McCarthy lights out vs. Texans; looks like real deal in control of Giants offense

McCarthy was lights out against the Texans, especially in the first half, throwing fastballs on target with anticipation and layering throws over the first level of pass defense. He finished with 252 passing yards and no TD passes but looked in complete control of the offense, demonstrating he is the real deal and one of the biggest reasons the Giants won. The source notes it's hard to understand how he could have crashed and burned in Minnesota given his performance, and credits offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and quarterbacks coach Brian Callahan for creating an offense that takes advantage of his strengths.
