Aaron Rodgers

NegativeMatchup16:00

Lowest-ranked QB option this week; the source is out on Rodgers against Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay has limited receiver and QB production; Dak Prescott had garbage-time yards but only 1 TD against them despite Dallas being a powerful offense.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeRole2:39

Recent performance shows promise with goal-line opportunity and strong runs, but snap share is a major concern at 29%, 15%, and 27% over the last three weeks. Rarely on the field; caught three passes last week but that is an anomaly with only five to six carries in the last three weeks, which does not provide sufficient volume for reliable fantasy production. However, has boom-bust upside if the Rams build a lead against Arizona (12.5-point favorites), potentially seeing increased work in the fourth quarter.

Insight page

Brandin Cooks

NegativeRole10:00

Will not get reliable targets in Tampa Bay's offense; the source notes the offense prioritizes targets to Christian McCaffrey, Mike Evans, and other receivers, leaving only leftovers for Cooks and Jacob Cowing. Cooks is still learning the offense, adding to uncertainty. The source recommends starting Keon Coleman over Cooks.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveRole17:24

Strange is on a heater, playing very well over the last two weeks and has taken a significant portion of targets that previously went to Jakobi Meyers. The source notes his elite role in the Washington Commanders offense, which is becoming a funnel concentrated among key targets like Strange, Bashel Tutin, and Parker Washington.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

NegativeRole2:39

Boom-bust profile with unpredictable weekly volume. Had a three-touchdown game two weeks ago but has been getting predictable weekly volume since. Difficult to predict when backup running backs will score touchdowns, making him a high-variance play rather than a reliable floor option.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveValue35:49

Brock Purdy is the preferred start over Drake Maye in a head-to-head decision this week. The tiebreaker: the Jets defense is strong and there is a chance the run game gets going, which could limit Maye's volume. Purdy has a much better matchup this week and survived a tricky stretch of the schedule with Denver and Seattle in back-to-back weeks, posting two passing touchdowns in each of those games. The 49ers offense is pass-heavy with all weapons having mismatches.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveRole19:08

Despite a poor matchup against the Jets defense (which features Sauce Gardner and Jarvarius Ward), Tate is recommended in start/sit decisions. The source notes he will get outside corner matchups and will be moved into the slot, and the Titans will likely need to score points and can't just lean on the run game. However, the source also expresses frustration with Tate's situation due to Tennessee's poor quarterback quality and potential top-five draft pick scenario.

Insight page

Dameon Pierce

PositiveRole2:39

Best floor option among Gibbs replacements with the most projected touches. Volume looked really good last week; has the highest floor play for managers needing consistent points. If you need 10 points, Pierce is the safest choice among the backup running back options.

Insight page

Demario Douglas

NegativeUsage18:28

Douglas had an outlier game last week with 4 catches for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns, but his prior production shows inconsistency: 2 for 15, 1 for 38, 1 for 9. The source warns this is an anomaly and advises not to bet on him repeating that performance, calling it 'one of those outlier games. Don't get tricked.' His role was also not as good as teammate Eff Chisum's last week, with Chisum playing more snaps and receiving more targets.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveRole20:11

Boston is recommended as a floor play over Jaylen Waddle. While his targets are inconsistent (sevens and fours), he has earned his opportunities with 41-46 yards in the last three games, providing a safer floor than Waddle. Additionally, if Casey Conpsion is limited or doesn't play, Boston could see increased workload.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage38:59

Emanuel Wilson has been one of the better waiver-wire pickups of the year, delivering multiple RB1 weeks with strong expected volume and role. He is hitting 20 carries per game and found the end zone again last week. The only game he didn't hit 20 carries was when Jadarian Price was playing, who is now on IR, establishing Wilson as the clear lead back. The source projects another top-15 week for week 6 given his recent end-zone production and consistent carries.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveProjection33:51

George Pickens has been fine over the last three games and is back on a 1300-yard pace; paired with Jonathan Taylor in trade discussions, both are considered superstars with great floors and great ceilings.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeMatchup48:40

JK Dobbins has only two catches in the last two games (12 yards and 6 yards), is averaging 3.6 yards per carry, and injuries have caught up with him. He is playing Seattle, a team that does not allow running backs to succeed, making him a poor start this week.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveRole5:00

Coming off bye week with elevated confidence. Bryce Young's primary target who will continue to see heavy usage. Source is really excited about how Coker will look post-bye and recommends starting him with confidence. Has proven a reliable floor and is the preferred play in start/sit decisions over alternatives like Woody Marks in PPR format.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeRole11:45

Waddle has done nothing and is difficult to trust with any level of confidence. Sean Payton flipped the script on running backs last week and Waddle didn't produce. Playing Seattle is not a favorable matchup for a start. In FFPC PPR start/sit decisions, Waddle is ranked below both Jeremy Bernard and Jacobe Meyers. The source recommends Denzel Boston as a safer floor play, stating 'you're praying if you play Wadd right now.'

Insight page

Jeremy McNichols

NegativeRole30:02

When Roman Wilson returns from injury, Jeremy McNichols loses his job; Roman Wilson already won that role and is one of Aaron Rodgers' preferred targets, making McNichols unplayable for the full season once Wilson is healthy.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection32:36

Jonathan Taylor has had two tough games in the last three but is scoring touchdowns; defenses do not respect Daniel Jones and are selling out to stop Taylor, yet he continues to produce; Taylor and George Pickens are considered superstars with great floors and great ceilings in trade discussions.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveValue50:48

Keenan Allen is a sneaky start this week with really good target share over the last couple weeks; he was available on waivers in many leagues and cleaned up in FFPC leagues; the source prefers him over Marvin Harrison Jr. this week, expecting five or six catches with a solid floor in the Texans matchup.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveUsage8:15

Box score does not tell the full picture. Drew multiple pass interference calls including significant downfield penalties, indicating strong target quality and offensive intent to take shots downfield. Third wheel behind DJ Moore but likely to see increased opportunity this week as the team may rest DJ Moore heading into their bye week in week seven. Source recommends Coleman as a start this week over Brandon Cooks and Romeo Doubs.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveProjection15:45

Highest-ranked QB option among the group (Tyler Shuck, Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Kirk Cousins). The source loves this matchup for Cousins and sees bounce-back potential this week with a favorable opponent.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeProjection50:42

Marvin Harrison Jr. makes his Houston Texans debut against a team where he played with CJ Stroud at Ohio State (both all-conference same year), providing chemistry context; however, uncertainty around snap count and role makes him a risky start—the source notes people are hoping for a big touchdown in his debut, but he might see only 15 snaps, making him a lower-floor option than Keenan Allen this week.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeProjection32:44

Omarian Hampton is part of a trade discussion where he is being offered alongside Jamar Chase and Bashel Tutin for Jonathan Taylor and George Pickens; the source notes that if Mike McDaniel gets fired, Hampton might get a better job situation.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveMatchup7:31

Start every single week with confidence. Had 30+ points last week. Exceptional strength of schedule in fantasy playoff weeks (16–17) with matchups against Dallas and Washington. Plays a ton in the slot, and Jaylen Petri (slot corner) is doubtful, creating a huge advantage for Washington in the upcoming matchup. If you're debating Parker Washington start/sit decisions, you should consider trading an elite receiver to upgrade elsewhere.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveRole30:02

Roman Wilson has already won the job in Arizona's offense and is one of Aaron Rodgers' preferred targets, making him the clear starter when he returns from injury.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveProjection10:30

The source is elevating Marks considerably this week despite Jacksonville's run-stopping prowess, citing his pass-catching ability as the key edge. Recent production shows five for 15, six for 22, and 15 for 62 last week with four catches for 23 yards. Marks has touchdown upside (could score once or twice) and a reliable floor; the source expects around six catches against Jacksonville, compared to Chase Brown's 11-catch outlier game.

0:04helping fantasy managers make the toughest start sit decisions. Theo Griminger and Jim Coventry of Rotoire.
0:11We're locked in. Start sit questions.
0:13Get them live in the chat. Jim, this is a big week and we've got multiple teams on buys. And it's also like this is like
0:20a a gamechanging [snorts] week for potentially like the top of leagues because no Jir Gibbs. The the 30 point per game man is out. I know I have some
0:28Gibbs teams where I'm like >> my lineups without Gibbs look really not that scary after being like putting like the fear of God into my opponents every
0:37week with like Jir Gibbs. So this is a this is a really important one. Uh it's not only Gibbs but fantasy managers
0:44using Leaporta, using Jameson Williams, using Aman Ross St. Brown, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, there's a bunch of guys out and then a bunch of short-term like
0:52elevators like Aaron Jones, Olly Gordon, they're unavailable this week. Justin Jefferson. So, this is a week where you got to make really strong start start
0:59set decisions. We're going to answer a bunch of these, but I know one player you're really excited about this week that we need to elevate is Matthew
1:07Stafford in the discussion to be QB1 overall this week coming off of a heater. Had unbelievable passing volume and turned it into three passing
1:16touchdowns, 350 plus passing yards this past week against Buffalo. Maybe the game of the year. Stafford this week faces Arizona. Arizona is bottom six in
1:27in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. They've been getting ripped to shreds. How does this matchup set up? And how excited are you about
1:35Stafford?
1:36>> Yeah, so the Rams, they have a bit of an issue. Davis Allen's hurt and people like, "Oh, so what?" No, these three
1:42tight end sets, Terrence Ferguson's an IR. Parkinson's still dealing with the shoulder. Left tackle Jackson suspended for a game. The Rams have one shot here.
1:51It's to spread them out. They're gonna have to go with more receiver sets. They don't want to, but they have to. They
1:56can't run their personnel. So, it's going to be a lot of Puka, Devonte, and Kairen Williams out of the backfield.
2:02And um because the run game, if they can't run their three tight ends, the run game is less efficient and Arizona
2:08can actually deal with it. So, they're just going to come in game planwise, they're going to put it on Stafford shoulders. The pass rush is nothing
2:14special in Arizona. So, yeah, Stafford is going to shred them, especially coming off a loss.
2:21>> I agree. I think Stafford, like especially in I think in DFS, he's a smash play. I think a lot of people are
2:26like, "Of course I'm starting Matthew Stafford." But I think if you're if you're using Matthew Stafford, feel really good about things. Really really
2:33excited about that one. Let's uh take a couple of these questions from the live YouTube chat. Uh we crossed 44,000 YouTube subs. If you're not subscribed
2:41to this channel, do us a favor, hit that subscribe button. Uh Jim and I are going to be rocking this show all season long.
2:47Let's take this one from Stephen. This is a halfp point PPR question. 12 team league. Um Jir Gibbs in and he needs is
2:56out. So running back to uh spot sub.
2:59Blake Cororm, Brian Robinson or Damen Pierce off of waiverss. Blake Cororm looked really good the other night. They gave him that goal line opportunity. He
3:08punched in the end zone, ripped off a couple of nice runs. Brian Robinson two weeks ago had the three touchdown game
3:14and has been getting sort of predictable weekly volume. And then you got Damen Pierce who the the the volume looked really good last week. Um and the
3:24opportunities look good. He happened to be going up against that Jacksonville Jaguars defense that literally no one could run up against. But I would say if
3:31I'm having to predict who has the most touches this week, it's probably Damen Pierce, but the other two might be a
3:37little bit more appealing. Which way do you go?
3:39>> Yeah, you're right. Volume's king.
3:41Pierce has the best floor. Look, as good as Blake Cororm looked, his snap share, Theo, 29%, 15, and 27 in the last three.
3:48He is rarely on the field, and that's a problem. Now, he caught the three passes last week. That's an anomaly. That's not
3:54happening. But he has five or six carries in the last three. That does not get it done. So, Brian Robinson is your
4:01boom bus play. You never know if he's getting a multi-touchdown game. It's really hard to predict the backup running back to score touchdowns. So,
4:09he's your boom bus. But if you just need some points, a floor play, it's Pierce, right?
4:14>> I, you know, again, I think I agree with you. If I need 10 points, I'm going Damen Pierce. But if I'm in a
4:18competitive matchup, I'm using Blake Cororum because there's a chance that the Rams, it's like the dream scenario.
4:25Rams are going to put it on Arizona and you get the half of the third quarter and you maybe get the full fourth
4:31quarter with like the Blake Cororm experience and you might get like 10 rush attempts in the fourth quarter alone. That'd be nice.
4:37>> So it might rip off a long one. Yeah.
4:39Um, shout out to hoodie season. We're we're both we didn't we didn't coordinate this one. I'm usually a short, you know, short sleeve t-shirt
4:46guy, but I'm I'm rocking a hoodie as is Jim with the old school Roto Wire logo on there, the purple. So, breaking that
4:52one out. Um, let's take another one here. We've got Jaylen Coker, Damen Pierce, or Devon Vele. Going Jaylen Coker in this one. Jaylen Coker coming
5:00off the by-week. I'm really excited about how he's going to look. I think Coker with confidence for me in this one.
5:06>> Yeah. Yeah, and you know the nice thing is that the fact that you have Vele and Coker on your team that means you got
5:11two nice values in your fantasy draft.
5:13So I think that's pretty amazing. But yeah, definitely going with Coker here.
5:16Coker it I keep saying this that is Bryce Young's guy and he's going to continue to eat. Keep playing him.
5:25>> Yeah, I'm I think Coker is going to look really good. Tedo McMillan's going to look really good. Um and also certainly
5:31Trouba Hubard's going to look good. I think that Dave Canales, a really bright offensive mind, and I love the idea of
5:37rational coaching coming out of the by-week. A lot of times, Jim, the cream rises to the top post bye-week. You know, if you go back over the years and
5:45you look and you say, who are the better coaches over the last 5 years, you look at their record coming out of a by-week,
5:50it's usually pretty good, and the bad coaches usually do poorly out of the by-week. It's it's not like a perfect science, but I I sort of feel like
5:57that's how it is. Your thoughts?
5:59>> Yeah, there there's no doubt. And now there are people that will cite certain statistics out of buys. Some teams are
6:06out of the routine. Some teams come out flat. Some teams come out better prepared. But for what you said, definitely am not going to argue that.
6:13And I do think that especially in these teams that are well coached and they're definitely on the upswing. They learned a lot. I think that the Panthers learned
6:21a lot about their team and what their strengths are. And I think they're going to double down. Like you said, the
6:25coaching there is really good. Canales and his staff are underrated.
6:28>> Brad Bradick. Bradick. weren't even talking about him, but you know, all the Mike McDaniel hype could have gone to Brad Idz. If Mike McDaniel would have
6:38had these sort of numbers, people would have been losing their minds. But I think Canales Canales gets all the the credit because he's the former offensive
6:46coordinator. He had great success. It led to a head coaching job, but he made this really smart hire and and ID has
6:52them passing at a high rate and uh Chuba Hubard his his run efficiency is through the roof. like the run success rate for
7:00him is ridiculous. So, they're they're completely locked in. Uh let's take a couple more questions, then we're going to get back to a couple players that Jim
7:08is really high on for this week. And a quick note for everyone, uh Jim is doing this Sunday morning as well. So, what
7:14you want to do is go over to Rotoire Live, subscribe to that channel as well, and you're going to get Jim Coventry,
7:19Tyler Canal, both putting out outstanding content. Tyler's doing a bunch of these film breakdowns, which are really top-notch. I don't know if
7:26you've got a chance to your busy schedule, Jim. You're the busiest guy in the world. You might have not got a
7:31chance to to catch our boy Tyler, but he's putting out good stuff, too. And then Jim locked and loaded Sunday mornings doing the same thing. We've got
7:37a a $10 super chat. Thank you uh uh in the in the YouTube chat. Thanks for all your advice, guys. Can't decide in PPR.
7:45Two wide receivers and a flex. So, we need to pick two wide outs here and we need to pick one flex. I mean, come on
7:51here. Parker Washington, we'll get that out of the way. Okay, so you got your wide receiver taken care of. So we
7:56needed to choose between Brand and Parker Washington, guys. Unbelievable.
8:0130 plus points last week. Parker Washington, like you're you're starting him every single week. And if you're having to make Parker Washington start
8:08decisions, then congratulations on all your money. You should consider trading one of your elite wide receivers, maybe upgrade, get an elite tight end, get an
8:15elite running back, because Parker Washington said it, forget it. And then Jim, we'll start doing some like strength of schedule stuff uh in a
8:21couple weeks. Hey man, we're we're two months away from the fantasy playoffs.
8:24We got to get it going. Jim and I will do some start some like fantasy uh football playoffs like strength of
8:29schedule stuff in the upcoming weeks, but um Parker Washington, that strength the schedule second half of the year is is money in the bank. Dallas and
8:37Washington in week 16 and 17 for Parker Washington. So we're choosing between Brandon Cooks, Keon Coleman, and Romeo Dobs. We have to pick two of we pick one
8:47of those guys in the wide receiver spot and then we have to pick one in the flex. So, let's pick the wide the best
8:52one and then we'll pick the second best one. I'm going Keon Coleman here. Um I think Keon Coleman like the the box
9:00score doesn't tell the full picture. He drew some pass interference calls as well, some like big ones downfield. Um and also he was targeted on on an
9:09interception. So like Kian Coleman, they're trying to take shots to Andy catches a touchdown. Um your thoughts on this one? Are you with Coleman as the
9:17next man in? So, as I pointed out, Coleman will only do something in DJ Moore's out. He is a third wheel. They
9:23only threw 19 passes last week. That's crazy. But they'll probably throw Morgan, probably be more balanced this week. So, I don't I think they're going
9:31to sit DJ more because they have a buy in week seven. When you sit a guy for one game, it's easier to sit him for
9:36two. So, I think they're going to get him healthy for postby because they're thinking Super Bowl, right? So, I do think then this week, you do like Keon
9:42Coleman. I want to point out why I think this person asked about Parker Washington. They're playing to Texas, probably worried about Stingley and
9:50Lasser. But what you need to understand is Parker Washington plays a ton in the slot and Jaylen Petri is doubtful. He's
9:56injured and that's their slot corner.
9:58He's listed as a safety, but he's their slot corner. That's a huge huge advantage for Parker Washington. So, they're going to eat there. But, I am
10:05with you on this. This is a good Coleman week. Brandon Cooks, he's not going to get reliable targets. He got one last
10:11week that was big, but it's going to focus more to KD. It's going to focus more to Mike Evans. It's going to focus
10:16more to McAffrey. And then leftovers when they're there are going to go to players like Brandon Cooks and Jacob Cowing. You never will be able to count
10:24on Brandon Cooks. A and he's still learning the offense, too. Um, so yeah, I definitely like Kan Coleman with you and Parker Washington.
10:31>> Well, there we go. Um, let's go. Uh, here's a fun one. We talked about Jaylen Coker before. Now you've got Woody Marx
10:38and this is a PPR 10man uh league. So we talked about Coker and I'm really excited about him, but I'm also sort of
10:46excited about Woody Marks even though they're playing Jacksonville and Jacksonville is just the ultimate run stop defense right now in the NFL. But
10:55Woody Mark's pass catching ability against Jacksonville, we we could end up seeing not the Chase Brown experience where he had 11 catches, but we could
11:04see six catches. I'm still going to lean Jaylen Coker in this one, but I am elevating Woody Marks considerably this week. Your thoughts?
11:11>> I mean, Woody Marks, look, he's got a five for 15, a six for 22. Last week was good. 15 for 62, but that's it. And his
11:19four catches last week, 23 yards, so he's not getting much yardage. Now, could he fall in the end zone? Yeah. And
11:25that's where you always got to with a running back, you always have that chance. He could fall in the end zone
11:30once. He could even fall in the end zone twice. So, I think Markx has a floor and it's really reliable, but Coker's kind
11:37of proven he has a floor as well. Again, I just think you roll with Coker here.
11:42>> Yeah, I think that's fair. Um, here's here's another one. Um, we're down bad with Jaylen Wadd. And we're up with
11:49Jeremy Bernard. We've got Chris Godwin.
11:51We've got Romeo Dubbs.
11:52>> I'm really excited about Jeremy Bernard.
11:54I had him as my number one waiverwire ad this week. I had a really strong week last week. Um, six six catches, the
12:02targets were there, the role is there, and now you have no Roman Wilson, Michael Pitman on the IR. Uh, Tampa Bay,
12:11you know, the the way that they are going to blitz, they're going to send guys at Aaron Rogers. The the Steelers
12:16offensive line has allowed some sacks on Rogers, partly because Rogers is uh kind of a statue, but the offense over the
12:22last three weeks looks really good.
12:24Jaylen Wadd, I'm getting text messages.
12:27is I shout out to Dan Williamson and Andrew Shelonberg. We've got an FFPC varsity team and every week we're just like holding our breath with Wadd. We're
12:34like, do we use him? Do we sit him?
12:37We're down bad. And Shawn Payeyton last week completely flipped the script on the running backs and we didn't see a Jaylen Wadd anything game. They get by
12:44the Chargers more like a survive than a win. Um I know they won the game, but they didn't look good, Jim. It's just
12:51the Chargers is are really bad offensively. Can we look at a potential Waddle bounceback game or are we going to look to use one of these other guys?
13:00>> It's really tough to call Wadd now with any level of confidence. They're playing Seattle. That's not a good matchup to
13:07start. And then you think about Bo Nicks, they're hiding him. 27 pass attempts. They do not trust him right now. He's an erratic quarterback. Poor
13:16footwork. So I I think right now Jaylen Wadd unfortunately you treat him as a flex boomer [clears throat] bus flex because you know he could have a game
13:26but you can't predict it. So really you can't start him with any confidence right now.
13:30>> Give me Jeremy Bernard. Give me Jeremy Bernard in that one. I'm going to roll with Jeremy Bernard. And I think this is
13:35an ascending player and and and I'll say just for like kind of a a bold statement. I don't know how bold this
13:41even is. Michael Pitman's on the IR when he comes back. I don't know if if I I'm not so sure that he's going to take away
13:47the Jeremy Bernard role. This is second round pick. Pittsburgh took him in the second round. This was Alabama's leading receiver. Uh led the team in receiving
13:55yards even with Ryan Williams on the team last year. And Jeremy Bernard was a guy that Alabama featured. They moved him around the offense. And Jim, when we
14:03look at Mike McCarthy offenses, I'm not saying I'm not saying the word Randle Cobb, but he's got a little bit of Randle Cobb in him. Little bit of
14:11Randle Cobb in him. I'm just throwing that out there. You know, let's just make sure we understand one part of this
14:16though. Roman Wilson left with a finger injury and he's not going to play this week. Bernard and we predicted a big
14:22week for Roman Wilson. That's the week Bernard had because he stepped in that role. Roman Wilson has earned the slot role there. He had he was playing very
14:30well for them. Bernard had a really good >> That finger injury, that finger injury might, you know, we don't know, >> right? It'll be a while. It'll be four
14:37weeks for Whit Wilson. So, the window's there. The window, >> right? But I'm just saying long term, but this week for sure. For this week
14:42for sure. like you said, he steps into that role and that is a really good role. Now, this week against I think
14:48Aaron Rodgers, Bernard's fine, like you said, but this is a week he's going to take shots on the perimeter to DK Metaf
14:54because when that blitz comes, he's going to have single coverage and we've seen it already this year. When the blitz comes, Rogers will just launch it
15:01because they're not going to be able to double cover regularly on um DK. So, they're going to take shots, but like
15:07you said, they're going to have to be some middle of the field stuff. tight ends will be involved, but Bernard should have a good floor for you.
15:13>> Here's the question in two. This guy's This is Meatball. Meatball and he and it wants to clarify this is not just your
15:20regular Meatball. This is meatball 2026.
15:22So, I don't know if you update your name every year, Meatball. [laughter] Um I had I had a dog named Meatball. So,
15:27we're we're definitely taking your question. Um RIP to my my dog Meatball in in in two Superflex leagues. So, Meatball's got a lot of correlation in
15:36terms of the same quarterbacks on his teams. It seems like one of these guys got on two teams. Tyler Shuck, Aaron
15:42Rogers, Matthew Stafford, Kirk Cousins.
15:45Pick your least trustworthy start in this one. So, I'll say Stafford is is starting >> um 100%. And I'm going to say Kirk
15:53Cousins probably the the the highest ranked one for me of these other three.
15:58Your thoughts?
15:59>> Yeah, I'm out on Rogers in this one.
16:01Again, Tampa Bay has really limited receiver production and quarterback production. I mean, Dak had a lot of garbage on yards, but he didn't put up
16:09fantasy numbers, one touchdown. Uh, now I know he extenduating circum that was a Dallas game. Dallas is a powerful offense. Yeah, I don't I think Aaron
16:17Rogers is the lowest easily. Cousins, I love this week. We'll talk about him later. Definitely think he can bounce back in this matchup.
16:23>> Yeah, I'm on this one. So, we're on Cousins. We're on Matt Stafford. Um, so you're Shuck or Rogers because we've got
16:29to pick two here.
16:30>> Oh, Shuck's fine. Yeah. Last week we were never starting Shuck because they were playing Minnesota. You knew that was going to be a disaster.
16:39>> Yeah. So, just to like a a lot of defensive research here and I drop the defensive show every week. There's
16:44really two set it and forget it defenses right now. We're going to roll with the punches with the Seattle Seahawks. I
16:50know we've had like the San Francisco game. We've had uh you know obviously the the Washington game where things sort of didn't go their way, but they're
16:58a set it and forget it defense.
17:00Minnesota is the other set it and forget it defense that Brian Flores is completely in his bag and that defense is unbelievable. So, uh that there we
17:08go. Two set it and forget it defenses there. Here's another one involving Jeremy. Jeremy Bernard, Jacobe Meyers or Jaylen Wadd um in a in a FFPC PPR uh
17:18league. So, we talked about this one.
17:21Jeremy versus Wadd. I'm on Jeremy here, but how about if we put Jacobe Meyers into the mix?
17:26>> Meyers just is getting phased out. He's not getting any regular work. There's nothing reliable about his role right now. They throw the middle. Brenton
17:34Strange has really taken a lot of the targets that would have gone to Jacobe Meyers. Love the player, but you know
17:41what? His targets in the last two games, four and three, and he has one game with more than four targets all year. You
17:47can't go with him right now. He's just a bench flex or something like you can't use him.
17:53>> Jacobe Myers makes the offense better, but he's not a target earner. He's like a threat guy. This offense is really
17:58becoming a funnel. Parker Washington, Bashel Tutin, who's getting the elite elite volume. And we say it every week, but Bashel Tutin like it's kind of a
18:07running joke. I do the show with Jacob Gibbs and the role is so elite for Bashel Tutin. The forced forced missed
18:13tackles um yards after contact and now the the volume is there. And then like you said, Brentton Strange is on a
18:20heater playing very well the last two weeks and that's really really hurt Kobe Meyers. So we're going to go Bernard in
18:26this one as well. We're going with the new hotness, Jeremy Bernard and two flex ones. Yes, sir.
18:31>> Speaking of new hotness, Deario Douglas, uh >> his role was not as good as Eff Chisums last week. Chisum played more snaps.
18:39Chisum had more targets, but Deario Douglas kind of a guy who obviously Drake May Truss ended up with two touchdown grabs on five targets. Um your
18:48thoughts on Deario Douglas with the New England Patriots going up against a Jets defense where Jim, we start talking about sneaky defenses. this Jets
18:57defense. They get Miami next week. Um Jets defense really really uh had that pass rush rolling. Um but Carnell Tate bad last week. Had the huge breakout the
19:08week before. Where are you going here?
19:09I'm going Carnell Tate.
19:11>> Yeah, Carell Tate. I don't like his overall matchup, but he's going to get the outside corners. You got sauce, you've got Jarvarius Ward, but he's
19:21still getting targets. They will move him into the slot. They they're probably going to have to score a few points.
19:26They can't just lean on the run game.
19:28So, I I agree with you on Carnell Tate.
19:30Definitely like him there. Demario Douglas. Look, he he may have had the game, but when you look at his overall production prior week, two for 15, one
19:38for 38, 1 for9, and then last, yeah, he had the big game last week, four for 65, you know, with the two touchdowns, but
19:45that is just an anomaly. You cannot bet on him going back that is one of those outlier games. Don't get tricked.
19:53>> Yeah. Um I I think that this is an interesting one. I think Carnell Tate, it's it's going to be frustrating all
19:58year long because >> yeah, >> um the the the quality of the quarterback. It's really one of the def one of the offenses that we're attacking
20:04with screaming defenses, but Tate's really talented. It's just man, we got problems in Tennessee. Really really bad situation. Jim, your gut gutshot when
20:13we're like, let's say Tennessee picks in the top five. Does Cam Ward survive? Are they going to draft a quarterback?
20:19>> Well, right now they got to draft a quarterback. They they they already know. This is unfortunate, but this is kind of dead in the water already.
20:26>> Agreed. Uh Denzel Boston or Jaylen Wadd.
20:31>> Oh man. So Boston, he's had a couple He earned them, but he's had a couple sloppy tacklers and allowed to big
20:39touchdowns, but man, the targets are not really consistent. It It's like, so here are his targets. Now he has three sevens, but he has two fours. So sevens
20:47is high, high mark, and then he's got a couple fours in there. It's It's troubling because 41 46 yards in the
20:54last three games, but Jaylen Wadd has done nothing. So, I think Boston is your floor play. If you just want to make
21:02sure you got it safe, then play Boston.
21:05And you're praying if you play Wadd right now. You're praying. It can happen.
21:10>> Yeah. We'll also add Casey Conpsion limited in practice on Wednesday.
21:13There's a chance he doesn't go, which could sort of lend itself to a little bit more work for Boston. We're not
21:18going to take any more Jaylen Wadd uh Jaylen Waddle questions because it's too painful. Here's a PPR one. Uh Roma Dunce
21:26or Bashel Tutin.
21:28>> I'm going Bashel Toutin here.
21:31>> I see that the listener has a question about the matchup. You got to understand Liam Cohen really has a schemed up run
21:38game. If you remember back in Tampa a couple years ago when they went nuts, man, they were playing tough run defense
21:43and really now the offensive line's a problem. Anton Harrison got injured.
21:46He's out. But I the volume's there. The schemed up runs are there. You've I think Tutin is much safer. Odunay is has
21:55not been reliable at all.
21:56>> I'm not going to be benching Bashel Tutin at all. And I also say that I understand like Houston on paper. This
22:02is a tough matchup and we're a little worried about things. The Texans defense this year is not the Texans defense last
22:08year. They're they're they're very good, but they're not as complete like a destroyer. We've seen uh offenses have some strong performance against them,
22:17but I love the idea that Jacksonville is playing back-to-back games in London.
22:22They don't have to travel this week.
22:24This is the travel for Houston. Houston obviously got their big win, but I have a lot of trust in Jacksonville to get
22:30things done. Also, Jacksonville came back in like miracle fashion. I think they ride that wave, get another big win this week in an important one against
22:38Houston. Your thoughts?
22:39>> Hey, Theo, real quick, too. Romo Dunay has one game with more than eight PPR points. Four out of five games he has
22:46not hit eight. And Bashel Tutin has caught four two passes in four straight games. You add that to his rushing production and he is giving you just
22:55four points a game as a receiver plus his running work. So he is so much safer than Odun and he has a greater chance of
23:04scoring a touchdown than Odun. So this makes it pretty easy. I think that the reason people want to cram in their
23:10bears is they're excited about the return of Caleb Williams here. You got Jacobe Brassette, Mr. Garbage Time in a potential garbage time situation against
23:20the LA Rams >> or Caleb Williams this week. Uh what's your thoughts on this one?
23:25>> So look, Jacobe Brassette doesn't always cash in these garbage time games. There are garbage time games where he gets in
23:32a lot of trouble and their left tackle Paris Johnson's down. This is one of those weeks against the Rams and the
23:37Rams coming off a heartbreaker. The Rams are not going to take their foot off the gas. Divisional opponent. I think this
23:43is one of those games where they trail, but Jacobe Brassette doesn't make the garbage time happen. I No, I'm out on
23:49him here. As long as Ka You said it's him or Caleb, right? If Caleb's playing, >> it's it's Caleb. We could have done this
23:54in in two words. It's Caleb. Caleb's a top 10 quarterback this week. Um at Atlanta, Atlanta wants to stop the run.
24:01Caleb is I mean, we're not going to bench Caleb Williams here. is like a huge bounceback opportunity for Chicago.
24:07Uh it's Caleb Williams. Caleb Williams a top 10 play. And I think it's if you're playing DFS, it's worth cramming in some
24:14Caleb Williams lineups. I know everybody wants to play Bejian Robinson, a Caleb Williams, Bejian Robinson. Um those those sort of uh lineups could end up
24:22tilting. I think also Atlanta Atlanta Chicago it feels it has a little bit of a feel to it Jim like one that could
24:31could t could trend over uh and not be like a slugfest. I think this is one where two two uh offensive coordinators
24:38are going to put pressure on one another. Bears defense got opened up.
24:41You got Drake London. You got Bejian Robinson and they got Caleb Williams coming back. Um Ben Johnson really ugly stuff last week. There's going to be
24:49some really good adjustments made by him. They usually are. We rarely see Ben Johnson put up two poor performances in a row. It just doesn't usually happen.
24:58>> Hey Theo, the reason I went on and out on about Bric because a lot of people are later going to have questions
25:02whether they stream him or they try.
25:04That's why I went into detail on him. So it was really not for that. No, I'm just messing with you Jim. You on that
25:10>> it's going to happen. People are going to be asking about him. So we just saved him the trouble now.
25:14>> Yeah. Everybody hit the like button if you enjoyed Jim Coventry. One of the the balln knowowers in fantasy football. Jim
25:20Coventry. I'll put Jim Coventry up against PE anybody. Um Jim is is breaking down the film doing the work and this guy is completely locked in.
25:28Make sure you're checking out the work Jim's putting out. Jim, people can also hear you on SiriusXM. Let everybody know sort of your schedule for that one. Yes.

25:44enjoyable show. Friday we break down the game. Saturday we break down the players. two very informational shows.
25:50Dr. Deepak Jonah will be on Fridays during our show to break down injuries as well. Theo, great move getting Dr.
25:58Chona in with us.
26:00>> Yeah, if you guys didn't know, uh Dr.
26:01Deepo Chona joined RotoWire. Uh we're thrilled to have him. I worked with him years ago. I honestly don't think there's anyone better for fantasy injury
26:12analysis in the space than than Dr.
26:14Chona. And Deepo is just the man. Um really good. and I think you'll enjoy hearing Jim and him chop it up. He's
26:20also gonna be coming on with me once a week here. So, we're gonna keep you really locked in on these injuries and
26:26um yeah, we're we've done some awesome stuff. Also, give a shout out um to Dan Fornick, our offensive line guru, just
26:33dropped his update.
26:34>> Jim, some huge updates on the offensive line rankings. Uh Philadelphia falls from two overall in the preseason to 21 right now. And your number one offensive
26:44line, you guessed it, the San Francisco 49ers right now. So, go check out Dan Forick's article, Rotoawwire.com. Use the code Theo40. Get 40% off of any

27:32I had somebody saying that when I'm saying better, I people just are like B T O R. Like they're not like uh I'm not
27:39saying it clearly. So, I'm I'm going to spell it out for you guys. Here's a good one. Um, flex play. Eftton Chisum who
27:47had a strong week last week and is in a strong role. Lad Mani, Keon Coleman, Cam Scataboo. It's easily Cam Scaboo for me
27:55this week in a home game against the New Orleans Saints. I don't even need to talk about the other guys because it's
28:00Cam. Where are you at here, Jim?
28:02>> Yeah, they're playing the Saints this week and that's all you need to know.
28:05Scaboo is getting volume. This week the volume turns into points. Yeah, I think if you're looking for a sell window on
28:11Cam Scataboo and you don't trust him for the season long, I think he's going to end up putting up 16 17 points
28:17potentially this week. Um, I think you're going to have a window. It's and I will say that this backfield does feel
28:22like it's a little bit in flux for the season. Tracy looks pretty good out there and and and Harris, I'm not so
28:29sure. I think they're trying to make him a thing, but I we'll keep an eye on the like the backups there, but it's still
28:33Scataboo's backfield. Uh, here's one. JK Dobbins >> or Rashad White. I'm assuming this is PPR. It's a guillotine league. Um,
28:43>> JK Dobbins, the usage went way up with Shawn Payeyton. And Rashad White, San Francisco has allowed a ton of catches
28:51to opposing running backs. So, a lot of people in on the Jakori Krosky Merritt production last week, but the the role
28:58didn't really change for M for for JCM.
29:00He just ripped off a long a long touchdown run. Um, I like I kind of like Rashad White in this one. Um, it's
29:08probably Dobbins, but I don't mind the Rashad White. I could really go either way on this one. I think in terms of
29:13rankings, I'll probably have Dobbins ahead of him, but I think White could be in store for a game flow elevated uh
29:19stat line.
29:20>> Look, Dobbins has two catches in the last two games each, 12 yards and six yards. So, nothing there. He's 3.6 yards
29:28a carry. He is the injuries have caught up. He is no longer that dude and he's playing Seattle. You don't run on
29:36Seattle full stop unless you have Superman in the backfield. And guess who is not Superman? JK Dobbins. It's Rashad White. Here's a seasonl long one. Drop
29:46Casey Conpsion for Jeremy Bernard. I I am very high on Jeremy Bernard, but I think Casey Conpsion I I'm still very
29:54high on rest of season. And I know you're you're a little bit less into the uh ceiling outcome for Casey than I am.
30:01I think Casey's role could sort of grow.
30:02I know they're trying to trade Jerry Judy. Um which doesn't clear up a whole lot, but it clears up enough that it
30:08wouldn't have like those annoying few catches go to Judy. I'm on KC rest of the season, but I'm really high on
30:14Jeremy as well. Your thoughts on this one. Rest of season, Jeremy or KC?
30:19>> Look, when Roman Wilson comes back, Jeremy doesn't have a job. It's that simple. Roman Wilson already won that job and Jeremy's nice, but that's like
30:29Roman Wilson is one of Aaron Rogers guys. He wants him on the field. So it No, I you can't full season. You can't
30:36play Bernard because it's not his job.
30:39>> Here's one for you. Marvin Harrison Jr.
30:42making his Houston Texans debut. And a little backstory. CJ Strad, Marvin Harrison Jr.
30:48>> played together and excelled together at Ohio State. both all conference the same year. Um but Keenan Allen sneaky sneaky start this week. Keenan Allen um the
30:59target share has been really good over the last couple weeks. Very similar to Josh DS. All the talk goes to Josh
31:05Downs, but Keh Keenan Allen I had him in the waiverwire column because there's leagues where he was available. It got cleaned up in FFPC leagues last night,
31:13but I I'm going Keenan Allen in this one. Harrison Jr. feels like a people hoping for a big touchdown in his debut.
31:22Um, but I'm going Keenan Allen.
31:24>> Yeah, it's Keenan Allen. It's five or six catches. There's a game he was knocked out with an injury. You got to
31:27throw that game out. He got hurt. You got to play Keenan Allen. Marvin Harrison, we have no idea what a snapshot is going to be. You are really
31:34praying if you put him in because he might see 15 snaps.
31:39>> Same uh same commenter Mattie Randoms on YouTube says he's dropping Chris Godwin for Will Riker. Uh, Will Record. I I
31:47know you hate kickers, Jim, but I love kickers. And Will Riker was my guy my guy in uh we did the big kicker
31:53recommendation show in late August, early September. People love that one.
31:57And Will Riker was like my my like recommended kicker target because he was going as like the kicker 12, kicker 13.
32:04Kicker number two overall right now.
32:05Will the thrill uh and Godwin not a whole lot right there. So I I cover kickers every week. I know Jim is pained
32:12by hearing this. So, I do a def my defensive streamer show and my kicker show uh drops every week here on the
32:19podcast feed and on the channel. So, I won't talk any more kickers today for Jim who's he's fervently anti-kicker. Uh we took we took this one I think before.
32:28Um let's keep this going. Uh find let's find a good one. I really appreciate how active the chat is here. Here's a trade
32:36question. just got offered Jonathan Taylor and George Pickkins for Jamar Chase, Bashel Tutin, and Omarian
32:44Hampton. Okay, we're talking here. Jamar Chase, Jonathan Taylor, two top top players in this. Um, both are probably top 10
32:55assets rest of the season in PBR leagues.
32:58>> Then you've got George Pickkins in the mix on the Jonathan Taylor side.
33:01>> You've got Bashel Tutin. So essentially it's Jamar Chase and Tutin for Pickkins and Jonathan Taylor and then you get the
33:09little bonus of maybe Mike McDaniel gets fired >> and Omar gets a better a better job. I mean that's sort of like if you're Jim
33:17Harbaugh, how do you not consider that at this point?
33:19>> Right.
33:20>> Um where are you at on this trade?
33:22>> All right. Look, Jamar Chase has not gone off. He had a three-point game, a six-point game, a 20 point game and a
33:28two in the 25 range. That's not what you were expecting. And there's no signs that that's really changing. He's gonna not be huge every week. Now JT's had two
33:38tough games in the last three, but he's scoring touchdowns. Defenses do not respect Daniel Jones. I watched the film. They are selling out to stop
33:45Taylor and say Daniel Jones beat us because you can't. But that said, Pickkins is Pickkins the last three games has been fine. He's back on a 1300
33:54yard pace. To me, Taylor and Pickins, they have great floors. They have great ceilings. And I I'm going with those two
34:01guys because it's two superstars. Give me two superstars in the deal.
34:05>> Yeah. Give me George Pickkins and Jonathan Taylor as well. But this is I think this the lesson here is um not
34:10necessarily with this trade, but if you're making trades, trying to manipulate by weeks um and try to to target guys you want in by-weeks. That's
34:20sort of a way to pay 85 90 cents on the dollar for elite assets. like you're never going to get Junior Gibbs, but you
34:26might be able to get Sam Laaporta this week in a trade because the manager might be sitting there and not want to
34:32fall to like two and four or one and five. You might be able to make little trades like that. Uh we'll take a a
34:37shout out to Big Pun, one of my favorite rappers back in the day. You were you a Fat Joe and Big Pun guy back in the day.
34:42Jim Coventry.
34:43>> I was not.
34:44>> Okay. Well, I was. Um need need to start one. Uh got Damen Pierce, um Katon Mitchell, Jaka Crosky, Mritt, Blake
34:51Cororum, or Kendra Miller. So, we've got sort of this is the this is the week six. We're hitting by weeks and we're
34:58going to start getting sketchy RB2 starts at decisions here. Blake Cororum, Kendra Miller, Jaory Krosky Merritt, Katon Mitchell, Damen Pierce.
35:08>> Krosky Merritt has the best chance for a big run. 49ers would be likely to give that up, but this the consistent success
35:14won't be there. I think your boom bus play like you said is corum in the hopes that they get ahead. They are like a 12
35:20and a half point favorite. If they do get that because Kairen's been getting a lot of work, you could see that. So, I
35:25think your boom bust is Cororum. Your floor is probably Ky Merritt.
35:29>> Yeah, I think I'm rolling I think I'm rolling Cororum there because I think it's a Rashad White week in Washington.
35:34So, we're we're slightly butting heads.
35:36Not really on this one.
35:37>> No, we're not.
35:38>> Yeah, we're close enough on this one.
35:40>> Uh here's here's uh another one.
35:43>> Oh, wow. Here we go. This is this is what we call a champagne problem. We're going to go top of the food chain for a
35:48second.
35:49Brock Pury or Drake May? God, this is a hard one. Okay, Brock Party's got the matchup of and like a much better
35:57matchup. And Drake May's on this generational heater. So Brock Party survives the gauntlet. The the tricky part of the schedule was Denver and
36:06Seattle in back-to-back weeks. He had two passing touchdowns in each of those games. And San Francisco wins both of those games. Drake May ends up going
36:16bonkers. The last two weeks are the two best weeks he's ever had, uh, including all of last year. There's not two weeks
36:22he had last year that were better collectively than these two weeks. I mean, putting up absurd numbers as both a passer and also looks like completely
36:31in his bag as a runner. That touchdown run that Drake May had, it wasn't a long one, but just putting defenders on
36:37skates. Looks awesome on that one.
36:38Looked like Josh Allen. Um, looked like Lamar Jackson on that one. Where are you at on this week specifically? Champagne problem. But who scores more points? DFS
36:49players are probably listening to this one.
36:51>> I'm going with Brock Pery. They they're a pass heavy offense. Even McCaffrey isn't running like an over, you know, overly high amount. They're throwing.
37:00Their weapons all have mismatches. The only the tiebreaker for me is this deal.
37:04I think that there's a chance with the Jets if the run game gets going and they're controlling the game. May might
37:09be limited in what he needs to do.
37:12>> Yeah. I mean, Jets defense, David Bailey looks like an absolute monster and that that pass rush is amazing. And I'll say
37:19just as a little added bonus because Jim and I really like this audience. If you have a spot on your bench and you're
37:25like, I don't want to play handcuff roulette this week and I don't want to just add some handcuff and, you know,
37:30hope, you know, quash my fingers and maybe some guy gets banged up. If you want to add a piece that can help you
37:35win in week seven, the Jets defense is going to get dropped in a lot of leagues because they're playing the Patriots and
37:41people don't want to use them. pick up the Jets and use them in week seven against the Miami Dolphins and you're
37:47gonna put up a top three scoring week.
37:49So there you go. There you go. Um Bashel Tutin or Brilan Allen halfpoint PPR and he says he can also go with D with
37:59Denzel Boston if we don't like the running backs here. Now, Brilan Allen uh looked awesome last week and then in the
38:07week before had ran very well, but the team couldn't run any plays against Chicago. Um your thoughts on this one, Tuton against Houston or Brilan Allen uh
38:18this week against the Patriots.
38:20>> Toutton's catching the ball and there's something to be said for that. And we have seen Brillin Allen in four games
38:27catch a grand total of eight passes for 11, no for 19 yards. So, Toutton's going to be your play. Tutin's more likely to
38:33score a touchdown. And honestly, New England is pretty stout if you run inside and that's where Allen likes to make a lot of his his um damage. I I
38:42would go with Toutin here and over the receiver and over Boston.
38:46>> I like Allen a lot this week, but it's Toutin. Tutin has 11 points in like consecutive weeks, but I keep
38:52recommending him on the trade show. Uh appreciate the feedback in the chat on the trade show. Uh, Hawk of Navar says
38:59that I should put in some examples of players to offer these guys for. I'm going to do that next week. So, really
39:03do appreciate the audience sending us this sort of uh constructive criticism on these shows. We we were here to we're here to help you win and anything we can
39:11do, let us know. Uh, Emanuel Wilson tonight and again, Jim and I are recording this on Thursday mornings. We do it live on on RotoWire YouTube. Uh,
39:19so if you are listening to this on Friday, you can just sort of fact check us. Emanuel Wilson, who's been awesome
39:25the last two weeks, uh, and in terms of expected volume, in terms of role and production, found the end zone again
39:32last week, uh, had the really strong week the week before. Or Bashial Toutin, which way you going here, Wilson or Toutin?
39:39>> Volume's king in fantasy football, hitting 20 carries a game. The only game he didn't was when Jadarian Price was playing and he's nowhere near the field,
39:45so he's on IR. So the floor says Wilson.
39:49>> I'm going Wilson begrudgingly. all the nice things I said about Toutin. But I completely agree with you. Emanuel Wilson has been one of the better
39:55waiverwire pickups of the year because you're getting multiple RB1 weeks out of him. I think you get another top 15 week
40:02from him this week. It's splitting hairs though. If you want to use Tutin, I I do think that they're close enough here,
40:08but I agree with you who's going to get the the touches. And and Jim, here's a philosophical question for you. You like
40:14using Thursday players. I know there's some fantasy managers out there that always like are fearful of Thursday guys. I love using the Thursday players.
40:21There's nothing better than having a lead early in the week. Um but like psychologically if you're if you get a poor performance, it's terrible. You go
40:30through the week sort of and it mess up your decision-m process. Your thoughts on Thursday players?
40:34>> Yeah, you know what? We've been doing this so long, Theo. We've been on the good side of it. We've been on the bad
40:38side of it. And it's just like Sunday.
40:40It's we but we you said psychological is the problem. If you want your player and you have them ranked head, you play him
40:46on Thursday. it and live with the result.
40:49>> I also think there's something to be said where in today's NFL where guys take knocks and and it's sort of ever
40:54evolving news cycle using the healthy player on a Thursday night and not having to ever worry about the injury report late in the week. Uh bird in the
41:03hand so to speak. So there you go. And plus we love the rush Jim. We love the rush action Thursday night. We're
41:09chasing it on Thursday nights. Here is a a shout out to our guy Michael Lobin who's very active in these RotoWire
41:15chats. Would you consider playing B? No, we're not sitting Z Flowers this ever.
41:19We're playing Z Flowers all the time. Z Flowers, Declan Doyle, a match made in heaven here. We'll continue to uh to use
41:26him every week with confidence. Flowers is easily a top 10, if not top six wide receiver rest of the season. Here's one.
41:34Jameus Winston playing great lately, putting up passing numbers and gets a home game and a revenge game against a former team in New Orleans. Tyler Shuck,
41:43who goes headto-head with Jameus Winston. Uh, and then we've got Aaron Rogers. Touchdownheavy scoring format.
41:48Okay, so we're chasing touchdowns here.
41:50We're going with Jameus Winston at home.
41:54All right. I I need this for the audience. The audience needs because they're going to be talking about Winston all week. Last week, Winston
42:01caught the biggest fortune ever. So, what happened was they were down like three touchdowns, right? And so, they put So, what the Giants do is they put
42:08an extra tight end on the field, which you don't supposed to do. You put more receivers. So, what does Washington do?
42:14Washington should be dropping seven because they have to pass every down.
42:17Dan Quinn, moronic. He brings an extra heavy body on. One less player in the secondary. Makes it super easy for Jamus
42:25to shred him because he didn't have enough defenders in the secondary. Dan Quinn botched that game. Jamus was horrible in the first half. He a
42:32coaching error that didn't go any other side. So, right now, Tyler Shuck should go off here. He's going to throw his 40
42:38passes. He's got his great receivers.
42:40The Giants secondary is overrated. They had that one big week. I'm telling you, don't go back to Jamus here. The coaching of Washington allowed that
42:48second half to happen.
42:50>> We're not going to be talking about Dan Quinn next year because he's going to get fired at the end of the year.
42:54>> Hopefully next week.
42:55>> Tyler Shuck, Jameus Winston I feel like is close. I think that like I'll have Jameus Winston a little bit ahead of
43:00consensus. Tyler Shuck um a little bit below. I think they're both in that high-end QB2 range. I'm gonna roll with the home quarterback here, but you're
43:09right. I mean, it's probably in terms of uh pass volume, it's probably Shuck. Um, a lot of pressure on these Saints to get
43:16a win here. A lot of pressure on the Giants. Giants are feeling good about things though, coming from 14 points down, get the tie. I think that was they
43:23were like dead to rights in that one.
43:25But yeah, not a great thing with Quinn.
43:27Uh, very quick thoughts on Olly Gordon, who I recommended as a trade target.
43:32Love what I'm seeing out of Gordon. Lad Mani uh for Oi Gordon. I'm I'm making that deal right now in a reed draft
43:38league.
43:39>> You know, I want to say something about Ali Gordon. I told people I said they're like, "Well, if Devon Achan couldn't get
43:4411 points a game, how is Ali Gordon going to do anything?" And I didn't know if it'd be him or Jaylen Wright, but I
43:50said defenses were completely going to sell out to stop Achan. No defense carried about Ali Gordon. They're not going to care about Ali Gordon. So Ali
43:59Gordon's going to have plenty of room to run. And Ali Gordon, he has more points in each of the last three games than
44:04Devon Aan had in any of his games because the defenses do not care. You take that to the bank on Ali Gordon.
44:11Tyler Shuck or Jaylen Herz. And I think people are worried about Jaylen Herz.
44:15Obviously, we've got issues in in Philadelphia. Um Herz has a nice schedule the last next few weeks, but I I said that it's sort of a potential
44:25sell the optimism of the upcoming schedule. Uh there's issues in Philadelphia.
44:32You could maybe get Devont Smith back soon. You got Dallas Scott back, but I don't have a whole lot of trust. I think
44:37I'm going Chuck in this one. Your thoughts?
44:40>> Oh, you can't start Jaylen Herz if you have any other option. He I said before the season, Theo, he does not want to
44:47run the ball anymore. He slides three yards for contest. Here are his rushing yards the last three weeks. 28, 25, and 16. And guess what? He's not
44:56passing for yardage. 220 is his high water mark. You cannot start Jaylen Herz unless you have nobody to compare him to.
45:04>> Here you go. This is a a PPR superflex four-point passing touchdown. Start Sam Darnold at Denver or the Baltimore Ravens quarterback at Cleveland. Um so
45:16we're looking at Darnold. This is really a Darnold or Tyler Huntley decision because if Lamar starts, we're starting Lamar. Uh your thoughts on this one?
45:25Yeah, but the question is the injury, right? Because he wants to save the Baltimore quarterback. And you know what, Darnold, he gets his touchdowns to
45:34JSN. I get it. He doesn't do a whole lot else. And I think this is going to be a low volume game. I don't think either
45:40team has to air it out here. And I know Certan's out. I get that. I I am going to take the Baltimore quarterback. I
45:46would rather take a chance at Lamar plays over putting Darnold in.
45:50>> Rest of the season rankings, Bo Nicks or Aaron Rodgers?
45:54>> Aaron Rogers. Yeah, I this this uh this this person in um YouTube chat traded Bo Knicks for Aaron Rogers in a Superflex
46:02league. I think we're there. Bo Knicks doesn't look right. Not a lot of talk, not as not as much talk. I know the
46:08Denver media and the Denver Broncos fans extremely critical, but there's not as much like overall criticism because uh of how bad Justin Herbert has been.
46:18Herbert really uh you know taking one for the team here in terms of being like the really criticized uh quarterback in
46:24terms of where people are drafting him.
46:25But Bo Knicks really really poor start to the season.
46:29This is one more question here from YouTube. Is this a start three wide receiver format? Brock Pury, uh Chase Brown, Cam Scataboo, Drake London. Uh
46:40hold on, let me read this one. He wants to know if he should be making any moves. Basically, I think the question
46:45here, Jim, um, we want your opinion on Chase Brown here because he's got a bunch of guys in the chat that I know
46:51we're pretty confident in. Your thoughts on Chase Brown. Um, are we going to see a bounceback here? Last week, this is
46:58not how the game was supposed to go.
47:00Chase Brown, we had the really big receiving week, then played Miami. We thought this is a week where Chase Brown could put up a really strong score, but
47:08we saw Sam Perine have his strongest usage of the entire year. And per not only outrushes Chase Brown, >> plays equal amount of snaps essentially,
47:20but he catches a touchdown as well. So about as tilting as it gets for Chase Brown managers. Now you got the by-week
47:26and I think there's two trains of thought that Chase Brown's going to come out of the by-week and it's going to be
47:30the same as we saw the last two years.
47:32Second half of the year, we'll just get things right and the backloaded scoring is basically what Chase Brown does. The other train of thought is we're going to
47:39see this what we saw against Miami.
47:41We're going to see that uh more often with Sam Perine getting an elevated role. Your thoughts on what's going to happen in Cincinnati, your trust level
47:48for Chase Brown. Last year, last week I do these videos, these emergency flexes.
47:53In a video, I said start um if you were last week's I said start Pine. Now, I didn't see 14 carries coming, but I did
47:59see that he's getting a roll. Even before last week's 51% of the snaps, Prine had 40, 32, and 36. So, that was
48:06mirroring last year. He's getting snaps.
48:09Um, all that said, out of the buy, the the Bengals have to completely fix their offense. They they need to be supernova.
48:18They're going to go more to the spread and more to the shotgun. That's going to get Chase Brown back as a receiver.
48:23Remember, he averaged five catches a game from week 139 on last year. Expect that to return. Chase Brown will be fine. Peran's going to play and he's
48:31going to take some production away, but the receptions are going to go way up for Chase Brown. They've been lower except for an 11 catch game. They're
48:38going to be going up. Stick with Chase Brown. He's fine.
48:41>> Yeah, it's really Chase Brown's been saved like in the overall counting stats because he's got a 15% target share. Um
48:46and I agree with you, Chase Brown will be fine, but it's still an ugly pick where people were taking him. People were taking him
48:51like 10th overall, right? Um Chase Brown ahead of Kenneth Walker in a ton of drafts late in the summer, right?
48:57>> Um here we go. This is uh one more. Uh let's get this one. Actually, this is a good question because it's Brillan
49:02Allen. We'll go rapid fire on this one for Chris because you put a super chat and also uh Chris is a really good
49:08commenter. Uh Brilen Allen, Blake Cororum, Damen Pierce, or Trey Tucker?
49:12It's Brilen Allen. Any any you want to differ with me on that one?
49:16>> Brillin Allen.
49:17>> And then we're going to go uh Cousins, Michael Pennix, or Winston? It's Cousins.
49:21>> It's Cousins for me as well. He's bouncing back here.
49:24>> Here's one. Coker Wilson. Emanuel Wilson or AJ Brown if he plays.
49:31>> Well, if you got to make the decision Thursday because Emanuel Wilson plays Thursday, you got to play him.
49:38>> Here's one. And I and I put the Colts and I do this this defensive streamer show every week. And this is the only
49:43week that I've said the word Indianapolis Colts. I guess two words, Indianapolis Colts, because we're fading Tennessee, especially in formats where uh defensive
49:54like overall like points allowed are is really like a big marker of your scoring success. Um Tennessee just can't score, but Indianapolis has not been a defense
50:03that's really produced at any anything.
50:05Your thoughts on using them as a streamer this week in fantasy matchups?
50:09>> Could you see Sauce Garner getting a pick six? I could see him totally jumping around, totally seeing what Ward wants to do. say, "Oh, I know what
50:16you're doing." Stepping in front into housing it. That was That's worth it. I would try it.
50:20>> Talk it into existence, Jim. Talk it into existence.
50:22>> I think I just did. Manifestation.
50:24>> Manifest it. Manifest it. Here's one tight end or this is a tight end and I guess a flex question. Okay. Um Tyler
50:31Higgby, who's been awesome for three straight weeks. Chiga Conquo who wasn't like a massive scoring not line but I think a very positive uh start
50:42from Chika Conquo considering it was Jaden Daniels and him. Um and then Roma Duna who you talked about earlier.
50:48>> I think I'm going Tyler Higgby again.
50:50I'm riding the hot hand and and Higgby's role looks awesome right now.
50:53>> Oh yeah. Higgby is a big deal in that offense. McVey has always loved him.
50:57Parkinson's still dinged up. Davis Allen I know big deal but he's probably not playing here. They need Higgby.
51:04Okay, here's one. We'll go rapid fire on this one. Should I trade Christian McAffrey and Malik Neighbors for Justin Jefferson? Um, I can't I can't even
51:14understand this. Ashton Genty just uh >> Oh, okay. No, it's an or. It's an ore.
51:21>> It's I bet. Okay. So, you're trying this this manager is talking about trading for Genty and Mike Evans and Bree Hall. And
51:30it would be Christian McAffrey and one of these elite wide receivers for Ashton Genty, Mike Evans, and Bree Hall. I'm gonna stick with my Christian McAffrey
51:39and two elite. Yeah. So, there we go.
51:40Same.
51:41>> Okay. Jaden Daniels or Trevor Lawrence this week.
51:45>> You know what? I'm going with Trevor Lawrence. Jaden Daniels ran for 100 yards last week. Nobody defended him on the Giants. Fred Warner is not going to
51:52let him run for those 50 yard touchdowns. I talked about this on my defensive show, how San Francisco defense is still in play. They played
52:01awesome last week against uh Seattle forced a ton of turnovers, got a bunch of sacks, and then Jaden Daniels, like you said, it was sort of like hero ball
52:10where those huge long rushes against New York. Um I worry a little bit about Washington in this one. I think it could
52:16get out of hand. Uh San Francisco's also going to put a ton of pressure on them.
52:19I think Pertie and the passing game with KD and Evans and McCaffrey out of the back field are going to really put
52:25pressure on them. It could create situations where the pass rush and potential picks for Daniels in this one.
52:31So, I'm with you. We're going Taw. One more. Uh, we already took that one.
52:35Bryce Young or Tyler Shuck?
52:38>> Man, I got Bryce Young a little bit ahead of Tyler Shuck, but I got him like back to back in my rankings. So,
52:44>> I'm gonna I'm gonna go I'm gonna go Bryce in this one.
52:46>> Me, too.
52:46>> Uh, yeah. I think and and post byee Brad I idz Dave Canales post by week. We're feeling good about things with this
52:54Carolina team.
52:55>> Yeah.
52:55>> Um >> let's find a couple more.
52:59>> Really appreciate all these. Wish we could get to everyone's questions, but we got stuff to do. We got rankings to
53:03update over rotoire.com. Uh look for my flex rankings and Jim's flex rankings.
53:09If you want access to all of your start decisions, no better way than just using our flex rankings. We're dropping those
53:15every week. Plus, you get access to Jagger May, Jeff Ericson, Ian Harditis, uh, and more. And all of our amazing tools over at Rotoire. There's here,
53:24let's put a >> Theo, I put something there real quick.
53:26I I want to make a quick statement.
53:28>> I hit that by >> I apologize to everybody for the Hampton take. It was my flag plant.
53:32>> No, no, no. Hold on a second.
53:33>> It broke down. No, I I real quick want to say that. Um, look what I broke down.
53:37Hampton was getting about 16 PPR points a game last year and that was after a broken ankle and his situation, I
53:43thought the line couldn't be worse. it was that bad. But I just want to take accountability for it. I I can't
53:49understand what happened there. I know the line is bad. [clears throat] It was worse than I ever thought. But um all
53:54that said, I do apologize. I sold that to a lot of people and I do take accountability for it. I just don't know
54:00where it went wrong.
54:02>> I I I appreciate the accountability and we do own our losses over here, but I'll say Jim's track record is is really
54:08really strong over the years. So, you're going to get way more right than you get wrong. Sorry about those Omar and
54:13Hampton main event shares. I have a main event team with Hampton as well that's sort of hanging on. He's on my bench
54:20this week. Uh we'll see how that one turns out. Got I got two NFC prime time teams in the top 21 overall though.
54:26Right now, Jim running pure right now.
54:29So running pure over on that other format. Uh flex spot. Daltton Kaid >> Jaylen Wadd or Emanuel Wilson. I'm going Emanuel Wilson here. The expected
54:39volume. I do think King Kaid bounces back. He has to, >> you know, he's got to 100%. But Emanuel Wilson, we're going with war on that
54:47one. And here's people getting your back here. Mike McDaniel is a fraud.
54:51Certainly looks that way. Um, and Steven says a lot of people are dumbfounded on the Hampton take. It's incredibly odd.
54:58It's incredibly odd how they're attempting to use Omar and Hampton. Um, I mean, if we switched Mike McDaniel and Greg Roman right now, how much better
55:07would the Chargers be? How much better would the Chargers be?
55:10>> My gosh. Um, he ruined Justin Herbert.
55:13>> I know. I know.
55:14>> He looks like he lost every shred of confidence he had.
55:17>> Yeah, it's uh it's it's it's tough tough sledding. Here's one. Jawan Johnson or Josh DS this week. Look, I love Jawan
55:26Johnson. This is a Josh DS game. This sets up perfectly for Josh DS. They're playing Tennessee. They can't cover. The pass rush is inconsistent. They're going
55:35to get a shot or two to him this week.
55:38>> Uh here we go. Another um Tyler Higgby question. Michael Mayer or Tyler Higgby in half point PPR. We're going we're
55:44going Tyler Higgby who's on a on a generational run the last three weeks, especially in tight end premium leagues.
55:51He's like one of the FFPC waiverwire pickups of the year right now over what he's done those last three weeks. Um I'm
55:56going with Higgby in this one. Do you have any anything to add on Michael Mayer?
56:01>> No. No. Higgy's like a top 10 tight end.
56:03This he is a top 10 tight end until they get all their dudes back.
56:07>> Nothing on Mayor. Nothing on there.
56:08Mayor's going to get some work, but Higgby is like a main cog of that offense.
56:13>> Yeah. No, no, for sure. Um, here's we'll take like just a couple more and then we're going to wrap things up. Awesome
56:19stuff. Um, George Pickkins or Luther Burden?
56:24>> George Pickkins is back.
56:25>> George Pickkins. George Pickkins.
56:26>> He's back.
56:27>> All the way back. All the way back. And then this is a tight end versus wide receiver question in the flex. Do we go
56:35with Brentton Strange who's been playing really really well or Carnell Tate in this sort of boom bust nature very talented player in an awful situation?
56:44I'm going Brentton Strange. I think Brenton Strange is really trending up.
56:50He is now there's going to be a week where the targets aren't there. There's going to be a game plan we don't know
56:54about and it's going to happen. But I'm not I'm against Houston that is a place you want to attack. So I'm going Brett
57:00and Strange as well. We're getting so many of the we're we're starting to repeat questions. I guess it's time to wrap up the show, but Jaylen Wadd,
57:07Jeremy Bernard, we covered that earlier with Jeremy Bernard. We're we're both high on Jeremy this week. Um, really strong stuff. Jim, let everybody know
57:14what you have coming out rest of the week.
57:16>> Yeah, on the exit Jim Coventry NFL, you can get the hubing three threads a day.
57:21I give you short videos also on TikTok at Jim Coventry NFL. Like Theo said earlier, SiriusXM fantasy sports radio.

58:45We'll see you soon.
