I mentioned before the season that Tate was a lock for 140 targets, but as the summer wore on and bad reports about quarterback Cam Ward kept rolling in, I became cool on the idea of drafting Tate. Most of the market agreed, as his ADP plummeted throughout August. Those drafted Tate may end up with a fabulous PPR option the rest of the way. Since we're just one week removed from the bad performance against the Texans, why not throw out a trade offer to see if Tate can be acquired for a reasonable cost?

Tate's ADP collapse makes him a buy; 140-target projection still intact.

Tate's ADP plummeted throughout August due to concerns about Cam Ward's quarterback play, but the source believes Tate will be a strong fantasy option the rest of the way as a talented receiver intersecting with volume. The source mentions Tate was a lock for 140 targets and recommends throwing out a trade offer to acquire him for a reasonable cost, especially since he had a rough outing last week against Houston and may be undervalued.
