Kenneth Walker forced 16 (!) missed tackles in Week 1, per @FantasyPtsData. That was the 2nd most by an RB in any individual game since 2021, and the most since 2022.PositiveUsageSep 3, 2026

Emari Demercado a bit of a surprise cut for KC. Think this massively strengthens the Emmett Johnson RB2 case (and helps chances of some sort of standalone role), while also giving us a higher likelihood that Kenneth Walker could be in line for a lot of the receiving/2 min drill work out of this backfield (theoretically where Demercado would've worked in). Walker is my 9th ranked player in redraft half PPR formats.PositiveNewsAug 13, 2026

Multiple fallacies working together here (on Kenneth Walker TD upside): The double-digit TD threshold is quite convenient, considering he had 8, 9, and 9 in his other the 3 seasons prior to last year (while playing 11, 15, and 15 games, respectively). He's shown upside here, in much lesser environments. The other issue here is that applying that goal line rush rates from years past when the Chiefs had far less talented RBs in their backfield feels pretty pointless. They ran around the goal li...PositiveUsageJun 18, 2026
Kenneth Walker vs. Zach Charbonnet opportunity share by year (in completed games both were active): + 2023: 71.8% vs. 25.1% + 2024: 73.4% vs. 24.8% + 2025: 50.9% vs. 44.4% The narrative that Ken Walker never has handled a heavy workload is just patently false.
