Positive signalRole

Allgeier seized backfield opportunity with 147 yards and 2 TDs in half game.

Allgeier is rostered in just over 50% of Yahoo leagues but warrants attention. Jeremiah Love aggravated an ankle issue in Week 8 and Bam Knight left with a concussion, giving Allgeier the entire backfield for a half. He capitalized with 147 rushing yards on 11 attempts, 44 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. If both backs are out for Week 9, Allgeier would see a hefty workload, though against Seattle's strong defense.
