Windy City Gridiron on Caleb Williams

Williams posts 308 yards, 2 TDs in consecutive 300-yard game performance.

Williams completed 22 of 33 passes for 308 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions with a 116.7 passer rating against New England in Week 7, marking his first consecutive 300-yard games and first Bears QB to do so since Mitchell Trubisky in 2018. He finished with eight completions of at least 20 yards, including four to Luther Burden III, three to Rome Odunze, and one to Colston Loveland, demonstrating explosive downfield play after concerns about checkdown tendencies the prior week.
