0:03live drafting an FFPC main event draft.
0:06Theo Greinger, lead fantasy analyst right here at Rotoire, joined today by Scott Barrett of Fantasy Points. We are attempting to take down a million
0:14dollars. Scott, I had the two spot with Mike Schop the other night. We're in the four spot. We t we've been talking about
0:21this for about half an hour arguing out a couple of picks, but I like where we're sitting because we actually have
0:26options and it's not one of these things where we're like, "Oh, the board could actually fall to us." I think we'll have
0:31like two or three guys at four that are in play for me. Your thoughts on picking out of the four spot?
0:36>> Yeah, this is great. Over on the Fantasy Points YouTube channel, we drafted a main event team from the eight spot and
0:43we got kept getting sniped all day.
0:45Fantasy Sopranos was sniping us. uh two other highstakes legends on either side of us sniping us all draft. So uh yeah,
0:54hope hoping to run a little bit pure and yeah, I really like the 104 spot because that typically gives us
1:03probably Puka Nua or Brock Bowers or CMC which uh you know I think is great.
1:08Yeah.
1:09>> Okay. So for me it's we're talking about Puka or Brock Bowers. We're OTC. It sort of played out the way we wanted here.
1:16Uh, I'm open-minded to this one. I know you have a lot of you have a lot of conviction when it comes to Puka here or
1:24you want to put in a Bower share. I mean, I think Brock Bowers is going to end up breaking fantasy this year at the
1:31tight end position. It's tight end premium. Puka, we know what he is.
1:36We have the potential suspension. You seem to think it's going to be a game if it's anything. Yeah, I I know you
1:42weren't expecting this, Theo, but I feel like I have to argue for a tight end here, and that's my guy, Pat Frimouth.
1:49>> No, no, no. We got 10 20 seconds here, Scott.
1:52>> Puka, bro, we talked about this on the phone for 30 minutes.
1:54>> I know. I know. I know. Okay. All right.
1:56So, so what I was saying, what I've been arguing is like, >> why does Jamar Chase go ahead of Puka in
2:0297% of these drafts? I don't know that that's right because Jamar Chase has outscored Shawn McVeyy's wide receiver one in only one of five career seasons
2:12and it's like oh well Puka Naku is injuryprone so is Joe Burrow. Uh and so yeah I I I feel good about this. I
2:21honestly might have taken Puka we were the 103. So um this this feels good to me. I I like Brock Bowers. I like Trey
2:29McBride. I like these guys. But to me, the the real value in this tight end premium format are the middle round
2:38tight ends, and I want to load up on the middle round tight end. So, I don't necessarily want to lock myself into a
2:43tight end this early in the draft.
2:45>> Well, you know, team five got Brock Bowers. I'll say Pukanakua is a a lunatic and Jamar Chase is a is a is a
2:52soldier, a boy scout. Let you don't have to worry about a single thing with Jamar Chase.
2:56>> Yeah. There's like a 15% chance of a oneame suspension. It's not really something that >> No, but okay. But then we got Puka Duo
3:05running into >> when was fully healthy last year, he outscored Jamar Chase by like five fantasy points per game. He was
3:11incredible. And so that kind of matters a little bit more to me. The in a in a format where you're trying to win the
3:18the tournament bonus rounds and get a million dollar grand prize. I don't care about, oh, maybe he sits out week one.
3:25Jamar Chase certainly has never put up a spike week in his life, Scott. We've never seen a It's a 40-pointer from
3:30Jamar Chase.
3:31>> One of five career seasons has he outscored the Shawn McVey wide receiver one. And yeah.
3:37>> Okay. Well, >> Cup do and Puka is better than him. So, >> and and I will say I do think it's a I'm
3:42I'm sort of fading Devonte Adams. I think the fact that they messed around with AJ Brown, they were linked to Mai
3:49Lemon. I think it could be elite usage for Puka. could be his 20 is this could be his Cooper Cup year. This could be
3:552021 Cooper Cup. The usage could be incredible. I do think with Cincinnati, you're getting an offense that I think is going to score more points this year.
4:03I think that the Rams defense is locked and loaded, but it doesn't matter. Puka and Jamar Chase are both really good
4:08picks. Brock Bowers is as well. We sort of mapped out round two. Uh if you're listening on the podcast, come check out
4:14the YouTube feed. Um the the we'll kind of try to talk openly, but we don't want to get sniped tonight, Scott. So, we
4:21will kind of refrain. Uh, Scott is open-minded to tight ends in multiple pockets of the draft. So, if you want to
4:26snipe us, you got to reach well ahead of us and go ahead take take Pat Fmouth in round 15. That's that's your Exodia
4:33tight end.
4:33>> These guys really reach though, right?
4:35They're all just ADP slaves in a hundred different drafts and then just they just they just draft all the ADP followers.
4:42Isn't that right?
4:43>> No. You know, I I'd say that we have seen some crazy wild drafts lately cuz I think people are getting a little
4:48worried about it running back this year.
4:50So, you're seeing some like running backs getting pushed up. I was in a main event the other day night with Mike
4:54Schop and we saw Chase Brown at the 104 and the drafter went Chase Brown, Coloulston Lovelin, Tyler Warren, T.
5:02Higgins, and it was like a really interesting build. But I think people get worried when they're picking from the four five spot where they they think
5:11they have to push a running back up because Scott, we've seen some scenarios where it the 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 are
5:18straight running backs and then you end up with a position where you're in round three and you're chasing running back.
5:24Maybe you don't like a couple of the options on the board. So, we're I think we're open-minded. We have a couple of
5:29contingency plans at every single position.
5:33There's different ways to win in this format. Anybody who hasn't played FFPC, you can go use the code Theo25, get $25
5:40free dollars off it. Sign up. It's a great place to play. Scott and I have a >> promo code points uh for
5:46>> or you know, Theo25. They they don't give Scott his own code. They give the whole company. Theo gets his own one
5:51here. So, shout out to the guys. No, but in all all seriousness, we're going to draft another uh FFPC main event team
5:57with a big baga. I think that's going to be over on Scott's uh Scott's channel.
6:02I've been over there a couple times in the >> You get the rebar one.
6:06>> Well, we we got to we got to talk this out. Maybe we should let Maybe we should let Abib and and Rich choose whose
6:11channel they want to go on [laughter] like a like divorced parents or something like that. Boy.
6:15>> Okay. So, this is what I'm talking about. Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown, James Cook go 12, 13, 14. So, you're going to see the gravitational pull.
6:23Scott, we got to be on our toes here. Uh >> the most shocking thing to me.
6:28>> What's that? Ash and GT at 107. I know you had Ryan Pagnetti on. Uh I just had him on my show again and uh he he
6:38monologued for like 20 minutes on Ash and GT and I don't know how you can listen to that not move Ash and GT
6:45multiple spots down your rankings.
6:48>> Scott, are you also loading guys in the queue here or are you just >> No, I'm not touching it.
6:53>> I mean, okay. I Okay. Hey, I have to >> Yeah, it's a, you know, it's a nice thing that when you have a partner who's
6:58who's chipping in when we're when we're doing the stream together. Um, but neither here nor there. We we have three guys in the queue. I'm adding a four.
7:06I'm adding the contingency plan, guys.
7:09Uh, there's a couple of of guys that would be really nice. I have four guys in the queue and we are four picks,
7:17three picks away. So, I think we're going to get serious. Absolutely. one of them.
7:21And I guess I will throw in the Ryan Heath favorite just to >> go.
7:25>> Okay. So, we we'll see which way this play goes.
7:30>> Drake London would have been a fun pick for us. We were talking about him earlier today in a combination with
7:35Pukakua. That could have been really, really effective.
7:43All right, so we see Saquon Barkley, Drake London go off the board. Chase Brown, James Cook, CD Lamb, Devon Achan, Justin Jefferson before those guys. We
7:53are one pick away. We're drafting for a million dollars. This is a 20 $2,200 entry fee. We have to win our league,
8:01Scott, or at least finish second to get a chance. And then there is a playoff where we can get in as well. Uh, very
8:07challenging format. It's tight end premium, so tight ends go off the board early. This drafter is taking their time. Scott, the chat does not like how
8:15you pronounce Ashen Genty.
8:17>> I know. I know. I know. I I Ashton Genty. I don't I don't know why I do that. Legar Blount. I said that for like
8:25five years.
8:26>> Okay. So, I I this is this is very easily for me. Omar and Hampton.
8:32>> So, it's Hampton for me.
8:34>> Sure. You sure it's not Malik Hers?
8:36>> I mean, I like >> I think that's fine. I think it's I think Yeah, I think we talked about this
8:40for 30 minutes on the phone. it makes more sense to go Omar and Hampton here and then potentially get another running
8:47back in the next round.
8:48>> Yeah. And I think I think the next round we're sort of wide open if we take Hampton here. I I'm I think you like a
8:53couple of the running backs the four five turn as well. I'll bring up Coloulston Lovelin. 28 seconds to go just as a consideration here. Or do you
9:00want to go Hampton?
9:01>> Again, I I I don't like the round one through three tight ends, but then I want to load up. Okay.
9:08>> I want to go crazy. Um, I think that I think this is structurally I'm gonna go Hampton because I like a couple tight
9:14end options as well. I've taken >> Hampton or neighbors. I think Hampton makes the most sense for our build and what we're trying to do and the value
9:21that's that's later. I I've drafted a ton of FFPC teams. I've had a ton of success over the years. top 15 finishes
9:28and uh it's I don't draft anywhere near as many teams as Ethio, but my best teams are always the quantity over
9:36quality at the tight end position teams.
9:39Uh a lot of that has to do with positional scarcity. And so yeah, and and and I have reservations about Koula.
9:46I get I certainly get the upside, but it really feels like he's priced at a ceiling. There's there's no there's no
9:52wiggle room for downside if you know Cole KT is more involved than people would like because let's not forget he it took until week 15 for him to eclipse
10:02a 60% rous share in a game Cole KT played. So um so yeah I feel good about that pick.
10:09>> May I remind you that we have a a dynasty league in FFPC >> where we took Lovelin. Yeah. Okay. Just
10:16want to throw that out there. Loveland in Dynasty, but this is a reddraft team and so we're going to fight. I like the
10:21older guy. I think there's some good value with some of these older guys. You call me a boomer drafter. You don't like
10:27the old guys at all. You want to go young and pretend this is a dynasty team.
10:32>> Well, I I don't want to pretend it's a dynasty team. I want to win some money here. I do think I'm higher on
10:37Coloulston Love than you are. And also like we need like an intervention. I talked to Ryan Heath about this one about how Scott's fading Coloulston
10:43Lovelin and I think a lot of people are really worried about you on that one.
10:46George Pickins goes to Fantasy Sopranos who's in every single draft. We are three picks away here. Uh I'm going to throw a couple guys in the queue.
10:56>> I mean there's one player that I think is really boring but I think he'd be really helpful to us here and I'll talk
11:01about him when we're OTC. Let's see uh where we're at here. I I feel like we don't have any pressure on us
11:08positionally because we're so balanced, Scott. And the fact that I think we're open-minded to running backs and tight ends at the the in the fourth round, the
11:17fifth round, the sixth round, seventh round that I think we're sort of let's take best available here, the the pick that we feel like is the biggest edge
11:25and kind of run with that. There's one really interesting tight end potential pick here that I want to talk out when
11:33we're OTC that I know you you're not in love with, but I think could be a really fun one for us to have. And I have two
11:39wide receivers in the queue.
11:40>> Eating cotton candy for dinner. I feel like we got to eat our vegetables here and take a wide receiver or running
11:47back. But but I get it. I mean, you can talk me into it if you if you really feel a ton of conviction. The guys I'm
11:53going to cape up for are guys we could potentially get in round four.
11:59>> Okay, this is pretty easy for me, Scott.
12:02Um, we went away from Brock Bowers in round one. Uh, I think this is Tyler Warren here. I think this opens you up
12:10to some running backs that you like that are going to be there in round four and round five. And Chris Chris, Nico
12:17Collins, George Pickins, Malik Neighbors, AJ Brown all go. I don't think there's a edge pick at wide receiver here. I think the edge is
12:24actually Tyler Warren. I'm gonna cape up for him pretty hard here.
12:28>> All right, let's let's do it. Let's make the fun sexy pick. Let's let's have fun for for once. You know, I'm not going to
12:35be uh you know, the stern uh parent. I'll be a fun parent.
12:42>> Okay. I I think it's also it's also like you know this is also a player who as appealing as Trey McBride is in in the
12:51beginning of of round two the end of round one in this draft doesn't Trey McBride have some I mean doesn't doesn't
12:58Tyler Warren have some potential Trey McBride like runouts in like the range of outcomes this year where you >> I mean like I I don't get why Coulson
13:07Leland goes ahead of him in every single draft. It feels really tight to me.
13:11Tyler Warren, his final year of college, had the most yards from scrimmage of any power conference tight end ever. And then last year, before Daniel Jones
13:21fractured his fibula, he led all tight ends and receiving yards. He was ahead of Trey McBride. His yards per route run
13:27was higher than rookie season Brock Bowers. And then if you factor in all the games that were started by a literal
13:35grandfather at quarterback, he's still finished with the fifth most fantasy points of any rookie tight end all time.
13:42And now you have Michael Pitman and he's 20% target share, no longer in the picture. Alec Pierce, you know, maybe not fully 100% healthy. He could be an
13:51absolute PPR cheat code. And I don't see anywhere near as much downside. Maybe Lovelin has a little bit more upside uh
13:58in the better offense, but but certainly nowhere near as much downside, I think, as Coulson Lovelin. So, I I love Tyler
14:05Warren, the player. Um it's really just reminiscent to me, Theo. I remember in our draft over on the Fantasy Points channel, we took Jaden Daniels in like
14:15round seven, round eight, and we're like, "Whoa, what a value." And then it's round 14, round 15, we're like, "Ah, this team would look so much better
14:21if we took a running back or wide receiver there." I'm worried that's going to be the case because I am going
14:26to cape up hard for Harold Fannon Jr.
14:30for Tucker Craft, for George KD, for uh Isaiah likely, for Dallas Goddard, for Terren Ferguson because I told you over the phone that's where I see the biggest
14:40edge in FFPC drafts this year. I think the round five through 10 tight ends are really inappropriately priced. I think that's where the best value is. And now
14:50that we have Tyler Warren, you're going to be arguing No, I don't I don't I don't think that I I I'm I'm with you. I
14:57actually have made a lot of statements that I think, >> you know, my my loyal listeners here at at Rotoire, they've they've heard me say
15:04this is the year of the tight end. I think we're going to see multiple in regular PPR scoring, I think we're going
15:09to see multiple uh 15 plus point per game scorers at the tight end position.
15:14Higher on you than Coulson Lovelin. Uh Brock Bowers, I think, is Brock Bowers.
15:18Trey McBride is Trey McBride. And Scott, I'll actually ask your opinion on this one. like we sort of bashed the the
15:24Carson Beck and and I know that was sort of a the two of us and Brett Whitefield when I was at Fantasy Point sort of
15:30talking about how we we thought the Carson Beck stuff the the steam that he might go at the beginning of the second
15:35round was kind of ridiculous. But I thought Carson Beck looked okay the other day. I don't think that a Carson Beck runout is going to completely tank
15:43Trey McBride. I think McBride is kind of too big to fail. But Beck for me looked pretty good the other day in a preseason
15:48game. Yeah, he he looked really good in like a you two quarter sample size up against second and third.
15:56>> Uh but we have a much larger sample size of him looking like a sub mediocre day three talent who got overdrafted by a
16:05bad franchise. I will say that scares the [ __ ] out of me with Trey McBride because the biggest cheat code in DFS
16:12for years was anytime Jacobe Brassette starts, play his tight end in DFS. And so if there's a runout where Carson Beck
16:20is starting uh the second half of the season for the Arizona Cardinals, that's like me shaving six fantasy points per game off of Trey McBride's projection.
16:30So that that's a little worry. I I know he looked good. I know there were some backers. Ryan Pagnetti was a big Carson
16:36Beck backer, but I got to trust my guy Brett who again had a day three grade on Carson Beck.
16:43>> Well, there you go. Scott Barrett disagreeing with me adamantly that I thought he looked all right. And I was I
16:47realize that this is backups, but it's it's his first game as a pro. He showed a willingness to push the ball
16:53downfield. You just brought up Ryan Paganetti was all over it and said he thinks people are are sort of underestimating this Arizona. It doesn't
16:59matter. We have Trey McBride on our other main event team through three rounds. Scott Barrett and I have Omar and Hampton in round two, Tyler Warren
17:07in round three to go with Puka Nakua in round one. I think Scott, there's a chance that we drafted the tight end one
17:12overall and the wide receiver one overall with a running back that could score 15 touchdowns this year. And I think, you know, a year from now, we
17:21might be talking about, do we consider Omaran Hampton at like the 105? That's how good a season I think he could have.
17:26I understand there's some downside risk, but Mike McDaniel offenses just print when it comes to running backs. And I'll bring up another preseason takeaway.
17:35Kamani Videll was out there playing when they benched everyone else. So the idea that Yeah, I think that was a signal for
17:41us.
17:42>> Uh we got to start loading the queue a little bit. We are >> six picks away.
17:49>> See Javvante Williams go at the beginning of the fourth round. T Higgins goes at the turn. The drafter at the 12
17:55spot goes Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown, Lad Mccanki, T. Higgins. I like the value they got with T. Higgins there. We see a wide receiver run at the end of
18:04round three with Zflower, Zcha Igbuka, Garrett Wilson, Lad Manki, T. Higgins, we're going to see wide receivers start to fly off the board. We're anticipating
18:11another running back run. Uh Bree Hall falls to the 308. Jeremiah Love at the 306. Scott, is that about in line where
18:19you've got those guys or did you push him down a little further with the uh injury worries?
18:24>> Well, I I was a big Jeremiah Love hater from the start, so you know that. So, he was already >> pretty far down in my ranks. Bree Hall,
18:32I I I don't think I moved at all actually, but that was more just like I don't know. He was maybe in a tier and I
18:38dropped him down to the start of another tier.
18:42>> Okay, so we are five picks away here, Scott. I'm gonna >> You promised me my guy is going to be
18:48here, Theo.
18:48>> Well, I hope he's going to be here. He might be gone. I said I said I think >> What are the odds? I think I'd put it at
18:5345%.
18:54>> I'm going to say 60%. I'm going to say 60%.
18:57>> All right.
18:58>> There's been some notable fading of him.
19:00Did you move DJ Moore up in your rankings? Just curious.
19:04Um, no. But I if he has another showing like he did, I'm gonna have to capitulate a little bit. Brett was really impressed
19:14by his film. So maybe he's not washed.
19:18Maybe he was just playing through a weird what was it? A [laughter] testicular injury last year.
19:24>> It wasn't great. It wasn't great. Uh, let's leave it at that. Josh Allen still on the board here. Scott, dare to dream
19:30the impossible dream.
19:31>> Oh, please. [laughter] No.
19:32>> No. I'm not going to force that one, but I will say >> I I couldn't believe it. We took Jaden
19:36Daniels felt like such a good value. And you >> Josh Jacobs goes Josh Jacobs goes.
19:40>> Awful. Awful.
19:41>> Okay. So, I think >> Hey, hey, one of my Hey, I there's one more guy who you know I love
19:46>> who's going to be sitting there at the 504. He's not going to >> Don't you lie to me. You say that and
19:50then they never fall and then you make me take Trayvon Henderson.
19:54>> No, I will not make you take Tr TVon tonight. We took Trayvon Henderson.
19:56>> I'm never going to talk to you again.
19:58The friendship's over if if we take Trayvon Henderson. We took Trayvon Henderson notably. It's been a a real contentuous contentious argument between Scott and I all
20:08offseason long. I still believe that upside wins championships in fantasy football. Scott believes in the older guys who are a little bit injured. Tedo
20:17McMillan, Josh Allen go off the board.
20:19Josh Jacobs, three guys that I had in the queue. Uh where are you at on Tedo McMillan this year? Uh Scott, if you
20:25could take a look at the guys that I have in the queue now, see if you want to add anyone else in. If T McMillan's
20:32quarterback wasn't the worst starter in the league, I'd be really bullish on him. But alas, >> no, dude. What the heck? No. No.
20:41>> Okay, so I'll take I'll take this guy out.
20:43>> No.
20:45>> I mean, it's a absolutely disgusting.
20:47I'm going to take You want You want number two in the queue?
20:50>> There's There's three guys in the queue.
20:52Those those are your options.
20:53>> One is one is the one is the clear pick for us. Uh, >> that's an >> I would like I worry about the lack of
21:01running backs after the Travon Henderson pick.
21:05>> Well, I think we've got a fa we've we've got a failsafe running back that's going to be there at the 504 that we both
21:11like.
21:13>> All right, we just we're forced into it now.
21:16>> Oh god, it's disgusting.
21:18>> It's not at all. Okay, >> I would take this running back over Kyron Williams easily over Devonte Williams maybe over Jeremiah Love.
21:27>> Okay. I don't I don't love either of these guys. I I I I think that the at least the the top one I can sort of get
21:35behind a little bit. Uh do you like you want to go with number two over number one here?
21:41>> Either one is is fine by me, Theo. Just as long as it's one of those two.
21:45>> Oh Jesus Christ. Um [laughter] >> Oh my god. You're killing me.
21:50>> And you could you could call in this favor.
21:53>> Okay. So, we are going to take Scott Barrett, you or OTC here. Do you want Cam Scataboo or David Montgomery over my
22:01awesome running back who's number three?
22:04>> Your dog [ __ ] running back. Scataboo or three? They both >> Let's go. Let's go Scataboo then. You want to go Scott?
22:09>> That's great. Yeah, great by me. Uh, a guy who you famously refused to let me draft in round nine last year. We'll
22:17take him round four this time.
22:19>> Now, hold on a second. We didn't we we had Cam Scataboo on a number of teams last year. I we wanted to scale it back
22:24like like once and guess what Scott he got hurt. He got hurt. So your big Exodia running back last year got hurt.
22:29So we are we are we lose a little bit of an edge with the Cam Scataboo pick but we gain something
22:36losing of edge.
22:36>> I know. I'm just breaking your balls.
22:38It's fine. It's fine. Okay. So Cam Scataboo is fine. I I'll say Scott.
22:41>> Are you really that upset about it?
22:43>> No, I'm not. I'm I'm way I would have been way more upset by taking one of the older guys. I don't love the run out
22:48with Scataboo here. I worry a little bit about it, but I do think that there's a chance his scoring could be similar to
22:55last year. Let us know in the comments what you think about the Cam Scataboo pick. So, through four rounds, we have
23:00Puka, Omaran Hampton, Tyler Warren, Cam Scataboo. Scott, you said we're not drafting a Dynasty team, but this is a good-looking dynasty team. And I think
23:08we have a chance that all I think that our second, third, and fourth round picks, if we have a run out where Cam
23:15Scaboo stays healthy for the rest of the year, second, third, and fourth round picks could all be drafted earlier next year. So, I think we have some unknown
23:22upside here. We were correct to sort of play the running back.
23:26>> Yeah, Bucky Irving goes in round four.
23:29Are you kidding me?
23:30>> Bucky Irving goes at the 411. There's got to be a main event.
23:32>> Where did your boy Kenneth Gainwell go?
23:34Baker Mayfield said his his talent was almost unbelievable today.
23:39>> I mean, my guy Kenneth Gainwell, he's sort of one of those players where you can't really predict. I I think that if
23:44you want Kenneth Gainwell with this team, you probably might not get him because he's probably going to be gone by the 811. He could be there at the
23:50811. But Bucky, this seems a little early. So, team two goes >> Team two goes Bejian Robinson, AJ Brown, Nico Collins. I love that start. Then
23:58they go Bucky Irving. I think they're worried that the team drafting one is going to go running back running back here. This could be the running back
24:05run, Scott. Um, we have a lot of balance on our team now. We have tight end. We have uh a wide receiver one, alpha, and
24:12puka. And then we see team number one go DJ Moore. So, team two sort of misread that. We'll see if team number one leans
24:19in and goes pure hero RB or do they grab a running back? Mike Schop and I took Bashial Tootin the other day at the 502.
24:27Uh, I know Ryan Heath like and I like him more than Scott does.
24:30>> Even Montgomery goes, I would I would have pounded the table for Montgomery if he if he fell to us. So,
24:35>> might have done you a favor.
24:37>> Well, I think we're we're pretty open in in We could go several directions with this next pick. I'm not against taking a
24:46running back here and continuing to >> I am just because there there's no one else I like. I mean, if this is your guy
24:54who I hate and you know I hate, but you really want to uh pound the table, we can we can ha have that hash that out
25:01here. Um, what about the tight ends? Is is there any chance um Leaporta or Fannon make it back to us in the next round?
25:12>> Okay, so for me, >> the clock, >> yeah, we're OTC here. I I I think that this this pick is is probably
25:22Okay, I'll throw out I'll throw out Christian Watson. I like your idea of Harold Fannon. Uh I'll throw Jadarian Price into the mix, Scott. And I will
25:31say if we take Price, then we are really strong at running back and we kind of push it. But if you want to go with wide
25:38receiver or Fannon, I like the idea of Fannon and and we we really are kind of >> it's it's anyone in this queue is is A+
25:45by me. Terry McLuren, Mike Evans, Parker Washington, Jadarian Price, Harold Fannon, Sam Laaporta. You can make this pick, Theo.
25:55>> I'm very open-minded to several players here.
25:58>> I'll say Terry McLaren is highest by ADP.
26:01>> I think that the I think that the move is >> Price.
26:05>> Yeah, let's take Jarian Price. And I think that >> Damn. All right.
26:08>> It's a It's a little bit early.
26:10>> It's a little bit early, but I think that >> So, we're set at running back. We don't have to do the the the handcuff game
26:17that you know I hate.
26:18>> Well, no. Time out. You take Omari and Hampton, I think it's perfectly reasonable to take Kamani Vidal because it's an elite offense and you have 12
26:28rounds of separation between the two players. And also, if you're going to go fragile at running back, I don't mind cuffing. Now, the the thing that would
26:35be wrong to do would be to double tap the Cam Scataboo situation and take Tyrone Tracy now that Naji Harris is
26:41there. I don't think there's any sort of an edge with handcuffing that, but I do think there's something to be said of
26:46having uh of having a Kamani Vidal here, especially considering that Katon Mitchell is probably going to go round nine or round 10. And if Hampton went
26:55down, Kamani Vidal would be a massive ad. So, we're we're we went leaned into the running back position, which a lot
27:01of people are going to look at this and say, "This is sort of a like what are you guys doing? You're passing on all
27:05this wide receiver talent."
27:08>> So much wide receiver value this year.
27:10If any one of those three guys fall to us, I'm I'm gonna be doing back flips.
27:14>> So, Tyler Warren gives us the structurable structural flexibility that if we do get steamrololled here at tight end, we have Tyler Warren to lean on.
27:23And Scott, we're open-minded to guys like like you said, the Goddards of the world. Um, sixth and seventh round turns, I think we're looking at
27:33wide receiver, tight end would be the ideal runout for us, but I think it could be tight end, tight end, it could
27:38be wide receiver, wide receiver. That's sort of the beautiful thing.
27:40>> Josh round five.
27:42>> That's crazy.
27:44>> Do you know who he just went over? He went over two Exodia wide receivers.
27:49>> Crazy.
27:49>> Josh Josh DS also has to deal with Keenan Allen. I dropped Josh DS in my rankings. I didn't bury him, but Scott,
27:55there's no there like I had somebody sort of laughing at my knocking Josh Downs take and saying, you know, you're allowed to have multiple wide receivers
28:03out on the field, Theo, but like Keenan Allen, there's got to be some overlapping concerns even if you're a big Josh Downs
28:10bull. You've already got Tyler Warren to deal with who's going to be a top three targeted tight end in the NFL this year.
28:16>> Parker Washington goes, that is Scott's guy. We took him multiple drafts. You're going to have to let it go on this one,
28:22Scott. But >> the f the first league I'm in where I don't have Parker Washington.
28:27>> Well, you ended up with the the structural running backs. And I'll say, Scott, you're going to like the the wide
28:32receivers available at the 67 turn.
28:34There's going to be multiple multiple guys here. Uh if you are not subscribed to the channel, do us a favor, hit that
28:40subscribe button. If you're listening on the podcast, do me a favor. Uh hit the fivestar button. Write us a review.
28:45Doesn't cost you anything. Helps us out a lot. And I get to get people like Scott Barrett to join me on this show.
28:50Also, go check out Scott's channel. I'm going to be drafting a main event team with Scott and probably a Bag Batoba.
28:57Shout out to our guy Abib who always runs pure in the FFPC. We usually split a team. Um, make sure you're also
29:03checking out all of the written work we have over at Rotoire. Dan Fornick's offensive line article dropped. And Scott, I dropped my top 26 rankings as
29:12an article. Uh, you got to subscribe for the rest. But did you read my top 26?
29:18>> No. Why why would you do a top 26?
29:20>> Cuz it's 2026. So I give them a little a little write up of the top 26 players for 2026 and then you then it has a link
29:27to go for the top 200. If you want access to my full rankings as well as my FFPC targets, use the code theo35 and
29:35get 35% off. Scott, I actually, you know, like I read I read your article when it dropped. You don't you don't
29:40read my articles when they drop. I guess I didn't I didn't put it out on X.
29:42>> You gota you got to text me. You got to send it. I got check it out. Yeah.
29:46>> Yeah. So, uh, Scott, uh, I have Brett Whitefield coming on later this week.
29:51What should I talk to Brett about?
29:53>> Ask him why he hates Luther Burden because I I don't get it. Ask him why he hates Chicago. All of he hates their
30:00pizza. He hates their quarterback. He hates Luther Burden.
30:04Um, so ask him why he's wrong about Luther Burden. But, uh, yeah, you know, that's a great get for you, Theo. Brett
30:11Whitefield, I I honestly think is the best film guy in the game. I think he's up there with like the Dane Buglers,
30:18Daniel Jeremiah's, Kurt Warers of the world. And you know, he's not really a known name, but he's he's really I think
30:25the best. His only miss was JJ McCarthy.
30:29His only like really bad take ever was JJ and I feel like that's not his fault because he values mental processing so
30:35much for a quarterback and like we we find out after the fact that Connor Stallions was just giving him all the
30:41defensive plays. So, uh, maybe he gets a mulligan on that one. I don't know.
30:46>> I'll give a shout out. Team 11 is in one of my dynasty leagues. Jarkco.
30:50>> All right, I got to get a beer. I'm miserable. Mike, >> oh my god. Harold Fannon off the board.
30:54Tucker. Oh, this sucks. We're off the rails.
30:57>> You You have Tyler Warren here and Scott Barrett quitting mid draft. Harold Fannon goes to team 12. You see Mike
31:03Evans at team 11. Uh, Scott's uh, Exodia wide receiver Mike Evans off the board.
31:09Harold Fannon would have been a nice one. I think we're going to have access to another tight end here at the end of
31:14the sixth round. But, you know, no pressure to get a tight end when you have Tyler Warren who's going to catch a
31:20100 balls this year. Uh, we're going to see another wide receiver run coming up in round six. You're going to start
31:25seeing some of these upside guys going off the board, but Fannon and Craft go off the board. And we only have one
31:32quarterback so far in Josh Allen. We'll see if we see Lamar Jackson before we pick.
31:39>> What's going on? Shout out to Nikki Nikki Banks. Shout out to Henry Mudo.
31:44Shout out to everybody who's been supporting these streams over here.
31:47Nikki Banks told me that she likes uh watching my streams on RotoWire a lot more than when I was on Fantasy Points.
31:52Appreciate that, Nick.
31:53>> Listen, that's that's not necessary. We don't need to we don't need to.
31:56>> No, there's no no competition. No competition. Um Scott, people are are appreciating that you are uh tilting out and Trayvon Henderson goes off the board
32:05here at the 601. An excellent pick by Team 12. Team Te team 11 Exodia Tayvon Henderson.
32:13>> Team our guy Derek Brown from from Fantasy Pros is in the stream. Shout out to Dro. Um my my guy JCO who's in a
32:20couple of Dynasty Leagues with me.
32:22People like his start. Trey McBride, James Cook, Garrett Wilson, Javvante Williams, Mike Evans, Devonte Adams.
32:28Scott, he drafts both team 11. He drafts the two the two old wide receivers that you like. He gets both of them.
32:35>> Um I like I like that team. And um >> let's keep this friendly.
32:40Yeah, I'm just messing with you. My guy, my guy, my guy uh Dill Esquire in the chat says, "Tuton overpric." Where are
32:46you at on that one? Bashel Tutin versus Jarian Price. I took uh I took uh Jadarian Price with Scott tonight. I to
32:53Bashel Tutin last week with Mike Schop.
32:55Scott, I think they're both decent bets sort of in the the dead zone. Uh the new dead zone. Where are you at on on
33:02head-to-head? Has Ryan Heath broken you down yet?
33:05>> No. No. I have uh Jadarian Price one spot ahead. If you want to hear the anti-beel Tutin argument, uh, you can
33:11head on over to the Fantasy Points Twitter channel. We he dropped that last night. Um, but I think the full debate I
33:18I debated in favor of David Montgomery.
33:20He argued for Beijing, but um, but yeah, I don't I don't really actually dislike Beasel Tutin, but yeah, I do have
33:27Montgomery higher, much higher.
33:29Chenarian Price, one spot above. Oh, Sam Leaporta off the board, too. This suck.
33:35Christian Watson off the board. This sucks. Yeah, it this is a tough run out for us. Um there's a couple of players
33:43I'm putting in the queue that I I think are are fine options. We're two picks away here. Scott, I think you might get
33:49your way with a with one of your guys here and we're going to have to be pot committed to recovering at another
33:55position, but I think number four in the queue would be probably the pick for us.
34:02>> I have not checked the queue.
34:05Oh. [laughter] Uh, I So, so this guy is a veto for me.
34:11Is off my board. Off my board.
34:14>> Hold on a second.
34:14>> I left three guys in the queue for you.
34:17>> Okay, I'm looking. So, Brian Thomas goes, that's a tough run out. Um, I think that this pick Let's see.
34:25>> You know where I lean. You know strongly where I lean.
34:28>> Yeah, I think it's fine, but I think you're going to get steamrolled at at the other position.
34:32>> What other position? wide receiver.
34:34>> Yeah, >> it's all right.
34:36>> It's okay. I I think we can I think we can support this in our build because we're not going to be chasing
34:44running back at all here.
34:48This is a tough run out here. Let's see which way this this manager at the at the 608 goes.
34:57This is a tough pick here, Scott.
34:59>> Well, you're you have a a fairly smart chat. They they know the pick.
35:05>> I think that I think right here >> I think the team knows what they have to do with this pick and I think that
35:10they're between the same two guys we are at the top of the board. Okay. And they take Mandre. So Scott, we have Let's not
35:16say the guys in the queue cuz one might come back around.
35:19>> I think we we lock in George KD here and I think we lock in George KD and then I think one of the
35:28two guys we have in the queue could come back around.
35:31>> You're good with that? Okay, >> look at that.
35:33>> All right, so we'll take George KD >> compromised.
35:36>> And we actually talked about this scenario when we tal spoke on the phone about when the the the order came out.
35:42>> I took George KD again with Mike Schop the other day. I think structurally he gives you a potential huge edge in the
35:48flex, especially with Tyler Warren. And when you get him at the 609 here, even if he plays 14 games, I think
35:58you you have a shot. And shout out to Josh Gillingham. One wide receiver, lol.
36:04Terrible team. Josh, I'm going to be drafted in the FFPC streets all summer long. I'm going to look for Josh Gillingham in my FFPC main events. I'm
36:14sure I'll see you in Vegas there too, Josh. Um, >> shout out shout out BC16300.
36:18Scott plays the right way. Fantasy is about who you avoid, not who you draft.
36:23Theo, is there a better guest? You have all these guy. I I love this. Hold on. I don't dislike anyone >> fantasy. Okay. Yes. I mean I I that's a
36:33that's a that's an apt statement. I think do think Scott um we've been arguing a little bit because you've liked a lot of these hurt guys slash
36:41older guys this year more so than in previous years. Scott, you've usually had more Exodas who were younger. Mike Evans Mike Evans the first year that
36:50Scott Barrett has been I mean that's the first time correct me if I'm wrong.
36:53>> Mike Evans went after Josh DS bro. Like what are what are we doing? Like it's it's it's at cost and Hall of Famers age
37:01more gracefully than normal people, normal human beings. So >> old does not mean dust. Thank you D bro.
37:08>> Thank you D bro. Okay so let's just to recap our team for the podcast audience.
37:11Pukakua Omarian Hampton Tyler Warren Cam Scatteraboo Jadarian Price George KD. So we go two tight ends, three running backs, one wide receiver. We're in very
37:20good shape at tight end. Very good shape.
37:22>> Why is your guy still on the board? I'm I'm flabbergasted.
37:25I think the vibes are not great.
37:27>> Was the preseason game really that rough? It was It was rough.
37:31>> It was rough. Um, we are going to put some contingent options in there.
37:37>> I have an old guy that I think you'll like that I'm going to put in the queue.
37:41>> Oh boy.
37:43Uh, I need to pay attention to this one.
37:45Okay, Chris Godwin goes off the board.
37:46He would have been an interesting decision.
37:48>> Oh, Carnell Tate goes that's that's who was blowing my mind. He was still there.
37:55Yes.
37:56>> Yes.
37:57>> And we are three picks away here.
38:00>> Marvin Harrison Jr. goes before Michael Wilson. That's a Yikes. That's a mistake. Oh, and and Trayvon goes before Raandre.
38:10>> Yeah, it's a tough run out here.
38:12>> Those are all Theo's guys.
38:15>> This is a tough run out for sure.
38:18>> No, it's not. Our guy is still there, right?
38:21>> We have two guys in the queue.
38:26I I'm not taking a handcuff. I'll take the guy who starts week one.
38:32>> I think that's fine.
38:34>> Well, hold on. Let me look at wide receiver.
38:37Is Is BTJ still there or did I just take >> BTJ's BTJ's gone eons ago?
38:43>> All right. [laughter] >> Okay. So, I think this one >> Oh, so so here's what I would say. I think
38:52because we're weak at wide receiver, too. Um, I think Courtland Sutton makes sense as a floor play. You know me, I
38:58hate >> No, I don't want Courtland Sutton.
39:00>> Okay, then it's Michael Wilson or it's Quinn Johnson or it's Casey Conpsion. I think it's one of those three. I have
39:09Michael Wilson higher, but I I like all three guys.
39:14>> Go ahead.
39:15>> I mean, I like the idea of Casey Conpsion or Michael Wilson. I made this uh I had the I was OTC with this one.
39:21with Davis Madak earlier. Um, >> you gave me KD. So, if you want to take this one, you could take it.
39:27>> Do we push uh KCC up to where he belongs here?
39:33>> Casey or Wilson, your call right here.
39:36>> I have I have them spot spots apart. I have Michael Wilson higher, but I mean, in this format, I would take Casey. In
39:43this format, I would take KC for the upside.
39:45>> Yeah, let's take KC. We're establishing a new ADP.
39:48>> We we talked about the concern with which by the way he was going what round 10 like two >> yeah we took him in we took him in round
39:5610 um willing to willing to push him up here >> I'm not taking him in a in a ESPN team you know because I think there's a good
40:05chance you know it takes him a while to break out but the the second half upside for Casey who we love versus you know
40:13maybe the second half downside for Michael Wilson if Carson Beck is starting but I do really like both guys >> yeah so this a weird team, Scott, but I
40:21do think Casey Conpsion gives us this high upside potential wide receiver, too. I think the 8, nine, 10 rounds, we're sort of still breaking ties to
40:29wide receiver. It's going to get really choppy at wide receiver when you get into like round 11, round 12. There's going to be some interesting players at
40:36round 8, 9, 10. Tight end, we've got Tyler Warren, George KD, we have three running backs, and we have Puka. A
40:44nightmare scenario for this team would be an injury to Puka. We would get really thin at wide receiver. Uh, this was probably the mo this is the most
40:51runheavy main event team I've had in quite some time. But I do think that we'll see how the the runout goes. 8 n
40:5810 11.
40:59>> We're going to have to get some wide receiver upside and a couple of guys structurally. But I don't hate it and I
41:05think we're not going to get jammed at running back. We don't feel like we have the we're we're up against it to sort of
41:11piece meal running back together over the back half of the 10 rounds. So it gives us options with a wide receiver
41:16and tight end. We also are going to have quarterback options. We have access to a potential very late Matthew Stafford, a
41:24potential Brock Pury. So, there's some correlation there. And I think Justin Herbert, Omari, and Hampton would also be a pairing that we could put together
41:33if it's an offense that's just printing.
41:36>> That sounds good to me. team team uh five after us waited on running back and they end up with Raandre Stevenson and
41:43Jaylen Warren in rounds six and seven to go with a Brock Bowers Derk Henry start three solid wide receivers. I'm not a
41:51huge Rashi Rice guy, but Rashi Rice at the 305 I can sort of get with. Love the Luther Burden pick they made and I Terry
41:58McLaren I think is fine middle of the fifth. Um some interesting >> middle of the >> interesting builds in this one, Scott.
42:06Um, I'll say that team number eight with JSN, Justin Jefferson is an awesome start. And then they get Bree Hall and
42:13Josh Jacobs. And then they get Parker.
42:15>> Not really that great of a start. I >> I I like that start a lot. I know I'm higher on Jefferson than you are, but
42:21Bree Hall >> We took We took How about this? We took George KD in round six. In non-tightend premium leagues over the last two years
42:32combined in PPR, George KD averages the exact same fantasy points per game as Justin Jefferson, who this guy took in round two. And that's not tight end
42:41premium. So just imagine for tight end premium.
42:45>> Okay, that's a fair shake. But I think Justin Jefferson's in store for for a bounceback. Where do you have Jeff? Do
42:51are you have Jeff Justin Jefferson behind >> Drake London?
42:54>> Drake London. And do you have him behind AJ Brown?
42:57ahead of AJ Brown.
42:58>> Ahead of AJ Brown.
43:00>> Okay, there you go. Um, we are finishing out round seven here and if you're listening on the podcast, make sure you
43:08come check out the stream. Lamar Jackson goes as the QB3 and Scott, it's yet another draft where Josh Allen goes in
43:16the middle of the fourth round and then we don't see QB2 off the board until the 702 with Drake May. This is an even
43:23larger gap than the last time we drafted between QB1 and QB2. So, round seven, you see Drake May, you see Lamar Jackson
43:31go off the board, Josh Allen sort of in a tier of his own. Some other notable uh things we've seen is Isaiah Likely goes
43:39in the middle of the seventh round. Your thoughts on the Isaiah Likely usage with multiple tight ends working in with the
43:46first team offense. Are you like playing into any of this uh with with Isaiah Likely? Are you docking him in your
43:52rankings update?
43:54>> Not yet because every beat writer was predicting a you know a full-time usage, you know, 75% plus route share. Um and
44:03so, but I it's something I'm monitoring.
44:05If it happens again next week, I'll I'll probably move him down. I actually already moved Dallas uh above Isaiah likely in my rankings,
44:13but in a tight end premium, I' I'd still have likely higher.
44:17>> So, we have uh Mac Nova. Shout out to Mac Nova who's in the chats. um and a lot and he says it's the earliest KCC
44:24has gone into main event. I was in an NFC draft today and I pushed him up. I think that we need to anticipate where
44:30ADP is going with with KCC.
44:33I think KCC is is going to run out really well this year.
44:36>> In my draft guide, I said uh KCC was the uh most mispriced player in FFPC leagues, but that was ADP from like 10
44:44days ago.
44:46>> Uh shout out to Rumhorse in the nine hole. Those two guys are great drafters.
44:49I'm drafted against them in Vegas. I'm going to be in the $3,000 FFPC varsity with Dan Williamson and Andrew Shelonberg. We go up against those guys
44:58every year there. And then I'm going up against them in in the big payback draft, too. That's on Friday. So, if I
45:05if you're live in Vegas at the FFPC drafts, definitely come and say what's up. I'm going to be drafting all day for
45:11two days there and then I'm one day I'm in uh the NFC drafts uh at a different casino. Scott, you you always talk about
45:17coming out to Vegas. When are we going to split a team out in Vegas, man?
45:20>> We should do it, man. That would be a lot of fun.
45:23>> 100%. Definitely have to do it.
45:25>> You know, I have a sub doing the uh $100,000 buyin at the the pool in Vegas.
45:32>> I I So the anybody There's a NFC Legacy League where the NFC Legacy League is the 100K buyin and there's a bunch of
45:42that there's a bunch of managers sort of splitting teams. It's like 30k a pop.
45:46It's m or 33k 35k a pop and uh it's this massive draft that they're doing not the same weekend I'm out there it's the
45:54weekend before it's at circa and not at Caesar's Palace where the other NFC drafts are but that's crazy. It's 100k entry high stakes going at a whole
46:02another level. Joe Burrow goes at the 712. Uh so they get the T. Higgins Joe Burrow correlation. T. Higgins, Joe Burrow, and AJ Brown, Drake May, I
46:12believe, are the two most common stacks right now in FFPC main events and and best baseball tournaments. So, we see two more of them tonight. AJ Brown team
46:22drafts Drake May. T. Higgins team drafts Joe Burrow. The Jamar Chase Joe Burrow combination is actually way more rare.
46:30So, interesting one there. We are into round eight. We are picking out of the four spot. So, we have at the 809. Blake
46:38Cororm was in our queue. He goes off the board. Scott, you don't like Blake Cororm. Come on, man.
46:41>> Hey, BC16300 just said Burrow is the single worst home league ADP right now in all platforms. I I basically said that on my
46:51uh YouTube today that drops probably tomorrow or the day after, going over my my QB rankings and tearing out the best
46:58values. I had I think Burrow was the only quarterback I had in the the F tier.
47:04>> You're you're not a big fan of of Joe Burrow. I could see a scenario where >> I mean he's my favorite in real life
47:09football quarterback but for fantasy he's like fancy Brock Pury expensive Baker Mayfield. It's just you know he doesn't run I mean or Dak Prescott is
47:20maybe the best con like why why does Dak Prescott go five rounds later?
47:26>> Prescott's the favorite to lead the league in passing yards this year.
47:31So, we are >> isn't hurt as frequently as Joe Burrow, the most injury-prone quarterback in football.
47:39>> Yeah, you've made uh the the birdie the Yeah, dribbling also went in the NFC draft I was in earlier today. Went super
47:47super early. He's starting to move up and up and up. Uh the drum beats are really good with dribbling.
47:53We are two picks away. I've got the queue loaded up. Take a look at it, Scott, when you get a chance.
47:59Quarterbackwise, we see have four quarterbacks off the board.
48:02>> Pollard off the board. I I was looking at him. Uh yeah, I think it's I think it's these top two guys. I feel good
48:09about it. Or >> I think there's a run out where we end up with both. So, I think we have to uh
48:15take the one at the top if he's there.
48:18>> It's fine by me.
48:19>> Okay. So, team number the team in front of us has has three running backs, three uh wide receivers. But I wonder if
48:25they're going to pull the trigger on potentially a uh a Jaden Daniels here because they have Terry McLaren or a potential Caleb Williams if they have
48:34because they have Luther Burden.
48:37>> How late is Tyson [clears throat] going to fall?
48:40>> I see I don't I don't know if Tyson's going to play till like week nine. He's a hard bet.
48:45>> Cody Carpenter and I were talking about this and sort of just the way the buy lays. Uh Tyson's a tough bet and then
48:51sort of nightmare scenarios of reagravation and all that kind of stuff.
48:54I mean, really, really a tough one. Um, tough tough player to consider. Two months is really a tough run out for a
49:01rookie. And then you have to wonder, is there going to be a ramp up period? Then you have to factor in, you know, how's
49:08the season looking for for the Saints?
49:09The Saints should be good. They're like second to win it in Vegas uh for their division. But I don't know. I get really
49:16bad vibes from this Scott. He's a player. It's not the the It's the Okay.
49:20QJ goes. So, we have to take I think Wilson here.
49:24>> Wow.
49:26>> Okay. So, let's take Michael Wilson.
49:27>> Yeah. Yeah, let's take him. That's That's great. I mean, there's another player I love and would be ecstatic with, but you're saying there's a chance
49:32we get both of them where I mean, like that would be a dream run out if we could get >> Yeah, it looks awesome. Michael Wilson,
49:41uh, supposedly Arizona's Puka Nakua and hey, in the second half last year, he was Jerry freaking Rice. So, um, you know, I think there's good upside there
49:51in round eight for for certain.
49:54>> So, we recover a little bit at wide receiver. It's still the weak point of our team. Uh, there's there's one other
50:01there's two other wide receivers we have in consideration. Uh, Wilson, Joe King in the chat, 95 targets over his last nine games. And yeah, I'll say uh that
50:11that we were lucky that Wilson was still available. Yeah, this this runout could have been way worse for us. uh ending up
50:17with Michael Wilson in the eighth round, end of the eighth round as our wide receiver three. Uh this has been a nice
50:23kind of run out for us. If we can get one, somebody's saying Michael Michael Wilson is is Jerry Jerry freaking Rice.
50:31You're getting quoted with We'll put that on a quote graphic for Scott Barrett. No, we don't do quote graphics over here. Um my old old job, we put
50:37Scott in a bad uh pre fantasy points, I was at a place that put Scott on a on a bad quote graph. Uh and that was that
50:43was a rough run out Scott. We had to remove that thing.
50:46Not doing that over here. Jaden Reed goes question. Your thoughts on Jaden Reed sort of the the run out where are
50:53you I know we really like the talent. I know Ryan Heath really likes him. I took him on a team with Ryan Heath the 350.
50:59>> Are you worried about sort of the the usage for him? Previous years it was sort of like we wanted more stuff. Yeah.
51:04>> He doesn't play in 12 personnel. We know that he's he's fancy Khalil Shakir. Uh I just don't see >> I mean he's a he's a good player. I
51:14mean, LA like what is it last two last three years? I think he's top 12 in or fringe top 12 in fantasy points per
51:21route run. Um but yeah, I mean I certainly like Michael Wilson more, Quentyn Johnson more, Courtland Sutton more, Dean Shribbling more. So yeah, not
51:32not not a guy I'm caping up for in round eight.
51:36>> So we have three players in the queue.
51:39We'll talk about them when we get OTC.
51:42Jaden Daniels still available.
51:47>> All right. Well, well, there we go.
51:49There we go. Dallas GDart goes. Well, I mean, Scott, >> we're in pretty good shape here.
51:53>> We should have worried about that that team.
51:56>> Yeah, we're we're not crazy worried. I wonder if they pull the trigger on Jaylen Herz and get the correlation player.
52:02>> Disgust you here with who I put at the top of the queue.
52:06>> No, no, there's there's some easy easy picks here in the queue. If one is there, I'll be curious to see who you
52:14add to the queue.
52:21I'll throw one guy in there, too. No, he can't be the pick. Scott, I took him with Ryan Heath, though, and we were
52:26disgusted by it. [snorts] There's a clear bull case. Like, if he's not washed, he's going to go crazy.
52:34>> And even if he is washed, he could have like eight to 12 touchdowns.
52:39>> Yeah. Okay, so we are one pick away here.
52:46We'll talk about him and we can He might be there in round 10, so you probably shouldn't talk about him.
52:51>> Okay.
52:51>> Okay.
52:54All right. So, we are OTC here, Scott.
52:57And I think that there's two players in consideration for me, and I'll let you pick. It's Stfan Diggs or Matthew Golden. GH
53:08I I don't I Matthew Golden was an awful prospect who had a historically bad >> who's gonna be on the field. Okay, we
53:14are taking >> begging you to listen. Listen listen, there's two guys in >> people or not.
53:20>> No, not when it comes to this thing. I I do respect Shawn G and Nikki Banks though and Dave Waters. So I have some
53:25good people. It's Diggs, but I do want to cape up for Matthew Golden and just say Matthew Golden is viable here, but
53:31it's Stfan Diggs. Diggs. There's a nonzero chance that Diggs outscores your guy McLaren this year. How about that?
53:38How about that?
53:39>> There's a 0% chance that that happens.
53:41>> How about that?
53:42>> 0%.
53:43>> How about that?
53:44Okay. So, we end up with our fourth wide receiver in round nine. We've gone three straight wide receivers in rounds seven,
53:50eight, and nine. You get Casey Conpsion, Michael Wilson, Stfan Diggs. Stfan Diggs averaged 12 and a half points a game last year in Buffalo. Had 1,000
53:59receiving yards. Now he ends up on a on a Washington team. The vibes are really good with him right now in Washington.
54:06Um, you know, it's probably a 65% chance that McLaren um out targets him, but I'll give it a small shot on Diggs. I
54:15think he's end up being a very helpful player. And we look at like what Debo did last year. Debo was like 11 points
54:20per game. I think Diggs has a lot more juice left in the tank than Debo did last year in Washington.
54:26>> Yeah. So I I have to be honest, I'm feeling really good about this build now. You have a stud wide receiver one
54:31in Puka Nua. You have a great upside wide receiver two in KCC or Michael Wilson. And then Stfan Diggs, I think,
54:39is going to be, I don't know, a mid-range to low-end wide receiver three. He's he's an older guy, so maybe he's
54:48uh a little bit better early in the season, which kind of works with our build. And then yeah, we have three
54:52really good running backs, two really good tight ends, and uh we're going to take the Exodia quarterback in the double digit rounds.
55:01>> Yeah, we we recovered pretty well here.
55:04Again, it's not a perfect team at wide receiver, but I think when you go with Tyler Warren in round three and then I
55:10mean I think the the two for twos here, Scott, pretty easy for me. We could have passed on Scataboo or Price and and pushed up a
55:19wide receiver. We could have passed on George KD and taken a Carnell Tate and then we could have ended up with maybe a
55:27tight end in round seven instead of instead of KCC. There's a couple of two for twos, but I like the idea of Tyler
55:33Warren and George KD together. If we get 14 games healthy out of George KD with Tyler Warren, I think that could be a
55:40really effective pairing.
55:42>> We have no quarterback yet. We're starting to see a quarterback run. No, agreed. Completely agree. Jaden Daniels, Caleb Williams, and Trevor Lawrence all
55:50go here. In round nine, we had no quarterbacks go in round eight. Um, you start to see uh some additional running
55:57backs go off the board. Jakori Krosky Meritt goes to team one. JK Dobbins goes uh to team number uh what is that? Team
56:04number uh eight or seven, excuse me, >> and then we see Mark Andrews off the board. So, >> that's who I was I was keeping up for.
56:12Um, but you know what? uh chat very worried about the wide receiver two spot. You were very worried about the wide re So it made everyone happy and so
56:21so there's that.
56:23>> Yeah. And uh question for you that the we talked about sort of Josh DS with uh the the run out after the Keenan Allen
56:30signing. What do you does it do anything to Tyler Warren? For me it's it's way less of an impact on Warren.
56:39Um, I so I don't I don't know that I fully fleshed out my thoughts on this if I'm being honest, but I I kind of don't
56:45see Keenan as being a full-time player.
56:48Uh, it's a team that wants to run a lot of heavy personnel and they kind of said Josh DS is going to be in that no matter
56:56what this year. And, uh, you he kind of needs to be load managed anyway. I I don't know that it's like much of a He's
57:04a guy who's had a 20% target share every year of his career. Sure. Uh, and he certainly seemed to hurt QJ and Lad last
57:10year, but I don't know. I I I really didn't move Downs down too much. And I I didn't move Warren down at all.
57:20>> I mean, I didn't bury Downs, but I did put him down a little bit. Keenan Allen, every single year he's been uh healthy
57:27and played at least 14 games. He's had a really solid target share. Uh he's been heavily targeted. We saw him last year
57:35sort of uh really running out pretty pure to start out last year. I think it's sort of the veterans difference thing where you talked about this one
57:42last year, Scott, where Keenan Allen shows up in LA and and Herbert just targets him. We saw how high those target totals were early in the year.
57:51So, I think we could see sort of the same thing where Michael Pitman's gone.
57:55Could he the Keenan Allen role be sort of similar? I don't know. I worry a little bit about Josh DS. And then if
58:01Alec Pierce comes back, do we see two wide receiver sets where DS is not on the field? So I just worry about some
58:08things like that. I think D's a really talented player, but it's sort of a little bit like the Jaden Reed corollary
58:13where >> No, he has so much more upside than Jaden Reed because there's a real chance he's an everyown player and over the
58:19last two years whenever he's had a route share over 66% he puts up wide receiver one numbers and I think that's going to
58:28be the expectation for him. So, I I love Josh DS. Not as much as this guy who took him in round five over Parker
58:35Washington, but uh I I do love me some Josh DS. And the end of the day, not not that worried. Certainly. Um yeah, not
58:43that worried.
58:44>> Matthew Golden at the 912. Very good pick by team number 12 there.
58:49>> Someone someone's telling telling me Stella is not a sponsor of Rotoire apparently. No, we don't we don't have we don't unlike
58:59unlike unlike Scott's company, we don't have beer companies sponsoring us. There you go.
59:05>> But uh yeah, Stella I don't know that's not really a lowbrow beer. That's kind of a flex by Scott to break out of
59:10Stella. You could go >> I mean it is a it is a tall boy but um what do you drink Theo? Do you not
59:17>> right now? Right now I'm having enjoying a Whole Foods brand seltzer water. Um and then I actually grabbed my son's a
59:25baller. really good little basketball player and I grabbed one of one of his uh Gatorade Zeros and I'm crushing some electro.
59:31>> I assume you're pounding Red Bull like 24 like you have an >> cold brew. Cold brew.
59:36>> Cold brew. Yeah.
59:37>> Yeah. I have a big caffeine >> caffeinated man in America. The >> lot lot of caffeine in the month of
59:42August because we we're dropping shows every day over here at Roawire and you know we're on my door. I gota I got to
59:49answer this.
59:49>> Go for it. Go for it. So we see Denzel Boston. He's also moved up in ADP. the 1001 for Denzel Boston. Uh, there we go.
59:59Shout out to Nicki Banks in the chat.
60:03People are really clowning on Scott's beer here. Um, and there we go. Sean Shawn G appreciates my uh my Gatorade Zero. So,
60:11we're going to get back to football here. We see Kyle Manongy go at the 911.
60:15Chuba Hubard goes at the 1002. Chuba's just uh buried in ADP. I got ch we we actually drafted a Jonathan Brooks Chuba
60:24Hubard combination in an NFC earlier today. I drafted one with Davis Madak and we weren't intending on doing it, but Chuba just kept falling and falling
60:32and falling, so we double tapped it.
60:35We're sort of wide open here, Scott, with where with where we could go. The team has suddenly become a little more
60:41balanced. I I can't believe you put this one player in the queue, though, Scott.
60:46It's almost comical to me that you would put him in this early. So, if we time out, we might end up with [laughter]
60:51the worst pick in the history of the FFPC.
60:55>> They would definitely not >> Go for it.
60:57>> If you watched the live draft that Theo and I did on the the Fantasy Point channel, you know exactly who this is.
61:03And yes, I I did it only to troll Theo, but I I had not thought about the possibility of if we accidentally timed
61:11out and took him again. Oh, man. I added a player to the bottom of the queue, Scott, that I think we should take here.
61:19>> I think it's the the upside pick here. I think it's a big upside pick.
61:22>> I think it's I think it's Brett Whitefield's Exodia. Although I I don't know what he's No, he's banged up now.
61:29He's going to fall. I I like >> it. Okay.
61:32>> I like where I'm going to push the tight end unless you guarantee me he's there.
61:39>> Well, let me look at the board.
61:40>> I don't want this quarterback. I want the Exodas.
61:44>> Okay. I just think that it's a it's a viable option here for us.
61:49>> Um here at the 1011 turn here.
61:52>> Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope.
61:54>> Oh my gosh. Scott, you're here. You're killing me on this one. Okay. I I do like where Brett's head's at on that.
61:59I'm going to talk to him about that. I think number three is interesting, too, Scott. Um a little bit throwback. The
62:04quarterback sucks and he's >> Well, maybe there's some Actually, you know what? You know what? You're you're more right than I was giving you credit
62:12for. There's contingent upside there.
62:14>> I think three and >> fits this build.
62:16>> Three and one. I think five. If you're ruling five out, >> I'll say I I think I'm looking at a
62:24different list than you. I would rather the running back than the second wide receiver, but I'd rather my tight end where the wide receiver
62:33won.
62:34>> I just refreshed the board. Um >> yeah, I have to refresh mine. I think >> looks like we're paused here. So, we
62:40have a chance to sort of look at this. I I think that >> Oh, I Hey, I didn't see ADP. I'm
62:48surprised his ADP is this high.
62:50>> Which number?
62:51>> I mean, if you want to if you want to take him, I You know what? I'm not going to fight you too much.
62:55>> Which number is that, Scott?
62:58>> You tell me. Who is the guy you're caping up for? It's four.
63:01>> I mean, I No, I think it's probably five, three, >> five, >> five, three, or one. This is No, it's
63:10not five.
63:10>> It's definitely five.
63:12>> It's one then it's one.
63:14>> Okay.
63:15>> You would take five over four. You would take >> I think that you're going to get >> over either Vikings running back.
63:21>> I think you're going to get I'm looking at this now.
63:28>> You have to tell the chat who these players are after.
63:30>> No, no. We'll tell them when we're OTC.
63:31I think I I overlooked one guy that was in the queue. Let me add one more player in the queue for us to discuss
63:38and then we'll kind of go from there.
63:39And we're still paused here.
63:41>> Listen, you gave me George KD, so I I have to give you, you know, this is a give and take relationship, you know.
63:48>> Okay. So, we see Rashad White.
63:52>> Rashad White is who I I assumed you would have over the other running back and you're you're telling me no.
63:59>> I think I I do I did like Rashad White in the queue. We don't really need him.
64:03The tight end is super interesting.
64:07I think it's probably three and we see if the tight end comes back around though. Scott, I we've seen >> uh I want the Exodia tight end. This is
64:15in my draft guide. I said in FFPC leagues there. This is the Exodia tight end. We didn't get You wouldn't let me
64:22take Mark Andrews. We missed out on Dallas Gddard.
64:27I don't really >> Well, okay. So, I'm okay with it. I'm okay with it. It's probably about a about a round early, but I've seen him
64:34go in this range. Let's see which >> if it's a round early. If it's a round early, let's take No, no, no. If it's a
64:39round early, let's take your wide receiver and and just hope for the best.
64:43>> Okay. So, I think we go with Jordan Addison here.
64:46>> Okay.
64:46>> Yeah.
64:47>> So, let's take Jordan.
64:48>> Odds that my tight end falls to to us in the next pick?
64:52>> Pretty good.
64:53>> Not 50%.
64:57>> Probably 50/50.
64:59>> All right. We we'll take your wide receiver and and just hope for the best.
65:02>> Yeah, agreed. So, that's where we're at.
65:04>> We have two tight ends already.
65:05>> Don't Don't say don't say the Don't say the guy, though.
65:08>> We have two tight I know. I'm not going Come on. Who do you think your first not your first rodeo?
65:12>> Listen, we have two We have two tight ends already and we have three running backs. So, like probably the the flex is
65:20already filled.
65:22>> So, so I'm I'm really fine with >> And we we got we got we got we got sniped there. We got sniped
65:28>> 5050. He told me he lied.
65:30>> I thought it was 5050. Listen to me.
65:32Listen, we we're in good shape at tight end.
65:34>> We're in good shape at tight end here.
65:36We got Tyler Warren and George KD.
65:37Terrence Ferguson. I I like the idea, but now we've kind of caught up at wide receiver a little bit.
65:42>> Jordan Addison, >> you see how he lies to me?
65:45>> Listen, the idea of Jordan Addison being some sort of an awful pick in round >> scrub. Kyler Murray sucks. JJ McCarthy
65:51sucks. Justin Jefferson's there. Hey, you want to guess how many uh fantasy points per game Jordan Addison averaged in the second half last year? It was
66:00under seven.
66:02>> Justin Jefferson, who's supposedly the best wide receiver in football, was in the single digits. And so so you're you're all in on on Jordan. Really?
66:11Really?
66:12>> No, no, no. I'm not all on the number three receiver in a Shawn McVey offense with a ton of contingent upside because
66:19like you said is a suspension risk injuryrone. Devonte Adams is 33y old.
66:25>> Okay, we we're getting off the rails here but we I want to catch up at wide receiver a little bit and I think Jordan
66:30Addison's been a spike guy. It's been every single year except for last year with Jordan Addison where he's provided a lot of usable weeks and we're getting
66:36him inside a round 10 here. There's no reason to tilt here on on Terrence Ferguson.
66:42We don't need to tilt on >> Tyler Murray's wide receiver, too, instead of the Exodia tight end on FFPC.
66:50>> I thought George KD was the Exodia tight end.
66:52>> So, he So, so >> and I thought Dallas Goddard was the Exodia tight end.
66:56>> This is what I said in FFPC. I want I want Harold Fannon. I want George KD. I want Sam Leaporta. I want Dallas
67:05Goddard. And I want Terrence Ferguson. I want all of those. and instead you made me eat cotton candy for dinner when we
67:12should have had our vegetables and we took >> there's a there's a there's an easy easy pick for us here that um there's two I
67:20mean I can't believe you've got this one guy in the queue who the whole world is fading you've got a guy that's going to
67:25go in the 16th round >> get this quarterback out of here >> no no this Hold on first of all we don't
67:31have a quarterback in the queue yet >> yes we do >> number two is the pick here easily at the 11 he's going in like the yes 100% %
67:38This is the This is the upside wins championships pick here.
67:42>> And this is the This is a This is the pick easily. We've capitulated on a couple of these picks.
67:47>> We've capitulated on a couple of these picks. We've got to take this guy. This is turning into I'd rather take Pat Frier move. We We're
67:54really going to take >> This is This has turned into like uh other sites are just arguing here. We're going to talk it out. We're going to
68:03talk it out. Um >> my guy Yes. Thank you. One pick away.
68:09That's true. That's true.
68:11>> Okay. So, this is this is I'm going to take my running back here. I'm going to cape up for him here. This is this is
68:16the the swing for the fence is upside pick. And we're going to take them.
68:19>> So So, so Theo Theo doesn't like 30year-old players, but he wants the guy who's missed 77% of career games since
68:29high school.
68:30>> Okay. I will say that there's there's two guys in play for me here. It's Herbert or Lloyd. And I'm gonna go
68:37Lloyd.
68:38>> I have a quarterback ahead of Herbert who's gonna be there in the next round.
68:42>> Let's let's sit on that one and let's take my guy Lloyd and we're taking Marshon Lloyd. That's my pick. We we we
68:48capitulated on Puka Nakua, Brock Bowers.
68:51Tyler Warren was sort of a my pick.
68:52Omarian Hampton was an US pick. Jadarian Price was kind of an us pick but kind of a capitulation pick. Casey Conpsion, we
69:00set the main event high. We are flaging Casey >> Con. Proud of that to be honest. Me, too. And I also I think I set the the
69:08350 NFC online championship high for him as well. Like I think this is where he's going to go in Vegas and we're just a
69:15couple weeks early on this.
69:16>> I think you're right.
69:17>> And I think when you look at like some of these >> unless it's Denzel Boston, who you you love too
69:22>> is like more the training camp guy, but I think not the best fit for the coach.
69:26>> Okay. So there's there's a Denzel Boston I I think is really really talented, but if one of them's going to hit in a major
69:33way this year, it's the one that can overcome the quarterback situation and more of like get the manufactured touches. They're going to force feed.
69:41Yeah. So I love Boston. I think Boston they'll actually be a window where you can get them in dynasty. Um yeah, the
69:46Terren Ferguson one, Scott, we should have taken Terrence Ferguson. Uh we should have pushed wide receiver around, but I do really do like the Marshon
69:54Lloyd value.
69:56uh >> the guy the guy who's missed 97% of career NFL games. We're going to take him.
70:04>> Let us know in the chat who plays who plays more games, Cam Scataboo or Marshon Lloyd this year.
70:08>> Scataboo.
70:10>> And then like who scores fantasy points this year? Does you know the the handcuff to Josh Jacobs really? Hey, I
70:17I'll just like a peak behind the curtain is like I love Theo and we're good friends and like we're we're being
70:22combative to make this a little bit more entertaining. I did say on the on over the phone with you, you said like,
70:28"Okay, I'll let you do this," which we did. George KD, if you let me take my guy Marshon Lloyd, and I'm like, "Hey,
70:36you know what? That's a that's a great that's a great call. You know, that's kind of arbitrage Jonathan Brooks, but without the hype behind it." So, I I'm
70:44I'm typically an anti- handcuff guy, but I I really am not mad at Marsha Lloyd. I would have preferred Aaron Jones, I
70:52think, but um yeah, fine with Marshon Lloyd in round 11.
70:55>> And I think to be clear, I I'm very open-minded to taking Josh Jacobs in round four and also Marshon Lloyd in
71:02this round. I think there's value to be had in this backfield. Jacobs has a lot of tread tread on the tire. The vibes
71:07have been really good with Marshon Lloyd and I think it's like a secondary. The the franchise sort of stuck with Christian Watson. They extended him. I
71:16think there's going to be a period of time where Marshon Lloyd has some viable weeks this year and any week that Josh
71:21Jacobs misses, Marshon Lloyd's a smash and I think you also got the potential for a suspension. Adam Shfter talked about it. So, a little bit of contingent
71:30upside there as well. There's uh we don't have a quarterback, but I think we feel perfectly fine about that. Scott, we we're also going to probably be a two
71:38quarterback build. We only have two tight ends.
71:43We see Romeo Dubs go off the board.
71:44Brett Whitefield's also really high on him. I was talking with Brett on the phone about that one. We're starting to see some a good amount of buzz with with
71:52Romeo Dubs. Mai Lemon falling and falling and falling. Xavier Worthy, where you at on on him, Scott? You're a noted Xavier Worthy hater in previous
72:00years. When you get to round 11, are you open-minded to it this year just as sort of a post hype thing? And you know, I I
72:07mean, we argued about this one, and this was one where Scott was openly celebrating my Xavier Worthy backing last year during the the injury uh in
72:15the opener against the Chargers. It was sort of comical. Uh not at the time, but it was comical a little bit in
72:21retrospect. Are you more open-minded to him this year?
72:25>> Um I don't know. This is one of the weird like logical inconsistencies in my rankings where I'm really low on Rasheed
72:31Rice. I'm really low on Xavier Worthy. I don't even have uh Taekquin Thornton ranked, although I I like Taekquin. Uh
72:39I'm low on Travis Kelce. Uh Cyrus Allen, I don't know, last round pick and so I'm kind of too low on it. So like the math
72:48doesn't math for a Patrick Mahomes receiver. Um but no, he's he's not a target. I'm sure there's wide receivers I like more. Um Shawn G is asking, "Did
72:58Scott make another Exodia list that I missed?" Yeah, scroll down to the bottom of my draft guide. There's a fact section uh for FFPC leagues. It's like
73:08here's what I do at quarterback. Here's what I do at running back. Dude, some of our subs have built some insane teams.
73:15Um because, you know, especially in the 350, I think main events a little bit tougher, but I do need to update that
73:21because it's a little out of date for the ADP. Hey, is Abib in this league by the way? Was he DMing us earlier that
73:28he's in this?
73:28>> No, Abib is not in this one. I think we're we're splitting a team with Abib at some point. And I might split a
73:33second team with a beeb. Um we Scott and I have done really well in this in main event. I think last year we had like
73:40three teams out of four that finished uh in the money and I think two of them won it. Uh we had I think we might have had
73:46three teams in the in the playoff round.
73:48Scott, we haven't had a team that we had one team with a beeb where the three of us we were in like the top 15 for a
73:54while and then it sort of it died on the vine when we got to the to the 3-week sprint. But we had also a couple teams
74:00last year, Scott, which were incredibly unfortunate with injuries. We drafted Tucker Craft in so many eighth rounds last year, and it looked like that was
74:09like the league winner. I mean, that really, really hurt.
74:12>> Um, throw in a couple more guys here in the queue.
74:17And then we had uh Cam Scaboo, obviously, that was a and I'll give Scott credit on that one, but uh Tucker
74:22Craft, I think Scott will give me a little little credit on that one.
74:24>> Not bad, but still did really well. And that's a huge testament to you. Like uh you're a phenomenal waiverwire guru.
74:34Like your high stakes waiverwire column is the best in the space bar none. Um and it's also insane how many leagues
74:41you have and you're still like as on top of waiverss as you are. I don't know how you do it.
74:46>> Maybe it's the cold brew.
74:47>> It's the cold brew. And also uh I spent hours and hours and hours on waivers.
74:53Uh, Wednesdays are always a weird day for me where I'm doing fantasy content, but I'm also doing waivers and and there's also like these leagues have
75:02also pushed waivers to up to 11 p.m. So, I used to like collapse at 10 p.m.
75:06Eastern and now it's like an extra hour where I'm going to have to do it. So, uh, yeah, it's it's uh it's a grind, but
75:12it's but yeah, I've hit really well on the waivers and appreciate you saying that. I can't wait to clip that and have
75:17Scott Barrett of Fantasy Point says, "But it just the way we're going to have the high stakes waverwire column right here at Rotoire. I did it for Scott last
75:25year. Did it at Player Profiler before that. People loved it and we've had a bunch of hits over the years. We're
75:30seeing a quarterback run here, Scott, with Brock Pury, Justin Herbert go back to back. Herbert would have been a really good pick for us. I think in
75:36retrospect, will we hate the fact that Herbert uh we could have gone? No.
75:42>> No. I'm open-minded to I'm openminded to >> my quarterback. We don't want Justin Herbert.
75:47>> I am okay with your quarterback.
75:49>> You want my quarterback.
75:51>> I also want to put in my quarterback. I have two quarterbacks that I like.
75:55>> Oh, great. Can't wait to hear who this this guy is.
75:58>> Okay. I think you're I know you like this one because I've talked to you about both of these guys. I put them
76:02both in the queue.
76:03>> Both those guys are great.
76:04>> He doesn't run. He doesn't run. That's Brandon Aubrey off the board. The Exodia kicker.
76:10>> The Exodia kicker. The Josh Allen. the Josh Allen of kickers.
76:13>> Kickers.
76:14>> We're gonna take we're gonna take your quarterback if he's here and then we're gonna push quarterback around him.
76:19>> I want to know people has has Hey, Theo has has >> There he goes. There he goes. Okay. So So we are going to have to
76:28we can we can lean into it, but I think we need to This might be even be a three quarterback build, Scott. This is
76:34definitely a two quarterback build.
76:36We've gotten steamrolled a little bit here.
76:39your guy at the top of the queue. You do not need to take in this round. This is would be setting the the high in the
76:46main event for ADP by like you you'd be setting the high by like three rounds.
76:51>> I think my guy at number two gives us a lot of stab. Yeah, he does.
76:56>> So, I I I don't think we go quarterback here. I think I think we we use this in our favor and we just push it and
77:04because no one else is desperate to take their QB2.
77:08No, I I don't I disagree with that.
77:10Sometimes in these in these leagues, they they run and they run and they run and they run.
77:14>> So So in my draft guide, the Exodia quarterback on FFPC is Jackson Dart, and that's who I want.
77:21>> He's gone.
77:22>> Okay, Scott, this is sort of a signal >> plan is who the the home league Exodia is.
77:27>> Okay, but Scott, we're OT. Let's we'll get to the I I I I like the I like the plan in these home leagues, but the
77:32problem is in this league, these the trend these this trend where all these teams are getting a second quarterback and we don't want to get left holding
77:39the bag of the guys in the queue here.
77:42Who's the one you want to get? I will say you can >> it's it's the guy we we reach on and
77:47you're the world's biggest.
77:49>> It doesn't matter. Look at >> Scott. He's going to be It doesn't matter cuz he's going to be there in in
77:53two rounds.
77:54>> You say that to draft him in two rounds.
77:56You lie to me. I think it's I think it's I think it's number one here.
78:00>> Take a quarterback. Then we don't take a quarterback.
78:02>> It's one or three here.
78:03>> Then it's three. Then it's three. But but I'm I in protest.
78:07>> Okay, we're taking three here.
78:08>> I'm happy with this.
78:10>> I'm going to send you in the private message because I don't want to I don't want to tip our hand here. This is This
78:14is >> freaking freaking Theo Ginger, world's biggest ADP slave.
78:19>> Not Not at all.
78:21>> When you have SC when you have Scott Barrett on your show, just draft off of his rankings. all your guests that you
78:28have just copy the Scott Barrett rankings. So, it's like, okay, that they're telling you that that my rankings are the only ones that matter.
78:35Their rankings are worthless.
78:37>> That's that's that is absolutely untrue.
78:39And I will say that the >> Oh, I have the screenshots. You want to see Should I open?
78:42>> Okay. I would love I I would love to see the screenshots, but I would like to say that there's one thing to be said of
78:47taking your guy, and there's another thing to be said that at a one-off position, you take your guy four rounds early. at a one-off position. We can
78:55>> I have him ranked above Bo Knicks. I have him ranked above Patrick Mahomes. I have >> Okay, so let's talk about that one with
79:00Bo Knicks because Bo Knicks has an awesome group of of receivers and they get him Jaylen Wadd. Pat Bryant's the the new hotness. Courtland Sutton looked
79:10good the other day and Bo Knicks was quarterback 11 last year in points per game, quarterback eight the year before.
79:15This is a >> really I don't mind. I don't mind. So here's the argument from >> I'm setting you a private a private one.
79:20We're gonna go. Okay, this is this is what we're gonna do. This is going to be it's gonna be this is the plan.
79:27>> Hey, that worked out exceptionally well for us.
79:30>> This is going to be very good here. But we're going to go with I'm just going to I'm going to say the guy's names because
79:35I think we are getting snap sniped here.
79:37Or this guy.
79:46>> Are you good with this plan?
79:47>> Okay. Okay.
79:48>> Okay. So, but we don't need to say it because you can keep the bit on here if you want.
79:52>> Okay, >> you can keep the bit, >> but but this is actually not a bad run out here >> and uh we will scroll back up the board.
80:02>> I need to take some deep breaths. I'm >> We're good here. We're good here. We're good here. We're good here. Um
80:08>> I like some of these wide receivers on the board.
80:11>> I like four, but I don't think he's a make it or break it play for us.
80:17>> No.
80:19I don't think he's a make it or break it guy.
80:22>> Um I mean I think he's sort of superuluous to the Addison pick.
80:26>> Trey Harris goes there.
80:28>> What about Oronda Gadson? Like I I think the what do I always say? The bull case matters more than the most likely
80:36outcome, which matters exponentially more than the bare case. There's a really compelling bull case. Even if it's like a 20 percentile outcome, if
80:46that hits, he breaks FFPC leagues.
80:51>> I don't hate it, but I I He's really really falling. And I think that the fact that he played he they bench Trey
80:57Harris.
80:58>> Is he worth more to us than a QB3 QB2?
81:02>> I think a QB2 a QB2 here makes sense.
81:06>> I like where you're at with player number six in the queue. I think he's there next round.
81:09>> So I don't want a QB here. you you I gave you your QB. You had your way. Um because there's there's an e there's
81:17there's the Exodia quarterback and then there's another quarterback who is >> Exodia runner.
81:23>> We are not taking we can't take we can't take we can't take uh Gadson here. We see >> why not?
81:30>> Cuz this is this is this is the wide receiver. You like this player, Scott.
81:34If you want to pass on quarterback, and I do think there'll be a quarterback next pick, then I think it's player
81:40number four in our queue that I think we both like, and I think he's a good value here, and we are completely caught up at
81:46the position that we're worst at.
81:48>> So, I think we take Rasheed Shahed right here.
81:51>> I think I think you and Chad were too overly concerned about punting wide receiver two. I think you could do that
81:59when you have three wide receivers, two tight ends.
82:01>> Okay. And then people love People love People love when I People love when I say this too.
82:07>> This is a free look player. And Scott, when when >> Rasheed, >> it's a one week. I don't care about one
82:14week. I care about weeks 16, 17.
82:17>> It's Look, look, this is a good pick here. And and Scott, you're you're a Rashid guy. Like, what are we doing? You
82:22love Rashid Shahid. You've been a Rashid. You actually I remember when we did a we did a trade special.
82:29>> Uh we did a trade special, me, you and Brett Whitefield last year at Fantasy Points. And uh when it was the trade
82:34deadline, we got on there and we were just losing our mind over Rasheed Shahed and how good this could be and and the
82:41run out. And then we actually got a poor run out where he made a big impact on special teams. JSN was just so dominant
82:48in his usage, but I think rational coaching all off season. He's clearly looks like the number two target in Seattle. They have a whole offseason to
82:57kind of prepare to use him. They traded a third round pick for him. Then they resigned him as a free agent. We know in
83:04New Orleans he had usable fantasy weeks and there's a there's a chance Shahed kind of runs pure and we also get again
83:10the free look play. So I'm I'm okay with this one. I think that that >> I really like that you just totally
83:16called me on my [ __ ] That's true. I I have been Rasheed Shahed's biggest fan since uh he went UDFA and then scored
83:25that first uh long touchdown I think like week six for the Saints. Um, >> Weber State, Weber State.
83:32>> And has there been a bigger train maybe Denzel Boston, but like after Denzel B biggest training camp hype, darling?
83:40Rasheed Shahid has been the star of Seattle training camp and like the coach comes out, he's like, "Hey, he joined us
83:47mid-season.
83:48Offense is complicated. Uh, we took it easy on him." But this year, you know, we have plays designed for him. We have
83:57and I mean like JSN just had the best yards per team pass attempt of any wide receiver since Lance freaking Allworth
84:05in like the 1950s. And so um yeah, like there that's an offense that probably can support more than one pass catcher.
84:15>> Yeah. I know. I'm I'm with you. I'm with you on this one. Um we see tight end here gets a little choppy. I think
84:21there's some interesting tight ends late. Uh, we saw the big quarterback run in round round 12. We ultimately went with Bo Knicks. And pick your brain on
84:29this one, Scott, because I know Ryan Heath is really big on Bo Knicks. I I sort of have been caping up for Bo
84:34Knicks. I I I recorded with Cody Carpenter the other day. I made a big bull case for Bo Knicks, but Bo Knicks
84:40quarterback eight in points per game as a rookie. Quarterback 11 last year. We know he's got rushing upside. They go out and get Jaylen Wadd. Pat Bryant is
84:49just sort of the talk of training camp.
84:50Courtland Sutton's still there. Troy Franklin is the wide receiver for he had six touchdowns, 700 and something yards last year. Looked pretty good. He's
84:58entering year three. Why is the Why are you like not kind of excited about Bo Knicks? I feel like he's being drafted
85:05at his floor.
85:07>> We get him.
85:07>> So, so he's being drafted at his floor.
85:09The thing is in one QB leagues, all that matter is upside. All that matters is league winning upside. Shout out to
85:16Upside Wins Championships, my self-proclaimed Magnum Opus. uh in any given season, the quarterback position just really doesn't matter at all. And
85:24so like and you have the the safety net of the waiver wire to fall back on as well as the the the ceiling because
85:32we've seen that like Matthew Stafford was a UDFA. We picked him up week four in one of our leagues last year. And so
85:38yes, very safe, high floor, and maybe that pairs well with the quarterback we'll take next. But uh it's just does he have top three upside? Does he have
85:48top five upside? Not really. And that's that's what really matters to me. You know, my Exodia quarterback has hit every single year. Uh that's people love
85:58go apeshit for Hey, Drake May finished second in fantasy points per game last year. If Sam Monson, my old coworker, didn't throw away his vote. So many subs
86:07would have won tens of thousands of dollars with that MVP bet. Um and it's Yeah, I lean into upside. Bo Knicks very
86:17safe. If if if our quarterback falls to us, I'm I'm not going to be mad at it.
86:22Um Shawn Peyton's track record is phenomenal at the quarterback position.
86:26You know, arguably better than anyone.
86:27Uh where like Teddy Bridgewwater, Jameus Winston, absolute scrub backups, put up like 20 plus fantasy points per game with Shawn Peyton. And uh and yeah, so
86:38like the last two years he's finished what? QB7, QB9 by fantasy points per game while sucking ass. He ranks bottom six in completion percentage over
86:49expectation catchable throw rate. It's like, hey, if he could just be average, you know, maybe he has he could finish QB6, QB5. Um but he's coming off of an
86:59injury, so I question the rushing upside. Um he's he's just fine. He doesn't get me excited like the next quarterback would.
87:09>> Well, the next quarterback uh we this I think we have a couple guys in consideration to talk about here.
87:14>> We don't we have one we have one guy in consideration.
87:19>> Okay, he's in consideration. I think there's another two we'll talk about. Uh I think we could walk away and I think
87:25this is also a there's a potential this we got to talk about a couple wide receivers here. We got to talk about one
87:29running back who's in the queue and I think you can look at the bottom and sort of figure out why that
87:34>> no >> how how are we off that guy?
87:37>> Three starting running backs and I let you take >> Okay, I'm going to give you a bone on this next pick and then let's split the
87:44difference here. You're picking round 14. I'm picking round 15. Deal?
87:48>> No, one good pick and one bad pick.
87:51>> Oh my god. The Rashid Shahid pick was And first of all, I would like to I would like to say the guy that you
87:57wanted to take >> Uhhuh. is still on the board. So, you get Bo Knicks with >> Listen, Nick Banks is on my side. Give
88:04Scott a bone. I've been I've been getting hosed. We We could We could have won a million dollars. We are We are
88:10very me with Marshon Lloyd and Bone Knicks and Jordan Addison.
88:13>> We are very We are We are very live with this team.
88:17>> Okay. You got Kenyon and Sadi Greg Doulich go off the board.
88:20>> I like Dol.
88:20>> We are one one pick away. I know you like Dolich here. I I kind of like like uh >> I like the idea that
88:26>> Pat Frier move still on the board. Did he go off the board 10 rounds ago?
88:29>> I emailed the FFPC and I had uh them remove him from a Q option. Sort of like a troubled gambler thing where they were
88:35able to take it off cuz I don't want troubled Pratt Frith Bowls to sort of show up here. Um [laughter] >> troubled gambler.
88:43>> Shout out shout out to uh shout out to my to my guy here calling out the Jacob Gibbs Exodia tight end who I convinced
88:50Ryan Heath to uh Ryan Heath is getting Gibbs pled on him. I'm sure he's going to be in Ryan Heath next uh next really
88:56sharp guy. Uh Jacob, really sharp guy.
89:00>> Ryan Ryan's great. I had >> two of the best young analysts in the game by far.
89:03>> Jacob Gibbs has been on this show three times. Three times. That's my guy. And I went on his show to do the Hot Takes
89:09show. I've got I've had him. He's completely loose. Okay. So, we're OTC.
89:12>> We did our birthday show together. We're both July 30th.
89:16>> Just a just a weird a weird commonality in the fantasy space. You're OTC here.
89:20Okay. Scott, take your guy. He'll be here in round 16, but we can take him here. And I'm going to take round 15.
89:24>> Are we going to set the record? It It brings me so much joy to set these ADP records because, hey, guess what?
89:31>> Isn't two also an Exodia quarterback that actually goes high?
89:35>> Yeah, but I have him ranked below the other one. So, we could take both. You said you said in private chat three
89:41quarterbacks. That's fine, but I don't want to lose out on the >> Exodia. So, so you're not >> Hey, Theo. When was the last time the
89:47Exodia >> You're not gonna lose You're not gonna lose out. You're not going to lose out on him because >> you lie to me. You say balls and you
89:53don't fall.
89:53>> I'm not Scott. Number two goes.
89:55>> Let's set the record. Let's put Let's Let's nuts hang.
89:59>> You're gonna set the record.
90:00>> Show everyone who's boss that we know ball. Take your guy ahead of the quarterback that we have correlation with. Let's take your guy. Okay. We'll
90:07take him right here and then I will take my guy next.
90:09>> These guys think they're so sharp because they Oh, I'm in a hundred leagues. I have $500,000. Okay. If that's if you guys are so sharp and I'm
90:18so dumb, then how come I've I've won the championship in like 80% of my career FFPC leagues? Like that should be
90:27you. If you have an 80% championship hit rate in FFPC main event leagues, then you should become a professional FFPC manager. That's a great
90:36>> time. I only do drafts with co-managers.
90:39>> Okay. So, I would like to add for the podcast listening audience, this has gone off the rails a little bit. Not
90:43really. Scott gets his guy Malik Willis.
90:45loves Malik Willis. Scott, some Pistol Pete in the chat is asking if you were you are or you are messing with
90:53everybody with your Pat Frymouth love cuz people think it's hilarious.
90:56>> So that's a joke. So like I I thought he was like a great last round pick in this format, but hey, pre-season usage
91:04actually kind of proved me wrong where it's like, hey, Darnell Washington ran more routes than than uh Patt Frier move with the first team offense. You have to
91:12watch the fantasy points episode where we accidentally took him and so it became like a running bit. Um, but Malik Willis is like dead serious. Like this
91:21is like I would take him over Bo Nicks.
91:24I would take him over Patrick Mahomes. I would take him over Jared Gooff. Maybe over Brock Pury who I love. May maybe
91:32even over Justin Herbert who I love. And I have the only guy it's not it's not a good pick here because he could have
91:37gotten him before and there's >> I don't care obviously we had the same debate with Cam Scaboo last year where it's like he's mispriced by three
91:46rounds. Let's take him a round early and you're like well there's a 60% chance he falls to us and then they never do. It's
91:53just Malik Willis finishes Malik Willis finishes QB five and we drafted him what? QB 16. That's insane value. That's
92:04extreme value. Let's not be ADP slaves.
92:07>> No. No. But this is why we're not ADP slaves because we could have taken Matthew Stafford right there and had
92:12>> I don't care about Matthew Mayfield.
92:16>> Okay. But this is this is it. It's correlation and it's a and it's a free look. And it's a free look. Correlation
92:22and a free look.
92:23>> I don't And we pass up on him for Malik Willis.
92:25>> The least important week and then >> it all adds up. He had the highest touchdown rate ever, which is like the
92:32most guaranteed to regress to the mean stat of all time.
92:36>> Well, I feel the need I'm making the next pick here, and I feel the need to sort of like hedge the bet here a little
92:42bit. So, gosh, this is a tough one.
92:45>> Who Who does Theo have better chemistry with than Scott Barrett? Huh?
92:50>> Wouldn't it be great if there was a show where where Scott Barrett and Theo Ginger met and talked twice?
92:56>> Big announcement. A big announcement.
92:58School of Scott is moving to Rotoire this year. Make the announcement, Scott.
93:01Let everybody know. Let everybody know.
93:02Okay, so upside over correlation. Yeah, I get it. I get it, Scott. I get it.
93:07Okay, we're two picks away here, and I'm debating this one out.
93:11>> Well, you you you let me have my way.
93:13Oh, yeah. I mean, Dave Dave, All right, so there's there's five guys in the queue. Four of which are Scott Barrett
93:20guys, one of which is a Theo guy. Which way is is he going to go?
93:24>> Well, no, we talked about this one. We have two quarterbacks here. So, >> Matthew Stafford would have been a really good pick.
93:30>> Okay. Do whatever you want, but but I get to scold you if it's if it's not what I >> No, I mean, for me, it's this is there's
93:37a couple of of clear picks in this queue. It's five, it's two, or it's one.
93:45And I think that we are in a situation where I think we're actually a three quarterback build because we're super late. We waited late. And I think we
93:54take the third one here. And I think we hope that two or three come back around to us.
93:58>> I like that. Let's do that. But I want chat to recognize that this is Theo showing a lack of confidence in the
94:06Exodia quarterback which never missed.
94:08>> No. And and I will say I take it personally. I take it personally.
94:11>> The idea that three quarterbacks is absurd. A lot of the win rates last year, you can look at Fantasy Mojo on
94:15win rates for three quarterback.
94:17>> Our own teams by the way.
94:18>> Three quarterback [clears throat] builds are absolutely in play. You could let one go in week two or three. we can get
94:23a feel for the offenses. And again, we make a bet in round 12. The three quarterback build used to be like, let's
94:29laugh at it, but there's a couple guys in this main event that have won a million plus uh in total total earnings.
94:35A lot of guys with over a half a million in total earnings that have done the three quarterback build. I don't love
94:40the three quarterback build, but when we start out in round 12, the idea that I can't roster three quarterbacks for a
94:46couple weeks and sort of see which way it goes, it's not the most ideal strategy. I mean, >> and we get a little
94:53>> I I think this is like actually the perfect build for a three quarterback because we were the last team to take
95:00our QB1. We have three stud running backs. We have we went we went quantity over quality at wide receiver and we
95:08have two tight ends who are going to start for us. So, our flex is spilled filled. I think it makes sense to uh
95:16take three quarterbacks. Hope one I mean play play schedules early on. Drop the worst one in week three and hope one of
95:25those guys has top five upside. I mean we know which one it is, but hope one of those guys has top five upside.
95:32>> Yeah. I mean again, you're going to have to piece mill it a little bit together.
95:34I think ultimately Bo Nicks is going to be our quarterback, but if Scott's right, I do think Malik Willis has a
95:39chance to lead the NFL in rushing yards at the quarterback position, even if it's smaller small chance. Uh Kyler Murray obviously in a Kevin Oonnell
95:47offense. I know Ryan Heath's very high on him. This team got a little weird, but if we look at the team structurally,
95:53we have three running backs early. We take Marshon Lloyd. Wide receiver-wise, Pukanakua at four and then we go Casey Conpsion, Michael Wilson, Stefon, Terren
96:03Ferguson on it.
96:05>> Can we imagine the theoretical upside of Terren Ferguson there? Um we ended up going Addison over over Ferguson. I guess that's one we could sort of get
96:12back. Um, I think really the ultimately the the move was we should have probably taken Justin Herbert >> Ronda Madson off the board.
96:19>> If you take if you take Justin Herbert in round 11, you don't end up in this three quarterback uh Frankenstein build.
96:26But again, we have some juice here with this team. Um, I am not against this team. And I will say this team, you
96:33know, there it's not perfect, but you end up with potentially the wide receiver one, the tight end one overall, and then I think Omar and Hampton could
96:41end up falling in the end zone 15 times this year if that offense sort of runs pure. Um Patrick Klein asking if we're
96:47going to say which teams we like.
96:48They're probably not. Uh this this is this is this is getting to be an hour and 35 minutes in. Um a couple of teams
96:55I'll talk about. I guess we could sort of look at the board, Scott, and pick one team we like, but I am not This
97:02team's definitely not dead. I'll say his swing pick was Marshon Lloyd, though, cuz I do think he has exceptional exceptional upside.
97:08>> This is better than your Ryan Heath team. This is better than your Jacob Gibbs team.
97:12>> Well, my No, no, I don't know about that. My Ryan Heath team I think was pretty good except for Ryan Heath made
97:16the the ultimate cardinal sin where the company where they talk about upside wins championships and understanding tight end premium formats and Ryan Heath
97:25goes makes me and Ryan and I we I think we ran pure on a number of picks like the runout was really good but there was
97:32the one pick that's haunted me for days is Ryan want to go Dererick Henry over Trey McBride. It was so on brand for
97:39Ryan because he wants to show everybody that he loves Derrick Henry again and and he faded him before. We love you
97:44Ryan Heath. That team could still do well. We got Lamar Jackson so late in that team. Um Scott, which was really we
97:51haven't been pushing Lamar Jackson up. I know Ryan's really high on him, but yeah. Um Scott, Nicki Banks wants you to call out
98:00the team you like the least from from this build. Care to take a stab at the team you like the least?
98:06Yeah, I mean it's it's probably the team that that overdrafted Jordan Addison, wasted a pick on Marshall.
98:12>> Oh my god, this is you think this is the worst pick team on the board. Tyler Warren in round three, Omar and Hampton,
98:17Fukakua. This team has a lot of >> I have to look at the board. I I kind of haven't paid attention to anyone else in
98:22this this format. Who Who's Are are there any big hitters? I want to piss off.
98:27>> Well, yeah.
98:29>> They're not in this one. Actually, Fantasy here.
98:32>> No, Nelson is Nelson's at the one.
98:34Nelson's at the one.
98:36Oh, wait. He's Fantasy Sopranos.
98:38>> Fantasy Sopranos is Dave Hubard, Steve, and Nelson. That's three really good drafters.
98:43>> Well, he he took a ton of my guys, so I'd love to I'd love to talk [ __ ] on the
98:47goat, but uh >> I'm sure he'd love to I'm sure he'd love to come on on a on a Fantasy Points
98:51podcast. He's been on my shows a bunch of times, and I'm splitting >> scheduling. So, >> I I I split a uh team with with uh
98:58Nelson in the in the NFC New York draft.
99:01We're drafting a team in the New York Super. If you're going to be in the live drafts in New York City, look forward to
99:05seeing you. I'll see Steve there.
99:07>> I have nothing respect but respect for like these are the best fantasy players in the world for these guys who have a
99:14ton of money on the line, draft a 100 teams and like have the track record to back it up. Nelson Seuss is one of them.
99:20A beback won backto back. Like that's statistically impossible. So yeah, shout out to all those guys.
99:28>> Omar Cooper goes in round 16. Uh, some bad vibes with Omar Cooper right now.
99:33Um, interesting pick there. I don't know that the whole Isaiah Williamson thing, but I I think Omar the the Cooper is a
99:40guy you're probably going to see on the waiverwire after week one.
99:44>> I told you that two months ago.
99:46>> What are we talking about? I'm taking Omar Cooper now. I don't have any Omar Cooper exposure. Like talking to me off
99:51of Omar Cooper.
99:52>> Um, I will say I'll put one team in the queue that I think has a really good early season defensive schedule. If you
99:58look at sort of the schedule, >> we're talking about drafting defenses now.
100:03>> Why not?
100:03>> You know who you know who the top tight end is right now by ADP.
100:09>> Uh why don't you tell us Scott? Is it >> It's our good friend Pat Frier move.
100:12>> Oh my god. We're still talking about it.
100:14We got like a But I will say we need to There's one thing we need to do in this format is we need to take number three
100:19just in case that I put in the queue.
100:21And you you know I'm right. I think it's in the 17th round.
100:24>> So So I mean I I think I think there's a good chance we drop him, but yeah, that's that's fine.
100:31That's fine. By >> number one is a is a given here in round 16. I wanted him last round. Let's just
100:37take him and then I think we take number three. Unless Do you want to just >> I'll tell you why philos philosophically
100:44that doesn't make sense. But you hold on. You removed a bunch of my guys from the queue.
100:50>> I didn't know.
100:51>> Well, go hold on a second. Hold on a second. Which guy do you have in the que? Cuz I maybe it just didn't update
100:54>> the two wide receivers. Refresh. We we don't we I think we're good there. We don't need to push that one.
101:00>> Why? We we we have we we only have one good one.
101:04>> Okay.
101:06>> I think I think >> we position >> he's in play. I Let's get cuz I I I number one we we really need to get with
101:14this build. I know you're going to say we don't, but we kind >> I have to pee really bad. So win by
101:19default. How about that? So the the teams at at one and two and three, please make your picks super quick so I
101:25can j make [laughter] two picks off the board.
101:28>> Thank you. Thank you for falling on that grenade for us, guys. We really appreciate that. I saving Scott Barrett there.
101:34>> Go do your thing, Scott. I won't I won't double tap. I won't double tap. There you go.
101:41>> All right. So, there we go. Pat Fmouth, the Exodia tight end. You don't need You don't need to subscribe to the article
101:46because now you know the Exodia tight end was Pat Frymouth. That's the the tight end. No, but Scott last last draft
101:51really wanted him and we sort of got in a big argument about it. Isaiah Pacheco goes off the board. Deont Clayburn goes
101:57off the board. He was in the queue. I like him, especially in this range.
102:01Another draft that Scott and I did, we drafted the double tap of Jordan Mason and Deont Claybourne. And we are one
102:09pick away. Sort of a clear value for me that we should take for this build.
102:16Hopefully, we don't get sniped.
102:18And there's one other player if we do get sniped. There's two guys that I think make sense.
102:25Big shout out to everybody watching the stream and listening to my podcast over here. If you want access to my rankings,
102:32I have been doing a huge rankings update. Uh, and there we go. We get sniped. Kamani Vidal goes off the board.
102:39We get sniped here in round 16. That's a that's a bad run out for us.
102:46I think that the the move here is to ensure that we get the tight end and we get those early points
102:55from San Francisco and we also have a free look here. So, I think we're going to lock in a little earlier than I'd
103:03like on Jake Tanis and we're going to take Jake Tanis here in the late 16th round.
103:10If you don't have KD, I think you can wait on Tanjis, but I've been sniped on him before on a KD build, and it's it's
103:16not ideal.
103:21So, our build right now, four running backs.
103:26>> I really like these wide receivers, Theo.
103:29>> I like them, too. But I think that the Kamani Vidal pick was sort of signal here. If you want to take the wide
103:34receiver, >> he did us a favor. Philosophically, I'm opposed to handcuff running backs. This is a format, the million-dollar grand prize where you want to lean into
103:43upside. Drafting a handcuff is theoretically lowering >> not when you're this fra not when you're not when you're this fragile. Not when
103:53you're this fragile. When you're when you're fragile, >> we're not fragile per se, but you're fragile total numbers wise. And I think
104:00you're also not handcuffing a bad >> offense. If your round two picks tears an ACL, we're screwed. Um, and you know,
104:08Katon Mitchell is probably gonna get some runs. So, I don't know. Like, >> what? So, what he'd still be there with
104:13the Mike McDaniel offense, I think Kamani Vidal, this is I've taken Kamani Vidal a bunch and I've gotten sniped on him twice and it it hurts when you get
104:22sniped. I Omar and Hampton team. We probably should have considered taking him there over the Murray one. Um, but whatever. We were a three quarterback
104:31build. It's okay. We got Tonas. I like where you're at on the the one and then KD's definition of fragile. Yes, we know
104:38George KD is injuryprone. George KD could play >> really >> George KD could play 14 games for this team and I think we'll take that run out
104:47if >> it's all that damned haunted 5G electrical substation. If they dismantle that, George KD is breaking leagues this year.
104:57Okay, I think that we need So we have We have four more picks.
105:03We Let me pull up one thing.
105:09I'm just looking at our queue. I'll throw one in the queue that you totally missed out on that I'm surprised.
105:15>> Oh, >> and how do you not like him here?
105:19>> Let's see who this dog [ __ ] player is.
105:22>> I mean, one of your one of your favorite one of your >> Oh, no. Zero upside.
105:28No.
105:28>> You don't think that he has more upside than one?
105:30>> No, dude. One could catch a 100 balls this year.
105:34>> Okay, I'm I'm okay. I'm okay with one.
105:36>> Guess how many catches he had his final season of college. Just guess.
105:40>> Are you kidding me? I put everybody in the world onto him in college. I talked up his up his profile to everyone,
105:46including your guy Brett >> Whitefield. No one heard it cuz it was at player profile.
105:49>> No, no, no. This was Brett Whitefield and I Okay, hold on. Dynasty Life was an institution podcast that came over with
105:55me from Player Profiler Fantasy Sports and now is part of the Rotoire uh podcast network. Jawan Jennings goes, "We're one pick away. I'm okay with
106:03getting this player, but I don't think this player is like and this is definitely they think they're putting you onto the Ascot Rashad Baitman here,
106:10Scott.
106:12Hey [laughter] yo, your your chat is uh is is smarter than I expected. If they're asking, we have the sharpest uh live YouTube
106:21audience in fantasy. A lot of people followed me over here. A lot of people watching Fantasy Points and Rotoire. We see a lot of crossover. Uh you recognize
106:29a lot of these names here. Um >> wow. That's that's like a Paris Hilton's podcast. Had a bunch of Mensa members
106:36listening to it.
106:37>> What? Yeah. I'm now I'm Paris Hilton.
106:39I'm Paris Paris Hilton now. Okay, there we go. Um, okay. So, we are OTC here, and I actually made a made a comment. I
106:47I wanted to take him on a team with Davis Madic, and I I'm glad you're more open-minded to him. I think it's worth a
106:54look for the first couple of weeks. I It's might be a guy that goes right back to the waiverwire, but here we are in
107:00round 17. I'm willing to take a shot on Malik Washington here.
107:05>> Yeah, let's take him.
107:06>> Okay, so let's take Malik Washington.
107:08110 receptions. I mean, any any of the Miami wide receivers are a good pick here. Hey, I I got a question for you.
107:14Is this is this live?
107:16>> Yeah, I'm do. I don't we don't pre-record our main event.
107:20>> This means this means you can't edit anything, right?
107:23>> No, I will not edit. But so, please don't insult other guests who have come on my show.
107:27>> Oh, no. No. Of course. I would never. I Thank you. Thank you. But, but, but can I tell you what my therapist told me?
107:34>> People hate your pick of Malik Washington here.
107:37>> That's fine. That's fine. Malik Washington is negative five yards a dot.
107:42Lol.
107:43>> Nikki Banks clowning.
107:45>> Okay, go for it, Scott.
107:46>> It's a round 17 pick. Is all that matters. We don't we don't need to talk about the downside. Yeah. Let me tell
107:52you what my my therapist told me. So, as you know, Theo, I've been I've been in a really bad place since you left. You
107:59know, just how much I miss you. And so what my therapist told me was um if you love something, set it free. If it was
108:08meant to be, it comes back to you. And you know who also told me that? My accountant when he looked at your
108:15company's debt to IBIDA.
108:17>> Well, hold on a second. That's uh that's that that we are going to, you know, >> pull up pull up.
108:22>> No, no, no, no. We're we're not we're not we're not Yeah, we're not >> they're market cap versus debt.
108:27>> Scott is Scott is just making up stories here. This guy's hilarious. Jaylen Tolbert, people laughed at your Malik Washington uh pick there.
108:37>> And right after that, Jaylen Tolbert goes, "Are you kidding me? Are you kidding?" Malik Washington had 110 catches his final season of college.
108:451,426 yards. The best ever miss tackles force per reception seasons in PFF college history. One is CD Lamb, two is Malik
108:55Washington, three is Malik Washington.
108:58And so it's just Yeah. PPR cheat code upside that's not priced in. Like listen, I'm a believer in Malik Willis. So I'm
109:06I'm more optimistic on Miami than is given credit for. Most of that is the rushing. But listen, talk to any projections guy worth his salt. Chris
109:14Wet is the best in the business. Fantasy Points had the best pro uh DFS projections in the industry last year by
109:21correlation to actual results.
109:24>> How easy is DFS, by the way, Scott? I I mogged you with so many of my DV DFS lineups last year.
109:29>> I mean, I I literally like I just decided Scott started telling me how how DFS how hard it is and how it haunts his
109:36days end of the week and and I ran pure for like six weeks in a row.
109:40>> You It was incredible. Yeah, you you really >> I was on a crazy run. Crazy DFS.
109:44>> You you outplayed me for sure. Um and uh and yeah, it's just if you project out targets, you could have Devon Achan
109:51ranking like leading the position in targets and still and you could have like you Greg Doulich being like fringe top 12 and you could have it's still
110:01like there's a real pathway to Malik Washington having 125 targets.
110:06>> I just think it's worth it's worth taking a look and you could end up with a scenario where you've seen these sort
110:11of guys in a PPR scam. Could we end up with Malik Willis, I mean Malik Washington with, you know, back-to-back six catch games to start out the year
110:19and then people sort of scramble at him off the waiver wire. And this guy in the this guy in the chat saying, "While
110:23Caleb Douglas is out there catching balls with one hand, 30 yards downfield, >> catch and and yeah, and and listen, Caleb Douglas is way ahead of Malik
110:31Washington in my rankings, but Caleb Douglas is also going in like the 12th through 14th round. We don't we're not playing in Narnia over here where you
110:39get Caleb Douglas off your waiver. He he went and hey that's just one >> that's just one play that everyone overreacts to dude every freaking year
110:47is like these guys who do well in preeason against fifth string Morgan Stanley interns skyrocket up and it's like negatively correlated with success
110:57it last year you were like oh Ton Henderson we got to take him in round three rookie season Kyle Pittz jumped 40
111:04rounds in ADP those guys sucked Marquez Callaway tell me you were you were in the FFPC streets for the Marquez Callaway days.
111:12>> No, but I was in an NFC live draft in New York City where somebody fired off Marcus Callaway in the sixth round. And
111:18I would like to add for the record, I had a Trayvon Henderson FFPC main event team last year, Scott, that won the
111:24regular season and won the postseason tournament. That team was incredible because I had Jackson Smith in Jigba and I had JSN. I took him at 24 overall and
111:34I took him ahead of the Lad Macy manager who was drafting right behind me in Vegas. I draft JSN and the manager just
111:41like like chuckles to himself and takes Lad Makakei like like no no no time off the clock like speed like look what I
111:47did to this this content creator who took JSN ahead of me look at this idiot and uh and that team ran pure. So
111:53>> that was one of the first lessons I ever learned in fantasy is like the contrarian drafter has the last laugh.
112:00It was it was um I don't know what year this was um but Tiki Barber went in like round six and this guy got it was a live
112:09draft got my first ever fantasy league my my stepdad's league got e aviscerated like oh he can't hold on to the football
112:17he doesn't score touchdowns and then lo and behold Tiki Barber was the most valuable player in fantasy that year that guy won the league and so that
112:26that's like a legit thing that happens you can't You know, Hubris will be your downfall.
112:32Um, hey, Nidi Djen actually brings up a good name I wasn't thinking of that I I I kind of like.
112:39>> Well, look, I mean, look, let's let's just map this out because we have three picks left and we one of them needs to
112:44be a kicker. One of them needs to be a defense.
112:46>> That's okay. Well, we won't draft a kicker.
112:48>> We have to draft a kicker. This is not Narnia Leagues. You have to do it. So, >> Oh, that's right. That's right.
112:53>> Yeah. This isn't this isn't, you know, shout out to to to uh some of my favorite content creators who love to
112:58write, you know, don't take the kicker and don't write take the defense. Well, maybe in Narnia, in the leagues over in
113:03Narnia, >> imagine like home league drafters drafting against like Sharon from accounting with the Exodia picks. Like it's just impossible to lose.
113:13>> Okay, so there we go. Okay, I will say >> that the the that this is a near Exodia level kicker for me because of the deep
113:21field goals.
113:22>> You got to take him then. Hell yeah.
113:23>> Ryan Paganetti also talked him up.
113:26>> Oh. Oh, baby. I know exactly who this is. You know who this is. 5 foot six.
113:30>> No. No. Look at Look at the look at the look at our queue. Number three. You like this guy? This is a guy with a leg.
113:37>> Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Love.
113:39>> Okay. So, if he if he's there, we're taking him. If not, I do want to grab number one. And I know you don't like
113:45it, but >> No, no, no. I like that. I like one. I think one's a great pick. Is one the same guy that we're that Are you reading
113:52the same board I am? Because I don't want you to like freak out here.
113:56>> Is he a handcuff to one of our players?
113:59>> Potentially.
114:00>> Yeah, I I think that's a great pick. I think I think I'm going to I'm going to take off two. I'm going to leave you
114:06with Exodia Kicker and this >> Well, no, don't take off two because if we miss out on one, then I think two's
114:13in play and he might get >> You're right. You're you're right.
114:16>> So, just leave them in there. But I think the order would be >> I think this is a great list. I'm I'm
114:20happy with any of those guys.
114:21>> Okay. And then I'm also going to throw out Exodia runnerup kicker >> just >> and then I'm going to throw for I'll
114:28throw a free look a free look uh kicker up there too.
114:33We keep getting uh sniped right before.
114:35And it's funny. I get these like late late snipes that they hurt way more because you have fewer guys you want to
114:41draft when you get this late into the >> By the way, I was wrong. I So I thought this kicker was really short. He's not.
114:47He's He's shaped like a lollipop.
114:50That's That's who That's who it is.
114:54>> Okay.
114:55>> Sniping on the Exodia kicker.
114:57>> We are going to take our our cuff running back here.
115:00>> I think I don't like handcuffs, but I I think this is a good one.
115:03>> Round round 18 is fine.
115:05>> Yeah.
115:06>> And it's sort of like the the nightmare scenario. We'll see how it goes. And >> because what at least one of these guys
115:12is egregiously mispriced. like it doesn't make sense for FFPC drafters to be as low on price as they are and not
115:20also high on Helani.
115:23>> So the the team uh we draft our fifth running back and we're we're potentially done at running back here. We'll see how
115:30this sort of runs out here. Three quarterback build. This is the first time we've drafted a three actually I think we did take a three quarterback
115:36build last year on one of those teams with a beeb. Uh correct me if I'm wrong here Scott. And then I think we we just
115:41cut a quarterback early. Rich, the three of Rich and me and you also had a three quarterback uh build that did really
115:49well last year. We ended up cutting one, >> but we ended up I think we got a a quarterback. We got Dart off the waiver
115:54wire and we had like two other really good quarterbacks.
115:57>> We had Trevor Herbert and Dart and that was Yeah. And we were using we using Herbert early in the year and then it
116:04was dart in the middle and then we had taw taw and we smashed and then that team yeah that team just fizzled out any
116:13better than than playing it like that.
116:15>> Yeah, we had a really good team last year with Rich. That team had JSN too.
116:19That team had everybody.
116:21>> Hey, JSN was all you. You caped up for him and we had him on multiple teams and >> Okay. And then
116:27>> worked out really well.
116:28>> Uncle Ted, you only need Yeah, absolutely. I agree that you only need two quarterbacks and back in the day we
116:33would draft a naked quarterback build. I mean, not me and Scott, but I had >> that was a that was in vogue, but the
116:38thing is like you roll with the punches.
116:40If you drafted 5 years ago in NFC and in uh and NFC, you'd see the occasional one quarterback builds. You don't see that
116:48ever. That never happens anymore. Uh MAS goes so we we lose out on one of the two kickers from our queue.
116:55>> Yeah, I like >> T TX Treeder. There's uh there's uh that guy was in the queue. So, that's a nice
117:01read there. The really appreciate the chat, even the haters, the faders, and the doubters in the chat. We appreciate them all. This has been a fun team to
117:09build. Really interesting team.
117:14I'll throw one guy in the the queue though, Scott, and I'm just going to get your read on him and then just see where where your
117:25head's at on this one. I mean, I love the kicker you have in there.
117:28>> Yeah. So, let's take the kicker. And also, we are we are officially kicker and defense here. I'm gonna look at the
117:34defense.
117:36>> Well, that's because we can't take anybody but a kicker and defense the last two rounds here.
117:42>> Who did you want? Naji.
117:44>> Yeah, I was gonna I was going to ask your opinion on Naji.
117:47>> Yeah, shout out Uncle Ted. I mean, I don't know. I I don't I don't need another handcuff running back.
117:53>> Yeah. I mean, I think is there the Tyrone Tracy stuff? Do you think there's I mean, Singleary's there and Tracy's
118:00there. Who could be the odd man out with Naji there?
118:05>> Um, I don't know. I wasn't listening. I have I have 40 text messages from my UFC group chat reminding me uh I'm missing
118:12out on Dana White Contender Series to do this for you.
118:15>> I don't know what that is. Scott, you you have an alter ego or I don't even know it's an alter ego, but you also do
118:20like a UFC podcast.
118:23Bates, >> we take Jake Bates in round 19.
118:26>> You're gonna have a a Lions are going to finish top three in scoring this year.
118:30Yeah, their kicker should have went two rounds ago.
118:32>> And we only get one Lion as Scott says that the Lions I I agree the Lions are awesome this year. I made a comment the
118:39other day on Jacob Gibbs' show that I think or actually also here with Dave Kugi that I think Jared Goff is this
118:45year's version of Matthew Stafford last year. Why are you off of Jared Goff?
118:50because it's a one QB league where all that matters is top five upside and I only draft guys with mobility. Um
119:00but uh yeah, I mean I see it. So like I I made that argument last year. I I was saying dude Jared Goff could easily win
119:08MVP. All that it t all that it would take is him stat patting touchdowns like Matthew Stafford did last year where it
119:14was like, "Hey, let's let's have our quarterback win MVP and just chuck it up to Devonte Adams every single play." Um,
119:21where every single year the Lions rank bottom five in pass rate over expectation inside the 10 yard line. If that just
119:29magically shifted to top eight, top seven, uh, Stafford, I think, was like sixth last year. No, no, no.
119:37Was was second or third. Um, then yeah, he could easily because he he's top three in passing yards every single season. Uh, and over the last three
119:47years, no quarterback has more passing yards than Jared Goff. It's really just he just needs to be a little bit more
119:52stingy and selfish inside the red zone.
119:56>> I hear you. I think that there's a chance.
119:58>> I think that's a great take, Theo, is what I was saying.
120:00>> Yeah. I mean, I think also just with like the the secondary has issues in Detroit this year. And then Scott, when
120:07you look at that division, we just took Kyler Murray as our QB3 in our three QB build. But when you look at that
120:12division, Ben Johnson year two, Green Bay could be a little more open this year. Uh, some good weapons at wide out,
120:19Tucker Craft back. Um, and then certainly Chicago with Ben Johnson year two. That could be a shootout division, too, where I think Detroit could get
120:27themselves in some shootouts. So, I'm into it. One more pick here coming up in the final round. We are going to take a
120:34defense. Uh couple defenses to consider. I think that there's >> I want no part of this. The you like I don't want to waste my brain power on on
120:44defense. You just whoever you want is is fine by me.
120:48>> That sounds fine. So the the one the one pick you don't have a a say in is is the final pick defense. Okay, Scott. I see
120:53how it is.
120:54>> I was just protecting our team from you in the earlier rounds. It's It's hard to screw up a >> I mean upside used to mean
121:01>> I actually love the fact that we set the main event high with Casey Conpsion.
121:06>> I think that's like incredibly on brand.
121:08We've been high on him together during the NFL draft and the process.
121:12>> Are you going to do what? What? What? My favorite thing in the world.
121:15>> 100%. We're going to save that for that.
121:16>> That's my favorite thing in the world.
121:17So, make sure you're not logging out because who cares about a defense pick?
121:22You are you're in for a treat. You're in for a real treat.
121:26>> Yeah. And shout out to the person asking if the Chargers defense went yet. Yes, they did. And the Chargers defense has a
121:33really nice run out of early season uh games. They actually were selected in in uh round 16. So that's a nice call out.
121:41Couple of defenses sort of sort of stand out here. Uh and really we can sort of chase the the week one matchups.
121:49There's also one free look defense on the board. So we we'll see sort of how this goes.
121:58I'm pulling up the schedule here. Uh Scott, >> are we going with a free look? Theo, >> people love when I say the word free
122:08look. There's one defense who who is not really that great, but they are they are certainly a free look.
122:15And then we if we're looking to play the matchups, it's the there's one matchup everybody's sort of chasing.
122:22And I'm pulling up this. I I've sort of liked a couple of these defenses. I think Buffalo's sort of the interesting one.
122:31The kind of the vibes Buffalo on the road in Houston. Could that be a game that sort of tilts uh Buffalo's
122:37direction?
122:38>> I was just thinking of that like I'm like losing Shawn McDermott, there's no way their defense is better. But in FFPC
122:44there's points against isn't a thing, right?
122:46>> It's it's it's not big. If it's like a massive points against it comes into play. But I think I I think I'm down to
122:53three defensive options. I think we're probably in good shape with these three.
122:57>> Did Detroit go? Yeah. Why'd you remove Detroit from me?
123:01>> I'm worried about I'm worried about the the I'm worried about the I mean it's week one. They're playing New Orleans. I
123:06get it. It's not like a unbelievable matchup for them.
123:10>> Tyler Shuck kind of sucks. Like if we're being honest, there's so much hype around him. He's he's really not that
123:15good.
123:16>> Yeah, they're not the worst. Yeah, the the the the best strength of schedule last year and he's was an overdrafted
123:23>> whatever.
123:24>> I think I think that the defense for me comes down to if the free look is there, we just take advantage of it. Even
123:31though it's a game that could go completely south.
123:34>> Uh Kansas City, the vibes are are pretty good right now on how that defense is playing out. I think KC is interesting.
123:42They have the opener against Denver. So, that's really not like a great matchup, especially considering we're might probably going to be starting uh Bon
123:51Knicks. Green Bay's interesting just on the does is there growing pains with Kyler. Um and then Tennessee is interesting because you've got that that
124:01game where the Jets play Tennessee.
124:04Could that just be an awful awful game where it's a slugfest and and maybe Tennessee gets to the quarterback. uh Gino game one. So, and Tennessee, that
124:13game is in Tennessee, so they're sort of an interesting streamer. We are in round 20 here. We can give a quick recap of
124:21our team. We started out with Puka in round one. Debated Brock Bowers and Nua headtohead, Omari and Hampton in round two. I think that fell really well for
124:31us. Made an argument for Coloulston Lovelin. And then Tyler Warren in round three. So end up with wide receiver, running back, tight end, then Cam
124:40Scataboo, Jadarian Price, George KD, Casey Conpsion, Michael Wilson, good value. Stfan Diggs, good value. Jordan Addison, we end up taking over Terrence
124:49Ferguson. We tilted out on that. Marshon Lloyd in round 11.
124:54>> We shouldn't have interrupted you, but yeah, Chad just reminded me of Charlie Kar. Where did he go? Is he if he's not
125:00off the board, he's an amazing pick.
125:03>> We can't take Charlie Kar. No, we can't.
125:05But >> is he an amazing pick?
125:08>> Yeah, >> I know that there's you're you're one of a few that like Charlie Kar anyone's an amazing pick. Honestly,
125:17James Conor was an amazing pick. Shout out that guy.
125:20>> And again, a reminder to everybody, we have to take a defense here.
125:29Dallas, somebody's caping up for Dallas.
125:31I believe they were picked.
125:34Yeah, Dallas was picked, guys. Um >> I'm I I have 50 messages from my UFC group chat. The last two were this was
125:44like the best ever.
125:45>> Aren't the UFC fights usually on Saturday nights?
125:48>> Yeah, but it's Dana White Contender Series. Come on.
125:51>> All right. Well, there we go. I'm sure you're going to get caught up when this is over.
125:54>> Paramount Plus. Yeah, they're they're a sponsor of Fantasy Points. So, shout out to uh Paramount Plus and and the UFC.
126:02>> Paramount Plus, the U the UFC and Stella Artois all all decided that with Theo Grimager gone, they could uh they could
126:12they could jump on. There we go. There we go.
126:16>> Okay.
126:16>> Willing to take that liability. You never know what Theo Greer is going to say on a live stream.
126:22You know, I like the idea of Green Bay against Minnesota in Kyler's first start. And I think the game's in Minnesota. Tennessee gets the game
126:32against against uh New York.
126:35>> Who does Detroit play?
126:36>> Detroit plays against uh New Orleans at home. But >> here personally, but it's it's a defense. It doesn't matter.
126:44>> Let's let's do this. We're going to take San Francisco for the free look. Then we'll just see if it's a chaos thing and
126:49we get a pick six and a special teams touchdown.
126:53>> What's our what's our our bar for keeping them in the lineup?
126:57>> So we take 49ers and we lock in the free look defense there. So we have a couple of free look players. I know everybody
127:04likes I think it was like a drinking game here. Um and the the shout out to pizza machine Jets and Titans that's the
127:11one. So you have access both are going to be OT available. you can grab one. If the 49ers defense doesn't perform, you
127:17just cut them and pick up another defense. It's sort of the the free look thing. And apparently, I think there's a
127:22drinking game for some people that watch my streams. Scott, when I say the word steam, when I say free look, I've got a
127:28couple other Theo uh Theo words that they like. So, >> big shout out Joe King sticking in the chat. We're gonna give a rundown and
127:36we're gonna say, "How does this team win a million dollars, Scott? How does this team win a million dollar?" favorite thing that I cannot do this like it's a
127:42rare talent you have. This is my favorite. This is why I I I draft these teams and let you take these dog [ __ ]
127:48players because >> Okay. And also you you draft these teams cuz we win money with these teams. So a lot of lot of a lot of haters out there
127:54in the streets. We were three for four last year. We've drafted two main event teams. We're going to draft a third.
127:59We'll see if we can keep that one.
128:00>> Were we two two for two the year before that, too?
128:03>> Two for two the year before that. We we've run very pure and a lot of times the they the the people love coming out
128:08and and all this kind of stuff. But yeah, and shout out to everybody saying the the Jets and the Titans, we can take
128:14a look at the 49ers game and then we can cut them and add in a defense that's on the waiver wire. It's just a a free look
128:21is something you don't want to pass up on. All right, we are gonna go go through it here. This is how this team
128:27wins a million dollars. Okay, Puka Nakua uh has a season that actually surpasses 2021 Cooper Cup. He averages 27 points
128:37per game. Devonte Adams regresses and everything gets peppered to Puka Nakua.
128:43He ends up with 195 targets. He he ends up leading the NFL in catches, receiving yardage, and he and he has what's a
128:52touchdown upside season for Puka, Scott?
128:55Like we give him let's give him let's give him let's give him 13. We'll cut it right in the middle.
128:59>> Omarian Hampton leads the NFL in rushing touchdowns on well on his way to being a top five pick in 2027. He has 15 rushing
129:08touchdowns. Uh is a massive edge pick at the end of round two. Tyler Warren finishes as the tight end one overall.
129:16He has >> Brock Bowers ahead of Trey McBride.
129:19>> We're talking about how we win a million dollars. We're not talking about how we win 100K. We're not talking about
129:23finishing fifth here. He had the best college football season in in or the best tight end season in college football history. So,
129:31>> all right, there we go. So, we're going to go tra Tyler Warren finishes tight end one overall, 110 catches, an absurd
129:38target share, leads Indianapolis by a mile. And on top of that, Jonathan Taylor misses five games. They line up Tyler Warren and the Taesm Hill snaps.
129:48He adds five rushing touchdowns on top.
129:51He just sort of breaks fantasy at tight end. Cam Scataboo stays healthy.
129:55Averaged 16 points a game last year. He averages 16 again this year. Ends up with double digit touchdowns. Catches a bunch of passes. 16 and a half points
130:04per game out of the fourth round.
130:05Jadarian Price ends up with a th000 rushing yards, 12 touchdowns. Uh ends up being a really big-time touchdown scorer. So we get a ton of touchdown
130:15equity out of >> Okay.
130:17>> He's Kenneth Walker in the playoffs last year. That's all it is. It's the same thing.
130:21>> There we go. There we go. Kenneth Walker part two. It just continues with Jadarian Price. And for FFPC drafters out there, this is your riser. This is
130:31your free look riser. Jadarian Price falls in the end zone twice in the opener. Jerian Price ends up going 25 picks earlier. And Scott, he catches a
130:41ball out of the backfield and rips off a 40-yard gain on a 40-yard catch and run.
130:46The haters, doubters, and faders are in complete disarray when he does that.
130:50Doesn't find the end zone there. We we'll make it two rushing touchdowns.
130:54George KD plays 16 games, finishes as the tight end three overall behind only Tyler Warren and Brock Bowers. KD has a
131:03fantastic year. Mike Evans is injured and everything runs through George KD.
131:08Casey Conpsion wins offensive rookie of the year. Averages 15 points per game.
131:14Uh is just a massive riser in next year's draft. Michael Wilson leads Arizona in all receiving categories behind at the wide receiver position. Uh
131:24Michael Wilson ends up finishing as the wide receiver 15. Shows last year was not a fluke and he parlays it into a
131:30massive free agent deal next off season.
131:34Stfan Diggs out targets and outproduces Terry McLaren. He is the alpha dog in Washington. The DMV reunion here. Stfan Diggs averages 14 points per game.
131:45Jordan Addison ends up being the spike week guy. We get back to Jordan Addison for the first two years of his career
131:50when he had 19 touchdowns over I believe it was 19 Scott over the first two years of his career catches nine touchdowns
131:56and we get him in this this deep when the weeks that we start Jordan Addison he finds the end zone. That's just sort
132:02of the run out. Josh Jacobs uh gets injured or gets suspended and we end up with Marshon Lloyd as the starting
132:09running back in Green Bay. Bo Nicks with his first top five quarterback finish ever. Bo Nicks uh parlays all this offensive talent around him. The best
132:19offensive line in football. Finishes as the QB8 as a rookie. QB1 last year in points per game. This year finishes as a
132:26top five scorer. Also rushes for seven touchdowns. Continues to produce on the ground. He is the Exodia quarterback for
132:34Scott heading into 2027. Rasheed Shahed.
132:38Uh Scott, you can do this one. What's the bullcase for Shahed? I'm running out of gas on this one. Shahed catches 10
132:43touches.
132:43>> Once upon a time, his numbers were indistinguishable from Chris Olive in games. They were both healthy. Yards per route run, first downs per route run,
132:53basically identical. Um, and so, yeah, wasn't fully healthy. Joined a brand new team midway through the season. Rashid Shahed going to have the JSN year that
133:04JSN had last year. This is the new alpha number one.
133:08>> Oh my god. He usurps JSN. And I'll say Scott, your Scott, your love of Rasheed Shahed is runs so deep
133:16that it's why Scott Barrett is the lowest on Chris of any fantasy analyst right now in the universe because Rasheed Shahed. But Rasheed Shahed ends
133:24up being, let's call him wide receiver 17 on the year. Ends up having a really good year. JSN still is JSN, but she
133:32Shahed has Can we give him 110 targets, Scott? Can we get Chris Wet over there to give him 110 targets and adjust that
133:38tonight?
133:38>> I mean, wide receiver 17's a little high. Let's give him wide receiver 29.
133:44>> 29. Okay, we'll take it. We'll take it.
133:46We'll take it.
133:46>> This team. Yeah.
133:47>> Okay. Malik Willis leads all quarterbacks in rushing yardage. He has 875 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns. Uh we end up actually seeing
133:57him at a little bit better as a passer.
134:00His touchdown totals are better than what we saw with Justin Fields. When Justin Fields finished as a QB5, Malik Willis, can we give him 20 touchdown
134:08passes this year, Scott? How many can we give him?
134:11>> We can give him 20. Yeah, >> we give him 20.
134:13>> Malik Willis is good. People People think he's he sucks. He's Justin Fields 2.0. He He's He's good.
134:19>> Okay. And then we go Kyler Murray. Big bounce.
134:22>> Better than Kyler Murray.
134:23>> Okay. But but for this this argument, Kyler Murray ends up finishing as the QB8 overall. We are in complete like we
134:31are do not even know who to start some weeks because all of our quarterbacks are running so pure.
134:35>> Can't miss Theo. How about that?
134:36>> We literally can't we can't miss. But Kyler Murray finishes as the QB8.
134:40Parlays his year in Minnesota into a big big contract extension. Sort of resets the bar for the rest of his career. Uh
134:49obviously he supports Jordan Addison. He also supports Justin Jefferson. Lot of pressure internally in Minnesota to make Kyler Murray their quarterback of the
134:56future. Jake Tanis does nothing because except George KD takes off week one in in Australia. Jake Tongis has 11 catches in some weird performance and we we
135:06parlay those points. Malik Washington ends up leading M well second in Miami in receptions behind Devon Achan because we we're we're rooting for Han. We have
135:15him in another main event team. But Malik Washington ends up being the wide receiver 30. He's sort of the the out
135:22there uh guy that sort of comes out of nowhere and is viable in fantasy. Helani does nothing but he he backs up Jarian
135:29Price. He's there for the ride. Jake Bates is kicker one overall. The Exodia kicker. It cannot fail. Jake Bates and San Francisco defense 49ers win against
135:41the Rams in week one and the 49ers defense has a pick six and a special teams touchdown. and we just bank those
135:47points and we say, "Thank you for your service, San Francisco. We're gonna add another defense, but we get that one big
135:53week." So, there we go, guys. That's how we do it. Scott, the two of us are drafting a team maybe next week over on
135:59your channel, and then we'll probably do one more over on this channel. Uh, we're going to have to have to chop it up and
136:04negotiate. Let us know in the chat. Do you want to see twotime uh FFPC uh uh 350 champion Abag Batoba with
136:13Scott and I over here or do you want to see Rich Harbar uh with Scott and I over here? We'll we'll chop it up. Maybe
136:19we'll do both over over at your spot Scott or we'll probably do one in one.
136:22Uh really really fun stuff.
136:23>> The chat the chat just is clamoring for more Scott Barrett. They're saying this is the best show you they've ever
136:28witnessed in their life. This should be your your guest for every single show you do. you shouldn't do a single show
136:35without me. Uh, and so just thank you for the chat, for the the kind words.
136:39Yeah, we'll we'll see if I can I can be here again. Yeah, I don't know.
136:43>> Well, listen, the collabs are great.
136:45We're we're negotiating behind the scenes. We'll see about that one. And then one more just what are the free looks? Somebody join us late. There's
136:51the Seattle New England game and there's the San Francisco LA game. You can take those players in and out of your lineup
136:58before the start of Sunday's action.
136:59>> Wednesday game and the what game?
137:01>> There's a Wednesday and Thursday, no Friday. So, you get Seattle, New England.
137:05>> Week one, there's a Wednesday game.
137:06>> Wednesday opener.
137:08>> I didn't even know [laughter] that.
137:09>> Wednesday opener. You learn something new every time you podcast with me.
137:12>> The first Wednesday opener ever.
