Broncos 1st read target shares in Week 1, per @FantasyPtsData: Pat Bryant - 35.7% Evan Engram - 21.4% Jaylen Waddle - 14.3% Courtland Sutton - 14.3% Troy Franklin - 7.4% And route shares... Pat Bryant - 57.6% Evan Engram - 60.6% Jaylen Waddle - 78.8% Courtland Sutton - 69.7% Troy Franklin - 24.2% A really poor game for Denver and Bo Nix in particular, assume there's much better days ahead. I'm not taking much away from the small sample here in a weird game, other than that Pat Bryant is clea...PositiveUsageSep 3, 2026
Since 2023, Jaylen Waddle is 7th among 90 WRs in yards per route run from the "Z" alignment (2.88 YPRR), and is t-9th in targets per route run (0.31 TPRR), per @FantasyPtsData. However, of these 90 WRs, he's just 85th in percentage of routes run as the Z. That's expected to change notably, with Courtland Sutton primarily holding down the X role (8th among all WRs in routes run from X alignment last year). Major efficiency boost coming in 2026 🚀PositiveUsageSep 3, 2026
As we gear up for the last weekend of draft season, check out my top targets in 2026 (link in replies). Guys I've been pounding the table for all offseason like Kenneth Walker, Jaylen Waddle, and plenty more. Will also be releasing my top 2026 fades before this weekend...PositiveNewsSep 3, 2026

Important fantasy takeaways from last night’s preseason action (Friday 8/21): + Omar Cooper back to starting slot, still clearly behind AD Mitchell it appears. Expecting a lot of 2TE sets w/ Sadiq and Mason Taylor too + Jaylen Warren starts but he and Rico split work evenly, would expect something similar in season to start (Warren > Rico for me) + Jonathon Brooks remains workhorse w/o Chuba, would expect 1A/1B in favor of Chuba to start year but that's just me guessing + Tet McMillan gets sl...PositiveNewsAug 22, 2026
Jaylen Waddle = the 🔑 to winning fantasy football in 2026NegativeUsageAug 6, 2026
I had drafted Terry McLaurin precisely zero times before the Diggs signing, so no cope here. But I don’t think the Diggs signing is really bad for him. Sure, it probably caps his raw target ceiling some, but that hasn’t been Terry’s game anyways. He’s been a deeper aDOT guy who hasn’t been reliant on huge target volume, as his massive 2024 season was tied for his LOWEST target total of the last 4 seasons pre-2025 injuries. A competent WR2 should theoretically help sustain more drives for this...PositiveUsageJul 14, 2026
Courtland Sutton has never finished inside the top 18 WRs in FP/G in 8 seasons (and inside the top 24 just once), despite an ideal set up the last couple years with no target comp in a good offense. He’s never been close to an elite target-earner (0.22 TPRR over L5 years) and is pretty clearly capped upside wise. Jaylen Waddle has remained highly efficient (0.25 TPRR and 2.27 YPRR since 2021, 2.4+ YPRR in 3 of L4 years per @FantasyPtsData) in the face of really poor environments recently, an...PositiveValueJul 8, 2026
My favorite longshot bets to finish TOP 5 at their position (QB/TE outside top 10 in positional ADP, RB/WR outside top 15) QB - Brock Purdy (QB12) RB - Josh Jacobs (RB18) WR - Jaylen Waddle (WR24) TE - Oronde Gadsden (TE17)PositiveUsageApr 18, 2026
A ton of Rome in the replies here, but he’s pretty comfortably my 3rd option of this group in dynasty: Flowers Waddle — Rome Zay/Waddle have shown much more in their careers (production/target ceiling wise), and have been much better on a per route basis (both at 0.24 TPRR and ~2.2 YPRR). They also have clear paths to WR1 volume in strong offenses for the next couple years at least. As for Rome, he has two potentially elite targets to compete with that are younger than him (very live to be ta...PositiveValueApr 8, 2026

Jaylen Waddle is currently shaping up to be one of my biggest stands in drafts. A highly talented WR and one of the most efficient in the entire NFL (2.4+ yards per route run in 3 of last 4 seasons, 2.7+ in 2 of those), that has fallen victim to some uniquely poor situations for himself in recent years (tyreek crushing + run game exploding in '23, broken offenses last 2 years). Deployment has been largely static too over the past few years due to plenty of other speedy YAC threats in the Miam...PositiveNewsApr 1, 2026
What seems to be more powerful is combining YACOE/Rec and Yards/Rec over expected together, while also looking at the most efficient players when targeted (passer rating when targeted). Here's the list of the WRs with a 75th percentile or greater for all three metrics: Jaylen Waddle Puka Nacua👀 Ja'Marr Chase Jameson Williams CeeDee Lamb Brandon Aiyuk DeVonta Smith Treylon Burks Tee Higgins Jerry Jeudy None of this year's prospects make the list, but if you simply drop the threshold to be a l...
