Footballguys on Kyren Williams
From the article
Kyren Williams has been efficient when he gets the ball... Williams carried just 10 times for 50 yards and caught three of six targets for 17 yards, while Corum ran nine times for 42 yards and caught a 15-yard touchdown.
STACKED’s take
Williams' elite efficiency is undermined by low volume and committee work with Corum.
Williams has been efficient with a 4.9 yards per carry average, 393 rushing yards, four touchdowns on 80 carries, and a league-best 60.0% rushing success rate among backs with 50+ carries. However, volume has been a serious problem: he carried just 10 times for 50 yards in last week's loss to Arizona while Blake Corum ran nine times, and the Rams' inconsistent offensive drives combined with the loss of Davante Adams for 6-10 weeks will likely force a more run-heavy approach. Despite dominating snap share at 70%+ in each of the last four games, the Rams need to hand their backs the ball more than 21 times per game for week-to-week consistency, otherwise fantasy managers will continue to see frustration in what should be premier matchups.
