Allgeier's 147-yard, 2-TD breakout seizes lead role; expect volume vs. Seattle

Allgeier seized the starting role after Jeremiah Love re-injured his ankle and Bam Knight was concussed, rushing for 147 yards and a touchdown while adding five receptions for 44 yards and a score. Before Week 8, Allgeier had finished with more than 61 rushing yards just once this season while operating in a committee. The source expects Allgeier to lead Arizona's backfield on the road against Seattle in Week 9, with Love and Knight both expected to miss time, though he cautions to temper expectations against Seattle's stout front.
