Jadarian Price

PositiveRole0:00

Projected to fill the Kenneth Walker role in Seattle's backfield. Despite not yet understanding the blocking scheme, short yardage situations, or pass protection, the source assesses Price as having 'the best juice' among Seattle running backs and plans to start him in leagues where he is rostered, betting that a defending Super Bowl champion will prioritize their first-round pick over depth options like Emmanuel Wilson.

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeInjury0:00

Eight months removed from reconstructive knee surgery performed in February; the source expresses uncertainty about how good he will be post-surgery. Expected to be placed ahead of Emmanuel Wilson and DeeJay Dallas in the Seattle backfield hierarchy upon activation and projected to fill the role he played last year, but the source notes he did not have much athleticism to give even before the injury.

0:00Moving to the D tier, I've got Zach
0:01Charbonnet and J'Adarian Price ranked
0:03back-to-back here. Keep in mind, Zach
0:05Charbonnet is a guy who did not have
0:07much athleticism to give. He did not
0:09have his reconstructive knee surgery
0:10until February, so he is really like
0:13this guy's eight months removed from
0:15reconstructive knee surgery. I'm not
0:17certain how good he is going to be. The
0:19thing that I do know is that when these
0:21guys are activated, they are immediately
0:23going to be placed ahead of Emmanuel
0:25Wilson and DeeJay Dallas. This is my
0:26expectation. I think Charbs is going to
0:28be placed in the role that he played
0:29last year, and I think J'Adarian Price
0:31is going to be placed in the
0:32quote-unquote Kenneth Walker role. But
0:34just watching J'Adarian Price play
0:36compared to the other running backs for
0:38Seattle, he to me clearly has the best
0:40juice even though he doesn't really
0:41understand the blocking scheme yet. He
0:43doesn't really understand what to do in
0:45short yardage. He clearly is not ready
0:46to go in terms of pass protection and
0:48things like that. But it's so hard for
0:50me to imagine a team, you know, a
0:51defending Super Bowl champion just say,
0:53"Hey, you know what we're going to do
0:54instead of playing the guy we spent our
0:55first-round pick on who clearly has the
0:57juice like we're going to make sure to
0:58play Emmanuel Wilson in this game." You
1:00know that in leagues where I have these
1:01guys, I right now I'm planning on
1:03starting both of them.
