McCarthy rushed for 26 yards; dual-threat ability could help Giants' struggling run game.

McCarthy accounted for 26 rushing yards in the Giants' 34-27 loss to Saints, contributing to the team's 84 total rushing yards. His dual-threat ability was noted as potentially beneficial to the run game if he becomes the Giants' starter, though the source notes that losing Jaxson Dart at the start of the season has already hampered the rushing attack.
