Head coach John Harbaugh praised McCarthy's command of the Giants offense despite his recent arrival, noting 'There was no procedural penalties. We had no issues with the clock running down, we had no formation issues. All the checks were made really well.' Harbaugh emphasized McCarthy 'did a great job' and 'played a heck of a football game' while acknowledging the young quarterback is not a novice, having started 10 games with Minnesota after being the 10th overall pick in 2024.
