A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection4:13

Despite a poor-looking recent game where he couldn't catch the ball, A.J. Brown's role remains elite with a 30%+ target share and 90%+ route participation—the highest target share of any New England Patriot all season. He was getting open consistently on film and is expected to catch more passes going forward. The source projects smash weeks ahead for Brown against the Bears, who feature worst-in-league cornerback Jaylon Johnson and are down Montez Sweat on defense.

Insight page

Aaron Jones

NegativeUsage19:03

Fade Aaron Jones going forward. His current bell cow volume is unsustainable for a running back of his age, with the only historical exception being Derrick Henry. With Jordan Mason expected to return this week, the source anticipates Jones's workload will decrease significantly despite his recent production.

Insight page

Bam Knight

PositiveRole39:07

With Jeremiah Love ruled out for Week 7, Bam Knight becomes the Arizona backfield starter. The source assesses him as better than Tyler Allgeier, noting that teams won't prioritize defending the run against Arizona, giving Knight room to run; he can also catch the ball. Despite being described as 'ultimate replacement level,' the source projects him as an RB2 for the week with fantasy utility.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveInjury2:01

Braelon Allen looks awesome and is recommended as a start this week. He's week-to-week with a potential return window opening; he didn't practice Wednesday but the door is open for his return. The source advises monitoring the injury report closely but is bullish on his usage if active.

Insight page

Brandin Cooks

NegativeUsage16:56

Fade Brandon Cooks in the 49ers wide receiver room. The source describes him as 'the ghost of Brandon Cooks' and expresses concern about his target volume despite theoretical appeal in San Francisco's offense.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveMatchup14:21

Purdy is favored over both Caleb Williams and Kyler Murray in start/sit decisions. Against Atlanta, the source highlights Purdy's elite 49ers offensive line will move the ball at will against Atlanta's pass rush, which is not getting home on him. Despite receiver injuries (Evans out, Kirk's ramp-up uncertain), Kittle, CMC, and Cooks provide sufficient targets. The source states the choice over Kyler Murray is 'clearly' Purdy and 'not even close,' indicating strong conviction.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeMatchup14:21

Caleb Williams is a locked-and-loaded QB1 option on Thursday, but the source prefers Brock Purdy over him this week. Both are described as very good starts, making this a champagne problem decision rather than a fade.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveUsage37:07

Chase Brown is expected to get ramped up in the Bengals' explosive offense with Joe Burrow throwing touchdowns at a very high rate. The source has confidence in the Bengals offense looking more explosive with good matchups coming up.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

NegativeRole4:01

Christian Kirk faces a structural mismatch in the 49ers offense: Kirk is a slot receiver, but the 49ers play less than 20% three-receiver sets, forcing Kirk to play outside—uncharted territory for him. Additionally, Kirk did not practice in the preseason due to injury, so Brock Purdy has no connection with him yet, which may take weeks to develop.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

NegativeRole25:03

Dalton Schultz will be phased out in Houston's offense because the team now has three talented receivers (Marvin Harrison Jr., Jaylen Knoll, and another) who provide explosive ability. Schultz will function only as a safety valve. The source is lowering his projection from earlier in the season when he was performing well for the Texans, as the team prioritizes explosiveness in their offense.

Insight page

Demario Douglas

PositiveUsage4:01

Demario Douglas has posted back-to-back strong weeks with two touchdowns in week five and one touchdown in week six, establishing momentum heading into a favorable matchup against Miami's susceptible secondary. Romeo Doubs is on the IR, opening up more target share. The source recommends starting him and riding the hot hand.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveProjection32:07

Likely has an elite role as the clear number two pass catcher on Baltimore in a game where they are nearly 10-point underdogs, ensuring high volume; his elite production with James Winston should continue despite the QB switch to J.J. McCarthy.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeProjection32:21

McCarthy showed poor performance in limited action (11 of 21 completions, 52% completion rate, one interception) and faces Houston's aggressive pass rush; however, the source notes McCarthy may benefit from Harbaugh's system and simplified target distribution (62-63% to Likely and Neighbors), suggesting some optimism despite the matchup concern.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury25:36

Despite outstanding volume over the last two weeks, J.K. Dobbins' injury history has caught up with him. Behind a great offensive line he's averaging only 3.3 yards per carry and looks slow, indicating the cumulative toll of his injuries on his performance.

Insight page

Jamaal Williams

PositiveSleeper25:36

Williams is the top lotto ticket for the stretch run and fantasy playoffs. He practiced in full, flashed well, and Sean Payton was preparing to use him. The Colts need a running game and don't have one currently, creating a realistic scenario for Williams to take over the J.K. Dobbins role soon. The source identifies him as the answer to the toughest lineup decision.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveSleeper25:08

Jonah Coleman is a strong handcuff stash with Sean Payton as play caller. He's the best runner on the Colts and fits Payton's scheme. There's a realistic scenario where Coleman takes over the J.K. Dobbins role by week 10 or later as the team seeks to improve its running game.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveMatchup4:01

Jordan Addison should be back this week after injury absence into a favorable cornerback matchup. With Sauce Gardner hurt, the defense will likely move Ward onto Jefferson, leaving Addison with a cake matchup. The source likes Addison as a start despite the injury return.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeRole19:03

Jordan Mason is expected to return this week after missing time, but the source expresses uncertainty about his ramp-up timeline. Mason had a valuable role in Week 1 before injury, but Aaron Jones has since assumed bell cow volume, which is unsustainable for a back of Jones's age (except for historical exceptions like Derrick Henry). The source suggests Mason's reintroduction may follow a slow ramp pattern similar to Rico Dowdle's recent return, rather than immediate full usage. Fade Mason this week; start Rhamondre Stevenson instead.

Insight page

Jordan Watkins

PositiveRole16:56

Target Jordan Watkins as the preferred 49ers wide receiver for Week 7. He ran a bunch of routes last week and has live potential in a one-week play, favored over Christian Kirk (who lacks preseason reps with Purdy and must play outside his natural slot position) and Brandon Cooks (target concerns).

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveProjection18:00

Josh Jacobs ranks as RB 20 heading into Week 7 with significant upside through the stretch run. Despite Green Bay's offensive line issues, two and three tight end sets help the running game, and defenses cannot stack the box because Jaylen Watson and Golden Tate are difficult to defend when catching the ball. Jacobs will have room to run and catch screen passes, with fresh legs in Week 7 providing additional value.

Insight page

K.J. Osborn

PositiveRole37:07

Osborn is getting weapons back for the Vikings after the bye week, contributing to improved offensive outlook.

Insight page

Kalen Ballage

PositiveDepth Chart20:27

Kalen Ballage will return to a role in the Bears backfield upon his return from injury. He is a Ben Johnson guy and was ahead of Roschon Johnson on the depth chart last year, positioning him to reclaim his previous role and maintain value in the offense.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveProjection29:04

Allen has been playing awesome with a really strong role and should play this week. Brian Flores will blitz 75–80% of the time, making the hot read to Allen a consistent option. Expect roughly seven catches with a solid floor, though limited yardage. Allen has a higher floor than Woody Marks but lower ceiling.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

PositiveUsage29:28

Bourne has received eight targets in back-to-back weeks, establishing a consistent target volume trend that supports flex consideration.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection37:23

Murray is a low-end QB1 for Week 7 against Indianapolis with a favorable matchup against the reeling Colts. He provided 50-plus rushing yards in his last game and had his best game of the season heading into the bye week. He's getting weapons back including Addison and Hockenson, with Jefferson playing at a high level. The source notes Murray needed time to learn the offense after missing weeks 2–4 with a concussion; in his last two games he posted 73% and 80% completion rates. He's described as an average quarterback in a great passing offense—not a start over Purdy this week but a viable stream option.

Insight page

Malachi Fields

NegativeUsage34:49

Malachi Fields received some target ramp-up last week when the Vikings were in comeback mode, suggesting the team is trying to get him involved in the offense.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveRole23:23

Marvin Harrison Jr. is a start recommendation in PPR touchdown-heavy formats. He showed clear motivation in a limited role last week and is running well with a very strong role in Houston's elite pass environment. Mike LaFleur is using slants to get the ball in his hands quickly; one target was downfield, others short. C.J. Stroud played with Harrison in college, so chemistry is already established. Harrison wasn't ramped up on snaps yet, suggesting room for increased volume. Houston is a huge favorite this week and runs a pass-happy offense with strong pass rate over expectation, pass volume, and passing yards metrics; C.J. Stroud is playing his best football since his rookie year, making this one of the best receiving environments available. Harrison is part of a talented trio of receivers.

Insight page

Melvin Gordon

PositiveProjection12:09

Gordon has scored more fantasy points than De'Von Achane and offers consistent usage; the source notes Gordon runs and receives in the passing game with reliable 18 touches per game, making him a dependable option despite game script concerns.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveProjection7:15

Michael Mayer has been super productive since Brock Bowers returned and is projected to deliver top-15 tight end production for the rest of the season. He's had three out of his last four games with really strong numbers. Mayer is always on the field in Las Vegas's base 12-personnel package, and the source notes that if Brock Bowers essentially has wide receiver one usage, Mayer can deliver top-15 tight end production. The Raiders' offensive scheme under Klint Kubiak ensures Mayer gets consistent volume and PPR floor.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeProjection29:28

Wilson has scored only 7 PPR points in each of his last two games. The league now has film on him from last year and knows how to defend him. Playing Denver, which is strong against receivers even without Surtain, makes him a poor start. He has seen increased opportunity when Marvin Harrison Jr. is unavailable, but that conditional upside is limited by his recent production decline.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeValue40:00

Collins is the alpha receiver in Houston with a very good role, but the source advises against selling high despite emerging competition from Jaylen Noel and Marvin Harrison Jr. Collins is a top-seven NFL receiver capable of 25-point consecutive weeks or 50-point back-to-back weeks in fantasy playoffs. However, his target ceiling is a concern—he's never exceeded 120 targets in a season while top receivers get 150-160; over the last three weeks he's received only 8, 7, and 5 targets respectively. The source recommends holding unless you can get more in return than his perceived worth, citing injury risk as an ongoing concern.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveBreakout4:01

Omar Cooper looked awesome last week and is ranked as the number one waiver wire add. The source is bullish on him despite game script concerns against Miami, citing Kenyon Sadiq's injury creating opportunities and Geno Smith's improved play. However, there's uncertainty about his role when DK Metcalf returns.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeProjection36:03

Mahomes is a fantasy problem right now; he scored only 15 points against the Chargers because Kenneth Walker ran the ball heavily. With Rashee Rice out and Kelce lacking production since week one, the Chiefs have become a run-based offense that won't air it out in many games, limiting Mahomes' fantasy upside despite his talent.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveMatchup19:57

Start Rhamondre Stevenson in Week 7 despite concerns about his usage last week (11 carries). Stevenson is a good runner, and the matchup improves significantly because Bears middle linebacker T.J. Edwards is out, which hurts Chicago's run defense. The source prefers Stevenson over Jordan Mason this week, suggesting Mason's usage may not ramp up immediately upon return.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

NegativeMatchup23:23

Roman Wilson will see Christian Gonzalez in coverage, which is a negative matchup. Gonzalez moves around a lot, making him a difficult assignment. Wilson is not recommended over Marvin Harrison Jr. in PPR touchdown-heavy start/sit decisions.

Insight page

Roschon Johnson

NegativeRole2:01

Roschon Johnson's value is contingent on injury to Swift or Herbert; he's the clear number three back in an offense that utilizes two backs weekly. While he's taking on a strong role this week with Khalil Herbert and Guy injured and Ben Johnson's scheme emphasizing balance against New England's weak run defense, his film metrics are poor: broken tackle rate in 13th percentile, yards after contact in first percentile (worst). He accumulated production only in garbage time (five catches vs. Green Bay in blowout, 13 carries vs. Atlanta when winning 31-7). When Ballage returns, he will likely reclaim his role because he is a Ben Johnson guy and was ahead of Roschon on the depth chart last year. Roschon has shown two-way ability but is a career special teamer with average speed who won't succeed as an outside runner in the NFL despite college success.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

PositiveSleeper25:58

Perine was very good last week and offers strong contingent upside. If Chase Brown misses time, Perine would produce around 15 points per game because he will catch a high volume of passes in Houston's pass-heavy offense.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveMatchup16:00

Start Saquon Barkley over Omar Cooper Jr. in Week 7 against Dallas; the Cowboys defense gave up 165 rushing yards to Bucky Irving two weeks ago. Barkley is an excellent receiver who will see increased passing-game usage as the Eagles offense evolves. Even in a limited Damien Harris-type role (limited carries, pass-catching work), he projects for 14–16 points, with upside from Dallas's poor tackling and the Eagles' recent tendency to target running backs more when the offense struggled.

Insight page

T.J. Hockenson

PositiveRole37:07

Hockenson is returning as a weapon for the Vikings after the bye week, contributing to improved offensive outlook for Kyler Murray.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveMatchup9:04

Kraft faces the Lions, who have allowed nine touchdown catches to opposing tight ends and nearly 600 receiving yards this season. In five games, the Lions have allowed seven tight ends to score at least 13 PPR points. The source ranks Kraft as a top-six tight end play for the week. Kraft is the number three target on his team and took a scary knock last week but returned to play.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

NegativeRole38:31

Allgeier is characterized as a poor running back who needs everything around him to succeed. He averaged 3.6 yards per carry on 143 carries in Atlanta (which had a good offensive line) and has declined to 3.0 yards per carry behind Arizona's worse line. The source concludes 'he's just not good,' positioning him unfavorably compared to Bam Knight in the Arizona backfield.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeRole9:04

Higbee ceded significant work to Colby Parkinson last week, ending a three-week stretch of strong production. However, a new opportunity window has opened due to Davante Adams's injury, which could restore Higbee's role. The source ranks Tucker Kraft over Higbee in a direct start/sit comparison.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

NegativeInjury7:15

Hill faces a six-game suspension after two charges were upheld, allowing the league to act. He has not yet signed with a team; the earliest he can sign is week 8, and if he does, the six-game suspension would not clear until week 14. The source advises against holding Hill through bye weeks given the timeline uncertainty and late-season return window.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveRole29:14

With Juwan Johnson on IR, Marks has the full backfield load this week, giving him higher upside than Keenan Allen despite a similar floor. He will get all the work. Last week he suffered a touchdown regression when Johnson scored instead, which was disappointing for fantasy managers using him as a flex play.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveRole12:09

Charbonnet is walking into a desperate Seattle situation where the team needs him. Emmanuel Wilson is fumbling and below average; Dee Jay Dallas is inconsistent and doesn't hang on to the ball. The source projects Charbonnet will score touchdowns and play with leads given Seattle's weak passing game (Sam Darnold throwing interceptions, only JSN as a reliable target). The source selects Charbonnet over Ali Gordon and Aaron Jones for rest-of-season production.

0:03Week seven fantasy football start sit decisions. Which players should you be using? Which players should you be benching? And which players could be
0:11sneaky starts? Theo Gremminger joined every week by Jim Coventry right here at RotoWire. Jim, we were just talking about it. It's week seven. I mean, we
0:18are we are like deep into it. Week eight feels like you're in the stretch run.
0:22Week seven is like smack dab in the middle.
0:25Um the season is flying by and it's that part of the season where you go from the end end of Monday night football to like
0:31setting your lineups on Thursday. It feels like it was like two hours ago.
0:35So, how are you doing today, Jim? You get ready to get after it a little bit?
0:38>> Yeah, this is good always great and it never gets old. As much as Theo and I are talking about this point in the
0:43season, this is always exciting because every week new data, new decisions, and always a chance to dominate in the new week.
0:50>> Yeah, and it it's every single every single week seems to matter more as you get closer and closer to the fantasy
0:57football playoffs. I dropped a trade show. I know Jim, you're doing a lot of like rest of season type content. We
1:03can't get things wrong. We want to try to get things right. We want to try to spot that sneaky start and it feels like
1:08the you know, you start off slow, you can recover, but if you drop three games in the end of October, beginning of
1:14November, you're crushed and that just kills your season. So, we're going to get after it. If you want access to our
1:19full flex rankings for the week, go check out rotowire.com. Jim and I are going to update those right after this show. Uh we also give you our
1:26quarterback rankings um and then make sure you're checking out Jim's start sit show every single Sunday morning over at RotoWire live and all the great content
1:35that Jim's putting out as well as the stuff I'm putting out. We're grinding.
1:38We're grinding over here.
1:38>> Yes, we are.
1:39>> Yes, we are. Let's get it started. We love we love the chat. We're getting the questions in the chat. We're going to
1:43cover a couple of players that Jim likes more uh than consensus this week and some guys he's worried about, but let's
1:49take a quick one.
1:50This is from um Quadropheniac.
1:55I think I'm saying that right.
1:56>> I think that sounds good.
1:57>> That was pretty good. Pretty good.
1:58>> You know what? Yeah.
1:59>> For sure. Thanks for the weekly show.
2:01You're lifesavers. I need two starting running backs. Roschon Johnson, who's taking on a really strong role with Khalil Herbert and Guy injured. Braelon
2:09Allen, who looks awesome. Or or Tyron Tracy, who had two touchdowns last week.
2:14So, let's take this running back question. I'm going to go with Roschon Johnson and Braelon Allen here. I realize that like I'm using Tyron Tracy
2:23in some spots, but it feels like this is a like a changing backfield. What we do have with Tracy, I would argue that the
2:31game flow could dictate a few more pass-catching opportunities with them being nearly 10-point dogs. But with Allen and Johnson, I'm seeing it and I
2:39feel like really pretty strongly about how these And also, New York's a favorite and Chicago extremely high total. Where are you at on the running
2:47back question?
2:48>> I do agree with you. The Bears are wanting to run the ball. I don't know how much they want to deal with
2:53Christian Gonzalez, whatever side he ends up on. They'll throw some, and Ben Johnson always wants balance, but the New England is not a good run defense
3:01this year. Last year, they were good inside, they were weak outside. This year, you can run on them. And if Ben
3:06Johnson sees that on a short week, you know he's going to take advantage and Roschon, there's going to be a second
3:11back here. Second back getting volume.
3:13Braelon Allen, I agree. Just be careful, get keep an eye on the injury report because this is the first week Aaron
3:20Glenn hasn't said that Braelon Allen's week-to-week. He didn't practice Wednesday, but the door seems to be open, so keep an eye on that. And you're
3:28right about the Tyron Tracy thing. I right now, you have to be careful because it could just as easily be Scat
3:34Abu gets the start because he's not punished and he'll get a chance to see if he could do it. And he might play
3:40with a chip on his shoulder, or it might just be Tracy again and we don't know that. So, I'm with you though, Theo.
3:47>> Yeah, just don't complain about your playing time after the game like Najee Harris did. You might get cut like 12
3:52hours later. When keep when when keeping it real goes wrong uh type moment. Um wide receiver question, same same uh same viewer. We're again, we're If
4:01you're listening to the podcast, we do this live on YouTube on Thursday mornings. We're doing it 10:45 Eastern, sometimes it's 10. Look for it over on
4:09RotoWire YouTube. If you want to get your questions answered live, join the YouTube show. You've got two wide receivers that you need to start here.
4:18Demario Douglas, who's had back-to-back really strong weeks. Followed up a two-touchdown game uh in week five with a touchdown in week six. And now you've
4:25got Romeo Doubs on the IR. Jordan Addison, who should be back this week.
4:30Omar Cooper, who looked awesome last week, Jim. Looked like Indiana. Looked like Indiana Omar Cooper. Or Christian Kirk. We're chasing waterfalls with
4:38which is the wide receiver to use in San Francisco. I'm going to go with Demario Douglas. And I'm going to go with Omar
4:43Cooper here. I'm going to ride the hot hand and hope that we get it again against a Miami Dolphins secondary that
4:48we know is susceptible to giving up some big games. Where are you going with these two wide receivers?
4:53>> Yeah, it's always going to be difficult because A.J. Brown just couldn't catch the ball last week. But he was getting
4:58open. So he's going to be the focal point of the passing game. They're going to get him going. I always worry in a
5:03game I think both teams can run the ball a little bit. I'm just want to It's hard to sit Douglas for two hot games.
5:08Um I'm going to say this about Jordan Addison.
5:10Do is the corner match up great? No, but Sauce Gardner's hurt. So they're going to be if they're going to move anybody
5:15around, it's going to be Ward on Jefferson, which means man, Addison's going to have a cake match up coming off an injury. And that offense is starting
5:23to look good in Minnesota. I do like Jordan Addison. Thing I worry about Omar Cooper's game script here. They're playing Miami. They're not playing from
5:30behind. They're not going to have to throw the ball all day. So I'm a little bit nervous there. I might worry that
5:35they're not going to throw cuz Garrett Wilson's their number one and it's not close. So I'm going to say I'm going to
5:39go in with Jordan Addison as my number two. And um I'll probably agree with you on Demario Douglas just because he's
5:44riding a heater right now.
5:49>> Yeah, I think with Garrett Wilson, I think people might be a little nervous about last week. It looked like uh New England was not going to like let
5:55Garrett Wilson in a game without Breece Hall beat them at all. They're just kind of selling out to take away Garrett
6:00Wilson. But Jim, we've seen that in other times of the season where Adam and I Mitchell had the production early in
6:04the year. So I I'm bullish on Cooper. Uh I had him as the number one ranked waiver wire add this past week. So I'm
6:10into it. Here's an interesting one for you.
6:13>> quick, Theo.
6:13>> And it's >> What are you Theo, real quick.
6:16What are they doing when Mitchell comes back? They Mitchell beat uh Cooper easily. Like he he they traded for him.
6:23He whipped him in the preseason. And he looked good early. And he said, "What's going to happen?" Cuz he's close to
6:28coming back. It was a broken finger.
6:29They didn't put him on IR. What are they doing with Mitchell? Cuz I still think he's the number two.
6:36>> It's an interesting one. I think Mitchell might be the number two, but I think that sometimes when you get a a
6:40situation where it's a first round pick, that player is going to get more and more opportunities from the franchise.
6:45And the one thing about like Kenyon Sadiq being banged up um and not playing like we think he can, creates opportunities for Cooper with the yak.
6:53Mitchell was out targeting Garrett Wilson earlier in the year. Like we were very um optimistic about Mitchell.
6:58Mitchell's also had a couple of setbacks though here, Jim, where they've had to do like another cleanup procedure. So it hasn't been a clean run out for
7:04Mitchell. So I think Cooper um Geno looks good throwing the ball right now.
7:08So it's not like a perfect Geno, but Geno looks good. So um we're right there. This is an interesting question.
7:13This is from Dale Gribble in the chat.
7:15Um should I drop Ty Ty Tyreek Hill wrote Tyrell, but we're we're going to Tyreek for Michael Mayer. Um Ty Tyler Warren is
7:24his other tight end. I think it's a more of a question of are peop- people are starting to believe and like I do into the Michael Mayer
7:31experience. So Michael Mayer has been super productive since Brock Bowers returned. And if we're calling Brock Bowers is Brock Bowers essentially has
7:39wide receiver one usage, why can't Michael Mayer give us top 15 tight end production for the rest of the season?
7:45He's had three out of his last four games put up really strong numbers, and it's an offense we trust with Klint
7:51Kubiak, and it's a team that's in 12 personnel a ton. Where you at on Michael Mayer?
7:56>> Yeah, the positional usage of the tight end, they are Mayer's always on the field. It's like they they're that's their base. They're not even worried
8:04they know receiver runs that good. So, you almost got to make this move because Mayer's going to get you PPR value
8:09pretty much every week. Tyreek Hill, he was of those charges he had two of them ended up going through, which means the
8:16league now can act on that. They're waiting for him to sign somewhere.
8:21Look, he's probably getting six games, and he hasn't signed yet. So, the earliest he signs is next week, which is week eight, and if you take six weeks on
8:28that, you're like week 14 till he can play. I don't think you can keep Tyreek Hill through the bye weeks.
8:37>> I agree with you. It feels like wishful thinking, and I added him, and I actually cut him in a couple of spots
8:42this week because the bye weeks kill you, and you sort of have this optimism.
8:47I think the Tyreek Hill the window of opportunity was there with the Rashee Rice injury that if anything was going to happen quickly, it would have
8:53happened. That didn't happen, and then there was sort of this now new window with like Terry McLaurin, Davante Adams.
8:59There's been no connection between him and those teams. Here's an interesting tight end question.
9:04Tucker Kraft or Tyler Tyler Higbee?
9:06Higbee now has this Last week, uh conceded a lot of work to Colby Parkinson. He sort of the three week stretch run ended for Higbee, but now
9:14we've got this new window for Higbee because of the injury to Davante Adams, but that being said, it's Tucker Kraft.
9:21You start your touchdowns against the Lions. Lions have allowed nine touchdown catches to opposing tight ends, nearly 600 receiving yards. It's Tucker Kraft.
9:30Where do you have Kraft this week? I think probably top six tight end sounds about right to me, Jim.
9:36>> Look, in this matchup, the Lions played five games. Seven tight ends, more than one a game, have at least 13 PPR points.
9:43And that's how bad they are. A second tight ends are ripping them and first.
9:48Tucker Kraft has to be at the top. He's not going to be like the one and two where the like Bowers is at, but he's
9:54going to be like right beneath it this week cuz that matchup is so so easy.
10:00>> Here's one for you.
10:03Flex spot, half point PPR, Jeremy Bernard, A.J. Brown, or Blake Corum?
10:10You're going I'm going A.J. Brown despite the awesome awesome performance by Jeremy Bernard. A.J. Brown, like people are trying to like oh gotcha
10:18Theo. I did a quote on on X. I talked about this the other day where I said like there's going to be smash weeks for
10:24A.J. Brown.
10:25And and and a couple people were like calling me out on this one. I'm like, the guy looked bad, but this role is
10:31truly elite. Plus a 30% plus target share and 90% plus routes run. He had the highest target share of any New
10:39England Patriot all season, Jim.
10:41Um I I feel good about A.J. Brown heading into Thursday night. How about yourself?
10:45>> You've got to love A.J. Brown. Jaylon Johnson is like literally playing guys the worst cornerback in the league. The Bears do not They They try to blitz and
10:54sometimes it works, but look, they they're on Da'Ron Payne and they are down Montez Sweat again. And look, A.J.
11:00Brown, I watched the film on these games. A.J. Brown was getting open all game long. So, it's not a guy who's
11:07washed. He's a guy who was rusty. And I know he has some drop issues. That game was excessive. It was his first game
11:12back, but he's getting open. They will keep going to him. He will catch more of the footballs. He is an elite play this
11:19week.
11:22>> Going to continue answering some questions here. Somebody said in the chat my mic is a little little quiet.
11:28I'm trying to fix that one. This is the power of of streaming these things live.
11:32Uh here's one, Ali Gordon, Zach Charbonnet, or Aaron Jones rest of season.
11:40I'm going to go Ali Gordon here, uh Jim.
11:43I I'm optimistic about Ali Gordon. I'm way higher on Gordon than I think anybody in fantasy is right now. Uh he's
11:49been really good in three game sample size, and I think that there's a chance that Miami's offense improves. Your thoughts on this one?
11:56>> Yeah, I told people that when Achane was gone, I said, "No defense will focus on Ali Gordon. Ali Gordon will have room to
12:03run cuz nobody cares if he runs. Nobody gives a darn because teams are going to whip Miami every week." So, that said,
12:09Gordon has scored more fantasy points than Achane did. But, I'm going to tell you, Zach Charbonnet is walking into a desperate Seattle situation. They need
12:18him. Emmanuel Wilson fumbling the ball, and he is below average. And Dee Jay Dallas, they have not been happy. He doesn't hang on to the ball. He's
12:27inconsistent. They need Zach Charbonnet.
12:29And this team with their defense, and they can't trust Sam Darnold. They have JSN, and that's it. Darnold's throwing interceptions all over the place. I'm
12:36going to go Zach Charbonnet because they need him, and he is going to score touchdowns. And I tell you, they're going to be playing with leads. So, I
12:44know Gordon runs and they're down 20. I get it. I'm going to go Charbonnet. I love the Gordon call, though.
12:50>> Yeah, I mean, I get it with Charbonnet.
12:51I I think that there's going to be a clean run out for Charbonnet. My question to you be, how much of a ramp
12:57up period do we anticipate? I'm doing it I I know we're both recording with Dr.
13:00Deepak Chona this week, and that's one of the players that I want to talk to him about because I know the coaching staff loves
13:06Charbonnet, but it's a different dynamic when we eventually get Dee Jay Dallas back, and I understand Price has left like a lot to be desired, and it's been
13:15like a poor run out, but it's still a first round running back. Do we run into a split down the stretch, whereas
13:22Gordon, there's a situation where we're at like 18 touches a game every single week. And Jim, they're using him in the
13:27passing game, too. So, I'm I think they're both they're both like looking good. Your thoughts?
13:33>> Yeah, Theo, I the first-round draft pick for about 28 teams in the league, I would say you're spot-on. For a team
13:39that just won the Super Bowl and a team that's expecting to win Super Bowl, they could give a darn less about your draft
13:44capital. You fumbled twice in three games. And if Zach Charbonnet hangs onto the ball, they do not This is a team
13:50that does not care about your draft capital. They have to win the Super Bowl or their season is a complete bust.
13:55>> Did I say that right?
13:56>> Yeah, you're right about that one. Let's take a couple of these. We're going to try to go a little quicker.
14:01Um really, really appreciate all the live questions here.
14:04Um if you're not already subscribed to the YouTube channel, hit that subscribe button. Uh hit the like button. And if you are listening on the podcast, do us
14:11a favor. Uh do a review on Apple. Give us a five-star rating or Spotify, wherever you get your podcasts. Uh it
14:18doesn't cost you anything. Helps us out a lot.
14:21Gives us a chance to get Jim Coventry on the show. You wouldn't believe how much I have to Venmo this guy every single
14:26week to come [laughter] in and stream with me and answer your questions. Um here we go. This is a good one here.
14:31Caleb Williams or Brock Purdy? Um this is what we call a champagne problem here. Jim, Caleb Williams or Brock Purdy this week? Which way are you going? You
14:41got Caleb on a Thursday. You got Brock Purdy against the Atlanta Falcons. Both guys are locked and loaded QB1s, but you
14:48know, Jeff Erickson had a good a good comment to me cuz we had somebody ask something similar when I was with him
14:55and and Nick on Sirius this week. Um but sometimes he's like, "These are the really painful ones." Jeff had like a
15:01Jordan Love-Drake May uh question and Nick and I were just like busting his chops. We're like, "Throw a dart. Pick one. They're both really good." Um I'm
15:08going to go with Brock Purdy on the road in Atlanta over Caleb Williams here, but they're both very good starts. Where are
15:15you at?
15:16>> Yeah, obviously either one is fine.
15:19Purdy's is call. I don't care if the receivers are hurt. Now, I know last week they did pay against Washington.
15:24They looked terrible, but they know Evans isn't playing now. It's going to be a lot of Kittle through the air. It's
15:29going to be CMC through the air. I think Brandon Cooks is a little bit involved this week. Uh I don't know if Christian
15:33Kirk's going to be ramped up enough to play, but I think there's enough there.
15:36And Atlanta, remember that everybody talked about their pass rush? Well, guess what? They're not getting home on Purdy. That that 49ers offensive line,
15:43elite level right now. So, yeah, they're going to be able to move the ball at will. Atlanta is not stopping them. I
15:49know Evans isn't there.
15:51Purdy's my call.
15:52>> Here's one. This is from OG Pumpkin Fishing. Not sure what that means. Um uh trust Saquon Barkley if he goes or
16:00Omar Cooper Jr. Yeah, if Saquon goes, they're going to lean into him against this Dallas Cowboys defense that gave up a buck 65 to Bucky Irving like 2 weeks
16:08ago. Uh so, I get it. Uh this Philadelphia Eagles offense is changing and evolving and they're not last year's Eagles, but you're still going Saquon
16:16Barkley cuz Jim like if he just has the Damien Harris role, then he's going to get you 15 points this week. Even even
16:24though he hasn't been good this year, that 14-16 point range I think is right there for Saquon.
16:29>> Yeah, I think what's really important to understand is in the last couple weeks when this offense really got into trouble, they started throwing the ball
16:36to the running backs more and that's what they weren't doing. Saquon Barkley's an excellent receiver. That's going to get tacked onto his game and
16:42they're playing Dallas and guess who can't tackle? Dallas. So, you play Saquon.
16:47>> Okay, so if you're if you're uh chasing waterfalls, so to speak, and have to pick a San Francisco 49er uh wide
16:53receiver, who would be your choice here?
16:56You got Jordan Watkins who ran a bunch of routes last week. You've got Brandon Cooks, the ghost of Brandon Cooks, and
17:02then you've got Christian Kirk. Um it's it for me, I kind of like the Kirk one.
17:07I wrote him up in the waiver wire article. I'd like to avoid this wide receiver room. Like you said, I think
17:11it's going to be a ton of CMC, a ton of Kittle, and then I think Kaelyn Black a little extra work this week if he's if
17:17he's fully ready to rock. Um your thoughts on this one, who's your wide receiver of choice in San Francisco?
17:24>> I think for one week, I'd take a whirl on Jordan Watkins. Here's my problem with Kirk. Kirk's a slot receiver, and
17:31guess who plays less than 20% three receiver sets? It's the 49ers. So, Kirk will have to play outside. It's a little
17:37uncharted territory for him. I think they're And look, Kirk didn't practice in the preseason. He was hurt, so Purdy has no connection with him yet. So, I
17:44think that might take a couple weeks for them to understand, oh, this is what you can do, this is where you like to get
17:49open. I think it's going to take him a little time. And Brandon Cooks is nice in theory, but again, how many targets
17:54are you really getting him? So, I think in a one-week thing, I think Jordan Watkins has live potential.
18:00>> Okay, we have another question here uh in the chat, which I think is interesting. Expectations for Josh Jacobs, um and and I'm
18:10I'm I know we've got offensive line uh issues in Green Bay, but if we can like kind of look at like some of the the the
18:17touches going to guys like Keaontay Ingram, Marshawn Lloyd over the last couple weeks, and just with how good this offense has been, I'm using uh Josh
18:26Jacobs, and I think I'll have him RB 20 right out the gate, and I think there's a chance that he's way more valuable
18:31than that through the stretch run. Your thoughts on Jacobs this week?
18:36>> Yeah, so we are seeing more two and three tight end sets in Green Bay because of our offensive line, and that
18:41helps the running game. But defenses right now, they can't stack the box against Green Bay because Watson and Golden, when he catches the ball, are
18:48really tough to deal with, and you don't want to give up big plays. So, unlike last year, Jacobs will have some room to
18:53run, and he'll catch screen passes. So, I do think Josh Jacobs is going to be very helpful to the team, and you know
19:00what? Fresh legs, Theo. Can't understate that in week seven.
19:03>> Dino Fontaine in the chat wants to know about Jordan Mason, another player that I'm going to be asking Dr. Deepak Chona
19:09about. Mason should be back this week.
19:12We saw him in a valuable role in week one, missed a bunch of time, and it's been Aaron Jones just like caping up and
19:19playing like a bell cow volume, which we know is unsustainable for a back his age that's not named Derrick Henry.
19:26Your thoughts on Jordan Mason? Is it going to be like a slow ramp up for Mason where we can continue using Aaron
19:32Jones maybe for another week or two with confidence or is this going to be I mean maybe similar to what we saw last week
19:38with Rico Dowdle getting reintroduced to the offense.
19:42Or could this be more right out the the gate for Mason? Minnesota coming off of their bye week, so a chance for them to
19:48self scout in the building and figure out what's right. We know that Kevin O'Connell's got a nice game game plan most weeks.
19:57>> Yeah, I was a little nervous about with Rhamondre usage last week. Kinda get 11 carries. I would thank you. We all
20:03wanted that. But at the end of the day, Stevenson's been a pretty good runner for them and I think it gets the Bears
20:08middle linebacker T.J. Edwards is out.
20:10That hurt That really hurts the Bears, too. I'm going to go with Rhamondre here. Not quite sure if Mason like usage
20:15is going to ramp up before he really gets back into it and if he's, you know, fully back. So, I think it's one that we
20:22have to be you have Stevenson. Play Stevenson and give Mason a week.
20:27>> Yeah, again for the Friday listeners, we try not to do too many of these Thursday players, but I have a great question. A
20:34lot of these We get a lot of these Thursday questions, so we got to take some, but I think this is an interesting
20:38one.
20:39>> Oh my gosh.
20:39>> Basically what's Roschon Johnson's value?
20:43This is from Beer Battered Gummy Shark in the YouTube chat. Says, is there a chance that Roschon Johnson could take Kalen Ballage's spot permanently on the
20:51pecking order? I'd say when Ballage comes back, like he's a Ben Johnson guy.
20:56He was ahead of of Roschon last year.
20:58Roschon was banged up at times last year, but Ballage I think returns to a role, but I think Roschon has showed his two-way
21:05ability where it's not only Khalil Herbert who could miss time. De'Andre Swift, if he misses some time, I think Roschon would also would also have a
21:13really valuable role. So, I would try to roster Roschon. Production is production. Uh this is a veteran who's been with Ben Johnson now for 2 years
21:20and been with the organization for several more. Your thoughts on Roschon Johnson's value moving forward as a contingent upside guy.
21:28>> His value is zero. When Roschon Johnson came in the league, I told you he's a career special teamer. Nothing has
21:35changed. They played They played Green Bay. It was a blowout. He got five catches when the game when subs were on
21:41the field. All of his production came in garbage time. Nobody was on the field.
21:45And then they play Atlanta. And guess what? They were winning what? 31-7. So, he gets 13 carries. Great. That's not happening. Khalil Herbert is a very good
21:55power running back. He's an excellent complement to De'Andre Swift. And let me add one more thing, Theo.
22:01This is the same Roschon Johnson. His broken tackle rate, 13th percentile. His yards after contact, it's in the first percentile, the worst. He is still
22:10horrible. He's not an NFL player. Please stop the Roschon Johnson talk, other than the fact that when Herbert is out, volume's king in fantasy football, and
22:18he'll get some touches.
22:19>> Jim, what did Roschon Johnson do to you?
22:21I know you're in the Chicago area. Did this guy like like uh like cut you off in traffic or something? I know
22:26>> No. No, here's what it is. It's to the fantasy football people. They don't want this guy to go away. They They can't get
22:32their mind around the fact he was never going to make it in the NFL. When I watched the film on him in college,
22:36Theo, this is a big dude who has average speed, and he won in college going to the outside. Well, guess what was never
22:42going to work in the NFL? Him getting speed to get to the corner. He was never an interior runner, and now he's going
22:48to be an outside guy who's slow. Never was going to work. And that's And my thing is against the fantasy people.
22:54They won't quit on these guys, and it's like, "Oh my gosh, he got five catches.
22:57Oh my gosh, he got a touchdown." Dude, he's terrible. He He's only on the team because he's a special teamer.
23:04>> Well, I will say this. The value is there for Roshan contingent upside wise because he's the clear number three back
23:11in an offense that utilizes two backs each and every week.
23:14>> Yes.
23:14>> And I'll stand by it. So, like it depends on it's hard to hold these guys through by weeks. But when we get down
23:20to it, if Swift misses time, Roshan has value. And if Manhond guy misses time, we've we've already seen it. So, you can
23:27be like running backs the position where it's touches. I mean right and volume is king. Last week volume is king. So,
23:33here's a good one for you. Let's go PPR touchdown heavy. Needs one. Roman Wilson, Casey Conception, Marvin Harrison Jr. who actually looked pretty
23:43decent last week.
23:45I'm not like shocked by it, but there was clearly a motivation from Harrison Jr. in like a limited role last week.
23:50And Houston's a huge favorite this week.
23:52And then a guy I really like, Jacoby Lane, who had four catches for 40 something yards last week, played like 50 something percent of the snaps, but
24:01we saw how valuable Lane could be early in the season. You going Wilson on a Thursday, Casey Conception, Marvin Harrison Jr. or Jacoby Lane. We're also
24:11chasing a touchdown here.
24:14>> Oh, Wilson is going to see some Christian Gonzales because Burton moves around a lot. Don't like that.
24:18Conception is a floor play only.
24:20Harrison Jr. He is doing exactly what I thought Mike LaFleur should have done in the preseason. Slants, slants, get the ball in his hands. And that's what they
24:28did. One was downfield, but the other one's in the And remember, Stroud played in college with him. So, the the chemistry, it's
24:35already there. Harrison wasn't ramped up on snaps. Play Harrison here. Jacoby Lane, Cincinnati's corners are better than you think. They're actually playing
24:43pretty well and I don't think Lamar is going to go. So, it's Harrison for me.
24:47>> Yeah, I think it's Marvin Harrison Jr.
24:49and I'm sort of ready to get hurt again, but I didn't I didn't cover him on the trade show, but I think like a lot of
24:54people are going to look and and say, "Oh, you know, the guy didn't really put up big numbers his first game back, but he's running
25:01well. He's got this very strong role and pass rate over expectation, pass volume, passing yards, like any sort of pass metric you want to look at for Houston,
25:13they're really pass-happy offense. They don't run the ball particularly well, and they have very talented trio of wide receivers. Jaylen Knoll looks really
25:21good in the slot, Jim. And now you have this like trio of wide receivers and know, we know Schultz, who hasn't been
25:27putting up numbers, is capable of giving you a solid week any any like any given week. So, there's weapons there for C.J.
25:35Stroud, and I'll say this is by far the best we've seen C.J. Stroud play since his rookie year.
25:41>> Yeah, no, there's no question about it.
25:43And I like you point out the slot, yeah, Jaylen Knoll, but but Schultz will get phased out here because Schultz is kind
25:49of catching fall guy unless there's nobody in front of him. And they don't they want explosiveness in their offense. And really all three of those
25:55receivers now potentially give them explosive ability in different ways, where Schultz will just be like a safety valve. So, I kind of lower Schultz from
26:03where he was cuz he was doing great for them, but I don't think they need him like that right now.
26:08>> Here's a fun one for you. This is we're sort of looking at handcuff running backs here.
26:13Who's the better stash? Dillon Sampson, Samaje Perine, and he has he has Chase Brown, or Jonah Coleman. This is a really interesting one, and I could sort
26:24of make an argument for all three here.
26:26>> Yes.
26:27>> Um, I'll say they're all good stashes.
26:29And this time of the year you want to stash these guys. I'll say that Jonah Coleman, the fact that Sean Payton is is
26:36the play caller, and I mean, J.K.
26:38Dobbins last 2 weeks, the volumes have been outstanding, but I talked about Jonah Coleman and R.J. Harvey as targets on the trade show, where R.J. Harvey's
26:46getting a ton of targets, but I think the best runner on the team is Jonah to and we know that's a Sean Payton guy.
26:52You could see a scenario where week 10 on or so, Jamaal Williams like just takes over the Dobbins role.
26:58Uh Samson, because Judkins is injured and it's a a team that we know will target the running back. He's interesting. And then Samaje Perine was
27:05really good last week. I know it coincided with the Chase Brown fumble, but but in terms of contingent upside, if Chase Brown were to miss time, Samaje
27:13Perine would give you like 15 points a game, because he's going to catch a lot of passes in that offense.
27:18Who If you had to pick one, who's your lotto ticket that you think could make a huge impact for fantasy managers? Not
27:24even a huge, but a decent enough impact for fantasy managers in the stretch run and into the fantasy playoffs.
27:30>> Yeah, and I realize even last year Perine is getting the 40% of snaps with Chase Brown. I get that, and I know he's
27:35part of their offense, but it's got to be Jamaal Williams. J.K. Dobbins, I love him, but the injuries have taken a toll.
27:41Behind a great offensive line, he's 3.3 yards per carry. He looks slow. Those injuries caught up to him. Jamaal Williams flashes looked really good. He
27:49practiced in full yesterday. So, and we It was a Sean Payton was getting ready to go to him. It's not going to be long.
27:55They need a running game, and they don't have one right now. Jamaal Williams is my answer.
28:01>> Got a got a comment in the chat. Let me know if you have any mic issues here. I think we fixed it, but uh it sounds
28:06good. It I haven't seen any too many complaints, but we'll see.
28:08>> Somebody else said you said fine. They sounded fine after that one came up, so I don't know. And you sounded fine fine
28:14on my end, so I don't know.
28:16>> All right, well, this is the the power of the power of live of live of live shows, guys. We'll try to get this all
28:21sorted out. Um here's here's Let's take a Let me find a a good one we haven't got Okay, here's one.
28:28This is from Adventures from the Q.
28:30Uh this is full point PPR. Need a flex.
28:33I think, you know, we'll talk about that for a second. Do you need to put the F in front of PPR? Jim, I think PPR is
28:38PPR, but he wants it full point, not half point. I think I haven't seen a lot of full point PPR >> last week, then they mean F for a
28:44different reason, cuz they got burned by it, but that's about the only thing I can think of.
28:47>> PPR. We hate these We hate these PPR merchants. Um Michael Wilson, Ameca Ebuka, who whatever happened there, uh got the Puka
28:55Nacua-like target share and target total, but not the Puka Nacua-like receiving yard total last week, to say the least. Keenan Allen, who's been
29:04playing awesome, and the role is really strong. And or Woody Marks. And Woody Marks last week, we concede the touchdown to Juwan Johnson. Uh that kind
29:13of stunk if you were using Woody Marks.
29:15This week, the Texans are 10-point favorites in some uh books against the Giants, 9 and 1/2 in others.
29:21Uh Texans sort of alive back back into it. Looks like they'll go to 3 and 4 this week. Michael Wilson, it's been
29:28funny because Marvin Harrison Jr.
29:30doesn't go. Everybody's like, "Oh, Michael Wilson, Michael Wilson." And then we've seen Kendrick Bourne with eight targets in back-to-back weeks.
29:38They're They're going with different formations, and Wilson's not seeing this same kind of usage. It's been Elijah Higgins. Uh they're using these tight
29:46ends. You got Kendrick Bourne. Um you saw Bam Bam Knight last week. Where you at on this one? Pick one.
29:52>> Ebuka is probably not playing. He has concussion symptoms that came up after Sunday's game, which means getting cleared, good luck with that. So, I I
29:59doubt he's playing. Um Michael Wilson slow, and now the league has film on him from last year. They know it. He has
30:05seven PPR points in each of his last two games, and it's really not going on right now for Michael Wilson. And
30:10they're playing Denver, even without Surtain, they're really good against receivers. So, don't like him. Keenan Allen should play because you know Brian
30:17Flores going to blitz 75 to 80% of the time. Literally, that's what he's going to do. The hot read's going to be Keenan
30:22Allen. Allen's going to maybe not get a ton of yards, but Allen's going to catch you probably seven passes here. Woody
30:27Marks is close. And Theo, last week on the XM show, I was pushing Juwan Johnson as an emergency flex. I said he's better
30:34than both Montgomery and Marks. The team doesn't seem to be willing to that, but he looked the part as he's on IR. So,
30:40Marks has the full load this week. So, Marks is probably higher upside than Keenan Allen. Allen has the higher floor. So, maybe that's
30:49it. I'm going to go with Marks cuz the floor is probably close between them.
30:52He's going to get all the work.
30:53>> I might go Keenan Allen, but I think you're you're probably correct. And I'll say, you know, you've I've heard I've
30:58heard you talk Jaylen Jordan multiple times.
31:01Uh Jim Jim goes deep here, but yeah, it's uh I think I'm going to go Keenan Allen here, but if you want to listen to
31:05Jim on this one, it's very close. Agreed on that one.
31:08>> Uh this is from uh Lua Lua P. Marks.
31:12Okay, I get these the the YouTube names, you [laughter] know, we we like we like like uh I see like um you know, very
31:19easy to to figure out names are great.
31:21So, if I screw up your name, uh sorry about that. Love the content. Have to decide between Jeremy Bernard, Jaylen Coker, Rashee Rice assuming that he
31:29plays. Have to roster I've rostered two of them. I assume that he means uh has to start two of them. It's Bernard and
31:35Coker. That's it, Jim. It's Bernard and Coker.
31:38>> Done.
31:38>> Done.
31:39>> Rashee Rice is in trouble. He was even before cuz I pointed this out in the off season. The league figured out the tape
31:45on Rashee Rice. If you put a man up on him, single man coverage is on him, his whole game is free release off the line,
31:51catch it quick, get in the space. He he's probably in a lot of trouble long term. But yeah, like Theo said, easy.
31:58>> You know, Jeremy Bernard, you got to get on the Jeremy Bernard train here.
32:02>> Oh, I'm a I am.
32:03>> You got to get on it. He's a PPR scam.
32:04PPR scam. Rogers loves him. There we go.
32:07Um here's a one. This is a interesting question. Tucker Kraft or Isaiah Likely?
32:13Um and do you sit one of them for Luther Burden? So, I guess the question really is how afraid are you of the quarterback
32:21switch? J.J. McCarthy Um McCarthy had an absurd amount of fourth quarter passing yards. You get the J.J. McCarthy experience where he's willing to take
32:30shots down field. He's got the mobility, but also like it's the accuracy issues are going to pop up. I still think
32:38McCarthy's interesting for fantasy himself as a streamer because of the mobility and again, the ability to like just Yolo it down the field. Um, but
32:47Isaiah likely's had this elite elite role with James Winston. Uh, where where is your your um, confidence level in in likely maintaining this level of
32:58production? Does he take a dip? Does that also apply to Malik neighbors? That being said for this question, I'm going with Isaiah likely cuz this
33:06role is so elite and he is the clear number two pass catcher on this team in a game where they are nearly 10 point
33:13dogs.
33:14And then Tucker Kraft um, took a knock last week that was scary Jim, but he came back in. But Tucker Kraft again,
33:21you're talking about uh, he's the number three target. I know that Detroit is like super generous to opposing tight ends, but it's the number three target
33:29and now you have this question mark of do they try to ramp up Jacobs and does the running back usage look a little
33:35different? So, I'm going to go likely here, but I think it's close. Where are you at?
33:39>> You know what, man? I I think we already in one quarter of football forgot how badly Justin Jefferson did with JJ McCarthy a
33:48quarterback that he tanked the best receiver in the NFL. And I don't care Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson just as good. He tanked him. And now all of a
33:54sudden one quarter we're like he's the guy. 11 of 21 Theo, 52% completion.
33:59That's the JJ McCarthy we know and love.
34:01And he threw a pick in those 11, you know, 11 21 to 10.
34:05Look, they're playing Houston. Houston is in desperation mode so they're two and four. They're going to be sending all kinds of pressure at McCarthy.
34:14I don't know how he's going to like see straight. I can't I can't do anything and I'm worried about neighbors because
34:20of that week. It's a bad match up. I'm going to go with Burden. I get your point on likely because at the end of
34:25the day he's super involved in the offense. He's open in the early part of the field, which is where you'd have to
34:31get the ball out to. So, you're right about that. So, trust your gut on it, Theo. You're probably right on it. I I I
34:36just Houston and I know they're not playing the same as they did last year, but man, this is J.J. McCarthy.
34:41>> Yeah, Houston's Houston's coming back here. They've gotten to the quarterback a lot. I will say for McCarthy, I think getting to Harbaugh is a good
34:49thing for him. Um I understand Kevin O'Connell was the quarterback whisperer, but I think a lot was thrown at him as a
34:54young quarterback. I I and I'm not say sitting here saying that J.J. McCarthy is some great quarterback, but I do think things are going to look a lot
35:02better and I think there's a simplicity about things in New York here where they have this consolidated target share where 62 or 63% of the targets the last
35:13couple weeks are going to likely and neighbors. It looked like because they were in comeback mode last week you had uh some some targets going to Malachi
35:22Fields. At least they were trying to get like Malachi Fields ramped up. But, I think at the end of the day, J.J.
35:27McCarthy um it's not going to be perfect, but I don't I don't think I don't think this is like abandon ship here. Um I'm I'm
35:34going to be a little bit more optimistic, but I agree. I mean, if it if it looks like last year, then we
35:38should downgrade these guys considerably and they both should be traded away, but I think there's a lot of fear going on.
35:44I'll take a little bit of an optimistic approach and again for McCarthy himself, when we look at like how they used
35:50Jackson Dart in week one with a couple of design carries for him, Jim. I think you'll see some design carries for J.J.
35:57McCarthy this week to sort of get him going. Uh here's one for you. Joe Burrow coming off the bye week or Patrick
36:03Mahomes. Another champagne problem here.
36:07We like to help people out. I mean, if you're if you have these two quarterbacks, you're feeling good about things, but it's it's Joe Burrow this
36:12week.
36:13>> And honestly, it's not close. Patrick Mahomes for fantasy is going to be a problem right now because you had 15
36:20points against the Chargers because Kenneth Walker just ran ran ran. And look, who are they without? I mean, even though he might not be great right now,
36:27Rashee Rice is out. Sure, Xavier Worthy had a big game, that ain't going to happen too much. Kelce hasn't had production since week one. They're This
36:34is a run-based offense. This is not a pass-heavy offense anymore. So, it's not a matter of talent for Mahomes, it's a
36:41matter of they're not going to be airing it out anymore, and they're not going to have to in many games. So, yeah, it's
36:45Joe Burrow all day long.
36:47>> Yeah, Joe Burrow, I mean, in terms of start sit decisions with Burrow, Burrow coming out of the bye week, I think he's
36:53going to be a top like four quarterback moving forward. There's very few weeks you're not just going to be starting Joe
36:59Burrow. And And Jim, I have like a lot of confidence in this offense looking more explosive. There's some good matchups coming up for them. It's the
37:07Bengals. It's Joe Burrow. We've got Ja'Marr Chase, we got Tee Higgins. Chase Brown, hopefully that gets ramped up, and he's throwing touchdowns at a very
37:14high rate to Mike Gesicki. Here's one another interesting one. Not really that interesting, but I guess this is more of a It's clearly Brock Purdy over over
37:23Kyler Murray. I think that's not even close, but your thoughts on Kyler Murray, who's probably a low-end QB1 this week for Minnesota.
37:34Good matchup against Indianapolis, the Colts are reeling. And Murray gave us 50-plus rushing yards his last time on the field. Had his best game of the
37:41season heading into the bye week. Now he's getting weapons back, Addison, Addison, Hockenson. Jefferson's playing at a high level. So, I guess it's sort
37:51of We know you're going to say Purdy over Murray, but I'm interested in your thoughts on on Kyler.
37:55>> Yeah, I tried to tell people early in the season Kyler Murray was going to need about a month to learn the offense.
38:01It was not going to be an automatic I have it in week one. And then he was concussed in week one. Not Yeah, it was
38:06week one he got concussed, right?
38:08And then can't remember what the whole deal was. Then he missed week two, three, and four. So, he has In last
38:12week, though, in his two games he's played last year, 73 and 80% completion rate. 73 and 80. Think about that, Theo.
38:20Yeah, Kyler's good. In this offense, he's an average quarterback in a great passing offense. You're not playing him over Purdy this week, but you're
38:27definitely not dropping Kyler, and you're definitely looking to stream him in when you need him. He's going to be a very viable fantasy play. Like you said,
38:35they got him running last week, and he looked really good doing it.
38:38>> Yeah, looks good looks confident, looks comfortable. Uh we just had a live announcement on the show here uh that Jeremiah Love will not play in week
38:47seven. The power of doing live shows, Jim, we actually get some news coming in. So, just popped up. I I keep the you
38:54know, just the how the sausage is made, I keep the news the news updates I keep the phone like right below the laptop
38:59for this. So, I just saw it pop up. Your thoughts on the Arizona backfield this week. Tough match-up against Denver. Bam
39:07Knight. Do you have confidence in Bam Knight running it back this week?
39:11Allgeier, guy looks like he's running with a 50-lb weighted vest on.
39:15>> You're giving him credit, man. He like he got a person on his back. And all this stuff.
39:20>> He's got guys coming from CrossFit class or something.
39:22>> Oh my god. So, you're right, and that's the whole thing. I always wondered with Tyler Allgeier, man, if he was on a 3.6
39:28yards per carry last year on 143 totes in Atlanta who has a had a good offensive line, and he's down to 3 yards
39:34per carry but obviously behind a worse line, he's just not good. He is not a good running back who needs everything
39:40right around him. Bam Knight, he might be the ultimate replacement level, but he's better than Tyler Allgeier, and teams are not going to look to defend
39:49the run against this team. So, he's going to have room to run, and he can catch the ball. So, yeah, believe it or
39:54not, Bam Knight is useful in fantasy, probably an RB2.
39:58>> Yeah, Bam Knight, it's almost inevitable. I wrote this in my waiver wire column, you can get access to it in
40:02Rotowire like rotowire.com, but I write about Bam Knight at some point every single year. The guy pops up and has fantasy viability for like a month,
40:11and then he disappears, and he'll start the year inactive, and And next year somebody will get hurt, and Bam Knight will come and put 15 points up and
40:18you'll be like, "Oh my god, Bam Knight."
40:20>> Hey, we just did Michael Carter. Now we get Michael Carter, the band's back.
40:23Another player that comes back every year.
40:25>> all back. We should just start taking uh Bam Knight in the 20th round in Best Ball even if he's not on a roster
40:30>> [laughter] >> next year. Uh here's a question from Brendan Lee in the chat. Brendan wants to know what we think about Nico
40:36Collins. Is he a sell high? You got Jaylen Noel, and then you've got uh Marvin Harrison Jr. I would say that I
40:44Nico Collins is still the alpha in town, and based on the way they're running this offense, I don't want to get rid of
40:50Nico Collins cuz I feel like I could be getting rid of a guy who could put up 25 points in consecutive weeks and drop
40:55like 50 points in back-to-back weeks in the fantasy playoffs. Nico's role is still very, very good. But where are you at on this one with the younger pass
41:03catchers sort of emerging in Houston?
41:05>> It's a really interesting question because we know Nico's like a superstar.
41:09He literally is a top seven NFL receiver.
41:12But his targets, he's never had more than 120 targets in a season. The top receivers get 150, 160. He doesn't get
41:19that. And now we're looking at well, he's not the only game in town. And with him only getting the last 3 weeks,
41:25eight, seven, and five targets, that's not a lot of targets. So, you're hoping A, he stays healthy, and B, that each week he gets a big player a
41:33touchdown. So, I think trading him, you could get more in return than what he might actually be worth. And the injury
41:42risk is always going to be there. So, I think it's very clever to see don't give him away. But if you could get more than
41:49he's perceived to be worth, I think you consider it.
41:53>> It's an interesting one. Put some questions in, Brendan, like should I trade him for this guy? We can try to
41:58take like an actual trade question. Now we're going to get a bunch of trade questions here, but we got to get
42:02through these. We're going to do one more trade question, and I think it's an interesting one. Quinsahwn Judkins and Tyler Higbee for Tucker Kraft. I I would
42:10make this deal. I would make the deal of Higbee and Judkins for Kraft. Uh we know Judkins is banged up and it getting the
42:18getting access to Kraft is sort of a set it and forget it tight end. I worry a little bit that when Ferguson eventually
42:24does come back, you're going to get this situation where they're in 13 personnel, you got Parkinson, you've got Higbee, and then you got Ferguson, and Higbee
42:33will be a little bit less predictable on a weekly basis. So I'm picking Tucker Kraft side. You?
42:37>> Yes. Totally agree with you. And remember, Terrance Ferguson has a real specific role when he's back, but ultimately they Higbee is an older
42:45player, and he's going to see snaps dialed down a bit because of all the tight ends, he's probably the least blocker.
42:53>> Question from Black Rain in the chat.
42:55And again, we keep getting the Thursday ones. We'll do one more. De'Mario Douglas tonight, or do you go with So he
43:01needs two out of three here.
43:03Jacoby Lane and and Jeremy Bernard, or do you use Douglas? So I'm going to say Jeremy Bernard absolutely a starter.
43:10Jeremy Bernard a level above both of these guys. So comes down to Jacoby Lane or De'Mario Douglas. I'm going De'Mario.
43:16I'm riding the the heater here. I'm chasing a touchdown on Thursday.
43:19>> Yeah, and again, just because Cincinnati's corners have played better than a lot of us think is their linebackers that are their problem.
43:24That's not who Jacoby Lane's going to deal with. So I think and if Tyler Huntley as of right now is going to
43:29play, if you had make the decision tonight, it's got to be Douglas.
43:33>> Jim in the chat, Luther Burden tonight or Jaylen Waddle? Luther Burden, guys.
43:38We're going Luther Burden here. Your thoughts, Jim?
43:40>> We have to. And I'm going to pull something up real quick. I just did a video on Jaylen Waddle. Jaylen Waddle is
43:46other than the week two game. In the other five, he's averaging three catches and 18 yards. Now, the only ray of hope
43:52is they're playing the Cardinals who have been brutal. You can't take a chance on Waddle. Burden has a floor right now, and that's exactly what
44:00Jaylen Jaylen Waddle does not have.
44:02>> Okay, we get a comment in the chat. I don't know how this happened, but everything is too expensive these days.
44:06Pistachios are $20.99 at Costco. So, my question for you, Jim, what's your We're huge pistachio household here. My My kids like them. I like them. Love
44:15pistachios. I like the plain ones. I like the salt and pepper. I like the the the like the occasional flavor. The the
44:21pistachio There was like a dill pickle flavor. There's the honey roasted.
44:25They're great. What's your What's the nut of choice for Jim Coventry?
44:29>> Pecans. Love pecans.
44:32>> Pecans. You So, you're So, you're a pecan guy. Not Not like a pecan pie.
44:36You're You're sitting there eating a bowl of pecans and enjoying >> I have eaten them. Yeah, I have eaten them. Yeah.
44:40>> Salty Salted? Or you go plain? You go >> unsalted. Unsalted.
44:44>> Unsalted. Unsalted. Unsalted. You know almonds >> Good source of protein, too.
44:47>> Very good. Very good, for sure. Very good. Another Another window into the life of Jim Coventry. [laughter] Another >> Everybody's better for it now.
44:55>> Yeah, there we go. There we go. We found out that his favorite pizza is actually Lou Malnati's, the deep dish [laughter]
45:00of all deep dishes. So, Jim's basically putting down a calzone every time he gets a slice. It's amazing stuff in the
45:06Chicago area. Um we'll go with uh need two here.
45:10This is a full flex PPR league. Uh start uh 10-man uh regular PPR. T Higgins, Garrett Wilson, or Woody
45:20Marks? T Higgins and Garrett Wilson. I'm benching Woody Marks. Not Not even close.
45:25>> Agreed with that. Go with the I mean, go with the superstar players here and they both are that. Um Theo, make sure we get
45:30all those super chat, too. I don't know how many of them we got, but I know we got like a total of seven.
45:34>> I'm I'm way up here. I'm way up here. Um let's do Let's scroll down a little bit cuz I will get back to some
45:39>> Yeah, if you hit the star at the top, it gives you all the super chats alone with nothing else.
45:43>> Okay, this one is from Endless and Artificial. Hey Kings, would you trade Jameson Williams and Kyren Williams for Basile To'oto'o and Zay Flowers? Wow.
45:53And this is a PPR league 14-teamer.
45:57So, uh this is a tricky one.
46:00Kyren and Jameson or Basile Jordan and Zay Flowers. So, you've got >> Dead even.
46:06>> It's it's Zay Zay Flowers a clear tier above my guy Jameson Williams. Jim Covert is not a not a Jamo guy, but we both love
46:13Flowers. Top six wide receiver rest of the way.
46:16>> Right.
46:16>> And then Kyren Williams is like a top six running back rest of the way. And his receiving role should trend up with
46:22no Puka Nacua. Which if you had to pick a side here, Jim, which way you going?
46:28>> The only reason I go Tuton and Flowers, I think their weekly floor is higher than the Jameson part of the Jamo and
46:35Kyren one. That's the only Otherwise, this is a dead even trade.
46:39>> Yeah, I'm with you. I'm going to I'm going to go with the Tuton and Flowers side.
46:43Here's another one.
46:45Do you start Malik Nabers or A.J. Brown?
46:47Malik Nabers. Even though I said all those nice things about A.J. Brown, I'm going Malik Nabers. Jim, with your distrust and dislike and hatred of J.J.
46:55McCarthy, do you lean A.J. Brown or do you go with Malik Nabers?
47:00>> A.J. Brown got 10 targets. He's probably going to get 10 targets again. He's probably going to catch the ball this
47:05week.
47:07I I just can't rem- I just can't forget what J.J. McCarthy did to Justin Jefferson. And Malik Nabers is great, but he ain't no Justin Jefferson. I I
47:14until I see a game where Jefferson lifts Nabers, I'm going to go with A.J. Brown.
47:21>> All right. All right. Um I'm going to go Malik Nabers. [laughter] We're butting heads on this one, but we both like A.J.
47:25Brown.
47:26Okay, start three. This is from Supple- Supreme Client Tail.
47:31Start three. Luther Burden, D.K.
47:33Metcalf, Jeremey Bernard, Michael Wilson, and then we'll remove Emeka Egbuka because sounds like he might not go.
47:40>> Yeah.
47:41>> So, um we are picking three out of four.
47:44Burden, D.K. Metcalf, Jeremey Bernard, Michael Wilson. So, both Pittsburgh wide receivers, uh they have a great match-up against New Orleans this week. New Orleans
47:54defense is very poor. And you've got a situation where the the target share for these guys was incredibly consolidated.
48:01Now, was that a little bit having to do with Muth being banged up and playing through a calf injury? I don't know. But
48:08I don't think so, Jim. I think I don't I think it's just the way it is.
48:12>> Um I think I'm going to go with Crazy to go with both Pittsburgh Steelers here? I I I I don't know. This
48:20is a really tough one. I like all four of these guys. Which way are you going?
48:25>> I'm sitting Michael Wilson.
48:26>> Wilson, Burks, DK.
48:28>> I'm sitting Michael Wilson. He has seven points in each of the last two games.
48:32He's slow. The film is out on him. He's not He's an average at best NFL receiver. And I just don't see an
48:39opportunity for him. I think Denver, even without Surtain, they have been great against wide receivers. Don't trust Michael Wilson. I don't trust I
48:46don't trust Jacoby Brissett.
48:49>> I don't trust Jacoby Brissett at all, either. And I feel like the Denver Broncos defense is trending up. I think
48:54there's a lot of like hey, they're not getting to the quarterback. Now they they lose Surtain, but we've seen some very good
49:01performances. We saw it last week in Seattle. Uh you've got also Arizona.
49:06Like it's a perfect storm. Arizona's coming off of a quote-unquote big win over the Rams who've got some problems of their own.
49:12>> Oh my gosh.
49:12>> This feels like Denver teeing off on Arizona. Uh so you're sort of buying into the garbage time. I'm sitting Wilson as well. I'm going both
49:20Pittsburgh Steelers, and I'm going Luther Burden.
49:23Here's a dynasty question. I love my dynasty content. Um trade George Kittle, Dak Prescott, and Ja'Darien Price for a 2027 first, second, and third, and
49:35Jalen Hurts. So really the question um I'm rebuilding, and he has a clear path to the 101, aka Jeremiah Smith. So
49:43you've got George Kittle, Dak Prescott, and and Ja'Darien Price for a 2027 1, a 2, a 3, and Jalen Hurts.
49:51It feels about right. I think I think if I was rebuilding, getting away from George Kittle seems like the right bet.
49:58Judarian Price Long is going to have to deal with Charbonnet next year, too.
50:02Dak is still Dak, though. I think people are really sour on him. I think he's going to turn things around. I don't I
50:07do not believe the Dallas Cowboys offense is going to look this bad every each and every week. But I think this is
50:12about right. I will say that the and we'll get away from Dynasty here. With the NIL, the late 2027 first and the 2027 seconds are going to be a
50:23little less valuable than we thought they were going to be heading into this season from a Dynasty perspective. But I think this is okay. Where you at on this
50:29one, Jim?
50:30>> Love Dak as a player, but for fantasy, he he has too many bad games. Get rid of him. Because when you start him, he
50:36stinks. Last week he gives Green Bay 17 points, you got to be kidding me. Four of his six games under 20. Dak is a good
50:44very good NFL quarterback. For fantasy, you can't trust him. Kittle's 33, like you said, Theo. And Judarian Price, I always wondered if his skill set would
50:52translate to the NFL, and now he's a fumbler. Oh, great. The coaches are going to love that. So, you know what?
50:56You're rebuilding, take your shot. Trade it away, get those picks.
51:00>> Here's a good one from Deshaun Comer in the YouTube chat. 10-man league, and this is a 1.5 point PPR. So, heavily
51:09weighted PPR.
51:11Not tight end premium 1.5, just everybody gets 1.5. Parker Washington and Bucky Irving for Justin Jefferson and Jeremiah Love.
51:20So, the question here is, are we buying in on the Jeremiah Love end of season?
51:26The schedule looks really good for the playoffs, and does he do like you know, what he's supposed to do and has a bunch
51:33of good games in the last six games of the season, and then all of a sudden we're like, Jeremiah Love, you're taking
51:37him 15th overall next year in PPR. Or do you have a little bit of apprehension on that? Jefferson's role looks elite.
51:44Parker Washington, it feels like a buy low opportunity. Jacksonville's got a really strong playoff schedule. And then Bucky Irving coming off of a
51:52really poor game, but the usage was outstanding. Jim, like Kenneth Gainwell nuked. And it was a game where Sean Tucker didn't play, and they still
52:00didn't get Gainwell any touches.
52:02>> All right. Justin Jefferson's going to be Justin Jefferson the rest of the way.
52:06You already see the beginning of it.
52:07It's already starting. Kyler Murray is working out there, and it's going to get better each week. Jeremiah Love, look, I know he had an injury in the preseason.
52:14Maybe this was a setback on the same injury.
52:17That's nerve-racking.
52:19But Parker Washington, as good as he's been, Brevin Jordan's getting too many targets. Washington's not getting the same amount of targets he should. I'm
52:25going to go on the Jefferson side of this one, hoping Jeremiah Love. But if you're at all worried about Jeremiah Love's injury, then fade it. Theo, a
52:31news that came out during our show.
52:33Saquon Barkley news. Mike Garofolo reports that Barkley is expected to return to practice today, Thursday, and is in line to play Monday against the
52:42Cowboys.
52:43>> We love it. We love it. Breaking news.

54:13Okay, two injury wait outs. Adoonsay tonight or wait out Ebuka? Ramondre tonight or wait out Saquon? We just got this information, so Saquon for me,
54:24um I'm going to use him over Mondre. The the Corey Kyler, Trayvion Henderson, it's Saquon. And then Adoonsay tonight or wait out Ebuka? I think you use
54:33Adoonsay tonight cuz Ebuka sounds very, very iffy if if anything.
54:38Your thoughts?
54:38>> Yeah, there's no doubt. But Barkley's the one roll with him, it sounds like he's good. Ebuka, like I said earlier,
54:43he didn't get put in the concussion protocol till into the week.
54:48I I mean, you barely clear it if you get concussed on a Sunday. It looks like he had symptoms later, so I don't think you
54:54can do that. Um Theo, we got a comment that we missed a super chat, so I'm I'm going to uh We can click the starred one and then
55:00it'll show up for you.
55:01>> I'll I'll find it. There's um down bad at running back this week with James Cook on a bye.
55:06Keaontay Ingram, Damien Pierce, uh Mike Washington or both Arizona backs. He could pick up Bam Knight. So, it's Bam Knight, Keaontay Ingram, we're
55:16going to remove Damien Pierce cuz Saquon's going to go or Mike Washington needs to start two of these. Are you rolling the dice on a Keaontay Ingram
55:24bounce back?
55:25What what are we doing here?
55:27>> His floor is zero. We saw last week his floor is zero and I don't know what the coach is going to do. So, I can't take a
55:33chance on a zero. So, honestly for me, um but again, your other options, right?
55:37Mike Washington, what is his floor? Two?
55:40And what's his ceiling? Unless he scores a touchdown, five?
55:43So, probably you're probably right.
55:44Scarbrough is probably worth a risk at that point. If he plays, he's going to play angry. He's going to play with a
55:50chip on his shoulder. So, that would help. Like you said, Pierce now is out of the equation. I would I would as a
55:55second one I you need two, right? Or just one? Oh, all right. No, I would be um I would take a shot on and Bam Knight
56:00is a second one. Get rid of Pierce and add Bam Knight.
56:03>> Yeah, I'm adding Bam Knight as well.
56:06Yeah, it sounds like we we missed one, Jim, but I will try to cover that up.
56:10Let's take a couple more here.
56:13Uncle Ted saying to stash Zach and Thomas. Okay, you found it. Here we go.
56:17Beer batter gummy.
56:19Loves Moncrief. Nearly dropped Terrance Ferguson and Roshan. This can't be it.
56:23There's not a not a question here. I think this is just a a super chat.
56:26Right?
56:27>> Uh oh, it looks like it. Okay, he said we missed it, but okay. Sounds good.
56:31Okay. Yeah, click it off, then.
56:33>> Okay, so let's let's keep doing this.
56:35Let me find a couple more questions and then we got to wrap things up here. I got too many shows going on. Really
56:41appreciate the chat here. This has been a lot of fun. Make sure you're checking out my sleeper show. Make sure you're
56:46checking out that drops on Saturday.
56:48Make sure you drop or checking out Jim's streaming start sit show on Sunday mornings. And make sure you're checking out everything we're putting out over at
56:56RotoWire. We're crushing it right now.
56:59Let's go with this one.
57:01Uncle Ted, who's active in these chats.
57:04R.J. Harvey or Aaron Jones in the flex this week?
57:07>> Man, R.J. Harvey catches a lot of passes. Aaron Jones, if Put it this way, you got the decision for Sunday. If
57:14Jordan Mason is active, I think you play Harvey cuz he's going to catch the ball no matter what. If Jordan Mason misses
57:21another week, then it's Aaron Jones.
57:24>> Yeah, I I think R.J. Harvey is super interesting. I talked about him on the this the trade show. He's got like an
57:3018% target share, Jim. Like 18% target share, that's that's Jamyr Gibbs level target share. So, I think they're going to have to lean into the running backs.
57:40Little self-scouting with Sean Payton.
57:42Um continuing to take a couple more questions then we're going to wrap it up.
57:46Let me find a good one for you. We got a lot of of guys who we you keep getting mentioned here.
57:50>> We have another super chat.
57:52>> Okay, here we go. Need one uh Demario Douglas, JK Dobbins, Roschon Johnson, or Jaylen Waddle?
57:59It's an interesting one. I think it's I'm going to roll with the Thursday guy here. So, for me it comes down to
58:04Roschon or Demario Douglas. Despite Jim Coventry's disdain for him, I might go Roschon Johnson here. I think he's going to get a lot of touches.
58:11>> Yeah, I mean the volume's king in fantasy football. You might stink as a player, but Ben Johnson doesn't stink as
58:15a coach and his offensive line doesn't stink and the Patriots can't stop the run. So, Roschon Johnson could be horrible, but he could get you eight to
58:2310 fantasy points.
58:26>> All right, here was here's one with a somebody down bad. We got to rescue them. This is from Davey Rocket.
58:31Dontayvion Wicks or Ryan Flournoy?
58:33Easily Ryan Flournoy. With with Devonte Smith back um and Dallas Goedert looks like he has a strong role. Smith has a
58:40strong role. Saquon's back. You're going Ryan Flournoy who's the most valuable wide receiver three in fantasy football right now. Jim, he just looks good and
58:49he's getting opportunities.
58:50>> Love Ryan Flournoy. Um but and Wicks's problem is this.
58:54Tanner McKee understands. I get the ball to Devonte Smith. I get the ball to Dallas Goedert and nobody else really matters. And he's right.
59:02>> And we have people saying that they're worried about Call of Duty affecting Kyler Murray.
59:05>> Guys, come on. Come on.
59:07>> Um >> [laughter] >> Still?
59:08>> Tyler Shuck Tyler Shuck um or Kyler Murray? Which way are you going with this one? Shuck has a tricky match-up
59:16against Pittsburgh, but he's coming off a good performance. And you've got Kyler Murray again a very good match-up against Indianapolis coming off of his
59:24bye week. They're close though. This is sort of the QB1 line quarterbacks here.
59:29Your thoughts?
59:30>> I have them right next to each other in my rankings. The only reason I put Shuck ahead is cuz there's so many games he
59:35throws the ball 45 times, and if that happens, he wins by volume. But, if he doesn't throw 45 times, Kyler Murray's I
59:42think Kyler Murray has a better floor.
59:43He's going to run. He has a safer floor.
59:45Shuck has more ceiling.
59:47So, play it that way. Quite honestly, play it that way.
59:50>> Uh here's one more Thursday question.
59:52Caleb Williams or C.J. Stroud? Caleb Williams.
59:55>> Yeah.
59:55>> Caleb Williams, easy there. Um here's here's one more.
59:59Um Jeremy Bernard, Drake London, and Jamar Chase. Um or Tee Higgins. So, what is this one? This is you need to pick
60:07three. So, we're eliminating one player here. We're eliminating We're eliminating my guy Jeremy Bernard in this >> Yeah.
60:14>> this question.
60:15>> Play your superstars.
60:16>> Play your superstars. Don't I mean, don't go chasing it and bench one of these guys. You could You could end up
60:20benching a literally a a 30-pointer from any of those other three guys. Um I'm going to try to find one more one or
60:28two more good ones. Here's from Colin in the chat. Joe Burrow or Jordan Love? I'm going Jordan Love.
60:34>> It again, super close, but I have Jordan Love Love ahead. Now, just remember this. Josh Jacobs is back, and Matt
60:41LaFleur has always tried to limit the passes Love throws, but he's going hot right now, and Detroit's so bad. So, just play Jordan Love.
60:51>> All right, guys. Listen, this is This has been a lot of fun. We're going to wrap things up. Uh Jim, let everybody
60:56know what you have coming out rest of the week.
