Video: Fantasy Football Week 7 Start/Sit: The Toughest Lineup Decisions
Kirk's a slot receiver, and guess who plays less than 20% three receiver sets? It's the 49ers. So, Kirk will have to play outside. Kirk didn't practice in the preseason. He was hurt, so Purdy has no connection with him yet.

Negative signalRole

Slot receiver forced outside in 49ers' 12-personnel base; no Purdy chemistry.

Christian Kirk faces a structural mismatch in the 49ers offense: Kirk is a slot receiver, but the 49ers play less than 20% three-receiver sets, forcing Kirk to play outside—uncharted territory for him. Additionally, Kirk did not practice in the preseason due to injury, so Brock Purdy has no connection with him yet, which may take weeks to develop.
