STACKED’s take

Negative signalMatchup

McCaffrey's 52 yards on 15 carries shows Denver's run defense weakness.

McCaffrey managed only 52 yards on 15 carries in Week 4 at San Francisco, but the 49ers' 35 rushing attempts for 140 yards overall pushed Denver's rushing yards allowed to roughly 143 per game; Denver's interior defensive line (D.J. Jones and Eyioma Uwazurike) has declined from 2025 form, forcing linebackers Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad to take on blockers instead of making plays, leaving the run defense vulnerable.
