From the article

If I told you my Top 20 included Miles Sanders, Jaylen Warren, Khalil Herbert, Gus Edwards, Elijah Mitchell, Damien Harris, Matt Breida, and Bilal Powell... but not Christian McCaffrey or Saquon Barkley (they rank 23rd and 24th, respectively), well, things wouldn't be smelling so good anymore.

STACKED’s take

Positive signalProjection

McCaffrey's 23rd YPC ranking despite elite status proves YPC is flawed.

Christian McCaffrey ranks only 23rd in yards-per-carry metrics despite being an elite running back, demonstrating that yards-per-carry is a flawed metric that underestimates the value of truly great backs.
