about like look at the offensive
117:22line. I'm like dude that it's so volatile in the NFL. We thought the Browns had the best offensive line in the NFL for like two or three years and
117:27like look how fast it's it's gotten >> it's over. Yeah, the offensive line stuff's crazy because it matters so much but like it
117:35>> but it's just in dynasty like you just can't it's so volatile like yeartoyear with injuries.
117:43>> Yeah.
117:43>> And I don't know if you've seen too like so I've been tweeting every month I've been tweeting out this chart that shows
117:49offensive line continuity, the team's most often used offensive line in the season and how many plays it's run. And we are down to 11 teams that have had
117:56their top offensive line uh on the field for over 50% of their plays or more >> with a month to go in the season.
118:03>> Geez, >> it's real bad. Uh there's some teams that are crazy. Like the Chargers are at like 16% of their offensive plays. It's
118:10just real rough. Real real rough. Yeah, it's uh I mean the thing with with the Browns is that like honestly if Bonio
118:18Antonio Bonio's been good and everyone else on that team has been so bad that maybe it doesn't matter that their four
118:25of their players are being replaced.
118:27>> Also you your quarterback allows pressure at the highest rate in the league too.
118:33>> Yeah. Yeah. So, the Browns basically comes down to um how excited are you about Harold Fannon with Injoku out?
118:42Although it doesn't really even matter that he's out because he he was already running all the routes, but >> um but Ninjoku did catch a touchdown
118:49last week. That's the play he got hurt on. Um >> so there was, you know, potentially it adds a little bit more value to Fannon.
118:56Uh, and then how much excitement do you have for Quinchon Judkins who's going against a Bears defense that you can run
119:04on? Now, they're they're a road dog, so that's not the most exciting setup for a touchdown dependent running back, but it's not the worst setup for a running
119:13back on the Browns either.
119:15>> Right. After last week, I think I'm I'm just not going to play Judkins in DFS.
119:21If you want to play him in season long, the other season long. Yeah. Well, you and both Ford and Samson are out as
119:26well. Ford got put on an hour and they ruled Samson out today. So, at least he'll run some routes this week, which
119:31he hasn't done at all. He hasn't done at all. And dude, he's still like on that screen he had last week, that 58 yard
119:38screen, he looked explosive. And it made me just realize how bad the situation has been for him cuz like dude, he was
119:44shot out of a cannon on it's like he just hasn't had any opportunities to operate in space this year. And >> no, he's a he's a good back for sure.
119:51>> Yeah. So, I I mean, I'm fine. I think the volume could be there. He's going to run some routes, but like he's not cheap
119:57uh to play in DFS. And like, what kind of ceiling do we have? Fannon, I'm cool with like 4K. He's going to get a bunch
120:03of targets. Uh the Bears are beatable in the middle of the field. They've had tight ended or linebacker issues the entire season. Uh Fannon, I think, is
120:11the one Brown I'm locked in in. I'm not going to chase Shadore, although it was at least again, like my thing, my whole
120:18argument with Shador is like, >> he was legit good last week. At least throw. He's He's at least willing to make the game fun.
120:24>> Like, if we can That's my my whole crux of it. My whole crux of him is like Dylan Gabriel, they were failing in the
120:31worst most boring way possible. It's like they had seven condoms on the offense. No, there was no Yankoff with the with the Browns offense.
120:39>> Put Yankoff in.
120:41>> There's no Yanke off. At least Shador is out here, you know, trying to make something happen. And I at least it's
120:47something.
120:49And last week it And last week it worked out like we hit the big plays.
120:53>> I agree. He's he's trying to he's trying to do fun stuff.
120:56>> Yeah. So like Yeah. But the offensive line >> losing to the Titans in the process, but he's trying to do fun stuff
121:02>> at home. At home.
121:03>> At home with a great defense. Although you got I mean the Browns defense was not good last week. Their run game,
121:09their run defense was so bad.
121:11>> Um yeah, Harold Fannon. I mean the shallow AOT I think helps.
121:16>> Uh 4,000. you can you can count on a bunch of targets. So, I think he's a pretty he's a pretty strong play. Um,
121:22and honestly, like I know this is silly, but I I really do care if Patonio goes because I think that it's like he's like
121:28the one piece where they've been kind of starting a bunch of backup level players around him all year. So, if he goes,
121:34maybe it doesn't matter um that they're down the other four guys. But, uh thoughts on the Bears side of this?
121:42Dunes was practicing this week, but I was assuming out It seems with the the initial miss like three to five weeks. Yeah. Yeah. What
121:53are you doing?
121:54>> Like you just don't need to do it here.
121:56>> Limited all week. Questionable.
121:58>> This is another game that's uh you know probably a lot of handoffs.
122:03A lot of handoffs. A lot of Ben a lot of Manungai. A lot of DeAndre Swift in this game >> because because you're just not gonna
122:11get pushed on the scoreboard, I don't believe. And that's going to allow Ben Johnson to just stay in a script like
122:17they did against the Eagles. They might have that kind of efficiency where both guys are going for 100 yards, but they're going to run the ball. Browns
122:24have been vulnerable outside. They've actually even before last week were starting to bend on defensively and it's just because you can't operate as a
122:32defense at this level when your offense is that bad. Like eventually it just catches up to you. You you just can't
122:38carry even in this current NFL era. You can't win with just defense. You can't.
122:45You just can't. And the Browns were good.
122:47>> I mean, I would say the Browns are proving that this year.
122:50>> Yes. And but they had already even uh since the first six games of the year, they were already 18th in yards for
122:56carry to running backs. They lost Malik Collins uh two weeks ago. Um and this season, they have faced 141 backfield runs with Collins off the field. They've
123:06allowed 4.7 yards for carry. That's 23rd. Compared to 3.2 2 yards per carry on the 154. It's almost a 50-50 split,
123:13not just this last game's worth. And uh they go from literally a yard and a half carry more. Uh wow. So, and it's just
123:21the wrong team to be missing uh a piece on because the Bears want to run the ball.
123:26>> It's also a bad team for Caleb Williams because >> his whole deal is that he, you know, holds the ball a long time, takes on
123:34pressure, and then it doesn't matter because he escapes. I don't know if you're escaping against Miles Garrett, man. I don't know if that's going to
123:41work. So, you know, I've been kind of a Caleb skeptic in that way where I think, you know, he basically my read on Caleb
123:49is that when I believe in the pass rush, I don't believe in Caleb.
123:53>> Correct.
123:53>> And um when the pass rush is not so fearsome, you know, I mean, you know, I see it too. He can do he looks like
124:01Lamar Jackson behind the line of scrimmage. He does that. You know, he he makes guys miss in cool ways. He's spinning around. It's fun, but if he's
124:08under pressure a lot in part because he does hold the ball a long time, which creates more pressure, uh you just don't
124:15like teams have not been doing that at all against Browns. Like you don't hold the ball against the Browns, you get the
124:19ball out quickly. Uh you know, and and Caleb doesn't do that, you know? He he holds the ball consistently for a long
124:27time every week. So I think if you're Ben Johnson and you and look, I mean, this has been an awesome year for Ben
124:33Johnson. He looks kind of every bit the the guru that was promised, but I think he understands, you know, what he has in
124:40Caleb. He's starting to get more out of him. Um, you know, Caleb does look more comfortable in the system over time a
124:46bit. And, uh, if I was Ben Johnson, if I was going to, you know, try to predict what Ben Johnson's going to do, be, hey,
124:54Caleb probably wants to hold the ball against the defense you can't hold the ball against, I'm just gonna run it. I'm
124:58gonna run it a bunch.
124:59>> I would say >> I think they pound the rock. our year of doing the show, there's no player we've been more accurate on week to week than
125:06Caleb Williams.
125:09>> Yeah, it's been identifiable like with his skill set like you said.
125:14>> I'll take I'll here's what I will take an L on is that so the we have been pretty accurate with like hey it's a
125:21Caleb it's a week to play Caleb Williams.
125:23>> It's a spike week for him or not.
125:25>> I on the Steelers one I was I was probably overly negative on that. He still wasn't that efficient, but he was,
125:31you know, >> he threw three touchdowns.
125:33>> He threw three touchdowns. So, I'll take an L there. And I'll take an L on thinking that, and we didn't discuss
125:39this one because it was uh the week we took off. This is the Black Friday game, but I would have talked about how he was
125:46going to get exposed against the Eagles and they won that game. But I think this is like that game in that, you know, he
125:52was actually pretty inefficient against the Eagles and they still won. I think that that's probably what we're looking at here where um I expect him to win
126:00this game like pretty easily, but I don't think that Kale will be super efficient playtoplay.
126:06>> Um because you know he will take pressure when he drops back and they just lean on the run game here to to
126:10lead them to a victory.
126:14Uh all right, I think we can I mean you're not playing like these running backs are you're not playing them in DFS
126:19or anything like >> No, no, no.
126:20>> Yeah, me neither.
126:22>> No, none of the receivers either, unfortunately. Unfortunately, >> looked good though in his opportunity.
126:27>> Looked good, but he's 4,800. It's not really cheap enough.
126:29>> No, he was 3,800 last week and everyone played him. That's why his salary went up, >> right? Loveland I would play if he was
126:36running more routes and we had worse tight end options, but there's there's actually a lot of tight end option options this week and he's running about
126:41half the routes.
126:42>> Yeah, I played a lot of those guys because last week I was playing a lot of Jordan Love stuff. Uh, so we had like
126:48the you just fit in so nicely, the Jordan Love, Christian Watson sacks.
126:53>> Yeah. But not this week.
126:54>> Not this week. All right. Packers at Broncos.
126:58This is Do we have Josh Jacobs word yet?
127:00Do we want to come back? Maybe we'll come back to this one.
127:02>> He practiced.
127:03>> He practiced. Limited.
127:05>> Uh yeah, he was at practice. Um he said they, you know, appears to be in good spirits, whatever, but he practiced. So
127:12I imagine he's going to try to go. Um we can always do a thing just, you know, if if he's out. But I think he's going to
127:18try to play just such a big spot. But he comes with the volatility though, like in it's not a great matchup. They're on
127:25the road. He has touchdown equity, but that's really kind of all you're counting on uh with him. One thing to note is when he's played hurt, they're
127:33reducing his routes. That's like how they're getting him off the field more like his because he still had a lot of
127:38carries last week, but they're getting his routes kind of uh in like the in a depressed mode like like he was RB27, I
127:44think last week in route participation.
127:46>> That's such a funny way to trick yourself into thinking you're saving a guy. I know, dude. We talk about there's
127:51so many things the NFL like >> like, "Oh, yeah. Good thing we got his snaps down." Oh, those thing where he
127:56kind of jogs over to the side a little.
127:59>> Good thing you saved him. But, you know, you did give him 17 carries into the the heart of the defense.
128:05>> The eightman boxes.
128:07>> Do you think that maybe was hard on his knee at all? Uh, >> yeah. There's a there's a reason he's
128:13hurt.
128:14>> Yeah. again.
128:15>> He gave him 77% of the carries against the against the Bears last week and then his knee and then his knee swelled up
128:20again. Like Yeah.
128:21>> But I I am really worried about the state of this offensive line in this matchup >> about the uh the Packers offensive line.
128:29>> Yeah. I mean, they're a team that's been just kind of banged up all year. They're another team that like because no one
128:35has a larger discrepancy when pressure did not than Jordan Love. He literally leads the NFL in completion rate kept clean and is dead last in under
128:43pressure. Like there's no different.
128:45He's he has not thrown a touchdown. He's a 0% touchdown rate under pressure this year.
128:49>> Not one touchdown pass. Uh he goes to 31st. He goes the second in yards for pass kept clean to 31st in yards pass
128:56temp when pressured. Like no one has a larger chasm of play to play like getting pressure or not. And so >> he's they're 16th in EPA per drop back
129:06under pressure. So, I guess he's he's not having gigantic mistakes. Otherwise, that would be low.
129:10>> Oh, yeah. He's protecting the ball.
129:11Yeah.
129:12>> Yeah.
129:12>> But, uh, OD doesn't take sacks, though.
129:14That's his other his other trick is he doesn't take s, >> but the production dries up completely.
129:19>> Yeah. And his he's a guy I've been out on the last two weeks, uh, for the matchups. But like his his last three
129:26QB1 scoring weeks have all been pretty identifiable. You know, Giants, Lions, Bears last week. Uh, I was pushing for him last week. We got there. Um, but
129:35this on the road in Denver, this feels like not a spot we're gonna go chase.
129:41>> No.
129:43Are you at all interested in Watson who's just been kind of every week further >> not really like him and Wilson? I'm
129:50giving I'm pumping the brakes. I've been playing those guys religiously, but I also am pumping the brakes on him uh as
129:56well. He hasn't even So, Watson's been living on the efficiency and touchdowns, but he hasn't had 90 he hasn't even hit
130:0290 yards in a game yet. So, Yeah, >> you can hit one. You You tell me he hits one, I'll say, "Yeah, he's he's good
130:09enough to hit one." But I don't think this because like Christian Watson's never the guy that's going to give you like the game where it's like, man, he
130:15really just like metriculated a seven for 95 game.
130:19>> The other thing with Watson is he's he's got an 18.5 A dot. So, it's one of those things where so far it's just been like
130:26all good, but against the Broncos pass rush, >> right, against Pat Certan, like it's pretty easy to see actually how like the
130:36guy who gets target 20 yards downfield, all of a sudden the targets dry up against, you know, a great defense. So,
130:43>> um I I think he's he's just more boom bust than >> like every every wide receiver with an 18 AOT is boom bust full stop. That's
130:52just a really really deep A dot. Uh >> and he hasn't been boom bust yet really in the you know since returning from
130:59injury. But he is you know we're going to see some down games if unless unless they start mixing in more intermediate
131:04targets but I don't necessarily expect that. So >> I don't either.
131:08>> Um >> and and Jay Reed's back and Jaden Reed came back and he's gonna get those the quick the quick stuff.
131:16Jacobs I had as a high-end RB2 for um season long stuff that >> it's more like his path to value here is
131:23is one touchdowns but two volume and so if he's >> you know dealing with a swollen knee >> uh it just it just hurts him. Like I I
131:32would like this might seem crazy but I would be more excited about Wilson than I am currently about >> Jacobs.
131:39>> No, not even because of cost. I think I would think I would have Wilson as like a better play because I can just project
131:48all the volume on you. Like can I like with Jacobs, am I getting the volume?
131:52Maybe maybe I'm being overly pessimistic on Jacobs, but I I am worried about like what if his knee swells up during the
131:58game? Like what is you know there's there's probably like eight nine carry outcomes for Josh Jacobs here where I think Wilson at least you'd like
132:06>> yeah if any there's an aggravation in game. He also just because all this is happening, he hasn't given any tournament worthy scores since week the
132:13Bengals game. He's been getting there for fantasy football on the touchdown stuff, but he's been getting like 17 points, 19 points, 18 points. Like he he
132:22he's he hasn't gone over over 20. The Carolina game, he hit 20. Uh and then that was the last time we saw like a
132:29super spike week from him.
132:31>> Um and it's >> at the very least I think it's it's roughly equivalent Jacobs and and Wilson. It's just because the volume for
132:38Jacobs is my point being we can't expect the normal volume we would get with Jacobs and that's his key to value against this
132:46defense. So that's that's unfortunate >> and no one's allowing fewer yards to running backs on the season than the Broncos. Total yards that is that's
132:53including because I brought this up with JT last week when we were talking about the target show stuff. I was like dude
132:57like I don't know what it is. I don't know if these guys are staying in protection more or not, but like they
133:01give up no catches to running backs.
133:04And I I don't really know the reason.
133:05There's probably a smarter person than me that can figure it out, but like they allow running backs have 13.3% of the
133:12catches allowed by the Broncos. It's the lowest rate in the NFL. Like they just the running backs don't get targeted against them. You would figure they
133:18would because they are so good at pressure and quick pressure.
133:21>> That is interesting.
133:24Uh it could be that they're just like leaving the guy in because they blitz a lot.
133:28>> That's what I was thinking. Like is it just are guys staying in more to to protect? Is that the problem? But like
133:33they don't give up catches to running backs.
133:36>> That is very interesting. The the Falcons I noticed when when uh because I was trying to figure out what's going
133:42with Bruce Hall not running routes against them and he he pass blocked a ton.
133:46>> One one who blitz a bunch.
133:49>> One running back has more than three catches in a game against them. It was on Marian Hampton in week three. Every
133:54No one else has they've not had more than three catches to any other running back in a game.
133:59>> Damn.
134:01All right. Um >> yeah, just weird, man. But I don't know what it is, but >> but I I'm out on the Packers offense
134:08this week. I mean, maybe they surprised me. I'm surprised they're favored in this game because the Broncos are so good at home. They've won 11 straight
134:15home games. They're only team undefeated at home. Feels kind of disrespectful for them to be road dogs. It should it should be disrespectful. Broncos are
134:23fraudulent. Let's >> That's fair. That is fair. So maybe that's what it is >> cuz it's like Yeah, they've won like and
134:28by how many points have they won and who are they playing?
134:31>> It's all fourth quarter stuff. Yeah.
134:32>> Yeah. It's like the Broncos, >> we can't trust Bo Knicks and even in favorable spots lately. So this was not
134:38a spot we're going to trust him either.
134:41>> Bicks ranks quarterback 37 in success rate, one spot ahead of Joe Flacco. Uh he's quarterback 16 in EPA per game,
134:48just above Lamar Jackson. He is like a massive negative aggression candidate.
134:53Uh success rate more sticky of those metrics. And then you've got the Broncos.
135:00They rank ninth in point differential just behind the the 8- win Texans, just ahead of the six- win Chiefs. Uh and of
135:07course they are 11-2. I'm sure you've seen various graphics about, you know, their close wins and >> Yeah. Yeah.
135:12>> winning from behind and all this stuff.
135:14So, they're they're a negative aggression team with a negative aggression quarterback going against a defense that has not been as good as as
135:21maybe we were hoping, but is still pretty good and generates pressure without blitzing. I think that's that's very important against a really good
135:30Broncos offensive line. So, I'm I'm not any more excited about the the Packers offense than you are, but I am pretty
135:38concerned about Bo Knicks facing the Packers here.
135:41>> Yeah, I would be too though. I am also concerned about those things.
135:45>> Yeah. The the other thing about the Broncos, this is this is the thing I'm most interested about this game is
135:55will Shawn Payeyton actually attack on the ground? Will he get aggressive against a Packers defense that is a pretty big run funnel? Teams have a
136:03minus 6% proe against the Packers and are shifting 4% to the run from their typical proe. So, uh, if you look at,
136:13uh, you know, the biggest run funnels in the league, uh, only the Bills have a lower pass rate are expected against
136:18them than the Packers. So, they're meaningfully shifting, uh, what opponents are doing, but the Broncos have been, you know, pretty consistently
136:27pass first this year. And we've talked about in, you know, in the past about how losing JK Dobbins lost a really
136:34consistent element of their offense.
136:37R.J. Harvey had a 70% success rate last week. Um, which is, you know, a really positive sign for maybe they can get
136:45back to what they wanted to be before when they had Dobbins. That would be >> if there's like something that I'm
136:50hoping surprises us in a in a really fun way, it would be >> the Broncos lean on RJ Harvey here and
136:57it works.
137:00>> Yeah, that's what we need to have happen. I think this we needed we need proof. We talked about last week with Harvey while we
137:08were down on him, we thought the spot at least gave them Broncos a chance to like kind of throw him to the wolves so to
137:13speak. Just like make him have to rush the ball a lot last week >> and they did that and he was good and he
137:18was good with it and he and it it so it like you feel really good about it. Wild RJ Harvey sat he has the most RB1
137:25scoring weeks now out of all rookie running backs.
137:28>> Interesting.
137:29>> Which is kind of crazy to think about, but maybe that says more about the other guys than him or how it's worked out.
137:33But he he now has his fifth RB1 scoring week. He's finding ways to get there which you like.
137:38>> Gaboo would be the guy if he had stayed healthy, man.
137:40>> Yeah, I think so. Um, but now I want to see them prove it against a better team.
137:45And so like you you showed me that you can do it. Now show me that you can punch up and do it or else or is it just
137:52going to be a thing like we only can believe it in these spots. So >> Right. Right. Because if you're betting
137:58on one of these teams to punch up, it's it's uh >> it's the Packers. The Packers punch up.
138:03>> Even being down, >> never punch down.
138:05>> Even being kind of like going through all the things I said like Yes.
138:08Absolutely.
138:09>> Yeah. The Broncos, I don't know if they punch up.
138:13>> They just sort of punch even >> in the middle. They punch punch directly.
138:19>> No, the Broncos want this game to be 16 to 13 going in the fourth quarter or maybe the whole game. I don't know. Like
138:28that's that's what they want. Listen, the Packers couldn't want that anymore.
138:34That that you guys could not be a better fit for one another. You guys would be so happy in the fourth quarter.
138:40>> But there's no one here that outside of Harvey you're playing. Uh you might throw Sutton out with uh But I actually
138:47I actually think the Pat Bryan injury hurts Sutton. So Sutton had been getting targets.
138:52>> It does.
138:53>> He had been getting targets because Troy Franklin earned more targets than Pat Bryant. Yeah, Franklin's better than Sutton.
139:00>> But they took S they took Franklin off the field to play Bryant.
139:04>> Yeah.
139:05>> Now that >> So now that Bryant's out, Now that Bryant's out, >> you don't feel as good about Sutton anymore.
139:11>> No, you don't. You honestly don't.
139:13>> Which is wild because cuz they had benched the dude.
139:16>> They benched him and he's better than you. The problem is >> was earning more targets. Yeah, it's >> they have the same target share on the
139:24season and he was playing as a backup.
139:27He was a backup starter backup Franklin and now has the same target share to this point as Sutton. Sutton start because Franklin got benched for other
139:38things. But the thing is he gets open.
139:40>> So he gets the ball thrown to him because he gets open.
139:43>> He then Bonix either doesn't throw it accurately to him. He either drops it or then fumbles said play after catching.
139:52>> Yeah. Yeah. Well, let's not talk about the fumbles and stuff. Uh the point is that he gets open.
139:57>> Yeah. The point is but the but when they when they removed Troy Franklin from the field, Courtland Sutton's target share
140:03went up.
140:04>> Yeah. I mean, and also like Franklin's not been great. Like he's got 1.38 yards per hour run, but Sutton's at 1.63. So,
140:13you know, it's not like he's been some, you know, >> correct, >> just a, you know, the perfect example of efficiency. Um, shining example is I
140:25think what I was going for. Uh, the >> uh, Evan Ingram I think also gets hurt by Franklin coming back because he it
140:33just it was nice to have Pat Bryant on the field for these other guys because Pat Bryant was uh, >> not getting targeted. 14% targets per
140:41out run compared to 22% for for Franklin. That's that's nice if you happen to play alongside Pat Bryant.
140:48>> Correct.
140:50Um, all right. Let's move on to the Lions at the Rams. And Rich, let's start with the
140:59Rams. I would Would you say they're rolling right now?
141:03>> They've been rolling.
141:05>> I might even go so far as to say the Rams, they're a wagon.
141:09>> This is our wagon, baby. The wagon of the week.
141:11>> The team's just rolling right now. This team is just, they're wagon.
141:15>> They are [ __ ] wagon. We're going to have a nice old picnic. Load that wagon up like we're whatever you need to put
141:21in that wagon.
141:22>> Their wagon.
141:22>> Yeah, this is our wagon of the week, baby.
141:25>> What does wagon mean?
141:29>> I still love it.
141:30>> In in the spirit of what does it mean?
141:33We talked about if because the Rams were the wagon of the week last week if we should mix it up. But I think they kind
141:40of have to be the wagon. If the wagon is your wagon of the week and then continues rolling, it should be your
141:45wagon of the week. I mean, a wagon rolls forward, right?
141:48>> Yeah. I think that's what we that's what we settled on. Yeah.
141:51>> Someone's got to take it's almost like a belt. It's almost like the uh you know, the heavyweight champion of the world,
141:56you know, >> right?
141:57>> The Rams still have the wagon belt. So, >> uh so they are the wagon of the week. Um this has a 55 point total this game. So,
142:06this, you know, there's gonna be a lot of >> it's indoors, but we'll talk about the Lions side of this where I actually have
142:13some questions. I do not have questions on the Rams side. I think one they're going to put up points and two I think
142:21it comes primarily through the passing game. Uh what are your thoughts on the Rams?
142:27>> 100%. We saw Shawn McVey last week uh bring out bring back the 13 personnel and it made total sense against the
142:35Cardinals team that's been banged up in the front seven. They also play like a ton of like quarters cover four like hey
142:40if you want to do that we're just going to come out in heavy personnel. come stop us. And they used uh their highest
142:46rate of 13 personnel, their highest rate on pass plays, but I believe that's gonna oscillate and because where are the Lions beat up on the back end?
142:56>> Brian Brian Branch out for the year.
142:58Kirby Joseph, they were hope he was going to come back and he's not. He had a setback.
143:02>> He had a setback. Terren Arnold's we know is out is on IR. Like you want to be throwing on the Detroit Lions. They
143:10also are getting 22 Atwell back which can let them play more 11. Um the Lions have allowed the most >> Oh yeah. Yeah. And the Lions allowed the
143:19most passing yards over the past five weeks in the NFL. Their 30th yards per pass attempt. They've allowed guys like Jameus Winston to have 30 point games
143:26against them. Mariota had a 19-point game against them. Like they and they're also bad because they're an aggressive defense. They play a lot of man coverage
143:33and they still played a lot of lot of man coverage at their injuries last week even because they're so aggressive.
143:38They're bad against the playa action pass. They're allowing a 9.9 yards per pass attempt against the play action pass. It's 27th. Uh they're also
143:45allowing 12 a league high 12.1 yards per pass attempt over the past five weeks from on plays under center. So like this
143:53is all the stuff Stafford and the Rams have been good at all year. Stafford's also thrown 21 touchdowns and zero interceptions against man coverage. Uh
144:00if they do want to play man coverage. So yeah, I mean they're going to this is and the Lions are good. They should
144:07think about being bad against the run in this game. Like they should they should think about giving up rushing efficiency.
144:13>> What are you, Brandon Staley?
144:14>> Yeah, they should because you know what they're going to do? They're going to stop the run and they're going to get
144:19shredded.
144:21>> Do you remember Sunday night? I think like a month ago, the Rams went >> be bad against the run.
144:27>> They should they should think about it.
144:29You know, we should just let them run for some yards here. Like >> Yeah, >> but uh >> teams can't do that though. That's not
144:34It's against their >> No, no, no. They're mentally just can't.
144:38But do you remember uh the Bucks game on Sunday night? The Shawn McVey went against the Bucks and they had been
144:43playing all that 13 personnel and maybe was like what is the B what are they gonna do against Bucks and you and a
144:47good run defense the Bucks they haven't been as good like but you know what they came out and did they just threw every
144:52damn play in the first half of that game. I think they ran four times in the first half of that game. That's what's
144:57going to happen here.
144:59They had a 14% pass rate of expected uh 10% on first and 10 in that game, which is honestly that's actually not as high
145:06as they've been.
145:07>> And you filter your first half. Can you look at first half of that?
145:10>> Uh I'd have to run. I'd have to do it.
145:13Yeah.
145:14>> Um >> I think in the first half of that game it was a boat race like they were just able to do arm might be able
145:20>> wasn't it 24 to3 or something at halftime? Uh, and then they ran more in the second half because of game script,
145:25but they came out and just they were like, "We're going to throw all over the Bucks because Jamal Dean was out too in
145:32that game." Like they were like I think I think McVey is coming out and attacking.
145:37>> I think so too. We saw them with the Jags. They had a 15% pass rate expected, 11% on first and 10. And that's like a
145:43similar type of of defense where you attack through the air, better run defense than pass defense. Um, and here it's not really about the run defense.
145:52It's about they are down their starting safeties. They they started last week they had Avante Maddox at safety and it it worked out okay. And I was like
146:01looking into the the safety situation for them and it seemed like people were um were kind of like, you know, like oh Maddox might be like a
146:12like an answer for them at safety. But, uh, they're down, uh, Thomas Harper, who's been starting in place of Kirby Joseph. Um, but he suffered a concussion
146:21in week 14. And then, uh, they have they have Maddox, but they still don't have, uh, Joseph. So, if Joseph was back, that
146:29would like have potentially shored things up a bit. Him not being back, I think, really hurts given that they just lost Branch and Harper. Uh, and then
146:38also like, you know, Maddox has been like a a fix for now, but we'll see. And then their cornerbacks, uh, DJ Reid, if
146:45you look at 12 109, uh, qualifying quarterbacks in yards, uh, per coverage snap, DJ Reed is 100th and Ak Robinson is 105th, and both were in full-time
146:57roles against the Cowboys uh, this past week. So, it's it's not just the safeties, it's the cornerbacks.
147:05>> Uh, I the Rams should have really no trouble moving the ball here. Um the the Lions pass rush also not great. 20th in
147:14quick pressure rate. So um you know the Rams have have pass protected reasonably well this this year. And then you look
147:21at Stafford, he's getting the ball out so quickly. And you look at like Puka and Devonte Adams, both those guys can
147:29get open very very quickly and especially if you have issues at outside corner and at safety. So it's just a really good setup for the Rams.
147:39Stafford's in an awesome spot. Puka, I love Puka this week.
147:43>> Um, Devonte Adams obviously a great play as well. Has lots of touchdown equity.
147:47But this is a spot where I think the Rams ideally if you're if you're hoping like you know that the Rams go off here. It's that the
147:57Lions Dan Campbell's calling the plays now. Dan Campbell is wearing glasses and when Dan Campbell wears glasses the Lions play to win,
148:05>> right? This was >> us to win game road dogs. They might not punt. Like the the Lions might go for
148:11like a fourth down on their own 25 in this game.
148:13>> 100%. Yeah. And they're they're going to if they if you put the Lions down 10, they're passing. Like there's no
148:19identity [ __ ] here anymore. John Morton, I think, was just out of his depth. And it's we're back to what Dan
148:26Campbell and the Lions have felt like his entire tenure where it's like they they don't give up. They understand like win probability, you know, like, hey,
148:35we're down and we need to like maximize our possessions and start throwing. We need to take on more risk because we're
148:40in a bad spot and if we don't take on the risk, we're going to lose. So, I'm willing to I'm willing to be embarrassed
148:46in in the pursuit of winning games.
148:49That's that's why I'm a big Dan Campbell fan and I think that's how he's going to play this game. So, that means they're
148:54going to be pushing even if the Rams are scoring points. And I mean that's just a beautiful spot to be in if you're
149:02betting on the Rams passing game and I think specifically helpful if you're betting on Puka to rack up targets. Um and obviously, you know, not to say
149:10anything bad about Damonte Adams here. I think he's he's a really good player and uh his touchdown equity is awesome.
149:15Better than Pukas, better than probably any receivers in the league, right? So >> it is he did match their 20 26 end zone
149:21targets. Now I did find it. So in that Bucks game in the first half, 24 pass plays, five runs.
149:29But they got no push in the first half.
149:31It was 24 passes, five runs, but they got no push. I still expect the Lions to score. So, >> yeah, >> the Rams the Rams are running their
149:40offense through the passing game.
149:41They're they they pass to score points like they they understand uh you know that Stafford and these receivers are the key to what they're doing. Kairen's
149:50been fine. you know, Cororum's been fine, but like >> but they're running a legit committee that they've acknowledged >> that they already said they want to
149:59preserve Kairen for the for the postseason.
150:02>> Yeah, I I would say the Kairen stuff maybe looked a little bit worse in recent weeks than it actually is because
150:07you had um uh what's the third running back? Ronnie Rivers, I think.
150:12>> Yeah.
150:13>> Got like eight carries last week.
150:14Cororm's been in like the exact same role week after week after week, which is not good for Kairen, but it's more
150:21like, you know, Kron is down to 36% of carries last week. That's fake. He's gonna he's going to be like 55 60%. As
150:28long as this game is close. Um which it might not be, as we'll get to in a minute. But >> yeah, um I still think the Lions find a
150:38way to score points, but there are more questions for sure.
150:41>> Yeah. Um, >> before we go to the Lions, just want to get your thoughts on, uh, well, a couple things, but but first, Kobe Parkinson.
150:49Um, >> he had 71% round participation last week. You mentioned the 13 personnel was up, which would which would help there.
150:56But, >> uh, even when it's been up in the past, we haven't seen like one tight end take a big chunk. It's usually just a
151:05rotation no matter what. So, I'm encouraged by this. Now, I don't think that that necessarily holds, but he's peaked previously at 53%.
151:13>> Yeah.
151:13>> If you give me like 60 65% round participation from a Rams tight end, I'm pretty interested in that. They've been
151:19thrown at the tight end so much.
151:21>> Yeah. I mean, his his targets per route are really high. Everything looks good.
151:24It's just the actual routes numbers uh that you need because he's only averaged 31 yards per game. He's been, you know,
151:31living on those touchdowns. And even on the 70% routes, last week only had 32 yards. So, you do need the touchdown
151:38still, I think, from there's just volatility in like anticipating, especially Atwell coming back just what they do.
151:44>> Um, so I don't mind it though if you're, you know, you're adding him on to get a cheaper piece. So, the one thing about
151:50this game is actually building Stafford doubles with Adams and Puka is really hard. It It actually is. And I would say
151:57like you, I want to um prioritize Puka uh because although Adams has the touchdown equity, that's like really all he's had at his price. Like he's not
152:08giving you a lot of uh tournament like spike weeks. Like he even has a game with three touchdowns where only had 26
152:14points. I say only 26, but like it's a three touchdown game at 26 points. Yeah.
152:19>> Yeah. It should be higher, right? Yeah.
152:21Exactly. Exactly. So, I think if I I that's I want to prioritize Puk because one I think the matchup's great for him
152:27because like Puka's been amazing against man coverage if that's what they want to do. First of all, he's just amazing against everything. I don't give a [ __ ]
152:32Uh like so we're going to game where a lot of Puka >> Stop using splits with Puka. He's just awesome.
152:38>> Yeah, exactly. I I felt myself going down like who cares. Like he's just >> If you're gonna get if you're going to
152:42tell me I have a chance to get 15 puka nua targets, I'm in. That's all you I'm sold there.
152:48>> Yeah. So >> 100%. By the way, Puka, this is not a split. This is a zoom out. Do you know
152:53Do you know what his career You want to take any guesses on his career yards per out run?
152:57>> Well, it's gone up every year, so it's got to be I think it's around like 37 this year, so it's probably if we just
153:03do like an average, it's got to be like like 33 to 34 or something like that.
153:07>> It's 3.11.
153:09>> Okay. So, I was even a little I overshot it a little bit, but yeah.
153:12>> Yeah, >> but it's gone up every year, which almost first of all, he was amazing as a rookie. Like, usually you're like, "All
153:17right, like the Brian Thomas thing, like you can't run this hot again." But he just keeps getting better.
153:21>> He keeps getting better.
153:243.11 as a three-year career number is nuts.
153:28>> You're stupid, dude. It's absolutely stupid, >> dude. Is unreal.
153:31>> And like last week when you watched that game, it was everything. He's running a double move on the outside. He's running
153:37a skinny post. He's running a a a corner route. He's running a dig. You're like, it the dude's got it all, man.
153:44>> Yeah, he's incredible. I I think he's going to smash this.
153:48>> He's super fun. He's a super fun guy to root for, too. He's like fun to watch.
153:52>> He's very fun. And he does all the dirty work stuff.
153:55>> Seems Yeah. He's >> Yeah.
153:58>> Yeah. And they played him in the 13 personnel for the first time last week.
154:01It was the first time that he actually played.
154:04>> Good. Good.
154:05>> What a concept. You know, player >> kept looking on the field.
154:10>> But Detroit's been giving up a ton of points to receivers, too. like uh I know that Pickkins had the the the we had our
154:16first like mercurial George Pickins moment last last week, but Lamb and Flora both went over 100. Christian Watson and Devonte Wixs cooked on
154:24Thanksgiving. The week before that, Wandell went for 156 and a touchdown.
154:28Like I feel like we could if we get the game environment you would want. I I mean I think Cukun could put up a stupid
154:35number in this game.
154:36>> Me too.
154:38Yeah. No, me too. So, >> I would on DraftKings, I think he would be the player I would prioritize the most in lineups.
154:45>> I agree. He's the one that I'm I'm most excited about kind of from a floor and ceiling. I know like from tournaments,
154:52we're not thinking about floor so much, but like Puka at 8700, you know, like you do worry a little bit with like you get you could kind of
155:00everything right.
155:02>> And well, I know what I'm saying is like with the I feel like I do have floor this week with him even if
155:09I obviously you don't want like 21 points for 8700, but >> you do have >> Sorry.
155:15>> Right. Oh, no. He's 97 on FanDuel. My bad.
155:17>> No, he's 87. He's 87. Yeah.
155:19>> Yeah, he's 97 on FanDuel.
155:22>> But the him just like leaving a hole in your lineup in this setup is I think just very unlikely. So you get you get
155:31and you get all the ceiling that you get from other guys like but you know if someone like Chase >> Chase could flop here I think far more
155:38easily than Puka where you get the targets but they don't connect and it's just like uh it's kind of a bummer of a
155:44game. I I know that can happen. I recognize it's possible but man there's just a lot of outcomes I think here for
155:51Nua that are pretty good even if they even if he doesn't smash. And I think he smashes like a pretty good amount of the
155:57time. Uh Lion Side, I am a little nervous about Goff here. Um you want to talk about a guy where we can kind of
156:09predict what's going to happen based on the matchup. Uh he's not when you pressure golf, it's a problem. Sometimes it's based around the
156:20blitz. He he got got a little bit by the Vikings, definitely by the Bucks. Um and the Rams don't really blitz, but um he
156:30also had a horrible game against the Eagles and against the Browns. Um that's more driven by pass rush and he was
156:37terrible against the Packers who don't really blitz that much and have a good pass rush. So, uh, I don't know. Being
156:45able to get pressure with the front four against Jared Goff seems like, you know, kind of a a scary situation. Um, and
156:52he's been super boom bust this year.
156:54Like, >> yeah, >> elite efficiency and like, oh my god, get this guy off the field type of efficiency. Um, you know, and then and
157:03then in this Eagles game, even Amarok couldn't get there. So, you know, he's been so consistent this year. So, I do
157:08worry about uh about golf in this spot potentially melting down and that being one of the ways that even the Rams side
157:16could fail, at least compared, you know, fail at their prices. Um, but I I believe in Dan Campbell that that, you know, he's going to kind of
157:25pass through a bad Jared Goff performance. But it it's a it's something I'm thinking about like, okay, this there's 55 points, but how many of
157:34them are actually from the Lions? um if Goff doesn't have it and I think there's in some outcomes he just doesn't have it
157:40here.
157:41>> Yeah, they were rotating left guards on Thursday uh in and out. The duo was really bad too. Both uh Tristan Coen and
157:48the Miles Frasier, they allowed they combined for seven pressures and four hits. The rest of the line allowed five five pressures in one hit. So that's
157:54still a problem spot. You know, interior pass rush here could be a problem. I am more open to the volatility in this spot
158:03because of the what you said like we what the lead in is that I believe they're going to just be forced to throw
158:09so much in this game that I'm open to doing golf like builds with golf too uh as well. I'm more bullish on the wagon,
158:18but uh I do believe that with the Lions being six-point road dogs and a game they have to win and are probably going
158:23to have to score points that we just might get enough volume with enough good players on the field for him to get
158:29through. And we've seen guys like uh M.
158:31Jones have good games against the the Rams from a fantasy stance. Uh Bryce Young a couple weeks ago set like that's
158:39that's it. Yeah, it's really it.
158:41>> That's it. It's M. Jones did it twice.
158:43>> Yep. and and Bryce Young and Bryce Young had a 29th percentile success rate and was just really efficient.
158:48>> Yeah, he had two fourth down touchdown passes.
158:51>> Yeah.
158:51>> Um well, yeah, big plays that the those were like huge swings.
158:56>> Yeah. So, and it's been rough. Like opposing quarterbacks have really struggled against the Rams this year outside.
159:01>> It's definitely more of I think he's definitely more of a volatile play. Um I think the I'm more open to taking golf
159:09on because you could stack him easier in terms of salary >> and then get a Ram back like so if you
159:16try to run Stafford doubles and bring a line back it's almost impossible like you basically have to do Stafford Nua and a Lion instead of Adams
159:23>> where you can do golf Jameson Almanra and get >> I think you almost have to pick Adams or Nua like who has the tournament winning
159:30score of those two.
159:31>> Yeah.
159:31>> And both are very viable but I I think you want to pick one. Yeah, >> the double is so expensive.
159:37>> It's so expensive. You can Jameson being 61 at least lets you run golf doubles.
159:42And if you have like a 50 pass attempt game from golf, you might that might get you there. The wild card is that you
159:48still have to like what how are you approaching Gibbs in that scenario who also has pretty wide range of outcomes I
159:56think in this in this matchup but could also catch 10 passes like >> Yeah. Well, that's the thing like do you
160:02have the double? Like I isn't Williams the the Parkinson Gibbs.
160:07>> He could be.
160:08>> Gibbs is the pook of the Adams, I think.
160:11You know, >> but the Rams Rams Rams are so awesome against running backs, too. That's the other wild card. Like, you know, they're
160:18they're second in points odd per touch to running backs. Uh they also uh don't give a ton of receiving stuff to do to
160:25running backs. They're they're only allowing 8.8 rushing points per game.
160:28So, like you might need explosives from Gibbs who can get there. I'll say the one comparison though you think you can
160:33make for Gibbs against the Rams is the CMC games.
160:36>> Yeah. Well, that that's what I I I I don't care like Oh, >> wow. You really limited Woody Marks.
160:42Tony Pard struggled against you.
160:44>> Yeah.
160:44>> I I don't care. It's Jir Gibbs. Um CMC would be the only analog.
160:50>> Yeah. And he had eight catches both games, but they did he had nothing rushing either game >> in the in those. So that's what like so
160:58and Gibbs is still on that uh thing with CMC like you got to find the marriage.
161:02It can't just be one. You can't build the whole game out of receiving and you you know you want the you want it all to
161:07come together. And is this a game where it's one of it's one comes you get one side of the coin and not both.
161:14>> Yeah. Because the Rams do have a good run defense too. So it's it's not just the pass defense. They're they're really
161:19strong. And if we just get a script like you said where like they are throwing 50 times >> you think it's pretty likely.
161:28>> I I think like I really trust the Rams to attack intelligently here. I know crazy crazy take. Sean McVey puts
161:34together a smart game plan. But like this is the Rams have like clear or sorry the the Lions have like clear
161:41obvious defenses on clear obvious weaknesses on defense that the Rams have like all the right pieces to attack.
161:49>> Yes.
161:50>> So it's like man you just how do they not get this right? You know this is a layup for McVey and then that puts the
161:58the Lions in negative game script so easily. And then like you said, like they'll they'll go for uh fourth downs and and play to win this game, but like
162:08that is a more volatile strategy. It's a smart strategy if you're an underdog.
162:12You got to take on volatility to get the win. But like then that can snowball against the Lions and all of a sudden
162:17they don't get that fourth down and the Rams score again and now like so Gibbs, I mean he's an incredible player, but
162:24like the range of outcomes really is wide here >> and it includes big time ceiling outcomes. Uh oh yeah that good but
162:31>> yeah absolutely >> I don't know I guess the floor is not like super low because of the receiving stuff with him but it is it's dis his
162:40ability to disappoint you is pretty high here I would say >> well at the well at this salary at the expectation um you know we we had the
162:47>> uh game two weeks ago where especially because you're talking about if you talk about the golf meltdown like the Eagles
162:52game right like you know that's where he was still solid but 3.2 2 yards per carry, got there through the receiving
162:58got you just under 20 PPR points. That's not going to get it done on the slate uh at this cost. And then, you know, the
163:05Thanksgiving game he was, >> you know, he didn't catch the ball. The only game he didn't catch.
163:09>> That was so weird, man.
163:10>> It was weird. It was weird.
163:11>> I thought I had in my head the exact game plan for the for the Cowboys game on Thanksgiving. Like, I was like sure
163:20we were going to see that. And then when we didn't see it, uh, Sacrilegious was like messaging me about showdown stuff, like, "What do you
163:27think they do?" I was like, "I I think what I thought on Thanksgiving, but it didn't happen." So, like, I don't know.
163:32Like, it's so strange. And then they did have >> So, I don't know. But >> he's getting used in bulk since Campbell
163:39took over play calling like Christian McCaffrey as a receiver. Uh, I mean, he's literally the RB2 and target share, RB1 and target rate per out run. It's
163:47everything's gone massive.
163:48>> First stuff is way up.
163:51I think his I think it went from a five to 20%. His first return rate I believe went from 5% to 20% from Morton to
163:58Campbell.
163:59>> Yeah.
164:00>> Uh I'll double check that. But >> he has his past seven games his past seven games he has three his four games
164:08with over 35 fantasy points.
164:11>> Yeah. And that's that's the correct numbers. First ret target rate from up from 5% to 20% which is like total
164:19afterthought. It's Christian but a younger more explosive player >> on like >> Yeah, it's it's crazy.
164:28>> Then that's why we seen though Spike Weeks, man. So like he's a guy that's absolutely outright terrifying to fade.
164:34Like >> 100% agree.
164:36>> Like outright terrifying.
164:38>> But I don't think he's a priority either.
164:40>> Yeah, because he does have a wider range of outcomes here. Especially if we believe like this game is like a 50
164:46dropback game. like he can easily catch still 10 12 passes. Um, >> yeah. Like, but you know, I've se there was projections for Gibbs heading into
164:56the Cowboys games. It was just like massive, massive and too low.
165:02>> Not too low cuz project, you know, but you know, they were they missed low. Um, of course, but like >> but on the touchdown side, like when you
165:12look at that game against Cowboys, like the total yardage was 120 total yards was like that's okay. But like he had he
165:20had three touchdowns and seven passes like so, right?
165:24>> Uh, but even since Campbell took over, like he's had like total yardage games that have just been >> just in the okay range, but then he's
165:32had the some massive massive ones.
165:35Yeah, Gibbs is in this in the right now he's like either he he ranges from like elite play to like Uber Jam and he's
165:43just he's at he's at elite play is what I think they're kind of saying right now. Well, I think that yeah, you is he
165:50an RB1 or the RB1?
165:53>> And he's and honestly, but I don't even know if that's true because he's he's kind of like McCaffrey where they're
165:59sort of like flipping where like they're going to be the RB1 now, but is he like the you got to play him because he's the
166:06RB1 or like yeah, he's the RB1.
166:08>> And I think it's it's more like yeah, sure he's the RB1 like he always is.
166:12>> It's like I think he's reached that level. um kind of in tandem with McCaffrey, but a little bit less exciting. It's
166:21just more of a fragile setup than usual.
166:23>> Yeah, it's just like you said, it's a it's more of a a volatile environment, I think, for the Lions in general.
166:29>> Are you So, are you looking at Almanra is kind of the most uh like if you're doing golf stuff, he
166:37comes he's definitely in there and then you're trying to figure out Gibbs versus uh well, maybe I shouldn't say golf stuff, but Lion stuff. Are you like
166:44>> Yeah. How are you kind of ranking the lines?
166:46>> Yeah, Alman Ra would still be priority one for me um if I can because you know he's a guy that just can win if you're
166:53talking about like in every capacity inside outside came back I just I couldn't even believe he played last week be honest.
166:59>> Me neither.
166:59>> And was and both hurt and awesome >> but had that little you know had the little mini by now uh since that last
167:07game. we expect him to be if he listen if he played >> what 97% or whatever the routes like he's going to play here.
167:15>> Um and and you have all still all that red zone equity with him. Uh 41% of the team endzone targets 39% of the red zone
167:22targets.
167:23>> So we like all that. Jameson's definitely volatile here too as well because remember we're still what only two weeks removed from a zero target g
167:31or zero catch game. Like >> he's been awesome in the other four games though. It's like >> yeah incredible. And he's at 6,100
167:37though. Like I'm gonna play him.
167:39>> Yeah. No, I think honestly he he's a pretty because he's the cheap piece in this game. So I he is
167:45>> I'm I'm intrigued by Williams for sure.
167:47>> I I mean it's just comes down to salary, right? Like cuz you can play Williams with another really good receiver.
167:53Whereas, you know, if you do play Almanra, like you still have to forego jamming in someone else along the way, >> you know? So, right. I mean, because
168:02he's still 79, it's not free.
168:06Also, like this this is a game like Jameson Williams is throwing a pass in this game. They're going back to it.
168:11They're gonna >> they're gonna do something though for sure.
168:14>> Something weird's happening.
168:15>> Yeah. What's the odds they run a fake punt in this game?
168:18>> Oh, I mean like fake play line should be like two and a half. I think.
168:26Um All right, let's go to the next game.
168:30Here is the Panthers at Saints.
168:34um uh a lot less fun. We went from the most fun game of the slate to the Panthers at Saints and uh kind of feel the energy
168:42draining out of the room right now. But yeah, >> uh the Panthers, man, not too uh difficult to figure out how they're
168:51going to attack a Saints runfunnel defense. Opponents have a 53% pass rate against the Saints. Uh tied with the Vikings for the lowest in the league.
169:00Minus 5% proe against them. 3% shift to the run. And the Panthers, last time we saw them, had a 39% pass rate, their
169:08lowest of the season, but they got an upset win over the Rams. So, you know, that they were happy with that. Um, we
169:14saw Chuba Hubard get way more work um than he had been getting, but Dowel still did lead the team in carries. Um,
169:22he's just not the total workhorse runner, and Hubard's been kind of their third down guy now. So, it's going to be
169:27a bit of a split. I think Dow's still ahead. And they've actually mentioned that, you know, Canal has said he's he's
169:33still the guy, but um >> is terrible in pass protection, which is why the door got opened again.
169:41>> Um but yeah, they're going to they're going to throw a ton or sorry, they're going to run a ton and hope to be
169:47efficient in the passing game off of that. Uh Tero McMillan, I think, is kind of interesting here as like an efficiency play, but more for seasonl
169:55long stuff. Mhm.
169:57>> And then the backfield split makes it a lot harder. Uh I think Rico Dowel kind of lowend RB2 type of type of deal for
170:05um for a season long. But there's not a lot. First of all, this is not a complicated game to figure out and
170:13there's not a ton to talk about. Like if I think you're starting McMillan and you're starting probably starting Dowel, but maybe not 100% depending on your
170:21other options. Yeah, you might have like a Trayvon Henderson or something that you might just say like if it's going to
170:25be a split, I might go for the upside or something like that.
170:27>> Sure.
170:28>> But yeah, pro probably that. Yeah, that's exactly how I see it, too. So, >> we that's one we can move on.
170:35>> We just don't have to eat the clock, man, on that.
170:37>> Yeah. Yeah. All right. Uh, see, this is what I'm talking about with the with the Cardinals game. Do you see how the clock
170:43just stopped and now the the ball back?
170:46It's gonna be like that. Uh, Saint Tyler Shuck had his most efficient game of the season. Um, or sorry, most consistent
170:54game of the season, 60% success rate, uh, 60th percentile success rate. Uh, 65th percentile EPA per play, which is the second highest mark. But this was
171:02part of a runheavy game plan where they had a 47% pass rate and they were using him uh, you know, as a secondary option,
171:09getting efficiency off of that. Panthers are bad against the run. They're going to be runheavy against the Saints. Um I think we probably see a similar type of
171:19approach here. Uh where they're like trying to hide the passing game a little bit and then use it to create plays
171:25downfield which now has Chris Olive as uh the high A dot receiver. His his A dots uh since their buy actually since
171:34week 10 when they lost Shahed 18.4 11.8 14.8 17.8 eight. Early in the season, he was like in the sevens and eights uh
171:44four for four of the first five weeks.
171:46So, this is a role change for Ave that I think is related to Shahed being gone.
171:51Um and you know, makes sense for the offense. He's he's good downfield. We've seen him in this type of role before,
171:56but it's it's creating a much more boom bust setup for Olive and then you look at probably pretty overall low play
172:03volume in this game. So, um he's another guy where it's like more seasonl long. I have a little bit more faith in Olave
172:08from season long perspective um than maybe some others because I think he's he's almost the reverse Christian Watson. We're like we haven't seen how
172:16fun this could be with the deep targets.
172:19>> Maybe it gets a little >> I think the spot's good for him too if they just you know when they do throw
172:24>> when they do throw and he's 6200 in DFS so I don't think there's much interest there.
172:30>> No. Um Shuck is if the game is just better than we think. Shuck is kind of interesting because they've he's got 12
172:36designed runs now the past three weeks like >> and so they're doing a little bit more >> fast out there. He looked amazing on
172:42that one that >> that those that old man speed, you know, >> and the other thing too is that uh he's
172:48another one of these guys where at least early on right at this point of his career, uh teams that don't create
172:52pressure, I am looking at him at least for like if you're a QB2 or like you're looking to punt maybe, probably not the
172:59slate, but uh if you're in your two QB leagues and stuff like so Carolina, you know, obviously their uh last NFL
173:06pressure rate when they didn't pressure him in the first matchup, he was 14 of 19 passing in that game for 9.6 yards
173:12per pass attempt. So, I think there's some efficiency angles for him. You just do need probably a little bit coaxing for volume in this game. Uh he has uh
173:21targeted a lav uh at a at a super high rate against single high and cover three stuff. So, that's all Carolina runs. Uh
173:29their third highest in cover three. Uh so, uh Ave uh in that first game he had against just cover three snaps had four
173:37catches for 99 yards in that game. He had 46% target rate on those on those snaps. And Carolina has been bad against
173:43wide receiver ones in general. So, I'm a little more bullish on a Lave from definitely probably a seasonl long snaps. I He's just in a price range
173:50where we're probably not we're just not going to be shopping and I think a lot of builds just aren't going to be in
173:55that range. Like I'd rather play Nico Collins and go up to Nico Collins or go down to Jameson Williams.
174:01>> Uh, >> agreed. Although I could see Ob scoring the most of those three pretty pretty easily.
174:06>> Yeah, he could. Yeah. Yeah. It's just like a lot of times he completely fails and >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
174:14>> You know, it's more it's more like >> kind of high too.
174:19>> No, I'm really not. Um, so the the one guy for DFS that's like maybe a tad bit interesting is Deon Neil because I I
174:29think he'll get plenty of work >> and he's 5,300 and he that is a range where you know if we had a good $5,300
174:37running back that's that's intriguing.
174:39Uh what are your thoughts on him?
174:40>> Last time these teams played they ran season high 32 times. So you know they didn't it's it's just been in the game
174:47state to hang around. Also, like this is we talk about the Patriots, too. Like, we haven't seen the Panthers like this
174:52is a big game for the Panthers.
174:54>> Yeah. Like, how are they going to respond, right? Like, how are they going to handle this?
174:59>> Uh, are are they going to come out tight? Are they like how we >> Yes. Yes.
175:06>> So, yeah, it's going to be interesting to see.
175:07>> I know how they're anytime there's like something on the line, they're just going to they're going to run.
175:11>> They're just going to try to run.
175:12They're going to try to run.
175:13>> They're going to try to hide Bryce Young as much as possible.
175:15>> Yeah. So, I mean, this game's tight.
175:18Saints will be in a position to run the ball. Uh Panthers have been a far cry from where they were earlier uh the year
175:23against the run. Uh they've been really bad over the past six games. 29th in yards per carry, 27th in explosive run
175:29rate allowed. You're not really playing Neil for that. You're literally just starting at the You're just like I this dude's going to be out there a lot. Like
175:36>> yeah, >> hope hope it works out. Hope hopefully we get some stuff.
175:40>> Do you want to close with the Titans at 49ers or the Colts at Seahawks?
175:45>> Either way, it's up to you. It's just when do you want to get this conversation out of the way?
175:49>> I think we should close with the Philip Rivers conversation. So, let's uh let's do Titans at 49ers. Um >> should be relatively easy here, too.
175:59>> Should be Yeah, Cam Ward's coming off another I mean, they won they won against the Browns, but he was 12th
176:05percentile in EPA per play and sixth percentile in success rate. The the run game won them that game. um his in terms
176:14of EPA per per game and success rate.
176:17Here's Ward. Here's JJ McCarthy. It's it's kind of the same. So, it's been bad. It's been bad. I don't have a ton
176:26of confidence in the Titans in any situation. The 49ers defense has not been good and they've lost, you know,
176:34Fred Warner and Nick Bosa. Um so, it it's you're not going to recover from that. But they honestly haven't been so
176:43bad recently. Um, >> they've been they've been fine against these streamers, too. Like the bad >> the streamers have not been getting
176:48there.
176:49>> The good guys have torched them.
176:51>> Yes.
176:51>> But the streamers haven't.
176:53>> So this is Stafford, uh, 97th percentile, and then down to Brassette, and then down to Young, and then down to
176:59Sanders. The the most recent four bars here on the on the chart.
177:03>> And Pennix was after the Warner injury, too. That's the game after. And he didn't do anything.
177:07>> Yeah. Yeah. So, I don't have a ton of uh hope for the Titans passing game. Um, and even if you did, what what would you
177:18do with that hope? Right.
177:20>> There's no place to put it like Gunnar Helm looked like maybe he was taking over tight end, but then Chica Conqua
177:25was back to 70% round participation and Helm fell to 40%. So, I don't the tight I I don't want to play a Conqu. I'd
177:32rather play Helm, but he's not playing enough. Um, I Manor and DK are both I mean it's literally been since week nine
177:40we've seen one of them hit 1.5 plus yards per hour in a single game. Um, it was Iron Man or back against the the
177:47Chargers. So, I don't know. There's I mean Pard that was cool. Set career highs in in uh set a career high in
177:54rushing yards. That was fun. Yeah, I have a little lukewarm interest in DK, but I don't know how far that goes just
178:01because the 49ers been so bad against slot receivers and you know, maybe that's the outright. Uh >> he can get you an explosive once in a
178:09while, but that's it. That's like I said, mild mild. Uh they're 31st in uh yards for target to slot receivers, 28th
178:15in touchdown rate. 45% of their receptions uh to wide receivers are from the slot. That's the second highest rate in the league. But it still starts the
178:23quarterback.
178:25Yeah, they should be a negative game script and they've generally been very pass heavy in negative game script this year. Last week they were very
178:33conservative, but that's generally how people play the Browns and uh we're seeing them uh they have seven they have seven different games with a 70% plus
178:44pass rate. We're probably looking at eight this week. So that's your one saving grace a little bit. If you were going to do like a DK PPR slot play, I
178:54think that would give you a little bit more confidence in something like that.
178:57Uh 49ers, they have a 28.5 implied team total wagon of the week consideration. I mean, this is they could roll here.
179:06>> If you're trailing points going into the late slate, you got to pivot to 49ers passing game, I think.
179:13>> Oh, no. So, you're coming off of your beautiful Ram stacks, your beautiful Lion stuff. But if you're trailing like Harry know we just talked about this
179:21with Dan Campbell that we got to be Dan Campbell too. We can't you know.
179:24>> Yeah. We got >> we got to go for it.
179:26>> Gotta go for it.
179:27>> We got to run.
179:28>> If you played Commanders if you played Commanders Giants at one and they stunk.
179:32>> Oh yeah.
179:33>> You gota you got to go Niners pass the game. I think >> it's your fault for playing CFKA pieces.
179:38You know if you want to play CFKA you got you got to pivot off the Rams.
179:41That's how it goes.
179:44>> Watch the Giants get there now. Um, >> yeah. I mean, the the Titans have a a very bad defense overall. Um,
179:54>> but they're turning into a pass funnel, >> but they're turning into a pass funnel because they they have the eighth best
179:58success rate against the run and they're 26th against the pass. And so the the kind of the consistent and I think this
180:06is a, you know, NFL coaches like to consistently move the ball, right?
180:09That's that's one of the things they the big they talk about the explosives, but what really warms their heart is just
180:15seeing those chains move. So the there you you can pass on the Titans and it moves the chains and I think the uh the
180:2349ers are going to be able to do that pretty effectively here. Perie has not been great in any games this year, but
180:29he hasn't been terrible either. Uh efficiencyy's never been worse than 47th percentile, never better than 88th, but that 88th mark was against the Seahawks.
180:38I I kind of feel like pretty he could he's kind of due for one for like a really really efficient game and I think
180:45this could be it. So if you maybe if you pivot to 49er stuff it ends up being good. I I think KD is potentially a
180:51smash here. I really I really like him DFS. It's not it's not a week where it's easy to fit an expensive tight end but
180:58KD looks like a potential smash.
181:02>> Yeah. Since week nine, the Titans are allowing 3.3 yards per carry to running backs. number one in the NFL. They're
181:09only allowing 63.2 rushing yards per game to running backs over at second.
181:13Now, keep in context, they're never winning.
181:18>> Like, you know, it's like because the Saints are like have pretty decent metrics.
181:21>> Even against the Cardinals, they weren't winning. They they needed some crazy to happen to >> Yeah. But like, think about like the
181:27Saints like who are like they have some decent metrics against the run, but they just face so many runs it doesn't matter
181:31that they give up points, >> right? The Titans right now are not giving up any points to running backs at all. Even though they suck as a real
181:39team, they haven't allowed a RB-1 score since week eight.
181:43But guess what they have done over that span? They've allowed QB1 score every game.
181:50>> Every game. Shador Sanders just scored 33 points against these guys. Uh Davis Mills had a QB1 game against them. Uh
181:58Justin Herbert in a game where Joel Al got hurt had 30 fantasy points against them like like this this they've this is
182:06another team they should think about being worse against the run. They should really think cuz remember they've lost all their quarterbacks.
182:10>> We need to start a consulting service.
182:12Let's just go around and our friends >> let them run on you. Just let them run on you.
182:16>> Stop the run.
182:17>> Yeah.
182:18>> You're not good.
182:18>> Let them run on you man. You're not good at like because you're forcing teams to throw. Remember they lost all their
182:23quarterbacks. Legerious out. They traded McCreary. They traded another guy early in the year. Um, this is a spot where I think Pertie gets real on track with
182:30efficiency and especially downfield passing. Brock Pury this season on throws 10 or more yards downfield, one touchdown, seven interceptions.
182:40>> Titans uh on those throws though, 31st in completion rate. Uh, dead last in yards or pass attempt, 29th in touchdown
182:46rate. They are getting cooked by wide receivers because of the stuff we talked about. like they're getting absolutely flooded >> and these these 49ers wide receivers
182:58we're looking at 5200 for Jennings Paw is still 5100. It feels like he should be like >> it's a bummer we talking he should be
183:04priced where Darius Sllayton is.
183:06>> Yeah. And if he was I would jam him. I would be very excited.
183:10>> I still might play him but I don't know if that >> I could play him. I could He's a deep
183:15threat. He you know he's doing >> because he's gonna have he's going to have another game where he's at least good. But he's running. He's running a
183:22lot of routes.
183:23>> He's down there.
183:24>> He's actually doing stuff. I don't mean getting targeted or catching.
183:27>> Cardio cardio king available down there though.
183:31>> But if you would say like >> he's probably going to at least run into something at some point this season.
183:36Like this would be the identifiable spot. This is also the problem with DFS that Sites has is that they're too slow
183:43to price guys up >> and they don't price them down >> and they don't price guys down once they get up.
183:48The here's the other thing with Pearl like so his profile started pretty pretty intriguing. 3.09 yards per out run 1.40 2.79 1.84 gets hurt comes back
183:59three bad games in a row and he's not getting targeted.
184:02>> The problem cuz he played with no when he had those good games. No one no one was on the field.
184:07>> Right. Right. But also he he does get targeted downfield. He runs you know when he was getting targeted he's get
184:14you know he's a a true deep threat. So, we know, you know, that's kind of more his role. Um, and that's not really like
184:20Jennings role so much. So, it makes sense that if he's in a deeper uh target role >> that he would be more volatile and even
184:29if he he's not going to be like amazing, I don't think, but even if he's a pretty solid wide receiver, we might see a
184:34stretch like this, especially ramping back up from injury. So, >> it's definitely it's like a play it before you see it post injury thing.
184:40But, and at 5100, I'm probably not going to do it to be honest. It's not great.
184:45>> I've considered I definitely think Piol is like a better play than you would think in this spot.
184:52>> Correct. Yeah. I mean, I would rather do Pertie Jennings KD, but I was just toying with the idea of like in like
184:58large field if I'm going to pick stuff or do >> it's kind of Millie Maker.
185:02>> Yeah, >> cuz like Jennings for 100 more like I'm just doing that.
185:06>> Yeah, absolutely.
185:07>> I can find a hundred bucks.
185:08>> Yep. Yep.
185:09>> So, >> yeah. Uh but yeah, KD would be priority.
185:13Jennings to uh Pieraw large field.
185:18>> Yeah, >> fun stuff. But >> how much of a priority is McCaffrey for you? He's 9,000.
185:24>> I just said I tried to make the I think he's going to be fine, but with with with McCaffrey, I always look at the
185:30spots because his best games this year are where he can add the rushing efficiency to his receiving. And I think this is a spot where we have to question
185:38it based on this recent run >> by the Titans, right? Like it's still it feels so crazy to say that out loud like
185:45but it's >> now if you come out of this meeting with the Titans and put together a bunch of McCaffrey lineups is that is that
185:53insider trading if you convince the Titans to allow them to run the ball.
185:57>> Oh yeah. Did I convince them? Yeah.
186:00>> And then you just you just jam McCaffrey because I I agree. I mean I think that the the path of least resistance is the
186:07passing game.
186:07>> I mean he's more expensive than Gibbs.
186:10>> Yeah. I'd rather play Gibbs.
186:12>> Yeah, I I would >> I'd rather play Gibbs.
186:14>> I mean, you're No, in season you're just I think he's gonna be an RB1. He's going to do his thing. I'm talking about like
186:18>> be fine.
186:20>> But at 9K, you need a borderline 30point game from him, >> which he can do. I'm not even saying he
186:27can't do it. It's more like Gibbs. We talked about the wide range of outcomes and for tournaments. Like I'm just more
186:34drawn to Gibbs where, >> you know, I I express pessimism about them, but >> yeah, >> he could also go nuts. We know he can go
186:42nuts.
186:44>> He just has so much more juice right now than McAffrey.
186:47>> Yeah. And him getting that type of usage. Like he's getting McAffrey receiving usage, but it's a younger player, better game environment, more
186:53explosive player on a team that's going to actually do cool things.
186:57>> Yep.
187:00That sums it up >> pretty much it. But I do think if you're tra if you are trailing though, like coming in like Niners passing game stuff
187:09I think is strong.
187:10>> I agree. I agree. I think that's a great pivot. I I would say the Seahawks are another pivot.
187:15>> Um >> let's do it >> and we can we can talk about them to close out. So the Seahawks >> uh coming off um a strong game from Sam
187:26Darnold. Bounceback game against the Falcons. bounce bounceback game for JSN.
187:31Um gets in the end zone a couple times, 792 and two on two on 10 targets and um I think set up for an efficient game
187:40this week because you get a Colts defense that goes from S Gardner and Travarius Ward to having both those guys out now.
187:48>> And I not sure if they'll have DeForest Buckner back. Uh did we get word on that because he he's been limited. Um, but
187:57that's that's one where if they're down I mean Buckner >> Yeah.
188:01>> has been has been helpful. So he was limited limited limited. I don't know if they're going to activate him or not.
188:05Limited limited limited coming off the IR is probably a no, >> but he's >> uh Yeah, I think they have till Saturday
188:13to do it. So, we'll see. Uh, but yeah, I mean, this defense is now one you actually you want to target through the
188:20air. Yep. And then, you know, I know it's the Seahawks and they have an insanely low pass rate this year, but
188:26they did have a 3% pass rate of expected.
188:28>> Yeah, last week they were like, "This isn't working."
188:31>> 11% on first and 10 Pro, and this was a 39 37 to9 win over the Falcons, you know, maybe maybe
188:40>> maybe >> like if you give me a 50% pass rate against this defense, JSN's going to go nuts.
188:46>> Mhm. I'm just worried I'm going to get 26% which they've already done once this year, >> right?
188:52>> I didn't make that up. That they did that.
188:54>> Yeah, >> they did that against the Cardinals.
188:58>> So, that's the downside.
189:00>> Yeah. I mean, I listen, I I'm in on JSN, especially with these cornerbacks being out and maybe last week, too. Like you
189:06said, they if they're running efficiently, maybe at least they'll give up on it at some point. Uh like but we only have one that happening once and it
189:15took 15 weeks or 14 weeks for it to happen, >> right?
189:18>> But it was something. It was something.
189:20>> It's something Walker here. What do you What are your thoughts on him?
189:24>> I don't know.
189:26>> I I mean I wish like it's it's really weird because he was so bad again last week. That's like did he reopen the
189:32door? Uh we it's so hard to get a feel because they've played in such weird game scripts of like what they even
189:38really want to do with this with these guys because they've been blowing teams out and like so there was games where he
189:45was running hot and he looked like he was going to be the clearly lead guy and then they start blowing a team out and
189:49then he they start bringing in Charbanet. Um last week he was just bad until then it got bad and then he wasn't
189:58playing again. Uh, we still have no idea if he's like an actually if he he's getting coland carries or not. We don't
190:03know. Like we haven't like we just don't know. We haven't been in spots for it.
190:07It's he's just a real hard guy to gauge.
190:10Uh I don't know. I I don't have an answer.
190:13I I don't Do you have one?
190:16I don't It's just like I I feel like and this is kind of like a baseball mindset where you're like going
190:24through you're thinking like guys that you might end up fading like is this guy gonna bury me?
190:28And it's hard to see how Walker buries me at this point. Like I he could have a decent day um at 5600.
190:38I think he's a fine play, but I'm probably not going to play him because I'm I'm worried about the ceiling because anytime they get up too much,
190:46they tend to play Charban. And if they get up way too much, then we see other dudes. So, >> um and he just hasn't been that good
190:53this year. you know, he's running back 31 in rush yards over expected per attempt. He's okay like in terms of pure
191:00breakaway running. He's running back 11 there, but like the consistent chunk gains, not even like grinding out short yardage stuff, but just like, "Hey, can
191:07you get me seven yards? Can you get me 11?" You know, he hasn't done that all that well. And then he's running back 34
191:13in success rate. Sharp has been like way worse in all of these metrics, by the way. So, it's not like I'm saying they
191:18should play Sharpet more, but they are playing Charbet.
191:21>> They should just throw more. They should just throw.
191:23>> They should just throw more. Yeah.
191:25>> So, >> that's that's >> We got excited in week 12 when he had 55% of the carries. That's his season
191:32high for the Yeah. You know, for the whole year. So, >> uh I don't know. I I just don't have a
191:38lot of I'm probably not going to play him. I I don't I don't see how he's like winning me tournaments. um maybe he can fill in
191:47enough points to help me get there, but uh I'd almost be happy to be proven wrong because the Seahawks are just such
191:55a frustrating team that way where you'd think they would give us some kind of like if if they could just if I lose
192:00money this week but Kenneth Walker emerges as like >> an obvious running back start going forward that I think I'd take that
192:07trade.
192:08>> I don't know if I'd take that trade but uh I'd rather >> Well, I didn't say how much. you know,
192:11maybe.
192:12>> Yeah.
192:16>> Um, but you know, it's just like it's just hard to get excited about the ceiling, whereas like JSN and unlimited
192:22volume can just go nuts.
192:24>> Correct.
192:24>> Um, but the the one thing that would make me nervous about Fading Walker is that on the other side of this game, we
192:32have 44year-old Philip Rivers coming back with a 14.25 25 implied team total.
192:41>> I've never been more excited >> talking about how there's a clip going around where he says he doesn't even watch Joe Burrow play because he doesn't
192:48like that Joe Burrow wears like fur coats or some nonsense. Like you that's it. You just can't even see the guy.
192:54>> That does track though. That does track.
192:56>> Tracks pretty well. Yeah, >> that does track.
192:59>> They asked him how much he weighed and he like very uh honestly was like, I don't know.
193:07>> Yeah, don't know how much I weigh.
193:10And then he went back and answered the question and he's like more than the last time I was on a football field. Uh
193:14because it looks like it's a lot more.
193:17Um I don't know, man. This is nuts. Like what >> what is happening?
193:21>> I I cannot I cannot even believe this is happening. This is the most amazing thing that's going on or like terrible.
193:26I don't know. But like you know it it's it's there's like a there's fragmented conversations to have about this. like you know obviously one is like kind of
193:36the commentary of like the state of the NFL right now and like Gretch has talked about this like I talk about a lot uh
193:42you know as the position is like kind of geared towards like postnap there's like it's it's gotten to like postnap creation physical traits where
193:50emphasized more than playing the position and now that's like come to roost a little bit but also like pre and postnap processing uh is less common
193:58because NFLs are like the NFL's in a spot where like they're doing so much before the snap of the football that
194:04it's hard to even teach these guys stuff because it's like not like >> two high coverages and cover two and like these are new things that happened.
194:11It's what they're showing you before uh the snap of the football the disguising of it is and what I think is really cool
194:18about this is that wasn't happening last time we saw Philip Rivers either.
194:22>> So like even though that he he's like knows more about football than all of us will ever he's seen a lot of
194:28things. He's seen so many things like he also wasn't playing in this era. Like you put Philip Rivers against a Brian
194:34Flores defense right now. Like is he in a box? Is he in a cage? He might be. We don't know. The dude hasn't played. Like
194:40then he like we're bringing a guy that hasn't played for football for five years. It's not like he took a year off
194:47and came back like had an injury, dude.
194:50Five years he hasn't played football.
194:52Five. Five years. So here here's >> Have you seen the movie Necessary Roughness?
194:59No, >> because you're you're younger than me.
195:02>> There. So, the premise maybe a little >> the premise of this movie is there's a a guy that has college eligibility left
195:09and he comes back and plays. His name is Paul Blake. It's a it's a movie Kathy Ireland. Sin Dad's in it. Uh I I
195:15actually reckon go watch it. It'll be fun. Uh he comes back as a 34 year old though.
195:20>> This guy's 44. He's 44.
195:23>> 44. He hasn't played in five years.
195:26We're like this. We're stretching the bandwidth of like Jacobe Brassette playing for like how far can we take this thing right where like a guy that
195:33understands football could be better than like >> like this I can't this is because if he outright just is gets eviscerated like
195:40oh I mean like there's just so much stuff here dude like to unpack >> it's so I I went back looked so okay
195:47first of all here's river's 2020 efficiency uh put on the chart now so here's Daniel Jones here's river so Rivers from 2020
195:59would be pretty good. Like this is where Dak Prescott is. So the last time we saw Philip Rivers play, he was pretty damn
196:05good. Now I think one of the other things that jumps out is here's the 2020 chart. Look where Rivers is on the 2020
196:11chart. So it tells you the season that we're having. That was a more efficient time, right?
196:16>> Yes, man. Yes.
196:18>> You know, everybody was more efficient back then.
196:21>> Uh and so that so that's something, right? It's it's it's a completely different era in terms of how efficient the offenses are. Uh also
196:31that this was a year 2020 Aaron Rogers won MVP. Ryan Tanahill was quarterback three in EPA per game. Deshawn Watson was quarterback six. Ryan Fitzpatrick
196:41was quarterback seven. Matt Ryan was still on the Falcons. Carson Wentz was still on the Eagles. And Matthew Stafford was still on the Lions. It's a
196:49long time ago, man. It was a long time ago.
196:54I'm You're telling me though that like Mike McDonald is not going to throw something at him where he's just like, "Oh [ __ ] man." Like, "I'm not ready for
197:00this."
197:00>> Like, like I didn't see this last time.
197:03>> Rivers, what is the oh [ __ ] I'm not ready for this play? Is it a a pass to Taylor? Is it a pass to like is there a
197:10way we can benefit from this or do we just turn on the TV and just watch?
197:14>> I think you just have to watch it, man.
197:16Like I I I'm not I'm not trying to do a damn thing through the Colts. If you beat me with Colts players, I will hat
197:22tip the [ __ ] out of you. Like it just so be it man. So be it. Uh >> creeps. How how many points do you need
197:30to be down >> to to pivot to Philip Rivers stack?
197:35>> How I mean dude I would play Cam. I would pivot to Cam Ward before I pivoted to Philip Rivers like 100%. Like it's
197:41not even a question.
197:42>> How many snowflakes do you need to have before it's River?
197:45>> At that point I'm not even adjusting the lineup. I'm just turning I'm throwing my phone out in the snow. I'm
197:50throwing it in the literal snowflakes.
197:52Like I don't give a [ __ ] man. Like there's no hope, dude.
198:02I want to see I want to see someone. If you play Philip Rivers, if you late swap to Philip Rivers, please screenshot the
198:08lineup and tag me.
198:10>> Oh, someone's playing him. Someone's definitely playing him.
198:12>> Don't start with Philip Rivers, man. If you're going to play him, it better be a late swap.
198:16>> Someone's doing it, dude. They're going to come out and they're going to try to run a lot and once that's not working,
198:22>> that's not going to work.
198:24>> It's not going to work. But >> see how it's the best defense in the league.
198:26>> They're going to try it.
198:28>> Like literally, they're first in DVO and EPA against LeBron.
198:33>> I mean, this is like a like a like there are some great storytellers in the world and no one would have made this [ __ ] up.
198:40>> No. No.
198:42>> This is farfetched as hell.
198:44>> What the [ __ ] is happening? You're like you would if if I were just sitting there telling the story Anthony this be
198:53story about Anthony Richardson coming back and kind of doing you know a little bit of a redemption arc in the to close
199:00the season right you'd never be like no no no Anthony Richardson he had an exercise band take out half his face and
199:07now he's he's on IR so we're going to Philip Rivers >> he's a draft pick on Riley Leonard Yeah, Riley Leonard. Well, Riley
199:17Leonard, what? He's He's legit hurt, right? Or not? He >> No, he's practiced in full again today.
199:22>> No, I didn't realize he was in full, >> dude. I mean, you can't The whole since Wednesday, he's practiced in full. Like,
199:30>> oh my god, >> cuz init the initial cell was all the quarterbacks got hurt. He knows the system.
199:37>> I saw that they were preparing him to start and it was just like and it was clear like this is happening, but I I
199:42never then checked in on Riley Leonard.
199:44I thought he would. Yeah.
199:46>> No. And he doesn't come and do this unless he's playing.
199:49>> No. Exactly. Exactly. He was He was told you're starting, which I mean, they were asking him about like football and
199:56stuff. He's like, you know, I recognize that it's not the same as being out here, but like I watch a lot of football. I have red zone on. I
200:03was like, so do I, dude. It's not I mean I know it's Philip Rivers and he's professional quarterback but like Rogers was talking about it and he's
200:15like you know I hope it's like getting on a bike you know hope it's like riding a bike for him excited to see him back
200:20and everything but is it like riding a bike?
200:22>> No.
200:23>> I don't think it is. I mean I have no way of knowing. Well, I I we talked about it uh with Lamar and um and
200:30Burrow. Like I used to do an article for Roto World that talked about like players coming back from injury and like
200:35quarterbacks even in season when they would miss multiple weeks, they would be rusty because it's such the position is just such a live fire position. Like you
200:42can't rep for it. You can't unless it's until you have live ammunition. Like you it's just a that's a structure of the
200:48beast of the position. And like this dude has played five years and he's going against the best defense, one of the best defense in the NFL. It's not
200:55even like he's facing the the the Cardinals or something like he's on the road in Seattle.
201:01>> Yeah.
201:02>> Like what is like what is happening?
201:06>> I the other thing No, go ahead.
201:09>> I'm just I'm I'm all struck by this whole situation.
201:14I'm I'm excited though. Like I'm Dude, this year the the the Seattle Seahawks allow 6.2 yards per pass attempt without pressure. when they don't pressure the
201:25opposing quarterback, like number one in the NFL, like that's when they don't get a pass rush.
201:31>> This is a this is a a team that we would not give the the Brandon Staley presentation to, by the way. They're
201:38actually good. It's good that they stopped the run because they also stopped the pass.
201:46>> I mean, yeah, I am flabbergasted by this whole turn of events though. Like >> it it also like the energy around Rivers
201:53is just like it's so I'm worried that like he it has the the feel of what it is where he wasn't on this team. He's literally
202:05at home and like he's like, "Man, I'd love to just like I'd love to just like play a football game. Like I'd love to
202:11just get back out there and rip it and just like be around the guys and you know be back in the NFL. would be so
202:19awesome. And then like somehow it happens and he's just like, "This is so sick. I'm here." But like, can't you see
202:27him just getting absolutely wrecked and being like, "All right, later."
202:32It didn't work.
202:34I'm not sure we get more than one week of this. This might be the only one.
202:38>> Back to Leonard next week.
202:39>> The literally only thing I can think about is that it's holiday season and this dude has 10 kids and he's like, "I
202:44got to get the [ __ ] out of the house."
202:46Like, what?
202:49text you think he's gotten about Christmas presents. He's like, man, >> he's just catching up on all the gift buy after practice.
202:59>> Do you think anyone's told him no, don't do this?
203:04>> No, I don't think so. I mean, I don't know how old his kids are, right?
203:10>> He's a great He's got grandkids.
203:12>> I know he's got grandkids. So, yeah. So, so his oldest kid who now is a father himself would have enough,
203:18you know, he would know >> like are they excited for this? Like are 45 like no >> if I if my dad now my dad is much older
203:29than Philip Rivers.
203:34But if my dad was like, "Hey, I'm gonna go play for the Colts this week." I'd be like, "Oh, dad, I don't know if that's a
203:41good idea." And they'd be like, "Yeah, no, it's cool. were playing the Seahawks and be like, "Ah, dad, the Seahawks, you can't do that. You've got like
203:49you're a great I have I have a daughter.
203:51I need you around, man.
203:53>> We need you, man.
203:55>> We need you."
203:56>> Or or the only the only other thing I can think of, too, is that like he has started to pay college tuitions and he's
204:01like, "All right, like, okay, >> come on.
204:05>> I did not save enough money."
204:08>> You think this is a financial thing?
204:11I got 10 more of these to put there. He put one kid through college and was like, "Oh, hold up.
204:16>> Hold on a second."
204:18>> The affordability crisis is really out of control.
204:22>> It's so expensive right now. It's so expensive right now.
204:27>> Kids, man, >> grandkids. I didn't I didn't I wasn't prepared for the grandkid.
204:33>> Well, like my kids want to go to like Purdue like [ __ ] man. Like Like [ __ ] 80 grand a year. like, "Hey, Shane, uh,
204:42you think maybe I could get a start this week?"
204:48>> Also, like I did, did they ask like how this started? Like, were they in conversation all year? Did Did he reach
204:55out to them?
204:56>> So, they're like best friends as far as I understand, exchange and and so I think they probably text and like stay
205:02in touch.
205:03>> I can do this, man. I can do this.
205:05>> I think he's probably been selling him he could do it for a while. He's literally taking Daniel Jones's number, too.
205:11>> Yeah. No. Yeah. His jersey number. Yeah.
205:13Yeah. Dude, think how dark that is. He was about to get paid and then like three weeks later that's >> he's given up his his jersey to to
205:22Rivers. It's a bummer.
205:24>> It is super bummer. And I love that Cam Newton interjected himself into this too of why he was asked like
205:31>> he was like pissed he didn't get a call >> buddy.
205:36They can just bring Anthony Richards back at one eye. Like like buddy, we
205:45I don't know, man. I think if you if you got the Colts with Philip Rivers and I got the Colts with Cam Newton,
205:54>> I think I win.
205:56>> You might have I think I might take your side, too.
206:01>> I would take Cam Newton over Philip Rivers right now. I I I like I said, I'm I'm absolutely flabbergasted that this
206:07is that we're even talking about this.
206:08>> It's crazy. It's crazy.
206:13>> It's literally like it's like Disney movie [ __ ] dude. Like someone wrote a script. Like this is like it's not
206:17helping the simulation cost. Like people >> seriously right helping the cost.
206:23>> I don't I don't want to believe in simulation theory, but like then stop then like the world needs to like cut it
206:28out. Like if you want me to think that you're real, you better start. There's a lot that's happened in the like the uh
206:35uh the last few years of humanity that is like we got to re-evaluate a lot of man. Like I'm starting to believe
206:41I'm like >> I know I have questions.
206:46>> I'm you know I'm approaching my mid-40s.
206:49Could be. It's like I'm just trying to run the clock out. I think at this point I don't even know.
206:53>> Approaching your mid-40s. You you better give Shane Stiken a call because they've got a job opening.
206:57>> Well, River Yeah, Rivers turned uh 44 this week. I mean, yeah, I'm 43, so >> All right, >> you could drive the facility.
207:08>> Yeah. I will say though, I went So, I went to nationals uh and I played 35 and older at 40 and we won it all and uh I
207:18was not faster at 40 than I was in my 30s. So, >> it tends to go that way.
207:24>> H good luck, Phil. I know he doesn't think he has to run, but buddy. And then you talk about this offense which has
207:32all been like RPO stuff. They'll probably just run back the flacco [ __ ] that they tried to do last year. But
207:36like what are you doing here if you're the like Tyler Warren and I've seen people be like well Philip Rivers threw
207:42to the tight ends. I'm like yeah he threw a bunch of Hall of Fame tight ends but like Tyler Warren's already been
207:46pretty mediocre the past month and his whole game was predicated on RPO stuff.
207:50That's probably not in the offense. You playing any wide receivers against the se We were going to question the Seahawks wide receivers if Daniel Jones
207:57was playing >> 100%.
208:00And then we've already seen Jonathan Taylor run cold against good matchups the past month. He's got one RB1 scoring week the past month and it was against
208:07the Falcons. Like uh and like so what do you want to do here? If you beat me with Colts, >> I I said I would trade uh losing money
208:16in DFS for the Seahawks to figure their running back situation out. I didn't mean that. I'd much rather win money.
208:23But if the Colts if the Colts beat us, I I I will join you in a hat tip. That's just I mean the Colts just going nuts
208:31this week would be just it would be really I mean think about the conversation next week if Philip Rivers actually does it. I mean Rich
208:41could make the Hall of Fame off of this game >> like this like his has a Hall of Fame borderline case, right? He's kind of a a
208:48bubble. He's he's kind of on the bubble.
208:50>> He is.
208:51>> If he beats the Seahawks, I think he's in.
208:54>> He's automatically in. They actually actually they because if he plays they have to reset his clock. I think they just wave it like
209:02>> they just wave it. They put him in the next day.
209:04>> They're just like dude. Yeah.
209:08>> While he's still playing.
209:10>> You do you realize too the last month they're at Seattle, then they play the 49ers, which whatever. Then they play Jacksonville
209:18and then they're at Houston again. Like >> I know Houston's messed up, dude. like Houston, they better play Leonard for that game
209:26or Richardson if he's available hopefully.
209:29>> But it's like not even like there's not even a spot here where you're like this is awesome.
209:33>> Like this.
209:34>> No, Jaguars is okay. I mean, it's not You're right. It's not like a gimme, but it's not harrowing. He gets the Seahawks
209:43and the Texans. That's crazy. Although, again, I don't know that he does. Like, I legitimately think he might re-retire after this game.
209:51That's how bad this could go.
209:54>> Just absolutely.
209:55>> That's the range of outcomes. It was the only way tomorrow or Hall of Fame tomorrow.
209:59>> This the We couldn't have done this. It had to be the last thing we talked about.
210:02>> Yeah. All right. I gotta go.
210:05>> Yeah.
210:06>> This has been This has been a blast.
210:08>> We kept it 3:30 with three extra games.
210:10We did better.
210:12>> We did better. I think right most by any other standard uh this this would not be good but by our standard we we're proud
210:19of ourselves.
210:24All right, let the people know what you got going on the worksheet. Sharp football analysis.
210:29>> Yeah, writing up writing up uh every game uh of the week at the over there.
210:33So check out all the check all that DFS writeups uh all the same stuff. Check out Legendary Upside for the walkthrough
210:40and for your uh playoff baseball needs.
210:43We got the sidekick rolling. Sim driven doing some really cool stuff. Um Zach shared a team the other day where he
210:49took uh he he had a Rams build and the Sims were suggesting Aman Staint Brown has a very strong pick for that team.
210:57Why do you ask? Because when the Lions make the playoffs, the Rams are less likely to have the buy. So that team
211:03just smokes in uh in DraftKings where it's only one of six to advance. So we We hope you do teams that are built in
211:09an intelligent way that way. Uh you can check it all out over at legendarysite.com/sidekick.
211:15But we'll be back here next week to talk through the week 16 DFS and uh wow, you know, fans football slate for the main slate of games. See
211:25you then. Good luck in week 15 and good luck to Philip Rivers.
