I’ve been vocally fading Omarion Hampton all offseason going at the 1-2 turn, but I think the price is pretty right for him now at the very end of that round 2 RB tier (mid round 2 price per FantasyPros real-time ADP). Likely looking at a much improved offensive environment with the OL healthy and McDaniel as play caller (who has supported elite run games in the past), yet was able to score quite well in year 1 in spite of that (RB13 in FP/G). For me, Omarion Hampton just didn’t show enough as a rookie to be going as an early R2 pick. Was mostly inefficient even prior to his injury and the Chargers offense collapsing (outlier game against NYG) albeit on lower volume. Keaton very live to take a lot of the designed touches, screens, outside runs, etc. out of the backfield, and Vidal similarly so for passing downs (preferred in pass pro down stretch of last season).
