0:00Today I'm tearing the top 36 quarterbacks ahead to 2026 fantasy football season in terms of you know who I expect to be finishing near the top of
0:08the ranks. This is Ian Harris from Rotoire. You are watching Quarterback Tiers. And with that, let's get after everyone with the one, the only King,
0:16Josh Allen QB1, the undisputed king of fantasy football. Guys, don't think that's too controversial start here. All right. Alltime leader in fantasy points
0:25per game in the Super Bowl era. He has finished as a QB1 or QB2 in fantasy land. Six years running since he decided
0:32to be awesome in 2020. The better question is, is he actually worth, you know, a third round pick, likely where he's going to be going in the majority
0:39of home reddraft leagues? And the answer, I think, is usually yes, guys.
0:44All right, I found some good data going back looking at ESPN specifically. They kind of did a 10 team league thing. So,
0:49it's not, you know, one for one everywhere, but looking at the amount of rosters that made the playoffs that had Josh Allen on it, it's been a really
0:57good hit rate, guys. 2020, 50% of, again, rosters with Josh Allen on it made the playoffs. 49% in 2021, 59% in
1:052022, 62% 58%, and another 58% hit rate of ESPN rosters with Josh Allen. at least making your teams playoffs. And again, just given the normal reality of
1:16us having, you know, what's that going to be? Four out of the 10 teams making the playoffs, we're beating that hit
1:22rate, you know, much better than you would expect with a neutral player.
1:25Again, early price. I'm probably not going out of my way completely for Josh Allen this year. There's a lot of depth
1:30I like at the position later on. But if you do want to go ahead and use Josh Allen in round three, I can't argue with
1:36it based on the past results. And there is a lot to be said about it. If you guys have seen that Family Guy meme
1:41where Peter has a chance to win a boat or also take a mystery box and Peter points out that the mystery box could be
1:47anything. It could even be a boat.
1:49That's kind of how I view drafting Josh Allen in round three. We know who Josh ALLEN IS. HE'S THE boat guys. He's Josh
1:54Allen mystery box. Maybe it could be Jackson Smith and Jigba. Maybe it could be, you know, unfortunately a lab maki Marvin Harrison Jr. from last season.
2:03But Josh Allen the QB1 again tough to really dispute that. Tier two. That's right. Only one guy in the top. We're
2:10looking at overall QB1 upside. I got three quarterbacks here, okay? And I am going in order of my ranks, which you
2:15can find at rotoire.com, code Ian20 for 20% off if you're into that kind of thing. Lamar Jackson, Jaden Daniels, and Jaylen Herz. Yeah, I got a thing for
2:24Russian quarterbacks, guys, cuz we've seen time and time again, this actually produced the best quarterbacks in all of fantasy football. So, I actually did a
2:32little bit of a study here, written article over at rotowire.com if you're into reading words in the year 2026. But basically, I looked at all the
2:39quarterbacks that score at least 20 fantasy points per game over the course of the past decade. 32% of them had at
2:45least 100 carries in the season, and over half at least guys were averaging four and a half rush attempts per game.
2:51Not trying to throw a bunch of numbers at you, but that's about 77 carries per season over the course of 17 games. So,
2:57over half of the top most elite fantasy quarterbacks over the years have at least had a good, if not great, rushing
3:04floor. And that's exactly what we have with Lamar Jackson, Jaden Daniels, and Jaylen Herz. So with Lamar, I know fell off a little bit last year. That was not
3:12ideal. But when we have the context of the week four hamstring injury, the later season lower back injury and stats like NextGen stats speed, ball carrier
3:21speed showing just the drastic fall off and what he was doing in weeks one through four, over 15 miles per hour per
3:26average touch compared to after under 12 mph. Again, we're able to quantify what we're seeing with our eyes that Lamar simply wasn't the same guy. So maybe
3:35Dicklin Doyle brings out the best in Lamar. I don't know. I like what Tom Monin did there. I feel like in July
3:41we're always talking about the next play caller just always bringing out great things and sometimes they do. Sometimes they're Chip Kelly. They get fired, you
3:48know, before November's over. So I'm not discounting that. End the day with Lamar Jackson, guys. He's responsible for two of the six greatest fantasy football
3:56seasons ever. If we are missing on Lamar, we are missing in a huge way and I am not in the business of doing that.
4:02So Lamar still my QB2. Maybe it is time in dynasty to take a little bit of a long look at how how great we think he's
4:10going to be as he gets into age 32, 33 years and everything. But for right now, Lamar still one of only very few
4:15quarterbacks we could realistically see through for over 4,000 yards and rush for, you know, 800 or so at this point in his career. Tough to bicker with that
4:23in fantasy land. Jaden Daniels, my QB3, a little bit higher relative to some of the ADP you see around the world at this
4:30point in time. I know it's mostly best ball and stuff. We're getting to more ESPN sleeper ADP with more drafts happening in on those sites as we get
4:38closer to season, but still with Jaden Daniels, guys, one year removed from him, averaging north of 20 fantasy points per game as a rookie. The only
4:45other quarterbacks to do that in NFL history, Cam Newton, Justin Herbert, and RG3. So, you know, obviously didn't work out. I understand they're wearing the
4:54same uniform here. So, yes, there is a little bit of risk here with Daniels, he was someone also very banged up last
4:59season. And you can say going back to his days at LSU where he was taking a lot of I think uh Nate Ty put it best.
5:07Johnny Knoxville hits, you know, trying to hurdle dudes in the middle of the field and just not really taking great care of his body. Last year again, knee
5:13injury in week two, had the hamstring injury in week seven. Unfortunately, that dislocated elbow in week nine, flared up again when he tried to play
5:20against the Vikings. So even amid all that though guys and even amid Daniels not playing as good in real life even
5:26when he was healthy and even with Terry McLaren being banged up 18.9 fantasy points per game from Jaden Daniels in the first four weeks of the season that
5:34would have been good for QB7 status. So again in the history of fantasy football the two big cheat codes that we've
5:40consistently seen high volume rushing quarterbacks and then running backs who catch a lot of passes. Jaden Daniels, even if it'd be a lot cooler if we had
5:48an extra really good wide receiver there that maybe wasn't freaking crazy. Right now, looking at you, Brandon Aayuk, Jaden Daniels, still someone who can be
5:56an average real life quarterback, but still be a freaking star in fantasy. And let's face it, in 2024, guys, he was a
6:02star in real life and fantasy.
6:03Hopefully, the injury gods let him get back to doing that. Most controversial guy in this tier, though, is probably going to be Jayen Herds. All right, and
6:10I get it. Last year wasn't cool, but it was kind of like the AJ Brown thing where took a step back and AJ B still
6:16finished wide receiver 11 in PPR points per game, just like Jaylen Herd still finished QB seven in fantasy points per game, 18.7. It was his first career
6:24season under 20. But that's not the worst floor in the world. And honestly, the reason why he was falling off was
6:30more so the entire offense being less effective as opposed to, you know, a key piece of Jaylen Herz's game all of a
6:36sudden not being on the table. And yes, I am talking about the tush push. When you do look at Jayon Herz and Josh
6:42Allen, guys, these are the two offenses that weaponize the tush push more than any other at this point in time, it is
6:47striking how many more fantasy points these guys get from this one specific play relative to anyone else in the league. Over these last two seasons, I
6:57believe it's Jayen Herds with about 93 fantasy points per game on rush attempts from the one yard line. That's it. All
7:03right. Probably even get some from the two or three just from the one yard line. Jiren hurts 93 fantasy points. I
7:10think Josh Allen's at like 72. No other quarterback has more than 30. Trevor Lawrence kind of does that jubies jump over the line thing. He's fumbled a few
7:19times. Be more careful. Tall. Nobody gets as many of these attempts as Herz and Allen. Now last year we saw the
7:26touchdowns dip, but it wasn't for lack of trying. The Eagles last year from the one yard line actually used a tush push
7:32on 89% of their plays. The difference with past years was that they only had the tied for 18th most plays from the
7:38oneyard line in the league over that last 2021 2024 sample. They actually had the tied for second most in the league.
7:44I think it was just straight up second most behind only the Detroit Lions. So again, one of those things where with
7:49Herz and Allen, they just have this entire other tool in their fantasy arsenal in the tush push that other players to position don't even have. So
7:57no, I don't think Jaylen H is an all world passer. Not horrible though. He just won a Super Bowl, so now we feel
8:02obligated to always have him in these top three, top five real life conversations, which I don't think he is in. But at the same time, you know, bad
8:09quarterbacks aren't helping AJ Brown go for almost 1500 yards. And also Devonte Smith putting up good numbers alongside that. Yeah, be a lot cooler if they
8:17could have figured things out with AJB.
8:18Also don't want to completely crown Shawn Manion before he's actively called, you know, a real NFL player and everything like that. But very very I
8:27think we can agree very much room to improve in the schematic department in this offense. I do like Mai Lemon. They
8:34have more depth I would say at wide receiver with Dantavian Wixs and Maris Brown. Eli Sters coming in behind Dallas Gddard. I think there's enough reason
8:42with these weapons and Jayen Herd still giving us a lot of good years throwing the football man to believe that we
8:48could see last year be more the floor as opposed to the sign of things to come.
8:52Jayen Herz my QB4 and I do believe relative to his ADP one of the better early round values at the position at
8:58the moment. Let's move on to tier three.
9:00This is the longest tier that I'm going to be going over. Okay, so this is sky-high ceilings and I do think speaks
9:05to relative depth at the position and kind of a reason why I am okay letting my other league mates spend their
9:11earlier picks at quarterback. So, I got Joe Burrow coming in as my QB5 overall, followed by Drake May, QB6, Justin Herbert, QB7. Caleb Williams, QB8,
9:20Trevor Lawrence, QB9, Brock Perie, QB10, and Dak Prescott, QB11. That is the tier right there. So, with Joe Burrow, when he's healthy, guys, nobody has a better
9:30chance to lead the league in yards and touchdowns. We've seen him average an elite and exactly 21.9 fantasy points per game in 2022 and 2024 when he's been
9:39healthy. had to play through that calf issue in 2023 before he was knocked out for the season right as he was starting
9:44to get round into form. Then last year obviously had the week 2 issue which kept him out until he got back in
9:50Thanksgiving. So look again very very capable guy but we saw what happened in 2023 and 2025 when he does get a little
9:58bit injured he needs to be a premier one of the top passers in the league in order to kind of meet this ADP when we
10:05have seen Burrow forced to work at 80 90% of himself. It has been rough and that is true for a lot of quarterbacks.
10:10But again, it's just the way fantasy football goes in traditional four-point per passing touchdown leagues. It's very tough for guys like Burrow to offer that
10:17same 25 plus fantasy point per game upside that we do see from more of the dual threat guys at the position. And so
10:23love me some Joe Burrow. If you're in one of those leagues where it's five, six point passing touchdowns, feel free to move him up into the top three.
10:29Traditionally though, sitting here as my QB5, Drake May, my QB6. My god, what a season from this dude. second year as a
10:37starter, your favorite fantasy analyst, favorite late round quarterback last season, like I don't think that was a, you know, hot take to believe in Drake
10:44May last year. But now all of a sudden it's like, well, was he going to regress? Because when us fantasy nerds
10:48see someone perform as freaking good as Drake May, sometimes all we can do is be the boy who cried regression and say,
10:54well, he can't possibly do that again.
10:56But man, in an offense with an offensive line that we didn't think too much of with a wide receiver room that had some
11:02depth but didn't have an all-star, Drake May number one in EPA per drop back completion percentage over expected.
11:08Explosive pass rate, yards per attempt, QBR pass rating, and I'm sure another 10 nerdy advanced stats. You guys get it.
11:15The playoffs sucked. Also, just a freaking gauntlet, guys. Chargers, Texans, Broncos, Seahawks, ninth, second, third, and first rank scoring defenses. managed to do better in the
11:26playoffs. Still don't man the Super Bowl. I'm giving more credit in the defense. Some of the lackluster performances on the other side of the
11:32ball, I would say had a bit more to do with it, but that's neither here nor there. In the regular season, Drake May
11:37was absolutely fantastic. And yes, he benefited from the opposite of the playoffs. A very, very light schedule.
11:42Something that we can't exactly assume, but look at the upgrades. AJB wide receiver one. Romeo Dobs is a damn good wide receiver two. Second year in what's
11:51usually seen as a pretty complicated Josh McDaniel system. And while the schedule might not be it's not going to be easier. Okay, I don't think Drake May
11:59is gonna average 8.9 yards per attempt again. All right, shave off a yard if you want to. The big thing we could be
12:04getting is a lot more volume. Okay, we don't want our quarterbacks necessarily winning these games by four or five touchdowns every single week in real
12:11life. We want the back and forth shootouts. We want like the average Caleb Williams experience from the last four weeks of last season or so. And we
12:18want that again positive or I should say just not necessarily extremely negative, not Jakobe Brousette level game script necessarily, but you guys see how it
12:26goes. All right, we want these close games, these highscoring affairs that result in just oodles of po of fantasy points going on in the fourth quarter or
12:33so. So look, last season New England 10th fewest pass attempts overall, but shout out to Fantasy Life for this stat.
12:40Drop back rate over expected guys, they were actually plus 3%. That was the fifth highest mark in the league. So, I
12:46do think McDaniels wanted Drake May to throw the ball around. They just didn't really need to keep their foot on the
12:51gas because they were regularly playing with leads in the second half of games.
12:54So, the tougher schedule, yes, it's probably not going to help the efficiency, but I think that volume component is lost on a lot of people.
13:00And for that reason with the improved offensive environment as well, I do have Drake May sitting pretty as my QB6.
13:06QB7, Justin Herbert. And this is a guy I'm a little bit higher on the rest of the industry and for good reason though,
13:12guys. Again, playoff stuff. If you want to have a real life argument, I do think it matters how you're performing in
13:17January. Feel free to wait that more.
13:18But we're not having that argument right now. We're ranking fantasy quarterbacks.
13:21So with Herbert, we have someone that has a 5,000 yard passing season to his name. It's been a few years now, but
13:27first couple years, guys, we saw him rip off multiple seasons, averaging north of 22 fantasy points per game. It was just
13:33such a wild time in fantasy football.
13:35Lamar and Josh Allen and Mome still, even Jaylen Herz. Herbert was finishing with like QB4, QB5 sort of numbers that nowadays would be vying for a number one
13:44overall spot. So, he's falling off in the same time span. I get it. But, man, you look at everything going this dude's
13:50way. Even if you're a hater, you got to admit top 10 real life quarterback. That shouldn't be controversial. I'd probably say top five. Let's just say top 10.
13:58Last year, career best 498 rushing yards. And now look at the new improvements. All right. Mike McDaniel.
14:05Shout out to Ryan Heath from Fantasy Points. Love the idea of trying to target quarterbacks from the Mc Shanahan family tree. Isn't that a great name?
14:12Kudos to Ryan again for that. So again, the Shawn McVey, Mike and Kyle, more so Kyle, let's face it. Kyle Shanahan, uh,
14:20you know, the coaching trees going on here. When you look at Herbert now with Mike McDaniel, look at the freaking Jag
14:26dirt average, not physically talented quarterbacks that we have seen thrive in these systems. All right, with Shanahan, Jimmy Garopppolo, Nick Mullins. I like
14:35Brock Perie. I'll defend him in a second, but come on. He's He was the last pick in the NFL draft for a reason,
14:40guys. And there's a reason why Justin Herbert went seventh or whatever he did back in the day. Physical tools. I think
14:46you can make an argument this is one of, if not the most talented quarterbacks that we have seen in this system in
14:52recent years. Think about going from Jared Goff who's been great. Not even trying to slay on Jared Goff, but you see what happened when we went from him
14:59to Matthew Stafford with some of those improvements in Los Angeles moving over to Shawn McVey tree. I just it's a unique opportunity where we get a chance
15:07to draft someone who's been really good in fantasy, someone who we know to be really good in real life, and then gets
15:13this potential rocket in the form of a play caller that's going to press all the easy buttons with pre-nap motion, all this play action stuff that we just
15:21haven't seen Herbert get. And now he's out of discount.
15:24QB15 early ESPN ADP pick 123.7 guys and it's July. I'm not going to freak out. I don't know who's drafting on ESPN right
15:33now. I'm not. I'm in best baseball land high stakes and all that. Check it out.
15:38Holy though. Pick 123 Justin Herbert. I will go after that every single draft that I get a chance to. So offensive line Rashan Slater all coming
15:46back healthy. It'd be cool if they had one more wide receiver. All due respect to Makoni, QJ, and even Trey Harris.
15:53Brennan Thompson led the SEC in receiving yards last year. People forget, but man, this is just an offense I really want to bet on this season. I
16:01think there's a good chance that the Chargers have the sort of season I think they're capable of having. Justin Herbert could be at the top of the MVP
16:08leaderboard going later into the year.
16:10We'll see what happens in the playoffs, but at least for the 2026 regular season, Justin Herbert and the Chargers as a whole, that really is one of my
16:17biggest bets, guys. I want to be all in on this group.
16:20QB8 Caleb Williams. Honestly, kind of a similar sentiment. Like Herbert and Caleb, if you are going to be spending up a little bit on the position, I think
16:28relative to where they're going ADP-wise, these are two of my favorite guys. Caleb actually is my most drafted quarterback over underdog fantasy right
16:35now because he just finished as the QB7 fantasy points per game. We believe in the talent. Duba number one overall for
16:41a reason. Still a young guy. I think only 24. like got to give some dudes like Caleb a little more credit for
16:46coming out after they haven't, you know, already started 50 freaking college games like the Bow Nixes and Jaden Daniels of the world. So, there is a
16:53steeper learning curve. We should expect at least some problems in their performance. But credit to Caleb, man, for his ability to go from year one to
17:00year two and already make one massive improvement to his game, and that is his ability to avoid sacks. Okay, Bears offensive line has gotten a lot of fall,
17:08but man, that first year, we also saw Caleb Williams take a ton of sacks under pressure. There's a stat that's actually
17:14called pressure to sack ratio. It's when a quarterback is under pressure, how many sacks are they taking in those situations. Only Will Levis was worse
17:22than Caleb Williams in 2024. You don't want to be grouped in Will Lev any of these stats in these days. Last season,
17:28he improved all the way to freaking third. Nobody avoided more sacks than Caleb Williams per true media. and he actually recorded four of the position's
17:37top five fastest ball carrier speeds with the football in his hand per nextgen stats. So the athleticism is ridiculous from Caleb Williams. Truly
17:46one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the league from a moving perspective.
17:49You see the RPMs he gets on that freaking football guys and he's rolling out to his right. I mean that dude has a
17:54howitzer top five Caleb Williams throws are probably going to top anyone else in the league. So what do we need? We need
18:01him to hit those layups. All right.
18:03can't be completing sub 60% of the passes. He did last year, still posted QB7 numbers, but it's not. And I know
18:10Josh Allen fixed it and he's amazing, but like remember the Josh Allen stats was like going back to JV in high school
18:15and someone dug up his completion rate.
18:17Like he had never completed even 60% of his passes at any level of football. So I think from that standpoint, there's at
18:23least a little more reason to be concerned about if he'd ever be able to pick things up, particularly at professional level. But that's not what
18:29we're looking at with Caleb Williams, guys. I just think it's a situation where whether it's this offense, whether it's a situation where, you know, maybe
18:36he hasn't had the best chemistry with some of his different pass catchers out there, I just think that Caleb Williams guys could be on the verge of like
18:43Justin Herbert. I swear to God, these are the only two guys I'm going to say is for an MVP extension up the ranks. So
18:49again, at USC guys, Caleb Williams 65% 67% 69% completion rate. haven't seen at the NFL level, but like for me and
18:58Caleb, he's got all the athletic ability in the world. We've seen him improve a lot from year one to year two, and we've already
19:05seen skyhigh fantasy points. You're telling me the only thing we need is for him to hit some more of these wide
19:10openen throws that we know he can hit.
19:12He just probably needs to polish up the mechanics a little bit. That's a bet I'm willing to make. So, Caleb Williams,
19:17QB11 right now on ESPN, QB8 on Sleeper.
19:20Absolutely love buying stock in the Iceman himself. QB9 Trevor Lawrence. QB1 weeks 10 through 18 last season, guys.
19:3023 fantasy points per game. Definitely booied by nine rushing touchdowns. I don't think we should be expecting that to happen every single year or anything
19:36like that. But, you know, it's on the table and Tall still only 26 years old somehow. Very, very impressive. You know, the prince who was promised, shout
19:44out Nick Wright for that great nickname.
19:46But with Tall, the one concern I have is that a lot of that second half schedule was Tyler Chuckesque. you know, was
19:53pretty soft. Weeks 12 through 18, he got the Colts twice. He got the Titans twice, the Cardinals, and the Jets. Now,
20:00he also went into Denver and threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns. I thought he put a decent enough performance, you know, showing for
20:06himself against the Bills in the wild card round as well. Got the loss, but you know, it is what it is sometimes.
20:11Trevor Lawrence, he's always had this upside or so we've been told he does.
20:15Jaguars pass catchers have led the NFL in drops since he's been there. Drops, one of those stats. I do think sometimes
20:22it can be a little bit QB aided 10% 15% just trying to say. Either way guys, TAW he's the dual threat quarterback. He can
20:32run for 400 plus yards. He can throw for 4,000 plus yards. And this is tough to keep those sorts of guys down in the
20:38ranks too far. Yet he kind of is. QB11 on sleeper, QB13 on ESPN. And again, this is why I just love the thought of
20:46doing more of a late round approach. The fact that T law and Justin Herbert can't even be considered a late round QB is
20:52wild. But you know what? I go back to being in some of these drafts, guys.
20:56Every August, I'm sure you've been in these situations as well. You're in one of these drafts, everyone gets their first QB and maybe a few take a second,
21:03maybe they don't. And then you just see someone like Trevor Lawrence go in round 14 or 15. You're like, "Ah, I like my
21:10team. I would have liked a lot more if I was that guy actually getting the best freaking late round quarterback option
21:16available. Why not us guys? Why not this year? We be that lucky guy. Absolutely love some of these available options.
21:23And it keeps going. Brock Perie, QB10 in my ranks, first four years in the league, QB11, QB7, QB 13, and most
21:30recently QB4 in fantasy points per game.
21:32Kind of had his own little T- law finish to last season. And that was with reminder not that many great weapons
21:38going on in San Francisco. Okay, it's been one of those things where I remember in 2023, amazing 49ers offense, but we had a three-game stretch where
21:45Debo was out and Trent Williams was out three freaking games, but they only scored like 17 points. So, it was this
21:51whole idea that Brock Perie more of a, you know, some of his parts QB as opposed to someone who's going to be
21:56actually rising up uh the tide of the entire offense.
22:00Trent Williams been struggling to stay healthy last couple years. You guys all know about Braden Auk, Debo Samuel out of the picture. Ricky Parasol can't stay
22:07healthy. George KD tears his Achilles.
22:08All it was was Christian McCaffrey and that didn't stop Brock Perie from running for some touchdowns, hitting his little duggey move. That was actually
22:15kind of smooth, even as a fellow, you know, lame white dancer guy. Thought that was kind of smooth. I think Brock
22:22Perie, if you want to call him a system quarterback because he's number one the Super Bowl era and yards per attempt,
22:27passer rating, and pass success rate.
22:29Call him a system quarterback. I think you're wrong. He does so much cool stuff offscript I never get credit for. But
22:34all right, let's say he is. Well, it's like the best and most efficient system that we've ever seen deployed by an NFL
22:39offense. So, why not go ahead and take that discount in fantasy land where guess what? We don't get extra points for style points anyway. Brock Pury, my
22:46QB10 and very much belonging of this uh guys with the same tier. The reason why I have Taw, Caleb, Herbert, May, Burrow
22:53ahead of him. I just don't love an offense that's relying on so many 30 plus year old veterans to keep on
22:59keeping on especially when you know they have that whole weird electromagnetic plant next to the practice field and whatever.
23:06Last guy and again our tier three sky high ceiling tier Dak Prescott NFC's version of Joe Burrow. Basically everything we said about the Bengals
23:13should also apply to the Cowboys here.
23:15No one should be surprised if the Bengals the Cowboys are top two scoring offenses in the NFL. That said, last year it was great picking CD, both top
23:2412 wide receivers on a per game basis.
23:25And Dak was really good. It was just 18.9, you know, QB nine fantasy points per game on the season. So, he's not a
23:32statue by any stretch of the imagination. Go back and watch some Dak Prescott Mississippi State rushing highlights, guys. Uh, if you're trying
23:38to have a good Saturday night, and you'll see what I'm talking about. But just at this point in his career, 33
23:43years young at some point here, 6.8, 10.4 rushing yards per game these last two seasons. Dak is just more on the
23:51Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff side of the Russian quarterback spectrum than of course being with the Lamar Jacksons, even the Justin Herberts and Drake Mays
24:00of the world at this point. So Dak Prescott again, same tier as Joe Burrow and I would argue that that you know
24:06kind of just gap between them does matter and it probably is a little bit too wide. But I do also think that given
24:11that age factor that goes into it, given the fact the Cowboys could be a little bit more of a runheavy offense than what
24:16we see in Cincinnati, it's enough reason for me to have Dak at the bottom of this tier.
24:21Let's keep it going. QB4 tier, there's at least one red flag, but they're still coming in as my QB 12 through 14.
24:28Jackson Dart, Patrick Mahomes, and Bo Nicks in the house. So with Dart, look again, he runs the ball, guys, and it's
24:35just something fancy that cannot be understated. I'll probably say a stat again for some of these other guys, but here we go. 26 of 28 quarterbacks over
24:44the past decade with a 100 rush attempts in this season posted top 12 numbers in fantasy points per game. I'm not doing
24:51that mean fantasy analyst alleged expert trick where I just say some stat and it's like everyone that's played 17 games I give you the overall rank which
24:59you know is kind of skewy per game when quarterbacks have had 100 plus rush attempts they've had a 93% hit rate of
25:06being a QB1 in fantasy land and the only two guys not do it it's at least a little screwy it was 2018 Lamar Jackson
25:12who actually did qualify once he took over under center for Joe Flacco they were kind of using him as like a certain
25:18situational package wildcat before like week nine or something that year. And then 2020, Cam Newton, who was the only quarterback over the age of 30 in that
25:26group as well. Some we don't have to worry about. Jackson Dart obviously. So, I love the rushing upside here. Only Josh Allen had more fantasy points from
25:33rushing than Jackson Dart among quarterbacks last year. And hell, since he took over in week four the rest of the way, he was the QB8 with 19.9
25:41fantasy points per game. What I don't like is everything else about this situation, guys. Can you think of a worse trio of offensive coaches to
25:49really be leaning on than Matt Naggie, Brian Callahan, and Greg Roman? Like, how the hell did that happen? I know Roman's done some good stuff in the run
25:57game. Maybe you want to give some of the chief success to Matt Naggie. I wouldn't do it. I really got nothing on Brian
26:04Callahan. Maybe Jackson Dar can overcome all that. Maybe he can also overcome Malik Neighbors probably starting the season banged up. I don't know if it's
26:11gone to the pup. I'm just not really expecting him to be 100% by week one.
26:14Similar sentiment with Cam Scataboo. But I say all that and that was all true last year. Neighbors tore up his knee
26:21first start with dart scataboo dart thing. That was fun for a few weeks.
26:25Then he got hurt unfortunately and it just didn't matter. So would be cool if we had some better improvements elsewhere. I like Isaiah likely as much
26:32as next fantasy nerve, but still got to see him do it more as you know the tight end one. Darno Money Malachi Fields.
26:38God, maybe Darius Sllayton could finally do something and make me a little bit less broke because I keep drafting that guy way too much in the final round of
26:45fantasy drafts. But again, I know his tears called at least one red flag.
26:50There's probably more that I just named with Jackson Dart, more so his offensive environment here, but I do think everything can he can do off script.
26:57Very, very promising rookie season, particularly given the environment, his coach getting fired halfway through the year and all that. And again, just that
27:04one trump card that we know to be more true than anything else in fantasy land.
27:08That sky-high rushing upside, Jackson Dart, my QB12, but I'm probably not going to be getting much of them because right now, guys, all across the injur
27:15industry, he's going inside the top eight. So, always say it, don't hate the player, hate the ADP. Right now, I do
27:20indeed hate Jackson Dart's ADP. QB13 Patrick Mahomes.
27:27QB13 Patrick Mahomes. That is such a wild thing to be saying out loud, but you know, it's what he was in 2023. It's
27:33what he was in 2024. In 2025, he was much better. He actually averaged north of 20 fantasy points per game. First
27:40time since 2022. The problem, guys, is he did almost all of that on the ground.
27:46All right, when you actually divide up his fantasy points per game and you look at 2023 to 2025, all right, these are
27:52the kind of post awesome Mahomes counting number years. In 2023, he had 15.1 fantasy points per game from passing and then he was at 15 and then
28:00even last year still at 15. It's the rushing. He went from 2.4 to 2.7 to 5.2 last season. Easily a career-high mark.
28:08He had never had more than 3.5 fantasy points per game from rushing in his career all the way up to 5.2 last
28:14season, which again only a 1.7 point difference, but that adds up over the course of 17 games. And that's what we
28:20did see from Mr. Mahomes last year. I just don't expect to continue coming off the torn ACL and he is going to be
28:26another year older. So look, Mahomes, you can argue maybe he shouldn't be given the benefit of the doubt as the best quarterback alive. Yeah, good luck
28:35ranking, you know, more than three or four guys ahead of him at this point.
28:38But still obviously awesome. He can move around with the best of him or at least he could before that injury. I just look
28:43at the rest of the offense and it's like I'm not convinced that Eric Benemy returning home is simply going to turn
28:48this, you know, stale low adop passing game into their pass explosive self. He did a good job in 2022. We do have that
28:54one year without Tyreek Hill where everything was still grooving. Eric Benemy was here for that, but he goes to Washington, then he goes to UCLA. Both
29:00those offenses sucked. Maybe I'm wrong.
29:03I just I'm that's not selling me. When we look at the Jimmies and Joe's involved and Travis Kelce is another year older, we got Rasheed Rice for now
29:10out of prison, but coming back from a knee injury, not exactly offering the most diverse route tree. I'd like to think Xavier Worley is going to take a
29:17better step forward when he's not playing through a broken collar bone after his third snap of the season.
29:21still remains to be seen. And I have made highlight videos of Taekquin Thornton. I respect that dude's game. I just wish that our number three and
29:29primary field stretching pass game option was Taekquin Thornton. You know what I'm saying? So, no team could use Stefon Diggs more than the Kansas City
29:36Chiefs right now. I would be more willing to take a chance on Patrick Mahomes at his cheapest price ever if we
29:41can get another, you know, fantasy just relevant wide receiver there. But it is one of these things, guys. I was talking
29:47to Jagger May, another Rotoire fantasy analyst over here. appreciate my guy Jagger. And every year, and we'll probably do this in a month or so, I
29:54like to highlight guys who I'm fading, but it terrifies me. All right, maybe this is the year we go 100% hit rate on
30:00the fantasy ranks. Probably not. Uh, with the fades though, it's like, yeah, sometimes I'm fading the guy. I remember last year example of one win I had in
30:08that last year. I was fading TJ Hawinson. It didn't scare me. I was like, all right, whatever. But my god, I
30:14was fading who was it? I think it was 2024 was first year. I was fading Lamar Jackson. That terrified me and it should
30:20have. It was a horrible idea. All right.
30:22Fading Patrick Mahomes at his lowest price terrifies me, but I do get it.
30:27QB13, QB 14, last one this tier is going to be Mr. Bon Knicks. QB8 and QB1 finishes to start his career. They added Jaylen
30:35Waddle. What's not to love? Ankle wasn't great. Fourth career ankle foot surgery.
30:41Shout out Dr. Jeff Mueller for kind of adding those up over time. I get the water alert. He's a sort of gravity
30:47field stretching lid lifter who should open up the underneath and inter intermediate areas of the field. Make it that much easier for everyone involved.
30:54And this offense needs it guys. Looking at passes thrown 30 plus yards in the air. Okay, so like deep balls, not even
31:01just kind of those digs over the linebackers, but like deep balls 30 plus yards downfield. 17.9% catch rate for the Broncos over these past two years.
31:10Second worst mark in the NFL. I think only the Giants were worse. Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims, just cannot find the chemistry. Mims a couple times. I
31:18remember the, you know, bomb against the Bengals. Nicks has a big arm. I'm not blaming Bo Knicks here necessarily, but the deep ball hasn't been there. And
31:24when Jaylen Wald comes in, I can see how that would open it up. But, man, we've gotten a lot of production on the ground
31:30from Knicks. I do think it's reasonable to at least be skeptical if that's going to keep coming after this ankle surgery.
31:35And it's just been so inconsistent, guys. I I really want stats to match what I'm seeing with my eyes and I'll
31:42push back when it's not the case. All right. At the same time, when stats are telling you this guy's not very good, we
31:49should be paying attention. I'm not saying Bix isn't a good quarterback.
31:53That Packers game at the end of last year, my god, if he figures that out and can just start playing like that every
31:58week, look out people. Beat Josh Allen in the playoffs. That freaking dime to Mims at the end of regulation. Beautiful throw. Bonex is very talented.
32:09All that said, here are the quarterbacks averaging under 6.5 yards per attempt over the past two seasons. Jacobe Brassette, Joe Flacco, Bryce Young, Cam
32:18Ward, Bon Knicks. It's not a great group. It's not a great group to bring in. I don't like that he leads the NFL
32:25in pass last year and still couldn't clear 4,000 yards. His ADOT isn't crazy, but it's not it's not crazy high or
32:31crazy low. Bon Knicks is a very confounding one. I can see him finishing QB6 and going, "Oh my god, why don't I
32:38just trust the guy?" I can see him going QB 16 and saying, "Yeah, that makes sense as well." Next tier, tier five
32:45primar pocket passers, Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff, who backed down some smaller tiers here. Look, these guys, and this is one thing that kind of annoys me
32:53about some other people in the industry of being in the fantasy advice industry, I should say, pocket passer, he doesn't have enough upside. everyone just does
33:01upside around without actually kind of explaining more so what they're talking about with it because when you look at it Stafford and Jared Goff guys they're
33:08tied for having the fifth most top five fantasy se fantasy weekly finishes at the position over the course of these past two seasons like again Goff and
33:16Stafford are tied with Patrick Mahomes with Baker Mayfield with Caleb Williams and that's that the only guys with more I think it's like Joe Burrow Lamar
33:23Jackson Jaylen Herz and again another dual threat dude so really has been impressive in Stafford's case we do have to worry about the passing touchdown
33:30regression. Okay, all 23 quarterbacks that post a touchdown rate of at least 7% did see their mark fall the following season, sometimes drastically. You look
33:39at Stafford's, you know, touchdown rates over the course of his career, and it's uh that DJ Khaled song. It's slowly up,
33:44down, up, down, up, down every single time. But just because something is going to regress doesn't mean it's going to go from 7.5% to 3%. Okay? We do have
33:52to keep in mind better offenses, better quarterbacks typically don't have as large of drop offs. And that's what we're looking at here in the Rams
33:58offense. Fully expected to keep on keeping on as one of the best units in the league. So that is another thing I
34:03try to look at in the offseason because it's July. Everyone's optimistic.
34:07Everyone should be optimistic. Man, we've had to go through so many months of no football. Why would you not look at your draft and your free agency and
34:14your new coaches through again those rosecolored glasses? So I do like to try to use the Vegas implied team totals to
34:21hold oursel accountable. So instead of saying, "Oh, I really like this offensive's breakout potential." It's like, "All right, that's cool. How would
34:28you actually rank them one through 32?"
34:30Vegas obviously has millions and millions and billions of reasons to try to be very accurate of what they are putting out. So we can actually go ahead
34:36and take their individual game over unders, get the team total from that, and see who Vegas expects to be the best
34:42offenses and the worst offenses in the NFL during the course of any given preseason. With all that said, top five implied offenses per the fine folks in
34:51the desert going into 2026. Number one's the Lions, two's the Bengals, three is the Ravens seems a little high for me.
34:57Whatever. Four is the Rams and five is the Cowboys. So again, Rams, even with the potential regression, still very much expecting to be awesome. And with
35:04Stafford, man, like he just finished as a QB3 last season and we can get him as more of this, you know, mid-tier QB2 on
35:10certain websites. That is something I am down for there. So again, my QB 15. And I'm not going to be chasing him up in
35:16the top 10. I think he is going that high at ESPN. So miss me with that. But we got Puka, we got Devonte Adams. We
35:22obviously have Shawn McVey being the orchestrator of this offense that has been so good the entire time he's been there. Still not going to exactly count
35:29out Matthew Stafford keeping on keeping on. And a similar sentiment is true of Jared Goff, guys. Three straight seasons with at least 4,500 passing yards. The
35:37rest of the NFL is six combined. Like it has been such a struggle to find quarterbacks even clearing 4,000 yards in recent years. Jared Goff, Sam Darnold
35:45these last two years. The only guys to do it back to back. What a time to be alive. I'm going to have a video out,
35:51another one on quarterbacks this week.
35:53So I don't want to spoil too much about Jared Goff, but oh my god, I think he's the late round quarterback of 2026. I
35:59didn't expect him to be because I just kind of figured he'd be going with guys like Dak and Stafford. But no, guys,
36:04Jared Goff right now is going outside the top 150 picks on ESPN. Five and a half rounds later than guys like Matthew
36:12Stafford and Dak Prescott. He's also outside the top 120 on Sleeper. Like that was kind of the main parameters I did. I wanted quarterbacks that you
36:19could get on Sleeper and ESPN round 11 or later. And Jared Goff is somehow, you know, fitting in there. So smarter
36:26football minds than myself. I shout out Nate Ty before. I'll do it again. I'll probably do it again later because that
36:31dude's awesome. But Ben Solic as well over ESPN. Always love reading his stuff. They're very optimistic on the Drew Petting collaboration with Dan
36:39Campbell in Detroit and everything Jared Goff can do there. AND WHY NOT GUYS?
36:42Like we saw him get a lot Brassette last season and even without Ben Johnson last year, Jared Goff was still able to put
36:48up very good counting numbers in his own right. So love me some Jericho golf at his price because that's the other
36:54thing. All right, we have these tiers and just at overall I don't even disagree with Jared Goff being the QB15, QB16, that's where I have them ranked,
37:02but outside the top 150 players with similar archetype guys going so many rounds earlier really is crazy to me.
37:08The one problem, all right, and I'm not a huge slave to preseason schedules, but we do have the Lions week 17 in Chicago.
37:16We all saw golf in Philly last year.
37:19Outdoor games, particularly when it gets cold, can be a problem here. We will need to find another quarterback for Championship Sunday in all likelihood.
37:26But in the meantime, we got to get there. I think Jared Goff can help with that.
37:31Run Forest Run tier number six breaking them down over here. Team Roto Wire. I got Kyler Murray and Malik Willis because they run the football and it
37:41freaking works. All right, one more time. 26 of 28 quarterbacks with 100 plus rush attempts in the last decade.
37:47Finished as a top 12 quarterback in fantasy points per game. And for the first time in a long time, guys, we can
37:52actually draft Kyler Murray and Malik Willis as late round dual threat quarterbacks. For so many years, we've been attuned to this. All right, the
38:00Justin Fields of the world. Even when the bad Jets offense last year, we saw the usually chase up inside the position's top 12 because we all
38:07understood this reality. Now it's like Malik Willis is going next to guys in drafts like Cooper Cup, Jawan Jennings, and Brilan Allen. dudes that are never
38:16going to start for you anyway. But if you draft Malik Willis, you might freaking have yourself a QB1, probably of the ugly variety, but again, we don't
38:24get extra points for style points. Why not go ahead and take your chance with it? I do have Kyler Murray higher. I'll
38:31say this about Kyler, and this is what's very interesting. The difference in season long ranks, preseason season long ranks versus where we're going to be
38:38ranking these guys in week one, nobody's going to have a bigger bump up the ranks than Kyler Murray. I would not be
38:43surprised at all if we were having him as a top 12 quarterback in week one, but you can honestly buy his QB 17 or so
38:49across the industry as things go right now. The concern is that he wasn't very good last year and maybe KOC in the new
38:55new and improved very improved offensive environment helps with that, but it's not a given. And Kyler Kyler being mid for five games is going to be a lot more
39:03problematic than Malik Willis and a lot pretty much every other quarterback we've talked about. Kyler being mid for a team where KOC is maybe starting to
39:09feel a little bit that hot seat and he's got JJ McCarthy waiting in the wings who I know isn't good. We've saw that last
39:16year. But there's a better chance that Kyler gets benched for his backup than pretty much anyone we've talked about.
39:22That's why I can't go too high with him in our season long ranks. But you know what? when we're able to draft a dude in
39:27round 13. Like, I love the idea in drafts this year, getting a quality tight end at some point, getting five or
39:34six running backs and wide receivers, and then turning my attention to these late round quarterbacks, getting Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield, the boomer
39:41Sooner late round quarterback strategy, getting Malik Willis, you know, Jared Goff. Like, at this point, I would say after the after tier four, Dart Mahomes and
39:51Knicks, at a minimum, I probably still would take two there. I would say after tier three, I'm looking to get two
39:58quarterbacks. And I just think pairing Jared Goff who's going to give you such a good floor. And I think an underrated
40:02ceiling with someone like Kyler, with someone like Malik Willis makes so much sense. And even if you miss out on golf,
40:08I do think guys like Baker, Jordan Love, Tyler Shuck, who we have seen provide QB1 numbers for stretches really can be
40:14a super viable strategy in the year 2026. So all in team late round QB this year. I do think Kyle Murray and Malik
40:21Willis are big parts of that. Last thing with Malik Willis, guys, shouldn't discount all the good things he did as a
40:27passer in Green Bay. Okay, in 2024 when he had to kind of step in for Jordan Love, a lot of it was heavy RPO play
40:33action. Matt Laflur just kind of, you know, putting his dick on the table and saying, "Look how good I am as a
40:38schemer." 2025 though, I feel like they took the training wheels off. We saw his average target def go up in a major way.
40:44And just even watching those games, you know, few and far between, but the Bears, the Ravens, like we were seeing dimes over the middle, dimes down the
40:51sideline to Romeo Dobs, to Christian Watson. And you add it all together, guys. Small sample size be damned over the course of these past two seasons.
41:00Malik Willis number one EPA per drop back, number one completion percentage over expected. And man, he can also run the football. So that's what we really
41:07care about in fantasy land. Look, those same Vegas rankings I was talking about before, they have the Dolphins 29th.
41:13That seems generous. All right, there is a downside here, but the upside is the usual top 12 heights we've seen from
41:20players of this archetype. And again, at this price, who am I to complain about it? Tier 7, we've seen QB1 upside before
41:28here. All right, Jordan Love, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Tyler Shuck, and CJ Strad. That is QB18 through QB23. And again, at each step of the way, we have
41:38seen these guys put it together over the course of a season. in Tyler Shook's case half a season and actually provide
41:43his top 12 numbers. So Jordan Loves was back in 2023. I do believe in Matt Laflur. I like the offensive weapons as
41:50a whole. Vegas ranks his team eighth in scoring. He was one of my toughest guys not to highlight as a premier late round
41:56quarterback option, but I do struggle to get my mind around him having this boom on the ground. Matt Lafleur has usually
42:02deployed more of a run first offense since having Aaron Rogers there. If we do see Josh Jacobs suspended, that could change things in a hurry. But for right
42:09now, Jordan Love, more of a, you know, again, later round quarterback who I think could finish QB1, QB12. We wouldn't be surprised, but I am
42:17skeptical kind of the top true top five heights, which, you know, we are big game hunting after all. Baker Mayfield I
42:24do think offers probably a little bit higher of a ceiling because we saw that QB4 mark as recently as the 2024 season.
42:31unironically getting MVP chance not you TZ Johnson it was Baker before one injury after another guys it wasn't just a shoulder my god it was like that you
42:41know Spongebob fish is just as you know rap literally head to toe and tape but Baker's a tough dude so he kept on
42:46keeping on and got out there so you do look at the numbers man Baker and Joe Burrow these last three seasons you know
42:53down to up to down again yes we went over it burl had the injuries going on but so did Baker last year not getting
42:59the same benefit of the doubt uh Going back to the Mc Shanahan tree as well, Zack Robinson in from Atlanta helping
43:04out the Buccaneers. I would not put Zack Robinson in the same tier as some of those other great assistants from the
43:10Shawn McVey and Kyle Shanahan trees or anything like that. Don't get me wrong, but there is a picture you can paint of
43:16success for Baker Mayfield. Now, I don't love replacing Mike Evans with, you know, Ted Hurst with all due respect to all the Ted Hurst super fans out there.
43:24Uh, but I do think Baker Mayfield has a shot to again at least provide something a bit closer to 2024, even if I would be
43:31surprised if he gets that high up in the ranks. Sam Darnold, similar sentiment that Vikings year, guys. Again, a top 10
43:37quarterback and we have seen him. I threw this in earlier, but only Sam Darnold and Jared Goff have posted, you know, 4,000 plus passing yards in each
43:44of the past two seasons. Super Bowl champion Sam Darnold. Another crazy thing I didn't exactly ever think would be coming out of my mouth. But look, all
43:53the efficiency stats says he's been awesome because he has been awesome. But we are losing Clint Kubak. It is going to be a little bit of a tougher
43:58schedule. Also need to consider that at this point in Darnold's career. Not going to be running around the same way.
44:03So maybe it is Drake Mayesque where the tougher schedule and just some more competitive games is going to lead to Darnold actually being asked to do a
44:11little bit more. No more Kenneth Walker, Zack Charbanet is going to be sideline.
44:15Like there is a scenario where we look up and it's like Darnold's slinging the football around this year. But I do
44:20wonder if that excess volume could actually bring out, you know, the previously foreseen slightly worse version. So again, volume base, I
44:27struggle to see the top five ceiling similar to Jordan Love, but awesome player and at this point, you know, it's kind of crazy to still smirk him over
44:35pretty much anything. Tyler Shuck, my QB2, very, very popular late round quarterback. I just can't quite get there as much as these other guys,
44:43right? If I had to kind of rank again my top late round quarterbacks, not to spoil my other video, please watch that
44:48one too, guys. But going outside the top 120 picks on Sleeper and ESPN, I like Jared Goff a lot. I like Kylo Murray and
44:55Malik Willis thanks to that rushing upside. I like Baker Mayfield, too, just because I think what we've seen him do in this offense. Only one year move from
45:0320 plus fantasy points per game. Very impressive. But Tyler Shuck after those guys probably would be the next preferred target. So QB12 and fantasy
45:10points per game after taking over in week nine. the schedule. Gotta bring that up. Panthers twice, Falcons twice.
45:16Falcons have a good secondary though.
45:18Jesse Bates and uh Watts, you know, arguably the best safety duo in the league. Dolphins, Bucks, Jets, and Titans. And I do just, man, if there was
45:26going to be a quarterback to come out of the gate and play pretty well, but maybe not improve that much, wouldn't it be
45:30the guy who's already going to be, you know, 27 by the time October is going to be ending over here? So, I love Jordan
45:37Tyson, my pre-draft wide wide receiver one. That's pretty much the main difference that we're looking for here.
45:44So, year two in a system, but it's an older quarterback. Again, Tyler Shuck for me getting the QB12 end of season at
45:52a QB20 value. That's awesome. You can work with that. But if we are looking for again the guys that can give us that
45:57top five upside, I struggle to see it quite as much with Tyler Shuck. And last guy in this tier, similar sentiment with
46:03CJ Stra.
46:05Awful, awful, awful playoffs. I believe he had 10 combined fumbles and interceptions in those two playoff games. That's how many he had in the
46:12entire regular season combined as well though, guys. So, it matters in real life conversations. I think a little bit less so in fantasy and particularly when
46:21we can look at the regular season numbers and see that Straoud actually was playing a lot closer to 2023 than that down 2024. So, obviously having a
46:29full season of healthy Nico Collins would go a long way. Also should be getting Tank Dell back. Hopefully, he is back to his usual game-breaking ways
46:36following that horrific uh and catastrophic leg injury. But CJ Stra kind of like Love where I think we saw some nice rushing upside that we maybe
46:44didn't know was there in 2023. I'm a little bit dubious we ever see him fully get back to that. Also, unlike Love, I
46:50will say though, uh Vegas has the Texans as 19th in scoring. This is the tough one. Like again, Jordan Love, I could
46:57that's why he's at the top of the tier to be fair. Like that's why we kind of have him going out. I'm just more
47:01confident the Packers ripping off a top 10 scoring season. A little bit tougher for the Texans for good reason. You got
47:07that defense. You brought in Dave Montgomery. Maybe the offensive line will actually be def decent for once, but more lowscoring rock fights, more
47:14just ball control. We're up a couple scores, you know. Don't worry about it, CJ. Just hand the ball off sort of games
47:19out of Houston.
47:21QB8 tier. This is the point where all right we're talking about superflex QB3s baseball QB3 plus like please for the love of God do not be starting any of
47:30these guys when week one rolls around but QB 24 Bryce Young QB25 Daniel Jones QB26 Cam Ward and QB27
47:40Aaron Rodgers. So yeah, should start 17 games. That's about all I can say of this group. So Bryce Young, I see the
47:48alert. All right, if you guys don't check out my Twitter, I heard I put out some of his best plays from this last
47:52season and a mini highlight reel at his best. Beautiful BEA beautiful deep ball accuracy. He's got, you know, what was that? Chris Foli. Prestige level
48:02magicianry in the pocket. Like he can he's elusive out there. He got makes guys miss. He can scoot a little bit.
48:08Had a nice rushing touchdown against the Rams in the playoffs and everything.
48:11It's just one of those things where again similar to Bon Knicks, they're NFL quarterbacks, guys. Of course, we can put together two to three minutes of
48:18them looking really good out there. All right. Bryce was number one overall pick.
48:23Of course, he's a really good player, but if you're not a top 20 real life quarterback in our world, you suck.
48:29You're objectively below average. You don't suck, but you know what I'm saying. Every single number we care about other than deep ball related
48:36metrics tells us Bryce Young has been a bad quarterback. Vegas has the Panthers 27th in scoring. He's barely clearing 3,000 passing yards. He's never averaged
48:4414 fantasy points per game. would love to be proven wrong. This is a make orb breakak year for Bryce. You know, you
48:48could argue more than almost any other quarterback in the league. I'm not trying to f around and find out what he's going to be like in fantasy land.
48:55Daniel Jones, incredible numbers. Top eight, nine weeks of last season. You want me to bet on that? Persisting following a torn Achilles on his right
49:04leg. Not a doctor, guys. Contrary to popular belief, but think about it. You know, you're throwing right-handed like Daniel Jones is. You're pushing off your
49:12power leg. That's your right leg. That's what happened to Kurt Cousins. We're going to have nobody to blame but ourselves but the man, the mayor. If we
49:18see Daniel Jones working out a fraction of his mobility as early as week one in an offense that lost Michael Pitman that
49:24brought back Alec Pierce. That's great.
49:25He's recovering from offseason ankle surgery and he should be considered at least somewhat questionable for the early person early portion of the
49:32season. Vegas has the Colts 16th in scoring. If I had to predict one of those kind of middle teams that could
49:37crater, I do think it would be the Colts. Cam Ward, two minutes of highlights are gonna be up there with anyone in the league. This dude made two
49:45or three plays last season that I'm sure most of you didn't see because why would you spend your life watching Titans
49:49games? I get it. I am enough of a loser to be doing so. But it's just that thing again, man. We're like, how do I balance
49:55the fact that this dude can make absurd throws that you can avoid pressure at a very high level with the fact that every
50:03stat tells us that he is not a good quarterback. He was not a good quarterback in year one. Rookies are allowed to get better. I fully get it.
50:10But man, Juan Delale Robinson, Carnell Tate, thank you guys for improving the offense. Are we still where are we ranking that wide receiver core relative
50:17to the rest of league? Like 21-year-old Carnell Tate, Juan Dale, old man Calvin Ridley still there. It's still going to be closer to 32 than one. And that's why
50:25again I like trying to use the Vegas scoring thing here as like a keeping us honest sort of measure because they have
50:31improved. It's good. Vegas still has the Titans ranked 26th in scoring ahead of next season. So, they're taking the right steps. I think they're a year away
50:39from maybe being a year away at this point. I just don't overly believe in Brian Dable either. We saw what Daniel
50:45Jones did the second he got away from this dude. I feel like the one button that Dable knows how to push is having
50:50Josh Allen and Jackson Dart run around.
50:51Kudos to those guys for making it happen. I'm very skeptical about him having a bunch of success in Tennessee.
50:57And then finally, Aaron Rogers. I mean, just look at him. He's old. Just gets the ball out of his hands as fast as
51:02possible at this point. Probably the most talented quarterback I've ever had the privilege of watching. a 33year-old, you know, just dude from Columbus, Ohio.
51:10So, God, Prime Rogers incredible, but going to be 43 by the end of the season.
51:14Again, should start 17 games and everything like that. Can talk about him being okay enough for some of the involved pass catchers, but Aaron Rogers
51:21himself, I am good in Fantasy Land. And then finally, guys, I'm not going to go through every single quarterback in the
51:25last tier, but you can imagine what it'd be like if they hit, but they probably won't. I got Gino Smith QB28, Jacobe
51:31Brassette, QB29, followed by Fernando Mendoza, two OTAO Deshawn Watson, Shador Sanders, Michael Penn, JJ McCarthy, and Kurt Cousins. So, Gino Smith should be
51:40an upgrade of what we saw last year.
51:41That bar is not high. I know it's only been a few years since we've seen him play football at a good level as well,
51:47but really don't like these off the- field legal issues we got scrolling around right now. It is the Jets. I kind
51:52of like the skeleton of the offense, the two highly drafted tackles, Garrett Wilson, Ad Mitchell, Omar Cooper, Kenyan Sadique, Bruce Hall. You got some
52:00weapons there. But man, 36-year-old journeyman QB who we've only seen play at a high level for basically two years out out of his career. Just led the NFL
52:09in sacks and interceptions. I'm I'm good on Gino. Especially when considering like if you are more of a baseball sort of mindset where you like need these
52:18guys to hopefully be playing at a high level during the playoffs when it's time to make some money. I just don't see the
52:23Jets being good enough to actually have Gino out there. I do think we'll see Kate Clubnik at some point. Same reason
52:28why Jacobe Brassette this low. He was the QB8 in fantasy points per game after taking over in week six last season. I
52:34just worry that unlike last season, he's not going to have the same sort of leash. We see the Cardinals start off
52:38one and five. Could be way worse, guys.
52:40Their schedule is horrific. uh when you actually look at it a little bit more closely. I just think that we're going
52:45to see Gardenner Mincchu and Carson Beck also start games. Not to be too excited about Jacobe. I'd love to be wrong on
52:50Mendoza and they actually just go ahead and put him out there sooner rather than later. But just everything we've heard from really all levels or of the
52:56organization has me dubious about that.
52:59Trying to project when he's going to be out there though. I'm going with week six. That's what I'm going to be on the
53:04record with. All right. They got the Dolphins week one. Let's say Kurt Cousins and company. They get the W there at the Chargers, at the Saints
53:11verse the Chiefs, at the Patriots.
53:14They're going to be underdogs in all those games. Saints one could be close to a pick, but I bet they'll still be
53:18underdogs. Tom Brady's going to watch his Raiders get absolutely blown out in Foxboro. Kurt Cousins going to be getting slammed all over social media.
53:28They got the Bills and the Rams in week six and week seven. That's not great. I get it. But it's the NFL. At some point,
53:34you got to rip the Bandit off. You got to drop them to the deep end. Why not do with two home games? They could wait
53:39until week eight at the Jets. I just think they'd like to do it at home.
53:43They'll have a full week after that Patriots game. Week six for Fernando Mendoza. I just don't think he runs enough. I've seen the freaking I'm an
53:50Ohio State fan, right? I I watch this dude plenty and just a college ball fan in general. I've seen those freaking
53:56amazing scramble against Miami. He had a nice one against UCLA earlier in the year, a couple against Iowa. He can move. I'm just not expecting the 400
54:03500, you know, level rushing yards that really can overcome what's still probably not going to be a great offensive situation. Jaylen Naylor and
54:10Trey Tucker, top two wide receivers.
54:13Maybe the bull case for Mendoza is he does like a better version of Tyler Shuck impression. All right, because we all think Mendoza is going to be better
54:20than Tyler Shuck. Obviously, Brock Bowers can kind of be like Chris Ave.
54:24Clint Kubak running this offense. We like that. That's the bull case. And maybe I'm not giving enough credit to that possibility in these kind of later
54:30tier ranks because Mendoza will be someone that's out there. So I would actually probably move Mendoza ahead of Jacobe and Gino doing it again.
54:39But again, at this point in time, guys, let's try to be relying on a different quarterback to attack Vioa top four
54:45quarterback EPA per drop back 2022 2024 30th last season. I just don't know how this dude stresses defenses. been a while since we've seen Kevin Stfansky
54:55really be a schematic wizard and I do wonder how much of that was just like hey give prime Nick Chub the rock and
55:00watch good things happen. I'm just this this Falcons offense guys kind of worries me a little bit. Michael Penn obviously coming off another knee
55:07injury. I just you know I believe in the idea where it's like hey Raiders have two top 15 top 20 fantasy picks and
55:13Brock Bars and Jenty like that's asking a lot out of a bad offense. Bean Drake London not too different. So volume
55:20should be there for both. I'm not going to go in that whole ordeal, but I just I worry about the floor of this overall
55:25Falcons offense. I think Tua will have a chance to start probably a lot of the season. I just think he's going to be
55:30the more consistent guy who's going to be able to bring the fans playbook and, you know, those drawings kind of into
55:35real life more so than Penn, but not loving that uh situation. Way more, you know, Muhammad verse Mcloven than I would prefer. That's before we even get
55:43to the Browns quarterback room. I do think Deshawn Watson starts the year, Shador Sanders finishes and maybe starts more games accordingly. So if you want
55:50to move s Shadore over Deshawn, go for it. Did think, you know, that Titans game was a nice performance from Shadore. Hit some deep balls against the
55:56Raiders as well. Still, we can pick out the 10 fun plays. Every freaking stat tells us the guy's been horrible. Same
56:05thing with Deshun Watson, who's still somehow, guys, this is one of the crazier stats I dug up kind of writing out these QB tiers. Even despite this
56:11horrible, I think 1920 games that Deshan has had in Cleveland, the dude is still the QB4 all time in fantasy points per
56:17game in the Super Bowl era. That's how high he was soaring, you know, when he was still with the Houston Texans.
56:22Unfortunately, this has not been the same guy since. I don't think he's going to be improving physically here, multiple years older and following not
56:29one but two Achilles ruptures. Reminder, he again was rehabbing the damn thing and tore again miss his latest, you know, departure. JJ McCarthy, I will say
56:38one nice thing about JJ McCarthy, he did improve as last year went on. The problem is when you look at those games,
56:43it's like he played well against the Cowboys. Well, yeah, so did everyone. He played well against the Commanders. That was like the only other defense as bad
56:49as the Cowboys at defending the past and then he did pretty well at the end of the year against the Packers backups in
56:55week 18. Again, I do think he'll have a chance of Kyler struggles, but just tough to be overly excited about his
57:00personal fantasy upside. And then finally, Kirk Cousins, 38 in August.
57:04Just don't think he has the physical tools at this point to play a position at a high level. I think it's Mendoza by
57:09week six. But guys, that's going to do it for me. So, so excited to be turning out some fantasy football content for
57:15you guys. gonna be working with my buddies Theo and Jagger as well. So, make sure you give them the whole RotoWire fantasy football family a
57:22follow. If you like the video, then please like the video. Hitting that subscribe button will help me out as well. So, again, I'll be back with late
57:27round QB targets. Also talking to the great Lord Reeves this week. Got a lot of fun stuff on the way. So, appreciate
57:34you tuning in. It has been a great day to be great. And until next time, take care everybody.
