0:00What is up everybody? It is a great day to draft for $1 million over in these FFPC streets. It is big gorilla season.
0:07It's the Roto Wire gang gang. Ian Hard and Steel Greager hanging out. First draft together. Steel. I'm pumped, man.
0:13Let's win some money.
0:14>> There are two flexes in this one. So, you can build your team out a number of different ways. And we're drafting from
0:19the 110 today. Ian, that's like your favorite place to be on the board right now.
0:24>> It is nice. I was getting a little cocky in my head thinking Mr. Brock Bowers could fall to us, but not today. Satan,
0:30that's all right, though, man. We're going to have plenty of opportunities to scoop up some tight ends later. I believe you threw one out there. He went
0:35101 in one of these not that long ago.
0:38>> Bowers went at the 101. Um, yeah, this has been pretty chalky. We're we're one pick away here. Uh, the only thing like
0:46Chase you Chase usually goes ahead of of Nua. That's really the only like unhockeyy thing about this draft. So, I'm open-minded to who you want to go
0:54with here. Uh, Genty, James Cook, you want to go wide receiver or if I think some of the other running backs you
1:01like, Ian will be there at the 203.
1:03>> That's kind of what I'm thinking. How about get some Jay Jetts here?
1:06>> I'm down I'm down with going wide receiver here and then I think we we'll have a running back we like at the 203.
1:11So, I'm I'm Jefferson. I took Jefferson yesterday at the 112 and uh another draft. I think he's bouncing back in a
1:16big way. Let's go Justin freaking Jefferson starting off. As Steel did mention, it's only two wide receivers here, right? I know that's one thing
1:23that I regularly have to really be aware of when we're in these all these best ball streaks throughout the summer and
1:27you are starting three tends to be more of a run early. We don't necessarily need to be going down that road over
1:32here though. So, James Cook after that open-minded to multiple running backs here. I I I think that Hampton's interesting, Chase Brown's interesting,
1:42Saquon's interesting, and then Kenneth Walker. I think by the time we get to the end of August, I think Walker might
1:48leaprog some of these guys just because of the steam. Walker and Saquon are pretty interesting. I'd be down to go between one of those guys. Man, I just
1:56come back to the fact that this time last year it was near consensus for good reason that Saquon was the best running
2:00back on planet Earth. Now we can get him early round two.
2:03>> If I know you have true conviction and this is your draft, Ian, I'm I'm I'm joining you. So, let's go with let's go
2:09with your guy Saquon Barkley here at the 203.
2:13>> Saquon Barkley, come on down.
2:14>> So, I think we got to be be open-minded.
2:15Tyler Warren, Ian, if you want him, I think it's this range. Um, Malik Neighbors goes, "I I think there's also some incredible wide receiver values
2:24here."
2:25>> Yeah.
2:27>> Lad Z Flowers.
2:29>> Yeah. Um, Warren, I think Zay, if you want him, we take him here. Um, Warren, >> I feel pretty confident that we can get
2:36one of these sick wide receivers coming back. Maybe it's not the exact one we want, but after Warren, let's face it,
2:41we're starting to get into not bad territory, but it is a tear break after Warren.
2:45>> Wadd will be there at the 403. Warren gives us again the ability that we don't have to chase other tight ends and I
2:52think he could be like a Trey McBride 2025 light type runout where he gets 140 targets. So I'm I'm I think Warren or
3:00Flowers makes sense. Um your call on this one and then we can we can roll it back at the 403.
3:06>> Let's go with Tyler Warren and pure tight end premium. I just don't want to get cued. It's like being in a superflex
3:11draft. It's all fun and games waiting on quarterback until you actually look at what you're dealing out there with the projections. Lad Maki versus Waddle is
3:17my biggest question here. I do have Waddle right tired.
3:20>> I have I like Wadd a little bit more as well. Um I'm I mean I think like Lad McMillan these guys are interesting. I
3:29think Josh Jacobs is interesting. It's similar bet to to Kairen and I think he might just avoid everything. I took him
3:36in the fourth round of FFBC.
3:38>> Okay. So I it's for me I I think Waddle is the biggest edge pick here, but Kirn structurally gives us something pretty
3:46interesting. I think Kairen's like perfectly fine and we would have a nice a nice roll out here. I lean Waddle, but
3:52if you want to if you want to lean into like the safety of running back, I do think there'll be somebody decent at the
3:58510 an option and then I think there'll also be a couple potential guys at 603.
4:03I lean waddle here, Ian, but if you want to go Kairen, it's not a bad start.
4:09We're going Jaylen Waddle. Let's lock it down. I do think >> having that anchor in Saquon, >> we're gonna figure out the RB2 through
4:17the aggregate. We're going to moneyball it, man. All right. We have all these muddle committees. We got the Panthers, the Steelers, the Commanders, the
4:23Vikings, all these guys in the RB3, RB4 range that we're going to be tacking on at a point when we're feeling good about
4:28wide receiver, feeling good about tight end, and going late round quarterback and getting the handcuffs as well. So again, I admit in two wide receiver
4:36versus three wide receiver, that would be the argument for going with someone like Kron or Jacobs here structurally.
4:41But for me, man, flag plant, my guy, it's Jaylen Wadd and getting him at the early round four. Sign me up. I do love
4:48I love your thoughts on the wide receiver. I am happily happy.
4:52>> Okay. I think we I think I think I think we take him and I think if we have to play catch-up and be a hero RB build,
4:58then we're a hero RB build. I think we take the most dangerous player on the board here and I think we both like this
5:03player and 510 I think is a great value for him.
5:06>> Then come on down. Anyone want to guess?
5:09>> Tell us in the chat who are we taking I'm in no rush.
5:14>> Yeah, let's we Yeah, we we'll we'll we'll we'll have this uh milk this out.
5:18I mean, come on. Come on, guys. It's uh it's it's our guy Christian Watson.
5:23Let's take Christian Watson right here.
5:25>> Carnell Tate. I mean, you know, index, I appreciate you trying. Maybe. Who knows?
5:29>> I like I like Carnell I like Carnell Tay, too, but I think Watson's in a like a >> Could Could Christian Watson Could
5:34Christian Watson be >> Could Christian Watson be the 2026 version of 2024 Terry McLaren and end up with like 13 touchdown catches? I mean,
5:43I think he could.
5:44>> Hey, all the again amazing yards per hour run stuff Burden for for good reason. Make that list longer than three
5:51guys and you'll see Christian Watson pop out number four in his half season coming off the knee injury. So number one for Jordan Love in an offense we
5:58like. Sign me up for Christian Watson.
6:00>> I think your back I honestly I think I think your edge pick here is tight end or wide receiver. I'm going to throw out
6:07Harold Fannon Jr. here. I'm going to throw out Leaport. I'm going to throw out Pitts. Um if you have conviction on
6:12one of those guys, them in the flex in this format. And then if you want to go with another wide receiver, I'm not in
6:18love with taking Devonte Adams this year, but 603 feels like uh it 603 for Devonte Adams feels pretty good. Um
6:28considering his his touchdown upside. Uh I like those guys. And if you want to go a little deeper down in the wheats, I
6:34don't mind a little a little Parker Washington. If you have conviction on a tight end though, I think this is the
6:39edge. And you we could be done at the tight end position and have two of these exciting passcatching tight ends and one
6:45of them in the flex.
6:47>> More and more I'm just like what is the back case for Sam Leapora man >> back his back injury.
6:55>> Yeah, but he's off pup.
6:56>> Okay, so let's take him.
6:58>> That's fine.
6:58>> Boom.
6:59>> For me, we're we're one pick away. Um we're one pick away. And if that other player's on the board, it
7:07gives us kind of a Okay, so it's up to you here. The, you know, the idea being, do we take our running back here because
7:16team 12 has two running backs, team 11 has two running backs. I think one of them probably takes our guy before he
7:21comes back to us and we both like him, or do we push it and we take, you know, a potential edge pick, tight end, um,
7:29who also I think will be gone by the time we pick. So, it's who do you who do you feel is gives you a better chance to
7:34win a ton of money catching up structurally with an ambiguous backfield guy that we like or do you take a tight
7:41end who could average 17 points per game in FFPC? I think we take I think we I think we take >> I think you just
7:47>> I think we take white.
7:48>> I don't know. I think we just take him.
7:50I I worry about getting completely steamrolled here. Um >> let's not get too cute. Let's take a shot. Okay, we'll take him and we will,
7:58you know, it would have been really fun to go with a with a a KD pick here. Does he come back around? Probably not. I
8:04don't love love love George KD, but I think that George KD in the late seventh in a tight end premium format, you know,
8:13like we talked about Leaporta, you could roll out with a with a really fun lineup. It also opens up us up with
8:18correlation >> like we go another RB, right?
8:21>> Yeah, I think so. So, I I I I think I think uh for me, I I like I [snorts] like Gainwell um a little bit more here.
8:30I think uh I like your other guy, but I feel like he's a little bit more of like a straight up handcuff to start the year
8:37>> where >> you don't think that could be more 6040.
8:41>> Yeah, I mean it could. I like his touchdown upside just it's like the lack of pass catching. Um >> full PPR. I think that that you get a
8:48little bit of better at ADP value here with Gainwell for the contest too. Um where he's going ahead.
8:54>> I do just worry, man. Like even if something happens to Bucky, Gamewell, okay, it'll be nice. But if something happens to Kiren, we could be ranking
9:01Blake Cororum like RB6.
9:03>> Either either one here um is fine with me. If you have conviction on on Cororum, let's chase it. But I mean,
9:11it's splitting hairs for me. They're both fine picks. I I I don't mind exposure to either. I'm gonna throw some quorum.
9:17>> Yeah, let's go Cororum. That's your guy.
9:18>> If we if we hadn't have gotten Rashad White and we were just like, man, RB2, I need someone maybe I'm a little more
9:24sure of in PPR, I would give Gamewell the edge over Cororum in week one, week two. I just think again if if Ky All
9:34right, again playing that scenario, if every single RB1 goes down, I think the number one RB would be Trayvon Henderson. I think number two might be
9:41Blake Corm.
9:43>> 100%. I mean, I think Blake Cororum, we we'd be we'd be ranking in the top 10.
9:47Yeah. I I you never know who's if people are spying in here, so I feel like I it's probably better to just say the
9:54name.
9:55>> Okay. So So QJ So that's So that's gone.
9:59>> That's gone. Um so for for I the wide receiver that I have in here, it gives us a sort of double bet at the room. Um
10:07I like him. I think he's a fun pick. if you want to just get your preferred quarterback. Like I do think Justin
10:15Herbert sort of >> running back.
10:16>> Yeah, I like the running back too, but will the running back come back around?
10:19He's way he's pushed way down. Um he's pushed way down in ADP uh versus these other guys in terms of like where we've
10:27seen him go for a high. I think your edge pick here is either Herbert or the or the wide receiver. And I think one of
10:34the two running backs I put in the queue is good. And I think there's a chance that even if you don't like number four,
10:40it would give us at a shot at the whole back field.
10:44So I think it's Herbert or wide receiver here.
10:46>> Let's go with Herbert.
10:47>> Let's go Herbert. Yeah, let's take Herbert. End of round nine, Justin Herbert. Again, one of the biggest bets I want to make this fantasy football
10:54season is the Chargers offense being awesome. So I am happy to get a member of said Chargers offense. Still have a
11:00chance later. Trey Harris is out there.
11:02Ronda Gatson is out there.
11:03>> Okay, so let's take him. Let's take our guy. Let's take Katon Mitchell.
11:06>> Let's get Katon Mitchell, baby.
11:08>> All right, let's do it. Katon Mitchell.
11:09We get our running back for, >> you know, could he be uh a handcuff plus? And he's I think he's different
11:17than just a pure handcuff cuz >> I think he's the design touch guy. There was the there's the clip going around
11:25>> the wheel.
11:26>> Come on, man. Justin Herbert over the top. I mean, it's a beautiful beautiful sight to see with Katon Mitchell. Um, I
11:33I love I mean I can't stop drafting Katon Mitchell in baseball. I mean, it's almost like I gotta I gotta I gotta like
11:39scale it back a little bit. Um, he goes next to like Tyrone Tracy and an underdog and stuff. And I'm like, you
11:45know, maybe the guy that's had a thousand yards in consecutive seasons I should take ahead of Katon Mitchell every time, but then I'm like, man,
11:52Katon Mitchell fast guy in a Mike McDaniel offense. And any and you talked about this before, the the like custommade posters that Mike McD I mean,
12:02can you imagine being the dude at Kinko's and Mike McDaniel walks in and he's like, "Can you make a wanted poster
12:07with Alec Engold and a wanted poster with Katon Mitchell?" And the guy's like, "Are you for real?" And he's like, "Yes."
12:13>> Well, dude, I feel like it's that meme where we got the kind of the idiot, then the Jedi, and then the guy overthinking
12:18in the middle. And the guy in the middle is like, "Well, if something happens to Hampton, come on out. Take the early
12:23down work." And you know, we haven't really seen Mitchell sustain it and can he really be catching these passes and the Jedi and the Idiot are just like the
12:3043 freaking speedy running back is with Mike McDaniel and the Chargers, right?
12:35Like that could be freaking awesome. 80% of Devon guys is a lot of fantasy points.
12:39>> Uh we're about to we're about to pick and I think Casey Conpsion also like we've seen Z Flowers thrive um in under
12:46Monkin and Casey's got a similar outcome. Okay, so we're OTC here. I think I think we push we we pushed the
12:54button on one of these two wide receivers here. Uh Ian, I Tracy went he would have been the obvious running back
13:00pick. Uh I like I like both of these wide receivers here as a runout. Like could we get both of them at this
13:07turnout? Um >> who do you think we have a better chance of getting at the turn number three?
13:12>> Number three. And I think the fail safe would be we just lean into the correlation with our guy. Um, I like
13:19actually, you know what?
13:21>> I mean, I like three more than two because we have clarity on three and there's been some like positivity with
13:26him and I think he's a number two.
13:28>> Let's take him cuz we don't have the flexibility to just swing for it.
13:32>> Let's re Let's reach and take him here.
13:35>> Rashid Shahed.
13:37>> Yeah, everyone.
13:38>> I think this is where he he should I think he should be living in in the 11th round. Um, they like him. They traded
13:46for him. They signed him. Um, and when you look at that team, Ian, like you're doing these very detailed rankings and
13:55tears, like Shahed profiles as the number two target in that offense where I'm sitting, guys. Darnold and Golf, those are the only two quarterbacks I've
14:05thrown for 4,000 yards in each of these past two seasons. More and more, it's like, I know they were run first last
14:11year. I know they got this great defense, but when you remove the top two running backs from the equation, why not
14:15lean a little bit more on Sam Donald out here throw the ball around the yard?
14:19Yeah, Tory Horton's back. Yeah, Cooper Cup is still on the team. But man, loved everything about Shahed for honestly lesser versions of Saints offense, so
14:28why couldn't he get things going here in 2026? I was a little bit bummed that he didn't have more going the second half
14:34of last year given the familiarity with Clint Kubak and Tory Horton. So, I understand why he's this late, but Jaylen McMillan, Romeo Dobs, Denzel
14:43Boston, like even Shakur, man, I'm taking Shahid over those dudes every time.
14:47>> Yeah, I'm with you. I think that uh Shahed's a little bit underrated right now. We saw how he started out the year
14:52last year in New Orleans where he was like a usable player. Uh gets traded to Seattle and we were all hyped up and
14:58then it took him a little while to ramp up. Uh was great as on special teams, but I think it's sort of like rational
15:05coaching and the offseason. Okay, so we're we're we're one pick away here. Um >> okay.
15:13>> Yeah, they got sniped on that one. I have two running backs in the queue here.
15:16>> Um >> let's get our wide receiver. Yeah, >> let's take Yeah, let's take Diggs. I think Diggs is the is the the the player
15:23for me here.
15:24>> Um >> he really helps for this team. I think too given the fact that we did wait a little bit to get four and five because
15:30if and when like All right, Theo Dig signs with Washington, there's been a lot of smoke to that. I just don't
15:35really see the Brandon Auk thing playing. Maybe it does play out. Let's pretend like it doesn't for the sake of argument. Stefon Diggs is number two
15:41wide receiver on the Commanders. Round >> nine. Round nine. Yeah. Round eight. N.
15:47Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think like Dig, like we look at what Debo Samuel did in in that in that offense last year, like
15:53where he was what, 11 points per game in PPR. Um, Diggs was is a better player than Debo at this point in their
16:01careers. And uh I think like Diggs I don't think it's I had Zayn on and I thought Zayn made a really interesting
16:09point where Zayn's monitoring this situation a lot in Washington and I think it comes down to how much do they love Antonio Williams after like 10 days
16:20of training camp? Do they just pull the trigger on Diggs? But Diggs is training at the University of Maryland. He's putting like all these uh these videos
16:28of himself on Instagram and stuff training at at University of Maryland where he played college. He's from um like Montgomery County, Maryland, which
16:36is right near PG County where Washington has has their stadium. And >> uh it just makes so much sense for him
16:43to go. He was like a DMV star in high school to go kind of like end his career there makes some sense. And then
16:51Baltimore Baltimore was the other team that he could have ended up at, but then they signed like people don't like kind
16:56of discount this one, but it feels like when Baltimore signed Chris Moore, even though he's not a guy we'd ever use,
17:02it's sort of like they bring in a veteran who's been there when Chris Moore, they don't deal with like, okay, maybe the Stfan Diggs
17:07circus, Washington, I think, might just go go with it. It's it's such like a big swing uh Ian because if Diggs doesn't
17:16sign there, we like Antonio Williams more and we like Chica Conqua more and we probably like Terry Terry McLaren more. Um but Zayn made the point like
17:24could could Diggs out target Terry McLaren this year if he signs there? Is that like a what's the chance percentage chance you put on that one?
17:34>> I would say >> low but it's not zero.
17:37>> Low but it's not Yeah. You know, I hear and honestly, what that's the crazy part about even 2014, there wasn't
17:42competition there. It's not like Terry had 160 targets. There goes scribbling.
17:46He was someone I added to the queue.
17:48>> That would a good one. I think I think we take the running back here because it's been a running back monsoon and we
17:54get a clear handcuff here. Very unexciting pick. But Brian Robinson, if if Bean missed a month of the season, I'm not not going to ever put out into
18:03existence Bean missing the season or something. Um, but if if Brian Robinson had like four games or two games, he's in the starting lineup. Uh, he's the
18:12clear cuff there and, you know, would see way less of the passing game usage, but he wouldn't be a zero there. Um, but
18:19he he would have a dominating run running share and be used at least in like some of the pass game. So, I think
18:26Brian Robinson like any week Bejan would miss, you'd probably have him somewhere running back 18 to 20 range, Ian.
18:32>> Yeah. Yeah. 100%. So, I don't think we're going to get too much if any standalone value there. But again, it's
18:39an offense where we have consistently seen Stfansky and Tommy Reese, you know, get the most out of their running backs.
18:44Were those running backs very very good?
18:46Prime Nick Chub, Kareem Hunt, you know, earlier in his career for sure. Defense, Houston, that was one Theo was thinking about as well. Is this about the range
18:54steel on FFPC where you're fine taking a defense? Most of the top handcuff running backs, you know, top 60 wide receivers, quarterbacks off the board.
19:02this is the point for the top uh tier.
19:05>> Yeah, for me I I mean I have so many teams that I don't want to spend time on the waiverwire. Um and I think what's
19:11also what's also interesting and I I did a a pod with uh Nelson Susa uh with yesterday with Allen Slowski. You can
19:17check that out over on the the other Roto Wire YouTube channel. Um and Allan like we we talked to Nelson. Nelson has
19:24been taking like defense and Nelson's one of the best highstakes guys around.
19:28uh does a lot of NFC, but he does FFPC, too. And he's been like over the years, I've split team with teams with him, and
19:33he's liked taking one of the first defenses off the board, and he makes a point that he looked back over his fab
19:39over the years, and he was spending like 30% of his FAB on like the red-hot streaming defense that week. So, you
19:47spend less fab by having a set it and forget it defense. And then if you have like Houston or Seattle from last year,
19:53you end up with like a massive edge. So, um, Houston, I think is fine. I think actually I like kind of taking a defense
20:00right here with the guys we have in the queue. Ian, I think both these defenses could be edge picks for us. And there's
20:06two of them. Um, the one guy I'm wondering, I'm okay taking defense because I do agree if you're going to take a defense, it should be a freaking
20:14baller one this early. And we do still have them out there. What about number six? Do you think he has a chance to
20:18wrap back to us? That would give us correlation.
20:21>> I think he'll wrap back. I think he'll definitely be there. I I um Yeah. So, it sort of comes down to this. Your
20:27rankings are are top-notch. Where are you at on the Rams versus the Seahawks?
20:32And I'll throw Denver in there, too. All three defenses are are are really really interesting, >> man. The fact that they were as good as
20:39they were last year without corners, and they addressed that and upgraded verse to Miles Garrett and we're seemingly getting Aaron Donald back. Let's get the
20:47Rams.
20:48>> Let's take them. And we're passing on Patrick Mahomes at the 1403. Are the fantasy football gods gonna like shoot us with lightning? I just need to want
20:56to double check the by-week with Herbert.
20:59>> What is Herbert's by week here before we do this so people don't clown on us?
21:03>> Week eight, right? No. What is What is Herbert's buy? Let's double check that.
21:07>> I'm checking Chargers. Where are they?
21:10God damn it.
21:12>> I'm looking.
21:14>> Week seven is the Chargers buy. Okay, so we're good. Yeah, let's take him.
21:18>> Let's take uh take Jordan Love. Yeah.
21:21Yep. Come on down.
21:23Talked up the Packers a little bit earlier with Christian Watson. So again, we get that correlation. Hey, Jordan Love in 2023, guys. QB5, people forget.
21:30So maybe he's better than Patrick Mahomes. All right. No, I'm not going that far. But hey, Jordan Love certainly a fine enough QB2 out there. Yeah, go
21:38ahead.
21:38>> I'll throw out one one uh I'll throw two uh rookie three rookies in the in the queue that I think are interesting, Ian.
21:45Um Mike Washington I feel like is like a clear handcuff right now. I wouldn't be surprised if the Genty team just takes
21:51him here where like we look at we talked about like Brian Robinson. Okay, so that makes sense.
21:57>> I think with Jordan James getting a little bit banged up early on. Um I think Kalin Black might have a a leg up
22:04in that handcuff battle. Um and then the fun one is is Claybourne. I threw one more one more wide receiver in the queue
22:12that I'm taking all the time in this range. I took him in the main event last week. Um I mean I like Adam. And I I
22:19think it's I think for me it's Kalin Kalin Black or Adini Mitchell here.
22:25>> Why not Ryan Florenoi? We get pick in CD. I don't think he's actually relevant.
22:30>> The problem the problem with Floreno is I feel like you got to hold him and you're going to want to do waiverss
22:35early on and you just said it's like a one of the injury has to happen and I think also if Ferguson went down he'd
22:40have some value.
22:41>> Um >> no Travis Hunter.
22:44>> No, I think it's going to take an injury. I think there's too much too much steam on Parker Washington and and
22:49BTJ right now for me to take take Hunter. I think he's another guy you'll end up cutting after a couple games.
22:54>> I vote Kayen Black then.
22:55>> So, let's take Kaylin Black. Take another running back. Um I think he's fun.
22:59>> I like our wide receiver too right here, Theo.
23:04>> And the Let me look. Yeah, I like I like him too. Uh will he come back around? I I'll say maybe we should uh crowdsource
23:13this one. the the the whole the whole uh the whole chat wants us to take uh this one particular KD, the one one
23:20particular uh kicker named uh Cam Little from Jacksonville who's got the the 60 yarders, but we'll maybe we can let him
23:26come back around. I threw one more uh high-end handcuff potential uh guy in the in the in the queue and I know we
23:32have another running back there, but if Hampton were to go down, this would be like a champagne problem for us to have.
23:39>> So, I'll I'll defer to you. If you want to go wide receiver, the two top guys are fine. If you want to go with a
23:44kicker, uh, we could go Fairbear. Uh, >> Zachariah Branch goes >> hopefully our hopefully our guy is here.
23:51If not, we are >> If not, we're we're we're crowdsourcing this kicker.
23:57>> We're taking the kicker to make the people happy. All right. Not right now.
24:01Not today, Satan.
24:02>> So, let's take let's take uh let's take Kimani Vidal. And now we have >> Vidal.
24:08This is sort of like >> we definitely have the Chargers handcuffed. We definitely do now.
24:12>> Yeah. I'm not saying that I I drafted Omar and Hampton literally yesterday, but if Hampton were to miss time, this
24:18would be potentially a starting running back and a starting flex based on the way like McDaniels used this backfield.
24:25Like Vidal last year had how many hundred yard games Ian? Wasn't it like four hundred yard games for Kamani Vidal last year? Like something very strong.
24:35>> He had three with 125 plus total games.
24:37There we go. That's That's great. You know, this is >> 125. There we go. Yeah. So, and then I like the I like the Branch bet, too.
24:45Like the vibes with Branch have been pretty strong coming out of Atlanta camp. I think he's interesting.
24:50>> Um Atlanta I've talked to about uh Zachariah Branch is again trying to get in deep with the college football guys
24:57and the really smart NFL draft guys because the big issue with Branch is how many RPOs and screens he was running at
25:02Georgia. every single one of these guys who again knows college football better than me. The it's the Georgia offense, man. Zachariah Branch was the number one
25:10recruited wide receiver in his class for a reason. I remember his first handful of games at USC and just seeing this
25:15dude as a punt returner and being like, "Good god, is this dude a different level of fast out there." So, I know it
25:22was a little bit Mickey Mouse route stuff at uh everything he was doing with Georgia, but you know, being the engine
25:28of the Georgia Bulldogs passing game also means something to me, Theo. Yeah, he set the record for the most receptions in Georgia history last year.
25:36He had 81 receptions and he also led the SEC in receptions last year. And people are like, "Oh, this guy's, you know,
25:44this this terrible prospect because he was used as a low AOT screen merchant, but that's how they built their offense." I mean, Georgia's top of the
25:52food chain. I know you're an Ohio State guy, but they're right there with Ohio State, you know, like in terms of like
25:57top-notch college programs. Then you bring up like the USC. He was like the number one high school recruit in the country. Bishop Gorman guy, which Bishop
26:05Gorman like that's like the powerhouse school in Vegas. So for me it's like Zachariah Branch, he could be awesome.
26:12Scott Barrett and I used to talk about it sort of the 2% chance he becomes Tyreek Hill part two. 2% 2% Ian. Um and
26:20and and also he's he's like we talk about him being little and yes he's little but check the the reps at the
26:27combine. I believe Zachariah Branch had like 21 reps uh on the bench press at like 180 pounds. He's like a >> Yeah, he's a he's really strong guy. I'm
26:37actually gonna check that one cuz I might be I might be um underelling him.
26:41It might have been like 23 reps.
26:43>> I remember Tyson got 27 or 28.
26:46Questionable form. I'm aware everyone.
26:48You know what? It's still hard to even questionably throw up that much.
26:51>> Yeah. Come on. Come on. Oh, it's it was 20 reps, but 20 reps on on the bench press. And a lot of these uh wide
26:58receivers don't even test on the bench.
26:59So, Branch just just rolls out there and runs a 435 and then gets up and throws 20 reps up at like 185 lbs. So, guys
27:06guys, he's got that dog. He's got that dog. Okay. So, we're we're OTC here. Do you want to >> take both kickers? They're not because
27:14team 12 has a kicker. So, I think we let kickers ride.
27:17>> Sure. Unless Unless you want to lock in the the free uh look kicker just to have a little extra edge because if that game
27:25>> if [clears throat] that game trends towards Eddie Pinero then we leave him in. If not we cut them and and we adjust
27:32it with somebody else. It just I'll just throw that out there. The tight ends will be there because all these guys are
27:37like lower ranked guys.
27:39>> Okay.
27:39>> So I think you take your kicker of choice. If you want Pinterero, take him.
27:44If you prefer Jake Bates, I think that gets us access to a really good offense in Detroit and I think Bates with all
27:49the indoor games and I think he's just straight up good.
27:52>> Jake Bates, come on down. They really don't have a true likely problematic outdoor game until week 17, which I know
27:59guys, it sucks. It's in week 17, but we got to make it there first. We'll deal with that later. It's like they're at
28:05Carolina, they're at Miami. It could rain in Miami, but then after that it's literally December, you know, in Chicago in week 17 before we really do have to
28:13worry about it. Pretty nice.
28:14>> I just I don't know that we're ever going to feel it is a free look guy. The other thing is Michael Mayer might be
28:20the if there is a handcuffed tight end in fantasy football, it's Michael Mayer.
28:24>> Yeah. And also, could it be that the wide we're like trying to figure out who's the wide receiver in Vegas? And
28:30>> you know, I think Trey Tucker makes a lot of sense in like a Shahed role. Uh Jaylen Naylor obviously they gave a a
28:36lot of money to and I think that makes sense. But can Mayer be viable in FFPC?
28:41Could he be like the tight end 18 this year with Bowowers being the tight end one and they're just in heavy 12 all the
28:47time? Uh and Mayor is just good. So go ahead and take Mayor if you have a conviction.
28:53>> Let's go. Love me some Michael Mayer.
28:55Alltime leader is not particularly close in Notre Dame history in receiving errors and touchdowns. So, I know it hasn't exactly gone great for the guy
29:02yet, but I still do believe. And yeah, man. Chicago and the Raiders, the more and more I look at that wide receiver
29:07three spot, it's just like, yeah, why wouldn't they just be running 12 personnel far more snaps than not? So, Phil Mothah Hive, stand up. Going right
29:15after that, Theo, we are officially 20 rounds up and 20 rounds down though.
29:20Again, got our quarterback here, team 10, the Fighting Chip Skylark. Shout out to any Fairly Odd Parents fans out there for getting that reference. But Justin
29:27Herbert there at the end of round nine.
29:29Jordan Love later in round 15. And just, you know, love us some Justin Herbert, guys. But this really, really is the
29:36year to wait a quarterback as long as you really want to. Saquon Barkley, Hero RB in the round two. Rashad White, Blake
29:43Corm, Katon Mitchell, Brian Robinson, Kaylin Black, and Kamani Vidal cornering that Chargers handcuff situation behind Omar Hampton. At wide receiver, we got
29:51Justin Jefferson, Jaylen Waddle, and Christian Watson inside the first five rounds. Waited for a bit there and got Rashid Shahed and Stefon Digs. Later
29:58close things out with Zachariah Branch, maybe, just maybe, the Falcons wide receiver, too. And in a tight end Premium League, we wanted to be strong
30:05at that position. And we accordingly are Tyler Warren in round three, Sam Laaporta in round six, Michael Mayer in round 20. So, Theo, before we get out of
30:14here, I just want to ask you favorite pick and then maybe a pick where, not saying you hated it, but if you could go
30:19back, maybe you do something different.
30:21>> Favorite pick here? It's probably the conviction that we had on the Mitchell and Shahed picks where we were able to
30:28get back a little bit of running back value and then we were able to find our wide receiver four. Uh took uh both guys
30:35a little bit ahead of ADP. Uh and I like the way that that that ran out for us.
30:40It's structurally it's it's a good team.
30:42Uh, we need Wadd and Warren to be very good. We need Saquon to be somewhere closer to 2024 Saquon than 2025 Saquon.
30:50Uh, for this team to smash and obviously a Jefferson bounceback. So, I don't mind it. I I think Team 8 did a lot of really
30:56good things in this draft, too.
30:58I would say again, just seeing these quarterbacks and we freaking talked about it multiple times, but didn't necessarily need to go after Herbert,
31:06particularly after, you know, our Quinton Johnson stack fell apart, a pick before that. a little bit more in hindsight, but you know what? It's tough
31:12to say hindsight when we kind of knew it was going to happen there. At the same time, I do freaking love Justin. I
31:17honestly think he could finish maybe not overall QB1, but definitely top three.
31:22So, if we were going to go a little bit off the script, I don't mind doing it for a guy I truly do feel good about.
31:27Pick I would really say I like I'm with you. I think Shaheen then even Diggs afterwards, man, that was a situation of
31:33the draft where we didn't I don't think we fell behind wide receiver. We're going to be flexing Leaporto. We have these three guys. is like it's not like
31:39we were staring at an open roster spot wondering what to do or anything like that. But Shahed and Diggs, especially given, you know, some of these dudes
31:45that were going the last three rounds, I really don't think they're all that different from some of those options in their, you know, best case scenario. So,
31:52all in all, feeling pretty good. Theo, pleasure drafting with you, my man.
31:55Yeah, let's go win some
