Positive signalMatchup

Carolina's bottom-six run defense and loss of Devin Lloyd create ideal matchup for Gibbs.

Gibbs faces Carolina's run defense, which ranks among the worst units in the league and bottom-six in EPA allowed per rushing play. The Panthers' injury to linebacker Devin Lloyd, their best run-stopping defender with game-wrecking versatility, compounds the problem. With the Lions' offense humming and Carolina's defense ranked bottom-six in nearly every key metric, this projects as one of the week's highest-scoring games, setting up an ideal matchup for Gibbs' explosive dual-threat production.
