Good news: The artist known as Bill had a nice 33-yard TD run last week. Bad news: Rachaad White pretty easily led the way in snaps (60% vs. 35%), and Austin Ekeler stayed involved as well. It's pretty impossible to trust this backfield at the moment, and we're still dealing with RotoWire's 27th-ranked offensive line as well as a QB far more willing to scramble than check the ball down.

Croskey-Merritt's snap share and backfield committee limit trust vs. elite defense.

Croskey-Merritt had a nice 33-yard TD run last week, but Rachaad White pretty easily led the way in snaps (60% vs. 35%), and Austin Ekeler stayed involved as well. It's impossible to trust this backfield at the moment, dealing with RotoWire's 27th-ranked offensive line and a QB far more willing to scramble than check the ball down. Testing Fred Warner and the 49ers' fourth-ranked defense in EPA allowed per rush is risky.
