Matt Harmon explicitly states he wants to see more of Antonio Williams to better evaluate his role and potential within the Washington offense.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeDepth Chart7:32

Brian Thomas Jr. is losing snaps to rookie Josh Cameron, a development Matt Harmon describes as earned by Cameron's recent performance and toughness.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveRole22:06

Matt Harmon believes Carnell Tate's tape looks really good, noting that he moves well around the formation and looks like an outside receiver starter. While Harmon notes he still needs to improve at the catch point, he is encouraged by his development.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeRole19:11

Matt Harmon notes that there is collective interest in seeing more from Chris Bell, suggesting he could be a potential starter for the Dolphins next year.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveBreakout7:52

Matt Harmon views Christian Watson as a legitimate WR1, citing his improved catch-point reliability, success against man coverage, and downfield route tree. Watson is part of a highly concentrated Packers passing attack, ranking third in the NFL for concentrated air yards alongside Matthew Golden. Harmon admits he was previously skeptical but is now convinced by Watson's development.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveValue17:01

Matt Harmon ranks Adams as a rising veteran, noting that despite target competition from Puka Nakua, Adams remains a high-level technician with significant ability left. Harmon projects him as a WR3 for contenders for the remainder of the season, with potential to maintain value into 2027 if he remains tied to a veteran quarterback like Matthew Stafford.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout13:01

Matt Harmon considers Denzel Boston a top-three rookie receiver if redrafted today, praising his massive size and elite performance on vertical routes as an X-receiver. Harmon compares his profile to a 'Diet Coke Mike Evans' and notes his production is even more impressive given he has yet to be fully unlocked on quick slants and in-breaking routes.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveBreakout1:56

Matt Harmon has bumped Garrett Wilson back up toward WR1 territory in dynasty rankings, citing an improved Jets ecosystem and better usage. Despite a sub-20% slot rate, Wilson is posting career-best efficiency in yards per route run and first downs per route run. Harmon notes Wilson is being utilized effectively as a condensed receiver in bunches and stacks to secure free releases, while quarterback Geno Smith is playing on time and connecting on deep patterns.

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveProjection3:21

Matt Harmon believes Geno Smith is playing significantly better football this year compared to last year, contributing to a more favorable environment for the Jets' offense. Smith is playing on time and effectively utilizing Garrett Wilson on both deep crossing routes and quick hitters.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveValue11:36

Matt Harmon argues that the dynasty market has not caught up to Jaylen Coker's value, ranking him as one of the best young receivers in the NFL. Harmon highlights his route-running, separation, catch-point prowess, and improved success against zone coverage as reasons for his high standing.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

NegativeInjury8:28

Matt Harmon reports that Jayden Reed suffered a serious neck injury and is not expected to play again for the remainder of the season, which has forced the Packers to consolidate their passing game around Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.

Insight page
NegativeInjury8:28

Matt Harmon reports that Jaden Reed is dealing with a serious neck injury and is not expected to play again for the remainder of the season, forcing the Packers to consolidate their passing game around Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.

Insight page

Josh Cameron

PositiveBreakout6:59

Matt Harmon has bumped Josh Cameron up a full tier or two in dynasty rankings due to his toughness, run-game blocking, and ability to act as a bully after the catch. While Cameron remains a developmental prospect needing seasoning in route running and man-coverage separation, he earned more than 10 routes in Week 5 and is actively taking snaps away from Brian Thomas Jr. due to his earned role.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeValue23:12

Matt Harmon notes that Luther Burden's standing has fluctuated in his dynasty rankings, moving from being ranked behind others to being the top guy at the end of last season, with the possibility of rising again in a fluid 2025 rookie class.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveUsage19:23

Malik Washington is consistently earning targets and winning from a traditional slot role. Matt Harmon praises his route running and play in space, noting that he is deserving of the high volume he has received this season.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout7:52

Matthew Golden is thriving in a highly concentrated Packers passing offense, working in tandem with Christian Watson to capture a significant share of the team's air yards following the injury to Jaden Reed. Harmon highlights Golden's breakout performance, noting his increased confidence and speed while playing as an X-receiver, and currently ranks him above other 2025 rookie prospects like Luther Burden and Emeka Egbuka.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveValue21:50

Matt Harmon ranks Mike Evans as a rising veteran, highlighting his unique combination of elite technical route running and physical freakishness. Evans remains a high-end producer for the 49ers, and Harmon views him as a must-have for contending rosters.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveBreakout4:19

Matt Harmon identifies Parker Washington as a top 15-20 NFL receiver who has proven his status through consistent development. Washington demonstrated elite metrics in 2025, including an 83% success rate versus zone coverage after moving to the slot, top-tier tackle-breaking ability, and a 25% contested target rate with a top-six contested catch rate. He is expected to secure a significant contract from the Jaguars and has shown improved performance against press-man coverage in the current season.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveValue17:54

Matt Harmon identifies Diggs as a veteran rising in his personal rankings, citing his status as an elite technician who can win off the line of scrimmage and age gracefully. While his situation in Washington is a rental and he has dealt with injuries, he remains a capable separator who attacks the football well and serves as a nice layup target for Jayden Daniels.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

NegativeProjection22:52

Matt Harmon views Travis Hunter as a wild card prospect due to his dual-position usage, which makes his projection as a receiver difficult compared to pure wide receiver prospects who do not play snaps at corner.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveRole20:17

Matt Harmon views Trey Harris as a talented player who shows good hip sync and the ability to win on in-breakers and out-cuts. Despite injuries and a chaotic Chargers environment, Harmon identifies him as a nice talent who, while perhaps not a future superstar, demonstrates legitimate route running and separation ability. Harmon explicitly prefers to see more of Harris over Quentin Johnston for the remainder of the season.

0:00What's going on everyone? Matt Harmon here from Reception Perception. We're going to do a little Dynasty Fantasy Football Marketplace check-in here and
0:06look at some players that are rising up the board at the wide receiver position, not just in my rankings, but in rankings
0:12across the industry. So, with that, let's get into it.
0:24All right. So, two things before we get going here. One, you guys know my Dynasty rankings are available at receptionperception.com.
0:32We've got a tool on the site that compares my rankings to the marketplace out there, which guys I'm higher on the
0:37consensus, which guys I'm lower on the consensus, buys, sells, super buys, and all of that. We'll talk a little bit about those throughout the course of
0:44this video. The other thing to note, too, in-season charting. I'm charting more players and more film than ever this season, getting tons of exposure to
0:52all these different players. All the guys we're going to talk about here today in three different groupings, I have charted some of their games this
0:59year, whether I've written them up or not, that's a different discussion. I've charted some of their film this season.
1:02So, again, it's giving us a real-time update on how these players are performing on tape right now, which matters more than anything else. Okay.
1:11So, with that, let's get into the main names here. These are the guys who are really rising based on how they're
1:16performing so far this year. Number one player to talk about here, Garrett Wilson, a long-time favorite of mine at Reception Perception because this guy is
1:25one of the best separators in the NFL, excellent route runner, really good detailed player. We're showing his route chart on the screen from 2025 here.
1:35Again, this player is always been at the top of my list in terms of guys that I love to watch explode out of their cuts,
1:43explode out of their breaks, and it's just been a matter of environment for him.
1:49I have been pleasantly surprised with the Jets ecosystem so far this season.
1:55Frank Reich, I think is calling things pretty well, designing things pretty well. I'll come back to that relative to Garrett Wilson's role here in a second.
2:02I also think Geno Smith is a clearly better player this year than he was last year with the Raiders, likely just
2:08because this ecosystem feels better.
2:11There's some better play at the tackle position, certainly for the New York Jets, much better weaponry here as well in New York for Geno. He's been pushing
2:19the ball downfield. He's been getting Garrett Wilson the ball on these long developing crossing routes, uh quick hitters as well. So, he's able to pepper
2:28in. They also have an excellent connection on the deep ball as well.
2:32Some of the go patterns I think Wilson is running at a higher rate this year and is getting the football more as
2:37well. Some of these deep corners which you're seeing here Garrett Wilson runs at an extremely high rate. Again, this is just one of the better
2:44receivers in the NFL. Period, is Garrett Wilson. He's always been that guy. He's always been capable of it. Now, we're seeing him really get unleashed this
2:53year and the thing that I've really liked about him and Frank Reich's offense is he's been kind of used he's been used
3:00outside much more than I expected.
3:02Garrett Wilson is playing a career low percentage of his snaps in the slot. And this is a guy who told me years ago he
3:08loved playing from the slot, loved running these like deep overs from the slot. So, I've been kind of surprised by the slot percentage which is sub 20% so
3:14far this year. And still Garrett Wilson is having his most efficient season in a yards per route run, first downs per
3:21route run basis, which of course is environmental and team sensitive those stats there. But, the way that he's lining up outside is outside is mostly
3:29as like a condensed receiver. He's in some of these bunches and stacks and that's how they've been able to get him
3:34these free releases and layup looks and Geno's just playing good football, playing on time. So, Garrett Wilson, I will admit, dropped him a little bit post-draft. Got
3:43a little excited about some of these rookies and just like, "Ah, is it going to happen for Garrett Wilson this year?"
3:48He's a guy I bumped back up close to that like wide receiver one territory in dynasty because I think we are seeing a
3:53pretty solid ecosystem change right now and let's be honest, we know it can even get better from an environment standpoint for Garrett Wilson if they
4:00really settle that quarterback position in the long term. So, a guy that I think is justifiably going up the rankings right now is Jets wide receiver Garrett
4:07Wilson. All right, next guy to talk about is Parker Washington. Got to talk about Parker Washington. His rise up the dynasty ranks has been epic. It's been
4:16fast and quite frankly, it has been deserved. This is an excellent football player in Parker Washington who just continues to stack
4:25good performances, continues to check boxes for us in every part of playing the wide receiver position. It was pretty clear on tape
4:33that he was the best Jaguars wide receiver in 2025. Very clear on tape at least to me. And what we've seen from
4:40him is continual development, but even going back to that 2025 season, if you guys subscribe to the site, you know this based on his profile from 2025,
4:49once he stopped playing out of position because he was playing out of position as kind of like a far out wide reserve
4:55outside receiver, once he moved into the slot, he really kicked up his success rate versus zone coverage, which is over 80%, about 83%. We're talking about in
5:04the territory of some of the top receivers in the NFL from a success rate versus zone standpoint. However, you know, people forget this. I don't just chart
5:13route running. I don't just chart how often get guys get open. I chart everything you need to know about the wide receiver position. He was the best
5:19player in terms of breaking tackles that I charted in 2025. He was one of the best players from a contested catch
5:26standpoint that I charted in 2025. I saw a high contested target rate over 25% and was sixth best in contested catch
5:35rate. And I mean, you guys are seeing it this year. He's continuing those things as well. So, I think this is a player
5:41who is just straight up a top 15 receiver in the NFL. You know, we could sit here and argue with the rankings and
5:48I would love to do that. I'd love to debate this player versus that player.
5:51Um, but at the same time, he's within that ballpark. So, I can I don't think you can sit down and do a wide receiver
5:58ranking and not throw him in the top 20 bare minimum, but either way, I think he's pushing towards that top 15
6:06status. He's still very young. He's going to get a big contract from the Jacksonville Jaguars and again, he's not a fluke. Like this is a prospect I
6:14really liked as a Bud Light golden tape type of player, a true sleeper. There are receipts out there, by the way, you
6:19can find those.
6:20So, again, Parker Washington, he's definitely outkicked my expectations.
6:23He's looked better on tape this year than he did last year, specifically winning against press man coverage. So, no more reasons to doubt Parker
6:31Washington. He continues to prove himself worthy of this status.
6:36One more note before we talk the next group here. Just want to note Josh Cameron's a guy that is also jumping up
6:41dynasty rankings as well.
6:44A rookie that was a is a still, honestly, is a pure developmental wideout. I'm talking about like receiving skills, running routes,
6:50getting open against man coverage. Those are still works in progress for him.
6:54But, you are seeing a tough player who's great in the run game. Week five finally ran more than 10 routes in a game. So,
7:03great, we're getting a little bit more passing game involvement. I love his toughness. I love how he blocks in the run game. He's a bully after the catch,
7:10which he was in college as well. So, definitely still needs more seasoning from a wide receiver standpoint, but you're seeing some good tape on him. Uh,
7:17I will have a charting profile up on him here shortly and of course, everybody, all the rookies will get a charting
7:22profile for the rookie report in November later on this season, but I've really liked what Josh Cameron is is showing us and
7:29you know, he's taking snaps away from Brian Thomas Jr., which is deserved. I mean, at this point, Josh Cameron is is
7:33earning that role. So, not a guy that I'm shooting up the rankings, but certainly someone I think I'm keeping an eye on and I have
7:40bumped him up a full tier or two of recent days here. Okay, next group of guys we're going to talk about here,
7:47Christian Watson and Matthew Golden, the two Packers wide receivers.
7:51These guys are just absolutely crushing it. Heading into week six, they are number three in the NFL in terms of concentrated air yards. What I mean by
8:00that is like, which are the top two guys on the team and their highest percentage of air yards? Like owning a big chunk of
8:07the air yard pie between just two guys.
8:10It goes number one, Atlanta Falcons, Drake London, of course, owns a huge share of it. My guy Jahan Dotson, by the
8:16way, also owns a pretty sizable share of the air yards in Atlanta. Then your number two team is the Dallas Cowboys,
8:22George Pickens CD Lamb, of course.
8:23Number three, the Green Bay Packers.
8:25These two guys are working in tandem and working extremely well together.
8:30Obviously, Jayden Reed's injury is a big part of this. We don't know if and when Jayden Reed is going to play again this
8:35season. It's a serious serious neck injury. I don't think he is, but I wish I knew he's not playing again this
8:39season. So, we're moving forward with just these two guys in a highly concentrated offense here.
8:46Christian Watson runs one of the most downfield-oriented route trees in the entire NFL, and he's continuing to get better and better on
8:55an every year basis. I'll admit this, rookie season, I was pretty skeptical of Christian Watson what he was putting out there. Didn't totally love the full
9:03field technique ability. Was a little hit or miss at the catch point. Now, he has become a pretty damn reliable player at the
9:11catch point. I love that improvement from him.
9:14Um last season, he was one of the better catch point players uh I charted reliable in contested catch situations, attacks the football really well. We
9:21also know he's an excellent uh after catch player when he really gets rolling, too. So, I've been impressed more and more with
9:30Christian Watson and what he's shown.
9:31And last year, he really took a big step in his ability to beat zone coverage, especially on the downfield looks. This
9:37year, I think I'm seeing another step from him against man coverage. In the games I've charted this year, he's been excellent against man coverage. So,
9:44we're just running out of reasons to doubt Christian Watson as a wide receiver one in the NFL.
9:50I think I'm pretty much at that point, ready to say it. Obviously, there's still some injury risks, uh but man, he's a great player tied to a great
9:56quarterback in a team that's throwing the football all of the yards. I think the rise for him is deserved.
10:02But Matthew Golden here, no slouch to him as well, because he's been excellent in his given role this year. And his
10:09role has really, really changed this year.
10:11As a rookie, Matthew Golden kind of moved around to all these different roles. When Jayden Reed got hurt in 2025, Matthew Golden
10:19kind of moved into his slot move around role. This year, he doesn't just play X, but he pretty much is just tethered outside and on
10:25ball as that X receiver. And my god, he looks so much faster. I think he's playing with so much more confidence,
10:31which I think is probably leading into why he looks faster. He just he's got a good sense of what he's doing right now.
10:37And I think the thing that really is so cool to see with Matthew Golden this year is that he is essentially just the
10:44player he was at Texas. He's running kind of a straight-line breaking route tree vertical down the football field.
10:50Those lean into all of his best routes from college. And that catch point prowess that he showed in his final season at Texas is back this year. I
10:58mean, you got to watch the film on this guy and see like the late hands for him, how he attacks the football, the way he
11:03works in flight. I've been so impressed with Matthew Golden. Admittedly, I was kind of a Matthew Golden centrist in the off season. Didn't have like a really
11:10strong take. Was still ahead of re-draft ADP on him, but was kind of dynasty skeptical, maybe. I'll admit that I was
11:16wrong to be skeptical. He's proved me wrong this year with his play, for sure.
11:20So, really like like them as a prospect.
11:23Was kind of skeptical Not skeptical, but like a centrist after the rookie year.
11:26The profile wasn't bad, but it just wasn't oh my god, we got to get this guy the ball more. His play this year has
11:33been demanding and commanding of the yardage and air yards and targets that he has been getting. Okay, next guy on the list here.
11:40And we could be quick on this one cuz again, I feel like I talk about this guy in every standalone video, but Jaylen
11:43Coker deserves that conversation at this point.
11:47When it's Jaylen Coker and Tedarrell McMillian out there, it's a pretty close kind of one-two punch between these two wide receivers and I still feel like the
11:55dynasty market has not caught up to Jaylen Coker's deserved ranking as a year three player who's young, extremely athletic, plays the position extremely
12:06well. Again, you go back to his charting from 2025, not only did he show a good ability to win with his routes and get
12:15open and create separation, he was also one of the two or three best players from a catch point standpoint that I
12:24charted last season. This year, we're seeing him really ratchet up his success rate versus zone coverage, which is critical for a guy who plays in the slot
12:32like Jaylen Coker does. He's just one of the best young receivers in the NFL, period, end of story. So, I'm going to
12:38try to continue to be higher than market on Jaylen Coker cuz the guy is a stud.
12:42I'm running out of words to say it. Like he is a superstar player on the come up.
12:46So is Tedarrell McMillian. We all know that. The dynasty market knows that with Tedarrell McMillian. I still feel like Coker there needs to be some catching up with
12:55him and how this Panthers offense is evolving. All right, last one to talk about here in the main guys section, rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston. I
13:02mean, if we redrafted today the rookies, how does Denzel Boston not at least go in the top three? This guy rocks. Uh he
13:11is amazing. I wish somebody I I So I would I I wish somebody had said that he was kind of like a Diet Coke
13:18Mike Evans. Someone should have said that.
13:21I did say that. It was me. Anyways, he looks That's That's he looks like on tape. He's huge, he's massive, and he's
13:28only playing X receiver.
13:30That is the most impressive part about Denzel Boston's start this season.
13:34Outside, on the ball, running vertical routes is Denzel Boston.
13:39And he's cooking on those. All the critical routes on the X receiver tree, go routes, out cuts, deep stop routes.
13:47Now, he's starting to mix in these like quick slants and, you know, Deshaun Watson's not hitting him on these quick slants really
13:54consistently. Especially in the last few games, they've been like behind him the whole deal, whatever. Also, Watson's not really seeing it very well, not really
14:00throwing over the middle of the field very much, which is why which is why Kacy Canteceon hasn't quite popped off yet cuz
14:06that's where he's running most of his routes.
14:08But, honestly, that's where Denzel Boston wins on these like big in breakers, dig routes, post routes, over routes, and he hasn't really gotten
14:15unlocked there. So, that's pretty scary to consider that Denzel Boston there's more meat left on the bone and he's already off to this
14:22fantastic start. I'm buying the fantastic start. I still I'm buying Kacy Canteceon. I think these guys are going to be a great one-two punch
14:30whenever they can get a real deal quarterback in there.
14:33Again, it would be hard to not have Boston in your top three rookies right now at the wide receiver position. I
14:38know we haven't seen much from a few of the other guys. We'll come back to that at the very end of the video, but at the
14:43same time, I love what I've seen from Boston, totally buying it. The guy is is just so so so good. You love to see that
14:51for a big vertical X receiver.
14:53Speaking of big vertical X receivers, want to talk three veterans that are rising up my personal rankings as we get into the season here. And this is how it
15:01goes. Right, in the off season, you know, get excited about the younger guys, whatever. We get in season, I'm trying to win some games. I'm prioritizing
15:10these three veterans. Mike Evans, Stefon Diggs, Davante Adams. Let's start with Mike Evans. As I mentioned, big vertical X receiver. We talked about Diet Coke,
15:18Bud Light Mike Evans. Let's get the full AB ABV version in here. Mike Evans, okay? Denzel Boston, that's great. Let's talk about the real thing. Mike Evans.
15:26Mike Evans is so good, okay? He's just consistently getting open for the San Francisco 49ers, create separation still, and he has 98th percentile arms
15:36still to this day. He will until the day he falls off planet Earth.
15:40You know, he's just a physical freak. He is, like the other two guys, Diggs and Adams, which talk about them, but they're these
15:47high-end technicians who have been some of the best receivers of the reception perception era, 2014 to current, and they're still hanging on because
15:55they're still these great technicians who can win off the line of scrimmage and get open.
15:59Mike Evans is a great technician who can win off the line of scrimmage and get open and is also a physical freak. Those
16:05are kind of the two things you need if you're going to age gracefully at wide receiver. You need to be an elite
16:09technician or you need to be a physical freak who can just at 33, 30, whatever years old, you are still more athletic than some of the
16:16guys who are 26, 27 because you got a lot more left to lose.
16:20Mike Evans is both of those things. He's perfectly deployed on these dig routes, slants, quick hitters for the San Francisco 49ers, but he also has been
16:28winning on some of these quick outs too when he's moved off the line of scrimmage or in condensed formation. So, I think Mike Evans, as long as he can
16:35stay healthy, knock on wood, the whole deal, he's going to continue to put up big, big numbers. And if you're contending right now, I love having Mike
16:41Evans on the roster. To a lesser degree, I like having Stefon Diggs and Davante Adams, too. We know that Adams, when
16:47Puka Nacua when he's active, Nacua is going to soak up all the targets. We saw against the Bills on Monday night, 24
16:54targets, the most of Puka Nacua's career while he's dealing with a pre-hernia, whatever that is. It's not going to stop him from getting 24 targets. Apparently,
17:02Adams goes to the backseat, but we also have seen that there's really still a ton left in Adams's game. He's got a lot of gas left in the tank. Thank
17:11god they didn't trade him in the offseason. He really makes their vertical passing game, the outside stuff come alive. Adams is a technician who
17:17will continue to be able to run routes at a high level until he's like 40 years old. He's not going to play that long, I
17:22get it, but I'm exaggerating, but still, someone that I think still has a ton of ability tied with Matthew Stafford for
17:28at least the rest of this season.
17:30If you're a contender, I think he can give you wide receiver three value the rest of the way. And I think he might
17:35have another season left in him as well based on what I'm seeing so far. I mean, he's cutting up some really good corners
17:40on the boundary with his route running, with his technique, with his timing. If he's another veteran quarterback and him next year, or if he's back in LA and
17:48Matthew Stafford's back, I think he can give you a 2027 value as well. Diggs is obviously a little less certain because
17:54it's a rental situation in Washington and he's dealt with some injuries, but when he's been on the field, he's still a guy who can get open and be a really
18:02nice layup target for Jayden Daniels. I definitely want to see more of Antonio Williams. Terry McLaurin is also having a really nice season as well, but don't
18:09forget about Stefon Diggs as well, someone that can give you some weeks if this Washington offense can continue to hang on. I still think Diggs has a lot
18:16left in the tank, not just from a separation route running standpoint. He was another guy in 2025 that really attacked the football well, caught
18:24things, and I think we've seen that this season as well. So, want to see more of Antonio Williams.
18:30You know, I still like what I'm seeing from Stefon Diggs as well. Okay, third group of players to talk about here.
18:35These are the kind of shaky, maybe sick pup sort of names here. Again, I say they're shaky because things can change
18:42really quickly in rooms like this on bad football teams.
18:46Especially a team like the Miami Dolphins, who are the worst offense in the NFL. They're probably the worst team in the NFL. They They might win one to
18:53two damn games this year. They're just not very talented. But, the offense has at least looked functional.
19:00They've Not good. Again, not good.
19:03But conceptually, there's some decent stuff here.
19:06And the receivers are probably one of the bright spots of of offense.
19:10And I know we're all wanting to see more from Chris Bell. Caleb Douglas flashed early in the season. I think these guys
19:16are probably good players that can stick on the roster and maybe even be their starters next year. And yet it's Malik
19:23Washington who just continues to gobble up targets. And I like Malik Washington.
19:27I was a fan of his during the 2024 NFL Draft. I gave him a day two ranking and he was kind of like a solid role player
19:34the first couple of years. He fell in the draft because of a neck issue. He was kind of duplicative to some of those
19:40other, you know, gadgety type target receivers that Mike McDaniel had with the Dolphins during his run there. But this year we're seeing him just win more
19:47from a true traditional slot standpoint.
19:50I really like his route running that he's showing on tape as well. So, is he some future superstar? I don't know
19:55about that, but he's getting targeted at a really high level. He's getting the looks. He's earning those looks in my opinion. You know, I'm kind of mixed on
20:02the whole targets are earned as a phrase, but I do think we're seeing some really good stuff from Washington. He has deserved of the volume that he's
20:08been getting. I like the tape, like the play in space. Want to continue to monitor him. So, definitely someone that is a nice super super buy low for me.
20:16Trey Harris is the other sick pup name here. And again, tough cuz he's dealt with injuries. The entire Chargers environment situation is poisoned. I
20:24think it's trending towards everybody's getting cleared out at the end of the year there. But I maintain that Trey Harris, like I want to see more of him
20:32and less of Quinton Johnston the rest of the way. If Trey Harris can get back healthy, I think he's shown some good
20:38hip sink and ability to win on these in breakers and big out cuts, which are key to this offense for however long this
20:45offense lasts. So, again, Trey Harris, is he going to pop? I don't know. He might be replaced. Like they need another wide receiver at some point here
20:52soon.
20:53But the this entire room has dealt with injuries. And in chaotic situations, I do think a nice talent like Trey Harris,
20:59and I think Trey Harris is a nice talent who, again, might not be a future superstar, but can play in the league
21:04and is is showing a a something something. Someone to definitely keep an eye on as he continues to roll out through the season if he can get back on
21:11the field and stay healthy. So, someone I've seen a little bit of good route running and separation ability from.
21:16Want to continue to see more of him as the Chargers, I would imagine, start to look to the future.
21:22All right, want to give out a quick note here on just some of the guys who are, you know, falling or at least are in
21:28shakier standing as these other players are rising. The guys who have really been falling down the ranks for me as I
21:35look to bump up some of these other players are the current round one rookies. And I'm conflicted on this, right? I mentioned Casey Caincepcion I'm
21:43not concerned about. I think the tape on him has looked good. I think the tape on Carnell Tate has also looked really good
21:48so far.
21:50Needs to, you know, finish some plays at the catch point but looks like he belongs as an outside receiver starter and moves around the formation.
21:57The other guys like we just haven't seen Jordan Tyson yet. Makai Lemon, the environment's been very shaky. It hasn't quite clicked yet for him. So,
22:05at this point in the calendar, I'm kind of prioritizing these guys who are also young and actually are scoring points and are really like proven great
22:14players over maybe some of the ideas of the rookies. Again, it's team dependent.
22:19That's why I do tiers with my rankings because if you're looking in the tier and, you know, you can't quite grab one
22:24of those veteran players but you're more so looking towards the future. All right, well, in 3 months, 4 months, hell, a year from now, I could see maybe
22:31a guy who's lower in the tier but is younger bumping up along the way. Again, that's the point of tiers to me. Some
22:37other players who are just sort of again, it's not quite happening. A guy like Emeka Egbuka is a great example.
22:43Like we talked about Matthew Golden earlier. If you think about that 2025 rookie class, it was pretty consensus or at least it should have been consensus
22:51like that Terrion McMillan, if you put the Travis Hunter wildcard aside cuz obviously that was going to be a wildcard. He was going to play corner.
22:57None of these other dudes were going to play any any snaps of corner. So, it made it a difficult projection. I loved
23:02his talent, loved his potential at receiver, hoping to see more of him at receiver at some point, but put him aside for a second. Terrace Marshall was
23:09the top guy. Like that pretty set in stone there. There was kind of an argument about Emeka Egbuka, Luther Burden, Matthew Golden. At the beginning
23:16of 2025, I was like, "Man, Emeka Egbuka over all these guys." Then at the end of last season, like, "Luther Burden over
23:22all these guys." Right now, it's "Matthew Golden over all these guys."
23:26Is there a chance it flips around for a guy like Burden or Egbuka, some of these other players again that have kind of
23:30fallen back in the current dynasty rankings? I totally think that's possible. Again, I don't want to get too prisoner of the
23:36moment here, and that's why we do tiers.
23:38So, when you're looking at the rankings, at least to me, keep a holistic view of what these tiers are and just how close and tight some of
23:46these rankings are. So, we've gone over some risers here. You will see some fallers if you're checking out my rankings at
23:52receptionperception.com. Certainly, if you're looking across the dynasty market, you're going to see some of the fallers, but things change fast around
23:58here, and that's why the exercise is challenging, also why it's pretty fun, and why you got to keep up with the
24:05film, which of course you can do.
24:08You can watch the tape yourself. You should watch the tape yourself. But, you can also subscribe to receptionperception.com, where I'm doing
24:14in-season tracking every single week, writing up a quick little hitter on what I'm seeing on tape. If you're a Prime and Sicko subscriber, you can get that
24:21in the in-season charting tracker on the site. The other cool thing is the rookie report is coming up. Some of these round
24:28one rookies that we've talked about here that, you know, hey, what are they really looking like in isolation? You're going to be able to find that out once
24:35we get into November. We're going to have the full rookie report available.
24:37It's one of the most fun features on the site. I love putting it together every single season. So, a lot of great stuff
24:43happening at receptionperception.com. A lot of great stuff happening at this YouTube channel. So, if you've made it this far in the video,
24:48you're one of the chosen ones. You're one of my people. And to show us that, why don't you subscribe to the channel? We've got a ton of great
24:55stuff coming up here all season long, especially once we get to the off season tons of cool things are happening on the
25:00channel. So subscribe, like the video, leave a comment who's rising up your personal Dynasty rankings. I would love to know.
25:07All right, with that I'll catch you guys in the next one.
