Don't chase Kenny Gainwell simply because he had 25-140-0 rushing in Week 8. Gainwell's big day was the product of a freakishly run-heavy game script for the Buccaneers, who threw only three passes in a rain-soaked 16-0 win over the Falcons.

Gainwell's Week 8 explosion driven by game script; valuable only as Irving handcuff.

Don't chase Gainwell simply because he had 25-140-0 rushing in Week 8; his big day was the product of a freakishly run-heavy game script for the Buccaneers, who threw only three passes in a rain-soaked 16-0 win over the Falcons. Gainwell hadn't run for more than 18 yards in a game all season but has had 228 rushing yards over the last two weeks as the Buccaneers had a similarly run-heavy game script in a Week 7 demolition of the Panthers. Gainwell is a high-end handcuff for Bucky Irving and is a worthwhile stash because of how well the Buccaneers run the ball, but his standalone value is limited.
