Marvin Harrison Jr. who actually looked pretty decent last week. He is doing exactly what I thought Mike LaFleur should have done in the preseason. Slants, slants, get the ball in his hands. Remember, Stroud played in college with him. So, the chemistry, it's already there. Harrison wasn't ramped up on snaps. Play Harrison here... he's running well. He's got this very strong role and pass rate over expectation, pass volume, passing yards, like any sort of pass metric you want to look at for Houston, they're really pass-happy offense... by far the best we've seen C.J. Stroud play since his rookie year.
STACKED’s take
Start in PPR; elite role with Stroud in best passing environment of season
Marvin Harrison Jr. is a start recommendation in PPR touchdown-heavy formats. He showed clear motivation in a limited role last week and is running well with a very strong role in Houston's elite pass environment. Mike LaFleur is using slants to get the ball in his hands quickly; one target was downfield, others short. C.J. Stroud played with Harrison in college, so chemistry is already established. Harrison wasn't ramped up on snaps yet, suggesting room for increased volume. Houston is a huge favorite this week and runs a pass-happy offense with strong pass rate over expectation, pass volume, and passing yards metrics; C.J. Stroud is playing his best football since his rookie year, making this one of the best receiving environments available. Harrison is part of a talented trio of receivers.
