RotoWire NFL Articles on Cam Skattebo

Skattebo's role uncertain after fumble; still only rostering option.

Skattebo took 63% of snaps and 16 of 28 RB opportunities (57% of RB touches) but his lost fumble in overtime brought a disappointing individual campaign to the forefront. He had 13 carries for 59 yards and 2 catches for 12 yards. His usage shares were encouraging in Weeks 2-3, but he's settled into a lesser role the past couple of games, and even that doesn't feel totally secure. The Giants could reintroduce Devin Singletary, who has been a healthy scratch. Skattebo is still the only one worth rostering in most 10/12-team leagues, but that doesn't mean he'll be startable all year. A home matchup with the Saints does make Skattebo startable this upcoming week.
